I'm gonna tell you right now, neither of us want to be here to do this episode. But here we are. I Kali, if I had a mantra, my energy, this episode, it's always been fuck west. It hasn't always been fuck west. Let me repeat that. It's been fuck west for a while for me. But now it's fuck Amanda. It's fuck Amanda too. And that's the energy that I'm bringing. And I don't want anybody who's listening to this podcast. This is your first time to come on here and talk about ask me to see the other side of it. There's no other side to see. There's no other side. I am seeing that. I am seeing that. And specifically from a certain group of people, why like everyone was saying, you must not have friends. You must not have friends. I, as people know who listen to our podcast, I love West. I've loved West. I think he's so funny. He has charisma. He's charming. I still think all of those things. Like I think he's funny. I think he has charisma. And that's how he gets girls. But Jesus, man, like there has to be like a level that you know that like you just don't you don't go below. And there's multiple things that don't make sense for me for West. But my him being funny and having charisma and all those things, like those are all things that most fuck boys also have. So like him being a fuck boy, I'm like, shocker, not that big, like, it's not that surprising to me, right? So I feel like I'm 80 20 20% like, like, come on, West 80% of me is like, I should have seen the signs from Amanda earlier. But Amanda, this is an the interviews coming out and things that she said and things that they've done. It's gross. I think as a viewer, it is very hard to say you saw the signs of Amanda, I really do. I don't think that we would have seen it. The closest thing that we got to it, when it's a clip that's going viral now, is when they were playing a game and Danielle says, Yeah, yeah, yeah, who's the sneakiest person or the person most likely, whatever to do something sneaky, I'm paraphrasing. And she's like, I'm gonna throw a curveball, I'm gonna say Amanda and Amanda's like, what? And Lindsay's like, I agree. And the clip cups cuts off there. And that was also hard to receive because Danielle wasn't necessarily a fan favorite. And it was Lindsay at the time. But if I recall, I think Amanda cried after she does. She does. Okay. And and I want to break everything down because that points to something with Amanda. Now, to me, again, as a fan, if you clocked it from the beginning, good for you. I just think it was impossible to be able to see that Amanda was capable, capable of this as a fan. But I want to break everybody down. No, go ahead. I want to say my one of my best friends has clocked it. And a few episodes ago, because she's been the girl in the group chat that's just like, I don't know, guys, I don't know. Like she just has never liked Amanda. She was on Kyle's side throughout this whole season, even through the last episode. And like last episode, everyone in the group chat was like, her name's Olivia, she won't care if I say her name. Everyone's like, Olivia, give it up. Like Kyle's awful. And she's like, I'm not saying that it's okay to talk to your wife that way. I'm saying I think he might be right. I think she might be a dumb bitch. I think she might be lazy. I think she and we're all like, what is your problem? Like that's crazy. This week, Olivia is walking around looking at everybody like, Oh, do you have something to say to me? Because I think I was right. And she has said it because she's like, we have known who Kyle was since the very beginning. And all Amanda cared about was being famous and being like, she's just selfish and wanted to be famous. So she was willing to see past all the flaws in Kyle. She knew who she was marrying and married him anyway, so that she could stay on the show, be on the show, be famous. He treated Hannah like shit, who was supposed to be her good friend. Wouldn't stand up for Hannah took Kyle's back anyways, even though Kyle cheated on her has never treated her well talked to her like shit. She was like, I can't imagine ever standing up for my husband, treating my friend poorly. And my husband doesn't even talk to me crazy. So the fact that she couldn't stand up to Kyle, who treated her like shit for her friend. She's like, I just knew about Amanda that she was never a girl's girl care so deeply about being famous care so deeply about a man's attention. Like, I just I never have seen it from her. I agree. She clocked it. I will agree with the man's attention. I will there's certain things it's like, and I don't want to get too off track, but like Amanda was young when they first met like 24, like I just there's certain things I didn't see it. Olivia good keep like keep Olivia around because she be crying before. But I will say that I have been critical of Amanda this season, because I've been like, I don't I do think that there's the way that she talks to him is a level of like, and I'm and I of course I'm like, I get it. It's rooted in all the stuff that's happened before. But she is and she's been talking to him kind of crazy. But anyways, that's that's okay. That's neither here nor there. Let's get into 90% of people 98% of people have not clocked it, including both you and I. So oh, no, for sure. I've only said that she talks to him crazy. No, I never saw this coming. I never I kept saying I don't see it from Amanda. I hope it's not true. That's always been the energy. I really hope this isn't true. Even I was like, I think so. Rachel was like, there's no way like I can't imagine Amanda doing this because I kept saying I don't want to believe people are this dark. And I know that people are comparing it to a Scandavala and we'll get into that. It is I'm not going to say one is worse than the other. They are both equally bad. And they but this is different. And we'll get into that because there's a factor that was not present in the Scandavala issue that is present with this. Alright, you started off talking about West, the West of it all. So here's the thing. I have not been seen West since the first season. Right? I was rooting for them at the beginning. The moment that he embarrassed Sierra, I have stayed there. I am page on the couch. I have all I have been like, no, there is something extremely calculated about West. And although I do think West is charming, he has to be because he continues to pull these women and they're and they're like, all he has. And they're like bangers. You know what I mean? Like smart, funny, like a variety, beautiful, like all and like we've seen it, right? Whether they're on the show or they're off the show. So there is definitely a charm there. I'm not taking that away from him. But what I've always clocked about West post after seeing him right because we didn't know him after the first season. But seeing the way he behaved off camera with the interview article, the New York Times article, the way he was on social, the way that Paige said he was in the group chat, she was like, this was some of the heart. This was like the hardest season for a couple of our castmates. And you were talking about this is the best season ever. You were talking about this is amazing. This is great. Without any consideration for the feelings of other people, you only cared how you look because you had a good season. I the bar is very low for men on reality TV. I agree with you women watch this show. And I've seen it from my own bachelor nation crew. These men we talked about here, these men are praised. These men are glorified. These men get attention that they would never have gotten before if they weren't on television because majority women watch the show. And the bar is low for men in general. But now you got a public figure added to their title. And they get they are excused with so much more. So West stands out when you look at his counterparts on the show. Jesse Solomon is cosplaying as Michael Buble walking around the singing in a monotone voice. You know, Kyle is a 43 year old man who's trying to get his groove back in a DJ scene and frat houses with with 20 something year olds. Who else is on the show? Carl is so I love Carl. I do do. But I'm just saying Carl sober like Carl's normal. Carl's just like after 10 years, right? Right. Right. Right. He's been through a lot. When you compare West coming in, of course, West has way more charm. Of course, West is way cooler. He comes from Bleacher Report. He gets fired. Then he comes in with, you know, he gets the job at complex, which complex is all about hip hop and culture and fashion. And it's an intersection of all of that. And he stands in that as being like to work there, you've got to represent all that. So he comes in with all of this, you know, white boy charm that they're not used to seeing the audience, this audience in particular, from these reality TV stars, and also some of these women. But like, once after the first season, I was like, I know this type of guy, I know the type of white boy who bit who uses black culture to big up himself. In cl and in this case, and as Paige pointed out, and we saw he used Sierra as, you know, to to to, I don't know, show her valid valid, really have valid is coolness. She was a fan favorite to show her love on the show. And then threw her to the side when it wasn't convenient anymore. I've always clocked this Frodo dressed up as a Y in. I've always done it. Always. I'm serious. So like, it wasn't first fuck West the first season, but it truly has been the rest of it. I've this season has made me feel so uneasy with him. His behavior to me felt like like West doesn't have a storyline outside of, you know, I felt this way about Sierra. It was so dreamy, but I'm not ready. What else are we talking about with West if it's not this? Now people are pointing out little things that he did of like, Oh, I just remember how crazy everybody was going when he was rubbing her leg or he was putting his foot on her, you know, his that Fred Flintstone foot, or he was putting his meaty small hands on her back. I was like, I don't believe this. I just, I wasn't into all of it. I felt like we're going back to season one where he's kind of using her as a storyline or the playing into it because he knows how much the fans like it with ever actually any commitment. I know this isn't about West, but I just want to talk about the West of it all because I feel like he has been glorified and the relationship with West and Sierra has been romanticized to a to an unhealthy degree, which is which I would just like as an audience that we would just clock this type of behavior. We give these men a pass too much credit. He was it was so obvious how he was playing in our faces from the beginning. I agree. I absolutely was on the West and Sierra train. I loved it so much because they clearly had an insane amount of chemistry. And you can see me, someone who has never met Sierra in her life. I can see how much Sierra liked West. She did. For me to see it means that Amanda could feel it. So I think that is why this is also shocking to me as someone who has a lot of good or not a lot, but like has a group of very, very good girlfriends. Yeah. To your point about the West of it all. I texted my friends this morning because I was just thinking about it. West this is his personal hell. He had to commit to a woman. He does not want to do that right now. And he had to. So that's one to he cares so deeply about what people think about him. People aren't thinking anything good about him right now. So that's two, three. West has been able. And I think this points to what you're saying. West is pretty knowledgeable about black culture. He surrounds himself with a lot of black friends. He's played sports his whole life. His job feeds into it. So he does care about like quote unquote being invited to the cookout. Like that's his goal. Like he loves the vibe of being the white boy that gets invited to cook out. And I think that is why he has been able to be so popular and charming on this show. Because he brings that energy and swag onto this show when we've never had it before. To KJ's point there has never been a black man in this house. So he got to bring what he has learned and from his environment into this house and people have eaten it up. Black people right now could not be more unhappy with West Wilson. So those three things happening all at once for West I think is genuinely genuinely his personal hell. A joint statement with his situation ship. Amanda might be in a relationship. This was a situation ship for West. To put out a joint statement. And I do think that's why it was delayed so long because he probably did not want to do it at all. No. No. Because as we've seen within 24 hours of it coming out there's been like five or six women that have come out being like I've been talking to West. I've been fucking with West. I've been with West in the past month. I've been with West for the past two years. Watch what happens live episode. He wore the tie that I made for him. Yeah. You've been on and off for years. Like West did not want to do this. No. And I think I can't imagine how unhappy he is right now. Yeah. Well like fuck him. Fuck him. Because here and you pointed and you pointed out a really good point too. What people I need to understand is the statement. Everyone's like oh it's word salad. It's word salad. So let's get into the statement. I'm not even fucking read this shit. Not even a really shit. Can we start with the first thing of all of it. Go for it. The fuck told them to put out a joint statement. Fire. Statement. The we the we is well I know why they did. I know why they did it. If I was guessing the move here was the only way to survive this is to be like we didn't mean for this to happen which is what they try to say right. It's bullshit. Right. This is this is the spin. We didn't mean for this to happen but we've had this long friendship and it without us even trying it has evolved into something romantic and we never wanted to hurt people but we can't deny how we feel we're in love. That's that's that was the mindset right. Mm hmm. And it was a bunch of word salad but this is what I want people to realize and it goes to your point of West did not want to do this. They didn't put out this statement because they are they have a connection and their feelings have evolved and they want to be with each other. They got fucking caught. A hundred percent. They put out a statement. A hundred percent. Never know. I don't know what Amanda really wants out of it. I would imagine probably more than West knowing that these women have come out which I believe every single one of them. Right. From personal experience to be like all of it. I believe every single one of these things. Mm hmm. They did not want to anybody to know. Not one similar to Scandinavia. Right. Like we probably would have never known. Maybe it would have come out. We don't know but they got caught. That's exactly what happened here. These two got caught. But and I want to get back into the Amanda of it all because that's a diabolical part of it. But before we do the Amanda West people are pulling back their social media behavior. Now I used to follow Amanda. I unfollowed her. Of course. I never followed her. I don't follow West because we all know how I feel about that. But we know I first met Amanda. We did watch what happens live together. That's how I first met her. So I you know like I was like oh like she's cool whatever I have liked her. I'm not going to act like I didn't which is why I don't think I don't know her clearly. I know she clearly clearly a lot of people. Clearly. But I will say that people have gone back and looked at their social media behavior in these last couple of months West and Amanda. They have been playing in everyone's faces apparently with swap like clothes with song choices with pictures you know that the name card West and Amanda thing is going viral. I mean they have been as we can ever. W. W. They have been so ruthless with it which shows how nasty the two these two of that the two of them are even with West continuing to play into the narrative that we're currently watching on social on Summerhouse that what will they won't they with Sierra West leaving comments on Sierra's page Holy Frick two weeks ago the Oscars where she looked absolutely stunning again because he knows the audience will eat it up. These people have been gaming without any concern of their friends their former lovers with of their show and what yeah the castmates the show of what this will do and for the fans they don't give a fuck about anybody but themselves either to selfish demons demons. I say demons. Now getting into the Amanda of the way. Wait one more thing about the West. Go ahead. Which I feel like this is going to keep happening because there's just so much here. A month ago a month ago when these rumblings first started the day after do more posted the first leak which was about a month ago West completely dispelled it by posting a picture the next day of Sierra at Lindsay's house with Gemma. So he didn't fully try to yeah he didn't try to he didn't say like it's not true but him posting that picture of Sierra was like come on guys obviously if I was with Amanda me and Sierra wouldn't be homies. That is so manipulative and so manipulative and crazy like I cannot even believe he was like oh let me just post this picture of Sierra let me go to Lindsay's house and see Gemma with Sierra and then like that'll go away which guess what he was right. No one talked about it for another two three weeks and then they got caught caught and that's the thing they thought they were and another thing you just made me think of not only did he do that let's not forget the rumor that first existed which explained why Amanda was hanging out so much with West. It was rumored that she was dating West friend who kind of looks like him so that justified Amanda spending so much time with him because he was showing her the streets which again the sheets his sheets the sheets not the streets he was showing her the sheets exactly exactly like with even that comment like thank you to Simone Sanders who was like the people want to know where y'all friends are y'all romantic what the fuck is that statement like that's not how Andy we're trying to help him they were like but your homies right your homies and he was like yeah yeah that she's very important to me that's my homie that's my homie yeah like you thought you were smarter than the audience and why because you know the grace and the deference that is given to you and Amanda over a Sierra TV and we will get into that bigger conversation in a second but you know that you know people are more willing to believe you and Amanda then they are Sierra you know that like you know you have the upper hand and you thought you could get away with it until you couldn't you couldn't what's done in the dark or what's done in the hallway of your apartment will come to light it will come to life and to your point they were never going to tell us so they weren't like trying to do the right thing they had to because it was going to come out because yeah you're new there's video evidence there is video evidence their whole entire cast knew not only like video evidence too many people have seen them together too many people have accounts of them making out in little bars like Dave Portnoy posting yesterday and being like why is this big news Brianna told me that they were together at the Super Bowl yet they were told that before yeah like why didn't you say that already before like why did why didn't you tell us then you should have told us the day after the Super Bowl but yeah that means if they were quote unquote together like in a relationship whatever they think their relationship is at the Super Bowl that means that this has been going on for a while. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. A while. And people look at me back and showing you know clips of just before we got on saw someone put together like how close they would sit next to each other and I wanted to get into all of that like the way he is with her versus Sierra when we talk about this bigger conversation but or how just yeah like they I guess I didn't even clock it like they they are very buddy buddy. I mean even everyone keeps showing the clip of them saying who at the table is single and West raises Amanda's hand for her. They're always sitting next to each other. He's always finding a way to be close to her or touch her but again didn't clock it because as you and I were talking about off mic this cast is very super close. Very touchy. With each other sitting in each other's laughs in a way that I would never be. So I was like that's just what they do in the summer house. Amanda. Amanda called her a demon called her diabolical. Amanda is a low down dirty gutter rat. New York rat. That is who Amanda is. She has proven herself to be that. Amanda earlier this this year this year for this season she said and I quote. Oh wait that's not the quote I want it. Well she said she has she said a lot. She said I could not have gotten through this summer. That's the quote I was looking for. Yeah. Without Sierra's support. Yeah. And yeah. Not only that Sierra did a did her interview like two weeks ago not even that long ago talking about how proud she was of Amanda and how she's taking the right steps and she's living herself. Amanda's done countless countless interviews. Countless interviews. She would never date a cast member. She's not interested in any of the boys on the show. This isn't a Raquel Ariana situation where Ariana says they were really close and started to hang out a lot recently and Raquel's like we weren't that close. We have documented footage interviews pictures everything that you can anything that you could show to prove that your friends if you're watching Southern Hospitality the slideshow that Maddie made to prove that she's friends with TJ you could make that a hundred X to show that Amanda and Sierra are very close friends. Very close friends. Now I know best friend that best friend words get thrown around a lot so I don't want to sit here and be like they're the best friends in the world. Amanda was in Sierra's inner circle. Sierra was in Amanda's inner circle. They absolutely were very close on and off the show. Yeah. You're not going to you're not going to debate me about that. Yeah. There's they may not have been best friends but there's a closeness. It's like being in sorority right and I can speak to this from the bachelor. You go through an experience together that nobody else can understand except the people who have experienced it and that brings the level of closeness that you really can't understand unless you've experienced something like that. Like I'm not going to call everybody from even the girls that I'm closest with from the bachelor. I'm not going to say they're my best friends but I consider myself very close to them because I have opened up to them in ways excuse me in ways sometimes that I can't my best is a friend because they don't understand the experience. Amanda had a front row seat to the entire west of it all. Amanda was one of the people encouraging West to date Sierra that first season and so like she was right there in the same way that Sierra was there for you while you were going through it with Kyle. You were there for her in the way that she was going through it with West and to sit there have a front seat be privy to Sierra's most inner thoughts and feelings only to you know like you look back on the girl club which I like hate girls girl. I hate that kind of thing. It's like I hate when people are like I'm a girl's girl. Just be don't fucking tell it. Don't wear the t-shirt. Don't like it's just be. We can tell if you are if you aren't and for Amanda I mean I thought she was but I realized you realized that that was popular to do. You realized you could monetize the girl code of it all and so now I feel like anytime I've seen you with Sierra it was more about for show and how that could boost your visibility or your profile rather than actually being a friend to her and that's in like this isn't a mistake. You didn't slip and fall on West lips West dick West whatever it is. This is something that you actively did to somebody who considered you a friend and yes there's the Kyle of it all too. How about West on the show. That is a real thing and it's also that's more of a friend with Kyle and that's the West Kyle thing. Yeah like that's more of a West Kyle thing. Like for the way Amanda has positioned herself the way that they have continued to talk about this deep friendship that they've had. I've seen it in person that it's like the way that you're moving. Again I really think when I see that statement and I see the way that they went about it Amanda thinks that she will get the Amanda treatment that she's been getting the last 10 years where she will be and finalized where she will be like given the benefit of the doubt and there is a sector of people that are doing that. I wrote something back on somebody's thread today of talking about you know this is this is bad and this is disrespectful and it's wrong but neither one of them cheated and then somebody said something like well it's different because of race and then the girl goes the girl who wrote the original post she's like it's unpopular opinion she goes I didn't consider the race thing and I go and I wrote underneath and I go well then your whole opinion has no merit. If you can't see that shut the fuck up. But Rachel even without the race thing which to me separates it from Scandival it's bad without the race thing like don't even put the race thing in it her I understand she's not even divorced but like newly getting divorced wants to live her single girl life whatever and I was trying to think last night like let's say like her and Wes are really good friends and they did hang out and they randomly mistakenly or like drunkenly made out one day. If she called Sierra the next day and was like holy fuck I made a mistake like I'm so so so sorry whatever I'm sure Sierra would have been mad but then also chose I'm not gonna hang out with them anymore that was really weird like I can't do that. Still would be very weird but like I think Sierra could get over it I think it could be fine you know what I mean like whatever. Without the race thing she not only did that and then kept choosing to do it kept lying to Sierra about it making everyone feel dumb for thinking it could be true played into it not being true and only ended up telling Sierra because she got caught without the race thing then you add on this huge element of knowing from her not only how deeply she's cared about West but also all of the backlash and hatred that she has felt from being a black woman and being played by white relationships on this show multiple times to know all of that and for you to still be like well I'm also playing her face. Yep. Is crazy. It's crazy no it's it's absolutely insane and the reason I bring the race thing up I mean obviously for obvious reasons but it really is the issue here because the timing of it is wild we're coming off the heels of a conversation where Sierra pours her heart out and is extremely vulnerable about how she feels as a black woman on this show how she feels having to navigate not just being the first black person on this show but then also being someone who's been in an interracial relationship a couple of times with somebody on the show we've seen we've really seen three times right Luke who played in her face with Hannah then Austin who played in her face who called her a Jezebel on camera which I want to circle back to then we see it with West West then we see it with Jesse this season and so before we even get to Amanda fucking around on her it's like she's telling you that I'm this is how I feel this is what has happened to me this is how the audience perceives me and you will never see it because you don't know what it is to sit in this and I'm finally finding the way to say it to you and West is looking at her like a fucking idiot and Amanda gets up and walks over and consoles her and says she loves her in this moment and you said fuck all that your emotions how you feel what you said in this moment because my emotions and my desires mean more than how you feel on this show or how you have to navigate this world as a black woman this summer house world and this world just period so anybody who's trying to side with the man Amanda you can miss me with all of that because what we saw not just from even Sierra Mia talking KJ talking about what it is you said forget it forget it because I don't care I don't care my stuff means more to me than any of your feelings it's even if she wasn't her friend it would be fucked up but it's just even worse in that moment like you made us believe as an audience that you actually cared you physically got up West didn't do that which is going to bring me to another point West I'll go back to the whole thing West knows exactly what to do to play with the audience to make people think he's actually into Sierra even what he did with Sierra I'm not saying he's not attracted to Sierra by any means but it was never really deeper than that for him it was a calculated move which is why I love Paige so much for calling that out if you watch this is why I say this season has never set well with me even more so with West watching the way that West has handled Amanda versus how he has handled Sierra over three seasons is extremely telling and I didn't need a playback to see this when Sierra confronted West at the very first reunion he sat there look like as a mute nothing to say just a dumb look on his face stuttering and I don't know I don't know couldn't find the words when she confronted him couldn't find the words over the last couple of seasons couldn't find the words to when she had something to say to him at the dinner table or when they went out or whatever it may be he just sat there all he did was complain about Sierra even to Amanda she's making me look bad she's telling everybody on this she's telling everybody that again to your point concerned what everybody thinks about him even when Jesse confronted him this season about wanting to make out with her he couldn't find the words to tell Jesse that it bothered him because he did not really care he goes on to kiss Jesse then makes the comment about I didn't you didn't ask for permission therefore making fun of the whole Sierra about it because Sierra was disposable to him and for people who are like oh he just he gets nervous he can't find his words well he could find them for Amanda this season when it when it came to Amanda he chased after her multiple times he confronted and stood up to Kyle and found the words with that he told her he loved her on camera I don't even know if he ever said that to Sierra I love you on camera he was it was so easy for him to like see how Amanda had been done wrong and how and feel sorry for her but when Sierra was saying how she felt he never got up and consoled her he never got up and said I love you he never he never did any of these things and so it's like he even this season he has valued Amanda and validated her feelings more than he ever has Sierra's over the last three seasons and which is why to me she always was just a pawn and I hate to say it this way because I love Sierra but she was a pawn in his game a fandom I mean not a fame I should say he is some he used her to elevate his profile his platform for fame to become as popular as possible to become as popular as possible which we're watching him do this season but when you really break it down he's given Amanda way more than he's giving I mean look at the way he even looks at Amanda versus how he looks at Sierra like the stuff that they're I don't really get it I don't get it but I agree with you I don't understand it the only thing I can understand about it all is that obviously Amanda put up with an insane amount from Kyle and she's clearly okay with whoever she's with to do whatever they want and so that is the type of person that West would want but to blow up your friendship to blow up your career to blow up the show for a guy who doesn't want to commit and is with a million other girls at the same time I I can't even like measure the bad decision-making here I think that they thought that they would never get caught I really do I think even the behavior after you know West on watch what happens live the posting on social media like they really thought they were above it I don't know if they ever really if Amanda even saw herself I mean there's the quote in Marie Claire where she's like I just need a younger fun guy and I think that maybe that's what she was doing but again at the expense of at the expense of Sierra one of her very good friends yeah yeah absolutely and like another thing to just like you the evidence is so mount so high of like how West really didn't give that to shits about Sierra which is why I know all of this is so devastating because she definitely did and she gave a shits about her friendship with Amanda when West did find a voice to talk about the situation he always centered himself over Sierra like even when Sierra was at the table saying about being black on the show and interracially dating he was like yeah I mean people were coming to me and calling me a racist and it was at that point that I understood what she was going through or even like I just said Sierra's complaining about me to everybody he never cared how Sierra looked in in all of it how Sierra felt what you did that contributed to people feeling a certain way about Sierra like she never was somebody you deeply cared about I actually do think he cares about Amanda Moore I don't think that he wants to be in a relationship where with everybody cares about her and I guess that goes to what which is why like I don't want to I never wanted to come in here and talk about it because I hate what's happening to Sierra and I hate that she's going through this so publicly but it it speaks to a bigger issue about black women on reality tv and six years ago I tried to pitch a show called black bitch you can see why I didn't get picked up because I wanted a provocative title but it was a docu series and nobody tried to steal this because I've already registered it about being a black woman on reality tv and the way that you are portrayed and how to consider to be entertaining or understood or whatever and I use that with quotations you have to fit into a certain stereotype to be on black tv and if you haven't started that way they will eventually get there even for me right they liked me and then I eventually became the angry black woman right then you have the coon you have the jezebel you have the hood rat you have the mammy you have the bible thumper you have the uncle tom you have the orio these are all stereotypes that exist that they put black women specifically I'll speak to not saying it doesn't happen to black men that they fit into one of these on reality tv and with Sierra you have seen her as the jezebel you have seen her which is why I said I'll come back to it because Austin called her that Austin said she's like a jezebel you know Sierra has talked about you brought up this podcast the Smith sisters on their show shout out to the Smith sisters about her talking about how being called hot doesn't even mean anything to her anymore because people say it all the time it's how she's viewed we see this season how jesse looks at her she's just this this conquest that they were they're so curious about achieving and then they throw her to the side when she's so much more than that and like that's also the bigger issue that I need more people to talk about the way that Sierra is treated on these shows is as a black stereotype she's just this hot thing that is almost void of any emotion void of any depth when that could when she's so much more than the way that they want to put her on this show and that is how west has treated her that is how jesse has treated her that is how austin has treated her fuck austin trying to do a post right now to try to capitalize on it your hands are dirty too that's how luke treated her that's how the audience has perceived her and it's just devastating that now it's blow and and i'll go ahead and say Amanda like it's a man that she was disposable too as if she's not a real human being because you're looking at her as a stereotype as a character on this show rather than considering her as a friend as a lover or as a person and that's something that needs to be talked about and it's crazy that this idea is still relevant today sadly and we're watching it blow up so big i hope that seara because i feel like now people are like okay so you know is there a show is there not a show i'll be honest with you i'm not going to watch a fucking show where a man with amanda and and west west navigate yeah i'm only gonna watch it if seara's on it because i'm gonna support her but what i would hope for seara is if she does come back that there are no tears there and even with the union because we know we still have the reunion there is the mantra is i'm not angry i feel sorry for you because you're so pitiful that is the energy that i wanted to have i wanted to feel sorry for them you're sad i feel i feel so sorry for it's so gross yeah it's sad like it must be sad for you to have been embarrassed for 10 years on this show and complain about a man who is going through a midlife crisis and trying to relive his 20s and be out all the time only to date that very same man i only to jump into the arms of very same man and sacrifice your reputation your career your castmates and your friendships in the process i feel sorry like i feel so sorry for you yeah i feel so sorry for you that on 10 years on tv where you get to watch yourself back and you get to watch how people treat you that you have not learned a single thing that you have not gained a shred of confidence because to your point for her to give up all of this and not care about anybody else for another man who could very possibly be a dj in his 40s as well it's hard to like wrap your mind around it as sprung as i've ever been because we've all been sprung right we've all been sprung i've never sacrificed a friendship in the name of dick i've never been that dumb off the dick you know how much i love that saying i've never been like that and and to do it in such a public way it really just speaks to the ego of it all like and i and i know i'm going hard on amanda and i don't care what y'all say but logically i've really tried to see is there any kind of way and there just isn't there you know what i i've also tried to and i was thinking i was like this also isn't like them in their like early 20s and just being dumb and selfish this also isn't rakel who like no one really had high expectations for don't think she was like the smartest person in the world um it's it's it's hard for me to understand in your 30s to go after one of your best friends who was also supporting you through a divorce where she is and has been syria has been very clear her and kyle are good friends kyle has stood up for syria time and time again on this show we've seen it probably more than anyone else now that now that we're like talking about it i don't know if anyone has stood up for syria more than kyle on the show and she still syria still made a point to make sure that amanda knew i am team amanda in all of this i love kyle i hope i can still be friends with kyle and she was so far team amanda that kyle was confused kyle was like me and syria are friends like why is she going so hard at me yeah because she needed amanda to know that she supported amanda yeah yeah you are right you went through all of that with her in your 30s you're getting divorced from a man who treated you like shit for forever and this girl had your back through it all and you're still doing this you're still choosing this path i i i can i can me thinking of and trying to rationalize i can get past dumb 20 year old i can get past rakel and being stupid like that was more to me i was more mad at tom and rakel because you know we didn't have high expectations this doesn't make sense yeah yeah yeah it it doesn't make sense because our minds don't think like that kaly thank god we aren't built like that this is some egotistical like selfish just i'll go back to the word diabolical behavior that we can't conceptualize because we aren't built like that right i mean even my friends were like at the especially at this age at this age obviously a lot of us are married but like at this age if one of my friends started dating someone they're automatically just like not attractive to me anymore and i was like i was like when i was in college or like someone i dated in college if one of my friends wanted to date them because it was like a young dumb thing first of all they'd probably still come and talk to me about it before they did it right right but like sure go ahead or like distant friend not very close they start dating my ex fair game um currently being filmed on a tv show with someone currently being interviewed and talking about how close this friend was to me how she helped me get through my life knowing how much this man meant to my friend regardless of them barely dating why you live in new york you live in new york this isn't charleston where everyone is recycling the same people right live in new york with millions of men yeah millions yeah yeah this was your time we were rooting for you we were we were we were like this is what a man is gonna do a man has got this glow up all of this stuff and what do you do why because she's a gutter rat and that's why and that's why she's down there with the field she that's why she's down there this is what i'll say i just can't imagine and i know for a fact they didn't want this to come out before the reunion then thank god it's it and this is the thing we a lot of people are like oh my gosh see her and needs to have her ariana moment for the very things that callie and i talked about she can't she can't be ariana cursing out um swests and amanda she's gotta be above it but i almost think that that could be even better of the i don't i'm not angry that's too much energy i feel sorry for you and i would have the most condescending tone ever while looking like the bad bitch that i am you want to stereotype me as just a jesabelle let me show you how fucking smart i actually am and above this because to be true amanda's the jesabelle amanda's the jesabelle in all of this i if seara does go back to the show i think she should if if she does decide which i don't forward we needed a shift anyways people were aging out whatever kyle can stay we can see newly divorced kyle we can see um seara being single which by the way the only silver lining i can see in all of this is thank god seara you dodged a bullet and you can now move on from this you can now move on if she does go on the show i do i definitely want amanda and west off and i think that since she is the queen of costumes that she should volunteer to throw the first party and the theme should be heroes and villains and she should come dressed up as amanda or as west bring her crew of friends have it in her contract i don't have to be there every every week i'll come when i want to but she comes with her friends her people she has an adjacent house she don't even stay in the house like i would be living my best seara life but throwing like like the first party with dressing up as them throwing shade at the same time and then and then just keep showing how you're above it all i i do now if you do this is my only ask if you do do a sit down interview of course i'm not even gonna say let it let it let it let it be with me i would prefer it right like i feel like it's a conversation that the the company that gave amanda the is it eddie flower that they they they replace her with seara like i would love for these things to happen and i hope that commercial yes i hope that she is able to use this opportunity because i've seen that her following following account has gone up tremendously to all and to all the people who weren't it's such a shame that it takes this for you to recognize and you had to feel sorry for seara to follow her she should have already had a following account she had like half the followers that amanda or page had now page has other stuff so that for me to watch right now well we should finish on that we know i haven't seen it you saw it i watched it last night everybody knows summer house and southern charm are my two favorite bravo shows and i guess salt lake city last night was not enjoyable it's not fun to watch and it made me even more mad at west and amanda because i absolutely loved summer house the only bright spot of last night was carl attending uh lindsay's housewarming party and being like i'm not sure if she knows she invited me because she's just sent it in the group chat but i'm coming and he came and he brought jemma a gift and he brought a housewarming gift and i just love how carl's like i'm going to be nice to her until she accepts me and will be friends with me again and she can say whatever she wants she can say i don't have sex she can say whatever and i'm just gonna smile and keep being nice and i find it very funny but it is the only moment of the entire episode i laughed seeing seara comfort amanda seeing seara tell amanda she deserves better and that she needs to have more confidence seeing west stand up to kyle i was just like again he can find the words in the space for amanda but gets so confused and becomes a blithering idiot when it comes to having to do anything with seara and we're supposed to feel sorry for him in that situation man yeah no but you know in this reunion that's what i don't want to see i don't want to see amanda crying i can't do it can't do it i do west better talk i i can't see west i can't please please please don't come to this reunion with that energy amanda i can't i can't see a tear i can't see it that's where i think it happened to you you did all of this yeah no very much so that's why that's why i hope that lindsay and seara are like no you could find all the words for kyle when it came to taking up for amanda so like we know you know how to use your words you just only use them for certain people so you need to find them now you need to
