Trump warns France as the G7 summit kicks off and the State Department shuts down a birth tourism network in Africa. I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor John Bickley. It's Monday, June 15th and this is Evening Wire. Some of the details of the new agreement between the U.S. and Iran are coming into focus. Foreign Affairs reporter Kasia Kiva has the latest. Administration officials say the memorandum of understanding with Iran has already been signed virtually by both sides, including by President Trump, but it is still set to be signed in person on Friday in Switzerland as well. Another round of what the Trump administration is calling technical talks will launch afterwards, which includes discussions over Iran's nuclear ambitions. In a call with reporters, a senior Trump administration official said negotiations discussed a potential $300 billion fund to help rebuild Iran, along with sanctions relief in the release of frozen Iranian funds. The official said any economic benefits would be tied to Iranian compliance with the agreement. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pesikshin struck a more cautious tone, calling the MOU an important step toward beginning negotiations and warning that a final agreement has yet to take shape. After months of planning, the White House and UFC's American 250 Fight Night took place on the South Lawn on Sunday. Here with the details is lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer. The event featured 14 fighters, and the audience included some of the biggest names in politics, business, and culture. In a Truth Social post on Monday morning, President Trump congratulated the night's winners, including 37-year-old American fighter Justin Gayche. Gayche upset the previously undefeated Ilya Taporia to win the lightweight championship in the card's main event. The president called the event, quote, one of the most exciting days in the history of our fabled White House. On Friday, director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, released a trove of documents on U.S.-funded biolabs and gain-of-function research. A review of U.S. funding found that taxpayer dollars have been funneled to over 120 biolabs across more than 30 countries. Gabbard said the findings validate concerns over U.S.-backed gain-of-function research that had been previously dismissed as misinformation. Here's Gabbard. This release today breaks new ground, as the information surrounding the existence, history, locations, and funding of these U.S.-funded biolabs has been intentionally covered up by very powerful people who falsely claimed that these biolabs didn't exist. They accuse anyone who says otherwise to be foreign assets and traitors to America. Secret recordings of some of the most sensitive conversations at the top of the U.S. government may have been given to the press. Here's daily wire DC bureau chief Tim Rice with the story. According to Axios, White House officials reportedly believe that their security has been breached after accounts of conversations from the Situation Room appeared in excerpts of an upcoming book. The book is titled Regime Change and is written by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan. The accounts include Situation Room quotes covering President Trump's decision to go to war with Iran and the Epstein files. If the recordings do exist, they would represent a shocking security breach. The Situation Room is one of the most secure settings in the world, and recording devices are strictly banned. President Trump is warning France that its new tax on American tech companies could reignite a trade war with the U.S. Reporter Jacob Wheeler has more. Trump told the New York Post that if the new tax is left in place, he would charge 100% tariff on all champagnes and wines coming out of France. Trump's latest trade threat comes as the president arrived in France today for the G7 summit. He is expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday evening, ahead of the group sessions with other leaders on Tuesday and Wednesday. Main Democratic Senate nominee Graham Platner is facing fresh scrutiny over newly resurfaced Reddit posts where he mocked a teenager's suicide attempt. Assistant editor Andy Valdez has more. The 2012 Reddit thread showed a teenage girl being pulled from a high window as she contemplated jumping. With a comment from the user P. Hussle remarking, someone clearly isn't trying hard enough. Platner has acknowledged ownership of the Reddit account, and it's the latest in a long list of disturbing posts, some of which include praising Hamas for attacking Israeli soldiers and Platner writing that a purple heart recipient quote didn't deserve to live. Platner won the Democratic nomination last week despite these revelations, a Nazi tattoo, and allegations that he abused an ex-girlfriend. He will face Republican Senator Susan Collins in November. The Pentagon is burning through expensive missiles faster than it can replace them. Daily Wire contributor Tim Pierce has the latest. The problem has been dramatically exposed over the past few months with the Iran conflict using up 1,700 Patriot missiles in five weeks, a quantity that normally takes three years to produce. In April, the Pentagon announced some significant investment to speed up production, but experts say that won't be enough. They point out that the underlying problem predates the Iran war, with decades of spending prioritized elsewhere and almost none at dedicated to search capacity. The US is now racing to rebuild an industrial base that can sustain a prolonged conflict. As we learned here in the early stages of launching Morning Wire, starting something new can be really hard. Daily Wire immigration reporter Jenny Ter has the details. Birth tourism is the practice of expectant mothers traveling to the United States to give birth so that their children will have United States citizenship. The State Department recently uncovered operations in West Africa and North Africa that trained individuals to subvert the visa process, even allegedly forging documents. The fraudulent visas have now been revoked and legal action will likely be soon to follow. Through the operation, US officials have identified at least six companies who specialize in training and facilitating birth tourism. The State Department has said that they are now seeking to dismantle birth tourism networks and hold accountable those who try to scam our system. Tragedy struck close to Butler, Missouri over the weekend after a dozen people were killed in a plane crash that included 11 skydiving students and instructors and a pilot. The plane crash shortly after takeoff under good weather conditions it declined about 100 feet in the air when it stalled and plummeted to the ground, killing all on board. Federal investigators have traveled to Butler to investigate the crash and determine a precise cause. Britain is imposing a ban on a variety of social media apps for children under 16. Prime Minister Kier Starmor announced the policy at a press conference on Monday. Today I can announce that the government will ban access to social media for all children under the age of 16. This is not something I do lightly and I will not present it as cost-free as if social media has brought no benefits to young people. But government is always about choices and it's clear to me that a full ban is the right choice. I am not prepared to compromise on the safety and happiness of our children and that is why this ban must happen and that is why this ban will happen. 84-year-old Mitch McConnell was hospitalized this weekend after an unknown medical incident. Daily Wire associate editor Zach Juhl reports. On Sunday, McConnell arrived at the hospital and is currently receiving excellent care after an unknown medical incident struck the 84-year-old senator. However, this isn't the senator's first health incident. A polio survivor, McConnell has had balance issues and sometimes needs rails to support himself. In 2019, he fractured his shoulder after falling in his home and was rushed to the hospital due to another fall during dinner in 2023. A few months later, he went viral after freezing up for about 20 seconds while talking to reporters. In 2025, McConnell said he wouldn't seek reelection after these medical setbacks. A protest at Stanford University graduation broke out when Google's CEO took the stage. Daily Wire reporter Lyndon Blake explains. 200 Stanford students staged a walkout at Commencement Sunday to protest for Palestine. Stanford chose alumnus and Google CEO Sundar Pachai to be the keynote speaker. This has drawn backlash from leftists as Google allegedly has been complicit in the so-called techno-fascism by hosting cloud services for Israel, allowing the Department of War to use Google Gemini and working on surveillance with Palantir. Stanford students for justice in Palestine and no tech for apartheid stayed to the walkout to show solidarity against Israel. Pachai was undeterred by the protest and continued his speech about optimism and personal growth. A controversial deal would place the ownership of Paramount Pictures' Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, CNN, and CBS News under one name. Daily Wire Entertainment reporter Amanda Harding has the story. David Ellison, who serves as the chairman and CEO of Paramount Skydance, is backing the $111 billion deal. After investigating more than 2 million documents, hours of depositions, meetings, and interviews, the Justice Department doesn't think the deal will harm American consumers. With the television industry being, quote, highly dynamic, the deal should increase competition and consumption, creating stronger competitors across the board. But concerns still loom as people fear the deal will reduce wages and prices for creative material. Others fear that this will decrease the amount of buyers for TV and movie scripts and lower potential employers for actors and crew members. And in sports news, the Carolina Hurricanes have won the Stanley Cup. Carolina goalie Brandon Bussey maintained a perfect save record in Game 6 to clinch the Cup in a 3-0 win against the Golden Knights. The Hurricanes touted a monumental 16-3 post-season run to secure their first championship in 20 years. Alright, those of you who drive home updates to learn more about these stories, go to DailyWire.com and in case you missed it earlier today, we covered some major stories, including Trump announcing a deal with Iran, protests in Northern Ireland spreading further into Europe, and SpaceX's IPO sparking controversy in Washington.
