Summary

Hosts Angela and Ari discuss the biblical story of the woman caught in adultery from John 8, exploring themes of grace, mercy, judgment, and repentance. They emphasize that Jesus offers compassion without condemnation while simultaneously calling people to higher standards, and encourage listeners to extend similar grace to others rather than engaging in judgment.

Insights
  • Jesus's response to the woman caught in adultery demonstrates that grace and truth operate together—He neither condemns nor excuses sin, but calls people to transformation
  • Religious judgment and condemnation are common among Christians and can be a barrier to faith for non-believers; the church should model Jesus's approach of compassion over criticism
  • Isolation amplifies shame spirals and condemning thoughts; confessing struggles to trusted people is essential for breaking cycles of guilt and embarrassment
  • Repentance is not a one-time conversion event but an ongoing moment-by-moment practice of acknowledging sin and turning toward Jesus
  • Moving from morality-based Christianity (trying to be 'good') to grace-based Christianity (partnering with the Holy Spirit) is transformative and empowering
Trends
Growing emphasis on grace-centered theology over shame-based or morality-focused religious teachingRecognition of judgment and condemnation as significant barriers to Christian community and faith adoptionShift toward vulnerability and confession as spiritual practices rather than sources of shameIntegration of mental health language (shame spirals, isolation, condemning thoughts) into religious discourseFocus on personal relationship with God over institutional religious performance and rule-following

We're gonna talk today about this story in John chapter 8 It's the woman who's caught in adultery We've been sitting on this for a couple of weeks and I think we've been really excited I think you know the story that we're gonna read is literally the gospel encapsulated It is a story of mercy grace A woman who is sinful a Jesus who is sinless And Jesus does not join the crowd that is shaming the woman But he offers mercy and compassion which is who he is and I think this story means a lot to Ari and I because it's so like It's just our story. It's our story of Jesus meeting two girls who were not living at the standard that they should have been but never condemning never shaming but also Holding to a higher standard and saying like come you're better than this you I'm calling you to something different and I think Something that I want to mention you guys know about Ari and I's devotional out of the wilderness 31 days to walk with God through your hardest seasons so many people are experiencing freedom and transformation and Getting filled with the Holy Spirit and just like really encountering Jesus So you can go to girls gone Bible comm slash book and get yours and then while we're here We also want to mention that we are on the girls gone Bible live tour Our favorite thing we love tour so much. And I think it's important to note that these Pharisees and teachers of the religious law We're trying to catch Jesus in a lie in a scam in Some sort of crime so that they couldn't prison him during this time They were coming after Jesus in whatever way trying to slip him up trying to manipulate him or get him to say something That would give them the authority to put him in jail And I don't know if anyone knows but Jesus is all-knowing all powerful all intelligent You can't trip our guy up So they were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him But Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger They kept demanding an answer so he stood up again and said all right But let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust When the accusers heard this they slipped away one by one Beginning with the oldest until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman where are your accusers? Didn't even one of them condemn you? No, Lord. She said and Jesus said neither do I go and sin no more One other thing that I want to say that I think is important to know is that What they were trying to do at this point Romans didn't allow Jews to carry out the death sentence So in this moment they basically are literally trapping Jesus because they're saying are you if Jesus? Did say stone the woman he would be going against the law of the Rome without the Romans Set for them that they weren't allowed to carry out the death sentence But if he didn't stone her then he would be accused of being unsupportive of the religious law So they basically put him in a situation that no matter what he did they can put him in jail and What else is interesting about this is the law? They altered the law a little bit because the law says both people who are involved in the act of adultery are meant to be Charged and they only bring out the woman which is so interesting. Oh, yeah, I know that I thought that too when when I was reading this I said, where's the man? You know what I love about this. I Well first of all if you I just I love this story so much because So many of us go through this I I loved like using my imagination to actually picture the story when the woman Came out. Can you imagine how? humiliated afraid Embarrassed ashamed she felt I was picturing her coming out like they literally drag her her out in the middle of getting caught In this act. Yeah, she may have been naked. Maybe wearing like a sheet I don't but can you imagine being in a crowd of all these people how humiliated she was and I love I just kept reading the part of when Jesus came out and he had like he he was looking down and he was writing in the sand and like no one I tried to look up like what he would throw and I couldn't know and I was what he wrote but As I like pictured this story. I just I Think it's so it's so Jesus. It's so kind that he was looking down When she was in the middle naked and afraid he he didn't want to look at her like Because he had so much respect. I don't know when I think about even The times that I felt ashamed like And I was met with his love He was never looking at me with this condemning like that's how I fell in love with him He never made me feel ashamed and I can only imagine when this woman was sitting there Naked ashamed Jesus was not looking at her. Yeah, he was just looking down like this just just drawn in the sand I think that's so sweet. It's so sweet. This is one of the most tender Precious beautiful encounters in all of scripture One of my favorite parts he stands up and says all right Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone and it's like This whole it's it's the scripture that talks about be careful about thinking about the plank in or the spec in somebody else's eye When there's a plank in your own eye, you cannot condemn somebody else's sin Unless you are somebody who's never sinned before you might not have been caught in the act of adultery But is there something else that you've done? Absolutely because every single one of us So I love this picture so much of Jesus saying to a crowd of people setting The stage that in the kingdom of god, there is no room for condemnation from Jesus He'll never condemn us but we are not allowed to condemn each other either and you never ever ever Have the right to condemn somebody for their sin. Yeah Even if they committed a sin that is way more heinous than anything you would ever do Yeah, because god doesn't look at sin like that. Yeah, you know And so and that's not to say obviously you give an allowance to sin But I think as christians the easiest thing you can do is judge people The easiest thing you can do. I've done it. Are you kidding me? You think I haven't Looked at someone and been like I would never do that. Yeah, of course. Of course. Are you sure? Be careful Thinking of yourself so highly that you would never do I have heard countless pastors say just like really be careful ever Judging somebody for their mistakes or their falls Because you don't know where you'll find yourself one day and I love when Michael Culliano said Why am I going to look at your sin when I have so much sin of my own sir? And it's and and that goes for everyone but these religious Pharisees are no different from All these people all these christians right that right under you know instagram cat instagram Comments and It's no different and that and and so you read the story and you read the way Jesus was and that should make you think If we are a body of christ where we are we are the body which means we are the example of Jesus christ Which means we are the representation Of who jesus is which means what for an unbeliever to come we should make them feel Loved saved and not judged. Yes. Yes. Yes So many i'm just gonna say this because I can't we we come from the world And I myself was so afraid to come to christianity. I see still it's Makes me sick because I see even on our photos even on our videos. Yes. No I mean we get more love than hate and we There's there's we have met the most incredible christians But there is this other side that is religion that is so judgmental and it is embarrassing It embarrasses us and it's it makes people never want to come to christianity and so I love that you say that that you say i've been someone that judge because I have too When I started cleaning up my act i'm like to my friends i'm like why are you acting that way? Oh, oh, yes Yeah, you you let jesus do a little work in you and then you fit you forget where you came from You better relax some people want to do I started thinking I was like I know seriously and that's and we say that in in a funny spirit too because we want you to know Judging and condemning is first of all. It's like it's a sin. It's evil. It's not good and it's incredibly normal And so I don't we don't want people to feel shame because judgment Is something that we wrestle with on the daily. It is an active. I think Ari and I within the past little while Have both gotten really serious about judgment because you can genuinely justify not even gossiping but judging people as Like discernment and processing and like you're just trying to figure something out and I Decided recently and I'm not saying I'm perfect at all, but this is like a genuine conviction of mine where I'm like I'll find myself Speaking about something and being like do I like do I actually need to judge this situation like that? Or do I maybe not have any idea what I'm talking about? Do I need to speculate and make assumptions about this person or this ministry or this Whatever like do I actually or this church like that's where I found myself a lot? This is what christians do too. I'm one of them. I think maybe you too I don't even judge. I don't judge non christians Right like for the most part But when it's another believer I you feel a little bit more entitled to be like but you follow jesus and you should be x y and z So for unbelievers we give so much grace to but I even think Like we need to be so careful with other christians that yes, we're meant to hold each other to higher standards call each other out Call out sin you're absolutely meant to but you also Are meant to give people grace even when they follow jesus because none of us are perfect Oh, I'll tell you who's definitely not perfect And there's nothing more comforting than when I can call A friend and say my sin and they accept me with grace Because that's what jesus does and I hope we can all Start to be like that and even like just read the story and get checked when we yeah start to feel a little bit judgmental And to like There's just I don't want to bring this up right now, but Okay guys real talk we are not chefs We are follow the vibes hope for the best girls, which is why the pan matters a lot Also, once we learned most non-stick pans still use Teflon slash PFA's aka forever chemicals We were like absolutely not in our house So we switched to our place their cookware is completely toxin free made without PFA's slash PTFE's and somehow makes us look way more capable than we are our place Four-piece cookware set replaced a whole chaotic stack of pots and pans that didn't even match with just four pieces We can sear saute bake boil steam roast and fry the translation is fewer dishes more dinner And when you buy the set you save 150 dollars the non-stick is dreamy it wipes clean and the colors are so pretty It feels like decor that cooks and honestly our cooking got an upgrade We used it for the first time the other day and we were so impressed and we actually look forward to cooking now And it looks good in our kitchen. So the vibes are good. The food's good. What's up? It's very Nancy Meyers Very Nancy Meyers you guys please stop cooking with toxic cookware and upgrade to our place today visit from ourplace.com Slash ggb and use code ggb for 10% off site wide with 100 day risk free trial free shipping and returns You can experience this game changing cookware with zero risk I'll just say that you just don't know what somebody's past is you don't know how they grew up If they were abused like you just don't know what somebody has battled and why they do the things they do And their ignorance to why they why they're doing the things they do and so Just I just hope that we can all just have hearts of hearts of compassion totally Hearts of more compassion more mercy more grace for people people are really hurting and suffering. They really are they They're blind They have blinders on and we do so much in ignorance and I know I did Over and over again sometimes even when I did know yeah, and so um, yeah And I think being aware that all of us have an inclination towards judgment You just do like all every single human has an inclination to be like Look down on someone if they see them sin or this or that or make a mistake or act in a way that they wouldn't act and I think Don't shame yourself or be like, oh, I'm such a bad person because I know I'm judgmental I know that I think this This type of things about people But what you can do is when the judgment comes up in your heart when the thoughts of judgment and condemnation towards others comes up Genuinely check yourself and be like i'm going to choose to have compassion on that person and be like For me what's really helped Because this has been an area that the lord has like really brought to my attention of like I want you to have so much compassion for people and I feel like now what's really helped me is that anytime that I feel myself get judgmental towards someone I I because when I hear somebody else I have people in my life who are so compassionate and we're so compassionate, but you can even be more compassionate I have people in my life who I hear The way that they talk about people and if someone Talks about someone or mentions that someone has a struggle or something or a sin or this And I can see a person whose immediate reaction is like That is so hard. Yeah, that's so sad. Yeah, that makes me be like I want to be that type of person Who sees someone struggle or sin or act or behave in whatever and be like, oh man My heart is burdened for them. Yeah, so for me going from a place of judgment because it's natural Especially if if you have a standard of the way you live your life It's like it's natural to want to judge people but choosing to take that and be like Oh man, I'm burdened for them. Yeah, that's That makes jesus sad. Yeah, like they must be feeling that because x y and z their childhood They're this they're that like it makes sense why they would feel that way and act that way To choose to turn that judgment to compassion. I think is the most beneficial And pleasing thing to god like I just imagine he loves when we do that. Yeah, of course I think something I do too is I mean, I yeah, I I will think about Myself. Yeah, I always go back to that moment on my floor in the shower and when I was just so I felt so rejected and and gone and worthless And how much compassion jesus gave me over and over and over and love and grace and mercy and love and grace and mercy My whole journey when I kept falling. He was like picking me back up over and over again And so I just think about Yeah, the way he he Forgives and loves and gives so much grace and I'm like I don't know. It just it just makes you want to be better So when you remind yourself of that the way he forgave us and the way he gives us grace You want to give that same grace to somebody else? Jesus then says So he says all right because they're demanding an answer and he says that the first one who has never sin Throw the first stone and then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust And then when the accusers heard this that if you've never sinned then you can throw a stone They slipped away one by one Until only jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman By the way, that's a perfect picture of what happens when you let the lord defend you when you let jesus have your back When you give up a fence when you give up the right to defend yourself You will see That one by one every enemy and i'm talking spiritually i'm not talking people but every adversary every enemy everything in your life Like you see it go one by one when you actually let jesus fight your battles for you Uh, then jesus stood up again and said to the woman Where are your accusers didn't even one of them condemn you? Is there even one person that is sinless? Is there even one person? He's basically saying to all of us. Is there even one? Person who is worthy of throwing a stone? And the answer is no just one his name is jesus and he never throws the stone And then she says no lord and jesus said Neither do i Go ahead and sin no more one of the most Powerful lines in the entire bible go and sin no more You see this moment where jesus calls out all the hypocrites and says unless you have Never sinned Then you can throw a stone at this girl who has and nobody can do that So basically he's defending her saying that do not condemn do not judge So he's defending her But he's not letting her off the hook because then he looks at her directly in the face and says go and sin No more so jesus is always defending you and taking your shame Jesus on the cross took our shame so you don't have to carry that shame. You don't have to live in that condemnation However at the same time he's also saying Go and sin no more you're better than this you're higher than this I've called you to something completely different and I think something That I love about this so much is I talked about this on ggb plus, but like I come from an albanian culture Which is a lot of like shame culture a lot of eastern european countries and foreign countries. It's kind of like Like a shame culture like it's just the way it is like you you carry shame You shame people into being better. It's just shame. It's just a lot of shame So I've had to go on a long journey with shame and I'm still on a long journey because I find myself Getting embarrassed a lot and like it's the one emotion That I don't want to feel anymore Like in bad like to embarrass. Yeah, things embarrass me and I see people who are truly um free of shame And like operating out of freedom and they don't get embarrassed Like you can say something about them. You can bring up their past. You could bring up mistakes. They've made you could Call out something in them. That's not good And they don't get embarrassed because they're like, yeah, it is what it is I'm not gonna have shame about it and like i'm not there I still feel and I've done a lot of work when it comes to shame, but I find myself getting embarrassed a lot and even like there's something specific where This is like Jesus I love reading the story because god had a lot of grace for arya and I when we first started girls gone bible He had a lot of grace With so many things about us where I want to maybe get a little embarrassed or maybe feel a little bit of shame I always think about Jesus and how he wasn't embarrassed of me. Yeah, like isn't that crazy? I'm running around representing. I am this broken vessel that is carrying the name of Jesus running around Trying to represent him in a way that pleases him off Probably misrepresenting him and he's not embarrassed. So when I think about this story like Jesus is in the middle of this situation with this woman And these people are coming for him and they're basically saying like if you don't take care of this you're condoning this You're okay with this. You're a part of this and this is a reflection of you And jesus stands there in the middle And doesn't move doesn't leave. He's not embarrassed. He's not ashamed He loves her and he honors her and he stands up for her he stands up for her That's another thing we can do as christians right where we want to be quiet. We see he stood up for grace He stood up for compassion. Yeah, and we should do that with each other. Exactly. Exactly and then He says the most beautiful thing and says enough What you're doing isn't working. What you're doing isn't right You're better now. Let's change So I just love so much that he came onto earth full of grace full of truth both together He does not let sin. He doesn't tolerate sin. He's not okay with it He gives grace but not to be abused and jesus never leaves you in a situation to stay the same Yeah, he's with you in it and he's simultaneously calling you out of it. So it's this two-way thing He's with you in it and he's calling you out of it. You have to be aware of both We can't have a gospel where jesus comes in and just sits with you in your sin and your Um Destruction. Yeah, he joins you in it and then he pulls you by the hand and takes you out of it Yeah, it's the perfect description of the gospel The precious gospel. He literally is standing in the middle of the woman And the law as a mediator and where the law wants to condemn you Jesus reaches out and releases you when you put your faith in jesus christ And when he says neither do not go and sin no more. He's not excusing her for her sin But he's saying I will release you from your sin when you And in in in your natural In your natural response to grace you do not sin anymore. Yes And your natural response of loving jesus you want to change and live for him. Yeah, and that's why we're like Intimacy read the bible get to know him understand who he is because when you know him you can't there's no going back Yeah, yeah, it's our natural response to want to live for jesus To want to live for jesus. Mm-hmm, and we fall we're not perfect. We'll always fall short but we Repentance is the greatest gift that we have the best gift. Let's talk about repentance. What do you think about repentance? I think that um It's something that It's a gift that we're giving I think conviction and repentance is is the greatest gift and We get to do it every day. Mm-hmm, and I get to not every day Like when I look at my old life I thought I was so good and I thought I was this good Perfect, you know, I'm like I'm such a nice girl. No I I was full of self. I was full of ego and I was full of pride and now I get have the gift of the opportunity to repent To be better to look more like jesus um And to want to strive to to do right. Yeah, and it's It's such a gift such a gift to want to be like jesus That's helped me so much Out of morality and into like a life of grace an empowerment from the holy spirit is realizing like My my goal is not to do the right thing Because that kept me in like a weird place for a long time My goal is to be like jesus To respond like jesus to react like jesus And to bear the fruit like truly like I know it's like the christian stuff like gentleness patience kindness peace love joy faithfulness self-control like these are the things that I meant to carry exhibit and like operate out of And I think it's it was something that kept me bound for a long time was this idea of like i'm a good person I think it was because that's like what the world says so much like I'm a good person whenever someone talks about religion or christianity. They always say I Don't like follow christianity. I'm just a good person and it's just such a like it's just it's it's empty What does that even mean and to who standard how it good is subjective to whoever? I'm sure there are like murders who thought they were good people You don't base like you've got it in life You've got to be able to measure things you have to be able to measure Good and there is god never calls us to be good. We talk about this He calls us to be like his son. He calls us to behave act respond react love And treat people like his son does and so for me it's been so helpful to get out of because I First of all played the I'm a good person card for a long time and it was able to like blind me It was so prideful Who are you to decide you're a good person because I can name a couple of them So good by the way, it's nobody nobody and And so I was able to get away with living in sin for a long time because I played that I said that so many times I'm a good person. I don't have to follow the whole bible because I'm a good person Um and then I leave that sort of mentality and then I go into I have to do the right thing I have to do the right thing I have to do right the right thing and then I get stuck in morality And that is just lifeless dead and For most people like actually will make you sin more Because when you think about not sinning the whole time, what are you gonna do? You're gonna sin the point is moving into like a Grace filled life where you realize That the holy spirit is already at work inside of you Doing a work doing the work He who began a good work is faithful to bring it to completion like I Have been so empowered to realize the truth that I gave my life to jesus I received the holy spirit. I've since been baptized in the holy spirit The holy spirit is a pot and in me and upon me at work Doing what he came to do To turn me into the image of jesus To form me into jesus to make me like the sun and so for me that's been so empowering and it's gotten me Out of morality where I've realized like my goal is not to just try to do the right thing My goal is to partner with the holy spirit Read about jesus so I know what he's like be aware of the fruit of the spirit So I know what I should be embodying and then react respond and behave in a way that reflects the person of jesus at all times But it's the holy spirit doing the work in me. That's what got me out of morality That I realized it's not about me just doing the right thing I meant to love jesus and let the holy spirit make me like him. Yeah, you know, you ow. Yep And keep reaching for grace. Yes. Keep reaching for grace I think one of the biggest things that we all go through is just the condemning Voices and our head that tells us to turn away from jesus to don't go to him when we start to when we fall into sin or when we're just I just want to I'm gonna say it again. These condemning thoughts are not jesus He's I want you to picture the story of him with this woman just picture him right now He he's bending down to this woman when she's just been caught and in the act of adultery and he's bending down to pick her up from it saying Um, do any of these people condemn you neither do I go sin no more How beautiful is that that's who he is? So if you're sitting someone that's sitting here in shame and and you're like i'm too far gone or i'm not christian enough I'm not He's bending down to you right now saying get back up. It's my grace. It's my mercy. I Grace in jesus. That's who he is they go together. He is grace. He is mercy and he also is just in truth And that's why if we just had grace and mercy then we'd always Just do whatever we want right that we have the gift that he's truth And that's why we live right and we strive to be right because we want to please him when you guys are feeling this These condemning voices. I want you to I want you to be reminded that Jesus will never condemn you. He's bending down to you saying get back up. Yes, and let's do this again Yes, and i'll add to that that if you're in a situation I think this is really important to tell you guys that Satan's number one way of getting into your life is by isolating you When you're having these overbearing condemning thoughts when you're stuck in a cycle of shame and Just condemning yourself and guilt and embarrassment and I can't believe I did that and everybody's condemning blah blah blah You need people to pray for you My biggest temptation when I'm in a shame spiral is to not talk to anyone not tell anyone not reach out and rebuke Those thoughts myself. I am not strong enough to do that on my own. I need People to speak into it. I need to tell somebody. Hey, this is what I'm feeling. This is what I'm thinking. I'm ashamed I'm embarrassed. I don't want to say this and I know we've said it a thousand times But guess what? I need a reminder constantly of the truth Because guess what we forget the truth you could study it live it breathe it and when your back is against the wall You forget the basics that you've learned you forget that you need to pick up the phone And confess and tell someone what you've been through what you've done what you're feeling What you're experiencing and it will immediately be released power But sitting in isolation and not telling anyone will absolutely destroy you So this is a PSA for everyone who has not reached out to tell someone I'm going through something really intense and I need help isolation also If you're someone that's struggling with lust And you don't know why and you're looking at other people and you're like, but they're not lustful. Why am I? Isolation being in the house sitting doom scrolling on the phone. Yeah These are things that are going to create you to feel so lustful right and Yeah, I just think isolation is the worst thing ever and it's yeah It's so true being by yourself letting those thoughts feed on themselves get bigger and bigger and bigger Reach out to someone stop it. We're going to pray for you right now Jesus for every single person that's watching and listening Lord everybody who is facing condemning thoughts guilt shame Embarrassment God I pray in the name of Jesus that you would expel Rebuke renounce and reject every lie from satan in their minds right now about who you are about who they are About what they've done about how they're too far gone. Jesus remove every lie Every condemning thought I pray that you fill their minds with pleasing beautiful uplifting Encouraging thoughts father. I pray that you would be a true father and encourage them in their own minds I pray that you fill their minds with encouragement I plead the blood of Jesus over their minds their bodies their spirits over every thought that enters into their minds I declare a hedge of protection around their minds And I pray father that anybody who is in a shame spiral Or like a depressive spiral Jesus. I pray that you would come and absolutely Break the doors open and have them let somebody else in have them light you in and completely stop the chaos That's ensuing in Jesus name Beautiful and is a lie from the devil If you're feeling like you can't bring your sin your shame The the the lies of the devil that he keeps telling you that you're stuck I want you to truly I want you to picture Jesus bending down picking you back up saying let's go. Yeah, I do not condemn you neither do I do not Do I can I want you to picture Jesus bending down saying I do not condemn you. I love you Get back up go sin no more. Let's try this again. I can't say it enough I can't tell you how many times I've been in that situation where I let the thoughts I started to believe the thoughts and I felt too far from gone from Jesus and I couldn't bring things to his feet Confess it to one another We're human beings. It's okay, and I just want you to I don't know I think I'm done And like Ari said Repentance is key repentance is beautiful turning away from sin turning towards Jesus. It is the beginning The basis the crux of a life with Jesus Repentance is not something you just do the day you get saved Repentance is something you do as many times as you need to for every Sin and not in a weird religious way, but like that's what true communion with the holy spirit is it's like a moment by moment conversation Oh lord, I didn't I repent that is I turn away from that and so yeah, we just encourage you guys repenting just looks like this Jesus Genuinely I like I acknowledge my sin. I acknowledge the mistake I like you have to be aware like I acknowledge What is wrong? Why it's wrong and what you actually want from me and I choose in this moment wholeheartedly To turn away from whatever that is whether it be a sin or even idolatry Whether it's like and I have to say it like I think we should repent from anxiety I think we should repent of worry and Control I repent for control More often than you would probably imagine because I see it come up in me So much. I'm like I didn't like that that what I just did that was Control that's based in fear like by I repent from that. I don't want that in my life And the reason why that's even a sin is because I've put that thing above Jesus Jesus isn't control So you just moment by moment say oh, I repent from that lord. I don't like that. I don't agree with that I come out of agreement I surrender that and I turn towards you and the truth of what you say about whatever that is Yeah, you just talk to him about everything talk. Tell him Tell him with your heart talk to him like he's your father Yeah, you know and in that in that place where you cry out and you talk to him about your Weaknesses and your sins you begin to feel the love of him You begin you begin to feel that comfort of your father And then when you get into that place of crying out and feeling so loved It's like you get into this communion with him where you're like, I don't even want that thing anymore. Yeah. Yeah, and I'll just say one more thing He took two girls who I'll speak for myself I I turned my back on him so many times I used to laugh at people when they would tell me that they were in purity I was so far away from Jesus. I was just I was so I couldn't be more further than From jesus and he took that girl and he I'm sitting here right now and he's completely Changed our lives. He's shaped our lives. He's he's put us on the right path and You just you guys just have no idea what happens on the other side of a surrendered lifestyle. So Um personal relationship. He wants to know you personally. He just he doesn't want religion like these Pharisees He wants to know you that's all he wants. He just wants to know you personally Personal relationship and it all starts sitting with him And being honest with him not being perfect, but it's in the place of honesty with him So good. He's not he's not scared of of of anything that you're that you're going through right now He can handle it all he already knows so bring it to him so he can heal it for you and walk through it with you So good We love you guys so much may the lord bless you and keep you may he make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you May he turn his face towards you and give you peace Shalom shalom Love you
