Donald Trump proclaims we are going to invade Carg Island in any minute, then Donald Trump proclaims we have a deal with Iran, then Donald Trump proclaims the stock market that he's manipulating loves his deal, then Donald Trump proclaims he loves inflation, he loves every aspect of inflation, it's all part of the plan. And we learned that Donald Trump needed 22 specialists and doctors for his physical. I think we all intuitively knew that when we saw his behavior and his cognitive and physical decline before us. Inflation despite Donald Trump loving it is not beloved by the American people. The producer price index is surging, the consumer price index is surging, the American people are suffering as inflation continues to rise. And then the Trump regime has handled the World Cup just about how we thought they would, banning Somalian referees, preventing fans from African countries from showing up and just behaving so horribly in front of the world. I mean, even Russia and Qatar didn't do anything like the United States is doing. And it's such contrast to what we see in Mexico, in Canada. It's just, it's really pathetic to watch. But we're gonna break down all this and more on the Midas Touch podcast. I'm Ben Mysel has joined by Brett and Jordy. And so quite the swing from Donald Trump saying an invasion of Carg Island is imminent to now we have a deal and then Iran said, we don't really know about this. We haven't really approved it yet. Although then as the day progressed, they said, well, we're actually contemplating it now. Israel says, we're not a signatory to this deal. We're gonna keep on attacking Lebanon. And then Israel tried to mischaracterize the terms of the kind of purported deal that's taking place. More of that going on, brothers and Midas Mighty. A whole lot of that, a whole lot of whiplash today. As we've been accustomed to though, I mean, if you've been following this, it's been whiplashed the entire time. Trump says something, then he takes it back. Iran denies it, Israel denies it. It's been this tit for tat weird back and forth the entire time, which is what makes it so hard to cover. But you know, that's why we try to break through the noise and figure out what is actually happening. Brothers, great to be here as always. Great to be here with you, Midas Mighty. And I wanna give a shout out to the Midas Mighty up top and thank everybody for the incredible birthday wishes. My birthday was yesterday. So many of you reached out and DMs and tweets and blue sky posts and throughout all the above. And so I just wanna say thank you, thank you so much. I had an absolute great day capped off by that incredible New York Knicks win. It's just like something like apolitical, you know, to focus on a little bit that brings everybody together. There aren't a lot of moments like that in 2026. And so I think that's pretty cool. It's actually fascinating looking through kind of the Twitter feed yesterday and seeing people of all kind of political backgrounds, you know, excited about the game. Like I saw, you know, everyone from people we all know to like Erica Kirk and people being like, holy crap, that's, you know, and when you see that, you're like, oh yes, there was a world before all this where people actually watched cultural events together and weren't in this disastrous world created by Donald Trump of this gaslighting and this endless war and chaos that we're experiencing every single day. But hey, that's what we're here to combat. That's what we're here to dig ourselves out of. Jordy, it's great to see you. What's the latest? Great to see you, brothers. Great to see you, Midas, Mighty Bread. I think that world you were referring to is 2015. Great world, great world indeed. Benji, where are we starting off today, big bro? Well, the bread, I think one group of people that it didn't bring together were San Antonio Spurs fans. So I just wanna, just wanna empathize and just say, hey, being a Nick fan for all your life, when they haven't won since 1973, you could just let Nick fans just have a moment. But Brett, I guess- Just let us have this. Let us have this one little moment. I mean, and it has a moment. But as you said, Brett, there was a time, I think, when people could come together more as Americans or sports fans and just enjoy things in a non-political way and Donald Trump ruined all of that. I mean, he quite literally ruined it by going to game three. And his whole behavior there is symbolic of his behavior generally, right? The way he shows up, they have to shut down the joyous watch parties that are taking place outside, the non-political joyous watch parties. He makes it inconvenient for everybody. They have to set up basically, as I think Brett, as you said, I guess they did doldewall. They had to build like a fortress around Madison Square Garden. They shut down five blocks and two avenues. And then the Trump oligarchy shows up and they get preferential treatment, right? They cut the line and you see Jared Kushner and the whole crew, they just walk right in while Nick fans have to wait. Then he goes to the game and then what does he do? He stuffs his face with like burgers and fries and hot dogs. Dude probably ate like three burgers, two pieces of pizza, hot dogs, right? He throws the trash on- Like a very hungry caterpillar. He throws on the floor. And then the symbolic of everything. Then he falls asleep, doesn't even like enjoy the game after destroying the experience for so many people. Then he leaves seven minutes early and then the Knicks lose. If that's not a metaphor or a symbolism of kind of what this guy does, and you could branch this out as we talk about this episode, he wants to inject himself into sporting events and cultural moments because those things are not about him. That's why on national holidays and that's why on big sporting events, he wants it to be about him even when and often does make everybody's life miserable about things. I mean, even basic things like commemorating D-Day, they turn into a, we're going to attack our European allies and blame them for invasion of immigrants. It's like, come on, what are you doing? Whenever there's a memorial day or you name the holiday, he always starts off with some just nasty post about his political enemies and this and that. And he always wants to make it about himself. And even when there are protests about him, he wants to have his military parades around the same time or whatever it is. And we see that time and time again. And that's why he also wants to turn Washington, DC, the White House, the symbols of our democracy into like some Trumpian dystopian junkyard. And as we head into this weekend where he wants to do this UFC fight and this and that and the claw and it's like sponsored by crypto and by all these corporations. And then he does deals with right wing oligarchs. And if you want to watch the fight, you have to pay like subscription fees to streaming services. And then, you know, the UFC is responsible for the press list. And they're the ones, they're selling million dollar tickets for right wing oligarchs if they want access to him. It's just very Trumpian. He wants to suck the lifeblood out of it. And when we talk in this episode a little bit later about the World Cup, for example, as well, you know, it just, you will want the government to have a very light touch to no touch on things like this, support it, but stay out, stay out government, you know, just like this isn't your role. Let sports be sports. But I could tell you from firsthand experience, you know, when I used to be a lawyer and I represented Colin Kaepernick, one of the first things Donald Trump did in his first term, Huntsville, Alabama, get that son of a bitch off the field and made Colin Kaepernick kneeling, which was universally supported at that originally for showing the protest to police brutality. Trump turned it into a culture war issue. And I think about that moment as really one of the kind of forays in the beginning into Trump saying, I'm going to go after private people. I'm going to go after sports and I'm going to inject my MAGA politics of hatred into things that should be bringing people together. Because to me, MAGA, the more people are divided, the less people can coalesce around common American values, which would very frequently be to vote out the MAGA fear mongers and to push these people out. And so as I think about the way the US is behaving in the World Cup and banning the Somali referee, Omar and Tan, you know, treating fans of African nations, banning them, denying visas to support staff of teams, and then calling them terrorists. Right? Then you had the Trump regime go out and say, yeah, you know, these people have bad backgrounds and they're terrorists and they, you know, our investigation shows that they're, you know, up to no good and that's why we're banning them. And then you have Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, who was pretending to basically be like a world leader. He gave Trump a fake peace prize and he was rubbing shoulders with Kings, Princes, Prime Ministers, Presidents. He'd be on the stage for the fake world peace board and giving the fake world peace prize. And now it was like, everybody, we just need to chill. Everybody, let's just relax. Just relax, everybody. There's nothing I can do. I'm not a king. I'm not a world leader. There's nothing I can do about any of this. I'm a soccer. This is just soccer, really? Because you sure as hell politicized all of this. And now when you're being called out for what's going on in America, you're just like, eh, nothing I can do, nothing I, yeah, there is something you can do. You could show leadership and character and say, okay, then no refs get to ref. If we don't get this ref, we don't get to be racist against Somalians in FIFA. If FIFA truly cares, or you say, you know what? You do this, America will never be chosen again to host. It's in such contrast to what we're seeing in Mexico, what we're seeing in Canada. In Mexico, they've got the mariachis, they've got the people greeting the teams, hugging them, going out. And you see the Mexican people partying with the teams. And I see the South Korean fans doing keg stands with the Mexican fans. Like there's a real pride in being the host and using sports as a tool of love and camaraderie and bringing people together. And I contrast that with like the US treating the Uzbekistan team like they're like absolute criminals doing like cavity searches of the Senegalese team. And it's just, you know, like people love soccer and FIFA and not the organization. They love watching the game and the love of the game. That will always exist. But it certainly leaves a very bad taste in your mouth to see all of this blatant kind of racism and hatred, you know, over there. And then also to see a warmongering regime as a host nation in this situation. And it's like there's responsibilities that come with the host nation in order to bring people together. And so I want to say that at the top. And then I want to just talk about what's transpired over the past, you know what, six, seven hours. I mean, you wake up in the morning and Donald Trump posts the United States will be hitting Iran whose Navy Air Force radar anti-aircraft and all their forms of defense are gone. Very hard tonight. At some point we'll take Carg Island just like Venezuela. It's working brilliantly in Venezuela. Donald J. Trump. So you have that going on. And then quite literally four and a half hours later, he then posts, well he says that the attack is imminent. He calls up state regime, Media Fox tells them the attack is imminent. And then he says based on the fact that the discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved. I have as president of the United States canceled the schedule strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. Discussions and final points have been in both concept in great detail, approved by all parties involved, including the U.S., Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and others. The naval blockade will remain in full force and effect until this transaction is finalized. Time and place of the signing to be announced. Then Israel went to their media, Netanyahu and others, said we never heard about this. We're not a part of this deal, which is obviously contradictory to what Trump says. A senior Israeli official told channel 12, they're not aware, they don't know what Trump is talking about. Iran at first said we're not really sure what he's talking about. But there was a draft agreement going around that Qatar was trying to help facilitate. But then what seemed to have taken place is Trump did this unilaterally, as he saw the markets crashing, as he saw the bond yields surging, as he got the inflation reports, it seems that Trump then kind of unilaterally adopted the draft that the Qataris presented as an approved Iranian draft two weeks ago. And when Trump tried to change the terms two weeks ago, Iran said we're not even gonna talk to you, you just accept this or not. So then it seems that what happened is as the American economy markets were tanking, right as we have this Elon Musk SpaceX IPO, as the CPI inflation numbers came out 4.2%, as the PPI inflation came out, month over month increase of 1.1% to six, what was it, 6.5% year over year, 4.2% CPI year over year, you saw the markets tanking, bond yields soaring, all of the major banks started saying, we're heading into a bear market, we're heading into a recession. It seems that Donald Trump went back to the Qatari draft from two weeks ago, I want that one, I want that one, that's what I'm doing, that caught Netanyahu off guard, Israel said we're not a part of this afterwards. Once Israel was read into what the deal was, Netanyahu then tried to be like, I'm not a part of this, and we're confident that Donald Trump is not gonna allow Iran to do certain things with its enriched uranium, and that Donald Trump will ensure that the proxy groups in Lebanon like Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen, that they will not be allowed to have support from Iran, which we know Iran has made it very clear from the outset that security guarantees apply to Lebanon, and it applies to Yemen, and applies to the Iraqi militia groups that are supportive of the Iranian regime, that Iran's not agreeing to turn over its nuclear arsenal, rather it's nuclear enrichment capabilities, not its arsenal. Iran has always made clear it's not going to build in like a nuclear weapon arsenal, that's, they're fine with a JCPOA style deal. In fact, the previous Ayatollah had a Fatwa that said, we're not doing nuclear weapons, and there was no imminent nuclear weapon issue when the US followed Netanyahu into this invasion in the first place, but I guess this now feels a little different in the sense at least that Iran acknowledges that there is something out there, they still say it had to be approved by its version of a National Security Council, and so they're having the US kind of sweat it out a little bit, which always creates conditions and circumstances for things to happen during these times, and clearly Netanyahu doesn't want this deal to happen, but you have this massive shift, and sure enough, what happens? The oil prices plummet, stock market soars, and then it's, you know, and then there's a reward structure, I suppose, for Trump's rich oligarch friends from the market manipulation that's taking place, while the American people, I think are feeling psychologically tortured throughout all of this because sure, while CPI, Consumer Price Index, which measures consumer inflation, is at this 4.2% and PPI is at 6.5%, and you see these dramatic month over month gains, and then a bad way, rising month over month, like we said, you didn't need the report to explain to the American people that costs are through the roof and they can't afford things, and so while Donald Trump is out there engaged in his market manipulation, quarter one doing the stock trade every nine minutes, the American people are living minute to minute, wondering if they're even able to survive any of this, if they're gonna be able to pay their rent, if they're gonna be able to afford groceries, and that's the tragedy of this all, and things are moving quick, right? In an hour, what I just said, there could be an invasion happening right away, right? And then, you know, we've seen this play out, but the true victims of all of this, it's the American people. Yeah, and there's so much deception going on, and frankly, on all sides in this case, right? And one of the issues too, in trying to read the tea leaves of what's going on in any of these situations, is that Trump has specific things that he wants an audience in the United States to hear, and people who work for financial stations, and United States media to hear, he has his propaganda that he wants to push, and the IRGC and the Iranian regime, they have things that they wanna push to their people, and so you get these maximalist statements on both sides, oftentimes neither of which line up with the truth, but I do have to say, more times than not, the Iranian story has been far closer to the truth than what we're hearing with our own government here in the United States. That is something that is deeply troubling to me, and that's something that I, you know, takes a lot of getting used to, and it's just so shocking to me, I shouldn't be shocking, but it's still so surprising to me that Donald Trump could make these blanket announcements without any sort of proof or corroboration, and the markets react the way they do, and these hosts on cable news react the way they do. Oh, a huge breakthrough, this is massive, and like Ben said, there could be a deal on the horizon, there could not be a deal on the horizon. As of us recording this right now, Iran says that nothing has been agreed to, despite the comments from Donald Trump, where he said that this was agreed to by a variety of countries. Trump also said Israel agreed to this deal, and then they said that they didn't even know anything about it, like Ben said before, so there's a lot of bluster as we come to expect with Donald Trump here regarding this deal, a lot of lies, and Trump took it a step further too, and he said, yeah, in fact, I'm planning on sending JD Vance and Steve Wittkoff to Europe this weekend to sign this deal. Remember, as of now, there's no deal, and then so he's, I think part of what Trump does too is he tries to apply pressure to move things forward, and you've seen when he's especially trapped in these situations, he takes these big swings. So when he's frustrated that Iran's not backing down, when he realizes that he's incapable of opening the straight-up for moves, that the stock market is crashing, he needs to basically, it's like a break glass, and pull moment for Donald Trump, where he goes, all right, I gotta go on Truth Social, I'm gonna bomb you all now, I'm gonna buy it, the big one's coming tonight, the big, this is it, this is it, this is it, and he makes these big threats, which get everybody on edge, because the guy is the president of the United States and controls the military, unfortunately, so on some level, you can't just completely write off what he says, even though he's a maniac and a liar, but I feel like a lot of the situations when he does this, and we've seen this so often with Donald Trump, he does it to try to apply pressure onto the Iranian regime to try to agree to his terms. The thing that we have seen though, and I think anybody who's studied the Iranian regime knows, is that they don't really react nicely to this sort of tactic, they don't fold, they don't bend, they've been at the table to negotiate throughout this whole thing, and from what all these kind of neutral mediators have said, it's that Donald Trump keeps shifting his positions throughout the negotiation process, so even at points where they've come close to a deal, and by the way, this isn't even a deal deal, this is a memorandum of understanding, so that's not even like, act like this is the final deal that's going to happen whenever this initial phase happens, but we keep hearing that Donald Trump is the one constantly moving the goalposts, making a deal harder and harder to reach, and then he goes and he blames Iran, and he does the same gaslighting tactics that he does on Americans over there, and I think when I look at all of his tactics lately, when I look at what's going on on his social media, when I look at the markets, when I look at what his allies like Anila Musk is doing by having his SpaceX IPO launch on Friday, he's going to be the first trillionaire, and they don't want to screw that up, when I look at all this stuff, I actually see a guy who's feeling increasingly desperate, and he's trying to masquerade his kind of faux machismo threats, his this warmongering behavior, all of this, I think is masking the actual desperation that's underneath, that he has pissed that he's been unable to actually get this done, he knows that he is kind of trapped in this space, and he knows also whatever he does here, he's going to get criticism from people, because the situation has just gotten so much worse, and in order for him to make a deal, there will have to be concessions, the devil will be in the details, and the people who he doesn't want to piss off with an eventual deal will be the ones who get pissed off, whether that's Benjamin Netanyahu, whether that's right wing people on Twitter, whether that's Mike Levin, whether that's Lindsey Graham, you name it. You got a whole lot of people who are ready to pounce, the second he gives a single concession to Iran, which is going to be necessary if you actually want to make a deal, especially when you're in a, let's face it, a losing posture like the United States is, like the hole that Donald Trump has dug for himself and for us by entering this war in the first place. Which has become exponentially clear as this thing continues to drag on another month, another month, another month, is that Donald Trump doesn't have the cards, he just absolutely doesn't have the cards, he doesn't have the patience to actually negotiate, and he knows that he got us in a war that we didn't need to be in to start. And now he's very just reactive from what I'm seeing and witnessing to the market. And so what do we always say, brothers, about Donald Trump, right? He lies so big that I think corporate media tends to be like, okay, well, maybe it's not fully that, but the truth is somewhere probably between, you know, the exaggeration and where it's landing. So let's all write our pieces around sort of this middle ground. When there's just no evidence or facts to point to it, like the Vance thing that these, you know, being sent to sign this deal or whatever this weekend, you know, today the market, this Ponzi scheme market, just shot back up. But, and then you look at CNBC's headline, I like to call them Fox Business Light, I'm reading it right now, it says, Dow surges 900 points after Trump says, US will soon sign deal with Iran. Yeah, he's been saying this though, like he has been constantly saying this. So why today of all days, well, because yesterday the market started to crash and started to reflect actually the positions where we are in society at this point. So Donald Trump now has to come up with what? That bigger lie. Hell, JD Vance is going, what do you mean? This deal is imminent. We're making progress. We're really close. Time for everyone to buy back in. And so for me, it's just incredibly frustrating because you have a president of the United States that is leading, or if you want to call it that, to dictate and move up the stock market. And not for the betterment of the people of the United States. Not, he doesn't care about our soldiers, what's happening over there. The way he talks about our dead servicemen is actually like the most horrific thing possible. And if a Democrat ever just scoffed off the death of 13 dead service members, the way Donald Trump scoffs it off, it would be poster to poster news everywhere. And rightfully so by the way, because it is pathetic and absolutely disgusting the way he just laughed, like honestly, like laughs it off. We are in a war of his choosing again, for no reason whatsoever. And he has no idea how to get us out. So he has to keep lying. Now, time will tell if Vance has said somewhere to sign something, who knows. But as of right now, there's just no evidence to point to that then. Let's take our first quick break of the show. He falls asleep all the time. When he is speaking, it's barely coherent or he'll contradict himself. But as I said, I mean, we truly have someone who's kind of physically and cognitively not there anymore. I'm not saying that to be hyperbolic. It's just the reality of it. I'll show you in a little bit, Democratic congresswoman, Kamala Gurdav, when she said on the house floor about Donald Trump, sleeping is a national security threat, she said then. How you can't have the president of the United States just fall asleep like that always in the Oval Office. But I'll get to that in a moment. Let me show you first Donald Trump in the Oval Office saying that we should have a deal done over the next few days and we'll probably have the signing take place in Europe. Let's play this clip. A great settlement of the war with Iran. We're gonna be subject to finalization of documents. We should get done over the next few days. We probably have a signing maybe in Europe. And it's a great thing. Stock markets up a thousand points. That means they like the deal. See that means they like, the market goes down. That means they don't like the deal. But it's been up oil shrubbed. Oil will start coming down to, I think even lower than it was before. We'll get to, I'll tie this all together. A reporter then asks him, you said yesterday that Iran may be tapping along in the US. What makes you believe they are sincere this time since yesterday you said they're tapping you along and you wanna do a ground invasion and bomb them even more. And now you've just said the exact opposite. And that's, it's been one day. So what's going on here? Let's play that clip. You suggested yesterday that Iran may be tapping along in the US. Those were the words that you used. What makes you believe that they are sincere this time in wanting to pursue the policy? It's the level of enthusiasm beginning at that. And we were hitting them very hard for the last three days. We're gonna hit them even harder tonight. They knew that we told them exactly what we were gonna do. We explained it exactly because they had no Navy. Okay, they have a Navy. They have their army. They have their ballistic missiles. And you know, like if you're Iran and you hear that, you know that he's not telling the truth. And so you know it's from a deep position of weakness right there. Remember the day before where he was asked, are you concerned about the surging inflation? Remember inflation CPI 4.2%. Then we saw the markets again tank. And you know, we saw markets crashing each day. And then we saw the bond yields up. And then he goes, I love inflation. I love it. Here, let's play that clip. We've been taking our ships, big ships, quietly at night. You guys didn't know that. Pretty cool, right? As a captain. He knows about more about ships than I do. But it's pretty cool. They turned off the lights. We bombed their radar and everything so they couldn't see what was going on. We took out some nights, 25 ships, some nights 15. Last four or five nights we did 25, 22, 21, 26, 18, and 14. Who else would remember those numbers? Nobody. They make it up numbers. Like a deranged individual. Who else would remember those nights? They were saying numbers. But it's like when he does the cognitive exam thing that he does where he says, I asked me to multiply 1,343 times 6532. Divided by 85732 plus seven divided by two, minus three, minus three, minus 55 times two. And I got the- In the context of him just being so cognitively adamant, I feel like when he's saying who else would remember those numbers? He's not referring to the amount of ships that were destroyed allegedly, but he's saying just like in general that he remembers those numbers. It's always something that he's just discovered when he says it. The reason why he keeps saying in every speech now, like, no one really knew that dumb had a B in it. No one ever knew this before, but it's because he thought of his stupid nickname, Democrats, that he puts in every post now. And he probably wrote it out the first time, D-U-M, the way he's been writing it. And somebody got in his ear and said, well, you know, dumb has a B in it. He goes, oh, I didn't know that. Didn't know that. And it made its way into his speeches now as nobody knew this. He does it with everything. I mean, that's code word. You know, Ron on our sub stack at one point, and we gotta see if we can dig it up. By the way, check out our sub stack. He did a whole like translation of Donald Trump. What does Donald Trump actually mean? When he says this, it actually means that. And that was on the list and it's stay true. I wonder how much of this also in the negotiations beyond Trump's pathological lying, which he does. I wonder how much of it is because a lot of this is being conducted via mediators and not direct communication between Donald Trump and the Iranians. And so like Pakistan is one of the mediators. I wonder how much of it is when Donald Trump makes these threats, do they go to him? No, no, no, no, no, they're close. They're close. They're close. They're really close. They're about to get a deal. We're about to get a deal. And then he starts spouting off, oh, I hear they're close. I hear the regime likes it because the mediators trying to calm him down. I'm just trying to think of all the various. I don't think it's the mediator. I think it's his Wittkopf and Kushner speaking to the mediator. And then they're going back to Trump and they're saying, we're making progress. We're making progress. I think the regulatory things that I've seen in the past kind of month of these kind of conversations back and forth was the last time that there, that, you know, there was this sort of moment where they're like a deals very close. They're 99% there. Just 1% not there. Oh, what's the 1% the 1% is nuclear. It's uranium enrichment. It's, oh, oh, so it's like everything. Like it's everything. It's the straight of our moves. And so like, that's the thing. Like, yes, you could agree on 99% of things, but you're not waiting the things equally. Like you can't wait everything equally. Those are the sticking points. We all know the sticking points. We've known the sticking points from the beginning. And we know what Donald Trump agreed to in the beginning. I mean, he shared the, what was it, a 10 point plan or 12, he shared the Iranian plan that they had agreed to together. And then he tried to backtrack on it. So you can't say you're 99% towards the deal except for uranium enrichment, except for the nuclear issue, except for what to do about who controls the straight of her moves. That's not very close at all. Those, that's the whole sticking point of the whole thing. Can we also just talk about again, how out of touch he is when he just continues to talk about the stock market in these meetings, when he's like the stock market's up again, so the stock market going, the stat's something like the wealthiest 10% of American households hold roughly like 93% of the US stock market. So that like that's, he's just spitting in the face of the average American. Like he's just- Plus I'm revealing that he talks about close to a deal and in the next breath, his comment is always, the stock market's going up, oil's coming down. He always ties the two together, which I think shows you the real kind of reasoning behind these comments. And you got Joe Kern saying, we're close to a deal on CNBC. Well, you think about it though, the guy is a prolific, and I don't mean this in a positive way, stock trader. I mean, this is an exaggeration, right? We went through his 3,800 trades in Q1 of this year, where he has, he traded stocks his first year of this term, but not this way. As soon as the war started, I mean, this guy was, the Charlie Sheen character in the movie, Wall Street. It's like, this is what I was like. So the guy was doing, he's a guy buy, buy, buy, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell. And he would have the CEOs of these companies, whose companies he was buying and selling. I mean, for a fraud, carn, artist, felon, bankrupt, or like Trump, this is like rubbing it like a genie, like what do you call it? Magic lamp. I mean, like you think you're so, I mean, here's a guy who's been a business loser his entire life with that, he's money. He would screw everything up. And now, he brings the company's in here, he does a tweet and the market rises. I mean, for someone like that, and I mean this in the worst possible way, like this is what he lives for. Like this is exhilarating market manipulations, like quite literally what he does. And so 3,800 trades means nine minutes of trade. So that means he's thinking about this all the damn time. Like he's looking at these shifts. And so he knows when he's down, he knows when he's up, he knows how to bake it back up, he knows how to buy the dip, he knows when to sell at the peak. And he reveals it right there, that he's like, you know, in the market, like it's like, why are you even, I mean, here's the thing. If indeed, you truly believe that Iran is an existential threat to the lives of the American people and yourself and the world. If you truly believe that, what does the market have to do with anything? And if you truly believe that Iran poses an imminent nuclear threat, then why gamify any of this? Like if, because they're not an imminent threat, and we know they're not, we know what the security apparatus in the United States said, they're not an imminent nuclear threat. This was all a Trump Netanyahu lie. Trump thought this would be easy, he keeps saying Venezuela, he thought he'd go in there and he'd get to spray cologne on the Ayatollah and they'd be joint venture partners together like Delcy. Maybe he can invite the, I'm kidding you, not in Trump's mind. Maybe I can invite the Ayatollah over to the oval, I could spray my Trump perfume, I'll smell him a little bit, maybe he's handsome, maybe he's a handsome guy. I mean, that's how Trump treats the leader of Syria, right? I mean, I think Trump figured that that's what it was gonna be. Trump would beam himself into the Iranian TVs with BB. Hey, we're here, you know us, we're great. People are like, yeah, the people who are doing genocide in Palestine 11, I know, no, we don't want that, stay away. And though the people who promised us that they were gonna be here in January, who screwed everybody up, yeah, no, stay away. And so he operates from, he operates from that, it's deeply dangerous, it's deeply disconnected. And here we are, I think, by the way, if you look at, and it's horrible to even, to make these connections, but I'll say two things. Number one, if you look at J.P. Morgan's assessment of the market, they literally said that right around June 10th, June 11th, the war would resolve, go back and read their report. I remember reading what it last month and month have, they said, right around then, it'll become unsustainable financially and then Trump will stop the war. And Trump reads that stuff. And by the way, what they were saying was happening in terms of the oil markets, reaching a point where the reserves were gonna be fully kind of tapped and tank bottom and the bond markets and the stock markets and all of like, we were right on teetering on the edge of like calamity. And they said that. Another point though, just so you know, I think that the Elon Musk IPO was kind of a part of this and how Iran used that as leverage. Did you note that on Iranian state TV today, one of the things they mentioned was that they were gonna be targeting Elon Musk's facilities and it was within an hour after that, that Trump announced this. And I can envision, and again, I'm giving you my opinion. And I don't think this is the only factor, but I think it's part of a totality of factors. I can imagine a circumstance where Iran says, it's because as they said, we're gonna go after all Elon Musk businesses in the Middle East and we're gonna make sure we destroy them right away if anything else goes. Strange comment, right to target. I mean, don't get me wrong. Elon Musk is a prominent American figure who's very much involved in a lot of the bad stuff that's happening in our country. So, but then mentioning it right before the IPO tells me that they knew that was a leverage point for Donald also. And so you put these factors, and these are factors that you're like, wow. Oh, and also the United Arab Emirates foreign minister spoke with foreign minister, Erdogci today in Iran, European unions foreign minister, Kha Kha Las spoke with foreign minister, Erdogci. And I think Trump saw like, oh my God, everyone's doing it without me. So I gotta go do it. And I'm gonna say, I'm gonna take credit for it. And I'm gonna be the one to do it. And we'll still see to be clear, we've done this 38 times. The only difference is at least is that Iran is now at least acknowledging a final draft, but they are controlling it on their terms and saying it's going to the IA. By the way, I want to know what's totally been taken out of the conversation this entire time. Key of things that we said were the objectives. Yeah, yeah. But let's go back to one of the initial objectives before he even shifted the objectives, which is the fact that, theoretically, at some point this was about liberating the Iranian people. There is zero, zero discussion in any of these negotiations about reforms to make life better for the Iranian people or some sort of way to monitor the way the Iranian regime treats its people. That's been completely put on the side. Take to the streets, Brett. Take to the streets. They put them on a suicide mission. It's really screwed up. And people try to say, oh, you don't care about the Iran. No, I care. That's why I don't like what they did here. They screwed them over. And if you need any more evidence, exhibit a Venezuela, because once Donald Trump got what he wanted out of Venezuela, which was the ability to have a partner in crime, essentially, in Venezuela to extract the country's resources for his financial gain, then he did not give a damn about the Venezuelan people who are still living under the Maduro regime, just under another leader of that regime. But everything else still stands. You never once hear Donald Trump complaining about the freedoms of the Venezuelans, but he went in there, we're liberating them, we're freeing them. That never happened. It never happened. All those images right away, when those people were celebrating in the streets in Venezuela after Maduro was toppled and he was taken to the United States in that operation. That's why I said, I'm like, I'm glad they're happy right now, but like, that's way to beat, because I don't want people to get false hope because we know what Donald Trump does. And sure enough, Donald Trump did what Donald Trump does. He didn't care about the people, he brushed them aside, he made his corrupt deals, screwed them, and we see where we are now, and he's perfectly happy with it, never spoken about again. You know, one of the things we see also is, and he's gonna do it here, right? What was he bragging about over the past 24 hours? I got a hundred million barrels of oil through the Strait of Ramuz in the past 105 days. The Iranians didn't know about it. Okay, so that's like what, two million barrels of oil a day if you kind of do the math, versus like the 25 to 30 that was going on before the war started. And by the way, what he's saying probably isn't true at all either. I'm sure some got through, turned their tracking systems off and did get through, but okay, like let's say he exaggerates usually by 50%. So let's even say it was 50. Let's just even take him out his word, 100 million. That's not, it sounds like a lot, because a hundred million, billion trillion, but Trump contorts millions, billions, trillions, so words don't matter at all. You know, it was like what he did with China. He's like 14 million metric tons or 12 million metric tons of soybeans. I'm like, look, when Biden was in office, we never even talked about soybeans, like as a thing, like as like a thing. And he got 28 million metric tons bought from the Chinese. And we never worried about Chinese not buying soybeans, like that just wasn't a thing. Biden solidified his relationships with Southeast Asian countries. He showed strength against Xi Jinping. There was a level of respect that was there. And China bought soybeans. America protected its semiconductor industry. America protected Taiwan while recognizing the right diplomatic speak to deal with it. America showed that it had a security umbrella in Southeast Asia as well as the Middle East. And we never talked about like 14 million metric tons. It's like, yeah, that's half, a hundred million barrels. Yeah, that's like 10%. Like these aren't wins, but in Trump's world, you know, that's what he characterizes as a win doing the worst deal and then attacking the deals of others. You know, it's really easy to attack other people's deals, to second guess, to Monday night quarterback or Tuesday night, whatever the expression is, it's very easy to do that. Actually doing the thing is hard. It's hard. And Trump's enjoys the chaos and the attacking versus the actual doing and the leadership and all this like performative stuff, you know, as well. I'll just show you right here. This is Hegseth at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba yesterday, like doing some script for a straight to DVD movie. Yeah, straight to DVD movie in 2026. That's how corn ball this is. Here he is like, yeah, oh yeah, dudes, the Iranians, they'll be unwise to chase doing PT. That's why I'm humping the puffing. Yeah, dudes, the Iranians are gonna be so, they would be unwise to challenge us, dudes, bros. Here, play this clip. Although the president's threatening to leave it permanently, you heard that, right? He's threatening to leave the, just don't know. Maybe we'll just host weekly fights between people in politics and settle our scores that way. But all kidding aside, Sunday is an unbelievable, historic, I think never to be repeated until next year experience for the American people to be able to see a sport. This is where I wanna close. And I made this point earlier. We were doing a little interview about it. The White House is the people's house. It belongs to the people of the United States. The American 250 celebration belongs to the people of the United States. For those who are watching, perhaps you are mesmerized by the stupidity. For those on audio, you didn't see it. But the Chiron said, Secretary of State Marco Rubio signs a diplomacy deal with Dana White of UFC. I kid you not, the Chiron, they did a diplomacy deal. And it's like, what a diplomacy deal with the UFC? Donald Trump has an investment in the parent company. What are we doing here? I mean, and this is gonna be historical. This is gonna be a great deal. This is gonna know what would be historical is if you bring down the costs of everything, housing and food and gas and inflation and you made people's lives better. That would be historical if you gave everybody healthcare for free and if you gave everybody the opportunity to have a great education and people were paid with dignity, that would be historical. Rather than being at a UFC fight, which is where Rubio was last time, it would have been helpful perhaps, maybe not. But if you were in Pakistan negotiating back in April and we wouldn't have to wait 60, 70 days of more harm to our economy and there could have been a deal done then or if you were a Secretary of State who actually cared about diplomacy, you wouldn't have allowed the State Department to be gutted and not have any tools to be helpful in terms of what your role is, but you're doing a diplomacy deal with the UFC. Great job doing a diplomacy deal with the UFC. I mean, it's so utterly stupid. It's historical, it's not historical, it's stupid. You're turning the, by the way, I'm not like hating on UFC, personally, I'm not a UFC fan. I like basketball, I like soccer or if you're out of the country football, I'm for those on audio, I'm wearing my Mexican jersey, celebrate the win today and my families, have my families from Mexico, my wife's side. And so, but I like sports, I played sports in high school. I mean, I don't think that the UFC needs to be in the backyard of the White House and turn the White House into a junkyard and make it some weird right-wing oligarch game. You don't think you need Bud Light ads on the White House lawn and Polly Market ads on the White House lawn and all the other ads. What people aren't talking about enough about this UFC fight, it's literally a birthday present for Donald Trump. UFC fights are notoriously, like they are routinely on Saturday nights, this one Sunday night, just so I can get you, Donald Trump's birthday. He's gonna fall asleep, like we know what's gonna happen, by the way, it's like 80% chance of rain too. We'll see if it rains, but he's gonna fall asleep. He doesn't fall asleep, he doesn't even feel like he's enjoying these things too. Like he just wants everybody to be miserable. And again, this is not what, look, you wanna watch UFC, you like it, good. Don't put it in the White House. We don't need it on the president's birthday, it's weird. We don't need to be doing that. So you have that going on. And then you have Mark Wayne Mullen, who's now the Homeland Security Secretary. And he's being asked about the fact that the United States is banned to Somali referee. Like why? Because Trump hates people from Somalia. Omar Artan, who's a hero now in Somalia, in Africa and regularly in the rest of the world. The way the US is treating so many fans and groups of people and team members that are from other countries that Donald Trump doesn't like based on his racist views. And so Mark Wayne Mullen was asked, like, so what do you think about this? And Mullen basically implied that Omar Artan is a criminal or a terrorist because he's Somalian. Listen to what he says, reply. These that are already shaping the World Cup, at least one referee from Somalia and one Iraqi team staff member were denied entry at US airports in recent days. And dozens of fans have been denied. What did you call it? Did you call it politics? No. What did you say? I forget how you started that question. Policies. Yeah, policies are we're not gonna allow people that have criminal or maybe proceed to be, have criminal ties to come into this country. I don't care what your situation is. We, I'm not gonna get into why we denied this individual, but there's a reason why this person was denied it. Now the left media wants to go out there and report and say this guy's a victim of. Yeah, well then tell the reason other than the fact that he's a black guy from Somalia. Like we all know that's why. He's a Somalian guy, he's Somalian. And Trump goes after the Somalian community. And then when you make a comment like that, by the way, like what you're doing is horrible and racist and despicable. You can answer that question and say, we're not commenting. Next. You've now defamed the guy, implied that he's a criminal, or that he looks like a criminal. And then you say, and we're not gonna allow the left to spin it. The left to spin what? It's obvious what you did on a left spinning something. And if you have evidence now that Omar Artan, the top African referee, one of FIFA's, forget Africa, one of FIFA's top referees who got a visa, who traveled to the United States and then was kicked out. You have evidence that he's a criminal. After saying that he's a criminal, then give the evidence, explain what the issue is. Of course there isn't. And then you get mad when people get mad at you and despise you and hate you for doing things like that. So let's ask Mr. World Peace Prize, FIFA Peace Prize, Gianni and Fontino, we've seen you shoulder to shoulder with Kings, princes, prime ministers, presidents, giving fake peace prizes to Donald Trump. That was your event. You made other world leaders show up. You were there as part of the peace board, a world peace board that is a total fraud and a sham that was never even funded. And then Trump proceeded to invade Iran with Netanyahu right after that and invade Venezuela. But you were there. Ha, Donald, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Okay, well, because FIFA is apparently a nation state and you're giving out peace prizes, are you gonna do anything about the blatant racism by the United States government? It's uniquely US. Mexico's doing a great job, Canada's doing a great job. The fans are, I don't blame, like, fans like football or soccer, like, we like the sport, we don't want it to be political. So Gianni and Fontino, Mr. Buying or Renting Office Space that are vacant to funnel money to Donald Trump for FIFA. What say you about this? You don't control everything. We try, we'll discuss, we'll speak, we'll see. Maybe sometimes it's good as well to just, you know, chill, relax, we work on everything. We try to solve everything, sometimes to immediately start screaming and shouting as the opposite effect of finding a solution. Believe me when I tell you, or don't believe me if you don't want, but we try always to find solutions. Always. But then we need to respect that we are not the kings of the world who can rule over governments and police forces and I don't know what. We are a sports organization, we try to do our best with the means that we have to make as much as possible. And in this, and I conclude, we want to unite the world. And if I can ask you one thing, again, if you want to criticize me, criticize me, it's fine. It's okay. But promote the unity of the world. Chill, relax. What are you so upset about there? What are you so upset about? Why give good coverage, unify? It's like we're just calling you out for working with Trump and doing some racist things. We could unify, we could tell great stories about some great games, like we could do both. We can actually enjoy the sport. That's good, we want to be joyous. We want to see the games be played and people have incredible athletic accomplishments and fans be enthusiastic. We want to see that. Just don't be a racist piece of shit. Like it's very, it's very, That's how there is masks, though, right? That's always just like, you do something that's so overtly political. What is more political than giving Donald Trump a fake peace prize? Then the second you get called out for something and have the ability to actually do something about because you run the organization, you go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, let's not get political, let's not inject ourselves into things like this. It's like, dude, that's been your whole thing. You can't just back out now. It's like, they try to have it both ways. We see this all the time. And there's also like this other story going on with the World Cup that I don't think is getting enough attention. And I feel like it's worth highlighting given that we try to highlight climate related issues on this show. Did you guys know that this World Cup is expected to be the most climate polluting tournament in history, as well as one of the most impacted by climate change itself. So it really is hitting both ends of this. They're saying that the World Cup this year is going to generate roughly 9 million tons of carbon emissions, which is double the historical average. This is because they expanded the tournaments from 32 to 48 teams. They're spreading it across 16 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. So there are people just flying everywhere and it's creating this massive, massive, massive carbon emissions. But not only that, the tournament itself has already been affected by climate change and it will likely be affected by climate change again. Like it could, it's threatening games of the tournament because the scientists are looking at just the raw data. And they're seeing that 14 of the 16 host cities could experience temperatures high enough that could create dangerous conditions for the players, for the workers, for the fans. And I feel like people don't realize that heat is already currently the biggest, one of the most dangerous conditions out there. It's the single deadliest weather related hazard in the entire country. So people are constantly thinking of, oh, like hurricanes are dangerous, floods are dangerous, wildfires are dangerous. Just heat alone, the heating of the country, the heating of the planet is the single deadliest thing that happens, it kills more people each year than all of those things combined. And last year even when they had FIFA events in the United States, those events were disrupted by heat and severe weather. And so experts are looking ahead, they're seeing El Nino, they're seeing the rising temperatures and they're going, this tournament is going to be incredibly affected as well. And at the same time, any sort of ways that the administration, the Trump administration could have combated these issues and actually helped with climate issues, helped to have any sort of resilience initiatives for resilience for communities to just make it so they could prepare for these extreme temperatures. Donald Trump is of course doing the opposite. He's actually proposing eliminating the assistance programs that help people deal with these sorts of issues, removing the programs that help low income families afford air conditioning during the summer. And obviously this all ties into the affordability crisis and you could go on and on and on, but there's even like a larger story at play than the games themselves. And I think it'll be, it's worth monitoring as we see this, what those disruptions look like and what other chaos is caused as a result of the way this entire tournament is being handled. Yeah, and I'll leave you with this. As I said, I would show you before, Democratic Congresswoman, Kamla Geer Dove, talking about a national security crisis we all face right now. This is what she said on the house floor, let's play it. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to sound the alarm about a grave national security threat, Donald Trump's sleeping habits. I know we have rules about decorum, so I will stick to the facts because this is in fact a serious matter of oversight, transparency, and national security. In meeting after meeting, Donald Trump has fallen asleep in public, on camera, in broad daylight, when people lavish praise on him. We cannot trust the White House on matters concerning the President's health because they are denying what Americans are seeing with our own two eyes. Just last week, Margot Rubio seemingly lied to Congress about this when he told my colleague that he had never been at a meeting where Trump fell asleep, despite being shown a video where the President dozed off right next to him. We cannot have a President asleep on the job. Is he sleeping in classified briefings on calls with foreign leaders? How can we trust a President who is literally asleep at the wheel to make informed decisions about national security? In April, YouGov poll found that 48% of Americans believe that Trump is also suffering modest to significant cognitive decline. He is increasingly making erratic decisions and raised questions about his mental fitness for office. He is posting AI on TruthSocial at ungodly hours of the night. He is hyper fixated on his billion dollar ballroom and a $1.8 billion slush fund for political allies instead of ending his war of choice on Iran and lowering costs for Americans. Sadly, the White House has repeatedly failed detransparent with the American people about the President's help. Health, Trump consistently has bruises on his hands that the White House claims are from handshakes. He received an MRI without knowing who a body part was scanned or disclosing why he received it. The White House failed to put a mysterious dentist appointment on the presidential calendar as is normal for medical appointments. Dr. Oz said the President is taking cognitive tests every day because he likes the results. And the White House removed a hair loss prevention drug from the public list of drugs he is taking saying they're not obligated to disclose what medications the President is on. Is Trump suddenly naturally growing his hair or is the White House hiding something? We need real transparency. It is time for Republicans to wake up and join Democrats in demanding transparency from this White House about the President's health. It is a matter of national security.
