okay well I met some young women the other day when I was at my friend's birthday and they came up to me and they go you've been talking to us and I go pardon they go you've been talking to us now I've been DMing Royal Otis a lot on Instagram no don't tell me I didn't realize I've been DMing two young women a lot on Instagram because they are running the the Royal Otis account so thank you thank you too thank you to my chosen family those two women that are running the royal otis account um yeah i already got the impression i was speaking to otis i was or or royal i don't i didn't really care one of the two young men i wouldn't really care oh my god When's the last time I recorded in this part of my home? Oh, my God. I don't know. Why? What are you seeing? I think this is my panache. Ew. Ew, Connor. Ew. No. That's not okay. No. Absolutely not. No, Connor. no put it down down boy wait was it where did it go wait was it just the peel or a full banana no no no no I mean that is a Peruvian puff pepper I'd like to propose a toast um hang on do not like this is no I'm not gonna there's nothing to peel I'm not kidding it's a completely dehydrated banana Was it just the skin or was there a banana inside? No, there was a banana in this Whoa Call me crazy, but I completely understand Jet black Yeah, I can't even look, where is it? I've never seen A food of any kind Turn That shade of Midnight sky Did you Hello 911, what's your emergency? you lost your banana i don't want you to put it back to your face oh oh wow that smells something like i've never experienced i think it fermented a bit fermented um well that's a testament to how clean my home is there's wow there's no i mean there's not a fruit fly in sight that took my breath away anyway now that we got that out of the way Hey Brooke. Hi Connor. Welcome back to Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast, you little thing. Ooh, I'm still thinking about that banana. I know, I'm looking at it, so. It's giving me the same feeling in my stomach that Chapel Rohn's red carpet dress gave me. At the Grammys? Yeah. Like, ow. You know what I mean? The banana's giving you the same feeling as like a satin dress dangling from her nips? yes like ow like ooh like cringe like my body hurt like it's like hurting me i was just kind of thinking like not that like a dress is weighing a ton on your shoulders but i was like how nice to take the weight off your shoulders for a moment put it right of course but yeah but it's just like making me wince i guess for different other things you could hang from your nipples i'm thinking like if you only wanted to make one trip from the car after you've gone to the grocery store how nice would it be if your nipples were able to for if your nipples were up for the challenge it would be really nice to just carabiner some bags on the one one one tit honestly not a bad idea to have a harness that has like multiple clips for like five bags and you can just attach them to your body Whoa, why has no one done that? I think it's a vest. They have that as a vest. Yeah. Izzy, would you mind looking up bag carrying vest? Yeah. I hate that that happens when this happens. You hate when what happens? Honestly, they don't really have what I'm talking about. When I invent something and it exists. Oh. No, they don't. Oh, that. No, I'm talking about You can add carabiner to this I'm talking about a glass with carabiners Oh, this has gotten very sexual Yeah, I'm talking about Pretty quickly Something different, so Broke wearing a full leather Head to toe fit Sorry, it's just to make it It's just for ease of carrying the bags Sorry, it's my carabiner vest I'm not really into anything crazy It just happened to be leather, but it's for carrying all my bags. Yeah. Anyway, that's something to think about. We touched on jugs earlier in this podcast. What did we talk about when it was hands-free jugs? Remember when I think we were – oh. We've definitely spoken about jugs. I don't remember what we were saying. When was the last time you interviewed for something? The last time? Do you mean like for to get a position or like I was interviewed by like a media outlet? No, no, not a media outlet. Yeah. Like you're trying to impress someone via your skills. It maybe doesn't have to be for a job, but more so just like in general. What is an example of that that wouldn't be interviewing for a job? Like a date? No, not a date. My apartment, I just like met my landlord when she was giving me a tour. So I wouldn't say that was an interview. No. Okay. I think when I last applied for a teaching job. Oh, it's been a while. Do you think you could sit down and do an interview and like crush it? Absolutely not. Oh. For what? I don't know. I had to interview for my apartment. You did? What kind of questions did they ask you? Like what's your, like what are your hobbies? What do you like to do? Why do they care? I think they're just trying to get a read. And obviously I lied my butt and cheeks off. Yeah. What did you say? I was like, I love to swim. I don't know why swimming came. Like I do love to swim. You do? Of course, everyone loves to swim. I don't think that that's like a unique thing to me. But I do think that like that being top of mind for me does let the receiver know like this young man loves human basic activity. That's like a base level activity. Yeah, like a primal activity. Like an ancestral almost instinctual activity. Swimming. And I didn't, there's no bells, there's no whistles, okay? So leave every bell and whistle you thought you had about swimming at the doe, okay? Yeah. I'm talking for the love of the game bobbing around like an apple. Perfect. treading water sure diving underneath opening my eyes it doesn't matter the medium of the of the body of water it could be chlorine it could be salt water it could be fresh hell it could be milk a lifeguarding course i have yeah have you how long did you have to tread water for i don't remember i think it was like five minutes yeah i think we had to do 10 one of yeah one of my friends did it and like we thought he was joking he like went underwater and he was being FR and he was underwater in a big way. He cramped, which is like a scary thing. You can cramp. You can totally cramp. I'm so good at floating on my back that it's like I'm safer in water than I am in land. I'm better at floating on my back than I am standing on my legs. How often are you floating in water? Tell me. Pretty damn often, Connor. Okay. So when you're floating in water and you turn onto your back. It's like a ball. Okay. This is me. You're being interviewed. I am the most buoyant person, you know. Okay, cool. Like right now you're nailing the interview. The interview is for the position of tadpole. Nice. You know, I was a whale in my swimming group in camp. Can't get higher than the whales, baby. Can't not get higher than the whales. Pardon? I was a whale in my swimming group. Like out of all the levels at camp, I was a whale. Okay, I see. Not a lot of kids make it to the whales. No, they don't. You know why I made it to the whales? Why? Because of my performance on my back. So you have a way with words, young hussy. Thank you. Do not call me young hussy. We have one young hussy in the studio. We're joined today with one young hussy. She is great on her back and she is a whale. No, I know. That's mean. Sorry, she was a whale. I was a whale. Do you remember when we did that like All-American Rejects, we watched the music video, and in the video it's like, I hate fat people even though my mom is a whale. It was like, you wrote that down and they put your face in that music video, young man. I really hope that came back around these 15 minutes of fame. I don't know if he found his 15 minutes within the All-American Rejects, I'll Keep You My Dirty Little Secret music video. I don't know if he found what he was looking for. I sure hope that wasn't reflective of something that happened to him, like a lived experience. I really hope that was just like they were handing out the cards at random and he happened to draw that. No, I think that was his. That's true. That's truly his darkness in his heart. Like that is someone that's like watch list vibes. Yeah, I think that was his. And I think his 15 minutes of fame lingered longer than 15. Like once you hold up a card that says my mom is a whale, like that will linger in your life. I hope it did. Like I hope that he had to answer to that. You deserved it. Did you see the movie The Whale? No. Did I tell you about my experience watching The Whale? Yeah, you were sobbing on the plane. Yeah, and then I switched it over to, not the holdovers, Mr. Whatever with Tom Hanks. Oh, a man called Ove, but Otto at right? A man called Otto Ove? Ove is the book. Oh, you know, one thing about me. Not a big reader. No. I do want to discuss something with you. Wait, are we getting into our book that we talked about last week? I was kind of going to mention that. Because I changed my mind and I wanted to explain. No, you can't change your mind. I was getting really hyped up. Well, let me pitch you something. Okay. For those of you that don't know, in the bonus a few weeks ago, Connor and I decided to do a book club and we were going to read Morning Glory Milking Farm, which is a Minotaur romance. I think it was just The Milking Farm I think it's Morning Glory baby I think that was what Are you right? Yes Morning Glory Milking Farm Okay so if you're wondering like What could this book be about? It's really just in the title And every innuendo that you think that They could be making that They are Like it's pretty much laid out for you They're jacking off the Minotaur They are 158% I was gonna pitch what about Jane Eyre what about Jane Eyre what if we did that is that a Dyson product I don't know what no it's like a classic okay like an old Bronte classic see like we had like a really fun thing going I'll do milking farm we like met in the middle I'll do milking farm this looks really really truly like I'm going to change my major if this is a required I will do a reading farm I just I saw Wuthering Heights and I made it I added to my New Year's resolution read a classic which I don't like want to do it but like I'm going to and I thought it would be less painful if you did it with me but I'll do it I'm down to read a classic like it's confusing how they characterize books as classics like I'll read 1984 with you no I mean like one of these that is going to test my limits there is a reason why all of these authors killed themselves these books are snooze i don't think any of the i don't think the bronte sisters did that should they but they put their heads no you're thinking about sylvia plath i would like to read the bell jar as well that i think i'll actually like yeah i mean like i guess i watched love island uk and they all that's a good show sorry i'm not meaning to where was the connection they all killed themselves on that show too like oh i didn't know that i didn't know that yeah and I found that out as I was watching that season and it it did ruin it for me which is no surprise but like knowing that Sylvia Plath did did go via oven like I think going into it I'd be like oh this is interesting it's kind of like you know when like an artist dies and it's like what's that saying about when an artist dies and you start to appreciate their work more I know I don't know if there's a saying but that it's just a thing like appreciated post-mortem yeah it's like why don't how about how about we appreciate it while we're here because i would you know yeah that's almost worth like faking your death for and seeing like what people do with it that's my favorite episode of friends is when ross throws himself a memorial service yeah and curious yes of course no I haven't I'm sorry I don't know why I lied it's okay but okay we'll do morning glory milking farm I think we do this this is baseline let me grease my wheels a little bit I don't you're not gonna I don't think you're gonna love it the thing is I don't think you're gonna love it so I really feel like we're meeting in the middle here it's not like I could see see this is no I can't I was gonna try to convince myself that I could see like liking him. I can't get on board with the Minotaur. I can't. There's been many. Okay. And I can't read. That visual is like, that visual is not my favorite because she's clearly, she's filled the jar up with some, something and she's, she has gloves on. Which, the thing is, I can't. We will be tested. Yeah. But you know, Luke of, of BookTok read it as a social experiment. Is that Luke right there in the middle? Yeah. The one from the tractor. Yeah, he just came across my desk last week and he followed me. So I followed him back. Yeah. Oh, that's great. Oh, he's read this book. He read it as like he was like, I will do this, but like I won't like it. He really liked it. Go figure. Sometimes the milking farm is where you least expect it. Sometimes the milking farm is right under your nose. Exactly. Sometimes the milking farm is what you find along the way. I'm really nervous. Wow. I'm excited. When do we start? I gotta get the book I keep forgetting to get it Izzy has it, you'll get it next week I have a copy there Yeah, I got it Can I just see it, Izzy And just open to a page and kind of see what Type of content we'll be working with Yeah, I wanna get it Oh great, no worries Okay, so Morning Glory Milking Farm it is And if you'd like to join our book club We'll be doing that on the bonus Okay, can we click that bottom I'm sorry That bottom right image And maybe this is a passage Oh a passage Of the book She should have let go Violet knew that She told herself She ought to do so immediately But she was hypnotized By the way his heavy balls Throbbed as he came Each spurt Into the milking machine Originating beneath her fingertips And she began to squeeze them In time Helping him empty every drop So I'm down for Jane Eyre I'm not I think I think I can't Do you want to do Jane Eyre? Do you think we could maybe look into a third option? Between Milking Farm and Jane Eyre. I think we can find something in between the two. Okay. If you guys have any suggestions for something that meets in the middle of a Bronte classic and heavy balls, please let us know. I can't think of anything. think of a vinda vinda vinda vinda vinda vinda vinda vinda yes what is it called diagram vinda diagram and think of something right there in the middle in fact forget the vinda diagram yeah like think about a spectrum and we're thinking milking farm on the right and we thinking jane air bronte sisters on the left i think the key for us is that it has to be out of both of our comfort zones because we have to have a like shared experience And I think that we get that when we venture on the to the edge of our comfort zone and a little bit past the edge as well. And is that what, so are you back to morning glory? Not at all. I'm saying that there's gotta be something that meets in the middle that is also out of our comfort zone. Cause like I could be like, let's read this romance and like, I'll like it, but you're going to be miserable. Yeah. Maybe there's a classic that we would both like. Which, by the way, I have to bring this up. Something that I am so excited about. You know, they're doing a live action. Tangled? They're doing a live action. What's The Boys on the Island? Where the Wild Things are? No, I love that. You know I love that shit. But hang on. Boys on the Island. Lord of the Flies They're doing a live action Lord of the Flies I've never read that Do you want to read that? Did you already read it? I don't want to read that I mean years and years and years ago No, I don't want to read that But I appreciate it For what it is Oh, it's a TV series It's a new four-part live action TV adaption Of Lord of the Flies It's set to be released On BBC It could be really good because it's on BBC and it's filmed in Malaysia. Love. Yeah, that will be, I'll really enjoy that. Okay. Hey guys, we want to take a break to thank a sponsor of today's episode, Warby Parker. It's more like where there's originals than the thing that your grandma has at the bottom of her perch. Wuthering. Here's what I'll say. Yeah. You guys know I have premiere blindness. Let them know. So you can't really trust this review, unfortunately. I have loved every movie that I have seen at a premiere. That means I also loved It Ends With Us when I saw it at a premiere. Then, saw it at home. hugely different experience. So I don't know. I really, really enjoyed myself and I thought it was great. But again, that being said, I don't know if you can trust me. I do know for a fact, obviously it was visually stunning and I thought the performances were incredible. I had no idea what the story was about. And I would imagine this is very largely different from the book. That being said, I didn't even know the tone of the story. I thought it was more of like a- Hey, can I jump in real quick? You may. What are you talking about? Wuthering Heights. Yeah, I'm like, I don't even know what you're referencing, plot line. What did you see there if there was no plot line and you didn't know the tone? No, I'm talking about the book. I'm saying I didn't know anything about the book going into it oh i see sorry continue it's okay i didn't know what the tone of the story was i didn't know what the plot line of the story was so i was very surprised by the way the movie went yeah and i guess i don't really want to spoil anything but like um i i also know there are a lot of people who feel very strongly about the book and i would imagine that you this movie will not be for you if that's the case. But I have no mind really. Can we just like I'm not going to watch it. I want to be very clear that and you know, I love my boy. One of my closest confidants. He was great. J.E. Yeah. I have been pretty significantly turned off by the press surrounding their. Like off screen relations, like whatever's going on with that. Oh, how, like, they became emotionally codependent or whatever? Okay, so, like, there has been, like, this progression of, like, every movie that has a male and female lead, and any, actually, any leads, where the movie seems to be dependent on the press around these two maybe having a romantic relationship offscreen, even though, like, one's married and one's dating and, like, will they, won't they? and it's like very very weird and like no one's buying this one for some reason and I don't know maybe because it just like feels inauthentic like Margot Robbie doing an interview and says that she's pretty codependent on Jacob Lorty she found herself looking around for him when she couldn't see him and like didn't know where he was and I'm like one you're married not that that's ever stopped anybody speed bump not a stop sign and it's Jacob Lorty like no one would blame you but I they got matching rings and then they like I don't know. It's like, is it throwing you off at all? You saw the movie, so I don't know. Maybe this is coming. I think that's just how it goes now. I think that's how they sell movies. But this is an adaption of a classic. I think people would have been curious enough as it is. You don't have to do this. Do this much. It's just disappointing to me to look at these two A-list, A-list, A-list, A-list celebrities buy into the like, sorry, anyone but you press tour. where it's like we're fucking so you guys should see the movie i have actually not gotten any romantic vibes between them it's like the whole press thing no i know but i haven't gotten romantic vibes i've just gotten like like weird margot robbie had a shrine to jacob alorty during withering heights that so that like that platonic shrine i know you have a lot of platonic shrines Yeah. So. I don't know. I knew it. Like. Yeah. I guess I'm not buying it. Like you said. Like I'm not sensing the romance. No. No one is. But it's actually turning me off to the movie. So I think that. I hope we see a correction in the. In the press tour situation. Where it's just like. You guys. Don't have to be having sex. Because at the end of the day. You are actors. So just go ahead and act like you're having sex. On screen. And then you guys can go home. I hear ya. like they put too much money in things maybe just like buy some buy some billboards you know yeah i haven't watched too much of it of the press um i find margot robbie to be so beautiful that it like it does not upsets me but it's like i don't need to look you know you don't need to what to look at what margot robbie her yeah oh i see because she she is just like so beautiful i'm like cool you know yeah i don't think you're the first one that's ever said that yeah no and i won't be the last but yeah i haven't engaged too much so i yeah i think but i think a lot of people would agree with you yeah that was my only thought now can you can you can we just give a warning that you're going to spoil it for me really quick. And then if you're not going to see it, you can listen. If you are going to see it, see it, skip. I'm not going to spoil it, but I will, I will say the tone. Will you spoil it to me? No, cause I don't want to like someone's bound to listen and then get mad at me. Skip the next 30 seconds. I just didn't like, it's just, I'm going to spoil it right now. Sorry. One, two, three. She dies like pretty gruesome. death. Like it's not like a love story. I guess they were in love, but like it's not a love story by any means. It wasn't really. It wasn't really getting you there. I mean, no, it was still really good. It was just I thought it was like more pride and prejudice, which I think is classic, like yearning love story. And this was like there was a darkness. Just the prejudice. it's just the prejudice exactly um but there's yeah it was just like made me feel sick and i saw you saw oh my god at the end yeah wow that's sad yeah um okay well that i mean that was that was one of the things that i had that i had a question about i was curious now i was i was never gonna go see it though this doesn't like this doesn't like do anything for me i wonder if it did anything for Jacob Elordi because he just won all those awards for Frankenstein. I wonder if this was just like, this one's just for me. No, I think that well, he loves, he works I think him and Emerald Fennell have that thing that a lot of directors and actors have where it's like, I will use you in all of my projects. Like Emma Stone and Guillermo Del, no, not Guillermo. Who's that? Who's that director? The one, like Begonia and you know what I mean. Yorgos. Yorgos. Yeah. Wait, I watched Begonia. Oh, how was that? Um, like... Okay. What's weird is that, like, this is, like, a movie that you could really have. Begonia was, like, really... It had, like, an artistry to it, but it was, like, almost, like, a little bit so unsettling. and I'm sure there's like an underlying theme that I didn't care to think that far into I was just kind of like oh my god like what it was so it was so almost SNL-y if that makes sense Emma Stone was really great Jesse Blumman's bad Brooke I don't know like I really don't know I haven't I haven't watched a movie and been like we are so good at movie reviews no well I know but you're like, okay, how was Weather and Heights? There was a tone to it. There was an underlying tone. I'm not sure. No, Begonia, I wasn't, I watched Begonia and I wasn't like, huh? But I was, and I also wasn't like, huh? I was kind of like, hmm. Do you know what I mean? Connor, the thing is, 100% I do. It just like. It just was. Hmm. Hmm. Okay. Okay. Was it more of like, okay? Brooke, yes. It was totally like, okay. Okay. I do. Well, Marissa Long is a friend of mine. Oh, wow. And Alexander Ludwig, that's great. I mean, Chris Messina, that's a brilliant, yeah. Can you go up a few? I do, I could see Caleb, Jonte Edwards causing some problems for me and some people in my life as well. What? I said, I'm looking forward to getting to know the guy. Of course. I think it's going to be completely brilliant. I think this is a great casting. I want to see Helena Bonham. I don't know what I want to see her do. I want to see her do it all. I'm curious. Wow. Brooke, we're saying, we are truly saying a whole lot of nothing today. That's fine. I want to see Helena Bonham act. Well, here's what I'll say about her. I've only seen her in like very dark roles. Yes. So I'm curious to see what she's like in this type of production. I'm going to make a call here and say that she's going to be an overwhelming protagonist in this season. I think she's going to be happy-go-lucky, and I think things will happen around her, but not directly to her. Okay. Let's keep our eye on that. And watch that space. Do we know when this is set to release? We do. 2027, possibly around May. Oh, they're not even filming. I guess they just cast. so um wait okay so yeah there was that very excited for that i don't want to be an actress but i want to be in white lotus you want to be a dead floating body no i want to be one of the cast members yeah that would be one of them that's that's that's a dream of mine too you and i could go in and and and die pretty quick yeah i fine with that me too mike white i could i just know that me and Mike White would be boys Yeah Speaking of boys Dan Levy and Rachel Sinnott have created a new comedy series together called Big Mistakes Okay. Is that not very cool? That is very cool. The series follows two incapable siblings who are blackmailed into the world of organized crime. Oh, that sounds fun. Doesn't that sound fun? Yeah. And they will star in it? Sorry. Who else is casted in this? I don't see Rachel Sinnott. Taylor Ortega Natalie So this is Natalie Ortega's sister Natalie Ortega was on Tour with me Oh And Jack Innan is in it Wow Okay Very fun I didn't realize they had already cast Upsetting But good for Jack And everyone else involved Um Great I'm looking forward to this We are getting By the way I'm about to read through Like a handful of TV Okay And film coming up And it's all really great One There's a Stranger Things Animated series Go to hell Let it go how long is this going to go on next we're going to get a riverdale animated series stranger things should be a lesson in like what not to do like they had me so yeah wrapped around their finger and then they just waited way too long like i've never not finished a series like except for stranger things you gotta let it the art of letting something go while it's still going really really well and everyone's on your side it should be studied and it should be put into practice by by by franchises of that scale well i wonder if it's the same thing as playing blackjack i wonder if you just can't like i just i could never if i have like 300 and i started with 100 like i'm gonna keep going even though i know i should walk away yeah and that's that's called a gambling addiction and that people go to rehab i wonder if it's the same thing like i wonder if the duffer brothers have a gambling addiction 100 they're they're addicted to it and guess what they We have an animated series coming out. Someone, their friends need, well, I'm sure. Wait, are they doing it? I mean, it's called Stranger. It's literally, look, it's literally first trailer for the animated Stranger Things series premiering April 23rd, and it's on Netflix. There's no way they're not doing it. Right. And collaboration with Flying Bark. Yeah, the duffer. I think I will watch it, unfortunately, just because I'm like craving a cartoon. You're part of the problem. But I think Odessa Zion is in it as she should be. She's struck gold recently. I don't need to even look at this any way. Who else is in it? Actually, I'm curious. Okay. Yeah, Odessa's in it. And that's all I know. Where are you seeing her? Oh, there she is. Cool. I'll probably watch. I mean do you think it means anything when your original cast won't stick around for another rendition no I would not expect them to you don't think Sidney Sink would be a voice Sadie no I would not expect them to I was talking about Sidney hey guys we want to take a quick break to thank a sponsor of today's episode Squarespace Squarespace is the all in one website platform designed to help you stand out and succeed online whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, Squarespace gives you everything you need to claim your domain, showcase your offerings with a professional website, grow your brand, and get paid all in one place. Hey guys, we want to take a break to thank a sponsor of today's episode, Bear Bells. I'm trying to be better about getting enough protein in during the day, but I'm going to be honest. If something tastes overly healthy or chalky, I'm probably not reaching for it again. That's why I've been loving Bear Bells protein bars. They're soft, satisfying, and actually something I look forward to eating. Bear Bell's bars have 20 grams of protein, no added sugar, and they genuinely taste like a candy bar. They do. And they have delicious flavors like cookies and cream, chocolate dough, cookies and caramel, and peanut butter. I love cookies and cream. I have like a ton of cookies and cream. They sell them like in front of my bodega. Yeah, I have a bodega. They sell them in front of shop, so I'm like always checking out and then I grab a couple. Bear Bell's protein bars are available at retailers like Target, Walmart, Vitamin Shoppe, and G&C. or use code BNC for 15% off at barebells.com. This episode of Brooke and Connor Makeup Podcast is presented by Heineken 00. Obviously, January is over, but you guys, that doesn't mean my Heineken 00 love is over, okay? And it's not, because last night, I went out for happy hour. I did not want to drink. I had a show later in the evening. I picked up a Heineken 00. I got to hang out with people. I'm sipping like it's my job, and it's not alcoholic. So, I mean, it was a win-win-win for me. You guys know I'm not a big drinker, so I love having an option that still lets me enjoy the experience without the alcohol. Let me take a sip of this crisp, refreshing beer. Without the alcohol. It really is a perfect alternative. And what time is it over there? I know that you usually start drinking pretty early in the day, so this is a good alternative for you. Exactly. It is 9A. So that's perfect for when you're craving that taste early in the morning and you might not want the alcohol. Yes, exactly. And having a great tasting non-alcoholic option, especially in the morning, lets me join in, hang out, enjoy a brew without needing a reason to explain myself. It's available at your local Heineken retailer or for delivery at heineken.com. Must be 21 plus to purchase. Enjoy Heineken responsibly. Okay, next. Who's ready? Me. Maggie Gyllenhaal has a new movie coming out, The Bride. Christian Bale plays Frank, who is obsessed with movie musicals. He develops a parasocial relationship with movie star played by Jake Gyllenhaal. The film features big budget musical sequences. Is it gay? It appears to be gay. This sounds great. Yep. It's Maggie Gyllenhaal's. She's cast her brother. This sounds awesome. And Jesse Buckley. Wow. When does this come out? It's horror? It doesn't say. It does. On here, it's horror. Oh, my God. It comes out next month. Wow. Exciting. Wait, this is completely different. This is in 1930 Chicago. A scientist brings a murdered young woman back to life. So I think this is a different film than what you might be reading or no. No, it's not. It's I'm reading it. do you have anything about bringing someone back to life in your synopsis i mean i'm sure that maybe that's just a high level plot point and they wanted to include what would do well on twitter okay can i'll be cruise too okay we'll watch the space yeah but if it's what if it's what you told me it is i'm pretty damn excited Now What do we know about Margo's Got Money Troubles? I want to read that What? I want to read that Okay, it's starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear, Thaddea Graham, and Nicole Kidman Premiering April 15th on Apple TV Yeah That's going to be really good Are we ready for the next one? Okay Lucky A new series starring Anya Taylor-Joy Anya? Anya good on ya and Timothy Olyphant okay they couldn't have picked two weirder names to put together good luck rest in peace to everyone involved the series follows a con artist who has to go on the run from both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss releasing July 15th on Apple TV okay I don't think something about Anya Taylor-Joy nothing ever nothing ever works for me so probably like this seems like it would be up my alley but it's like it just never works out no I don't think I'll watch that one and then I think I have one more and then we can just shift gears. Okay. All right. What do we think about they cast the Beatles? So there's a movie coming out, the Beatles. Yes. It's starring Barry Yogan. It's starring Paul Mescal. It's starring Harris Dickinson and it's starring Joseph Quinn. Right. There's some very, very spectrumed takes on these. There's some hot ones. There's some cold ones. no one likes Joseph Quinn's casting I like can't I struggle to perceive Barry with this hair I don't you like it? no I don't like anything really when I see him well I just said I struggle to perceive it oh okay yeah I'm in the same boot boot yeah it's tough It's a tough one. I do think he's a really talented actor, but he's hard. Like, I mean, it's just like. Yeah, that is not awesome. Like, I'm serious. If I saw him in person, I'd be like, I swear to God, he just cast a spell on me. Like, I feel cursed. And no offense to him. Like I said, he's very talented. Am I wrong or is this going to be four separate movies? Did I make that up? I think it's four movies. do you think I was too mean about how Barry Keoghan looks I know I think I'm sure he's aware and I said I was struggling to perceive him so I think you're fine it's four separate movies so they all come out at the same time so is there an order or is it like Bridgerton you can kind of like they're interconnected you can kind of read whenever sean mendez no sam sam mendez is directing oh um released in april 2028 designed as bingeable theatrical experience while all four films on individual members will be uh where they'll be released in the same month the specific day-to-day release order has not been finalized hey good time to get AMCA list and over two years from now now the thing is like like I gotta play pessimist here no I guess they're filming four movies I was just kind of like putting out four movies at once are these going to be in like box office or if it's bingeable it's probably streaming only right? oh I was thinking in theaters It's a theatrical experience Okay well what upsets me and my homegirls Is that if you can't go to Bella Noche Where the hell could you go One Two If you're beefing at a wedding You should just stay beefing at the wedding Why the hell would you take that to someone else's club Now three If you're releasing four movies Are you buying four movie tickets Like that's just like They are ripping us to shreds financially Not a few of A list I know but what a time to be like Hey we're releasing four movies Come see four movies That's like insane It is I don't think it's ever been done. First time for everything. Uh-huh. I have a, we can keep moving right ahead. I have one more that I'm going to, I'm going to pick up. When love is there and love is real, age won't matter. Age is thrown out the window when singles search for their soulmates in this new reality dating series hosted by Nick Vile and Natalie Joy. Age of Attraction comes to Netflix on March 11th. I'm excited. And I'm excited too. this is something I will be tuning into it appears to be Milf Island and I am excited to see how this goes I could see this going really well this is like a really good example of how we were talking about Dancing with the Stars being like it's a good combo of this and that and I was thinking like the Golden Bachelor has like just people their age and it's like okay what if this person's into younger people and what if this younger person's into older folks then this is a perfect combo. Absolutely. Do you believe that age is just a number in terms of dating? In terms of dating? I think age is just a number in general. I'm experiencing that right now. Yes. In real time. Okay. With dating? No, just in my life. Okay. Day to day. Got it. Just age is truly just a number. But if I was like, I want you to meet my boyfriend and I walked in the room with like a 58 year old, what would you think? What would I think? Honestly, unless he was a 14-year-old, I probably wouldn't say anything. I really don't. I'm not asking what you would say. I'm asking what you would think. What I would think? I'm also 58. What does he look like? Is he a looker? Listen, if you came in with- He's totally hot. Yes, Brooke. I would be like, look at you. There's my hussy. Yeah. I would what I would say is you come in with like you come in with like a Martin short you know and like I'd be like yes he's so fun like we got to get dinner you know like I would think that and he's paying but I'd be like this is awesome this is so fun I don't know like I'm not like yeah thank you first I think that if I came in with a 50 or 58 year old woman I think that you would your group text would be your phone would be vibrating off it's off it's the ringer well yeah but that has nothing to do with what I would say to you. Right. But yeah, I would I would I see that and would love that for you. Well, I'll be watching this show. When does it come out? Oh, I've known. March 11th. Okay, which is insane. We're having a good we're going to have a good month. We're going to have a good spring full of TV shows, which is going to be great because it's cold here. Is it cold there? No, It will be 80 something today Well I can't wait for next week I'm gonna go to the beach I don't know if it will say till next week I'm gonna put a gun in my mouth Let me see Drops into the 60s on Tuesday Oh drops of Jupiter That's just my luck Yeah But no I fully went to the beach And like got like a tan this last week Yeah you are glowing a bit That's very nice They haven't picked up the trash in New York in 12 days why because of the weather yeah it's pretty much like disgusting is that why you're holding on to your banana just yeah there's nowhere to put it out of respect for the street for the for yeah for the men on the streets and the women on the streets i absolutely need to hold on to any and any and all compostable items in my home is that not impressive though that there was a rotting banana sitting in the studio in my in my house and like i wouldn't sorry guys it's not gonna happen anymore i'm an adult man age is just a number though at the end of the day but i'm an adult that shouldn't be burping into the microphone i apologize and i own up for that although it's better out than in that's what my dad always says i wouldn't even call that rotting what your banana did it's like a different process it's like dehydrated yeah it's something remarkable which makes me think like if that banana dehydrated in such a way that it is rock hard what's happening to my body and lungs and organs in here i think it's a different thing fruit versus humans yeah that would be a good video again that i'm sure you would play i guess that's i mean like it it is fruit merge basically it's me against the fruits fabulous oh fabulosity um just like really quickly to touch on bridgerton are you watching bridgerton what what do you mean have you You always watch Bridgerton? Yes. And I have said from the beginning, you know, Jonathan Bailey, as Anthony, is one of the brothers. And I have always said from the beginning I a Benedict girl He another one of the brothers which is crazy because like you have a brother that played by Jonathan Bailey And I you know I in a relationship with one of the other brothers which is you know insane And I have said years ago, his season, once you see Luke Thompson on the big screen, is going to change lives. I don't know who Luke Thompson is. He plays Benedict. Is that the character? He plays Benedict. Benedict is one of the brothers that I, I'm a Benedict girl, right? he's changing lives in front of our eyes he's the artistic one you know you would love him he loves to go out oh he looks like Jonathan Bailey well they play brothers but I think he's just a white guy but anyway I saw him in a play two years ago in London and I just I guess it was on Obsessed but I was like mark my words like it is this season is going to be the end of us all And if you haven't started watching yet, I would. That's it. It's pretty severe. Really awesome in a scary way. So that's that. It's so nice to have something to come home to. It is, except for they only released four episodes and then the next four they're releasing on February 26th, I believe. So what I would also say is if you're enjoying this season so far, go ahead and read the book. you can read it before the rest of the series comes out that's a fun little thing to hold you over I really enjoyed the book Bridgerton is a book? Bridgerton started as a book series wow people love doing that it's a classic isn't it? yeah adaptions are epic oh totally epic something else I wanted to flag is that I've gotten really close to my Spotify DJ recently I never really used him before but yesterday he let me know I'm in John Travolta's top 1% of listeners. From like musicals? I guess it's from Greece. But like, isn't that an amazing thing to be? Yeah. It makes me feel special. Because like how many other people can say that? Is John Travolta still with us? Yeah. Didn't. Olivia Newton John is not. Was. Oh, no. Was he in some hot water or no? Yes, but I'm pretty much confused by his existence and like what has he been in. He has gotten, he has been taking the rocks school of roundness. How has he gotten so perfectly round? I just never get like bald guys like when they have like no hair like at all. Like no like little stubble. You know when it's like shiny Well yeah I mean he's Has so much money I'm sure that they have people For that to make him shiny But I wonder how His head almost comes to a point I wonder if I had no hair on my head I've always said I know for a fact I have the ugliest scalp Yeah I don't think I would look like this I think that people would really be like How long do you have left Yeah i would like be spending hours and years at the dermatologist if my scalp was on display like there's so much when i feel my scalp i'm just like i don't know what this is and i don't want to know brook it's not my business you bet your fat ass it would feel so good to get in your bed with a bald head like crawling around like an earthworm i would be burrowing in all my pillows like head first like like this like oh like you just probably slide back i would get silk sheets i would put my bald head all up and i would probably sleep with my head at the end of my bed because i'd be under the cover around oh my god i would grease myself up like a sea lion and i would you know those videos are sea lions and they're upside down and they're going to the kelp force yeah me in my bed yeah i would shave you know what if i go bald i'm shaving my whole body. You don't really have any hair anywhere else. I have hair on my legs. I have more. On your legs? Yeah. That's all to say. You probably do. You have light hair. I have no hair on my arms, no hair on my thighs. Back. No hair on my back. I'm jealous of your legs and shit like that. Well, congrats what try not to burp that was really hard i held it in though um um are i don't know have you been on tiktok recently um not really i mean like obviously like yeah but not in a way that's like i'm consuming new content it's more just like i get a lot of ai foods talking like this rice this animated rice it's like don't put me in the fridge something something and then like a banana store me at room temperature or else i'll something you know you just get a lot of getting angry fruits and vegetables i'm getting the animated medication i'm potassium don't take me in the morning yeah i'm i i'm gonna make your stomach hurt i'm like Ooh, potassium evil. It is helping me so much. I hope they're using that in schools because if it already exists, like obviously we shouldn't feed into, you know, demand breeds production for these AI videos. Like if we're eating them up and they're doing, they're being engaged, which they are. I'm sure the creators are like, let's do more of these. But it is really. No, I have, I have learned a lot about how to store my food. That's all I'll say. storing food the medication are the supplements i'm taking really really fabulous stuff happening on ai animated medications unfortunately pretty sucked in i have lost about 2500 and our tiktok followers from just not opening the app the past two weeks which has been a fabulous uh a fabulous purge see ya don't let the door hit you on the way out is one two please come back Like I'm just taking a small break You know like I'm still me Do you still post on TikTok? I haven't posted in a while You know I have my TikTok fatigue Where it's like there's just always a new person That's so funny And I'm like that should be me Like I should have come up with that idea And then I'm like I don't even want to be on here If they're on here But I hear that there's a new Bald eagle couple on TikTok Jackie and Shadow That like people are pretty much gushing over Oh my God, I don't know Jackie and Shadow. Yeah, and this is like one of my favorite things. I love these. I've always been obsessed, like at the rodeo in Houston, they always used to have like a little incubator that would have a lot of small chickens and chicks in it, and they would be hatching from eggs, and I would be locked in just watching them come to Earth for the first time and be cracking through the shell, crack, crack, crack, and then their beak gets out, and then their little gross body follows. But these bald eagles, they're a couple. It's Jackie and Shadow. Oh, I thought one human was like a human. No, Jackie and Shadow are both eagles. Oh. And you see here, there's closure. I mean, they talked back and forth from wherever Jackie was. They're chatting. Something ate one of their eggs before Jackie joined him in the nest after being gone for nine hours. They both broke out into the most beautiful in-depth conversation. Yes, I don't think I've ever witnessed them being vocal for so long. Who is reporting on them? This is like one of the So this is one of my favorite things Like I would like to watch During the Superbowl I would like to have like a thumbnail Of Jackie and Shadow's Like a red zone type situation But it's a GoPro nest Live stream of Jackie and Shadow's nest They've gone through ups They've gone through downs And they're still together And their resilience is something Something from days of yore Like this is a magical thing that these two have I think you could all learn a lot They're grieving parents too They have lost several babies Yeah, Jackie and Shadow displays The resilience and devotion to each other I hope they move on And possibly have another clutch of eggs Yes I'm trying to remember what happened to their OG eggs A raven A raven ate them And I'm a fan of ravens, that's the thing If we were watching, if I was watching A GoPro video of the raven And I'd be clapping. I'd be cheering. My shirt would be off. I would have the R. I could probably recruit A-V-E-N, you know, to be in the stands cheering for Raven. Unfortunately, I'm on Jackie and Shadow side. So this was sad to see. And they still stuck together. I do hope that they have another clutch of eggs. I'm on that. I'm on. I subscribe to that. What was that animal that kind of recently was being filmed and they were pregnant, but it was immaculate conception? Was it the mountain lion? No, it was. It was definitely an aquatic. I think it was a gator. Was it a stingray? Yeah. It was a stingray. It was a stingray. What happened to the pregnant stingray? They figured out that like it was not immaculate conception at all. Like one of the other stingrays fucked it. No, but there were no other stingrays. Something else had happened. Like something had had sex. I think maybe it wasn't pregnant. Was it full of gas and farts? What ended up happening? She's sick. Charlotte. This is a year ago. I was saying Charlotte alone's stingray is pregnant. aquarium now says she's sick okay this seems like a cover-up now like not to be a conspiracy theorist but like maybe the government might have had a hysterical pregnancy brooke you shouldn't say that that's a that's a genuine that's a real thing she died she passed away the major update okay they killed her a rare reproductive disease she she was very vocal about not being suicidal and then now she's dead it was a mass or fluid build up rather than actual babies yeah that's so that a lot they love to say that it was a fluid buildup confirming her death after months of medical issues yeah right right that's so upsetting wake up people like this should not be happening so often when else did it happen um how many whistleblowers died during that boeing thing they were full of fluid too I wonder whatever happened there It's funny We haven't heard anything from the Boeing folk in a while By the way Boeing huge fan love your work I have to fly tomorrow Um Are you going to LA tomorrow No I'm going to the Super Bowl tomorrow The Super Bowl is tomorrow It's on Sunday Then how are you going tomorrow I'm going out to San Francisco tomorrow Is that where the Super Bowl is Yes Yeah I'm very excited That will be a Patriots are going who's in the big game this year. Patriots. That's why I'm such a, I'm like, so, so, so, so, so stoked. Listen to this. Aiden, our friend is just a huge fan. I'm going, I'm going with Abercrombie and Fitch. Wow. But yeah, I'm stoked on that. But, um, he bought a ticket cause he's such a Patriots fan. He's from Boston. How much does it take it to the Superbowl run you? I didn't ask, but like I was, he's like, this happens once in a lifetime. I'm going to go. Well, I'm just curious. Not saying this is how much he paid, but it is. Whoa. It's a pretty severe range. It's forty five hundred to over fifty thousand. That is just in. That is crazy. OK, sorry. Continue. No, that's all I really had. But listen to my travel schedule coming up. Is it going to give me hives? Yeah. I mean, my. it's not lost on me how incredible the things I'm about to say are. Like, it's like, this is, this is like when I'm like, my life is a movie. This is like, Timothee Chalamet, what I'm about to say. I'm going to San Francisco for the Superbowl. I'm coming to LA to see you guys. We're going to record in person. It's going to be amazing. I'm going to leave you. I'm going to go to Vancouver for my, just for laughs show, which I'm so excited about. You know how much I love Vancouver. And it's going to be huge. I think I'm playing this theater that I really love. Like, and then I leave Vancouver and I fly from Vancouver to Milan. Oh my. For the Olympics. Oh, we need to chat about that. I'm out of town for the Olympics. Oh, we'll be fine. Okay. Yeah. We'll be fine. That's crazy. Yes. Why did I tell you that? Just because it's insane. Yeah, I'm so excited. I think I might be going to New York in April. What? I think I might be going to New York in April. Will you let me know your dates when you get a second? Yeah, I don't have them, but. Okay. I did a show. Okay, get this. You want to hear something crazy? Oh, God, yeah. Okay, I'm done burping, you guys. Please stop. I did a show with Noelle last night, our boss, Noelle. How was that? It was great. So I, like, I'm doing a show with Noelle Miller. I'm thinking, oh, I'm opening. And I was. I was opening. So I'm thinking, I got 15. I love opening. You know, it's 15 minutes. Usually like when I did it with Jake Shane, like people don't, there's, the stakes are very low for me. I'm doing 15 minutes at the top. Going out as an opener, people already, they viscerally react to jokes. I don't know the science of it at all. Cause you know, I used to go out first and when I go out at the end to close, people were so like excited to see, you know, happy and like excited. It's cause they were warmed up. You have to warm up the crowd. And I didn't notice that until I started having openers that like, oh, going out cold and you're the first person they see there's a visceral reaction to you could say the funniest joke in the world they don't just go stone face they actually frown they go go home you know so i think i'm getting there it was at the the college of new jersey which fabulous place okay i've never actually heard of that do you know where in new jersey college of new jersey where new jersey is the college of new jersey uh it's in central jersey okay a place that doesn't even exist really if you think about it now um i get there or i'm almost there it's like two hours from manhattan and then i'm like cool you know i'm just doing 15 minutes to go no no you have an hour you're doing like 45 to an hour tonight i go oh that changes things i didn't figure out till like 15 minutes away that i was doing like 45 minutes but it was a great show i had so much fun and you just kind of have a show tonight pivoted on the spot i pivoted wow pivot yeah you pivot that's what you have to do a master of your trade don't be crazy bro don't be crazy seriously all right champ i have to use the restroom i'm sure you do too we're just ending on me like just telling you stuff about what happened to me like i don't want to i don't want to end on that well what would you like to end on i want to end on something and you can walk away whenever you feel uninterested i just want to like bring something to light remember when there was when labubo started coming out and there was like a group of people that was like these are demonic like these are these are harboring demonic spirits you can you can go pee i can just hey i can handle this no it's all good i really truly think i'm on their side now when labuboos came out and they've quietly like kind of faded into the back and they were being 3d printed they were like at shein and they're like at every bodega and they're at every kiosk at the mall they're spraying perfume they're putting a slip but I, labubu and your bag. They're selling them as like, buy, spend this much money, get a labubu. I do think that maybe they might've been harboring some sort of spirit from the, like a dark spirit. Cause things have really gone. I'm not one of those people that's like, Oh, we're in hell. Everything that I like the world ended in 2020 and this is hell. But I do think that maybe labubus might've brought something, brought something with them. I'd like to look into the origin of labubus and who created them and what was the reason. And was it just cute or was there an underlying? Hmm. Maybe it's a thinker. Maybe we dive into that in bonus. Okay. We can also look at how Matt Reif's ownership of that haunted object. I really think Annabelle thing is going. Yeah. He owns Annabelle. Yeah. Let's look into that as well. Okay. All right. Well, we'll, we'll leave you there. If anyone has the answers, R.E. La Boo Boo and their creation and their purpose here on earth. Let a bitch know. Let us know. Sorry. Let us know if you have any suggestions for us to read somewhere in between Milking Farm and Jane Eyre. Thank you guys for listening. Thank you. We will see your ass next week. Have a good weekend. Goodbye.
