Summary

The Viall Files covers Summer House's dramatic love triangle involving West, Amanda, and Sierra, alongside NFL scandal coverage featuring Diana Rossini and Mike Vrabel, McBee drama with abusive language allegations, and an interview with Selling Sunset's Sandra Vergara about transitioning from entertainment journalism to reality TV real estate.

Insights
  • West Wilson demonstrates calculated emotional manipulation by maintaining ambiguous boundaries with multiple women while using confessionals to control narrative and deny responsibility for his actions
  • Amanda's decision-making appears driven by fear of aging without achieving relationship goals rather than genuine connection, evidenced by cognitive dissonance between her public support of Sierra and private pursuit of West
  • Reality TV creates perverse incentives where toxic behavior generates viewership, forcing cast members to choose between authenticity/health and relevance/employment security
  • Bravo men exhibit patterns of emotional abuse including public humiliation, controlling narratives, and dismissive language toward women, with enablers often excusing behavior as 'breakdown' rather than character
  • Sandra Vergara's entry into reality TV from traditional entertainment reveals the genre's accessibility but also the cultural gap between scripted/hosted work and unfiltered reality documentation

I'm your host, Nick, joined by my wife of two years and two days. Okay, period. Yeah, we did it. We did it. We did it. Two years and three weeks and four hours. We really did it. But who's counting? Yeah. We also have a couple of other people who are in the same team. We have a couple of people who are in the same team. We have a couple of people who are in the same team. Yeah. We also have the household with us, Mary, Justin, sweet boy Justin, Sierra is with us today. We got so much to talk about. We have a new, an updated episode of Summer House certainly to get into. It's activating everyone, including Lindsay Hubbard who has also had an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. And she definitely showed up. It was a lot of fun. Also this episode, after we get into all things, Summer House, Ganda, we have Sandra Vergara. She is the sister of Sophia Vergara. And she's also a star of Selling Sunset, a relatively new cast member. And I'm just like always as fascinated by the stars that families have. And there is such a separation between reality TV star and as we refer to real stars, it's just an interesting dynamic. But we get to know Sandra later this episode and you will be glad that we did. She's such a fascinating person. And again, I know many of you are fans of Selling Sunset. And I think we just have a lot of questions about what's the future of the show. And hopefully Sandra can help us answer some of those. We got some other scandals going on in the universe of reality TV and the NFL, which I assume a lot of people who listen to the show have, you know, maybe you're an NFL fan, maybe you're a man in your life as an NFL fan, but that is a scandal that honestly, Sierra, I'm guessing you don't know about it. How did you know? It really puts command to shame in terms of like... Yeah, there's like maybe a child out of what luck involves. There's paternity speculation. There's playlist. Is this the woman who like named her baby after her, the guy she's going to fare with? Well, we don't know for sure. A legend. I mean, she gave him the same name. Yeah. To break it down once again, really quickly, we have Diana Rossini, a very accomplished NFL beat writer. She worked for ESPN. She covers like breaking news for the NFL. Recent pictures with her and Mike Rable, the head coach of the New England Patriots, formerly the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. And it was speculated they had a recent affair of some kind. Some photos that were put out on the internet that showed some recent canoodling. And now as the internet has picked up on it and has gained a lot of attention, now you're going back and discovering that this is probably a relationship that's been maybe going on for years, five, six plus years. Old photos of them like Ian Kozien at the bar. In between that time, she gave birth to a baby boy named Michael. Mike Rable is the man in question that she's had this alleged affair with. She also tweeted, you know, I said this on a two days episode, she tweeted something just sitting here with my four-year-old, four-day-old baby wondering what other like famous NFL head coaches and players are named Mike, which really gives. She's cryptically trying to tell the world that like, this is this is another man's baby. I don't like it's maybe it's just all just a coincidence. I don't know. And then like, I think it was yesterday, someone found a Spotify playlist. Can we, I have the playlist up if we want to go through it. So give me the deal because like, she's only shared it with a person named Mike. Was that, was that what it was? Yes. So basically, Diana Racini made a Spotify playlist called Turn In The Page. Turn In One Word, No G, Ending On The End, the page that she shared with a user named Mike on December 19th, 2022, which just so happens to coincide with a four game Titans losing streak. He was head coach of the Titans for at this time. The Spotify playlist you got. You got people picking apart the playlist. There's that. So she's like trying to give him some like motivational advice of like, you got to turn the page, babe. Yeah, it's like, cuff it, big energy, break my soul, house party, you know, raise your glass by pink. I'll hold to your wife. Can't stop red hot chili peppers. Welcome to the Jets School. Can I have a question for Mary and Justin? Oh, maybe a question for you, too. But like I come from the generation where we would make play. We would burn CDs and make playlists for our our our crushes and our lovers. And it was a thing. And Diana is around my age. Is that something you all still doing for each other? My answer to that, Nick, is if you have to ask someone to make you a playlist, that's not love. If they're making you a playlist without you asking. For sure. But are you guys doing that? Because that was definitely a thing. When I was like out there in my early teens and late in my 20s. It is to be honest from in my personal experience, the amount of psychological warfare I have committed on people. That's crazy from the playlists I have made for them. All like, I because I'm so intentional about every single thing. I'm a psycho when it comes to making a playlist. So yeah, people are still doing it. Well, now your playlist private, because a lot of people don't know that if you know someone's Spotify username, you can see all of the playlists that they've made. Minor public on purpose. Leaked. And do we know how do we know? Like, is it is it Mike Vrabel's playlist? But how do we know it's connected to a mic? How does that work? Can you see if it's shared with someone? Usually, if you have Spotify open, you can. I I'd never seen that if it shared with someone. It's my understanding that the internet has connected it to a guy named Mike, but not necessarily Mike Vrabel himself. I mean, it's a well, this looks like a collaborative. Honestly, what is looking like? I'm not saying it's not him. I'm just I honestly, this is like a technical question of like, for someone as famous as him. That sounds like Diana being like, guys, no, this is for my cousin, Mike. She has since the lead of this playlist, by the way, once it was discovered. Of course she has. Of course she has. Of course she has. Maybe she sent it to one of the other Michael she was asking about in the tweet with the NSL. So true. She was like, wait, guys, I need to share this with the mic. Who I'm sitting here with my four day old. And also guess what? Like so famous, famous other correspondents in the NFL, Mike and Mike in the morning. So it could have been either of them. I don't think she was asking for correspondence. I think she was asking for players and head coaches. And this was 2022. So four years ago. That's four years ago. Anyways, we got, you know, she's married. They got kids together. He's married. I mean, compared to Scamanda, where you got like a situation ship that's two years old and a married couple that is separated, but not divorced. And like, I mean, we'll get in the episode, but like, this is the first time I really felt for Kyle and that him talking about the lack of responses from Amanda is like was jarring. That was that was wild. Anyway, we'll get into that. Also, have you guys seen this whole like MacBee dynasty drama going on? Nuts. Yeah. Like in and out. It's insane. Every hour, there's another thing as well. Like, I feel like I, I mean, it started yesterday or the day before that, but he like randomly posted on his Instagram story alleging that his girlfriend has was cheating on him at stagecoach and like was posting how he's gotten DMs and he's gotten these calls and he was like, I literally left her yesterday to come home. And now I'm being told that she was like cheating on me all night, like grinding on some guy. He posts a screenshot of a video that someone sent him of her and a guy, I guess. Is this a video that you showed me? Yeah, he just posted a screenshot of it. He didn't post the actual video, but he posted like the message along with the video from a fan being like, hey, are you still dating this girl? Because she was like grinding on this guy all night and blah, blah, blah, blah. Here's the video of it. And then he posts like while I'm up at the gym at 4 30 in the morning, she's at an after party, like just these are all in his stories. Then he posts a reel and he's like, I just want to apologize to like my family and my friends and my business associates who saw me kind of like crash out on my stories. I just was like so taken aback and I couldn't believe what I was hearing and what I was seeing and like she's just the type of person who. Keep in mind, this is him allegedly like coming down from this like alleged freak out. Yeah, he was saying that he's like a birerling crash out this morning. Like this is his rational version of him. Yeah, now he's giving like more details and he's like, you know, I just was really not. You know, I don't know. She's really just the type of person who cares about every event and she's just such an attention seeking person and like she's definitely not a housewife. She's a horrible person. I was like, I couldn't when I was listening, I could not believe that I heard that because like I don't. Does he clearly he's is this a joke or something? Is it like he's not being that cryptic? It was there was like a two second pause between whore and a bow person, which like I was just like, what is he, you know, and then on a reel, on a reel, on a reel. On a reel. I'm like that part. You want that solidified? I'm just like, it's giving like fourth grade. Like you're a whore, it will person like, OK, child. Yeah, unless you're from the unless you are in New Jersey Housewife or a Rhode Island housewife and you're from the East Coast, you can't say whore. Thank you. Anymore. Sorry. So he posts this whole reel and everyone is kind of like, oh, my God. I think honestly, he had support from Kyle Cook. He had support from Kristen Dodie. He had support from a few other people and I they must have. I did you guys just listen the first 15 seconds or did you miss the part where he said the word whore? They must have missed it. Must have. I'm going to have to give that. At that point, it was a one sided story to those. So they were just saying like a little bit of it, not the full. For sure. Yeah. But here's what doesn't add up. All right. First of all, like, OK, fine. If your girlfriend cheated on you at a concert, like again, not justifying any type of language speaking to women like this, but we. If you want to give this man grace and say he had like a breakdown from like just being his heart ripped out and and for the first time, seeing her as a different version of what he saw her, then then, you know, again, you're not justifying it, but maybe you could at least give him some grace. But in this video, in this reel, he's just like talking about someone he clearly fucking hates. He's talking about how she's like a low like how she's superficial and she's going. Well, if you thought of if this is what you think of your girlfriend, but it's also so crazy because this is the video where he's like being like, oh, my business associates saw my stories. And so now this is where I'm going to like clear it all up. And like, do you think he posted the unedited version? You know, like he meant it to be the first part and then accidentally posted the full part of it. Well, I saw that people are like were DMing him or posting about him calling her a horrible person. And he's like in his DMs, they're posting screenshots. He's in his DMs being like lies. I didn't say that. I said horrible person. I just had like I just had a brain fart. I just he gave like a look to the camera like a wink. It was like, I'm funny. Like, you can't walk. No, you're not your misogynist. I mean, and I don't want to be judgy, but I'm just like, I guess in my what I'm so confused about is like, isn't his whole show like about like the family and like what not? Like, did you not have like friends or family that you could run to and talk to about this before you took it to the Internet? That's what's so great. And in this video, he's saying that like he, you know, hadn't heard from her. And he's like, I told her to call me and she like hadn't called me. So everyone has been a stage coach. A lot of people don't have reception there. It's kind of fucking crazy. Yeah. Wait, are you are you telling me that the first time that the girlfriend or the ex-girlfriend has heard all of this is via this real or social media? Yeah, that's so gross. So then then she, Ali was his girlfriend. And she comes out on her Instagram and posts kind of a long statement. And she's saying like, it's very disappointing to get on social media and see that like he took it there before having a conversation with me. Like we have not spoke. We did not speak. He just like got on his Instagram stories, got on his reel, like made all these videos. We haven't even had a chance to like talk about what this video is or was. Like he just went and did this. Also, I've protected him so many times in our relationship and blah, blah, blah. And she's kind of like, here is I'm going to post the video since he did it. And I will let all of you like, you know, decide for yourself, decide for yourself. And she posts this video. And when I tell you, I was like, I must have missed something. Let me go back. I'm like, did I did it skip or did I did I slow it down? Did you did my phone? Did you get binoculars? Did I look at it? At one point, there is a guy seemingly standing in front of her and then he turns around and then like she whispers into his ear. Keep in mind, they're at a concert. Yeah, it's loud. With hundreds of thousands of people around. Can we see what she's whispering? Can we get like a lip reader up in here? No, no, no, it's like from far away and clearly this person like tries to move the camera when she starts to whisper because they think like, oh, they're going to like actually do some make out. And also in her statement, she was like, I was with like a group of friends of mine, he was with this group of friends. This person in question is someone I've known for like forever. He's like a family friend. And then she posts like the screenshots of his text messages to her. Steven's text messages. Yeah. Yeah. And they are actually so insane, like calling her like a hooker and a whore and like fly right here, change your flight, come get your shit. You stupid whore. I can't like use crazy, crazy, crazy messages. And it's just like the fact that we have just another bravo man, like clearly being this very toxic. It's like a tale as old as time. Yeah. It's crazy. He's like the main guy on McPhee too. Stop dating these bravo men. I'm honestly shocked that we, we, that's not the discourse that's going on regarding this topic about like this guy. And we throw words around like emotional abuse so flippantly these days, you know, it's just like if someone yells at you, it's like, oh, they were emotionally abusive. Like this is again, abuse is about a pattern. So I don't know. Maybe this is a one off. I don't know. But the what you saw in these videos of him trying to be funny and his like, hey, I've calmed down now video. And then we see screenshots of him just like repeatedly. Rating her. Rating her. It seems like a pattern. Then you have his ex-girlfriend come out and she posts kind of a statement saying like, guys, this, this is also what I went through. Like this is something that he does. These are words that he uses. Like so clearly this is a pattern. This is who he is. But it's just like, it's just, I mean, I guess I'm not. Why am I surprised that? I mean, you have to be very like comfortable calling women out of their name. Like that, as I said, to take it to the internet in such a manner. So fast with no thoughts. You know what I mean? And then you have an ex-girlfriend. Yeah, like you have an ex-girlfriend coming out being like, nope, that, that's 100% checks out. Like I'm like, this is this man's character. It's authentically him, which is the sad part. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's just a pattern at that point. And that's who you are as a person. And if you can't like look at that situation and be like, this is something like really messed up about me and my psyche. And maybe I should like try to fix that. But I am just surprised that the way the internet will still like buy his explanation. And maybe it's just the women hating women like misogyny. Yeah. But it's just more like people are more focused on like, is she a party girl? Did she, you know, just like, are you fucking kidding me? Why does that matter? And again, like if you've known who this person is, then why is she your girlfriend? Like, you know, like all of a sudden it's an issue. Like it sounds like you don't like each other. Well, anyways, that's crazy. Coming up next, we have Sandra Vagara. Certainly, if you are a selling sunset fan, you know who she is. She is one of the most recent cast members of Selling Sunset. She's also the sister of Sophia Vagara, one of the biggest actors out there right now. We have her on. What a fascinating person. It was so much, so much fun. She's like kind of getting into reality TV. Like also she has that kind of classic Vagara voice, which something about it. There's this like, say more. She's so cool. Right. You're just like talking. It tickles your brain. Yeah, she like was she she was like making eye contact with me while we were talking. I was like, I could listen to you speak for hours. She's a genuine human too. Yeah, the genetics too are so strong. So strong. Anyway, she's she is coming up next. And then obviously we're going to get into all things summer house. The most recent episode was jaw dropping as they all seem to be these days. Lindsay Hubbard was on Watch What Happens Live. And there's so much more even to get into and break down and discuss. Obviously, we're big reality TV fans and you are part of Selling Sunset, but it's really just excited to get to know you a little bit. Obviously, like a lot of people know who your sister is and then know you through your sister, but it's exciting to get to know you a little bit better. Now that you have been a part of the Selling Sunset cast. Yes, here I am. I'm curious, like, you know, before you were on the Selling Sunset cast, you know, you've worked in entertainment, you worked as an in-e-new correspondent. You've done some acting as your own. I come from like the reality TV world. That was kind of my origin story. And then like a lot of people like myself who get like that opportunity, you know, I've tried acting, I've done the hosting, you know, we there's a lot of reality TV stars like kind of make a transition to more like call it traditional entertainment. Right. I am curious for someone who kind of started in the more traditional space, what was the appeal to you to say yes to a reality TV show like Selling Sunset? That's a great question. So yes, I was an entertainment journalist before a TV host, talk show host, and I had done some acting, but like my favorite role has always been sort of like presenting and like playing myself is what's for me. It's here, I guess. Yeah. I find myself very unfiltered and direct. And so I was going through a really hard breakup in the end of 2024. And then I meant to meet with Netflix for like a general meeting to host their live events and some of their, you know, non scripted, but not necessary reality shows. And the casting directors like, are you into real estate? And I'm like, no. And then I said, but my family and friends for years have been telling me I need to do real estate that I'd be amazing at it. So and so it's crazy that she said that, right? So she's like, OK, just please do me a favor, meet with Don and Don, the production company for the show called Selling Sunset. I've never, I had never seen it before. I hadn't watched a reality show before this. I kid you not. I mean, I've seen glimpses of the Kardashians, but have I sat down and watched a reality to be shown ever? Not really. And so I was like, OK, right? So I met with them and they're like, they loved me and they're like, would you be willing to get your license and like, you know, do this? And I'm like, fuck it. You know, it's a challenge. So I'm like, let's go because I needed that. I needed that opportunity, in a sense, because it was something so challenging and different for me to get out of my heartbreak. So I just saw it as like the perfect thing to get me out of my head, to get me out of the moment. And so I did it and I went for it. And, you know, I go in brand new and all these established realtors, you know, brand new to reality TV world, brand new to the producers, puppeteering. It was crazy. So you actually got, I mean, there is no plan around. You actually have to get your license. Hell, yes. So you they were like, if you want to be on the show, you got to like do some homework, you got to study. Well, of course. And I wanted to get my license. If I do something, I go all in. I don't have ass, you know, my full ass. So I. So I am like done. Somebody takes time. So like we were meant to shoot like in two week notice. So you're not going to get your license immediately. So I started doing the process and I got my license maybe like two months after we wrapped. So in that season nine, I couldn't really show property, but I could co-list with my fellow agents. Got you. And then I got my license. So, yeah, it was it was a wonderful experience. It was a shit show, but also a great experience. Because, you know, it helped me. What was the most surprising thing for you finishing filming that your first season in terms of like what your expectations were versus like what the reality was filming with your cast members? So I like, I'm like, I'm not really going to watch the show. And I'm just going to go in, you know, fresh. And then like by episode two, I'm like, oh, no, I'm watching this. And so I watched some of it and like not from the season one, I watched from like six to eight, which was the cast that I was with. And you know what? Everybody was really nice. And my favorite person was, well, no, not my favorite, because others are going to be like, wait, what do you mean? But I really love Jason. And I honestly thought he'd be a douche and he is the opposite of a douche. Like he is not douchey. He was so respectful. He was so like helpful and like offered me guidance and like just exactly what you need starting a new job, right? And super respectful. Maybe I'm not his type, but he did not hit on me. And and and the girls were great, you know, there were some there were some cattiness, but like just like in every place, you know, you did. You're the new kid in school. You're going to get bullied somehow. But I don't I made a lot of friends, honestly. Can I ask you about your experience with Crescelle? Yeah, my experience there was kind of bizarre because I truly didn't really get to meet her because I suppose she comes in super, super guarded. And I found out later on that apparently they set her up that way. As to like people that come in there sort of like put people against her or something. And so she's already coming in pretty exposed with these like trusting stuff. OK, so my experience was like odd. And then, you know, and then she said, I keep the. Yeah, that was that was crazy. Because I was like at first I'm like, what are you talking about? And then as I'm driving home after that that scene, I remember the license and I'm like the name of the person. It was an old neighbor of mine. But like my only dispute with that neighbor was the music. I play radio and a lot. And she would always be like, she didn't like Tom. Can you stop playing let down? Can you stop playing air back? Yeah, it's my favorite. But that was it. I didn't like I didn't obviously didn't do any of that. I don't know. And then Crescelle backtracked afterwards. And she's like, well, this person might have stolen from me. So I don't believe it. But like, yeah, why then do that? Or bring it on camera? Yeah. You know, I mean, why? Like, why do I was like, I was that was super surprising to me because it's already a very stressful. Ambience. Have you become a fan of Raleigh TV now that you are on it and not that you're watching it? And are there you think that this is kind of a gateway for you becoming a fan of some other shows that are out there? OK, I'm going to be fully honest. Last year, my best friends like, please watch Love Island, please. What you want to watch that trash, please watch Love Island. Fine. I watched it and I binge that in like today. Welcome. And I was like, what the hell? And then I googled like, Love Island, UK. Yes, the best season. So and then I watched that season of Love Island, UK. And so like I did that and I swear to God, it's not because it's I'm here and it's you too. My favorite reality TV show is The Age of Attraction. Hands down. That's the best show I've seen. Really? Thank you. Top dog. It's so good. It's excellent, that show. Like and I love selling the OC. Yeah, I loved it. Now, since you're talking about it, what did you love about our show? You know what? Why do you think it was so good? Well, I thought you two were incredible at like getting them to open up and talk and I think that the whole concept is brilliant. And it hadn't been done before. At least I mean, I'm not a reality TV jockey, but I've never seen anything like it. I've never seen like older women with younger men on a reality TV show. And like and so the concept was unique. The cast was great. The storylines were great as well. Like I was on board for a second and honestly, you two really brought in your A game. It was really natural for you to as a couple. I thought my wife was a star. I thought I was totally fine. I think you both were. You both were. You could see that it was just very natural and I love what it looks natural. It makes me want to watch when it's like sort of stage and fakey. It's like, nah. Yeah, no, well, thank you for saying and we felt the same way. And it's interesting being host of the show because you assume that you're just going to like love it because it's your show. But like there's just no guarantee. You know, I'm sure there's a lot of actors out there who like are in a movie and then they go back and watch it and be like, what was what was I in? Like, what was this? Do you have any insight on like where selling sunset is? What do you know? Can you tell us what's going on? I can't really say much because I can't, you know, what is. But I know that it's going to be spicy and surprising and he's going to have like very like bombshells and like new twists and it's going to be like they're bringing their A game. It's all I know. Are you familiar with the name Christine Quinn? Yeah, of course. OK, I think she's great. OK, would you welcome her back if they brought her back? I totally think she'd be incredible because she is good TV, right? I mean, I haven't seen her season, but I've seen clips and the clips are great. Back to Love Island, Sandra, I am curious. So you've never seen it live. Have you watched it live? Never live. Don't that's a whole different experience. Really? Yes, because like there is something about watching these people knowing that like it's still being filmed because so many every other reality shows, you know, you film it, months go by, they edit it, you know, and like, you're kind of like you find yourself like wondering what they're doing. You're like, you know, they're waking up right now and like they're, you know, it's like this kind of weird, fascinating like connection you feel with the cast. It's in a bizarre, fun way. So you should do this in the season. I was going to say, and one of the best parts, too, is that it's like it's every day. So it's like if you come home and you're like, what do I put on? You have an episode. It's just like every single day there's a new episode. And then if you don't watch, you're like, cool, I've got five episodes to pin. When does that do you guys know when does that come come out? June. In June. OK, yeah. Oh, I also just watch Love Overboard. I thought that was a great show. I haven't seen it yet. Yeah, I enjoyed it. What are some things other than reality TV shows that you are loving right now? So I'm on this like mainly I paint, but I'm also a counselor. So I I love helping people. I'm also in recovery. So I love, you know, helping people. I think that mainly why I entered the bigger platforms is because I want to sort of like make it a good thing and have a bigger, broader voice. I think that's partially when selling something came up on my lap. I'm like, great, because that'll be a platform for me to open up doors. And so, yeah, I I partnered up with this skincare line called Ocier and it is incredible. It's like a glow. It's like if you had an orgasm. I'll have. OK. I'll take 10. And it's it's, you know, it's Korean clean skincare. And it's it's it's my favorite thing is that the message it gives back to people in recovery, in drug and alcohol recovery. Oh, wow. With every purchase. So I love that. And yeah, and I'm also coming up with something called the Alignment Blueprint, which is where I just use my my tools to help people get aligned. In life, not just in reality, but like in general. Sandra, you should come back for an Ask Nick episode and help me give relationship advice to some callers. Oh, I would love that. Yeah, you'd be good at it. It's fun. It's fun. I love. Yeah, totally. What would be like your top three relationship advice, just like hot takes that you would give to people in general? Don't play games. Crucial. Like, you know what I mean? Like, oh, God, if you want to text text. But like, but don't do it from lack. Make sure that whatever you do, you're coming from a whole place and not a place where you want to take something from one that validation attention. So that's one, just whatever you get into, make sure you're a whole person. That's how I feel. And then the other is don't drink too much on the first second day. Practical. Keep it to two max. Keep it cute, because then you're going to be talking about like your grandmother's like past affairs with, you know, the gardener. And then you're going to feel shame. Yeah. Keep it down with the alcohol department. And the third one is take your time. Don't be open your legs or don't be, you know, putting your V no V is quick period because because it's so good when you wait a little like sex. To me, it's really important and it's better if you get to know the person a little bit and and then it's like a review rather than just, you know, opening up right away without really getting to know the person first. Call me Colombian traditional. I hope you do the embankment on the first date. But yeah, that's hilarious. Sandra, this has been so much fun. I would love, I wish you were watching Summer House. I would love to get your take on the Amanda. Should I watch it? Well, I'm going to watch it now. It's messy this season. It's messy. You have four key players right now or you have a married couple, Kyle and Amanda, 10 years of marriage. This past season, we've been watching them kind of like separate. There's not a lot of love there. Then you have Sierra and West who have been in this like situation ship for a couple years and then they had kind of a messy falling out. But this West guy has kind of kept her close, you know, done the whole like, I, you know, we can be friends. I don't know if I want to be friends, but I still value. But like, he's also kind of like enjoying the fact that he's like single, 30, famous, he's fucking around. He's having some fun. And then out of nowhere, West and Amanda started dating. Wow. And West and Amanda and Sierra are friends. So Sierra has been going to Amanda for like relationship advice. Oh, and like, you know, like and many people would be like, hey, maybe Sierra, you need to move on. But like, you know, Sierra's stuff, you know, like we've all been stuck on a person that for whatever reason, we're just like, is kind of like we're addicted to, I don't know. You just said it. It's addicting. And instead of being a friend, she just decided to start hooking up with him. And that's where and that's where we're at right now. Thank you. Do everyone hate her right now? Oh, my God. Yes. Of course. But but he's getting, I think he's getting off too easy because he's been, I yeah. But yes, no, she's getting all. I'm going to what I'm binging this. Yeah. I'm going to be binging this. See, that's the thing with, you know, speaking of like, you know, so the last winners of Love Island was it Amaya and that Brian and Amaya. Yeah. Wasn't that bullshit? Oh, 100 percent. 100 percent. What I don't like how she represented us women. Are you heavy? They have a spin off right now called they do beyond the villa. Yeah. And they take none of the like main people from this last season, but it's like the winners and then everybody else. And it's pretty it's a pretty tough watch, I will say. I'm going to watch. Yeah. They get into it. I was like, Amaya is like, yeah, untouchable in her mind. What would you take on Nick and Alandria? Did you think that was like a legit thing or no? I don't see real giving PR relations. I want to believe in the romance. I just don't see the chemistry. They're still together. Allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly. I mean, they're still doing brand deals. I don't even know if they live in the same state. Who knows? But maybe they are together, they're guys. They could be together. Yeah. Who knows? But OK, so I have homework to do. I have the summer house. Summer house. Yeah, it's the first season, though, right? Oh, no, we're on season 10. I started on eight, so. You could just watch this season and follow the story and be locked in or you like there's two different ways to consume Bravo, like because they do a lot of flashbacks, so like you could start like a very pulp fiction and you could start watching it and then, you know, they'll bring they'll reference things from past. A lot of times they show flashbacks. If not, you could go back and watch an old episode. It's kind of fun that way. You can almost start whenever you want, right? And it just you receive the story in a different way. But Sandra, this has been so much fun. Thanks for coming. Come back and you and ask Nick with me, but especially if you start getting into some like reality TV and you like I'm going to message you as soon as I'm done binging, all right, and we're going to do this. OK, I love it. Thanks for coming, Sandra. Where can people find you? Follow you on social, all that fun stuff. Follow me on Instagram at Sandra Vergara. You need to do like an audiobook and I would listen to it over and over again. Just just you hopefully an epic novel, a long one. And I just want to like chapter a day. Let's get into summer house, starting with what we watched last night. These episodes keep getting more and more jaw dropping. Going around the room want to know what from last night's episode has it changed your opinion, what what narrative like really screams like as you watch these shows, not necessarily change your opinion, but what is your biggest takeaway from what what the most recent episode of summer house, Sarah, go. My biggest takeaway is West is full of it. The need to I feel like his interviews are for Mandy. I feel like he wants it to be like, oh, like I had no control. Sabrina just told me I'm going on a double date. Oh, you couldn't be busy that day. You couldn't have other plans. You couldn't decline. You just are being forced to go on this double date the day after you make up. And then it's like seeing him go into Sierra's room and asking for like five minute long hugs and rubbing her head and being like, oh, we finally got here. And then to be so flippant in his interviews, I'm just like, no, no, you're trying to control a narrative and you don't know what's going to be used from the summer, like from that footage. But I'm like to watch him go in twice for these like long extended embraces and like not trying to declare any type of boundaries or anything. He's like, oh, it's too soon in his interview, but you agreed to go. So that's my takeaway is that like West is just kind of full of shit. And he says what he wants to say to appease whatever woman he thinks is paying attention at that moment. Well, I did hear that like they were doing these confessionals around this like alleged beginning timeline that him and Amanda started things. So that makes sense that like he kind of goes into his confessionals being like, oh, I don't know what that was all about trying to like protect his relationship with Amanda. And it does seem like there is a bit of a switch up that's happening in these confessionals. I'm curious if you guys think the same thing of he used to be earlier in the confessionals like, yeah, I don't know what Sierra, like there's just something about Sierra. And now he's like, I don't know. But also at the bar where I'm just kind of like again, he's saying best weekend of his life, best moment, so happy to be making up with Sierra. His summer just is just getting started. He gets to this soft bar opening with. By the way, it was beautiful. Yes, it was. Mm hmm. Chops to Carl. Shout out Carl. But talking to Amanda and Kyle's right next to him, right? Kyle keeps cutting him off, cutting him off. And then he's like, I just, you know, after everything that conversation was here, I just wish that Amanda would get out of the car. What a weird ass fucking thing to say to add to that story. That was so strange. I literally was like, wait, why? Why? Because because because because we were we could have like, you know, like played a trick on them or something. Huh? Huh? That doesn't even make sense. So I'm just like, even then it still feels like he's appeasing some sort of emotional affair, if not physical, but emotional catering to her feelings because heaven forbid, he said he had the best night when she wasn't there. So now he's got to make up for it. Like, no, I was wishing you were there the whole time. It's also so funny to watch. Just Amanda's like the way her face just lights up around west. Like the laughs, the smiles. And then the second it's like one on one with Kyle, the like draw the depression hits like, but the second that like she's having that conversation with West and Kyle comes up and she's like, oh my God, just let him talk. Oh my God. And then you see like girl, it's just it's so wild. I will say Morgan Stewart and I think she's getting like a little bit of a backlash for this, but she posted like a clip from her obviously talking about all this on her show and she was like kind of saying the entire Internet piling on Amanda on one person, like acting as if you know these people like is is wild. Like it's just a crazy thing to do to act like you are personally victimized by what is happening. She's getting backlash for that. Oh, I mean, yeah, people are like, well, what do you mean? What about Sierra's feelings? Like, well, this is the wrong take, Morgan. How dare you say this? Like, definitely for sure. I mean, sure. But it's just she's literally just saying like maybe we all shouldn't pile on one person because we don't ever know what's going on in someone's life. And you can't take back what you say. And like if something bad were to happen, you would feel really bad. And I completely. That's an amazing. I know. Stan Morgan Stewart for that take. That's what I said, too. But people are are definitely mad at her for that. I agree with you, Sierra. That's one of my biggest takeaways is this more like the kind of take both of your points, it's just more I don't know. You watch that episode and I'm just wondering why Amanda is getting what he feels like 80 percent of the hate. And to me, you watch this episode and it's just like, again, I've talked about this in previous episodes. This was just a demonstration of what I kind of refer to is like the modern 2026 like weak man, right? Like, you know, West is in full control of these relationships and he he positions himself as someone who's not in control and he sets just enough of boundaries with these women specifically, Sierra, to protect himself. So he can always be like, well, I'm not sure and I've told her, you know, I'm not. I can't be in a relationship, but he gives her just enough, just enough to keep her close while also having this kind of deniability. And he kind of does, you know, the same thing with Amanda. And again, not to talk, not to excuse Amanda's choices, but I'm just shocked that like there's not more people at least like empathizing with Amanda from the point of view of like these decisions aren't made in a vacuum. And like, again, it doesn't isn't a justification, but how can't not we at least understand how maybe she got to this point? A person who has like over the years have talked about like her desire to like settle down and have a family and that clearly hasn't worked out with Kyle. I would agree with all of this. And maybe and maybe it is hard to agree with this just because we have heard leaks from the reunion where she does not sound one bit remorseful. And I think had she gone to the reunion and been like, listen, guys, this is what I'm going through. I don't know what the fuck I'm thinking in my head. I'm like, shit is crazy. I found a safe place in West. Like this is what happened, blah, blah. I just can't believe it. But she's every clip we've heard and we haven't watched the whole reunion. There is so much more to watch and maybe she'll surprise us. But like everything we've heard is West being silent and her being defensive. And so I think she has everyone coming for her. And I just don't think you're right. We're not seeing that yet. But this is like this is not the type of clarity you would if if a man is making bad decisions and she is making decisions mostly based off of how she doesn't want to feel versus how she wants to feel in the sense that like maybe she doesn't want to feel alone. Maybe she just wants to feel validated. Again, like does it you call it pick me energy or whatever you have. But it's like it's very relatable and very humanizing to like have this like a longing for a feeling and you find it with someone and then you convince yourself that is someone who's healthy for you and good for you in a way that West is probably not right. And I just don't think she's at that point of clarity. She is clearly doubling and tripling down. Like the fact that they are insisting that this is some sort of like real thing between the two of them and like that they actually might get married or whatever. Like the way we are all kind of like you better if I can fucking get married. And I think they're kind of playing into that. I just don't think now is a time where you're going to see that type of clarity from Amanda the same way. It's just like now there's this like clip floating around of Sierra referring to West as her person. Like yes, I'm assuming that in the not too distant future, Sierra is going to look back and be like that. I can't believe I said that out loud. I can't believe I felt that or feel that like it's understandable how she got there. But like I don't think Sierra would want to think that like what West brought to the table and his lack of consistency that she would want to refer to a guy like West and the way he's treated her is her person. That's how she feels in that moment. She's wrapped up into this kind of game that West has played in this kind of breadcrumbing he's done, but like I think she will see that clarity in the future to be like, I can't believe I actually called that guy my person. I'm going to double down and say Amanda's going to say the same thing in the next six months. I'm just like, this is who West is. West is in a settled down person. So I was like, any person that could see a guy do that to their friend and then be like, you know what, it's going to be different with me. Like good fucking luck. But I'm just like, again, this is who this character, who he is, the character he demonstrates, I guarantee you while he's sitting there texting Amanda while she wasn't there that weekend, he's not telling her, Hey, I'm going to go have a five minute long hug with Sierra. Hey, I'm going to, you know, cater to and try and spend as much time with her. Sit next to her at dinner. Say that my summer just got started. Like I'm just saying that I'm like, West is a game player. West is a clout chaser. West is somebody who's only looking out for the benefit of himself. You saw it even how he apologizes. It's about him and how he's feeling and how he doesn't want to feel this way anymore. Not that I caused you pain. Not that I'm so sorry for the decisions that I've made and how they've affected you. He does not give a shit. So I'm like, and even hearing at the reunion, Amanda having to stand up for herself while West is sitting here being like, I just wish more people would come for me. Like you're not stepping in by any means. You're not like, Hey, she's been through enough. Let me like, what? You're not that guy. You never will be that guy. So Amanda's going to look just as dumb in the next six months for saying the same thing that Sierra already said to her and cried to her about for the last two years. And it's also, I think I would have, I think to your point, Nick, about Amanda not knowing what was going on. And obviously that's a complicated situation to be in. You never know what's going on. And someone said, blah, blah, blah. I think I would have a bit more empathy for her. If one, it wasn't West and she didn't already know exactly who he was. Like she watched like one, that's a guy you shouldn't be fucking around with in general. Also, you are on a TV show with him. You know how he works, like and also Bravo men, like girl, girl, Yana, don't do anything on the show. Why would you like get yours and get away from Kyle? But like you're in New York City. There's a bunch of hotties that you can go and be confused with. I do think West is very manipulative in the sense of, yes, I think she was vulnerable and she was down bad. And he clearly we watched him create this safe space for her all summer long. He was a great friend of her. So clearly she leaned into him during this time. And like I do think he took advantage of that. The Reddit Bravo summer house community put together this very elaborate timeline that that talks about a man up post on Instagram saying in your 30s, there's there will be a moment where you have to choose between the life you know and the life you want. Choose the one that scares you. Like I just think that's such a very telling message that she put out there. And I think that explains her frame of mind. Again, that doesn't justify it. But like she has decided that like she hasn't got what she wanted out of her life. She's now in her 30s and she feels a certain way about that. And you know, scares is like giving herself permission to like, you know, screw over a friend. And like she is like dead set on like I have to do this for me. And maybe maybe grace like maybe empathy is the wrong word. I just I can connect the dots where like to the West point. It's like it makes for a person who's been married for 10 years, who's scared of entering the dating world, who's who's a celebrity. And that makes dating even more difficult. But then you have a guy like West, who seems to be like very comfortable, like enjoying like the fact that he has like all these options. And it's just like what that doesn't make. Like why it's just like I can understand how Amanda fell for West. I don't. And this is not a disrespect to my man. I just understand why is what what's like West went from like just kind of playing the field, being this fuckboy, collecting a roster. It's like why? To what I still has a roster, still has a roster. The most embarrassing part of that audio was her admitting to the fact that like we're it's complicated because we don't know what was going on. He was seeing other people like girl, I would have even thrown in. We were seeing other people like not. Let's make it seem. I was just one of his girls, you know, and the whole going over going over to his house to pregame before his date with Mia and then feeling the need to go up to Mia and telling her that at BravoCon two months later. Like it's the most like I'm sorry. Yeah, pick me energy. It's the most like I had him first. I coached him for your date. Well, great. Did you talk about it after like why were you there? Like it's just I think the with Amanda. I think where I where I have a hard time is just and I get what you're saying about like the the thing on her Instagram about like being scared and choosing the thing that scares you like I completely understand that. And I just think if she is going to do that, part of doing the thing that scares you is saying it with your chest and being honest about what you're doing and your intentions and not still coming from victim. Yeah. And so if she's going to go in there and be like, you know what? Like West and I have built this. We have this dynamic and we haven't really figured out what this dynamic is. Then like go in there and say that and be like, but I knew what I was doing. She is an adult woman. Like she's painting herself like she's this confused little baby. It happened to me. I didn't make a choice. West was just there and it's like, girl, you have two feet and a brain. And I guarantee you are smarter than West Wilson. I know you know how to run. Yeah, like I also don't know how you spend so much time being disrespected by Kyle Cook that you think that West is going to be the one to save you. Like I can't have as much empathy for her as as like I would normally want to have for a woman in this kind of situation. It's not. Yeah. Maybe empathy is the wrong word. I think I just understand how she got there and I just assume right now she's not being honest with herself like that. Instagram post about that's to me, that's her. It's like it's written as if she's speaking to her audience. But I took that as like it's her trying to convince herself of like that. She's making a smart decision when deep down she's wondering if she's not. And to your point, like what what never really lands and why Sierra has the right to feel how she feels, or at least from like understanding it's just like fine, if you're going to do it, then you should sit down your friend and say, girl, I'm sorry. I didn't plan for this. But like, yeah, own it, face the face the music. The fact that you lied to her, the fact that she had to find out the way that she did. The fact that you like not only did that, but like covertly tried to like pretend that there was that's the dirty part. That's the lack of you like you don't give a fuck about Sierra. You know, and that's the part is kind of shocking. That is the part that's hard to like it's at least own it. At least be like, babe, I'm I'm you know, I don't know. But she's still I fucked up. But like that was the thing, too, whereas like even Lindsey, I think was in the audio was like, you got smoked out. She's like, no, no, it's because a video was going to come out. It's like, that's exactly the definition. Is that it's like you did not come to Sierra because you were like, oh, my God, I am just being eaten alive with guilt and like holding on to this secret is just eating me alive and I just rather be out with it. And you can hate me if you want to. I deserve that. But if not, like I would love to be able to to work through this. But like, no, you only confessed and put out that dumb ass statement solely because you thought some video of you in your underwear was going to come out at West House and that's not what that's not what happened. And guess what? The person that had that video even said they would not send it based on revenge porn. So Sierra had to go see it herself. So I'm just like, it's the same thing with the Raquel thing, with the Raquel doing the revenge porn and being like, oh, they sent it around. They're going to send it around. Nobody saw this video. It's just like, no one's going to see this video. It's not about that. But you felt that that was going to be the thing that could only force you to come out and be honest because how much longer would you guys have been running around like this? We're going to go to the reunion and pretend like you guys weren't hooking up. Yes, that would be crazy. Right. That's exactly what they that's exactly what they would have done. They would have kept this a secret until they stop either West like Broker Hart or after after in the city, because I'm sure we're going to watch the dissoneration of her and Kyle's marriage. A lot of people are saying that online that this room is now watching in the city because you're going to watch the whole time of Kyle and Amanda together and be like, we know what the outcome of this is. Yeah, we know why. Yeah. Yeah. That's probably that's probably what they were probably trying to do. Hopefully hide it until like the next season. So tiring. That they were going to. Yeah, because then they get a storyline. I mean, and that's what like that is West Wilson to a T. Like he is not going to care about your heart, but he is going to care about the storyline for next season. I was going to say West showing up even in the trailer for In the City, where he's not a main character, but he's part of Mandy's story. Hey, man, Z. It is fascinating to like again, like if Bravo has accurately painted Amanda and Kyle's relationship, then I think it's fair not to have that much sympathy for Kyle, given how he seemingly has treated his wife over the years and definitely gives like I'm the main character in my marriage, the Senate around me and my dreams. But maybe that's not accurate. You know, maybe there's a world where like, you know, Kyle has protected Amanda for years and, you know, I don't think that every thing we see on these shows is true. And I do think people lean into like false story lines and do bits and scenes. And like the question is how much, you know, what parts are real versus like heightened? But I like that that scene of of of Kyle talking about he never gets replies from his wife. I mean, you know, we talked about this on the Temptation Island reunion. When it comes to men, I honestly think emotionally cheating hurts more than physical cheating. Oh, 100 percent. Yeah. And especially like it's just, you know, there's just no respect. It's like Amanda fucking hates his guts and makes him feel that. And then she like replies to like some useless texts from West in the group chat while simultaneously ignoring her husband is like would be incredibly hurtful. Writing on the wall, writing on the wall. Also, what really gets me about it is her specific like there had been other texts since she chose to hit the West text, reply publicly in the group chat. Damn. And then membered the caption for her snow day, their snow day that she posted when they were just friends. And it said best day ever. Best day of my life captioned or quotations West W.W. and it's West Wilson. So I'm like, if anything, she has been holding on to this idea that he had the best day ever with Sierra when she wasn't there, that she had to fucking post about it. And that's like, that's what I'm saying is what I need to see in the reunion is like them pulling out the timeline of being like this cryptic choice when she's posted about a broke my wedding vows and used the song. How can we go back to being friends? Like, what do you mean you weren't laughing in our faces and being like, nobody knows, but me and was. Well, that's the thing. Like this this all playing out the way it did kind of tells us that like all these scenes or moments of Amanda showing up as a friend to Sierra, fake as fuck was. Yeah, fake and bullshit. And at the end of the day, to say like best day ever, you know, like you you can say, oh, Sierra, you should have known better. Oh, Sierra, why you change? You know, like whatever you think of Sierra's like feelings about West, the fact that is your friend felt this way about a guy. And and you you now know that Amanda is part of this like justification to how she's moved is she like you saw at the end of this episode where she's kind of rolling her eyes when she hears about this date. And you know, I think a lot of fans are reading into it. Be like, oh, my God, that's like, honestly, she kind of looked like a friend who was more like, girl, OK, you got to move on from this guy. You know, we've all had friends where you just like, you know, like, listen, like why why you keep giving this person a chance. But like it at best is not what that was giving. I was going to say, did you see when she said, oh, I'm so happy about that and her face dropped so fucking fast. It was like her physicality could not match what the bullshit that was coming out of her mouth. Yeah, no, that's great. Maybe. Well, yeah, like obviously we have the benefit of hindsight, but I know. I mean, maybe I'm the friend who like but I have been personally invested in some of my friends' relationships. They have come to me. They've asked, you know, people who are really stuck and can't move on. And if I see my friend make progress only to revert back to making bad decisions, I feel disappointed and sad for them. That's not the energy that she's brought at any other time. Prior because you've had her sitting down. You've had her sitting down with Mia and Sierra, Mia being like, I just think like you're in love with him. I think he's in love with you. I think you're going to end up together. And Amanda doesn't say, bitch, do not go through with this again. Come on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, you're totally right. But that's my kind of point. Now we see who making these decisions. And clearly, while whatever she was saying to Sierra in her mind, she was mocking her. She was kind of thinking to herself, you dumb bitch, you don't you don't deserve to like this guy. He's giving you no reason. And the only way Amanda could be like doing what she's doing is to like. And that's right. And I hate the word pick me because like, hey, I'm a pick me. I wanted to be picked. You know, we all like to be chosen. We all like to be chased. I sent her women in my life. I have my daughters, but I'm just saying I just take the way it's. What that means. What a different pick. That's not a pick me. Whatever. I just I'm just. That's just better. Center your wife. I know. I'm just like, can we can we make that's going to be the poll quote of the episode? I sent her women in my life. Maybe I'm a pick me. I have daughters like that's what I was saying. Like at some point, I do think like, and that's where again, it makes bed. Like you get to a certain point where like you your your romantic dreams haven't come true. You know, your relationship dreams haven't happened for you. And and you you feel that pressure and you start like, you know, you start, you know, like when you're in your 20s and you meet someone and you fall off a cliff with your friends and you abandon your friends, like it makes a lot of sense for your friends to be like, yo, like what the you just you met a person you disappeared on us and you like you. But like sometimes you get older, you realize that maybe you start have to prioritize in your romantic life over your friendships and things like that. And I just feel like that's what that's the conversation a man is having with herself is a way to justify her poor decisions. I'm going to tell you that I'm like, it's just I think also for just like the female point of view, which I think is just nuts, is like, there's just no world in which I want my boyfriend, fiance, husband to have been with my best friend or been with one of my close friends. Like your co-worker, not something we should we need to have in common. So the idea that she's sitting here in the end of this episode and going into the next episode is like, Sierra is such a special person and West really needs to change a lot about himself acting as if she's oh, so concerned. You don't get to be this person that's like, oh, I would defend her. She deserves better. West isn't good enough for her, but he's good enough for me. Like, where does that switch go off where you're so hyper aware of the type of person that West is, but then sitting here acting like you're the victim because people are upset at you for doing that to your friend. You know what I mean? Like it's desperation. That's cognitive dissonance in itself. And it's just like, desperation and fear. But like, favorite things. I was like, desperation for sure. But I'm just like, I think even the whole like, oh, do you think that's scary? You I'm like, OK, if you're going to be selfish and make selfish decisions, then be prepared to deal with the outcomes of those selfish decisions. Exactly. I think that's just the one thing. And what do you mean by that? Just to be clear, because like, like when she's saying like in leaked audio that like you don't control who you like or like it's not like as if it's like something that happened to her, not a decision that she made as if there wasn't a conscious thought throughout this process of being close friends with West, you developing feelings that Sierra never once crossed your mind. And if that were the case, then it would have come out so much sooner because you wouldn't feel like you had to hide anything. Like you're a person, like you are a woman, you are a person. You had Sierra like texting you being like, what are you doing at West House? Are you offering like you had her in and you still you still chose to like not to lie to lie to lie to downright lie and then try to act as if it's like, oh, you valued your friendship. Because if I were Sierra, I would be like, what the fuck was real and what wasn't? Like, and especially if the rumors are true that like around Superbowl and all that stuff that hurt him, West and Sierra had hooked up or whatever. Then I'm just like, not only the crossover and I'm like, Amanda, how could you watch this episode back? Hear all of this stuff and still be excusing it like as if it's like, because that just to me, I'm like the saddest part is like your self worth must be so low to accept this type of love, quote unquote, or this like or this. That's the part I feel sad for Amanda, because like it's just I, you know, I think she's a person making some really bad decisions and there's, you know, and and maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. And I've never met Amanda. Maybe she's just like maybe she's a horrible fucking person. I don't know. But I think many of us have been in these moments where like you you will do the most amazing mental gymnastics to justify your choices when deep down, you know, they're not the best choices for you and the people around you. And it's just like we have all been in these positions before. And again, it doesn't justify it. I just like it's more. And that's why I look at West where like he's just he's got no. He just it's just it's so self serving and it's so weak. Like at the end of the day, West is fucking his friend's wife. Like, yep. How was that? Yeah. Like, how are we missing that part? I know we're all focused on like, oh, Amanda and Sierra, but like West and Kyle were. I don't know if they were best. I mean, they clearly weren't best friends of 10 plus years, but like. They were buddies. They were just fucking his his buddy's wife. Right. While using his ex, whom he resents to try to clear up his name on a public factor. So you're do it. You're juggling one of two very gross deals. And then it's like we're sitting here and then I heard that there was a room that they were going to give him like a spin off of summer house. They better fucking not. And the Ozarks. Nobody wants to watch that. So I'm sorry, but I'm just like this man. Fuck Missouri. I'm like, nobody nobody asked for this. I want to see people living in the Hamptons because I'm like, that's a place I want to go. I saw the Netflix series. I'm good as an aside. The person who recorded this alleged video of West and Amanda. Is this like is this is this an anonymous person? Do we know who this person is anonymous? I have a question for Mary. Do you still consider yourself the female West Wilson? No, I do not. Listen, guys, the only reason I ever said that is just because he's kind of blonde and a goofy and a white guy. Like we he dresses like a lesbian. So I was like, all right, sure. Like maybe this charming little goofball who can pull this beautiful woman Sierra like after being stupid, I could relate to. Right. Then I found out he has a Machiavelli in heart and I don't. I actually have a soft heart. I just make a lot of jokes. Right. So I think we need to rebrand you to the female Swartz. There you go. No, she's not much better. She can articulate. She's like, oh, God. I can. Yeah, I can't help with my game. I actually it takes me a minute. I am capable of having actual conversations about my feelings. And here's the kicker. I see women as people. No, no, I'm not saying he would. Objects. I think that's the difference between me and West Wilson. I see like a woman and I see a person who like has a lot of complicated things going on in their life. I don't just see someone I'm trying to have sex with. Distortions. Well, Michelle from the Valley seems to be in a new relationship. Talk about a flex. Dr. Dre, Dr. Dre, talk about like not on my bingo car. Talk about a tight where she was recently connected to a fucking Quentin Tarantino, like major old iconic celebrity. Maybe. Is she dating? Good for her. Are they holding hands? There could be a ring around the rosy holding hands, leaving Nobu. Talk about like a date night. Does Michelle just like set up shop at like all the like celebrity hangouts, like the Beverly Hills Hotel Nobo. She does only hang out there and wait for these old, like iconic 90 celebrity men to like roll in. I respect Dre more than I respect Quentin Tarantino. Neither of them seem like they have a positive history treat like how they treated their ex partners. I was going to say, I know less about Dr. Dre than Tarantino. Yeah, neither one of these things. Not winning. I just know him as music guy. It is funny that like now there's the clip of Brock talking about how like Sheena said that her hall passes Dr. Dre. Oh my God. Yeah. That's crazy. And then he like saw them at a part. He saw like Dr. Dre at a party and she knows like I'm going to go talk to him. And then he realized that it was probably attainable. So he was like, I probably shouldn't have like given her a yes on that. The hall pass. And now Michelle's dating him and she's not on the valley. It's like just the most. Can't wait for that book. Somehow, yeah. Somehow Sheena gets inserted and inserts herself. Well, the people are bringing up the Valley last season, how Jesse Lollie was like, she gets paid 1500 a night to go out with people. You know, that whole storyline. Yes. You know, is it true? This. Well, we don't know that it's true, but like, I think people are just bringing it up because she's with like a big person. Yeah. But just like, first of all, it's just that number is insulting. It's insulting. Also, I don't think if Dr. Dre paid to go on a date with Michelle, they would be like leaving, holding hands for paparazzi to take photos of them. You would think. But what have we learned covering reality TV? That some of these people on these shows do not make well thought out decisions. Like Dr. Dre is not a reality TV star. But I don't know if Dr. Dre is. I don't he gives a fuck, you know. Yeah, I think if he paid to go on a date with Michelle, he's not letting paparazzi take photos of them holding hands, leaving the restaurant, that fucking part. That's a good point. There's a parking garage or something. Well, you know, we haven't seen Dr. Dre in some pop shots lately. Like maybe he's just feeling a little like he's got a new album coming out. But Natalie, you make a good point there. No. But also, Michelle works in real estate. So I'm like, she probably has a luxury. That was my point again. They were holding that she works with. No, I'm just saying like how she meets these people. Like I don't think she's like camping out at Chateau Marmont. I think that like she starts these conversations through real estate. She's a good person. Has chemistry. I think she's got a lot of good connections. I did recently run into a cast, a cast member of the Valley, and it was interesting conversation because as you guys know, listen to this show, we haven't like spent a ton of time covering this season yet. You know, there's a lot more to come. We will certainly talk about it. But like this this this cast member, no, no. They're like, so you're not like covering the Valley this season. And I was like, you know, obviously, there's this lot going on with Summerhouse and yada, yada. They were like, yeah, no, I know. And that you could tell this person was like very self conscious about the attention that Summerhouse is getting in that drama. And it is fascinating how like tapped in all these people in the Bravo universe are because there is only so much like eyeballs to go around. And I think right now people are so locked locked into Summerhouse and that drama. And like right now the Valley is just like, you know, they're kind of like getting their feet. They're like they're just kind of getting their bearings with the season without Jack's and they're almost kind of creating new storylines and new relationships. And like Jesse and Michelle, the show's biggest drama outside of Jack's, you know, they're kind of getting along and they're cool. And it's just a lot of like, you know, nice TV, but there's not a lot of like, why am I tuning in to talk? You know, why do I want to break this down? You know, there's no water cooler talk. And it is kind of fascinating that like the way reality TV is gone from like the Secret Lives of Mormon wives drama like, you know, and and the Taylor Frankie Paul and the way Jesse is moving post-divorced. It's just almost like reality. V stars are realizing the only way to get attention is like these incredibly like messy, messy scandals because the truth is we all kind of feed into the fire, you know, and the fact that this cast members are like, you could tell that they were self aware and and realize that. And the question is like, do some of those people choose violence because they get afraid that they're going to like, you know, lose their spot? Is fascinating. Yeah, I was like, I feel like that's like Jax Taylor's entire MO was that like as if like nobody asked him to. But I'm sure he definitely I saw a cameo that he made recently where he was talking about how what great reality TV he makes. And I'm like, yeah, because you will make that choice where it's like most people would be like, you know what, I'm going to stay out of this. I'm going to stay silent. I just want to go home and mind my business. And he's like, you said this and it came from her. And like fucking go, you know, so I'm just like, but I'm like to the whole thing where we have that, I don't know, like debate, but also conflict within ourselves where it's like, OK, do you congratulate people for poor behavior? Because it gives us shit to talk about and makes a season interesting. Versus if you take off all of those toxic people, what are you left with? The tea party, like, you know what I mean? Like it's just it's a it's a it's really is a catch twenty two. Because if you think about it, most people go on reality TV ready to display their piss poor behavior. So I'm like, but if you take those people off or if you condemn every single person that makes a terrible decision on reality TV, what are you left with? It's true. Fascinating. Sarah. Well, you know, again, more will be revealed as this scandal unfolds. It's a but that's the thing it is. It is fun to talk about and dissect and discuss and disagree or agree. And we all see different things. And it like. Like DM and send terrible things to people. Yeah, I do think we always have to remember that when we watch these shows, we are watching it through like our lived experience, our main character. We we we connect with people who are minus of ourselves. We connect. We connect with people who are minus of our exes and people who have hurt us. So just like I remember when if you are activated by the story, like that's a you problem, like to not take it out on these people we have these parasocial relationships with. And exactly. Well, you can you can say to yourself, I would never be friends with someone like Amanda, and I can't believe she hurt someone who like I really respect and admire that person being Sierra. But like you don't have to be out there and like wish them ill or or want to like ruin their life or or hope that something bad happens to them. Like you don't you don't need to do that to me. Well, that will do it for today's show. Thank you to our guest, Sandra Vergara and all of you for listening. Do not forget to check out Vow Fow's plus. Be sure to check out the Temptation Island reunion if you haven't already. Don't forget to check out the assnik episode with Mark L. Wallbarger, celebrity assnik guest. You might get some wisdom.
