He reflects on overseas players dominating the NBA, the importance of loving the game over chasing money, and his recent album as a therapeutic project following personal losses.

  • Athletes can successfully transition to music careers when they maintain authentic passion and leverage their platform responsibly
  • Overseas players now dominate NBA MVP awards and represent superior global talent pool, signaling shift in basketball's competitive center

You're now tuned in to me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. Million dollars worth of game. We right here, man, with my brother Stack, man. Live from the mansion. Live from the mansion. Listen, a lot of y'all know him for, you know, I would say a weak-ass game he got. because he had been a subdubbing. Here we go. Listen, everything I love, I'm going to just start this off. I got to get this shit off while he here. And I don't care what nobody say. Y'all be hating. Me and Gil arguing because I told Gil. And I do got footage of me cooking Nick Young and Donovan Mitchell. I will say this. I told Gil this. If they told me I only had – I can get in the league to score six points in a game, I'm getting six points in a game in the league. It's easy. It's only six shots. I mean, 12 points. is only six shots. Gil telling me I can't do it. Stack. Stack, man. Stack. You cannot do it. You mean to tell me I can't get six shots in the league? Oh, get six shots? Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. I can make six shots in the league. It's only 12. I said 12 points. He talking about, he did this, listen to what he told me. You talking about 12 points? Yeah. Stack. Listen to what he told me. Stack. Listen to what he told me. Wallo, what you doing, how many points did you get in the big three games you played in? No, that, that, it'd be a lot of, that'd be a little off. I'm talking about that That don't count Because I know Listen The only reason If it was on the line And I get in the league For 12 points I would do that Listen But you're telling me I can't score Out of all that You know how much Listen Out of four quarters I can't get 12 points In the league Did you see what I did With Damien Donovan Mitchell Did you see what I did To Nick Young Listen 12 points He really had me Arguing about this He talking about Dog You realize If you get 12 points In the league You make like A hundred something million You make a lot of money He gave me a hundred Something million bro. I big 12 points a game. No, no, no. Get the fuck out of here. You know they got that. I think Wissnake told me that Jeff Teague is something. You know, they tell you you just got to make a certain amount of points a game, right? Or a certain amount of average, right? Your average got to be a certain thing, right? That's not necessarily true, but you got to basically, you got to do your job. So your job, listen, your job is that. Your job is what? This many points a game or this many rebounds? What is it? So if you're the scorer, you are expected to lead your team in scoring. But just because you're on the court don't mean you can go out there jacking shit up because you're a starter. You see what I'm saying? Like, everybody has a role to play. Like, the ball has to go to the number one man first. Then you got the second option. Then you got the third option. If you're the third option, you're coming down jacking that motherfucker, you're going to sooner or later be the seventh man on the bench because you're not giving the ball to the one or two option first. That's how it goes. But, all right, Say if I'm on the bench. And normally the one or two options are the niggas who making the most money. Oh, so damn. I messed that up. So if I'm coming off the bench and I score 12 points, they put me in the game. I'm somebody on the team now. If you averaging 12 to 15 points off the bench today in the NBA, you're making $100 million. That's what I'm telling you. I told you that, number one. So I said, that's six shots. I only got to make six shots out of four quarters. You think I can't do that shit, cuz? No, you can't. That's how I used to think to average 20. I just need five points a quarter. Think about that. Who can't do that shit? I mean, it's easy to me, but... Fuck is you talking about you? No, no, what I'm saying, this is what I'm trying to say. Fuck is you talking about you? In this day and time, you mean to tell me... Listen, listen, listen. Hold, hold, hold. He's trying to convince himself. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is what I'm saying. He said the big three. I don't... Q be hating. I don't get that much time. They had me on the bench. Oh, yeah, and also, I seen you and Gil play two-on-two against people, right? No, he be ball hogging. He score, but he got to score all the points. He's a ball hogger. He don't pass. I'm going to show you something. You made that one move on B-Hen. Now you want to. No, no, no. I got big plays. I got footage. Shaq, is it safe to say on some real shit before we get to the rap shit? Yeah. You know, you my brother always got to talk some basketball shit with you. I got you. That's Donovan Mitchell. I just cooked Donovan Mitchell. I cooked him. So, okay. I cooked Donovan Mitchell. I'm watching that. I ain't got to talk. But let me ask you one question. Can you make six shots just like you made that one? Yes, I did. Watch this. Watch this. That's my question. That's Donovan Mitchell. Can you make six shots just like you made that one go in? That's two points. Here go another NBA, Nick Young. That's two points. That's four points. Now, that actually didn't look bad. You tried to shoot that one off the glass. No, we did. The first one, nobody shoots the glass on top of the key. No, but listen, listen. At the end of the day, that's four points. Two NBA boys. That was. I give you that. I give you that. So what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is, Donald Mitchell is the leader on the team of Cleveland. He the leader on the team. He scored on both them boys. One was an accident and the other one. No, it was no accident. That was a turnaround. Ah! That was a two. You seen me. Come on, you seen my four. I give you that. Y'all over. This shit is overrated. I think the NBA is overrated. Listen. If they told somebody, if they told me, Wala, go in there and get 10A game, I'm getting it. Right now at 46, I'm getting it. I got it. Stag, is it safe to say, right, and I just need a yes or no answer. I don't even want no explanation. Is it safe to say that the overseas players, without a doubt, is better than the players from the United States? Today, yes. Okay. How are they better? I'm going to say they have more players that's better. Like, they have a... That team, that world team, if Jokic and Luka play, they winning that shit right now. If Sha play, they winning that shit right now. Damn, I forgot Sha. You got to think about that. Wimby, like, they winning this shit right now. Yup, Wimby too. And you got to think, all the MVPs from the last five, six years are people from overseas. Sha, Luka, Jokic, Giannis, all of them. They must be winning all MVPs. Damn, you right. B. Today they are, and that's why so many guys, Matt talking about it, him and some other guys, they talking about building an American basketball game. How you going to do that? I have no idea, because I don't care that much. But do you think it took a hit? This is what I believe. I be thinking American basketball is going to take a hit, because dude's getting NIL money in college now, and it's slowing the game down. That's a part of it, but it starts before that. Okay, now it starts now with the kids that's coming out of high school, that would go to college and be able to play in college and maybe go to the NBA after one or two years. Now they have maybe have to go to prep school or do something else because everybody in college is 25 and up now, 24 and up now, right? You know what I'm saying? Now the NBA, now you got these 26-year-olds that's getting to the NBA. They really ain't they talented when they get there, but they big enough to dominate in college. So now they get into the NBA and they really trash. Damn. Because they've been getting all these NIL money. And they're playing. They're getting the minutes. The young kids somewhere trying to find a school, them older motherfuckers that's been in college three years already, they're getting all the minutes. You know what I'm saying? So they get an opportunity when they get to the NBA. Half of them burn out because they've been playing four years of college already. And the other kids, when they get to the NBA, they've already reached their potential. So they're not really doing shit. So it starts when they fuck over the high school kids first. Then these kids are getting the NIL money. and half of them are complacent with getting that money. They ain't worried about getting to the league. I'm going to parlay this shit because more kids today, and this is the game I'm going to give y'all. More kids today are worried about, they love what the game can do for them than loving the game. They love the cause, the attention, the Instagram page, all this shit that come with it, but they don't love the game. And that's why you see it so hard to get competition in the All-Star game. 2020 I played in the rookie. I played in the rookie All-Star game. It was Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, Stephon Mulberry, Trace McGrady. And it was and they had one big man against Tim Duncan, KG Jason Kidd all them big towers from the West But it came back from 20 down in the All game in DC Everybody was standing up because you know that a whole bunch of real motherfuckers on that course they banged they went hard and that was one of the most entertaining all-star games because them niggas kid you got a whole bunch of motherfuckers that's out there that came from the struggle like we came from you know I'm saying that play basketball for free since what people like we play basketball for free our whole life but you got to love it willing to do that but to pay you off later on in life. You got, as kids, AAU, we wouldn't get paid there. We walked from court to court. My mama told me at eight years old, she woke up my morning, I was gone, and they was looking for me. I was like 10 miles in my auntie house, playing outside of no court, because I didn't have one at the house. That's how much we wanted to love the game. We wanted to be around it, and it's not the same no more. But I'm not mad at them, they getting the money, but the product is lacking. You know what I'm saying? And that's not fair to the fans. And you got to take care of the fans. Now, let me ask you a question. Right now, the age you is, could you go in the league and how many points could you score? Right now. No, shut up. No, I need to find this out. I'm going to be honest with myself. I work out every day. Oh, I bet. But I ain't played basketball in almost two, three years. So today, no, I wouldn't even do that to myself. Hey, guys, it's Rianne Fran. If you're looking for a cola that delivers, Pepsi Prebiotic Cola is it because nothing beats that great Pepsi taste. Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. You should pick some up if you haven't already. It's the perfect drink when you are ready to just relax, sit on the couch, watch a movie and enjoy a delicious Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. The way I play, I will get hurt. you know what I'm saying? Because I play at 110, as y'all know. So, no. But if you gave me a year and the doctor told me my body was good enough to go and play 10, 15 minutes a game, I probably can get 8 to 10 points. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on, though. If he get 8 to 10 points, I know what I can get. Hold on, wait. So, you ain't really shot no rock in two years? No. Since I was having a big three, I really ain't did shit. But what's the court out there and we gonna get this nigga? I get him out of here. I get him out of here. I get him. They play as out. We get this thing. Yeah, I get your memory. She's like riding the bike. No, no, no, no. He's like riding the bike dog. He's going to need to warm up. We ain't letting him warm up. Yeah, he was out there playing the big old head. I'm taking him straight. I'm taking our chances straight off the gas right to the court. No, come on, nigga. The best out of 10, nigga. Now, hey, I'm what's my record? Two and one. I'm going to play a horse. Bonson beat me a horse. Bonson. well yeah okay that's crazy now and she gilders alexander he's gonna be like i'm two and two she don't know a while ago get you why why why i get him out of this respect he might just get it today because he's been real i get his son him and his son been ducking his son ain't even nowhere he's never nowhere to be found they've been calling me and my son out all three years on but i'm gonna say this though no response but still calling us out i'm gonna say some names to you right yeah and i want i want you know your opinion uh i'm gonna say a couple of them and you can you want as i say by name you can think about it big mike scarface ghetto boys uh rap a lot records suave house swisher house uh Lil Flip Lil Flip Kiki Trade the Truth Slim Thug Paul Wall Chameleon there Mike Jones I can't forget Screw DJ Screw Rest in Peace 5,000 watts When you hear that A lot of these kids Ho-Ho. Forgive me. Pimsy. No, no, forgive me. I was going to say that. I was going to say that. UGK. Yeah, I was going to say that. UGK. Listen, when you think about all this, when you hear all the names, what do you think about immediately? The soundtrack to my life, to my upbringing. I grew up listening to all that. I mean, of course, UGK the most because I'm from Port Arthur. But Scarface, Ghetto Boys was definitely a big part of my life. I think Lil' Kiki has been one of my favorite rappers since the early 90s, you know, when DJ Screw first came out with the tapes and freestyles. I'm just happy to be embraced by all of them. You know what I'm saying? Like, especially as an athlete, you know, there's not too many athletes can say that they were. Oh, could this vintage store be any cuter? Right? And the best part? Except Discover. Except Discover? In a little place like this? I don't think so, Jennifer. Oh, yeah, huh? Discover is accepted where I like to shop. Come on, baby, get with the times. Right, so we shouldn't get the parachute pants? These are making a comeback. I think. Discover is accepted at 99% of places that take credit cards nationwide. Based on the February 2025 Nielsen Report. We're blessed to be able to do songs with people that grew up listening to it. You know, a rapper can, but not an athlete. I did songs with Squatface. you know what I'm saying, Bun B, all these people I've been listening to. So that's the soundtrack of my life, man. You even add people like Street Military in there, you know what I'm saying. Sauce Walker. Sauce Walker. Definitely Sauce. That's all. I've been embraced by all of them in that Houston culture. Slim Thug. That's my brother. Our singer's popping right now all over the radio, dollar sign. So, like I said, just being listening and growing up and listening to all these dudes and not having relationships with them, I think that's the best part of it for me. Who the number one Texas artist of all time? That's hard. You can't do that. No, you should kill. Yeah, I'm going to go Scarface. Yeah, see. I'm going to go Scarface. Shout out to my man Willie D, too. I'm going to say this. What was going through your mind the first time you heard Pocket Full of Stones? I felt proud. I felt like I made this song because I was a youngster running the streets, a little dirty kid trying to figure out whooping, being around all the bad shit. That was a heavy song. I said it'd be so small. That's what was going on. And I said it. And I'm going to tell y'all. It's a song called Short Texas. Okay. You know, that's big around that time too. And they talk about how people came from out of town and tried to sell dope. And he got robbed. Yeah. Yeah. I know y'all heard that song. I was on robbery. Well, he was talking about my older brother that passed. You know, some rest of the peace to my older brother. My older brother was the one that ran out there. You know what I'm saying? They dudes were sitting there. He went out there and grabbed the gun and set all the shit off. I end up hearing this from my partner, Blue Hands, P. Shoe, and my other homeboy, Mike D., that was actually out there that day. And all these songs, like I said, all these songs, I was right there growing up around all this shit. So I was proud to say I was from Port Arthur. We had nothing else going on but Janis Joplin and Jimmy Johnson at the time. You know what I'm saying? So we was just proud to say we was from Port Arthur. Now, when it comes to music, when did you first start? You know, really saying, damn, I get at this shit. around the time where screw first started happening so around that time when screw came out they did a lot of freestyling that was a lot of the tapes he put out Lil Kiki and Fat Pat, he'll play beats and they'll freestyle over, you know what I'm saying so we used to buy the tapes and ride to them, that's what it, I mean screw used to have a line around his house buying tapes I never been to his house but I had a homeboy he used to go get tapes but the tapes he had so many tapes that they started getting circulated around from Houston to Port Arthur to Louisiana to Dallas. So, we used to ride around and freestyle. So, just like they did, we used to play beats and freestyle. So that's how I actually started rapping. My homeboy, Lil Dan and Wayne House on 11th Street because they had, his brother was a DJ. So I just started there. But, when I, when I, when I started playing overseas and started making money, that's when I started putting out music. I think my first song I did was with Powwow and the Grid Boys in Houston. I jumped on their mixtape And after that, during my whole career, I started dropping mixtapes, doing shows, you know what I'm saying, all that stuff. And, you know, it's just something that I know I can do. You know what I'm saying? I know I was better than some rappers, and a lot of people think we do it just because we got money. You know what I'm saying? But I go against anybody with it. And, you know, I grew up singing in church choir just like everybody else, so music was a part of my life. You know what I mean? So it just come natural. One thing I can say is you always been into the music because me and Jack met back in, I want to say, 2000. Was that your rookie year? 2000 was my rookie year. Yeah. He was a rookie. He was in San Antonio. You came up on our tour bus. Oh, man. You came up on our tour bus. That was 03 when I was playing in San Antonio. Oh, yeah. Okay. I was living there. Yeah. Okay. Y'all was on tour or something. No, that had to be. You was a Birdman, right? No, there had to be. You came up on Major Figures tour bus. You don't remember that? Uh-uh. No. Yes. Yes, with a shitload of weed. This is the first time I ever met you, bro. I remind you. I got so burnt out. This is the first time I ever met you. You came up on a tour bus. You had a shitload of weed. What year did you get drafted? 2000. That's my rookie in 2000. You was a rookie, yes. Okay, okay, okay. We was on the road, on the tour bus, going from city to city, and we got to San Antonio, I believe, and you came up on the tour bus with a shitload of weed. Shitload of weed. We was half the end of the month. And that's how we was in tune to all the music from the East Coast, from DJ Screw. Because he used to screw all that shit down. He used to slow it down. That's how we listened to all our music, slow it down. So all the top songs in the East Coast and West Coast that how we learned all that shit And it awesome We basically listen to everything But you know Screw was basically our heart music Now as you go into music what is your approach That's a good question. I'm not doing the shit to be in clubs, doing shows and shit like that. I done done that. You know what I'm saying? My whole career, I was playing the game the same night doing shows. You know what I'm saying? 500, 600 people. So I done done that. I think for me, my last project that I did called Good Trouble did a million. You know what I'm saying? A little over a million. So if I get a chance to do some big shit like a war show or, you know what I'm saying, some type of big music festival or something, I do that because I've never done shit like that. But I'm doing it. I'm really doing it because I love to do it and I know I can. You know what I'm saying? It took me two months to make this album. You know what I'm saying? Me upstairs, my wife's sitting on top Onside of me watching TV and I'm just sitting there writing So I just know I can do it though And this album was real therapeutic for me Like I said, I lost I just recently lost Q Rest in peace to Q And you know, in the last four years I lost my little brother and my little sister So This was therapeutic for me because I got a chance to Talk about my relationships that I lost with some of my friends You know what I'm saying The loss of my brother and sister, how I'm dealing with that the current state I'm in in life with the podcast and how successful I've been at everything. So it was it was therapeutic for me to talk about this shit, man. And I'm I'm I'm anxious to do it again. This episode of Million Dollars Worth a Game is brought to you by Square. You know, because in the black community, we always caught up in age. I don't know how we're the only people that figure that that's our whole thing is age. Why is it important just to live out your dreams no matter what? Well, for me, I'm one of them guys that I never wanted to be caught up alive and not living. Damn. There's so many people out here, they just ain't lying past and ain't doing nothing. Ain't accomplishing, ain't pushing themselves, ain't challenging themselves. And people rather be on the side of talking down on people that accomplish things instead of trying to follow their blueprint. Or give them flowers and hopefully they can get some type of God's favor. Because that's really what I've been having all my life, just a favor of Allah. I ain't doing nothing different. I ain't no different than nobody else. You know what I'm saying? I've just been a stand-up guy, and I always tell people this. The way you treat people and the way you live your life, that shows God that you're thankful for the favor that he gives you. So that's why I don't do no shady shit. That's why on my page I show love to all the shows and people I don't know. You know what I'm saying? That's why I don't hate on nobody. I don't talk about shit that ain't really got nothing to do with me because I'm comfortable where I'm at. You know what I'm saying? Everything is rolling like clockwork. And I know a lot of people don't get the opportunities we got. You know what I'm saying? Especially with the podcast. Y'all know. We came in together. Y'all know where we came from, where we started. If anybody know, y'all know. You know what I'm saying? Money-wise, all that. Y'all really get it. So I'm not fucking this shit up. You know what I'm saying? So I'm just in a good place, though. I'm doing what I want to do. Living my life on my own terms without demeaning nobody. And I think for the most part, people like y'all and all the solid people that's left, the few that's left, they respect it. How do it feel to know, you know, like your show called, you know what I mean, the smoke, right, because you and Matt talking about being in the league and doing your thing to see now people can just do what they want to do. Yeah. How do it feel to see that, like in sports? For me, it actually feel good because I know we had a hand in it. You know what I'm saying? I was the first person on ESPN wearing Viola gear talking about I smoked while I was playing. You know what I'm saying? Then Al did all the advocating. him and Matt did the advocating where they actually went set down with the NBA and all that. But as far as talking about it and admitting it and being free, that was me on ESPN. So I'm happy they can smoke freely and not get tested because I know what it did for me. You know what I'm saying? I didn't miss too many games. You know what I'm saying? I played a lot because after the game I was able to wind down and smoke. I've never been the guy to take pills. I've never been that guy. Weed has always been my medicine. But those guys to be able to do it, you know what I'm saying? Hopefully it'll give them more years on their career. And well, when they retire, they're not like the older guys that came before us where they was addicted to all these medicines to keep them from having pain and shit. But then when they retire, they ain't got no money to continue to get on those medicines. You know what I'm saying? They all fucked up. Now they dying and shit. So a lot of shit happened like that in the past. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to Chris Paul and Kyrie and them. All those older players that came before us, they got them the same insurance plan we have now. You know what I'm saying? So I think that was big too. But, you know, guys just got to lock in, man. I'm going to give you my top five, and I need you to give me yours. My top five right here. And I'm going to break down the top five. Dane. Lillard. Shaq. Kevin Durant. I know one name that's about to come in this shit. No, no, no. Sean Kemp ain't got nothing to do with this. Thank you. No, no. Listen, listen. Derayman. Sean Kemp. my two favorite players, my three, because a lot of people say my game was like Ray Allen. Ray Allen. Ray Allen. Ray Allen. No, it's not, though. Ray Allen is one of the best shooters of all time. My favorite three players is Sean Kemp. No, I got four. Sean Kemp, Ray Allen, and Dennis Rodman. What about him? Everybody say my games mirror all of them. Word. But listen, as I got older, more Dennis. But I'm going to say this. All right, so I would say Damian Lillard, Shaq, Dame Lil Shaq KG I mean not KG Kevin Durant and I'm trying to think of a couple more but I was trying to give you my top five favorite rappers yeah them was like in the league yeah like what I heard I didn't I didn't heard I didn't heard Durant on some shit he did his thing Dame Dame Dollar Shaq who's yours? well the only people I put before me right now because they actually do it, and they've had more success from me. Actually, like Dame has done all kind of shows. Yeah, Dame, Dame. Award shows, you know what I'm saying? Shaq went platinum. I don't think nobody sold more to Shaq. But I would put them two before me. Let me just say this. I put all y'all on the song. Who getting out? Who spitting the best verse? Well, I mean, I feel like, you know, Shaq, I appreciate Shaq getting on Still Rainin'. We can finally put that shit to bed. You know what I'm saying? We did that. But I think I... Oh, you cooked him? I think I cooked him. Oh, he cooked Shaq. You cooked the decent. Shaq, you cooked decent. What I'm supposed to say, Shaq cooked me? No, I'm just saying. Listen, sometimes you record record, you'd be like, all right, that nigga got on. I was so confident I recorded my verse and sent it to him. And let him go after you. Yeah. And I let him go after me and put his verse first on the song. Damn. But Shaq went crazy. I can't wait till y'all hear it. He went crazy, bro. You ain't never heard Shaq like this. I can't wait He go crazy But you know Him and Dame Had more success than me More success than me With the music so far But I listen to all them niggas I listen to Marquise Dame I listen to Lou Williams Oh yeah Lou Williams I listen to Barron Davis You know what I'm saying I listen to the young kid Bridges In Charlotte He get down You know So I listen to all of them But you know I spot with anybody I always say I been the best So when it come to ball for ball and shit I saying I ready for anybody dog So you saying if they had an NBA? I'm ready for it. A bracket, a bracket. No, an NBA edition. I tried to get Dame on the song with me and Shaq. No, okay, but hold on. Hold on. Ask him. But, you know, I respect it because he was going through rehab and trying to get ready for a three-point contest. You know what I'm saying? So I respect it. He been down, so I respect it. Because I talked to him, he asked me to send it to him. But one day we're going to get on the song and spoil. Okay, so let me just ask you this question. I would want to do this. Because this would be nice. If... Thy ticket, Lady Jennifer of Coolidge. Well, many thanks, good sir. Heareth my Discover card. They accept Discover at Renaissance Fairs? Yeah, they do here. And y'all had to go on stage and rap three verses against each other. Stack, you taking that shit? I'm going to say no, nigga. Hell yeah, I'm taking it. I ain't, I ain't, we can write our, well. Who do you think will be your toughest battle? I'm going to say Dane. I'm going to say Dane. I'm going to say Dane because, because of his delivery. Dane, Dane has a solid delivery, bro. You know what I'm saying? He got a, he got a real rapper delivery. You know what I'm saying? Marquise do too, but Marquise don't rap as much now because he coaching in college. You know what I'm saying? but like even BD but Dane Dane flow is perfected you know what I'm saying Dane Dane is Dane really know what he doing yeah you can listen to his music and how he rapped when he he really been in there for some years you know what I'm saying and I've been in there for some years you know what I'm saying so I really have a lot of respect for Dane but anybody I go against she ain't been in there for the most years and I'm confident against him too over the years so what the D's would say would you like to hear my verse so what I said So hold on, so what the D's will say, so Stack, you don't really want it with the D's. Call Shaq. He didn't say that. Call Shaq. He didn't say that. He didn't say that. No, I'm talking about with y'all on stage. At the back. I'm not. I'm not. Because see, I'm saying, if we ever, if we get to spit three verses, like I ain't no battle rapper, so I ain't typing nigga. I promise you. You going to write it. Yeah, but I'm saying y'all got to go write it. Yeah, but and I'm getting it. Yeah, they write it too. Battle rappers write it too. Just like the battles rappers. Let's write this shit. Y'all know what's going on. Y'all get there. Y'all know who y'all battling. Y'all get time to write y'all raps. Yeah. Yeah, y'all got to write that shit. Yeah, I'm down. Y'all got to write. I'm down. Now, now, now. When you look at the league, right, what changes need to be made? Well, see, you know, it's hard for me to answer low because I don't watch that shit to the playoffs. Because I know, you know, I played this shit. I know how a lot of stars, they get weak. They weak. They nah. They play. beginning of the season, they take it easy. Then they exert the energy to get to the All-Star game, just to get to the All-Star. Come back after the second half, after All-Star, cruise a little bit, then towards the end of the season, going into the playoffs, that's when everybody start playing hard. So that's what I want to watch. I don't want to watch the half-ass basketball and niggas playing for their own accolades or for their own selfish reasons. Because, you know, I've seen it with my own eyes. So, playoffs, I watch it and you know what I'm saying? I think for the most part, they do a great job around that time of the year because everybody actually care about the game and they feel like they playing for something. Now, you got music. Damn, music and sports. They need a show like that. Because there's a lot of people that do music. There's a lot of whack motherfuckers do music too. Oh, come on. Listen, listen. I'm just saying. Listen, I'm not going, because I was an emcee myself too. So, you know what I mean? I was one of the best that ever come out of Philly. but that's another story. I didn't come out of Philly because I went to jail. But I'm saying Gil had... I was writing his raps from jail. So fuck out of here. Gil had success. Why he never put you on the track? Because I went down. He was locked up. I went down. By the time he was locked up... I was his manager before I went down. By the time he came home he was more like a karaoke singer. Yeah. Fuck out of here. You know what I mean? From doing all that shit in jail so it really wasn't going. You couldn't rap when you came home anyway. Wasn't you a preacher? He came home talking about you'll never find... Wasn't you a preacher in jail? Didn't he say you was a preacher? He lied. He said, I don't know. Asshole like bars. He didn't get the fuck out of here. He give me all type of cases in jail. All these jobs I supposedly had. Oh, so you wasn't really a preacher? I wasn't a preacher in jail. See, Stav, I ain't another job. Nah, nah, nah, nah. See, Stav, I ain't another job. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. He ain't another occupation. Nah, no, I thought you was a preacher in jail, no. They call him Reverend Lou Sheets. They know they got them jail preachers, man. They say you wasn't a, oh, Bill was lying. OK, my bad. Bill was lying on that. I don't know what to believe from the nigga. You were in a congregation of the jail called St. Mattress. St. Mattress is crazy. I did. No, I did. God damn, bro. He's a dickhead. Don't fall off that ledge. St. Mattress, man. He lied on me, man. Listen, you know, I had a game in jail, though. I used to ball in jail here and there. Oh, my. But once I realized that you get stabbed for making the layup on somebody, I immediately retired.
