Summary

BravBros hosts Steve Russell and Shooter Magudar recap the Ladies of London episode featuring dueling dinner parties, Kimmy's feud with Margot, and Micah's children's show 'Mini Manners.' The episode highlights the cast's authenticity, self-awareness, and ability to resolve conflicts quickly compared to other Bravo shows.

Insights
  • British reality TV cast members demonstrate higher emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills than American counterparts, moving past issues within single episodes rather than dragging them across seasons
  • Authenticity and self-awareness are key differentiators for the Ladies of London cast—they acknowledge their flaws openly rather than defensive denial, making them more relatable and entertaining
  • The show successfully balances high-society drama with entrepreneurial side projects (Mini Manners), creating multi-dimensional character narratives that appeal beyond typical reality TV audiences
  • European drinking culture and social norms create a different dynamic for conflict—alcohol is normalized and less sensationalized, allowing conversations to flow more naturally
  • Strategic social maneuvering (like Margot's seating position) is recognized and called out immediately, suggesting the cast operates with higher social awareness than typical reality TV participants

With all the craziness going on, this show has become like my escape. I just turned this on and I can tune out the noise of the summerhouse drama. For 42 minutes, I can just finally focus on one thing, and that's these delightful ladies of London. Just escape to London Town, they say. Well, it's like for London Town, I shine. Whatever, yeah, it makes it so much worse when you're eating too. You're gross. I'm done now, I just had a few honey roasted cashews for dessert. Shall we kick it off then? As airs are driving a deep left field by Castellanos, it will be open by 5. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a f***ing... I don't need the spotlight, I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma, and yes, I am a bitch. Bravo Bros. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Bravo Bros, your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody, for whoever wants to listen. I'm your cohost, Steve Russell, joined as always by Shooter Magudar. What's up, dude? I feel like a relief pitcher that's been pitched too much, and it's still the regular season. You know what I mean? Just overworked, overtired, too much going on. And thankfully we have ladies in London because what a show that... What a delightful show this is. And obviously the content isn't exactly delightful, but it still is, honestly, in the grand scheme of things. It's just, it's enjoyable to watch, it's so much fun, it's so entertaining. I don't know where I would be without this show. I don't know if it's their accents or their vocabulary, but regardless of what they're talking about, it sounds good. Their vocab is very good, and that's a huge change up because we're used to watching housewives that can't really form a sentence yelling at each other, and they use the same word over and over and over again, and a lot of times those words become tropes. But when you go over to this show, they've got fucking thesauruses in their back pockets. They're just pulling them out, they're ready to go. I know, I don't know, man. They can talk about the fact that, again, Kimmy was talking about Missy's dead brother in a not-so-flattering way, and yet it didn't come off that harsh. Yeah, it came off funny, honestly. I would argue it came off pretty funny. But it wasn't a funny thing, but the way that... She's got that interesting English-American accent. It's like a hybrid of the two, which I really enjoy. But yeah, I don't know. Maybe they're just so delightful that no matter what comes out of their mouths, it's like, wow, what a great show. But it's the perfect show to recap after the four to eight hours that we've all had, you at home included, if you're keeping up with the summerhouse drama. We've been through the ringer, and it's mentally draining, physically, emotionally, spiritually, you name it. It takes a toll. Let's jump into this week's episode of this lovely, lovely show. And as always, if you're not watching this show, stop this episode, go start the show, and then come back here later. Okay? You get a pass to start next week. If you want to finish up the week and keep digging on West at Amanda, I'm not going to blame you. You could start Monday. We start Monday more. Diet starts Monday. Diet starts Monday, everybody. But we are driving in London with Micah, who is a terrible driver. And to the point where, and she said that, not me, the point where if she gets one more ticket, she loses her license to which I need a list of her tickets thus far. How many do you have? What did you do? What happened? Well, she kind of paints a picture because she says that there's speeding cameras everywhere, red light cameras everywhere. It's difficult to get away with anything, which I would always ask, what are you trying to get away with? When you just figure it out, you know, for me, after the first ticket, I'd be like, okay, where are the speeding cameras that are here, here, here and here? Okay, but I won't speed in those areas. I think it's pretty quick. It's very funny though, because it's almost like it, like we escaped to London, but then we have to remember like Micah hasn't been there her whole life. She's only been there for a short period of time. So she's still learning. I imagine that it's a process, a bit to not only get your license, but then if you lose it, I can't imagine trying to get it back as an expat. I don't think she's next. You don't need to get an English license. Your driver's license from the States works. No, not for long term. It doesn't. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, you have to, if you're going to be a resident over there, you have to get it. Oh, if my girlfriend's friend lives over there and she has to go through as a 28 year old or 29 year old, she has to go through the permit test. And then she has to go through the driver's test. And that is very comical to me. That makes sense. Yeah, I didn't think about the residency part. I have driven on the other side of the road and it is hard just not for a long time. No, for a couple days, I would imagine it's probably max like after the first date. The only thing that you got to like be careful of is you instinctively drift because you want to be on the other side. So like that. And then remembering that left turns are shorter. They're not like where in the States you turn left and you got to go wide because oncoming traffic's to your left. That was hard to learning. It sounds like a turn on red would be a left turn. So those are the hard things. But yeah, I call it the Perth pistol was my little blue car. I really like that. Yeah. For Micah, you know, I get all of the things that you just said. It sounds like she's doing way worse. I know she's just breaking. She's backing into cars. She doesn't know where she's running. Herbs, children, dogs, cats. Am I allowed to go over? Oh, that's so that weird squiggly line where everybody walks. I can't go over that. Okay. No, that's the same over here. It's not squiggly. It's very clearly a crosswalk. You can't go over that. That's just rule of thumb. Maybe people walking when they're all walking in Newtasyn. You don't drive over that Jim Carrey and Lyra Lyra. Stop breaking the law. Asshole. But Martha, Micah and Kimmy are out to lunch and valid question here. Ketchup. I think they call it tomato something over there. What do they call it? Tomato sauce. Tomato sauce. Tomato sauce. Tomato. I don't know. But the ketchup on the eggs thing, which is obviously we all do that over here. They love ketchup, but just not on eggs. So there you go. But big Mayo fans, which I agree, Mayo rocks. I think Mayo gets a bad rap, but any who Micah is under a lot of pressure because Micah is trying to go the route of I can only describe as like a miss Rachel route. She wants to start her own children's show and it is very when we see a glimpse of it later, that's exactly what I got was okay. She's trying to do like the British miss Rachel only she's American in London, but whatever. So kit more than learning her alphabet and everything else. Many manners. Many manners. Yeah. Yeah. This is a labor of love. She describes it as which, you know, that's cool. Actually it's, it's way different. I mean, again, that's another thing. And I feel like I do this all the time, but when we're watching the shows over in the States, I mean, everybody's got a fucking cocktail line. Everybody's got makeup, haircare, whatever it might be getting into many manners as a new opportunity. It's exciting. I'm really excited. Investors are talking about it. Everyone's excited about this. I'm curious how it's going to go. My issue was not so much the show at all. I like that we get to watch this kind of hopefully grow. I was just the name, you know, is that really going to take, oh, let's go watch many manners. I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I mean, maybe she could workshop that a little bit. It sounds like she's been doing it for a few years. I mean, she says that she's kind of had this kind of going in the background. I guess she's focusing on the makeup on another job, but she's working on this in her free time, which is great. I don't know. Maybe you do workshop the name. Maybe that's something that we have to do, but if it's going to work, it's going to work. And I love that. Yeah, I hope it does. That'd be a fun angle to be able to cover on a Bravo TV show is a children's puppet show. But obviously the talk of the town is still the Missy and Kimmy and Margot drama. And I love Kimmy so much, genuinely, because this has now become Margot's fault entirely. And her default answer of it wasn't that bad until Margot like, no, what you said was actually pretty bad. And you're somehow so convincing that I'm starting to question whether or not it was that bad. And then we get a clip of it. I'm like, oh yeah, no, it was fucked up. But the way that she she's so good at like spinning it and gaslighting that I believe her almost. I'm like, I think I'm team Kimmy. I'm definitely team Kimmy. Team Kimmy. I decided that last week, but it's just really funny. And I don't know because like we can't even really talk about what got her to pushing this agenda that it's all Margot's fault. And now she's going to go after Margot because there's not enough context there and it doesn't seem like their friendship or really runs that deep or has been going on for that long that she'd be able to just kind of like pull things from the past. Like no, she always does this six months before filming or whatever. It seems like they just met in the last couple of weeks, maybe a couple of months. So I don't know. I'm just so enthralled to see where it goes because I know there's going to be so many different spins. I know there's going to be so many sharp turns here and there. If Mike is in the car, obviously, hopefully she's not driving for that sharp term because she'll crash, but I know that it's going to end up in a completely different place. And I'm just excited to see where it goes because it doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm fully okay with that. It's a weird sensation. Yeah. But the thing that really comes through this scene and we've seen this kind of across the board for the most part, not everybody, because I do, I don't agree with how she got there, but I do think that Margot shady. I do think that Kim is onto something there. She is. Not for the reasons that she's trying to use, but I'm like, okay, I see what you're saying. It just means to an end though. Sure. Maybe she's thinking the same thing that we are right now. Like we can see there's bits and pieces here where Margot might be shady. I'm going to get ahead of this now. And even though she's loosely connected to all of this, I'm just going to pin the whole thing on her just to see what happens. Great. Fine. Works out well for us. Great. Yeah. We're down. What's great about Kimmy, as I was saying, with the majority of the cast, at least thus far, they're very authentic and they're very self-aware. And like the self-awareness factor is something we really don't get on Bravo or reality TV very often. It's actually quite the opposite. So to see Kimmy say things like, look, I'm not nice. I'm not polite, but I'm loyal as shit. And now she's on my shit list. Translation, she's a ride or die friend. She's, she's going to give it to you straight and she's kind of an asshole, but she's your asshole. And I love that. If you look across the board, pretty much everyone, again, it's early, but what you see is what you get. Martha, very straightforward. We know what we get. Missy even, you know, Lottie. Like they're all just themselves in the best way and it's so good to watch them like interact, even the people that haven't been friends for that long. It's like they have more chemistry than half the shows in the States. Yeah. No, you're definitely onto something with all of that. And the cast as a whole is just so good and they operate so well together. I think it's going to be interesting to watch too, just because I want to see how Kimmy reacts to all of it. And also the good thing for me and something that really shines for me through this show and what we can expect in the hopefully coming seasons is we had, it's a very, even though we're laughing about it, it's a very dark issue that Kimmy was poking fun at Missy's brother dying, but we're moving on from that. We're done. It was an episode. Like we talked about it. We had a little bit of fun with it. We've reflected on it and said, yeah, it is pretty dark, but it's also kind of funny that she did it this way. And now we're moving on to Margo. Like we're done. We're done with a very dark issue that could have just hung over our heads for 10 episodes and then maybe get resolved at the reunion if they have one, God willing. But instead it's like, nah, we're actually done with that. You know what, Missy? Missy, I feel like we sat down when I talked to her. I've got a lot of respect for Missy. I understand where she's coming from. She understands where I'm coming from. It's just who I am. That's okay. We can move on from all of that. Got a problem with Margo. Let's talk about Margo. I love that. That's perfect because it's such like a weird nuance. It's such like a weird surface level thing, but instead Kimmy's just thinking on a deeper level like, ah, I don't know. I don't trust Margo. I'm going to poke and prod that and see what happens. Great. Again, awesome. We're down. But Joshua and Lottie, who you could give them their own show, honestly, and I would watch every single episode. They are so interesting and captivating. And usually when I see people like Joshua, I'm like, this is all an act. It's a front. It's not. That's who these people are in the best, quirkiest, weirdest way possible. And they want to do a gender reveal because they saw it on TikTok. They're like, look, it's, it's, it's an American thing, but it's getting a little bit bigger. So we want to do it too. And the first thing that we had talked about previously was like the nanny situation, like what Lottie's going to do as far as the kids. Margo, not helping herself. She's like, oh, we had three nannies like that. Yeah. Turn it down a little bit. But yeah, Lottie, I assume came from more humble beginnings originally because she's like, well, we didn't have nice. My mom had four kids and it was mom all the time. To find out dad was a CEO of whatever company he ran. And the CEO has liver cancer, which is very sad. I think we learned about that last week. Yeah. And he also passed away last week. Oh no. Like in real time. Yeah. I know what you meant. Oh, that's a bummer. Well, that's super sad. But the nice thing is Lottie shares it with us at home. Their relationship has gotten even better in the later years and she stoked that dad can show up to things like this and we just get more of the Lottie and Joshua vibe more than anything. Yeah. It's just fun to watch these two kind of operate and do their thing. Got the cake. It's a boy. This scene, this confessional, so small. But this is where I'm like, these two are going to stand the test of time. This family's going to last forever. Cause it's like, oh, and then we get the mini, oh, the mini suits. Yes, we'll all do mini suits. I'm like, yes, mini suits. As soon as they said that, I'm like looking forward to season three, season four. That baby in a mini suit is going to crack me up and I cannot wait for that. Like I want to fast forward, but I don't want to. Actually, I do want to fast forward so I can go back and just watch everything in a row. I just want to binge the whole thing. Same. I think it's really funny. Cause I wonder, obviously sounded really weird, but I wonder how many women have had that thought when they're having a boy and they're like, Oh, I've got a willy inside of me. It's like, Oh, what a strange way to say you having a boy. But at the same time, I can't, that must be a strange feeling. I suppose she says it to her mom too, which is even fun here. Yeah, I know that she didn't really know what to do with it, but it was very funny. Now we have a dueling kitchens, dueling dinner parties. You got Emma and you got Margo. Both of them are having a new party. Margo, we get to see her new house, which is quite the house. Quite the house. Quite the house. Now, Lottie was very nice about it. Is this the same house she was talking with Martha about where it was in architectural digest and she really wanted it and it was over budget because they didn't make a big deal about it. So I'm assuming not, but who knows? I don't know. I know it's $40,000 a month, which is just, I can't even fathom that. It's got like a pink room and a yellow room and a green room and all these wacky colors. Lottie was very nice and saying, yeah, it's not really my style, but if she likes it cool, I think it's ugly as shit and I like funky houses. It just looks dated. Maybe you like American funky houses. Maybe, you know, like Marge. I loved Marge's house. Yeah. Pose is a great house. Yeah. Those houses in America probably hit a little bit different, but when you go over to Europe, you want like more of the classical, like a Tuscan house. That's what you're looking forward to. I'm down. Whoa. Yes. Tuscan house. Yes. That's not what that was. I love a Tuscan house. No, no, no, I know. I'm saying that's what you want. I see what you want. When you see the European version of a funky house, you're like, uh, what is this? Yep. Yeah. Ready to launch your business? Get started with the commerce platform made for entrepreneurs. Season two arrives September 24th, distributed by Realm. Yep, nailed it. While we're touring the house, we're just getting kind of the rundown. As we know, Margot's trying to kickstart her career again. She reminds us frequently that she had one of the sexiest films in London's history, which is where she had sex on camera. I don't really know what else to say. But she FaceTime's Martha and Martha lets her know, like, hey, heads up, keep me stocking shit. And this is why I love Martha. Martha is so middle of the road and refusing to take a side, but will also speak her mind, which we don't see ever. And she's like, yeah, you know, you didn't tell her something like she didn't need to know that. They shouldn't need to know that. It's like, well, I mean, yeah, she probably did. Like for the show standpoint period, but on top of that, like from a nice person standpoint, she should know about that, especially because Missy made it very clear. Like, Hey, if stuff's going on, like I want you to tell me what's going on. So this is all laid out in front of us. And she lets her know so she can kind of get ready, which is the best timing because that means at dinner we have something to talk about. Yeah. No, I think Martha is going to be, she's going to be interesting. She's, I mean, we already know she's very quirky, but when she turns on like her serious attitude, it's going to be interesting to look at because I want to see how everybody else reacts to it. Like we see, we've seen her just completely balls to the wall all over the place, bouncing around, making jokes, making distasteful jokes, not really picking a side, not doing this or that or whatever. But if she gets a little serious, that's what I kind of want to see. I want to see how well round that she is. I would think that it would be a quick hit and then she'd get back to like normal Martha, but I think it's in there. So we got like a close to a glimpse of it when she had that conversation with Margo in the stores locker. And I do love that she's like, look, honestly, I think you're both wrong and horrible right now by the way. And she's like, here's saying that because you're stuck in the middle. Stick damn right. I don't want to be in the middle. And Margo calls out Kimmy saying she better roar because she's looking like a little bitch. I was like, hell yeah. All right. Like it doesn't seem like a place that Martha would want to be is in the middle between these two. No, I don't think that she strikes me as somebody who wants to be tugged from either side. Like, no. I don't want to be stuck in the middle of any of this. Don't make me pick a side, please. I just want to be a bystander. I just want to be sitting over in a corner just with a drink, kind of making some jokes, watching you guys go back and forth and then clean up the mess afterwards with both of you. I don't want to have to pick one side or the other. And it seems like we're on the route now that Kimmy's going to try to force her hands like, nope, you actually have to pick my side. If you don't, then we're going to have some problems. I'm going to talk shit about your dead brother. And the funny part about our dueling kitchens is on one hand, you have, I'm just going to call her royalty. I know it's the aristocracy, but like who cares? On one hand, you got royalty and Emma is a borderline trained chef. She makes beautiful plates. She loves cooking. She's been to classes. She's done all this cool shit. She's hosted dinner parties, blah, blah, blah. On the other side, you got Margot cutting open a bag of shit and pouring it into a baking dish and being like, hosting is hard. Yeah. I want to go to Emma's party. Yeah. Yeah. Emma, I was surprised and not surprised because obviously, you know, my first thought, people cook for her. Oh, the same thing. Then when I watched her cook and her culinary presentation of everything, I'm like, no, yeah, no, this, this actually checks out completely. I actually fully expect her to be able to just throw on a five course meal and be, and still in like a beautiful dress with a nice apron, a very tasteful apron on top, take it off and still look great. Like that, that is actually exactly what I would expect from her. Yeah, exactly. It comes out with like a big platter, pulls the big shit. What's it called? It's not a charger. You know what I'm talking about? Pulls the big thing off and it's like a whole like roast. I've never known what the word is for that. I used to know. Yeah. And I know what you mean. Yeah. That's, but I have the same image. Like she pulls that and it's like her dresses. You got to tune into mini manners. Mini manners. What's it on? Wait, that's actually a good question. I'm going right to YouTube. Mini manners. Mini manners. Fun. It is. It's up. Skills for kids. Sign up. Oh my God. We mean sign up. Look at this. How many episodes are there? Helping little minds grow big hearts. Manners aren't just rules. They're how we show care for ourselves, others in the world around us built with experts made for real life. Welcome to my house. It's been going for a full year. This is July 4, 20, 25. Dude, there's five years ago she was putting stuff up. So she was probably doing it in her, yeah, yeah. It really kicked into gear. She's got four videos from five years ago and then everything else is from eight months ago. So she's been, she's been working on it. That's so fun. That's seven days ago. Good for you, Micah. We love that. Very happy for her. Yeah, we're big fans. Hell yeah. Many manners. Yes. Me and Scotty are going to watch that tomorrow. I'm going to put on some mini manners and I'll give you guys a rundown. Don't tell them. We enjoyed it. Just put it on. Just don't say a goddamn word. Oh, that's a good idea. Put it on and then have her come downstairs and be like, what the hell are we? Oh my God. She hasn't, she hasn't watched this episode yet. So I really could get her. Good. This is perfect. Yeah. Okay. I'll report back everybody. Let's get back to dinner. One, like I said, fancy schmancy, nice dinner party. Other ones, Margo, who is forcing people to drink non-alcoholic wine because she's trying to be nice to Lottie, which was nice. It really made me laugh because like knowing in the U.S. if this was a similar setup, and I'm going to do this a lot, the comparison, I feel like here people would just grin and bear the non-alcoholic thing. Like, oh, thanks. Missy continues to like this, I want wine. Where's the, why I want wine was probably my favorite part of the dinner. Like, why are you serving me this with flowers? You know, it's funny. We've actually seen, and this is just funny editing, I guess across the board, but every dinner that they go to Missy sitting there, like, can I, can I order something in alcoholic right now? Can I just get this, please? For the love of God? Why are we waiting so long? So it kind of just built up to that. So now that I'm thinking about the first couple of episodes, she was doing that already. So we already kind of set the stage for that. Now we're getting over to Margot's and she's not serving wine. And when she finally pulls out that bottle of wine, it's like, yay, big. Yeah. You get a glass and a half out of this. You have a shot of Chardonnay, if you'd like. Yeah. But I think that's just the, the European versus American difference. Like when it comes to alcohol, like when you go to Europe, it's much different. Like the culture around alcohol is nowhere near what it is here. You know, they go to lunch. I wrote that down in my notes earlier when they're having lunch. Like it's not, uh, when we watch shows here, it's like, are we going to have a drink? Are you going to have a drink? There it's like immediately ordered. They don't even have anything. We're having a drink. Yes. It's already known that we're going to be sitting down and drinking, which is fun to watch. But more like over here, it's like problematic drinking. And then you go over there and they're not drinking necessarily less than the average person over here, but they're just very quiet about it. Yeah. It's with some class. Like drinking with class. Yeah. Yeah. So everybody wants to see, but Martha again, love Martha so much because she just calls out Kimmy because Kimmy's talking shit immediately. I love that she does this. Anytime she's got a feud with anybody, she just talks shit to whoever's around her and tries to get them to either slip up and say something stupid and agree with her or just poke and prod. And she's poking and prodding Martha. She's like, Martha likes Margo because she's like her bird. It'll peck your eyes out. Ha, ha, ha. Kimmy bollies it right back. She's like, you're just pissed off because Margo outmaneuvered you. Oh, the hell yeah. Yeah. Get, let's, let's go. And when they start getting into the whole thing, it's like, look, it was a genius maneuver. She came and she sat on the other side of you. You having to turn your head back and forth. You got frazzled. You got rattled. She won. And that makes you mad. I love that she checked her like that, especially as a friend. Yeah. And Kimmy's not going to like that as we see. That is not the right thing to say. So it is funny too, because we didn't like warm up to the idea of maybe even talking about this. It was more just like, if you want to throw me in the middle of this, I'm going to make a statement that you're really not going to like. Margo outmaneuvered you. Margo outpedied you. She got into a position where you had to turn. She was sitting in your blind spot. So you couldn't just continue the conversation. You can't hold court. You have to turn completely around to talk to her. You could have just not talked to her. Like now that you're thinking back, it's like, you shouldn't have even turned around. You should just put your hand up and said, Margo, I'll deal with you later. But no, you fell right into the trap. And it's really funny too, because we're talking about all of this. And again, we talked about it in the beginning of the episode, the fact that Kimmy just completely pivoted and went after Margo. It doesn't make a ton of sense. But right now it doesn't make a ton of sense that Margo would go over there to try to hold court and force you to do something. But it's still very funny. The whole situation is just, it's all a bunch of shit that I would never think of. And yet it's incredibly funny. Yep. I agree. It's incredibly captivating. Kimmy gets a little frazzled in this situation because she changes tactics. She's like, yeah, well, she has no style. I don't like her jumpsuit and you don't like it either. And Martha's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I have no problem with her style because Kimmy's trying to bash her entire look. She's like, I didn't say that. I said that one jumpsuit, I wasn't a fan of. Right? She's like, ah, yeah, you, you know, you hate her style. I know you hate it. She's just trying to get her riled up. And I love that Martha's. The clip is even funnier. And Martha looks at her and she goes, Oh, I don't like that jumpsuit at all. I just don't like crushed velvet. What do you want from me? I didn't say anything about the rest of her style. I just didn't like that jumpsuit. Yep. And she's going to a confessional just like almost pleading like, I have no issue with you, Margo. Like I like your style. Don't listen to Kimmy. This is all bullshit. Yeah. But on the other side, you've got Margo and her dinner party and obviously they bring up Kimmy and she's on a war path. And Micah, who to her credit has not spilled the tea at all. She's sitting there quietly until she's called upon. She's like, like you are them. She's like, what's that? Me? Me, Micah? Um, yep. Yes, I was. Thinking about her parking tickets. Yeah, I sure was. But, uh, many manners guys, I'm doing many manners. So she tries to, she changed the subject, but what it really gets down to when we see these two feuding dinner tables, if you will. Kimmy has successfully shifted everything to Margo. There is still a conversation we're going to get to very shortly with Kimmy and Missy to kind of squash it. And I think that's very intentional from Kimmy. I'm not so sure this would have happened if she wasn't trying to fully pivot to Margo. I think that she's doing this to clear the air with Missy because then everybody can go, you're the problem, Margo, me and Missy, you're fine. Yeah. That's exactly what she wants. She wants people to start thinking about it, maybe start planting some seeds, thinking about how Margo has been acting over the last couple of weeks. Is she trying to push people in different directions? Is she manipulating situations? Is she the real mastermind behind all of this? Is she being really petty and trying to control everything? Uh, maybe it's going to get you thinking, you know what, just in case you're not sure, I'm going to get Missy on board because if I sit down with Missy, squash it very appropriately and then start shifting focus over to Margo, maybe Missy will see that. And honestly, maybe Missy will. Like why not? Who knows? I mean, she's very convincing. She's extremely convincing. It's one of her superpowers. She's talked shit about Missy's brother being murdered. And yet somehow I think most of us are either on her team or adjacent to because she's just so delightful. But Micah, we get to see the inner workings of many manners and her setup for everything. She's working on it and we learned her husband's been out of town for like four days a week. So it's been kind of nuts. She says like, you know, this is the first time I've ever had my emotional and mental health off balance. So she's going through it, getting many manners up and running as we know from our very astute research about five minutes ago. It's going. Yeah. We are journalists. So many manners is often running and hopefully she's feel a little bit better about the whole thing, but it was kind of cool to kind of see this whole thing. The behind the scenes. Like, like you said early on, I love that this is an angle of this show. This is such a random thing. Oh yeah. We've never seen anything like this. So this is a lot of fun. Micah is a very random angle of this show. I mean, when you go through the whole cast, it all makes sense. It all makes sense. It all makes sense. And then up until this episode, I'm like, Micah is just kind of sticking out like a sore thumb. I don't really understand what she does here. I don't understand what her connection to the group is, how she fits in. And yet it just seamlessly all goes together. Like I can't even really put it into words after watching this episode, but I'm just completely okay. I'm like, yeah, no, it makes sense. Micah's there. Great. Yeah, exactly. Very interesting. I think about the show without Micah now and I'm like, no, like it doesn't flow. We need her. Yeah. It's almost like she is the like the innocence barometer. She seems so pure and nice that like it's really funny to watch her in these situations such as at the dinner where like, Micah, you were there. She's like, nah, shit. Yeah, I was. I think it's not good manners to talk shit. Everybody on the cast can have a moment where and like some more than others where they can be a little bitchy, where they can look at somebody else and say something completely off color or whatever it might be. You need one person to steer you in the direction of good, good. It's like a moral compass. We've got Micah there. Whatever she says is probably what's for the best in morality causes. Everybody else obviously I have no problem with the things that they're saying, but we do need like a true north where it's like, okay, was this really fucked up? Let's see what Micah's to say. Yeah, I didn't really care for that. Exactly. She's our go to person. Let's check in with Micah. It was fucked up. All right. Thank you, Micah. Next time do it with a puppet. That was fucked up. That would be great. I hope she brings a puppet into this somehow. Oh, God. Like we need at least one scene where they're arguing and there's a puppet involved, please. Yeah. But the episode ends with Kimmy and Missy sitting down. And again, Kimmy is not apologizing. She is, but she's not. But it's so hard to describe because she's remorseful, but not for what she did, but for the fact that Missy's sensitive. So she said, look, this is who I didn't know you were so sensitive. Right. You're so sensitive that I can't make fun of your dead brother like Jesus. All right. Like I won't do it in the future. Sorry. Yeah. Cry baby. But she's not really apologizing for saying it. She's just apologizing for Missy being upset and saying in the future, I'll do better to not upset you now that I know how you are on the same side. I kind of like you because you got balls, you know, you got balls. I fuck with you. And like that's what's great with a person like Missy or Kimmy. Sorry. She's like the no bullshit person. Like she's going to straightforward tell you what's up no matter what. You might not like it, but she's going to do it with a smile and you're probably going to have a drink with her later on. Even Missy's like, I can't really stay mad at this woman and they end up squashing it, which is even better. I think Kimmy does enough to get it. Missy's head about Margo somehow. She's like, you guys need to talk about it, but I think it's going like spinning in her head. Like is Margo the problem? I think this whole conversation is very fine and very warranted too, because we don't really know how far they go back. I mean, it's still early in the season. They may only know each other sparingly. So this is weirdly a boundaries conversation where it's like, okay, yeah, I don't really know you that well. Maybe I did something that was insensitive to you, not necessarily to everybody. And I apologize for that. The fact that it disrupted your sensitivity. I didn't know that you were that sensitive. So now I do know. Now we've got boundaries. So I won't cross that boundary again. I'm sure she will, but I won't cross that boundary again now that I know where that line is. Maybe she won't honestly. I really don't. I think she's got like some, she's got some fucked up moral compass. Like it is there, but it's just kind of a little edgy. Now, but like it's a conversation that needed to have like to be had. So yeah, now that we've cleared the air and we understand all of this, I'm okay with you. I love you actually. I think you've got balls of steel. I appreciate what the way you do this. I respect the shit out of you. You've you're sitting down with me and taking it on the chin and still walking out of there. Like, you know what? We're not going to see eye and eye fuck you. You could have folded, but you didn't fold. And I respect the hell out of that. Now for Margo, let's talk about Margo. She played a very intrusive role in all of that. Don't you think, Missy? Now that we're friends, we can talk about this. I love that. It's such a great move. It's such an incredible conversation to have because again, like it's so early on that it just seems like, and we've seen this on a bunch of different shows, people just want to have a sticking point. Like, you know what? No, I'm going to make sure this lasts all season. Instead, we've got a group of people that are like, yeah, all right. I understand where you're coming from. We can move on. We don't really need to dwell on all of that, which I love. And we could just move on to the next topic, which is incredible. I wonder how much of that has to do with high society in London, you know, because it's a lot of chatter and I think a lot of them have probably been through a lot. A lot in public eye and a lot of scrutiny, which makes the show so good too, because they're not really worried about tarnishing, quote unquote, tarnishing their image because they've already been through so much. And the UK media is weirdly more ravenous than our media. So I'm sure that all of them individually have gone through a lot. If not gone through a lot in their actual lives. So this is just child's play. Like, oh, whatever. We're going to have it out on national TV in America. And yeah, it's going to get played here, but not many people are going to watch it. Who cares? Let's do whatever the hell we want. Well, it's working incredibly well. And this sets up, I think we got the mid-season trailer. They might have been only doing like a 10 episode run for the first season, which it makes sense. I hope we get 20 next season. Careful what you wish for. But if it continues like this, then they should make this show all year round and just have cameras on all the time. But yeah, I agree with that. It is a very nice reprieve from the summer house shit because that's been all consuming. She were caught out of work today. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. But tired because of all of the hoopla. We didn't even put questions up our apologies. We like this is our second episode of the day. We did summer house earlier. We've been making reels and and comment. Yeah. So it's been a hell of a day. But hell of a show too. You know, hell of a show. Fantastic show. That's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. No, that's our show, bro. Brozer head. Reality TV is messy. Pop culture is louder than ever. And the internet. Completely unhinged. Welcome to Roxanne and Chantel. Yet the system built to protect her failed and Oakley disappeared. Her community still calls her name. Or Ellen Greenberg found in her locked apartment with 20 stab wounds. A case declared a suicide. But how does a locked apartment tell two different stories at once? These are not just cases we have covered. They are people. They were loved and they mattered. Their stories deserve to be told with care, with depth, with truth. I'm Ashley. And I'm Ricky. We are the husband and wife duo behind Crime Salad.
