is Breaking news the New York Post spots Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and the athletics NFL insider Diana Rossini getting cozy together in Arizona today the New York Post posted photos of the Patriots head coach along with the athletics NFL insider getting cozy at a boutique resort together in Arizona now Vrabel and Rossini both told the New York Post that while it may look like something they actually were both their vacationing with their own set of friends that they had other friends who just weren't in the picture sure as you might expect Jared Stillman went in pretty strong with it a she has anything on the Patriots you know okay so he's given us that over the years well definitely look and I don't think it even took him to say it I think that there were it's clear that there was these are these are douan rooms is what it is and I think the most incriminating of these photos you can't explain away any of these I mean if you want to be in a hot tub you need to have other friends or another at least another dude in the picture with you same with the pool lying by the pool to me the one that I went oh boy is the holding hands one I think you could pull 100 women and 100 round pick uh they're trying to get as much as possible so uh you know let's make the there was a blackmail attempt perhaps yes perhaps something like i mean there there's all kinds of wacky stuff on these internet streets we want 31 overall or yeah everyone's gonna see the photos of you canoodling with russini there at the ambiente yeah that most of these tables said go palm sand and next thing you know here are the photos most of these real crazy ones i'm reading tongue in cheek i don't think people are serious but who knows it is the internet there's a lot of wack jobs on there well look there's one easy theory that i think anyone would throw out there and that is the spouse of one of the people involved maybe they're having some sort of difficulty they're in a separation or about potential divorce and someone's trying to prove infidelity so i look i don't know all the divorce laws i don't pretend to i'm just telling you you don't have to go public with that there's kids involved on russini's side there's two little kids yeah well there's a lot of clips the other thing that i mean that that is real there's clips that are now all over social media over the last day of her not speaking too highly of this shake shack husband of hers really yeah and she's saying it in a joking manner but if i heard my wife talk about me this way on national television i'd be like listen you get a dial this back and if we have a real issue here let's talk about it and so if there's been an issue there and that's been bubbling maybe he hired someone i always say never look past the spouse that's what you always say yeah when it comes to stuff like this that old famous mass saying sucks and blows and it's one of the father of mass check the husband i just think it's the easy place to go oh if this were the jets coaches would be so much fun wouldn't it guys if this were the bills coach or the dolphins coach you'd be having a grand yeah well unfortunately it's you again long commercial resignment comes i always say check the spouse thoughts calls emails oh yeah i i get my child he's on i do i'm not a good person go ahead felger and manz 98 five the sports hub when's the last time you got yelled at by a coach or player mike rabble uh it was actually the it was it was pretty it was a genuine yell um it was the year he was out and i was at the senior bowl and i'd had two back-to-back dinners with general managers so it was like a double booked but i had to make it work and i had the same conversation with both these gms and they were asking me why do i think that mike rabble didn't have a job like why isn't he a head coach right now and i said i don't know i was like i covered him a lot in tennessee i thought he was collaborative he's a leader players love him i don't know and they both offered up that they thought that he was too physically intimidating so the new york post sees this or excuse me i go on a podcast the new york post hears it and it went from an intimidating figure that is perhaps um scaring owners to like mike rabble's too fat to get so he calls me he's like why would you ever report that that's ridiculous that's not even true i'm like are you asking me if i think you're fat you know so uh so that was that was not fun uh because i just think you know he didn't for the record you weren't calling him no no diana russini on with dam patrick just a couple months ago at the super bowl so i'm sure a lot of people are doing that murray you're on those internet streets yeah are people piecing together like things she's reported on the patrots and drawn any lines or any conclusions yeah in that well yeah i mean while he was on the street and before he ended up taking that i think was a line back or offensive line coach or whatever the hell it was with the cleveland browns jobby cleveland yeah i mean the only one really reporting on mike rabble at that time and people are finding these tweets and now repurposing them was tying to russini so at the very least there is a and this is some of the jarred stillman we played that clip earlier has alluded to before that she's kind of been the mouthpiece for mike rabble in recent years and definitely was for a time down there in tennessee so you remember like i'm asking the question i don't i don't remember but when it was reported that rabble was meeting with the jets who reported that like because that would have benefited rabble yeah right the theory was that he wanted to come to new england and all of a sudden he was going to meet with the jets and see if i could find that one you know let let listen ever since stillman jared stillman down there in nashville told us over a year ago uh or more i can't remember when we first started talking to jared that he said you know if if russini reports it on the patriots pay attention trust me and that's all he would say but i was clear like i had a sense of what he was implying there uh and stillman's gone beyond implying in the last 24 hours he's kind of taken a victory lap but you know i think the implication was there so that i would pay attention to russini sort of reporting on the patriots and they're thinking and whatnot and i would think to myself oh well that's rabble and um so like i'm not totally surprised by this me neither right but uh that they have a good relationship at least and so uh yeah i don't know what the where i started with the question on that was but either way oh i think people just going to you know go back in and do a little little diagnostics on what's been reported from russini whether it was rabble with the titans or rabble here with the patriots and i'm telling you this is this is a bigger national media story and probably an important one i mean i say important in the context of covering the nfl because these national guys like it's shephard just went through a thing with mike florio did you read any of this or getting this with florio um what it what was it i did this is generally it if it's not exactly it it's close enough where shephard reported something from a prospect at the combine that put him in a good light like maybe he had a bad time doing this drill but he had a good time doing that drill and shephard just highlighted the drill that he did well versus the drill he struggled with something like that and this player was a rosin house client and florio wrote shephard is known to take care of rosin house and this is how the sausage gets gets made but just so you know as a consumer you don't always get the straight shot because shephard is taking care of drew rosin house something like that and shephard lost his mind and they had a thing and you know media beef and so i like this happens all the time and uh again or lofsky's another one there was a or lofsky was on with mac ify and mac ify called him out straight out because or lofsky was saying who's the kid from that tie simpson that tie simpson should be taken ahead of mendoza in the draft and he was the only one saying that well i think they dug up that or lofsky shares the same agent as simpson and it's like well are you doing that because of your agency are you doing that because that's really what the film shows so like there's always like these little brush fires that get called out right like yeah of course yeah what's your bias what's the story behind the story why are you giving me this information and not that information it gets called out all the time well i don't know how this doesn't fall into the same category oh it's been a lot of ways it might be worse i mean jesus well listen if adam him himmelbach is allowed to do to bill chism what he did the other day then the russini rabel stuff is the same just quick so i was able to find the first report the jets will interview former titans coach mike rabel for their head coaching job friday a source tells zack blatt oh where does zack blatt work the athletic sure it does so there's another way to it does another way to hide it i don't want to report it but here sure give it to someone else i've done i've done that at your place right exactly you have to you have to have one degree of separation so not everyone's calling you out on your sourcing yeah i've done that i can't write this but do it yeah and if you want to check it out on your own check it with this person sure yep so there's gonna be a lot of that uh getting done here look and this is unfair to women okay but there is always that perception of trading sex for a story okay and it's unfair because uh you know when a guy does it it's hey do me a solid on this and uh i'll get you into this show or whatever well let me tell you it doesn't come off as quite as sorted so you know and it ends up being you know it ends up being unfair in a lot of ways if not sex how about just florton like i think people are gonna go too far on russini in other words and i have joke about himmel'sbach i mean what what himmel'sbach did to build chism in that interview the other day was borderline servicing okay if you're if you're gonna prostitute yourself on that level so i'm gonna get i'm gonna come down and receive we're playing footsie with rabel and a hot tub to get the story i mean whatever it takes you know what i mean like i think it's it's and i don't go too far with that i'm gonna say like destroy marriages and take take people down but if the guys got a shine on you you know it's taking a shine to you and if just having a breakfast with them and getting a hot tub with them is gonna get you the story like i don't know is it really that much different than how uh other reporters prostitute themselves i mean to get someone to talk to well look at the end of the day probably not right probably not but people will see it differently i know they do it's unfair right people will see it differently so like in the case of the guy you just say well that's just you know someone taking a soft approach on the business side to get their own benefit out of the deal the other one becomes personal in nature and so and i'm not telling you it's fair because at the end of the day making a deal is making a deal but i mean where do you stop on that one with the way the media works doggy dog world oh i mean the type of bartering that goes on the guy likes me so i'll give him a little flirt yeah and i'll get the stories that really make her a bad person right whether it's whether it's entirely deliberate or not too or or and i say deliberate you know that understood in other words it's like do you come out and say hey i'll flirt with you if you give me this it's not like that it's just kind of you know you flirt or am i gonna go oh i'll go easy on you if you give me this story like i've never had that conversation but it inherently can happen that way because you know what you're getting they know what they're getting so you stop stepping right
