Insights
  • College basketball's transfer portal and NIL deals have fundamentally changed how championships are won, with Michigan's roster composition sparking debate about 'buying' teams versus strategic roster building
  • NBA front office instability (Bulls firing AK and Eversley) reflects broader ownership challenges where cheap owners struggle to attract top talent despite having resources available
  • Golf course conditions and weather management significantly impact tournament outcomes; Augusta's firmness strategy requires different shot-making approaches than softer conditions
  • Media access to player practice data (range sessions, ball speeds) creates privacy concerns and potential competitive disadvantages in professional sports
  • Successful sports personalities require different skill sets than playing ability; coaching, management, and business acumen don't automatically transfer from athletic excellence

Hey, pardon my take listeners, you can find every episode on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. Trust no one and accuse everyone in who's the bad guy, the official Barstool Sports social deduction game from the brilliant mind of Nick Teraney. In what's quickly becoming the most popular new party game around, players are secretly assigned unique roles with the good guys trying to expose the bad guys and the bad guys doing everything they can to stay hidden. Each game unfolds under alternating day and night phases with roles like the cool chick, the shy guy, the gambler, El Presidente, the mentalist, the planner, the funny guy and more. Every round is unpredictable, chaotic and ridiculously fun. Who's the bad guy is great for parties, pre-games, family gatherings or groups who just love deception based games. Game night will never be the same. Shop now on Walmart.com. On today's part of my take presented by DraftKings, we've got a twofer for the people, the Masters preview, Shane Bacon, awesome Masters preview with him and then our good friend Max Homa getting ready for the best week in golf, I would say. Oh yeah. You guys agree? Yeah. Best week in golf. We have to crown a national champion, Michigan Wolverines, our back on top after Monday nights, national championship. We're going to do some hot seat cool throne. We also have some NBA news. Michael Malone, the Bulls clean their free front office. It's all brought to you by our friends at Chevy football season. Might be over but you know how it goes. The big game ends. We're already talking about what's next. Free agency, the draft, who's getting paid, who's grinding because for football guys there is no off season and that's exactly why they roll with the Chevy Silverado. Silverado is the truck that shows up every time built to haul tow and take a beating but smart where it counts with modern tech that makes life easier. Big screens available, camera views that help with towing and parking in a cabin that feels right whether you're road tripping, heading to practice or loading up for the weekend during the season. It's the MVP, the tailgate after the season. It's it turns into your training camp truck hauling gear, tackling home projects and doing the work that never stops because the grind doesn't take breaks and neither does Silverado. Check out the current offers and build your own Chevy Silverado at Chevy.com. Okay, let's go. Welcome to part of my take presented by draft Kings. The crown is yours today is Wednesday, April 8th and the Michigan Wolverines are on top of the college basketball mountain. They win the 2025 26 national championship. Congrats to Dusty main crew. Congrats I guess big 10. Big 10. Big 10. Yeah, big 10. For the big 10. Indiana. UCLA women's Badger women's hockey. Penn State wrestling. Penn State wrestling. It's just it's a big 10 world we're all living in. Yeah, so Monday night the national championship game. I feel like people didn't enjoy watching because it wasn't great shooting. I had a question for you guys. Michigan was the better team. We all we all saw it. It was it was wild kind of watching a game where it was a five to seven point deficit for Yukon essentially throughout the entire game, but it never felt like it was in Jeff. The only moment that I was like, oh, Yukon might have a chance was when it was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullins missed that three to cut it to four. The one that went in and out. Yeah, cut it to four. That was the moment where I was like, oh, this could be something that didn't happen. It was that just never felt like it was that and then there was the the steel at mid court that turned into zero points on a breakaway. Yeah. And then the three right afterwards. So like those were the two times where it felt like it might get kind of close. But the irony is like Yukon probably played the best game that they could like this was except for shooting. This was yeah, but this is the exact script that they needed from Michigan. Like they out rebounded Michigan 46 39. And they were I think Michigan was minus seven actually on three pointers compared to Yukon. So like, yes, Yukon didn't shoot great, but Michigan was like all time bad shooting three. Well, that was the thing, though. That was it was the pace was perfect. The the I know the people are going to complain about the about the files. Yeah, I don't like when a national championship has a lot of files, but Yukon files more than Michigan. That's been the case all year. Like, yeah, there were a couple here and there, but I didn't think that was the prevailing thought. But yeah, it was Yukon. If they could have shot 38 percent from three, they would have won the game. That's what we said, right? Yeah, on and I think the last show, it's got to suck knowing that you had that where you you played great defense, you had the bad Michigan night. But that also is a credit to Michigan because the biggest take away I had from that game was and, you know, I watched Michigan all year, especially in big 10 play. What they do at the rim. Completely changes everyone's mentality. They're the opponents are playing. Yukon was scared. You are like, and I'm not saying scared in a bad way. I'm just saying they it was in their head that going to the rim was most likely going to get blocked. There were little hook shots that they were putting up that they were missing long by like three feet. Right. Yeah. So it's like little things like that. It's just they were Michigan was such a force at their rim denial. And the Yaxle was hobbled and they still like Morris Johnson was awesome. Mara was awesome. Elliot Cadillac wins MOP like they're just they were the best team. They were the best team all year. Outside of Duke, because that actually was my other big takeaway was like Duke just completely. Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago. Oh, I think if Duke plays in the championship game, they win by 50 easily easily. That was a wasted opportunity. But Michigan is a deserving champion. What they did in this tournament against the best teams in the hardest conference. I think we can all agree like the big 10 was the best conference this year. Yeah, easily. And yeah, the Dusty May is now. Is he is he next up in terms of like, is he going to rattle off a bunch or is he going to go to the NBA? Well, so if he wants to rattle off a bunch, he has to kind of rework the team every off season. Yeah, he has to hit the portal. He has to be active in the which he already is. Oh, he's always in Michigan. I think is right now the favorites to win next season. Mm hmm. Tough to win back to back. I, you know, I kept forgetting because they kept bringing the Fab five out. I kept forgetting that the Fab five never won a championship. Yeah, I was like Fab five. Because the way that they brought him out, it was like, yeah, we're bringing back that team. Yeah, from the late 80s at once. Like, wait, no, they actually got there right afterwards. The the the Fab five cultural impact. I totally understand. Imagine, though, if you work like Glenn Rice and be like, but I won. I won a title at Michigan. They don't never they never bring me back. Yeah, but he's got Sarah Palin. Yeah, he does. That's all that matters. The yeah, but the Michigan team, we talked about it with with Dusty May, taking the picture of him scouting the final four game. That's a that's something you do if you know that you have the best team. Yeah, we also had Michigan. I think there was players live streaming the night before the national championship trying to guess the size of Wemby's penis. Like, these are things that you do when you're the best team and you know you're the best winning culture. Yeah, that's that's all that is. I yeah, I think they did all this. And when we're talking about like Michigan not having the best night and how like that game script, if there was one that could have favored you, that's kind of what it was. It actually it is a massive compliment to Michigan that they're that good. Right. And they can weather all this and still have a no doubt or championship out of it. That's how good a team. They are also Yaxle being very limited. And to the point where he's he's telling. Yeah, he's telling Tracy Wolfson like, yeah, I suck right now. Yeah, I'm not. I don't feel good. I feel awful. This sucks. I don't want to be out here. I'm not good at basketball. Yeah, like it was it was a refreshingly honest, half time interview. He does clip farm, though. Can we agree on that? Oh, yeah, big like Yaxle is a clip farmer. Yeah. Speaking of your point of the Michigan, the Indiana W.A. tournament teams that scored under 70 points shot under 40% from the field and shot under 15% from three and got out rebounded were 0 and 50 all time. They're now one and 50. That's Michigan. That's that's just what they they scored all their points in the paint. They got to the free throw line. They were the better team. I never at one point thought like I really didn't think and I know that you can't fancy. I don't think you can't fancy or have to be like there's a part of them probably is a little upset. Like we had the script. All we had to do is make a couple of trees. But the other part is like you've won two out of four. You've been to three out of four. This team was not the best you can't and they fought like as valiantly as possible. They went down fighting, which you you have to be proud of them. But I there wasn't a moment in the game where I was like, Oh, you can't is going to win this game. I really didn't feel it. I know that that's crazy to say because it wasn't a blowout and never got to like balloon to like 1520 points. But I just didn't feel it. Well, also with Kado like he was a guy that going into the tournament was like a liability. Yeah, he was looked at as being like if Michigan is going to get beat, it's because their guards not going to be able to get done. And he was probably the best player on the court last night. And he was the reason why they won. Yeah, which is pretty incredible. And that team is just stacked. I thought Mara didn't have as good a game as it. But like all the shots that he impacted where he wasn't blocked, it did feel like every time you got in the paint, it felt like they were throwing a basketball into like four lanes of traffic. And it was just going to get hit by car. And there were some violent ass blocks. Oh, yeah. Like these were some like into the third row blocks. These were some I want to break somebody's nose. I'm blocking the ball so hard like they were not trying to keep the ball in play. No, they were trying to intimidate with the blocks. And it did. It actually it worked. And you con great season. I they overachieved in the tournament a little bit. But I mean, they were a good team. But Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Yeah, they cover that silly great cover. Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year. Great cover. That's that's just insane. He's just a great tournament coach. Dusty May now in the conversation of great tournament coaches, great coaches overall, I also love that Danny Hurley got everyone off the scent. Like everyone expected him to do a press conference and complain about the refs. Yeah. And he went the exact opposite. He's like, I love this crew. He's like, if this crew was a referee every single time, I'd sleep all night. You see, he ran over and he was the first guy who was the first responder after the ref got knocked over. Yeah. Underneath the basket. He's like, let me help you up. But that was that was the high knees, Jeff. I mean, that that was the that that was my point about the rest. Like I yes, I don't want that many many calls. But like, I do think Yukon plays a style that they're going to call it. And like, yeah, there was a couple of times there was probably like two or three calls like, all right, that might have been 5050 or there might have been a little bit of a flop there. For the most part, you kind of didn't hit their threes. They just need to hit a couple more threes. That's it. Yeah, I thought it was I thought it was actually a pretty well-officiated game. Yeah. Yeah, you can you can always make the case that like it's the championship. Let the boys play a little bit more. But there wasn't really like they didn't affect the game. Yeah. Michigan was the best team by far in this tournament. I think Yukon did a great job slowing down. They didn't score 90. Yeah. But Michigan was just the best team all season, especially peaking at the right time. And now it's like, wow, how are we going to remember this tournament? Is this really a moans, Duke? Yeah. Got it. I agree. That was a shot. That's that's the one shining moment. I think Big Ten supremacy. Yeah, true. Good point, Hank. I know you love, you know, touting conferences. Yeah, you love that. Big Ten greater than Big East. Yeah, true. Oh, Big East. I think everyone in Big East finished 100 top 100 in Ken Palm. Can we put it on this TV, by the way? It's not on. So we're just going to when we start to search shit, you could have done it, Hank. Now you make Max do it. I can do it. He makes people look like. So you think Big Ten is the story. Yeah, by far easily. I mean, story of the tournament is paid to play. I lost a lot of money. Probably Mullins hitting that shot at the last second. I would say it's a pay to win tournament. Pay to win tournament like basketball is ruined. They should expand unsustainable. Yeah, that's the new word that is next year, the first year of expansion. I don't know. They haven't decided yet. Yeah, but it would be the haters take away from the tournament is Michigan didn't have any Michigan had 100 percent transfers. Michigan bought their team. They bought their team. Yeah. It's so funny whenever someone says that, because like if your team could buy a team, you would want that to every team tries to buy teams. I will say like there is a world where, yes, it probably would mean a little bit more if it was all guys who had been there for three, four years. Like if Purdue had won this year, there would have been a little bit more of sentimental, hey, I watched these guys for four years, but a fucking championships. The championship. I don't care how it comes. They did celebrate like the thunder a little bit. Well, it was like a zero. Zero celebration. You actually had a shock. The world is like you guys were. Yeah, it's John Howard. Very big, very big favorites. Yeah. It was kind of weird having John Howard around too. Like he just got fired. Yeah, I guess Dusty May, like one of the first calls he made was to John Howard. And I mean, credit to John Howard for for being like the bigger man and being like, yeah, I got fired, but I still love my school. I feel like Dusty May, if they make a movie out of this season, he's definitely been played by the guy from Billions, right? Bobby Axelrod. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, Bobby Axelrod. Yeah. Dusty May also like bad night to be a Michigan State Spartan. Dusty May also might be next up with the horse voice. Oh, he's always. Yeah. Yeah. For the last month, he's kind of cucked Tom is going into the tournament voice in Michigan going to the tournament. They did the behind the scenes and he's like talking to the guys in the huddle and you can't understand a goddamn word. He's no. But you get. But you know what he's saying. Yeah, you can feel it. Just saying that's that's a that's something to just put on your radar that Michigan State it's got to be told for Michigan State fans. Who's who's having the worst right now? Well, it's January, February, Iso May. May. I didn't like what Dave did to you on Wake up Barstil. That was mean about. Well, no, you're bringing this up. You're doing it right now. We're talking about who had. No, but you're doing it right now. Hank's being a good friend. He's saying he didn't like it. Yeah, right. Right. But you're doing it right now. Well, you're doing what Dave did. Yeah, I'm not. No, you are. I'm not going to say that's fine. Dave said we were in the building, which I was there for as well in Indianapolis, Big Ten School, Wisconsin, Loss to Duke and then Dave said he vowed to avenge your loss, which I had not heard until Michigan last night in Indianapolis. Got a win for the conference. Right. He avenged you. And I did not like that. I did not like that. I also might my simple point back to Dave was that on Sunday, I texted Dave and I said, I have a future that I win $250,000. If you con wins, you have a future that wins $500,000. Michigan wins. Why don't we come together and just say, let's go have these no matter what who wins? Would that wouldn't someone who's trying to avenge my death do that? Yeah, he should have. He should have. So I don't know where that to disappear. It's not right. Yeah. It's not right. It was really to avenge my death. He's now split it with Dave's going through right now. And you guys agree. I like I if you con it one, I would have 100% split it with Dave. Yeah, you definitely will. But I mean, I would have actually doubled people act like Dave has a horseshoe wedged up his ass just because he's won multiple NBA championships, a college basketball championship, a college football championship, like 12 Super Bowls. Water polo this Friday. He's a US Open champion at Shinnecock and he won the dozen and everyone acts like all he does is what his red socks are down bad. So I don't think that he's betting them every. I don't think he can afford to split that with you. He actually I know what he's betting every game on the red sox and I I actually don't think he can afford it at this point. No, two and eight as somebody that is bet every Pirate's game and then every White Sox game and then every athletics game over the course of a year. You run into a moment where you're going through a cold streak and then you start to double the unit size. No matter what you say at the start of the year, you start to double and then you get in trouble. And I think he probably had every intention of splitting that future with you. And then the Red Sox just broke his heart. Double trouble. OK, it's contrius OK. Hank, yeah, what happened? He's a he's an emotional guy. Yeah, let's call them out. Fiery dude. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. They're dumpster fire. Yeah, dumpster fire that early in the season. Dumpster fire. I thought they were going to be a dumpster fire going into the season. Oh, dumpster fire. Remember Shane tried to dunk on me. Yeah. Mm hmm. I mean, the Cubs are not much different in the fact that everyone's just hurt. Kate Orton. Nothing worse than the forearm tightness. That's just got to be the worst, the worst, because it's it's like that's not a real injury, but it's coming. The real injuries coming to us. Jerkin. Any time the forearm tightness is reported. OK, breaking moves, breaking moves. Give us some give us the move. That's it. Is your mic even on his hands mic on? Move into the mic. Breaking moves. Kate Horton is out for the year. Damn, damn. It sucks so fucking bad. That's terrible news. I love Kate Horton. This is basically exactly what happened to Justin Steele last year, beginning of the year. Maybe the imaging's not like sometimes the imaging can be blurry. And you're not sure what you're not sure what you're looking at. And maybe the imaging, like, once you get a clearer picture, it's going to be fine. Fucking sucks. The the the Cubs did win tonight. So when we're taping a little out of order, because this is not the real breaking moves, which we'll get to. But shout out that fan who was going for the foul ball in their entire ass fell out. That was a tough scene. That was an all time clip. Hank, did you see that clip? I didn't know. I always say I've been locked in on golf. I went off the internet. Yeah, mini golf. You got to pull up that clip. I always say you got to wear underwear to the ballpark. Yeah, that was it. The Cubs won tonight, so it wasn't that would have been a perfect. This is the Cubs season. How it's going. I thought it was Max. Kate Horton being out really fucking sucks. It looked like Max out there. Yeah, Hank, you watch the clip, give us a live reaction to the clip. His pants were down before. Like he moved. I'm like half nervous. It's going to be like a prank fell down. Yeah, we're just down. Yeah, all time, all time. Camera clip. I mean, how does that? It's insane. It's about as bad as it gets. Yeah, in terms of visuals. Yeah. OK. All right. The real breaking moves. Obviously, there was a report from New York Post about two friends of the program, Diane Rossini and Mike Frabel. The report essentially had them. I look like a like a camera, like a person, like in the bushes or something. I don't know who had got him paparazzi at a hotel in Sedona together. Yeah, probably not the best look. And I know that every single AWL, which I understand is like these guys have to talk about it. And I agree, we do have to talk about it. Yeah. So when I saw this, I immediately I walked out of the studio and memes was cackling at the desk. And I did the rigs. I was like, hey, I'm rigs now. I'm rigs now means not from the main account. And then memes, he was he was free to fire off from from the personal channels later on. But I did I did tell memes not to put anything out from the main account. I told memes I was like fire whatever you want. It's one of those situations, whenever something like this happens, like you can tweet whatever you want. If it's wrong later, it's going to suck for you. But you could tweet. I told you memes. I was like, go for it. I also. I meant from the main. Yeah, because that feels like like they are friends of ours. Yeah, I didn't I didn't want to just like take a shit on them as this was all breaking and we weren't exactly sure what was going on. It's I'm in an awkward position because Diana is a very good friend. I'm friends with her family, her family's friends in my family. So I feel I feel bad that this is happening right now. And I have. I don't want to I don't want to jump to any conclusions. But I have been around her before when she has been accused of doing bad stuff that I I have known to not be true. So she's been accused without reason before. I'm not saying that's what's happening this time. I'm just saying I'm going to have her back. She's my friend. I'm not going to talk shit about her because I feel like that would be just a really a shitty thing for me to do as she's probably having the worst day of her life. Yeah, definitely. So I'm not I'm not going to come close to doing that. And Mike Vrables, a friend of ours. Yes. My first reaction was like, so what's the big deal? Jake Lazer had 25 dudes at his pool party. Like he's probably hooking up with all of them. Johnny Fanta insert himself into coach's wedding before. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I'll so I am I do consider Diana and Coach Vrables friends. And look, this is one of those situations. I don't I'm going to take their word for it. Like they're they're going through it right now. And to pile on would make me a bad friend. I'm not going to if it's if it comes out that it was bad stuff. And you know, marriage are getting broken up. I'm not going to defend that. But like I at this point, I there's I'm going to go off of what I'm reading. And I get it. People have to make their jokes. Like I'm not going to I told memes when I came in. I was just like, dude, you could say whatever the fuck you want. I told J. O'Connell, say whatever you want. Like you guys it would be crazy for me. Yeah, to be like, you can't make a joke. Oh, if there's guys that make jokes about everything. So everyone else is going to make jokes. And I have no problem with it. People want to blog it. Joke about it. I don't give a fuck. I personally am not going to like drag them and make it worse for them because I do have a relationship with both of them. But I'll say it doesn't look great. Like no, just the pictures don't look great. But again, I'm not going to accuse them of something if I'm going to take them for their work. Yeah. Yeah. So I told memes not don't fire from the main account. Your personal channel, go for it. And then Dave put out the video where he did the rigs thing too. And I think because Dave put that video out, I think everybody was afraid to blog it. Yeah, because nobody blogged it. But we didn't tell anybody not to blog it. No, I just I best case scenario. It's not what it looks like. Yeah. Listen, we've been through this many times. Like I remember it happened. I think it was like maybe probably nine or 10 years ago. It might have been. I can't remember was maybe Blake Griffin. Like someone trashed him on on the blog and he was like, what is this? I was like, dude, I'm sorry. Like I he was like, yeah, I don't really care. But I was just wondering and I was like, yeah, it's like we're a big company like where people are going to write shit. But we can control what we can say. And memes, would you like to say anything? Because everyone I think I think this when this story came out, it obviously was a huge story. People make jokes. But I think maybe the number one person who got tagged in everything was memes. Every single person was tagging you. And like I saw the New York Post article. I was doing dinner with my kids. So I missed it when it first came out. And I saw it maybe like 45 minutes after and I looked at the tweet and memes must have been tagged a million times underneath. I was tagged in it right away. And I saw it right away. So there was there was one moment where memes was reading the comments underneath one of the posts and he was reading them out loud to me. And he's like, and then they're saying like, how come memes hasn't responded? And then the other guy just said memes is probably reading this right now. Yeah. Yeah. So I just like her articles. I just read the headline. So I tried quoting it real quick. We're just like, oh, she's best friends with Mike Vrabel. Like, of course, she hates the Jets. Right. I don't know. I also kind of think she leaked this article. Oh, go on. I like Wendy Fingers. Fingers go on. Go ahead. Like who who gives a fuck about Racini and Vrabel like going out in the middle of the desert? Who leaks that? Racini. Or you. It's a meme. A meme. And then what better way to announce your hate for the Jets than being like, I'm hanging out with Mike Vrabel on rooftop. Now I. I do. I love it. I do think the best the best thing ever would be if the Eagles traded A.J. Brown tomorrow. Yeah, she's back. Yeah. And then she leaks a net. A new article. A.J. Brown's at the hotel, too. Yeah. Yeah. Now you're doing the fanfic. Yeah. Yeah. Just let it go. So to fly. Big cat's right. Like if this was about anybody else, we would be making all the jokes. That's what I'm saying. I would be making every joke about the situation. So have at it. Do do your jokes if you want. Like I'm not I'm not going to want or complain about it. Just I'm just saying like from my perspective, she's a very good friend, very close friend, and I don't want to. I don't want to look like I'm piling on or adding to a bad situation because number one, I don't actually know what happened. And two, like I'd like to think that I'm a good friend and somebody that would absolutely try to help somebody if they go through a tough time. So if that's what she's going through, then I'm just going to try to be a good friend. Right. It's like you don't want to you don't want to make it worse for your friends. And that that's and again, it's I anyone who walks anyone who wants to tweet it and be like, or like, you know, someone saw on the street being like, Hey, what do you think? Like, don't look great. What do you want me to say? But I'm they they they release their statements and I'll I'll believe my friends. And if it turns out to be not true, then I'll be look like an idiot. But at least I'll say that, hey, I have my friends back. So yeah, that's that's kind of like, yeah, people accusing us of being hypocrites for the rigs, tiger situation. I mean, we're talking about it right now. It happened like two hours ago. We're on the podcast. We're doing an emergency breaking moves talking about it. So we're not going to just like pretend it didn't happen. I think there's also a bit of a difference between like somebody's fourth DUI. Yeah, where they were like, I mean, I'm friends with Dan, but you've been friends with her for a decade. Like, you know, so. But yeah, it's and again, have it. You can make the jokes. I think I think they probably both know those are coming and the internet moves fast. And, you know, the masters will be here and life will go on. Also, anyone that was panicking about Trump starting a nuclear war before the masters just does no ball. Yeah, like that man is not ruining his weekend. Yeah, memes, will you be will you be cooking up any memes going forward? I had some, but those are those are for the personal files. I will say this. There is a valuable lesson here. Yeah. Like when I call out Diana, we sometimes just got to let the entire story come out and not just look at these clickbait articles. Right. Yes. And take their word for it. I agree. Because like the the worst case scenario is this is it. This is the if it's the worst case scenario, there are marriages and kids involved that fucking sucks. And so it's like that part is like shitty. And then if if it's the best case scenario and it's nothing, then that's also shitty if you if you trash them. So waiting it for for the whole story to go through. I like that means what a lesson. Well, that's a beautiful means she's got it. So no more Jetslander going forward. Oh, OK, yeah. OK, I'm sure she would agree to that. I'm sure she's listening right now. And this is the most important thing that she's hearing is that, hey, if you could take one thing away from this entire experience is that please stop being mean to the Jets for memes. Right. Yeah. And the eagle. And the eagle. Yeah, Max, what's your thoughts on this? Max wasn't going to say anything anyway. So he's not he's not sitting in the chair. But I will tell you exactly what Max's reaction would be. He just covers ears and and like wish himself out of the room. Zach. With just not enough information, I wish everybody the best. Yeah. Yep. There you go. Oh, I actually did have a. I asked so I talked to Jerry and I said, please give us because he was like, I don't think anything's going on. I was like, well, just give me a statement. So here's his statement. Wait, is this his actual statement? Guys, as the only real celebrity affiliated with part of my take. I can say I don't think these two are hooking up. I analyze the picks. It's a light hug followed by being lounge chairmates. After a brutal winter, all you want to do late March, early April is catch some vitamin D. What is coach supposed to do? Strip down and sit on the other side of the pool. They ran into each other, laid out, ordered a burger and talked AJ. I do not think they're paying. That's the Jerry O'Connell's official statement. OK, yeah, because I was I called Jerry and he's like, do I need to? Am I gone too far? I was like, no, dude. I don't I Jerry's Jerry always is like, guys, he texts me. Jerry's the king of going too far and then being like, hey, did I go too far? And me and Biggitter was like, no, we don't. Jerry's also the king, which I love him to death, but he'll text me and PFT being like, is this OK to post? And for one, the answer has always been yes. We've never said no. And two, we don't ever respond before it actually gets posted. Like I he he texts us and after he texts us, he posts it. And then we say yes, but it's already been posted for five minutes. So he's not actually asking us. But he does the I think he does the appropriate thing, which is he, in theory, checks with us. Yeah, which again, it's always yes. But it's always you don't control Jerry. It's always he's our fantasy, fantasy. OK, let's kick it back to ourselves earlier in the day. We're talking Michael Malone. We got Bull's front office, hot seat, cool throne, Shane Bacon, Max Homa. Guys, FAQs. Incredible show, emergency breaking moves ended. OK, Michael Malone. Congrats. He I. Michael Malone is the new head coach for North Carolina Tar Heels. Very good basketball coach. I believe that this was a direct response to the pressure we were putting on UNC with John Fenton. Now, the timing is not a coincidence. But also I've seen multiple sources say that that Michael Malone is considering bringing Fanta on as an assistant coach. Tom Kreen. Tom Kreen said a great guy. There was somebody in John Fanta's pregame spaces said the exact same thing. Love that. And I think it's a great idea. Michael Malone, really good head coach. Yeah, really good basketball coach. It does feel like, oh, shit. Dusty May said no. Tommy Lloyd said no. Billy Donovan's waiting to the end of the season in the transfer portals opening. And Brad Stevens has said no five times. Yeah. We think it's actually, you know, so the I don't know how this way. I feel like it's either going to go. I don't think it's going to go middle of the road. Does that make sense? No, he's a he's a really, really good basketball coach, but like college basketball is I think it's to be a disaster or they're going to win a national title. And I don't think they're going to make the tournament, make a sweet 16 and like he'll coach for multiple years and it will be like kind of middle of the road. I just don't of all the connections that we we the stupid connections we like to do. My favorite was back in the day when when Mark Tresman was hired by the Bears and people were like, do you know that Jay Cutler went to a QB camp that Mark Tresman was one of the coaches at when he was 17 years old. I was like, well, they probably know each other. No, it doesn't matter at all. Hiring a guy because his daughter is on the volleyball team is quite something. It's like he likes the university, apparently. He you know that he's he'll be committed for at least the next two years. And maybe it's like UNC like, hey, he's paying us. Yeah, I think it's technically you're getting like a twenty thousand dollar a year discount on Michael Malone on what Michael Malone on the street would go for. It's crazy, though. It's absolutely crazy. I don't I don't know if I don't think it's going to work out. I don't know. This is this also if you're if you're UNC fan, you've got to stay optimistic, obviously. But there's probably also a part of you that's like, what is the what is the the final dying days of a blue blood? It's hiring an NBA coach, Mike Woodson, going to Indiana. So that was like the that was like the death rattle of a blue blood. Oh, yeah. But coach Cal going back when he went back to Memphis. Well, yeah, but he's like, he was always a college coach. I'm saying like an NBA guy going to, you know, Cal was always college. That was he was more it was more weird that he went to the NBA. Then you know what I mean? Right. This is a big time Larry Brown move. Yeah, Michael Malone is a NBA coach. Yeah, Woodson was an NBA coach. I know that there's college in there, but that's what they were known for. And then so yeah, I looked at his resume yesterday when they made the announcement. So I was like, maybe he's got a college pass that I was not I was not aware of. Last time he coached in college was 2001. He was an assistant at Manhattan. He was also an assistant at Providence from 95 to 98. And then he was the director of men's basketball administration. Yeah. At the University of Virginia in the ACC in 1998, 1999. I have no idea what that job description was in 1999. I'll tell you what it was. Michael Malone, if you want to. And again, we like him. He's a nice guy. I'm hoping it works out because I want UNC to be good because I want them to beat Duke. I'm going to root for UNC. I should have a little skepticism, healthy skepticism. But Michael Malone's college basketball coaching resume can be summed up in that's a phone number that Rico Bosco would love to have back in the day. He would have definitely been chasing Michael Malone. Direct all around Final Four. The Dovo. I got the director of ops for for what was the colleges, Virginia and then what else? Well, he was an assistant at Providence, assistant at Manhattan. Yeah. And he was Dovo, director of basketball operations at UVA. Yeah. So that would have been one that would have been a prime Bosco. Yeah. It's like he cuts up the film. Yeah. So he gets the blob sets before the coaches even get the bomb sets. The one thing that I did see on his resume. I forgot this. He was the Serbian national coach. Oh, yeah, that's right. So maybe that's not actually right. Maybe he's going to spend some time. Oh, they might be croutin. Good catch. PFT. They actually think that I think this might have just changed into it might work. I think UNC might be croutin over in Eastern Europe. Fuck, I'm going to have to think about that. Mm hmm. I would love. Yeah, I want UNC to be good again. Colors are cool. Colors are cool. I like that little ram. Oh, I got a question. Yeah. Watching the Wolverine everywhere this week, all the old timey drawings of the Wolverine mascot, same type deal with the old UNC mascot. What is that little hat that all the old mascots wear in the illustrations? It's almost like a navy hat. Yeah, I know what you're saying. Like, do people ever actually wear that hat or was it only reserved for college mascots? I feel like it's one of those things that like it was like the FCC back in the day. It's like, you have to put this little hat so people know that the mascot is a mascot. And so that they know it's not real. Yeah, they know it's not a human. Yeah. So it doesn't get shot if it's out in public. Yeah, because if you're if you're if it's like 1930 and you open the newspaper and you see that, you're like, oh, my God, are they it's an invasion? Yeah. What are these Wolverine looking humans running around? Nope. Look, the mascot hat. Yeah, they're like, oh, is that is that the Irish? Are they here? No, no, it's no. Don't worry, it's got a hat, darling. Yeah. OK, other news. The bulls. Cleaned their entire front office out. Firing AK firing Mark Eversley, the bulls. So here's where we're at. The the bulls deserve credit. Michael Ryan's or Jerry Ryan's or the bull's ownership. They deserve credit for doing the most obvious thing possible because they're such bad owners that there was actually some doubt that they might not fire these guys. OK. So I before you go any further, I got a question for you because it seems like in the past, when they've been good enough to make the playing game, that's when you wanted everybody fired. Yeah. Now they're bad enough where they are going to get a lottery pick. And now they're firing everybody because they tank. Well, no, these guys deserve to be fired. Just for the record, AK was one of, if not, no, he was definitely the worst GM right now in the NBA. That's I think that's actually you can't dispute that fact. The the the moves that were made and he he had three months where he put together a roster that was number one in the East. And then for the next five years, talked about that roster with DeMar DeRose and Zach Levine. He traded a first round pick in Wendell Carter for for Vooch. He drafted Patrick Williams and then signed him to 90 million dollars. He basically is he he all these guys that were on the team. He traded them too late and got nothing for him. Like they traded DeMar DeRose and Vooch, Zach Levine, Alex Crusoe. And the only one number one pick they got back was their own. They got their own pick back from the king. Just absolute disaster of a front office, terrible scouting, terrible trades, terrible timing, everything you could ask for. They just didn't deliver any of it. But my point is that they're so bad. That it should have been it should have happened like a year ago or two years ago. And the fact that we got to this point and they finally did it. There's a lot of people congratulating the bulls and like being like, hey, you did it. I don't know if I can do that because the the bulls are still owned by the rhinestorps and they're cheap and they're not going to do the right thing. Not even on like the second Derrick Rose night. You know, it's like seventh right now. Yeah, that's that's the one thing they've done well here. Here are my wishes for because this is the thing that always drives me nuts. When and I think most people would agree with this when you have an ownership, like I understand with a salary cap and a league and there's, you know, taxes and all that shit. I get that, right? Like NFL, there's a salary cap, major league baseball, there's not so owners should spend money. The one thing that you're never capped on is how much money you spend on your front office and your scouting department. Like you should be spending all your money on that and being like, let's get the smartest guys to do the smartest thing. And so the bulls should go out and try to say Sam Presti. Here's any amount of money. You name the number. Brad Stevens got to make Brad Stevens say no, they have to. The bulls have to make Brad Stevens say no. I think you guys all agree. Yeah, always first. First thing they do for any job is make Brad Stevens say no. Yeah. What they're probably going to do is they're probably going to make Billy Donovan GM and then find the new cheaper coach and they're going to do it that way. They're going to go. How does that happen again? They're going to go with the Brad Stevens route. Yeah, that worked though. Yeah. What? Brad Stevens. Yeah. Yeah, they're just turning Billy D into the new Brad S. I like Billy D. But the idea that like we have to save Billy D, like we got to do everything to keep Billy D happy. Yeah. What are we doing? So that is what was so confusing for me is like you and C. Did they reach out to Billy Donovan? And he. Yeah. I think so. He the story is that Billy Donovan was not going to do it till after the season and UNC felt pressure after Dusty May said no and Tommy Lloyd said no. And the transfer portal was opening. They're like, we got to do something. But if this happened. Earlier, like, I don't know. I feel like Billy Donovan probably doesn't want to stick around this organization right now. Well, unless they give him a promotion, which they might. And he like it's just I'm happy that these guys got fired. They were the worst GMs possible. They were so bad. They they never had their plan change constantly where they're like, we'll have old guys and try to compete right now. Oh, no, we'll get young guys and and basically just draft the pick. Try to trade for anyone who is a lottery pick four years ago. I mean, the Jaden Ivy thing is one of the most embarrassing things you can do. And maybe that's the reason like, thank you, Jaden Ivy. You actually got them fired. But again, are these guys worse than Garpax? Yeah, which is crazy. Because yeah, I didn't think. Yes, worse than you would. Significant. You would take Garpax back in a second. I wouldn't take him back. But like those guys at least could scout. They put together some like good players. They drafted some good players like Patrick Williams was drafted and then given five years, 90 million. That is the that might be the worst contract in like all sports history. The guy is not good. And it's like you drafted him and then you're like, you knew he wasn't good. And then you're like, yeah, let's make sure we give him more money. So but at the end of the day, it's still the Ryan's Dwarfs. And I don't understand if you're if this is what I will never understand. Jerry Ryan's Dwarfs is 90 years old, 90 years old. You can't take it with you, Jerry. Why wouldn't you just spend all the money right now? I didn't get rich by spending money in the next five years and try to make one good last run at it. Like offer Sam Presti a godfather offer, offer him ownership. You just got money. You just got a big chunk of money from selling the white socks. You cannot take this with you. And Michael Ryan's Dwarfs is like, he's now he's now in like very firm fail son category where he's got to start making moves. Hopefully that's what it is. Hopefully Michael Ryan's Dwarfs feels the need to be like, I'm not. I'm going to have a better legacy than my father. I got to prove everyone wrong. And that will propel him to great. Does he have any any irons in the fire? Is he up to anything or is he just kind of waiting on his old man? Yeah, no, he's he's running the bulls. He is running the bulls. OK, so he's yeah, he is the he's in in charge. And the bulls are like the third. I think they're the third or fourth most valuable NBA franchise just based on Michael Jordan and and and being in, you know, the third biggest city. What like you have so much fucking money, dude. I just just spend it and make a team good. I don't I just cannot understand if I owned a team. I would spend all my money in hiring the smartest guys to do everything. I feel like this is this is setting up for the bulls to get a great lottery pick. Yeah, it might be this setting up for reset. Would you guys not do the same? Would you not be like, hey, I'm going to hire the smartest guy? I yeah. Well, no, initially, I would fuck everything up real bad. Yeah, like I would be I would be terrible at at owning a team for probably about 10 years. And then after 10 years of fucking everything up, I'd yeah, I'd probably just say, hey, I'm going to delegate basically my entire job and I'm just going to show up and go to games. Right. But it would take me 10 years to fucking up. Jerry Ronson, if it's had way longer than 10 years. Yeah, the one the one problem with what everything I said is that a lot of the owners, majority of the owners have huge egos and you see it all the time where the guys don't want to have someone else. Like the owner doesn't want to be the guy who's like, oh, yeah, he's a great owner, but really it's just the GM that he hired and he's the the genius. But I wouldn't care. I wouldn't either. I would not care. I wouldn't either. You really. But it always happens. It always came like when Theo came to the Cubs, that's what happened at the end of that. Like who gets credit? Would not care. No, at all. Like that's kind of the that's kind of the goal of the entire thing. Right. If you're an owner, you're not a GM. That's not you can you can take credit for like running a good organization like Robert Kraft, I'm sure one day he'll he'll get into the Hall of Fame. That also like how that ended. Right. That was like, yeah, who's who's going to get credit? But I feel like, yeah, the owner usually does. If the team is good, the owner will get the credit. Be like he runs a good organization, good for them. But nobody will ever be like, yeah, the owner did a great job of assembling this roster. Yeah, I just wish the Bulls had done this before the season and actually tanked correctly. Well, I mean, they essentially did. They started five and oh, and everyone was like, oh, shoot. How far off are you? We might have to do another sim. We're we're I think going to were the ninth. But it's just like so stupid. You have this incredible draft. You're going to have to strip it down to the studs. You let these guys fuck around and put together a good enough team that wasn't fully tanking. Do another sim. Do one more. Bulls got bad. Sim, terrible, really bad. Wizards got five. It was nine for the bad. Shut up. Oh, Maverick's good. Maverick's got the first. And yes, yes. Yeah, good for them. Good. No, leave it there. That's that's going to happen. That would be such bullshit. That's going to happen. January 6th. One more. I swear to God. One more. OK, you take that. PFT. That takes second. Yeah, one more. Booser. Yeah, yeah. Just do it till the bulls get like top four. How many how many times is going to take? No, no. There you go. Yeah. All right. Third, I take third. Who'd you pick third? A cup. Yeah. I want to watch fun basketball. I call it. Hey, memes. I call him Derri's A cup because he's still developing. Yeah. But yeah, you guys, you guys understand what I'm saying. When it when it like when your bad owner does something good, you want you want to give them credit for doing something good. Someone like can do last night. They're like, it's it's essentially like your four year old peeing in the toilet and not peeing at all, peeing all over the the the toilet seat and on the floor. You're like, great job. But really, that's what you're supposed to do. OK, here's the real job of an owner. This is really all you have to do. Yeah. Have an exhaustive process where you hire former general managers that have had a lot of success and you hire them to hire your general manager. Yeah. After you get that recommendation, you hire a general manager and then you let your wife start a charity that you then support. And that's all you do. And then you go to games. Yeah, that's it. Yeah. That is the job. And then you let the general manager take care of everything. You make up you invent jobs for your children. And then your wife runs the charitable foundation and you just go to dinners and you go to every game and you make you look at your bank account once a year. And you go on a cruise every fucking winter for a month. And you're like, yeah, oh, my honey, my basketball team just appreciated by seventy five million this year. That's nice. Yeah. OK, let's get to hot seat. Cool to run. Thank you for letting me vent, guys. But I, you know, it's like, hey, we took one good small baby step forward. Now you got to keep going. Just keep doing it. Keep doing it. All right. Hot seat, cool, thrown. OK, before we get to hot seat, cool, thrown twisted tea. Twisted tea is a refreshing hard iced tea made with real brood tea and five percent alcohol. Twisted tea is the perfect drink to keep the good times going all day and all season long, whether you're hanging out at a friend's house, catching a game at the stadium or at the bar or day drinking with friends. I love that half and half twisted tea. Man, it hits the spot. Go get a twisted tea today. Summers right around the corner. The weather's starting to break. Sunny days goes perfect with the twisted tea. So grab a refreshing twisted tea today. Hank, hot seat, cool, thrown. My hot seat is Roman Anthony. Oh, we talked about the Red Sox struggles a little bit earlier in the show. They're two and eight as of this recording. Our guy Shane tried to tried to dunk on me during the season preview about me being down on the Red Sox, going into the year. I turned out I was right. There's, you know, sell sell the team chance going on. John Henry, there's a video of him like reacting where he was trying to figure out what the fans were saying. And then he goes, oh, sell the team, which I was. Oh, he like, he mouthed it. Yeah. Yeah. He was like, you could see him like kind of listening. And he goes, oh, sell the team. Oh, he was not ready to. He did not think that's what they were saying. Yeah. Very funny. And then Roman Anthony, world baseball classic hero, but he. Has been he's become a mean, basically, if he can't, he just can't throw anyone out from left field. Oh, no. I have one just running on Roman. Shane tried to tell me he was he was great last year, but he was playing right field. Now he's playing left field. He's probably going to be getting a lot more DH reps. So that it's just not good when you're this early in the season, early April and like the one of the main things, maybe it's just because my algorithm, but all I see is just don't run on Roman. You're just a joke because you can anyone can run on Roman. You are also an anti. I said it, there's a there's a throw he had last night where he threw like Billy football at Stu finders. Yeah. Yeah. And you also are anti-Italian. So you were true predisposed to hate a guy named Roman. No, I'm pro row, but. Are you? Yeah. Doesn't seem like you are. I am. I'm saying he's on the hot seat. I'm just saying. Let me see this again. Go back. Oh, my God. Yeah, it's pretty bad. A terrible throw. Would you rather have Manny playing defense? Yes. Like even I'm not talking about with the bat. I'm just mean like defensive Manny. Yeah, it's fun. That's it. It is funny. Like I used to love it when Manny Ramirez was just. And you could play. He could play the monster. He was good. He was going to play in the monster. He would like be a cut off man, like 10 feet away from a guy in the outfield. Just a legend. So bad vibes all around bad vibes all around. Do you think that they're going to sell the team? I don't because it makes money. Yeah. Yeah. Why would you if you then? Yeah. Why would you sell the team? That is the only way I talked to Dave, but he was he was trying to pick my brain the other day about like my my battles back and forth Dan Snyder and how it eventually happened. I was like, listen, the bottom line is you just have to hope that they start to lose money somehow. And with Boston, I don't see. I don't see fans like stopping going to Finway Park. No. I mean, it was like a 10, 15 year process, maybe even longer than that until it started to hit like Snyder's pocketbook in DC. But eventually he got there. I don't know what money wasn't really the issue. Right. It was it was double. It was like he was a sex scandal. Yeah, sex, past serial scandal and but also the money like the money does make a difference to these guys. But if the sex past serial scandal didn't happen, he probably still owns the team. Possibly. If the yeah, yeah, it's a good possibility. But it did get to the point where like he had he had sponsors pulling out that had to do. I don't think the sponsors would have pulled out if it was just the sex stuff and the team was making money like they had good ticket sales. Yeah, it's like a combination. But yeah, it does. It sucks because it feels like the Red Sox just don't want to they don't care about winning and as corny as it sounds, I do think that baseball is better when the Red Sox are competitive. For sure. Mm hmm. OK. My cool throwing a spaceship. Yeah, I was it was on my hot seat. But yeah, shout out. Go ahead. Out of here. Everyone's talking about the the Artemis too. Yeah, yeah. They're they they traveled farther than any mortal being has ever traveled. Yeah, from Earth. So that was cool. The pictures are cool. Was it? Yeah. Are you a hater? You a space hater? I kind of just don't care until we go to Mars. I mean, Mars is cool. This I want to go to Mars. I don't know. I just get call me when we're at Mars. I cared a little bit because we're that we got to progress. Yeah, I guess we got to go farther and farther and farther. I want to go to Mars. I want to go to Mars. I want to appreciate what's in front of us. This is cool. This picture is cool. But I would like to see Mars. I don't know. I just want to see Mars. This picture might also be AI. OK, no, it's not. It's from the NASA account. I think this one's from Hubity. Yeah, yeah, I think that might be AI. Oh, no, Max. I don't know. Maybe this is not a video of the moon. It's close up of the camera movement on a flipped image of the moon. So I maybe I think it's kind of cool because we are as far away as we've ever been. I think it's cool because we have gotten to see like a new generation of flat earthers trying to figure out how to explain their way out of this one. Those pictures are cool. Funny. I'm down for that. I'm just saying like maybe I just maybe I just expect more out of us. I'd like to go to Mars. Yeah, it would be fucking badass if we got some more. This one's from the White House. OK. That's a picture. Also the photo photo NASA. This that's a cool picture. All right, fine. You know what? Cool, cool pictures. I just also. All right, here's my problem. Go to Mars or go back on the moon. I think they were going on the moon. I think we're going to go back to the moon. All right. So if we go back to the moon, I'm in. We're going to do a base on the moon. I want to see us on the moon again. We've never been back on the moon. How is that possible that we went on the moon in the 60s and we just never went back on it? Maybe we never went in the first place. Thank you, Hank. That's what I'm saying. I want to see us on the moon. We will we want the space race. Right. It was like suck it, Russia. In your face, Khrushchev. They said a flyby. I want to see us on the moon. I don't think there's a lot happening on the moon is a thing like I. But it's still but don't like. Isn't it crazy? We just went on it and never went back. We should build a fucking golf course on the moon. That'd be sick, too. Yeah. I mean, honestly, like I'm going to take NASA's man card for for setting this expedition up during March Madness, like wait until the end of the tournament. I guess I'm just a dreamer. Sounds like you're not the only one. Sounds like you're not. No, I am. I want to go. I want to go deep. I want to go far. This mission was to test the ship and find the landing area. OK, so then when they can then now be sick when we go on the on the on the moon. I'm I'm fucking in for that. I don't really understand any of what they're doing or how we're getting there. But it is kind of cool that it's the furthest that it's ever been. Yeah, that humans have ever been. You know, be further. Mars, Mars. I would like to see Mars, too. Hank probably wants a football game on Mars. Yeah, he does. He wants Super Bowl on Mars. Yeah. For sure. I mean, Roger could definitely be like Jaguar's, you're going to Mars. Oh, yeah. And then you have and then you got to play the chief. Someone I football next week. Dude, can you imagine? Yeah. No, the chief's playing a home game on Mars. Yeah. Good luck. OK, good hot seat. Cool. Throne, Hank. Thanks. Great job, Hank. Great job. Yeah, my hot seat was going to be Flat Earthers, but instead I'll pivot. My hot seat is going to be the real Olympics. Because we have an update on the enhanced games. Yes. Oh. One of my favorite topics in the last year. Oh, yeah, it's real. It's real, real, Hank. Did you see that the vaping protein was fake? Oh, that was a fake story. I got got. That's OK. Well, it's a good idea. I got got. It's not real, but I would I would like for it. What Max? How come it's OK if PFT gets caught, but it's but we laugh at Max. World, world. Yeah, I'm dumb. OK, that's their point. Fair point. Count all around. Old and dumb. Yeah, all around. Yeah. So I want to say like as a as a podcast, I got got a couple of weeks ago, the rick, Patino quote was fake. Which one about digging the graves? Oh, yeah, I'm going to go in it. I just want to say as a podcast, like maybe this is a disclaimer at the start. We get got. It's OK. That's just what we do. I get got got like hourly. Yeah, we should just be like be OK. Like I'm OK with just being a guy who like if you if I read something, if someone tells me something, I'm just going to take it as face value. She's like, yeah, OK, that's real. And then I'll just tell it to everyone else. Let's just get got. You don't like that? No, I'm kind of with Max. So like I I I posted what I thought was like a really heartwarming video. Oh, well, that was really stupid. The whales getting cleaned. Yeah, that was really dumb. That was you just. It wasn't really. Yeah, a guy was driving. That's totally different. He was driving like a front end loader on the face of an orca. Yeah, that's totally. I mean, I think Rik Patino quote was like he could say that you had a fucking John Deere on top of a whale. It looks like it really needed it. Yeah, yeah, Rik Patino has done weirder stuff than that. Yeah, come on, Hank. But so I guess I got got by the vaping thing. I still think that somebody should make it. I think that's a great idea. Like Joe might be on them for inventing it as April Fool's gag. And then somebody else steals their billion dollar idea. Actually, let's have our product team. Just take a look at that. I feel like Barstool Sports could we got a good demographic for that here. But the enhanced games just got valued at one point two billion dollars. And the enhanced games, you might recall, are the the steroid users alternative to the Olympics, the all steroid Olympics, where anything that you can do to your body is fair game for bodybuilders, weightlifters, swimmers, sprinters, etc. It's being run by Peter Thiel. So it's definitely not a scam and it's absolutely good for the world. And our guy that we did the podcast with, Hank. Remember that, Boz? Yep. Boz was telling us about enhancing the bodies and how it's like a gateway towards future scientific innovation. So first you get like little implants in your eyeballs so you can read greens better. Yeah. And next thing you know, we're half man, half cyborgs, and we're breaking 50 on the golf course. I got I love it. So yeah, it's one point two billion dollar valuation, which is it sounds like it's a fake valuation because it just sounds good to say one point two billion dollars. But they're trying to find a home for like broadcasting it this year. I'm excited to see these freaks and like how fast they can run, how high they can jump. I'm going to I'm going to pay at least a little bit of attention to it. Yeah, absolutely. I want this. I this this would be like must watch. Yeah, absolutely. Now, the funniest part is when you look on the website for the enhanced games. They changed the website a little bit in the last couple of months because there was one page that was like a guide to coming out as enhanced to your parents because they're saying that people that have been doing steroids have been living in shame for too long. Yeah. So it was like a guide of how to explain to your folks like like almost like you're coming out of the closet, but you're coming out of the closet being like, hey, yeah, I take steroids, mom and dad. Yeah, I hope you still love me. Yeah. But it's a very funny website, very funny concept. I will be watching some of it. Yes, absolutely. And my cool throne. I'm going to go with mock drafts. Mock drafts is mock draft season officially. It is as as the the seasons change. And we close the page on college basketball. A new page opens up and that is 2026 NFL mock drafts with trades, which is a great time of year. My favorite getting mad at mock drafts. This early is so fun to do. And yeah, so let's see on ESPN. We got sunny style. Is it Shragers? Shrager. Oh, I mean, Shrager. Zergot. He hangs out with every coach. Yeah. Sunny styles to the commanders. I would like that very much. Who do we have going to out on this Caleb downs to the Cowboys? Do we have a problem? Ty Simpson creeping his way back up into the first round. Jets take Omar Cooper, Jr. at 16. You like that. How do you grade that means? I'll take it. I give sunny styles and a also who got the bears taken. Eagles got Denzel Boston at 23. A round gone. No, it doesn't mean that. Yeah, it's us. Wide receiver factory. OK. Keep it real. Denzel Boston sounds like an awesome nickname for a proctor. He's on the Patriots. OK. Massive humanity. I like that. Yeah. So there's been how tall is proctor like six, seven? He's a massive humanity. I loved it when when he would just get the ball. They'd throw like a little wide receiver screen to him. But anyways, I'm excited to look at all the mock drafts because it means that football is coming back. And it means that the draft's getting closer. Shout out Pittsburgh, not making the kids go to school. You get to stay home with the drafts in town, baby. Yeah. But yeah, we have seen a number of mock drafts. Steven Shea put out his mock draft as well today. It sucks. Don't read it. But all the mock drafts are coming out. Yeah. And I'm reading all of them. And it was funny because last year I was not at all into reading mock drafts. And I think at one point, big cat, I said to you, like, is it just me or like this draft doesn't have the same juice as it normally does? And then you realize that it's because maybe your your favorite team was good for one season. Yeah. And you've got to get the top 10. Yeah. And now I'm all the way back. Yeah. Now. Now I'm like, this is the most exciting draft, maybe ever. Maybe in the history of the NFL. Um, all right. My hot seat, funny that we were talking about it, because as I was as we were talking about getting got, I was about to do a hot seat where I got got. OK. What was it? It was the master's hats. The ones that that are going that like it looks like the master. It's like master's merch hats. And it just had like one that said Pimento on it, one that said now driving. And I was going to say, like, it's crazy that the masters are selling or selling these type of hats, but I don't think it's real. It is. Wait. Was it like the giant block letters? Yeah, this. Look. I don't I don't know. I think that's real. They're real. I don't like that. I think they're real. Help me out. The master shouldn't have hats that you could like that says like peach on it. Right. Pimento. Yeah. I don't know. Azalea. Maybe they are real. OK. I think those are real. It'd be funny if they were now driving once funny. Yeah. Yeah, but that's like not a master like you. Not if Tiger's where else. No, definitely not. You don't want him wearing that thing. You like those hats. I don't personally, but. And I just feel like the masters is like above that. Is that not is that they just want people they know people are going to be shopping. True women be shop. Women be shopping. Masters guys be shopping. That's true. I only saw one fake one. OK. It was like I got my ass eaten at Amon Corner. Yeah, that one is real. Yeah. 100 percent. Either way, I guess I mean, I shouldn't hate because I've never been in the masters. I don't know. I just don't know. I'd want I want to go see for myself to really. Yeah, you do. A judge boots on the ground. Yeah. I don't know. The Masters has such a cool logo and they're so like strict with it that like that's all they need. So they don't have any of the like giant block letters that you see for most of the golf courses now. These are like kind of tasteful and scripted. But still, I kind of agree with you. It's like this seems like they're doing a little bit too much. Yeah. The idea like I guess we're we're it feels like we're one one masters away from them doing the upside down letters and then I'm fully out. Who is the guy that that were Sun Devils upside down at the Masters last year? Oh, yeah. People were so pissed. He took a piss and raised Creek, right? Yeah, I'm actually like the Masters. I know I live the Masters might be the one. Is he nice? No, he's a fireball. The Masters might be the one tournament where I kind of love every one. Ballastroll really hard. Ballast there. You know, yeah. Like for the most part, like a guy taking a piss on a golf course, like who cares? But I just kind of love the Masters. Like you cannot do this. I love it. I was reading about the Masters. Every year I do this, I remind myself of like the different traditions they have there and how they do things just like completely, completely differently from every other golf course. They've got a team of like their staff wanders around the grounds, just looking for people that are about to throw away trash. Yeah, like as you crumple up a hot dog wrapper, whatever, a sandwich wrapper, they intercept, they come up to you and they're like, hand that to me, please. I love they have a zero trash policy. I love that. And then my cool throne is also the Masters because I saw this tweet. It was very funny. Me. It's a little Wednesday reading for you. This this just tells you how special the Masters are. This comes from JC Hoops, Jackson Collier on Twitter. He said, my dad got tickets to the Masters one year and took a friend of his. Apparently they were walking around the grounds, marveling at Augusta's beauty and what have you, normal stuff for a really cool experience. At some point they got hungry. So of course, went to get some food. Everything was inexpensive. Great. Part of the charm. My dad told his friend he had to get the pimento cheese because that's the thing to do with the Masters. His friends just said, OK, got a pimento cheese, wolfed it down and that was the end of it. That night back at their hotel, the friend got ill, like deathly ill, getting sick, fever, hives, the whole thing. They went to a hospital and the friend recovered enough for them to drive home. To this point, my dad still had no clue what in the world it happened. By the time my dad drops his friend off at his house back in Arkansas, he said to my dad, those pimentos will get you. This man was allergic to pimentos, ate the pimento cheese sandwich. Anyway, and when my dad asked why in the world he ate the sandwich anyway, the friend responded with I wanted the full Masters experience. That's beautiful. That's awesome. Good to be like, I know I'm going to maybe go to the hospital, but we're at the Masters and I have to eat it. Yeah, respect. I had a buddy that did that with shrimp. He was allergic to shrimp, but once a year, he loved it too much. And he would just eat a shrimp and then just stab himself with the EpiPen. Be like, I got to take one for the team. You got to do it. You got to do it. So yeah, Masters, I mean, Masters Week is the best. We have Shane Bacon and Max Holmwood coming up. It is the absolute best. Hank, I heard a stat that the last like three or maybe four years, the person who won the Masters was the person that was in the lead in the FedEx Cup points at that time. Oh, yeah. This is this has happened with the Masters now. The it's it's like the NCAA can bomb vacation of of the Masters where I've seen a lot of people just be like, your Masters winners are going to come from these nine golfers and no one else. It's like, but you still got to pick one of the nine. Right. They're pretty tough. So yeah, this one is kind of a weird step because it's like based on the FedEx Cup points, which isn't like stroke, skamed or anything like that. Jacob Bridgeman is a really good putter. That's all I know about the guy. And then I think it's been like years and years since the person who won the last tournament before the Masters ended up winning the Masters. It's been like a very long time. I feel like that one's tough, though, with with Bryson, John Rom and Patrick Reed not factoring into that. Yeah. Mm hmm. And Camp Smith. Yeah. Oh, also hot seat since we're talking about Masters. And Brooks hasn't been able to play in all the events. Irish cuisine, because Rory was asked why he didn't go more Irish on his menu. And he said, I want to enjoy the dinner as well. Yeah. Yeah. It makes sense. That's pretty good. Like there's not enough cabbage. Yeah. Beans. Frank and beans beans toast. Whole whole tomatoes. Yeah, just beer. You should just on beer. A beer flight beer and potatoes. Yeah. Yeah. OK, Zach. My hot seat this week is going to be Sabrina Carpenter. Have you guys seen any of the new spring carpenter music videos out? I don't know. She made in the most respectful way possible spring carpenter may have dropped the hottest music video of 2026. OK, so why is she on your hot seat? Because I think it's appropriate to put her in the hottest seat possible. OK, before we go any further. How old is she? Old. A full adult like full adult. Yeah. Full adult like been an adult for at least three years. OK. Right. That's correct. Yes, sir. She's been an adult for like five, seven years, eight years. Almost happy birthday. That's a lot of adult. Almost happy birthday. Tons of adult. Yeah. Oh, you miss Little Sass's birthday, by the way. Well, he didn't fill out the fucking Excel spreadsheet. So tough. Tough Sass. Zach, how much how many times have you watched this video? Probably three. OK, that's good number. That's a healthy number. No skips. What's the best part? Top to bottom. Full video. As far as video goes. You got to get the whole video. I was talking video range. Like we're talking first second to like three minutes, 20 seconds. Is the top of the video better or is the bottom? You bottom guy. I think I was more so center. I was center focus frame. OK. That'd be that probably midscreen. You're what you're like. You're like middle school basketball, like guard the belly button. Yeah, can't go anywhere without his belly button. You ever have a coach tell you that? Oh, yeah, abdomen. Follow the abdomen. Lock in. Guard the belly button. Can't go anywhere without it. This is a good looking video. I got to I got to agree with you on that one. Zach. Yeah, that's good. She got she got good looking friends, too. Hmm. Shout to women. It looks like she's having shout out women. They're also famous. We love women. Who are famous friends? Madeline Klein and Margaret Kuali. I knew that, dude. You didn't let me fucking finish. They mad on Klein and Margaret Kuali. Can I tell you something? They they both look a little jealous of Sabrina. It's like they know that's the coolest. The star of the show. Energy. Yeah, yeah. They kind of like wish that she wasn't so hot. Yeah, if I saw those three, I would go up and I'd only talk to Sabrina. Yeah. And the other two be like, what's this guy's deal? It is a house drawing to Precac House. Just kidding. I wouldn't even go close to any of these women because yeah. I'd be very afraid, very, very afraid. Good hot seat. Cool. My cool. Throne this week is going to be Kansas City Royals player Cara Jensen. Yeah. Because earlier in the week or in previous days, he did oversleep, but since then has hit two home runs and he's five for eight. Nice. So he used it as fuel and kind of figured out how to contribute to the team moving forward. Love that. So sleeping in, not the end of the world. A lot of guys have been there and he was able to bounce back and I wish nothing but prosperity for him in the future. So how many times did he sleep in? On record, they've got one in this press conference. Okay. One time in this press conference he slept in. That is correct. All right. Now was it an alarm issue? Do we unpack that at all? Was he all night gaming? He did say that it was just an oversight with the alarm. He didn't wake up and then he's going to, you know, he recognizes mistake in this press conference and he's going to move forward. He's going to make sure it doesn't happen again is what he said. You did a very good video, Zach, explaining how this could happen. I'd send it to Vinny. There's a chance Carter Jensen saw your video and we're going to try to get him in the office when the Royals come to town. If he does see it, I hope that he was able to watch it and realize, oh, I'm not alone in this. It's going to be okay. And then you can move forward from this and you can grow. Representation matters. I agree. There's guys out there of all shapes and sizes that sleep in. Guys who've done it. Yeah. Guys who can hit, guys who can't hit. You haven't done it in a while. No. We're due for one. It's Q2. Spring's creeping up but we're just trying to be the best of our ability. When was the last one? It was sometime in February maybe. Yeah, we're due. We're due. We're due. Season's changing. Yeah. Can we talk and do weather's changing? Yeah, we're due. We're due. It's April. Yeah, Q2 started April 1 and I think you did have one in Q1. Yeah, so we're due. And you yourself said once a quarter. Yeah. Worst case, yes. But not show days. He's figured out show days. Love that. Zach, do you have any other, did you have any that you had on the list? The rest of the list was Roman Anthony in space. So we got, oh. Got all three of that. Same wavelength. Very nice. Also, shout out Jacob. He hit up the group chat with a little bit more explanation of what's going on with this moon mission. Okay. So we're going back to the moon in 2028. This mission is to test the ship, find the landing area. Okay. So we're scouting. We're scouting. All right, so you know what? I'm back in. I'm back in. Yeah, we're going back. Because I thought we were just going for a drive-by. I wasn't interested in a drive-by. I want to go on there. And then I want to go to Mars. Is that fair? Completely, yeah. Okay. What are you watching, Hank? Oh, I thought you were watching something. I thought maybe it was like, I'm very nervous about Frankie Fleetwood. So I thought it was maybe the part three. Part three is Wednesday? Wednesday, yeah. Now, one thing we got to talk to Max about later. You're able to see everybody's practice range session. Like I can go up, I can look up Max Homer's, like every swing that he took on the practice range today. Okay. That feels a little personal to me. Yeah. That feels like an invasion of privacy. Yeah. We'll have a word with Max Homer. Can you hear? No, but it tells you like the ball speed, how far it went, where it went. He was leaking his drives a little bit to the right. Oh, no. Maybe intentionally. Maybe intentionally, yeah. I don't know what he's aiming at. Yeah. It's like when I was doing mini golf, I was trying my hardest. Try my hardest. Just try me hardest. Try my hardest. Okay, let's get to our interviews. We got Shane Bacon and then Max Homer. Before we get to Shane Bacon, he's brought to you by State Farm. Okay, we now welcome on a very, very, very, very special guest, recurring guest, one of our favorites this time of year because golf is back. The majors are back. Masters week. We have Shane Bacon on the show and he is going to be part of the feature groups on masters.com this week. So definitely tune in. Shane, before we talk about golf, apologies to you. You're an Arizona Wildcat. That was disgusting. Not great. Never great whenever they play their worst game of the year on that level of stage. I will say the bacon curse, if you will, is over. I went to Arizona in 02. And I went there between there and Syracuse because of the basketball team. If you remember that was the year Syracuse won the national championship. And Arizona had still never made a final four until this year. So it was finally nice to see them get to the final four. Yeah, they got back and now the coach doesn't have a boss anymore. So that's good. Yeah, you're good. Tommy Lloyd. Yeah, he could just do whatever he wants. I heard some rumblings in the background about that that it wasn't great. So I am very happy Tommy's staying around and the hopes that maybe next year we can keep the run going. But man, I love this team so much. It was such a bummer they got smoked like that. It is the worst when a season, a special season ends like that. All right, so Masters Week. And now I have another question that's not about Masters Week, but it's obviously the biggest story right now in golf is Tiger Woods. Obviously we saw that he's going to get hopefully some help. He gets arrested for the DUI. He's also become the most popular meme in the world. That meme has him, him, the, I was just talking to the president, all of it's got, it's got shelf life. Like it's going to be around for a long time. But my real question is I heard all this stuff like Tiger was about to be the Rider Cup captain. Tiger had, you know, he's going to play at the Masters this year. Is all that just on pause or is it maybe more significant that it's like, hey, he's no longer going to be the Rider Cup captain. He's no longer going to be doing all these things. Well, I mean, the rumors about Tiger being the Rider Cup captain, he's got a really good relationship with the guy that owns a dare man or where they're playing next year in Ireland. I mean, they've been friends for a long time. So I think there was a little bit of kind of a handshake in the background of maybe Tiger being a big part of that, because obviously that brings more eyeballs to an event that already has a ton of eyeballs. But I'd heard Tiger didn't really want to do it. I mean, there's a lot of commitments. You see how involved Luke Donald is on the European side. It's basically become his life, right? And I don't think Tiger wanted to do a lot of the background media stuff, things like that. So I don't necessarily think he was going to do that anyway. I think he was definitely in the conversation potentially to kind of be the face of it, maybe have some people in the background kind of doing the workings that Luke Donald does on a day to day and week to week basis. But I think to your point, I think the pause is happening right now with the golf. I mean, obviously he's not going to play this week and he's taken time away and getting out of the country to work on himself and everything that's going on. That's not to say he won't play golf later this year. I mean, there's been a lot of talk around him potentially playing in the US senior open with an opportunity. Nobody's ever won the US junior, US junior amateur, US amateur, US open and a US senior. And Tiger is a big history buff in terms of the golf stuff. So I think there's a focus on potentially playing in that at some point this summer. But right now, just the focus on working on himself, getting better and obviously dealing with everything he's been dealing with. Yeah. And I do feel like for the last couple of years, if there's been any problems in golf, the solution has been like, we'll just get Tiger to do it. Right. Like whether it's bringing the live golfers back, figuring out what the PGA's next direction is, TGL or even the Ryder Cup. But just like Tiger is going to help out next time and everything will be perfect after that happens. Yeah, he's still such a force. So it's like as much as we want him to get better, it does leave a void in the golf world when he's taking some time. Yeah. I mean, I think there's a level of pressure on his shoulders right now to make sure you're continuing to do this stuff. I mean, he went from the guy that hit the golf shots to now be in the guy that's kind of making the decisions in the background and all of that attention and kind of background movement with the PGA tour and everything that's going on in terms of new scheduling and money moving around and signature events. I mean, you think about professional golf. I mean, this week, you know, is actually an outlier in terms of the focus simply being on golf and who's going to win and the excitement of watching a great golf tournament. But for the most part over the last three, four years, most of the attention, it almost feels like the off season with the NBA where right now we care more about where players are going to get traded than the actual product on the court. And I feel like right now with golf, there's been a lot of pressure with living the PGA tour. And now obviously that pressure has moved into what's the PGA tour going to look like in the future and how's the schedule going to lay out. And I think so many of these eyeballs and players kind of focus on Tiger to lead the charge. And we joke a lot about this in the background. I mean, you guys know this. You can be an excellent golfer or basketball player. Doesn't mean you're going to be a great coach. Doesn't mean you're going to be a great GM. And we've seen plenty of superstars fail in that department. And so you are leaning on a guy to be this, you know, business savvy dude to do all of these things when maybe it's not what he's great at. Yeah. So let me ask you, when it comes to like the Ryder Cup, like it's he's a football analogy. If you wanted to revolutionize offense, you want to find like the next wrinkle in the game, you don't necessarily hire a guy that was a former quarterback or a great player. You like Sean McVeigh. He was that young guy that had a different brain. You know, now a lot of the disciples from like his coaching tree into that analytics mode. Is there who's the golf nerd that has like the forward thinking analytics brain that could do for the United States? What Luke Donald's on? Yeah. I mean, the Europeans have Eduardo Molinari, who's probably a name you occasionally hear of. But I mean, a former professional golfer that has kind of become the stats guru for the European side. I'm not sure right now who that is on the American side. I think Paul A. Zinger was that to the previous generation. And I think the fact that they didn't keep bringing Paul back was a bit of a miss in terms of what the PGA of America could have done on the American side. You know, Zinger leaned heavily into people away from the game to kind of guide him in terms of coaching. But I'm not sure who that player is right now on the American side. I think we've kind of stuck players in their position. Obviously going with Keegan last time. I mean, there's a lot of talk around guys like Branstettiker and Stewart Sink potentially in terms of the dare manner. I wouldn't hate if they brought Zinger back and put him in that position to see what he can do now. But the one problem is the older you get, the more kind of distance you get from this generation. I think Zinger had a great relationship with those guys like Boo Weakley and Anthony Kim and those types of players. And I'm not sure he has that same relationship with these young 20 somethings that would in theory be on the team next year. Right. Okay. So this week, let's start with big picture. The weather looks incredible. I feel like this is the first time in a long time that it looks just immaculate. But the story I've already heard, it's going to be very dry. So break that down. Who is that going to help? And what does that mean when Augusta dries out? What type of players are going to have the advantage? I think more accuracy off the tee is going to be very, very big. I mean, that's not always the case at Augusta. You can spray it and get away with it. Tiger, not the straightest hitter off the tee in terms of driving the golf ball, even in his prime, obviously had a lot of success here. Phil Mickelson, much of the same, even Jordan Spieth, who got off to such a great start early in his career here. Not a really straight driver, the golf ball. So I look at players that can hit it straight and find a lot of fairways because you're going to get that 15, 20, 30 yard run out when you do find the short stuff. And then I think it just goes back to iron play. This is always a second shot golf course. This is always the guys that are the most styled and most confident with their iron play. Guys like Scotty, guys like Rory, guys like Colin Moricao. Obviously, if he's 100% healthy, I look at that level of player that'll have success because it's not necessarily going to be a birdie fest this week. I think this will be a lot more. Somebody shooting two, three under par is going to be a great score. And so I look more towards the great iron players and the guys that can find fairways over the type of players that can overpower the golf course. So you mentioned Scotty Schaeffler being a great iron player. He is, but he's been bad this year. His irons have, well, bad for Scotty. Very bad. Right. He's been like pedestrian. PFT, I'd say bad for a pro golfer. Bad bet. He's 82nd right now. Yeah. I mean, like he's average on the PGA tour this season with his irons. I mean, barely picking up shots against the field in terms of the Stroh's game metric with the irons. This is a stat that he's led each of the last three seasons on the PGA tour. I keep acquainting it to have Steph Curry started to miss free throws. And you kind of be looking around going, what's going on here? But the fact that he has been this inconsistent with the irons has been an issue. And it's the reason that the inconsistency has kind of followed him since that first win this season. So for Scotty to play great this week, the irons have to at least get a little closer to what we've seen in previous iterations. He doesn't have to be the best in the field, but he's got to be top 10 to have a chance to win this. But he does get the new kid. The kid bump. Yeah. Remy, Remy. Nine days ago. Remy might be a winner. So much. Remy lessons, two weeks old and already gone to the master. Remy's at Augusta. What's perspective? Like, what's the second layer of perspective, Big Cat? Like, you have three kids. What was your perspective after two? Mine changed after two. Yeah, I think two is definitely less stress. Because you just know the routine a little bit more. So I think that it's maybe not as much of a pop for him life changing. You already have a kid. You have your second. It's awesome. But it's also like, all right, we've done this. We know the playbook. So might not help him that much. I would agree with you on that. Yeah. Remy's probably the youngest. A minimal bump. Yeah, minimal bump. You think Remy's the youngest patron in the history of Augusta? Has to be. Man, that's a great question. We got to look that up. Is that what we're saying? Yeah. Two weeks? Nine days. 10 days. I'll dive into the history books. Yeah, maybe there's probably been a baby that's been born at Augusta. I would imagine that's happened one time. Yeah. Yeah. That's definitely happened. And you got to name that baby T. Olive. So out of the field this week, tell me if I'm crazy. But I have to bet on my friends. I always bet on Max Homa. Always bet on Brooks Kepka. I've developed a fascination with watching Jake Knapp swing a golf club. So I have to continue to bet on him. Does he have any chance at all? Because his swing, it's like you're meditating when you watch it. It's like Freddie Couples. It's beautiful to see. Does my guy Jake Knapp have any shot this week? You know, I think he has an opportunity. Do I think he's a top five favorite of mine? No. But I think he's definitely got a potential to do something. I do feel like we are trending towards a quote unquote random winner. Here at the Masters, you think about the recent trend in terms of all these superstars winning around here. I mean, you have two Scotty wins. You got John Rom in there. Obviously, Rory last season, there's kind of been this incredible run over the last few years of kind of big names winning here, much like what we see at the players. At the players. And we have seen at times random, you know, random players pop up and win. I like Jake Knapp a little bit. I like Auxay in terms of players off the board. I like Patrick Reed a lot again to potentially pick up a second green jacket. I actually have for you guys, I wrote down my five best case master scenarios. If you want me to go. Yes. Oh, yes. I love that. I love this. Okay. I thought about you guys as I did this. So at number five, I have Patrick Reed winning. I mean, it would be interesting. It would be fun. But I don't know if we've talked enough in terms of golf, especially with you guys about, you know, some of the players leaving live. I was doing the math live at one point had 13 major champions on their tour. I mean, obviously they've now lost two with bright with the Brooks leaving and with Reed leaving. And this guy leaves live and then he's just absolutely dominating the European tour. He's won twice, lost in a playoff. He's leading the race to the buy right now, which is basically their version of the FedEx Cup. So he's been the best player in Europe and he also has the best resume at Augusta basically over the last five years when you look at where he's finished came close last season. So Reed at number five again, I, it just, it would just be funny. Rory given Patrick Reed the green jacket. I think that would be something people at home would be interested in. Agreed. Yeah. Check your pockets. Rory after you put the jacket on him. Yes. All right. Number four, I thought of you guys. This is my all PMT final round. Brooks versus Max in the final pairing. PFT's got his kind of Donna, Donna Kelsey jersey going. Yeah. As he's watching the final round, I think that would be fun. Brooks trying to win a third different major. Max trying to exercise the demons from 2024. Is that best case scenario for you guys? I don't think I could watch like you talking about Donna Kelsey. I would be too nervous to see. Yeah. Yeah. Best case scenario for us is just one of those two wins. Like I don't, I have a guy. Do you want him to win by a lot or do you want it to be stressful? Win by a decent amount because then I would say actually win by a lot because then we can make t-shirts. Yeah. Good point. Yeah. I mean Hank would have the t-shirts ready to go before the, the term. Shane, are you familiar with that when uh, what year was this? 2020? Whatever date, whatever year it was. The rain. The rainstorm. John Rom's year. Yeah. The year John Rom won. Yeah. The rain fight. Yeah. The rain fucked us and I think Brooks was in the lead during the rain delay and then Hank made up, congrats Brooks t-shirts. And uh, from that point on just absolutely nothing good happened. Yeah. He did. He jinxed it. Do you have those shirts anywhere? Like is there anyone left? I could find them. I don't know. I, the way Barstool works is pretty much any team that wins a championship or is close like you kind of have to be prepared. So I was just, you know, Yeah. It was round three, but yeah. So yeah. So yeah. I was, you guys are on. Sunday. No, it wasn't. Saturday. No, it wasn't. It was on Saturday. Yeah. It was Saturday. He was in the final group on Sunday. It was Saturday. I know Saturday. And we all have futures on it. Either way, I like that you guys are. Yeah. Go ahead. I was just going to say, I like the way that you guys are on Hank for doing his job. I mean, Hank's doing his job. Oh, wow. Wow. Thank you, Shane. Can't exist to do my job in trouble. Don't do my job in trouble. Yeah. How much golf have you guys played today? Yeah. This is, I feel like something's up here. No, either way, I think that's the answer. I got, I got something for Hank in a little bit. I got something for Hank in a little bit that he's going to like. OK. But yeah, just get the shirts made now. Why don't you just get the shirts now? Brooks, 2026 Masters champion. And you don't have to sleep on it on Saturday night. Yeah. Easy enough. OK. So that eliminates Brooks' small contagion. All right. Number three, I got Gary Woodland winning. Obviously, I think this is the one that would be the most emotional. I'm sure you guys followed the whole journey at Houston with the brain surgery and PTSD. He obviously opened up about that. This guy is second on the PJ Tour in driving distance. This year at the age of 41, he's averaging 324 yards off the tee. Obviously played great last time out. Said it's the best he's played in his career. And a fun little sidebar for Gary Woodland. If you want a major, if you wanted Augusta, he'd have a major at Pebble in Augusta. Only Jack Tiger and Tom Watson have done that. So Gary Woodland kind of the feel good story in my list. Number two is speed being tied for the lead with nine holes to play on Sunday. Now, you're sick of him. I'm not on you with this. This is just, I just want it. I want it in my bloodstream. Big Cat, do you ever do stuff with your kids and you think back to when you were young and you think, like how the hell did I just do this stuff? I think about the trampoline a lot in this world. Like how was I so like easy going on the trampoline and now it makes me so nervous? Yes, definitely. Big time, big time. Yeah, trampoline is a big one. That's kind of how, yeah. Yeah, it's like, I do it a lot and it makes me, I feel uncomfortable. I used to do flips. Now, obviously I don't. I'm 42 years old. I feel this way about Jordan Spieth being in contention at a major championship. Like that's kind of like jumping on a trampoline as a kid. Like how did I go through this emotionally? How was I able to handle it? How did I go through the swings? And I just feel like this new era of golf fan needs to feel that at a major championship. So Jordan Spieth with nine holes to play, understanding what all that feels like, because it's not easy. It's not like he shoots even on the back and wins. Right. He'll make two birdies and an eagle and a triple and it'll be completely crazy. I thought you were going to go with the angle of like for Jordan Spieth. Like when he was younger, he was not thinking about how nervous he should be. And now when he plays, that's where his brain goes. He's like become a dad to himself on the course. Probably in some regard, he probably thinks a little bit about it. He's actually played pretty good golf this season, by the way. I think Jordan Spieth is, I mean, if there's such a thing as a champion, as a sleeper, I think Jordan Spieth is a relative sleeper considering it's been more consistent. It hadn't been great, but there's been more consistency. And then my number one scenario is Rory versus Bryson Sunday. Bryson wins. I just think that's a lot of fun. Rory Bryson again. I had a question about that because I actually think now that our beef is over with Bryson, it's been a couple of years now. I actually kind of like Bryson in this tournament. He was close. You know, he kind of blew it last year. He didn't finish second, but he blew it last year where he had a little stretch. He was like, hey, Bryson is going to maybe be contending here. And it was, you know, the Rory story took away from everyone else who finished below him. I feel like this is a revenge spot for Bryson. And maybe the dryness helps us. His shot game, his profile. I mean, if he, if he's in it straight off the tee, it can very much help him because he'll have, you know, he'll have short irons into the par fives, which will be extremely beneficial. Typically you got to dominate the par fives around Augusta national to contend and win, but I'm with you. I think Bryson's my pick big cat this week. I mean, the way he's played this season, a couple of top six finishes in his last two starts, obviously came close last year, but felt what Sunday at Augusta feels like when you have a chance to win. But I mean, he's won twice on live. And one of them was the playoff over John Rom where he hit a three wood from 290 to 12 feet in the mud to win. I mean, Bryson's playing great. And I'm with you. I think Bryson has a real opportunity to come back out and get it going once again. Do you think that the fact that Rory won last year makes it more likely that he'll be in contention again this year because he's kind of like playing free. He doesn't have to think about it all the time. Or do you think it's going to be more like a victory lap for Rory? I think it all comes down to Thursday PFT. I think with Rory, it's how he plays in the opening round. I mean, he's been dreadful, if we're being honest, on Thursdays in his career at the Masters. Hasn't shot in the 60s on a Thursday since 2018. His scoring average in the opening round and his last seven Masters, 73.14. I think Thursday tells us a lot about how engaged Rory is. Obviously, he wants to win. I mean, not many people have won back-to-back green jackets at Augusta. The last to do it was Tiger in 0102. I mean, I think he understands the history of it. But I think we'll see, obviously, the back injury. Who knows how he feels in terms of health wise. He'll tell us he feels great. But obviously, when you get under the gun, we'll see how he's feeling in terms of the physical nature of it. I kind of like Rory a little bit. I kind of lean a little bit on, could he freewheel it a little bit more? Obviously, I understand that if he plays terrible, who cares? I mean, it's not like we're going to be grinding Rory on Sunday night if he doesn't get himself in contention. But I think going out there and just being able to hit driver all over the place and maybe try to make a lot of birdies and an Eagles on a tough golf course could play into his hands a little bit more. Have they checked his drivers? Is he going to be allowed to use an illegal one like he did last year? I'm hearing it's legal at this point. But I mean, this is, we're recording this on a Monday. So who knows how bouncy it'll be. I'll be on a Wednesday. I have something else for you guys if you want to hear it. You let me know if you're ready for it. No, I love it. Let's go. So I wrote this today. These are holes at Augusta National that fit the personality of y'all's show. I like this shade. I thought you guys might be into this. So we're going to start at the 13th. Obviously, everybody knows the 13th. Fame par five, one of the most famous holes in the world. This hole is big cat, kind of the heartbeat of the program, keeps it on the tracks for the most part. Makes some incredible points at times. Can make some horrible points. Definitely. But I'd say for the most part, people look forward to 13. They love having big cat around. And he's just continued to rise in terms of popularity over the years. I think the 12th is max. Simple yet complicated. Can blow up on anyone at any point on any given day. I think you look at it and you see kind of this sweet little boy. Just like you look at 12 and you think it's a wedge or a non iron. Yet all of a sudden you're making a seven when you walk away. So 13 big cat, 12 is max. I like that. PFT, I got you at 15. I got you as the 15th, the par five, if you're okay with that. Yeah, I mean, yeah, sure. I thought you were going to pick a short one, but that's fine. Well, no, no, that's I think that that's low hanging fruit. I wasn't going to do that to that. Smart man. The 15th is a brilliant golf hole. And I find you a brilliant human being. Half the fairway is basically a no go. If you miss it on the left side, we saw Rory battle that last season. The green is really enticing. If you get cute, you can make a bogey. And there's a ton of history at 15. You think about the bridge PFT. I know you're a big history buff. So I feel like 15 is you. A couple of par fives are the big boys on the show. And then Hank, I look at you as the 14th hole. Kind of stuck between two superstars. Yeah, you have your moments all the time. I think the green is extremely underrated, much like I find you extremely underrated on this program. And I think there's some great stuff that happens at the 14th each and every year, especially with some of the whole locations over the weekend. So Hank is 14. I got Zach is seven. Kind of easy to forget about seven. Yeah, I feel like Zach. I mean, I know a lot of people don't sleep on this guy anymore, but early in his career, kind of easy to sleep on him. It's a sneaky hole. It's got better over time, much like Zach has. It's actually gotten longer and kind of more creative over time. I feel like Zach early on was every now and again, maybe once a week he pop in now, obviously he's on like these on YouTube all the time. I mean, I'm assuming he's probably got his own brand at this point. Probably got an agent. Zach, you got an agent or no? Agent list. Yeah. Have you been on the team? Yeah. For now. That's for now. For now. Wait till we get through this week. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I mean, people going to be blowing up the, blowing up the phone. So I got Zach as the seventh hole. I find Zach one of my, I find the seventh, one of my favorite holes at the golf course. And I find Zach, one of my favorite characters in sports podcasting. And then the 18th is memes because Let's go. We've had a lot of memes come out of the 18. Yes. Think about Scotty sitting down at 18 last year, all the winning moments, both the good ones and the awkward ones, the 18th is memes. So those are my breakdowns of the holes at Augusta national as you guys on the show. I love it. And also I want to say thank you Shane, because you should have seen memes as smile there because he was, you know, in the back of his head, he's like, and he's going to forget me. Is he going to make me, you know, the Hooters parking lot at Augusta? No, you get 18 memes. There you go. So that was great. I love that hole where everything, where all the action happens. Hardest tee shot in golf. You basically just did like a children's book for how to learn about Augusta for us. You talked to us like we're four years old and we loved it. You dumb it down as much as possible. Like you are, you truly know this show. The two ways to explain something to us is dumb it down and compliment us. And we'll be like, oh, shit, we know that. Also like maybe show a picture of boobs while you're saying it. Yeah. Yeah. That was great. So tough to do tough to do this week. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So let's let's let's break down real quick. Can you maybe give us like, so your pick amongst the favorites and then a couple long shots and why maybe state a case on why they could potentially win it. Yeah. So I mentioned Bryson, he's going to be my pick this week. I was kind of leaning heavily on Patrick Reed for a long time with the way he got out of the gate, but I'm just going to go Bryson. I think this is his year. He's one of those guys that seems to get better as he understands golf courses. He played great. I mean, you forget how good he played as an amateur, you know, when he won the U.S. amateur and then played here alongside Jordan Spieth. I think that was 2016. I mean, he had a chance to be near the top of the leaderboard through 36 holes. I think he made triple on 18 on Friday afternoon to kind of lose steam and then a finished low amateur that week. But Bryson is a history buff and loves this place and understands the importance of it. I think there's added incentive to go out there and do it considering what happened last season. You know, to exercise the demons, if you will. I mentioned Patrick Reed though. You know, listen, we love watching dudes bomb it off the tee. Brooks, Bryson, Rory, guys like that. Patrick Reed is a bit of a throwback in terms of the way he does it. Doesn't hit it really straight off the tee. As I mentioned earlier, kind of important to find fairways this week. But I go back to the Zach Johnson Masters when he won. This golf course played really, really tough. You've got to pitch the ball well if you're going to get around Augusta when it plays firm. And I think Patrick Reed has some of the best hands in the world. And I think the way he's played this season, he's got a ton of confidence. I don't love the new sponsorship. I don't love rolling into a new week with a new sponsor hat. But I don't think that stuff affects Patrick Reed. I like Patrick Reed with the potential to win. And as I mentioned, Akshay, you know, he has a lot of fairways. Akshay is not super long, but he drives it incredibly straight. He's a left-handed golfer. A lot of lefties have had success around Augusta National. And the putter this season has been incredible, even outside of the victory. He's playing some of the most consistent golf of anybody in the world. So I'd say Akshay is kind of my pick down the board, if you will, and Reed and Bryson are near the top, who I like this week. Okay. I like it a lot. I have a question for you about a controversy at Augusta this year. The gnomes. This is the last year that they're selling the gnomes at Augusta? Oh, no. What happened? Why are we taking the gnomes off the market? I thought they were wildly popular. You know what? You present them to people. You see them get popular. People love them. They get obsessed with them. Then you move on to something else. That's what the masters does great. They don't stick with one thing. They're always introducing new food. They got a candy bar this year. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll try it out. What? Today I'll go back and let you guys know how it is. They're making their own candy bar? Back up. You can't just go. How did you not lead the show with that? New food item. Candy bar? They made a candy bar? New food item called candy bar. Wait, it's called candy bar. It's a candy bar. No, no, no. It's called candy bar. That's the name of it. Candy bar. But is it a candy bar? Candy bar. God damn it. Candy bar named candy bar. That's awesome. All right. So here's what I'll do. How come nobody thought of that before now? I've got to see if they can ship it. I mean, you know, I mean, I think the peach ice cream sandwich is such a winner every year that they don't lean heavily into the sweets. But I'll see if these things can ship. And if so, I'll grab a few and ship them to the fellas, and you guys can let me know how the candy bar tastes. Yeah, it would be amazing. I think it's dark chocolate. I don't like dark chocolate. Oh, dark milk chocolate blended with caramel, rice, crisp, and hazelnut crunch. You don't like milk chocolate? You talk about sweets every show. No, I don't like dark chocolate. I said dark chocolate. Dark chocolate. I don't like. I like milk chocolate. OK. Yeah. OK. So I like dark chocolate and no chocolate. You eat dark chocolate, though, even. I will eat dark chocolate. I'm not saying I'm not going to eat it, but I just don't. It's basically medicine. Dark chocolate will cure you of a heart attack. Yeah. It's super healthy. Yeah. It's very healthy. Yeah. So we had a candy bar. No, no. I saw that the gnome was being sold for like $10,000 on eBay. So my thought was that. The popularity of these things is wild. My theory was that the fine people at Augusta National saw people freaking out over this gnome so much, and they said, this is a bit much for Augusta National. People are acting like wild animals for these things. It's too popular, so we're going to take it away. I think it blew up. I will say that the, did you guys see the umbrella like comes off and you can adjust it for the 2026 iteration of the gnome? Yeah. That's attention to detail. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I think you can only get one this year as well. I think that's a new rule. So they're obviously kind of, they understand the popularity. Listen, they've got their finger on the pulse with what's going on in the merch area. Right. Hank, I'm sure you've got some questions. Yeah. I was just going to ask about at the lefties, and you talked about Augusta a little bit, but between him, Bobby Mack, Harmon, Matt McCarty, I don't know, Bubba and Mike Weir, I think of the other ones. What other, Bobby Mack is a dark horse that I'm looking at. Does he have a path? Yeah. I think, I think he definitely does. I mean, I think he's one of those guys coming off his best major season of his career. A couple of top 10s came close, obviously at Oakmont. When you look at players that play well at Oakmont, typically similar players that play well at Augusta. And Bobby Mack has been a guy that I think in tougher conditions, he seems to shine. So I think Bobby Mack is a really great sleeper pick. Hank, I've said a lot of compliments to you today. I probably need to insult you as I get off the show. I like Matt McCarty as well. Matt played great last season. First Masters for him. I think it's a golf course he likes a lot. I've talked to him a bit about Augusta and how much he kind of fell in love with the place. I mean, it's easy to love the golf course, but as a player, I think sometimes it takes a little bit of time to understand it. And he was near the top of the leaderboard on Saturday. Had a chance to really get himself in contention. He missed out on the auto invite last year by one shot and then plays his way into it this year. So I like McCarty as well. I'd say, I'd say if you went Auxay, Bobby Mack, Matt McCarty, like a three play in terms of one of those guys winning, I think you probably get good value on that. And I like all three of those guys. Nice. Good question, Hank. Any other questions? Do you have something else for Hank? Shane? I mean, just, I just, I mean, I love, I like Hank a lot. Lefty Lockwood. Here's a question, Shane. Wait, so are we lefty 100% now, Hank, or no? Good question. Great question. Yeah. I mean, mentally, yes. So you'll be putting lefty in a mini golf turn. I will never, I am swinging left handed clubs and a right handed putter. So I'm not 100% lefty. My dad did that for a while. The other way, my dad went righty golf or lefty putter for a while. Didn't work out great for him. Why the putting lefty? The putting righty. It just doesn't like when I switched, when I switched to swinging lefty, that felt natural. Kind of from the beginning, putting never felt natural. It doesn't feel natural at all. And I just like, I don't see the vision long term of switching to lefty. Like it just feels very weird in the opposite of the way that like swinging lefty feels pretty natural. And putting righty, it's not. How's the power as a lefty golfer? Sing it? How's like the power. That's the hardest thing when you switch. It's way stronger. Like I hit it farther. Really? Yeah, since the beginning. Wow, interesting. He didn't hit that far as a righty. That's wild. He didn't know how to move his hips when he was hitting right handed. He's unlocked the hips. Hey, if you talk to like, have you talked to like Tron Carter at No Laying Up about this? No, I've seen, I've watched his videos. Like I watched his videos in some of the Like the podcast he did. Yeah, he did it for like a year. He's really the only one. Like I've done a lot. Oh, year. I've done a lot of research and he's pretty much the only person who's like done something similar. How to go for it? There was a guy named Mako Grady. There was a guy named Mako Grady back in the day that tried to apply to qualify for the U.S. Open as a righty and a lefty. I think he tried to apply as a lefty as like Mako Grady 2 and the USGA wouldn't allow him. But the rumor was he was an incredible lefty golfer. Obviously he was a very, very good righty golfer. And then VJ apparently is a scratch golfer as a lefty. So there have been people that can dip. I mean, obviously pro golfers can dip their toe in it. But in terms of the everyday man, I mean, there's not a lot of guys that will fully commit to the opposite side. You got this, Hank. You got to fully commit as a man though to the opposite side. Including starting this week with our mini golf tournament. I'm not putting lefty. I don't know what to tell you. Yes, you're not fully committed. So you're just no shame. You'll never fully commit. As a man, you're a boy. That's fine. Lots of people, there's so many people that do that put the opposite way. There's a lot of boys out there. There's a lot of boys. A lot of little boys. Boys are fine. Yeah. Now, hey, because there have been any thought to the no to be gay thing where you have the bullseye putter and you put lefty and righty, depending on how the putt breaks. Not that. No, I know there hasn't. Sorry, I'm stuck on PFT. Yeah, PFT just said he's attracted to little boys. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. To not say that, I said it's fine. Little boys are fine. I was saying it's fine to be a boy like Hank and not a man like us. And then he said boys are great. No, he said little boys are fine. No, I didn't say little. I never said little, I don't think. Yeah. I think I just said boys are fine. It didn't sound good. I'm not here to argue in favor of saying boys are fine. You should not say that. But I didn't say little boys are great. Oh, so you're just saying little is the difference? I'm saying that Hank is being a little boy and that's okay. It's fine. It's okay. It's fine. You guys haven't been to the Masters? Little boys are fine. Have you guys been to the Masters before? No, we've got to go. I don't think they would appreciate this type of conversation. No, the problem is we do our mini golf tournament the week of the Masters. I do want to go. We have to one year just say fuck it, we're going and do it. Yeah, I would like to go. But also it's I don't know that they'd let us. I don't know what that means. We've said a lot of things. No, they didn't. They did let us. I mean, but you guys are also like you love the golf tournament. You guys are golf fans. Yeah. I mean, Hank's like the biggest golfer I know. Yeah. By far. Oh, I have a question for you, Shane. What would happen if we literally cover golf, Shane? Yeah. If hypothetically a guy that's like favored to win the tournament, what if he slept in and missed his tee time on Thursday? I mean, I mean, done so. Just immediately. I mean, you're one minute late. One minute late disqualified for the entire day, entire weekend. Yeah. For the entire for the entire tournament. Yeah. You miss your tee time. I mean, that was the whole rider cup thing with Rory where he got the police escort and was rushing to his tee time. I mean, if you if you miss a tee time, it is you're done. You're done for that tournament. Wow. That's crazy. All right, Shane. I got one last question for you. Roback question, RHO, BACK.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase, QZibs, Polos, hoodies, joggers, shorts, roback.com promo code take. I think they actually have the Azalea collection right now on Roback. So go roback.com, go right now. Last question for you. Have you ever won the media raffle to play? No, I have not. Have you ever ever entered every year? I haven't in the last few years, but early in my like writing blogging days back in the in the blogging era, I would enter. But no, never, no, I never got the tap. Have you? At this point, did you enter this year? No, I have not. Oh, come on. Get yourself in there. I didn't even bring my sticks down. I know that's sad to say, but this is a busy time of year for me. I've got two little kids, you know, like, I mean, my wife called me today. Kids got pink eye already. Like, oh, an extra day. Even with this on the on the horizon, it's like, I need to get back and be a human in the household. So that's fair. As much as I'd love to get involved, I feel like that's I've learned, Big Cat, even if you're in the golf space, telling your partner that you're staying somewhere to play golf doesn't doesn't play well. Facts. Facts. Yeah. And I learned that's not a doesn't go over. I just love the media lottery. Just when someone wins, who's like never golfed and everyone gets so upset. It's like, well, that was the point of the lottery. Like you go in the lottery and if you win it, you get the lottery. Like you can't be mad at someone for winning it. Yeah. It's awesome. Yeah. And there's a there's a second lottery this year. I believe the new course that they just opened the municipal course here, I believe it's called the patch. There's a second lottery for players for media to get an opportunity to play that. And I think those have already the names have already been announced. And they're saying there's going to be no kind of overlap, if you will. But it'll be interesting to see if somebody gets both, you know, gets the double dip. Yeah. And another big story, maybe bigger than the master's tournament itself is Wednesday, will Tommy Fleetwood's son be able to clear the water this year? It's a great question. You got to get the quote, right? I mean, you've got to get the mic in front of them. Just have him part of the broadcast. Yeah. I mean, he is he is a quote machine. He's got to get over. I think he might be a couple years away. Yeah. No, he's got it. He thinks so. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. When is Charlie Woods going to play? So what is he going to college now? I mean, you know, I mean, when's when a US amateur make a championship of US amateur could get him in. So let's say over under four and a half years, maybe it's probably a zero assessment. Easy. Is he is he on track to be a pro in your like people talking about it or no? I mean, it's it's it's hard to say on track to be a pro. He's a really, really, really good junior golfer. Yeah. Obviously getting an opportunity to play at a very good school. And he's the one AJGA tournaments, you know, I mean, the AJGA is the PJ tour junior golf. And that's where the elite of the elite compete and play. And winning AJGA tournaments is a great sign. I mean, dominating them obviously is a better sign. I mean, guys, you know, I do the corn fairy tour, you know, all year long. And you go through like every KFT players bio and they're like AJG AJGA player of the year, one, five times in college, right? I mean, all these guys are absolute studs and their respective areas of the world. But I mean, I think he's on a great trajectory to be a very good golfer. I mean, to be a pro is another sign. And who knows what a pro means. You could play corn fairy tour golf, mini tour, you could pop up and down to the PJ tour. But I definitely am very impressed with his ability to play considering the weight on his shoulders of his name. And I think he's got a great kind of mindset about it. Like he even, you know, he finished last at the invitation, which is the biggest junior tournament in golf at Sage Valley. And I love the post he wrote where he was congratulating his teammate on winning it, saying how how pumped he was to get the invite and obviously didn't play great. So I don't know. I mean, I'd love to see him play it. I mean, obviously the weight of it is going to be heavy, but I love that he's kind of committed to this and he's going to go play college golf. And what's the deal with the amateurs that can regain their amateur status? How does that work? Because I read about a couple of guys this year where like you can be a pro and then you can say, psych, I'm not good enough to be a pro. So I'd rather just play as an amateur. Like I got some Chicago. All right. So so let me let me say this. I need to preface this by saying this. I played pro golf now poorly, but I played mini tour golf for two or three years back in my 20s in Arizona. So I actually had to go through the process of getting my amateur status back and it took me a number of years to do it. I mean, I didn't I didn't make any money as a pro. So it wasn't like I, you know, was some PJ tour winner, but they had the USGA has made it easier to get your status back. It's basically like a six month to a year process of asking for reinstatement and committing to play an amateur golf. But if you look at the like, for instance, the USGA mid-am, which if you win that event, you get an invite into the masters. That is a ton of players that were pro golfers that are now back to play an amateur golf. So it's a little iffy, if you will. I wish the process was a little bit longer. I wish it was a couple of years still to get your amateur status back, but it is definitely making amateur golf a lot more competitive, especially like the mid-am golf life where you're playing Wingfoot and Pine Valley and Seminole and all these places that have these elite elite mid-am golf tournaments. What do you have to do to prove that you're you're an amateur now? You have to be like, Hey, I'm not as good as I thought that I was like you have to post scores that aren't that great. I think it's more money earning. I think it's more like I'm not earning money now and I'm committing to not earning money going forward. I think that's a little bit more of of that space and taking a time break between playing pro golf and then playing amateur golf. But like I said, that window is a lot shorter now than it used to be. Hey, no, there's a guy in the Masters this year that won the mid-am. That's like from Illinois. That's a real estate agent. He's like 40 years old. That's sick. Oh, I saw this. Yeah. He was he kind of did a simple. So good. And yeah, he doesn't. He doesn't eat. Yeah. Great story. The guy does not look like a golfer at all. No, I saw a picture of him. The new is like what looks like guys playing in the Masters. It's like, yeah, I'm a real estate agent. He put like basketball. Yeah. I put my clubs away for four months a year and like, but I think it was a similar thing where he was a pro very a long time ago. Didn't make any money. And now he's just like a real estate agent and that's sick at golf. That's awesome. What a dream. Brandon Holtz is his name, I believe. Yeah. He won one won one at True North or True Country Club this past season in the in the mid-am. Yeah. Plate college basketball, I believe, and then got into golf. And obviously that was kind of the outlet for competitiveness, which I still find amazing that people can like Steph Curry, that's like a scratch golfer and a shot, you know, under par in a professional event. I find the crossover stuff is something maybe we don't celebrate enough. Yeah. When guys are able to be relatively elite at something else outside of what they grew up playing. Yeah. Okay. Shane, you're the best. We love having you on. Thank you. Also incredible job giving us those holes. Yeah. We really appreciate it and have a great Masters week and we look forward to talking to you for the rest of the major tournaments. So we'll talk to you in a month. Anytime. Love you boys. And Max Hohm is going to be brought to you by our great friends at Jose Cuervo. When Cuervo enters, every moment just gets better. You find yourself in the center of the dance floor. You can't help but stand up and high five those around you at the game. The room reacts like it just got the same text at the same time. You stop checking the time and suddenly small talk escalates to laughing so hard that you can barely catch your breath. That's the Cuervo effect. The signal everybody understands. A moment that anyone can join and a good time that just grows. All you have to do is keep it Cuervo. And now here's Max Homo. Okay. We now welcome on a very, very, very, very special guest on a very, very special week. And he's our very good friend. It is Max Homo. Master's week. Max, we're pumped up. I'm sure you're pumped up. How are you feeling mentally ready to go? Are we going to win this thing? We might win this thing. I say we shock the world and win the thing. I've been thinking a lot about it. I feel like not winning is less fun than winning. So I'm kind of just going to go for it. Yeah. Yeah. You know what you should do? You should be like Michigan basketball. Shock the world. I don't know if you saw that. Yeah, they shocked everybody. Yeah. Let's shock the world. Do whatever you thought. Let's do that. A team with a massive NIL who was the best team all year won and I was utterly shocked. A show everybody believed in them. Yeah. It's just amazing. The nine starters in that room, they're all we got. I wonder if they'll still be talking about this in a decade when they're all first team all NBA saying, man, remember when we shocked the world? Max, I don't want to sound like a stalker or anything. But the Masters now has a new feature on the app where you can watch somebody's range time. Does that feel like an invasion of privacy? Because I went and I found the balls that you hit and I could see every shot that you hit today. And I felt dirty doing that. I shouldn't know. There's some things that guys just shouldn't know about other guys. And to me, the range session seems sacrosanct. I don't know if you've given any thought to that. It does a little now that I know. Like now that we know that it happens because they do it somewhere else as well. I think maybe the players, but you start to worry a bit about your spreads. Like if you just hit one stinker, you're like, oh, that's going to look like an outlier. Or like the end of my practice today, my coaches have me pick different targets. So one was very far left and one was very far right. And I was in the back of my mind, I was thinking, I was like, some people are going to think I'm sucking pretty bad. Yeah, we don't have access. Like it's the guys that try to like break down quarterback film on Twitter, but they don't know what the playbook is. There was, there were a couple of shots when you were hitting your driver. There's like those two channels that you can hit into. Yes. You were going down the middle sometimes. I don't know if that was leaking right or if that was the target. It was absolutely that was the target. Maybe not all the time. That's a lie. Maybe not all the time, but we had like three. Yeah. We went like right fairway, middle fairway, left fairway a lot. And then tried to hit in the left two bunkers a few times. So that's what I'm saying, dude. I can't promise you that the one you saw wasn't a bad one. But yes, we were hitting all over the yard and now I am even more self-conscious to know someone was seeing all that. It's just PFT. It's just me. It's probably literally just me. There's a lot of sickos out there that I'm sure like I was doing it just for the novelty of it. And I felt kind of dirty. And I was like, I, I closed my phone like real fast. And I put it across the room. I was like, I don't want to do that again. But it does feel like it's too much information at times. We should spin it. It's like comforting. Like when, when you think you're alone, your friends are there with you. My boys are there. My boys are with me. Yeah. You see me hit a bad shot. You pour one out for me. Yeah. You're thinking of me. Yeah. That sounds actually kind of nice. I will say there's a some app my friends have. And I guess you can like every time you upload a golf score, they like share. And I didn't know anything about this. And my buddy Steven was like telling me all about it. And you know, they share their scores. He's like, it's pretty creepy because you know, every time someone golfs, like Hank would have four day. Yeah. And, but it was great because he showed me our buddy. I think it was Warner played like whatever, post his score and shot in the 90s or whatever. So he didn't know I was with Steven. I just text him, Hey dude, you suck at golf. It was perfect. He's gone fucking Steven showed you my scores. Like that felt icky to me. I shouldn't have been privy to that information. Yeah. Just helping out your friends. It's like big brothers everywhere. The surveillance state has infiltrated the masters now. Yeah. But it was honestly, it was kind of interesting just to see like the different shots that guys were hitting to warm up. But I think it's cool. Yeah. Yeah. Wait, what is a, how's the course look? I know the weather is going to be beautiful this week. Is, does the course look any different to you? It is like, no, it doesn't look different. It's like, it's pretty dry. It's one of those things that gets to like, to trick every, like the players even into like, this false sense of hope. And with the weather, I have a feeling that tomorrow will be a little bounce here. And then I think Thursday is going to be aggressively firm by the end of the day. They have a way of doing that. And they've gotten like very good weather for it. So I have a feeling they're kind of like waiting, waiting, waiting. And then, you know, we, they close the course tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday afternoon, around like two or three. So nobody can see it really late. And I think that's when they start like sucking the water out of the ground. Yeah. And it's going to be dry. I saw that like it's perfect weather for the next four days. What does that, what does that do? Like in terms of your approach, because I'm an idiot, I don't really understand golf. Like the, is it higher shots? Is it like having, knowing that like you hit the green and it might roll off? Like how do you approach that stuff? I think angles start to matter way more when it's firm like that. Like you look at holes, like we're going to get real nerdy, but you look at holes like two. If you have like a left pin on two, you, and you, even if you can't get to the green, you got to go like way right. So then when you pitch it across the green, you have a chance to stop the ball. Obviously high is going to help. I mean, the reason like Rory and Scotty and Rahm have played so well there is because they are, you know, really obviously great golfers, but they hit the ball really hard and high. So that helps it stop. But I also just think in general with the lack of wind, because the last year has been super windy, the lack of wind, I think will make it. You'll see like a good, like a spread of like who's playing really well and who's playing not well, because you can't, you can almost fake it easier at this golf course when it's really hard because like nobody can play it well. So it's just really difficult. But when it's playing with like kind of the wind down, really good shots get rewarded way more. But with how firm it is, they better be really fucking good shots. So I think you'd see like a lot of great iron players play well this week, just given how it's going to be a bit like target practice in a way, but like how it's got to be really, really sharp target practice. Right. So we, we've had to have a new on before the Masters for, I think since 2021, when I, when I asked the kind of mean question when I was like, can you win it? Yeah, I wait for it every year. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, but this is, let me land the plane here. That year you didn't make the cut. Then you finished 48th, then you finished 43rd. I feel like people don't give you enough credit. You finished third at the Masters. Yeah. And last year you finished 12th. Like, does it feel like you have at least figured out the course a little bit? Because this feels like everything I've read about the Masters, it's like you have to play it a few times before you can actually get good at it. And if you look at your career at the Masters, it feels like you have gotten to a point where you feel comfortable on this course and you're putting up really good scores and competing for first. Yeah, I will say that my third was awesome, but last year I was playing like dog nuts coming into it and I played awful here. But I like, definitely to answer your question, think I like learned where to leave it and learn certain golf shots that you could take on and certain that I wasn't going to if I wasn't playing well. So last year's 12th was like significantly more shocking than the year fourth third. So I do think that you figured out a little bit. It is the one of the most amazing golf courses I've ever played, but it is goofy. Like it's it's got like some crazy golf shots that you'd never hit in your life. So I do think that like getting some familiarity with it is good. But at the end of the day, like I said, when you're hitting those second shots in the greens, like you just got to hit them good. So you can make all the stink you want about how you got to know it and be comfortable in this and that. But there's just certain golf shots that you just got to execute on it's hard as shit. But I do think that getting more comfy being here is helpful. Because it's a it's an intimidating place. Yeah, you walk around in green jackets that you know have billions of dollars. Yeah, yeah, you know, it's just wise a wild spot. Yeah. And do you do you have more confident? I would assume this is the answer. But do you have more confidence going into this year knowing like last year, like you said, like you you were coming in a mess and you were able to fight your way through it and you fought your way through the whole year. And like, I think everyone admires the hell out of it because you were very open about it. Like, I don't know where my golf game is right now. And it feels like you're on the other end of that where it's does it feel like you have more confidence because you went through all of that? Yeah, I think if you can blend like a bit of the strategy of when you're playing shitty that you can make something still work plus playing a lot better if you can marry those two because I think sometimes I've talked to certain athletes about this like when they have a warm up that's just like otherworldly. They're like some a lot of those games they say they play like shit because there's like almost like overly confident. So they take on everything. And they say that a lot of the times they're bad warm ups, you know, like in basketball, they'll get to their spot and like be way more specific about what shots they're going to shoot and like ease their way into it. So I think when you blend those two, it works really well. So I do think that no one last year, I played awful, but could still make a score could help this year when I won't play nearly as awful. But if I can keep those two minds like in the same brain, it could be good. Yeah. But I definitely, I mean, I think this golf course also just like very much suits what I do well and is honestly pretty nice to me on the stuff I'm not so good at. So that part definitely gives me some confidence. I mean, you still got to go out there and fucking do it. You know, you're playing a lot of really good players, but I definitely think for four days I could get I could get warm and give myself a chance. Have you ever been in the zone at Augusta? In the zone. Yeah, I think the year I got third, there was a bit there on Friday where it just felt like if I pulled the club back, I was going to hit it pretty close. And if I pulled my putter back, it was going to go in for a little bit there. So that was quite fun. Golf has a funny way of just smacking you right in the face about that because I came out Saturday. It was a pretty good round to be honest, but I made no birdie 17 bars in a bogey. So yeah, right when I thought I figured out the game kind of caught up to me a little bit. But yeah, you do not take for granted those moments are in the zone. It's the greatest feeling in the world, especially in golf when you typically just make bad swing after bad swing or lip out of putter or whatever. So it feels nice when the hole feels like a bucket. Yeah, I honestly think I would cry if you won the Masters. I think that's how emotional I would be. Oh yeah. I'll come on here and we'll just cry. We'll cry. We'll cry together. Yeah, we'll cry. Be like Danny early just pushing the ball together. Yeah, yeah. Maybe you have to fly down there and like streak on the course. Yeah, if you win the Masters, I might get a private jet down to Augusto. Oh, I think I'm gonna sit down, dude. You guys can eat you down there. Yeah, I'm gonna get some party. I thought you were gonna say you were gonna get a Max Homo Masters champ tattoo because I might do that. I probably would do that. Yeah, I might get a green jacket just tattooed on my body. Same, dude. Yeah, there will be no limit of the dumb shit I would do. I was looking at the holes because that's what you do once you hit the age of 40. What's your favorite role of GIFT? Probably the vagina. Yeah, I really needed Zach here because I've been playing in that question for him all day. Oh, man. Zach's not on the booth, is he? No, no, he's doing the mini golf. We got guys qualifying for our Augusta, the mini golf. It is actually Hank's Augusta, the mini golf tournament this week at Barstool HQ. That's a little tease. We'll get Zach once he gets in the booth. You can try to get one of that. If he's just somehow says mouth, I'd be so happy. Yeah, so I was looking at the 12th because that's what you do. When you turn 40, you get really into the mowing report and then you get into the, obviously, the hole placement from above and then you just do the flybys of all the holes and you visualize them. I was looking at the 12th hole and that seems like it's the ultimate, people think this hole over way too much. They think too hard. I 100% agree. Have you changed how you approach that hole at all? Or is it like, you know, going into the weekend, here's the shot I'm going to hit. You know where the pin's going to be. Here's what I'm going to do Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I've changed how I think about that back right pin, which is the Sunday pin because the year I had a chance, I made a really good par on 11 and Scotty missed the green. I think he had a so-so chip and I knew he was probably going to make bogey. So I think I was going to be one back going after I teed off on 12 and I did the thing that you hear about, aim over the middle of the left center of that front bunker when you're being safe and you just hit it in the middle of the green or whatever and I hit this nine iron and I'll never forget it. Right as I hit it, it was just like one of those where I said, oh man, I did it. I was nervous. It was the shot you've seen a million times on TV, not go well. I was like, oh, I fucking did it and you just hear this groan from the crowd and it flew a little too far, hit the hill, jumped up into the Ivy and I made double bogey. Last year I got to the same pin. I like to cut the ball so back right pins good for me. I got to that hole. I was, I needed to get top 12 to get back in this week. And I just remember I was like, what am I so afraid of? Like if anything fits me, it's this. So I was like, just aim a couple of steps left of it and hit the fucking nine iron. And I did it and I hit it to, you know, 12 or so feet and I was like, that's how I'm playing this back right from now unless I got a five shot lead, I'm playing it like that because it was not, it didn't, it's like you're sometimes too passive. Now I understand why people do it, but at that point in time it was just like, let's play the game. Yeah. Do you know, do we have the pairings yet? Do you know who you're pairing? Yeah, I'm playing with someone I don't know from, hey, I did. Okay, I'll move, I'll move your car. And are they're here? All right, tell Pete, I'm talking to big cat and PFT. He, my friend Pete is coming in right now and he's the one who got me hooked on your guys podcast. What's up Pete? How's it going Pete? Hell yeah. Oh, you're playing with? I also blocked my wife with my car. I did get the babies to go to bed though. So yeah, dad is here. You're playing with Nayuki Katahoka and Carlos Ortiz. Yeah, Carlos. Carlos plays on live. I miss him so much. Carlos, little Carlito. He is my guy. I miss him. We had Q-School together our first year. Man, so it'll be fun. He is the best dude. He's just like he's like a bubbly person. So it's kind of nice to hang out with him for a while. Or do you like playing morning, Thursday, afternoon, Friday? I feel like that would be better because then Friday, you kind of know where you stand. You're like, hey, here's where the cut's going to be. I can go attack it. I've danced back and forth. Hey, we're not thinking about the cut is here, big cat. We're on a jacket or bus. We're fucking jacket or bus. We're Sunday party. I was going baby steps. I was like, you know, make the cut that moving day, that Sunday. Yeah. But no, I've danced back and forth. I think this week will be good to be early late, plus the fact that my late's really not very late. They gave me two very middle tea times. So I think it'll be good. Typically late, the second day is harder in a major because they make the course like slowly firm up. So morning, the second day is usually better, but both tea times are actually pretty solid. So I like getting off early and playing well in the morning, typically. And then you get to just like enjoy yourself for 15 hours instead of sometimes you play, well, sometimes you play like shit in the afternoon and then it's just like straight to bed and straight up. And you're just like, I'm not even, I'm still not in a very good mood. Sometimes it's like, the time can be good. Yeah. Yeah. So after you play, if you play early in the morning on Thursday, what do you do for the rest of the day? Oh, well, this week helps. I have all my friends here. So I'll go work out after and then probably practice a little bit. And then we come back and we just play married people games. Oh, that's perfect. Yes, good. Oh, yeah, you're, you're, you're 10 o'clock on Friday. You're good. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's not bad. 11 o'clock. Oh, yeah. 11 o'clock. 10 o'clock your time. Yeah. Central time right now. All right. Yeah. So that's fun. We're about like on course meals. What are you having for breakfast on Thursday morning? I'm an omelette guy. Omelette, potatoes, bacon. And then on the course, I don't do a good job eating on the course, but PB&J sounds amazing. I do love an uncrustable. Yeah. They're hard to beat. Hey, Pete. Hey, Lea. Sorry. Pete, what's up, dude? Big Cat says, what's up? Do you buy any chance, Big Cat, if there's anybody in the world that would know this name? Long Beach State 2013 makes March Madness. Casper wears on the team. Who else on the team? James Ennis? And there's a white dude, my height named Peter Papa George. Do you by any chance know that name? Cause Stucky does and he hates him. Oh no. I was with Stucky on Saturday. That's hilarious. That's hilarious. With Stucky on Saturday. Yeah. At the final four. Stucky once tweeted, he goes, you ever see a, a, a, just a punchable face. That's Peter Papa George. Dude, I love those teams because they would have the, the, the Jersey that just said the beach on them. The beach. Yeah. It's the greatest. Yeah. It's the best. Yeah. Okay. So he hoops. All right. Wait. So when you're playing these married people's games, are people taking it easy on you? No, God, no. We actually have had to start swap. Thank you. That's a good friend. Yeah. No, I would buy us. We gotta let Max win this. Like, he's got a reason why everybody's there. We started swapping, we started swapping, uh, like, uh, partners because everyone gets a little too mad at each other. Yeah. I didn't really, I almost said just wives, but then I realized that sounded bad. And even when I said partners, you know, so, yeah, you get the, you get the upside down pineapple and you start swapping pineapple. You crack the garage door a little bit. Yeah. Don't do that, Max. Do what? We already addressed that. We already addressed that. That's what I'm talking about. We already addressed that in the run of the show. Oh, this is good. I'm having fun. Oh, man. I'm just excited to watch you. Have you, have you hung out with any of the fellas there? Like, who are, who are the guys that you look to, to hang out with when you get to August every year? Justin and Jordan, I play practice round with them. I played practice round with Monday. We're playing part three tomorrow together. Don't win that. And then, uh, no, I know you're not supposed to win that. My son putts for me. So I'm immediately disqualified. So that's nice. Well, what? You don't think that your son can do it? No, they just disqualified because it's not me, but no, also he can't. He is liable for about a 42 putt. He's also obsessed with people in the water. He asked me every single hole if I'm going to hit it in the water or the other person is going to hit it in the water. So no, I won't win that at all. And then, uh, yeah, so, so the curse will, uh, will not be on me. I think now we officially have a chance. Yeah. All right. Yeah. I love it. Also, um, I was reading about Augusta today. Are you familiar with the, uh, the 19th hole? Are you? Yeah. Dead serious. It doesn't actually exist. There's no way they really have a 19th hole there. They were going to build one when they built the golf course and it was going to, it was going to be like a 90 yard par three that was in between, I want to say the ninth hole and the 18th hole. Yeah, that makes sense. And, uh, they, it was during the Great Depression. So they ran out of money and they didn't build it and they kept saying, we're going to build it once we get our, once we get our paper right. And then, uh, it became like so much of an institution that when they got their money and the economy was doing fine, they were like, yeah, you know what? I don't think that Augusta needs a 19th hole. The paper was too right. The paper was too good. Yeah. And the boys are like, you know, I'm just going to pocket this. It would have absolutely killed the vibe of Augusta. Yeah. Honestly, really would not have been a good idea. Yeah. But just look at it next time you walk by, be like, oh yeah, that's where the, that's the 19th hole. Don't tell Zach that because I feel like if you say, ask my question, he's just going to cop out and say the 19th. Oh yeah. Oh, definitely. Um, do you, do you ever eat the food at Augusta? Like the, you know, that's the thing that, I like the Timento cheese and all that. Yeah. Do you ever, I've had the chicken sandwich. I'm not a big cheese guy. So I skipped that. My friend Josh last year, who you guys made famous because he's the one who wanted to bring his Xbox to the house. Yeah. He said 100 people came up to him. We're like, are you, you know, are you Max's friend, the one that wanted to bring the video games? Like you're an idiot. He's, I think he went through like 50 ham and cheese's last year and wondered why his stomach hurt for like a month. I love that. I'm quite worried that the tournament's over stock to him and cheese because he's not here this year. Oh no. Yeah. They like did all their calculations and now they're going to have all these extras. 100 extra. What happened? They're not even going to sniff it. Have you tried the candy bar yet? No. How do you know? I don't even know what that is. Oh, Shane Bacon was on the show. Shane Bacon told us about that. Yeah. And he would know. Yeah. He's gotten to go around like the grounds and see a bit more than I do. A new menu item this year. I think you're pretty sure. Okay. I gotta go try it. The candy bar. Yeah. Yeah. The candy bar. Yeah. Dark chocolate, crispy rice. Just magic apparently. It's just a candy bar. They just named it a candy bar. It's pretty sick. What? Yeah. I'll give it a shot. It looks awesome. I know that people love the pimento cheese. I kind of wish I like cheese to give it like a taste test, but... Wait, you don't like cheese? Oh, I know what I was going to ask you. Are you, are you two tan? I think I am. Yeah. I need to cool it. I think you are too. Get my head. We were watching you the other day on the... So white. On the whatever tournament. What was it last week? Were you in last week's tournament? Yeah. And you came across the screen. I was like, I think Max is two tan. It's just Italian. I walked by a guy today and he goes, he goes, I could hear him talking to whoever he's with. He goes, man, he's got a nice bass. I need to stay inside for a little while. I need to play better so I can get three months off at the end of the year and I just won't go outside for a month. Yeah. Save the skid. Yeah. Dude, Arizona, you guys were just there, dude. It's just the size closer to me. It's crazy. Yeah. It gets nuts. Do you have the, do you have the sock tan? Probably not because you wear pants a lot. No, I have a nasty sock tan. It's off. I got it. It's all bad, dude. It's terrible. And it doesn't help. I got the darkest and hairiest arms so it makes it look even darker. It's bad. It's terrible. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So, so what is the goal? Do you have a number in mind for Thursday? Man, I think something in the sixties will be great. So, I'm taking, I think, I mean, Dreamworld, you're looking like mid to low sixties, but I think ideally I would love to start with something with the six. Okay. That's what we're going for. We can do that. Yeah. We can absolutely keep that. Keep the theme of this podcast going. 69 would be a great start. Yeah. We could definitely do that. Yeah. You know what? I'm going to do a lottery ball right now and that's what you're going to score. Do you, do you agree to this? I would love that. Yeah. Okay. This is a rush. It means it's shaking his head. No, I don't think anybody's ever shot their lottery ball. It's never happened. We get like a nice like 64. Hug had to have a shot of 99 at some point. Oh yeah, that's true. That's true. That's true. We got like 64 right now. I'm now nervous. If it's a 59, I'm winning. Oh, Max, since you have the early tee time on Thursday, what's your protocol for how many alarms you set? I usually set two. I've never really needed the second one, but I get real anal. Actually, for the master, I might set three. Yeah. I would be nervous about that. Oh yeah. It's the one thing I just can't have happen. I've had nightmares about that. We could have Zach call you if you needed to. Yeah. That's what you would be why you miss. You miss the master. Zach was supposed to call you. They go go with the bomb alarm. I'm going to do another number. Yeah, that one was a practice one. That was a practice one. What was it? What was it? That was a practice round, dude. Max will say it after you hang up. Yeah. Yeah. It was a practice round. So don't go back unless. Yeah, tell me after. It was a practice. That was the practice. You always got to do one practice. Yeah, everybody. Yeah, you go first round instead of one. All right. We're not doing the lottery ball. Broke the machine broke. Yep. Yep. We're not doing the lottery ball. What number did it start with? The first one was a seven. The second one was an eight. I'll take it. I was scared of the nine. No. Yeah. All right. Let's hope it's played super hard. It was actually, I think I read it wrong. It was a 57. That's what it was. It was 57. We can collect back from a 75. Yeah. Yeah. We had 57. I don't think a 75 kills you. It doesn't kill me. I'm still in the fight. Yeah. It's a 57. That's fine. That's what it was. Imagine if you put up a 57. Could you imagine? You might just have to fly down Thursday. 57 would be. Oh my God. Yeah. If you broke 16. I honestly think I might be too. It might be too much. Yeah. Is that a thing? Like if you shoot like the round of your life in a tournament, is it super rare to follow it up with another good round? Yeah. Okay. So that gets talked about a lot in like the golf thing. It's like they always say, you know, these like stuffy, you know, golf commentators, you know, it's so hard to back up a really good round with a really good round. And I always think, I mean, like, yeah, sure, like statistically, but also it's just you had a really good round. Of course, it's hard to do that again. Like that's why it's considered really good. It's like if somebody scores, you know, 50 points in a football game, the next week they don't, it's like, God, they just can't seem to keep it together. It's like, no, that was why we're so enamored by the 50 points they gave before. It's really fucking good. Yeah. So yeah, that's why. I will say that the hardest thing I've done when in golf tournaments in college, but I shot a really low round the first day and we had three more and everyone's like congratulating you after the round like you won and you're like, this is just be way worse if I lose now. So can I just like, can you leave me alone and wait till, you know, Sunday? So that it gets kind of hard, but it's so uncommon for somebody to win wire to wire in golf. So not to say I wouldn't take a 57. I don't want to put that out there. I'll absolutely try to win wire to wire at 57. Yeah, let's do a 57. Yeah, it's like an answer getting mad at Bam out of bio for not scoring 84 points the next week. Yeah. Yeah, you can back it up. What's going on? Are you out celebrating? Yeah, one hit wonder, Bam. Yeah. Yeah. All right, well, Max, I got one last question for you. Roback question. RHOback.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase Q zips polo's hoodies joggers shorts rowback.com promo code take. First of all, thank you for coming on. I really it really does mean a lot to us. My favorite tradition. Yeah, but it's like you're in the master's week and you still fuck around with us and it's it's very, very cool of you. I have one request. And I don't know if you can do it, but can can you can you do one of those skip the ball off the water shots tomorrow? Yeah, I'll do it tomorrow and play the back nine super early. So I'll do it. Okay, okay. Like the part three, like those are the coolest shots ever. Yeah, they're so sick. They're so fun. I've only hit the green once. Rom had made a hole in one once with it, which is that's got to be like top five ever. Yeah, shot. Yeah, doesn't get enough run. But yeah, I'll do it tomorrow. I got to figure out bones told me that you got to take a six iron. It needs to slam into the water right in front of you and then take a mega big bounce. So it only needs like two more to climb the hill. So I'm going for that tomorrow. Okay, what we do you see the catty missed the whole water and hit a fan today or no crowd today. No, it's pretty great. A patron. A patron. Sorry. Good job. Yeah, we'll bleep that out. We'll edit that for you. Dude, don't get me in trouble. If you get a hole in one tomorrow, you got to jump at the lake when you skip it across. Oh, if I skip it. Yeah, yeah. But we have the part three condos, which is very lucrative for me with the group I'm in, if I can make a one. So as much as tomorrow's practice around skip matters a lot, the nine holes with Justin and Jordan means a whole lot more. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'll be a good one. Yes, I'm terrified every time somebody gets. All right, well, Max, you're the best. Best of luck. We're rooting for you. Everyone's rooting for you. Let's go. Let's go do it. Let's go do it. Let's fucking do it. I'll see you guys Sunday night. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll bring the beers. Yeah, you will. We'll get him. Yeah, also, I think Zach is still playing mini golf right now, but he says that he loves you and misses you. Yeah, I love that too. Yeah. All right. We had a we had, by the way, before I go for Zach, we had a the guys in the locker room they had a more wheels or more doors debate and I almost brought up the Trumpers. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. Get out of here. Yeah, yeah. They said tomorrow they're doing MJ or LeBron to get everybody pissed off. I love that. That's good. You got to be a Kobe guy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'll maybe I'll throw that in the mix. Yeah. Okay. Also, I see fellow. Maybe StirClearVJSingsGOTE because he looks like he might be a supervillain. Yeah. I don't know if you've seen that thing. It's terrifying. It's pretty sick. It's strong. It's pretty sick. All right, see you, Max. Bye, Max. Love you guys. FAQs brought to you by What Not. That's for people in the office. That rocks. So pretty cool. So go to Stel Blue Coffee and buy it or on Amazon. And let's get some money going in the chat. Stop ignoring the obvious question. Is nudity on the table now that you're off of YouTube and on Netflix? Oh, that's actually a good question. I didn't even think about that. We have a meeting we can ask we can find out. Definitely. I'm gonna get to the bottom of that for you. I'm going to. Wow, man, Zach nude. Nude, Zach. Nude, Zach. Nude, Zach in the booth. We could do like a sub-a-thon. Nude, Zach in the booth. Hey, for the live show. Yeah. Zach. No phones. We just sit naked. Nude, Zach in the booth. Full nude. Guys being nudes. Christian the booth. Yeah. Full nude. You guys don't want that. You guys don't want that. No, I mean. Well, no, we can't see it because your the angle we're at. We're not gonna see anything. Think about people at home will see everything. Sabrina would see everything. Oh my God. Think about that. So we're gonna put a disclaimer at the top of this. Okay. Okay. Hey, PMT, what was the biggest disagreement off air you guys ever got into and how has it resolved? P.S. Let Hank exist. By the book, but it was the dips fit. Probably the dips fit. The mystery dips fit. The dips fit. Who could have known who had that dips fit? It's one of those unknowable riddles. Yeah, we're on the air so much that like not that there's not that many disagreements that happen off air. Right. You know what I actually think? Kind of just has, they happen on air as like if you've heard it. They happen on air, they bleed off air and then. Yeah. I think what would resolve on typically what happened would be like if we start to get into it, there's somebody that shows up with a camera. Yeah. If they hear an argument and then it becomes something that exists in content. Correct. And they kind of it honestly kind of helps that way. Yeah. And it's all it's always like, I think the one thing that saves us is that everything's always like with a veil of we're just fucking around. So it's like, Oh, is this serious? Now, we're just fucking around. It's got a mental torture for all of us. Yeah, it's just a lot of like the worst it gets is just like serious passive aggression. Yeah, yeah, it's just mental torture constantly. Yeah, I was on air. Yeah, it was. How much time like legitimate planning goes into what you guys talk about with each show and all of you collaborating on this at once. I love how seemingly off topic you guys can get with breaking moves or promoting Johnny Fanta as the next era for UNC. Long time listener to the show. Thank you for all giving me some joy and laughter even on the slowest of days. Bing Bong, Hanky and Go Birds Max. Love that. Yeah, we've got we've got a Google Doc that we use and we start prepping at about 6 30 every morning. And Zach does like the topics that we want to get into. So if we want to get on like a 10 minute discussion about if you can dunk a free throw, he'll write that in there. We'll bounce back and forth do a little bit of improv then we'll put down. There's the rehearsal. Yeah, we do a table read. We do a two hour rehearsal before every show. And then we have our stand ins that come in. They get the lighting. So we do like one run through of the show with our stand ins. So we can get everything just right on camera. And yeah, then we kind of come out at about 11am. And it usually takes about three takes through the show. And we stitch together the final product using only the best things. It's like SNL. The minute we finish a show, we have to start prepping for the next one. No, we don't. Shit. Yeah, literally don't you do that. The idiot jazz doesn't come from scripts. I think all of us we we know what we're going to talk about because we know what's happening in the sports calendar. We all kind of know the same sports topics that are going to be interesting for all of it. And then just sit down like do whatever your hot seat cool throne is going to be. Yeah. PFT gave me homework last week. What was the homework that I had to read the full the full jail and hurts hurts article. Did you make it? Now you do it. No. Did you get blocked by Jeremy Fowler? No. Really? I don't think so. I send another one. No, I already did. Give him another fuck you. Why do you say no fuck you again, buddy. I already did it. And it got yeah. I'm okay. Zach, did you do your homework from a couple weeks ago? We're talking about taking notes on the same article. No, when that was one assignment, we're talking laser tag. No, when when Trump put out the executive order for how to solve college sports, because we didn't pay any attention to what that was going to be. When Trump put out the executive order, he did executive order for fixing college sports. We can push that we can push that off. He fixed it off. That'll be post masters. Don't stress out. Don't stress out. Focus on golf this week. Don't stress that. I don't think he fixed it, though, because isn't everybody staying so that the transporter broke basketball? No, I think I think he fixed everything. I think it's all game. I think it's all damn 21 retweets on the get fucked. That was also that was that was basically a private message. Also, the four bookmarks. Who's coming back to that? People could use that. Yeah, yeah, that is a bond. He probably yeah, he Jeremy Fowler might have bookmarked it. I'll remember this. Oh, all right, last one. I got a question for PFT and big cat. Which of these do you guys enjoy more? A prime Hank show of passive aggressiveness and snarky comments or an all time max crash out? Oh, man, don't make me choose. Yeah, choosing your favorite children. I mean, it's the best when it happens at the same time. Yeah, true. And that well, it's the best one. Once a year, we get that. Well, no, it's the best when it when you get when we could just kind of sit back and you get passive aggressive snarky Hank about Philadelphia and then mad Max at Hank. Yeah, that's my personal favorite when Hanks when they just like take the wheel and they're just they're going back and forth to each other and they just and Max just like, shut the fuck up, all you do sit on the fucking couch and Hanks wearing the big the hater jacket. Yeah. And you got that shit eating grin on your face. Nobody's had more of a shit eating grin than Hank does when when he gets to relish and Max is misery. I'm not I'm not trolling. They were at the six. Now they're back. We need six seven seven. We need the Raptors to win. There's a lot of basketball. It's a tentative seven. It's a tentative seven because they have more games played than the Raptors Raptors got to win tonight. Okay, they got to win Raptors have to win three out of four. I don't think the six are going to be the Rockets, which would put them at the seven. That would put the six years at the Rockets. Yeah, we can't we can't just say we don't think that they're going to beat the Rockets. And then we play two tank to yeah, but then you need to but then you need then we also need so go Rockets go Raptors. Why? Because Rockets beat Sixers. Then the Raptors have to win three out of four and then to go to six and that gives us what that gives us six. It's terrified of the Sixers. But then the Sixers the next 15 and oh gets the Raptors after trading. Oh, yeah. And no, I would rather play the Raptors and then the Sixers though need to win the play in. If they're in the seven, they have to win the play in correct. The only problem is I was looking at the schedule, then the Sixers and the Celtics would have to go seven games for it to happen on your bachelor party. That'd be awesome. There's just no chance. That would be you would sign up for that. No, that would be awesome. Yeah, you did. That'd be awesome. Hank when you're right, you're right. That'd be awesome. Yeah, no, I would sign up for no, I don't even know if I would sign up for that. Oh my God. And no, I would sign up for that for a chance to win. Yeah, chance to win games. Yeah, because we all know I would. Max and think about it. You'd have strength in numbers. Your brothers would be there. Yeah. You could chip a team by the Delentes. Oh, a lot of partners and Jerry and Jerry. Yeah, big dom. And maybe big dom. Yeah, Max, this you have nothing to lose. Like nobody expects the Sixers to do anything. No, game seven would be sick. Did you see that step back three that Joel and B took? Yeah, you see it. The one where he took like six steps. That's just that's just the NBA. You don't know ball. That's all right. All right. All right. Have you seen this? Yeah, the one where WAP the three and Wemby's eye. Yeah, I saw it. You see this. It's very funny. I love the NBA. This is this is a bad take. This is a non ball now we're taking right here. Wait, so me that that just backfired so hard in your face. That was an awesome play from Joel. It's a great shot. Yeah, right in Wemby's eye. So we could have Sixers, Knicks is the other alternative. Very possible. Be great. Be great. That might not be great. Why? Because memes would just memes would go to a dark place with. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that would be great. Very beat up. Three games left. I'm just excited for the bachelor party. Yeah, he's left. He's an end Sunday. Season and Sunday. Damn. Wait, and then the live show in LA. Yeah. Oh, the play in game is yeah, then that week. Damn, they really got this sports schedule down. Great. We just go masters into playoffs. Mm hmm. They fucking nailed it. They really did. All right. Numbers. Two. Three. 78. 56. 8. 24. 72. 39. 10. 92. Anyone? One more. One more. One more. One more. One more. Everyone stick with their numbers. 10. 31. 31. Anyone? Fuck. We suck. Can't believe only one person's got this. You didn't accept it. You didn't take it. Happy birthday to Mattie Healy. Great, great entertainer. Big fan of everything you've done, Mattie. CD lamb. Everything? I don't know everything he's done. Everything? I don't know. Actually, I don't know anything that he's done. Is that the guy who dated Taylor Swift? Yeah. That birthday big justice. I think he's, I think he's got some bad things. Is he problematic? I think there's maybe some bad things. I know the Swifties didn't like it, but that also means. They don't like it. That actually means he's probably cool. Okay. To be determined, but happy birthday. Everybody deserves a happy birthday. Mattie Healy. Everyone deserves it. I really don't want to get to 420. Everyone has a special day. Hitler killed Hitler. So, happy birthday, CD lamb. Happy birthday to Joe Adele, the home run thief. Nice. Love you guys. Mattie. Is Mattie Healy, is he just a dick or is there some bad thing he did? I don't know. If he's just a dick. Yeah, he might just be a dick. Even dicks have birthdays. They deserve to feel special. Yeah. They had a brief, intense, romantic fling in May 20. I'm going to I don't know. I just saw the Swifties didn't like it, but I don't I actually think that probably means that I like them. Stand by real quick. I'm just going to call Matt Dogg and see if I should retract. And if she says yes, I will issue a formal attraction on the air. Okay. But she's a Swiftie, right? Yeah, so she'll tell me if he did anything really bad. Hey, Matt Dogg, you're live to tape on part of my take. Oh, hi. Mattie Healy, it's his birthday today. I wished him a happy birthday. Should I not do that? Mattie Healy is in the 1975. Yeah, is he not a good guy? He is not taken well in the Swiftie community. Oh, then we love him. Yeah. But he's just a good songwriter. Yeah. Fuck yeah. He is a good songwriter. I like his songs. I like the 1975. I don't think I like what he and he. All right. Yeah, good, good. Good. Shout out to Mattie Healy. Happy birthday, Mattie Healy. Come on, part my take. It's your day. Love you guys.
