The Iran War ceasefire officially ends tomorrow. The vice president is on his way back to Pakistan to try to secure a peace deal with the terrorist regime seeking a nuclear weapon, which is now threatening to possess, quote, new cards for the battlefield when that ceasefire ends. At the same time, the state of Israel has announced the largest pride festival ever, which will take place coincidentally right where the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah used to be. Now, I don't want to sound superstitious and I don't know if you guys are big readers, but this whole thing does remind me of a certain story from the book of Genesis. And I am slightly concerned that history might repeat itself first as tragedy, then as apocalypse. Also, the Onion takes over Info Wars, Tucker apologizes for endorsing Trump, and Virginia Democrats might effectively disenfranchise almost every Republican voter in the Commonwealth. Before we get into any of this, the apocalypse, Sodom and Gomorrah, all the rest of it. You know me. I love practical politics. This is one reason I don't really get into the podcaster wars as such. We'll talk about the podcasters turning on Trump. That's very practical. But just real practical nuts and bolts politics. If you are in Virginia, I know there are a lot of people listening to this show right now who are in Virginia. There is a referendum today. You have to go out and vote. The referendum could effectively disenfranchise just about every Republican voter in the Commonwealth of Virginia at the congressional level. Why? Because right now, Virginia is a six to five purple Commonwealth. You have almost a perfect split of Republican districts, Democrat districts. It could swing. It could swing in any election, but it's pretty evenly split. The new redistricting referendum that is on the ballot today would switch Virginia from a six to five Commonwealth to a 10 to one Democrat Commonwealth. This would be effectively a Democrat complete takeover of Virginia. And do you know what they're calling it? They're calling it the ballot measure, a measure to restore fairness. You have a Commonwealth that is really quite purple. There are a lot of conservatives in Virginia. In the cities, there are a lot of Democrats and it's right near DC, but there are a lot of conservatives there. So it's quite purple. You just had Glenn Yonkin, the governor, not so long ago, Republican. Now at the congressional level, at least, it would be essentially all Democrats and they call that restoring fairness. Why? Why is this happening? Because the Democrats really didn't like being out of power and the Democrats will do anything it takes to regain power. You saw this in Virginia when the governor Abigail Spanberger ran as a moderate. Meanwhile, she was endorsing an attorney general who was openly calling for violence against ordinary Republicans. Meanwhile, the minute she took office, she enacted the most radical leftist agenda we've ever seen in Virginia, basically in any state, abortion on demand up until the moment of birth. This ballot referendum and essentially Democrat takeover of the state on and on and on, giving criminals restoring their right to vote, putting criminals back on the street, letting illegal aliens run amok. The most radical agenda we've seen, but she ran as a Democrat. This is the playbook. We've heard this from other Democrats around the country. Spanberger is the model. This is how they're going to run in the midterms. Woke is not dead. Woke is dormant. The left is very, very angry. They really don't like you. They showed their true colors after the assassination of Charlie Kirk where a huge number of ordinary Democrats said that they wanted to kill you. They felt that the assassination of Charlie Kirk, who was extremely moderate, was justified. Imagine what they would do to you. And they are on the brink of taking power back and they're not just on the brink of taking power back for one tough midterm election, not just for one difficult presidential election. They are on the brink of taking power back for the foreseeable future. Not 51-49, not 60-40, 10-1 in Virginia. Democrats get power. Republicans don't get power. We get distracted. We always fight each other. We wage these meta-political battles that don't even have anything to do necessarily with elected officials or policies. Meanwhile, the Dems are on the brink today of retaking power in a very significant part of the country. Get out there. I know Republicans just historically, when your party is in power, you are not that motivated to go out and vote in the next election. This is a big one. And if it happens in Virginia, don't say you weren't warned. The media are not covering this. You're only going to hear about this on conservative shows. And the conservative shows, frankly, you're talking about all sorts of crazy stuff out in the ether. They're not talking about practical politics. Get out there and vote. If you do not vote and the Democrats regain this kind of power, don't say you weren't warned. Don't say you weren't warned. Okay, now, speaking of the podcasters, Tucker has just come out. And this is not the regular podcast wars where this podcaster doesn't like this podcaster, and they're all talking about some personal slight from 10 years ago, and they're talking about all sorts of oddball, eccentric ideas that are way out there in outer space. We're talking about practical stuff. Who was a major backer of President Trump in 2024, was campaigning with him, showing up at rallies with him. He was visiting the White House pretty chummy recently. Tucker is irate over the Iran war, so much so that it's led to a major falling out. President Trump has very publicly and repeatedly disavowed Tucker, said he's out. He's not MAGA. He's not America first. Tucker has now responded and said, not just that he's worried about this Trump policy, not just that he thinks the Iran work had spiral out of control. He's come out and he said, he fully regrets and apologizes for endorsing Trump in 2024. You and I and everyone else who supported him, you wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him. I mean, we're implicated in this for sure. It's not enough to say, well, I changed my mind or like, oh, this is bad. I'm out. It's like in very small ways, but in real ways, you and me and millions of people like us for the reason this is happening right now. Yes. So, I do think it's like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, we'll be tormented by it for a long time. I will be. And I want to say, I'm sorry for misleading people. It was not intentional. That's all I'll say. I'm sorry for misleading people. I regret telling people to vote for Trump. May a culpa, may a culpa, may a maxima culpa. So says Tucker. This is a definitive declaration from Tucker that Kamala would have been no worse or potentially even better than Trump. This is a definitive declaration. This is a major escalation, not of the podcast wars, but of a shift in allegiance and a shift in perspective at the political level. Now, obviously, I don't agree with Tucker on this point. Though for Tucker's critics, you have to admit the guy's been pretty consistent about this Iran war. Yes, he's held very different views about politics over the years. He's talked about that. He used to, he supported the Iraq war, but he's been very consistent on the Iran war. He was showing up to the White House, making the case that they shouldn't go to war in Iran repeatedly. And there was this big falling out over it. So this is a very forceful declaration from Tucker. He thinks that Kamala would have been no worse, maybe better than Trump. So very clearly, I disagree with Tucker on the point, but I think he's sincere on that point in his belief. And why does this interest me? Because I so care about the views of even a very long time, very prominent conservative pundit, not exactly. The reason why I find this so interesting, so significant is it raises the stakes of the Iran war even more. I said this the day that the Iran strikes took off. I was an Iran skeptic before, during and after I remain a skeptic of Iran, of not only the Iranian regime, but also of the strikes on Iran. Not because I think they have bad motivations, not because I don't think they're deserved. I just think Iran is a very difficult country to topple. I think the likelihood of full success is dubious. I think that the proportionality, the goods to be achieved commensurate to the damage that will be inflicted, it's very tricky to make that case. And I also think Trump is the best foreign policy president of my entire lifetime. So if anybody can do it, if anybody can pull a rabbit out of a hat, it's Trump. But I said at the time, I said, this is the riskiest move that Trump has made in 10 years dominating presidential politics. This is the riskiest move. Because if it works out, this will be the greatest masterstroke of foreign policy since the fall of the Berlin Wall. If it doesn't work out, the ramifications are incalculable for the Trump legacy, for the Trump coalition, for America's standing in the world. Just as there was the Suez moment when the British Empire and the French declined, definitively declined as a major world power during the Suez crisis. When they failed to beat the Egyptians on the Suez crisis, so too, this could be a Hormuz moment. This could be a moment that either pushes away China's imperial ambitions for another 10 or 20 years, masterstroke, or accelerates the rise of China. So the stakes could not possibly be higher here. Geopolitically, not just a podcaster talking about a president, not just a pundit weighing in on the conservative movement. Geopolitically, the stakes could not be higher. And President Trump is in a brutal position. He's been in a brutal position for a year and a half. He's been in a brutal position on this issue for 10 years, because America's been in a brutal position for 47 years. But it does seem like things are coming to a head, especially as the ceasefire is about to expire tonight, which we will get to momentarily. And as Iran is making even further threats. Okay, so we'll get to the Iran ceasefire and the kind of strange coincidence that there's about to be a big pride festival in Sodom and Gomorrah. Donewithdebt.com The vice president is traveling to Islamabad right now. The vice president previously had gone to Islamabad to try to get a peace deal. He came out afterwards. He said, the Iranians, they just don't want to negotiate. been at it for 21 hours and the Iranians don't want to deal, has been the character of the Iranians for 47 years now. The speaker of the Islamic Republic, the remaining parts of the Islamic regime in Iran, Mohammed Bagar Ghalibov, has come out and said, in the past two weeks, we have prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield. Now he's being a little vague here because obviously Trump has succeeded tremendously at sinking the Iranian navy, crushing the Iranian missiles, burying the Iranian nuclear material, killing the top of the Iranian regime up to and including the Ayatollah. So the Iranians are being a little vague here. We have new cards to play. However, you got to give the Iranians, they're pretty good at sticking around. This Islamic regime has lasted twice as long as the previous CIA regime from 53 to 79. So you don't want to totally write them off as bluffing, but they're being very, very vague about what they have. Trump is not being vague. Trump has come out for weeks now and said, if the Iranians don't make a deal, I'm going to blow up their bridges. I'm going to blow up their power plants. I'm going to send these guys back to the Stone Age. The United States obviously has more cards to play than Iran, but Iran has crucial cards to play, notably closing the Strait of Hormuz and now this vague threat, we have more cards to play in the battlefield. It seems to me, and I do hate to say I told you so in this one, but I've said this from the beginning, that as this accelerates, you're going to see stark options, probably neither of which are any good. If you could have overthrown the regime immediately, or if you still could overthrow the regime, then you're in a whole new world. But if you can't, if the regime can hold on, it seems to me there are two options on the table, one of which is a deal that we don't want, the other one is full-scale war. I think that's where we're at. And the clock is really running down here to the wire. Everybody acknowledges it. The White House acknowledges it, Iran acknowledges it. So the other observation is that Trump has pulled many rabbits out of his hat. Trump has succeeded at pulling rabbits out of his hat more than any president in any of our lifetimes. However, this is the toughest one yet, and I think it was ever thus. I think this was part of the calculation on Iran. These people who say Trump is foolhardy, reckless, stupid, it's very, very silly to say that, I think. We've known this since 2016, at least. Trump has succeeded at five of the toughest industries in the world, but real estate, casinos, politics, network television, personal branding, he's succeeded at the very top of all of those levels, usually on his first try. So a very difficult conclusion for people who fancy themselves clever or successful is that Trump is smarter than you. He is, he just is. Or he's the luckiest guy ever. He's either the luckiest guy ever, more consistently than anybody, or he's pretty smart. However, this situation is the toughest situation he has ever faced coming down to the wire. I cannot say that I envy the position of the vice president or the president right now. But it was ever thus. This has been building, not just since the strikes on Fordo, not just since the Iranian nuclear deal, not the so-called Iranian nuclear deal, which is a bad deal from Obama, where we gave the Iranians a ton of money and greenlit them on a slow version of building a nuclear weapon, not even since the hostage crisis. This has been building for many, many decades now. So you've got that trepidation, that fear going on in the Middle East. At the same time, I shouldn't laugh, but I don't know, you laugh or you cry. The state of Israel has just posted, the official state of Israel account on X, has just posted a picture of, you would think this is coming from some, like anti-Jewish group or anti-Israel group, or say it's so, it's so shocking. It's a picture of the Israeli flag with pride flags and then a weird little rainbow at the Dead Sea. And they write, quote, "'Pride rises at the lowest place on earth, rainbow. This June, the Dead Sea becomes Pride Land, the biggest LGBTQ plus festival ever in the Middle East, four days of nonstop celebration, community and connection, Israel celebrates its LGBTQ plus community bigger than ever." I'm not volunteering for this job, I'm not saying I would take this job, but should I go, should Netanyahu hire me or anyone or any of you to run the PR for the state of Israel? Because this ain't it, this ain't it. This is like the worst possible PR, the worst communications move I can possibly imagine. I know why they're doing it. I get why they're doing it, we'll get to it in a second. But just look at the optics. At the lowest place on earth. Oh, you mean hell? Sorry, in the sort of medieval cosmology, the ancient cosmology, the lowest place on earth would be hell. At the lowest place on earth, in the Dead Sea, in the place of the dead, we're going to have pride, which again, I don't know if you guys are big readers, but I have read pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Pride is going to reign with all sorts of weird sex stuff that is called an abomination in the Bible. And by the way, just to bring it back to the literal and the historical, the literal place where this will be happening is most likely right in the historic sites of Sodom and Gomorrah, which are destroyed in the aforementioned Bible. Is the new card that the Iranians are going to play, is the new card just fire and brimstone? Actually, that's what they want you to think it is because they're trying to build a nuclear weapon. This is not good stuff, guys, but I know why they're doing it. I don't want to just leave you with this sort of, what are they doing? How wacky is that? I know why the state of Israel is doing this, because 15 years ago, this would have played. 10 years ago, this might have played. 10, 15 years ago, and really for the last 30 years or 20 years before that, you had a lot of conservatives, right-wing people who paradoxically would argue that all these Middle Eastern countries, these Muslim countries, these non-Western countries were really bad, and one of the signs of how bad they were was that they did not permit weird sex stuff. This was one of the slogans, one of the arguments you say, these Muslim countries, they're so backward, they won't even let people hold pride festivals. They prosecute homosexuals, this sort of thing. And that was always a really bizarre argument for conservatives. Conservatives really should not be promoting the sexual revolution. That doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? Radical, liberal, leftist sexual ideologies, that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it was a way to draw a distinction between the West, where liberalism and leftism have unfortunately taken hold, and the non-Western countries, which despite their billions of faults, are not particularly liberal. So now we've seen the corrosive effects of liberalism and leftism, and there's been a big swing, especially on the right, but even with moderate voters, against the sexual revolution, against the LGBTQ ideology. And so ironically now, you have Western countries, which I think includes Israel, at least as a kind of Western colony in the Middle East, that's one of the left's chief gripes with the state of Israel, is that it functions, effectively, as a Western colony, an imperialist colonial power in the brown lands of the Middle East. That's their argument against it. You now have a lot of people in the West say, well, man, this liberalism, this leftism, this has been really bad, we don't like this. And the PR guys who are running the state of Israel's Twitter account, they just haven't caught up with the times, but this is a really bad look. And it speaks to an issue that is bigger than the conflict in the Middle East, bigger than the state of Israel. It speaks to this issue that liberalism ain't so hot anymore. The real hardcore conservatives have known that there are lots of problems with liberalism for a long time, for centuries, actually. But I think the mainstream voter, citizen of the West, has finally woken up to that fact, that liberalism, it feels kind of nice in the moment because it maximizes individual autonomy and it gives you license to the reign of your will, even your lower appetites. But the only way that liberalism can exist is upon the bulwark of a conservative civilization, a pre-liberal civilization, the civilization of Christianity, of antiquity, of scholastic intellectual rigor, of discipline ultimately, and that liberalism acts as this kind of corrosive acid. And at a certain point, once the acid has worked through that bulwark, things fall apart in the West. You no longer have borders anymore, you no longer have an intellectual apparatus to defend your own civilization. You no longer get married, you no longer have kids, you no longer, at a very literal level, even continue on your civilization because you're not replacing yourselves anymore. That's why the LGBTQ stuff doesn't really work anymore. Bad, bad look, bad, bad look. I would recommend they cancel the largest pride parade ever for spiritual reasons and for political reasons. This is not it. Specific to the state of Israel, we've talked about this major shift in public opinion over the last three years. It's happened very, very quickly. That public opinion, public support for the state of Israel has cratered in the United States. It already had on the hard left, then it started to among moderate and non-liberal Democrats. The right wing was the last bastion of support for Israel. It's cratered there too. And I think it has a fair bit to do with this. There's a major shift underway. We are effectively living in a post-liberal political order to use a buzzword that the left likes to throw at us, but is really just descriptive. Liberalism has cratered as well. Support for liberalism has really begun to collapse. And so we need to play in that new environment and we need to make defenses of our civilization. We need to make defenses of our political actions that are not premised on liberal ideas because those are off-putting to a lot of people. I thought, you know, the one thing that could get me to feel sympathetic to Muslim civilization versus either the state of Israel or the West more broadly, is if you focus on the rainbow flag, which has become a symbol in many ways of Western hegemony. It's the one thing, guys, don't make me sympathetic. What are we doing here? Are we the baddies? You're making me think we're the baddies if we're flying the rainbow flag. No good. Now, speaking of the rainbow flag, you remember those guys, the two fellas who bought the kid and then mocked the child who was crying out for mama. I said, there's no more mama. There's no more mama. The most disturbing video I've ever seen in my entire life. And then the kid starts crying and they're giggling, these men are giggling. Well, somehow it gets even worse. Who is, I didn't even know if we were gonna bleep it. Who is, I won't repeat the word. These are two guys in front of little kids who're saying, who's the best cook? Who's the strongest? And then they make this disgusting political question of these little children and the kids go, wait, what's that? And the guys, they giggle, Tee hee hee. The one guy points to himself, Tee hee hee. Who's the this, who's the that? Notice, this drives home the point on two fellas buying kids. That is not, that's not just not a question that a normal married couple would answer. You know, a husband and a wife. That's not just a question that they would not, it's totally inappropriate. That's not even a question that you could ask of a normal married couple. Because that question, when you ask it to a husband and a wife, the answer's obvious. 999,999 times out of a million, the answer to that question is obvious because men and women are different. And by the way, if you did ask that question of a normal husband and wife, the wife would be shocked and scandalized, probably smacked the person who answered it. And if the wife didn't, the husband wouldn't because that's totally inappropriate to ask in mixed company and certainly in front of children. But for these guys, the dynamic is different. And the dynamic's different because their behavior is different. Their identity is different. Their ideology is different. The way they view sex and the importance of sex in their lives is different. These men and women are different. Maybe the most shocking part of this video or the previous video, where the guy says, mama, and the guy says, there's no more mama. We intentionally took your mama away from you so that we could satisfy our own selfish desires. Albeit desires that come from a good place, but they're so perverted and they're especially perverse because we've prioritized our own desires over your needs. The t-he-he, that's so funny. No more mama, you don't get a mama. We're gonna deprive you of the most important connection that a baby can have. And then they answer this question, t-he-he, oh, t-he-he. They're asking this gross sexual question in front of you, scandalizing little kids. This is what Millstones are about. T-he-he-he, maybe the most shocking part of the whole thing is not just what they're saying and what they believe, but the fact that their intellects have been so darkened, their desires have been so perverted, that they think this is the kind of thing they should post to the internet, and people will just find it cute. Can you imagine how darkened your intellect must be to think that this is the sort of thing, even if you did this, which is heinous enough in itself, that you would post it for the approval of others, you'd think people would look upon that with approval. They're shocked by the backlash. These are people who are deeply, powerfully confused because sin darkens the intellect, that's why. Not good, not winning friends and influencing people with that kind of video or promoting pride, big swing against that stuff. Okay, speaking of on-camera antics, the onion has formally and officially acquired InfoWars, the left-wing former comedy site, they used to have some funny videos, they haven't been funny in 10 years at least, the onion, no one even hears about them anymore, they have acquired Alex Jones' website, InfoWars, because they made a bid to buy InfoWars in the bankruptcy of Alex Jones, because Alex Jones said that the Sandy Hook shooting was fake and the parents of the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting sued him for defamation and he went bankrupt and now the onion has acquired it. What does this mean? Alex Jones has a shirtless rant, some of his best rants occur in strange sartorial circumstances, including shirtless. Alex Jones has a shirtless rant about this that is profoundly incisive about how the left works. Wow, that's, I called the straight of our move Schrodinger straight yesterday because it was potentially opened, but then anytime that the potentiality collapsed into an actuality, the straight was closed or maybe opened or maybe closed, but mostly closed and it was a Schrodinger straight. But you're right, as it was a, maybe a better descriptor of Schrodinger straight would be a trip to Thailand, good point. Here is Alex Jones, invading against after years of legal battles, the left wing onion acquiring info wars. You can't take something over and then act like you're somebody even if you say it's a parody. You can do a parody of somebody, but none of you took something from them. Look, just because you're wearing my shirt, don't mean you're me. So let's be 100% clear about that. And so you guys just keep laughing. Just like you did a year and a half ago or it was November, 2024. Was that about a year and a half? Yeah, this is a story from December 10th. Sail of Alex Jones, info wars to the onion rejected and I'll get into this and just. Yeah, so just, but yeah, they need to be us to confuse people. This is what the left do. They try to silence you. Then they misrepresent who you are. They're body snatchers or skin walkers. They literally take your skin. Okay, so first observation off the bat. Alex Jones is so good at media. Because his thesis, he walks out shirtless. And he said, why is Alex Jones shirtless again? And he then tells you his thesis. He actually pays it off. This isn't gratuitous or just to be provocative. He's wearing it. He says, just because you're wearing my shirt doesn't mean you're me. They took this guy to the cleaners so much. They took the shirt off his back. And they're wearing his shirt. They're pretending to be him. And so he illustrates this in his wardrobe by saying, just because you're wearing my shirt doesn't mean that you're me. And I want you to put aside for a second the way that the onion has acquired info wars. The way that the onion has acquired info wars is entirely legal. Alex Jones committed defamation. There was a massive, massive judgment against him for defamation. And then, it's not like he defamed the onion, but then the onion swooped in at the end and paid a very, very low price for a very, very valuable property, info wars. So all of that was legal. And put aside for a second your views on what Alex Jones said about Sandy Hook. And your views on defamation. Just listen to what Alex Jones is saying about how the left operates. Because he is entirely correct. What the left does is it leeches. The left doesn't build anything. The left doesn't have any positive vision. The left has a merely destructive and cynical vision. And so what the left does is it just goes into places that have been built that are powerful. And it takes them over and wears them like a skin suit. This has been true not just in recent years. This has been true for centuries. This is explicitly what communism is. Marx writes about this. Marx writes in very spiritual terms. And Marx comes in, even before Marx, you had Ludwig Feuerbach, you had other radical thinkers of the left saying, you know what we need to do? We have this thing called Christendom, Christian civilization. We need to go in and we need to do Christianity without Christ. We need to do Christendom without the church. We need to, at a more recent level, we look at these big institutions, places like Harvard and Yale in the United States, where they began as seminaries at the commencement exercises, at the graduations of these schools, students would debate matters of natural law in Latin and Greek. These are serious institutions. The left goes in and says, we're gonna get rid of all that. It's not gonna be a seminary anymore. We're gonna kick religion out of the schools. We're gonna kick Greek and Latin out of the schools, effectively. We're going to mock natural law. We're going to create a bunch of fake departments like ethnicity, race and migration, and women's studies and queer studies. We're going to train kids in just stupid radical leftist activism. And then we're gonna give them that same Harvard or Yale diploma at the end. We're just gonna wear these institutions like a skin suit. They did it in Hollywood. They've done it with the mainstream press. They've done it with the West, with America. They come in to big, powerful institutions. They don't build them, they just go, they sneak their way in, and then they use them for their power, and they ultimately destroy them. And that's what's going on with Infowars. Infowars was the preeminent conspiracy company out there, conspiracy theory content company, the preeminent. There's never been a better one in the United States. Never been a more powerful one. And there's a big audience for that stuff. There's a big dedicated audience, and then there are even people who like to dabble. You know, it's like a little guilty pleasure sometimes at night. It's kind of fun to listen to, okay, so what the left is gonna do, is gonna go in. The Onion is paying like, I think it's 81 grand per month to license Infowars. That's nothing for a media company. Infowars is worth so much more than that as a media business. The Onion couldn't have built that. The Onion's, I thought it was dead. I didn't know it even really existed anymore. But they say, oh, this is good. We got this really powerful media company. We're just gonna take it over. We're gonna pay pennies on the dollar for it. We're gonna get this big audience, and we're gonna turn it to what we want. Alex Jones, completely insightful about how the left operates here. Okay, speaking of our posterity, speaking of looking at the future, young adults' happiness is collapsing in the United States, totally collapsing. You have this study put out here by family studies, shows that in 1980, 88% of adults, 22 to 35, said they were pretty or very happy. And that started to go up a little bit, just at the end of the Cold War. Well, during the Reagan era, actually, it started to go up. Then right at the end of the Cold War, it kinda peaks. Then it goes down a little bit, a little bit into, you know, around 9-11, it declines a little bit. But it's pretty level. You know, 2010 compared to 1980, it's basically the same. And then after 2010, it craters. Why? Why does young adults' happiness crater after 2010? Well, I know correlation is not causation, but I'm looking at similar charts on family studies. And I can't help but notice that around 2010 is exactly when birth rates in the United States really started to crater again. Yeah, so birth rates have been below replacement since 1971, I think it is. And they've been going up and down over the years, from 1980, 1990, you know, they're all. But you can see starting just before 2010, crucially, right before 2010, birth rates really start to take a precipitous decline again. It's up and down, up and down, but it's pretty precipitous decline. Now, I'm no statistician, okay? But yeah, there's another one from USA Facts, shows essentially the same thing. There's a big collapse around 1970. It really starts to go down. But then, again, right around 2010, it starts to decline again. I think young people are unhappy because they're not having kids. That's why young people are unhappy because they're not having kids. Because you go back to our buddy Aristotle. Aristotle says that happiness is what men are after, what people are after. And happiness is not just feeling good. It's not just popping a drug. It's not just, you know, jamming out, shaking around to the music like in that meme. It's not, no. Happiness is excellent rational activity in accordance with virtue. It's activity, not passivity. It's rational activity, not irrational activity. It's rational activity, not done poorly, but done with excellence. And it's rational activity done with excellence in accordance with virtue. Meaning that you are happy when you are doing things that make sense with a purpose. And at a biological level, having kids is about as good as it gets. Now, we're not just biology. We're also spirit. We're also intellect worlds. But having kids makes sense. It really shows us our purpose. Not everybody is called to have kids. Not everybody gets to have kids. There's infertility. Some people are called to religious vocations. It's a fallen world. But 999 times out of a thousand, you're called to have kids. And we stopped having kids. We stopped having kids, by the way, to bring us back to the very top of the show, not just to the weird sex stuff, but also to liberalism as a corrosive ideology. We stopped having kids because we were told that having kids makes us unhappy. It obviously does limit our individual autonomy. It puts someone else before we're putting ourselves. So liberalism constantly was telling us, don't have kids, don't have kids, don't have kids, which is why liberalism has made us miserable. And it's for young people especially. Because young people, 20, what is it, 24 to 35, those are the people who have kids, or don't have kids. Politics doesn't have to be all that complicated. You know, all the genius eggheads, well, you know, it's actually, there's a multitude of factors, and it's all really complicated. And that's why we need to put you on a bevy of pharmaceutical drugs and send you to therapy for 30 years. And we need to study. We need critical studies of all the blah, blah, blah, blah. It's not that hard. You want to be happy just like getting married and have kids? Or have a religious vocation, but you do those things, you're probably going to be happy. It's a fallen world. Manage your expectations. And more importantly, make sure that you're right with God, because ultimately that's the only way that you're going to have full joy, because we're not just physical bodies, we're also immaterial substances. And so the only way that you could possibly satisfy that, even just at a very rational level, the only way to satisfy your deepest longings is by uniting with any material substance, notably the greatest substance, being himself pure act who is God, whom we relate to in the physical world, because God is incarnate and leaves the sacraments and we're bodies too. But you don't want to get that heady about it. Just at a real first thing you do tomorrow, get married and have kids, you'll be happy. It's not that complicated. Liberalism and the defenses of liberalism are just this centuries-long project of convincing us that really simple stuff is actually super complicated. It's not. It's not. Medieval peasants, illiterate medieval peasants who worked in the dirt every day of their lives understood the most important facts of the world much better than we do. That's a hard pill to swallow, but it is true. Okay. There's a lot more I want to get to because Elmo is teaching kids Arabic. The European Union is now ordering Hungary to queer its kids.
