Now, it's Red Eye Radio. Gary McNamara and Eric Harley talk about everything from politics to social issues and news of the day. Whether you're up late or you're just starting your day, welcome to the show from the Uniden America Studios. This is Red Eye Radio. All across America, we are Red Eye Radio. He is Eric Hurley, and I'm Gary McNamara. You know, when we look at the media, Eric, I was just thinking about this yesterday, because it was just as we were getting ready to leave yesterday, that I saw on the, oh, it's the app site that I have, let me just hit, What would it? Oh, was it Flight Radar? Okay. Flight Radar 24. All right. Which I use all the time when I fly. In fact, I'm flying later on today. I'm going in to see my dad and my great nephew play basketball. Yeah. By the way, they won their league championship two nights ago. Oh, good. They're playing very, very well. So Flight Radar 24, I'm always watching it because you can watch where your flight is. you can actually look at your plane go across the country which is really really cool well they're the ones that i first saw last night i mean just a minute before we were on the air just finishing up the show and i i see this story about you know they'll el paso airports you know the the airspace has been shut down so it's closed right and will be for 10 days right And then I quickly scanned, as we do, within 15 seconds, like, you know, Fox, CNN, nobody had it. So I'm like, okay, I don't know if this is legit or what's going on here or whatever. Get home and find out, oh, my gosh, it's true. And then they pull back on it. And I'm thinking to myself, when that all ended, why didn't you have the military in a press conference out there explaining exactly what was going on? now it became such a huge story and the tribalism was instantaneous by the time it got to the afternoon the story was gone yeah i just find it fascinating the media that we live in today which includes social media and the influencers taking something and making it the biggest story for an hour or so and then it's gone yeah i you know it's i wondered about the um the effect the power the leverage that the that the influencer community has at all on a number of things it used to be they could make a story pop that wouldn't normally pop and then all of a sudden it's around for a week or two now if a story is important i mean if a story is critical right and it's going to affect a ton of people it's going to be news anyway but i really think that the influencer thing is just kind of i don't know i don't know if it's if it's uh met its saturation level already in terms of what it's able to carry no it It reeks of, to me, it reeks of BS cheerleading. It's either BS cheerleading or demonizing. Yeah, right. And it's instantaneous, like, this is the worst thing that ever happened. This is the best that it's ever been. Right. And the public goes, no, neither is true. It's somewhere in the middle there. I got to figure out where that is. And it may lean to one side, you know, or another, but it's so instantaneous. and the influencers themselves don't, they understand what they are. They understand they're political activists, and they do it without any shame at all. And I don't believe that they view that their line or part of propaganda, it's just, well, probably they believe they understand they're part of propaganda, because what is in propaganda? propaganda is what is propaganda well talk to the person who believes it's propaganda yeah and and they'll explain to you why on it but i think they know they're political activists but they're not lying in the fact that they claim to be just total journalist and it's pretty obvious that they're not by the immediacy and the bluntness and the finality of almost every statement that comes out. In the finality, I mean, this is the best thing ever, or this is the worst thing ever. Well, sometimes it feels like this is the best thing since sliced bread. Well, what is it? Sliced bread? Yeah, exactly. Mic drop. You ready? Let's do it. Hosted by former Navy SEAL Mike Ridland. It's unfiltered. You know, you go to the sound of the gun, bam, you're gone. It's weird. I mean, I've had so many near-death experiences. It's raw. I love this country. I offered my life to serve this nation and protect its people. The question, you know, what's the meaning of life? And to me, it just boils down to one single word, which is purpose. Mic drop, follow and listen on your favorite platform. Hi, I'm Joe Salci. I host of the Stacking Benjamins podcast. I don't want my relatives to know how much money I have. So every time I go to Thanksgiving, I ask them if I can borrow more. Stealth wealth. Stacking Benjamins. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. And it's, you know, it's, it's, it is a lot of hoopla and nothing that is really greatly affecting a great number of people but the el paso airport thing i mean it was the demonization that came out immediately we know there's no reason for this no you don't one one congresswoman was yeah and then the influence was on the left i go you don't know neither do i right you know i don't know maybe there was a miscommunication in it yeah i do wonder and i'd like an explanation why they first saw 10 day thought 10 days and be simple as the official people coming out and saying we weren't sure what was going on so we put out the 10-day notice to allow you know the cartel to know we're fully going to go after this and we're going to end this even if it takes 10 days then we resolved the problem they backed off and so we could take it off and also that if you're talking about the closure of airspace, you're going to affect a lot of flights, a lot of activity. And you could also include, we also want any commercial traffic and those responsible for commercial traffic to be able to plan accordingly. And so, you know, if that's the case, again, there's a pretty quick fix to it. I think that's really what happened, is that because it popped on social media, I think people did their homework on it and was like, oh, okay. You know, whatever it is now, it's over. And, again, you have to factor in the number of people affected by it. I don't know what the... Eight flights in and out is what was affected in that time period. And what would have been affected over 10 days. Right. You know, it's still. Well, but you know what it made me do? You know, it's not a, it's not a, it's a major, in terms of border crossings, it's a major border crossing. But it's, you know, what would be the major effect? You know what it made me do? Because I have the flight later on this afternoon. It made me look to see where my incoming flight was coming in from. I don't know, is it coming in from El Paso? No, it's coming in from Mexico. Yeah. yeah so i mean that was the immediate reaction i got only a minute 10 days what flights may i be taking that are they're coming out of el paso and i normally do the the connection when i had to see my dad in new york it's really it's never out of el paso i've never had it before but i checked just to me because that's what you're you're worried about okay does this affect any any flight that lands or takes off in El Paso is coming in from somewhere or headed somewhere, which is going to affect, as we know, the domino effect. Right. But yeah, I just found out it was interesting because it all of a sudden became the biggest story. And then I did a few errands and everything else and came back and went where the story All I see are screaming Democrats and Bam Bondi Yeah It like oh okay That ended quickly But I thought that was, I just thought it was interesting how that, you know, how it goes. As to the Guthrie case, really, except for the glove. And I saw they said a set of gloves. First it was a glove, and then that New York Post said, did you see that? Yes. A set of gloves. And I'm like, well, if it was one glove, how'd you find the other one? Well, not only did they do that, they did that like in back-to-back sentences. The glove, and then the next sentence said set of gloves. Set of gloves. Well, which is it? Without explaining. Wait a minute. Did you find both of them? Yeah. Yeah. But are they reproducing? I mean, it's right. Well, you know, there was one analyst that said this could be the key, and I think pretty much any piece of physical evidence could be the key, right? If there's any DNA found in that glove, then you can take that DNA, of course, and quite possibly find who's responsible. At the very least, who's the owner of the glove was. And that may be a new lead. But that was really the only it seemingly after everything in Rio Rico went. during our show yesterday basically kind of ended it was yesterday was very quiet other than the glove yes it was and the one thing uh i think it was uh senator mark kelly who by the way again i don't know if people know or haven't heard but savannah guthrie called senator mark kelly because he lives just a few minutes from Nancy. And also being a senator, and she knew him on her way to the airport, not knowing what was going on with her mother yet, she called him first, and then he called the authorities. He made a statement yesterday, you know, talking about certain things that have been learned and certain leads, and certain leads follow through and others don't go anywhere, alluding to what happened in Rio Rico yesterday. And that's typical, I guess, for a situation where you really don't have any answers. If you don't have any answers, you follow every lead through to the point that you can't. You know, it isn't out of the norm for them to detain someone or even get a search warrant for someone's place. That ends up being nothing. Ends up being the person was not connected and there was no evidence found at the place that was searched through the warrant. So it's it seems again seems like because we haven't heard much except for finding the glove in the New York Post, by the way, was with authorities when they they were there. I don't know if they were writing with authorities or or doing a ride along or if they were trailing authorities or if they just happened to be in that area when authorities pulled up and saw that glove. but the New York Post was saying we were there when that glove was found. But again, I have to believe that if there's anything in terms of the promise of that glove, it has to be any DNA evidence that would be found from that glove. When I saw, because it's sort of related to what we were on yesterday, but when I saw Harvey at TMZ talk about what surprised him was from the communication to him that they believe is legit from the kidnapper. or the abductor, whatever, I mean, whatever status you want to give to the alleged criminal in that case. Right. That reading that and then seeing the actual person in the mask come up to the door and everything that was going on, that there seemed to be in his mind a disconnect as to the sophistication and the knowledge of the person, you know, writing the communication, for the ransom, the one they believe was credible, and what he saw in the video. And I found that interesting because we said the same thing. It just looks... Yeah, it does not... Nothing makes sense to you. Because the ransom note communication was somebody with, But as Harvey, as he was basically telling this in interviews, this is a, I think the interview I saw was with Bill Hemmer at Fox News. Look, this is an intelligent person, but the video, the person in the video is moving a lot slower, doesn't seem to be intelligent in terms of their moves of trying to cover up that camera. they made the point at some point in that discussion that I had made yesterday on the program and that is if it's somebody who's familiar with a home and Harvey made the observation that you don't even have to be familiar with that particular home to understand that many homes have a doorbell can so yeah the fact that that wasn't accounted for whether or not that person was familiar with that home or not, but they didn't seem to be in a hurry. I noticed that just moving very slowly. And then understanding that once you're standing in front of the camera and you've been in the camera view for 30 seconds, going and getting a plant to put in front of it is not going to do anything. And there seemed to be no sense of urgency in doing it. Right. you know what reminded me of remember the unsolved murder of the woman in the church in midlothian texas yeah you see beavers they still haven't solved it right remember the person walking around right they had a ton of footage from cameras yeah and i mean i'm not saying the person looks that the figure looks exactly the same right it's it's just the move the the the movement and the seemingly just slow way that they both moved right i'm not making a tie-in it's just what it reminded me of right that and they've never solved that right yeah and that's about 14 miles from where i live Mm-hmm. Yeah. And so you can put a ton of resources into a ton of things and still never solve, you know, solve something because they've never solved that one. I wonder if law enforcement has a person of interest in that one. Well, Cash Patel saying, you know, there are. I mean, the one in Midlothian I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. Texas. We haven't heard anything on that case. It's weird. But, you know, Kash Patel talking about the case with Nancy Guthrie, that it, again, they have multiple leads, but a lead isn't really anything until it turns into something. I mean, that sounds like Captain Obvious, but it's like what happened in Rio Rico. It might play out to be something and maybe not. And that family, including the guy who was detained, it was you know it they seem to be again some completely unaware of what was going on or they're very good actors but it's you know it's now we're going you know in into uh you know this weekend will be two weeks And there's been no proof of life video, nothing coming from anybody who has Nancy Guthrie. Let's hope and pray that this thing all ends with her coming home alive. We are Rudd Eye Radio. Brought to you by FPPF, Fuel Power Max. I know I said that the photos and the video of the alleged abductor of Nancy Guthrie that was taken by the camera outside of her house reminded me of just the actual perpetrator. reminded me of the Missy Beavers case. Just so people know, the Missy Beavers case happened in Midlothian, Texas, almost 10 years ago. She was a mother of three, arrived at church around 4.15, or excuse me, 4.18 a.m. to set up her fitness class. Surveillance video captured an individual roaming the church halls for roughly 30 minutes before Beavers arrived. The person was dressed in full tactical gear, including helmet, vest, gloves, and carried a hammer. and the person murdered Missy Beavers. Still unsolved to this day. Yeah. But just the actual, the slowness of the perpetrator Right. has reminded me of what we saw yesterday. On our website, rediradioshow.com, show info with stations, podcasts, and more. Red Eye Radio. All right, we never hit on this, the seditious conspiracy charge and the fact that the grand jury would not indict. You surprised by that? I wasn't. No, no. I don't know what the case is. I don't know what was presented. But just on its face, when you look at, you know, seditious conspiracy and what they did, they're all protected under free speech. Right. And I'm sure that, you know, that's probably what the grand jury looked at and said, we don't. There's nothing here. Now for Kelly. Mark Kelly would be separate based on what the military may decide to do. That's a military action. That doesn't apply here to criminal charges. I look at this and I'm like, and again, I wasn't in there. I don't know what evidence they presented and what the jury rejected. But on its face, seditious conspiracy is not an act which is based on putting a video together. Right. Right. You know, if there had been further actions beyond that, again, you know, not knowing what the grand jury had in front of them is is the biggest question. But for me. The focus in question was always about Mark Kelly. Based on his military experience and and being a part of that and how, by the way, did they cross a line? They absolutely crossed a line. But, you know, does it get to the point of a grand jury indictment? Well, according to this grand jury, no. Now, with Mark Kelly, we'll see what happens going forward. Because there is a different level of responsibility of somebody who is former military. and that has its own influential value in a moment like that. Even if he's not in charge of those in the military that he's addressing, still there is that influential value, and you can cross the line most definitely in that setting to get you in trouble. And I don't know where they'll go on that one. I'm not sure. You know, when it was last used, when it was used for some of the J6 Proud Boys, I guess it was used against, some against the Oath Keepers. We looked at that and said seditious conspiracy. There was no intent unless you could prove insurrection, which they could not. It was a riot that got out of control. That isn't seditious conspiracy. Right. When you look at the last time it was used before that, and we had talked about this back then, does the charge actually fit what happened? The last time before that, it was successfully used. 1995, Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheik, and nine others were convicted of plotting to bomb New York City landmarks. That you can justify as seditious conspiracy. Right. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I mean, had this group, again, had a plan beyond this, it's one thing. Other than that, again, did they cross a moral line? Of course they did. A legal line is questionable, with the exception of Mark Kelly, when it comes to the military. And we'll see what happens there. You see the Baptist leader go after Bashir? Yeah. This is Governor Bashir of Kentucky, who used his Christianity. His Christianity is justification for mutilating children. Yeah. Just like that. And the whole transgender thing. I know, just insane. Yeah. Oh, did you hear too, ABC, you know, the mass killing by the man? Mm-hmm. They said woman. Right. And they turned off all the comments. Right. They wouldn't allow you to comment on it. Right, yeah. And in Canada saying the person. Yeah, right. So it doesn't matter if it's a murder. They still have to. Tell the lie. It's a mass murder. They still have to tell the lie. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Over and over again. You know, the New York Post was reporting on it and talking about the grandmother of the man who was the shooter. And this is a transgender male to female, basically. But there were notes from the grandmother and former, you know, and this apparently came from a previous birthday and the whole thing. but love to our grandson and everything else. And I thought, well, liberal media is not going to, I don't know how many of them posted that story. New York post did. And, but you've got to go to every length to keep the agenda going. And they won't address it. They're not going to change. It's not going to happen. No, it's obvious they don't plan on changing anything, not one single thing of self-evident narratives. Right. We all know a man cannot be a woman. Right. They don't care. No. We all know men should not be competing in sports against women. They don't care. We all know voter ID is the right way to go. Right. Everyone knows it. Everyone agrees. You know, when you get to 83 percent, that's as close to everyone as you can get. Only the most radical people who want chaos, consistent chaos, are the ones that hold these type of opinions. Well, and also there are reports out that the police had been called to the shooter's house previously multiple times because of mental health situations. And I thought to myself the mental health crisis that going on that the left brings up consistently they ignore it when it inconvenient It is a true mental health crisis by their own standards And this was one more example in the reporting of it, or lack of reporting of it. They just simply don't want to address it. It doesn't work for the agenda. even when they bring it up, you know, the one professor bringing it up when being questioned by Josh Hawley. While even bringing it up, you're part of the problem, Josh Hawley. You can't even answer or ask questions about it because you become part of the problem. The problem is the left going through this entire equation. The left, especially when it comes to children. Now, the shooter in the case in Canada was 18. Don't know what was going on in terms of any treatment or anything else under the age of 18. But when it comes to children, the left has been full on. They're still fighting for it. Bashir is just one more example. Trying to use Christianity, God loves children, as an excuse to mutilate those children. It's the adults that are making the choices here. And allowing children to do this, they don't have the mental wherewithal to do that when they're under 18. we draw that line as a society for a reason and it's up to adults to protect them and the left pretending to protect them and calling it care i know is bizarre grotesque and bashear is just one more and a long line of these radicals who's fighting to make this happen Yeah. It's the most perverse I've ever seen a major political party that is blunt on their perversions. Yes. They're not trying to hide it. They're not trying to walk around it. No. I mean, they do stupid things like try to say in the last couple of weeks from Democrats, No, no, no. God is okay with abortions. The Bible's okay with abortions. Oh, yeah. It's my Christianity. Because I care about children, I believe they should be able to make the decision as children to mutilate their genitals and be part of a sterilization process. I'm okay with that. Yeah. Why? Because my religion says I care about children. Talk about posterior backwards logic. Yeah. Right. And proudly talks about it. And the people on The View were clapping. Yay! Yay, irreversible damage to children. Yay! Let's be more evil and perverse. Yay! Yay! Could you imagine you and I? You and I couldn't really do any type of panel discussion shows any longer. No, no. We'd last one segment and then nobody would. Right. You guys are out. Yeah, forget the legal note. I'm going to put it straight for you. I just, I couldn't sit in there anymore and just. No. And I wouldn't react. I wouldn't react. For example, I wouldn't want to do a Pam Bondi thing back and forth. I understand why the administration's doing it, though. because, as you know, they're basically coming out and saying, you're Hitler, now shut up and listen to how we're going to tell you. Give us five minutes to call you Hitler. Right, exactly. And it's like, no, you're not going to do that. Right. But it would be, I'm talking about how I know you and I would attack them, and it would be, you're not coming back. Because I'd look at Bashir and say, you're an evil pervert. Well, they're not going to, well, no, we need to have a rational discussion. No, you're an evil pervert. Yep. there's no discussion on this. You're pushing to do irreversible damage to children. And then you're using some form of, as we came up with the term yesterday, satanic Christianity to defend it. Yeah. It's weird. Yeah, it is. It just keeps getting more bizarre. It's really uncomfortable watching it because you're like, God, this is so evil. Yeah. And then they're just, oh, we're using God to do it. And, you know, I don't look like, I don't, I think Bashir, I think Newsom was sort of the same way. We don't look like the kind of freaked out liberal that's normally out there screaming to the camera. Yeah. We're very clean cut. Let's keep this clean cut image. We'll still be the same evil perverts. We just need to do it in a very clean cut fashion. Right. No googly eyes. No horns. No googly eyes. No flames in the background. Right. Yeah. I can see it, though. I see the horns. I see the flames. Just, wow. Yeah. It's about as evil as it gets. We are Red Eye Radio. We'll be right back with more Red Eye Radio with Eric Harley and Gary McNamara. We are Run-Eye Radio. He's Eric Carley, and I'm Gary McNamara. You know, this story really is a few days old. It's something that we have discussed, and it's questions linger over the military strength of Russia. And you and I, we had the figure a couple of weeks ago that was like 1.2 million casualties. And we went, wow, how many are deaths? Right, yeah. And that figure came out here in the last week. We didn't get a chance to talk about it. They believe 320,000. Yeah. That's unbelievable. Soldiers have died. Yeah. And you're talking about a number that's closing in on what the United States lost in World War II. Yeah. Yeah, think about that. And if you make the comparison of the sizes of the countries, the size of Russia, which is roughly 145 million, that was roughly the population of the United States during World War II. So you're talking about every single person knows somebody, just like in World War II, everybody knows somebody who was killed or injured. Right. And you just wonder what the public opinion is to a war like this that hasn't accomplished anything and has been going on for years. Well, and also a generation, you know, when it began that really they were, you know, they didn't see the other nation as as the enemy. You know, they they're not looking at it's like, you know, this is post Cold War. so we don't have a problem with Ukraine. We might have relatives or friends in Ukraine. We don't see them as any different than us. We don't see the whole point. It wasn't like this major rivalry, you know, in terms of an ongoing on-and-off-again war situation. So now, with all the deaths, the morale must be at an all-time low. This is Red Eye Radio on Westwood One. think about the world. Bold truth, real conviction, zero permission.
