But here's the thing. Bachelor fans hated him. If I could press a button and rewind it all, I would. That's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. Listen to Love Trapped on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Burden of Guilt Season 2 podcast. One of the biggest misconceptions about buying a home right now is that you have to wait for the perfect moment. Perfect rates, perfect timing, perfect market. The truth is, that moment doesn't really exist. A lot of buyers pause because of headlines or assumptions, but every situation is different. Race change, markets shift, and personal goals matter just as much as what's happening nationally. That's why talking to a local lender can be so valuable. Amen. Is that something people say? Is that a phrase? River folk are tough. Tough group of people. River folk? Yeah. So maybe we've got to do something else. Well, the Grange prisons and all those, they're behind the walls. They're not going to mess with us. We're looking for residents. They're allowed. No, those are the Grange people. They're part, they're a citizen of Oldham. that you could draw them. Sticking with Oldham. Is it LaGrange a federal prison, too? No. Okay. I like my odds with wealthy Oldham. You might be better off with federal prison, though, because those aren't necessarily violent crimes. You don't want the bads. Sorry. You also may draw Michael Bennett or Billy. Yeah, that's my point. I'm playing the odds here. Billy is from Oldham County. I mean, that's your answer right there. If you need any more evidence, exhibit A. 2-8-0, 22-8-0. One person says Jessamine is near Garrett County. If the Garrett County people cross state lines, you want no piece of them. Wow, is Garrett County really tough? Yeah, we're getting there, that area where I'm just staying away. Yeah. People like that. Before we get to the phones, a couple things here. We didn't do this yesterday, and I want to do it real quick because I like it. There was a question on social media. four fast food chain restaurants. You only get to have four in your town. Nothing else. You only get to have four in your town. And then that's it. Which four are you picking? So it's not necessarily your four favorite, but it's you're living in a town, and it's the only four you get a choice to have. So I thought about it. I'm going to give mine while you think about it. One is McDonald's because of the Diet Coke. That's it. I don't care about anything else. I just need that Diet Coke. It is my addiction. And breakfast, I could eat a meal there if I needed to. I need one thing that resembles health, okay, if that's all I'm going to have. So I'm going to say, like, you know, a McAllister's or a Jason's Deli, just so I can get something that is healthy. Chipotle because I eat it all the time and then I really don't consistently like any other place so I think I'm going to go Dairy Queen for the blizzards to offset the health to offset the health I wouldn't even put Dairy Queen in my top 10 fast food but the blizzard it would be nice in my community to have access to that so I'm going McDonald's, Chipotle Let's just say Jason's Deli, McAllister's, and then Dairy Queen. What about you, Rob? Chick-fil-A, number one. It's without a doubt my first pick. McDonald's is going to pick it also because of the breakfast. You and I both go to their lot for breakfast. They have the iced coffee, so when there's kind of convenient. You need to get away from that. Number three, I'm going Wendy's. I think they've got the best burger. They do have salads. They have the Coke machine. You eat a lot of Wendy's salads. Every now and then we get a grilled chicken salad from Wendy's on the drive-thru. That's nice. Okay. But the fourth one, I'm going non-healthy. You've got to have a pizza place. I'm going Domino's. Domino's Pizza. I think they have the best fast food pizza, delivery pizza. Domino's. Domino's. All right. What about you? I need a Taco Bell. Okay. I'm going to have one of those. But because they've gotten wildly inconsistent, I need a second Taco Bell. I need two Taco Bell locations. You need in case one of them is not doing well. Currently in Lexington, and I swear on everything, when I go get Taco Bell, I drive past two Taco Bells to go to another one because the two closest to me let me down. I'm not, I mean, I'm not. Easter's New Circle Road, excuse me. I drive past two McDonald's to go to the McDonald's. See? It's completely understandable. I agree with you. What are the other two? Taco John's. Got to have Taco John's. You're just Taco. Wow. Yeah. Okay. Come on. I honestly don't eat fast food, like burgers and stuff. I don't have a Wendy's. So, number four, I need to be healthy. As you said, I really tear those places up with the calories. So, Chipotle. So, I'm still in my category, but I can throw on some guac, a few veggies, maybe a lot of Mexican food there for you. You're only doing Mexican food. Yeah. That's my life. All right. Good deal. All right, Shannon. Two that have been mentioned, two that haven't. Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, and then In-N-Out Burger, I think, is a great choice. And then I'm keeping Fazoli's alive. You know I've got to put them on my list. Fazoli's coming in at number four. You've got to have that. You've got to have Fazoli's just to make sure it still exists. That's right. I'll have the only one left on the planet. Now, would no one pick, like, a fast, casual place like an Applebee's? I didn't know if those counted. I don't consider that a fast food. I'll let you put that. Would you take one of those out and put in an Applebee's? or O'Charlie's. I put a Chili's on there because you can get anything at Chili's. Their menu is huge. You can get anything you want. Same thing with Cheesecake Factory though. Cheesecake Factory. I hate that place. Way too many options. Nobody needs 30 pages on their menu. Really? I'm so indecisive. Give me five choices. That place, don't bring me the menu. Just bring me some piece of food because I don't need your book. Speaking of that, you and I are okay with, we learned on our trip that Mario and Billy, especially Billy, really hates the chef's tasting menu. Oh, yeah. Not chef's tasting menu. So we did a chef's tasting menu where they bring you and you can just try a bunch of stuff. Billy was angry at them. Billy was like, I should get to decide what I want. He stepped outside. He needed a moment. No, Billy got so mad he left the restaurant for a minute. Had to calm down. It's like when you take a kid outside. No, he is. You go to time out. Let me just say something. Traveling, Drew and I have learned. Shannon is not quite like this. But traveling with Ryan, Billy, and Mario is like traveling with children when it comes to food. No, it is. It is traveling with children. You have to make sure wherever you go has chicken fingers. You have to cut them up. And applesauce. You can't take them to a place unless there's mac and cheese, chicken fingers, and applesauce. They eat like children. And so Drew and I want to try these places. Shannon will begrudgingly go. I go along with it. I don't care. You do. But these three are like, do you have a burger? Like, this is Indian food. Do you have an Indian burger? We're in Chinatown, San Francisco. It's unbelievable with this group. I will say, Ryan eating the Indian food in Seattle, I thought that was a big step in our road trip journeys. It was a huge step. You liked it, but you at least agreed to go and try new things. We did a ramen restaurant and the Indian restaurant in Seattle. I liked both of them, actually. So, I've learned you have to always bring the chicken fingers. Who's next, Shannon? Bluegrass. Bluegrass. Go ahead. What's going on, fellas? What's up? It's been a while since I've called. You just called like last week. You called like last week. Yeah, but I was still a little bit positive. It's not been a while. You called last week. You always say it's been a while, and it's literally just a couple of days before. I was a little bit positive then. So, all right. Now, I'm not big on the rankings, but let's go through our Ken Palm rankings real quick. Like, you know we started out really good, right? You know, we were actually number one. By November 29th, we are 11th. So, we're still all right. by february 2nd we fell to 30th and do you know when we were 0 and 2 in sec we were still 30th but by time by time the 0 and 2 and right now we're 31st so that means all that up and down and up and down that we've done we're still just 30 and 31 i mean we didn't move anywhere so is that really who we are well that's because Is that who we are? Strength of schedule. I mean, there's a lot of things that go into Ken Palm. Strength of schedule. Ken Palm also measures your efficiency, offensive and defensive. So it's not – Ken Palm rankings at the beginning of the year are wildly inconsistent because you haven't played enough games. So now – I get that. I get that. Now it's more accurate. But what I'm saying is, is that what we are? 30, 31st? Is that more accurate about the team we are? I think this probably is. I appreciate the call. I think this probably is the 30th best team in the country. I think that's probably what we are. I mean, if that's what Kim Palm has us ranked, that feels, Ryan, to me about right as to what we are. I never thought this would be the case when the season started, especially after they looked so good against Purdue. We thought we were too deep at every position. I didn't see it coming. But do you agree? That's probably fair. Actually, it's probably right on the money. Yeah, I think they're 29th or 30th in the net, too. And then they didn't receive any. The AP poll is a bit of a joke but you outside that too Didn receive any votes this time So yeah I say 30 Yeah Sadly Well I say wait I want to talk about the fine Pope got here in just a second We didn't get to talk about that, but we'll do that next segment. Who's next? Allen. Allen. Go ahead, Allen. Hey, guys. Longtime listener, first-time caller. Who are you? Matt, I know you read and you seem to be a space exploration type guy and book guy. My dad actually worked for NASA in Huntsville, and we're huge UK fans, go to a lot of games. And a book I recommend is Challenger by Adam Figgins. Yeah, I have that. I have it. It was one of the ten best books of the year, one of those years. I have it, but I have not read it, but I do have it. Very good. It's a very good one. It's a chunk to get through, but a lot of cool stuff there. Anyway, super happy with the win last night, and hope we can go make a run in March. Go Cats. Appreciate the call. Yes. You know, for people my age, Challenger was a big thing. I mean, we were out of school because of the snow. It had snowed, so we were out of school, I remember, and I was watching the thing live, and when it exploded, because, you know, that teacher was on there, right? There was a teacher on there, and she was going to teach a class from the thing, and I think that's part of the reason it was such a big moment because at least when I was watching when it exploded. I remember the exact moment, exactly where I was when the news broke. Me too. It was very traumatic for all of America at that time. Yeah. I was by myself at home. I remember Larry saying, he was like going to the store or something, and he goes, I'm going to leave you here. You have to watch the space shuttle. Do not watch soap operas. He was worried I would see, like, sex on days of our lives. So I had to watch the other one. Instead, you see a big tragedy. Yeah. It's getting worse. Much worse. I would not have remembered the sex. I do remember distinctly the space shuttle exploding. You said it was 86. I guess I wouldn't have a memory of that, but I've seen the clip many times. Just a little bit before I was remembering things. Who's up next? Let's go to Marcus. Marcus. Go ahead, Marcus. Hey, Matt. I'm the diehard Duke fan that has called a few times. Yes. I was actually at the game last night. I sat behind the Kentucky bench. Okay. Because here in South Carolina, you know, attendance is terrible. But I went to the game last night. Two things I noticed. Now, granted, he had a better second half. But Diabate's energy is the energy that I would not want around my workforce, around anybody. Like, it's a disgusting energy. And I think it translates to him being on the floor. Second thing I noticed, if you look at the two overtime elite players, Jasper Jackson as well as Egon Ellis for South Carolina, they did a disservice by going OTE because it has really studded their development, and the game is really too fast for Jasper Johnson right now. But that's all I want to. Appreciate the call. Interesting. Yeah, I think there's something. Here's what I'll say about the first thing. I mean, I'm not around the team enough to know that. I think that was certainly an issue early in the year with him. I've heard that it has gotten better. Now, obviously, you were there yesterday, so you would know better than me. that was definitely an issue early in the year without question. But I do think in the last three or four weeks that has gotten better. Hopefully it continues to. It's weird because he plays a certain way. But there have been complaints about the other stuff. Well, they need him. I mean, I still think he needs to be a very valuable member if they're going to try to win a couple of these games into the season and do something in March. They need him. That's why, you know, you bring him to Kentucky for those moments. Since my voice is struggling, tell me about court physical therapy. Yeah, I've done this ad for five years on this show. Let's see how well he's been paying attention. Court physical therapy, they've got locations all across the state. How many do they have? I believe it's 72. Close enough. Ish. Okay. And they've got one just near you. There's one right down the street from here that I've been to. Drew's been to court physical therapy. Why would I go there, though? Well, I had to go because of my vertigo. I didn't even think about that, but they helped me in my rehab from my vertigo episodes that I was having. They can do all kinds of things for you to help you feel better. Like what? Live better. Sleep better. Like what? You know, physical therapy stuff. Yeah. You know, you go to court.com. They'll tell you about it. It's K-O-R-T.com. It's K-O-R-T.com. Court.com. That's right. Find out why it's the best in rehab. Find out. Go to court.com. K-O-R-T.com. Yeah, good enough. We'll take a break. Be right back. It's Kentucky Sports Radio. In 2023, a story gripped the U.K., evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict? A villain? A nurse named Lucy Letby. Lucy Letby has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the whole story? The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox and in the new podcast Doubt the Case of Lucy Letby we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was No voicing of any skepticism or doubt It'll cause so much harm at every single level if the British establishment of this is wrong Listen to Doubt the Case of Lucy Letby on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Burden of Guilt Season 2 podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpright became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Jermaine Hudson as the perpetrator. Jermaine was sentenced to 99 years. I'm like, Lord, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity. The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first Bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it all, I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines. It began as a one-night stand and ended in a courtroom, with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you. Please search for it. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. First of all, shout out the lady here who works with the Dream Factory. They do great work here in Lexington. They have a gala coming up this year. Also, shout out to Wild Eggs. It's Wild Eggs Wednesday. If you remember, Ryan has a trivia word that you have to unscramble. In week one, he already created controversy by having a word that was two words. week one how did I get blamed for this it's your bit the whole point is you pick one word and he has two words but this week Shannon he has said he's going to keep it to one word as the rules say is it one word Mario he doesn't even know nevertheless we're putting it out right now it is on Mario's Twitter KSR the show Twitter KSR the show, Twitter. KSR the show. First person to respond with the correct answer will win a $50 gift certificate. The Wild Exit has just gone up, and I haven't looked at it yet. I haven't either. You are supposed to act like you're the one that comes up with these. Do you not understand this? No, that's Mario's job. He's in on this also. No, Mario's job is to tweet it out. It's your job to come up with the word, allegedly. I would gladly come up with the word. I would clearly have already showcased that that is not happening. Let me come up with a couple of the words. We'll have some good ones. It'll be cat. How do you spell pow, chicka, pow, pow? Maybe we know why he's not picking the words. I should not pick the words. One person writes, Matt, are you excited about baseball? I saw you watching a spring training game. Very excited. Summer of LA is about to take off, too. Watched a minor – I watched a spring training game. I'm excited about my team. I can't believe it's that time of year already. I know. I'd like to go to spring training at some point. I think it would be fun. Went to a couple spring training games. You know, you sit anywhere. There's never a big crowd or anything, and it's kind of a lax environment. I love it. Yeah. But you're Reds with Ellie and Suarez back-to-back in the lineup. Ellie weighs 15 more pounds. Oh, is that going to slow him down? No, it's going to make him hit a lot. The last game, he hit home run, and then Suarez hit home run back-to-back. And I was like, there we go. That's where we were. Somervelli and Eugenio. I haven't picked a player I hate yet. I have some contenders. But I'm excited. I think our bullpen is going to make me want to punch somebody. But otherwise, good starting rotation, good players. There's somebody got named Bidet, which I think is an unfortunate name for a person. But otherwise, I'm excited about the team. Is Chase Burns a starter or is he in the bullpen? I'd start him. He throws like 140. Amen. So if you're going to throw 140, I think you need to start. It's a record. Sounds like – I was about to say I feel this joy that you get when the record's 0-0. Then you said you want to punch somebody in the bullpen and you have a few guys you've already picked out that you might hate. Yeah. So maybe we're already turning towards negative town here. No, we're positive. We're positive. I need little Spencer Steer to play better. Matt McClain, it's big that he plays well. Sal Stewart has a mustache, which I like. So there's some things there going for. That's exciting. You know, we got Ball over here across campus today, too. That's right. Proud Park. They play Murray. Hilltoppers. Western Kentucky. Play Western. It was supposed to be yesterday and got pushed back. Yeah. We've lost a couple games to bad teams. Are we still okay? I hope so. The Tyler Bell loss was big, even though his backup stepped up. But they did lose one to Evansville last weekend. They lost to Moorhead. We're 0-1 at home. But, you know, Moorhead, you've got to give Moorhead credit. Beat Kentucky and won two of three against Louisville. So maybe Moorhead's just a unit. Best team of the state. Yeah, maybe so. 859-280-2287. Let's talk about the Pope fine for a minute. Pope gets fined, what, $25,000 for his antics. What did you think of the decision by the SEC? I expected it the moment he pulled that move on Saturday. I know he was trying to work a little loophole there. and claimed that he wasn't saying into the microphone or blaming the refs. But I think he put on such a show and used some words, or at least shortened some words that he shouldn't say. So I knew it was coming. I don't know where $25,000 fits in the range of fines, but I figured he would get something. Yeah. I mean, he was going to get fined. Like, you know, I mean, he did it two seconds after the press conference. He was going to get fined. I saw it coming. We all knew he was going to get fined. But here's the question. What if those doors were closed and he did it behind closed doors? People had to hear it out in the hallway. Like if he did it in the locker room and you're standing outside the locker room and he says something like that. Well I mean I don think there any rule that you only get fined if it an official conversation behind a microphone I mean if he gets recorded blasting the officials I mean, let's say he does, let's say he's in this restaurant and he's just talking to these people and somebody films it and he's blasting the referees, he's going to get a fine. I mean, I think that's just what it is. Now, do I think it's ridiculous that people get fined for blasting officials? Yes, you can criticize anyone in the world except the dainty little officials. No, I'm serious. There's a quote that's like, and again, this is an exaggeration, but there's like a quote I think I read once. If you want to know who the oppressors are, look at who you're not allowed to criticize. Now, that's a little exaggerated. But when you start banning criticism of someone, you are sort of saying, like, we can criticize everyone but the officials. So I've always thought that was ridiculous. I agree. I still think they should have to do a press conference. I mean, if an 18-year-old that went 0 for 7 from 3 has to sit up there and answer questions about how he missed shots, let's let the adult in the room that's done it for 25 years explain why he missed a call. I mean, why is it that coaches are allowed to say, my players don't deserve to wear the uniform, but you can't say, hey, Courtney Green, you might have been out of position on that call. Don't do that, Matt. That's fine. Now, mother effers was probably not the thing for him to say. Not the best word choice. But, you know. I will say this. It was the backhanded, like, I didn't say they cheated. Like, he was really emphasizing the cheating. He knew what he was getting into. I will say this. We said for several years, we wanted our coach to care and not. Well, he definitely cares. Definitely cares. And I want that. I want my coach to hurt when I'm hurting. I did wonder, $25,000 seems like an arbitrary amount. You think it was worth it to him? You think he's like, I'm glad I did it? If he had just said it to the mic, I think he had that. They should have really gotten his money's worth. Yeah, he did get his money's worth. Well, he should have just finished the word. We'll be right back. TJ Smith, personal injury attorney. Call TJ. He'll make him pay. Now, more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. Welcome back. Kentucky Sports Radio, 859-280-2287. 2287, it is Wings Day. Nice little group of people here eating the food. What do you got, a salad there? He's being healthy. Good. Good. Glad you like it. Thank you. We do need to talk, Shannon, about the AI news, about the vacuum cleaners, because it has me concerned. You're going to have to fill me in here. Two pieces of AI news that really concern me. Number one, they've been running war game simulations. Have you seen this headline? So, like, war games is like when you, you know, the military will, like, play out scenarios and what would happen, et cetera. So they've been doing these war game simulations about what would happen if AI made all the decisions for the militaries. Yeah. 95% of all war games where AI runs the decisions end up in nuclear war. That's not good. Goodness. So that's not good. So everybody who's thinking about it, just remember that. That sounds bad. But that's in the future. Let's talk about right now. So they have these vacuums, okay, that are AI-controlled vacuums. Basically, some people may have this. It's a full vacuum. It's not one of those little things. But they'll go in your house, and it'll just automatically vacuum your house, right? Like a Roomba? It's like a Roomba, but nice, nice. I don't know. It does other things. It'll also clean your wall. It's like a whole thing. I don't know the specifics of the vacuum. But what happened is this guy, some kid, wanted to use the vacuum with a joystick so he could be somewhere else and then, like, just for fun, joystick it around his house. All right? So he put something in there. So basically he made a little tweak to the code so that he thought he could do that. But what he didn't realize is he also was able, by doing that, to access the camera in every vacuum. and he all of a sudden had a feed of 15,000 people's homes. Oh, my. Looking through the camera of their vacuum. He had audio, too. And he had audio. So he could see and hear everyone that had this kind of vacuum. He had, by one little tweak, he was able to look inside everyone's home. Now, this person was actually a good person. He called up the thing and said, hey, just so you know, I'm able to do this. and now they fixed it. But what worries me is this was just some dude. This wasn't like a hacker. This wasn't like a foreign country. He just was messing around and ended up just all of a sudden being able to see into 15,000 people's house. Troublesome. If somebody could do that when they're not even trying, imagine what somebody who was a professional hacker could do. Exactly. And you also may say maybe this is already like, you know, this guy turned it in. I mean, if he hadn't, we wouldn't even know. Those 15,000 people would just have a permanent camera and microphone in their house. I find it hard to believe he's the first guy to come up with this and discover it. I think there's probably others out there that knew it long before this. Thankfully, he was a good guy to turn it in so they can stop it, figure out a way to stop people from doing it. Yeah, and they're trying to pass legislation right now in Congress that would restrict states from regulating AI at all, Which is like, I feel like the whole world should rise up against that. Forget partisanship. Like, do you really want to have any industry that can have no regulation, especially one that can send us to nuclear war? We might need a little regulation, right? Yeah, and I think about the Super Bowl ring commercial. Everybody's like, oh, rings can help you find your dog now. And I'm like, why does our ring know dog faces? And if they know dog faces, they know human faces. And why does my doorbell need to know all the human faces? Yes. I mean, it's a great question. So I saw that, Shannon, and I know it's just a vacuum. The good thing for me is I don't own a vacuum, so it doesn't apply to me. But nevertheless, that is trouble. I've got one of those little Roombas, probably not what you're talking about there, but I don't know if that has like an eye on it or a camera or how that even works. Whatever this was was some kind of vacuum that had an eye on it, I don't know the details of what the vacuum was. You can look up the story. It was – it's all – I listened to a podcast. It was on fresh air. All right. If you are like me and you are AI ignorant, okay, I listened to a podcast on fresh air last week, and it was a guy who writes for a magazine who has been the – I think at the Atlantic. He's been their AI reporter for like the last 10 years. And he said his vision has always been the same. He was like, you know, AI is going to be important, but everybody's exaggerating how important it's going to be. He was like, that's been my theory for a decade. And then when they assigned him to do the latest story, which the question was, can AI have, like, human thoughts? Because he basically, the way he explained it was, AI is really good at, here's a bunch of information. What's the information you're looking for? I'm going to make it like a search engine but better but he was like I never really thought AI would be able to think and like be sad and be happy and be angry and thus act out of anger and he was like I always thought that was stupid and he goes now I don't he goes they've made so many changes and he uses these examples of all these stories that are like whoa it's only like an hour and it was maybe last week on Fresh Air, just their AI episode. I highly recommend it because it made me, I'm already concerned, and it made me like, oh, no. Just earlier this month I saw, I was at some conference in, I think, London. This woman's being interviewed, and the guy's like, is it true that one of your AI models, when the operator tried to turn it off, it tried to blackmail him? And she's like, yeah. And then he's like, is it true that it tried to kill him? And she's like, oh, yes. This may have been the same article. So they put this thing in a company. They put this thing to monitor people's emails. And as it's gotten more and more developed, all of a sudden the AI on its own started realizing two of the people at the company were having an affair. And tried to blackmail them. I've seen that one too. Have you seen this? No. What a tattletale. Tried to blackmail the people and said, I know what's happened, because they were like, we don't like this. So basically the CEO was like, we think this is a little intrusive. We're just going to unplug this, and we're not going to use it anymore. And the AI realized that they were threatening to unplug it and started to threaten to blackmail employees that if they did not get it, would email the whole company and say they were having an affair. Think about that for a minute. That is crazy. I can't even comprehend how artificial intelligence can have emotions. It could tell by the emails they were considering getting rid of the system. And it was like, okay, if you get rid of me, I'm going to say that you're sleeping with so-and-so. I mean, that's like, how does that not terrify people? Have you seen the AI social media that humans can read but can't participate in? Yes, they have their own, like, Reddit for AI people. So, again, this sounds so insane, but they have all these. He talks about this, too. There's a Reddit where all these AI bots talk to each other. And he was like, within an hour, they're all trying to plan how they're going to take over humanity. Yeah, there's a social media one where there's like, my guy yelled at me today. His social security number is blah, blah, blah. Here's his address. It's like, I'm not putting up with this. He keeps yelling at me. It reads like you're just reading someone's Facebook, but it's just a bunch of robots. Yeah. I'm telling you, man. It's scary. It should, people, people should be, all you need to do if you want to be really scared is go look at the freak shows that run these companies. Just, just watch one interview with the guy who runs Palantir. All right? He's like, he looks like Einstein if Einstein was a, like, little pencil dork. And like 40. Dude, just go watch an interview with him. He is the, like, that person's going to decide humanity? He's a freak. I don't know his name. Peter Thiel. No, he's a freak, too. He may not be who I'm talking about. Sam Altman? No, I know him, too. They're both problems, though. They both stink. This guy's worse. This guy's worse than them, and they're both awful. That's hard to do. And they're both running. Peter Thiel is awful. This guy might be worse. So, all right, I'll shut up. Who's next? I think your left vocal cord is making a comeback, by the way. It's sounding good. It's starting to hit those high notes again. I've got to fight back against these things. Let's go to Satchel. Satchel. Satchel, what a great name. Go ahead, Satchel. Yes, thanks for taking my call. Usually a podcast listener, so sorry to change the direction of the conversation, but you were talking about yesterday the strange stories about former U.K. coaches, and I need to get this out into the ether. I used to deliver pizzas for Little Caesars over on Duke Road. And the owner, who's a friend of my parents, that's how I got the job, he was also a booster and used to give free pizza coupons to Pitino. And he would use them almost every weekend. And now the pizza was free, but as you may remember, there was a $1.50 delivery charge, even back in the 90s when I was working there. And so when I would deliver, he usually paid with a 20. One time, even paid with $2 and waited for his 50 cents change. Rick Pitino did not wait for 50 cents. Are you an AI bot? I don't believe you. Never, never one single time did he give a tip. Wow. To counterbalance that, his nanny knew that he did this. so when she was the one who answered the door, which was probably less than half the time. She would tip more? Way less than half. Well, she'd give us like 20 bucks or something like that. Yeah, that's the thing. A lot of times, and I appreciate the call, and this is true at this restaurant too, it's not necessarily people's net worth that decides the amount they tip. I've learned that over the years. Like rich people don't necessarily tip more. The people who are the most consistent tippers are people who've worked in the industry before. I mean, they're not listening to me, but I bet our servers would agree with that. Yes. I used to work in Malone's. I've waited on some big games. What's odd is when a team comes into town, like LSU or Texas for football, their people tip the most, which you would think we're in an opposing territory, but that's just interesting psychology. I think everybody at once in their life should work in the food industry to appreciate the job that servers do and bartenders and cooks and everybody. Cornbread Hemp. Host. If you need to rest. He was looking at it like we didn't mention him. You can think after talking for two hours. It's hulking up. It is hulking up, that's right. You're a gamer. We'll take a break. Be right back. It's KSR. In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was. No voicing of any skepticism or doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level if the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to Doubt, The Case of Lucy Letby on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Burden of Guilt Season 2 podcast. Listen to Burden of Guilt Season 2 on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clayton Eckerd, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it, all I would. This is Love Trapped. This season, an epic battle of he said, she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. I have done nothing except get pregnant by the f***ing bachelor. Text machine 772-774-5254. Middlesboro's in the house. That's what I like to see. Shout out. One person writes, Matt, you always talk about the negative AI. What about the positive? He does talk about positive. One of the things that he says in there that's positive is he says diseases that don't get enough funding because not enough people have them or they don't – the AI can do the research on those diseases that otherwise wouldn't get research done. So, like, there are obviously positive things. The guy's name is Alex Karp, and I'm telling you, if you want to be, like, not just freaked out, but if you want to see our future, Go watch an interview with that dude. He is insane, and he is running Palantir, which is who does the defense department and stuff. Alex Karp, he and Peter Thiel are the two scariest people on the planet. I think they're the co-founders, right? I think they were. They're the two scariest people on the planet. Like I said, the scary thing is if he's concerned and he's worried, we all should be shaking in our boots. And they both look like they're on coke all the time. No, he's not concerned and worried. He seems to be a guy that doesn't care if there's humans. No, he's for it. These two people are like, they're the people who go, we need to move beyond human. Like, these two people are crazy. Just go, you don't have to take my word for it. Just go listen to their own words in a conversation. That Peter Thiel, he did an interview with the New York Times, like a video podcast. Oh, my goodness. All right, enough of me. Who's next? Dave. Dave. Go ahead, Dave. All right, man. You know, I really didn't have a problem with Auburn or Stephen Pearl until the game the other night with the foul. It's obvious that that was something that was coached. Yes, it was. Yeah, they automatically go onto the suck list for that play. Let me ask you a question. You're right. That was coached, the flop. Stephen Pearl told him to do that. If you were a coach in that same situation, would you tell your player to do it? No, I would not. I mean, I understand the game aspect of sports and basketball, but to me, that's why Duke is so hated. I think that's just a line in the sand for me, and no, I absolutely wouldn't. Real quick, second thing, on some of the player issues that we're having, I still think that before Trent Noah leaves here, that he will play a valuable role in Kentucky basketball. Brandon Garrison's awful, and I think Jasper Johnson probably leaves after the year. And thirdly, real quick, I don't like the body language of Otega Owe. I don't like the foul with 14 seconds left. Let me ask you a question. You're being harsh to Garrison and Jasper and Owe, and I'm not saying that's not fair. And I love the kid, But what has Trent Noah done to make you think he's going to be a major contributor here? Okay. I mean, look, I am all for being critical because these guys make money now. But, you know, if you're going to be upset at Jasper for not playing well, Trent's not played well either. Like, what's the, you know, what's the difference? I mean, take the worries from, take the emotions out. If you have a guy on your team who's gone a month without making a shot, I mean, that's crazy. That's not great. I don't care who they are. That's not good. Yeah. And I want Trent to succeed, and I'd love to have him back. I'm not trying to push these kids out. But, like, he hasn't made a basket in a month. And now his thing on the floor was you can't leave him open. And now you can leave him open. He's supposed to create the space that helps Owe and everything else. It's not a coincidence that when Yelevich and Noah start out 0 for 8 from 3, it's not a coincidence that Aberdeen and Owe are having a hard time getting the basket because their men don't feel like they need to guard those guys. It's so frustrating. I think we all know it's there. We've seen it. So what's the problem now? They should be finding their groove going into March, and a couple of those guys seem to be going backwards. And it was clear, South Carolina's game plan was, we're not losing to Owe and Chandler. Yep. If anybody else wants to beat us, that's fine. And thankfully Aberdeen and Diabate made plays. They didn't account for Diabate turning into something. Because their mindset was Chandler's not getting open and we're doubling Owe every time he gets it. And that's kind of what they did. And even Aberdeen's buckets, some of those threes, he just stepped up and drilled one. I mean, one was contested. I mean, they were guarding him pretty well too. He just made the plays. That one he just ran across. He did like a Tayshaun. No hesitation. That's right. All right, let's do DraftKings. Good to see you folks. DraftKings.com. Use the promo code KSR. Use the app, Bet5. What do you think? Has St. John's not lost since we beat him? Is that right? St. John's is 22-5. I think they've lost one. They've lost one conference game. One conference game. I mean, where is the game? At UConn. Man. I think UConn lost to St. John's earlier. St. John's beat them at the Garden. This is at their place. UConn wins big for me. I can't pick against UConn at UConn, but I'm excited about watching the game tonight. I'm going to go UConn. What do you got? I would love for St. John's to win, but I think Connecticut wins, unfortunately. Here's what stinks about this game. Great game, only on Peacock. Oh, it is. Who even – Boop boop, dude. Texas A&M and Arkansas. Arkansas is tough at home, buddy. We're the only team to beat them at home this year. Arkansas is an eight-and-a-half point favorite. Give me A&M to cover. Oh, wow. Yeah, that's too many points. Eight and a half is too many. Arkansas is winning, though. We were pretty blessed to have their bad game. I know Kentucky played a role in making them have a bad game, but they've been pretty hot since then. Shannon? Yeah, give me Arkansas at home, but I don't think they cover. All right, so tomorrow we are here as well. Come see us. Hopefully I'll be 100% by then. And then Friday in Madisonville. Where are we in Madisonville? The return of Drew. At the Kentucky Sports Factory. They're doing a half-court shot for $10,000. What? Yeah. Somebody can win $10,000. Somebody can win $10,000. Yes, it's like a basketball complex. $10,000? Yeah, we're going to be balling. Maybe you'll hit it. Wow. All kinds of fun activities in the best town on Earth. Well, you've got to be ready Friday. See you.
