•Jan 31, 20263 months agoSummary
Episode 899 covers J. Cole's surprise 'The Fall Off' freestyle project, a deep dive into Fab vs. Lloyd Banks debate, Grammy weekend safety concerns, and parenting strategies around incentivizing children's behavior. The hosts also discuss Don Lemon's federal arrest, Steph Curry's fashion choices, and broader cultural trends in hip-hop.
Insights
- J. Cole's direct-to-consumer strategy (pay-what-you-want website, text-based marketing) demonstrates how established artists can bypass traditional label distribution while maintaining chart dominance
- The 'Big Three' debate in hip-hop reflects industry anxiety about lack of clear generational succession and farm system for developing new superstars
- Parenting through conditional rewards can backfire if parents lack follow-through, creating cycles of failure and resentment rather than motivation
- Federal prosecution of journalists covering protests signals potential weaponization of law enforcement against media critics of the current administration
- Atlanta's interconnected artist ecosystem (Thug, Gunna, Drake relationships) remains crucial to regional cultural output despite individual artist struggles

Top down, screamin' out the niggas all lanes. Came up from the mud puddles, did it all change. Livin' ghetto fast like my brother named Park K. Someone on the way I hate to say we lost shame grown man peddling gossip of all things I remember when it was rapping a bar plan. He's got a bread and butter and jappin and parlay Oh, man, your name's a big conversation max deals for Luca Donchick live in the Aiken So nowadays you can make a grip commentating if your master choose kids either dig around in your ass I'm starting this over Yeah, go ahead I'm starting this over By the time he hit that Aw, man I was like Aw, man Hey, I was saying it too I was saying it too No, I'm playing this again, man I'm so happy for Kluh I'm so happy for Kluh, man I've been saying for weeks It's about fucking time I've been saying for months I've been saying for, y'all know how I feel. Years, man. Yeah, I've been saying this. I've been on this. Kluge's don't get the fucking respect that he deserves in hip-hop. I think a large part of that is due to LimeWire, Napster, and drama going to jail. Yes, sir. So, you know, that's like so many of ours, our that-piffed history is gone. Whatever we were doing before SoundCloud on some just getting Lucy's out there, that shit is gone. This game has taken off, and niggas are getting millions for selling their catalog, and it's just like an ocean of joints that are gone. And part of that is the Clue legacy, and now the kids have gotten older, and they think that Clue is some radio DJ nigga. Right. Yeah, they just don't know. And we've seen Capri get his shine on Kendrick. We've seen Drama get his shine from the very shit he's done and the Tyler Project on the mainstream level. Yeah, so it's nice to see Klug in his Yeah, I'm not gonna lie It's overdue This was an era To hear him shout out Paul Kane Yeah Was important to me Even just the way, I mean we skipped a little bit But like the way that he was rapping Was like on some old foreshit Yes You know what I'm saying, like the style in which he approached these beats Yeah Was like throwback vibes Any guesses as to why all bad boy beats? Hmm I never even thought about that I didn't think about that I never even thought about that I think it's just a matter of Think about it for a little bit Let's get back Yeah, go ahead Think about it for a little bit Let's get back, man So glad y'all could be here with us today, man Chapter 1 of the last time of this You know how we do You know how we do You know how we do Word, word Culture Culture Oh, the good old days. Oh, man. I don't think he was talking about me by the way I don't think that's for me But it's a huge mess I don't think that's for me I don't think that's for me I don't write comments I'm a dumbass With Charles from pictures of Pym Charles to fall off They wanna know if this is the end all Be all So this rap gang's trained as he's the armor Whole new breed for those that wonder who he think he is That's under at night to wake up this sleepy head It's lessstorey then the expense it can make my mistake was just marginally it. it's like it Records Best verse below open up Harder At this point he peeved. He is annoyed at boy. He saw that podcast. He's like, now hold up. Your podcasters out there. The rest of y'all. Y'all been talking so much shit. And he heard y'all. Didn't like it. He didn't like it one bit. By the time I finish New Joints, I'm going to see if I'm brave enough to shoot at some of you niggas too because I agree with him. Look what y'all did. Look what y'all did. Y'all. Y'all, yeah, it was them. It was definitely them. But now, this is why he's confusing before I play the rest of this. This is track one on this. It did sound like he opened up with some fire for all of the podcasters and engagement influencer people that have been running him out. Yeah. Right? And he sounded annoyed by it. Uh-huh. But then later on, he loves it. Right. He absolutely loves it. I think it's the last bar in the tape. And we know he loves that. You could love it. Like he said, if you know anything about this nigga, you know that he's happy that retired rappers or older rappers get to do that. I believe him. I take him at his word. But I guess you can still shoot at some of these things. Both of these are true. I can be happy y'all got this and y'all still pissing me off. And y'all still bitches for running y'all mouths. Gossiping on couches Gossiping parlaying I don't like that parlaying shit I ain't like that That's all it is It's parlaying Oh wait now Is he shooting at Simba? Simba is online Acting like He's shooting at him I didn't catch that Let's hear it Young Simba, some niggas do some hate my way But the only thing they should say is Cole You're like a father to me He's been calling himself Simba for fuck his sake No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Play Simba control and you will hear how he shouted Cole Cole heard it, he listened And Cole ain't the type to get on the internet I'm gonna address you when I'm ready to And he's right, he's talking directly to him Okay And even if the young Simba part is in reference to himself Everything around, yeah, it's not But everything around Let's go together Who is a toddler to Jermaine? Stop bothering me. And you're annoyed. You're being a nuisance. Whoever he's talking to, you're being a jerk. You are disrupting his study time. A lot of this shit is shoe fits to me. But maybe it is. No, no. I got you. Wait, wait. I agree with you. I think a lot of shit on here is shoe fits. Yeah. I think some of it ain't. Okay. I got you. Don't worry about it. Stop bothering me, young siblings. Some niggas do some hate my way, but only thing that they should say is call you like a father to me. The top ain't really what I thought it was me. And so I jumped off and landed back in the bottom and restarted at a level where I wasn't regarded as much. Thoughts. Thoughts. Let's stop it for a second and talk. I'm in such a great mood. Mona, the origin of this show is this. I know you think like we off script. We bugging, we talking, and we joking. Listen, the start of this. Oh, I missed the start. Let's get back to the essence. We're here. We're here. Not doing it for free, though. Now, let's take it back to the roots, but, like, let's slow down. Let's not get crazy. Oh, my Lord. First kid, right here, I just be like, yo, he just raps better than everybody else. Like, that's the first thing I thought when I was listening to this. He just rapping his fucking ass off. But also you could tell he'd been holding some shit in and he'd been waiting to get off. And I just love hearing him go away. See, I don't even think he's been holding shit in. I think this is fairly new. It sounds like he's even talking about, yo, it's cold as fucking New York and snow. It sounds like he was just like, you know what? I got time. Kill these beats, man. Again. Yeah. But I'm also had shit. Yeah. I'm going to play. No, you are not. We are not saying Dennis Rodman During the Derrick Rose tribute Because you're sitting here being like We don't know who we talking about No, me and you and Tommy Barnes Alright, what I'm saying is My initial thoughts I hear Clue I see the cover Love the cover I'm like, oh shit I have Blizzard 96 in my phone So I'm like, oh shit You ain't got Blizzard 96 No, you always whining I'm joking with you I'm joking with you Sometimes I gotta remind you who I am know who you are free. Sometimes I have to remind you. Come on, stop playing with free. You know, that intro wouldn't have happened earlier if it wasn't for me. That's a fact. That's a fact. And me. Because I rapped it. But I'm just saying, he didn't have you. He didn't have you. I'm automatically looking at it like, oh, you're setting the bar extremely high. For what? For the field or for? No, no, no, no, no. For what I'm about to hear. Got it. Okay. Like you're building anticipation for this. Yeah. All right. You got clue. You got the cover I hear victory Oh We know what was done to victory A couple times Exactly So it's automatically Going to be a comparison Whether you want to or not We'll talk about Banks A little later But That's still in a shrine somewhere To me Banks That Banks victory freestyle Is in a shrine somewhere Oh yeah No that's what I'm saying A separate part Of the cemetery Agreed That's what So if I hear you Start off on victory You know You go to graveyard try to see a few people, but sometimes somebody on here is a little walk. It's the big sheet. It's the long, long walk before we start talking about some of these other things. I was there for that. MCs were afraid. But that's my point. But anyway. So hearing Victory, I'm like, oh wow, we know you've got some big shoes to fill if you're choosing this beat and choosing it first. You reminded me of another point I want to say that I forgot about earlier. Yeah, there's a sea of songs in the ocean somewhere, but another part is none of you niggas can do it anymore that they can't y'all can't do it can't do that yeah nobody tell me there's only a handful what to try to do it there's only a handful they can't do it they can't do it like i respect there's a few niggas that that rap at a high level for they level and they go give it a puncher shot i appreciate that oh you niggas like rapping go ahead and rap get it off a lot of you niggas that go over there to fucking the 106 uh what's the shit power power yeah a lot of y'all that on the radar all of them yeah a lot of y'all you're giving it your best hey hurrah i think that's great but it ain't a clue tape fam and before we even finish now now i'm getting out a clue tape get shut up you go ahead yeah you you the perfect person understand the fucking pressure of a clue tape first of all you couldn't just get on a clue tape at all yeah you couldn't just get a record deal think you could rap be hot on your block and get on the clue tape. That wasn't happening. You had to be like a dog. Like a dog dog. A dog. Fab was probably going to get the first slot because business is business. But shit, when he did shit. Kids is getting the first slot. Yeah. A new lock. You stand with, you are being sandwiched behind niggas, yo. Yeah. That was killers. Yeah. Sometimes I wouldn't mind being track 13 and 14. And even that, you're not home free. No. He's surrounding you with some shit down there. And Clue would, and Clue's such a fucking, he would never tell you what he had for the tape either. That's kind of crazy. He wouldn't tell you what he had for the tape. He would just be like, all right, did you do your thing? Because Kiss, Kiss was in the, in the studio last night with us. to drop something like huh let me go hear my to hear my shit again but abbey hood was in a frenzy jersey city swore i was a multi-millionaire off of clue tapes clue tapes went around this is back to just appreciating things regionally yeah this is a big like tri-state type of culturally significant for our upbringing when i heard the Like that shit Give you a little chills That shit is different People don't understand Bro that shit came with a haircut A haircut A Sergio Chikini And a car wash That shit was a time capsule So y'all the rappers That's on the tape We're in here Everybody else verse Will it come out? No No Bro that shit was It was something It was a movement But that went to my point Like when X and them Was on they climb Yo you had to deal With all of them niggas Yeah Remember we had to argue we ain't argue, but it was a point going around about the 50 cent X and all of that and they chopped it up Bro, you had to deal with all of that. Some of these niggas didn't have record deals. They still was killers Yeah, you had to deal with that. It wasn't no gimmicks. It wasn't no melodies It wasn't you had to get on a fucking tape and rap using words. It wasn't no harmonizing the music Wasn't no marketing. The bill to save you. The hook. Yeah. Wasn't no post on Instagram. Yeah. No TikTok dance. Nope. You had to be a motherfucking shark. Well manicured. Well manicured content to make the record look hotter than it is. Nope. With the HD cameras and good lighting. Nah. Wasn't that. I feel like Clue should be selling like a voice pack. Like or ad lib kit. Yeah. Like some AI. No. They should hire Clue to do it. Bulls, fuck them. Yeah, they should. Yeah. Well, yeah, but... Nah, you can sell more of the fucking pack. Nah. Bro, you think there's a coward if there's no clue? Do I think there is a coward? I don't think there's not a lot of these niggas if there's no clue. I think there's a coward. I think that's the evolution of the clue. Coward was around, by the way. He just wasn't the coward that we know. Coward was around as a radio DJ. He was a radio DJ. He was a Terrence Kwas DJ. That's the person. You know what I'm saying? He is a template, yeah. Yeah. And what separates Clue, I mean, because Flex put out an album before. Yeah, a lot of them. But Clue was producing. Capri, all of them. Clue was producing. Dura was mixing. Listen, man. Shout out to Dura. Shout out to Dura. Shout out to Dura, man. Miss you and I love you. For J. Cole to do this and go this route, it ain't a lot of people that are that good. I don't know. Asian rappers, the bullets, crazy afro, kids that do front doors and left holes in a baby mama's favorite bathroom. They got no one's home, I'm sowing the stone, might wake up at four in the morning. Start moving along, but step in the space, left in your place and going alone. Creep to your room, put four in your dome. Get your girl, scream to the queen, bitch, go in your tone. Matter of fact, go on your phone, add me on I-A-T. I used to be top screen, why did you drop me? Way out of the top screen, no problem, probably leave my best when they doubt me. That rhyme scheme is vintage. Give it to me. I love the words, right? It was dope. But I don't want to hear you. I don't even want to hear you talk about this top three, big three shit no more. To me, he's setting it up. He's making the narrative about the fall off being the fall off. This is orchestrated. What's happening right now? I trust it. The fall off has been playing for years and years. this all just kind of worked perfectly in that narrative if I was top three now I'm out because ah he's playing into it right here I get it I just don't want to hear it it's brilliant so you wouldn't address the situation at all fam move past that I don't need to hear nothing about I want to get as far away from that battle and everything that happened in that battle as possible I agree with you on that I'm just over it he's got to get his shit off but I think you got your shit off at the apology that's how I'm treating you you removed yourself you deleted the phone You apologize You want nothing to do with this Cool We accept that All wrong You accept All wrong I accept that I accept that I don't want to hear that shit That battle Burst A lot of things With I mean if I'm taking a matter of words But his friendships Yeah So at this point We not on the battle anymore We on shit That happened From the battle He's made himself clear That he don't give a fuck And want to talk about that battle So he don't So when he says the top three and all this shit, I'm not taking it as this is more battle talk. One, two, I know there are people that feel like ice and don't really want to hear certain things from J. Cole. I am not one of those people. I still want him to pop his shit. I still want him to talk like the baddest nigga on the planet. Go ahead, get it all off. As long as it ain't directly directed to nobody, like we just broadly saying, please. I don't want to strip one of the greatest rappers in the world of the ability that helps him to be one of the greatest rappers in the world. I don't want to be talking about. I can see if he was still saying I'm I'm top three or I'm at the top and he fucked these dudes. Because to me, you lost that privilege when you when you bowed out. But he's literally saying, I know what I did. That's why I'm not in people's top three. I'm OK being the underdog. And to me, that's perfectly appropriate, especially with a fall off with the album theme is the fall off. Can I ask you a question? Did you not like the apology in itself? Like, did that irritate you, that whole thing? No, no, no. Initially, I was just like, yo, what the fuck? But after seeing how the battle played out, I understand Cole's point. And we all understood. Like, yo, cool. I don't want y'all getting ready to get dirty like that. I don't want no parts of that. So I respect that. He can walk away with his sanity, his mental health. I don't got to fuck with none of this. So that's not my point. I'm just saying, I like Cole rapping. I'm the best there. I want him to continue that. You don't have to talk about Big 3 Or even mention Big 3 to do that though I can still feel I'm the best Maybe I don't want to do the direct battle With somebody because of the potential It can get dirty or ugly And I don't want to get in the mud with y'all But I still think I rap better than everybody I don't have to One on one engage and make diss songs To say that I'm better than you though So if that's the case, cool I just don't want to hear you do no more Big 3 talk Period, just say you the best Yeah I'm over it, say you the best and that's it When I hear him say big three, top three. But to the people that feel like that, like what I think is if you never hear the big three again, because I hear that's a new thing out there. Ain't no more big three. Ain't no more big three. Guess what, you guys? If y'all never hear the big three again, there's a big three. Of course, right. If each one of them never say that shit, guess what? It still exists. Know why? Edgestone. There were reasons and there are reasons. And I think a big part of what's underneath some of the public saying we don't want to hear that big three shit no more is a fear that exists because there's nobody else out there that looks like they're taking that mantle and they're about to do that with it. Of course, you have the exceptions that the young people are rolling with, which is NBA Youngboy and whoever they are. There's people out there that are doing great. But, you know, this week I've been having back and forth with people about the blog era, which I'm just not going to do because I was there for the blog era and participated in it. I saw you clapping back a little bit. I was surprised you even did that. Because I'm not going to debate. I'm not going to debate with these people. And Moo Music 3, we put out CDs. We put out CDs for a reason because the blog era had not just taken off. But 07 is, I'm only talking about 07. I think my words got misconstrued. The blog era is one of the greatest errors. It's proven to be that. I'm only talking about people overstating what it was in 2007. But in my back and forth with people, what I got to remembering and appreciating and just loving about and reminiscing about that particular era was all of the stars that came from that era. And they were undeniable Like it wasn't niche These were Drake in 08 09 Cole in 09 Kendrick Wale Wiz Mack Like There was nothing that the general public could do There was nothing that the public Rocky. It was Rocky. Rocky, for sure. The whole A's half. Yeah. Actually, yeah. The whole collective. We were talking about our future. The music business, the executives, the radio stations, the stores, the mom and pops. Like, that's what I'm saying. In 07, niggas like me was like fighting, putting joints on. By 09, 010, 2011, the industry had now acquiesced to what was going on. And no matter who's successful today, I don't think the general public feels like they have three or four people that you can easily see what the next 20 years in hip-hop looks like. Right. No. There's no farm system. That's what I'm saying. Really anymore. That was the farm system. I think that's by design, too, though, bro. Like, if the labels, even if people say labels are dying off, whatever, they still got a grip. They got to control on this. if there is no big three or big four whatever there's no top people we kind of get the control of the field a little bit better I think the label should always want stars I think the music business would always want stars I'm not saying stars I'm just saying those ones because now you have the risk of especially with all the information they ran the SoundCloud took every star off of SoundCloud and then SoundCloud went bankrupt So I mean Wherever the stars are The music business is going to go We don't want two or three of them They think they don't want to put all the eggs in the basket Of one star where they can get ten stars And maybe all added Cummatively can be the one star And that one star gets some information And now it's powerful And now I want to play hardball with y'all And I'm even reminded while J. Cole is talking That I'm a father to you niggas I was like, oh, shit. Like, when he said that, it was an age reminder for me. To you. Because you're on that way. He's a new nigga. Well, Jiggle, he's about our age. A couple years younger. Which is a little bit younger than you. He's not that far. It's not an age thing. How long have you been here? It's not a long time. It's not based on age. But when he says that, that's the other thing. Like, whoever the next person is or the new people are going to be, I mean, Does the public feel like you're going to get a run as long as J. Cole, Drake, Kendrick, Wale, Sean, Meek, Rocky, just these people and. Huh? No. Oh, man. Anyway, come on. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm rambling. Here we go. But I'm excited. TJ, TJ, TJ. Sorry, I feel good. Sorry that I'm in a good mood and love music. Okay. Okay. That was pretty clever. Yeah, that was dope. That was dope. And a quick 12 minutes of this, too. Like, he didn't OD. He didn't. He didn't, like, find a dope idea and then overdo it. Quick five joint, four joints. Then at the end of whatever Ice sent me was all of them together. And I let it rock. And I let it rock. That's cool shit. That's how the one they went first. Yeah, digitized. It was side A dot MP3, side B dot MP3. Yep. The whole tape I love Again He checked all the boxes He did For making it a clue A clue tape I I wasn't really on this one What do you mean? This freestyle Yeah Oh yeah This is probably my least I like the Lucian bar Just freestyle the overall project I don't love the overall project Like everyone else does Really? I love victory That's what I was fired I don't love the overall project The way everyone else does Again But part of it is because I know what happened on them beats. It's not... I should touch your leader. No, no, no, no. Listen. You chose these beats for a reason. You know what happened to these beats. You know... Same thing I said about victory. You're setting a very high bar that you might not even be able to reach. See, I love it because it just brings me back to a time. And I think he showed up in body. And it's him appreciating the time That's what I do I can appreciate that That's a really respectful thing To go find Clue To try and mimic that is an ode to hip hop And that's why J. Cole is bigger than Anybody that was on the Clue tape With the exception of three people He's bigger than All he need to do is be himself To his audience And rap to the best of his ability And for his people It's gonna hit like I don't even think his people Gonna appreciate this properly I don't think so The younger fans may not They're not gonna appreciate this properly I get what I used to say When you choose certain beats You saying I'm here to compete at that level It's like when you choose a blues song or whatever song To sing over You gotta get busy with the standard I think you did though I do too That's why I didn't. I don't know if you have to. I don't know if you have to. No, you play. You're playing at the Garden. Like, you need to have a good game at the Garden. You don't need to do what Willis Reed did or what Walt Brazier did or what Colby did. But you go into the Garden. You need to do you at the Garden. I think he did a great job of that. I'm with you. The second freestyle is not my favorite out of the pack. Buzz, first and the fourth. I don't remember all the names. But is that Bronx Zoo? Which one is it? Bronx Zoo is the first one. The first one. That's the best one by far. Yeah. Easy last one was fire to uh, what's that shit called 99 bill Yeah, me too I don't love that one What do you think of this one, Breeze? It was cool. I orbit the earth whenever I'm recording a verse. When I'm ready to drop, steady, gonna report on it first. Play my album for the cross and a hearse. It's so loud, the flow can make the rhythm more than some of the waters of the earth. You're just a reckless trying to disrespect the Lord of the church. You're disconnected from your source. I ain't gonna front, I need to bring my music show back I have way too much fun just playing music that I love I know that this is a podcast and we do have to talk at some point But boy am I having a blast I like the little change that they made the beat I like this. I took you to the movies you want to rap again. What'd you say Mark? You said the wrong thing. I thought you was gonna say when you hear this it made you want to start rapping again. Not at all. Not at all. Not at all. How the fuck do you hear this and not want to rap again? You know where I come from? Cause he raps. Do you know what he did to this beat? Yeah, J. Cole don't get me out of bed. No fuck, you know what Joe Button did to this beat? Yeah? Why would he need to rap? That's my point though. That's, that's, this is why things are cool. Now listen to this. New shit! New shit! Oh, what a time. Oh My god good time so so my problem Cole did Cole on On these pieces he wrapped well he wrapped well well he rapped exceptionally well Thank you I not dissing him for the rapping These beats caught for something else, though, because I know what happened to these beats. You picked these beats. You were just four in the garden. You were just four in the garden. You have to. If you take Whitney Houston, well, if you take Dolly Parton's song, and then you see what Whitney Houston did to it. What are you doing? No, I'm just giving you an example. And now you go sting over it, and you cover it again, Yeah. You got to bring your... Yeah. You're going to remember that. You know I hate that example, nigga. Dolly Parton, give me that slap. Nigga, you wasn't doing nothing. I know. You're giving it to the greatest singer of all time, RJ. And I said, now, if you go cover with Whitney. I is asking one of the current greats to take from niggas that went... I didn't ask him to take nothing from these niggas. I is just saying you just went behind Whitney, not you went behind Dolly. You went behind Whitney. So when you go behind Whitney, you got to go crazy. All right, no Dreamville tickets for you. You're done You thought you were going to sit on the grass And hear fucking J. Cole It's over for you man J. Cole great job Want to talk about the business of this Because I love the business of this as much as I love the music of this The website Which crash Pay what you want and then as soon as you buy it It pops up and says Buy the fall off for another $15 It's brilliant Absolutely brilliant And I'm very very curious to see What this fall off If he does it direct to consumer I think he might do all Like he might drop it all like it Yeah I mean it already is Clearly available for sale on the website I'm just wondering how that's going to play in with the actual drop date Or What would How would they compile all the numbers And the data Who gives a fuck Oh they They can report him But you don't get And be clear He's still going to do the numbers He's still going to do numbers He's not going to have time to report the numbers He won't have time He'll be too much ching chinging When it does go When it goes up on your DSPs It's still going to do numbers He's still going to have the number one album It's still going to do whatever And I'm going to make a shit ton of money because I'm going to do it over here too? Right. It's crazy. Win-win. Aw, J. Cole. I love you, man. I absolutely love it. Love it. Love it. And I love people just dropping some, like, heat. Like, two weeks or a week before the album. Word. That's old school shit. That's old school, man. Niggas used to drop the mix here. They used to go up to Flex and Freestyle or go somewhere. Like, that's old school shit. Yeah, but I'm going to do it on my shit. Yeah. That's what I love. I'm doing my own shit. I love the business. I'm right here. It's much more about the music. He bodied. He went crazy, but. Let me just clear this up. I'm not saying this is a bad project or nothing like that. I like the project. It's just I'm holding it to a super high standard. You give it a B, you sound like. Yeah. I'm not knocking. I hate this or nothing like that. It's just you can't. I mean, it's only four songs. I mean, for what he did in the four songs, I think it was great. Yeah, I think it's perfect. I think he created more of an appetite for the album. I agree. Which is all you want to do. No, nigga starving for the album. And the letter he put out saying how, yo, the album was this. and I went back and now I made it evolved into the double disc and all this other shit. Like, yeah, I want to hear the, the anticipation is even higher. And back in the day on some old school shit, when you dropped the project, like right before your real project and you were rapping at this, this type of clip, like a good way to let your fans know that that's the, that's where you and your pen are at currently. Yes. Or, well, other people did it the other way I'm rapping like this because the label not J. Cole but when that happened let me give y'all what I wanted to do because the label controlled this album and they got me doing this over here so I'm trying to please everybody yeah that happens I'm referring to this case because this sounds current so I don't think he did that but yeah that happens all the time good to know that this is where his pen is with a double disc coming that he's been working on for years that's called the fall off after he's mad at everybody. After everybody wrote him off. He says he works better when he's doubted. Niggas curse him out. They don't want to hear shit from him. He's just sitting back with his little whatever he's reading shit on. He's just reading shit while he's riding his city bike. Clang with his dress. He also launched a message board on some old school shit called Bill Central, which is like Cannabis Central for those of us that were on the Internet at the time. Really? Yes. Yeah. He's doing some brilliant fucking direct consumer marketing shit. marketing shit. The phone number shit they're doing, where they text you. Boy, that shit is amazing today. Word. Just think outside the box. Don't just rely on social media or rely on, all right, I'm going to go sit here, here, here, here, here. There's my promotion. Do something else. I love everything he's doing for this album. Not to tabloid this out, but there are other folks on the internet that say they hear Drake shots on here. I mean, the Lucian shit, I can kind of just see, I suppose. I wrote it. Give me what the Drake shots are. The only one I heard was the one he's saying, I wrote it dummy or some shit like that. Yeah, because I think the Lucian shot at the industry and at Lucian. I don't think that's a shot at Drake. Yeah, that's how I took it. That's a shoe fits one for me, like you said. Yeah, exactly. But when the other line comes four bars after that. Which is? We ain't said no lines yet. I'm going to get the list. Yeah, see, I think Lucian's a shot at the industry. And then he goes on Even to qualify it And say yeah I'm on Universal Distribution But the shit is mine Before anybody can say Oh nigga you up Under Universal too No it's different You know what I'm saying So I don't think It was a shot at Drake Maybe the shit about Writing his own shit Everybody's under Universal Like I mean not everybody Literally but I mean like It just feels like It's over the industry Yeah like y'all Y'all take this I don't think Drake Cole Would ever shoot at Drake I didn't think I don't think so I think yo dawg I apologize Because these two niggas with my friends. These niggas really don't like each other but I fuck with them. I don't want to be in the middle of that. So y'all have at it. I don't think he's beefing with Drake or Kendrick. I think that's why he bowed out the shit. Like these are my real friends. I don't think they're industry friends. I don't think he might even not be the nigga to carry industry friends like that but I fuck with both of them. This nigga's just a good North Carolina Jew. Just a good dude that ain't poisoned by the industry. That's what I see. I don't think he's dissing. It might just be a little jab at what's going on Or a generic jab Because I take Cole at his word And he said if I diss I'm going to let you know Give me the lines I'm still trying to find a line bro He already showed the kind of person he was With that walking back from that beef shit I think he's just a good dude But outside of him I'm just talking about when you go down To South Carolina or North Carolina Like I'm talking about like a 9th Wonder I'm talking about Them dudes are well read Perceptive Like forward thinking Them niggas Them North Carolina niggas You know North Carolina niggas? I'm saying in hip hop yeah Alright so the line we were talking about Do you know who 9th Wonder is? Yes of course Alright so some of the lines were on Golden Goose The one The Lushan line we spoke about For Crumbs dumb niggas sold They sold Illusion Universal distribution But I own the music and then right after that if I said it then I wrote it stupid do you think that's a Drake line I mean Drake is kind of beefing with them over shit that's what the lawsuit they ain't beefing over crumbs he ain't sold it sold for crumbs I'm just telling you it could be looked at as crumbs if Drake is saying this is worth X amount of billions and I only got this it could be crumbs I'm not saying it's a diss you ask me what the lines are that people are interpreting as a diss. I mean, it could be crumbs in comparison to what he has grossed for the label, but there's no world where him against the field is going to call $400 million. That's a cheesecake with $500 million. What the fuck is you talking about? $400 million that he recouped in a matter of years? That's one deal. That was only one deal. $400 million was only one deal. Let's not be silly for the sake of hip-hop here. What else? What else is there? Catchbodies for my own amusement. Niggas cheating and I won't excuse it. If I said it, then I wrote it, stupid. So there's another one. That's the other one. It's a lot of reaches. It's a lot of reaches. But again, back to when Cole was addressing the young boy rumors, and he was like, yo, if I diss somebody, I'm going to hit you direct like I'm on your caller ID. I'm going to take his word for that. That was a lie as soon as he said it. That was a lie as soon as he said it. Why you said that? Because he ain't. If I diss you, so I said, if I do it, I'm going to make sure you know. I ain't going to leave no gray area. Like Kenzie said, if I catch flight, it's going to be direct. They're saying that, not saying that I'm going to diss you, but in the event I do, it won't be no, yo, who's this about? Or is he dissing? No, you're going to know that I'm talking about him. That's why I say the symbol lines. Okay, MC Joe says that's a lie. Well, we can't prove it. Jermaine, I don't think he's above sending a sub. I don't think he's above it. A sub and a dissing, whatever. Whatever. I'm happy for the guy. I'm happy for the guy. Happy for Clue. Happy for fans. Happy for Clue. This was just a great moment. Way to go. Dropping right after we record the pod. Slow clap. I appreciate you. I'm mad as good. Really, thanks. We was leaving and that shit came through. I was in the pod. I was in the second pod. Yeah, I was home already. Oh, yeah. Yeah, rub that in. Way to go, Cole. I think by now, you dope rappers know our schedule. Some of y'all play ball with us, i.e. Kendrick. Some of y'all don't. Or maybe. Cole and Hobbs. Maybe the one shots at you. And me. And part of that is, I'm going to drop this shit right after you're done, niggas. Now, sit on it. I'm sure that Cole has seen a clip of this part and said, Joe be gossiping. I think that that happened. He didn't need a clip to see that. Yo, I'm not one of the niggas with you. If you diss me, I'm going to think about what you said. You may see something that I didn't see in myself You might be opening my mind up Hey, I see how that can look like that I have some validity there Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I got a point Yo, dog No gossip 30 mil with the gossip I'm sorry, Mr. Gossip Hey, girl Hey, man I mean Well, actually That's a big part of the fans beef They feel like what catapulted me to 30 mil wasn't gossip it was like genuine love for hip-hop calling out fake bullshit when i saw it and then when the money came that's when we got it was a gossipy it was a progression that's what the fans yeah that's what they're saying now so they want you can go back to that and then leave leave the money and just go back to that that's why you walked away from rap why you walked away from rap what do you mean why i was done i finished i know i finished Why you want rap? Because you said it takes you to a place you don't want to see. I'm sure you don't want to see them baggy tank tops no more. I'm living another part of my life. I'm living my life like it's golden. I remember the grass. The grass we just talked about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Diamond. But I got to tell you, if there was ever an era where it made sense, it would be in some of this shit that's going on. Oh, for sure. This is my time coming back. This is my type of shit going on out here. Hell yeah. Or the low. Like, I know the kids don't care about me, but when I'm in the shower, I get excited. Your brain gets to work. Yeah, I get excited. I get excited. I do, man. Mona, we going to need you an hour, too. I'm here. I know you're here. You're looking good. You're smelling good. I like your old J. Cole four-pack, five-pack. You know, I'm not a huge J. Cole fan, but I recognize he can rap, you know? Okay. That's it. It was kind of quiet. What year in hip hop did that qualifier start happening too? In 26, like, she would have been perfectly fine saying, I like that, J. Cole, four-pack. But she had to qualify it. No, I don't fuck with this nigga. That's old school shit. I just like ignorant music. I just like violent, ignorant music. He's not a violent, ignorant guy. He's that simple. I like talking about drugs and guns and shit in the music. You know what I mean? Like you know I want to be in the mirror Driving I'm selling a brick You know I would be so People shit I would be so let down If J. Cole was like A piece of shit Behind all this Peaceful protest image Like if he was in His group chat Just acting a fool That just Oh you know He's wild You know he's wild Group chat though Well I don't know I don't know I don't know Kobe gets Just like a wild boy For sure He might be a wild boy Like every time I happen to just Pop into the strip club which I haven't been to now, so please stop typecasting me. I'm doing really good and being disciplined and making changes for 2026. How many days have you been? And saving. It's been a... Yeah. What you do, like, A.A. or A.A. or something. My graduation ends in, like, 24 hours. I'm going to the fucking show. How many days have there been? For real? Yeah. What about you count in New Jersey? Saturday night. Midnight. Wait. Hold on. Four. Four. Yes, that counts. Three. Wait, it don't matter. Now, you can count and I'm still down. Like, I stepped out in Jersey at Frank's about a couple Fridays. Okay. But outside of that, I ain't been nowhere. We will call it 14. Why does the Jersey thing don't count? Like, what's the difference? You got to ask it? That's some Joe Button rules. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because Jersey is not a good time. So who? Oh. So you'd be ready. Got it. If you and Jersey is 20 minutes away, it's a very small place. It's not an all-star lineup of who's there. You're just going because you're stepping out for a second. To hear some music and get out of it. You're not staying there for a long time. Or the women of track. That's what I'm saying. A few of them. But you got to go across the bridge for some real shit. It's been a while for me. I'm doing pretty good. But anyway, let's not center me. We'll love when we stay up here. Why can't we center anybody? That's so crazy. I mean, we can center me. I just don't want to come off like I'm centering myself. I see. That's actually another problem I have to be centered more I forgot what we were talking about just now We were talking about music Before that strip club shit You were talking about music I think he can rap My cup of tea Oh, we were talking about J. Cole being a shithead That's not I don't think it's a shithead Oh, that's what I was saying Every time I go to the strip club My memory is getting bad I'm sorry I apologize, audience. You're watching me. You're watching the divine. The fall off. The fall off. You remember he's always been mad, bro. Yeah, but he can't play that on all of his kids. Yo, everything that's wrong with me, let's stop saying his cousin is that. That's how they do that. And I'm not on that. Bro, that's how they do that. And every time I even say what I'm on, they think it's an ad. So, anyway, every time I pop in a strip club and I see Neo, like, we give each other, I just seen him last time I was in there, whenever that was. We always give each other, like, a creep salute. Do you know what that is? Do you know what that is? Do you understand what I'm saying? You know. Again. You know how you consistently see somebody in the spot and you just they own what you own, you own what they own or it has potential to be and you know that. It's just being quick. I know. That's it. I would be so disappointed if I walked in and saw Cole somewhere and we had that. And we had that. It would be so let down. It ain't going to happen. Definitely not. I'm talking shit. I'm just talking about it. All right. All right. Everybody's lost. No word. Y'all got that nigga fucked up when it come to that. I'm sure he has. He's probably got a little Markleman Hill in it. I'm sure he partakes, but he just knows how to move. He's a good guy. He can tell. Where when you meet him in person, it's like, oh, shit, you're not the dude from the CNN show. You have fun. Oh, you see him throwing 10 grand. There we go. Onyx. There you go. Cole seemed like he would give you good advice on your marriage. Yeah, stuff like that. At the strip club. That's correct. Or he occurred you knocked his teeth on your wife. Like, bro, come home. Yeah, he seemed like the person I would call. Like, bro, come on. He's like, go home, bro. Don't fuck this up right now, bro. What about Denise? You see, huh? Don't fuck this up, man. You know what I mean? Like, come on, Denise at home, man. Exactly. I agree. Leave that home with Junior Just go home Yeah come on man You call your Uber and shit Send you home Dick hard You's about to fuck somebody You wasn't supposed to He's a real nigga Said one of those Word silences Just me She said that And I just went back To fucking somebody I wasn't supposed to That shit is It's overrated It's overrated That shit is not It's not fun It's not fun Just doing it With no love Yeah, 42 seconds of pleasure for what? Such a big mistake to me. Trying to teach this bitch your spot. She keep moving around. Bitch, how many times I got to fucking... She don't even know how to hit that button. Yeah, she don't know how to really get that engine going. You know what I mean? She don't know the motherfucking button. Now, if you meet a new chick and then she do know how to get it. I'm in trouble now. That's when you call your own words. Like, I want to say this now. Yes, I don't say shit. Anyway, listen, it's time for my favorite part of the show. Prize picks. Coming off all that great and fun J. Cole shit, Banks vs. Fab has been a topic recently because Uncle Murder and Tony Yayo went on The Breakfast Club where they were asked that question. And it looked like they had a nice 4v1 going against Tony Yayo in favor of Fab, but Yayo was so charismatic and just loud and boisterous. While he was arguing For Banks All I heard Was his voice over The OG on the big stage Like He could make anything Sound like war Is coming to him Fact Fact He was just having Like a barbershop debate And it sounded like Oh my god He's the perfect potter Like even just him Describing his meals You'd just be so intrigued Come over there I'm over there eating elk I'm over there eating elk You niggas eat your first toast I mean elk Yeah Whatever he's talking about I hear The drama Yeah, I just hear his voice over all that. But I thought Envy would rep a little more. That's my man. And this is Desert Storm Podcast at this point in time. I thought Envy would rep a little more for Fab. You let Tony Ayo do a lot of talking up there. You let Tony Ayo say a lot. I'll ask the distinguished panel here. Who is better, Fab or Banks? I don't expect us to spend a lot of time on this. I do like that with this and with the common Jadakiss one, it feels like when people throw these names together, there are people that I feel like aren't further than five spots apart from each other anyway. That's what makes it fun. So when you ask that, you're saying like overall or like mixtape, fab, and bass, or album. All-time great list. Who's higher? Oof. Damn. That's really tricky. That's fab for me. I would say fab. It's got to be fab. I roll with Banks, man. Banks hard, but he's not over. I think Banks got better. I'm using the same metric that I use with the common kiss debate. It's bad for me, and I know Banks. Remember what happened last time I picked somebody over him. But what's your favorite Banks album? Hunger for more. Hunger for more. I was going to say that. Hunger for more is better than ghetto fan list? For me. Yes. For me, too. I got to pull up the track list. I got to pull up the track list. Yeah, I think I think y'all might be off Like all them soul tapes I can't put Banks over Fab After all them soul tapes I think, again, Fab It's similar to the J.D. I think Fab has better bangers Yeah It's very similar Hunger from War That ain't no click Playboy Warrior On Fire I Get High I'm So Fly Work Magic If You So Gangster Warrior Part 2 Karma When The Chips Till The End Die One Day South Side Story Mm-hmm And I'm just going to read Ghetto Fabulous because that don't sound like it's better than Ghetto Fabulous to me. Click and spark. Hold on. No, no. Don't take the thunder from me now. Don't take the thunder from me. And I feel like Vince got the better voice. Click and spark. Keeping it gangster. Youngin. Get right. Ride for this. One day. Trade it all. Right now, later on. Take you home. Get smart. Can't deny it. My be easy. We don't give up. Yeah. I'm with ice. Yeah, Hunger for More. I'm not mad at anybody since Hunger for More. Hunger for More 2 is great, too. I'm not mad. All right, so you give a better album to Banks. Yeah. But Fab's got better features and singles and bangers. Yeah. I'm going with Fab. As much as I don't. I'm not. This is hard. I don't think it's the wrong answer, but I'm going with Fab by Hair. By Hair. Even though I agree with you on the albums. And that usually is my thing, but. I have Fab by a Hair 2. I have fab by a Mike Shuri feature. I have fab by a Little Moe studio stop by. That's crazy. Like, if he's not on a Little Moe record and don't have records with Little Moe, like, who else you got that fucking record? Or Samir. Or Samir. Or Samir, bro. I don't think it's a hair. But Banks, they wash each other out for me because Banks got all the fly girl records. He does. He does. And he got all the fly mixtape shit. He does. And he has all of the bars in the world. I get fab. I got to go with fab because I feel like he fucked more bitches than Banks. That is important. That's important to me. That's very important. It is important when you put a metal rapper in. No, when you. Because it goes to. I go to what Pac said, yo. If the girls are there, everything else will follow. If the girls buy your music. So girls vote for their songs. Right. I got to land this on who has more appeal. And because of Banks is who he is, he's going to lose that one. Banks wants to be home. Banks wants to be with his family. He wants to be out of the public. He don't want to talk to y'all. He don't want to tweet y'all. He don't want nothing to do with y'all. All he want to do is rap. And he's been like that. That's why 50 and these niggas can say what they want. J.A. O'Connor say you're not going to ever hear him say nothing. No, I. He don't care. Fab, on the other hand. Okay. Fab outside. But that don't mean that he ain't fucking. Just because y'all don't see me out. I think Fab wins the appeal slider. Fab can wrap. Definitely the appeal. Both of them can wrap. You can't deny. But Baines probably wins the touring argument. Because Fab never toured. Okay. Oh, Fab never toured. Fab never toured. and he's annoying. Does Banks tour? Does Banks primarily tour? Banks tours. Banks has tours. Banks tours now. He tours on his own. Yes, but I'm talking about he's toured before. I thought you meant big tour numbers. I'm just saying, Banks, Bab has not toured. Bab won't tour. I got you. You just say him touring, period. I got you. I got you. I got you. Which is one of the more interesting mysteries in hip-hop that nobody ever talks about. Like, I understood that him saying maybe I don't want to tour or do shows or go anywhere back in the day when, you know, It's lit. It's lit. It's lit. It's lit. I'm not trying to do all that. He left a lot of money on the table. I'm sure. And is leaving a lot of money on the table. And I wonder why. That's a good question. It can't be the whole, maybe Fat Joe wouldn't take an airplane. Right. No, it's not that. Because he'd be doing, you know, he did the Dre's run. He was one of the first ones to have a residency. He did the Dre's run. He does the Miami runs. Like, he, Fab does shows. But we're talking about a tour. That's such a good question. Because why? It can't be the travel thing. Let's phone him up. He does a lot of shows. Yeah, he does a lot of shows. He does a lot of shows. A lot of shows. There's something weird about that. Maybe, and this is pure speculation, it could be if I tour, it got to be, you know, some contract. If you tour, you take it short because you're doing this in bulk with Live Nation or whoever you're doing it where you're doing it in bulk. So you take it short in some cities. When you do one show for the people unfamiliar, you're getting your full fee, which is why a lot of people may do their own show versus a tour. But why the tour is important is because you need hard ticket history. You need you need for home, though. You can bring them out for home for your artists. You need a hard ticket history For For anybody That is in the business of doing business With you You have to show that In Chicago I do this In Detroit I do this And you need those numbers Of what you can do in hard tickets When you go there not just you do a show Where the promoter pays you The promoter promotes it I'm saying for like whom For like future business it doesn't seem like he's out here trying to do those things to where he has to have that resume you get what i'm saying you need a tour history to be able to do future well you don't you don't need it if you're never gonna do it that's like credit that's odd that's weird that is odd question is why then is why would you not want to make a whole bunch of money because you can make it but then i feel like you're going to show on some brown bag money shit yeah you get what i'm saying a tour might be some other logistics involved i gotta cut people in if i try to show you It could be that. Who knows? I don't know. I'm going fab by here. He's very close, but I'm going fab by here. Can I ask you all a Banks question? What is the most important Banks song to you? You know, like when we talk about Common Ejeticus, we might say this or that. We can name a couple of tracks. What's the biggest Banks song, the most important Banks song for you? There's too many. There's a few. Bima, Benz, and Bentley. Start it up. Karma. Start it up. Any girl. Any time. Oh, yeah, on five. The reason I asked that was because... That might be the one. That might be the one. That's the one. But when I started thinking about the biggest fab tracks, that was the thing that got me fab over Banks a little bit was for mainstream hip-hop, for radio, for all these other things, I feel like Banks' biggest ones might mean more to a wider range of people than Banks' biggest ones. That's why. This is not what I'm looking for. What's my record with him and Kerry Wilson? I got a brain freeze right now. What's my record? Yeah. That's my stupid. Yeah, see, this is tough to deal with. This is tough to deal with. I ain't going to lie. Lloyd Bates' girl record. It's a B-side issue. You ever heard this? That's why I think it's tough to deal with. Huh? Oh, no, this is tough to deal with. It is. This is a classic. This is a B-side classic. I'm telling you. Hey, excuse me, man. You must be some kind of a model Enough to make a stopper run out of the night I'm up to the middle of the middle of the middle of the night I don't want to be mono Guess what, I'm strong, I'm out of the bottle God bless you, he made me I can't even bless me when he named you I got a little game, too They know me that you are blue That's what fame do But will you keep it all on the road for today? I'll be right there, I'll be right there, we're jamming it I don't want to change to claim to I get things like you're my angel There's no ruin when it comes to this Write down your number, miss They call me bank, my government is brick Feel me in the purse, love me in the brick Four E strips, on the fucking page First place, six, and the bubble's in the fridge Hey girls, ladies, hey! All the bad things don't be good You ain't wrong Everything we look right now Now we're ready to rock Now we're ready to rock Now we're ready to rock Now we're ready to rock Now we're ready to rock Now we're ready to rock Oh, that's the one. That's a problem. Turn me up. Turn me up. What up, Lord? Uh-oh. What's the problem? Yeah. Oh, my God. Woo. I got a knife. I got a knife. Oh, oh. Like, like. I'm a bitch baby baller. Yeah. Got about nine, ten times. And all of them is here It don't matter Just before the night Is done I disappear So my new one Don't even not understand Meet me there Oh my god Yeah I got fab by here I know I just played Banks records This is very close That's where I landed Don't get stupid Mark I disagree with you I'm saying the exact Same thing you say I know But I'm saying it Acknowledging That That's what happened It could go different I said by hair Nick Yeah but don't say it like by our hair. Is that different? Let's not get crazy. I think you should have put it in the mirror. But let's not get crazy. Everybody relax for a minute. I got fans though. I got fans though. I got fans though. I got fans. I got fans. I got fans. Oh Stop playing with my man. Yo honestly, it's that is that right here. Oh, what else we got? What else we got? What else we got? I'm sorry. They see me get this excited part For me it ain't here It's a gap. You think they ain't wiped down. I don't think it's a hair either, Ish. Word up. I don't think it's a hair. I don't think it's far, but I don't think it's a hair. Lloyd Banks' rap ability is undeniable. Like, nobody can't say your thing. He's an upper echelon rapper, but when you start comparing the impact and all that other shit, it's not close. Agreed. Fab. Even with the clothes and shit, come on, stop. It's not close mainstream. I think when you get into hip-hop heads, underground, shit like that. I know. Y'all know Lloyd Banks' whole bunch of records, right? Yeah. Yes. Yes. That's why it's a hair for me, but I get what he's saying. If we're talking mainstream, there's no conversation to be had in terms of Banks versus FAD because of the success and popularity of G-Unit. A G-Unit. And that's what gets tricky. It's not a bad argument. We start talking about Solo versus... Whatever, it's fine. He's taking a group and comparing it to a man. It's unfair. He's in a group. He played a major partner group. So he's literally known as like the only MC. He's the best rapper in the group. So if that group goes on to do Switzerland and Africa and France and all of these places, then that means that you are you're if you're in the group, you know. All right. So that that's like saying Jermaine Jackson could be compared to. No, stop. Let's not be silly. Let's not. I would like to finish my sentence. I mean, you could take Jermaine Jackson and say, yo, he was a part of a group, the Jackson 5, that toured all around the world. And now you qualify in that versus another artist that was independently way better than Jermaine Jackson. But that's what we're saying is that's a false parallel because Lloyd Banks and Fab 1v1 is a fair matchup. the group dynamic is something that we're adding to express what Tony Yale was saying and to respond to your mainstream popularity point. Also, Jermaine Jackson wasn't the front man in the group at times. It's different bands. Lloyd Banks was the front man at G-Unit? At times, when he was rapping. It's a different thing in bands. Lloyd Banks was not for the front man at G-Unit. I'm talking about when you're watching this. He was featured when you're watching this show. You're saying something different. The rapper that was featured for the whole G-Unit run was Lloyd Banks. You cannot compare a rapper by far. And when you go to a G-Unit show, Banks gets his own show. You can't compare us all to a rapper. That's what I'm saying. Ice, didn't you go to a Banks show recently when you was just like, No, he did that shit on purpose. They're getting me off my other argument. Fab by him. I went to the Banks show because I said, You said that Jim Jones is going to wash up Banks, and Banks brought you out and said, this nigga said, Jim, gonna watch me. Now stand right here. Watch this. And he added, he added a number. He never said nothing like that. He added, he showed me, when he was in the back, he showed me a set list. He said, I added another 10, 10 or 12 records because of what you said. He was offended. If they did a verse, is who you think went? Like, if Thad performed better than you did. No, not Jadakiss versus Thad. Is DJ Booth, DJ and Fad? 20 songs? That's my question. If it's 10 songs, I got Banks. No. It's like such a super, because it's like the hip-hop heads, motherfuckers that still listening to shit like that today, and then the people that, you know, everything's in the young people. I just think it's a simple thing. Like, he can't beat Bad Men or Versus. Y'all have Banks, Lloyd Banks, in a Versus to 20 against Fabulous. Do you know why? because the verses ain't just the songs we've seen this quite a million times in fab i'm not talking about dj boo fab i'm just let's pretend that fab did a good job i can't pretend that because fab got the ox playing the fab yeah exactly if they bring their best material and they both bring their best performance because because like you just said fab don't get up there and be too cool for the performance that's going to hurt i'm just saying Fav's music I think Wins in a versus I don't know about that I think it's 11 to 9 He's a better performer But it's not like he has a huge amount of Yes There ain't no wrong answer here It absolutely is the wrong answer Fav is my top five favorite rapper ever So my answer is always going to be Fav Shout out to both of them Yeah shout out to both you niggas You're making me mad Y'all making me mad Same shit, different day Just ride through the city Looking pretty as usual I We get back to talk after this. I'm sorry. I gotta let this rock for a second though. It's the music podcast, or it used to be anyway. Hey! This is what we used to do with me before. Before that intellect nigga. Hey! Hey! That limit of me to Loka. The only nigga in the hood. You can come see. Free the weed of the color. Knocks to one of the TV and my team. Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Who the hell one of these who the fuck one of these Fab ain't to be fucked with man. I'm sorry and I might not even stop just take my events and make a small town in Cleveland Pop vibrate thing on my that boy band Listen as somebody that has wrapped with both of them it's the same migraine. Let me just tell you that. It's the same exact migraine. It might be worse. Well, you rap with both of you. You can speak to that. Because, like, when you did the record on Rage, Fab gonna rap, and now he gonna go sing some bars on there, too. Like, just make it even worse. Now he's singing, too, nigga? Yeah, but Lloyd Banks gonna send the track over with his verse on there, so you already know. Yo, dawg, this is how I'm coming. I just killed you. I don't need to hear your voice or nothing. Yeah This verse is gonna be like a little bit tricky Y'all just discounted records that exist Some of these are gonna be tough outs They are To me it's 11-9 Maybe Yeah, okay 11-9 I would've loved it It's close but it ain't in here It's a hair 11-9 It's a hair Don't get no closer Alright, come on What else we got in music? What else we got in music? I know Don Tolliver dropped. He did. I didn't listen to you. I got halfway. This shit sounds... That first three songs, I ran them back. And I don't usually do that because I'm trying to hurry up and listen to get in here. Yeah. But you ain't running back. I did run a right on the end. Oh, okay. I forgot. Got it. You ain't running back. Say word is born. You think you ran it back? Like the first three? All right, y'all. I believe him. Nope. No, go ahead, Freeze. I'm talking shit. No, I know. Let me see here What's that little body I think the name of it Is the second song Well I'm starting at the first one Because he bugged the fuck out Yeah he went crazy He bugged This is This is That shit came out He started the project like this By the way That's hard On the highway and I'm teaching that I love her On the highway and I'm teaching that I don't love her On the highway and I'm teaching that I love her Yeah, my next video is your discussion It's your name? I love that. It's like it's been radio silent. I would love to hear him and Cash Cobain do something. I'm holding him up. And I like, we're out, we're out. Sitting on fire. Say, black, black, black, black. Hey. The name of my jack. I can't remember that. I said, my body does. Too much like a learner. You ain't never mind. Why were you surprised you liked it? Ain't that your bag? I'm an Uzi fan, but I don't like that whole, even when my friends that rap do it, when they try to make the regular song into the dance song, I don't like that. Oh, I got you. I got you. Yeah. They put that, like, Wu-Tang, Jersey Beach shit on there. I don't like that, man. Wu-Tang? Yeah. Jersey Beach shit. Yo, at 45, 46 just casually lied like off the cuff like, oh, oh yeah, it's over there, San Diego. People lied. If you weren't when you got that salt and pepper shit, you could say whatever they're gonna believe you. You lied now. You got it. Yo, at this stage in that old man shit right now. For real. On some practice lies. I keep telling her, like, You just got to practice some lies on the... No, I keep telling it. Just try some shit just to see if you can still touch the rim. You know my favorite place to lie? It's like in a supermarket where you meet strangers. Like, I just make up this thing that I do. I just told a nigga I worked at Amazon yesterday. They had a great conversation about packing. Oh, that's fun. Lying about where you work. Yeah, I love that. What do y'all tell people when people ask y'all where y'all work? I always say Amazon. I look like I work at Amazon. I don't lie. I just have a teacher. Like keep it real basic doctor. He's a doctor. No, because that people want to have conversations with doctors They like I just think on my neck. I mean you got teach everybody's talking to you. I just write it. I can see that. Yeah Yeah, they would It's a shame line Everything is It's a lot of other ways It's a lot of other ways You are in construction That's not a lie Tell me what you do Yeah, I wasn't looking for a lie But if you were to lie, what would you say? I'm in construction I don't know, that's a good one I work in corporate Yo, if he told somebody I work in Wall Street Finance, I would slap the shit out of him. Why don't you bring back your fucking corporate subway line? I was about to say that. That's a good one. Are you still working finance downtown, Joe? I know, but if you told somebody that, like, you would want to come off like that? Do you know how that comes off? I don't. Powder. Oh, okay. It depends. Are you looking to have a conversation or not? That's important. Yeah. That's important. Because sometimes you might lie to someone about what you do just on some funny show. And they do the same shit? No, they might bite. Yeah, they might bite. You can say something interesting, like I'm a marine biologist or something. Oh, really? I've always wanted to know about that. Or if you don't want to talk, you say something like I manage data. They'll be like. And of course, that's the worst. When you lie and tell them that you work there, and then they take it, and they say me too, and now you're stuck. Can you believe they made us through all those hours on Christmas? I never had that one. That's why you can't say Amazon. You know what? I love you. I'm waiting today, Dan. You know how I fuck with you. It's a million reasons. You know that. A million and one. But one of them, if you're asking this, he makes sure that anything he talk about in his life that I don't know about, his math so good he predated right. I'm sitting here doing math. Everything he's saying. You know, I used to work downtown in Wall Street. I'm like, hold up, man. When did I meet this man? When did I meet this man? What year? What was the date? He pushed off. Your 20s was. You make your 20s sound like. And you better, too. So I worked right there at one where I met you have one liberty before I met you I worked there. I did you know that no he could really lie about all that shit That's the thing about the nigga that migrate to different cities from DC to New York He could tell me lie what dog this nigga life seems so fucking interesting Yo, when we talk because you know me and him had certain stuff in common and we talk about the street shit And then he talks like just randomly. I used to work downtown It's like nigga win like the way I've done my own calculations Ish was a drug lord in like 4th grade Like there had to be A 4th, 7th grade type of run The shortest drug lord ever too But he still was a drug lord I wasn't going to drug anything There you go Allegedly Come on now What else needs our attention What else is important Some Grammy news coming up One thing that got me excited As a Philadelphian was that Eve finally got her Grammy. Did y'all peep that? I didn't know. The Grammys finally awarded her Grammy for You Got Me. Yeah. You know, she was left off of that song. Oh, yes. Great. You left me a great song. We're making some noise for that. All right, Philly making noise again. He's so bad. Y'all caught one again. For those that don't know, Eve is the one doing the rap on You Got Me by the Rufus and Erykah Badu. She was a sort of unknown talent at the time, and there were some things that happened to me. Oh, shit, more Philly. I forgot this thing is so, Philly. He's doing crazy. He's doing crazy today, too. Yo, my man, family of the show, Zaire Franklin on his side. I forgot he was Philly, too. Yeah, we in here. But he should be silent today because he came here last time and then didn't win a game. He should be pretty quiet today. Hey, I got a mic there if you find your cojones again. You came here and popped it. Come on, have a seat. Look at my boy. And this is my man. I don't let niggas play with Zyane either. Y'all better not play with my boy out there. Look at Moe. Look at Moe. Yo. Hey, Zyane. Damn. That's the first time I heard it without a gravel. Listen, just doing it. I'm a gravel. She's trying to mini-riversing out this bitch. But no silly in the guilt. You know we tied in. We ain't got to play them games. I've been carrying the guilt with me, nigga. Like, I was a cop. I'm like, yo, my man named me and didn't win another. You can't talk about a turnaround of a season. I was bad. Bro, I was sad, bro. I ain't going to lie. I was the best. I was the best. I just broke up with the season. The season been broke up with me. That's pretty much how I go. I'm moving on. I'm back wearing jewelry. It's a good day. It's a good day. It's a good day. It's a good day. We got a game. We got a big game. Can you say it? I got Seattle respectfully. Yeah, I got Seattle respectfully. But, yeah, look, I'm at home, so it is what it is. I'm watching at the crib, big screen on. You got Seattle in a close one, or we're going to be getting popcorn at some point? It's definitely going to be a close game because, you know what I mean? New England is a good team. They got a good coach and all that. But Seattle got a lot going on on both sides, on both sides. They've been scoring. They've been playing defense. They're so aggressive. Yeah, yeah. And they got to get back for Sherman and all that. So they got to get back for all that. But I pulled up for a fight, to be honest with you. I can pull up to talk boxing today, respectfully. I'm going to the fight tomorrow. Oh, let's go. Let's go to the fight. Gervonta. You got to ask your team. You got to ask your team. Don't do that to big Jersey, bro. Don't do that. Gervonta from Jersey? No, no. The fight. The fight is tomorrow. Oh, yeah, that's the only sport I really watched. What, boxing? Yeah. That's a Philly sport. First of all, Philly really run this pod. Can we talk about that? Oh, my God. That's a Philly pod, man. Make some new influence out here. Good to see you, bro. If somebody and somebody and somebody and somebody and somebody and I get back-to-back, we ain't really put shit down in here. No bullshit. That's the thing. No bullshit, though. Everybody, step up my turn. Shut up. I'm alive. Just get out of y'all. Nah. Back-to-back. Me and I have a scary sight. Nah, no bullshit. Come on, bro. You know what the fuck's up, Martin? You just gonna leave mark off I Got somebody got put the bill money. That's the market is you got fight the case Philosopher he gonna get this right That's more than us. That's more than us. They're getting up crazy. It's good to see you. It's good to see you. I'm glad you're here. Shout out to Stevenson and the fight. Who's he fighting? Anybody good? Yeah, that's a good job, bro. That's MSG, too. That's a good job. T.O. Yeah, whatever. No, it's one of them. I have no idea. He's from your town, too. He's from the land. He's from nowhere, right? Yeah. Oh, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Here you go. He fighting. Oh, I got it. It's somebody tough from Jersey that fights. Shakur Shakur No Somebody else Nigga Shakur Who's the other one Shakur is the We know that I know that I know I'm not Oh you said Was he fighting Yeah Oh he fighting T.F.M.O. It's a good John though He's got the belts He's tough What's a good John You wear your jewelry to the fight Am I wearing my jewelry to the fight You know I want to But last time I pulled up to MSG He took that shit Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa That's a lot to say This is your first time seeing him with his linebacker neck First and foremost, let's just keep this Look, North Frily, not that far You got to make their way up here We got to get him Respect with him Shout out to the city But last time we pulled up to MSG I had my jury on Joe was like Him as a random person We walking in We could see him coming Damn, Joe, I'm with you What the fuck? So I had all my jury on I'm in that Joe's shining I'm thinking we about to pull up at the game Pop it Tuck it Now he made me nervous though. My driver didn't know where to park either. That was the problem. Yo driver was right there. Joe walked off right to the car. My driver was down the street. He had to get to the driver. Joe said, yo, you straight? He love you? He love you there? Nah, I mean, he was like, yo, you straight. Be clear, it took me and my driver at least eight years to synchronize that. Him being outside. His driver was the worst. He the homie, but... No, I'm on God. Is this the same driver that would stop and make you laugh? This is my... And Joe, could you please stop praising God and come the fuck on? That's crazy. No, it's my same driver. Well, I'm happy to see you. Yeah, good to see you. How y'all doing? Check in. I heard y'all cook today, too. Oh, yeah, on Fridays we cook. I don't want to tell the white business, but it's short ribs. I ain't going to lie. You don't give a loud shit up here. You seen the thing when you found out it was short ribs, son? I mean, come on. Pulled up to get busy. Okay, what else needs our attention? We got to get back to work at some point. So we were talking about the Grammys. Oh, yeah, the Grammys. Yeah, we shouted out Eve for that. But also, there's a tribute to D'Angelo coming up that we should be very excited about. I hope. Lauren Hill. D'Angelo and Roberta Flack, right? Yep. Okay. Yes, yes. It's an amateur bird flagging, which is why Lauryn Hill is the perfect person. What time is that story? They told her today. So it should be there. She should be there. She should be there. She should be there. She should be there. I'm in this office. I'll check. Yo, don't. Stop it. It's true. She showed up on time for whatever that was. Lauryn Hill will be late. Did y'all check the moon? That's true. That's true. That's true. Facts, bro. People like to check the moon, right? Legends. Like that. I love Lauryn Hill. Shout out to Lauryn Hill. Shout out to Lauryn Hill. Yeah. There was a little controversy about D'Angelo's son being invited. Did y'all see that? No, I did. He put a public statement out saying he's excited that the Grammys would be honoring D'Angelo, but wishes that he could have been invited, that he'd been sort of contacted to be in the audience. He has since been invited. I'm sure. The Grammys side of it, if I understand it correctly, is that he was invited. There's some communication gap. Not that he was not invited. I don't know the truth behind it, but I do know he will be in attendance. That's a beautiful thing. Lauryn Hill, I'm sure. He sings, right? Yeah. I wonder why they wouldn't let him sing, too. Or is that weird? If I was doing this thing, his dad shouldn't. How does everybody sing at the Grammys a lot? Oh. I mean, I've heard him sing. He's the child of, you know what I'm saying, Angie. When I ask questions, I don't want to hear no motherfucking chuckling. For real. No, that wasn't the question. That wasn't the question. It ain't about listening. What did our mom say? There's no such thing as a dumb question. I don't want you to fucking land. That wasn't the question. That wasn't what I'm laughing at. Okay. Yeah. Yeah This is the right question And then Corey was laughing How well does he sing? He's a singer He's a singer Nope That's He can sing Yo dog Yo dog Yo dog It's the Grammys dog It's the Grammys dog This night is reserved For world class He's a real hard And Lord Hildaday Alright so have him sing On your podcast It's supposed to be Diamond albums Bro Right La la la I wish I was I would feel like Imagine if J.B. Fox's daughter Oh my god Cut that out Cut that out I cannot believe That we allowed To do that It was only me and Freeze again I can't believe they let us hear The sax solo Of J.B. Fox's daughter I thought she was very talented I enjoyed it I know She was very talented Yeah Anyway But no Instead of Michael Doing the tribute Lauren Hill will And it's going to be Really great Obviously she covered Killing Me Softly So it makes sense And obviously she did What's the song Anything Nothing even matters With D'Angelo So it kind of fits anyway For sure But I think it's going to be Well produced It's going to be dope I'm expecting a good Grammy weekend Now you said they honoring They giving Eve Her credit for that song Yeah Does Jill Scott get a hint I just think something like She said she wrote that part. She got a great name as the writer. And even though she didn't get to obviously sing it, they got Erica to do it. Because Jill was unknown at the time. But Eve wasn't even credited on the record. When that album came out, Things Fall Apart. She's not even on the CD. That's crazy. Because of the video, people really just assumed that Erica was the rapper. That's amazing. They don't even sound this, man. Y'all was slow back in the day. Before Apple Music and all that kicked in. Y'all was just believing anything. Old niggas. We used to print out paperwork to find out how we had to go. It was called MacQuest. I did that before. I ain't that young. Yeah, that's cool. Los Angeles. Let's have a robbery-free weekend. Let's have a shootout and murder-free weekend. Let's have nobody get beat up, slapped on, or jumped on free weekend. And more importantly, let's have a nobody else gets arrested by ice in front of the actual Grammy. Like, there's a lot of room for catastrophe to take place this weekend. Awesome what the Grammys are doing. I think they're going to absolutely kill this broadcast for the reasons that Mark said, for the Brandy award that she's getting. It's just a good time to see musicians. I always feel like that after the Golden Globes and the Emmys anyway. Same. Like after I see All of the actors I'm ready to see Us getting our bag And So it's gonna be A really good weekend But please be careful Head on a swivel Swivel level 5 To be aware Orange Not one Not the slow swivel Fast swivel Watch your surroundings Be careful If you're checking in Be careful with that It's already bad enough With all the bullshit And the fake phony baloney Shit you gotta go through Don't get robbed too You know what I mean For real And y'all Pussy niggas Watch be careful of the phony check-in Why you rappers are so gullible Nah really To be aware is to be alive You have your own point baby You're checking in with a nigga That's about to light your matches You relying on the nigga to keep you safe You think you're good They're about to light your whole match book That shit goes deep You never checked in when you was a rapper You never checked in on Cali No I didn't live that lifestyle I didn't have to do that I stayed what TLC said the rivers and the lakes that you used to and when I went to the show I wasn't ever there was no point in my career well maybe the first two years when different things were going on that I wanted to have a million niggas around me even to this day when I see people do it it's not something that I think is attractive I understand it I understand it but I'm not that's just nah I'm That shit invites attention, man. It's not bullshit. Yeah. Yeah. And you got to pay the check all the time. No niggas don't have no money. Shit. Even if everybody got money, it's Grammy weekend. Everybody out here, the whole crew could have money. What door are you walking up to with you and all your people with money that's letting all 20 of y'all? There's only one person with the notoriety that we love. He can get two. Everybody out here is somebody. so all that picking up the phone making a call yeah nah that's when I learned the lesson when all them clubs was open on 27th street you used to go over there with 5, 6, 7 niggas thinking you're about to have a blast and this is when it wasn't him well he'll set you straight too but yeah nah Joe we got you the mother niggas suck a dick would you go in or would you leave with them uh depends that's great the rule of thumb That's crazy, that's crazy. That's crazy, y'all. That's a tough joint, bro. If you leave, if you pull up, all y'all hopped out the joint, y'all, you know what I'm saying? Flexing for everybody. We counting up. We got everybody over back. His Uber, we are back. Cool. Then you pull up to the door that year. We only taking three, and there's 15, y'all. And then you slide? You just beat, see y'all. Well, I'm going to just hit. You pull your man aside, the one that can corral everybody. Yo, look, bro. Check it out there. I'm going to just catch y'all in a week. Just take them in. I'm going to just beat y'all. The rule of thumb is y'all pull up together, y'all leave together. But I'd be lying to you if I said that there wasn't a time. That's the other thing about a group. You've got to love the whole group equally. A few of these niggas, you don't really care that they're kids. Why you don't really care? I didn't even care about them. Man, you ain't even. You ain't a man. Man, man. I'd be lying to you if I said it wasn't a few times where I turned around, looked seven niggas in the eye, and said, I'm going to go head on in. Try to find the right person to rap with. give me five minutes and then you go in the club and Goldfinger DJ and you go on the second floor every chick you've been looking for is up here grabbing your dick dance with me take my nose I'd be lying when you made that I'm talking about a specific run when all the clubs was on 27th street I'm talking about it used to get if it was a good night outside you forget all about them seven niggas but that only happened to me maybe two times. Normally, we go together, but after that, I'm never coming with y'all again. I think it was home, guest house, came, prom. Yeah, New York. Don't get us to reminisce about war stories up here. That's our favorite thing to do as we age. Be careful out there for Grammy weekend. I look forward to an amazing broadcast. Congratulations to all of the nominees. Everybody worked hard. This is the moment that a lot of y'all worked hard for, so salute, salute, salute, salute. What else? What else? What else? Anything else in music that is important because I want to talk about Steph Curry and them fans. That's the only thing on the board that's fucking my heat up. Single soul tells. Now, somebody explained to Mona and I did see some niggas online that are like, yo, I never knew that this was a thing. I want to know stuff. Don't y'all dare you. No, look, Mona, you got to understand, bro. These athletes, bro, they really be from all over the place. They really never grew up on these same principles. Like you'll be surprised how many of my teammates really then pull me to the side Yo Z like these the right these the right times and I really gotta be like nah Don't you understand all the butt naked you can't run with You gotta get the gum bottom You feel me? Butt naked You walk around with fucking no leather on it Yeah they butt naked You can't call them butt naked but on the joints it's not butt naked Nah for sure the wobo Yeah you know what I'm saying The juice booth The boneless You know what I'm saying The boneless team That's funny. They really not from there. So he really genuinely don't know. He's from North Carolina. They don't even buy Tim's down there. They don't wear boots. It's warm all year round. I can tell you about his haircut that he would wear a single. No disrespect. He got a butt-naked haircut. But even outside. No bet. He do. His haircut gives. I would wear a single-soul too. He got a butt-naked haircut. Real. Outside of the single soles. Did you just see how he laced his tennis? Yeah. Nasty. Like you were the greatest shooter on earth. I'm blaming that shit on Aisha Kirk. Why is he calling you? I can't let you do that. She ain't supposed to know. She ain't supposed to know, but she don't. It's really on Draymond, bro. It's got to be on somebody on your team got to let you know. like, yo, bro, look, this how you got to carry. Yeah, you can't just, you can't put that on her. She don't know you. I can put that on her. When I picture Steph Curry, greatest shooter in the world, Wardell, out at the club after a win or at the lounge, like at an away game, his team's all right when he walk in there, dog. That's fucking Wardell. But when he's back home, he's going, Throwing the old ball in the cage Yeah, let me tidy it up He looks like he wears Uggs usually My man looked crazy But he having a blast ever since his Sneaker contract ended So he doing what he want He doing what he want He wearing what he want He the man, man You make that much That boy that went viral for a butt naked God damn I feel like when you're the greatest in the world It's something though Like you should just be judged differently No You should be judged if you're wearing them Timbs Regardless Basic though I got it. I got a judge. You just basically off of that bro. Again, nobody in your world told They so much about your character So somebody explained to the audience They used to be like $99. They're not way cheaper. They're not way cheaper. That shit is right next to them. The similar went up, so everything is hard. Yeah, butters are $2.50. You got to get the gum bottoms. That's really what it come down to, bro. You know what I'm saying? You get the wheat, John. The thin sole and the shrimp top. That's how you sell it. You got to get the gum bottoms, bro. You know what I'm saying? I had a double sale. I had a leather at the top. Shut up. Nah, we should go. Beef and brocks, how you carrying them? I mean, I like... You can't even come in my neighborhood. Let me think I don't even think I ever seen them On the Timbaland site They don't even I don't know Man the wild shit is Cause it was complex sneakers That I saw posted They set them up Of course Duh They set them up Duh They served them right up The whole internet Been like As soon as I saw it I said yo just go to the quotes Go to the quotes Yeah that's fine They was going crazy son I've been to be at those before but unknowingly. Like, I went to buy the regular pair and then they put some other shit in the box and you don't know until you get home. I had it when I was like 14. I had it when I was young. Yeah, I know. You're going to make me snow boots. There's honesty coming out. It was like 94, though. It was like 94. Yeah. Yeah, I'm talking about back then. I'm definitely talking about back then. Steph, we love you, man. Get the real shit. Yeah, come on, man. Splurge. Splurge a little. 94? They still look new. I wonder if she's one time to school. I learned quick. What? Oh, he killed me Fucking butt naked The one time y'all wore some fake Did you have church rocks on? No back then I used to actually care about how it looked What was the one time y'all wore some fake stuff to school and didn't know until your homies or school let you know that that shit ain't thorough Some bullshit I ain't no fake shit I wore the terms that used to have pro on it the construction one Oh Yeah I wore them But I bought them You bought them at Sears I bought them at Sears my nigga I didn't know Like I did my first little sell candy I'm gonna buy my own boots. I'm like, damn, this ain't even expensive. And I was always grown. My mom was just talking about that last night. This girl was grown since 10. Where are my joints in school kids? And I went to school with all the kids from the project. They fucked me up. I ain't even make it in the school. They fucked me up in front where the bus is at. Yo, I ain't gonna hold you. Costco's just dropped the Kirkland Dunks. Oh, yeah, they hard. They hard. The Grey Joints. They hard. Nigga. Not buying them. Nah. No, no. They are hard. Put them in the cart. They are hard. Do I still have my Costco's car? I know I got it somewhere. Costco's always smell like hot dogs. All right. What else is important? What else is important? What else is important? What else? It's a sad update, but I think it's worth mentioning. Ray J has addressed the rumors that he is not well. Oh, has he? Yeah. And he's confirmed them. He says that he has months to live. I'm not doing this with Ray J. Is it? I ain't doing this with Ray J. Joey, don't believe it. It's not that. It's not that. I'm just going to tell you what he said. He said, I'm on eight different meds for heart issues. He said that he went to doctors who gave him the bad news that they're not sure how long he has to live, and they recommend he stay in bed and take his medication. He could be being dramatic because saying, I don't know how long you have to live, that could mean you could live to be 1,000, right? But he said he doesn't think he's going to make it to 2027. And he showed some pictures of him in the bed with all the stuff attached to his body. I'm just saying a lot of people assume that is bullshit because it's Ray J and he does things for attention What the fuck is the issue? People say something like that and they say the fucking issue He says it's hard. He said it's hard 25% of his heart He said he was drinking multiple bottles of alcohol and all types of Adderall's and all types of shit And powders Exactly I'm going to put that powder on anybody You put that powder on anybody No I don't It's already in the arena though If a motherfucker said I was drinking a bunch of liquor, eating Adderall, it's like, okay, you was eating Adderall. Congestive heart failure. That's what cocaine does to your heart, babe. That's what coke does. It beats it up. It does. It does, yeah. It has two other things. I don't know whether Rage has ever done cocaine or not. Yeah, my friend, I don't know. What is wrong with y'all? I've never been in a room where he was cocaine. Why are y'all trying to cause the don't call me right girl, Rage A beef? I'm not putting coke on him, but he give a little positive. I don't disrespect to him, bro. Go ahead. I don't know what he do, but he said the doctor told him not to drink or smoke. And he said that's very hard for him. But he's trying to stay on the straight and narrow. And that all this made him realize that he needs to change his way of living, including not being able to see his kids. And I think that's part of his depression right now. I think the whole ploy is to go get back home. That bitch think I'm dying, she might let me move back in for the last eight months. That's the whole point. I see you right. Good move. Oh, nigga. Young money My nigga, you walked into this motherfucker looking like an extra 40 pounds, yo Speed, he left the Colts and found life. Don't do that. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. Hey, you're looking good. All right, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine. Anyway. What are we saying now? We should wrap up. Oh, AJ. Praise up for AJ. Praise up for AJ. This is too serious of a matter for me to not believe him and say that. Right. I wouldn't want you to say that. It's too much on the line and at stake. I would pray that As much of a jokester And troll troll as Ray J is That it wouldn't be With this and like that I believe words can speak truth To power like there's power In them like you can Will some shit to existence And assuming That all of this is true I would like Ray J to have More faith in his higher Power right like The doctor is one thing, but the doctor is not God. That's a fact. I know way too many people, a lot of people that have been in this situation before. I've seen many outlive the doctor's projection of their life. My grandfather being one of those people, when they told him he had a year, he had four or five more. Then he went back and said, oh, no, he's good now. He had another seven, eight years after they gave him a year. I know some other people where they was only supposed to live for a year They're on year three And I've seen it go the other way Where the projection is spot on Dead right Normally you're going before the doctor even So your will to live is important in those moments It is I mean That's the whole thing I think Your will to live is really really really important So Ray J I love you I hope that this is untrue In the event that it is You know I just love you and appreciate you And all that you've done for us So shout out to Ray J let's see let's see so we're done with Steph Curry we're done with Ray J we did the Grammy weekend um now I won't go there just yet I do have a question for y'all I don't want to talk about Nicki Minaj thank you I'm not we're done however however if you had a Trump Amex Mm where the fuck would you be pulling it out at? Like if I had that shit, I would be scared to death to pull that motherfucker out with your face You know what they do really are Nah, you could get over a lot of places in that genre that'd get you Where the black man who has a black man has a different situation. I'm not talking about where is cool I'm talking about where I would feel cool Well, I mean I could join the line with a lot of the shit Like it's the motherfuckers That agree with some of that shit Or a lot of that shit They'll be proud as hell To pull that Trump card out Yo if we just putting faces On Amex cards Then I got a list of people I want on mine Starting with me What is someone Going to do with the deal with Amex No I'm just talking about me You want your own on me Yeah I want my own shit So let's bring back That level of vanity Listen I'm with you If you're able to put your own face Yeah absolutely Why I can't get one with my girl That's what really face Need to be on That's what's suspended Everything Anyway You guys Anything Anything Alright That's the end of that That was it You took it there Nope I'm looking at the truth Done Alright Fine Movement Can we talk about Don Lemon Yeah please Free Don Lemon Thank you Thank you Free Don Me and Mark had it You fucked us up I did Don Lemon Was In Los Angeles, preparing to cover the Grammys for the weekend when he was arrested by federal officials, the FBI was involved, according to sources, as well as the HSI, which is like the investigative branch of ICE. Apparently, he's been arrested along with four other people for his involved, his alleged involvement in a protest at a church a couple of weeks ago. Of course, Don wasn't, as I understand it, talking to him and watching it. And he was there as a journalist covering the protests. Right. But he's under Trump's thumb right now. He's in the crosshairs of the government. And so he was arrested last night, carried away. His lawyer issued a statement saying they're going to fight this. But right now, this is all hands on deck. This is a big charge. Disrupting some religious here, right? Yeah. The argument is that when the protesters protested inside of the church in ways of demonstrating inside of the church, that they trampled upon the First Amendment rights of the people in the church, their freedom to practice their religion. The reason they protested inside the church was because one of the pastors is the ICE agent and was collaborating to get people locked up. And so they were protesting the pastor in the church. There's debates about that. I don't necessarily love even tactically going into churches and protest. I just think we had to talk about this instead of the ICE shit. I don't love that and then packing a Grammy bag. He was just covering the He was just there as a journalist You said you can't be in both ways You can't be lit and be You can't be revolutionary and be turnt Mark, you know That's what I'm saying I spoke to his team Mark, you think you can go to the red car? I used to do that I went from Ferguson to VH1 Live Okay, but we're talking about today Today? I mean, I wouldn't risk it But I think And the thing is They tried to issue an arrest warrant for the people The judges overturned They said no, the federal judges said no Don Lemon went on The Hill and did an interview And said look, the judges have said no But I believe Trump wants me He's going to go around the law, behind the law He's going to ignore the judges He's going to find a way So Don Lemon was keenly aware that they were on him But he's still got to work And I think there's some value to going to the Grammys And getting arrested in LA at the Grammys I would have rather been on Monday morning or Sunday night But like You know but everybody's taught And it brings awareness to it Trump's had the flight log Oh yeah That shit crazy man They locked up another journalist For the same shit Georgia Fort But when they knocked on her door She was recording the shit Like they knocked on her door they had the warrant They arrested her she recorded mostly the whole shit They're also describing what happened to the church as a riot And it wasn't And an attack on the church, which is completely absurd. There was no riot. They weren't attacking people. They weren't even trying to stop people from praying or worshiping. Again, I don't love the idea of running into people's religious temples and doing stuff. I feel like you could put this outside the church and wait. Strategically, I just think it's a bad idea because it becomes a distraction. And a moral. Yeah. I feel like. But it's tough on the pastors giving people away. That's what I'm saying. I feel like that is an example of the stuff. when I say like it was taboo to ask who you voting for and you didn't cut your friends off of voting for that shit is different now if you a pastor and you preaching you know all this shit to God you cannot fucking sell niggas out to I you have yes we need to run down on you at your job bitch because you're not a real pastor apparently a real pastor would not work with ICE dare I say it so you can't go to the church just because you're about the ICE situation but you can storm the Capitol There's an argument that the capitals are public A public facility My capitals fucked it up Y'all was in there wowing the fuck out What I'm trying to understand is They took a shit Stole laptops Those people got their convictions overturned But Mark I'm trying to understand though How does you Interrupting the church Congregation or service End up being a federal crime That's what I'm saying Like, in my opinion, if it was something with the city or the state, if he had a warrant or something like that issued in Minnesota, that would make sense. How does that turn federal, though? Because of the civil rights. It's a civil rights violation because they have a civil right and a constitutional right to gather and to practice their religion. So they're picking and choosing which civil rights people have. Oh, for sure. And it's a lie because they didn't stop people from praying. But that's the part that shouldn't be a surprise. Like that's the Yes They're picking and choosing And how they frame One thing versus How they frame another thing Exactly We suspect to be In some type of A chain where Six people in a row The nurse that got shot Was a terrorist Right Like shit is nuts bro It's absolutely It's like when you In the funny mayor house In the In the park But didn't ICE just get defunded Didn't they just Took all the funding Or no Is that not true No ICE has not been defunded They were literally But they're talking about You know they have made Some adjustments But they're It's window dressing Like, they're still occupying Minnesota. With a big budget. Yeah, with a huge budget. And the attorney general, she tweeted out today the four people. By the way, all four of the people that were arrested were black. I don't think that's a coincidence either. So there's just a lot to pay attention to, but we can't be outraged enough at this. This is a big fucking deal. Don Lemon has been a thorn in Donald Trump's side since he was an anchor at CNN. So this is retribution. This isn't just about what happened in Minnesota. This is Donald Trump saying, I'm going to arrest my enemies. I'm going to lock up my enemies. I'm going to harass my enemies. I'm going to intimidate journalists. I'm going to make all journalists the enemy of the state. I mean, this is McCarthy-era stuff. This is like the 1950s, 40s, 50s assault on free speech, privacy, academic freedom, journalistic freedom. This is as bad as it gets. This is really bad. The president is a gangster. Like a mobster. That's how he's moving. They just put before Congress a bid, and it's a Democratic senator. I forgot her name. But she made a tweak and said, yo, I'm going to sign it as long as we're saying that Americans can't be deported. And when the official bill came through, the tweak was missing. So they're trying to set it up to where you're going to get this thing. You out of here. Get no ass out of here, my nigga. They want to be able to revoke, especially in that wildest. Yes. This is wild. This is a big fucking deal. Yeah, it is. I think Don Lemon's going to be okay. I think he's going to come home soon if he's not home. As of the time we recorded this, he was done. Free Don, man. Free Don. Free Don. Free Don. Don did a bid before, though, right? They locked Don up with some other shit and he was cool. Remember? I think they did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Donna G. Don's going to be good, man. Free Don. And, I mean, protest, but carefully. Be aware. Y'all got to be on point. They are shooting motherfuckers. You got to go to that process. It's not the process that you bring your kids to. It's not the process that you come just so you can vlog and shit. It's the process where you fucking grease your face up, bitch. Oh, man, what a great weekend vibe, man, for this part. Man, I'm feeling so sunny and bright and just, oh, so Jason Tatum told me to tell you guys. Stole out of the shoes, brother. First of all, I need everybody sizes. Jason Tatum loved his screaming his eyes at the camera pause. He also said, Mark, you have to relax and barks. He said, knock it off. He is not A&Ring LMA's project. That's what it was announced. And y'all should shut up. We responded to the news. He didn't say shut up. He said, I love y'all, and I might, but you're not. Good. Okay. We're all happy. My bad, JT. We love you, man. Unless you play the Sixers. Six. Word. Are you taking selfies? I did You look good Thank you What else? What else? What else? What else? What else? Just making sure here We did Fat Banks I don't feel comfortable doing Kevin Gates right now After the Don Lemon segment Can I ask you a question, Joe? No Sure You wrote something on the board Me? It was written on the board Is it weird when folks won't date in the city they live in? Because they're a whole problem Oh, shit That's good It's not weird It's not weird I think it's weird When people have rules In general about dating What do you mean? The city living is tough though Not always Like having parameters For who, what, where Why you're gonna date Is just I would never I would never date A woman from Philadelphia In my whole life I knew that from the beginning I would never in my life Ever date a woman from Philadelphia Why? Respectfully though Why? Because they fucking crazy And they really could fight I don't wanna deal with that Oh that's okay Like they are really crazy But I would never date A woman from Philly I knew that from a kid I always knew My wife was not in Philly I knew that But see that ain't about The city you live Because you just knew You ain't fuck with Philly with me You could have been from Delaware I was going to the NFL I made this decision It's great I didn't know where I was going I knew from a kid I was never going to date Somebody from Philadelphia And I stood on that I think that's common Anytime women talk And you talk to the bitch From Houston Oh girl don't fuck With these niggas down here Like people do that They go out of town You know they say they date They don't look at everything See, but listen, I know that people do that. I'm more so talking about how do those people believe that it's received? No, my, my. Like, when you hear somebody say, yo, I don't date in my city. Like, what do they think that says? I ask why. So, one of my people's, um. Hey, Ish Peoples. No, one of my people, she from D.C. And she was explaining, she said, yo, like, the social circle that you running in, all of the girls in your circle done fucked with the it boys in the town. Like if you're in a little small town, like if you're in Newark, everybody in Newark knows everybody in Newark. It's not a small town, bro. It's not a small town, by the way. Newark. Yes, it is. No, it isn't. It's like a half million people there. Every city in New Jersey is small town. Newark is small, bro. So if you wanted the it boys in Newark, you know the other niggas. If you're a chick in the town, you know the niggas that's playing in the town. You got to remember that it speaks from like a privilege. I don't think Newark is small either. No, it's the biggest city in New Jersey. It's the most popular city in New Jersey. It's the most popular. It's insane. It's a small town. It's a small town. It's the most popular. It's the most popular. It's the most popular. Just because it's the most popular. It's not a small place. When we hear a small town, we should never think Newark is all. Right. Three small towns is like Darby. Like one of them little towns. Yeah, like one of those. You know, we go. But I'm talking more so about places like Newark. I don't agree with small town stuff, but that's where I'm like talking about. It's like, yo, dog, if you... 300,000 people. It's 300,000 people. If you're in a certain town and you have a certain demo, then you know everybody in that demo. So you know the girls in that demo. Your man used to fuck with such and such. Yo, she used to fuck with this nigga, that nigga, this nigga. And so it's an uncomfortable thing to date in your town. It's not uncommon. It's not really uncommon. And you're saying not if you was hoeing. You're saying just regular. If you was hoeing, that just makes it even worse. Because your niggas are going to be whores, too. So you know You know what I mean That your niggas That ran through You know Bro y'all trying to stay here And leave me on an island Nah I'm talking If you in Newark If you in Newark You say 300,000 people Alright then let's really Dwindle that down To your dating pool Y'all all playing The same clubs Y'all going to the same spots After you mess with One or two people Bro y'all all Really mixing and mingling At that point Or 10 or 20 Even before that situation You might not want to deal With that type of situation When you go out You might just want to have a good time and not be tied down. You might be seeing how the women or how the men moving in the situation. Every time somebody, you know, everybody, you know, typically like to get into it or cause type of drama, you might not want to deal with that. You know what I'm saying? You typically might want to date outside the town. To me, that's not crazy at all. I mean, let's take a decide on that in junior high school. Sure. If a woman in my dating days told me she don't date dudes in Philly, I would think there's another story to it that I'm not hearing. Sure. I would ask why. No. I would think there's a story. Y'all straight think whore. Not necessarily. Whore That's what I thought Whore isn't necessarily where I go It could be that she got a dude in this town I would think there's something shady going on It could be that you fucked everybody But it could also just be that you got something going on And you don't want people to know So you always try to go out of town It could be that you fucked everybody I know you ain't fuck nobody You ain't fuck nobody Mona's a long time lover She don't be outside like that But I'm saying They don't believe nothing You know what's going on My friend in real life I swear to God I did But if a dude says that I definitely think Because he won't hit a lot Or he's married or he got some situation Married people tend to date out of town So you don't get caught That's what I hear What? What? What? That's how I know I'm a side bitch, Nicky's taking me to Cherry Hill. Yo, you say, you say. He's right about that. He's not right. I found out I'm a side bitch. Mark is speaking from privilege because Mark travels the world. The average married man can't go out of town at their leisure to get some pussy. Cat, I knew I'm a side bitch because Nicky's always taking me on dates. We always went on dates to Cherry Hill. Exactly. Because it's bitches from the Badlands. Yeah, if you're in the hood, Cherry Hill might as well be. You want a nigga to take you to the Badlands? Hold on, you want to take you to the Badlands? It's not about that, not here. It's about that. We talk about North Philly. We talk about North Philly. For sure. So before we go downtown to a restaurant or what, up the boulevard of Cheney restaurants or whatever, I'm going to take you to Sherry Hill because I don't want nobody to see me here with you and then my fucking Puerto Rico baby mom from the Badlands find out. You can still hear me. That's hard, though. It's hard enough. You got it, bro. I'm with you, Ish. I ain't going to go on. Of course you're doing that shit. I'm with you. I don't think there's nothing wrong with it. Everybody got different dating boundaries. I feel like if one of your boundaries is I don't want to date nobody from the town I'm from or where I live, I don't think that's preposterous. Unless you do live in a major-ass city like Houston or something like that. I agree with you. I don't think there's nothing wrong with saying that. But if you tell me that, I'm going to think you've been slinging that pussy up and down Jackson Avenue for the last eight 18 years Or as a man you just want to start on a fresh sleep as a man I think you a bitch if you say that I Don't date girls from here, but that was awesome like you I'm assuming your aunt's shit was probably a little crazy. My sister and my mom and my aunt, I looked at all of them one day and said, you know what, I don't know if the woman for me is here. That's how I felt in Jersey City, especially when they said everybody had herpes out there. I was like, you know what, I'm going to go. I'm going to go. We can't but eight miles long. How'd everybody get their herpes? Easy. Oh, my God. Did y'all hear about the real estate tycoon guy that is accused of offering an indecent proposal to a realtor mom while enjoying an affair? That's crazy. What? That's a lot. That's crazy. Michael accused Poleg of destroying his marriage through the incessant attempts to poach Paige. Paige confirmed her divorce in a statement. My marriage ended for personal reasons, and the claims made in this lawsuit do not reflect the reality of those circumstances. I'm confident the legal process... We don't give a fuck about that. Michael claimed that he and Paige never even considered divorcing until Poleg began to chase his wife. Poleg is the boss, I think. Okay. The complaint divulges a specific deal that Poleg allegedly offered Page in January 25, a glamorous $1.5 million home in Park City, Utah, and a promise to take care of her needs if she left Michael in the dust. Poleg left his wife around the same time. Page filed for divorce in February 25, says the lawsuit. I know I'm certain that we have a lot of thoughts on this one. Yo, you suing the dude? He ruined his marriage. He didn't ruin your marriage. He didn't ruin a thing. Well, according to him, him and his wife never had anything that could lead to a divorce until this offer was made from her boss. But your wife could have said no to the offer. Hey, Joe, if you always ate cube steak and then magically somebody put a porterhouse in front of you, you might not want to eat cube steak no more. Or I might want the cube steak, but that's for a steak conversation. I'm just giving you an example. Like, dog, he ain't take you from your girl, nigga. This other man might have showed your girl some other options in the world that you had. Oh, stop it. Please stop this. Please stop this. Please stop, bro. if your wife worked at some type of bank or something say she was an intern or something or a secretary at Ernst & Young and then one of the big bosses came and said I'll give you three M's to lead it again and she left you would be I'm suing this man you're tripping y'all started y'all started with this I got M's myself so that's different but it's a little different but if I was in his situation yeah I probably need some bread I need some bread. You already took my, I need some bread from that. You tricked me. I'm going to get some, and you're going to win. You destroyed the marriage. It's legal. You ain't moving the world. It's like, this ain't not you. This ain't not you. I don't feel like, they moved it all the way over. How you figure that? Yo, dog, we started with, yo, dog, you were in a relationship. He said, yo, we didn't have any issues until X. Right. And I said, yo, but that's because your wife was stuck over here and didn't know that this big magical world existed until she started working over there with homeboys. alimony or something in that situation no because she's not necessarily there she's not necessarily earning that money she's just spending his money so you gotta you gotta get alimony based off of her salary not based off of the money that she's so y'all let me ask you a question with that being said right your wife is drop dead gorgeous beautiful right so now she goes in a room where the vultures are right she goes in a room where the sharks are one of the sharks now bags your wife that dude ruins your relationship is another fucking false parallel that is not what his example is can y'all explain to me how the dude how did the dude ruin a relationship though because he's financially you're acting up too i'm not acting anything no we just hold up we just have ability to disagree with y'all stance on the topic we didn't give a stance we just saying what happened and y'all acting like y'all don't get it so so i'll try this again your wife working to bank up the street like he said, and her boss made an offer. That's it. What are y'all trying to mumble your wife? And your wife has the ability to say no, I'll pass. I'm with Isha. Yes. What the fuck is we talking about? Your wife has the ability to say no, I don't want your three million dollars. I don't want to fuck you. And in the event that she doesn't say that, then he didn't ruin her. She's fired. She's fired. It could be financial abuse. What the fuck are we talking about? If your employer saying I'll pay you to leave your husband. Yeah. Oh, it's a job issue. And if she says yes, now what? She fucking chose. We're back, everybody again. We're back, we're back, we're back. Relax, relax, relax. Mark, you wanted to say something to Ish. I agree with what you said. I want to diss that couch as a whole. Go ahead. I don't. There's a workplace issue. I think we can all agree employers going to employees and saying I want you to fuck me for money or whatever do anything for money is a problem but in terms of my relationship I think the only thing that's confusing is because it's money what if she came to him and just had a bigger dick what if he was more handsome what if he was just taller funnier whatever the thing is there's always a reason to entice somebody to go into another relationship and if your partner that is different from papering something I'm with you but I'm saying the difference I'm saying the difference for me the money makes it a professional problem too i'm saying at any given moment i hold my partner responsible for the choice they make correct not the other person that's all i'm saying so in so so you along with the newer couch is saying if ever in that scenario you're not suing the guy no okay and that's what y'all are saying to you i don't even see how you can sue the guy no that's a real legally i don't see how you're married you have grounds yeah you do and i know For a fact, in North Carolina, because it went viral, in North Carolina, there's some type of law where you can sue the adulterer, the person that's cheating with your spouse. As far as, like, the claim is to dissolve the marriage. Like, you coming to try to fuck my husband is the reason why we broke up. And I watched them go through court. I watched every, you know what I mean? Like, they really vlogged the whole thing. Because I was shocked. That's a real thing. How many people do a take-the-puff? I'm just saying, in North Carolina, it's wrong. I'm just saying it's a law in North Carolina. In North Carolina, you can sue the motherfucker that was fucking your wife. You can. And if you can prove... Y'all be too tough on that couch. Yeah, you are. But if you can prove... What we doing is... Y'all just be saying whatever on that couch. Standing on principles. What are you? Yeah. Mona's making a point, though. Let's let her finish. Please, Mona. Take the point. Ball it up. Fucking throw it out. Yo, what we... Let Mona talk. God damn it. Please, I don't want to talk. Please let Mona talk. I forgot what I was going to say. You said they take the 10. North Carolina, North Carolina, North Carolina. Right. I get what you're saying. It does take two to tango. I totally get what y'all are saying. It does take two. But in the state of North Carolina, for a bona fide fact, if you can especially prove that this person tried to talk to your mate, that's like the kickoff, the grounds for the scoop. So with the case I watched, there were two couples that hung together, right? So they were double dating and all that. And they were able to prove that in some of the videos she slide her ass on them, just little shit, texting them, flirting them. And that was enough to start when they really, like, they did the whole thing, took the phones, got all the shit off the phones, even shit they deleted, stripped it. And I think the amount of money was like a million or two million. But you know why. My problem with y'all is y'all get married to like a real basic point, right? Yes, it's your wife's job to choose. I agree with y'all. There's no beer. If she chooses, it's on her, and yada, yada, yada. Cool. Got that. However, if somebody come and offer my chick a mansion and $10 million to do something, and she in turn does it, well, yeah, I also have a problem with the guy. Someone's getting sued. I have a problem with the guy. I got a problem with him? Yes, she does. But I have an issue with that. Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. We're going to play. This is a big piece that we're leaving out. my man offered her x y and z the husband is saying he bribed her the wife said yo me filing for a divorce had nothing to do with that so does she have a i'm saying the matter she publicly said no my husband is wrong that's not why we got a divorce well now she has to prove that that's why somebody has to go to court yes that's the exact reason that we have to go to court because now it looks like my wife is on the side of the poacher. So now I want to argue with both of y'all. And of course she's going to say that she's leaving her marriage to go to a new relationship. She don't want to go to this new relationship and also cost him $5 million. That's a fact. On top of the promises and stuff that she still got to make sure that he followed through with. So, and for real, of course she's going to stay on that and stand on that side because she really just secured her bag. Mind you, she is so happy that this nigga rescued her from a life of poverty. Go ahead, girl. Yeah, I ain't going to hold you. I ain't going with you. Yeah. That's tough. But you got to pick your chick. You got to know the same time she's going to do. Checkers and not chess. Well, up here, I keep saying that most of the infidelity happens in the workplace. So, I mean, you're saying, no, you're a chick. But. Yeah. That's why I don't know. Which means. No. I ain't got to worry about it. Until you speaking, it might not have nothing to do with money. Yo, you spending all this time with this man. He might be way more charming. You then your dude he might be way funnier than your dude He might have a whole bunch of attributes that you do don't have and now they're magnified when I'm spending eight nine ten hours with this Fly nigga I love to finish speaking we say we gonna let niggas speak okay, but we didn't mean I know We're gonna go home now to this corny ass nigga when I'm sitting in the office every day with this funny dope nigga It's this one. I agree with you to what if you want to add the paper now? That's what I'm saying. If your dick was that big and your money was that deep and your swag was that high and you had those girls just off the cross, then what the fuck is you papering? We were talking about her. I said her. She is accepting the two niggas, not the rich niggas. His girl is choosing up. The problem is the papering of the dick. She didn't choose up if some shit is paper. So, Joe, would you feel different if it wasn't paper if it was just a bigger dick? Yes. That's a whole different thing. That would be different. What is it about? Why? What is it about money? I Don't understand shit What's the difference for you with money bro? Is somebody if you saying that man got a package or you saying that bro's funny or a charming people lose their wives in a relationship Every day like that. That's cool. You put a dollar amount on her making a decision Is a whole different thing if you make this decision This is what you have this made it right after that that happens Sorry I don't think it did I Think it's a legal issue if it was a court if it was he would have never had to add the house He would never have to add the guarantee built-in Obviously first of all if you know you take it for my girl or something like that and you got more picked That's already a part of the sauce. You already telling us, damn, this nigga got you in here working every night. You can work overtime again. And the funny, oh, wait. You was going to woo-woo. And the funny guy, that's already the thing. I don't know if I said it. Well, I might have said it. But the boss is already married. Oh, well, that's guaranteed. The boss is already married. That's guaranteed. Oh, wait, I did read it because he left and they left in it. Yeah. Yeah, dog. Yeah, dog. Can I ask all the questions, especially y'all, too? Now, shoe on the foot. You're in a relationship. Y'all happy or whatever. Your female boss Comes and offers you All that motherfucking money And all that other shit Y'all taking it? Have we had spirited conversations For a few weeks? Fuck yeah Ten million dollars I might make a difference No Am I taking the money? We probably try to run a play I ain't gonna hold you Yeah I mean come on bro Like I like that Yeah I don't know Cool I'm gonna do this And then Yeah That's a great answer Niggas be wanting chicks To have all the discipline in the world while temptation, but you want her to work at the spot where her boss is saying, yo, actually, if he was all that, then he wouldn't put the, uh, leave, uh, leave him stipulation on it. Yo, if you keep fucking with me, you get a house and I pay your rent and I do it. It's the papering of leave your husband. And then you're doing it. Treat women like material, material possessions. I want to own you. So yeah, I want you over here. So leave him. So you're mine. It ain't even about the money. It ain't about none of that shit. I want to own out your piece of property to me. So I'm getting rid of that one. I want you. It's a gift. Don't niggas up there. That's how you look at it. Did you see? I feel what you're saying. Did you see Indecent Proposal? I did. Was Woody Harrelson, like, in a great mood after that? Joe. Like, was Woody Harrelson feeling great? Yeah, first of all, that ain't going to work out. What the fuck are we talking about here? Over three million. Woody Harrelson wanted to kill Robert Redford. What was the nigga that he had? I didn't say niggas would be okay with it. You act like you don't understand niggas You act like niggas is over here saying, yo, we'll be fine with it No, niggas are definitely going to be upset I'm just not understanding how you get to Spooing this nigga over it Alright, alright Alright, alright Moving forward, right? Moving forward, Mark Glees I'm done with you and a newer couch I'm done with you, nigga We done with you, you know, he's out of the conversation Fuck that, we talking I ain't middle name, it's true That's how I know he's just up here We're not talking to you, Mark If you did sue How much would the Lausier lady be worth Bro What First of all A lot But all I'm saying No no I want a number Hold up This is what I'm saying Hold up Think about the other side though You just paid Shorty Four M's He did I'm reading I'm reading the real details But Shorty We just did count on the woman She said dog I was done with this nigga Before any of that stuff Never happened He says that They never brought up Divorce anything else like that What else you gonna say I'm a whore bro Or he might not have known Alright Listen Think what you want On the matter I love these guys No matter how much I disagree with them Like So That's why they keep Disagreeing with me Because the love is boundless What's your excuse? Huh? Huh? Excuse what? Disagreeing Why I keep loving y'all No why you keep Disagreeing with me Why I keep Fucking boneheads That's why I'm not agreeing With what y'all say Anyway Time for a monologue Time for a monologue Yes I stole that From the community Fuck y'all What you gonna do about it So Time for a monologue A monologue is where Mona iso's For however long she wants About whatever she wants Uninterrupted That's right We all got to push our mics back Yeah, everybody push your mic back It's a monologue It's a monologue First of all, that's not true People at home This is a long-winded heifer, y'all It's a monologue I am very long-winded No, I just thought this was interesting And I feel like on all my years of internet I never heard nobody take this take and he is absolutely right. I'm somebody that talk a lot about like in our culture black people like we we put people on pedestals by their titles. So your grandmama is automatically the matriarch your brother's your brother regardless if your brother fucks your girlfriends and your grandma smoke crack. Right? So I'm somebody that told people a thousand billion times that you should judge your relationships off how they treat you versus what the masters say how you supposed to treat people because you already know I don't fuck with my grandma. Fuck my grandma. At all. What? Nigga? Anyway, listen though and tell me I want to know what y'all think And I'm going to tell you what I think too, but listen. I don't know this nigga's name, but I like him. Why is it no sound works? What do you play this? You know why it's no sound? Because I already had it queued up the way I wanted to do it. And Mr. Fucking Button said, all you have to do is stay there. Like I was fucking slow. I'd rather do it like this. My kids ain't fucking up about nothing. I'm at work right now, busting my ass so I can give this shit to my kids. You feel like you ain't got to do nothing for your kids. You feel like your kids should earn it. I was that kid. My mama didn't do shit she said she was going to do for me because she said I had to earn it. My mama told me, go to school and get good grades and I'll buy you a new pair of shoes. When I go to school, they talk about me and talk about my clothes and talk about me. So I punch them niggas in their mouth. And then now I'm fucked up. I get suspended from school. I can't get good grades. So get where? My mama don't buy me shit. It's a repeating cycle. Mama, you never wanted me to heaven. You know I can't go do good right now with these niggas talking to my ill. You know what I mean? But what I did with my son was, if I told you I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it. That's a fact. So what I needed you to do is, I told my son, I'm going to keep my part. I bought my son a new car. I bought my son a $70,000 Jeep, and he didn't even deserve it. Gave my son. I'm going to keep my part. I put his Jeep inside my garage and said, now you got to earn it. My son went to school and did everything. he fucking supposed to do because he's but the jeep actually exists and i feel like i've seen that before and it's crazy just as a parent like i'm almost like mad at myself i ain't ran that play yet like that was lit but it's trifling when you think about it you know what i mean thoughts i don't like the little smirk you're making ish you first i ain't first why i want to hear what the room got i don't know what you think oh you motherfuckers i don't need no motherfucking hell what i think is i think for the most part no you're not gonna do that y'all not gonna do that what y'all not gonna oh monologue and i'm the only one to say i say something i want everybody to fucking chime in yeah i want to respond to what you think nigga i just told you what i thought you heard me then i didn't understand i apologize i misunderstood what i said was is that i really feel like as a parent myself because i think rule number one the parenting is lying to them children i'm almost disappointed in myself that i haven't ran that play on some of my kids that are a little bad you know what I mean oh oh I see if you act up at school you don't get dinner look how much I could have saved them motherfuckers are bad at the end of the day it's all a fucking skin that's what he's saying where parents is holding this shit over your head because they really can't afford it they don't want to do it or they want to wait out of it they know you a fuck up so they say oh you can't get it if you don't do that when you wasn't doing that last year yeah I agree with you I agree with you I think I think it's bad I think it's uh a bad way to parent I think you should be giving your kids, what do you call it? Not roadblocks. My son's. Like incentives along the way. Yeah. So that you can actually, like, put them in a position to be successful. Saying, like, if you don't, like, my son gets on my nerves, like, sometimes with the whining, right? But if I say, like, if you don't whine for 48 hours, I'll buy you a truck. I know we can't do that shit. I win every time. And sometimes I do do that, you know, on some shit I really don't want to do. If you can stay quiet for an hour. But he's three. He can't stay quiet for an hour. I'm setting them up to not be successful. I think when it comes to important shit, we can't do that. I think that I think that's a bad way to parent Because they also have a sense of failure all the time Yeah, that's the thing that stuck out to me like I remember what it felt like cuz I had trouble in school the whole way I remember what it felt like to go to school and try to do better and I had no fucking clue how to do it And it was just irritating people be giving me speeches And I did not know how to sit down to pay attention to do my work I didn't know how yeah all I knew I'd do was fuck up. That's what I always did in school So it's like, I just think it's bullshit. And it's like that lazy parent and shit. It's like that black culture. Like, do as I say, not as I do shit. You know what I mean? That vibe. Because that's how some of us grew up where it's like, your parents did whatever. And they just told you some bullshit. Watching you do all this fuck shit, but then you're telling you don't do it. Yes. Homeboy said he follows through, though. He said that the promises that he makes, he fulfills them. So if you do X, Y, and Z, and I have a record of fulfilling that promise, then am I really setting you up to fail? If you say yo you bring me home 3As I'm going to get you A Playstation You bring home 3As I'm going to get you a Playstation If you bring me home do XYZ I'm going to get you the limited edition Jordans And I fulfill my promise You kind of got to give people Incentives to get accomplished If it's attainable If it's attainable Let me say this I don't necessarily agree with You know what I'm saying And I was a badass kid in school But I don't necessarily agree with Just rewarding behavior regardless I agree with him I don't think you should just get things Just because you get things Because that's not life That's not teaching you a real life lesson I think a part of that And I ain't You feel me I don't know Main man But a part of that You gotta take responsibility for yourself Just cause people talking to you Greasy And I get it I've been there And I'm from there But that don't mean You gotta go upside the head all the time A part of you Growing and being a better student Was you learning how to ignore that shit and just focus on your grades. So you got to take some responsibility there. But I do agree with what Mark's saying is you do need to set a sentence for your kids, whether that's the three A's. We all know our kids. You know your nephews and all that. I got fans dang in three A's. You know what I'm saying? So you got to adjust that. You feel me? All right. Go ahead and get this B. You know what I'm saying? Go ahead and get this B. For little man, they might be getting this B. For little shorty, she's sharp. So no, I need two A's from you. Him, I just need this B. You get this B. Come on, we going to the park. We going woo-woo. So then you got to adjust it as it come along. I do think, you know, there's probably some deeper stuff with his mom not following up, not having his back with certain things. That's probably where all that come through. But at the same time, I'm not with just rewarding kids. I tell myself all the time, I'm rich. You ain't got nothing. You tripping. You got to earn it. But when I hear that, that's not what I hear. The first thing I hear is the fact that, like, you're peeping at your mom. She's full of shit. It's like, my sneaks are fucked up. Everybody know how cruel kids is. And you really expect me to go in here? Especially when my problem already was that I would fight a nigga. So why wouldn't you send him to school with the straight-up equipment? Because even when he got to the comments, he went to the comments, oh, I didn't know school was a fashion show. Bitch, did you attend it? Because that's the thing. If you win, you know how mean a motherfucker is. And you know how important it is to dress. I know motherfuckers that even go to school with uniforms. That's what they did in Philadelphia. They made everybody wear uniforms. Neil was all about you. It's about the truth. It's like on the area you live in. You live in an urban area. You know them kids wearing design and all that. I'm not saying, like, you have to keep up. But like be realistic If you want this nigga To really be able to survive this shit Yeah I don't want my kid in school Hiding his fucking feet Cause it's like Nah I'm not teaching you A lesson like that bro Right If I wear it you wear it That's just what I'm on Like that I've always been on that with mine Like me ain't doing that The only thing I would say In defense of that mom is Potentially Cause I don't know her In closing In closing is I don't know her situation Sometimes When you don't have Like sometimes The parent can't afford some shit And they make it seem like It's a choice Sometimes when you don't have something You make it look like it's a choice Like you know I didn't get you sneaks because you're bad as shit as opposed to I didn't get your shit because I don't have it, because I'm on drugs, because I'm on all this other shit. When I'm knowing that situation, I don't want to overjudge that parent. But in general, I think just as parents, we should follow through on our word. That's all. I just want, we can wrap it up. No, I'm. In closing. Yeah, I think that we are, a lot of times parents might not have that money. Like a lot of us come from single parent households. so if you are going to school and everybody knows they kid and I know you could do better but you're not doing better so we don't got to say 3 A's we can say bring me home 3 V's and you just not applying yourself and you not being assertive dog that single mother might have struggled and picked up extra shifts for them sneakers so I'm not going to buy you extra sneakers when you not giving it your all in school just so you don't get picked on my nigga this is a marriage right here you got to help me I'm going to help you and I think that that entitlement comes from You doing whatever the fuck you want to do And you still getting the fly shit I think it's a fine line between How we handle that situation Yeah I just want to say in closing I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry Boy oh boy man No listen Nothing I love more than a monologue Make some more hey It's a monologue Even in the monologue Long winded But that was great That was great Great topic That was a good one. Seriously. They say that the toughest number of kids to have, no matter if you have more than this number or less than this number, is... Anybody want to guess? Two. Three. I'm so curious. One. One, two, but three. I can see why it would be two. I'll say four. I'll say one. In the context of this conversation, you did. You're going to play it. I'll play it. I'll play it. I'll play it. What is the hardest number of kids for a family to have? One here, a not-so-fun fact. There's been a recent survey done. It's found that mums of three kids experience the highest amount of stress compared with those with fewer or more children. Three is the case. The why is really interesting. Yay me, because that's where we've come and stopped. All right, why is having three kids the hardest? Well, one, because with three kids, you often have not experienced the help yet that a well-trained older kid can give to a larger family. And two, it's quite a bit harder to create a team culture in a family of three versus four, five or more. So this reminds me of that famous saying, you find yourself in hell, don't stop, keep going. In other words, look, three kids is a huge blessing to a family. But if you think you can stretch it to four, five or six, it's usually well worth it to keep going. Wow. I knew I should keep fucking. I totally understand that. It just seemed like the wrong thing to tell somebody in this economy. Yeah But it's Listen Yes How do you say that though? Because kids ain't cheap It's expensive Well top of the fact The world's collapsing So it's like Why bring them into This evil ass place anyway Yeah that's facts I do agree though It's just from a From a dynamic From a family dynamic standpoint though Like once you have When you got one kid It's alright both of y'all Somebody got a kid Somebody don't You got two It's man to man Then they always say You get three That's zone They outnumber you Once you get the three You honestly might as well Just keep going If you could financially afford it. If you got the space and the money to do it, you might as well keep going. That's how I see it. I've always felt that way. Even with my teammates, once you have three, they already outnumber you. You might as well have as many as y'all really want at that point, but to me, two is that line. Once you go over two, my two scared me out of a third. My third scared me out of a third. If I have a third, it won't be a fourth. My mother said her one scared her out of the second. I got snipped six months after one. Yo, that's crazy. I can't believe that. That's crazy ice, bro. It's not crazy, but I'm saying it's crazy. With a girl, too. That's a crazy boy. I was young. What? No boys. You said you got bonus boys now. Bro. I was young. I was young. I'm just such a... Oh, they're going to rob you. I had to have me. Bro, I'm happy. Bonus boys. I'm going to rob you. The boys are going to be good. What? My son's just hanging out at the ATM. We're good. Thanks, thanks, thanks. All for sports, because I know, well, I'll speak for myself. I don't really pay attention to all that college hoop shit. However, tonight is the exception. The 31st, BYU versus Kansas, AJ versus Darren Peterson. If you're familiar with these names, this is one of those ones. This is like who used to be? Glenn Robinson versus fucking. Fafo. Yeah, like this is one of those. The projected number one and number two pick. Peterson is no joke out there. He looks, he just looks like a pro. There's no other way to explain it. He looks like a pro playing amongst children. And AJ is AJ. So if you're into that, tonight is going to be a really big matchup. Shout out to both of those organizations, those programs. What else? What else? What else do we need? What else do we need? Silver is back down again. Silver is down what? What did they go down? 15%. So? Yeah. That's what you're going to do. So, yeah. That's when you go buy. Buy the dip. What do you think of me saying? Buy the dip. I'm buying the dip. They ain't going to fool me. You need silver for the cars. You need silver for the phones. You need silver for all of this shit. And as long as the country looks like there will be instability, silver will continue to climb. And I don't know about y'all, but this looks like one of the most unstable countries I've ever seen. And we got three more years of it. Why would I not? Buy the dip. There you go. Stop trying to run from it, though. Huh? Stop trying to run from it. Run from what? You mentioned some bullshit that we wrote on the board that we was ready to jump you over, especially being from Jersey. I'm listening. Oh, yeah. Nah. I missed it. I missed it. What are you doing? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a sexy red question. Oh, why would I be trying to run from that? I think that's a very valid question. I got a few hip-hop questions that I wrote down. That's a very valid question. Sure. Well, go ahead and present your question to the panel. What's the short ribs? You're going to finish five before they start cooking? No. They just always be late with the food. They already started cooking. They started, right? What time that food is going to be done? That made an hour and a half. Yeah. That made a 90-day. Yeah. That food is going to be done soon. No, he told me 3.30 hours ago. You guys, we're doing one of the best shows in the world. Y'all talking about eating. Eat breakfast. You're starting to eat before you're going to work. Jesus. Anyway, my question was, do y'all think Sexy Red's run can now be looked at as similar to Fetty Wap's run? No. Absolutely not. And I think when they hear that question, they just go to the size of the hits and how many hits. That matters. That's part of the fucking run. Sexy Red didn't have major hits. Yeah, but Sexy Red had a bunch of hits. None on the level of Fetty Wap. But all I'm saying is Sexy Red had one year of four and five big records that performed well, and it just disappeared. That's more so what I'm talking about. I'm not saying Sexy Red records versus Fetty Wally. Oh, okay. The way you worded it. I'm just talking about their run in terms of dropping a lot of singles that have a lot of success and then kind of disappearing. I don't know what happened. Kanye album is coming. I only bring it up because he is Gamma. Sexy Red is Gamma. So it looks like Gamma is going to be on a Kanye run. I expect them to ignore the fuck out of Sexy Red. And quite frankly, I just don't see Sexy Red having another year like that where she smacks them out of the park. I don't see it. I bet he went to jail though, right? Is that why he disappeared? No, no, no. So that's all I'm saying. Do y'all think Miss Sexy Red will be able to repeat that same success that she had in that year? I think it's tricky. I think it's possible. I don't see it at all. I think it's tricky because I think that her ascension partially is due to the culture that I was talking about earlier where you get a bunch of people to do the work that one artist did at one point in time, the labels. And I think there's been a lot of people in that kind of lane. And I think Fetty was unique and by himself. And he also had fucking Three or four top ten Billboard records And he did all that shit before the label He did that shit They had all that shit done When the label stepped in The music He had that album He made that album in the crib Alright so nobody here thinks The Sexy Red is about to come back with Anything like what we've heard The style Her style I think is not interesting to hip-hop anymore. Great segue to my next question. Do you think that same thing is true for Young Thug? No. Are y'all crazy? Prove a commodity right there. He's art. I don't want to try y'all artists, but he's an artist. You feel me? He got way more different lanes. He changed clothes. He changed sounds. He's been ahead of the wave so many times. It's hard to think that he won't at least be able to catch up and set another trend at some point, even in a different mode. You don't feel like post-jail with what we all think about Thug and what y'all are saying about him, that there should have been something to make some noise by now? Well, that's because he got caught up in a bunch of other different circumstances. You know what I mean? I think with Thug, it's kind of you get caught up in like today's hip hop. Now it's like social media and public perception plays such a huge role on how people, you know, carry and receive your music. Like, it's so hard for, like, you know, people to be thinking and feeling a certain way about you and the music not to be around. And I also think a major part of it is Atlanta linking back up. So Atlanta, he'd have hated that. So Atlanta linking back up. That's what happened. And one other part, real quick, the music ain't been good. Wait, who? For real? Thug. Now, he had a couple choices. I went terrible. For Thug. Yeah, because that's the thing. You've been putting out what we know Thug to put out. You assume somebody sits in jail and they work on their craft and they come out and they kill. Gunna went through that situation, came home and fucked it up over and over and over. So I feel like the Thug fans, it's been a little bit of a letdown, but I look at it like he just got to get back comfortable. I feel like what he went through was traumatic. You could see it on his face even when he did that interview. That's the most I've ever seen of his personality when he talked to the guy, the Darcy guy. He's banked. Yeah, banked. Like, he really went through some shit. You know what I mean? So I feel like once he get comfortable back in the right zone, I had faith that he'll make great music, but the music hasn't been great. I would have liked to see him going to run like Gunnar did because Gunnar really literally fucked it up. His shit was not trash. It wasn't trash, but it wasn't Thug. To your point about perception and everything, when Gunnar came home, his perception was in the toilet. Motherfuckers was not fucked. They couldn't wait for that outfit for his shit to be trash. The music was so good on that project that you couldn't escape it. But I would argue like, okay, Thug, I wouldn't say his best. He got a lot of great albums in my personal opinion, But his last really great one was so much fun That was literally just him Getting a bunch of his homies to come to the studio They doing a bunch of fly, popping shit He literally, I think I just seen like maybe a month ago Literally just got his jewelry back Just got his cars back Just got some of his cash back They literally took so much from him To like Simone a point That was traumatic You feel me? So like yeah, it's hard for him Probably don't even feel like making slaps, right? They got all them calls The personal fucking phone calls And I'm talking about, as I mean the worst call you would ever want somebody to hear, everybody heard all 10 of them. You know what I mean? He gossiping, he pillow talking, and y'all court that. And if you've never been to jail, you don't understand how gossipy a nigga get on that jail phone. He's fucking bored. There's nothing to do. You know what I mean? So to be looked at like he was looked at, that's a lot. So I don't know. I hear y'all. A whole lot of please and a whole lot of case. Whatever. A whole lot of please and a whole lot of case. Give me another case. I've been saying for a while, I think that, well, it's not for the public to understand, but I think that people underestimate the role that Thug's label and backing had to do with what was going on. I don't know if Thug is able to do what Gunna did, which is come out, be alone, and hit every pitch over the fence. Like, I think Thug is going to catch one because he's great and artistic and he's got all the friends. He's going to be all the features. At some point, you're going to get the hottest producer with the hottest beat and you're going to do it. But do I feel like that should have happened between the time that he got out of jail and now? Yes. Absolutely. Do I think that there's a reason that that has not happened? Yes. And I don't just think it's, oh, man, he proposed. Oh, he caught up. Nah, nigga, that shit ain't slapping. Shit ain't slapping. Like, I know you niggas love that nigga. That's it. I love it, too. You think he can get back there? Or no? You don't think he can? Yeah. In combination with the label. Yeah, it's an elixir. It's the whole Yeah the pieces Gotta go Go together You know what you're missing? Cause he's He's on probation now Can't do drugs Yep Damn Gotta do it There's also Gotta do it y'all He didn't talk about There's also shelf life On artists In terms of like Peak financial Number of success And that's okay But it's still From the From the You're right But from the Artistic standpoint Of me still being able To put out good music that my fans enjoy, is there a shelf life on that? No. Because the metrics and all that shit, yeah, but you just putting out projects from an artistic standpoint, I think that if you took, sent Joe in the house for six months and he wanted to be a rapper again, I think he'll start to, his pen will come back. Yes. You know what I'm saying? So, Doug sat down for a long time. Hey, what did you say? Don't talk about my pen in your stories no more. His pen will come back. I'll get you a compliment, nigga. And that wasn't a compliment. I don't like your compliment. You had a training wheels on for a minute. Don't compliment me. Yeah, that's what he said. Don't have a word. Take my pen out of your story. It didn't take you about six months. I know. Six months. Tell your story without my pen. You said six months. Six months. You said six months. I don't want to get your pen back right. I'm a compliment. I'm a compliment. I'm a compliment. That's right. But, yeah, artistically and creatively, I don't know if you've ever hit a ceiling. That's true. No, I don't think so. I don't think so, though. Man, my name's Pete Parks. You got to fly. They fly us. Petty. Stop playing with Parks, man. My man got the dip in butter. That's what I mean. This is Young Thug that came out yesterday, the EDM record. If you got time to do an EDM record, you got time to give us a slap. Young Thug, right again, this record is called USB. I mean, no, I'm lying. This record is called Scared. Scared. Scared. How could young thug not have a slap? The ingredient might be missing. You know you're going to come on, kill him. Hey. Only women working for me And you hate that shit Someone's bothered and say honey I like that shit I was waiting for you I was waiting for you I was waiting for you He's gonna get you I was waiting for you He's gonna be able all his homies They all gonna get back They all about to link up We see it happening in front of our eyes They all about to link back up bro They all need each other When they all link back up That's how Atlanta stays strong for so long Because they always with each other crutches Them niggas all need each other I'm glad they're linking back up. Right. So once they get back together, no matter how much hate y'all want to throw on it, when they get back together, it's going to be what it is. And you're going to throw Drake in a little bit of that. Of course. He's going to be a part of it. Yeah, because none of them niggas be mad at Drake for too long and go stand on their own. I'm not saying. Here you go. What? The fact is bad. Young thug ain't going to come out and fucking ever say nothing against Drake, and we know what it is. We know what it is. Ain't nothing wrong with stating a fact. Anywho. Anywho. Anywho. That little EDM shit was all right. That shit's not bad. I didn't play it for it to be good. I tried it. I was ready. I tried it. I tried to move on. I was about to kill it. The Thug album last year was not bad. It was not great, but it was not bad. It wasn't better than his album that he put out when he was in jail. That was all his best laughs just in the Tucky. That jail album? His choice on that jail album. I think they're both the same. It was really the ninja song that threw everybody off. He pretty much called us all the N-word for a minute and a half. That made me uncomfortable. The first three songs were horrible. But then once you got past that, I was like, oh, there's some shit in here. All right, man. Shout out to the old Atlanta. The Isley Brothers.
