We are back with Katie Asher co-author of The Book of Heaven, a story of hope for the outcasts, the broken and those who lost faith, written with her non-speaking autistic son Houston. We were talking about his mathematical acumen. And just before the break, you wanted to sort of give us another indication of his incredible intellect. And then I want to get into his spiritual insights. But what was it before even the mathematics that struck you? He had a photographic memory. He was spelling out the whole declaration of independence. I had run out of lessons and so I was like, okay, well, this day in history and it was right around, you know, July 4th. So I just was like, do you know the name or the, you know, the famous phrase from the declaration of independence? And he starts spelling out the whole thing. And I was like, and then I said, what else do you know? And he said, the getty's for a good dress. So I have it on video. And I'm like, okay, like where on earth is this information coming from? And that was my real question is I said, how do you know so much? And I was asking him all kinds of questions also about like what is his knowledge about these documents? Does he know what they mean? Does he understand them conceptually? Does he know why they came about? What inspired them? And he knew more than I knew. And so when I start asking him, like, how do you know all of this? Where is this information coming from? And he spelled, I am special. And I'm like being a mom, right? And I'm like, of course you are. Still, I wasn't getting it. I'm sure he was rolling his eyes. But he said, I can hear thoughts. I can hear thoughts. I can hear thoughts. And I didn't know what to do with that statement because it seems like a completely impossible statement. Number one, unreal. And my very first question was, are you lying? Because it just seemed like an impossible statement, something that no one could do or prove. And so I started proving him. And his response to me asking if he was lying was, you don't get the kind of gifts that I have if you lie. And I was deeply humbled. I mean, how offensive here, my son is finally communicating. And I ask if he's lying. It also demonstrates where we've kind of gotten society, you know, where we never believe people anymore. And, you know, it's all like doubt has been raised up as like the epitome of intelligence is. And the more people doubt, the more skeptical, the more they believe, the more they're considered intelligent. And that was something I recognize later on, but I was still in that place of doubt. So my very first reaction was to test, right? To test this. Sure. It's understandable. It's understandable. When did Houston begin describing spiritual experiences? Exactly how it started was him telling me that he could hear thoughts. And then me testing if he could, if he really could hear my thoughts. And he not only could he tell me what I was thinking, but then when I asked him a question without speaking, he answered the question with no words, no physical words ever being shared, no speech at all by anyone. And telepathic communication. Yes, telepathic communication. And that's what we have to realize is that that is spiritual. That is the spirit, hearing, and the spirit, communicating. That's what that is. And what I began to realize very quickly is that thought is energy. And it behaves by the laws of energy and the very first being the law of conservation, which says that energy can neither be created or destroyed on transferred. And so that's what's really happening. And so I start pressing into this and like, where is this coming from? And he was really reticent to share everything that he was experiencing, almost as if I had to prove that I could be trusted with what he wanted to share with me. And the very first recognition that there was more spiritual going on than I realized was whenever I'm so want to give me these stones, these gemstones. And it was a piece of Jasper and Carnillion and human type. And she had like prayed a prayer out of acts over these stones. Now you have to understand I'm presbyterian. And so we are like the most materialist of all the Protestant denominations. And we don't like we don't go near woo woo stuff like that is not okay at all. You know, we're very Calvinist and that's kind of just like we push all spiritual experiences aside. And because we're too we're too learned we're too arrogant to smart to believe in in the mystical. And so she hands me these stones. And I'm like, what am I supposed to do with them? And I I describe it in the book. I said I received them the way that you would receive a joint at a party. You were supposed to be grateful, but you didn't know what to do with it, right? And that's how I felt. And so she said just read about them, whatever feels right to you. And so I took them home. And I got in the in the tub to take a bath. And I got out my phone to look up these stones and see what they were and they were sitting beside me. She's been burst through two doors. And he starts and he doesn't have much speech at all. And he starts saying stone, stone, stones. And I'm like, what? And I kept telling him leave and he would not leave without the stones. So I gave him the stones and after I got out of the the tub, I went into his room. And he was lined. He had them lined up on his his bedside table. And he was lying as close to it as possible. And I said, what's going on here? And he sat straight up and he said, bell, when you're autistic, you're a magnet for all energy, good and bad. These stones have good energy. I need more good energy. And I'm like, what do you mean energy? And so, and where's the bad energy? And he starts pointing out everything in our home that has bad energy. And this is the beginning of me realizing that everything comes from spirit. Everything is first spirit before it is matter. Spirit is actually what creates matter. And like, so for example, a table or a chair, we think that the real thing is like a table or a chair. But the real question is, what was that table or chair before it was that thing? And the reality is it was a thought. It was an idea. And the thoughts and the ideas are actually what create and bring things into form. And if no one had ever had the thought of a table or a chair, it wouldn't exist. And what my son is experiencing is that reality that there is spirit. Everything matter is spirit. And what E equals MC squared means is that energy and matter are the same thing just measured in different ways. In fact, matter is the slowest, most densest form energy. Correct. Yeah. And I know you're going to want some after here and this. This is an amazing story. We've got Stephen and Malachi Gregory in Nelson, New Zealand. I understand that Malachi, who is eight, almost nine years old now, was suffering with not just one or two warts, but I mean a significant outbreak of warts all over his body. So significant. It impacted his ability to really function. Yeah. He was having trouble even holding a pencil to write at this Thai book actually that they got me thinking about it. I'm not surprised. It is an amazing immunomodulator. And so I can see that it would work. And so at what point did you see that there was actually improvement? It's really going to work. Well, we really started to notice it around 12 weeks. You can see these things actually getting smaller and smaller and then going down to where they're just little red marks. The whole things are gone. And we're talking about once, you know, one the size of the water. I thought no way that's going to. Wow. It's just been miraculous to see him get into a pure of shoes. Yes. How wonderful. It's great to see him so happy and confident. Absolutely wonderful. Every incident has seen it. That has blown away. Thai, this is awesome. Yeah, this is awesome. And that was the first, like, like him being able to experience the energy on these stones. And he starts explaining that. And at this point, whenever I became... Whenever I was open to his explanation, I started getting back into God's word. Because it said, I told my friend about it. And she said, don't you remember that Christ said, if they don't praise me, that the very stones will rise up to praise me? And he was waiting for me to be back to being open, opening that door back up to belief and faith. And when I did, that's when he began to share. And he would share little bits at a time. And then more and more and more. As I... As he realized that he could trust me with the information. But he explained not just that he could hear thoughts and feel everyone's feelings, but that he could... He talked about his cover. His... And I was like, who's that? And he described Esther. And he starts describing her. And I realized that this is my great aunt. And she's with him. And then he starts describing... Like visions that he's having. And I'm realizing he's actually describing scriptures that he's never read. And he's never looked in a Bible. You've never read the Bible to him? No. Did you ever mention your great... His great aunt Esther to him? She died when I was eight years old. I never talked about her ever. And she was my... My grandmother's identical twin sisters. So she was very special to me because my grandmother died before I was born. But I never spoke about her. Because she wasn't there. My kids didn't know her. And I certainly didn't talk about her to Houston because I didn't talk about him... Anything with him. And his spiritual instruction consisted of me not realizing he knew anything. And so all I would say to him was... So basic. But Jesus is God's Son. Jesus died for you. Jesus loves you. Jesus is King. That was it. That was all I taught him. And then suddenly he is what? Quoting passages in the Bible? Yes. He's describing them very specifically. He was describing the narrow road and the road to destruction in Matthew 7. He was describing Christ on his throne. He was describing the road. He was actually described in revelations. He was describing... He talked about how the angels of children always see the face of God first. That's actually in the Bible. It's a very strange, you know, small verse. But that's actually in the Bible. Extraordinary details of heaven that match Scripture. And I did a very good job in our book of chronicling the actual Scripture that matched what Houston was describing. Did you ask him where he was getting this information from? He said he'd seen it. And that he'd gone there. And he described the first time... Gone to heaven, you mean? When you say seen it, he went to heaven. Yes. And he described the first time and he talked about taking walks at night. Because of that loose connection to his physical body, he was leaving his body and going... Being able to... Basically, it's like translation. Being able to move out of your body to experience another realm. And then coming back to your body. And this is why I describe it like people who've had near death experiences, except that he's been having it for 29 years. And there's a story I think in the book where you went for a walk with him. And there was another woman in the park who was walking her dog. Yes. And the dog ran up to your son. Tell that story. Oh my goodness. So dogs are obsessed with Houston. And I mean, they absolutely cannot get enough of him. And when he was little, they were of course bigger than him. And they would like jump on him and they were obsessed. And I was always like, you know, get the dogs away from him. Because I just... I thought they were attacking him. But really, they... They just adored him. And this one time, this dog would not get off of them. And I said, what is going on? And he said he spelled... He knows that I'm someone close to God. And then another time we were in the park. And we would see this woman walking her dog. And the dog would always chase after Houston barking. And it was one of those little toy dogs, like the little miniature ones. Right. And this one particular day in the park, I was so just like, okay, what is going on with this dog? So I stopped. And the dog was going nuts. And the woman was on the phone. And she comes over after she kissed off the phone. And she goes, okay, what is it? What is going on with my dog and you? And she looks down. And the dog is barking like crazy. Then growling. But then wagging its tail like it was the most excited it had ever been in his life. And so she picks... Or actually before that. And so I'm spelling with Houston. And he's talking to the woman. And then we looked down. And the dog had taken his head and put his head on the ground, taking his paws, put his paws over his head. And his little tail was up in the... Or his bottom was up in the air and his tail tucked in his arms, like... Or his little legs, right? And he was bowing. He was bowing. And... Too much. What is going on? Right. She picks the dog up and the dog is trembling. And I finally, I was accused in what is going on. And he said, he said, it's my angels. And I said, well, what is the dog singing? And he said, well, my angels are 10 feet tall. And their wings are that wide as well. The dogs are the angels. The dogs are the angels. Yeah. He has experiences like that with animals a lot.
