Summary

Club Shay Shay's Nightcap Hour covers sports commentary spanning NFL coaching dynamics, boxing debates, athlete compensation, and NCAA basketball controversies. Hosts discuss Quinshon Judkins' perspective on new Browns HC Todd Monken, Claressa Shields' controversial claim about beating male boxer Rolly Romero, Logan Paul's million-dollar boxing challenge to NFL players, and Lionel Messi's $70-80M annual compensation with Inter Miami.

Insights
  • New coaching styles significantly impact player perception and team culture; players respond better to communicative, player-centric leadership versus reserved, even-keeled approaches
  • Physical differences between male and female athletes in combat sports are scientifically insurmountable; confidence alone cannot overcome biological advantages in strength and power
  • Celebrity athletes entering professional combat sports lack credibility without facing legitimate competition; exhibition matches against non-fighters provide no meaningful validation
  • Star player compensation in sports franchises creates complex roster-building challenges, particularly when multiple premium players at the same position demand market-rate contracts
  • Coaching promises during recruitment differ significantly from actual implementation once players enter professional environments; initial enthusiasm masks true coaching philosophy

Sticking to the AFC North, Quinshawn Jenkins says new Browns head coach Todd Munkin has been a refreshing surprise. Ocho, let's take a listen to what he has. A couple different coaches over the past couple years. Have you heard from your new head coach Todd Munkin yet? bro i have and bro honestly like it's not what i thought it would have been like i thought he was gonna be like more so like because my past coach bro he was like really even kill bro like super quiet i thought i was going to get that from coach munkin but it wasn't that like he was like a real players coach bro like you know like give me a hug like all that bro so he was just super communicative of of what he wanted from the team what his goal is what his objective is what he want to come in and do and you know he knows exactly what he wants and he has a vision and i think that's what's important as a head coach and uh especially being vocal about it too i think that's what matters i respect the uh the cr i like that yeah could this be perceived as a shot at stefansky i wouldn't say it's a shot out of Stefanski, everyone has their coaching styles. Everyone has their approach and how they talk to players. Todd Munkin probably is a player's coach. Maybe he has a different energy about himself. And Stefanski carries himself in a much different way than Munkin does. And so, therefore, you will get different reactions when you have a coach that's somewhat mild-mannered, someone that's even keel, as he said, someone who's not very, very jubilant about their coaching style. And maybe Todd Munkin is just different. So for him, it's refreshing because it's something that he's not used to, being that he's just getting into the NFL. And that's all he's known so far during his short NFL career is what he saw from Stefanski. And now you get Todd Munkin, who's completely different. Different approach, a different way of doing things. So to him, that is refreshing. Yeah, they're going to do all the right things until they get your ass in there. And then watch how they behave. It's just like when you go to college. Oh, you're great. Oh, your son is unbelievable. Yeah, we're so glad to have oh, you know, they say your dream Johnson Get your ass over here Hello You're glad to have me over here. Hey, you don't like get my ass over here. Get light and run and all this Hey, listen a coaches when they first get to a team, huh? What are they like politicians boy? Oh, yeah Hey, they like politicians. When college coaches come to visit you at your house, politicians, boy, you get there, boy, they act like they don't even know you. Once they get you in the building, they good. Everything changes. Like you said, as a politician, they lie to everybody. So whatever story they done told you, they done told a hundred other guys that same lie. It's a nice script, too. Nice script. They just changed the name. Yeah, and plus, yeah, it's going to be Evie Kill. Until y'all don't win no games and then watch how much hell he raised. Oh, yeah. Because right now you're undefeated. You're undefeated right now. Yeah. Everybody's saying the right thing. Everybody's excited, and I get all of that. But guess what? They're going to pump them footballs up, and they're going to kick them off in September. Oh, yeah. You're going to have to play. You're going to have to play. The Eagles, a defensive tackle, Jordan Davis, has reached an agreement on a three-year $78 million extension, tying him to the Eagles for the next four seasons. The deal includes $65 million guaranteed and makes Davis the highest paid no tackle in the NFL. The number 13 pick in 2022, Davis was entering his fifth-year option season worth nearly $13 million. I've been very impressed with this young man. Yeah. He was phenomenal at his combine day. He was a phenomenal player at UGA. But to see what he's done to his body, the way he's taken it serious, the way he's gotten himself in shape, and the way he plays hard. Because at first, don't show, they just played him all. He's just a two-down player. Yeah. He's just a two-down player. Now he's turned himself in. He's gotten his body right, and he's turned himself into a hell of a football player. And he should have went to the damn Pro Bowl. Yeah. I forget who they took over him, but he should have went to the damn Pro Bowl. Because he had a hell of a season. You'll be told, he outplayed his teammate. Yeah. He was better than Carter this year, Ocho. Yeah, this year. Yeah, he was. He was. He was. And this also, Brother Lurie and Howie have done a great job over the years of striking while it's hot and early. Yeah. Striking while it's hot and early. But it also leads me to believe, are you really going to pay two D tackles? Then you have Cooper John. Then you have Deshaun. I mean, Keon Mitchell. Yes. Also coming up. So I'm curious what's going to happen with that. And with it being Jalen Carter, as good as he is, wouldn't he have to supersede that contract of – Yeah. Or am I tripping? Based on what he's done? Yes. Yeah. If I'm not mistaken, I think he's a two-time Pro Bowl player, an all-pro. Yes. Yeah. He'll probably get – he's going to get double what he got. Yeah. So have you ever seen a scenario where both D tackles are paid? No, I haven't. So that's what I was thinking. I mean, you see Dallas got a bunch of D tacklers that's making 20 plus million dollars a year. They got, what, three of them. Yeah. They got Quinny. And Kenny Clark. Or Diggy Zua. And they got Kenny Clark. Yeah. So no, I don't see a scenario. This is the biggest night in podcasting. The countdown is on to our 2026 iHeart Podcast Awards. I hate that we have to talk about stuff like this, Ocho, but here we go. What happened? Carissa Shields believes she beat Rolly Romero in a fight. Let's take a listen to what she told just a boy is there a male champion regardless of weight yep that you believe you i'd be roley he's a world champion roley ramirez listen it's not about i think roley is very unorthodox he's very strong right but i'm way taller than him way longer than him and got better boxing skills so how about one of his punches though did you not hear what i said it's hard for somebody smaller to hurt somebody that's bigger I walk around at 185 he fights at 140 or is it 47 he said 140, 147 but I'm just saying though with his skill set he can't be what you think huh no Ocho it's a man it is a man women stop this Clarissa we love you I've sat down and interviewed you we've had you on the show. Stop this nonsense. There is not a woman that when it comes to physical, UFC, boxing, whatever, if it's physicality involved, a woman is not beating a man. That's why they have women's sport. That's why they have men's sport. Can we stop this? Come on now. Man, I love Carissa. You do not beat no man. You know what I do like? You know, it's that confidence she has, being as brash as she is, making a statement like that is why she's one of the best, which is why she's the greatest of all time. Just a thought. You can do that and still not beat Ocho. No, I'm just saying. I'm not saying she can win. I'm just saying the fact that she even thinks she can is one of the reasons why she is great as she is. I don't feel he can beat me. Why? Because he's unorthodox. Why? Because I see the flaws in his fighting style. So I think if I do A, B, and C, I can win that fight. In hindsight, reality, for us, knowing you're not beating no man. No. You're not. Oh, Joe, she won't see the punch. You're talking about another. You're looking at it like a 140-pound woman hitting you. That's a 140-pound man hitting you, which would be the equivalent of a 200-plus-pound woman hitting you. And the way he can put punches together. Yeah, yeah. Oh, my goodness. No. And I don't want to see it. No, no, no. I love Clarissa Shields. And so, look, I'm not no hater, but I just know physics. And there's a reason. If that was the case on Joe, what sport that's physically involved that they allow women and men to compete together? None. There's a reason why. there's a reason why they and everybody's up in arms and rightfully so when we get these trans a man that says okay I'm a woman now or talking hormones no! You can't it's not possible it is not possible yeah oh my goodness I guess AJ Wilson is going to say well you know what in a one on one I can beat Shea or I can beat Luka I can beat Bam yeah hey and the funny thing about it is what roley can crack what yes but roley can crack where roley catch you with one of them one of them punches man man it's gonna be it's just it's just physically impossible right it's just physically impossible but think about it though think about the mindset just the fact that you even think you can in general just that That she has is why she's great at what she does against Her opponents in general Do you believe? 85 to 90% of the people believe they can be a tiger a lion a bear a silverback in a fight That's the my but you say you like mindset they say they can beat those animals in a fight. Yeah You have casual people say what what sport do you believe you can win a gold medal in? Do you actually got people that sit on their damn couch, eat popcorn, and watch the Olympics, think they can win an Olympic gold medal in a particular sport? Right. I have a positive mindset, but I'm not delusional. There's a fine line between confidence and delusion. That in and of itself is a damn skill. Yeah. Oh, my. Hey, so you think she's worse than me? What? But the thing is, I think I can obey. I can obey everybody. I can do anything. I can be Joe. Oh, it's not impossible. First of all, there's not a woman that's going to get into the ring and box a man. Sparring. What about sparring? Sparring because you got on hair gear. You got on big gloves. Ain't nobody trying to hurt nobody. Right. The same thing. Pretty soon y'all gonna say, you know what? Amanda Nunes can beat somebody in UFC. Y'all say the most ridiculous thing just to say it. But if you realize how ridiculous you sound, what woman you know gonna get, that is a man, a man. The first thing y'all say, man, you ain't got no business hitting no woman. And you getting a physical competition, Ocho, you in the ring? mm-hmm I just it's just you know what Ocho I feel the same way when they keep talking about man this college team could be the NFL team NFL team will score 100 points and you know what you know a team they always say they always say Alabama when Alabama is really good when Nick Saban said that they would be the Cleveland Browns and the Browns would put up 100 points on them boys you take Alabama's best team against the worst NFL team man they're gonna get slaughtered yes i'm just like i mean i mean first of all i don't even like being like when you just say stuff think about ojo yeah when they play golf the women don't hit from the tips why there's a reason why women are great there have been some great women athletes basketball, soccer, softball but there's levels and a man there's a reason why we separate it that's why we have you know volleyball for men, volleyball for women soccer for men, soccer for women softball for women, baseball for men that's why yeah you know what I think too what is I think in a sense regardless of what sport you play to be great for one you got to believe you got to believe in yourself you got to believe in your craft you got to believe in your skill you got to believe in the work you put in and I think you got to be a little delusional a little bit I think I get your prime example being delusional a little bit is a part of what makes you great at what you do even if you can't do it even when she was at her best they said Serena you think you can beat a man Serena flat out no not a 200 the greatest woman tennis player ever she said I'm not beating a 200th ranked man first of all you better hope you better hope you can get a serve in that's what you hope right but i don't know i don't know what clarissa just keep fighting women keep getting those big check paychecks beating hell out of women that's your claim to fame don't you like some don't let somebody gas you up to say i can beat a man well first of all they're not gonna sanction it you know they go you know they're gonna spar now you know you know they're gonna spar they're gonna spar they're they won't get in the ring, I guarantee you. Yeah, she said she sparred, and that's Ocho. I see her sparring men, yeah. Yeah but Ocho they not really trying Ocho Right Come on That like you playing your girl You playing Cambodia basketball You laughing. You ain't really trying. LeBron playing Savannah. LeBron playing Savannah basketball. Hey. No. But I'm just trying to figure out, you know what, Ocho? You think when they ask that question, she's like, Nah. She's like, I fight women. I can't beat no man. A man champion? Yeah. She ain't even said an amateur. Yeah. That's level. You look at women and women, like I said, the fastest track and field woman. High school guys run that time. Yeah. They do that. Oh, wait. Speaking of times, man, you see the young 16-year-old running 9-8? I saw that. He had a hurricane behind him, but okay. He still was scooting, though. But don't show it. I mean, these kids, they're kidding getting fast. I mean, you know, these kids now, I mean, hell, if you don't run – probably if you go to Texas. Right. If you don't run 10-3 in Texas, you get – if you don't run 10-3, you're not winning first place. You got to be sub 10-3. Yeah, that's crazy. These kids are running 10 flat, 9-99. That's crazy. Hey, he's flying. But you know how fast 980 is? I do know how fast 980 is. How has your body even developed that much with that kind of torque and that kind of power to be able to sustain that 400 meters at that young age? Your body's not even fully developed. Man, we moving on. There's somebody talking about, oh, she's the Olympic champ and she got weight on him. You can tell people that they don't really understand like fighting Ocho. Yeah. I mean, y'all, I tell you what, if y'all get an opportunity, I wish y'all could just, don't watch it on TV because TV, like, when you watch stuff on TV, it don't do it justice as if you're there. Go see it in person. Matter of fact, see it in person. Like, when you go to a UFC fight, Ocho, and you hear those cracks. Cracks, yeah. Or you somebody, like, when that guy, when that brother Johnson got hit, and you hear that shock, or when Regas came with that overhand and you hear that shot or you go to it and you see a guy how they put punches together. Yeah. Yeah. Then you're like, you know what? I don't think people understand. They don't. But Roley in general, if he catch up, Roley can punch. That's the one thing that he can do. He can crack. He can crack. He can crack whether it's unorthodox or not. whether you don't like his style whether it looks awkward whatever it may be that young bull can punch and people will never understand that until you see it in person because when you watch it from tv you're like well what the hell is this oh i could beat him how about how about this ojo clarissa spart a guy that roley ko'd but he knocked clarissa down with a check hook. So the guy that put Clarissa down is boring. I think I saw that. I saw that clip. I didn't mind the clip. Yeah. I don't understand. She said she a whoopee monk. Don't matter. Do y'all understand that them people's hands are lethal weapons? Well, you know, once you register that's uh that's that's a felony you touch somebody else yes yes you're going to jail but y'all don't realize y'all don't realize how fast like those punches when y'all see the recoil that man the punch clarissa going to keep making that money fighting women fight bomb gardener uh maybe hell i don't know maybe uh layla i'll leave layla bum bum gardener too small there's no way i know yeah bum gardener can't i mean carissa what she walked around at 185 i think she got down to what what she get down to this fight 155 165. yeah bum gone away at 135 i think yeah she ain't going down that low yeah that's impossible from 185 to 135 that's not even possible huh it's possible i don't know know what you're going to look bad to take that kind of weight off. Yeah, that's hard. Hell yeah. You won't have no damn strength to fight. Nope. Zero. No. I don't believe it. But like I said, the mere fact that people think they can beat a bear, a lion, a tiger, a silverback in a fight. People actually say that I believe I can beat them. Or I can win a gold medal and table tennis or i could win a gold medal in this table tennis yeah man man stop although remember the discourse remember the discourse about the uh 100 people in one gorilla you got to get 100 people you got to give somebody that doesn't care about their life because he gonna run through the first five or six yeah somebody after you after after you see him bite somebody arm completely off Or breaks him. After you see that, I get a prime example. You see Ocho, when people, it'd be about five or six guys, and they're going to jump this one guy. And he KO'd one of them, what do the rest of them do? Caution to the win. So he grabbed that first one. Then he going to see literally rip his arm off his body. Easy, with ease. Because that's what they do. I mean, you've got to realize they have the 10 times the strength of an average man. Yeah, yep. So whatever the strength of an average man is. So just think about it. If an average man can bitch 225, he bitched 2,000 pounds on you. That joke, think about it now. He ain't for six. He's six, six and a half. Yeah. 400, 450, all muscle. All muscle. Ain't got an ounce of fat on him. Yeah, don't nobody want none of that, man. Man, y'all see them joke how they be throwing? You see how they be hitting each other. And that's another 400, 450 gorilla. So what you think a 200-pound man going to stand up to that? I know you saw the clip. The whole world saw that clip. With a lady, she watching, she filming. They're in the zoo fight, talking about somebody getting there and breaking up. You can see the power. You can see the power in the video. And this lady talking about somebody getting in there and stopped him. What? They'll figure it out. Whoever getting his ass kicked better take off running. Because I... You know, they got zookeepers in there, but they ain't getting in and breaking that up. Absolutely not. Just like a polar bear or a grizzly, they get to fighting. Oh, well, they'll figure it out. Yeah, it's a wrap, man. It's a wrap. Man, please. Clarissa, don't you let them people fool you up to think you can be the man. We're getting closer to seeing Logan Paul and Le'Veon Bell, Locho. Yeah. My million-dollar open bet to fight an NFL player has caused an uproar. Here's an update. Nobody is willing to put a million dollars in escrow and be flown here to Puerto Rico, all expense paid, and box with three professional judges. They all want to formalize this with a streamer, venue, press conference, all that, i.e. get paid but not risk their own money. But I don't have time nor interest in that. I won't step away from WWE to coordinate and train for an event, but if any player wants to actually put up a million dollars in fight at my gym with official referees and judges, show yourselves that includes you, Le'Veon Bell. and hey I like that what you think it's gonna happen hey Le'Veon I might be able to get I come up with a quarter mil but I want 500 in return god damn are you are you like tell me the person that gamble that puts up 250 and then expect 250 back in return hold on what what happened damn you you Don King boy you Don King with it Le'Veon say this is what Le'Veon bro wants to spar and that's fine bro we can spar if that's what you want to do let's practice and for sure this is the biggest night in podcasting the countdown is on to our 2026 iHeart Podcast Awards live from South by Southwest March 16th we'll honor the very best in podcasting from the past year and celebrate the most innovative, talented creators in the industry. But you don't get credit for fighting somebody that doesn't fight. I mean, how much do you weigh? 175, 180? Go fight Benavidez. Go fight Benavidez. I mean, you're not no fighter. Ocho, I don't get credit in my prime for catching on a guy that doesn't play DB. Right, right. What credit does I get for that? So if you say you're a fighter or you want to fight, You need to fight somebody that fight. You know, Le'Veon has a background in boxing. So that would be a decent fight for both of them. You know? I agree. Both are skilled. Both are taking the craft of getting it. Taking it serious. Yeah. Taking it serious. But the better beat it. Better, damn. Better be a? Yeah. Oh, man. They'd kill him. Ojo, what NFL player? making 10, 15, 20 million dollars. They're not boxing in their spare time like that. No. And it's too much for them to risk. Yeah, they would, and you know, honestly, no matter who it is, is what, 1,500 players in the NFL? Yeah. They probably, I doubt they make it past two minutes, round one. Oh, for sure. I doubt. I don't care how, I don't care how. They don't know how to breathe. They're going to get in there and try to bounce because they see everybody else bouncing back and forth, and all you do is burning energy. It's completely different. Completely different. You don't train for that. Fight Bud. Not. No. You don't want to see him fight Bud? No, that's not fair. That's unfair. I think he thought that, you know, because of what he did with Floyd. I don't know how serious Floyd took it or anything like that. But, I mean, hey, I'll watch Le'Veon and Logan Paul fight. Yeah. I like it. I like it. So, I don't know. But I think the thing is he got hurt because Tom Brady. Called him out his name? No, he said he was cute. He said, you know, you do this cute. because he said he WWE. He was an outstanding athlete, things of that nature. Right. And you know, Tom, man, look, sometimes Tom forget that he Tom Brady. He gives you the artist's truth. And the truth coming from him is sting a little bit, man. Yeah, for sure. Because he's like, oh, that's cute. He said, but you're not an athlete. But I think, you know, in the WWE, I mean you watch him the way he moves oh yeah he could easily be a full time WWE absolutely he absolutely could he's phenomenal in there and like I said he and his brothers carved out a nice niche and they look he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he let us know you gonna make this happen, man. Call in the nightcap, we wanna see what's cracker lacking and see what's going on. Hey, me and Ocho might bea come down there. We might come down there and do nightcap live from Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico? Yeah. Okay, I like that. That's a short flight for me, huh? That's about what? How long the flight from- I don't know what Puerto, I don't know how close it is to Miami. Chad, how far the flight from- Who you think I am, Magellan? That might be right there. Chad, how long is the flight from Miami to Puerto Rico? What'd they say? Two hours? I'm still... Chad moving slow. It's definitely closer to you. Yeah, yeah, it might get, it's definitely, yeah. Hold on. Oh, it's only one hour. Oh, 45 minutes. Oh, yeah, it's only an hour. Flights to Puerto Rico, San Juan to Miami takes approximately 2 hours and 42 minutes to 3 hours covering a distance of 1,050 miles Dang, bro Budget carriers like Frontier and Spirit Airlines offer direct flights with fares starting between $60 and $150 See that? See Spirit? You see why Spirit is the greatest airline there is? You see that? Spirit take you right there. Puerto Rico, less than $150. Come on man That what I talking about Whole NICAP team on Spirit Nah I won be on Spirit I think Delta let me see if Delta go to Puerto Rico Why would you go on Delta and you just heard the good deals that Spirit has? My life ain't about no good deals. Spirit is the only airlines that never had any issues. Now we might have a fight or two. Yeah, see? As a matter of fact, they go right there. Yep. Delta fly directly to Puerto Rico. Mm-hmm. They got cheap flights, too. How much? Delta Alliance operates numerous flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, JFK, Minneapolis. So I would probably have to fly from Vegas to Atlanta, Atlanta to Puerto Rico. sound like a lot to me it's gonna be more than 150 dollars i got some miles i use my mileage nah you ain't got no miles on spirit oh i i i got miles i got i got this probably write your miles down on a piece of paper on a post-it note handed to you You got 550 miles. I got about, on Spirit, I probably got maybe 762,000 miles. Let me check my email. I got about, I should be close to about a week. What you fly mainly? American, Delta? Well, if it's me, like for me going somewhere, I'm on Spirit. Now work, like having to come here, is American or United. But that's not me buying. Now, if I'm flying out for work, they purchase what they see fit. That's going to get me in on time. Yeah. I'm going to have to use my mileage. I don't know where I can go to use them, though. Puerto Rico? I ain't using no damn miles to go to Puerto Rico. I would go somewhere. I'm going out of the country. Okay, okay. I'm going to see, type in where... Add chat GBT, where should I go? Where can I go with one million million million what? Sky Miles? Yeah. shoot you might want to see we can go to the dr we can go to mexico with one million frequent flies miles you can book a multiple around the world trips first class uh 10 to 12 hour flight return um you can go i can go to tokyo london in luxury Nah I'm telling you There's two blessed places for you to go Either we go to Mexico I ain't go to damn Mexico Use my airline miles for no damn Mexico The hell Or what about we go to Haiti What You never been to Haiti No I ain't never been to Haiti It's beautiful out there You use frequent five miles to go to Haiti? Yes. You wanna go to a place you've never been before. All that exotic stuff. There are a lot of places I ain't never been before. You been to Mexico? Yeah. No, you haven't. I have, we played a game in Mexico. That's not going to Mexico, that's for work. I'm talking about like, like going. No. I ain't been a lot of places. I let you come with me to Mexico. Like, we good. I want to take you to Warhead. We're not good. I want to take you to Sinaloa. No, I don't need to go nowhere. I don't need to go. I want to take you to Guadalajara. Nope. I don't need to go nothing either. I'm going to fly Qantas. I'm going to fly United Emirates, Qantas, and Singapore Air. Where you going? Somewhere where I can fly those. nah that sound like it's too far for me I gotta do some I gotta do some things nah nah but I I would definitely watch Le'Veon and Logan Paul fight I would yeah yeah absolutely for sure but I think the one guy some guy said he'd come down there and fight him oh yeah the lineman I forgot who was yeah yeah yeah you saw that too Yeah, whoever it is, not Deion Dawkins. It was someone else. I can't remember his name. But I saw him on the mitts. I saw him on the mitts. He good on the mitts? Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, Deion Dawkins was on the mitts. That was Deion Dawkins was on the mitts. It was another player, too. But if this player here, I think he retired. You think he was? Yeah, he said he beat hell out of Logan and his brother. no I ain't going no no no no no no I'm not going I'm not going any place that's that's close Dubai you know we got a whole lot on Dubai yeah yeah somebody was flying to Dubai I heard they had to turn the plane around for real yeah dude I wouldn't be flying in that airspace right now anyway hell no yeah now listen I told you the best place to go Ocho ain't no chat does anybody use frequent fly miles to go to puerto rico to go to mexico to go to haiti no you use buddy passes nah listen i'm i'm trying to get you to have the time of your life where you don't have to go that far you right there every whole objective i want to go far i just want you i just want you to see my country man that's all far from the prying eyes Yeah, I'm not saying this. Man, please. Add another chapter to UConn, Coach Dan Hurley's combative history with officials just as March Madness is approaching. Hurley was ejected from the fourth-ranked Huskies 68-62 loss to Marquette today after picking up two technical fouls with one second remaining. Hurley argued that his player was fouled while driving to the basket with the Huskies trailing 64-62. Hurley approached John Gaffney and got in his chest next to the official right shoulder while voicing his displeasure. Hurley said he never bumped Gaffney, though some replays suggest otherwise. Ocho? Yo. He was probably trying to, he looked like he was trying to jockey his team. You know, they have a good run, maybe get a one or two seed in the NCAA tournament. Yes, sir. frustrated say he was foul guy said no he wasn't foul I didn't see it so don't start me to lie in chat I gotta so chat if y'all saw it jump in the chat and say yeah he was foul or no he wasn't I mean but that's his history he's very he pick up text I mean he he animated yeah I think he from Jersey and you can tell he got that jersey is he bad as Bob Knight or not that ain't nobody bad as Bob Knight Bob Knight was cussing throwing chairs punching people punching coaches punching his own players oh oh that is funny in a Miami co-owner or I guess Jorge Moss Leonel Messi is paid between 70 and 80 million dollars a year yeah i told bloomberg that's the reason that i need to have sponsors and for them to be world class is because players are expensive i pay messy worth every penny but 70 to 80 million a year across everything mcdonald he get a mess you get a piece of everything huh yeah everything adidas uh apple sales, merch he gets a piece of everything obviously when we talk about Messi we talk about arguably the greatest soccer player to ever live ever and depending on who you ask most people would probably go with Messi and what he's done not only for Miami but helping grow the game down here in the states 70 to 80 million what Messi has done for the beautiful game down here in the States is not enough. It's not enough. I'm just going to be honest. He makes a lot, but it's not enough for what he's done for us here in the States and what he's done for Inter-Miami. You can't repay him for that. You can't. There's no amount of money. I don't know, Ocho. I might have took that Saudi money. You see what they're giving Cristiano Romano? Ronaldo? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sure they offered Messi a billion. I did. They did. I saw that. I'm a messier being. And listen, man, his wife was like, uh-uh. Not happening. Baby, stay right here. Baby, stay right here. I'll be right back. I'm sure the decision came down, you know, came down to her and it just to do. Like, uh-uh. No. Not on the back end of my career. We need to be somewhere nice. So, I mean, this was fitting. All right. We're going to get you out of here on this one. It's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. Jay 1984 out. What's good? Sorry for the loss. Duke complete domination. We're number one, but don't know what's going to happen in the tournament. Shaking my head. We hurt. Yeah, man, y'all put something on the Tar Heels tonight, man, but the best player was out. Caleb Wilson was out. So I'm not so sure, but man, man, Cameron Boozer, man. God dang. Nice, boy. Nice. I watched the Duke game tonight. He might be better than his dad. Yep. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. He's definitely better than his dad at the exact same age. Oh, he's better than his dad. I got a question. If you were to ask Carlos Boozer, can he be the son one-on-one, who do you think will win? I think booze might be a little old now Knees might not be able to hold I think booze Booze might be five years too late Right But at the exact same age Ain't no question he better than his dad Gary Peters Clarissa Shields will be Ocho in the ring Me too Ocho Man, I'm too sharp, man. I'm damn near like amateur slash pro. Hey, I'm going to be Joe Johnson in basketball. Let's focus on that. That's what we need to focus on. Joe going to get this work. Mark, one, two, three, one, two. I say, let her do it. Payne is the best teacher. No, they're not. No one is going to even sanction. We're going to even sanction that. They won't sanction it, but they will spar. I guarantee you that. Savoy, 21-42. Hey, Unc, you won't spar, Clarissa? Nope. Peter, Ocho want to go over there and see that Haitian dude. Man, that man, that Zogon. That's what he tried to get me to go. He want me to go to Haiti to beat up the guy that put all that on the girl. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Let bygones be bygones, man. Hey, that's funny. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy. Hey, fam, what's harder, winning a Super Bowl or maintaining a long-term relationship? Well, that's a good one right there, bro. That's a great one. That's a good one. Because if you look at the statistics on what it's like to maintain a long-term relationship, hell, a long-term marriage as well. That's very difficult. That's very difficult. I've never been married. I've been in a long-term relationship. And I'll say this. Both require immense sacrifice. immense yeah I think the thing is I think it's harder to win a Super Bowl because when you're dealing with a person one on one you have to sacrifice they have to sacrifice but when you talk about a team you talk about 53 sacrifices so many different people have to sacrifice so feet to the metal I'd probably say I'd say Super Bowl but neither is easy not at all damn that's a damn good question and them long term relationship because hey you grow and sometimes you don't grow together you grow apart and the thing is is that like I said in a relationship you need two people to sacrifice. Quarterback got a sacrifice. Running back got a sacrifice. Wide receivers got a sacrifice. And you got so many people that got a sacrifice. It's difficult. Very. Brandon Crowe. Oh, why didn't you bring Ocho tonight? He been wanting to hang out with you. Ocho had a prior engagement. Oh, yeah. I had to do. I had to officiate. a wedding tonight. So therefore, I'm going to let Unk slide on this one. I asked you, did you want to go? You said no. I did? Yeah. If it was boxing, I would have went. Deshaun underscore show, Unk, if Kobe had a franchise like LeBron, when he came in the league and didn't get hurt, he would have had more points. LBJ never averaged more than 30. actually did he averaged 31 but that's nothing here or there you see if he was handy if he was capable he would have been handy one guy was drafted late lottery the other guy was the first number one overall pick one guy came off the bench the other guy never came off the bench you can't say if there's a lot of ifs there will be Brandon Roy if he doesn't get hurt how great would he have been we can't do ifs we have to do with what we know No hypotheticals, just what we know. It's okay, guys. You can love Kobe without trying to dump on LeBron. You can love LeBron without trying to dump on Kobe or Jordan. It's okay. It is fine for you to like a player and say, man, hey, I really like Kobe. Okay, fine. But LeBron is a good player also. LeBron is a great player also. It's also okay to say, you know what? I love LeBron. LeBron bad boy. But that Jordan and Kobe, there wasn't nothing to play with either. It's okay to do that. But somehow we've been, if you like one, you got to hate or despise the other or try to create an argument. I don't. Okay. You don't like LeBron? Okay, fine. You like Kobe? Okay. but LeBron greatness is really to be unquestioned The longevity in which he played with and played at that level to have a prime that lasted two decades to average 25 points a game for 20 seasons. It's crazy. It's crazy. Yeah. But Kobe was great also. Lee Mason, what Olivera did to Max is what Debo would do to Ocho. No. He would piece him up too. Hey, I'm finna stick and move and have Debo frustrated because he can't grab me. That ain't happening. Vontae Lewis, 501. But, oh, you listen to, you listen, okay. Oh, what you listen to when you watch sports? Nothing. Silence. I don't listen to anything. I'm really, I'm focused. I'm tuning in. When I go to the gym, I don't have headphones on. I just want to hear my breath. I just want to hear me breathing. I want to hear the weight clanging. I just want, that's what I listen to. But when I'm watching sports, I don't listen to anything. I just like track and field. I want to hear track and field. I want to hear. I want. I love to hear that call. I love to hear what I'm talking and all that stuff. But football, basketball. Silence. Yeah. Nick Mars. Oh, it's about time to garnish. Oh, your wages. Only way you go to get that fifty nine hundred. You might be right, man. Y'all might be right. Gold standard. Michael Jordan is the goal. He's six and old in the finals. No game seven played in a physical type in the NBA when LeBron went four and six in the finals. Jordan is a go. Okay. That's your opinion. You entitled your opinion. For you, Jordan is your go. Some people, it's Kobe. Some people, it's Russell. Some people, Kareem or Magic, Kobe. JJ Carver, 80. Ocho, y'all peep the Arnold Classic this year. Andrew Jack, I did see that. Number one spot, Hottie Choupon. Should have gotten number two. It was Don't See and Ronnie up there still pretending to say, long live the king. Yes, Andrew looked good. Now, this is the best I've seen Andrew Jack look. I thought Nick Walker came in. This is the best I've seen Nick Walker look. He brought a more complete package, looked better. He looked much, much better than he did at the Arnold last year. This was the best package that I've seen. But Andrew Jack, he was full. He was shaped. Everything just looked really, really good. I'm anxious to see what Samson doubted, what he looks like. He's gotten up to 340 pounds. I don't know why he wanted to get that big to strip it all the way down. I just think he over-dieted last year, and he flattened out. but he has the best package. When you look at it from the front and you look at it from the side and you look at it from the back, he's a large man. He has a nice physique. Derek, I know everybody likes Derek, but I don't love Derek's physique. He's not hard. He's not grainy. He just looks like a guy that typically walks around at the gym. I see guys who look like Derek Lutz all the time. and that's not a knock. Congratulations. He's a two-time Olympia. And there are very many guys that can say that. But you're talking about somebody that has followed the sport for an extremely long time and seen the greats or the greats compete from, you know, I started following when Lee Haney was winning the Olympias and the Vince Taylors and the Sean Rays and the Flex Wheelers and obviously the Roddy and the Chris Camere, the Dexter Jackson, the Jay Cutlers, all of those guys. Muhammad Buzina all those yes yes yes all of those guys all those yes Phil be in the comments Phil be watching the show heavy boy Phil Heath he be in the comments Phil from Denver no Phil like I said I mean like I said people look and I know a lot of the judges because like I said I used to go to the shows I used to go to Olympia I go to Olympia now but I used to go to the Arnold I went to the Ironman Chicago Ironman I go to the NPCs. I'm sorry. This, this, uh, today's bodybuilder can't touch the old school. They don't have that. And I don't know, Ocho, I think it's a situation where guys, they use more machines. Right. It's that barbell that gives you that hard, grainy look. Right. Because all the auxiliary muscles have to come in play. When you're just doing a machine, Ocho, the auxiliary muscles don't come into play because everything is balanced out. When you look at those old guys, you look at those physiques, and you tell me you don't see a difference. The hell you say? Gold standard, MJ was defensive player of the year, which truly makes him the GOAT. Okay. Okay, guys. Yeah. You know what? If he played now, he'd have to have a 60-20 triple-double. Y'all good? King Entertainment. This is your boy, Kel. My birthday was the seventh. Can I get a shout-out? Ocho, listen to my mixtape. Absolutely, King. I mean, Kel. Happy birthday, bro. Happy birthday, my boy. Ocho, you say he said you got his mixtape. Take a look at that. All right, all right, all right. No, I mean, bro, he won the show today. He looked really good. Now, you got to realize there have been very few people that can have a physique like Ronnie, like Phil. I mean, Phil had those – Phil's body was like Flex Wheeler. Had those round belly muscles and tremendous from the front. But the back is where you won. You go back and look at the Olympians. You look at Lee. You look at Ronnie. You look at Phil Heath. You look at guys, Mike Metzger, you assume ever knew. You look at those guys. They had backs. Yeah. Everybody's not going to be like that. And you have to understand that I do. Andrew Jack won. No matter what you think about him, he didn't look good. No, ain't nobody going to have, nobody is going to have the thickness, the fullness that Ronnie, because Ronnie was a power lifter. So all those deadlifts that he did built up those chain muscles, those spinal erectors, and it looked like that. You're going to be hard-pressed to find somebody that had the detail that a feel he'd had, especially on those small belly muscles. You've got to be born with that. What Andrew Jack won? Hey, dude, it's huge, huh? Who, Andrew? Yeah, man. Yeah, yeah. Golly. You look good. Oh, he look good. He look good. He did. You look at his delts. Nice abs. But like I said, I mean, bro, everybody's going to have a weakness. There's not been a complete bodybuilder. where he had, oh, he had the best chest, best calves, best this, best that. Hey, I think I'm going to be an IBF pro, man. What you think? Nah, you're too late now, bro. Who? It's too late. And you can, first of all, you're not going to, it's too late, bro. I don't care how much supplementation they give you. it ain't gonna work I could just I do the physique what's the category physique yeah I could win that right now oh with the boring shorts you're still not gonna win but hey I'm chiseled I look like a sculptor you know the Grigog sculptures I'm built like that with no shirt you need to go see those guys and then you'll get a sense like damn yeah I didn't see I didn't I didn't see them in person and first of all you eat Waffle House too much you nothing to die down and get like I stop I stop if I know I'm competing I'm three months out I'm good oh you you will understand till you see me all right I'm away I'm away to the summer when the summer come you I'm gonna hit the beach I'm gonna hit the beach in my speedo oh yeah yeah you just can't wear the board shorts just wear the board shorts you don't gotta wear no speedo oh i mean you okay my european trunks no just wear board shorts no like you a surfer i'm with my european trunks huh oh because i need i need macaws macaws and my calves to show oh you ain't got no calves oh oh yeah come on man you be playing man play look at these calves bro look at them things huh i've seen bigger legs on a piano Hey, look at these cats, huh? This man here. Yeah. Dolo the villain. My brother Kendall is battling cancer. Can y'all send him some love and prayers? Absolutely. Kendall, bro. The family here at night, Catman, want to wish you the best, speedy recovery. Stay prayed up. We're praying for you, so make sure you and the family is praying for you as well, man. I'm sorry to be going through this, but we know you can persevere and you will overcome. God bless. Jack Buss 13. Hey, Ocho, how y'all feel? Tennessee, oh, how about Tennessee and who you feel they should draft? Love y'all. Tighten up. I mean, Tennessee, they need a receiver. Why? Yeah, you get the word right out of my mouth. Obviously, Calvin Ridley coming back off injury. I'm not sure how that's going. I'm sure he's going to be able to get back, but they need a receiver. They need another dog. I'm not sure what pick they're picking at. They're picking high up, for sure. Yeah, I would love for them to get another receiver. They need it for Cam. J5107, I'm 62180. I think I can take on a small silverback easily. You can't even be the chimpanzee, let alone a silverback. Boy, a chimpanzee hell too now. That's what I just told him. He could take on a small silverback. There's no such thing as a small silverback. Because first of all, I think a silverback has to be about 12 years of age before they get that colored hair on their back. And only the, yeah. If I'm not mistaken, I think they have to be about 12 years of age before they start getting that coloration on their backs. and I ain't never heard somebody oh that's a small silverback uh no and at 6'2 180 you ain't beating a chimpanzee first of all you not even beating a female hey he might not beat a panda no no no no he ain't beating a panda pandas are mean as fuck pandas they are? yeah hell yeah They so clumsy and fun. Okay, clumsy. Okay, that's what you think. Okay. The zoo done got y'all food. How they be, hey, they be doing all stuff for tricks and all that. And them sea lions come up there and they clapping. Okay. Okay. Juice 1976, Uncoach Your Team. Y'all keep outworking these boys. They mad y'all beating them in their own space. That's what we do. That's what we do. Teddy Hart, 29-13. Why does Amazon Prime show up the NBA game call themselves Nightcap? They call the NBA show and the NFL show that. But y'all know who the original Nightcap is. Often duplicated. Imitated, but never duplicated. They can't do what we do. 101. Tim's Bed, 76-18. Ocho, what y'all think about the competition in the AFC North? Max, Miles, TJ. What you thinking, Ocho? It'll be crazy. It'll be crazy, but listen, we just saw a team last year in the AFC North with a bunch of names on it, you know, on paper. You would have thought they would have been the dominant defense in the Steelers, and they didn't look anything like the names or like we thought they would look like, but Max Crosby is Max Crosby. He is everything as advertised. So he's definitely going to make the Ravens defense tremendously better and be impact right away. Don't forget to spring forward now. What? Spring forward. Set your clock up an hour. Oh yeah, you know I got an iPhone. You know it says itself. Oh yeah, I got an iPhone, you know. So I'm just making sure. So that means we lose an hour of sleep, huh? That's what that means, Ocho. That's fine. That's fine. I go to bed early anyway. You gain an extra hour of daylight, though. Yeah. Listen, as a medicine, a brother of the cloth, I'm okay.
