Summary

NFL Hall of Famer Antonio Gates discusses his induction journey, the evolution of the tight end position, and ranks today's top tight ends led by Travis Kelce and Darren Waller. The episode also features LA Chargers safety Tony Jefferson discussing the team's Super Bowl potential and current NFL landscape.

Insights
  • Hall of Fame induction timing matters psychologically—Gates' delayed entry (year two) initially stung but ultimately felt more meaningful given the circumstances
  • Consistency and discipline over talent separates elite performers; Gates attributes his all-time TD record to relentless work ethic rather than physical gifts alone
  • Leadership and team cohesion are primary Super Bowl differentiators—the 2024 Chargers' close-game wins build belief that separates contenders from pretenders
  • Cross-sport athlete mindset (Gates' basketball background) transfers competitive edge to football; toughness and mental resilience matter more than position-specific training
  • Tight end position has evolved into a multi-dimensional role requiring blocking, receiving, and run-game impact—no single metric defines elite play anymore

Like didn't skip a beat at all so they're very confident What do you think about that? He did like no station like ever Yeah, what do you think about the Eagles? You know they think I mean they've been proving us wrong for a long time Yeah, and they find a way to get it done every time every I mean Yeah, I mean the ref definitely should have called up fall start that we did it again. Pearl. Yeah, what I love to go fall start Yeah, he's just happy to be there. Yeah, he's happy to be there man Well, he knows they don't call it so why not right? How's your how's your sleeper Pick doing for the year my Rams oh Cowboys that was your sleeper pick ah shit Damn yeah, you're cooked mud bro. Yeah, I'm just happy I didn't draft back. He's just having a bad start I don't think I think Dax could I think they have the worst defensive ever seen I mean losing Michael I think it's your friend Trayvon. No, it's not he's doing great. He's doing great He's doing great can we can we can we cut the Trayvon digs trying to cover Roma Dunes a those bro There's have everyone has bad like it's like all right. It's like a bad podcast. He's having four seven three straight bad podcasts It's just broke. Well, you know, you know he He's having bad games. He's gonna do good bro He's such a nice guy. He works so hard. He's gonna be great. Yeah, no, yeah, but I regret Saying on the show that the Cowboys defense was like two-collevelle in the secondary. Yeah, they're below that They're like they're they're make a wish level. No, they're learning bro I mean leader I think Trayvon's gonna step up in the locker room and you know bring yeah, no, he's doing great so far Well, he's gonna get Congrats. Thanks Trayvon. He's gonna get into it bro I have full hope in him. I know him as a you know as a person as a player. He's very locked in so yeah I actually think that the Cowboys defense being so putrid Makes me think that the Micah Parsons loss wasn't as bad as we thought because I don't think he would change a thing He would they need a lot. He let's he don't need they don't need one defender They need like a corner. They need two safeties. They need a linebacker. That's a plan pretty good teams bro The bears the bears are a they were oh and two before that game. Yeah, but they're good come on bro The bears are okay, but they're not the 1980 Steelers with Lynn Swan and like like bro like what are we doing here? We're lost for a lot nineteen. Luthor burden Luthor burden that had how many yards? I mean he's catching flea flickers How do you let a flea flicker get off in 2025? What do you mean it happens all the time? That was some maddened stuff bro Yeah, bro the games evolve Ben Johnson's like Well, we got the Cowboys. Why don't we just open up the playbook here. Let's try a flea flicker Wide open. Yeah, Trayvon's like trying to jam the receiver with his left hand They can't do it all himself. He can't do anything by himself. I don't think he could guard a high schooler Yo bro, you're talking about the same Trayvon digs that lead you know He's been the worst player in NFL. I've got a lot of I don't have a weird hatred forum. We love Trayvon digs bro Great guy, but we got we something's out of change. He's how about this the Giants yo Trayvon gives up what Trayvon the secondary sorry give up 450 yards or Russell Wilson Yeah, the next week they can't do a thing now. He's benched who Russell Wilson. Yeah, he's Jackson Dart comes in He's got a lot of hate. I'm curious to see what he does. I think he's gonna do good. I want to aura. He does I think it's like the haircut. Yeah, she's on his girl too for W Jackson Dart. He's a goat. Yeah, yeah No, he's him but the bad one too. Perl. Yeah, he's fucking yeah, look at his hair Hey, yeah, no, yeah, he looks aesthetic like he looks like a like you know, and Madden where you make your own play like you create a player And then you don't you play as a quarterback. He's a no he um he got Eli Manning's number like to mentor him Like to help him out and he calls Eli and Eli's like thinking as an ask for like playing advice He goes can you get me dinner reservations? Seriously. Yeah, oh my god probably took a bad one out Shot Jackson Dart. Yeah, I'm excited to see what he does. Yeah, I'm excited. I'm a fan. I'm fan of Lane Kiffin too He's a dog too. Yeah, so you said he Thomas said that he's slitting her DMs Why do girls do that? I don't I think expose like get followed through and make you know I think she should have just dated Lane Kiffin. Yeah, he's really him. Yeah, I mean look look at what he does an offense start of the ball I actually worked for Lane Kiffin doing what you know that I was the youngest Caught division one coaching intern in the country. I was 16 years old. I worked under coach Lane Kiffin and FA Seriously, yeah Wow, why don't you pursue coaching then I was I could have I mean honestly When I speak to Lane indeed, they were like man like if you keep doing this you'll be a lot better than Bella check Oh you would yeah, okay. Yeah, they were thinking I would have won like eight to 10 Super Bowls. I can see their zeblins. Yeah So didn't go down that route. I went down the podcasting route obviously. Yeah, as you can see yeah, yeah So that's all this shit also a lot of people were calling cap that I was with AB Floyd mayor there in jade a kiss and the Miami Heat kind of that was real. That was real. Can we put up the picture? Now we get to talk to a hall of fame, but there is AI and shit nowadays. There is a oh my god And there's Photoshop like we'll never really know, but I guess we could take your word for it, you know Whatever happens. I don't you don't seem like well, you don't you wouldn't lie you are Jewish too, so you're very honest We're known for our honesty. Yeah, not for real. Oh also happy um Russian on us. Russian Jewish New Year. Yes. No one's in the office is bra. I'm trying to like do shit and everyone's thank you Thank you Jewish New Year. What are you doing for the New Year? Shout to my people. I had a beautiful dinner last night. No family. Yeah, I chose to be with you instead of my family So I was with some friends and stuff cool. Do you get gifts for Russia Russian? We did not do gifts, but it was a celebration. It was a happy time. Oh, I'm shout to my aunt and yell and I'm sorry. I couldn't be at home Damn podcasting is more important. Yeah, yeah, it does and that's what I had explained I'm also to all nion's fans out there just because I'm Jewish does not mean I handle nion's day-to-day I wonder they think that yeah, I see I see the tweets and stuff further like this is your Jewish handler Jay handler. Oh my god. Yeah, I run everything. I thought I was just your friend and we do the podcast together But I'm also making all the calls you are and you have a percent and you're just you know just you just rob me bro I can talk about it. Thank you. I'm glad we could give you the platform to really expose this um this yeah, man My family set me up um, so all right, we're about to get Antonio gates on um Let's see. Let's see what you see what we're talking about. Yeah, Hall of Fame our second Hall of Famer that's special. We had to get at least like five More yeah, yeah, I think the fans are gonna be shocked. We're gonna pull off this next month. I'm excited about some talent goes Let's bring him in we are now honored and privileged to welcome on our second Hall of Famer of the season NFL two thousands all decade member 116 career touchdowns Los Angeles charges ring of honor and newest inductee into the pro football Hall of Fame Mr. Antonio Gates It's a great intro And thank you man. Appreciate it. Thank you for coming Yeah, we had to be here man long been a long 2025 after you going to Hall of Fame man Where it's really came to scribe hot things change how your life changed but uh If I had to charge the scribers like heaven on earth man going to the whole fame so I'm happy and I'm happy to be here too Top five day for you ever Probably top day Just because you get a chance to thank all the people you know along the way normally you get us in a space where you always Can praise can praise and I finally got on stage and was able to thank people from high school all way to the professional level And to see everybody right to see everybody in the health and Just to watch it develop and the things uh you wanted to manifest the life to see it come to light Is no better feeling than that man. So I'm uh, I'm very excited. I'm very happy about that Congratulations man. I don't know. I was a random but I was looking at you by the way, even amazing fit on amazing. Yeah No, you came drippy. Yeah, what is your shoe size bro I've never seen that big in my life Oh, you know, these are Louis 14 so crazy Yeah, they comfortable you know nowadays man. They make the big Confucian fact. Yeah, I'm trying to keep my swag too, man. My dog out of 23 or 23 or 23 or do it or so she makes me feel Like I'm getting a little older so I try to keep my swag I feel you're doing a good job. Yeah, no, I got nothing look at me Yeah, look at him. Yeah, it looks like really do what the fuck? What do you mean what you been up to nowadays? What you've been doing? Not man really uh, you know people think you know life changes once you go into the whole of famous doing a sense of You know, obviously you're a hall of the famer but I'm still a dad man still doing the same daddy duties Still with the charges. I guess I would say I become a hall of famed dad now That's about the magnitude of how I see it and uh, no man. I'm just with the charges hanging out doing what I need to do for them Using my time wisely to make you know say the least they're having an amazing season. Yeah, they're amazing For the first time since like 2002 So, man, I can't say enough about how happy we are about to start you think they're legit super bowl contenders They are I think so because you guys think a lot of things and football is based on the leadership right and I believe we got some of the best leadership qualities in Jim Harlow and staff And I think you see it right because when you think about the players I mean you think about the high names the big names we got a few guys, you know the Cleans and the Kenis and the obviously Justin her and Derwin of course, but They play together so well man as a team I think that's the foundation of winning football and you see it You see it in the first two weeks and hopefully they can carry that on throughout the season You are part of so many talented teams. I mean you Philip Rivers the Daniel Talinson like such a dynamic trio um You had so many seasons were like 2010 for example you have the league's best offense leagues best defense last and special teams Right during the aFC with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning You guys just the town was off the charts, but we're unable to get to that superbow mark What do you think is gonna separate this charger team versus those ones? Well, I think it's uh, you know Sometimes it's this the look of the drawing terms of the momentum I really feel like they have a momentum going Uh, like I said it starts with the leadership, which is it's the head coach right starting for the general manager on die And I think they believe I think what you see when you start winning games close games like the last one They just won you start to feel a sense of belief and I think that's the separation when it gets down to the last two minutes of the fourth quarter You believe and you got it. Yeah, you're believing in your teammates. You ain't got it. We got it We've been here before so I guess that's the reinforcement when you actually win those games You talk about that 2010 we were losing those games So it's the reverse psychology you start like man, I hope we pull this one off And so I think they believe and I think that's the most It's like you're just like an aw shock when you View those rosters and like you try to encapsulate the greatness L. T. O'Hallifamour you a Hall of Fame or Philip Rivers should be a future Hall of Famer all in one offense. Yeah I you know, that's what that's the that's the beauty of sports though. You know me I think you take individual talent and you can play some where you want to play some In any relationship team, you know corporation is who works together well Because that's the determined effect. That's why it's the ultimate team sport. We've had the unbelief I mean we've had Playoff Super Bowl runs. We've had moments. Yeah of a Super Bowl team But I believe the continuity of what I see which I just seen Sunday because I was at the game Watching those guys come together and making the plays and keen and making that touchdown catch and guys going down to just and dropping them down And to get the last three points That's the the dynamic that changes you from being a very good team to a Super Bowl champion. Mm-hmm Random question, but who's your favorite team that you ever played with? If you have to pick one I know it's hard, but I'm gonna edit this. No Amen. I hope you edit this great. No You know it man. I grew up with the idea of everybody has their own place You know, I mean like I got spaces of guys that I deal with so We played in a locker room right? I got my locker room dudes that didn't even get in the game Yeah, you know I said yeah guys where I go, but let's play dominoes. Let's play cards Yeah, those guys were different than the guy. Obviously Philip is a guy that I've always had to have the right continuity with that means our Communication level had to be at the all-time high the guy need to call on the phone What you think about this coverage, man? So we have more dialogue naturally. Yeah, because of what we were trying to get accomplished But I got so many dudes man that We went eight together. We wouldn't hung out together. You know I was saying so We together at that moment In eight to like 14 we was just a great group together. It wasn't nobody that I can say stood out We did it we talked about your outfit if you came and you wouldn't prepare it to be drippy We talked about you so you would have got you would have got on you you know So it was just one of those continuity situations where I really don't have a personal favorite. I just got a group of guys And they all showed up for the whole of fame. It says a lot about how we work as teammates. Wow. That's gratifying You were all conference at Kent State. Yeah, yeah at one point you had hoop dreams obviously Ended up being NFL a favor but talk to me about that process coming out of college is you're the only NFL a favor to never play college football I know man You know I'm still rapping my head around it all right to be honest with you. It was a situation where I you know I put most my skin in the game was in the game of basketball So for those who didn't know and some of you some people do know now because the story's been out there But my whole philosophy was that I wanted to go to the NBA I mean you wouldn't have been able to tell me at 21 years old that I wouldn't go into the NBA Since I was in high school. I was on American high school player. I was on American college player I was close to 30 points in high school. I was 20 in college So I just I never all my friends the friendships that I created High School from the Magic Romball Classic to ABCD camps was all basketball So you fast forward it and I go to the NFL right and all of a sudden I'm planning in a field and I'm the only guy That's going straight to locker Like literally I remember being a rookie and I was literally the only guy just all my friends is an NBA or playing overseas or whatever So the concept was just that God's you know What he wants for you Trump's whatever you got going on man, and that's the storyline that I always say Do you still hoop now this man? No, I do not man. I know I don't play Um, and I should play I should play because guys you know, they always give me crap about not You know playing basketball but My body man the game of football is so you know, it takes so much out of you when you play at the level that I was playing at I play with everything bro torn this you know torn hips high-end spray broken ribs you name it You know dislocated toe and so now I mean, I don't even you know my kids actually need to do some I quickly tell them I got 10,000 yards on these legs. I'm about to go grab this So that's the concept I just don't do that no more man. I'm involved with my kids, and I just I watch yeah watch all these You know pale coaches act like they know what they turn about and I just listen You know, yeah, I'm one of them parents. I sit back and I make the observation. I don't I don't dive in I let my son get taught by the right coaches and I just listen I'd be apparent at the games with that makes sense. Yeah, I don't come in. That's the hall of favor Yeah, you know me or the pro football we've all been there You know, you know those parents is all yeah, I'm like I just sit back and when he get home All my daughter gets home from body ball. I just tell him This is what I think you should do to improve. Yeah, and I try to allow them to how they own path man They're good dad man. Yeah, man. Yeah, absolutely man. You made that transition from basketball to football If you had to pick one NBA player today that you think would transition best to the NFL. Who would it be? I will say this man I like tough and anything people always ask me who the best between and I'm gonna get to your point But people always ask me who's the best athlete between the football player and the basketball player and from my experience and plan When you good you good when you tough it's generally the tough kids You know saying no flourish So if you if you plan on a high level in the NBA Because it's more of a mindset than it is anything else So I would think that most of the guys who become all pro Will go to the next level whatever the broad James the I mean, you know, you name it the yonness onto Cooper. I mean, I'd be course, you know like You know the way drape my plays. Yeah I mean, it's so many of them, but the guys that plays And my in my opinion in a space of being tough Those are the guys that make the transition the guys that prevail when things get tough things get rocket. They find the way Those are the guys when I see it in a watch them the guys I think that can make the transition and most of those guys are probably be tight in I even want to watch Steph Curry in smaller. See is I'm sure he can go play defensive backward We see you know, I'm saying yeah, he finds a way right so that's just It's a mindset pretty much that's what I mean when I got to the NFL I just found a way just like I would do in basketball. I would just find a way right and that's the competitive edge That most of them have I'm sure that they can make the transition for someone like LeBron. I mean six foot eight two six the Bass you let like if he made that decision to play in that NFL. I think there were any stopping him I mean he'll be the whole family of rights as a player receiver whatever he was Yeah, it's because it's because you know what things the attributes like I say is the attributes that gets you today in a fail gets you to the NBA But the mindset you're will Mm-hmm the things that you can't test at these combines at these NBA camps those are the things That you've laid out you to make the change in terms of how you are all pro or you are It gives you tear it makes layers and I think LeBron has it. He's the all-time league score He had to have a mindset All right, so he'll take that mindset and play receiver. I know he played receiver high school And I'm sure he'll probably be one of all-time league receivers I you know, I'm saying so I'm sure Jerry Rice can go into court and you know I don't know what he's doing, but he had that mindset so the mentality is even more important than the physicality because it's a formula And ain't what you're doing you know saying if they wanted to do it in business And that's why you see so many people who fall short They become in business and they still become successful because they have what we consider competitive Nature competitive edge and I'll let you allow them to flourish when the time comes I have a question so I'm a streamer and obviously in your career Just they discipline stay motivated like sometimes for me like I was streaming I'm like, you know tomorrow the next day. I'm like I don't want to do it. I'm tired. I can't think of anything I don't want to get up and have to do all this. How do you like stay locked in just in general Man, it's it's tough right so that's what makes the difference I think that's where you see the emotions running when you get to the hall of fame and you up to speaking right or you because what happens is that What success looks like to me as you get tired today you wake up and you get tired tomorrow You get tired again It's like it's the consistency of doing the same things over and over and I think once you start tallying up Weeks after weeks months after months you do a year And that comes all it's like the same thing nothing really changes since we've been a kid You know, I mean myself since I've been a kid. I will say I've been hearing the same thing Work hard. Yeah, right. You know work hard. Yeah, work hard. So it's been happening day in and day out I get the head I get the same noise I get up. I get tired I don't feel like doing this just again And it's kind of like those the same formula like you put into it what you want out of it And I look up and I was in the hall of fame And now when I talk to my kids, I'm saying the same thing and my daddy told me yeah, and so the formula You don't change at the pal. I hit coaches talking to the pal teams. That's the same thing. They sent to the pro teams You know saying yeah, so it's just the same concept is just like you you know you get tired when you want to separate yourself The margin of it is so small. It's really not what you you know what God's blessed all of us to do is the concept of who or what And to take and discipline themselves to a level which is You know unbearable. Yeah, that would be the difference in the streaming world and the podcast world and in a fail In the camera crew world. Yeah, you know, you know, you know, it really don't matter the formula to be successful And I only know that because I changed sports It was like I grew up thinking I'm gonna be in a NFL I didn't grow up thinking about playing football But I took a mindset of what made me successful in basketball because I was only 64 So I would have to I'll work you yeah, and I got to the NFL and I said I'm I work you. Yeah, and I look up and I was starting as a rookie Well, no kind I started as a rookie. I look at all pro year two. It's crazy. And I'm like dang. It's crazy I like I do is just work harder You know saying and I look up and I was in the whole fame and all I really think my distinguished and qualities was the fact that I was willing to work When when times got tough I was willing to work when everybody wanted to go buy and spend their money I was willing to work when everybody said man, we got it I was just willing to work and I look up and I was at the top of the totem pole all time leader and touchdowns in the history of the game And it wasn't by coincidence to me because I knew I had worked It was what was underneath the surface is what nobody can see So I'm pretty proud of that man Everyday very motivated me It's all water under the bridge now, but you list your accolades all time touchdown leader for tight ends 2000s all decade member. I think your resume speaks for itself among all football fans myself included You weren't a first ballot Hall of Famer like many expected you to be to that sting It did it did I didn't I didn't know it was going to hurt as bad as it did But I guess when you get so close to anything You know when you at the door because I mean I made it to the finals So when you get that close I guess it felt like a failure Hmm it felt like I felt it felt like I lost and anytime you do that you really regroup You know what I'm saying and I exactly what I did the following year I knew the same format was coming up and I couldn't you know it was out of my control And so what I did is I became a better person. I said just keep being the best father You're gonna be keep being the best ambassador for the charges. Come to you. That's out of your control And it goes back to the formula again I never stop growing essentially. I was just like man look whatever whatever happened your two is going to happen And finally it happened and I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world The charges playing the Lions my hometown I mean so God had struck you to where I was The last one to come on stage. I was essentially the headliner So it made sense for me year two more so didn't it would have made me year one And like I said I wouldn't change it once you get in man you is water under bridge You ain't thinking about that exactly happy to be yeah Yeah once you're in you're in Did you look to anyone for advice during that time like Lidian Tomlinson or No, you know I normally go back to what I know to be true Is which is what I would say to most people. I just I just stayed being Antonio Gates. Yeah, you know saying I just stayed being myself I knew what I meant to the organization. I knew what I meant to the game football from the standpoint of essentially part of changing the position I didn't want Board Board members to make me feel any less of a person if that makes sense right so I didn't you know Yes, I was disappointed Essentially, but I just you know, I mean I'm just thinking like and what will when you can be the all time leader Some of you don't get me. Yeah, you know, I said that's crazy. I knew sports. I tied in I knew sports so be playing game of basketball me playing basketball me playing game of football and I've just said myself I've scored more points than anybody. Yeah, and what world when you scored the most points you ain't considered the best And nothing like off the field who scored the most runs. Yeah, and that's what who scored most points I mean But what who scored the most touchdowns we create narratives. We put asterisk on stuff But in reality scoring points was always from what I know to be considered a tier one kind of player And so I just let myself you know, I slept on it for a couple of days and I just turned around and I just started being the best version of me again Yeah God's timing. Yes, when you look around the NFL today who are the best tight ends? Who give me your top three Man, I gotta be careful because I got to know a lot of the boys You know y'all got some good questions, man You know, I'm gonna begin some Texas national without Lee when what they see oh Oh, man, I think right now I want to say as a complete tight end and I'm putting the ash you're going it because I want to make it the best with you know kiddos is probably I believe the most important piece To his team any other tight end You know obviously Travis has you know, he's the whole of the family in my opinion too And so he's a big part of what they do in Kansas City But obviously I understand the dynamic of getting older yeah, so but I would still say he has more of an impact still on a game plan Didn't any other tight end and I'm saying that to try to compare it to I think kiddos is the most important piece But I think Travis is probably the most impactful in terms of once you see Kansas City you gotta stop Travis Yeah, you gotta you don't get a plan to maintain him. I think the most talented one is I mean the boy from the and I hate to say this because I'm a charger The kid from the radius super talented. You know, I'm saying so I you know, I mean it's so many layers and I'm saying it to make sure I'm covering my friendships too I think he has the biggest upside. Yeah, so what he did as a rookie He's still growing right, but I still think kiddos have the biggest impact on his team because of what he's capable of doing in a run game So when you take him out it's things that you gotta do and plays we gotta call Specifically because he's not in the game no more And so I would say kiddos and I would say Travis still I did I like the way that got played last night for the Ravens Andrew although you take a lot of slack. Yeah, I like him a lot. I mean, I like a lot of him. I like the porter from the Lions. I like Um, I mean, I like a lot of guys. You know, I like Ingram from Jacksonville. I like Kyle Pits from the Falcons I mean, so those are the most talented ones in my opinion Kyle Pits is probably the most talented one Yeah, he can do so much. What does he need to get him over the heart? Right, that's what I'm saying. So whether or not he plays at a certain level is one thing Yeah, super super talented and I had to chat talk to him when he was at Florida. So He had the same coach that I had Tim Brewster. So he I understand the dynamic of what Tim Brewster has taught him But he I don't know what they're doing in a lot. I don't know if they're using him properly I don't know if he's in the right system So it's a multitude of do is but I would say kiddos if I had to pick one right today I would say kiddos will be first and I still put Travis in the mix because they're a smack factor. Yeah, and um You know between Kyle and you know rate I hate seeing the Raiders So I don't even want to pull it easy good. He's a good guy. You hate the chief too, right? Yeah, not as much as others Not as much as the Raiders I can't like the Raiders, man. The Raiders are the most hated for you. Yeah. Yeah I got a chance to take a picture of ice cube and he had to raise that on oh man Let me get away from you dude for I break out Which is great though. He's great dude obviously. He's icon. Yeah, I'm happy about that. Yeah Far All right. Well, I appreciate you for coming on man. Appreciate him. There's an honor to have you here Thank you for coming out. I appreciate it man. Thanks. What's up guys? Missed exactly welcome back to double coverage now We have the beautiful Olivia joining us to ask us some questions and we have Los Angeles Chargers safety mr. Tony Jefferson on facts. Thanks for coming man. Thank you Got that outfit all men. Look a fly Shout out fact Okay, I'll ask you guys a couple questions about the NFL so War the expert You are the expert. Okay. Okay, let's go. So I will start with neon In your opinion who's the most over overrated player of NFL? Damn Now man, we love the charges bro. We love your charges. I'm a Texans fan. So yeah, so it was a little you know a little Little messy right now Most overrated player shit. I would just honestly every kicker in the league. They're all overrated because They like and other than the charges kicker. No, no, no, no, let me put yeah other than the charges thicker yeah Digger, shout to dicker, shout to dicker, shout to dicker, the kicker, the kicker. Like bro, I want to go in a field and see how hard it is to kick because I just don't get how you can miss a 40 yard feel Go for the game. Yeah, I think it's more mental than anything. Like when it comes to like especially like crunch time, but it's hard, bro. It's kind of like when I watch some kickers like a golf swing. Yeah, like with their leg. Yeah, it's probably really a good game. Yeah, I mean, you do a lot of things. They just have to kick it. Yeah. You have to tackle and cover and read the defense offense. I mean, I get I get the pressure. Yeah, but it's the pressure. I just don't fuck with it. There's more pressure on streaming. I would say Trevor Lawrence for sure. Okay. He's been single handedly ruining our fantasy seasons. Yeah. Yeah. He can't get the ball to Brian Thomas. You need to do this when they're winning, but we're not winning. Yeah. Yeah. Who would you say, Tony? Who do you like to line up against? There's got to be someone that like the media overhypes. I don't really listen to the media. You're a streamer, bro. You're streaming. No, bro. You're not Antonio Gates. I can't say. I feel you. There's definitely some trash. I got to bet it. Who's the most underrated? That's not on the charges. I like that question. Most underrated right now. I would say I got to give a shout out to my boy, Caleb Williams. Like he gets a lot of backlash and stuff. I think like his talent is his arm talent and like what he can do. I think like as the season goes on, he's going to continue to progress. I was a scout for a little bit. So I watched him like heavily and he's beast. Yeah, you were out of the NFL. Yeah, turned scout. Not the long ago. Yeah. Not so like that's crazy. Yeah, I played for the Giants in 22 and then I like I heard. So I was like, I'm just calling quits. I already got 10 push years. And then I was like, all right, let me let me scout, right? Because my GM with the rain was like, we think you could be a good scout. So I did it. And I was like an acupacal. That's crazy, bro. No, I just started working out again. Now I'm back out here. Hell yeah, killing it, bro. Don't be a tonic. I'm crazy. Okay. So Tony, which team made would you not let your daughter date? Be honest. Be honest. Be honest. Be honest. Bro, there's so many. All of them. Pretty much most of them, but I for sure not letting them date. This is due name. Oh, no, I can't do that. Cam heart. Cam heart. Yeah. Anybody whose last name has like something like heart. Yeah. They just have bad intentions. So which team made of yours to think would do best on love Island? Oh, damn. Interesting questions. Did you pick it yourself? Damn. Damn. Bro, he was like, I'd never watched that show where he loved that show. Yeah. And like they came to our practice one day and he was like out there doing the TikTok dances. Oh, shit. He was like, you mean tapping to that stuff for TikTok dances and shit? For me? Yeah. Not at all. Not. You might have to start. Supertime. Not. I already started. You know what I'm saying? The TikTok dances. Oh, the TikTok. Nah. Well, actually, Loki, I got challenged to do the Chris Brown challenge on the dual dance. Oh, my God. I look he might. If you get in the end zone, you might. Yeah. Not for sure, but. I'm a TikTok not yet. I'm a Twitch streamer though. Hey, what's your Twitch? I don't know. My Twitch is T underscore Jeff 23. Hell yeah. She was on love Island. Oh, you were? Yeah. That's why I was a little. No, I was a little like. Oh, how long has it been going? Oh, I did it in Europe. You know? Oh, dang. That's what I said. Straight up. Almost. Oh, no. Yeah. W will live you. W will live. Okay. W will live. W will live. Or lives. All right. Next question. Next question. Next question. Zach, what music artists do you listen to on a game? Oh, like I would say the podcast from a game days. Oh, yeah. I was about to say what the heck. I'm like, almost like a game day. Okay. Straight up. It's my game. I would say Drake. Drake. Drake the whole way. Yeah. Leaks, released. Yeah. Anything by the way. I don't plan that. I don't plan that. I don't plan that. I want to add. It's like, all right. Before a game. What song will turn you up? Like, there's gotta be that one song you play every time. One song. It's a song by Mazzy. Yeah. How does it go? What's his west coast rapper? You want to know that? Yeah, rapping. You're right. You're right. You say you need the job, don't you know you're supposed to come to meet? Am I allowed to curse on you? Yeah, man. Yeah. Nah, never mind, bro. Yeah, try it. You're gonna get the brand deals, man. Yeah, I know. You need McDonald's, man. Shit. Quick 16. I've been working on mine too, so I'm right with you, bro. Yeah, you're ballin'. Amen. I've been watching you, bro. You're gonna do that practice, bro. No, for sure. We're gonna run that, a million percent. Like, run me through like a whole like, like all of us just, we just do like a practice day and like, just push us to the limit. Yeah. No weird shit. You're gonna tap out. No, I'm not, bro. Look at me. You think he's gonna tap out? Yeah. I'll see. Bro, have you seen what I have? You gotta see a picture of our strength coach, and then you'll see. Oh, fuck. He benched like 300. 300 what? Oh, fuck. Fathers. Fucking feathers, bro. I can't bench shit, bro. Well, my top three is Nav, Lil T.J. and Drake. Nav. Yeah, fuck. Yeah, I wonder why. Bro, first brown way to get a pop and bro. Yeah. I love Nav. Shout to Nav. You're probably like a connection. Yeah, I love you, Nav. Is there any brown people in that NFL? When you say brown. Indian, Indian. Indian. Or Pakistanis. I don't think so. There's really no representation anywhere. It's your time, bro. Yeah, bro. I can't wait for this practice, bro. Fuck, man. You gotta be the first brown boy to get a pop and a little bit more. Yeah, for real. Yeah, I might become a kicker. What's the issue with you, Clay? Kicker. Yeah, bro. We should kick field goals. You better kick the hell out of them. A million percent. I got a real problem with kickers. It's not even like a troll. Yeah, we're not allowed to. I'll have Dick or be out there with us. So I have a question to all of you guys. What's one thing about you guys that nobody knows? I will start with Tony. One thing about me that nobody knows. Nobody. Nobody. I really enjoy, like, and don't ask me. Do it by, I'll be singing on my own and shit. Under the shower? No, not even in the shower. Just like, and then. So you are a good singer, then? I think I am, but like, I'm kind of like, spook to do it in front of people. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think so. Yeah. I am. Do you guys have a look like that? Doesn't look like I'd be good. It's like, I'm interrupted. Something's wrong. You can sing a little bit for us. No, no, no. I said don't add it. You're not gonna do it on your own time. Like, like usher vibes or what? Yeah, usher. I like old-school music too, like, you know, Cardinal Santana, like, Maria, Maria. What the hell? You see, remind me of a West Side bro. Are y'all that, you know, you know, you know, that song? How would you think I am? I know. You're like, 21. Yeah. Damn. But that's a classic, bro. I was born in 2002. Where? How old are you? 23. You're 23. I'm 33. That's not even bad, bro. Trey, Trey. Unk. Take home the young everybody calls me. But you're young in the heart, though. Yeah. You're like still move fast and chill. Yeah, yeah. Nah, you're showing the young boys with us up every week. Yeah. That's a fast. It's all up here, bro. It's all up here. Okay, Enzag. How about you? Um, just like, in my free time, like, um, you know, I like through a lot of charity work and, like, save a lot of, like, kittens and orphans and stray animals and stuff. That's great. Yeah, I do that a lot, yeah. What was the foundation that you did, too? Um, because me and him want to just come together and do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to help, bro. Yeah, bro. A lot of them. Um, oh, there's actually two in the account. Okay, yeah. And I don't want to say one, not the other. And, like, I got to show love, you know. Let me know. Yeah, I will. Yeah, would you charge us involved? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Nah, you. Yeah, remember, remember when I let you borrow the lamb truck? Oh, that bro. Yeah, bro. You're welcome, bro. Yeah. Good looking, bro. And, have you guys show love to the animals and to the kids or people who need help? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's important. That's what we do. That's what I do, personally. Yeah, neon doesn't really like them, but yeah. Yeah, the W animals. Yeah, what about you? What's going on about you? No one knows. Pro everything's on the internet, bro. There's not one thing. Yeah, I swear to God. I promise. I've been on since I was 13. There's nothing I know. I know things about you. No one else knows. What? Who is your celebrity crush? Who is your celebrity crush? I was literally... This is a love island shit. Who is your celebrity crush? You are? I was your celebrity crush. I used to be Ruby Rose and I stream with her. I remember that stream. I stream with her like three times a year. No, no. Cool girl. She'd be shaking that shit on camera. NFL players love her, bro. That boss, you know that? NFL players that have talked to me about her is insane, bro. They try to like detect something that you'll set me up with Ruby Rose. Like, bro, I talked to like once every few months. I'm not her best friend. No, she's OD. Right? She is. She's tough. She's fresher. Damn, bro. Yeah. Can I talk to a couple of practice? It's low key. Yeah. Unbiased. Where do you see the season going? Unbiased like... It's impossible. I feel like, no, I just feel like... I don't know if you saw this last game, but like... How we fought back to win. Like, that was... It was pretty special. And then like, the fact that like... We were able to just stay calm, like in those moments. I thought it... Like I said, it builds a lot of character for us. So I feel like any situation that comes out, like any moment in the game, we don't panic. And we're going to need that down the road. Obviously, like, it's very hard to go undefeated, but... Oh yeah. You take it week by week, try to be one another, the end of the week. I think we could go as far as we want to go. And we want to be playing this Amphorosis go... Come 20 times. Oh, it's the same physical as... Yeah, cool. Yeah. That's the vet mentality, though, for sure. Y'all are on three, though. Wow, I didn't know, man. Yeah, fuck you. Yeah, of course I knew that, bro. I watch every game. It's pretty shit season, bro, but I mean, that's... Tough to watch, right? At least we won last season. It's a long season, bro. I guess, yeah. There's three in a row. Yeah, I mean... You know what, bro? Now that I know you, you know, we're going to be friends and shit, so now I'm going to cheer for the chargers. Before I didn't want to, but now I know... You talk a lot of trash. We're in a lot of games. Huh? You talk a lot of trash after the playoff. Yeah, because the Texans, I mean, if we play y'all, then it's smoke, you know? Yeah, yeah. But we do play y'all. Oh, win. I'm there. I'm there. I'm there. I think it's like week 14. You're going to see me. Front row in the crowd. I'm going to be screaming your name, man. Pulled up, bro. I'm pulling up, for sure. You're going to root for the Texans, like, in front of the... Yeah, but I'll have his jersey on so like, it's... Oh, okay. I don't want to be... I don't want to be leaving the shit. Yeah, yeah. I got to pull it up. I got to pull it up. That's love. For shit, bro. Appreciate you for coming on. Appreciate you for... Thank you. ...for moderating. Oh, Liz. Watch out for that straight chat coming soon. Yeah, a stream coming soon. At the bolt. Me, Neon, Dicker. You coming soon. I'm coming to. Yeah, miss exact. A lift. You slide. A lift. I'm sliding. I'm sliding. I live in the light. All right. We're pulling up. All right. That's going to be lit. Now we've got the mybookie.ag segment of the week. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. We've got the mybookie. I think I'll take the outline. I think I'll take the outline. I think I'll take the outline. I don't know. It just doesn't feel the same watch in the bro. It doesn't feel like I'm seeing the same homes. It just doesn't feel right. I don't know. What's the Oscar? What's the Oscar? So Ravens are minus two and a half. I think the Ravens bounce back, bro. Yeah. After losing to the Lions, which I said would happen, you know the fuck, man. I just knew it. Yeah. But I'll take Ravens. Ravens. Yeah, man. I'm bro, Derek Henry in the fumbles. He's a monster game. I'm telling you, like 150 plus yards, at least, he has to. Yeah. He's a monster game. Yeah. He's a monster game. Yeah, 150 plus yards, at least, he has to. Yeah. He's out of bounce back. Yeah. He's for sure has to bounce back. But you can tease the chiefs, get them to eight and a half and then bounce that total down like 42 and a half. That's what I'm going to do. Okay. That'll be my pick. Yeah. Chiefs over teaser. Well, see what happens. Yeah, I think they'll keep it close. But you're right about the chiefs, man. This is the worst they've ever started this season in the Mahomes era. What is it though? Like, why is it like, why do they not look like this? They need worthy back. He's going to come back this week. Yeah. They need juice. No rice, no worthy. There's also a game, right? Yeah. Kelsey is washed. He hasn't been playing too bad, right? He's rough to walk. Bro, he took out his own teammate. That's the reason why they can't win. That was accident though. It's a football play. I know, but like, you can run your own route. Stop it. He dropped a second week. The second week, he drops the ball. But you brought your dog to set. Yeah. Did you ask if you could have her on your... Yeah, if we, you know, I'll pay the fine. It's all right. But I just got separation. Yeah, she's like running straight into the mic. Yeah. I'm like, Clip and Mario. No, not to. You want to say something? All right. She did it. Shout out. Yeah. Shout out to Oreo. We'll see who wins, bro. I've been on fire. Like, I think you should be the streamer. I should be the better. I've been on fire. Bro. Is that the worst thing to tell a better? Bro, you picked the Texans to win the win in the first week. No. You picked the Cowboys as your sleeper team. You picked the Texans to beat the Rams. Like, I'm not trying to go into the past. But it's about last week. I don't know. Whenever you have a downfall, I don't dwell on it. That's true. I hype you up. But you're winning too. I know. But I like to bring you up. And you like to bring me down, man. No, you know what? I'm sorry. Thank you. And let's just transition to the drip check so you can bring me down. Go ahead. You know, we still Cowboys Packers. Oh, that came of the week. Micah returns to Dallas, bro. I'm just streaming on Sunday. Oh, my God. That's a crazy packer. Mine is six and a half. Total 47 and a half. Bro, I think the Cowboys cover set plus 7 and a half. These are some dumb picks, aren't they? No, I don't know. No. Well, see, but then I fell as like the wacky. There's block kicks every single game. I know. I know. Like it's been the most unpredictable. I think it's ever been the Cowboys, man. No defense. CDs out, bro. Oh, he's out. Tyler. Or Booker is out. Cooper Beebe's out. Cooper Beebe. Dude, they're center. They're center in the right guard. All right. Those are big losses, though. I think the past. Last week, the Chiefs from minus six and a half. I took the minus four. I'm going to do the same thing here. I'm going to take Packers minus four. Okay. Everyone's, you know, saying the Packers are gassing them up crazy. Jordan Love, like that. But they lost the Browns. Yeah. Led by Joe Flacco. Yeah, bro. Shared. Blow that game, bro. Yeah. Oh my God. Brutal. That was bad. That was bad. But the Cowboys without CD without Booker. Man, a Blanz been hurt. Digs can't come right in. Pickins got stuck up. Yeah, pickins got stuck up for sure. We'll see. No dumb penalties. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to transition to the drip check, man. I'm ready. All right. You all go first. Yes, sir. Yo, got the baton today. Fill me. Match the LA hat. Went platinum on him. Second platinum. You know, fill me. The custom Kobe jeans. Shout to my stylist Fuzz. He picked these up for me at ComplexCon. One of five or something. Tatum has none of the other pairs. Oh, those depends your time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tatum be rocking them for the games. And then I got the Lightning Fours. Just, you know, came through light today. You know, chilling. Yes, sir. Yo. Three pants I got when I was streaming the Igui. Some company just gave it to me randomly. A Mary Slides. Good fellow. Good fellow. Good will. Good fellow. Good will. Good fellow. Good fellow. Good fellow. Yeah. Best shit. You just buy these. You just don't wear them again. You just throw them away and just keep buying them. That's my watch. Oh, that's actually a nice watch. Daytona Media, right? Shout out. Yeah.
