Summary

Heather McDonald hosts a 2017 interview with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Lisa Rinna, discussing her early career struggles, relationship with Harry Hamlin, and experiences on the reality TV show. The episode opens with pop culture commentary on Jim Carrey's appearance at an awards show and various celebrity moments from the SAG Awards.

Insights
  • Reality TV success requires authentic self-presentation rather than manufactured drama; cast members who study the show before joining tend to create contrived storylines that don't resonate
  • Trauma and family history significantly shape parenting approaches and personal boundaries; Lisa's mother's near-fatal attack by a serial killer influenced her protective parenting style
  • Career longevity in entertainment requires willingness to take controversial roles early; Harry Hamlin's role in 'Making Love' (1981) was ahead of its time despite initial career damage
  • Financial motivation is a primary driver for reality TV participation; cast members must leverage the platform to sell products, properties, or services to justify the exposure
  • Relationship dynamics on reality TV are complicated by family loyalty; Kyle's allegiance to her sister Kim creates ongoing tension that cannot be fully resolved through cast dynamics
Trends
Rapid trend cycles in entertainment and fashion; body positivity movement lasted only 4 years before reverting to preference for extreme thinnessCelebrity conspiracy theories and deepfake concerns gaining mainstream attention; Jim Carrey's appearance sparked viral speculation about clones and prostheticsReality TV casting shifting toward less experienced participants; producers prefer cast members unfamiliar with the show format to ensure authentic reactionsQVC and direct-to-consumer sales becoming essential revenue streams for reality TV personalities; multiple cast members leverage platform for product linesTherapeutic intervention becoming normalized in relationships; couples therapy before marriage now viewed as prudent rather than problematicSerial killer documentaries and true crime content driving mainstream entertainment consumption; referenced multiple times as popular viewing among families

Heather McDonald has got the Juicy Scoop. When you're on the road, when you're on the go, Juicy Scoop is the show to know. She talks Hollywood tales, her real life, Mr. Sakeman's serial data, and serial sister, you'll be addicted and addicted fast to the number one tabloid, real life podcast. Listen in, listen up, woo woo. Heather McDonald, Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I have a great Juicy episode for you. I can't wait to get into it. Here are some of the crazy things that happen over the weekend that are light and pop culture related. So we're going to take a break. We're just going to get into Juicy Pop Culture stuff for you. Everybody thought that Jim Carrey was not Jim Carrey. He won an award. He accepted it in French and he appeared to look very different. His voice was very different. So several videos were made. One video they zoomed in and his brown eyes, which have always been brown, appeared to be like a light green blue, which made me think even if you got a facelift that's still swollen, which is what I initially thought. I thought it's him with a swollen facelift. I thought, why would he change his eye color? Then I saw another video, which was the swollen face, possibly bad facelift, but it still had brown eyes. So I'm like to the original person that did that video just throwing the different color eyes. It's so weird to know what's real or not. And the reason you're like, well, why would it not be him, Heather? Why would there be a clone? Well, because in following all this crazy stuff, it was Jim Carrey who upon accepting a different award, mentioned trafficking and killing of children. He also brought up the Illuminati sign with Jimmy Kimmel, where the audience was just laughing, thinking that he was mocking kind of the ridiculousness of the conspiracy theories around the Illuminati and the triangle and all of that. Other people feel like he was the one truth teller. There's also videos of when he was with Jenny McCarthy in which he was very much against immunization and vaccines for babies and they believe that had a correlation to her child who has autism. So they're like, the Illuminati has gotten him. Okay. A lot of people like me were like, I think it could still just be a facelift. Then they said he's left-handed and they show him this guy coming out, signing autographs with the right hand, not the left hand. In the comments, someone would say, well, I'm left-handed and sometimes if I don't care about something, I'll sign it with my other hand and I don't care. Okay, fine. TMZ now reported this publicist said it is him. There's also a very famous makeup artist named Alexis Stone who does full masks and makeups and has done everything from her being glen-close, he being glen-close in the Dalmatians to Kim Kardashian and he just does incredible stuff. You should just follow him. He's just an incredible artist and he had done Jim Carrey once. So then they thought, is it Alexis Stone being Jim Carrey? Who knows? The other thought is when he played Andy Kaufman, the incredible comedian that kind of played a character his whole life and then Andy Kaufman died. We didn't know if he was really dead or not or if it was all just a long, elaborate like prank or hoax. Is Jim Carrey doing some type of role and he wanted to just play this live prank out for us where maybe someone with his blessing was him or was him, Jim Carrey, with some type of mask or prosthetics and he was out there and now he's back looking like normal Jim Carrey. So that took up Pupils Weekends. Okay, then there was the SAG Awards which Kristen Bell was the host, her husband, Dak Shepard, a lot of people that enjoy his podcast and have kind of studied their relationship when she spent on the show have questioned their unique relationship and marriage. And he did not go to see his wife host the SAG Awards because according to TMZ, it's now come out that he had a colonoscopy planned and therefore couldn't go. Now, he's a Hollywood star. You can reschedule those things. You could probably have someone come to your house and do it for you. I don't even know. But not a great excuse. He recently said about Valentine's Day that he only celebrated his mother and daughters and gave them gifts and flowers and did his wife. I don't know why you would be doing this unless they're playing us too. Like maybe they're like, let's have fun with the audience like Jim Carrey and make them think I'm a bigger asshole than they could even believe by not supporting my wife when she hosts the major thing. Maybe Kristen Bell didn't want him there. Maybe he makes her nervous or stresses her out when she's on stage. I can understand that. So I think maybe it was her wishing that she didn't want him to go and he's like, I'll just say I have to take a, I'll just have a medical procedure the next day or something. Just so there's like no heat on us. But the truth is I make you nervous. I stress you out. So I'm going to sit back and not be there so that you can actually have a more relaxing experience hosting it. So the fashions were really good. I thought Kristen Wiig looked the sexiest. If you, if you could pull off a dress like this, you know, especially on the red carpet, because when she turns to the side and you see like the side tit and the cute little butt and she's very thin and worked out. She's always had a great body. Her hair looks great. She just, she looked really, really good. So it was just a great look for her. And I think this look of a dress is really chic. Michael B Jordan one for the sinners. And they also honored Rob Reiner, Catherine O'Hara and Diane Keaton who have passed. So, but people were once again very shocked by Kelly Osborne who accepted an award with her mother honoring their father. And just how different she looks extremely different. She looks also Demi Moore was on the red carpet and some people were alarmed about how thin the she looks and people are a lot, a lot thinner today. And it's crazy that, you know, it was only about four years ago where everybody was, you know, really pushing and embracing and talking about there. No one's ever looked better, you know, in this, in our curvy bodies to now the complete opposite. I mean, that must have been the shortest movement of quote unquote body top positivity that ever lived in the history. Like it's just like, it's like trends are happening so quickly. They're like over before they start. But anyway, that was a lot of discussion as well as people thinking other people look good. I'll be honest, I didn't watch the show. I don't think the word shows are that entertaining. But I do like looking at the photos and they were some good ones. Okay, so now I really am excited to tell you guys this interview is with Lisa Rena and I hearing so much about her and the excitement around her book and traders and knowing her for so long. I was like kept trying to remember the interview that I did with her. And so we pulled it up. I listened to it. It's from 2017. I'm like, this is so good. It's so juicy. It's so fun. And being that it was, you know, nine years ago almost, it's really kind of interesting to listen to because we know what happened after and where she is. But we get into her, her life and her marriage with Harry Hamlin and some of the things that I'm seeing aren't headlines like Lisa Rena finally discusses this, you know, finally discusses that. I'm like, Oh, no, she said it in my interview podcast in 2017. So you guys are going to love it. I was there and I loved hearing it back. And if you're watching this on YouTube, we did not film for YouTube back in 2017, but we did pull up a lot of great photos in reference to what we're talking about. So that's going to be really fun to watch on YouTube and see all the great housewife scenes and her different looks and things throughout the years. And so here we go with a great interview from the Juicy Scoop Archives with Lisa Reda. Everyone's got that one friend who's always wearing the cutest outfits and you're like, where did you get that? Lisa Rena. Hi. Hi Heather. And we've known each other for a long time. We have. So long. Oh my God. I just remember the first time we did anything together. Tell me because I can't even remember of course. Okay. Let me think about what year this was. I want to say it was like 2006, 2005 maybe. Okay. It was so long ago. Anyway, it was very long ago. I'll know it when you tell me. Okay. We taped a little thing in Jillian Barbary Reynolds guest house. Oh my God. Yes, we did. I totally forgot about that. Yes. Was it like a little pilot or what was it? Well, basically it was really funny because my friend Liz Roman. Liz. Yes. Yes. So she and I have been friends since first grade. She was really good friends with Jillian. I became friends with Jillian. And when Jillian was doing the Fox morning show, she had all these fabulous friends. And then we would a couple of times she invited me to dinner and I'm like, God, this is like the juiciest scoops of these fat from fashion designers to actresses to everything. And so we were like, why don't we do what we call it girls nine and, and we filmed the thing in her house and we had like different groups of people. We had Chelsea come was one of them. You're kidding. No. And then, and then I see Chelsea and I'm like, if you ever need a writer for your show, you're not. No, I didn't really know her. I didn't know that. And it was before right before the E show, but she had this other smaller show that was once a week. And so then when she got the bigger show, I was like, you know, and then this thing just didn't go. And then we were like a production team behind us or anything. We just kind of do it. I remember we were funny, but it was really, it was really fun. But I just remembered you told a real juicy ass story. Did I? How did I not remember? This is what happens when you go past 50. You cannot remember anything. You told a story. Because we wanted to make it fun, but we also wanted to make it like exactly what my show is right now. It's like funny, but it's also super juicy. It can be like, and this was a super juicy story. Your mother was attacked. She was kidnapped and attacked. She was. And that's the story. You told that story. I told that story. Oh, while on the table drinking. Good Lord. She was. Yeah. And they were someone through like hit her in the head with a hammer. It was someone she worked with. Tell the story. Okay. She was 30 years old. This is a cautionary tale for anybody. Yeah. 30 years old, um, worked with this guy and she was waiting. Where was she working at? I can't remember that, but like an office in San Francisco, like an office setting. Okay. So an office friend that she felt sorry for because he stuttered. So he, she was at the bus stop waiting to go to the dentist and he came by and he said, hi, Lois and was stuttering. I guess when he was saying it, but he said, I'll take you come in the car. I'll drive you. So again, she didn't really go with her gut at the time, but once she got in the car, her gut was like, hmm, this doesn't really feel right. All of a sudden he stopped stuttering. He's talking to her and he's not stuttering at all. Long story short, they're in San Francisco. He drives her down to the Presidio. No, let me just ask a couple of questions. So she's 30. Is she married to your dad yet? But she's just, she's just started dating my dad. I want to say six weeks earlier. Okay. Okay. She just told the story. She was just here and she was talking about it. And so how long had she known the co-worker, supposed stutterer? Three years. Oh, really? Yeah. So do you think that he knew that she was seeing someone and it was like making him go crazy? Well, he was married and had a baby at home. And so when he picked her up, he said, I want to take you by and show you the new baby because my mom had met his wife. So wouldn't you feel like you feel comfortable? Right. Like one of your guys out there. Yeah. Like he might be a serial killer. Who knows? Oh my God, do you think that is with Ray? I mean, I know him well enough. I mean, do you think? He has a baby. Okay. Well, this is the story. And you know, long story short, he drove her down to the Presidio, which was deserted at the time. Okay. And he literally, I mean, he probably would have raped her, but he didn't. He saw, a military policeman saw them go down. So when he was driving down the deserted road, what is he saying to her? He's saying, he's not stuttering. And she's like, David, what's wrong with you? What's going on? This doesn't feel right. And I was like, why didn't you jump out of the car? You know, of course you, at that time you freeze. Like she was just like, what's going on? And he goes, I don't know, Lois, something funny comes over me and he's not stuttering at all. I mean, it's a scary tale. It's a scary fucking tale. She probably would have raped her and killed her. But what happened was he saw the military police come down. The military police saw them drive down this deserted road. So he literally jumps on top of my mom, goes at her with a knife. Where was the knife? Under the seat? In the glove box. He grabs the knife out of the glove box, goes at her with a knife. She grabs it with her hand. I know this is so hard. It's horrible. Cuts her, you know, two fingers here. So this is all in the car, the front seat. Okay. So he's straddling her. Yeah. Goes at her with a knife. She grabs it. And then he gets in the back seat and grabs a hammer and starts hitting her over the head with a hammer. This is a true story. The military police comes down. My mom gets out of the car. Her head is like, you know, bleeding. Her purse falls on the ground. She's in total shock. And she says all I remember doing is putting things back in my purse, like thinking, oh, everything's falling out of my purse. So she's in total shock. Yeah. He gets out of the car. David Carpenter is his name. He turns out to be a serial killer in the end. And he's on death row for two sentences of death. Okay, wait. Let's finish the story and then I got to have to ask you about that. Go. She's in shock, but thank God the military police got us there. Military police shoots David Carpenter in the stomach, but doesn't kill him. So then they put my mom in a car and they're going to put David in the car with her and she starts freaking out. Of course. Like, I don't call an ambulance. I think an ambulance comes, but I don't know the exact story, but they're trying to put her in this military police car, I think, to get her to the hospital. So somehow she gets to the hospital. They shoot him, but he doesn't die. Goes to prison, but gets out on a plea six years later. Saying what? Temporary insanity or something? No, he made a plea deal somehow. Was your mom scared when he got out? Yeah, she probably was, but at that point they'd moved and lived in Newport Beach. And so he turned out to be the Mount Tamalpias killer and you can Google this. So wait, he gets out six years later. And then he starts killing people in Mount Pias? Mount Tamalpias. Where's that in California? It's in Mill Valley. Oh. So two different, there's like two different sets of serial killings and then he's raped a bunch of women. Like he's- All after your mother? All after my mother. Before my mother, he had raped two women. So during the sentencing phase for the death penalty was when I was- After the, after the, they found out, how many people did he, okay, so he gets out- Like 22. Six years after he gets out, he kills 22 people. Well, in a period of about- In the Mill Valley area. Maybe 10, 15 years. Women, all women. And men. Like couples too. Yeah. And where's his wife and baby? At this point, I think they're divorced. Well, I would think so. Yeah. I think they're divorced. And so he turns out to be this horrible serial killer. And so we go during the sentencing phase, my mom has to testify. And there's three women that survived. So now it's, this is like how many years after now? Like 15? Well, I was probably 21. Oh, so it's like 20, 30 years later. Yeah. 30 years ago. Yeah, yeah. So he's- No, but it was 20, more than 20 years after her incident. And so she had to go back and see him in the courtroom and we were all there. And it's really, you know, I grew up with a lot of fear, obviously, because my mom was so overprotective. Right. Imagine. Yeah. You know, there was a lot of fear. So, you know, obviously I've done quite a bit of therapy. No, but I think when you have something happen to you like that or even to someone close to you, it does affect your parenting. Yeah, I grew up with it. I grew up with that kind of- Kind of that it could happen. Yeah, of course. And so it's made me who I am and it makes me very leery, you know, it makes me very protective and my boundaries go up quite quickly, I would say. Yeah. You know? Well, on that- I was happy to know. But I just remember, I just thought of that when you sat in it because I started to go back like, and then another time that I talked to you was at Ross Matthews Book Party. And that was a couple years before you were part of the cast of Real House Beverly Hills, but there was rumors and I said, are you going to do it? And you're like, you know, I don't know Heather. Harry Hamlin is not opposed. I don't know. And I was like, I think you should do it. I remember that. And I was like, I don't know. I'm not sure. I don't know. So you did say that. I do believe I deserve a cut. Okay. Well, there's not much to cut. I can like, I'll send you to the spot. Take the QBC cut. Apparently Harry Hamlin never has to work again. Well. From your dust or sweaters. I'll tell you. Harry Hamlin can, he can do whatever he wants now, which before, you know, Harry Hamlin's had to do a lot of really, somebody on my shitty things. I have this juicy scoop obsessed group on Facebook. Hi, Juicy. Juicy. Juicy scoop obsessed. Hi Juicy scoop obsessed group. That's hard to say. But they're like really fun. They post things. And so I guess somebody go, somebody started talking about that and they brought up that there were some like, maybe a lame sitcom or two that we all believe in. You know, Harry Hamlin did not enjoy doing. And this was before the dusters came out. I'll tell you, Harry Hamlin's had to do a couple of things that are not Harry Hamlin esque. Right. I mean, more than a couple. And he's not happy about it. And so I've always wanted to get to a point because every actor has to do that, you know, especially nowadays. Yeah. I mean, to even survive as an actor is half impossible. Really. Think about it. So many things are going through my head. First of all, I just remembered another thing. There's so many things that I don't think of that income. Harry Hamlin, I believe now I'm 99% sure. Okay. Didn't he do an extremely controversial movie called Making Love? Of course. He was kind of the first straight guy to go full blown gay. He was the first. He in acting. Okay. Let's tell the story because I remember the movie. Okay. So the movie was 80, 1981. Was it made for TV or was it a real movie? Feature film. 20th Century Fox. Okay. So it's about a woman and a man who are married. Harry Hamlin is married to a woman. No, it's, I think it's Michael Ankeen married to Kate Jackson. Oh, and Harry Hamlin was the full blown gay. Okay. Sorry. So imagine taking on that role in 1981. Wait, let's tell the guy, let me tell them the juicy story because it's a really juicy movie. Okay. They're happily married couple and then the guy starts seeing Harry around. Is Harry a swimmer in this? I don't remember. I mean, they just wanted to show off his body. I doubt it. Anyway, he starts seeing him and then they fricking do it. He goes over to Harry's house. Harry is a pioneer. He is. He is a goddamn pioneer. They have sex and the guy has to tell his wife, I'm doing this now. How did it end? I don't remember exactly, but I'll tell you on a day. He goes, he leaves his wife, but she except, but they're all friends at the end of the party or something now, which is the way it should be. But that was now when that, now you were not married to him then. No, I just, I graduated from high school. Right. But you're working, you just revealed in last week's episode that you were working at a high class lens crafters. Basically, not when I was 18, but when I was about 20, I was 29 by this time. 29. So I'm still struggling. Okay. You are an actress, you're a model, you have a headshot, you have an agent. And this is your job at the eye glass play. Wait, wait, let me go back to the hidden being gay. Okay. Now, in the movie. Yes. That's too hard to find out. If that's the new rumor on the show. Oh, please. You know, because that's always, that's always the thing these housewives throw around. They, someone's husband is gay. Of course. That's a very common one. Very common. Yes, it is. And I bet those bitches don't even know. He made that movie. That movie was gay in 81. Did he ever like question it? Was his agents ever like, I think this is a mistake because you're going to be pegged as gay or did he know being a straight man, this was the ultimate like acting role? Well, you'd have to talk to him about it exactly. But I know that it was offered to him. It was told to him that it could ruin his career. And I think once that was told him, he was like, well, fuck you. I'm going to do it then. He's a little bit like that. Like I am. It's like someone tells me no. And it did ruin his career for about five years. It did? Oh, absolutely. More than five years. What happened? We couldn't get arrested. Couldn't not get a job. Because people thought he was gay? No, because it was so controversial. They just didn't want to touch him. You know, it was such a controversy. I mean, I remember, okay, I remember I, and I was like 10 or 11 and I saw, I was getting just a five. I got to see every movie. I stayed up late for every. I love poker movies. I said, my parents had no, they were exhausted. They didn't care. I never, I had my friend Liz goes, I remember you coming to like third grade at Catholics will be like, did you see the mistress last night with Victoria principal? You're like, yes. Yeah. And that's what I would say to her. And Liz would be like, no, we went to bed at nine. Like what are you doing at eight? Like I was like, my parents are up like, and I'm just sitting there watching. Like I was like, yeah, I was like so excited. And my son, my 10 year olds the same way. Cause he keeps going to today, Thursdays, today, Thursday, cause he's so excited to see the Menendez brothers murders. Mini series. So am I by the way, but yeah, 10 year old. Wow. Well, he's almost 11. Anyway, but again, I'm like, I kind of parent like my mom in that respect. But anyway, it all worked out. So we, because I knew about Harry Hamlin's movie. He did at 11. Wow. I knew what day was very young. So like I, my parents had gay real when they were in real estate, so they had gay clients. So I knew, and then I remember going to the gay clients house and he's like, and I go, wow, you have a lot of, you know, a lot of toilet paper, whatever it goes. Well, my friend is very, you know, wants to always stock up on stuff. And I'm like, you mean your boyfriend. And they were like, Oh my God. Cause here, like my parents, you know, went to Catholic, we're here in the New Jersey, this little eight year old who goes to Catholic school. And I'm like, well, aren't you guys like a couple? And they're like, okay. Like, you know, you are so ahead of your time. I'm so, I didn't know anything. I don't even think I had ever. No, now I do now. No. Yes. It's taken what 50 years and I now know. Okay. Yeah. No, I knew everything. And so, um, so that's crazy. So it did hurt him then. It did. And he didn't carry. I, if you ask him today, if he would do it again, he said, he would say yes. Absolutely. He was, did he ever get jealous when broke back mountain came out? Because talk about being ahead of your time and being born in the wrong era. Well, I think that, you know, Harry is very much, Harry Hamlin is very much like that. Can you ever just call him Harry? I do. Okay. We call him H.H. a lot. Okay. All right. Um, Harry was ahead of his time in many, in, has been in many things, like over and over and over again. So yeah, you know, at that point or seeing Philadelphia or nowadays it's so accepted. It's so different. But, you know, he has, he has people come up to him daily thanking him and saying that, you know, they came out because of that movie. Andy Cohen will tell you that that movie was like a huge part of his, you know, growing up and being able to, you know, this is like the first time they ever got to see, you know, that on, on screen. Right. So Harry's been ahead of his time in a lot of things. It's just who he is. He would never take it back. And you know, he was offered a Warner Brothers contract way back in the day. I mean, he could have been the biggest movie star ever, like ever, ever, ever. Why didn't you take it? He didn't take it. I'm like, why didn't you take it? Cause of course I say yes to everything. He turned it down. I'm like, you are crazy. He turned it down because he didn't like, they wanted him to be Tarzan. Remember way back in the day. So that was the first movie he, they wanted him to do his Tarzan. He was like, I'm not doing it. And then they wanted him to do Saturn three with Farrah Fawcett. And he was like, it was the worst piece of shit script ever. I mean, he's, he's classically trained. He's a stage actor. And so he's very, very, very picky about what he does. So now he can be very, very picky because the Dester Cardigan has made it for us. No, not just the Dester Cardigan. It's a good damn business. But it's really great. Now he can just, he doesn't have to take a bad TV movie, a bad sitcom or something that he doesn't want to do. He can do like really great stuff. He can go do theater in New York. He can do everything that he's always wanted to do. So you're working at the eyeglass place. And now where are you in your career at this point? What have you done? I've done a lot of commercials. So at this point I've probably done like 13 Taco Bell commercials. And you still have to work at the eyeglass place? I was collecting unemployment. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. How are you collecting unemployment while working at the eyeglass place? Well, oh shit. Yeah. Ray, maybe no, I'm just kidding. I imagine someone comes after her 20 years later. Yeah, I rested for that. Probably. My friend owned the store. And so he had me working there and he just paid me cash. Oh gosh. I know. So scandalous. That's the most scandalous thing I've ever heard. Probably. That's what's going to come out at the reunion. Lisa Rinna is collecting cash under the table while she's collecting unemployment. Annie Cohen. Heather MacDonald from Woodland Hills said, is it true? Yeah. From Beaver Creek, Nebraska said, is it true that you've collected unemployment? Then somebody whips out the... I'd love it if someone just played my podcast. Can we do that in the reunion and get my thing going? Get you a nice little plug. Yeah. Okay. So he strolls in to pick up the glasses. Yeah. And now he is recently broken his engagement with Nicolette Sheridan. No. They were married. Oh, they were married. And she had just left him for Michael Bolton. This is a true story. But I don't know that. So he strolls in. So you think he's married to Nicolette Sheridan? Yes. And he's like, I'm here to pick up my glasses. And I give him his glasses and you're just like, oh my God. That's Harry Hamlin. Was he at all flirty with you? No. Not at all. Okay. No. It was very business like. Okay. So then what happens? It's like, he wants to be friends with Nicolette and Harry. Okay. So there's a little crossover there. So one night I go to give Brad the key. So to the store. To the store because you won't let me have the key. I have to like go and deliver it to him. He's always up there for dinner. Okay. So I work from like six to 10. So at 10 I would go and give the key to Brad or he'd be there. Okay. At the Hamlin's. Okay. At the eyeglass store. Oh, at the eyeglass store. At the eyeglass store. So I went to give Brad the key and he's having dinner with Harry over at Shanes. Okay. So Il Segretto. So we've been up there for a long time. 25 years. I've been with Harry now. Quarter of a century. Just this January 1st. It's quarter of a century. So I go to give them the key or give Brad the key and he goes sit down with us. They're having dinner. So I sit down and order a glass of wine and we start chatting. I just seen Cirque du Soleil for the first time. I was so blown away by it. I mean, the very first time you've seen Cirque du Soleil, you're like, oh my God. So I'm telling them all about this. And I'm just like, you know, chattering away like I do. And I leave and it was like fine, right? I didn't think twice about it really. Because you think he's married. He's married. I think he's married. So I'm having drinks with a married man and my friend. Yeah. Bachelor friend Brad. Yeah. So I'm living in Brentwood at the time. We had answering machines. Yes, I remember. And I'm in the shower and I hear the answering machine go off. I turn it off. And I hear my friend Brad say, hi, Lisa. It was really great last night. Harry really had a good time. And if he were single, he would like to date you. I was like, that's so fucked up. He's not single. Right. He's married. You know, that's, I was like, ew, you know, well, he wasn't married. So then what did you do? So you called Brad and you was like, what the hell? I don't remember that. I don't know if I talked to him or what. I just thought that was weird. And then we, I found out that, because the press came out that Nicolette had left him for Michael Bolton. And then what happened? Well, then did you want to date? Then it took a while. It's a long involved story. It takes way too long to tell it, but we do finally go on a date. And how, how many dates before your bone? Well, at least 10, because I make him go get an AIDS test. This was right like in the. After that movie. Just kidding. It's like, well, this is 25 years ago. It was like, you don't sleep. I was really like, you have to have an AIDS test. And he was like, what are you talking about? I was like, I'm not sleeping with you unless you have an AIDS test. I've had one. Look here, I would, I was weird about it at the time. That's good. I guess back then, you know, it was. I haven't been with him. People should be more like that. So I made him go get an AIDS test. And once he got his papers back. Then you went for it. Once he was okay. Then we. But I made him wait, which was good. Right. You know, we went on 10 days before we slept together. He was pretty. Yes, but he stayed in it. Yeah. Think about it. That's a long time. He was like, pissed. I remember my, what am I, my best friend? Like I was dating Peter and. He dated a Peter too. Well, it's not the same one, but whatever. But he said he, we were been on a couple of dates and we hadn't slept together. And he's like, Hey, I would you like to, I have this thing like he was in sales and he's like, I have this rumor or like whatever package deal at the Hyatt and San Diego that's going to expire. Sexy. Yeah. I was pretty excited. No, it wasn't the Hyatt. It was the Hilton. It was one of these San Diego ones. Okay. But it was right on the water. Nice. And I'm like 28. So. Okay. So yeah, that's exciting. I'm excited. Yeah. So my friend goes, don't do it, Heather. Don't go. It's too soon. So the thing is really the one you've the rest of your life to go to the Hyatt and San Diego. We've never been to the Hyatt and San Diego. So whatever we pass this, cause it's kind of near where I do this, where I do comedy in San Diego. And I'm always like, I always bring it up and it'll some other will be in the car. And I'm like, I turned down that weekend, the Hyatt and San Diego, cause we had the rest of our lives to bone. And it's your husband. He is my husband. Okay. So there they still, it worked. Now, did you think he wasn't ever going to ask you? Yeah, I was, I was getting to that point. You know, he'd already been married twice. Who was the first one? Laura Johnson. Is that just what she was on Falcon crest? Oh, he's only dating famous ladies. He likes his ladies. He likes his famous ladies. You know, Ursula is his baby mama. Ursula Andrus. He has a child. Yes. Dmitri. How old is she? Well, no, Dmitri is his son. Oh, sorry. 36. But he was with Ursula first. So then he was with Laura Johnson, but he didn't marry Ursula. So he's with Laura Johnson married and then I don't know how long, but no kids with her. No kids with her. No kids with Nicolette. No kids with Nicolette. Only married Nicolette for 11 months. Okay. So he was very long. So he was really excited. So this was going to be hard to get him to the altar. He was not really excited to get married. One baby mama, two ex-wives. He was like, I don't think so. And how, and he's older than you, like what, five years older? He's 12 years older. Oh, he's 12 years older. Yeah. I know. How fucking old is Harry Halic? He's older than anyone thinks. He's like, he's pretty, I mean, really. Okay. So wait a minute. Now you're in your thirties and so your clock's ticking and you're like, what are we doing here? That's right. So we go to Tahiti about a year and a half after we start dating. And this is back when people had babies in their thirties, not at 50. Right. Like Jenna Jackson today. Yeah. So I mean, I'm like ticking. Ticking. Yeah. So about a year and a half in, we go to Tahiti and I think for sure he's going to propose to me in Tahiti. He just, I mean, he's going to, right? It's Tahiti. But you talk as a couple. You're living together and you're talking about marriage. Do you ever get worried? Does he always get weird about it? We're not really talking about it. No. Are you talking about having a baby? No. We're not really talking much about anything. Did you ever think about just getting knocked up? Yeah. Were you trying to do that? No. Cause I was on the pill. But did you ever just like look at the pill and like pretend to stick it in your mouth and then? No. Cause I'm too, I'm a good girl and I like, I follow the rules. And you wanted to have the wedding. Yeah. With a flat stomach. Of course. And you know what? I always felt like if it was going to happen, we would be married. I just, I did, I never saw it any other way. That was smart of you. Most women would have fucked it up. Most would have, but you know what? It came to a point where I was like, you know what? You need to do your thing. Cause he was fucked up after Nicolette left him from Michael Polk. And they're not together, right? No. Okay. No, but he was. I mean, he didn't see it coming. So imagine like you're married to this woman. So that she was having an affair. Well, she went to the Hollywood Bowl one night and, and saw him and then had an affair with him that night. What's a Michael Bolton song? I can't even think of one. Um, yeah. Um, I did get to, this was really funny story. I did get to see him because you know, I always say, thank you, Michael Bolton because if it weren't for Michael Bolton, I would not have my beautiful children. And so about two years ago, we were at the, you have a Michael Bolton song. Two years ago, we were at the, um, Hull of Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Yes. And I know Michael Bolton. I, I've known him for years, but I haven't seen him, you know, really much since I've been with Harry. And Harry wasn't really a real fan of his after that had happened. But I always said, God, would you ever like be in the car and a song would come on and he would turn it off. Oh yeah. Oh for sure. Oh for sure. I mean, now he doesn't care, but we're sitting there and I go, I got to go over and thank him. I just do. Like there's Michael Bolton. There's my chance. So I walk over, hi Michael, how are you? He's really nice and, and cordial. And I, I take his hand and I go, I just have to thank you. I've always wanted to send you flowers, but I haven't, but I have to thank you because if it weren't for you, I would not have my beautiful family. He takes my hands and he looks at me and he goes, you are so welcome. It was such a good moment. I'll never, ever, ever forget it. Okay. So you go to Tahiti. Yeah. You make sure you have a manicure in case you get your diamond. I'm thinking for sure. And then I get nothing and I'm pissed. So now you're a bitch on the 12, 14 hour flight home. I'm a bitch on the trip. And Harry's like, what's wrong? And I'm like, well, I thought you were going to propose to me. You say it. Of course. Of course I'm going to say it. Well, I'm not going to. I wasn't going to. I was like, oh damn. We had to kind of get over that hurdle and then about five and a half years later, he asks me at dinner. Like we're sitting at dinner. Tahiti happened how soon after dating? One and a half years. So that's the appropriate time. Then he says, I'm not. And then you just go on with your life. And then the clock really starts ticking. Now you're at year five. Now what? You're still not saying anything? Well, so long ago, I don't remember. I think I was working on the soap. So I was so busy. Okay. I don't care. I'm learning 40 pages of dialogue a day, right? I'm just trying to get through. I'm just. It's when your hope, right? Was it your character? Billy. Billy, sorry. Billy, but hope and Billy. It's the same. They were both so similar. So I think I was so, I was so immersed in that. Like I could just only survive. So I wasn't thinking of marriage. So we were having dinner one night and he proposed to me at dinner, like just out of the blue. And did he have a ring? He did. And did you like it? I do. Oh, so good. So you didn't change it or anything? No. Classy lady. I love it. It was his mom's diamond. His mom's or his grandmother's diamond. Wow. That's cool. So it's pretty and I love it. And there you go. So I said yes. And then how soon after was the wedding? And did you have a decent size wedding? It was almost about nine months, eight months later, and we had 170 people at the house in our backyard. It was gorgeous. Nice. Gorgeous wedding. And then how soon after that was the first baby? Six months. Oh, so you already knocked up? Yeah, I got knocked up. Well, not I got knocked up like in September. You were engaged? No, I got knocked up. We were married March 29th and I got knocked up in September. Oh, so you still had the flat stomach for that wedding? Oh, yeah, I wore a gorgeous Vera Wang. Fabulous. You still have it? I do, of course. Good. Yeah, she sent me like 15 sketches of dresses. Pick one. And were you like in a people's spread? No. No, no, no. I think so. I didn't even have it videotaped. I didn't want any. We didn't want any. Yeah. I wish we would have now. Yeah. But now we didn't do that. I mean, I would now, of course, my god, I would sell my flippin' soul, which I already have 10 times over. Have they ever approached you, the producers, and said, why don't we do a wedding renewal at your 25th wedding anniversary? No, they haven't, but I think you just gave them the idea. Thanks Heather. Well, it's not a real original idea. But why wouldn't you? Why not? You could have everything you didn't have at the first one. I had everything at the first one, though. You didn't have it videotaped by Bravo. Well, no, I didn't, but I think we're good. You're never going to get Harry Hamlin to do that, ever. Never. I haven't tried yet. You would never get him to. Can you put him on the floor? I could try, but he would not. He won't participate in a valour renewal on a reality show. No. Speaking of reality shows, you guys had a little reality show. We did. On TV land with the girls when they were younger. How many years ago was that? 2009? Was it like Lisa loves Harry or something? Harry loves Lisa, I think. We wanted to do like an I love Lucy type of a show. We wanted it to be called I love Lisa. We wouldn't let that happen, so they called it Harry loves Lisa. We wanted to do it a certain way. They didn't want to do it that way. How did you want to do it? We wanted to do it very much like just follow our lives. We had the stores, we had Belle Grey, there was a shitload of drama going on with our employees and everything. They didn't want to do that. Now again, I believe Harry Hamlin was ahead of his time. Again he was. They were like no. He was gay too soon and he was exploiting his family too soon. Way too soon. And this was a tough time. This is when we had no money. So this came along. This is when you were folding the jeans yourself. Yep, no money. And we were like well they're going to pay us a lot of money to do this show. Was it your idea or did someone approach you with the idea? We had talked about it and then somebody approached us to do a show and then we had that idea. So it came together like that. And then they didn't do that idea at all. So we only did six episodes. And they did it more scripted like a curb sort of. It was kind of more scripted. We want this beginning, middle and end. It's nothing like what we do on The Housewives is what I can tell you. Housewives happens like you have no idea fastballs are being thrown in the back of your head. You just don't know what's going to happen. You told me when we saw each other last year at the HBO Golden Globe Party. Here I go. Yes, that it's the easiest job you've ever had. Is that what I said? Yeah. Well it is in a sense that you just show up. Mary Hamlin is on the set 14 hours a day learning dialogue. I'm drinking with a gals. I show up, I go on a facial, you have a massage, you go to dinner, are you going to someone's house? I mean are you kidding me? It is the easiest fucking job on the planet. Exactly. That's what you told me a year ago. It is. It is. Come on. It's not even like a job. I mean we are lucky and when anybody complains I will bitch slap them. Now don't you think you being a working actress has worked your ass off? Juggling commercials, eyeglasswear, trying to nail down here at Hamlin, saving your last egg, hoping to get pregnant, fucking worked it. And then these women that have never even auditioned for a high school play are your co-stars. And they're bitching about the Mike Pack being cold. How do you deal with that? Well, you know, I don't. I really don't. I do have a rule though, if anybody is not nice to the crew they will hear from me. I will say. And has anyone not been nice to the crew? Yes. Who? I'm not going to say who. Hmm. She'll tell me after. Well, I'm not going to say who, but she's no longer on the show. There have been people that are not nice to the crew and you have to be nice to the crew. Like they push them and they yell at them and they do things that are so inappropriate. Are there people that don't let the crew use their bathrooms at their home when you're filming? I don't know that. I would have to. Because I'm not there. Right. Necessarily. I think everybody lets the crews use their bathroom. It's such a nice crew. We have the nicest. I'm sure you do. Like we really do. Like they're great. It's one of the reasons why I go back. I go back because the crew's so nice. And they're fun. And they're so fun. They're so nice. The girls love them. Like they're really a great crew. Let me just see if what I've. What do you want to know? What's the least favorite show you've ever worked on or actor? I can't. And it could be a housewife. I can't say. I won't say, but there is one. But I won't say. Is it someone that was tweeting you last night? No. No. Interesting. Yeah. What's the least favorite show you've ever worked on? A job. That you can say. I really have been super duper, duper, duper lucky. All right. Well, let's forget that question. Yeah. No, there isn't a bad one. You seem to have a really great marriage with Harry Hamlin. Seems like you guys are down to fuck a lot. Have you ever had a rough, a real rough period? No. In the beginning, it was a little bit rough. With the babies? No. Before the babies. Oh, and you're waiting to get the ring. Yeah. It was a little rough in the beginning because he was just not ready. You know, he was not in the game, let's say. So in the very beginning, it was rough and we went to therapy. And the therapy before you got married. Yes, we did. How about that? Well, I would normally, I would say if you have to go to therapy before you get married, you shouldn't bother. Right. But in your case, it worked. And we needed to. I think maybe when you're dealing with a guy that, you know, again, divorced twice, then maybe, then maybe, I'm going to say that probably is wise. It was really wise when we had a great therapist, great therapist. Now, did you, were you a stepmother to the Dmitri? Yeah. Well, I never thought of myself as a stepmother. But did he come around a lot or was it? At that time, he was 11 when we met. So he was living in Rome with his mother. So we didn't, I didn't get to see him a whole lot. He'd come for the summer and he would come for spring break, but he was going to school in Rome and then he ended up going to Princeton and graduating. I mean, he's. What does he do now? He's an artist. Oh, cool. Yeah. He's really smart. He's gorgeous and. Is he married? He's not. Hmm. Well, ladies, look him up. I know. Well, he has a girlfriend. Oh, well, never mind. Yeah. Um, all right. Your hair. Okay. I think it's great. Thank you. I personally have only changed my hair once. You know, that's what is so funny to me. It's like everybody has the same hairstyle. I mean, pretty much. If you think about it, look at all the girls that have had long hair their whole lives, but there's something about my hair being short that seems to go on or that short. It's highlighted. It's like done in the same way. It's never like you do like quirky curls or anything like you always do it the same style because that's what looks good. It seems to work. Yeah. It's easy. I mean, I wore it off my face that one time on Andy's show and it like flipped everybody out. It made the fucking papers. You know what I mean? It like was the headliner on the Daily Mail. I mean, come on. It's funny. Yeah. To me, it's just funny. And is it a wig? No, it's not. Everybody, I just touched it. You touched it. Um, of course you're going to ask me that. That storyline will just never die. And so, um, with a Vidal Sassoon girl who's coming on, how did she come about to get on the show? I don't know. Um, I had heard, you know, that's where the eyeglass store is up there. Right. So, I mean, I live up there and I saw that she'd opened a Pilates studio and I remember one day my daughter and I are peeking in going, oh, we should come take Pilates here. I didn't really know Eden. I just knew of her. So did you suggest her then for the show? No. I'd never even met her. So then all of a sudden they're like, we have this new girl that's going to be part of the show. You're going to go do Pilates with her and you're like, oh, my daughter, am I even thinking about getting a membership? Exactly. Like 100% that just like what you said, like Lisa, you're going to go here and you and Eric are going to go take Pilates at Eden's um, Pilates studio. I'm like, okay. So they were just trying her out basically because they decided to hire Dorit. She was up for it and they decided to hire Dorit instead of Eden as a full-time housewife. Okay. I'm told this. I think they thought maybe they needed a little more energy or a little more something. So they were still intrigued by Eden. So they wanted to see how she'd work with everybody. Right. Do you know what I mean? Okay. So that's how it began. So now in the future episodes she gets seen more? Yes. Because I have a connection with her and have a lot in common with her, it turns out. Oh. You'll see this way. But it doesn't involve Boy George. It does not involve Boy George. No. I mean, can we just talk about this whole thing? Okay. A lot of questions about Dorit. A lot of um... What do you think of Dorit? What do you think of the new energy and the new cast? The Dorit is, I think it's always good to bring in someone new. I think the new energy is so good. Because it's otherwise what are you going to do? So good. You know? And I feel the arguments that are happening are a little pushed and a little contrived and to be totally honest. And I think she is some... I think what happens is sometimes people come on and what I liked about Erica Jane, who came on my show, is she really didn't watch the show before. I know. And unfortunately I think it's very hard to find someone. Who's never seen it? That's never seen it. Because it's a show that's intriguing to people like us and our age. So most women love it. And so it'd be very rare that you'd find someone that's like, no, I mean occasionally I meet women that don't watch it. And I think that really works. But then I think oftentimes you get somebody and they've studied it. And it's like, ooh, I should make a big deal out of this and I should do that. I think you have a point. I think that if you can come on and be your authentic self and try not to create anything or push anything, that's the key to being a good housewife. Yeah. And it'll happen. It'll happen. But if you come on with a mindset of I need to be like this, it never works. That's my take on it. And Doreet has this weird accent. It's a little bit English. Sometimes it's a little Vietnamese. It's very strange. And I thought the funniest part about the first time they come to meet Lisa Vannepump for dinner is she's like, you know, I am not attracted to attractive people. You could give me the most gorgeous man on earth and I don't want him. That's why I love Pique. And Pique entered the room. I said, now that is someone for me because I don't like attractive people. I was like, holy shit. And then he's sitting there and he's like, we're watching it. My sons are like, um, oh my God, who is he married to? And I go, he's married to this girl in the red dress, you know, and it's like so great to watch shows with like kids like that. So then I know, right? They asked all these questions. Yeah. And she's like, I'm someone who when they, when I have a dinner party, I want everyone to have a wonderful time. Well, who wants people to have a horrible time? What is that? It's like, oh, that'd have a wonderful time. I'd hope you would. And it's all about, you know, it's bringing people together. And in this town, in this town, do they make you guys say this town a lot? They don't make you say anything. Well, I feel like her and Kyle say in this town. So much. I wonder why. And I'm like, why is like, you're trying to separate Beverly Hills so much from the other franchises because obviously it, I feel like Beverly Hills in New York does stand out. Obviously there is more wealth and fame than New Jersey and OC. It's a different kind of proof. It's a different vibe. But like, I'm just like really like in this town, you know, you need to have fresh flowers that I go through a lot of work for this. It's very, and then that car. And then when she's like, I mean, I know Boy George. Okay, no offense to Boy George. I know all the years to know about the crying kid. What the f- is he the eighth housewife? What is it? Who the fuck is like whacking off to Boy George at Propo? Like why are they so excited about it? I think he's perfectly nice. I, you know, I love Boy George. And I believe he- Boy George. Growing up, I mean, my God, it's Boy George. But I feel like people had to, in other people's confessions of talking about Boy George and I'm like, is some big thing happening with big Boy George in the season? All I know is he's on Celebrity Apprentice at the same time. So maybe there's some correlation there. I don't know. You know, like all of a sudden I just know that you'll see. Do you really want to hurt me? Now, um, now you thought Erica Jane was a little sexy in her video last year. Seems like you guys are fine this year. I love her. I have gotten to know her. I think we've gotten a chance to get to know one another. Yeah. Erica Jane. Yeah. Lisa Renna and I are both cast. That's good. I noticed that she's talking kind of like a 40s film star. I love it. I like it too. I think it's fabulous. I like it too. Oh my. You are fabulous and you've got the money to be fabulous. Why not be fabulous? Oh, so good. I know. I've really gotten close to Erica this season and we're having a lot of fun. We have fun together. We do. Do you think you are more obsessed with her than Eileen Davidson? Or is she the most obsessed with Erica Jane? You know, she was the most obsessed with Erica Jane, but I think now we've all become obsessed with Erica Jane. Okay. That's the truth. I think we've now all surpassed Eileen maybe. I don't know. It really does love Erica. Except not Doree. Doree doesn't necessarily love Erica. Or we'll see. Well, what do you think? Well, no, because I know, I know boy George. I don't know her. You know, iTunes hits. Darling, I didn't write it for you. You're good. I could just listen to you and sit. You could just do the show while we're sitting here. I basically did. Oh, show. You're so good. What about Vanderpump? How's everything going on with her? I'd like a fucking apology, Lisa. You know, it's like, what is she doing? You going to apologize to her? I did already. I don't remember. You apologized to her while you were dancing. I'm dancing. I said, sorry, it was hard on you. That's all she's getting. Now, just that right there. I've let it go. I've moved on. In the months in between of filming. Six months. There's six months in between. Six months. Who do you talk to? I talk to Eileen, Erica, and Kyle, those three. Okay. Who's left? Well, there's Vanderpump and Doreed and... Who's the other one? Who's the other one? Are we missing? Wait, there's me. Wait. Eileen, Erica, Kyle, Vanderpump, Doreed. That is it. That's it. There's only six of us. Okay. So you're on the left. Okay. And Eileen's a friend. Right. Okay. And she's just new. When did you finish the last day of filming? October. End of October. Did you have a Halloween blowout? It was not a Halloween blowout, but it's a party at somebody's house. But you don't wear costumes? No. We have a party coming up where we wear costumes. Well, of course. You always have to wear costumes. We have a Gatsby party. I think... Oh, Gatsby? You already had a Gatsby party. I know. I remember that's where we saw each other. Right. But you already had a Gatsby party. Kyle had one like two seasons ago. Well, I missed it because we have another one. We had a Mulan Rouge party. No. You had... Was there a Gatsby party? Okay. People that are fans of the show. Okay. Did we have one already? When Kyle had a lady sitter. The lady sitter who I love. Yes. He is now like doing news on E. He's great. I just saw him. Okay. He's great. He's great, isn't he? He put that party together. It was a small party. Everybody had to dress in, you know, 20s. Well, we do it again. Well, we're back. But now it's called the Gatsby party. Do you do a wig or do you wear your own hair for the Gatsby party? I do a wig. Okay. Because you can't. This can't be 20s. No, it can't. You can't. And so, are there more than 12 people at the party? Yes. It's a big party. Oh. It's a super big party. Why don't I get invited? I like to be an extra at a reality show, parties and weddings. I'm not sure why, but it was a big party. It was in Malibu and it was freezing cold. That sucks. It was tough. It was right out there on the bluff. I hate being outside freezing in an outfit. Your little toes are cold. We have no clothes on. But I mean, you know, we have to wear the 20s outfit. The little outfits and it's, we're on the dance floor. The dance floor is wet because it's right. We're like right off the ocean. Yeah. Up on the bluff. Who has the party? It's Kyle who has the party at one of Maurizio's properties. Oh, that's nice. Really beautiful. Did it sell after that or will it after we see it? It probably, it's huge. I mean, I think it's a lot of money. That's a good crossover marketing. It's gorgeous. Good for them. Well, they're smart. I don't care. Go for it. Are you kidding? What else? Why else would you do this show? Of course. Hello. You better have something to sell. You got to sell your goat cheese balls. You got to sell your dusters. You better sell something. And you got to sell your high end property. Right? You're stupid if you're not selling something. You are not doing it justice if you don't sell. You're going to sell. You're going to sell. Boy George. I think I, who knows? No, you have to sell something. You have to do something. Otherwise, why put yourself, why do the show? So when the show came up. Yeah. Was Harry Hamlin down for it? No. No. Don't you know the story? Harry Hamlin said, I will divorce you if you do the show. Swear to God. Even after you said, but Heather McDonald at Ross's book party says I should do it. Yeah. And he said, who the fuck is Heather McDonald? I will divorce you if you do the show. And I went, oh, okay. Then I, fine. And then I walked out of the room. That was it. And I was like, okay, we're not doing it. And then what happened? And then about 24 hours later, Harry Hamlin had thought about it. He'd had a long thought about it. And I had already started my QVC line. So I thought, hmm, as Harry Hamlin would do, you'd speak like this. I've been thinking about it and I think it may be a good marketing opportunity. Just like that. Yeah. I'm like, really? Yeah. I think we should think about it. I went, okay. So then he basically was his idea. And then once it was his idea, I ran with it. And I was like, okay, let's try it. Now let's be honest. Your Teresa Flipping Tables moment was broken glass. That's what you talk about my husband with Kim Richards. What was going through your head? I'll tell you, I'm going to be flat out honest about this moment. I would never have expected that to happen in a million years. We're in Amsterdam. We're jet lagged. You get off the plane. You're filmed. You're this, you're that. You go right to dinner. We sit down, not five minutes into that dinner. There hasn't been one ounce of alcohol poured like nothing that happens. She brings that up. She does that. I know. I know about your husband. She just provokes and provokes. And I just... Do you think that she saw the movie Making Love in 1981 and that's what she was getting at? I don't. I think she just made the fucker up. Just for shits and giggles, baby. And why did you get so incensed if it was just for shits and giggles? Well, I think she had already really just pissed me off. I was already just pissed off. She, we weren't speaking at that point. We'd had a moment where she just, you know, it was a little produced to me. It felt just a little too produced, you know. She came in with the agenda knowing. Yeah, of course. It wasn't organic. And I don't know. It just totally pressed my button. I didn't expect it, would not have guessed I would ever do anything like that. I was just flipping. And what did Harry think? Harry laughed. Harry thought it was funny. He laughed to this day. It didn't give him a boner. The way you just got so angry. He did like it. Like a mother bear. You are such a fucking rock star. He did like that. He loved that. Cause I mean, you know, it's pretty attractive. I think when you see your spouse stand up for you like that, right? I don't know. She just pissed me off. Like I just, you know, when somebody just presses your hand. Yeah. Yeah. There's some people that you're just never going to click with. Never. You're never going to click with. No. You con, there's times when you both want to, but you still can't like get in a groove of a conversation. It's like, you're just not. And then I think with her, you know, her problem with addiction and your history. And it's like, I have siblings that have had addiction problems and stuff. I'm not someone that has ever taken a Xanax or an Ambien. So I don't take that shit lightly. I don't think it's funny. And I think that's, you know, so it's like you're a little not tolerant of that bullshit. It was tricky to be honest with you. It was really tricky. And then she comes around again, right? She comes around next week. She come, they just drop her down from the sky. They like plop her down. I sit down at this party and they, she just plops down across from me. I'm like, oh, yeah. And just some shit go down. Well, you'll have to wait and see. I hope so. You've seen the preview. I hope so. You've seen the preview, haven't you? Yeah. But you know, you never know. Sometimes they trick you with the previews. I know. They did that twice with New Jersey. It really pissed me off. They acted like Teresa and Melissa were in a fight, but it was a joke. Or Teresa and Jaclyn, but it was like they were playing a prank on their husband. Oh, I don't like that. I thought that was a little too trickery. No, you can't be trickery like that. Yeah. So it's okay that I don't know who you're talking about, but it's a shit better be real anger when I see it on Tuesday. You'll see. You know, I think what I'm going into this year is I want to move on from that. Like I'm done with it. Like I don't want to go there. I don't want to rehash it. We've tried to rehash it so many times. You're right. I'm just done with it. I don't want to talk. I want to be nice. I want to be cordial. We don't have to be best friends. Nothing, but I want to try to move on. That's my goal. I think it's always hard with the Kyle element of it. The Kyle element is very tricky. It's super, super, super tricky because it just is, you know? Yeah, she's like a fuck. I mean, it's her sister. Period end of story. Like if I get into it with her sister, it's her sister. She's going to always stand behind her sister and rightfully so. Yeah. It does get, it gets messy at times, but I'm really trying to move forward and to somehow just be done with that, you know? Because you carry it with you. Well, Lisa, I feel like we got a lot of juicy scoop out of you today. I hope so. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Me too. Always so honest and fun. I want to follow in your footsteps. I want to sell stuff on QVC. It's so great. I want my sons to be models. Um, I want my husband to star as a gay man before it's time. Or wear a toga. Whatever it takes. Right. You're so cute. No, but great. So thank you so much. My pleasure. Everybody knows if they're not following her already, it's just your name, right? At Lisa Ren on Instagram, Lisa Ren on Twitter, Facebook. Of course, the show is Tuesday night. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo. Thanks. I'm going to be back with a new episode of the Highest Rated show. Second highest rated show last week of the entire seven years. That's awesome. Isn't that awesome? Yeah, that's great. It's really cool after seven years to have your second highest rated show. I think the first highest rated show was that episode where Kyle accuses Kim of being an alcoholic. I think that was my favorite thing. You stole my house. That was the first, I think, highest rated. That's pretty cool after seven years. Well, that's good. I mean, hopefully more and more people are discovering it and then get into it. And if you haven't, you can catch up. Well, I think it's great with new energy. We've got some new energy going and it's working. So I'm happy about that. Great. All right. Thanks, Heather. Well, I have so much to discuss on Patreon this week.
