I think I like about him is this he is very Very I mean extreme For many to making sure that he's digging deep within itself to do everything he possibly can to put itself in the best position He never wants to take a short cut and he only wants to do it the right way He's one of those old school but new school players in the game. I integrity super creative and most importantly just a dope human being I'm honored super high to have my brother on here FAD Dress though FAD Dress though welcome to the bidding war's podcast my brother Yeah, yeah, it's a knowledge to be here man. Appreciate appreciate the invite man. No doubt Well, listen, you know I had to give you that big boy intro man. I'm mad. I have to do that man Well, appreciate it man. Good looking No doubt about it man Another one So listen, I want to jump right into it. You've been through a lot of some downs in your life And I mean you've been through at all economic pressure trying to get to the back on you've been pressure from life And bills and trying to finance your music career I want you to break down to the people, you know how hard it has been to be an artist in this game and why you have not quit Well, let me answer it in this way being an artist. It's not easy if you if you're an artist It's not easy to be an artist But if you love to be an artist then you'll do whatever it takes to Is she what you want to achieve as an artist? So it's all about love and being committed and being sure Oh, this is what I want to do. This is what I wanted to do a lab. This is my career. This is this is what I Love to do it when I enjoy right and I know you say you love it and you're enjoyable But I would like for you to go with just a little bit more in detail about that love and most importantly About the pain up and ours because as an independent artist you are the entire show Your finance and everything you're managing your time to the teeth. You got to prove your artwork do this do that So just just kind of be detailed with that so people can really hear from your perspective The highs and the lows and why you still Well, here's the thing me growing up. I was never taken seriously people always misunderstood me never really took seriously What I said or understood what I said so I always found like the the writing side was always like the best way to express myself So that that was my way of expressing to people and in time I just fell in love with it and I'm It just became something that I like to do when did the switch flip for you fade when you say you know what? I'm gonna take this music game serious and just really start to pull money I'm gonna invest in my my heart and soul and it I win did it win it this question Yeah, okay Well at first is all about like putting a point across like just Coping that my Strait in a message it was all that's what's all about in the beginning But and when I started like noticing changes and just noticing my growth and music I started like taking it seriously like maybe I have a chance with this maybe The this is what I'm supposed to do, you know, yeah, and the reason I'm asking that question because psychologically You know, let the people know what type of mindset you are in when you did make the switch and say you know what I'm going This boy talk well, I'm all about taking risk and I'm I was like on my life. I've been around music like my uh My aunts and my uncles like were were poets and my my brother was a DJ before I even became an artist and one of my One of my other aunts is a vocal teacher. So just being around that. It's just um Marinating me to become who I am. Let me and thank you for that insight. Let me tap into this right down to the bit Was like audience from I influential was music early on in your life like when you do you know, did you go around Get a music in your home and all that kind of stuff like that Yeah, absolutely. I grew up like my mom was always playing like James Brown Michael Jackson and um Spanish music like how did you call that like a banda and Cumbia so I grew up around that kind of music and who were some of the artists that were influencing you like at a young age Well, me personally the artist that I bought until this day. I still listen to as James Brown, Lil Wayne, old school women then and um What's the connection with you and booze? Well, I just like that artist like and like every single song he He's one of the realest rappers that I've ever heard in my life like he he he's not scared to say what he wants in the song Like that's what I like about him Okay, these fearless. Yeah, he's fearless and I can relate to that a lot. Let me actually just question here Explain to the bidding wars 40 years when you step into the bull. What are you trying to explain how you feel? I was playing this sweet when I get into the bulls well I become faded dressed though because the three entities of me there's Benjamin Bacera the writer and fade dressed The artist Yeah, kind of like an alter ego if I may say right. Yeah when it comes to Performing mic is in your hand your own stage lights a low proud is going crazy They recite music to some of your biggest to some of your biggest songs Explain how that moment will make you feel once you're And that's one of my that's one of my happiest moments and the thing I love most about making music Because it's just the connectivity and just the just being around the crowd that's enjoying your music and It's just really electrifying and they're really you for it. You've been through so much faith You accomplish a lot a long way to go explain to the bidding wars audience how important is it to have the right people around you Very important man because a wise man once said the people you hang around with will be the the people You're gonna end up like black. Let's say for example if you're around people They got nothing going on. That's how you're gonna be So it's all about right it's all about surrounding your around people with the same aspects and qualities and mindset Let me actually this fade when you think about legacy legacy means something different to every artist explains it a bit in worst audience Your definition of the word legs being remembered for something that you stand for and something that Truly defines you to the core definitely. I want to ask you this when it comes to give us your viewpoints on what is your What is the state of music not just rap but pop R being hip like what is your viewport on the state of music? State of music ran out. It's so it's still changing but one of the things I've been noticing a lot about music is Country is really dominator right now in country is evolving and I'm loving it like I then grew I Growing up I wasn't really listening to country, but this new country is going on like with Louis the finger It's phenomenal amazing. Yeah, it's a it's a very diverse bag You know what I'm saying? It is it encourages me and me and wants me to make a song with that kind of sound because This is really like it's amazing Explain your type of sound when people come to your this or thisography and they press play what type of listening experience you think that they should have well It's uh, you're talking about genre. Say last party. Are you explain? Are you trying to see what type of genre? Do I represent? No, just overall like what's the fade sound like the sound? You know like when people hear music what type of experience do you think they get from it? What they're feeling about? What you're Well, when you listen to my music, you're gonna notice a lot of songs about heartbreak So I have a lot of those a lot of songs about being homeless a lot of songs about Well, these songs I'm about to mention are not all old songs that you're not gonna find them on YouTube It's only on band cap it I used to write songs about being being under the influence I didn't want to say the wrong word, you know, so yeah, and also songs about about loving life and about family Yeah, I'm poor news family. It's very important man. I talked to my mom and grandma almost every day So it's I love my family. I know about anybody. I've seen people who I don't really that connected but to me It's vital it's vital because I mean your mom put you in this world So for you to not be in test for your mama on a high level is some It's not good. Yeah, your music has white people Latino people it has the acceptance of people in Britain UK I mean you have a very wide appeal when it comes to your music What is one component about your music that you know people really in that? Well, one of the components then when it comes to my music is the fact that I can make the listener and move And I can make the person feel certain types of emotions depending on the song Give out how was your name spelled on stream of sight so people can stream your eye already when Tyle and 12 Fade Gresto Fadee space D-R-E-S-T-O Fade Fadee Yeah, Fadee let me actually this what you think about your responsibility to the game of music Now because you know music can give you everything is there a very few people make it to that level of Start them that we're talking about but what do you feel like your obligation is to me my obligation to music and I always tell this myself every single day Respect it How my carry out with love and don't abuse it don't think just because don't how can I say is don't think okay Don't think that once you like make it you're gonna like a my low ball and just blacklist all the old geez You know, it's like respecting knowing your place knowing who was there before you and just being humble No, I was real right there man. Yeah, give about your Instagram. I'm Hannah.
