Insights
  • Trump administration allegedly paid $3 billion to Iran through UAE intermediaries to halt retaliation, contradicting previous MAGA claims of strength in negotiations
  • Iran's Foreign Minister publicly detailed deal terms including control of Strait of Hormuz, Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, and potential $300 billion reconstruction plan
  • Regional geopolitical realignment occurring with UAE moving away from Israel alignment toward Iran negotiations despite previous drift toward Israel
  • Republican officials attempting damage control by deflecting to unrelated topics like California gas prices rather than addressing Iran deal specifics
  • Significant disconnect between Trump administration's pre-deal rhetoric about 'powerful deals' and actual negotiated terms favoring Iranian interests

Donald Trump's entire cabinet and top MAGA supporters in the House and Senate are absolutely panicking as the deal terms are becoming revealed between the Trump regime and Iran after Donald Trump's sycophants have been out there saying we're going to do the most powerful, strong deal ever. We're going to get everything we want and we're going to make Iran submit. As we're hearing what these terms are, it seems like it's the exact opposite of what the Trump regime said was going to happen. Now let me be very clear, we should never have been involved in this unlawful and catastrophic war where Trump and Netanyahu invaded Iran in the first place. I'm glad that we potentially could be moving closer to resolution, but we've been down this path before. Although this time, for the first time, Iran is signaling that they believe that there is a deal in principle or framework to have a deal that is on the horizon, which we haven't quite heard that before. But as we're learning what's going down, Foreign Minister Eranji of Iran laid out his proposal, his understanding of it. And I'll tell you what he just told to Iranian state media. And now we're seeing the reactions fast and furious from Trump regime sycophants and they're trying to do everything they can to change the topic. You've got these MAGA people who are like, and Gavin Newsom is to blame for the high gas prices. And then you have MAGA Republican Congress member Randy finally just trust in Trump. Just trust him. We don't even have to even question it. Just do whatever he says he's going to do. And then you have a very vulnerable MAGA Republican senator from Ohio, John Euston, saying, I'll admit that the war part we were pretty good at, but the peace part, not so much. And he's trailing behind in his Senate race. Let me show you what we're now learning. Like one of the things we're learning. And I think this is a pretty big deal is that the way the Trump regime got Iran to stop retaliating against the United States and Israel last weekend when the U.S. and Israel violated the ceasefire was basically paying off Iran, $3 billion laundered or moved through the United Arab Emirates. So like $3 billion was literally handed to Iran before there was even this current concept of a framework. And just think about all the times that Donald Trump and MAGA would attack former President Obama. You went with loads of cash and $1.7 billion was put on airplanes when that's not what happened at all. It was unfreezing funds that Iran claimed from like decades ago as part of a comprehensive multilateral JCPOA deal, which was not a framework, but was an actual deal with teeth, with compliance that brought in the entire world to ensure that Iran didn't get nuclear weapons. But now we're learning that this $3 billion payment was made as Gregory Brewe explains, the UAE, the United Arab Emirates has agreed as part of this Trump Iran framework that's being formed to release billions of dollars to Iran as part of a deal to reduce bilateral tensions and assist in reopening the Strait of Ramuz. It could be as much as $20 billion, $3 billion has already been given to Iran, confirming rumors from earlier this week. This move comes after the Emirates emerged as the single largest target for Iranian missiles and drones during the war, as Ali Abadi explains, the assumption I had throughout until recently was not that the entire GCC was moving closer to Israel, but that UAE certainly was. UAE seemed to be drifting towards Israel, even over Saudi objections. Now it seems regional powers are trying to move back towards the anti-bellum trajectory, as as Ali puts it, but meaning moving away from Israel. Israel has been weakened significantly during this invasion, the Netanyahu started with Trump and doing bilateral deals with Iran. Foreign Minister Erdogci took to their state TV and he said that they are in the final stages of negotiations. He said the deal, if signed, will be signed remotely by both the United States and Iran. Iran Foreign Minister Erdogci says control over the Strait of Ramuz will rest with Iran and Oman. That Trump, in addition to already giving $3 billion to Iran, is confirming that Iran and Oman have control that the Strait of Ramuz is not an international waterway. He said Iran and Oman have provided security and operational services to vessels for years, free of charge, but management of the Strait will not return to the way it was before the war. Erdogci added that consultations have been held with Oman and a joint plan may be announced soon, including future fees for services in the Strait. Iranian Foreign Minister Erdogci also said that ending the war under the Memorandum of Understanding also means the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon. We have stated that clearly Erdogci has said. And Erdogci says that their diplomacy has the duty to consolidate the achievements of the armed forces. We have had direct communications with armed forces during the 40-day war. The MOU will include to end the war on all fronts, including Lebanon. We will never leave Lebanon alone. The MOU has 14 items, which has not yet been complete, and additional details will be added. There are two stages. The first begins with the MOU, followed by negotiations to reach a final agreement. The opposing party will commit to not using force, and both parties will commit to respecting national sovereignty. We have discussed reconstruction as part of a broader reconstruction and economic development plan. Some have said that could be as much as $300 billion. The exact mechanisms will be finalized in the next negotiations. The best possible agreement means the best deal achieved through two-sided negotiations. And then he goes on to say that after the agreement is finalized, everyone will see. We will post what the agreement is transparently. That's what Foreign Minister Erdogci has said. All right, in response, you have Magna Republican Congress member Randy Fine, who is a Trump and Netanyahu bootlicker. Here's what Randy Fine had to say play this clip. Stop this morning. APNORC has a new poll showing the president losing support from independents since the 2024 election. 43% of the independents supported him during the campaign. Only about a quarter do today. The drop particularly pronounced among independents without a college degree. Very interesting. What do you make of this? And could this be trouble for November? No, I don't necessarily believe any of those polls. I believe in election day is what really matters. If I believe the polls, we would have lost every single race. This is the president who's gone to bat for the average American worker since he's been elected. Look at the record setting investments. Look at the no tax on tips over time in social security. He's going to bat every single day. When Washington elitists turn their backs on the American worker, this president has gone to bat for him. And I think that as we do things like the midterm convention and explain to the American people all these wonderful things that the president has done, and you show the contrast between having somebody that believes in law and order, believes in shutting down the borders versus the free for all and the liberal left wing fanatics that they've nominated to represent their party from Platinum in Maine to potentially El Said and Tala Frico in Texas. These guys have given us an incredible gift. We have incredibly strong candidates. And I think that we're like I said, I think we're moving forward. I'm very, very excited about the upcoming elections. And then of course you have all of the magas right now trying to attack California. Yeah, they're trying to attack Newsom. And they're not even making sense. Doug Burgum, the Interior Secretary is out there saying the problem with California is they were so dependent on the Strait of Hormuz. You see, California was all in. They had all their chips in on Hormuz unlike other states. So that has nothing to do with the Strait of Hormuz. You just said they're all in on their Hormuz. It has nothing to do with their Hormuz. Watch this guy flail here, play this clip across the country, but they're going to drop on evenly because some states, I mean, for example, California, California was importing two months ago 60% of their oil from foreign countries. California was dependent on oil coming from the Strait of Hormuz. No other state other than Hawaii had that condition. But that was self-inflicted. And with that, California is shutting down refineries. They used to have 40 refineries. They're heading towards having six. Texas has 38 refineries. Yes, guess who's got the most number of internal combustion machines? California. They are going to have high gas prices. You can thank Gavin Newsom for that and their state legislature for the policies they put in. That has nothing to do with the Strait of Hormuz. Okay. All right, sir. And then by the way, as part of this interview, Bergam says, look, look, look, when we're talking about the high price of gas right now, it's only in some states. That's the thing. It's like you telling me the United States is 40 degrees. It's very hot somewhere. So that's like gas prices because it's only high in blue states. Dude, what are you talking? Get your MAGA talking points out of your mouth. Gas is high everywhere in this country. Red states, blue states, not everything is Democrat, Republican. Okay, man. People are suffering in this country. Realize that, Bergam. Here, play this clip. Well, I think what you're, one thing that you're seeing is when I have to smile every time I see on a screen the national average for gasoline because it's about like if a weather reporter said, here's the temperature in America tomorrow is going to be 46 degrees. I mean, it's not a criticism of Fox, but it's the price of gasoline varies across our whole country largely right now by state policy and state taxes, not by the underlying fundamentals. The underlying fundamentals like you open with, we're producing more oil and exporting more oil than we ever have producing more natural gas than we ever have. We are an abundant nation. And then you had John Euston, a very vulnerable MAGA senator from Ohio who is running behind in the 2026 midterm Senate elections. And he's out there now saying, all right, well, I think we were good at blowing things up, but like we're not good at peace, I guess. Um, I guess, really? Really? I mean, maybe you should do your job and ensure that a war powers resolution is passed. So that Donald Trump can be restrained from getting involved in unlawful and catastrophic wars. How about that? Euston, we have a problem here. Play this clip. Well, the military aspect of it went very well. The peace aspect is not proven to be as efficient. America is in a situation where Iran is not negotiating in good faith. We need to open the Strait of Hormuz. They need to be a rational actor. And, you know, taking shots at American Apache aircraft is not going to be something that the president is going to accept. And so he's had proportional strikes in response to that. But I'm hopeful that we'll get Iran back to the table so that we can get the Strait of Hormuz open. That we can begin to reduce oil prices and gas prices for the people of America and people around the world. There you have it, folks. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe.
