Summary

Emma Chamberlain explores whether astrology is real after experiencing a series of technology glitches that coincided with Mercury retrograde. She analyzes her birth chart across multiple astrological platforms, finding surprisingly accurate personality descriptions that challenge her initial skepticism about astrology as pseudoscience.

Insights
  • Personal anecdotal experiences can create compelling narratives that feel validating even when alternative explanations exist, demonstrating the psychological appeal of astrology
  • Astrology readings use sufficiently vague language that allows individuals to project their own experiences onto the descriptions, creating a sense of accuracy
  • The entertainment and emotional value of astrology may be independent of its scientific validity—it can provide comfort and self-reflection regardless of empirical proof
  • Generational placement in astrology (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) is less personally relevant than individual placements, suggesting astrology's utility varies by application
  • Curiosity-driven exploration of belief systems can lead to genuine engagement even among skeptics when presented with specific, relatable information

November 10th started as a normal day. I woke up, I went downstairs, I made myself a hot latte. It's that time of year, you know. It's a little chilly out, made myself a hot latte. Sat and drank it peacefully. Then put on my running shoes with my pajamas, grabbed my iPad, and got on my treadmill. I like to walk and work. It's a very weird visual to see me at like 7.30 in the morning. In my pajamas still, with my running shoes on, walking at like 2.5 miles per hour on my treadmill with the iPad open, like writing notes. It's very weird, it's a weird visual. But this is my life, okay? Grab my iPad, get on the treadmill, and open my document app, okay? I have a very specific app that I use for writing notes, writing podcast outlines, in organizing my life. I open up that app that I open up every single day, and immediately I notice that something's off. The app is glitchy. I'm typing, and as I'm typing, the words aren't showing up on the screen. I was like, what? And then I was trying to copy and paste things around this document, and I would like copy, and then I would go to paste, and it wasn't pasting. I was like, this is so weird. I use this app every day. What's going on? So I close out of the app, and I was like, okay, I'm gonna work on something else for a little bit. Maybe that'll resolve itself, I guess. That was my mindset. So I went on Pinterest, another app that I'm on constantly. And I went on there because I needed to look up some fashion references for a podcast episode. And so I go on Pinterest, and I start searching up what I need to search up. Pinterest isn't working. I looked up very specific keywords, and when I pressed enter, it didn't pull up any images that related to what I looked up. And I was like, that's so weird, that's never happened. So then I was like, okay, something's off. So I restart my iPad, and I try everything all over again, and it's still not working. And so I was like, okay, this is so weird. So I go on my phone, and everything seems to be working normally on my phone. So I was like, okay, it must be the iPad. So I was like, you know what? I don't know what's going on, this is very weird. Let me just go on my laptop. I'm just gonna sit at my dining room table and work on my laptop for a little bit. My laptop is too big to put on the little stand on my treadmill. So I was like, you know what? I don't need to walk right now, it's fine. I'll sit, and I'll get some work done. I briefly interrupt this episode to let you know that this episode is brought to you by Hotels.com. Make your next trip work for you. Hotels.com's new Save Your Way feature lets you choose between instant savings now or banking rewards for later. Save Your Way is available to loyalty members in the US and UK on Hotels with Member Prices. Other terms apply, see site for details. Now back to the episode. So I'm working on my laptop, it's working fine. And then I go on another website that I frequent often, which is a copyright free image library that I use to insert images into the video versions of my podcast episodes. And then that website was glitching on my computer now. And I was like, what's happening? Like, why is nothing working today? And I was like, is it my wifi? So I like check my wifi, everything's normal with my wifi. At this point, it's time to leave for my yoga class. So I get in the car and I map to my yoga class. I know how to get there, but I like to see how long it's gonna take with traffic if the road is closed, there's construction, whatever. Cause that happens a lot in Los Angeles. And the maps app isn't working on my phone. And I was like, what is happening? What is happening? I kept pressing like go, you know? And it wouldn't show up on the screen. It would just like have a loading thing. And I was like, what? And at this point, I'm like, something's off. Something's really off. And I was like, what could it be? What is it? Like, is it the cell towers? Is it wifi? Like what is, but I wasn't connected to wifi when I was mapping. So I was like, it must be the cell towers is something off. And then I was like, I don't even know if I believe in this, but is Mercury in retrograde? Because I've heard of people who are really into astrology talk about how during Mercury retrograde, weird stuff starts to happen with technology. Like everything starts glitching for no reason. And I was like, there's no way. Like I bet I'm to Google it. And it's like not gonna be the case. I Google it. And Mercury retrograde had started the day before. And I was like, wait, what? Wait, did I just feel and experience Mercury in retrograde? No. At first I was like, okay, I'm just gonna ignore this. Like this must be just a coincidence. I don't know enough about this. My vague understanding of astrology is that it's pseudoscience, it's not real. It's kinda, you know, there's no evidence to it. Or not that it's not real. Actually, I shouldn't say that, but that it's considered to be a pseudoscience. It's not rooted in real science. There's nothing, like it hasn't been proven to be accurate. And so, you know, it should be taken with a grain of salt. I was like, maybe it's a coincidence. I get home later that day and I sit down and I record a podcast and it all goes to shit. I have all these technical difficulties. My camera is not focusing on my face, which has been an issue before with my particular camera. Sometimes it has like weird focus glitchy issues. And I don't catch it and it ruins the video footage. But it was weird because that hadn't happened in like months. And so it was odd. And then also I literally could not communicate. Like I just couldn't talk. And again, like could all of this have been one big coincidence? Maybe, but it really piqued my interest, really sparked my interest about astrology. Because I was like, why are all of these weird things going on? How did I sense that Mercury was in retrograde? Like how is this even, like is this all one big coincidence? Or am I actually feeling something real? Because it was interesting that before I knew Mercury was in retrograde, I felt it. And then after I like tried to forget about it and it didn't seem to resolve itself. Like it continued. Now, as I'm recording this, Mercury is still in retrograde. And I'm able to speak clearly. The technical difficulties have resolved. But still, that day stuck in my mind. And it made me want to revisit astrology. And I say revisit astrology because when I was younger, I kind of got into it. I don't really remember how into it I was. But I remember I downloaded the app CoStar, which is like a popular, trendy astrology app. I remember it being somewhat controversial, even at the time, like people were like, this is not an accurate app. And then some people were like, this is the best app. It knows everything. I had that app. I would read my horoscope. And then during my first breakup, I got into watching astrology readings for my sign, which is Gemini. I got into like readings of my horoscope on like a weekly basis. I found a few YouTube channels that were doing astrology readings. And it gave me a sense of peace during that first breakup when I was so broken, so broken. And so that gave me a sense of peace. And at that time, it felt so real. Like everything that these random astrologist YouTubers were saying, I was like, oh my God, this is exactly what was happening. And I was also watching the readings of my ex's zodiac sign. So I was like, I was deep into it for a bit. And, you know, it was during a time of sort of desperation, but it felt real. And then from there, I just kind of lost touch with it. And regardless of how my opinions of astrology have changed over the years, I've always kind of found it interesting. And I've always resonated with being a Gemini. Like I feel like the vague understanding that I have of Gemini traits do actually resonate with me. Like there's this sort of idea that Gemini's are sort of two-faced, which sounds like a negative thing, but as I've grown older and heard that Gemini stereotype repeated over and over again, I've actually kind of started to see maybe where I could be two-faced. Not in a diabolical way, not in an evil way, not in a mean way, but more in a way where I am really good at masking negative feelings towards people. So like, I want everyone to feel happy and comfortable whether I like them or not. And I'm very good at being very nice and sort of masking how I truly feel about somebody. I might not like somebody, but they probably don't know, you know, because I'm very good at hiding that. And I don't think that that's a negative thing at all. I actually think that's a great social skill to have to make everyone feel safe and comfortable, even if deep down, maybe I'm not a big fan of somebody for them to think that I like them, like that's fine. You know, I don't think that that's wrong. And, you know, also like another trait of Gemini would be outgoing, talkative, social, creative. I feel like all those things resonate with me. I have a podcast, I talk a lot. I'm pretty outgoing, less as I've gotten older, but I'm pretty outgoing in general, pretty social. I mean, again, less so as I've gotten older, but even though I am a homebody, like when I'm out, I show up. But then again, it's like, when it comes to the traits of certain astrological signs, it's like, are these just traits that everybody has somewhere in them? You know, I don't know. It's kind of hard to say. So my opinions on astrology have been kind of all over the map and like, I don't really know how I feel about it. So today I wanted to dig in to astrology and see what I find. So to start, I want to understand what astrology actually is, because I think we're all like, sort of aware of what it is. It's like, depending on your birthday, you have a certain astrological sign, and that means certain things about you. There's Gemini and Scorpio and Pisces and Sagittarius. And you know, whatever. And everybody, depending on their birthday, has that. And then if you dig into it deeper, there's like, there's rising signs and moon signs, whatever, it's very complicated. I think we all have a vague understanding, but I personally wanted to dig into what it actually is. So according to the internet, astrology is a pseudoscience, which is a collection of beliefs, claims or practices presented as scientific, but that do not adhere to the scientific method and standards based on the belief that the movements and positions of the planets in relation to the constellations of the zodiac influence the lives of individuals in the course of events. So that's like, what is the zodiac? I don't really know. Well, actually, okay. According to the internet, the zodiac is an imaginary belt in the sky divided into 12 signs, constellations, through which the sun, moon and planets appear to move. Each sign is associated with specific personality traits and attributes. Horoscope slash birth charts are a general component of many astrological systems in the creation of a horoscope or natal chart, which is a map of the sky at the exact moment in location of a person's birth. Astrologers interpret the positions of celestial bodies within the signs of the zodiac and houses. Our 12 spatial divisions of the sky to gain insight into an individual's personality, relationships and potential future events. Astrologers believe that each planet represents a basic driver impulse in the human psyche and its position in the zodiac at birth influences how these energies manifest in a person's life. I'm confused already, to be honest, I don't really get it. So I think what we need to do now is dig into my personal birth chart, not just like my astrological sign, but my entire birth chart based on my birthday, the time I was born and where I was born and read what it says about me, my birth chart, and then I will analyze my birth chart with you and together we'll decide if it's accurate. Okay, that's what we're gonna do. Because the actual, what astrology is, is too complicated for me to understand. And scientists have already deemed it to be a pseudoscience. So I don't even wanna dig into how they determine like what traits go where because of the Jupiter is here. Like it's too much. So let's just read my birth chart and see how accurate it is. And through that, I can form my own personal opinions on astrology. That's what I wanna do. And that's what we're gonna do. So I went online and I had a birth chart made on a few different websites, mainly AstroSeq and CoStar, both free. So like, let's all take this with a grain of salt. Okay, these are free. And I did research and it seems like every free astrology site is kind of iffy. People have mixed opinions about them. So, but this is like where most people are getting their information. So I thought I might as well go there and let's dig in to what it has to say about me. Okay, so starting with my main sign, which is my son's sign, Gemini, as we know. Let's dig into what that means about me. The sun determines your ego, identity and role in life. It's the core of who you are. Gemini represents two different personalities in one and you will never be sure which one you will face. As I mentioned earlier, I do think I'm good at presenting myself in the way that I deem most appropriate for a situation in a way that I think feels authentic when maybe perhaps I'm maybe being extra nice when maybe I don't like a certain person. And again, I don't think that that's a bad thing. It's not rooted in evil. I don't use it to manipulate people. I hope, I don't think I do. I mean, I guess in a way, I think it's positive manipulation. I want people to feel safe and comfortable with me and I don't want people to feel like I don't like them because what good does that do? I think that this trait mainly shows itself with people that I'm not close with. Like people that I'm close with, I think see the true me all the time and if I'm upset with them or something, I will show that and say that. But with people I'm not super close with, you know, acquaintances, friends of friends, people I work with, I think at times it's appropriate to manage and control what energy you're showing, what version of yourself you're showing to make sure that they feel safe and comfortable and not like the vibes are bad, you know? So I think that one's pretty accurate. Okay, moving on, next trait. Sociable, communicative and ready for fun with a tendency to suddenly get serious, thoughtful and restless. That also feels accurate. I do think I have a pretty stark duality and I've found that in my closest relationships, this is very clear. Like we can be laughing and being silly one minute and be having a really deep existential conversation the next. I definitely do that. So that also feels accurate, moving on. Gemini's are fascinated with the world itself, extremely curious with a constant feeling that there is not enough time to experience everything that Gemini's wanna see. I would say that that's true. I do feel often this like overwhelmed sense of like there's not enough time in the day to do everything that I wanna do. That feels accurate. Moving on, Gemini's are intelligent, expressive and quick-witted. I mean, it might be narcissistic to say, but I think so. I think I'm somewhat intelligent. Some people disagree. And I've seen the TikToks calling me dumb. I haven't seen one of those in a while though, hoping that they don't come back in style to make those. Expressive, I think I'm definitely an expressive person. I think that my forehead lines and my smile lines around my mouth are proof of that. I also talk with my hands. I also like make big facial expressions. In fact, I actually recently noticed something that I do in conversation. When someone's telling me something, even if it's not that wild, my mouth is always a gape. Why? Like I'm like, my jaw is always on the floor when someone's telling me something. Even if they're like, I went to lunch today. I'm like, what? It's like, that's why. I don't know why I do that. So I am definitely expressive and quick-witted. I would say I'm quick-witted. I can come up with a joke pretty quick. Moving on, this is very complimentary so far. I'm like waiting for it to get into some of my thoughts. Get into some of my shortcomings. Gemini's are talented and able to use skills in both theory and practice. I think that's pretty, I mean, that's nice. I mean, yeah, I think I would like to believe that I'm talented and can use my skills in both theory and practice. I think that's true. I think that's true. I think I execute well. And yeah, okay. Gemini's are quick to adapt, comfortable anywhere in the world and in any situation. Yeah, I'm very adaptable, definitely adaptable. Would I say I'm comfortable anywhere in the world and in any situation? No, that doesn't resonate. Like there are many instances where I'm uncomfortable. I'm not somebody that's constantly comfortable in my own skin. I show up to a party, instantly comfortable, talking to a cute boy, instantly comfortable, traveling around the world, instantly comfortable. Not at all. Those things cause anxiety for me at times. And overwhelm me at times. So I would not say that that part resonates. Next, it says you as a Gemini tend to seek new experiences that can be communicated to others in an interesting and engaging way, but never become a fanatic who forces opinions on other people. This is really like scary accurate. I mean, this is literally my job. My job is to experience things in real life and then to sit down and talk about it into a microphone, into a camera so that you, the audience can learn from it, find entertainment in it. That is very accurate. Also, one of my most popular series, if you will, on this podcast is advice session where I give you all advice based on what I've experienced in my life. What's interesting though, is that I always say in the beginning of the episode to take everything I say with a grain of salt, because I don't know everything. And that literally aligns perfectly with quote, never become a fanatic who forces opinions on other people. I actually really, that is very me. That really resonates in a way that's so weird. Okay, moving on. It says your energy is scattered in a million directions which can come off as gossipy or flaky. Gossipy a little bit. And I've talked about that before. I've talked about that before. I do love a little gossip. And it's very hard for me. I have to really, really work on that. I have to really suppress that desire, that inclination to gossip. It's in me for whatever reason. And I have to push it down. That's accurate. However flaky, not at all. I mean, it depends on, I guess, how you look at flaky. I always show up. I never, I very rarely cancel plans. So that doesn't resonate. However flaky, perhaps flaky if we were to look at it as flaky with opinions. Because I'm gossipy, maybe I might like say like, I might say to my friends, like, oh, I don't really like that person and then be really nice to them in person because I just don't want to be rude. Like maybe that's where the flakiness comes in. That is true. But when it comes to plans and showing up and whatever, I am always there. So that doesn't resonate. But maybe I'm flaky in some ways. Next, it says you're open to all novel, meaning new and original things in the world because you can quickly see their advantages and you try to show these novel things to others so that they can also benefit from them. Again, that is literally my career. Like YouTube as a career was very new and very novel. But I saw the potential in it and I pursued it and I did it. That is pretty spot on. But also too, like with even things like music, like I love finding new music that maybe is less discovered and showing it to my friends. I love finding things that have yet to be discovered and to show it to people. I really love that and I find that to be very enjoyable. So that definitely resonates. So far, so far, my reading is really accurate which is really interesting. Next, it says you inspire and influence others with your innate charm and vigor. Some would say that my career is to be, my career is influencing, is being an influencer. So that definitely sounds about right. When it comes to innate charm and vigor, I mean, it's hard for me to say that. I don't know how I'm perceived. So you can answer that yourself. I don't know. I don't perceive myself. I don't know how people really feel about me. People could deep down think I am so not charming. But then again, this is my job. So it must work. There must be a little bit of that going on, I guess. Okay, now this is so fucking weird. Am I about to be obsessed with astrology? This next one continues, this next point continues to describe me perfectly. It says next, you have a public speaking ability and a writing talent with a predisposition to excel as a great journalist or creative person in the field of advertising. However, there is no field of work in which you would not excel, which is very nice. And I actually don't think that part is true. There's definitely things I would probably not be good at. I don't think that that's a little bit too generous. I think the apps that I, or the websites that I, you know, chose to get my readings from, maybe just wanted to like gas me up so that I would trust it. But I will say that it was specific enough that I'm like, ooh, that like public speaking abilities and a writing talent. I mean, that's again, my job. I write podcast outlines and I write even sometimes YouTube video outlines. That's my job. Public speaking, I mean, I would say video content, podcast content is in a way public speaking. It's not me on a stage, but it's me talking to a camera to many people in a way. Like that resonates. I'm not a journalist, so that isn't right. But I do, I've always been like, ooh, I wish, like that as I've gotten older, that's become an increasingly more interesting potential avenue that I could go down one day. Who knows? Because I love, you know, I love documentaries. I love things like that. And so it's like, maybe one day I'm a journalist. I don't know, you know, like that it's very interesting that they said that, but also even more interesting, a creative person in the field of advertising. I have a coffee company where I work every day on marketing that brand, but also I work with other brands and work on marketing other brands too. Because that's how, you know, people in this industry make money. You have to advertise brands to make money. That's the only, that's like really it. That's the monetization of this career. So that's very interesting. Okay, moving on. I mean, I'm uncomfortable, right? To be honest, I'm uncomfortable. But I'm also feeling like this is like just an episode of me gassing myself up, thanks to astrology. I do hope that it gets negative at some point cause like it just feels too positive. But again, maybe that's a manipulation tactic that these websites use to like suck you in. You know, if they read you to, to filth in a way, is that even, I feel like that's a saying, read to filth. Yeah, that is a saying. Yeah, if they're like reading you to filth, you're not going to want to go back cause it doesn't feel good. They're saying nice things about you, you know, you're going to want to go back. So I don't know, maybe it's just manipulation, but I'm having fun reading this. It's so far very nice. Okay, next it says, you are creatively restless. Your versatility is often an obstacle when you have to choose a career. So it takes you longer to make career choices. Okay, that's kind of negative. Not really though. I mean, it's not that bad. It's kind of neutral. Would I say this is true somewhat? I would say I'm definitely creatively restless, which I do think does impede my productivity at times. And it gets in the way of me, maybe like producing content to the extent that maybe I technically could because I'm obsessed with being creatively inspired by what I'm doing. And that feeling, that goal doesn't produce a lot of work because you're constantly wanting to reinvent yourself if that's where your head's at. And so that's definitely got in the way. Okay, for me, for sure. However, when it comes to making career choices, here it says it takes you longer to make career choices. I would say yes on a micro level, like takes me longer to like, maybe I'm like not as, I really carefully think about everything that I make. And so maybe I make less because I take a longer time to make decisions. But on a broader scale, I'm pretty intuitive career-wise. So, no, but this does kind of seem to resonate honestly, as I'm speaking about it out loud, and it's out of my head. Yeah, it does seem pretty accurate. Okay, next. It says, your manner is humor in the ease with which you solve problems make you in the eyes of other people a bit shallow. Okay, now it's really made a film. Here we go, this is what we needed. It makes you in the eyes of other people a bit shallow. But this is a wrong assumption because you can concentrate very well and this enables you to have good results. Interesting, okay, so it kind of read me to fur-felf and then it was like, wait, but you're actually still kind of awesome. So loving that. I do think this actually is very, very true in the workplace. I am so light-hearted in the workplace, like in meetings with my team and like whatever. I am a silly goose, you know, I'm joking around. I like to keep it light-hearted, but I actually am very type A though and very organized and very particular and very specific and very, you know, it's like, in my head, I look at it like, if I can keep the energy of meetings light-hearted and fun and easy going, but then in the midst of that also say what needs to be said and keep it very real and at times maybe harsh or not even harsh, but like firm or whatever. You know, to me, I'm like, I think that that keeps a better emotional environment, right? Like it's easier for me to be like, no, this isn't working. If five minutes before I was making a joke and we were all good, then it's like, when I'm like, all right, you guys, to be honest, this isn't working. We need to change this and that. I'm sorry, I know it's like, you know, I keep it light-hearted so that things can be received more warmly and in a way that doesn't feel like a personal attack. So to me, it's like, yeah, maybe I guess in the workplace, it probably does come off as shallow sometimes, but I am ultimately, I like to work in that way because I think it just makes everything, number one, more fun, which is most important, but number two, it keeps the vibe good so that the work can get done, you know? I actually think this is really accurate again. Am I about to be obsessed with astrology? Now I'm scared. Okay, next, it says, it's not in your nature to lavishly emphasize the effort that you put in your work. That is also very true, but also because I don't think there's any reason to, you know, the sort of the quote that's like, work in silence and then show everyone what you made when it's done or something, or like protect the work and then show the product or like whatever, that's like a popular saying. I believe in that 100% and I'm all about keeping my work life somewhat to myself. I mean, I've talked about it a lot today, but yeah, I'm not like walking around discussing that. I don't think it's necessary. I'm not, that's not what I'm chatting about with my friends, with people at parties. It's just not really interesting and it's not really necessary. And it also doesn't make other people feel good because we all are very, I think everybody's a little bit insecure about, not maybe not insecure, but I think work ethic and work in general is a very touchy subject. And I don't know, it's just like, I'm not gonna lavishly emphasize what I'm working on because I don't really think it makes people feel good. In fact, people who are really close to me have brought up to me many times, like I don't tell people in my life what I'm working on to the point where something will happen that's maybe kind of big and they'll be like, what? Like my best friends or like guys that I'm dating or like even sometimes my parents, although they're really involved, but they'll be like, wait, since when did this happen? So that definitely is true. Okay, in the last Gemini trait, finally, this was long, it says, you might also seem shallow to people who have certain opinions and see their unchangeability as a sign of their adherence to their principles while you do not have any dogmas. Dogmas are a set of beliefs considered absolutely true and authoritative within a particular system, such as religion, political ideology, or philosophical school. In your case, it's not deceitful adaptability, but your ability to admit a mistake to yourself and to others and to accept an opinion that has won for its logic. I'm actually having a panic attack. I'm actually having a panic attack because nothing has ever described me better. I'm not fucking with you. This is so accurate. Like this is so true about me. I am so open-minded and this is so me. This is so me. And it's so true that more extreme people who are more perhaps rigid in their beliefs about things, I think do tend to see me as somebody who's maybe a bit spineless in a way, like, you know, who doesn't have, they maybe find it like, yeah, a bit shallow in how I am not sort of dying on any hill, you know? Because I don't know everything. And I know that I don't know everything. And one of the, I think one of the wisest things that you can do is be in touch with the fact that you don't know everything. And so I've really leaned into that. I think I have a natural inclination for that, but as I've gotten older and sort of, I don't know, just developed further beliefs on things, I've even further sort of connected to that. And I continue to strive to not have any dogmas, if you will. And I mean, I have a strong set of morals and values and stuff like it's not like, I don't know, it's not like I don't have that, but I can also keep an open mind simultaneously. So again, that's very accurate. Let's move on because honestly, like this was the longest reading because it's my main sign, it's my son sign. It's like the main one. But I mean, very few things were inaccurate. And I really am not trying to like, I am not biased. I don't want like this to be true. I don't need this to be true. I have no skin in the game. I have no, like astrology is not my like passion, you know? But I can't lie, this was very accurate and hyper specific. So I'm actually having a panic attack and feeling like we all need to get into astrology. Like is this what? Let's keep reading though. Next, let's talk about my rising sign. Also known as my ascendant sign. I am a Capricorn in this category. My rising sign is Capricorn. It says here that your ascendant, your rising sign, is the mask that you present to people. It can be seen in your personal style and how you come off to people when you first meet. Some say it becomes less relevant as you get older. Okay, it says here, you are serious, rational, and perhaps even grave. Okay, see now I'm starting to, now I don't know. Cause I wouldn't say that I come off as serious, rational, and perhaps grave. Like I think I'm pretty warm, I think. I mean, maybe from across the room, I will say this, perhaps from across the room, I might come off as maybe serious, rational, and grave. Like I think I might have a little bit of a resting bitch face. When I was a kid, I will say when I was a kid, like a very young, young, young kid, like a child, like a three year old, I was really mean. Like I didn't like anyone, my parents told me, like one of my parents would like have a friend over at the house and I would cry and be like, get out, like I'm not kidding. I was really mean. But that's not even serious or rational. That's like angry, so that doesn't seem to resonate. I don't know that that resonates. The only, like the little inkling is maybe I have a little bit of a resting bitch face, or like a little bit of a toad from afar. But if you were to come up to me and talk to me, I am not. I think I just have that vibe because I maybe am sort of introspective when I'm say like alone, like if I'm walking down the street, you know, I might look serious or grave because I'm thinking. But then if you were to talk to me, I think your first impression would not be that. I even think I'm very warm. And when I was younger, I think I was pretty warm back then too, but it's harder, maybe less. I don't know. That doesn't feel completely accurate. Next, it says, you make decisions in a responsible, practical, and prudent way. I would say my decision making a lot of times is definitely, it's definitely responsible. I would say I make responsible decisions. I don't really know what prudent means. So like, let's actually look that up. I feel like that means like hesitant maybe. Let's see, prudent, acting with or showing care and thought for the future. Definitely, okay. This feels pretty accurate. I mean, I'm definitely very thoughtful. I'm not impulsive. I'm definitely practical. And I think about the future when I make decisions. I think all of this is true. That seems true. I definitely think more about the decisions I make more than most, and I've even been criticized, or not like, you know, constructively criticized by people in my life at times about that. Like, you need to like lighten up, stop thinking so much about stuff. But I actually don't necessarily agree with that criticism. Like, I think I'm kind of happy with my decision making skills, but that resonates. Next. Okay, now it's reading me for filth again. It says, your ambitions may come off as opportunistic. See, I really need to dig deep here because this is saying something negative about me. So it's like, it's easy to agree with something that is like positive or neutral. But when, you know, talking about something that maybe is not is harder. Like I have to really be honest with myself here. I don't think I come off as opportun- Do you know what? I don't anymore. But when I look back at when I was younger, I definitely was more opportunistic for sure. Like I wanted to be, you know, cool. I wanted to be accepted by my peers. And so like I would dress like everybody else. I would, I don't know. I think a lot of the things my ambitions were opportunistic. I wanted to be accepted by my peers. I wanted friends. I wanted people to think I was cool in a really very visceral way. And I think that is opportunistic. But that was when I was younger. I'm not like that anymore. I've thankfully grown out of that. It's exhausting to live that way. But like, yeah, in middle school and high school, I dress like everyone else. I wanted to go to the parties. I would like, I tried to be in the cool friend group for sure. Thank God that that era of my life is over though. Cause that was not fun. Okay. So I guess that's accurate. Nexus says, you're very professional and hardworking. I definitely am very professional and hardworking. I am addicted. Like I have a, I think I'm addicted to working to be honest in a way that's probably unhealthy. I would say, okay, professional. I definitely, as I said earlier, bring humor to the workplace. Like I'm not super like rigid and like poker face in work settings. I'm a bit silly. So I don't know that I'm the most professional. Like I love to goof around, but I will say that I show up, I get things done on time. I'm organized. I'm responsible. So I mean, professional in that way. But like, like my persona in the workplace is not the most professional I wouldn't say. Cause I'm silly. Nexus says, you use discipline and self-control to control your energy. Definitely. I, but I think everyone does. I guess maybe not. If you're somebody who's maybe lower energy by nature. I think I do have a lot of energy and it can sometimes get me distra- like I can get distracted perhaps easily. So I have to really work hard to kind of control my energy. And I definitely use discipline to do that. So that feels true. Nexus says, you must achieve some social prestige and recognition. See, this one's kind of reading me for felt too. I don't see, I don't care now at this point. I'm older now. I don't really care about that anymore. But I also think too that I've entered into a career where half like my job is to have social prestige and recognition as a person. Like I'm a public figure. That's my job. So like it's easy for me to say now, like, oh, I don't care about it anymore. It's like, yeah, but I did that. So who's to say how I'd feel if I didn't. And even when I was younger, I wanted to be in the popular group. You know, I wanted to be cool. I wanted boys to like me. Like I really wanted to be liked when I was younger. I wanted to go to a good college because I want, because that's prestigious and I wanted, but also I was like, I need to get a scholarship. Like I was obsessed with that. So, I mean, unfortunately I do think that that is true. It definitely was more true when I was younger. But also now my circumstance, it's like I'm experiencing the most extreme version of that in a way on the internet. So I don't know. And last but not least, Capricorn Rising, it says I'm very wise, which is nice. I can't really say that for sure. I'm 24 years old. Perhaps I'm maybe, you know what? Maybe I'm as wise as I can be. I don't know. I mean, I've read comments about me on the internet that have called me wise before, which is very nice and generous. And I don't know, but I've also read comments online that are calling me a fucking imbecile. So it's like, hard to say. When you're on the internet, everybody thinks everything about you. It's like hard to find the truth. And there are friends in my life who come to me for advice and stuff, and that makes me feel like perhaps I'm wise, but I don't know. That one's hard for me to say. Okay, next, let's discuss my moon, which is in Gemini. Okay, I'm in Gemini again. I'm very much Gemini. Gemini shows up a lot on my chart. Your moon sign, it says here, rules your emotions, moods, and feelings. This is likely the sign that you most think of yourself as, since it reflects your personality when you're alone or deeply comfortable. First, it says, you're often restless and unsettled. You need changes in spontaneity. Yes and no. I really love routine, but within my routine, I do crave changes in spontaneity, but within my controlled routine. So yes and no. Like, I think like, I mean, as discussed earlier, I think I'm constantly creatively restless, for sure. That's true. I think my identity, like with my like visual identity, like what I look like, I'm often kind of restless with that. Like I like to switch up my look, you know, pretty frequently, I would say more than most people. When it comes to dating, I mean, I feel like I'm not usually restless with that. I'm like a serial dator who will stay in a relationship for longer than I should, because I like the consistency of that. So I don't tend to feel, but I do often feel restless in those relationships, which maybe is part of the reason why I like it. I like the drama. It's like, hopefully not. But I do also like thrive probably the most when I'm like on the move in a weird way. Like I think the most fun times in my life are when I'm like traveling for a month, going and doing this and doing that. And there's chaos. Like that's when I'm probably the happiest actually, weirdly, even though I love my routine and the control of that. I think I'm the most happy, maybe not happy, but I feel the best when my life is very spontaneous and constantly changing, but that's not the reality that I exist in most of the time. So I don't really know how to feel about that. It's like kind of true and kind of not. I'm confused about that one. Okay, moving on. Next it says, safety lies in thinking about your feelings and sharing them with others, as well as through romance, self-expression, creativity in pleasure. Okay, let's break this down. Safety lies in thinking about your feelings and sharing them with others. That is absolutely true. It's all I do. All I do all the time. I sit down, I talk to you about how I'm feeling on this podcast. I call it my family, my friends, constantly talking to them about how I'm feeling. That is absolutely true. And I think that that's why this is my job because I am so comfortable. I'm my most comfortable when I'm talking about my feelings, which is so unusual and like kind of counterintuitive because feelings are so vulnerable. But for some reason I feel more comfortable when I'm talking about my feelings. That's very true. And I also feel safe through romance, self-expression, creativity and pleasure. I mean, that's pretty true too. The only one that's ringing an alarm bell for me is romance. Self-expression, creativity and pleasure. I mean, fuck yeah, that's so me. Self-expression, love fashion, love expressing myself. Yes, creativity, yes. I love being creative and doing, I feel very safe when I'm being creative and pleasure. I mean, I think everybody feels safe when they're doing something pleasurable. That's just kind of everyone. The romance element, I'm like, I think when I'm in a really safe, comfortable, beautiful, committed romantic relationship, I feel amazing. Yes, I feel very safe in that. But romance in general, I'm not super keen on it. No, like it takes a little bit for me to get comfortable. Some people really love, they love romance, they love sex. They just love living in a romantic world and I need very particular variables to be aligned. Otherwise I'm not, I don't feel safe, I don't feel comfortable. But when I'm in the right kind of romantic situation, yes. But then again, that feels like everyone. So now when I'm not so sure about the rest feels true. Next, it says, you're talkative and speak skillfully with ease. I mean, I have a fucking podcast where I talk to the wall. You, but the wall, ultimately, I'm in my recording studio, which is an office in my house, talking to a wall by myself, no one's here, no producer in the room, no one. I am by myself, I have a cat sleeping on the floor, that's about it. So yes, I think that resonates. Next, you are extremely adaptable, which sometimes makes you feel pulled in too many directions. That is true. Yeah, I think especially in work, in work things, like I love working on the creative side of things, but then I also love working on like the technical side of things, the more boring side of things, perhaps. Like I also really like that stuff. There's also so many different types of things work wise that I want to do. Like I want to make podcast episodes of them. I also want to like make an Instagram real sometimes, but then I also want to make a YouTube video, but then I also want to like, I'll have like a weird idea where I want to start like a really like long-term project. And then I also want to like I have so many, and then I'm like, oh, I want to experiment and like try acting. Like I, there's so many things that I want to do, that I like doing, that it ends, it leaves me feeling, I feel pulled in so many different directions by so many things that I would want to do, that I end up doing probably less because I'm overwhelmed by that feeling. I think that's true. Next, it says you're easily bored. I wouldn't say that to be honest. I mean, at this point in my life, I don't really ever feel bored, but then again, I keep myself really busy, perhaps because I'm easily bored, I've learned to keep myself really busy so that I don't feel bored as often. So maybe naturally by nature, I think I probably do get bored easily, but I just am really good at keeping myself busy. So that's, it's hard to say. Next, it says you need to feel like you are free to be creative and create meaning, which can make you feel like you're in a constant identity crisis. Whoa. Oh my God. That is so true. That is so true. I don't think I need to say anything further about that. I think it's said enough. That's a fucking fact. Okay, next, it says you can correctly predict the mood of a person, but do not ignore the deeper emotional motives. This is interesting. I don't really know what, I think what this means is like, I can predict the mood of a person, but I can also use that to my advantage in a way that maybe could be manipulative. That's kind of how I'm reading this. That resonates. I'm very good at reading the room. Like I think, I think I'm very good at reading people's energy. I can tell when they don't like me. I can tell when they like me. I can tell when they're uncomfortable. I can tell, I have always been really good at that. To me, I think it's because I've always found humans to be very interesting. And so I feel like I'm an avid studier. This is sounds so pretentious. I'm so sorry. Well, actually I should be sorry to myself. It's like, I'm a shut the fuck up. Like stop while your head. You're really, everything that you're saying is just, it's making you sound more like a narcissist who's pretentious. But I really do find people so interesting. And I like watching people. I love people watching. I like trying to understand people. I just, it's like a hobby of mine, honestly. And I talk about it with you all and my friends and my family all the time, because I find it interesting. And so I would say, like that's why I'm good at predicting the mood of a person. But I do think because I'm good at that, I can then not, it's not like I ever, well, I guess that that could be, like I could use that to my advantage in a way that's advantageous to me and not to the other person. So it's kind of warning me about that, I guess. We're just fair. Do I think I ever like predict the mood of a person and then use it to my advantage? And like probably a little, I mean, but I'm not ever, I try to be a good person. So I'm never trying to like hurt anyone, but I definitely, it's an interesting thing that it's saying. Next it says, you have a good innate ability to keep a cool head. I think I need to Google what a cool head is. It's like, does that mean like staying calm under pressure? It says staying calm and collected. That's what the internet says. Yeah, I think I'm pretty good at keeping a cool head. I mean, I have my moments, but I think I like, I'm not somebody who like, will get angry and start yelling. Like I can, you know, keep cool. When I'm in a situation that makes me anxious, I can usually keep cool. I'd say that's true. Like what comes to mind for me is doing the Met Gala interviews. Like I do get really nervous about those, but I think I keep cool. Or if I'm like talking to a cute boy, like I can, I don't know, my friends are like, actually my friends, they, I do keep cool when I'm like flirting with a cute boy, but I can kind of run away. That's my thing. I can run away, but I do keep cool. While I'm talking to the guy, I will keep cool, but then I'll like get out of the conversation as quickly as possible, because it's so hard to keep cool that I'm like, I have to get out. But I think to be outside looking, like, yeah, I think I have a cool head, I guess. And lastly, it says that I easily get acquainted with many people, but it's more difficult for me to maintain a few solid friendships. I don't know. I mean, I guess, yeah, like over the years, I've had a hard time finding like my best friends, but I've always had like throughout the years, I've had various best friends that during various chapters of my life. And I feel like I always have that, but things don't last forever. I don't know, I actually don't think this is true. I do easily get acquainted with many people, but I also think I always have a core group for the most part, not always, but like pretty consistently over the years, I have like best friends, I would say. There's always gonna be gaps in between, where maybe it's a little bit less clear, but yeah, I don't think that resonates actually. But for the most part, it's been pretty fucking accurate those far. Next, let's move on to my Venus being in Aries. Venus determines how and what you love. It indicates how you express affection in the qualities you're attracted to. And I'm in Aries in this department apparently, which means apparently, my romantic side is enthusiastic, impulsive, and direct. It is intense, immediate, and full of courage. Okay, this I don't know about. I am so nervous around boys, and so like not direct. I am the opposite. Like when I have a crush on someone, I'm waiting for them to come to me. And then even when they come to me, I need them to be very forward with me and be like, I'm in love with you and I need to be with you. Otherwise I will never repeat, like I'm not. My lips are sealed, I'm very afraid of that. I don't think I've ever in my life, like confessed my love to someone first, ever. They've always made the first move. I would not say that I'm, well, I guess this also applies to like being in a relationship. But even then, well, I guess once I'm in a relationship, I would say I am pretty enthusiastic, maybe a little impulsive, like I will get into a relationship probably before I should. It's definitely usually intense, and immediate, and full of courage. So yeah, you know what? In the flirting stage and the crush stage, this does not apply, but when I'm actually in a relationship, I would say it applies. Okay, so see, I keep thinking that, like I've outsmarted the astrology and that it's wrong. And then it kind of proves to be right again, like what's happening? Next it says, you don't hide your feelings and aren't afraid to take the lead. No, as I just said, that is not true. See, okay, actually, no, but once I'm in a relationship, I don't hide my feelings at all. Well, no, I don't. And I will take the lead in a relationship. In fact, in most relationships, well, no, that's not necessarily true. In a few of my relationships, I've definitely been like the lead. I feel like I've worn the pants a little bit, sure. So, but like in the beginning stages, like in the flirting stages, no, I am hiding my feelings and I am not taking the lead. So I don't know, the last two, I could go 50-50 on. Okay, this next one is just not true. It says, you tend to be forthright and direct with your crushes. Even if you haven't confessed, you make a lot of inside jokes, touch them a lot and maintain eye contact. I mean, yeah, the inside jokes touch them a lot, maybe not touch them a lot. Maintain eye contact, sure, like, because I'm not confessing, but I will like flirt. I'll flirt a little, but I will not confess first. Nope, you will never ever see me confessing first. And maybe that's something I should strive for in my life, but that's not happening. So again, this one, I'm like 50-50 on because I wouldn't consider myself to be forthright and direct, but I do love to be around a crush that I have and I love interacting with them and I'll like sit and joke around with a crush for hours and hours and hours. It's the best feeling in the world. I'm smiling, just thinking about how fun that is. And I will make inside jokes and I will maybe touch an arm here and there and I will maintain eye contact. So that part's true. Next, you love with your whole heart. Often diving head first into romance with bold enthusiasm, I would say yes to that. Once I find someone that I've like set my sights on, it's over. I'm fucking in and I'm loving them and we're gonna be together for way too long. Chances are longer than we should because I'm so dedicated and I'm so loyal. And I don't know, if I like decide that this is the person I'm gonna love and I feel it, like I show the fuck up. So yeah, that's true. It says, you fall in love quickly and out of love just as fast. While your passion can burn brightly and quickly, you're resilient in love, each experience teaching you more about what truly ignites your heart. I think this is very true and represents my duality in romantic relationships. I fall in love hard, definitely. And I also fall out of love kind of hard. But that happens in relationships sometimes. Like you'll fall in love and then you'll fall out of love and then you'll fall back in love. That happens to me. Like in relationships, I'll be really into it. And then I'll have phases where I'm really not into it and I have to show up and make it work anyway. But see, that is why it's very interesting that it says that I am resilient in love. I stick through it. Even though I'm very like hot and cold, I stick through it for longer than I probably should. And then I learned something from it. So this is kind of an interesting way of wording things but I think it feels pretty accurate. Next, it says you alternate between seeming demanding and disinterested in the relationship. I don't think that's true. I don't think I seem either, I don't feel like I'm demanding or disinterested. I mean, we might need to call an ex. Should we call an ex? I don't think that's a good idea. Oh, no, let's not do that. No. Well, we could. We actually could. I'm like friends with most of them honestly, with like all of them, except for one who I just don't talk to. I literally am like besties with all of them. I would say none of them would say that I'm demanding or disinterested in relationships. I like out of all the things that partners have said about me, that's never been it, that I seem demanding or disinterested. I feel like I'm actually, that's one of the areas that I feel very balanced in a relationship. I'm not clingy, but I'm also not like avoid it, I wouldn't say. Next, it says you're refreshingly honest in how you show affection. I would say that's true. I just will say how I feel. If I'm at a point with somebody where I'm showing them affection, right? Like with a crush, no. But like in a relationship where I'm routinely showing affection, I would say it's pretty honest. I don't know what other way there would be to show affection though. I mean, performative, I guess. That's a nice thing. I don't know. That seems true, but I feel like most people, when they're truly in a relationship that's good, are refreshingly honest in how they show affection. So that seems general. And lastly about my Venus in Aries, it says your generous spirit and zest for life makes you magnetic and your willingness to believe in love again and again is a part of your inner fire. I guess all I can say is thank you. I don't really know how to respond to that. I do feel like I have a generous spirit and zest for life. I mean, I also have moments of pessimism though. And my willingness to believe in love again and again is a part of my inner fire. Yeah, I mean, I definitely have anxiety about love and I have my doubts about it sometimes too. But I always, at the end of the day, maybe not at the end of the day, but like at the end of the month, at the end of the month, I always find that hope again. So fair enough. Oh my God, this is so extensive. There's so many more, like, there's so much more to read. Oh my God, are we gonna be here all day? I mean, I guess, I have time. You can pause this and like come back to it. It's like really getting long. Okay, next. My Mars is in Sagittarius. Mars is the planet of aggression. It determines how you assert yourself, take action, and the energy that surrounds you, particularly in your sex life, your ambitiousness, and when you're angry, okay? Apparently this means that I'm adventurous, expansive, and fueled by the quest for meaning. I would say true to that. Sure, okay. Next it says, you're energized by big ideas, bold journeys in the pursuit of truth. That sounds true too. Next it says, you assert yourself in a way that pushes boundaries. Yeah, I would say so. It says, you push things forward with more vision than thoughtfulness. I think I'm pretty thoughtful, because earlier in my chart, it said that I was like really thoughtful, like almost too thoughtful. I'm a practical, responsible decision maker. Pushing things forward with vision and not thoughtfulness to me sounds like the opposite of that. So that feels kind of contradictory. But I guess in a way, this could be true if it's referring to intuition. I push things forward with my intuition rather than say data. That feels true. I'm definitely very intuitive, and I'm more intuitive than I am data-driven probably. But overall, I'm very thoughtful. To me, being intuitive at times is the responsible practical choice in a way. I don't know. Okay, I don't know. Ooh, but because Mars and Sagittarius relates to my sex life, pushing things forward with vision more than thoughtfulness, that could refer to my sex life, I guess. I maybe choose people to have sex with because I think it's gonna be a fun vibe more than that it's good for me to have sex with people that I shouldn't. I don't know. I don't know about that one. Next, it says, you thrive when energy is guided by a clear purpose and when passion is tempered by focus. Absolutely. That is very true. I've talked about that many times. I need a clear purpose or else I'm in shambles, to be honest. I need to have that as an anchor for me. It's very important. Next, it says, you may struggle with commitment or consistency. I would say that's true. I think there are certain areas of my life where I may struggle with commitment or consistency, like creatively, not in relationships, I don't think. Perhaps in an argument, I might not commit to my argument. I might, as we discussed earlier, like I don't have any dogmas. So I'm maybe not as committed or consistent with my argument in that. So yeah, maybe. Next, it says, in intimacy, you are passionate and spontaneous. It must be an unpremeditated expression of joy. That's very accurate. That's very accurate. Nothing turns me off more than a premeditated sexual encounter. Like it needs to be random, it needs to be spontaneous, it needs to be spur of the moment, it needs to be a vibe. That is absolutely true because I don't like overthinking that area of my life. I don't like thinking about intimacy. I like doing it. Because the second I start thinking about it, I have a mental breakdown. So just doing it is fun. I don't wanna have to think. It needs to be mindless for me. And just like, not even mindless, but just it needs to flow. I don't wanna think about it at all. So that's very true. It says, you are a generous lover, anxious to please. Yeah, I think I'm almost too anxious to please, to the point where I'm like, I'm scared I'm not gonna be enough, like I'm not gonna show up and like do the damn thing well enough. And I'm scared of like guys being like, ew, that wasn't fun. Like I'm scared of that to the point where it almost makes me like freeze up sometimes in sex. I mean, I've gotten better at like not letting that freak me out to the point of like not doing anything, you know? But I think that's true. But it says I'm a generous lover, anxious to please. It's like, I wanna be a generous lover, but I'm so anxious to please that I sometimes can't be generous because I'm too scared or nervous that I'm not gonna like do a good job. Next it says, you aren't focused as much on emotional depth, but you do bring a sense of enthusiasm and lightheartedness. I would say when it comes to intimacy, yes, like I don't wanna think too much about it, but I do need to have emotional depth with the person I'm having sex with, otherwise I have a hard time connecting and feeling attracted for sure. And in romantic relationships, I definitely need a deep sense of emotional depth. And if I'm not getting that, I'm not satisfied. And I've experienced both emotional depth in relationships and surface level depth in relationships. And I need the deep, I need the deep. But when it comes to like actually the act of sex, yeah, I would say I prefer enthusiasm and lightheartedness. But do I bring the enthusiasm and lightheartedness? I would say yes, actually. When I'm, I mean, sometimes I get a little nervous, but I, if anything, I'm like covering up the nervousness with enthusiasm and lightheartedness. And lastly, it says your sexual interest may wane if the connection feels routine or limiting. I mean, doesn't everyone? Like I think everyone likes to keep things a little spicy, but I'm pretty vanilla. I don't really need things to be that spicy, but it's nice sometimes. Like, yeah, I don't know, maybe I need to branch out, get a little freaky or maybe that would be awesome for me. Okay, moving on to my Jupiter in Gemini, another Gemini placement in the chart. One of the two social planets, Jupiter rules idealism, optimism and expansion. It's also very philosophical. It says here that I grow and find understanding through curiosity, mental adventure and trying new things. We've discussed this already, fact. I think that's very true. Next, it says you have a talent to get to know as many aspects of life as possible. It's basically how you get to know yourself. However, you may easily get entangled in endless amusements and distractions that life offers and forget about things that truly matter. Yeah, I really, I will say when it comes to getting to know as many aspects of life as possible, I am very much that. I'm not somebody who is hyper focused on one thing. I like to know something about everything. And I know a lot of very random facts. Like my friends know me as somebody who just like knows random shit that like I shouldn't know. I don't know why. Like I know so much about such random things because I just find so many things weirdly interesting. So that's very true. I would say I have a natural inclination for that. But I also agree with easily getting entangled in endless amusements and distractions and forgetting about the things that truly matter. I think because I'm so interested in so many things that I have to be very intentional about what I put my energy towards because I only have so much. And I think now that I'm older, I'm much better at that. But probably, you know, when I was younger, it was probably a bit harder. Next, it says you collect as much information and knowledge as you can. And in this process, you meet many people that can act as facilitators, travel, employment, services or something more unusual. I mean, I think everyone does that. That feels very vague and very like, I don't know, that one kind of confuses me. It feels like it's true, but I don't know. Next, at an intellectual level, gathering information allows you to see general trends in society as well as interests of individuals. Your most important ability is to be well informed in one or more areas. Again, that is very vague. Like I don't even want to talk about that because it's so vague. They're losing me a little bit. Next, it says it is possible that you identify yourself with two or more philosophies or moral codes at the same time. That's more specific and that's very true. That kind of goes back to the whole lack of dogmas thing, like being open-minded, being open to changing my mind. I would say that's true. And lastly, it says you find success through work, routines and bodily health. Definitely, yes, everyone does to an extent, but also this kind of contradicts earlier when it said that I need constant change and spontaneity. But I guess you can have change and spontaneity within work, routine and bodily health. It's probably better if that's not spontaneous. Okay, I think those two things actually could kind of align. Like if you have a spontaneous work or built into your routine, there's spontaneity. Yeah, okay, that feels accurate. We're actually almost done. This has been the longest. I feel like my eye is twitching because it's been so weird to read this and have honestly probably 85% of it be accurate. And then like, you know, well, let's say like 70% of it, give or take so far has felt like scary accurate and very specific. And then like 20% of it has felt it could be true for most people. And then like 10% of it is just kind of off. But even with the ones that are like really off, I'm like, well, but in this situation, it could be true. And maybe that's the thing with astrology is that like it's written in such a way that it'll always work, you know? I don't know. Okay, next we're talking about Saturn. Another Gemini placement. It's like, what? What's happening? The other social planet, Saturn rules responsibility, restrictions, limits, boundaries, fears, and self-discipline. So my Saturn being Gemini apparently means that I struggle with a lack of focus, restless energy, and getting bored easily. It said that to me 15 different times today. So I guess it must be true. Next, it says, you've had difficulties with romance, self-expression, creativity, and pleasure. See, earlier it said that I thrive and feel safe with those things. Here it's saying I struggle with them. But I think those two things can be true at once. I do feel safest with those things, but I also have had difficulties with romance, self-expression, creativity, and pleasure. Of course, but doesn't everyone struggle with romance, self-expression, creativity, and pleasure? Like don't we all have moments where like, like those things just aren't flowing? Like I think that's kind of normal. Next it says, you either adore using your intelligence and giving everything a logical explanation, or you are very intuitive and limited by your inability to think logically. I do like to give everything a logical explanation, but I would also consider myself to be intuitive. It's saying either or here, but I think kind of both for me. And I think I'm pretty logical and realistic, but I also think I'm intuitive. I think I've found a really beautiful balance with that actually. I'd like to believe that anyway. And lastly it says, your hypersensitive mentality may cause difficulties coping with obstacles and challenges at school and during your search for a permanent job. Yeah, I would say in my work life and in my school life, honestly, if we're gonna go back that far, there's been many obstacles in my career and I had many obstacles at school. I would say, you know, like that seems accurate. But again, who doesn't? Okay, we're finally kind of to the end. So technically there's still more planets, like my Uranus is in Aquarius, my Neptune is in Aquarius and my Pluto is in Sagittarius. I'm not gonna read these out though because with these particular placements, like with Uranus or Uranus, depending on how you say it, I like to say Uranus. Uranus stays in each sign for seven years, meaning it rules a generation more than it rules a person. Same thing goes for Neptune. Neptune stays in each sign for around 14 years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. And then lastly, Pluto being in Sagittarius. Pluto stays in each sign for up to 30 years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. You get the idea. So those are less specific to me, so I don't really, like that applies to my entire generation. You know what I mean? I was trying to get to, I wanted to see what astrology had to say about me. My generation, eh, you know? But I'll be honest, you guys, I'm gonna be honest. I might start reading my horoscope, you know what I'm saying? It was pretty spot on. And again, maybe like this is some sort of diabolically genius mind trick that has lasted for, oh my God, I mean, this like horoscope and zodiac and astrology. Astrology has been around for so long, for a reason. Maybe because it's onto something, or maybe because there's like a magical vagueness to it that makes it like, it's like, it's a puzzle piece that can always fit. It's like the magical puzzle piece that can always fit. That maybe there's like some sort of, I don't know, but it is really interesting. I did find it to be pretty accurate. And I think we need to end this episode by reading my horoscope for the day, for today. I'm going on co-star. Some people don't like the app co-star, but we're gonna read my co-star reading for the day anyway. It says, you are not a product of who raised you, nor of who hurt you. Today, there's a little voice in your head telling you that it is selfish to be contrarian. It's not. You just haven't accepted that your judgment pulls you apart from the people you love. Control your impulses. Try not to deflect deeper conversations. Your work this month is to understand the difference between naive defiance and principled critique. When you intellectualize your existence, you undermine yourself. Don't let rough, broader moments warp your vision. The broader focus of your life during this time is to exercise self-discipline and carefully manage your resources so you don't burn yourself out too late. Generosity is not conditional. You can give to your loved ones even when they have not offered anything to you. Okay, so I can make a whole episode about that. So we're just gonna, you know, let's all just, I'm just gonna leave it at that. And I'm gonna go think about that for the next two hours because apparently I should take it seriously because everything else today has been scary accurate. So, hey, I hope that this was fun. Listen, I'm not, as we learned today, Emma doesn't force any ideas onto anyone, but this was interesting. Listen, I'm not fully sold on astrology necessarily, but this was really interesting and it was fun. I had fun. I hope you did too. And if you did, new episodes of anything goes every Thursday and Sunday, come tune in. Listen anywhere, but if you wanna watch, that's on YouTube and Spotify. Anything goes is on social media.
