You are back beneath a blood moon and listening to Curse of Stradania, the legend of Aventus podcast. Last time, I got married. Before that, the Azran expedition hatched their plan to sabotage the ceremony. Like the hundreds of innocents I have hostage in my castle. When the time arrived, it truly was beautiful. But unfortunately, the marriage lasted a handful of seconds, as my newly betrothed bride stabs me in the neck and initiated the doom of Brovia. I did get my revenge when my four horsemen annihilated every last wedding guest, including the meddling madameva. Now all that's left is to fight to our destinies. This episode is brought to you by our generous supporters on Patreon. We now also have a merch store where you can browse more than 20 amazing Aventus themed designs. You can buy a shirt or become a patron yourself by following the link in the show notes. We are eternally grateful for your support. With that out of the way, let us proceed with the conclusion of Chapter 20, Lament of the Damned. The dead surround you. Hundreds of Barovians, including friends and allies you've made over the past weeks, lay slain. Their flesh is withered and cinched from the necromanic Armageddon that has massacred them all. The stench of death is almost overwhelming. The blood in your veins becomes your own once again and you slowly regain full mobility. However, calm has not yet returned as you see from the corners of the room Stradonius Horseman, formerly Sergais Knights, have withered into their true forms. Where once was a naturally preserved flesh is now nothing but smoking skeletons animated by necromanic magic. The death knights atop their skeletal steeds descend from their pedestals and turn their weapons to the floor. Their sword, scythe, flail and lance glow with a single pulse of magic and you see four slaughtered corpses rise into the air and begin to twist and thrash about in undead mindlessness. There's a familiarity to these corpses. As the zombies are lifted into the air by the horseman's power and placed on the vacated pedestals, you come to see that these, once lifeless corpses, are not unknown to you. You know these freshly animated bodies. Where Ser Varro once stood, now stands Rahadin, the turned dusk elf, the turned dusk elf swinging his scimitar wildly as the screams of all the souls he slain project from within him. Where Ser Corden once stood, now stands Isaac, his demonic arm even more grotesque in its fiendish flame now the color of a sickly green. Where Dame Blanchent once stood, now stands Davian Mardakov, his splintered staff reformed and twisted in the shape of thorny choking roots. Where Ser Zelensky once stood, now stands Father Lucian, his robes tattered and his hollow eyes shining with terrible white light. The energy along the walls rise and expands to cocoon them in the corners of the room as the four horsemen wordlessly turn towards you and make their last charge. I need everyone to roll for initiative. Oh my god! Let's go! Fuck yeah. This is it. Don't let me down. Don't let me down, Wormwood. Very good, very good. Oh well. This is it! What are you gonna say? This is it! I got a ten. Oh I didn't do that. I'll ask in the second. I know what to say. Oh. Guys I'm scared. Okay, 20 to 25. 22. 22. Yeah. Thank you, Professor. Guys we got an initiative card. They look so fucking cool. 15 to 20. Well, alright. Well, shucks. 10 to 15. 7. Gad Zeus. What did you guys get? 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 10. 3. Oh my gosh. I got a three. And you got a three. You don't have to say it like that. A three. It's a lot of cards up there that aren't our pictures. I'm gonna get it. Yes. Shmash. Shmash. Oh boy. Oh boy. Buckle up everyone. Alright. 10. 10. 10. Alright. It is in this moment that all of the horsemen ride for battle. They are holding these bodies aloft above their podiums. As you watch all of them glow with a sickly light, they seem to be in a strange magical sphere as they begin to charge. All of the quadrants beneath you begin to glow with eerie colors, purple, green, blue and white. And with that, wrath of the wedding guests. What is that? You will deal with anyone inside of the green quadrant. Get right. I need you to make a deck saving throw for me please. Oh no. Am I technically outside of all quadrants? What was the word? Blow. You're in blue. I'm in blue. Okay. I'm going to use Indomitable because I probably fail at 11. Oh my goodness gracious. It's a great start. Oh no. These different dice. Come on, come on, come on, come on. Come on, Conor! Oh wow, that was actually worse. Do I twist this? I probably got it. Alright. Deck saving throw, 9. Let's go. I'm just taking damage here. Yeah. The horseman charge into battle. Ezek's monstrous fiery arm erupts from Sir Corden's corner, chaotically blasting flame all over the entirety of the area. All undead creatures must succeed on this and you are going to take 24 fire damage. Okay. Flip it. It's a chunk. Ah! Oh fuck! I'm going to start with me. Then I need purple. Oh that's me. Oh I got it. What saving throw is it? I need you to make a strength saving throw. Strength saving throw. It is, ooh it's not bad, it's a 20. Plus 1d4 to save throws thanks to Hero's Beast. Oh, I didn't add that. I was up for some... 24. 24. Davian's mastery of plants holds through in death, in Dame Blanchett's corner. As you watch as roots begin to sprout up, corrupted roots all over the ground. Damn it. Oh god. They begin to pull at you but they are unable to restrain you. Alright, alright. My plan is still in question. I still have my plan. I need white. That'd be me. Yours truly. I need you to, I need you to make a con saving throw for me please. That's pretty damn good. Con you say, that's gonna be 19, 20, 21, 22, 25. Father Lucian still holds his power over the light even in death. In Cersolensky's corner, as a burst of blinding, horrible, corrupted light radiates in his quadrant. You are able to shield your eyes, but you imagine had you looked up, you would have been blinded by the light. I'm getting the hell out of this quadrant. I'm gonna have to search it. And lastly, I need blue. That's us. Wisdom saving throw from the both of you please. I provisioned that and we're advantage right? No, no, no. Plus D24. I want to save you for a stop. Oh, it's not advantage? No, no, not to my knowledge. Whoops, I wrote that down. Okay, I feel okay about that. D4. I could be wrong. Double check me. I feel okay with that. I got a 20. Do you want to keep it? I got a 20. Three. The phantom power of Rahideen channels and the dead of Barovia scream through his risen corpse in Suravara's corner. You are able to withhold your countenance as the screams of thousands of murdered innocents bellows out within this chamber. You imagine it would have been very bad in the genocency. I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you. Shepper. With that, Shepper, it's your turn. All right. Oh my god. I'm going to await. She's not here. I got a 20. And you can tell me colors. So you can be like, oh, white. I'm going to attack green since it will be harder to remember their names. Stradonis, right? Can I ask two questions? Yes. Did we see Stradonia? She missed the lead. She missed the lead. She missed the lead. She fell through the floor. Yeah, went through the floor. Okay. And then Sergei, what happened here? Sergei's here. He's got an initiative. Okay. That concludes the question. Oh, nine hells. We really kicked the hornets' nests on this one. What is this? That's 15, right? Seven and a half, seven and a half. Seven and a half. Seven and a half. Sarnax, don't move. I'm coming to you. I'm going to attempt to leave my quadrant. I think, and I will slayers pray and hunters mark the death night behind Sarnax as my action and bonus action. So what I will say is all of the colors are connected, so there you would either be, you'd be in the corner of one of those colors. You need to choose what's like your still in the white. Still white. Gotcha. Okay. They're all dead. They're all dead. Which one, did this feel like particularly worse than the others, this blue corner here? In what sense? In what, meaning like, like did it seem more horrific? Was I more scared about this than seeing everything else going on? I would say it was all equally horrific. That's pretty bad. I'll say, we need to find Fredonia. I'm going to bonus action, jump, Missy Step this way. And I'll say, I'll cast Arcan Blast. That's four beams, right? At which color? At blue. My lowest is a 23. That hits. Okay. 26 damage to Revonis. All right. You let loose magic into Sir Ravara. As it slams into him, you can see bits of his decaying flesh explode and pop off of him. It is Sir Corden's turn. Sir Corden is in the green corner. He's going to use his movement speed as he lets out a yell. His flail swinging as the air as he's going to run charge towards Kana. He is going to use his bonus action and he's going to charge up his staggering smite as he makes two melee attacks against you. 27 for the staggering smite hit. That hits. And 29 for the second one. They both hit. And these are just regular attacks, not spells. Yes. Yes. 13 bludgeoning. Okay. 31 fire damage. 16 psychic damage and I need a whiz saving throw from you, please. Yeah, so I was wrong. It's not 1d4. It's just advantage on the saving throws. Oh, okay. 1d4 comes from one of my perks. I don't have a gun to give the code. I am... So 18. All right, that passes as you're able to, as you take the damage, but you are unaffected by the additional effects of the staggering smite. And this is Damien? That's like corrupted here? No. So Damien, all of the corpses are held aloft over their pedestals. They're not doing anything, but affecting the room itself. The horsemen are attacking him. What have they done to you? Ezek is in this corner. Ezek. What's the linsk? And Sir Zelensky. Thanks, Mike. It's going to take a round or so to get used to this. Sir Zelensky in the white corner is going to charge 60 feet towards Shepard. Could you imagine a fucking guy with a skeletal horse with a lance charging across that room? I'd rather not. Hundreds of corpses. Is he right in front of you? No problem. You watch as he begins to glow with an undead, unearthly white light as he strikes the ground. He is using blasphemy. I need all of you. I mean, when it was within 30 feet, which should be all of you, except for Sarnak, to make a consaving throat for coins. Cool coins. It's just okay. Right? He could move around. Yeah, he would position himself in a way to hit as many of you as possible. He could probably move past me. He could probably get all of us. So if you like charge through and I'm here, we'll let him. Is it 60? That's 30. So four is 60. Yeah, I mean, how far did you say he moved? 60. He can go wherever he wants. Yeah. So he'll probably go there. Yes. So he's going to position himself to be able to be within 30 feet of as many of you as possible, and then I need you to make a constitution saving throat, please. Boom. 21. Ooh, yeah. Is this a spell? He's a con, right? No, it is not. 24. I am going to use Indomitable again to reroll this. Much better. Con 26. Okay. Did anybody get below 17? Clayton, you will take 20 radiant damage, followed by 26 necrotic damage. You are knocked prone and under the effect of Bane. Bane! Everyone else will take half the damage you are not affected by Bane. As you watch as this dark, corrupted divine energy ripples out from Thurzelensky. All of you feel it sinking into your skin, into your bodies. Clayton, you feel it more than the others as your skin begins to singe away. You feel a strangeness over your head. You are not in top form. Back of the house, kill him all! Step on kill him, kill him! It was 21 and 26. So it was 20 radiant and 26 necrotic. You take half of each of those. 23. 23. If we cast. Holy moly. I will look around and raise my lantern. I'll see that. I haven't been singed. I'll look and I'll say, What power is it, Liss, to turn even a man of God to use such blasphemous power? We must bring an end to all of them! And then I'm going to turn to the one that I've seen Shepard trying to fire at. And I will pull out my scroll that I got from Death House. Oh my god. And I'll say, it is about time I use this. And I rip it in half. And it completely tears. And a spiritual, a flaming dagger appears and makes, and can you put that next to Blanchette? Is that her name? Blanchette, yes. Blanchette is purple. Blanchette. And then I am going to... They have their names on here. It's just hard to read. Blanchette. And I will make a spell attack against that just real quick. That is going to be a 21 to hit. That hits? God, I hope that hits. Okay, cool. That is going to be, oh god, why am I rolling? I cannot believe you just did that. That is going to be 11 points of force damage. And then I am going to turn and I will just raise my lantern and say, you will all be purged in holy fire. And then I need to make a dexterity saving throw as I cast Sacred Flame on it. It's going to pass. Okay. All right. Kana. I am going to see Sarnax behind... I'm sorry, not Sarnax. Shepherd behind me. I'm going to show up. How are you guys doing? Is everyone okay? Yeah. Okay. I feel like I'm sleeping right there. I don't know what's happening. I'm just sobbing. I'm going to use a bonus action to channel my fighting spirit. As a gust of wind swirls around me and emboldens my Naginata, I'm going to make a horizontal attack. All of these are going to be at advantage. And I will forgo my last attack as an advantage to give me a fifth attack on this and grant myself 15 temporary hit points. On which of the horsemen? The green one. I'm sorry. I'm not sure their name. Horton. We can use color. Horton. See you. Natural fucking twi! He's going to use his reaction. Oh no, it won't matter. Yeah, he's natural 20. But he is going to use his reaction on one of these. Okay. Sorry. Sorry. Natural 20. 2d10. I'm going to give it up. I'm going to give it up. I'm going to give it up. I'm going to give it up. I'm going to give it up. Horton is 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. 11. Third attack that should hit with a 26. Yep, that hits. Six three plus eight. So it's gonna be another 11. And then these are just two separate attacks. Five attacks each. Who this one will probably miss 17. That misses 24. He is going to use his reaction. You watch as he takes his lance and he blocks you as he parries the attack, adding additional AC and making the attack miss. The last one I'm gonna hop up on the pew in front of me as my blade is coming down, my knees are bent, slamming right into the staff. And then I hop back onto the pew and I'm kind of teetering back and forth and I get back down into a low stance. Couple of the... Dame Blanchett is going to charge forward. She is straight towards Sarnax. She is going to, you watch as she swings her side You can hear it whistling through the air. She spins it above her head. She uses her bonus action to cast Staggering Smite on it and she's going to make both attacks into Sarnax. Oh boy. Both of them are going to hit. Good morning Flair on the first one. Disadvantaged to blind her. Yep, that's cool, thanks. I got that natural one out of the way. Good, good. I'm still in smitten. Well, not if you did it on the first one. No, wait, just keep it until the next one. You're right, you're right, it's on him. Thelm, that is going to be, I'll do that. The damage from that. Oh no, oh no! A 19 points of psychic damage and a wisdom saving throw please from the Staggering Smite. Very high, like 30, over 30. So you'll take the damage, but you are unaffected by the rest of Staggering Smite. Okay. 12 points of slashing damage and you are going to take 26 points of poison damage as the scythe slashes down into you. It's poison blade rending your flesh. And that is her turn. Sir Rivara in the blue corner is going to charge in. Just try it. He's going to charge directly towards Clayton. Oh no! Professor, get up! No, he's coming! And even though he is mounted, it is still melee combat, so he will be at advantage on you. As he also uses his bonus action, you watch as his sword ignites with a blue unearthly radiance as he channels his Staggering Smite. He is going to make two attacks on you. First one's gonna hit and your second one is going to miss. Right, he's 26. Yeah, no, I would've missed. And so the first one, the Staggering Smite, is still going to hit. I need you to make a wisdom saving throw, please. I did it. Oh man. And don't forget your bane. I was trying to stay forward. 18 plus six is 24. Okay, so you are able to save against the Staggering Smite as you feel his sword sink into your flesh. You are able to withstand some of the magics pumping into you from it, but you are still going to take 10 points of psychic damage as well as... Was this just a half of the psychic damage? Seven, no. Okay, I succeeded. As well as seven slashing and... You're having it for me? What? You're having it for me? No, so you saved against the additional abilities on Staggering Smite. Got it, got it, okay. So you take the damage I told you, but then you don't have a disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and have no reactions. Yikes, that would be very good. And then, but you also take the long sword damage, so you're also going to take rolling really hot tonight, thank you, dice. 30 points of necrotic damage. We're actually just boned. Don't forget your healing. Someone save me, please. Don't be scared. So, Ravara slowly slides his blade into your body. You wiggle against the cold steel of it. Cold steel? And that is, yeah, Victoria. So I'm sobbing, I'm crying. Stradonia, I could have saved you. I was going to free you. And as I'm crying, my tears will start to turn into like a dark light and rays and like float up above my head and I will cast Crown of Stars. Oh, yes! Yes! Yes! You mean not chill, Tuck? Yeah. Thank you! Clippy appears behind you. You see you're trying to cast Cast. Would you like to cast? I would like to cast. I would like to cast. Mean chill, Tuck. A little squiggly. The red line shows up under it. Suggestions, chill, Tuck. Suggestions, so good. And so I will spin around towards Rahadi. To blue, so the people you know are suspended animated corpses that are above the pedestals the horsemen had been cast in. They essentially animated them and are using them to cast these. So that's why it's Wrath of the Wedding Guests that affects, is happening because of them. The horsemen are individual horsemen. Okay, and so I'll. That's Ravara. Ooh, horsemen. I'll face around to the one that charge. I'm actually gonna write on these so you can blue. Gotcha. So I'll swing around. In this place. And I will use a bonus action to cast Moat out at What's In My Barb. Silver and blue. Yeah. Yeah. So 11-11 is 22, 25 to hit. 25 hits. And you said this was to Ravara? Ravara. Okay, blue. Yeah, blue. 34 radiant damage. You watch as the shadows swirl around Victoria's. These moats of shadow appear over her head. And as she lets loose a few of these moats, you watch as they fly through midair, they appear to take the form of Raven's feathers. As they sink deep within Ravara, dealing a significant amount of damage. Hell yeah. All right, it is Sergei's turn. Is in this moment that you watch Sergei step away. He moves away from you, his face looking nervous. He surveys the battle and you see a tear run down his face as his former friends and comrades fight to kill every last one of you. He then turns to the large double doors of the cathedral, protected by the barrier of blood magic and draws the Sun Sword. I cannot raise my blade against my friends. I'm sorry, but I will get us out of here. Please comrades, put these noble knights to rest. The Sun Sword ignites and blazing golden radiance as Sergei charges the door and thrust the radiant blade into the bloody barrier. The magics collide with a crackling snap as he grits his teeth and focuses on channeling the divine might of the morning Lord to banish the crimson energy. Fuck yeah. We need a mini form. Yeah, he's at the door. Or D2 or something? No, he's fine. He's been removed from the fight. As Sergei rushes towards the door, he watches all of the quadrants of the room begin to ignite again. I need. Do we just all roll? Yeah, I need you all to roll. I wrote it all down. And then tell me if anybody gets below a 15. Purple is strength, blue is wisdom I think, green was dex, white was. Why was cars? Oh, I am on fire today. 20, baby. Oh God, I need to twist. I'm gonna twist too. Twist. I'm gonna twist too. Okay, I'm out of mana. Okay, perfect. I pass. 19. 25. 22. That'd be one comfortable. Did anyone get below a 15? I don't think so. Who is in the green quadrant? I am. As once again, Ezex's monstrous fiery arm erupts in Sir Corden's corner. A blast of flame ignites the entire quadrant. You will take half of this. You'll take half of 12, so six fire damage. Davion, you are too pure for this. I will set you to rest. Shepherd. I'm still hanging on there, Sarnax. I'm gonna move the remaining 30 feet. And as I get to Sarnax, I'm going to reach out a hand and say, come on, brother, we can do this. Yes, Shepherd, we can. And remember, keep moving. And as soon as he grabs my hand, I cast Freedom of Movement on him. Oh, shit. I will, Shepherd. And that's my turn. And you moved into purple. Purple. I need you to make a saving throw, a dead, or a strength, sorry. Sure, and I probably take an opportunity attack from the White Knight. Oh, you would. And it will hit. Oh, so a strength. You said strength. Yes, it is the same as 16. Strength, that passes. So you are, you're trudging through the thorns as they try to climb up around you and restrain you, but you are able to move through them with a swiftness. However, Sir Zelensky, as you pass by, he is going to take his lance. You think that you've made your way past him as he is going to slide it into your back right between your shoulder blades, narrowly missing your spine as he is going to do 14 points of piercing damage. And 22 points of radiant damage. This is 36. Okay, and then Sarnax, you cannot be, you are unaffected by difficult terrain and spells and other magic effects that will neither reduce your speed nor cause you to be paralyzed or restrained. Hell yes, thank you, Sir. And you can also spend five feet of movement to automatically escape from non-magical restraints such as manacles or creature that has grappled and being underwater doesn't matter. Awesome. Okay. Um. Thank you, Sir. Thank you, Shepard. I will, I'm getting off the ground. I'll, uh. Thank you for helping me. You're welcome to talk to you. And I'm going to blink or misty step one, two. Let's see, one and a half, two and a half. I can't go there. I'm gonna try to blink, try to get away from them. I guess that's not really gonna do much. I'm gonna try to get away from them. And then I'm gonna try to run one, two, three and a half, four and a half, or I'm gonna basically go back to like this corner here, running. No, Sir. I think we're going to die here. Sir, okay, please hurry up. And I will, as an action, I will, I will say Mono Maxima and I will cast a big arcane hand on a location here. And I will. Lucas' hand. I will make it do a, can I grasp it? Yeah. Are these huge creatures? They are large. Okay. Sorry, with the bases, it's hard to tell because they're. They're Warhammer bases. Yeah. They are large. I'm going to send it after this. I think I have to panic out here. Revar, I am. You cast it like 60 feet away or something crazy. And I am going to use grasping hand. So I'm going to attempt to grapple a huge or smaller creature within five feet. And so I guess we make a contest. Yep. So you need to roll a, roll an athletics jack. What's the DC? It's against mine. I'm going to use my inspiration. I'm going to use my inspiration. Yeah, I was big to be a hand-as-fucking guy. 22. Can I twist this? Twist it. Yes. Yes. Twist it. Thank you, Jack. Thank you, Jack. Thank you, Jack. You got a 22? Yes. I think I can never fail. So that's fine. I will, I will destroy it there. Is that your turn? All right. It is their cordon's turn. I completely forgot about my lair action. So I'm going to do one now. You watch as all of them raise their weapons towards the sky as they channel will of the four. They are all resistant to damage for the next until initiative round 20. Oh, shit. 20? Yeah, so for the rest of the round. For the next round. They're all resistant to damage. And so that is going to be that. Sir Porton is then going to, where is he at? He is green. He's in front of Kana. He is going to look down at you, Kana, but you're going to see his skeletal face stares at you. The rotting and decaying eyeballs that seem to be left as they're slowly melting from his face turn towards the rest of the group. As he raises his flail towards the sky, he begins to whip it around. You all hear the sound before you feel the heat. He is casting Hellfire Comet in a 20 foot radius sphere centered around Blanchett. So Shepard, Sarnax and potentially Clayton, if he can do it. Yeah, that gets us. I need you all to make a dexterity saving throw. 29 points of fire damage, or half if you succeed. Okay. And... I got a 21. And 31 points of necrotic or half if you... 15. Save. 15. This is rough. We need to start doing some fucking damage. Well, it takes me like a turn to get set up. I'm getting a swish of smoke that way. Sir Zelensky is then going to charge forward if he's not in front. He is white, and he has Victoria in front of him. He is going to cast Staggering Smite on his lance. That is a spell. I'm gonna... Yeah. Is that a spell? I'm gonna let it happen. As he makes two attacks against Victoria. And both of them are gonna hit. Oh my god. So the first one is going to do a total, I will roll the Staggering Smite first. I'm so squishy. 13 points of psychic damage, and then I need you to make a wisdom saving throw please. DC 17. Oh my god. I'm getting a lot of natural ones today. Can I twist? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Got to twist the natty ones. Yeah. That's like the third one I've gotten today. That's not a good sign. Oh god. It's all right, we're getting him out of the way. 10. You are, you find yourself as he slams his lance down, he slices through you doing a total of... Oh he hits twice. I only roll for one attack. So he hits 14 piercing damage as he pierces into you. His blade with the white necrotic light is also going to do 23 radiant damage to you for the first hit. So 14, 13 and 23. That is for his first hit. You also feel as the damage begins to take control of you, you're now disadvantaged on your attack rolls and ability checks. And you have no reactions until the end of your next turn. Disadvantage. And he is going to attack an ability. Yeah, attack ability. No reactions. 17 piercing damage. On two. Two. This is the second hit. You're gonna allow it, huh? He wouldn't stop the damage. I can only counter once, I'm saving for something bigger. 12 radiant damage. As once again, he pierces you with the lance. That is Sir Zelensky's turn. Coughing up blood. I am going to... I'm going to stay where I am and I am going to look around and I will say, Karex, see us through in this desecration place. And I am going to first cast out my little fella. He's not so little anymore, he's a big fella as he's grown up. And a flaming dragon appears right next to me. And Blanchet needs to make a dexterity saving throw. She will do that. Yes, we've bowed. And she is gonna get 21. That will succeed, she'll take half of, she'll take five points of damage total, a fire damage. And then I am going to cast Mass Cure Wounds as healing light. It should hit everyone and I will roll that. I'll roll that while we continue onward. Oh, and they're resistant, so they would actually only take two damage. Oh yeah, two damage. Yeah, no, I'm so glad you reminded me that they did that. Yikes. Okay, perfect. Yes, and so, Kana. I wanna pier behind me at the pedestal that's currently Izak's arm. And I wanna see if that is what's powering, if I can make sense of what, if that is powering green. I would say you could see that they are what is, what is channeling it, but there is a force barrier around them that you're not able to get to them. Okay. So there would not be a way to save them. 25 points of healing to everyone. Okay, thank you. You're welcome. You're welcome. Yeah, it's essentially like a force cage in a spell that you're unable to get through. And will the four, do I see something happening to him in front of me? You see that all four of the horsemen seem to be radiating a necrotic energy. Necrotic energy, okay. I'm gonna see the chaos that's happening behind me. I'm gonna bonus action, channel my equipment, blossoms of the spring breeze to use my exodus retreat charge, which will allow me to dash as a bonus action, moving at incredible place. So this is concentrate, or I don't think I concentrate on this, right? So this is part of my vestige or do I? No. Okay. I don't believe so. 10 minutes. So from beneath my armor, kind of this golden radiance will begin to glow and it almost like in autumn, these golden yellow petals will sort of fall and to the ground and whip around my feet. As for my action, I will barrel over the pews, taking the dodge action, using my bonus action to dash behind me. All attacks against me will be at disadvantage as I make my way closer towards my friends. And Sir Corden is going to attempt to make an opportunity attack. And you said it's a disadvantage. It's a dodge. Well, I got a natural 20 and a 17, so we're just going down. All right. I'm gonna take half damage of this because of my vestige. 12 points of bludgeoning damage, as well as 21 points of fire damage as the flail swings around and it's able to catch you as you move away. I'm hanging, hanging on, I'm cutting. And I'm gonna move, I'm here, five, 10, 15, 20, 25. Let's see. Actually, I wanna stay here. Protects Victoria. That's still within 30 feet of her, right? This is closer to her. Yeah, I'm on. I'll put it here. I'm on. I'm on. Yeah, I'm on. Yeah, I'll put it here. Okay, and I just entered purple, so do I need to make a save? Yes, you need to make your save. Which one is it? Purple is... Strength. Strength savings, bro. DC 15. Yeah, you crush it. Okay. You crush it. 22? Yeah, you feel Davian's roots begin to climb up on your body, but you're strong enough is you rip them away from you and you trudge through this to get to your friends. I am going to, as I see Kana coming over, I'll raise my lantern, I'll look around, I'll see all these corpses, and I'll see the altar of the morning lord, where Sergei was able to commune with and get the information on the hairpin, and I will call out to everyone, we must get to the altar, everyone! And then that is gonna be what I say. What you say. It is then Dame Blanchett's turn. She is going to turn towards who is near her. Sarnax is directly in front of her. She is going to turn towards Sarnax, and she is going to charge up a staggering smite as well, and she is going to make both of her attacks against Sarnax. That will hit. Oh, a warding flare, one of them. Okay. It'll still hit. Nine points of slashing damage for the first hit. Nine points, okay. Yep, I'm going to Sarnax. Twenty-one points of poison damage for the first hit. Six points of slashing damage. Two points. Okay. Eighteen points of poison damage for the second hit. So that is Dame Blanchett's turn. She used both of her attacks on Sarnax. Okay. Sir Rivera is going to... He is going to charge towards... Yeah, I guess he's just going to charge toward Victoria. She's right in his way. So he is going to charge towards Victoria. I'm just fucked. Why did everyone leave Victoria? I'm fine. He's going to charge up his staggering smite as he makes two attacks. I counter-spell it. Roll for it. I'm still going to have two attacks against you. Fuck you, blue guy! One of those is going to miss, but one is going to hit. It's where I... Oh, yeah. You hold your hand up, you counter-spell his staggering smite as he begins to imbue his sword with the necromanic magic. But you watch as it pops and fizzles out. He still is able to pierce into Victoria as he slices through her, rending some of your dress from your body, not in a pervy way. A little pervy. A little pervy. Yeah, nice. And he is going to do nine points of slashing, 13 points of necrotic damage. I'll use my reaction to Corstein River 30 feet away, leap to her side as I dash and take the necrotic damage instead for her. Aw. That's friendship. That's very nice. I'm here! I'm here, Victoria! I will protect you, I swear! And Victoria, it is your turn. That shakes up what I was going to do. You have disadvantage on your attack rolls, and you have new reactions. The quadrants still will be here. Okay. So I... And I'll look up at the guy with the white... I keep forgetting their names. Zelensky. Zelensky. I will look up at Zelensky and kind of laughing and sobbing. My eyes will turn black, and I will cast Eye Bite. Ooh! Okay, okay, okay. This is a Sylvie favorite. Yes. So this will be a wisdom saving throw on Zelensky. 19? Oh no! That meets it. Wow. That's bullshit. You're still holding on. It's a concentration spell. So even though he saved against it, he saved against that, but you can still next turn continue to try and do more Eye Bite-y things to other people. Okay. And then I will... Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! Buzzer! And I will call up my Hound of Elven. Yes! Let's give the mini... Let the dogs out plays in the distance. So a huge black slavering Neo-Holotn Master. He will come to my side. He is going to fight attack on Blue. Blue. Alright. Big fell, big blue fella. Look at your fat blue. Man, those dice are not helping out tonight. No, I need to switch to my other dice. Oh fuck. Okay, so that's probably... I'm assuming that's just gonna last 9 to hit. No, that misses. Yeah, okay, yeah hard. So he'll just work and snap. He does that and I messed this up so I'll ignore that for this round. I need everyone to roll their saving throws for me please. Nobody's in green, it looks like everybody's in purple. Oh god, what am I gonna do to that? Literally everybody's in purple. I fire baby. I'm on a roll tonight. So god. Let me know if anybody gets beneath a 15. Natural one, we'll see what happens. Am I still base? How long did this beam last? It lasts for a minute. She gets 10 rounds. You may. You can try. He's in my... Yep. It's alright. It's purple strong. Strength, I pass. I pass. I fail. I pass. I pass 18. He's rolling so poorly. You failed as well Kelsey. Alright, Sarnatch, you feel the tendrils of father Lucian's corrupted roots begin to wrap themselves around you and you are now grappled and restrained. I would be... Oh! As the coursing fire that our manly bromance handshake did, as the roots wrap around me, they just ignite in the flame and I'm like, Shepherd, unleash the flame within your soul. We will bring an end to this now. Thank you. As this happens, Victoria, not only do you begin to hear the pounding, the robbing screams of Rahadin just screaming into you, the tortured souls of thousands upon thousands, but this image of Sarnatch holding the flame alight terrifies you to your very core. You are now frightened for a minute. You must use reaction which you didn't have. Oh no, it's the end of your turn. Oh, I can't be frightened. You're as vise. I can't be frightened. Yeah, there you go. All right. Well, Dan. Thank you. But you still use your reaction to drop what you're holding. No, you can't because you're not frightened. So no, I guess it doesn't do anything. So I guess we'll stop rolling for Rahadin. I should stop with that. So, with that, it is... Yeah, that was wrath of the wedding guest, Shepherd. All right, time to let him off. I'm going to make free tacks on purple. Are they still resistant? On purple? Yeah, they're purple. Oh, yeah. They are, no, until an initiative round 20. So they are no longer free tacks. What are we going to make free tacks? The lowest is a 21 to hit. That those... He's going to use his reaction to block one of them. It would be most advantageous for you to block the first. Okay. You will block the first. And this is on... Blanche. Blanche. 12. Got this. 12 is 24 plus 9 is... 33 plus 16 is 49. 49 points of damage. If you need to know, eight of it is radiant. Okay, thanks. All right. You let loose bolts of force damage, blasts from judgment and redemption, and two of them are able to sink into Blanche's... To the altar, Shepherd. Withered... Withered decaying flesh, and she takes a significant amount of damage. Is the altar in the middle? Yeah. I don't want to go that way, Sarnag. And you're moving... I'm going to move towards Kana. I will attempt to move. Were you in... Yeah, you were in melee range? No, I was not. I was behind Sarnag. Unless she has reach. Oh, yeah. If Blanche got a reach... That's a big old fucking weapon. Yeah, well, she doesn't. Okay. That's five. So I'll just move towards Kana. Try and make it slightly thinner. So I'm kind of, as I'm firing at Blanche, I'm backing up and I get back to back. I bump into Kana. That actually makes sense, because a sight you actually kind of get in. Yeah, you get in. That's my hair. All right. Clayton. Lucas, please help me this time! And I'm going to bonus action, and I will send my guy up here again, and I will send Lucas's hand and try to grasp him again. All right. So it's another strength contest. I'm a bar. And now I know the stat. Can I twist this? You may. Sure? Yeah. Thank you. Morning Lord Blessings upon you. What did you get? Oh, I got a nine. I got a 17. No, he got a 20. So Lucas's hand will grip around Sir Ravara. Ravara. And crush him doing, let's see here, 2d6 plus five. I think it's bludgeoning damage. It's 11 bludgeoning damage. Ravara. I'm sorry, what did you say? So he takes 11 magical bludgeoning damage. And then I will drag him. I moved 510, and then I can move him like one and a half, that's 15, which is 30, I think I can go like, I can go... That's 30 now. So then, now with my new ability, which of the Azrens, I can do this. Pull out my case and pull out a... A drop of molasses, and I will cast Slow on a 44 Q this way of creatures that I choose. On the three of them, they need to make a... Nice. Come on, come on, come on. Thanks for not slowing me down. It is a whiz saving throw, DC-19. So Ravara got a 27. Oh no. Passes. Blanchet gets a... You said whiz, right? 17. And then the other one is Zelensky, and he gets a 23. Okay, so it only affects... Blanchet. Blanchet. Oh, she can't use reactions then? And she only gets one attack. Oh fuck, I'm just stepping away from that bitch. And if she tries to cast a spell, it might not trigger that. And you are going to stay there? No, I'm going to move closer to the altar, because Sarnax apparently knows what we're doing. Sarnax, don't fuck me. Do not fuck me. Sir Corden in green is going to charge forward, and he is going to try to place himself between Shepherd and Sarnax. Yeah, no problem. Oh boy. 60. 60? Yeah. Just... They can basically go the entire... Okay. Yeah, just place that. So like here? Yeah, that's probably... And he is going to... He is going to, once again, you watch as he channels his magics, empowering his blade with staggering smite. Oh, I hate that. And he is going to make one attack against Shepherd and one attack against Sarnax. Oh, he's like boop boop. As he takes his flayly, swings it from one side to the left. That's badass. And that is going to be a 30 to hit Shepherd. Oh, just misses. And a 20 to hit Sarnax. I would like to... No, I'm going to save my warden players. Sorry. It's fine. You said you'll... Yeah, I got walloped. Shepherd, you are going to take the staggering smite, so I need you to make a wisdom saving throw for me please. I'd love to. 19. Nice. I got like a 35. You are able to shrug off the additional effects of the staggering smite, but you do take... I didn't roll for the damage, but you will take 16 points of psychic damage. Noted. And then you will take 13 bludgeoning damage and 18 fire damage from his flail attack. What about me? Sarnax, you are going to take 14 fire damage. Oh, fuck. Six? Holy hell. Seven bludgeoning damage. Oh, that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Shepherd, how are you? Oh, oh my. I got crushed. Oh my. And that is... Sir Corden, Zelensky in white is going to look down at... who's... it's Kana in front of her. And Victoria. And... and... Yes, Zelensky is not affected by anything. So he is also going to staggering smite. And he is going to bring his first attack down on Kana with his lance. He's actually going to do both against Kana. The lowest of those is a 20 to hit. A 20 does not hit. A 22. Just hits. Barely. So the first one misses. So the staggering... Oh, now because the staggering smite. So he is going to do... I need you to make a wisdom saving throw for me, please. A damage. Ooh, dirty 20. You will take the damage, 14 psychic damage, but you are unaffected by the additional effects of staggering smite. He then pierces into you with his lance, doing six piercing damage. And there we go. I get crossed so hard. 19 points of radiant damage. Is that halved if I pass? No, that's the attack that he hit you with. Oh, okay. So he hit you with the lance, but staggering smite applies additional damage to it. And so you survived the additional effects, but you still take the damage. As he's stabbing it into my chest, I'll yank it out and push it back and I'll be like, nice pull arm. That's all I said. Nice pull arm. Sarnax. Roger, I would like to simply... Can someone give me a 40 foot line, please? If there's a 40 foot line going this way, will I be able to hit everything? This one? 40 foot heading diagonal this way towards the landing. Between white and purple? I wouldn't be able to get Ravara this way, right? No. And you wouldn't be able to get Blanchett because she's behind you. So you get five squares. These two, or if you move, you could get... If you move around her, you could hit all three. So I can do it anywhere. I can do it wherever. So I am going to use my bonus action to poof. As my flame, the fire prince swirls around me and teleports me 30 feet right onto to the altar next to Kana. No, stop it! No, no, I am in between the two guys, next to Shepard and Kana. Oh, it's his name. And then both Zelensky and Corden have to make a dexterity saving throw. And then it's a 1-D-Telt. Zelensky got a 20. Passes, they're going to take half. Corden got higher than 20. 14 points of fire damage each as I appear there. And I'm going to raise my lantern as I place my hand on the altar. And I will say, Garex, this is a holy place despite how desecrated it is. Please, I call on you. I call on the power of your consort. Send the lifebinder. Bring us through the darkness. And with that, you will hear a dragon's roar as my lantern erupts and a shadow of a dragon flies over and a massive burst of dragon's flame completely annihilates everything, bursting all of the bodies as it flies through, hitting everyone except for Suravara. And I'm going to roll 20-D-6. Holy fuck. Do you want to put it in here? Do you have a couple more D-6s? We got a bomb. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 16, I need 17, 18, 19, 19, one more. Thank you. Do you want to put it in here, Mike? Your creepy nails got it. Oh, baby. That's a lot of dice. Okay, we'll just do that. So this is a D-8. So I'm going to count this up real quick. 20, 22, 20, 1s count is 2s. 22, 24, 26. We've got a lot of 1s, though. 26, 28, 30, 30. So 30 there, 30 there. I always feel personally responsible when I do. 30 there. And then... It doesn't do well. I'm sorry. And then I already did those. 35, 37, 40, 45. Jesus Christ. 50. 50. Oh, they need to make the 30 saving throws, though. 50. 50. Holy shit. Sorry, guys. I'm bad at math. 50, 60, 60. 64, Nintendo 64. 70, 73, 75, 70, 77. And then 44 points. Just shy of that. No, 84 points. 84 points of fire damage if they fail. Half if they succeed. On average. And we all heal 84 points. Oh, my god! And this flame singes everything as I use my ultimate upgrade. Zalensky out of 24. I remember it was back then. Rivara got a 20 and Blanche got a 20. And Corden got a 17. So Corden takes the full damage. So what was the full damage? 84. And then 42. Dude, that's big. Big money. 84 plus 42? Oh, 42. 42 if they succeed. So 42 for if they succeed, 84. And then we all heal 84 as the celestial dragon. The shimmering golden red celestial dragon appears in the cathedral and flies and then disappears. As I use my final level 20 Vested Ability because we are fucked. Wait, who did that? That hit just the two of them? No, it hit all three of them. Oh, it hit all three of them? Yeah. Kanna. Sorry. Completely alight now with the healing power of Garex and not on fire this time. She's going to turn around and seeing Sarnax ablaze with radiant glory. She's going to give him a short non. Thank you. Thank you to you. I thank you to Garex. I feel so much better. Oh, fuck. And I'm going to go ahead and make a... I need a cigarette. Yeah, I need a cigarette after that. She is going to see we're all together on the altar. Shepper's right there next to her. So she's going to make four attacks on two attacks on Green and two attacks on... Which my face. Corbin and Zelensky. Good job, Kanna. I raised it. I'm sorry. I have it right now. I'm having a hard time remember. I think that one should hit with a plus 14. So yeah, 20... 21. That hits. Okay. So two... Which one are you? You're hitting Zelensky first? Doing White first, yeah. He's going to use his reaction to negate one of the attacks. Okay. Nice. Those are those hits. So that'll be 29 points of damage. And that's for the first attack. So she's going to slide her Naginata out of the body of Zelensky and she's going to spin it around and stab it behind her with reach into Corbin. One of them has 17 and then another one is like 32. 17 misses, 32 hits. Okay. Okay. Pay B, 18 points of slurshy damage. Got a 10 on that one. Sonics, careful! I'm going to slide it back out after I'm attacked him. I'm not in the game. I'm going to stay where I am. You do this and you can see at this point that Corden is starting to look rough at this point. Okay. Thank you, Firewolf. It's hot. Dame Blanchett is going to charge up the rear directly on top of Clayton. You're on her own, Professor. You watch as Dame Blanchett is going to look down at you. She's going to take the tip of her sight, point it directly at you, and cast Virulent Plague. I need you to make a constitution saving throw for me. Don't forget that you're bane. I'm going to use my reaction to attempt a counterspell. It is not a spell. I'm not going to counterspell. It's her once a day. On me, this needs to roll with some power. Sorry, when I say cast, I just make sure it's doing the ability. That's why I figured I'd ask. Is the DC? The DC is 18. 19. Good job. Who are you with, Bane? That's amazing. Okay. I want to say suck it, but I don't want to make the DS bad. Yeah, no, no. That's that. Well played. Well played. That's her turn. So, uh, Suravara. Thank goodness you took your vitamins this morning, professor. Suravara is going to charge up behind Shepherd. He is going to cast Staggering Snipe on his sword. He's grapple. Can't move. Nice. So he's going to use his action to get out of it? Yes, to get to the counter. Okay. I rolled my contest. Oh. It's Luce's hand. Luce's hand. That doesn't look good. Oh, no, it's okay. It's okay. Little single vision. 20. 24. Oh. Nice. Staggering Snipe. Oh. Save me. Good. Save me. So he, okay. So because of that, he is going to be a great opponent. So he can't do anything. Fuck. I hate you. Thank you, Lucas. That was more, that was more Clayton. Thank you, Lucas. Sorry. No, okay, that's that. Victoria. All right. I will cast my inky black eyes to, uh, Corden in the center, um, and continue eye boogers. Okay. So he needs to roll a wisdom saving throw on from Corden. Yes. No, come on. Wisdom, you say. 19. God. Yes. Ah. Yes, me again. Met it again. Met it. Oh, right now. People. I think Chelsea's been the most foiled person in the entire campaign, like over and over again. Um, so in that case, um, I will, we will set you free and I will use a bonus action to cast a moat over in his direction. Um, you from, I'm trying to remember why you're disabaining on John. I edit it. Oh, because, uh, yes. Okay. What else? What's he going to do? It's for one minute. So six rounds. Kill him before he goes. At the end of your turn, you can, uh, you can make another thing. Oh, I will. So that's a 25 to hit. Uh, yeah, no, that hits. Okay. For Gordon, right? For Gordon. Oh, that was gosh awful. Uh, so it's 18 radiant damage and then I will look down to my side and, uh, have Bartholomew, uh, get a march on to Zalinsky. And he says, eat my shorts. Eat my shorts. No, it's more like, uh, it's my time. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. I love that. I love that. That doesn't sound like a, yeah, it's, that's a, that's a cliff thing. That's Cliff Boots. I've been shepherd with this shit out of some crap. What is the attack? Uh, it was, uh, yeah, but what was the role? Cause it might hit nine. Oh no, that was very low. Um, he's, he's great. It is with that, that they are, you watch as they all channel together and you, you feel the ground around you begin to rumble. The bodies begin to turn this way and that almost as if they're slightly map, um, animated rising from them in shrouded mists of blood are nine bloodstained ghosts of Brovia. So if you could please put these, um, around, I should not be placing these where, yeah, they are going to swarm around you. So it's just like everywhere? Yeah. So try and find someone that they can be on. Oh, okay. Um, and they are going to act on this turn there. So for the purpose of these minis, there are nine ghosts. Each one of the pedestals has three ghosts. So each one of them, um, so it's marked with one, two or three. So if you're hitting ghost cluster one, you would just say I'm hitting one ghost cluster one number one ghost cluster one number two, go so one number three. Um, and that's how those ghosts will work. This isn't good. Um, and let's see, there are three behind Clayton. All three of those are going to make attacks on Clinton. I don't know. There's ghosts. Um, and funny enough, all three of them actually mess. I rolled two ones and a two. Um, and so then the next ones are going, three of them are going to make an attack on shepherd. Yep. Um, two of them hit and one of them misses 15 necrotic damage. And I need you to make a strength saving throw please. Oh boy. That's a six. Your AC is lowered by one for a minute as you undergo the effects of their withering blast or wither withering touch. Okay. My AC 17. Uh, and let's see, there are, oh, that was, that was only one roll. Uh, there were two more roles that needed to happen from that. I'm also there too. Yeah, no, he's going to do it on shepherd. Okay. I'm just saying I'm there. 10, 14. 20 points of necrotic damage and another strength saving throw. Oh my God. Question three. Uh, 12. Uh, your AC is lowered by another one. 16. Uh, it's the dire wolf. And then 18 points of necrotic damage and another strength saving throw. Sounds good. Otherwise we get after. Yeah, I feel. Uh, I was just a dollar. And it's lowered by one more. Yeah, 15. And then. We should twist it. We should twist it. Let's fucking twist it. Let's fucking ac point. Yeah, ac point. My ac is already lower. These are going to crush me. 12 again. Okay. Strength is not my, not my strong suit. Then the other goes to 15 hits. So you can raise it by one. Uh, the DC is 15. No, I got 12. 12. Yeah. And then you're lowered by AC. My AC is a 15. AC in total. Um, and then the next group of ghosts two are going to hit Kana. Uh, one is going to miss one is going to hit and the other one's going to hit Victoria, which is going to hit. Boo. No way. Yeah. Oh my God. Clerics are so good. And I'm so. 19 points of necrotic damage. Kana and a strength save please. Okay. No one's going to freak. 19 and strength. Um, I'm going to use the power. I'm going to use my indomitable 19 as well for you, Victoria and a strength save. Strength save 28. That passes. Your AC is not effective. I can use your refusal in this story. It's wisdom. Strength. So now no D4. There's no D4 element. Yeah. Six. Uh, you are your AC is lowered by one for. For how long? A minute. So six pounds of combat. Damn it. This podcast is brought to you by our patreon. I need you all to roll your saving throws and let me know if you get below a 15 and what color you're in. God damn it. We are strength. We don't. As once again, Ezek, Father Lucian, Davian, Mardukov and, uh, Rahideen who will do absolutely nothing because, uh, feast, uh, began to channel there. Okay. I think. Uh, 23. I think. Yeah, I mean, I was in a strength saving throw myself to 20. Uh, the DC is 15. I feel that I am in, um, plan chat. Uh, you are now grappled and restrained. Yeah. As you feel the roots twisting up around you. Anybody else fail? No, no, I feel. I know you and so I shouldn't even roll. Yeah. No, you don't need to. And shepherd, it is your turn. I am going to attempt to push through my allies here, um, and get behind Victoria. So I'm going to take at least opportunity attacks from those ghosts over there. Okay. And I guess maybe these ghosts over here. Yeah. If you're moving away from them, they are going to. Yeah. Yeah. Um, are you outside of 20 feet range from them? Their range is 20 feet. So one yes, but the other one no. Okay. Oh wait, actually. Kind of right on the edge. He might, he might. No, it was even 20 feet. Okay. Yes. No, no opportunity attacks. I mean, I could take. Well, no, no, really? If I move that far, I see. Their range is 20 feet. So you're still not outside of their range. They have like a melee that has a 20 foot reach. No, he is. He is. Okay. So three will attack with the other three won't. I didn't understand. Three is better than six. Um, and. Oh, that is a, that's a B12. Two of them are going to hit. Sure. Any of those? Yes. Two of them please. Come on. Come on. Come on. Fail. Lower it by one. And fail. 14, 18 points of necrotic damage. Lower it by another one. And then. 16 points of necrotic damage. I'm sorry. What was the damage? 16 necrotic damage for the second hand. Okay. So it should be lowered by two more. Wait, like, like four total. No, no, no, no. Sorry. Just the two. I told you. Okay. And then I'm going to use a hellfire. In a, Nice. Just literally, uh, like them all up. So it's going to be death saving throws from everybody. So the, Okay. DC, DC 17 provided that didn't change with anything. No, it doesn't. And then all I would just do is just, I'll just roll for the ghosts for one. They all failed. But I will roll for the horseman separately. 16, 17. I'll do it good. You, I'm sorry. What, what did you say it was? DC 17. 17. Okay. So Zelensky passes. No, it's higher. It's higher. It's 18. It's 18. The DC should be 18. 18. Yes. Okay. Zelensky passes, Blanchette passes, Rivara fails and Corden passes. 34 points of damage to whoever did not pass. And then half. So 17 to those three dates. Damages force. And then so 34 to the ghost because they all failed. As you let loose, you stagger backwards. You feel yourself. You're, you're off. You're easier to hit. You're not moving the way that you expect to hit. As you pull out judgment and redemption and you let loose. You're not moving the way that you expect to hit. As you pull out judgment and redemption and you let loose a rain of hellfire. All of the ghosts sizzle and pop and they are all destroyed. You can remove the ghosts from the battlefield. All of them. All of them. They're minions. Shepherds. You said dirty. Yeah. You're fucking me up. Also hitting all of the, all of the horsemen. Corden is definitely looks the most wounded. Blanchette close behind. It's better. So I am going to look around and seeing a horse to my left. A horse to my right. One right in front of me facing me. Get away. Just bear guts and everyone has to make a whiz saving. Everyone. I'm sorry. All four. All four of them. What's the DC? Thank you. They all passed. I will say I am going to miss the step. Two and a half. I want to have three, four on the missing step here and then I'm going to move. One and a half to three. Okay. So Corden is going to turn towards Sarnax and he is going to use a his remaining a staggering smite and he is going to make two attacks on you. A natural 20. I would like to blinding this that please. This. Still going to hit. Okay. And I don't know why I rolled double on that, but the other one hits as well. The staggering smite you're going to take 12 points of damage. I need you to make a list of saving throw for me please. Well, that's where I'm a Viking. I succeed with flying colors and with above 30. You're going to take 12 bludgeoning. Okay. I take that. And then you're going to take 17 points of fire damage. Okay. 17 points. That's for the first hit. 19 more points of fire damage. And eight points of bludgeoning damage. As his flail swings down and slams into twice. He two wheels the power of flame too well. So Lensky is going to charge. Who is in front of him? So it's hard for me to see with. We're some outings. Yeah. Okay. He's going to, he's going to look down at Kana and he is going to make two attacks against Kana. One of those is going to hit one is going to miss 13 points of piercing damage. Okay. 15 points of reading. Okay. I'm going to take the first hit. I'm going to take the second hit. I'm going to take the third hit. I'm going to take the third hit. 15 points of radiant damage. Okay. 15 points of radiant damage. And that is going to be his turn. I am going to look around and I will, I believe just stay, I'm within 30 feet of Ravaar, right? Yeah. Yeah. I'm just going to stay where I am. And I am going to raise up my lantern and say, be blinded in the radiance of the dawn in this cathedral of the morning Lord. And I, they all need to make a wisdom saving through DC 19. 18 for Solensky. Well over that for Blanchett. Fail. 19. Fail on Ravaar and a success on Quarantine. So 29, 30, 35 points of radiant damage to anyone who failed and 15 points of radiant damage to anyone who succeeded. So you did 35 damage? Yes. So half of that, 17. Oh, 17. 17. Apologies. And then I'm going to use my bonus action to, if Corden is still alive, I'll move over my, he can move 20 feet. I can't, I can't move my little guy 20 feet. He'll stab, he'll stab, actually no, with that, I'm going to use my bonus action to poof up in the fire prince and just poop behind Hound Jones. Hound Jones. I'm going to go behind the Hound Jones behind Borofel. I'm going there. Yeah. And I'm going to, I'm right next to Hound to fire prince you. So like, yeah. Okay, yep. I poof in my bonus action. And my, my sacred weapon, I rip the scroll and it just sat there. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, scroll. Okay. You got it? Okay. Hi. I'm going to step between the two horsemen here. Corden is almost dead, I think. I'm going to look up at Corden and say, I will end your doom and I will use a bonus action to channel my fighting spirit again as my weapon is in view, giving me advantage on the next four attacks. I will forgo my last one and make a fifth attack. That will hit with a 30. Yep. 32. Wow. Okay. Second attack will be a natural fucking 20. Ooh, I think I'm a body. You might appreciate it. Yeah, fake money. Fake money. And ooh, that's my natural one plus eight. Actually, this might still hit. That's two natural 20s before anybody, anyone else in the party. Yeah, exactly right. Well, I got one. Oh yeah, this will not, this will count. 22 for the third attack. That hits? Okay. I'm going to do these first and then see what happens. He'll use his reaction to block the third attack. Okay. If he's alive. Yeah, I don't think he will. So first attack. He's going to do it anyway. So first one's 15. Slashing damage. What is it? And then the second one was my natural 20. So I get to roll double dies. So that's 12 plus eight. That's 20 slashing. He has exactly 20 hit points left. I'm not fucking shitting you. Exactly 20. How do you want to do this? I'm going to look up at him as I'm taking my sight out. I'm going to spin it around and I'm going to do a wide sweep as I'm aiming for his neck. And I'm going to end his misery by completely beheading him. And as his body is falling off the horse, I'm going to catch it and lay it on the ground. Nice. You do this. And as you're not, he not a slides beneath his jaw lined through his neck. You watch as his, his jaw falls open as he lets out a horrifying scream, but it is not just noise that emanates from him. A spirit begins to emerge, climbing out of the desecrated body and rising into the air. No longer a horrifying, a horrifying death night, but the spirit of the spirit of Sir Corden and all of his glory. As he looks down at all of you, he smiles a sense of sadness over his face. As he looks at the horrible massacre that has happened to this room. And then his eyes find his friend as his soul slowly moves, his spirit slowly moves towards Sergei. You watch as he places one hand on Sergei's shoulder. Radiant light erupts out of the Sun Sword. As Corden begins to channel his own divine energy into the blade, you see as a bit of the barrier holding into this room begins to crack away as the two of them now work together to open the door. Beautiful. Well done, Kanna. We've released Corden from his buys. We are doing good work here. Continue. Okay. And then my last two attacks, I'm going to swing around and looking Sir Zelensky into his eye holes. Eye holes. You got some birdie eye holes, Buzky. That's all I'm going to say. I ain't got no teeth, but I love your eye holes. That's looking at holes, you know how I'm saying. Both of these will be above 30. Those, yeah, those will hold a little bit. I can't do it. I reroll two. It's nice. So that'll be 10 plus 16. So that'll be 26 points of slashing damage. 26, you say? Sorry. Yeah, right. 26. You slash into it. He takes it. He looks like he is bloody. He's weak. He's weak. We must strike now. And with the rest of my movement, I'm going to stand right next to Victoria again. And I will shoulder to shoulder with her and kind of let her know physically that I'm here for her. Dame Blanchett is in the, she is going to charge toward you, Conor. Okay. She is still slowed, isn't she? She is, yeah. So she has 30 movements, be that. She can get there. She can get there. Okay. But she only has one action. And what is that? Right, either one action or a bonus action. And she finds that. Damn it. Oh, so she can even cast might. No. So she's going to make one attack down on Conor. Okay. And that is going to hit. Okay. Hit block. Not you. 14 slashing damage and 17 points of poison damage. 17. Poison. Poison. Yes. A poison is bleed. And that is her turn. Suravara, it is his turn. He's not grapple. I didn't continue it. So he's. Great. He is then going to charge forward. He is going to charge. He's going to charge forward. Directly towards Victoria. He is going to use his staggering smite. I will mage slayer that. Yes. Finally. Yes. Thank you. Okay. So he's just going to make two normal attacks with his sword. And both of them will hit. So there's at least that. So you still make the mage slayer. You still make the spell. I just get to do something against you as my reaction. Oh. It doesn't counter spell it. I should. No, no. You just make a melee attack. So let me do the stuff for Victoria, for Vicki over here. So both of them hit. So you were going to take. 17 points of slashing damage. 14 necrotic from the first hit. And 12 psychic from the staggering smite. And I also need you to make a wisdom saving throw. Please. Does this get hit? What is it? What is here? Wisdom saving throw? Wisdom saving throw? So double damage. No, no, no. It's just advantage. It's advantage. It's advantage. I'll be 20. Grab another. You're thinking of black. You're using your. That was good. So you will avoid the additional effects of this. You will take seven points of slashing and another seven points of slashing. Nope. That's the wrong one. Too many dice. Too many dice. And 17 points of necrotic damage. So I'm going to reaction. Make a attack. Against sir. Yes. For the. Yeah. For mage slayer that should hit with a 31. That hits. And then I'm going to damage the creature plus five. So that's going to be 13 points of slashing damage. And if they are concentrating on a spell, they have disadvantage on that saving throw. Don't maintain concentration. Okay. That's my reaction. And Victorian. All right. Has it has it been a minute since I've cast my bird? No. Okay. Not even close. You have, you have eight more. I was saying, yeah, you got to say seven or eight more rounds at least. Okay. So I will turn my eyes towards Blanche. Blanche. Blanche. Blanche. Blanche. Blanche. Blanche. And with saving. Whiz. Whiz. Whiz. Whiz save the trigger. I get a natural one. So. It does the thing. It does the thing I wanted it to do. Oh my gosh. She is going to fall asleep. Oh, they're undead. So I mean, I don't have them as being immune to sleep. to sleep. So no, I guess not. Power Raven Queen biz, I didn't put it as an immunity, so yeah, lay her down softly if you choose to lay her down. Just, yeah, yeah, just be very, very soft. I'm a little laid her down over for a second break. Maybe the other side, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Perfect, perfect. As you watch as an unearthly, deathly sleep descends over Dane Glanshitt, and she falls over the horse on top of her, both of them completely unconscious. Okay, then I will use the- Let it happen. Natural one, let it happen. Got it. Sarkoen is the action to send one of my moats at Zalitsky. Okay. Rushed. 25. I think rushed. 25 to hit? Yeah, that hits. 16 radiant damage, and then Bartholomew is going to scoot around, ship, and lunge at Zalitsky for bite attack. Oh, yeah. And he will have advantage for Pactactics. Okay, that's good. I love that. 21 to hit. That hits? Okay. And- Get him, Poochy. Get him, Bartholomew. That's 10 piercing damage. I can't imagine you wouldn't pass this, but you need a 13. I'm sorry, yeah, strength saving for- Ooh, 20. Yeah. My little dog does not knock down your spectral horse. Yeah. Pee. It's like Remy trying to jump and like it's back. The, once again, the Zalitsky and Ravara look around frantically as they channel their magic into the corpses on the ground. They are going to summon nine more bloody ghosts of Baropia. Anything that just put them in places around? I know I really can. I'm gonna get absolutely savage if I try to make any moves. And then they have 20 foot reach, so they're just gonna get where they can at least hit somebody, people. And then I'm going to have a cluster one, whose cluster one near, it looks like Kana. Yeah. Is it all- Kana and Victoria. Okay, so two on Kana, one on Victoria. Okay. Both are failing on Kana. Okay. But one is gonna hit on Victoria. I have no reactions, I'm sorry. 15, 19, sorry, 19 points of necrotic damage. And then I need a strength saving throw from you. God. Can you twist it? Yeah, yeah, I'll see ya. Twist it, we got a lot of twists. We got a lot of twists. Thank you, Jack. Thank you, Jack. It's better, but not that good still. 14, 14 misses, your AC is lowered by one. Four minutes. And then cluster two, who are they around? They are within- Everyone else. Everyone else. Everyone else, they can pick anybody. The two and three are within range of, pretty much everybody. Or no, no, sorry, two is within range of everybody. Three is Clayton and Sarnax. Okay, so I'm gonna have that one do two on, Sarnax one on Clayton. Okay. Both of those are gonna hit. And then one on Clayton, and that is also gonna happen. Two. Strength saving throws. Strength saving throws. Oh, please, no. I will miss. 15. And 13. So I think I failed. 23 Necrotic, your strength lowers by one. For the one you failed, yes, 23 Necrotic. And then an additional 15 points of Necrotic. Fuck. And then the next one is going to do two on Shepherd and one on Clayton. Okay. Both on Shepherd. No, what's your AC now? 13. Oh yeah, no, both of those hit. That was so close to natural 20. What is yours? Again. 26. Oh, because, yeah, I don't know, so that one misses. It was the, I mean, I have plus the strength though. Right, right. We might get a plus sign number. Nope. 14 points of Necrotic damage for the first one. Man. And 16 points of Necrotic damage for the second one. And that is all of the ghosts. It is wrath of the wedding guests and you do all to make your saves. Oh, I'm in a different thing, but I'm immune to fear. If you are in green, you're unaffected. If you are in blue, you're unaffected. Blue is unaffected. Green is the fire damage, right? I got a 50. But the, now that his soul has been released. Oh, that's right. That's no longer untapped. That's right. Have we figured that out as in-character? Okay. Yeah, I just, I described it, but it was a moment. Okay. Follows the moment. 26. For strength. And did anybody fail? 15 was the, okay. I bet, no. So none of you are affected by anything unless you are in, oh no, been green doesn't, that was the one that did the damage. So that's done, Shepard. Is it okay? I think if I move correctly here, no, I mean, cause she's like, her base is like here. No, so I try to keep her like center. So like her base is like here. So if you go, you could get here without, which would be in range. This one. Well, if he is also, what's his weapon? Whose weapon? Zelensky. Zelensky has a lance. Which has reached, so you won't be out of his, presumably if he has reached. No, his lance was five. Oh, fuck it. I move up to point blank range to my girl, blanche. And I take a opportunity attack from the white knight. And then I unload three attacks. He hits 12 points of piercing and, and 13 radiant. From Zelensky as he digs his lance into your flesh as you pass by. I'm gonna make three advantage attacks on the blanche. Fuck yeah. That's fucking go. He's asleep at auto-critical. First one's a natural 20. Yes! Yes! God give it up. Second one is going to be like 40, did it? And third one. This is sadly. It's gonna be, thank god for advantage, 21 to hit. So for the natural 20, that's gonna be 68 points of damage. Wow, I gave that to you? You did? No. Right, because it's, well, because I double-exycin' her max damage. Yeah. No, it's not. The next two is 60 plus the eight from my weapon. Is 68 points of damage. Yeah, I'll do it. Yeah, so 60, okay, yep. Then the next two attacks. Amazing. Are there gonna be 11, 12, 16, 15, 16, 17, 18, 26. Wow. For about to go for 100. 27, 27 plus eight is 35, plus six is 41, plus eight is 49. So 49 for the next two. So 68 plus 49 is 170. Let's fucking go. You step forward, you take the lance in the back and you feel the blade sink into you, but you are incensed. You have had enough as you let loose, blast after blast after blast from judgment and redemption. Your target is Blanchett and she must die. As the final blast erupts into her, you watch as her eyes open, her socketless skeletal eyes open. And for a second, you see her true face, the beauty of who she was in life as her soul slowly begins to, spirit, slowly begins to rise up out of her undead form. The bones in which she had inhabited begin to crumble into dust, ancient as they are. They fade away on the soft air within the cathedral. She rises up into the air. She looks down at all of you and she smiles. Her eyes turn towards Sergei as she flies slowly down towards him. She places her hand at the nape of his neck. You can see the love of a friend as she stares down at him, channeling her magic, purple beam directly into the sunsword. You get the lights even more. The light in this room is growing brighter and brighter as you see even more cracks in these strange blood magic that is keeping the store locked. Blanchett, I'm so sorry. Rest easy. Hold on, Shepherd. Clayton. I'm glad I hired you. I am going to... Looking at the ghosts here, sort of near me, but not in melee range. I'll say, I haven't done much, but let's try this. I'll tell you this, and I'm gonna shoot Eldritch Blast, a beam at each of the ghosts. Can I four beams? So let's do the first three and see if those hit. Yeah, they all hit. You know, their AC is 16. My lowest was 20 by night. So I do, I guess I'll hold damage. Eight to one, seven to one, eight to another. Yes, if any of the ones that you hit, you're able to blast into miss of blood as they take the force hits from your arcane glasses. I will send the fourth blast to the one right next to me. So that's cluster two, three. Two's gone, the cluster three, I'm looking at again. And we'll just say it's one instead. If I hit, it's 20. Yes, that hits. So number one in cluster three has been obliterated as it bursts into blood, blood mess. Then what I will do is I will use my bonus action to send Lucas's hand up here, and I will reach my hand out and do this and use Grasping hand on Zelinsky. So it's another contest. Probably a strong boy though. Wouldn't you like the Priestly guy? I mean, the fucking Death Knight's man. Oh yeah, that's right. Come on, come on. Oh hey, you know, I'm an old man. And you said it's a strength save? It's a strength check. It's a strength check. Okay, what did you get? Sorry, let me just pull up my stand, make sure that I have this right. 17 plus eight is what, 25? No, I got a 14. Okay, so he is grappled and he takes, I think, I believe six, or no, sorry, 46 plus. So he will take 10, 15, 20 damage. And that is just Zelinsky 20? Yeah. Sorry, I didn't catch if he was grappled or restrained. He's grappled. He's grappled. So he just came. Grappled, grappled. So there's no advantage, I guess, because he's not restrained. He just basically is on the place. All right, that is your turn. Zelinsky is going to turn towards you and he is going to... I don't know if I wanna do that. No, he's just gonna attack you twice. He is going to make both his packs against you. He can't move. Zelinsky is grappled. Zelinsky is grappled. Zelinsky is currently grappled. I'm grappled. Then he's to victorious, then she's right in front of him. Just whoever's in front of him. Both of them are going to hit. I have a Victoria, I need some. He's still a fucker. He'll see. Oh, shit. As he takes his lance, he stabs it in, he flips it around, stabs it in again, directly into the same wound. Oh, fuck! I got 20 points of piercing damage. Great. I looked, that was for both of the lance's piercing. Now I'm gonna roll the radiant damage out of the head. To see his feet shaker. 18 radiant damage for the first hit. And 20 points of radiant damage for the second. Oh, good. As the second stab occurs. Sorry. I'm going to have to summon the strength of the grave. Oh, it's going. So, oh shit. Yeah, it's radiant. Yeah, it is radiant damage. Are you hitting zero? But it's the radiant damage that does it. No, fuck away! No, well. That deck didn't counter the damage. Zelensky takes his lance. Can I? I trust you took my deck. And you're in my hands. Mazor reaction. Potgree, you son of a bitch! Wait for it. You actually, you don't have any reactions because you were hit with the staggering smite in that last minute. Oh, shit. I don't have that either, okay? As the second piercing of the lance, as Sir Zelensky takes the lance and digs it and bedding it into the wound that was, that he had just made on your body, you feel the life leave you as you fall to the ground and as you slowly fade into unconsciousness, you hear the fluttering of wings. Darkness all around you. But yet you can feel her, her presence is there. You've triggered the boon of the Raven Queen. You now arise coughing up blood at one hit point. Oh my fucking guy, let's go! Let's go, guys, let's go. Please mark that you no longer have to put it at three at point. Oh my god. Benevolent DM, thank you. That's such a great boon. Think I got it? Thank you for grabbing that hairpin before it. But I'm on the thing, right? And it's a lair action. You're standing. It's not Victoria's turn, that was Sir Zelensky's starting act, it's your turn. Okay, are those ghosts within 30 feet of me? What one of them is? No, no, no, the other ghost. Pretty close. I'm gonna step within the 20 feet of the bloody ghost. Just take 10 feet. Done, and I'm gonna raise my lantern and say, good nights of the morning, Lord, your salvation will be found in the dawn. And I'm gonna cast Radiance. You are prone though, by the way. Wisdom saving throw, I presume, being a DM that runs minions, all of the ghosts are dead. Do you presume that? I presume that, wisdom saving throw for both of them, please. Well, now they're not, how dare you? I'm trying to help. Yes, they're all dead. Radiance of the dawn. God damn it. 11, so close. 31 points of radiant damage to anyone who fails. And that's just the ghost, right? No, no, well, the ghost, and then if both of the nights Oh, I didn't realize that they were at it. They took the make of wisdom saving throw, 31 points of radiant damage. Oh, they both passed. Okay, so they take 15 points of radiant damage, and then, wait, 16, 31. They take 15. Round it out. 15, round it out. Okay, yeah. And then my blade can't even move. It's only 20 feet per bonus action. So I am going to, I'm going to have Prince Zuko, I'm gonna have the Fire Prince poof me up and we are going to go right next to Victoria. And everyone, all the bad guys within 10 feet around me have to make a dexterity saving throw. And I think- Oh, some more? Yeah, sorry. Jesus. That's my Prince Zuko. Sir Zelinsky passes, sir Ravara fails. So I need, oh god, I keep forgetting how much fucking damage it is. Not flame seed. So those who, those who, I mean, it's a V8. Six plus five, 11 points of fire damage to those who fail, five points to those who succeed. A fire damage. And we, as we emerge poof next to them. And a big explosion happens. Okay. Yes, that happens, kind of. All right, between, oh shit. So she's still on the ground behind me. Yeah, she's, she has one hit point and she is broke. I'm gonna whip around and say, Victoria, oh my God. And I'm gonna drop my Naginata. I'm gonna yank my superior healing potion out of my pack. And I'm gonna shove it in her mouth. And I'm gonna lift her head up gingerly. And as like a lady, I'm not gonna shove it in her mouth. I'm gonna just pour it in her mouth. It's apologies, that was very vile. Thank you. So, I'm gonna go with the superior. So AD four plus eight. So I will do that this turn. Oh, I don't really have any other bonus actions that I can do. Yeah, I will hold second wind. So I will just do that. I'm just gonna heal Victoria for AD eight plus eight. It is Saravara's turn then. Who's near him? Victoria's prone, Khan is next to him and Shepherd. So Shepherd, Khan, I, Victoria. And Victoria is on the ground. He's his hand, and Lucas is half, right? You're just gonna hit him? He is going to make a, he's going to make his first attack against Victoria. And that is going to hit. Six, 14, 17. And then two more, 21. You take 29 points of healing. Oh, thank you. Right on time. Then 20, so you're gonna take 13 points of slashing and 23 necrotic. I'm gonna stand in front of her as the blade is coming down. I'm gonna use my reaction and I will say, you will do no such thing. She is fallen on the ground. You two attack someone who is prone. You have no honor. And I will take all that damage instead. Oh, that's why you have a player. 13 and 23. Okay. Siravar is gonna turn his head towards you and you're going to see a horrific smile alight his face, a loud, booming laugh reverberates throughout the cathedral as he looks towards you, as he goes to attack you. And just as the blade gets within range, he turns it towards Victoria and he's going to shove it into her again. Okay. That's not much of what's looking at. And that's also going to happen. That's feet, Victoria. That's not like a... You're gonna have to be mean tonight. No, it's okay. It's okay. It's all I can do. I'm so squishy. Seven points of slashing damage. Okay, okay, okay. Okay, okay, okay. Screw yours, screw yours. Seven. Roll poorly, roll poorly. Crit for 143. 19 points of necrotic damage. Oh, Victoria's head is cleaved from her body. She's still up though, she's still up. She's still up? She's still up. I need math. I need the math. All right, all right then. That is his turn, Victoria, it is your turn. So what is it? Half movement to stand up. Correct a movement though. It's quite slow in addition to being squishy. This is because I suggest you be standing up. I am going to stand up. Wakey, wakey. Need to get some salad sauce for the lady. I'm gonna... She's fainted in the third fair. She has five reach, what does he have? They all have five reach. She has five reach. Okay, I'm gonna... Is it dim light here? Is it? It's not dim light, is it? Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah, I'm not gonna talk too much. I'm gonna use disengage and use the rest of my movement to flee towards the professor. Okay. Do I still have bonus action? I'm just getting on. Yeah, really do. Okay. I will use a bonus action to hurl one of their moves back towards... Nice. Walla Zinsky. I'm gonna use Zinsky. Trailing blood the whole way over to the professor. The wedding gown. My white wedding gown is just covered in blood. Oh, right, she's fighting her wedding gown. That's so badass. Oh my God. Don't worry, Andy, I'm still gonna kill you. Yes. Figure it out. So that is a 30-tvp. That hits. Ooh. 14. What the fuck did you get all? 22. 27. 27 radiant. Damage. Nice. Nice, nice, nice. Nice, nice, nice. Yes, 27 radiant damage to Zinsky. As I cast that bolt straight at his face. He takes the radiant damage to the face. It begins to singe the flesh hanging onto a skeletal form. He is looking very weak. And I will again whistle and Bartholomew will lunge at him, snapping and slavering. Get him, Booch. He's advantaged for Pactectis. Yes. That's about five. 14. That misses. It's a death. Come on, Booch. So with that, both of the knights look towards each other. They point towards the ground beneath Clayton and Victoria. Oh, fine. As they begin to channel magics, I need you to cast your magic spell. I need you to put the thing around them. It is a layer action. As they channel their death and decay, I need you to... Make it hit all of us. Oh, cool, then they're gonna do that. So you're all gonna take damage. You forgot to assign homework. What kind of damage do you take? The product. Is this a save or not? No. You're gonna take 15 points of necrotic damage. And then you will, you imagine you will take some at the start of your turn if you stay in this. That's kind of a BD. Yeah. Ooh. So that's a now, I will summon the strength of the great. Okay. Yay! Yay! Yay! That's persistent. I will leap this here. Yes, it is. You can find a way to... Here, I'll lift this guy up. Yeah, move fire, Jones. The ground beneath you begins to pop with pestilence as the death itself begins to damage you. The rot tears away your flesh, almost acidically, because it eats through your clothing and your skin. It's very painful. There we go. Death and decay. Death and decay. Yikes. As long as we move out, by the end of our turn, we won't take more, right? We can move out of it and go by the end of their turn. Hopefully we won't take damage at the end of our turn. Because the beginning, I'm not gonna... I'm gonna have to attack. Correct. Well, usually it's when you first enter an ability, and then at the end of your turn. Oh yeah, no, it's at the end of your turn. Sorry, not the beginning. Okay. Yes, you are right. Let me, let me double-tip that. Yeah, no worries either way. How much was the damage? Yeah, the creature ends its turn. In the ground, it takes damage. Oh yes, it does. Oh, it works. Okay. So, five plus the damage taken would be 20. And I just... Meet it, I meet it. My curse is 11 plus nine is 20. Yeah, holy fuck. Meter B, so you are up. Stop. Yeah, I instead drop to one HP. Hey! Oh, shadow sorcerer. Chef, you're up. Butter? Yep. But I look like a... Oh no, no, no, no. I don't look. It's wrath everywhere and anybody in... I do, I do. I went into the one where I hit... Oh, I'm in purple. I can get affected. Point block. Oh, is there a save now? There were some purple and green. Purple, green and blue are unaffected right now. It's just white. If you're in white. Okay, so I'm fine. I'm purple. Yeah, he's purple. Oh, sorry, you're purple. Sorry, I'm white. I am... Ah, I fail. I fail. Oh no, it's... Wait, is it calm? Is it calm? It is calm. Oh, calm, I actually might be fine. Oh no, I have 28. No, no, no, no, 18, sorry, 18. So you do 60. Okay. You're fine. You are able to suck on the blinding light. Shabbert. I'm gonna move out of the way of this horrible boy. How many times did you move five feet inside of it? I was on the edge, so my first five foot movement put me out of it. It was right out of it, yeah. He was right on the edge. Okay, so you'll take 1d4. Oh, that's too much. I'm dead. Two points of a necrotic damage. Whoa! Ah! Shit! And then I'm going to use my bonus action to move my hunter's mark to the white knight and make it to attacks. There's some death in my hand. Oh yeah, Matt Cam is pretty shaky. Is that right? Sorry. The attack, did 25 has lost a hit? Yes, that hits. Actually, he's gonna use one of his reactions and make it to 26. So one of them is gonna get blocked. So one of them is blocked. The other two hit. The other two hit. All of them hit. All but... Oh! You did it. Sorry, Andy. You did it. You did that. Sorry, Andy. I did. Nine, 10, 11, 12. 20 points of damage for one attack. You only have two attacks, so they get three. Oh, Hunter's mark. Wasted a bonus action, you blocked him. Yeah, sorry. Hunter's getting off so good in multiple fights. He takes the damage, but he is still holding strong. And it is Clayton's turn. I will... Who's looking weaker? Easily Zelensky. Ravara is still doing just fine. Okay. I am going to bring my hand over here as a bonus action, and I will grapple Ravara. So I'm gonna make a contest. 25? Oh yeah, he passed. Okay. You beat him. So he does 4d6 plus five, and he is grappled. 13, bludgeoning damage. And then, use my movement to step out of this. So I'm gonna take 1d4 damage, presumably. Is it only five feet that you're moving? Or is it five feet? Yep. One step out. You're gonna take one point of necrotic damage. Okay. And then I think, seeing that Zelensky's moving in, right? Yes. I wanna say, I'll call on us, and I will shoot Arcane Blast at this guy. He's still a big feller here. One's a natural, two natural ones, but the other two do hit. 20 something. So he takes, you know, let's see. Sorry. He takes 13 points of necrotic damage. He takes it. He looks like he's having a really rough time. He's barely able to hold himself up on top of the undead's deed, but he is still undead. All right. It is Zelensky's turn. Zelensky is going to, who's in front of him? Sarnax and Kana in the hound. He is going to turn towards each of them, Sarnax and Kana, and he's going to land to one of them. It's going to hit for Kana, and it is definitely gonna hit for Sarnax. 10 points of piercing damage, Sarnax. Yeah. Nine points of radiant damage. Ah. 12 points of piercing damage, Kana. Okay. Nine points of radiant damage. All right. And that is Zelensky's turn. Sarnax. I am going to, I am going to raise my lantern up and say, you all walk with Garrix and I'm going to cast Mass Healing Word at a third level. And I will roll that healing. And then a bonus action, I am going to poof again, basically right far enough away where I don't think it'll hit me, but where it's within 10 feet, right, so if you could do that. And then they both need to make dexterity saving throws. Is Mass Healing Word above his action? Yep. It is. That's why it'd be useless otherwise, yeah. Oh, oh, wait, so no, I cannot use it as an action. You're right. So I have a full action to do. But I don't have any, so I am just going to say where I am and I am going to, wait, I can use two spells, can I? Yeah, but you can't change a bonus action to an action. God, I am going to just raise my lantern again and say the light of dawn will cast you back to the darkness and use it again, wisdom saving throw for both of them. Thank you for keeping me honest. They both succeed. Okay, wisdom 19. It's gonna, sorry, sorry, sorry. I was not expecting this 2d10. My last nine plus 20 is 29 points, so half of 29 is 14. 14 points of radiant damage each of them. And I am just going to walk away. I'm gonna walk away from them, so I'm not in range. So R'j'ki just had me walk away. That's it. And tell me how many spaces. Oh, actually, three, three, three. Three to get out. 11 points of radiant damage. Kana. Do I sense that with... 15 points of healing, everyone. Thank you. Sweet healing. Looking between the two, R'varian and Zelinsky, how do they look? Zelinsky is easily the most human. He looks like he's barely hanging on. R'varo is severely wounded as well. I'm gonna do, I'm gonna start with two attacks on Zelinsky. 19 and then a 20, 21. He is going to use his reaction to cancel one of those attacks. Okay, but they've done one hit. So one hits. That is a one. That's all three rolled out. That's 10. So 18 points of slashing to Zelinsky. How do you wanna do this? I would do the same as I am trudging through this decay and sludge and awfulness that's on the ground. I'm gonna bow down and as I try to reach up, I'm gonna jump up and do another beheading as I attempt to lay him to rest as well. And I will say, join your fellow brethren and Sergei at the front, they are awaiting you. And I will again catch his body and lay it on the ground. In the decay, I guess, perfectly. As you take his body in your hands, you can feel him begin to deteriorate, his bones turning to dust, as his spirit slowly rises out, his eyes catch yours for a second, and you can feel the smile before you see it on his face. Once again, Zelinsky rises up into the air, looking over all of you. Thankful for what you've done here. He quickly glides towards Sergei, standing directly behind him, almost like a fatherly figure. As he stands there, he places both of his hands on Sergei's back and begins to channel the white magics into him, the once again, trying to help Sergei crack the magics on the door. And that is Sir Ravara's turn. I still have to worry about you. If I stay here, will I still be within five feet of him? I can't believe you've seen behind me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, you also have reach. Yeah, I'm just trying to get out of the mud and without provoking opportunity attacks. So I will bonus action dash using my Expeditions for Treat that's still going, and I will make two attacks on Ravara. How many spaces did you move? Three. Three. Eight points of damage, okay? These are regular attacks. The lowest one would be a dirty 20. He will use his reaction to one of them, okay? Okay, and that'll be 14 points of slashing to Ravara. All right, he takes the damage. He does not look as wounded as the other ones had as he continues to bear down on all of you. And it is his turn. Who is around? Kana is right behind him, he's attacked. He's going to turn and attack Kana twice. With a natural 20, and then the other one hits his five. Yikes. With a 20, so. So he don't need to see you. I will do the normal hit first. Okay. God, he's the brutal one too. 15 points of piercing. All right. 15 points of radiant damage. Okay. 21 points of piercing for the crit. And I'm down. You're down. And it procs a reaction called strength before death. If you take damage that reduces you to zero hit points and doesn't kill you outright. Yeah, you're good. Yes, you're fine. Is that going to kill you? You can use your reaction to delay falling unconscious. You can immediately take an extra turn interrupting the current turn. While you have zero hit points during that extra turn, take damage, taking damage causes death saving failures as normal. And three death saving throw failures can still kill you when the extra turn ends, you fall unconscious if you are still at zero. So as I fall, everything's going to go in a super slow motion. And right as my head hits the back of this pavement, I'm going to spring back up and everyone else is still. And I'm going to proc my bonus action to give me fighting spirit. Gives me advantage on all attacks. And her arms fly behind her and she leans forward. Like this. 27. A hit. Yep, yeah, a hit. Three roll twos. 14. Damage, 14 points of damage. 24 to hit. That hits. Three roll twos. That's a two still. 10 points of damage. Attack, 24. Hell do. Yeah, that'll hit. 15 points of damage. These are going to be rapid strikes, so two separate attacks. Fighters, don't stop attacking. One's at 22 and the other one's at 29. Both of those. 16. And the other 16 points of damage and then 11 points of damage. And then I will action surge. I get five more attacks. Five. Natural fucking 20. You kill him. So how do you want to do this one? Drop her mic's a little bit. Oh my god, I'm really shaking. I can't believe you're still on that. Sorry, headphone people. Okay, I'm zipping past him in all directions. I'm slashing into the horse, severing into the bone to me, cleaving, clean. One, two, three, four. The horse falls forward on its knees. She flips forward on the back and gets behind Riviera. I hold up his head, facing his friends, and I say, you will rejoin your friends now. Please lay in peace, and I will sever the head off. Got him. Cleave. Fucking got him. Completely clean. As I fall unconscious, behind the body of Riviera, slumped over him in a hold as I fall unconscious. You fall unconscious. You can feel his spirit rise up through yours. And you think this must be, this must be the sound of spirits. As the flapping of wings catches you softly, your boon of the Raven Queen has been activated. As you slowly open your eyes and you feel like you don't fully understand what you're seeing, colors melded together, slowly your vision comes to, as Sir Riviera makes his way outside of your body. As you stare up at him, he shimmers, his light radiating out over the entirety of the cathedral. He looks down at all of you and he smiles. He sees the struggle Sergei is in. As he floats, glides towards the rest of his friends, he places his hands around them and channels his blue light into them. You watch, Sergei sweats profusely as he battles with the bloody power that has imprisoned you. But now there's only a thin film that remains, flanked by all of his friends who offer up their weapons and hearts to their lord one final time. He smiles softly. My dear friends, I thank you. United, all five paladins of the morning lord make a single thrust with their five holy weapons and with a hissing sizzle, the barrier of blood breaks as it is burned away by the light of dawn. The sacred flame arcs to the corners of the room. It swiftly brings a merciful end to the animated corpses as they turn to smoldering ash. When the glow returns to normal, you realize the entire cathedral has been cleansed and quiet finally falls after the slaughter. The souls of the fallen knights remain standing beside Sergei as the five share a private moment, leaving the five of you to recover from the battle amongst yourselves. You watch as they huddle together. And for the sake of this, you move away and you allow them their private moment to say goodbye. You move towards the entrance hall, giving them their privacy. As you make your way out of the cathedral, your footsteps echo across the great hall. Feels almost oppressive, the noise as it reverberates around you. Looking back, you see Sergei and his knights, their spectral forms slowly fading, but they're still present as they laugh and embrace a beam of sunlight radiating from them. In the grace of the morning lord together, finally, you look over the smoldering ruins of the cathedral. All of the bodies seem to be burnt to ash. Souls, spirits, still trapped in Barovia, but their bodies no longer desecrated. So the cathedral itself seems to be in a sense of calm. What do you do? Everybody still breathing? Clearly. Connor, I can't thank you enough. You're welcome. Well, are we alive? How can you ask such a question, professor? The gods, they are here in Barovia. These poor souls were unable to escape their fate, but the morning lord is here. His cathedral is stored. Garex is consored. We have the divine on our side. And Madame Eva. We have Madame Eva on our side. She came here to die. She knew. You could tell, she knew. Yes, she knew. She wasn't invited. Those poor souls. She had already left Barovia. She did not need to return from the mist. This was meant to be. It's different this time. And I believe that's why she chose the path she chose. You understand? We're alive for a reason. It has nothing to do with me, or you, or anyone. You're alive because we've been chosen by fate. And I'm still, despite my years of research, dipping into the arcane, trying to see the future. Fate is still a mystery. Let's not ruin this. Let's not let all of those people die in vain. I'm glad we could bring some rest to those poor souls, those horsemen. We don't have time to rest, but we need to find where Shredan is. You hear the sound of plate boots clanking on the stone. Your attention is drawn back. Towards the cathedral. Sergei walking towards you. His sunsore radiating with holy magics. These spectral images of his former knights surrounding him. All of them smiling, radiating as they look at you. I cannot thank you enough for the honor you have done for my friends. And I, I hope you will understand why I could not raise my sword against them. It was an honor for us to do you and your noble knights such a service, Sergei. And to all of you, I sincerely apologize for all of my comments on the morning lord when I first entered this land. They clasp your hands, but none of them say anything. Almost an emotional telekinetic link between them and Sergei. But they do not speak words to you as they clasp their hands around you. You can feel the warmth of morning sun. They would like to offer their thanks to you if you would allow it. Of course. Please stand in line and follow me. Sergei takes his sunsword in front of him and he kneels down. You all line up and in front of each one of you. One of the knights stands forward, radiating light. Sergei Zalenskiy in front of Clayton. He reaches out his hand towards you, his weapon of the sun. He reaches out his hand towards you, his weapon out. He places it from shoulder to shoulder. Sergei says, Sir Clayton Ezra, Dame Blanchette steps towards you, Sarnak. She takes her weapon from shoulder to shoulder. Sergei says out, Sir Sarnak of the Edelmoit. Sir Corden, thank you, steps towards Shepard. And he places his weapon one side to the next. Sir Shepard Morgan. And then lastly, Sir Ravara steps towards Victoria. Places, weapon from side to side. Dame Victoria Isaacs. And finally, Sergei rises, his blade glowing ever brighter as he moves towards you, Kanna. He takes the sunsword from one shoulder to the next. He tilts your head up, a true hero. Dame Kanna Soyukaze. And with that, you see is the shifting spectral forms of all of the knights begin to dissipate. They all smile at you proudly, heroes this day. As their spirits converge into the sunsword itself, it radiates a light unlike you have ever seen. Begins to dim. Though I believe they are still here with us. Sergei looks fondly at his sword. They shine our light, their light on us always. For now, their souls rest. Until we can end the tyranny of my sister and truly allow them peace. We have a vampire to kill, and we do not have time. You all benefit from a short rest. Thank you, Sergei. Do not thank me. Thank the loyal knights of the morning world. Thank you, Sir Zelinsky. I just wish we could have done more. That is the most anyone could have hoped for in a situation like this. Is at this point that you hear the the thudding of footsteps on stairs. Well, what the royal fuck happened in here as you see Escher sweep down the stairs. A cloak tightened or fastened around around his body as he flourishes it behind him. Do you not see what is happening to the castle? I can't get out to this strange, throbbing, pulsing red. What have you done? Wait, what? This did not go as smoothly as you said it was going to go. You mean you can't leave? None of us can leave. The doors, the windows, even my secret passages. They're all blocked by this pulsing, strange radiance. You have royally pissed her off, have you not? She's killed them all. Do you know any way to her? Where would she go? We don't have time to explain right now. We can explain as we go, but where would Shredanya be? I'm not sure. I mean, to be quite honest with you, she... I checked her throne room. I could not find her. The only place I can potentially think is she might have found her way to the brides. What could she be doing with the brides? This reeks of a little game they've been playing in the past few weeks. You see, they received a gift. Some strange contraption that they all have been enjoying. Its magic is unlike something I, myself, prefer to imbibe in, but they've been lustful for it, craven for it. It's really quite pathetic, if you ask me. Almost like a drug. What is it? But the stench of it smells, and you see as he walks over and he runs a long finger down the wall. And it's almost as if these red blood tendrils that are stretching out all over the walls and criss-crossing over the doors. It's almost as if they throb like veins. And as he runs his finger over it, he breathes in. Yes, centre blood. If I know what I know and I always do, the brides are up to something. Whether Sredonja's with them or not, I can't tell you. But what I can say is they are up to no good. We have to stop this. Those that were killed in the Cathedral were not all that reside in Barovia or in Castle Ravenloft. Sredonja sent invitations far and wide. There were far too many arrived who could fit in the Cathedral. For going to rescue the innocents like you have asked me to help with, we need to get these drawers open, so we need to pay them a visit. You're saying that they're still innocents in the castle? Hundreds. And it will not be good enough to simply avenge them. I'm tired of wishing vengeance. For once in your life, Escher, let us save them. Now, I'll look towards the grand halls with the main gates to the castle, right? They're the main entrance way, yes. You can see that that is completely closed off by these pulsing, bloody veins. Sredonja was correct when she said this place was a prison. What is the nature of the gift that you were referring to? The brides have been playing games with. Do you know? Do they even let you in this chamber? I can enter the chamber. I choose. I do not play with this toy. There is something about it that unsettles me. I can't answer that. Do you know perhaps who the gift was from? No. It was simply marked a wedding present. Escher, since you're not with them, are you in any danger? Does she know that you're here? He looks at you and you can see as he eyes you up and down. No, I'm not in danger, but any time I'm near you all. I'm glad you're not in danger. Go back to bandage. Could this be the wedding gift that Sredonja wrote of in her journal from Baba Laisaga? Yes. It's gotta be, right? We saw the schematics. That would explain the stench. We did. There was a horrible pollen keen in her hut. This can't be good. There's no way Baba Laisaga still has a role to play in any of this, right? We killed her. During the outing, am I losing my mind? We did kill her, but even after her death, what was the vision we all saw in the heart? One for each of us and one more. For Laisaga herself, even in death she continues to pull the strings and force all of Barovia to dance like puppets. Blinsky. Yes, no, we will mourn his loss for sure. So, we should make our way then. You all look horrible, but nothing can be done about that now. I do know passageways. There's a castle. I will get you there as quickly as I can. Sergei looks at him and you can see for a moment a look of a look of revulsion on his face, but he tempers it as he nods towards towards him. You are the brother of the devil. So, you will come with me. Let us lead the way. Sergei nods and slowly moves forward towards Asher and motions for him to lead the way. Well, if you're ready, let us go ruin some fun, shall we? One way or another this ends today. We are all knights of the morning Lord while we serve Garex. We shall stand shoulder to shoulder with any god of light or death that will bring an end to this curse. Sergei, Asher, lead the way. I will light your path. And I'll let you do your thing. Thank you. We got to roll hit points because we got floods. Oh, hey. Right? What's this? And... Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I thought about not giving it to you because I was a little irritated. I didn't actually get to kill you. Oh, yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah, that was a little... I think we were on a... I popped two boons. You were on a razor's end right there. Yeah. That was 79. That was close. Oh, wow. I won't. I won't. Connor, I want you to have this. You shouldn't have given me yours. I don't give her the... Super potion. Super potion. Thank you. Well, the thing that you drink... Thank you, Victoria. You did not need to do that. I may need to use it again. I can't thank you enough. You stepped right behind a fire for me. Don't make sense. You having a potion on, you could save any of our lives. It does no good in my pocket to perform on the ground. Dying. Dead. Dying your deadly death. It's our thanks. Do not think that your grand gesture went unnoticed. Thank you, Died. A great deal of good for all of us. End your cup. I thank you, Victoria. I do not wish to be noticed in my acts. I wish to do good. I wish to keep all of you alive, to ensure you all return home. And I wish to bring about the end of this. Garex is with me. He is with all of us. And, Victoria, I wanted to say, as we make our way through this castle, I am sorry for doubting you. I am sorry for seeing darkness within you and labelling it as wickedness. I am sorry for having genuine concerns that you would betray us all and become legitimately betrothed to Stradania. It took great courage and strength to do what you did. You have ushered in the end for her. Without you, we would not be here. Without you, Barovia would truly be lost forever. Thank you. I appreciate your words. But I cannot lie, the love I feel for her is real. And I hope that I am doing her kindness by taking her out of this dark land. Love works in mysterious ways. Yes, Lizard, and your strange, grating Lizard voice is irritating me. We have to move. Yes. Sermons later. Movement now. Chop, chop. It's like I'm talking to children. Sergei just shakes his head at him as he moves forward. And the both of them begin to lead you through the castle. This is a way that you have never been before. Sergei Escher takes you into rooms you've never seen, pulls torches and books to find hidden passage and secret stairwells. You feel like you are traveling for quite a while before you hear the sounds. I'm not quite sure what they are. It sounds like bickering, laughter, cackling, and strange, grating, grinding noises. Escher stops you and listens for a moment. Yes, we are almost there. So, once we head through that trap door and he points up, you see a small ladder embedded in the wall, trap door at the very top. Once we head through that door, we have to be ready for anything. If there is anything you feel you need to do, I would suggest you do it now. So my, um, boil of sharpness lasts for an hour. Would I say that it's still coating my Naginana at this point at this stage? I would say it's done by now. Because short rests are an hour? Well, no, you had a free short rest from the night from being nighted as Sergei and Dave's. But you've traveled through the castle and twist and turns you went as quickly as you could. Retaining game state? I will remove the... Do we pass anyone? Is there a sense of urgency? Does everything seem kind of calm? What's the vibe as we go through the castle? You, I would say the vibe is, it seems fairly calm, but you do hear the raking, or you do hear the piercing screams of people, entities elsewhere in the castle, the sounds of thudding on doors. You can tell that there are people trapped in here. There are people trying to get out. You hear the sounds of people slamming on windows, trying their hardest to get out. But the tendrils sneaking through the castle are unrelenting. You don't meet anyone in particular as Esher is taking you through back pathways and not any of the main areas of the castle. I will say Curio, my case will open up. Now, a lot of scroll. They don't have a physical prop, unfortunately, to rip in half, but I will say... Tremendically. I've been saving this until I knew for sure that fate was on our side. And then maybe you showed me that it is. I'll take good care of Auroville. And my eyes will sort of flash this magenta blue glow and then kind of fade, but in my irises you'll still be able to see a little bit of that magic. And I will use the spells rule of foresight that Exithanther gave us. Oh, okay. You do that. What does that do? It makes me advantage on everything and everyone's disadvantaged against me. Nice. Wow. Oh, smoke. You'll have to remind me because I'm going to forget that. It's going to irritate me, but that's fine. I can see. I can see. I am ready. The gods are with us. In the power of the divine, nothing is unachievable. I want to approach Esher and kind of getting within a more comfortable range of him now. That we have had our moment. I will look at him and say, do you plan on fighting Stradonia today? Well, darling Conor, that really depends. Well, I know it's sort of ironic, but I think you should have this. I haven't used it in some time, but I think it'd be better suited for you. And I will take out my blood spear of Kavan. I know there is great history in this weapon, and it means selling a great vampire. I see you have no weapon. I know you have great strength of mind, but I worry about you entering any battle with no weapon in hand. I would like you to have this if you will take it. Well, aren't you darling? I'm far too attractive to hold something like that in my hands. Now are you ready? And he turns from you. I bow my head and stow it in my pack and just give him a curtain nod. I appreciated the gesture, Conor. So, I'll go first. You follow me. As he scales the ladder quickly, the trap door springing open almost with lightning speed. Sergei and Escher climb up through the trap door. You all follow immediately after. And with Sergei and Escher in the lead, you sprint up the ladder toward the opening of the bride's private chamber. You hear bickering voices above, and as you look up, you see the room aglow with red light as bloody magic splashes down beside the steps and slowly coats the walls and begin to close over the entrance to the room. All seven of you practically crash into the plush and lavishly decorated pleasure chamber. Even my loyal undead horseman eventually betrayed me and joined the side of the Azran expedition. I don't know why I am surprised at this point. At the very least, my brides are unwaveringly loyal, and will let no one pass unless their corpses are thrown about the room. One way or another, there will be many such dead bodies. Which side will be victorious? Find out in the conclusion of Chapter 20 of Curse of Stardania, Lament of the Damned.
