Summary

Episode covers Trump administration updates on Iran peace negotiations, Eric Swalwell's resignation amid sexual assault allegations from a new accuser, and Ruben Gallego's defensive response to rumors about his own conduct. Also discusses California gubernatorial race dynamics and JD Vance's campaign messaging on midterms and immigration policy.

Insights
  • Democratic Party leadership uses strategic timing of scandal revelations as a power consolidation tool—Swalwell's allegations emerged only after party leadership decided to remove him from the gubernatorial race
  • Political allies quickly distance themselves when scandals emerge, with Gallego's body language and evasive responses suggesting he may be concealing knowledge of Swalwell's behavior despite claiming close friendship
  • Immigration policy has become a litmus test for political viability, with even billionaire Democrat donors like Tom Steyer facing hypocrisy accusations while simultaneously profiting from detention infrastructure
  • Vice presidential messaging is shifting toward optimism and voter agency rather than doom-and-gloom narratives, positioning midterm success as dependent on grassroots engagement rather than structural inevitability
Trends

We've got, let's see, the president of the United States is weighing in on what's going on in Iran. And he's got a couple of very interesting updates for us. He's giving us a bit of what we might call a curtain razor. I want to expect in the next 48 hours. In fact, the president just spoke to the New York Post yesterday. There's a reporter they have in Islamabad in Pakistan. How do I know that? Because it says Dateline Islamabad at the top of the New York Post piece. A woman by the name of Caitlin Dornbos is still there in the region right now. And President Trump told the Post that U.S. and Iran talks could be happening over the next two days. So he had a phone call with her while she was there. And he's, and she said the following, additional U.S. Iran peace talks could be happening over the next two days, 48 hours. In Pakistan's capital, President Trump told the Post on Tuesday. So that's Wednesday or Thursday of this week. That would be 10 a.m. tomorrow. In an initial phone interview, Trump had claimed the discussions were happening, but, you know, a little bit slow. Before indicating that a second round of direct negotiations to end the seven-week war would likely happen somewhere in Europe. But then, but wait, there's more. About half an hour later, Trump calls her back with an update. Can you imagine? You're talking to the President of the United States and suddenly he calls you back half an hour. He's like, actually, update. You should stay there, he said. You should stay there, really, because something could be happening over the next two days. And we are more inclined to go there, he said of Islamabad. It's more likely. You know why? Because the Field Marshal is doing a great job. The Field Marshal he's referencing is the Pakistani Field Marshal, General Asim Munir, with whom the President has forged a connection over the last year, while the country was in the throes of its own war with India, which ended just four days thanks to a peace deal that President Trump helped a broker. Quote, he's fantastic, and therefore it's more likely we go back there, said the President. Why should we go to some country that has nothing to do with it? Yeah, especially a NATO country, which sat out the conflict and decided to let the United States handle on its own, which of course we can, but the President has been very annoyed by NATO. So it looks like Islamabad might be the scene of more in-person negotiation. We're kind of keeping our eyes on for that. But that's straight from the President of the United States. I'd say that's a pretty good source of information. Again, can you believe he just calls her back? Actually, I have an update for you. Well, courteous of him to do that. And then the President sat down with Maria Bartiromo of the Fox News Channel yesterday, and they had a big interview, and she asked, Mr. President, is the war about over? And he said, yeah, it's close to over. Here he is. Watch. I had to divert, because if I didn't do that, right now you would have a ran with a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, you would be calling everybody over there, sir, and you don't want to do that. Well, you keep saying was. Is this war over? I think it's close to over. Yeah, I mean, I view it as very close to over. You know what? If I pulled up stakes right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild that country. And we're not finished. We'll see what happens. I think they want to make a deal very badly. All right, so not over yet. Almost over. The President, once again, optimistic that he can settle this thing up. And something obviously transpired yesterday, something meaningful. In terms of getting Iran back to the table in Islamabad. So that could be a very good thing. Now, the President also had more optimism this morning. Yesterday on our program, we had Peter Schweitzer stop by. What a great interview. Wasn't he great chat? Peter Schweitzer was just fantastic. Always is. And we talked to him about China's role in all of this, how the Chinese Communist Party is going crazy over the fact that this is happening. Because President Trump has kicked out their power courts all across the planet. And they want access to this energy. They want to get it back. You know, when Iran sends 90% of its oil exports to China, and suddenly that's not happening anymore, the Strait of Hormuz is locked up. Now we've got an American blockade of Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz. China is now sweating this. What can they do? Well, the answer is they can pressure Iran. And doubtless they are right now. And the President of the United States just offered this update on Truth Social this morning. Which is almost as usual for a Trump Truth Social post that made me laugh. Here is President Trump this morning. He says, China is very happy that I am permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz. I am doing it for them. I'm doing it. Yeah, it's for China. I'm doing it for them. Also, in the world, this situation will never happen again. They have agreed not to send weapons to Iran, said the President. Remember the President threatened to impose massive tariffs on anybody who tried to give the Iranians weaponry. That would be China. China. And the President confirmed that recently in an interview. Yeah, I'm talking about China. No more weapons. So the President said we haven't agreed on from China. No more weapons. No more Timu weapons to Iran. Your weapons don't work anyway, so why don't waste your time. And President Xi, this is my favorite part of the Truth Social post. The President says, President Xi will give me a big fat hug when I get there in a few weeks. He'll get a big Winnie the Pooh hug from President Xi Jinping when he gets to China. Now, the President is going to arrive there in less than a month. He's going to be there, let's see, May 14th now. So just a day under a month, he'll be in Beijing. They're going to give him a big welcome. It's going to be a big glorious state visit in China to roll out the Communist red carpet for him. So that's going to be interesting. But he said, I'll get a big fat hug when I see him in a few weeks. In other words, the President is once again reiterating the same message. Yeah, the straight-up form moves, it'll be open. Why will it be open? Because we'll have settled up with Iran by then. It's going to be excellent. So my prayers are with him that he can knock all this out. You can tell, by the way, the urgency that the President has to get the hell out of Iran. This has been the theme that I keep detecting in every sentiment that the administration expresses, whether it's President Trump or JD Vance or Marco Rubio, all of them keep saying, all right, we're trying to get out of there. We think we can be out of there quickly. The President said four to six weeks, we got this thing started. They want to go, go, go, and go. Because we've got a lot of things to handle back in the United States. And the President wants to resolve this nuclear threat in Iran quickly. Well, God bless him for it. We're there. Let's, let's finish the job well. He says, we're working together smartly, referring to China, and very well. Doesn't that beat fighting? But remember, we are very good at fighting if we have to. Far better than anyone else. President DJ T. All right. Update from the President this morning on Iran. And I'm hopeful about it. I remain hopeful about it. And I think if anybody's equipped to handle this, it's President Trump and the team around him. Love that. All right, let's get to the Eric Swalwell saga, shall we? Eric Swalwell is now out of the United States Congress, submitting his resignation officially yesterday, read out loud inside of the United States Congress building. This came at a time when, like, media in the midst of this, yet another woman came out and accused Eric Swalwell of horrific crimes against her. And in fact, these, these sound like some of the most horrific crimes he's been accused of yet. Watch this, a nationally televised press conference yesterday, as this woman sits down on a microphone and accuses Eric Swalwell of some very evil things. Listen, Kadi. In 2018, while I was living and working as a model in Beverly Hills, and I also owned a fashion software company, I had contact with Eric Swalwell on three separate occasions after meeting him socially. He offered me connections to further my software company, and I also had an interest in local politics. He invited me to two public events. I knew he was married at the time and that his wife was pregnant. He was my friend. He was my friend. On the third occasion, I believe he drugged my drink. I only had one glass of wine. He, we were supposed to go to a political event, and he said he needed to get paperwork from his hotel room. When I arrived at his hotel room, I was already incapacitated, and I couldn't move my arms or my body. He raped me, and he choked me, and while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died. I did not consent to any sexual activity, although I did not undergo a rape kit. At the time, I disclosed the assault to the people closest to me. I also recorded these events in my handwritten calendar. I also recorded the assault and its impact were later documented during my therapy sessions at a sexual assault center. These allegations are now being criminally investigated by the LA Sheriff, and she is working with them. In the event that she's lying about these allegations, and I have no reason to believe that she is, I'm just saying in the event that she is, she could now be subject to criminal prosecution herself for filing a false police report, if that's what this is. Now, the pattern of events here is that Eric Swalwell has been accused by a lot of women of this kind of awful behavior. That's the first time I think we've heard a drug allegation that's on kind of the echoes of the Bill Cosby saga, but we've heard from multiple women that the sequence of events is that they would meet with him at like a hotel bar, that they'd have drinks, no indication of how many, and then they wouldn't remember the rest of the night as they were in his hotel room, and then they would wake up in that room. And that it's just awful, just awful allegations. Now, Eric Swalwell denies every one of them. He's not denying that he had affairs. He seems to be acknowledging that he cheated on his wife a bunch of times, but he's denying that he was guilty of any sort of sexual assault. And in a court of law, he's innocent until proven guilty, but there's no question in the court of public opinion, the guy's a ski, man. The guy is like a total creep. And everybody knew about the Fang Fang saga, he's a sucker for this. And so, we'll keep our eyes on this, but another woman comes out and accuses him and it's amazing. One thing in terms of her credibility, in terms of her ability to be believed, it is, I think, important to note the timing. He's already out of the governor's race and already had announced that he was leaving Congress as of yesterday when she made these allegations. So, this is not for any sort of political purpose that I can tell to try and come in and stop him from holding these offices. That was already accomplished. The Democrats already accomplished that. They took their blackmail file on Eric Swalwell. They opened it up the exact moment they needed to destroy him because he was in the way of Democrat power politics and then they destroyed him. So, mission accomplished. That's what the left did here. They knew about all these allegations and then they crushed him the second they needed to. That's how they wielded it. And Nancy Pelosi, who has been Eric Swalwell's great defender, she defended him through the Fang Fang stuff. She kept him on important intel committees, just everything. She comes out. She acts like she knew nothing about this. She even is pretending like she didn't have any hand in giving him the heave-ho from Congress. When, in fact, Nancy Pelosi is the one who placed the phone call to Eric Swalwell and told him this week to get the hell out. Your time is over. She ordered him to leave Congress. That's the reporting from CNN. Take a look here. Here's a side-by-side, Nancy Pelosi telling an interviewer that, oh, he made the right decision and then subsequently CNN saying, actually, Pelosi forced him out. Watch this. Did you tell him to resign? Oh, I think that was his decision. I think it's a smart decision. The right thing to do? Yes, the right thing. In the case of Eric Swalwell, the former speaker and fellow California Nancy Pelosi, I am told, picked up the phone and called Swalwell on Friday night and said, you got to drop out of the governor's race because, remember, he was a leading candidate and also made clear that he should resign from Congress. Yes, so Pelosi, in case you're wondering, it's not the dial-up Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries, that's calling the shots in the house. It's Nancy Pelosi. She's still doing it. She's still, I mean, I'm not in charge of anything. I'm just a regular kind of woman. No, she's calling the shots inside the house. And that sequence where she throws Eric Swalwell out, doesn't that sound a lot like what she was saying about Joe Biden, when she threw Joe Biden out of the presidency, when she was like, yeah, you're done. You're not the nominee anymore. And then they screwed over the Democrat primary voters by imposing Kamala Harris on them. That was Nancy Pelosi who pulled that. And then she kept saying, it's his decision. It's up to him. And meanwhile, she was giving him the hook. She threw him out. So in case you're wondering what's going on, Nancy Pelosi is one of the most obvious sinister controlling forces on the left. And she opens up Eric Swalwell's black mouth file, destroys him, and then tells him to get the hell out of Congress. And he obediently complies. Amazing. What else do they have on Eric Swalwell, actually, makes me wonder. Now, speaking of Swalwell, you know that in the last week or so, he was crashing at a billionaire's house in California, you know, hunkered down, trying to ride out the scandals. And the name of that billionaire is Steven Klubeck. And Steven Klubeck just did an interview with local media in California, where he said he is so disgusted by what he just learned about Eric Swalwell, that he has now renounced membership in the Democrat Party entirely. Listen to this. Cut 10. Watch. What's up? A one-on-one interview with Steven Klubeck. At one point, he was running for governor of California, but he dropped out to endorse Eric Swalwell a decision he clearly regrets. You suspect this at all? No. I was blown away. A political explosion. Like blown away. Billionaire Steven Klubeck wants a major donor and supporter of Eric Swalwell, now publicly turning on him with rage. Bad. Amid sexual assault allegations. I am no longer a Democrat. I'm now a libertarian Republican, because that's what a blue dog Democrat used to be. Anybody else? So just for those of you watching rumble.com slash Vince right now, the visual on that guy. Didn't that dude look like Ned Beatty, the actor Ned Beatty? Remember the father in the movie Rudy? You remember him? Didn't that guy look like... Josh, can you pan to the dude? I don't know if that's even possible. Can you pull that clip up and just pan to a still frame of this dude? There's... I've got... I've got Ned Beatty. Here's Ned Beatty. I'm looking at him. I'm like, he looks like Ned Beatty, doesn't he? Yeah. I'm sorry. That's... That's... People say Otis. Yeah, that's a different... That's probably a better reference. I'm thinking of Rudy when I see this guy. I'm like, what is going... That looks like him. A decision he clearly regrets. Did you suspect this at all? No! I was blown away. A political explosion. Blown away. Amazing. Just amazing. I love... I love that you're so corrupt that you could force a billionaire to renounce his own party. Now, I... You know, who knows? Maybe this... I don't know anything about this clubec character. Maybe he's just, you know, it's a CYA operation. He's like, oh, I... I had no idea. Maybe he's pulling a guy ego. You know? He's... I just had no idea. I was like, I live in my house, but I know had no idea who he was as a person. What? I don't know if that may have said tremendous in that sense, but you... You do give hilarious interviews, so we figured we'd feature that clip. All right. More in a moment. I'll talk about guy ego and the extent to which he's sweating through all of his suits now. He's freaking out. You get to... He gave a panicky hallway press conference yesterday about his best friend in the whole wide world, Eric Swalwell. I've got that so much more all ahead on this edition of Vince. Let's see here. You know, when the dollars convertibility into gold ended back in 1971, gold was fixed at $35 an ounce. $35. Fast forward to today, and it's reported the United States dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power. Gold, on the other hand, it's increased in value by over 12,000%. That's why many central banks are buying gold at record levels. And that's why major firms hold significant positions in gold. And this all starts with education. My friends at Birch Gold Group have just announced their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event. This free online event rewards you for learning the basics of investing in precious metals. Sign up to get free silver on your next purchase if you qualify. And you can get even larger incentives as you go. The more you learn, the more you can earn. But you've got to act now. As this special event only runs through April 30th, the dollar lost its anchor in 1971. You don't have to lose yours. Text my name, Vince, to the number 98998 to join Birch Gold's great, great Learn and Earn program. That Learn and Earn Precious Metals event, you can join it by April 30th. Text Vince to 98998 today. Message and data rates, they apply. Thank you to Birch Gold. All right, let's see here. I got it. All right. Gallego, gallego, pantalones and fuego. I love that. By the way, I posted that to X last night. And Grock instantly auto-translated it to Gallego, Gallego, Pants on Fire. And I told Grock, I said, Grock, get over here. Grock, stop translating it. You're wrecking the rhyme. You're wrecking it. And then Grock admitted that it was wrecking the rhyme, but it doesn't fix anything when I say that. But anyway, the point is this guy, Ruben Gallego, he's in hot water. I mean, remember Gallego and Eric Swalwell are thick as thieves. These guys have spent a lot of time together. I went over some of the details with you yesterday on the program, showing you the shirtless pictures of them hanging out and cut. Or don't worry, I'm not going to show you that again, where they're riding camels together. And, you know, this is stuff like Gallego said about Swalwell. He goes, I know his heart. I know his heart. Swalwell said, he's my best friend on the whole planet. And now Gallego is stabbing his best friend directly in the back over and over and over again in an effort to save his own career. And here's Ruben Gallego yesterday with the grounds. Well, I told you this is going to happen, that suddenly Gallego was going to be in the hot seat. And my guess is that Eric Swalwell is doing what he can to generate this heat right now, because he's probably pissed off that his buddy just timed him out. Here's Gallego holding a Panicky Hallway press conference yesterday cut to watch. I call this the A because there's just a lot of rumors going around about me, about my family. And, you know, unfortunately, this is not the first time I could deal with the same BS in 2024 and 2023 when they ran millions and millions of dollars of smears against me. Light of body language. Watch his body language. Light of body language. Light of my family. And sustained damn people again. Kerry Lake, Chris Lasavita, a bunch of political operatives. They couldn't do in 2024. Trying to do again in 2026. So I want to make a couple of things very clear. Number one, Eric Swalwell lied to all of us. He lied to the most powerful people in this country. And they trusted him. They trusted him with some of those sensitive spots in our government, whether it was under district committee, intel committee, impeaching Donald Trump. And that clouded my judgment, my friendship with him. Our family's friendship together. It had clouded my judgment. And I was wrong. I deeply, deeply regret that. The women that came forward are courageous and they still deserve justice. But to be clear again, I also had no knowledge of predatory behavior, sexual assault, or harassment. And unfortunately, right now, the same people that are attacking in 2024 are using this horrible situation, this horrible situation that's been thrown upon these women, thrown upon Eric Swalwell's family and using this as an excuse to attack me, lie about me, and lie about my family. And I will not take that lightly. Did you notice that every time he made a declaration about his lack of knowledge, he would flinch and look off to the side? Now, I'm no body language expert. Is that even a real art? But I'm just reading the body language. The guy, he almost like cringes, like he flinches and looks off to the side, like I knew nothing about this. I knew nothing about this. I didn't know. He was leading a double life. Like he's lying. You can tell. You can just, it's just coming off of his body. Every time he tells one of these lies, he can barely express it without his body betraying him. Which is interesting because he's a Democrat. You'd think he'd be accustomed to lying by now without having a problem like that. But there he is. Lying to you. I just had no idea. The guy led a double life. He's not. Okay. Nobody believes that Eric Swalwell was a criminal mastermind. Again, he was taking pictures of his junk and snapchatting them to the interns. The guy is not some brilliant criminal. This is crazy. And so Guy Ago is freaking out that people are onto him. And Guy Ago says, Swalwell lied to me. He lied to me. These are the guys who, you know, they're hanging out together. The kids are in the, in playing baseball together. That they know each other's hearts. They're riding shirtless on camels. Here's Guy Ago cut three. Watch. I've called you his best friend. You have never asked him about any of the rumors that have been swirling around Democratic politics of his inappropriate behavior? I did. Look, we knew each other differently for what else. My family and his family were as close as it gets. Our kids were in baseball camp together. We had dinner together as a family. It was entirely different, I think, what people understand. But when there was rumors going around a couple of weeks ago, not of the folks in whatever in the San Francisco Chronicle, I did ask him and he lied to me. He knew that I just came off a very, very hard campaign for two years where he lied about me and my family for two years. He manipulated me to have the same sentiment that I was having back in the day and use as an opportunity to move me to defend him. How did you not know about the allegations of considering you chaired his presidential campaign? Wouldn't some of this have come up? Some of those allegations predated when he ran for office? Again, this man led a double life. He lied to see lie to his family, lie to his constituents. It's the most powerful people in this country. Even before he ran, he was trusted with some positions that normally would never think someone like this could do if they're leading that double life. Again, I was manipulated. I was lied to. Everyone else was too. Would you release any text messages you had with Eric Swalval to prove your innocence here? Anybody that asks or any legal proceedings that need it will get whatever they want without a doubt. You'll release all your evidence? Yeah, any legal proceedings. The ethics and reviews or if there's a penis or anything outside legal proceedings, anything else, if you get sued, we'll release everything without. You understand? Okay, that last part is very revealing. So notice the weasley way he describes his text message exchanges with Eric Swalval. The question was, are you going to release these texts? I mean, your best friend, you're going to release your text message exchanges with the guy? Tell us what you were actually saying to him. And he goes, if it's a legal proceeding, yes, which means they would need a court ordered subpoena. That's what he's saying that only under like penalty of law would I ever release these text messages. So in another, that's another way of saying, hell no, I'm going to do everything I can to not release these text messages unless I'm forced to under penalty of a crime. That's not a yes. It's no, it's no, he doesn't want you to know about the text messages. He doesn't want to release them. That's Ruben Gallego. He lied to me. He lied to me. He led a double life. And then as to this question of was it Ruben Gallego in the hooker video? You know the hooker video? You know the one where Eric Swalval is being a horn dog and he's like grope in her, pulling her towards him on the bed. And there's somebody who looks suspiciously like Ruben Gallego sitting right next to her as well, kind of leaning into the action. Everyone's analyzing the back of the guy's ear and the, and the scraggly beard and the fatness and going, I think that's Gallego. Gallego insists. Well, I'll tell you in a moment, we'll talk about it. Coming up on this edition of this, I want to thank one of our great sponsors today. That is Rumble Wallet. Man, I love Rumble Wallet. All right, so this guy, Guy Ago, and in the video with the hooker. Let me see. Josh, do you have that video by any chance? There's a... I'm going to pull it up, see if we can't. I hear there's an image. Here's an image of it. This will work. This is the picture. This is Swalwell for those of you on rumble.com slash VINCE. Pulling the hooker towards them. And alleged hooker. I don't know, but it's alleged to have been a prostitute. My apologies if she's not, but she's in this weird position with Swalwell. And there's a fella in the foreground sitting on the bed wearing black Nikes. Everybody's been assessing the Nikes. And this is the picture. And the back of his head and just his body, his build looks like Guy Ago. So everybody keeps assuming that that's Guy Ago. They're best friends. Like in other words, like kind of the details all out of. So what are the chances that it is Guy Ago? Well, one of the reporters, thankfully, asked him yesterday, was that you in the hooker video? And he goes, no, it's not me. It's not me. Cut for watch. Is that you sitting next to him? This is an example of the lies. No, I was not sitting next to him. I was not in the room. I was nowhere. I don't even know where it happened. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Chris LaSavita and a bunch of other right wing political operatives are pushing this narrative that somehow was in that room with Eric Swalwell. And that is an absolute lie. Now, none of this came from right wingers, by the way. This was not some Trump operation. Chris LaSavita or anything like that. This all came from the left. Like the Swalwell's downfall was orchestrated by forces in the Democrat party. Not the right. Not the, you think if we knew about this, that we'd wait for now to tell everybody? Of course not. Everybody, the right would have been talking about this the second they knew about it. No, all of this is because of Nancy Pelosi and company. This is because the Democrats decided it's time for Swalwell to go. The gubernatorial race in California is too imperil. We need to destroy him. And so they did. Oh my goodness, man. They are absolutely bloodthirsty cutthroat. And so Gallego is like trying to pass this off to Trump. It's also ridiculous, which is another way of saying that kind of sounds like he's lying again. Candidly. Kind of sounds like he's lying again. And then what about this, what about this idea that like you knew nothing about, you keep saying that Swalwell had a double life. You never heard a single thing? You don't even know about Fang Fang. You don't know about that. Cut five. Watch as he describes the limited stuff that he claims he heard about Swalwell. He heard he was flirty. It was flirty. That was flirty. And that was when? About what year? I mean, that was through it. We've heard that. We've heard that throughout. Senator, you just said thank you so much. I want to clarify because in the beginning you said when you first heard these rumors a few weeks ago, that's when you called them. Then you said you've heard these rumors for years. So which one is it, Senator? So I heard rumors of him being flirty. And that wasn't an issue enough for you to not trust me. Watch your tears and be close with him? Because you hear this and then when you're close to somebody and you know his wife, you see this, you see that relationship, you know that it maybe just isn't true. Has it lasted about it prior to the few weeks? I asked him about it a few weeks ago when it started coming up online. Why would you ask him about it if you're running his campaign? He's so full of shit. I hear rumors that he might have been flirty once, but I just never saw it. He was never flirty with me. He's such a liar, man. He's such a lot. What kind of best friend is this? You know, if you had a best friend who was very flirty, you would know it. I heard rumors trying to establish it. Can it be any more obvious that this guy is lying? Tonight you're going to meet my best friend in the world, Rue van Gaagen. This is best friend in the whole world. It's amazing. And then finally, Gallego has asked one of the key questions here. Have you engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct of any kind? Because there are, the rumor mill is buzzing about Gallego's behavior right now. Take a look. Cut sex. Watch this. No, thank you. You mentioned lies and rumors when you first came out to talk to us. Have you ever engaged in any inappropriate sexual misconduct or behavior toward your staff, other staff, other women outside of your marriage? No. No. No. A terse no from Rue van Gallego. Now, in the last 24 hours, a couple of things have popped up. One, I saw a congressional staff or Republican congressional staffer alleged that at one point, Gallego pulled his earpiece out of, he was in a television interview, and he pulled his earpiece out of his ear. It had earwax on it. Kind of gross. You should clean your ears. And he took the earpiece and he rubbed it on this Republican woman's sweater, like directly on her sweater. What a freak. What the hell is that about? Somebody should have punched him in the face for that. And then we get this video. This was shared by the great Maze Moore. Check out this moment where Gallego is eating a pepper and then attempts to shove it into a woman's mouth. And she clearly is not amused at all by this. Watch this. Slow mo. He tries to shove the half-eaten pepper into her mouth. She pulls back. Like, what a freak this dude is. He's a type, isn't he, Chet? You can tell. You can tell. This guy, this guy, what do the women say? That dude gives me the ick? The ick? Does that dude give you the ick, ladies? Is that a thing? Yeah, there's something. Women. Actually, yeah. Ladies in Chet, please, if you would, assess Ruben Gallego for me. The ladies in the chat, I can mostly tell. Here's what. 5150 lady. He took a bite first. How grossed. So people say he's a dirtbag. Creepy. He's weird. ick, yes, as Cheerio. Yeah, yeah, he's a type. He's a Democrat. 10 out of 10, wood pepper spray. Thank you. All right, good. I'm just making sure I'm on the right wavelength here, Chet. Appreciate you and your help for that. Thank you. Thank you to all the great women in the chat who could assess this for me. Appreciate you here. All right, so we'll keep your eyes on the Gallego saga. I think things are about to continue to get more interesting. So one more on California for you. Without Eric Swalwell in the race, you've got, as I mentioned to you yesterday, Tom Steyer, the billionaire, big Democrat donor, and crazy Katie Porter, the psychopath. And I, you know, we emphasize how psychotic Katie Porter is, but it's probably worth remembering that Tom Steyer is also a psycho in his own way. Bill Mollusion just, and maybe in an even more dangerous way than Katie Porter. I can't even believe I'm saying that, but listen to this. This is from Bill Mollusion yesterday at Fox. He summarized a Tom Steyer immigration agenda that he just released. And here's, here are the key elements of Tom Steyer's immigration agenda. Ready? Abolish ICE, so get rid of immigration enforcement. Good idea, Tom. So get rid of any ability to get foreign nationals out of our country. Put ICE agents in jail and treat them like the mob. Again, Tom Steyer is one of the single biggest donors on the left. He's right up there with Michael Bloomberg and George Soros and Reed Hoffman. Let's see. Bring those kidnapped and detained by ICE back home. That is, in other words, bring illegal aliens back to America. Give the California Attorney General power to imprisoned ICE agents and their leadership. Okay, everything he's describing, this is an insurrection. This is revolution that Tom Steyer is advocating for in his race for governor. Yeah, let's arrest federal law enforcement. Taxpayer funded legal representation and support for not American citizens, but illegal aliens. And ignore the Supreme Court's ruling that allows ICE to utilize race, language, job, and location to contribute to reasonable suspicion for immigration arrests. And instead, quote, California should take matters into our own hands and extend legal protections to its residents. So illegals should be protected from the consequences of their violations of the law. That would be helping illegal aliens thwart law enforcement. Aiding and abetting crimes. This is about our right as a state to protect our residents, says Tom Steyer. Yeah, insurrection, Tom, exactly. So that's Tom Steyer. So in case you're wondering, like, any reasonable Democrats after Eric Swalwell's story? No, there are no reasonable Democrats in this race. At all. At all. And Tom Steyer is a dangerous psychopath. And he's also a massive hypocrite. The New York Post has this amazing piece up that I was literally laughing out loud reading this yesterday, that Tom Steyer, did you know that he's actually, he's dumped $90 million? He invested $90 million in California's largest immigration detention center. Did you know that? So while he's calling for complete lawlessness, he's also investing in the largest immigration detention center in the state, which is one of the funniest possible terms of events in this story. It was a mistake, he said. Progressive billionaire Tom Steyer has been telling California voters he wants to abolish ICE, despite investing nearly $90 million in a company behind the state's largest immigration detention center. The California gubernatorial candidate has tried to swat off the criticism. And in a recent interview with the Sacramento Bee, he said it was, quote, a mistake. We never had anything to do with running the company, he said. But it was a mistake to think that that was a place where it was decent to make money. So this guy has no values at all. There's no principle to this. I mean, he's perfectly okay aiding and abetting lawlessness for pure Democrat party power. And on the other hand, insofar as immigration enforcement is taking place, he's hoping to derive a profit from it. The guy is just absolutely, absolutely out of control, totally depraved, which makes him a perfect Democrat. And he's now one of the leading contenders to become the next governor of California to replace greasy Gavin Newsom in the job, who doesn't care at all about the well-being of Californians, perfectly happy to dine at the French laundry while they're all on lockdown, and perfectly happy to screw them over when their houses burn down and never get them rebuilt. That's the way these Democrats operate in California, burning that city in some cases literally down that state. There's Tom Steyer. And then finally, here's video of Tom Steyer being completely lame for those of you watching rumble.com slash Vince. Here it is, Cuddle 11. Tom Steyer is super cringe, as the kids might say. God, no wonder they have to rig elections in California. No wonder. What voters saying, yeah, I want that. They don't, please. It's crazy. All right, let's get to something great. Speaking of elections, JD Vance headed off to the University of Georgia yesterday for a turning point USA event. There's a lot of elements to this. I'll see what I can get to here on the program with you. But let me start with the midterms, because JD Vance, as the Vice President of the United States, the president has entrusted him with a big role in the midterms this year. And basically getting on the campaign trail, directing money, figuring out the messaging and how to win these midterms. JD Vance is right there shoulder to shoulder with President Trump. So during the Q&A session, one of the students at the University of Georgia did ask the Vice President about how the midterms are going to go, and that there's this kind of doomsday view by some on the right, that the midterms are a foregone conclusion. It's over. We're going to lose. It's a disaster. And JD Vance said, well, he didn't say stop bitching, but he said, you know, keep your head up. Stay in the fight. Don't give into the cynicism. Don't give into the pessimism. That's what people who want the right to lose the midterms are advancing. I'll just give you the summary here. Here's what he actually said, according to Mary Margaret O'Lan, the great Mary Margaret. He said, the idea that the midterms are gone is preposterous. Quote, it's cynical, pessimistic garbage, cynical, pessimistic garbage that is being pushed by people who want us to completely give up. Don't give up. Don't give up. He says the Republican party needs to get out the marginal Trump voter. He's urging, knocking on doors and making sure people get out the vote. The quote that I have from JD Vance is, the people telling you to give up on the midterms are the people who want us to lose the midterms. Don't listen to them. That's right. Be the happy warrior. Stay in the fight. Appreciate the successes and fight, fight, fight for your country. Love that message. That's the right attitude from JD Vance. Now, in the SAVE Act, you just heard him talking about the SAVE America Act. He is like us. He recognizes the frustration with the United States Senate, but he points out something really important here because it wasn't that long ago that almost no Republican in the Senate would be working to advance this. And suddenly our numbers are growing. Take a look at this. Kind of a glass, definitely half full approach from the Vice President of the United States who's very much on our team here. Watch. There's no point. No, no, no, no. Because, or let me give you another example. The SAVE Act. Okay. A lot of people want the SAVE Act. I want the SAVE Act. I've been fighting for the SAVE Act literally since day one of the administration. And I've seen a lot of people saying, what the hell's the point of voting for these guys if, you know, you've got three Republicans joining with the Democrats to prevent the SAVE Act from passing. I guess four Republicans. And here's my response to that. Yes, it is annoying to me that there are only 45 or 46 Republicans who will fight politically to get the SAVE Act passed. But you know what? 10 years ago, that number was 35. So the answer to frustration is engagement. Don't give up on this process, get more involved in this process, and demand more from people like me. That's how we take our country back. I just think it's important to say that. Yeah, you have agency. You have agency. Voters have agency. So use it. Use it to make your country better. We demand so much better of the people in power. And we should demand the maximum contribution from ourselves at all times. This is why I've been talking so much about what's happening in Virginia. There's this huge election rigging operation going on in Virginia right now by the left. And we have until April 21st, that's less than a week now, until that vote concludes. There is some optimism that we're going to win here, potentially. We have to vote no on this ballot referendum. Please, if you're in Virginia, get out and vote here. JD Vance did urge all Virginians yesterday he did from the stage. He said, you've got to get out. Vote against the election rigging referendum in Virginia. Vote no, he said. Vote no. And the vice president very attuned to that fight as well. The White House is very attuned to that fight as well. So good to hear him say that. Then JD Vance also talked about the state of immigration policy in America. And he was reflecting on a conversation that he had with the Ukrainian American during the 2024 election. He's out on the campaign trail. He's encountering a Ukrainian American who said, something to the effect of, you need to fight for my country. And listen to JD Vance's wonderful response. Cut there, team. Watch. Had somebody who came up to me, and I'm sure a great person, like a wonderful person, it was a Ukrainian American in Cleveland, Ohio. Yeah, I was campaigning for the Senate. There are a lot of Ukrainian Americans in Cleveland, Ohio. And this person got really agitated at me because I was saying we should stop funding the Ukraine war. Okay. And I still believe that, obviously. And it's one of the things I'm proudest that we've done as an administration is we told Europe that if you want to buy weapons, you can, but the United States is not buying weapons and sending them to Ukraine anymore. We're just out of that business. So very good thing. But these Ukrainian American, again, a kind person, they probably didn't vote for me after this conversation, but he was kind of sticking his finger in my face saying, you need to support my country. You need to support my country. And I said, sir, with all due respect, if you're an American, your country is the United States of America, not a place that you immigrated from, whatever that was. And it occurred to me, and I know this is the last question I'll try to be quick here, but it occurred to me that my father-in-law, who came from India, who moved to the United States, who got an education and became an American citizen that never once, never once in my life has he ever said, you have to do this or you should do this because it's in the best interest of the country that I came from. And I think that attitude, to the extent that attitude dominates among the new generation of Americans, that makes Americans feel welcoming towards people because everybody, again, whether your family's been here for 300 years or one second, to be an American means to look out for Americans first. And that's the perspective we have to take to our immigration policy. Thank you. Thank you. Disagree? Anybody disagree with that? It's amazing. It's yes, perfectly said, Melissa McGraw-Royan says, perfectly said, JD. He's totally right about that. You have every right to like the country of your birth. You have every right to like the country you derive your heritage from. You can do that. But this idea that you would work to the benefit of a foreign country at the expense of the country in which you call yourself an American citizen, that's crazy. That's totally crazy. And that can't be abided, not if we're going to hold this country together, not if we're going to fight for the sanctity of this country, the sovereignty of this country. JD Vance totally right about that, getting a well-earned round of applause from the students at the University of Georgia yesterday. Now, there was a moment, I like seeing guys like JD Vance get tested in this way. I'm not encouraging people to heckle him, but some dude started yelling out, accusing President Trump and Vice President in advance of committing genocide in Gaza. Genocide. You're committing a genocide. You're committing a genocide. And I love how JD Vance handles this guy because he references him as quote, random dude. He goes, first of all, random dude. Listen to this, cut 14, watch. I think that's a pretty easy principle. Okay, so here's a guy, let me just say this. This is a guy. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. First of all, random dude who's shouting, can I finish my point and then I'll respond to what you just shouted? Is that okay? Okay. Yeah, can we give him one second to answer this? So let me just finish this question on the Pope, and then I want to respond to what this guy said. So to respond to this guy here, he said, I believe he said, the administration supports a genocide in Gaza. And here's my response to that. When we came in, the humanitarian situation in Gaza was an absolute catastrophe. You know, who's the person who got a peace agreement in Gaza? Donald J. Trump. So if you want to complain about what happened in Gaza, so if you want, sir, to complain about what happened in Gaza, why don't you complain about Joe Biden and the last administration? We're the administration that solved that problem. Hello. First of all, random dude. That's going in the rotation. First of all, random dude. Good for JD Vance. And he's right. If you don't want Gaza to live in a state of constant misery and suffering, you should be an enthusiastic supporter of the Trump administration for finally getting humanitarian aid into the region and promising a brighter future for Gaza instead of this endless wave of misery in what was once a very beautiful coastal area that's been turned into just a disgraceful place. The president is trying to fix that. And JD Vance was right to say that. But first of all, random dude is super funny. I love that. That's really great. One of the kind of annoying, knowing is not the right word. Depressing. One of the awful things about that event yesterday was, first of all, Erica Kirk, Charlie Kirk's widow was supposed to be there. But the reason Andrew Culvert, who you could see sitting alongside JD Vance on the stage, took her place was because apparently there were pretty immense threats to Erica Kirk. And they announced at the beginning of the event that she decided of her own accord and under the urging of her security that she shouldn't be there. And that's unfortunate. Watch this. I'll explore it in a moment because I see some people being like, well, the secret service is there. What is she fearful of? I'll talk about that in a second. Cut 16. Here's the explanation from the stage. So for those of you wondering why I don't have really flowing long blonde hair right now. So I'm going to address it right at the front. Mr. Vice President, I'm on stage here instead of our friend Erica Kirk. That's right. Because unfortunately, she has received some very serious threats in her direction, which is terrible. It's a terrible reflection on the state of reality and the state of the country. But it underscores a larger point that she has received a lot of attacks from surprising places, perhaps. Tell us what you think about that. Some of the people that have made part-time jobs out of attacking Erica, and this is the net result. Sure. Well, first of all, I love Erica, and I know that she did get some threats. And about two hours ago, I was a little worried that we were going to have to cancel the event because Erica was not going to come and she was very worried about it. And I talked to the Secret Service, and obviously these guys do a very good job. And I said, you know what? Let's let Erica do what she needs to do for herself and her family. I'm sure Andrew will fill in. And let's go and make this an amazing event with the Georgeable Dogs in Athens, Georgia. So absolutely, we're going to do this thing. Now, there's been a reaction on, I don't know what this, like, what is this? But anyway, there's a reaction online suggesting that, well, the Secret Service was there because the Vice President was there. So what does she have to fear? Why is she concerned? Were you think her security is better than the Secret Service? This is idiocy. This is complete idiocy. That assessment is idiocy. Erica Kirk's husband was murdered in cold blood last year at Utah Valley University. You think she might be at a heightened state of anxiety about threats to her? Any threat that might result in her dying and her children not having a father or mother? You think she might be kind of attentive to those, might be a little bit anxious about those concerns? You would think so. You would assume so. God willing, none of us are never in her position, but I can't even imagine what goes through her head as she gets all this incoming. And then the idea that the Secret Service is going to be ever-president to guard her, she has to go to the event. She has to leave the event. The Secret Service is not dedicated to her. It's dedicated to the Vice President of the United States. He's the Protectee. She's not. Yeah, she would be inside of that protective realm for the time that she's on stage with him, but it doesn't account for the rest of the time that she's transiting back and forth. It's just this idea that you would litigate that and be like, well, the Secret Service is there. Well, suddenly now we're like, also, also suddenly now we believe in the perfection of the Secret Service, given all of the endless failures that the Secret Service has been responsible for that have led to the President of the United States even being shot in the head, and they couldn't go on a sloped roof, are almost shot in Florida. It's just, it's all, it's all so crazy. And why are people even looking for excuses to attack Erica Kirk here? In fact, JD Vance spent some time talking about this and, and said that this is pretty sick, actually. Here's Cut 17. Here's JD Vance unleashing on people who go after Erica. Watch. People who shot Charlie Kirk, but if your instinct is to go after a young mother because she's grieving in a way that you find, in a, you find wrong, well, why don't you stay in your lane and mind your own business? Yeah, amen. Grief is complicated. Yeah, amen. Yeah, stay in your lane and mind your own damn business. And then this thing is like, oh, and what Eric is acting, her husband was killed. You freaking whack job. Here's your Cut 18. JD Vance going after the crazy people who claim that Erica is just some big actress or something. Watch. Think about that moment and where she was so broken. And any of you know who anybody, anybody who's grieved before is, you kind of go from just crestfallen and sad. And then you want to remember the person that you just lost. And there's just this constant flood of emotions, right? At one moment, you're laughing about something they said two years ago. And another moment, you're sobbing because they're not there anymore. And I thought about that moment a lot because Erica told me, and that was the first time she'd ever, you know, first time she'd ever told me this. And I guess I've, I thought about it a lot in the context of our own, of our own, you know, my wife's pregnancy. She said, I really wish that we had had more babies together. And that kind of hit me like it's just it. He's gone. That was sort of one of the moments where I realized Charlie's not coming back here. And you have this, this mom who's really sad about the fact that her two little kids may never have memories. I mean, you think about like as a father, I know most of you out there are too young to have, have kids, but one of the things that you think about as a father is, I want my kids to remember this moment, right? I want my kid, I want my six year old to remember when I took him to the zoo, or my six year old son was just baptized on Easter Sunday. And I wanted to remember that moment with me. And that's, thank you. But so Erica's struggling with this. And of course, that's terrible, unspeakable. Most of us cannot even put ourselves in her shoes. Well, at the same time, you know, she's trying to make sure that Charlie's legacy doesn't die. And in that context, everybody is attacking her over everything and they're lying about her. And it's one of the most disgraceful things that I've ever seen in public life. And I've seen a lot of crazy stuff in my life as a, as a political leader. And I will tell you that the people who tell you, I was there with her, I was holding her hand, my wife was hugging her while we loaded Charlie's body on the Air Force two and said the Lord's prayer, the people telling you that Erica wasn't grieving her husband are full of shit. And we need to be honest about that fact. JD Vance is a good man. He's a good man. He was right to say that. And he's saying on behalf of Charlie, his friend, Charlie, what is Charlie thinking about all this? What is Charlie thinking about this crazy? God bless Erica Kirk. She's been, she's been a model, an absolute model of what it means to be a Christian widow, a woman who's honoring her husband, trying to carry on his legacy, fighting for their family, raising those children. And it's really, it's too bad she couldn't be there on that stage yesterday. It's just too awful that people are, there's this assassination culture that's out there that predominates on the left. Just people want to hurt Erica for what? For being a grieving widow? It's pretty sick stuff. It's pretty sick stuff. I am so grateful to you for being here with me as always. You really are the best audience anywhere. And we're going to be back again tomorrow. We have another mighty show for you, I promise. We've got the big national radio show today. TheVinShow.com, that's where you can find your current local radio listings. You can also join us on Rumble from 1 to 3 Eastern time. That's Rumble.com slash Vince. While you're with us today, make sure to subscribe to everything. Just subscribe to the podcast, subscribe to the Rumble feed. That helps a lot. I should start establishing goals.
