Oh And legit I was you were yeah, but you did share that Your fifth child is having his tonsils out this week And it was very it was like a very old school because my generation gen X This was there was a whole Brady Bunch episode about this man This is a big deal and you get all the ice cream that you won and every kid got their tonsils up because you know tonsils aren't really necessary and then at some point doctors were like ooh Maybe God put these things in here for a reason. It was like yeah, maybe we shouldn't be taking kids tonsils out So it's actually kind of a rare procedure now. Yeah, what's what's going on there? So my generation too, I think a lot of people got theirs out. I got mine out And you really see you're younger than me. I I dodged the bullet. I never had them out I think my older brothers did I think there was actual medical reasoning I remember being told that they were the biggest tonsils They had ever taken out of a kid and they had to cancel the surgery several times because my tonsils were so big and I remember thinking well, but isn't that the point? Yeah, right? Aren't you supposed to take that? It's supposed to take them out if they're all big and swollen. Yeah, yeah But they were so big and swollen. I've always said that about you Bethany. You've got a big pair of tonsils. I know So they canceled the surgery multiple times because my tonsils were too big But yeah, no this kid he's had he's had He's had enlarged tonsils for several years and he snores so loud that we can hear it from another floor There's a lot on there. Yeah, and so we just we were concerned that he wasn't really getting adequate sleep and And I noticed so I had had the surgery Scheduled and I too am a tonsil truth or because of everything you just said and so my bar for Taking them out was really perhaps too high. I don't know maybe I over corrected And so I had the surgery scheduled for last year and I ended up canceling it because I just was tonsil truth ring too much I think and then I slept next to him When we were coming back from Israel and we took a very circuitous route around the world We spent a night in Athens the first night a night in Copenhagen the second night and And so I slept next to him and I listened to him and I was like, oh my god. How is he still alive? Mm-hmm, and he wasn't he clearly was not getting out looks like he doesn't have airflow these things are so man Man, that's crazy. He's gasping for air And it went from like I canceled the first surgery to this to I got home in and this was now three months ago I got home and I said can we do this like now and I had to wait three months. He's been prominent to say the least on Trying to push back on the redistricting listen Maps that were drawn have been rated as among the fairest in the nation That's what virginians want fair and now we see progressive democrats in richmond trying to overturn the will of the people and gerrymandered maps that are now being called the most gerrymandered maps in the nation And virginians don't like this. This is a bit confusing because they've been deceptive in the way that they have Undertaken this process. I believe it's been unconstitutional and I look for our state supreme court to rule on this You call it illegal and I think it's illegal. I think what they've done is violated the trust of virginians But also violated the process laid out in our constitution about how constitutional amendments are to be undertaken Yeah, it is illegal and I think frankly the Poweredly state supreme court didn't weigh in on this if they do after the election. Who knows they might say well, you know This probably wasn't legal but since the people the voters have decided or whatever. I don't know But but there's an element of this that needs to be pointed out and david marcus one of my favorite columnists did so It fox digital um This is about rich white liberals in fairfax county disenfranchising poor Many black Rural virginians downstate who have consistently voted republican.
