In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first-hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible, from backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it, so settle in because today you'll here another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. Hey, Kitchen. How are you? Hey, how are you? Hey, good, man. Feel free to share what you experienced, man. Okay. It'll be pretty brief. I get a little scatterbrained with it. I've not told too many people about this stuff, but about when I was 15 years old in 95, I'm from, are you familiar with the Shenandoah Valley? Yeah, absolutely. Down in Virginia. yeah so i lived in a town uh called winchester and um there was some property behind the place where i grew up as a young child that had about 130 acres it was mostly wooded old world war ii that owned it streams cattle etc and we had permission to hunt it and uh i would go out really early in the morning to go deer hunting get in the woods get in my blind and post up and just wait. And I remember vividly with my best friend, neighborhood friend, it was probably 6.30 a.m. on a bordering property along the stream. I heard something and I looked and I looked through my rifle and I see this dark hairy figure, probably seven and a half, eight feet tall. Standing upright next to a tree. With its arm raised. Up above its shoulder. That probably reached 10 feet high. I told my friend about it. And. He immediately. Wanted to leave. He looked through his scope. He seen what I seen. Very eerie area. Down in the woods. It was like, you know how if you're out in the woods, it'll be, you'll hear birds chirping, things like that. You never heard anything in that little valley section of the bordering property and the property that I hunted. Then I remember the last thing from that particular experience. When he said he wanted to leave, I took a second look and looked again. and just the the way that a bear is is built you know the the body the arms the the whole nine like i ruled out bear immediately because whatever it was i'm assuming it was sasquatch or bigfoot it dropped its arm down while it was standing upright and it stayed there you know it didn't really move much a couple feet within the tree but the arm went down past the waist it was clearly like an arm, like a humanoid arm versus like a bear arm, like a front arm. So that was the first experience that I encountered, right? And it still gives me goosebumps when I talk about it. In 2000, in the year 2001, early 2001, I was fishing with a group of friends on the Shenandoah River which was in Clark County it was probably 12 a.m. 1 a.m. we're catfishing carp fishing and you know it was just what clear cool crisp night and a couple of my friends went down to the river a lot next to where we was all within walking distance you could see one another they had flashlights like I said that's pitch black out, wee hours of the morning. We're catching fish, and all of a sudden, we hear something in the property behind us, alongside of the byway, whatever they call it, that runs along the river. And then a branch got thrown out into the road. This branch was probably eight inches in diameter. every bit of 10 feet long. Okay. The way that it was tossed out in the road was with, it didn't fall out of a tree. It come from the property behind the angle because it slid across the gravel road as it landed. Two people couldn't have thrown that thing with that kind of force to make it slide across that gravel road like that. I remember looking up and seeing my friends, seeing the flashlights moving in our direction because they didn't know what was going on. And then those vocals that you see on TV all the time, something let out a vocal just like those Bigfoot hunters on TV would hear in their episodes. And I don't believe all that stuff that I see on the television, right? But I remember that sound and how it shook me from the inside out like it vibrated through me okay there was 10 of us there and we were huddled up like we were getting ready to call a play in a football game because it scared all of us we left within five minutes of that happening so those are my two accounts pretty straight into it there's some really man that's that's some wild stuff uh i so how long do you did you were you able to see it through the scope in 95 in 95 uh i probably stared at it for a good three or four minutes and conversed with my friend that was hunting with me in the blind gotcha um i mean i stared at it through the gun scope for every bit of that because i wanted to make sure what i was seeing right and i was using a rifle with a a uh 4x12 scope you know could easily make out shape now it was earlier in the morning and you're talking about the woods so there was tree cover that i could say that would make it less dim than if it would be in an open field or something but it was very apparent to me that it was not a black bear gotcha how far away was it probably 175 yards okay so when you're looking at it through the scope for that amount of time were you able to see its face at all no that's the the thing that my friend tried to say it's Like we didn't see the face or the front of it. It was just a bear. So on and so forth. It was standing upright and all I could see was its back and its features. And it was clearly had longer hair than what a, what a bear does. Gotcha. Could you get a feeling as to, or a view as to how long the hair was? Maybe like hanging off the arms or anything like that? So, I hate to say this, but it is very much like what you would see in the old Patterson footage as far as length of hair from arms. Yep. Very much. I believe that that, you know, I don't know. They've tried to debunk that footage and stuff. But what I've seen in the woods, hair-wise, shape-wise, arm length-wise, height-wise, reminds me of the Patterson footage. Okay, gotcha. Did you, I don't think you mentioned this, was there any smell or anything? I did not smell anything. now you know I was 175 yards away after that scenario we had went down in that section and looked around no smell then but it's it freaked me out like I was curious that day because I had distance and it was daylight and I could see and obviously I had a weapon so I wanted to kind of just scout out the scenario and see and maybe see if it would turn and face me So, and we have to be kind of careful what words we use because it's TikTok Live, but when, so you were looking through the scope of your weapon and did at any point you have to decide if you were going to take a shot or not, or was it obvious that you would not want to do that? It crossed my mind. Okay. It probably crossed my mind. solely for the fact not that I'm a uh I hunted for sport but also ate deer okay so for me it was also a food source I did love it I like the the woodsy feel of the the whole thing so for me when the thought crossed my mind to shoot it it was it would have been out of pure I wouldn't say it wouldn't have been a sport thing it would have been proof because nobody has been able to come up with any kind of solid proof that these things exist, right? You have all these accounts and what have you. So, yes, it crossed my mind. Did I? No. I think that's why my friend wanted to leave. I think that he knew that it wasn't a bear as well. And so I lived out in Frederick County just before the Clark County line where this property was. and at Clark County it was much more undeveloped in the 90s than it is now and basically you know something like that could easily traverse the land straight to the river and be unseen through most of Clark County so to me it made sense that that particular couple over 100 and some acres would have sustained something like that for time Oh, absolutely. I mean, there's definitely food sources in that area. Was there a certain thing that happened that made you decide not to pull the trigger? solely because you know I was 15 I don't claim to be an intelligent super intelligent individual but what if it was a bear you know and I would have gotten in trouble for it what if it was some idiot in the woods in a suit you know I mean the only thing that kept me from doing it honestly was my friend saying come on let's go man Oh, wow. Okay. That's wild. Because I was very curious, and I told an older friend that was a few years older than me that grew up in the same neighborhood as me. He was there in the 70s throughout most of my childhood in the 80s and 90s. They knew about this thing. There was talk about the, what did they call it? the hairy hobo is what they said. Really? That's what they called it? Wow. Because they did not want to, nobody wanted to admit what it is or what I seen, you know. But when me and him talked about it, he had briefly told me about different encounters, him and another older guy had there that lived in the neighborhood that I grew up in. And it was kind of like this thing that like only a few people talked about because nobody takes you seriously or a lot of people don't take you seriously when you discuss stuff like this right exactly uh but it needs to be discussed and so i'm glad that you were able to come up and and to share uh that encounter uh more i think more hunters experience things like that than are talking so it it extremely important uh and thank you for coming up and for sharing what your encounter was I appreciate it Thank you Yep Bye Hi there How are you Good. Feel free to share what your experience was. Yeah, I don't know. I was young. My cousin and I, we weren't out there searching for Bigfoot. We decided that, heck, I think I was 19, 20 years old. He was around the same age. We decided to go to the Mark Twain National Forest. We live in Arkansas. We decided to go into the Mark Twain. We knew a guy that knew a guy that had a house that had property that we could literally just do what we wanted into the Mark Twain. It's massive. You can see Branson from where we were at you know and anyway um we were just trying to get off the grid and do something um primitive do something wild we took nothing but um um i think we took two matches just in case and um just certain things we took a tarp and um we built our own shelter anyway we got as far back into this March 20th, we just went into dense forest, up and down, mountains, everything. And we went probably, I don't know how long we walked for, probably two, three hours. We just went as deep, as depth, as far as we could go. And then we had to find a shelter. We found some water. We found a stream. So we were actually drinking the water out of the stream. And that wasn't very smart, but we survived. But anyway, we just had to find, after a couple hours of getting as far in depth we could into that forest, Mark Twain, we needed to find somewhere to shelter. And we found a bear spot. And the Mark Twain, that's hard to find because it's so thick and dense. And so we had a water supply because of the stream and everything. But we didn't want to be so close to water supply because we knew animals might get down there. Anyway, so we went up to the bare spot and we made our camp. We made our own shelter and everything and used that tarp just as a thing. And anyway, we were just kind of just hanging out and around, I say around close to dark. This was about 15 years ago. and I showed so many people this and everybody was like nobody had any explanation for it nobody has any explanation for it and it's one of the most scared honestly it was I was super scared and I've been in the woods I've hunted like the guy I think that was the last one I've been in the woods my whole freaking life and I have never heard the sound and he and my cousin would have been in the woods more than I had it was a I mean it was a and it came off the mountain and then another one and then it started another one started freaking going off over here way over there and we just started to fire and we did with one match like I said we were just primitive and all that stuff started going on and yeah I was so freaking scared. And I looked at my cousin. Like I said, we were. I looked at him going, is this serious? Are we hearing? What kind of animal is that? We started to narrow it down. There's no cattle. We're in the Mark 20 National freaking forest. I mean, dense. We started to narrow it down. There's no cattle. There's no human that's going to be where we're at because we just traveled where no man would. We literally put ties around trees or flags around trees just to be able to get our way back. That's how dense we were getting ourselves into. So I was thinking no one's where we're at. there's no cows for sure there's no what is that and we could not come and I mean the freaking hair would stand up on your freaking neck i was scared freaking crudless and my and i've never been in my life scared like that because you i've been i lived in the woods like that guy your last time and we were so we my cousin went to bed because he was so scared and he left everything up to me to uh maintain the fire i stayed up till three o'clock in the morning with a freaking knife in my hand like i i was And what the wildest part of it, you're in the middle of the whole national forest, and there's no sound. And that's what it made it. Besides that, after all that went away, there was no animal sounds at night. There was no crickets. There was no nothing. There was no movement. There was no nothing. And that made it even creepier. It was like, like I said, it was the creepiest thing I've ever been through in my title. I actually went on BFRO or whatever, and actually in 2011, and wrote a whole script on the whole, and gave them the whole story, the details of the whole thing about it. I wanted them to go out there and go to exactly the spot where I was at, and the Mark Twain. I'm like, if you hear that, I can tell you right now that you're not going to have an explanation for that. You're not going to know what the heck you just heard. Wow. It went on for a couple minutes. Not very long, a few minutes. But you could hear it. It was more than one. It was like there was one bouncing off. You could hear one. Because we're up in the mountains And you could hear like this one over here and that one over there. And like I said, at that time, we had a fire lit. But it was insane. I was free. I'm not scared in the freaking woods. And that made me scared of the freaking woods back there, honestly. My cousin says that doesn't really have an explanation for it. No one does. My goodness. So have you ever been back to that area or is it a thing where you might even go back? It's such a trek to get there. I'm 34, four years old right now. I'm not even sure if I can make it to where we were. We were in the middle. We literally, like I said, when we went to this place, it was just Mark Twain. I mean, just imagine just walking right into Mark Twain National Forest. And you can go as far as you want. That's what we did. We took nothing. And just went as far as we could with limited supplies. We had a couple of tablet pills for water. Didn't use them a couple of times. And we just wanted to go as far as we could. And I honestly think that we might have been where no one man has ever probably stood, to be honest. That's a possibility. Guys, this is Missouri. there's a few people that aren't sure where I know where Mark Twain is because I live in Iowa it is yeah it's crazy yeah yeah wow have you heard of other things happening in that same area yeah a lot of people talk about Mark Twain you know being crazy active around there I mean oh until you hear it until you're there until you are in it and I know it sounds weird but until you put yourself in that situation where you can't identify what in the heck that sound is and you know for dang well that you've I'm from Arkansas I've hunted I've never heard sounds like that that was scary I mean honestly I will say it was freaking honestly very scary and then you think you're crazy you're looking at each other going are you hearing the same thing are we crazy right now are you hearing this so you start questioning And both of you start questioning each other, going, seriously? Is this happening right now? What is that? And we weren't out there to find Bigfoot. That's the thing. We weren't out there. We were just out there. And we got so – and here's my theory on it. Here's my thing on it. I think that we got so deep into the freaking woods that no one else will ever go to. You can't – you'd be stupid to do that. Well, we did. It was like three hours of traveling in the densest part as possible. I don't know how many miles we went through to get to where we were at. and so maybe all i'm saying is is that might be a thing where you don't you don't you don't you have to you have to really get yourself out there i mean because what we did that was and back in the day when i had that freaking recording on my phone it was like 2011 I showed a lot of people that I'm talking grown men I'm talking family friends everybody and everybody was like holy crud that's insane I mean it was a I can't even do it it was weird and back and forth for a couple minutes and I'm saying imagine being there Oh, yeah. The phone doesn't even do the justice of when you're there. I'm not telling you. I was scared. Like, I slept with a knife beside me because we built our own shelter. We built our own shelter, and I was actually scared. I had a knife beside me going, man, I don't know. And like I said, the creepiest part was the whole wood. The woods was silent. There was no birds chirping. there was no birds chirping there was no squirrels it was just completely dead and that made it even creepier oh it's it's the creepiest thing at least you had a knife with you man but but thank you for for coming up and and sharing and uh i've got a few i've talked to a few people from mark twain but it's it's always great to to hear something else from that area you've heard that area too uh i mean more more towards rala do you know where rala is no i don't Oh, yeah, that's it's some wild stuff out there. I can't imagine being in that situation. Shannon, how's it going? Good, Jeremiah. How are you? Hey, doing good. So roughly 25 years ago I was in my early 20s was picking up my girlfriend from her house and she lived down a driveway that was probably 200 yards long So we left her house and her house hit a paved road We turned on the paved road. As soon as my lights hit down the road, there was this 8 to 10 foot, I say being in the road, But it was shaped like a Bigfoot, but it was glowing like a bike reflector. Really? And when my lights hit it, it was just glowing, and it kind of stopped, turned, and looked at us. You know, you couldn't see any features in it. It was just glowing like a bike reflector. And, you know, kind of like we startled it. It looked at us and then took off running through the woods doing about 25 to 30 miles an hour. and uh you know you could see it the whole time just glowing like a bike reflector as it ran through the woods and you know i had me and my um now ex-wife um with me and um both of us seen it just as plain as day uh when we first seen it i floored it because you know i'm one of them people want to get up there and see what it is and then she started screaming and crying and uh so i have kind of had to stop back on that but have you ever heard of any reports of like a big foot that glows um so when you say bike reflector i would imagine it's glowing like it's red is that right yeah like a yellowish red almost oh really okay man i'll tell you what uh i really haven't um i'm trying to think real quick and i don't remember any can you share what area this was in the florida panhandle pensacola florida area really yeah i was not expecting that yeah and it had like long arms like a big, you know, like a Bigfoot, almost shaped like a Bigfoot, but just glowing like a bike reflector. Man, I've had people that said they look purple, but I don't think I've ever had anyone that said they looked like they were glowing. Yeah. That's a new one, man. Yeah. Maybe it was some type of spiritual being or something. Maybe it wasn't a Bigfoot, but that's the first thing I thought of is like, man, that looks like a glowing Bigfoot. That's weird. Oh, that's cool, though. It was weird. So were there stories in that area of other people seeing something like that? Not like that. There's stories of ghosts in that area because there's old graveyards down that road and things of that nature, but no stories of nothing like that. and it makes you wonder i don't think there's any ghost bigfoot it was weird that's for sure oh man i'd add it to the list though there you go yeah definitely awesome well hey thanks for coming up man yes sir you have a good one you too how are you not too bad man how about yourself hey doing great feel free to share what you would like to share tonight sir all right so uh one vivid memory i have i shared with my cousin and we were a pine mushroom picking in the back of my reserve hey and so there's these two mountains and we decided to go on the right side of the creek, which goes under one of the mountains that I last know. And honestly, I started following some footprints and they were pretty large footprints. and I was like, oh, I'm following another person or a bear or something. something and i'm just like hey yo what is that i was like hey cuz look back and he's already like booking it back down this finger ridge right and i'm just like okay what's going on here then I look closer and what I thought at first was a bear because the way it was it was positioned I guess and and you know oops sorry and you know I I looked and I I hit I hit my walking stick on the tree and he's like don't do that and as soon as I did like I saw the back like I literally saw a back straighten out like like you know say if you were like a human like on a log or something right and you're kind of hunched and you hear something behind you well your back's going to straighten and no word of a lie I saw this you know there there's no animal in the world other than us that can you know turn its head and look behind itself and this thing was huge hairy and then when I when I was looking directly saw a face that is almost similar to your background there and okay everything was just telling me that what I'm looking at is not a natural like well what humans should know as animals right this wasn't a bear it wasn't a moose wasn't a deer so what am I looking at and then the and you know and as I was looking at it was just like i was just kind of like mesmerized shocked and then my cousin i could hear my cousin's voice and then he was like we we gotta move and i was like holy crap so we i so i started running down after him and we're we're following his flagging tape all the way out what took us three and a half hours to get up it took us like 45 minutes to get out i bet so we were just booking right and we could hear something behind us and it wasn't making noise but i could hear like there was something definitely trailing us and it was just like like uh we got to one certain point along the the main ridge that we follow in going towards our creek that is behind the village and I just stopped my cousin just I just stopped him and I was like because I smelt something that I've never smelt before and I was just and and I was like hey just wait just wait just wait and he was just like well we we got to keep going and I was like just wait I was like he's on the other side of these of this thicket here I was like I don't know what it is and I don't know if it's gonna let us pass so we waited there and you know my heart's pumping we're sweating bullets and i was just like okay nothing's happened let's keep moving and we moved and i was like hey we're just going by we're going to the creek please and uh you know we got we passed that ticket kept going we're still mortaring we got to where this big hill is right in behind the water treatment plant which is right by our creek and uh we went down it as soon as we got to the to the fence of the water treatment plant which is like a secluded little place right and we got down there and he was like what was that what was that and i was like i don't know man like i don't have the answers right now and then this friggin tree comes rolling down the hill like and we were and you know we started running again and then i was like i just grabbed him and i was like we gotta stop and i just yelled out like hey we're leaving we're gone i was like we're we're we're i don't we're off your mountain stop nothing and we were yeah and then we just walked out out on the road as fast as we could because we were gassed by then man so i i don't know how to say it man but you know let's just say i saw something something something happened that i could not explain and both of us were were present we weren't drunk we weren't on any type of drug so whatever we saw happened in real time right and we don't really talk about it that is that is intense dude um can you can you share the area that happened in that would be northern british columbia i don't want to go any more specific than that yep that's no problem sir yep um i know there's a lot of interesting stuff in northern british columbia so you are fine leaving it there talk to a few people up there so I'm not surprised can you can you say what what year that was okay let me just or round about yeah this would have happened about let's say about 15 years ago okay so oh my goodness so is that like 2011 that's crazy uh 2011 my goodness yeah yeah yeah crazy that is that's 15 years ago um did were you smelling any weird smells when you were in that area uh like i said the weird smell that i smelled is when we when we had to stop when i was going up into there i i don't recall anything but what i do recall is that it was very quiet absolutely absolutely and you know no no bird sounds no no wind there was no like like maybe a tree would groan every once in a while but whatever that was man it just it it just froze me it stunned me to be like okay what is this you know when you are in one of those situations where it's really quiet have you ever had the pressure in your ears go weird too not that i can recall okay interesting i've had it happen once or twice and i i always ask that just to see if it's like some kind of pattern but maybe it's just something that happens to me specifically but and jc you are that's an area that is there's a lot of weirdness going on up there and it's special to hear about something from that area so i appreciate you coming up and sharing man yeah all right man have a good night hey jess how are you doing good sir feel free to share what your experience was jess Well, this happened back in 1990 on the Navajo Reservation out here in northern Arizona. I was working for a non-emergency transport. I was driving a patient to the dialysis center on the reservation. There's a place called Luka Chikui. And I picked a man up there. I left about 2.30 that night. Got to look at you, about close to 3.30. I started heading towards south. There a little place called Upper Greasewood I passed the Upper Greasewood going up the hill And I was going towards Salie Arizona I was traveling with one person in the back. It was a suburban. And I was driving with a full moon, probably in January. And I was driving probably about 55 because I knew there would be livestock on that road. I was just being careful. And out of nowhere, I saw about 13 deers, 25 to 13 deers running on the side of me. And I saw the big buck. He was running in the back. He was trying to protect his flock. And it was a full moon. You could see everything. And we had snow on the ground. I'd say about maybe 10 inches of snow. And I looked back and I saw two Bigfoot. I think one was about probably seven feet tall. The other one was eight feet tall, running after the deer. So I slowed down. I didn't want those deer to cross the path and hit one. My other passenger looked back, too, and he saw it. And he didn't know what it was, but I told him, that's Bigfoot. And he was looking at it, and he told me in Navajo language that they've been talking about that creature up here. And I told him that, yeah, it looks like a Bigfoot. So I kind of slowed down. I had my high beam on, and I kept going, and I slowed. And all of a sudden, the Bigfoot grabbed that buck by the leg. and the other one jumped on top of him. So all I saw was the other one going for the neck and twisting it. And he rassled that big buck down. And all the other deers kept running. And I told the passenger that I need to speed up because I kind of got the chills and I kind of didn't expect that to happen. And I kind of took off about 60 miles an hour trying to get away from them creatures. But it was kind of dark. Both of them looked like they were black. And all they probably was doing, because all the deers, they come off the mountain, they go down to the low elevation. And I think that's what they were doing. and Bigfoot just found out where they were, and he started chasing those deers. Yeah, this happened back in 1990, and I probably was about four or five miles down the road. There's a store there, Salie, Arizona. I pulled over to the store, and I told that man, did you see what I seen, too? He goes, yep. And he was kind of like scared, too. he said it's the first time he's seen one but I seen one before back in 1986 hunting up at Cheska Mountain that's my story right there man this is an incredible story I've never heard an account where there were two of them working together to take down a deer I've heard of people seeing one that takes down a deer multiple times but this is a really unique account where you have the two working together a fantastic story just thank you for yeah for sharing what you saw yeah and i mean their stride was unbelievable probably like close to six feet they were running hard they can tell wow and one the other one the smaller one seven feet tall was like trying to get down low on four, but he didn't. He just got down low and once the big one, reach for it, jump for it, grab that hind leg. The little one had no problem just jumping to the neck and you can see it twisting it. But you can see the eyes, he's glowing because of the light, my headlight. And they were yellow. Both of them were yellow. yellow glowing eyes wow that's wild could could you see a did they have an expression or emotion to their face could you see that at all no it was kind of like i know they were pretty hairy um right yeah i couldn't really but they have faces like i could have seen the faces it's kind of like dark leather skins on. I could see the face. And one had a beard, like a beard, like a man's beard. And the other one didn't have no beard. But it was something awesome I seen back then in 1990. But it kind of like people were talking about that that same winter. There were a lot of sighting in that area. So I don't know. moment that they're out there on a reservation or reservation here on the Navajo. Oh, I mean, I totally agree with you because I get, I've gotten account after account from individuals of the Navajo Nation on, you know, it doesn't matter if it's in New Mexico or the Arizona side. It's just, there's so much that happens in that area. It's a massive area. And But Joey had a good idea. He was theorizing maybe it was an older one teaching a younger one how to hunt. Yeah. You know, it's an interesting idea. Yeah, I kind of knew the big one had, I mean, he was moving quicker than the small one. Oh, sure, yeah. Yeah, and the small one was keeping up, but he was just kind of like maybe three feet away from the big one. but once that Bigfoot grabbed that hind quarter I mean that small one leaped like a probably like 10 feet and grabbed the neck and he can tell you just twist it yeah absolutely my goodness thank you so much for coming up and sharing this this is a very as I said it's a super unique one it's the first time I've heard of a two Bigfoot working together like this.
