There is nothing like the strength of a woman. I mean, really you can't even define how strong they are because every time a situation arises, every time there's danger, every time there's tremendous uncertainty, they have the emotional intelligence, the mental stamina and the internal power to rise to the next level. That's why they have the power to give birth. That's why they have the power to teach, the power to heal. There is nothing more priceless than seeing the strength of a woman. Major recording artist, entrepreneur, Jamite Taiz, she is the epitome of what it is to be a soul survivor. She is that and then some. She has been through dark corridors in life. She has traveled through the maze of uncertainty, doubt, fear, hopelessness and found the right channels to go down, the right exit ramps when it was time. She understands a purpose. She's walking in that. And this house of hits studio interview. This weekend, Miami is special. I'm so honored to be interviewing her. I'm so honored for y'all to hear her story because she really truly is a beacon of ultra beam light. Jamite Taiz, House of Hits, Miami Dorian, Vinny Surge, radio pushes, let's get it. People we alive on set right now, House of Hits, Extender version, we on Miami Beach, we on South Beach tonight. It's out of a beautiful 4,000 square foot mansion. You know, when I had the vision of working with artists, my whole vision was to empower them, to make sure they had the educational resources that they need to go to the next level. I wanted them to understand results in Ohio, but I also wanted them to understand the power of a message and their vision, how to protect it, how to monetize it, how to grow it. For five and a half years, we've done that. House of Hits, Hype Fresh Magazine, the beauty of working with artists, unknown artists, they, to start them is seeing them evolve and grow. Like Tupac, the rose that grew from concrete. I've been knowing this young, this young impris now for about a year, over a year, a little over a year. And when I first met her through Carisha de Diva, she came over and she was like, so much in, yo Jay, she always called me Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay. She'll never call me all John. I said, she always called me Jay. And, but she was so receptive. She was such a sponge. I love her passion. She's like a lioness that takes care of their young. I'm honored. Jamee Taiz is such a special person in music because her story, her pain, her struggle comes all within the lyrics. I'm honored, super honored to be interviewing Jamee Taiz. How are you? I'm doing well. How are you? Doing good, doing good. I'm gonna jump right into it. You have, you know that song, So Survived by A.C.E.M. and GZ. You know, I was thinking about that when I woke up this morning, I got to interview her. So I was reading over the articles I've written about you you know, everything, the cosmetic lines, everything you've been doing. I said, she's a soul survivor. Cause you know what you, I went back and let's start interviewing we did on the Bettering Yourself podcast. And what you told me, how have the things you survive helped you to be who you are? Definitely prayer. I pray. I pray a lot. Especially when I'm not just when I'm going through just period. Prayer helps mental health. You know, like if you're not praying, it's hard to stay motivated. It's hard to continue to do right first of all, if you don't stay in prayer. So that's one of the things I do. I also write down my feelings. My feelings, writing down my feelings helped me to be able to still let it out, even though I'm not actually talking to someone. But writing it down, I still feel like I'm getting it out of me. If that makes sense. Absolutely makes sense. Let me ask you this. As you started to progress in your life and when you broke from those chains of despair and hurt and you started to find your freedom, right? You started to find your freedom. You started to find your path. What did you learn about yourself at that moment? I learned exactly what you just said. I'm a sociable. For real, I definitely learned that about myself. So it's really kind of ironic that you say that because I have thought about that about myself. You know, one of the things I love about you is that there's no quit. Right. Everything you say, you said, J, like even when you was coming down here, I got all these problems and that, I was like, I said, don't worry about it. It's gonna be fine. We gonna be good. But you always say, J, you're right. I'm not gonna stop. Ever since you've been with us, Radio Pushers, you've tripled your following, your comments. You got Summer Walker, everybody watching your stories, commenting. How do you feel about your career now versus two years ago? I definitely have more compassion with it, first of all. I definitely take my time. I'm not in a rush anymore. I used to be in a rush. I feel like in the beginning, I wanted everything to happen so fast. But everything takes time. It takes motivation. You have to have self-discipline because first of all, sometimes I can go all out doing too much. But I find myself being very content with where I'm at, but that doesn't mean I have to stop. I definitely have to keep going because you know what, it just don't stop here. When you look in the mirror, nobody around, no makeup, no hair, just you and your beautiful self. What do you see? I see a strong black woman. And just don't, I like that. Besides that, what else do you see? Cause I'm gonna take, you mind if I tell you what I see? Sure. I see someone that's hyper-focused on building something great. I wanna talk about your legacy. What do you see for yourself? As far as what do you wanna build? What is the empire? What did you mean, Tai-Yi's empire look like? You know, at first I was just in tune with my music, but after I started doing more content and finding more about myself, I feel like I could be anything. I could be an actress. I could be a model. I could see you in general hospital. I could model, cause I love to see you. In a racial relationship. Turn up, controlling. For sure. I could see myself doing many other things than music. And you really put that in my head, because for a long time, you know, we all thought that doing music was the only thing that you need, like putting songs out. Like now I'm not in the rush to put out a song. I'm more on, I need to build momentum is the word that you use. Yeah, you have. And I still do that. It's not what you built. When you think about music, you think about your company. I always tell you, get your business plan, get your LLC, write up your taxes, all that stuff. Right. Get more prepared. How do you feel about wearing that CEO hat now? I'm serious. So we're doing this interview. You got so many beautiful articles written about you. You're gonna be featuring a hype fresh. You're gonna be featured in stupid dope. You're gonna be featured in LA Weekly. You're gonna be featured in cloud news. You got artists in media. You got a PR team now, radio pushes. You got an Instagram growth team. You got everything rolling now. Are you sure that you're willing to risk it all? Is all or nothing for you? Are you still leaning on? It's definitely all or nothing for me. Definitely, it's not even a question anymore. It's definitely not. I'm in it to win it. What's one thing about you that makes you feel so secure about your future? Self-motivation. I have a lot of confidence in myself. I'm not insecure. I don't worry about what nobody else is doing. I just do me. And I think doing you and not worried about how far somebody else has gone or how they're lacking. Just doing you can really help. What have you enjoyed the most about working radio pushes so far? OMG, radio pushes is, I talk about radio pushes every day of my life. Y'all changed my life just from talking with me, being very direct, open-hearted, taking your time is patience. Because a lot of people tell you that they gonna do stuff. And I was there with y'all before where I wanted it, but I didn't have the funds. And I would just be like, but can't nobody just give you stuff. You have to work for it. And I was definitely willing to do that. You helped me tremendously with keeping me motivated. I always pick up the phone. I always pick up the phone. Because everybody important. Thank you for being on the podcast today. How you feel about performing tonight? You feeling good? I feel amazing. All right, let's get out here and do it. All right.
