It is time for the prayer cards. I would encourage y'all to do like our homegirl, baby, start you a little, a little wall and start sticking on these scriptures up. And probably what I would say, I don't know if the homegirl does this, but I assume she does. If you like say we read a scripture and the subject of the scripture is talking about faith or talking about God comforting us or talking about for us not to have fear or something like that. Just start putting a subject so that if you need scriptures about fear, you can look on your little wall, on your posted notes that you can go and say, Oh, this scripture discussed fear or this scripture discussed anxiety. This scripture really talked about how no weapon formed against me was going to prosper. So I encourage y'all to do that. Thank you so much homegirl for that. That's actually a wonderful, wonderful idea. All right. So our scripture from today comes from Romans chapter three, verse 24. And it says, and all are justified freely by his grace. Oh my God. Through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. We gonna go to another version of this. I think I want to go to, I don't know. I'm in new living translation version. So I'm a go there, but I really think I want to go to amplify version. We may go to both of those versions. Let's just see. First, we're going to go to Romans three, 24 and new living translation and new living translation says, yet God in his grace freely makes us right in his sight. Oh my God. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins. Hmm. Oh my God, baby. We need to meditate on that for a second. This says yet God in his grace freely, freely, meaning he ain't, he ain't forced to do it. He choose in to do it. He freely makes us right in his sight. And how does he do it? He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. Let me go to amplify. I don't know why amplified is just on me. Let me, let's go to amplify. So amplified in Romans three and 24 says it says, come on. Where is that? Okay. Oh, okay. Here we go. Okay. So amplified in Romans three and 24 says, and are being justified, declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God and granted eternal life as a gift by his precious, undeserved grace through the redemption. The payment for our sin, which is provided in Christ Jesus. Now hold up, cause amplified was loaded. We're going to break this down and amplify. It says, and are being, and are being justified, declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God and granted eternal life. We are being justified. So we are being declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God and granted eternal life. This to me is saying we are being given another chance. And the reason we've been given another chance is only made possible through the shared blood of Jesus Christ, through Jesus coming down, wrapping himself in human flesh and taking on everything that we have been dealing with, everything we would deal with, everything we was going to go through, all of the attacks and things that the enemy has had on you. You think that you're the only person going through it. Baby, no, baby, Jesus knew what was going to happen. That's why he came and Jesus was proactive. He came and he did things ahead of time because he knew the challenges that we were going to face. Let's finish this. It says as a gift by his precious, undeserved grace, my God, his precious, undeserved grace, none of us, I don't deserve the grace of God. You don't deserve the grace of God. We don't deserve the grace of God. None of us deserve the grace of God, but he freely chooses to give us that grace each and every day that we wake up, each and every day that we stumble, each and every time that we make mistakes, each and every time we say something, some do something that we shouldn't do. Look, I don't even want to get out this scripture. I want to go to another version, but we ain't gonna even do it. Bookmark this scripture. Romans chapter three, verse 24. This was a beautiful reminder of Jesus's purpose in life. Jesus came down to bless us. Jesus came down to save us. Jesus came down to take on everything. He was the payment for our sins. My goodness. Jesus was the payment for our sins. Our debt that we had. Listen, Jesus, when they say Jesus paid it all, he paid it all. He was the payment for our sin and I just thank God for loving me, loving us so much that he was said his only son to be the payment for our sins. Our unworthy sales, all of us, unworthy, baby, unfit. We can't even compare. We don't even deserve the love and the grace of God, but he freely gives it to us. And for that, I am so thankful. I am so grateful. So bookmark that again. Romans chapter three, verse 24. All right, so now let's go ahead. Let's move, y'all. Let's move because y'all know them prayer cards will give me so excited and I can stay talking about the word of God forever. But we're going to slide into this episode and today we're going to be talking about all things your purpose, your calling, baby. How do I discover that? I don't know. I don't even know where to start. I don't know if God has something for me in this world to do. I am lost. I am clueless. I don't even know. OK, and I want to start this episode by reading a comment that was left on one episode on Spotify. And the homegirl asked, she said, how do I find my calling? How do I know my my purpose? Slash my calling. And when I read this question, I was like, it it was like the last straw, basically, because so many home, not the last straw is meaning like, OK, that's it. I'm fed up. But as far as me not saying anything and not producing or or confronting or acknowledging this question. Like it was like, OK, you have to tackle this. You have to talk about this. You have to give the homegirl some insight on this because so many homegirls are asking this question. So when this homegirl acts, I'm like, I'm like, that's good. And a lot of homegirls be asking a lot of us right now, maybe on this side of life, or you like, listen, I don't know what my purpose is. I don't know what my calling is. How do I find it? Do I even have a purpose? Do I even have a calling? Because right now it doesn't feel like I do. And I want to read to you my response to her. And then I'm going to just go on from there and continue to elaborate on this. So my response to this homegirl was the only way to truly find your calling, your life's purpose is to tune into the voice of God for yourself. 100 percent. That means we think about what mama them talking about with the pastor and the ushers and the deacons and the ministers and apostles. We ain't talking about what they told you. We ain't talking about what grandma ma'am said. We are talking about tuning into God 100 percent for yourself, meaning building your own personal relationship with him. This is not a three way call when it comes to God revealing your purpose and your calling. God doesn't need to go through channels and lines of communication to get to you. God is there. He wants to talk to you. God wants to know who you are. He wants to know that you want to know what your purpose is. God is concerned with all of that. God wants you to talk to him. God, I don't know if I'm called to do something. If I am called to do something, God help me align with who you called me to be. Help me align with my purpose that you have set for me. That's the space God wants you to be in. God doesn't want you to go to him and say, well, my mama said that my purpose may be to do X, Y and Z because I've been doing this since I was seven years old. That's not how God operates. God doesn't want you to tell him what your mom and him said. He wants you to come to him and strictly ask him, Lord, this is me coming to you, asking you what am I purpose to do? What is my calling? Lord, what do you have for me when you look at me? God, who do you see me becoming? Even though I'm not her right now, even though I don't even know what she looks like, how she dressed, how her is. I don't know none of these things, but God help me see myself through your lens. Who am I becoming? Who do you have me set to become in the near future? OK, let me finish what I said in turn. And so I go on to say meaning you have to tune out the voice of others around you and who they want you to become. We just touched on that and start asking God, Lord, who do you say I am? And I want you to mark these questions when you are thinking about your calling and you are questioning like, Lord, do I have a calling? Do I have a purpose? First, you got to tune out the noise of everybody around you and then ask God. These questions, the questions are, Lord, who do you say I am? Who do you want me to become? What space do you want me to occupy in this world? So often we become subject to the identity that our friends and family want us to have. But our real identity is who God wants us to become. And the only way we can truly find out who God wants us to become is for us to be in relationship with him. We have to have an open line of communication with God for ourselves. People can go to God on your behalf when in the sense of now, I'm not saying they can't go and like pray and intercede for you. Yes, we love interceders. OK, we love intercessors. I think that's the right word for them. We love intercessors. We love all of that. We love for you to pray and touch and agree. We believe in all of that. But you can't expect somebody to go to God and say, Lord, reveal to me what it is that Shannon should be doing. And then they're going to bring it back to you and say, Shannon, the Lord said that you should be doing this. But you clueless because you like, but how do I know that this right? Like, I'm not even equipped to be doing it. So like, I don't I don't understand what you are saying. You don't understand because you are not building a relationship with God for yourself. You don't have that open line of communication with God for yourself. And I don't know why they keep coming up. Open line of communication, open line of communication. Homegirl, you need an open line of communication. Nothing needs to be blocking that channel. OK, nothing else needs to be dismantling and nothing else needs to be coming against that frequency that you have with God. You need an open line of communication. Hear me and hear me good. It is important for you in this season when you are looking for, Lord, what am I created to do? Lord, reveal to me my calling. You have to have an open channel. Get all these other people out of the frequency. Get all these other people out of the way because you can't hear what God is saying to you because you got so many other voices surrounding you. You trying to listen to everybody else tell you who to become. Tell you who God says that you are. You listen in to everybody but him. You listen in to everybody but the one who holds who you are in his hand. My God, today help us. You are listening to everybody except for the one who created you from the beginning of time. He said, I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Meaning before you were even thought about God already knew you. So why wouldn't you listen to him when it comes to knowing your purpose and your calling and who you are meant to be in this world? Listen, you need to listen to the voice of God. You need to have this open line of communication where I'm not bringing no other frequencies in this open line of communication. It may be some other lines of communication in my life where yes, I welcome your advice. Yes, I welcome you to tell me certain things. Yes, I welcome you to give me advice in this area of my life. Yes, I thank you for praying for me. I thank you for telling me what you feel like I should be doing. But at the end of the day, it's going to be one line of communication that baby. Ain't nobody going to be able to penetrate. Nobody is going to be able to disturb to disturb my God. I feel this. Listen, nobody is going to be able to disturb that one line of communication and that is between you and God. Ain't nobody. Baby, you can't get in. You ain't got a wristband, baby. You can't get in. It's over where you have to stay in a whole different line of communication. Baby, it should be one line of communication that you have open and it's just you and God. That's it. That's it. You got one. You on one end of the telephone, God on the other end. That's it. Ain't no three way call. Ain't no four way call. Ain't nobody else coming in between this line of communication. My God today, if they want to communicate with you, it's just like a phone call when you used to be on the house phones and you on the phone with somebody and you heard that noise and you like, hold up, I got a beep. That's the only way them people should be able to get a line of communication with you, not welcome them into the line of communication you got with God. Oh my goodness. Lord, help us. Help us to receive this word, God. Help us to understand this word, but there needs to be a line of communication strictly for you and God. And then all other lines of communication for everybody else. This is how this is what's going to lead you and push you and catapult you into your God given purpose, your God given calling is because you have this open line of communication with God. And that's it. Like I'm not listening to nobody else. God, I want to know what's up. I want to know what's going on with me. How do you see me? Because so many people can see us in so many different ways. If you go to your spouse, your spouse is going to see you in a completely different way than your mom sees you. Your mom is going to see you in a completely different way than your therapist sees you. So people are going to see you in a total different way. I can't even imagine me stepping into that territory because that's so foreign to me. I've never had to do anything like that. And God is like, I know you can't imagine you stepping into it. And that's why you need to have a line of communication with me. You need to have a relationship with me so that I can help you walk into it. Because if I called you to it, you best believe I have already set aside everything you need to prosper in this space. God ain't just out here calling us to spaces and then he gonna leave us out there to dry because God, I wasn't qualified. God knew you weren't qualified when he called you. Listen, God knew that you didn't fit. You didn't foot the bill when he called you. And when he told you, this is what I want you to do. My daughter, when God called your name and he said, this is the area of life you're going to be in. He already knew what you didn't have. He already knew you weren't qualified. He already knew you was going to self doubt and self sabotage. God already knew that you was going to look and say, uh-uh, God, not me. But a lot of us can't even get to that space because we don't have a line of communication open where it's just us and God. And that's one of the most important things in your life. And I want you to hear me home, girl, and not only hear me, but take heed and start doing things, start putting in the work and moving some people around to different lines of communication because it in this season and not only this season of your life. This is not just a one time thing where it's going to work in this season and it ain't going to work in previous or in future seasons. No, this is going to work in this season and your seasons to come. So this is your word. This is your instructions that you open a line of communication just with God. It's you on one end, God on the other end. That's it. Everybody else who wants to communicate with you, who wants to give you advice, they need to be on different channels. Baby, we're not hosting them on the same channel that we got God because God, in this season, I need to know what you want me to do. I need to know where you need me to be. I've spent too many seasons out here lost. Oh my God, I spent too many seasons out here questioning who I was. I spent too many seasons out here questioning if I had a purpose. God, I don't even want to be here no more because it seems like everybody around me, they are successful. They getting blessed. God, you allowing them to step into territory. That's for them. But what about me and God is saying you asking me what about you? But yet you have failed to open a line of communication with just me and you. And if you want to know your God giving purpose, your God giving calling, baby, you got to open up this line of communication with just you and God. That's it. Everybody else I talk to you when I talk to you. Mm hmm. I love y'all. I'm glad y'all are giving me advice. But baby, this is personal. Who this is personal, this calling, this purpose, baby, it's personal. And if it ain't coming from God, if God ain't the one telling me what it is I need to do, baby, I don't want it. Okay. I don't want it. I'm not, I'm not better than anybody else. I'm not high and mighty. I'm none of those things. I just don't want anything in this season and these seasons to come. That is that does not come from God. And that's the thing when it comes to us finding our calling and finding our purpose, we have to want what God wants for us. We have to stop trying to please everybody else and do what they want us to do. They may have ideas. They may have advice. They may say, you know what? I think this would be a good idea for you to do X, Y and Z. It's OK for you to say not in this season. I don't feel God is calling me to do this. And only you will know because it's only you and God in that line of communication. So what did all boys down to homegirl is a separate line of communication is just for you and God. That's the word. That is the word. A word, baby. That's the word. Listen, a separate line of communication is required for you to find your God given purpose, your God given calling. And let me just tell you when you are establishing this line of communication, be ready for God to just come in like a mighty Russian wind, baby, and start putting you in your place and start directing you to your path. Because that's all he's waiting for. Listen, you think God has been failing you? You think that what God, everybody else has been able to step into the season of life that they're supposed to be in. They look blessed, they're prospering. And you think God them forgot about little old you. But baby, you holding yourself up because you ain't open that line of communication. Where is just you and him? You won't open your Bible and meditate on the word day and night so that you can know the plans that he had for you. The Bible is full of promises. The Bible is full of things that listen are going to happen. Not sure the water cutters. The Bible is full of promises. And you wondering why you haven't been elevated and you haven't been able to discover your calling and your purpose. And God is saying is because you have been failing to get in position and open that line of communication. But homegirl today is the day where you start opening that line of communication with you and God and baby, get ready, get ready for God. Because when it's nothing in his way, when the frequency ain't muffled and fuzzy and fuzzy and all of that, God is able to clearly speak to you. It is going to change your life. It is going to change your life. And I want you, if you are listening to this and you know that you haven't had that open line of communication with God, I want you to start that open line of communication today and then come back and check in with me homegirl. Now who catch it? I didn't say who you was going to be, who you are. Because that's deep down on the inside of you. You're calling and your purpose ain't changed just because you haven't done the things that you were supposed to do, baby. It's still there. God is just waiting for you to get into alignment and come into agreement with what he already know about you, with what he already has said about you. And once you do that, oh baby, you're going to be able to walk into your calling, walk into your purpose and look and say, hmm, all alone. God just been waiting on me to open that line of communication. Oh my God. So I pray that you are able to open that line of communication. Baby, don't try just do it. Just do it. Just open that line of communication because God, he is waiting on you because he just the only thing that God is waiting for is to get his message through to you clearly. Okay. He don't want nothing else in his way. When he's trying to get his message to you. That's why it's important. Very important. So take this word, baby, wrap this word up, put it in your pocket, put it in your purse, put it on your walk, put this word everywhere with you. Come back to this word as you need to and understand that, baby, your purpose and your calling, it is what it is. You are who God says you are in the name of Jesus. You are not who society is paying you out to be. You are not who your friends them said that you were, baby, you are who God says that you are. And I pray that you get into alignment with his word in the name of Jesus, get into alignment with the word of God so that you can start walking in your God given calling. You can start walking in your God given purpose. It is very important for you to have that line of communication open so that you can clearly hear the voice of God in this season. And as you get ready to navigate and to step into 2025, it's very important for your ear gates, for your heart, for your mind to be clear, to have an open line of communication with God so that you can hear what he wants you to do. So that you can know who he wants you to be so that you can know what he says about you in the mighty name of Jesus. So that is it. That is it. That's a word. Oh, I pray that this word just blessed y'all. And I pray that you will take this word and that you would do the work required. Don't just sit on this word. Do not just sit on this word, baby. I need you to put some skin in the game, put some action to it and get busy. Get to work so that you can discover who God has already and always known you to be. God already said that that's who you are. He's just waiting for you to get into alignment. So let's go ahead and close this episode out. We're going to close it with the girl just he'll mantra. But before we do that, we're going to take a deep breath in and out. And that is just us releasing all of the cares of today, of yesterday, last week, last month, any thoughts, anything that has come up to trigger us, that has come up to almost make us step back and backtrack. We are releasing all of that. And we're going to repeat this girl just he'll mantra. I want you to really drop in and repeat this. And the girl just he'll mantra is. I accept myself for who I am.
