Summary

This episode covers the Southern Charm reunion Part 2, focusing on Craig's denial and lack of self-awareness, and Vanita's frustration with being excluded from the group. The hosts then pivot to Below Deck Down Under, analyzing the explosive kitchen confrontation between Chef Ben and new sous chef Ellie, exploring workplace dynamics, communication patterns, and the chemistry between two volatile personalities.

Insights
  • Unresolved interpersonal conflicts fester when not addressed immediately; delayed confrontation leads to disproportionate emotional explosions that shock the other party
  • Passive-aggressive behavior (performing tasks without acknowledgment-seeking) is ineffective communication; direct requests and clear expectations prevent resentment buildup
  • Workplace power dynamics and generational communication styles clash when older authority figures use outdated pet names that younger employees perceive as diminishing
  • Two trauma-informed individuals with similar triggers can either create explosive conflict or become transformative forces for each other through mutual accountability
  • Kitchen culture normalizes aggressive behavior and verbal patterns that would be unacceptable in other professional environments, requiring conscious deprogramming
Trends
Workplace communication training becoming essential as generational expectations around respect and autonomy shift in service industriesReality TV increasingly showcasing unscripted trauma responses and mental health dynamics rather than manufactured dramaRecognition that high-performing individuals with difficult personalities require different management approaches than traditional authority structuresShift toward immediate conflict resolution in team environments rather than hierarchical suppression of employee concernsIncreased awareness of how gendered language and pet names function as power dynamics in professional kitchens and service roles

Oh Amy, I'm great. Great to be with you. Good morning. Good morning, as they said. Oh, as they do say. You know who's famous for that is Giselle. And we all know Giselle's podcast. Remember Giselle's podcast, Reasonably Shady? She's the only one on it. Anyway, that's a throwback to an earlier episode. When I was slightly Reasonably Shady leaving Robin out of the equation, I apologize. I apologize Robin. Well Robin's sleeping during it, so we can't count on her. Even if she's there, she's resting. She uses all the opportunity that she has to be either on mic or on screen to take a load off. Who knew that on this day we would just pop in and just drag Robin? Robin? Like who knew it was Robin's day? You know today, no one is safe. Okay, we're coming for you. No one is safe. And let it be said that my name is not Honey or Bunny. Don't ever call me Honey. My name is Elena. My name is Elena or Ellie. I'm not Bunny, I'm not Bunny, I'm not anything. Okay, thank you. That's the energy we're coming in with today. So just don't sleep on your podcast. We aren't. Let's do this. Okay, here we are. We've got a lot to discuss. We're going to discuss a little bit of the last reunion of Southern Charm, and then we're going to head on over to Below Deck Down Under. So everybody gather around. There's going to be a lot of stuff that's happening. It's fucking disgusting. I can't believe. How dare you? How's that happening? How's that happening with these drops? Listen, why don't we talk a little bit about Southern Charm? Oh, yeah. I just want to mention Southern Charm because I wanted to say that I felt like, I felt like Craig really, the most shocking thing is like he didn't watch the season, you know? Yeah. And it's just a perfect example of how he is living in denial and not willing to look at himself. No one wants to watch a season when they're going to look bad, or if there's something on it that's going to make them say, I'm going to need to change something. Right. And I did appreciate at the end that Madison's like, I'm in Craig. You don't want to look, maybe you should watch the season. After her being the only person that had his back, which was very nice, but at the end of the day, let's not be codependent, you know? What were your thoughts about Craig in the reunion? It was fascinating to watch someone operate in the way he did. And throughout that episode, he was just like pulling people to the side and just being like, God, I was perfect up until that one moment, you know? She's saying it's the bus ride, but like that wasn't anything. He was just sort of trying to get people on his side and lay this groundwork. And Andy, when he said that to him, was like, I mean, he's such a pro. He was just like, hey, interesting take. So I just found it like, God, that's a slippery, slippery type. And you know, it took an entire episode with all of these people constantly going at him for him to, you know, buckle a bit and let down. Yeah. So that was my one thought, which was like, it was fascinating to watch this type of person. And then the other thing that I just felt so strongly, which I really hadn't gotten until that episode was Vanita and Craig. What I understood finally was that he just has been like, there's never been, I was going through my life and my friendships and people that I've had as you do, like that I've had a problem with, right? So I'm like, have I ever in my life has there been someone who does actively doesn't like me and I like them? Right. No. That's not a thing. So he has never, and he said it several times in the episode, we don't like you, right? Like, or I don't know you. We're not friends. We don't know each other. What I really understood is like, and which I wish she had said was why. Yeah. Well, no, but this is from the beginning. This isn't about like, he just has decided he doesn't like her. That's not about what he, she said about his ex girlfriend or anything like that. Just like, no, it's just like, we've never, he said it. We've, I, you know, we've never been friends. And it's like, we're in a small group. And why? Yeah. And why? Why? Why have you not decided? Taking time to get to know me. Try to incorporate me into the group like you would any other cast member. Any other person. Yeah. We don't have the luxury of being on a cast and just being like, I'm denying this person access to the general basic. Like, how can they not move on already from this? Like, that's what's so crazy to me. It's such a stupid argument at the end of the day that you can move on from. Yes. And I wish she had, she was so close to just being like, why have you never given me a chance? Because that's the question. Yeah. You know, that is really the question that is there is like, why am I not considered by you? And I thought she did a good job of saying like, I'm taking responsibility actually feel bad that I said that I said that because yeah, I want to get back at you because you actively don't accept me on a TV show that we're both on and you've never made an inroad towards me. Yeah. And just, and just putting a wall up and not even wanting to argue about it. That's why it's going on for so long. Yeah. We cannot move forward. We have to do that on these shows. No, we can't. And it's annoying as hell. It's ridiculous. It's so uninteresting too. Like you could be fighting about something completely separate that would be more interesting for everyone and the show. If you could at least move on from this, maybe you could fight about something that's actually between you two instead of about other people. Right. And so I do feel like her saying it plainly, there's no but I'm sorry for what I said. Yeah. I did seem to at the end find his way to something with her. You know, so I think that was some kind of movement, but I just overall, I'm just not impressed. Like it's not the worst feeling in the world. That is the worst feeling in the world where someone just denies your existence essentially. Well it's the deepest insult. Yeah. Totally. It's so immature of him to act like that when he is older, more situated on this show, more of a veteran. So yes, I found that it was interesting to hear him talk about like therapy and stuff like that. And look, he is a case study. Watching him is an absolute interesting journey to be on. And who knows what? Him and Austin talk about a toxic friendship. You know, I mean, if they weren't on this show together, they would never be friends. Right. I mean, I think it would have been, they wouldn't have had to try and keep figuring it out. Yeah. What about when Charlie was like trying to argue like, no, we weren't together. No, I didn't say that. And yeah, so they had two different stories, which is always strange to me. Which means somebody's not. Yeah. That means Charlie. She's on planet Earth. Sorry. She is firmly her feet are on the ground. He acted like an insane person and she was like, yeah, I'm not interested anymore. It's very simple, very simple. They had a little something going on. They went on a few dates. He made it way more than it was because he's like a like a four year old when it comes to women. I believe her when she said she was on Ryan. I told him. I believe her when she said, he said, you can kiss me now if you want. Weird. It's arrogant. It's. I couldn't think of a way. I'd be so turned off. Oh my gosh, gross. So gross. I would, I would be stuck on stupid like, yeah. What? I'd be like, okay. You can open the front door for me because I'm going to be leaving now. We can all do. Yeah. Austin and Sally. What do you think about Sally just really holding tight to wanting to be with Austin, but really playing her cards the way that she thinks that he wants them to be played by like not saying any much has happened. Still kind of his biggest fan. He I do appreciate him not telling the world about what if anything happened between them if they did whatever is they did. I absolutely appreciate that. It's expected that a group of people on this show are going to be like, so you after don't lie about it. It's like, okay, well, I mean, do you really think it's classy to say that you did? I have a little darker take on that, which is that I think he doesn't want to say it because he doesn't want his acts to hear it. That's where I think his motivation is coming from. You're right. Oh, wow. You're right. Of course. I mean, maybe there's a little bit, but I think that's the genuine. But I also don't think that's dark. I think that's still respectful. Yeah. Do you? He's, well, I think that he's that kind of guy that like now that she's gone, he misses her and he wants her back, but he, they would be in the same position that they would, you know, so what do I think? I think I'm not impressed. Hmm. You know, I was so impressed and now I am not. I am not. Boy, did I just get turned around. I appreciate that. Now it's just disgusting. It's not right. It's not right. Oh my God. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I think he's also like no Sally so far gone that God damn. I mean, I did feel bad for her by the end of the episode between Vinita not wanting to take pictures with her and this guy not wanting to say he like, you know, wants any girl. My God. When you put it like that, that's terrible. Yeah. That's bad. Charlie not, you know, you know, it's just one after another. Yeah. She can't, she can't catch a break at that reunion. So no. Well, it's over. Southern charm is over and all our eyes are on summer house, but now it's time to move into below deck down under. It's not her election, darling. Well, we have got to talk about honey, darling, boo boo, sweetie pie and Ellie who holy shit did she go off? He's the one who ever called me honey. My name is Elena. Okay. My name is Elena or Ellie. I'm not honey. I'm not bunny. I'm not anything. Okay. There's nothing better than I enjoyed that way too much. Look, I am not saying that she should have gone off like that. I do think she took it too far for sure, but she was a hundred percent triggered over and over again. And did I get pleasure in watching her put him in his place? I mean, that was so enjoyable. Oh my God. And his face was like, oh, potatoes, skin the potatoes. Oh, great. The parmesan. Like he was shaking in his chef coat. Like we've never seen, even when he said later, he's like, I think I met my match. I'm like, well, maybe I did. And I lost. And I lost. I mean, that was watching them too. I'm like, this is some war of the roses. Shit. This is shit that like you make a move. This is the relationship dynamic that you can do 15 years of a sitcom on, you know, like, oh my God, you are so right. It is chemistry. Fire. It's chemistry. You know, wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Damn. Yeah. They are equally matched in there. I don't know. It's just electric. It is. I completely, this is not a pattern that I live my life by anymore, but I, there are many times in my life where I have lived this way similar to Ellie in that I will let something build up and build up and build up. And like it's not the right time and place to bring it up. Yeah. And then once it's over, I am too weak-minded and scared or whatever the emotion is to bring it up at the right time and handle it in the appropriate way. So I have been absolutely in that place where I just let it all fester and then it's like, boom, explosions. It's just like fourth of July, you know, and it's not, it's not a good feeling. I mean, it feels kind of good, you know, to get it all off your chest. It's like, and another thing, and another thing, you know, and it is, has a bamboozling effect and a shock effect on the other person. Like you can't believe it. Because you, they thought that you were totally fine. Right. They're looking at you and you're, you seem right as rain. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. So, you know, a hint that you were bothered by honey or boo boo, nothing, not one mention of it. Yeah. But he pushed her to the, to a point like, I think she may have dealt with that for a longer period of time if he hadn't screwed up in another department. But here's the thing, the honey, the boo boo, the blah, blah, blah, wasn't really the issue. It was the other issue. And that's, it's always another issue that sets something off, you know what I mean? And that's, that's how I've learned as I've done my, the work. On myself, what I've learned is that you really just can't bury these things. You know what I'm saying? So if something happens, you can't bury those emotions. And it happened with me in a more of a toxic relationship where I had more fear of the other person. So that was a pattern in which that the whole situation was, was debunked, if you will. With Brett, I definitely brought in some of those patterns, but nowhere near to that degree. And his response would be like, where is this coming from? Like, yeah, like there's no connective tissue. Yeah. He's like, what? I thought that, like, why didn't you say something to me or whatever? I'm like, because this, and there's, there's always some reasons or excuses, and they're just excuses. And the bottom line is, is that there, there can't be any excuses. You either say it then, or you, or you get over it because it's really not fair to anybody because you're kind of fucking yourself too. So it's like, when I need something from Brett, I don't hold back anymore. You know, and this is something I figured out a long time ago, which is a great thing. And it's still sometimes hard to do because I don't want to like ask something like I, and then it ends up like, oh, I'm the hero. I'm the saint because I do all of this, blah, blah, blah. That's all bullshit. I don't want to be a saint or a hero anymore. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's instead of walking away from the kitchen after I did all the dishes and I did the laundry and I did this and I did that and I did the other thing. And well, I'm going to go in my room now because I'm tired, you know, and it's like, oh, no, nothing's wrong. You know, it's like, why, why, what's my problem? What am I holding onto? What end? Right? Who's going to be giving me a crown for this behavior? Nobody's coming. They're not calling you to. And the other thing is like men don't pick up on those things. They don't. They don't. Oh my God, do they not? Not even a little bit. So it's like you did a whole shebang. You did a whole performance that was not received. There was no audience. No, no, not received. And there's not going to be a review, not even a bad review. You know, no, they're just great. Nothing happened on there. Nothing happened. And you know what? You got to realize this is what you realize. I'm no queen. So now it's, I know you're tired because you just got home from work, but I really need you to please get Maddie's bath going because I have 800 things I need to do, you know. And then instead of like feeling bad that I'm, because normally I'd be like, I'd feel bad because he just had a really busy day and like he's stressed out and he's got a 100 things to do. It's like, well, I do too. And we're both busy people. So I just need to communicate more. And once I unlocked that, oh yeah, yeah, what a great life. Then we're cooking. Yeah, we're cooking with gas. We're cooking. So anyway, her freak out was just a delight. And then it was like, now let's try to pull back. But once you're there, you're gone and you can't pull back. She was so triggered. She was gone, baby, gone. Gone. I have a question for you because as I told you last night, I'm parachuting into Below Deck down under. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love that. My husband is actually watching. So like I've caught some of it, but I haven't, you know, how, because to me, the idea of pairing, now, Ellie, from my experience with her, and she is one of the most wild characters we've ever had in our lives. The idea of her being an assistant chef is already feels wild. So how did we get there? Did she have like, how did that? Do you know, the girl, Alicia, with the red lips who came in and, yeah, and Ellie's like, I put them in a place for both of us. And so because Alicia was his sous chef before. She had to leave the situation because it was such a toxic environment. So that's why she got her little happy dance. Oh yeah. Yeah. And so then they brought Ellie in. Ellie was supposed to come in, I think, to be a replacement for a stew, for interior, and then they moved her to the sous chef and then Alicia took over on the interior. So that's how they got her. She wasn't originally supposed to be in there, you know. Does she have any experience in the culinary world? Well, if you saw from this episode and if you've seen from others, you will have noticed that she's great in the kitchen. She's an incredible worker. She grew up in a bakery basically. Like she spent a summer in the bakery. That's why she could make that wedding cake. I thought it was amazing. I just didn't know if this was like on the job. It was, it is on the job training pretty much. She hasn't been that, but she's a really good worker and she knows how to do things at an expedient pace and do what? But him being like, you're the boss now. Like, oh, baby. You know, I started to think like, did the producers tell him it's really irritating her that you're calling her honey and sweetie? So we think there might be something there that you got, we could get out of it because he's really doing it like a lot. And so I was thinking like, would they have done that? But then he didn't know how bad it actually was. I don't think he knew what he was going to be delivered. No. And you know what? Someone like him and he is a piece of work. Yeah. Okay. I have, we've talked about this before, I worked in restaurants a really long time. The craziest I've ever been in my life is with chefs. Crazy. Crazy. Same with me. We both worked in restaurants and we both have that in common. We're not going to speak for all of them, but the ones, the experience that we've had, they've all been insane, crazy, mad, angry. Yeah. And like it doesn't mesh with my personality. Like it evokes in me something that is so combative and not unlike what we saw with Ellie. You know, it just maybe delivered differently, but like it right folks fury. Like it's just not a match. It's like whatever that is, it ain't for me. You know, like, no, right. And I think he's so tricky and arrogant and also can be funny and cool, but like talented. But you know, that, that, that, I mean, just, I did die that he after that, he said, I am and he's making eggs that are literally dripping with water. You know, he's, his eggs are showing what his body and mind are feeling like. It gets coming out in a scrambled egg. Yes, it is. You're right. That's how chefs cry. Daisy's like, I don't know what the fuck is going on in here, but this fucking egg is got tears in it. Can you fucking fix this? Where you can take an edible, but you don't feel too high. That's Loomi. Welcome to the Loomi Gummy World. You guys, you know, I talk about it probably a little too much on this podcast, but the point is I love Loomi gummies. They are consistent. It was like, okay, we're going to need you to leave now. She was like, I'm in charge. Yeah, she did a great job. And then also- She had to. Yeah. She's really cool under pressure. And I did appreciate her being in the cabin with Ellie and being like, you can't solve anything by losing your temper. I thought when he said, I'm actually getting intimidated by you right now, right before he said that, I thought, is she going to hit him? Wow. I actually wondered that. I'm like, she's getting real close. And she has, I'm going to haul off on the energy. She has that energy. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. And look, she's seen and lived some things. So I get, I get, but she needs to get into some good, they both need therapy. Yeah. I'm not going to just point it at Ellie. I mean, clearly, like, but to have a trigger point, you know, we all have them. We all have them. But I actually did not really hear or understand the thing that she was the most upset about. Did you? Because it wasn't the honey, the sweetie stuff is what she like, you know, popped off on. But when she was like, I won't have you speaking to me like that way. Never, ever, ever, ever. And he's like, what did I do, baby? And so it must have been something else that had to do with the cooking. Because later on, she explained, if we, if I would have known, I could have prioritized, because I think she said like, I would have prioritized this instead of that. And then he, he said something. No, I'm just, I'm sorry. I'm like dying of this dynamic is just, it's so funny. It was a matter of time. I mean, and then chef, I mean, the captain sort of lurking about trying to get an eye on things, him needing to go get M&Ms, you know, after and just like, get back to one, you know, like, the regulate. Yeah, to regulate. He was like, give me a handful. When he kept sneaking around the corner, like making sure everything goes okay. That's how I felt when Maddie's like, has a friend over and they're not getting along or like they're on a FaceTime and they're not getting along because they're gaming. And I'm like, I'm outside the door going, all right, when do I step in? Yeah. See if they figure this out. Let's see if they figure this out. Okay, I'm going to have to go in, you know. Yeah. Oh my God. I'm going to have to go in. It was a delightful to see him, chef Ben, so rattled and so unsettled. Listen, was the right time and place moments before dinner service? That was really hard. And she's not experienced in the kitchen. So that takes it to a whole different level. Like you don't even know better at that point to bury it until after third course is out. Like even second course. So she doesn't even know. And he's like, we don't do this baby. We throw the pulse after we serve, you know, like, to think about, I'm sorry, I don't mean to put you off, but I'm sorry. I forget. I wonder how triggered he must have been because he has, he's been physically abused in the kitchen. So with her pot popping off on him like that, and it probably triggered his past and when he got a fucking hot pot thrown at his skull. Remember he's talked about that? Oh, so now that I'm thinking about him and I'm laughing, but I didn't really think about that at all until right now. And I mean, that's not cool either. I mean, we don't want to hurt each other or bring up abuse. But what I see when I pull back, I see two people who have been abused, like, and have had really hard lives. So you see their issues coming forward. It's amazing that this is even on reality television because that puts a whole other element to it. And they're not even really performing. That's the other thing. No. No, ma'am. No. And that's where we saw the running eggs. And he thought she was going to hit him. I do believe that. I do believe that. Yeah, I think you're right. But then when they had to do their recovery work, the next couple of years, he thought he was going to hit him. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Do their recovery work the next morning? Recovery work, Deanna? No. That was some of... That was the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life. He was gassing her up. But they got somewhere. Yes. I thought that was really good. Yeah. It's like, you know what? Guess what? It worked. Mm-hmm. He had to sit with self that night, crisscross applesauce, and figure out how to proceed. Because this girl, no one has gotten him sorted like this girl has. Ever. Ever. Ever. I mean, he hasn't been in that situation since his early days of being a sous chef himself. Right. 30 years, probably. Probably. And someone put him on his heels in such a fashion. So he just really regrouped. And he killed it with kindness. He killed it with kindness. And it worked. And she did something that PS, it worked. She did something she loved with that cake. Gorgeous. And you know what? It's a beautiful thing. Food can bring people together. Work and a craft, anything with your hands. Yes. It can fix the mind by doing something. And when she showed up in that kitchen, Deanna, and she was like, put me to work? What can I do? It was like, you know, punching in, but it was more like an army. Uh-huh. Like, which weapon do you want me to hold? It was like, oh, shit. She's ready to fight. But she's ready. She's going to show up. And it's such an insult to her because she takes work so seriously and with so much respect. Like when Ben was going to bring in Mike or whatever to Joao to bring in the rotation of plates and she's like, that is my job. I won't have it. I was like, holy, he was like, uh, right, baby. I mean, Ellie, right. Just rotate that. I mean, I mean, my God. No. It did. Yeah. It did have a color. It's like, you can't say these words are ingrained in his body. It's part of how he, those are his M&Ms, you know, like saying the sweetie baby sugar pie. That's how he gets through. It's a vibe. I don't mind it personally. I, I would probably probably work on me and it would work for me. You know. So he's also having to, it's almost like saying you can't use the word. Uh, you know, right? Yeah. Do your service. Cook. You can't say the word cook. You can't say food. You can't say knife. Right. Now go ahead and do your job. So he's also having a, oh my. Really work, use this harder than he's ever had to. They may end up together at me, Amy. I mean, they may. I don't know if they could end up together. They would kill each other. I do know they may be the best thing that's ever happened to each other because they may figure things out together. Like I know he will spend months laying in bed thinking about her period. This will be a long time before he releases. And I think there was a part of him that was turned on. I do. I do. Yeah. For sure. I mean, she's a beautiful woman. So I mean, that's also, I mean, it's like a dominatrix. She basically comes into the kitchen like a dominatrix. Yeah. It may have activated a fetish for him. It may have activated something. You know, a latent. Now let's get back to the darling sweetie thing because I just want to mention that it's interesting that at this point in the world where we are with me too and with, and I know that essay is completely different than these pet names. However, women don't want to be spoken to like that anymore. Like even back in the fucking eighties, we had our shoulder pads on and we're like, don't call me dolly. You know, like we, we've made strides. So here he is in the kitchen and I know it's a different type of business, but he doesn't know to start lightening up on these pet names. Like, come on. And then to your point, it wouldn't be triggering to me. No. Like it would be for her, but I get why it would be for most women and it should be. Sure. It's like, listen, it depends who's saying it. But that all, like, yes, as I said, it would work for me. Um, but you're like, I would, I would work harder. I mean, no, I mean, I probably would know. I probably, it would work for me from him. Why? I don't know, you know, it, but all in, it is an important lesson for him because it isn't the time. It isn't the place. You have to get a handle on that. And it is like breathing for him. And this is where men get real confused because they have to pivot out of behavior that is ingrained. Yes. And it's hard. Mm hmm. Now, if he were the sous chef and she were the chef, he couldn't speak to her like that. Right? No. No. Now, what if she was speaking to him like that? Listen, these are hypotheticals that I can't figure out. Well, you're going to have to. You're going to have to today it is happening. Hold on. Okay. You be, you be Ben. Okay. Oh, God. I'll be Ali. How does he sound? Just do Austin Powers. Okay. Okay. Okay. Are you, are you slicing the onions? Honey. Sorry, I forgot to say the, I forgot to say the pet name. See, I'm not used to it. It's so not normal for women. Okay. Right. Honey, baby, sweetheart, sweet cheeks. Are you, are you, are you cutting the onions? Yeah, darling. I am. So they just talk back and forth like that. I don't know. I tried to bring it down a notch, but just also like, okay, let me try it one more time. I don't know. I think you kind of nailed it. It was very under. Okay. It was understated, you know? Yeah. Yeah, I, I, But that would be weird because she wouldn't do that. Right. No, it's, it's of a time and a place. Yeah. You know, that's, listen, an older woman can honey, sweetie pie, sugar baby me up as much as they want. It is site specific. It's person specific, but as a general rule, if you can't manage it, which I don't think he can, you're going to have a problem working in 2026. Yeah. Even on a yacht. Even on a yacht. Where everybody's f'ing each other in the, in the anchor locker. In the anchor locker. Wow. Anyway, what a, what a delight. And then you've got the captain who's, he's not coming in strong at all. I mean, he left the room for them to do their recovery work. That's not a good idea. He needed to stay there. I mean, he, I think that was, he, he's an excellent manager. I do think the captain is. I really do. I do. I think he had to see if they, first of all, he doesn't want to, he can't lose him. No. And he doesn't want to lose her because she has a legitimate gripe. Yeah. So he had to see, can you get your s*** together? And I do think he needed to let them try it. I mean, maybe he had one ear, you know. Oh, he's standing right by. Yeah. But I think once he heard all the pleasantries and the gassing up and all that, he probably said, all right. Yeah. It's time for them to go work things out. Whatever you do is going to have hurdles. Hurdles. That was a hurdle. That was a big hurdle. All right. Well, I mean, below deck, other than the galley being the most intense place in the world, Mike is just running around. He's doing a good job, then he's not doing a good job. And then he is just, he's such a little gossip, you know what I mean? Like he just loves to just, just spin some tales. And Daisy's great, of course. The guests and the weddings, super cute. Sweet. Okay. Really sweet. I want to just say, crazy day. And I will just say that those panko, to give it to Ben as we leave. The panko crusted baby eggplant. Holy shit. Slay. Slay. Slay. He did a great job. That thing looks insane. Insane. The mahi mahi looked amazing too. He makes a pretty plate. Yeah, he does. He does.
