Two podcast hosts discuss the premiere episodes of Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Atlanta, and Beverly Hills, analyzing cast dynamics, relationship drama, and standout personalities. The conversation focuses heavily on RHORI's new cast members, particularly Alicia, Liz, and Joellen, while examining themes of infidelity, business stress, and on-camera authenticity.
Insights
- Casting success depends on finding naturally connected women with authentic energy rather than manufactured drama; RHORI's cast demonstrates organic relationships spanning years or lifelong connections
- Reality TV amplifies relationship stress by capturing moments of disconnection; couples entering production should recognize cameras will highlight existing vulnerabilities, especially in high-stress situations like new businesses
- Denial and deflection in response to infidelity allegations backfire on reality TV; owning mistakes quickly (like Bronwyn's necklace incident) neutralizes narrative control by critics
- Influencer status creates unique challenges when combined with hands-on business ownership; the tension between leveraging audience and maintaining operational control creates unsustainable stress
- Insensitive language about family structures (using 'produce' regarding children) can alienate audiences and damage cast relationships, particularly with stepparents in blended families

I'm from the ocean state, and in my life, drama comes in waves. When people ask me, do you work, I say, what do you fucking think? I work alongside the OG of the OC, I'm exhausted. I love that it was like tagline, but also live journal. Yeah, you know, it's like, it's like to break the fourth wall right there a little bit. Listen, I'm here for it. You guys, it's Andy's girls. I don't even know what episode. I think we're in the 780s maybe, I couldn't even tell you. But so excited for this deep dive. So welcome back to the podcast, Content Creator and co-host of the pod, my friend, my soulmate, my podcast, with none other than my birthday twin, Victoria Gumbelson, Christian Grace. No, Christian, how are we? I'm well, how are you? I'm so good. So this is very fun, because we're doing like a full on, it's what I like to call a classic pod swap. So I was on- It actually is, yeah. Then I got to see you like twice in a week, like, hello, I need to do this more often, you know? I know, I'll see you tomorrow. So if anybody wants to listen to our episode on your show, they can listen to it now. I had so much fun and I'm so thankful to you for returning the favor. There's so much for us to discuss. I mean, we have the Atlanta premiere. We have arguably, I mean, is it even arguable? A genuinely interesting episode of Beverly Hills. Rhode Island, Alicia hit someone with her car. So it's like- Well, we're sorry to that woman, but this was an iconic conversation, yes. Also, just like Sidebar, how were there no follow-ups? Is that I feel like that was primed for the reunion of like what happened to her? The best part of that all is there's just something about her saying, look, I've been there, I've done that when it comes to driving. It's like, yeah, I would say, you know, taking out another human, you absolutely have done maybe everything there is to do when it comes to driving. Like, girl, what the fuck? I mean, I have to say, I am so obsessed with Alicia. When she talks about not wanting to go in the little highway, I know exactly what she's talking about on I-95 because they're like doing construction. It's a year's long thing. She has crackers in her bag all the time. I always have crackers in my bag, emergency sodium, because I have a nervous system disorder and other stuff. She loves Britney Spears. I love Britney Spears. She loves Britney Spears. What's her child's name, Celine? I don't think that's right. I think Selena, or Celine. Is it Selena or Celine? I think so. Everything about her is so deeply important to me. And it's like, I want to get your thoughts on like who are your roses and thorns on the show so far, but I just have to say, like there's something about, I mean, there are three people that I'm obsessed with, but there's something about the specific energies of Alicia and Liz that I find, I'm like obsessed with them. I agree. It's what this franchise was created for, was for women like that bring the energy that they bring the first time you meet them. And they don't bring the same energy. They're very much different, but it's undeniably like that. I don't know, like that it factor that, like to me there's no, there's zero percent chance that the first time casting, whoever from casting met with them, their keyboard was about to like go on fire. They were probably like typing out the emails so fast. Like we got one, we got one. Like those two, to me, those are the kinds of women, like if you happen to find them first, that's who you like build a series around. You're like, okay, if we can find people connected to her, we might have something here. But that's another good thing also about Rhode Island is that none of these people are really newbies to each other. Like it doesn't feel that way anyway. Like they all really, truly have crossed paths naturally, multiple times and in some cases for their whole lives. So yeah, I'm fascinated with both of them for sure. And the only person who like sort of is kind of new to the group is Ashley who I think currently like it does work to me. It does work even though she's like really famous, like a huge content creator, she just seems very normal. Yeah, she does seem, I will say she seemed the most like, when I say like the everyday life of it all, she seemed to be the one that was the most like normal and the one that you would like resonate with the most in that regard. However, you know, I saw somebody tweet there like, she just kind of, she did feel like kind of maybe a little bit of an outsider in some regards. I think maybe even to the stories and the being privy to the little, the backstories of these situations, you know, but at the same time, I do think that that can be important because it kind of allows a voice for the audience in those moments, like they'll, they're going to naturally maybe have some of the same questions that we do, so nothing gets left off the table or you know what I'm saying? So I think in terms of discussion and conversation, it's important to have someone there that is honestly, like you said, she's perfectly loosely connected, you know, like she's not too, too connected, but she's not completely oblivious, I think, you know, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Rhode Island does not seem like a very big state. So I mean, they had to have like at least known of each other in some regard, I would think, you know, before doing the show, but yeah, I will talk more about Ashley later, I'm sure, but yeah, she does seem like the one that's maybe a little bit like outside of the group, but as you said, I agree with you in some ways it works because I think she's kind of going to help navigate those conversations and pull out the things, you know, with curiosity that we at home want to know. And judging by her history on all of the Bachelor franchises and also the trailer, like the crying thing is legit, like she cries at the drop of a hat, and yet the sense that I get is she, maybe other people in the cast will find her annoying as they do everyone else, but I don't see her being like on an island isolated because she comes across to me as very likable and what she's struggling with, with Jared, I think is really understandable. I also just have to say for the record, like, what was he envisioning that being in the food and Bev industry would be like? Like did he think that this would be the money maker and his celebrity would catapult it? He'd get coffee at 5 a.m. That means you're making it at 3.30 and 4. You're gonna be like, you know what I'm saying? And then that's just, and then you have your creatives that work late at night. So you're still there. Like, I mean, perhaps, I don't know if perhaps he envisioned a, you know, invest type of thing, a silent owner. I don't really know. And perhaps he's wanting to get it to a certain place before he like to bring someone in to take over everything and steps out. I don't really know, but. How can he be surprised? And for me, it has to be incredibly frustrating for her because it's kind of like obviously she knew this was coming, you know? And then to me too, like think about those first days that we know when they pick up cameras and all that stuff. Like it's a whole team, 10, 15 people in your house. You're getting to know them. You'll likely develop relationships with them, but how fucking embarrassing. Those first few days of production and you're bringing these people into your home and your businesses and your life and you can't even fucking look at me before you put the fucking syrup in the coffee. Like, give me a second. You just got mic'd up. We're working. We are working. You know what I'm saying? Like this is another paycheck to add so that hopefully you can fucking get the fuck out of this coffee shop at some point. You know what I'm saying? So work with me here. That had to be difficult. And I'm sorry. For me, it was difficult to even watch. Like him continuing to like tap out of the conversation, you know? But yeah, he needs to, number one, get a reality check because anything and like you said, food and bed of hospitality, hello, it's literally 24 seven. It's nonstop. But then number two, I mean, I think that they really do have a good relationship and a solid foundation. And I think that something like this really, really can cause cracks really quickly. And I think that he needs to, hopefully doing a show or something like this will be the mirror that he needs, you know, to be like, okay, I need to fucking get it together. Yeah. And the nice thing I have to say is that he does appear to be self-aware. And so while there's some stuff going on, like mental health related, stress levels related, I'm at least as an outsider watching this comforted by the fact that he is attempting to reassure his wife, like, listen, I'm going through something right now. It is not your fault. It is not you. It's not the kids. I'm just kind of like riding this wave. But of course, if you're his wife, if you're his partner, his spouse, like you're going to be concerned and you're going to take that on the stress of it because you want to support your partner. But also I'm sure a part of you is like, what can I do to make this better? I feel bad. Of course, of course. And then on top of that, the human, I mean, we're all human. It's like, they have two little kids, you know what I'm saying? And so it's like, there have to be moments, of course, where she resents him and wishes that fucking coffee shop would burn to the ground. You know what I'm saying? Because she's like, I am at home with shit on my hands, chasing around screaming children and you're fucking making matches. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's get the fuck out of here. But to me, and this kind of goes back to what I said, it seems like they have a good relationship and a good foundation. There does seem to really be a lot of care there. You know, like I really think that they, because I didn't watch her stuff on The Bachelor and all that. So I'm coming in as I would with any other Housewives premiere, you know, she's brand new to me. But yeah, it seems like she clearly sees the issue. And I think he sees the issue. But there's just not yet a meeting of the minds on when and how they have to stop sucking it up and actually make a change. Like, for him, it's kind of like just grit and bear it with me for a second. And she's like, the second's over. You know what I'm saying? Like, I've been bearing it. So, you know, and again, these shows, it'll either be a blessing or it'll be, it'll be a source of heartbreak because it will be, like I said, the mirror that he needs to be like, okay, that's number one. That's embarrassing. Like, I can't even fucking like pay attention to my wife, you know, for making this like, you know, cinnamon roll iced coffee over here, but it's or... Cinnamon roll iced coffee. I know that's not the one you. I know that's not the one you. It has to be. Absolutely, absolutely. Donut latte. Yeah. But it's or, you know, as we've unfortunately seen, more times than we can count, it is the driver of things that aren't reputable. So I don't really know. But I hope that, you know, it's early on in the game with further them as far, and they're not new to this. I mean, they quite literally met in this genre of entertainment, reality, specifically dating. Hello, if I'm like, if y'all can handle that, y'all need to be able to get through this, but they absolutely have to make some changes. And look at two, we all know how things, you know, production can capture one moment of something where it seems like he's putting too much thought into work and not paying her any mind. And it's like, we're leaning the fuck into it, you know? And therefore all the moments that he remotely makes her feel not seen and not important will be captured and highlighted in the beginning of her story every episode. So I want to give that consideration too. I don't want to immediately be like, oh my God, like get it together, dude, you know, cause that it's easy to be that way. But, yeah, back to the cinnamon roll iced coffee. It was getting a lot more time and attention than Ashley was, you know? I will say this, I was supposed to go to Rhode Island last week-ish, it got rescheduled, I'm going this weekend. I need to figure out the timing cause it's very real that if you are more than a 10 minute drive, I just can't find the time of the day cause that's like an all day journey. But I am thinking of trying to convince the Tobes cause I'm not going to drive. Much like Alicia, I'm like, you're not going to get me off route too. You've been there done that, right? I have been there done that. I hadn't heard of Audrey's, but that doesn't mean anything cause I don't live in Rhode Island, but I'm from Rhode Island. So I need to convince the Tobes to go on a little weekday instead of shout out Felicia's. I know Kelsey Swanson knows what I'm talking about. And I guess also Rosie, East Grown Itch, you get your iced coffee at Felicia's. But I think we're going to have to go to Audrey's cause I'm like, I just want to see it. I really do. He's spending a hundred hours a week there and let me go, what's there to see? Well, you know what I'm saying? Let me go check it out too. It must be a spot. 91% of dog parents say their pup is an important part of the family. And if you ask my mother, the Tobes, Chester, our 17 and a half year old, Chishapoo is her favorite child. I am all about a new beginning and not just because the real housewives of Rhode Island is finally here. It's taken me a minute to redesign my apartment into a space that truly feels like me and the last step was decorating my bedroom. There are so many different options out there. It was hard to narrow things down, which is why I am so thankful for Boland Branch. Boland Branch creates everything you need to make your bed feel finished. Signature sheets, supportive pillows, cozy blankets, and luxurious comforters, all crafted from high quality organic materials. Most people building a new bed start with two sheetsets and a comforter and then layer in a waffle blanket for texture and extra comfort. The result is a bed that looks beautiful and feels amazing the moment you get into it. And that was absolutely my experience. I have the Signature Hems Sheet Set and the Waffle Bed Blanket, both in the color pewter, which is this beautiful, almost light, creamy gray. And my sleep has gotten better. The room looks incredible. Tofu has actually claimed the blanket as his own. And PS, the sheets have gotten even softer after washing. Upgrade your sleep with Boland Branch. Get 15% off your first order plus free shipping at bolandbranch.com slash andesgirls with code andesgirls. That's Boland Branch, B-O-L-L-A-N-D, branch.com slash andesgirls. I don't remember where it is, but I assume it's not in the Providence area, thank God, because that would genuinely be a schlep. So I'm considering it, because there are no other, I mean, everybody else. This could be the first of many, you know, Housewives Endeavors for this franchise. So I say, I'm all about supporting Housewives businesses. Like, I mean, when I die, I wanna be buried in my Meredith Marks Turkish robe. It's hot pink. We got strings flying everywhere, but I don't really care, because I'm gonna be cremated anyway, but put me in that shit, you know what I'm saying? But you know what, I won't say too, and this was interesting to me, because again, I, look, and I'm very well versed in the Housewives world, but it's embarrassing to say I could walk in Audre's and probably wouldn't have known who he was, okay? To me, it is very interesting that someone of that influencer status and the platform that they have is able to work at a coffee shop all day long. And because that means you clearly have a community of people that recognize you and follow you. So I'm like, is that, like I'm trying to think of another influencer that I, like a lifestyle influencer that I like. But to me, it's like, that would, it's like putting a celebrity behind the bar of a coffee shop. You know, I'm saying like, I'm not getting inundated all the time with people wanting to take pictures and stuff. I don't, maybe they're, I don't know if they're, if the fandom is like that in that, for that show. But like to me, I mean, maybe it's the same as like, you go into Koto and see a Vicky behind the desk. I don't know, but I, to me, it was just shocking because I was like, well, because she said too, she was like, he could, you know, he could do his own thing off his influencer deals alone. So I'm like, well, why is he choosing to, you know, it just doesn't click. Something doesn't click for me in that regard. Like, I thought it would not even add more stress to the time, all this time you're spending there if you can't work because you have fans and, you know, supporters coming in. I don't know. I mean, conversely, that's a great driver because it's so hard to open a small business because the economy in Rhode Island has been, you know, tricky to say the least. I mean, I think that's one of the reasons, but I don't know how far that goes because that's one of those things, like me, I go in, I might get at a double decap espresso, say hi, and then go in my merry way, but you want to develop that community in that village of people who hear about the coffee shop not because it's rated just below John Bon Jovi's somewhere, but because you actually like the coffee. I mean, I don't think people are gonna waste money more than once unless they really see something of value here. And I do credit him because as his wife said, like he could, not just, but like he could take advantage of his audience and focus on that. He doesn't want to do that. He wants to go into another form of business or do both. So I give him a lot of credit. It's just- I respect for sure. And I think he did want to be hands-on. Maybe he just didn't realize how, what that meant, or maybe he sort of did, and he's just kind of in the middle there, and it's like a little bit of a spiral. It seems extremely stressful, extremely stressful. And maybe he's got that thing too. Like I'm not gonna be one of those reality folks that starts a brand or business that looks like it's just shits and giggles and then falls through like maybe, if he has a vision, it will all be worth it. I don't know, but they're clear. And again, I respect, again, who do I work with? The person who lives and breathes work. You know what I'm saying? I'm all about a drive, a dream, a plan, a passion, and going for it. But I also am someone who likes to remind people, like sometimes we are blessed to have resources and we are blessed to have things and people around us that can help make us better and help make, and my thing is too, it's a blessing to have the income that he might have as an influencer. It's a blessing to be able to look and consider resources that other small business owners might not be able to. So it's like, help yourself and reduce the stress for you and your family. But it also could just be maybe he doesn't trust anyone. He wants to run the ship. And because he's like, no one's gonna fuck up my plan. And unfortunately his plan is a coffee shop that requires being there 100 hours a week. So until he finds someone he can trust, that's just how it's gonna be. But yeah, I mean, it did look like a cute little shop though. Yeah, I think it looked adorable. And also it's kind of interesting that the reference that Ashley was making in her confessional was to again, John Banjovi, but not the culpows because my parents, my family's like spot go to spot since red stripe clothes may its memory on Main Street and East Greenwich has been Union and Main, which is owned by Olivia Culpo's family. Now she isn't based in Rhode Island, her family is, she's like married to, I don't know, people. She's like married to like a huge, huge celebrity athlete or something, I think baseball. I truly apologize, that's like so deeply out of my wheelhouse. But my family isn't going to Union and Main because of the culpows who they could give a shit about, like with all their respect in the world. They're going, cause it's like, you know, the place you go to, you know what you're gonna get when you get there, like very just kind of a chill spot for lunch or whatever. I mean, so there are other celebrity influencer connections in Rhodey, it was just kind of an LOL to me that she didn't note that, which is funny. I probably would have done the same. I would have looked at a state if I was her. Let's not make it more of a competition. Exactly. The other part, I mean that second episode, what a banger. Liz, what was the line that Liz said to Rula, the ma line? I want that tattooed on my face when she says, but he is ma, because Rula's come in and she thinks, for whatever reason, she can set the narrative that her husband- And she's gonna be able to bullshit her way through this process. And they were like, baby, it's kind of funny. I'm like, are these other women like, it's almost like, you know, you say, you get to like a new year at school, you have a new teacher, you know what I'm saying? And you know, I'm fucking scared of them and I'm gonna behave. But like you see your friend like getting out of line over here and it's like, I need to let them know that that ain't ever gonna fucking be me. You know what I'm saying? And then, cause I'm like, it looks like these women showed up except for Rula, Rula Law. They showed up with a little bit of respect, I think, for the process and production. And I think that not showing up thinking they can just fuck their way through it and bullshit their way through it. And I kind of appreciated them saying like, this ain't the game. Like honestly, it's like, if this is how it's gonna go, bow out baby, we're two weeks in. You know what I'm saying? Otherwise like, if you leave now, they can probably cut this footage. But you stay two more weeks, it's probably gonna make it. And so, but I respect them for calling her out in that moment despite how hard obviously that had to be to hear, you know what I mean? The impression that I get from Rula isn't, I mean, I don't mean this as a compliment, but I do think she is consistent. I don't think she's like owning ups to stuff off camera and like playing a part on camera. I genuinely think she's like, everything is fine in my marriage because I said it's fine, don't ask any follow ups. I don't think that's like a put on. The only person she's not lying to is herself. And even then, I think she's lying to them, yes. And it's like, again, it's therefore even more respect to Liz. We're looking at your friend and being like, as Gina Leanna once said, Snap the fuck out of it. Like girl, he already did it once, you know he did. And it's like, if people, it's, but also Sarah, who the fuck would sign up for a contract for reality TV with that going on? And if my man had so much as ever thought of touching another woman too bad, we can't ever do reality TV, it's gonna come out. It's gonna come out, you know what I'm saying? Like why would you put you and your family through that knowing there is absolutely negative 150% chance that either when you start or at some point down the line or both, it is going to be a massive point of conversation. Yes, I mean like solid point. Additionally, if you live in a place of denial, you might not be thinking about it or you might just put it in the back of your head of like, I have been able to stay with this man to try. She says she's still in the process of, you know, trying to understand what forgiveness looks like in this context and good for her for not being like, yeah, we're great in that confessional. I think she's probably like, listen, we do this every day. I want the focus to be on me and not him, but people are gonna look for those areas of weakness, especially if, and I guess we get into more into this in episode three, but especially if you and your husband, I didn't understand this the first time, but like called her place of work. I was thinking, Oh my God. Yeah, what the fuck was that? Well, I was thinking at first, like, was she calling the place of work because like she wasn't answering herself, but it's like, no, you're sending emails to HR. Are you out of your fucking mind? Because a girl saw you. Right. Photograph evidence. Like this wasn't chat GPT that made this up. You know what I'm saying? Like, I mean, that's, I would assume that she could press some sort of legal charges for something like that, I mean, they're trying, I would assume that it's a form of intimidation to like punish her or whatever. But if you try to grow down the road of like, this is defamatory, it switches entirely to the woman who was the mistress. If you're upset that this stuff went on social, look at the mistress, but you can't do that. Cause if you look at the mistress, you have to focus on your husband. So there has to be another woman, I mean, LOL use of words, but like another woman to focus your eye or on. And of course her husband, who does appear to be a piece of shit, would co-sign that if he was a real man. Sorry. He would say, it's on me, let's not blame this person. But of course he isn't. If his reputation is in any way harmed by this, it's because he fucked up and he fucked somebody who decided to put it on Instagram. And the best way to maybe like remedy a little bit of that, that, you know, narrative going around about you is just fucking be honest about it, you know? And just be like, look, I mean, unfortunately it's not like an uncommon thing in this world. You know what I'm saying? And I mean, I think that the, I've always said to the quicker you own up to it, the quicker that no one can laugh at you about it. The quicker that no one can talk, like it's, the best example ever to me is fucking Bronwyn from Salt Lake City. She went out here and lied her ass off about buying a fucking like million dollar necklace. Everybody thought that she bought it. At the reunion, she goes, I just kind of basically was like, but the thing was, is that the first time she could have addressed it, she did. And she said, yeah, I just, I took it a little too far. That was it. No one could say anything else after that. Cause no one could be like, she's fucking lying. Look at this prove, look at this. She took, she took it away from everyone, the ability to push the conversation further. She ended it right there. And quite literally we barely heard about it since. When that could, to me, that could have been something that like, that's weird. You're lying about buying things on camera. That's weird. You know what I'm saying? But it's just an example of the more you deny and run from it on a public scale like this, the bigger it's going to be. Yeah. And if I was Joe Wellin, I mean, I was watching part of the Rahori after show because I refuse to call it Rahori. And she was talking about the fact that she actually knows, cause of course it's Rhode Island, she knows this woman. So she was following the quote unquote other woman whose name I don't know, which is perfectly fine on IG because they go back several years, their kids were in fucking preschool together or something. See, I was wondering like, why did she see, how did she even fucking come across that? That's crazy. Yeah. Right. So she saw it cause she was on Instagram, I assume screenshot it. She says she sent it to Liz. Liz also agrees. That's how she received it. And then Liz got in touch with Rula La, which is just a fun way of saying Rula. I will never refer to her as anything else for the trajectory of this brand. Sorry, I'm sorry. Alisha is changing my brain chemistry in real time and I'm giving it open arms. But I mean, that's also, I don't know how much Rula is going to be able to drag this person and call her a cockroach. I'm not saying she's great, but I also think, and it's possible maybe he like broke up with her and her way of like seeking vengeance was to post this thing on social. Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking. I think she clearly did that in regards to fucking some nasty shit that he was telling her or promising her or whatever. And he upset her, you know? And it's like, look, is that the right thing to do in her regard? No, but there's a lot more wrongdoings here that we should be discussing that they're more important than this, you know what I'm saying? Well, that was the other thing too. Cause I'm like, he probably is telling her, he's going to leave his wife, whatever, et cetera. And they run in the same circles. So again, all signs go, I'm not saying it's great to be engaged in a relationship with someone who's quite literally married. I'm not like waving the green flag here very clearly. That's not good, but all signs point to this man, possibly being soup, I mean, possibly LOL, being super fucking manipulative. I don't think he's owning up to what he said to her. And according to Liz, he's not owning up to the fact that this may still be going on. Exactly. And I don't know, even like just hearing her talk about he just instantly became so regretful and was crying and I'm like, just something, I'm like, look, was I there? Obviously not. But something just didn't resonate with me. I was like, girl, either somebody is getting played. I don't know if it's you or both of us. Something's not that not. 1000%. And I also do need to shout out like my literal queen and icon, Joellen, because- Yes. Do you see what she posted? Now I'm not able to pull it up on my Instagram. Hold on, give me one second. Okay, she posted a lip sync of her lip syncing, you look so dumb right now, obviously addressed to Rula. And the caption was, oh, because Rula is like making fun of the fact that Joellen lives in Cranston, which I just have to say is something that a lot of us, we just, it's just one of the, it's just, that's just a fact of life. Like it's just, that's just gonna happen. That you get, okay, for living in Cranston, you get like knocked for it? Yeah. Which is a, you know, lovely place. I know there are different areas of Cranston and all that good stuff, but like that is a thing, that is a thing. And Joellen put the caption of this video, you shop in Cranston, you golf in Cranston, your husband sleeps in Cranston. Tough. Very tough. I love her so much. I love her so much. She's the- No wonder she hates Cranston so much, it's where a man's getting off every night. Oh my God. I cannot say enough about how the love that I have for Joellen Tabiri. I cannot say enough. She was born to be a real hot, like this franchise was created for women like her. And I'm sorry, but the name Joellen is the most iconic, cunt name I've ever heard in my entire life. Like, I'll never forget one time in the high school, one of my friends, she was dating this guy and she was like, if my last name was, if we got married, this would be my last name. And she was like, that's a bad bitch name. And I, Joellen, bad bitch name. One name regard, it's like Madonna, Adele. Joellen, baby. Like it is- Don't, don't, don't. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, it's a cunt motherfucking name. And it's just, just watching her and her confessionals and in scene, like at home, I'm like, she is going to deliver. Like as a mean person, whose phone is begging for air to breathe from all the meme clips on my phone, it ain't getting no room to breathe with this girl entering our orbit anytime soon. She is going to deliver so many good moments. I can feel it. And she's fucking beautiful too. I think she's beautiful. But yeah, Joellen, Madonna, Adele for short, you know. The love that I have for this second, I heard the cast name and I heard there was someone in the cast name, Joellen Tabiri. I said, Rhode Island representation is so important and I am extremely fucking here for it. I do also just have to note, I'm not quite sure about the, I mean, Rula, give her credit, Liz is saying, but he is, mom, but he is. She throws back that maybe some stuff's going on or has happened between Liz and her husband. I did a light Google. I think it maybe even just like God showed up on Easter Sunday and said, let me tell you some shit about Dino. I just want to say for the public record, I think he's a wonderful man and an incredible citizen. And I am in no way concerned about saying anything, even as a joke about someone who is- We're not at all concerned about ending up like Caroline Manzo's father-in-law. There are some connections that are wink, wink, federal, hill, adjacent. That some Rhode Island investigator media, et cetera, has done where he's like maybe friending of with LaCosta Nostra, according to the allegedly. And I just think Dino, first off, loved the name, never extinct in my heart. And I just think he's great. I just think he seems like a wonderful friend. And any of the charges that have been against him for, you know what, he deals in love. Not cocaine. It's a witch hunt. Not cocaine. I think, yeah, I do think it's a witch hunt. It's a bitch hunt. I think people need to leave him alone. And by people, I mean, absolutely me. I think he's great. 100%. I think you have nothing to say. You have nothing but a fan and supporter in me. Sir, thank you very much. Sir. I will literally, I could be addicted to marijuana and go to rehab off of it. I will get back on the cannabis for you, sir, to support your business. Like that is how supportive I am, you know what I'm saying? Well, and am I curious about the relationship between Liz and her husband and Dino? Cause it seems like I don't quite, like husbands going off sport fishing or something. And then Liz and Dino are very close. I have no questions. I actually have no questions about it. I think everybody needs a friend and she has fun. And back to what I said earlier about her like calling it out and being like, we're not going to bullshit stuff here. It's like, I don't necessarily think she's bullshitting because she's offering up stuff to us. But there are several questions that are beyond fair to be asked, you know what I'm saying? And look, I mean, it's early, it's early. Like we'll get to know more, but I don't know. I mean, I'm glad you brought that up because I didn't think about it in the sense that is I guess rather brave of her to kind of call out the, well, he, you know, he is doing it, Ma, like call out this stuff when there could be similar skeletons-ish, you know what I'm saying? In your closet, like, I mean, granted, is it brave or is it delusion? Which is why we love our housewives because they accuse people of things they're guilty of without having zero awareness whatsoever. But yeah, I'm glad you brought that up because I do think Liz is being honest and transparent, but also it's interesting that she's kind of calling the shots in regards to Rula Law and the narrative she wants to put out when I think it's very fair that there are some questions and some blank spaces we want filled as viewers already. Yeah, I think, I mean, I think Rula Law was, was firing a little bit of a warning shot there, but then also, I mean, worse for me if I'm Liz is when she makes that comment about, I assume that Rula was trying to get into like the, I wanted to keep my family together, but the way that she phrased it of, you sort of don't know what I'm talking about until you quote unquote produce your own is- Oh my God. So deeply insensitive because she has no idea, or maybe she does. I mean, maybe they understand each other's like, you know, relationships and family stuff, but Liz obviously- I don't care if you don't know, that's just the, using the word produce in regards to anything with children and conversation with other women, other adults is so beyond like, hello, welcome to day one of life. Like what are you fucking thinking? Like where's your decency, you know? Yeah, just the moment that word specifically was thrown out, I like, I was like, it just is, I hate shit like that, you know? And especially for, I can't, look, I'm not a woman, I obviously haven't been in this position. I can't imagine how bittersweet it is to have step children that you love and bond with and are an integral part of their lives, but it is literally put in your face also every day that you, maybe you don't have biological children of your own. So I imagine that even though that is a blessing and a great position for some women to be in it, also it can hurt at the same time. And so for her to have, you know, she said how long has she had these kids like in her life now? Like, you know, she's picking them up from school and shit, like whatever. Like it's just, to me, it's just completely, it disregards also the respect that the kids may have for her, which is not easy to obtain in relationships where there are already children present, you know? So just, Rula La did not start off on a good note. For me, you know, but she really didn't. But we'll see, you know, I'm still, I'm still, I'm trying to think of what's a competitor for Rula La. Like she in her fucking group on or some shit. I don't know, I'm still team group on right now, but we might get over to Rula La eventually, you know? Team group on, I can't even, I literally can't even. Yeah, it was a moment. And for Liz, I mean, that's just such a slap in the face. And I also thought she was being really trying to be as respectful as possible, not only to her husband's ex-wife, but also certainly to the privacy of her kids and how she was phrasing this with like, you know, they, we were responsible for them full time. Obviously there was something that happened with custody. I don't need to know more information on that. I just, you know, again, as an outsider, thought the way that she handled that part of like talking about how important her family is to her. I thought she did that in a really sensitive way, which I appreciated, I really did. I respect that too for sure. And at the end of the day, she is the one that's closest to Dolores. And Dolores like, Dolores is like just the most angel heart. I swear, like, look, there have been some times that maybe I wanted her to get a little more, you know, but for my girl, Teresa and step up a little bit. But at the end of the day, it's like, when you meet Dolores, you feel such a like angelic spirit about her. You really, really do. And I choose to believe and find it hard to believe that someone that with kindness like that is as close to someone, you know, like Liz is saying that they're close and like they clicked immediately. And so I would find it hard to believe that Liz wouldn't have some sort of those same traits, you know, and that she has a great, you know, just wherewithal about her, you know? And Dolores, I think is such a good mom and she's obviously a sweetheart. You know, I think I kind of do wish Dolores had the cannabis queen title for her own like livelihood. I think that would have been a little bit iconic for her, you know, just. I mean, maybe she'll go into it. Who's to say? Maybe she will. Dolo, yeah, we need to come up with some fun names like the scumbag Sativa, you know what I'm saying? Welcome back scumbag. And I do think with both of them, like there's obviously they're each other's doppelganger, like that's very clear, but there's, as you said, there's such a warmth to both Dolo and Liz, but also a do not fuck with me. Why not 100 fucking percent? I will disembowel you without breaking a fucking sweat. So don't even try. And I am curious to see that part of Liz come out. Like we had the little teaser for the next episode, something happens at a, what's up with studio 54 parties? Is like, okay, we got it. What the fuck is that? I mean, the timing of it on Beverly Hills, Ann Rhode Island is honestly very funny. But I'm curious as to what will set her off. And she said to me at the, at the premiere party, she like, you know, sort of as just kind of like an LOL one off was like everybody, cause I said, you know, I love you, whatever, et cetera. Cause I really did watching the first two episodes and she said something along the lines of like, well, everyone's going to hate me the second week or in two weeks, which would be episode three. I don't, she might just be, I mean, Jenna Lyon said the same thing at the New York premiere prior to the season one of the reboot coming out. And very clearly she thought she was going to be sort of isolated because she had been from the cast and the audience might not like her. And certainly that was not the experience once episodes started airing in terms of like who we really had genuine affection for. So who knows, it's possible that maybe the cast feels a certain way about her with specific to this episode and the audience doesn't, or she might be feeling a little neurotic that like everyone's, that cast is going to hate me and this and maybe that isn't what actually happened. And also this is all still new to them. So like there's a world of emotions that are coming in and out of them 24 seven, you know, and anxieties and fear and rightfully so. I mean, I, you know, it's funny we are sitting here talking about the warmth that we feel watching her when it's like literally everyone on the show talked about how they like her, but they're also terrified. Oh yeah. I'm scared. But I even tweeted and I didn't include it in my main roundup on Instagram because I was kidding. She'd see it. But I tweeted, I was like, someone said she has like a, like a dark mysterious energy about her and it's going to be so interesting as a viewer to watch the layered person, like the layered story of her be told. And I quoted it. I was like, she is absolutely witnessed a murder or two, but and potentially carried out one herself. And, and I mean that like with respect, like, I think she would take out a bad, I mean that with respect. Like, I don't think she's maybe a murderer, but she's not hurting anybody we care about. I think she's taking out the bad people, you know what I'm saying? But like, she definitely has. Some stories, you know, like there's just, I don't, I don't know. But it's funny though, because I, we both agree that there is a sense of like, almost like comfort watching her, you know, she, she's easy to watch. She, I feel like I could sit down and talk to her. You know, I just need to make sure my location is on with my friends. Like, I miss. Listen, I, for the public record again, I, but I genuinely feel this way. Like I do love, I, she's a breakout star for me. Like I have my three, Alicia, Liz and Joellen. They're my breakout stars. They are, they are the show so far. 100%. Yeah. Who are your breakouts? Do you, do you agree? Same thing. Hands down. Damn. I mean, I think Alicia was the first one. I was like, who the fuck is this woman? And that was just off the Britney Spears like thing, because they released that first look, like the first six minutes or whatever. And so I saw it and she, she loves Britney Spears. I love Britney Spears. Like that is so simple, but within her heart was all the, like actual scientific factual reasoning in the world that her and her child like daughter. Are the same person, but she was like, no, we actually both love hit me baby one more time. You don't understand. We're the same person. Um, but she, she's just funny and like her confessionals. Like when they're asking her questions, like she is answering them with all the honesty in the world. Like when she been there, done that with driving, ran over a woman, like she was ready for the next question. It's like, Paul's right there. We've got a lot to discuss with this. What the fuck? Um, and then Liz, I think, I mean, they kind of set her up to be the, the, the main focus with that whole, I mean, the way that they showed her house and her walking down her dog. And I mean, like everyone talking about like, Oh, everyone knows Liz. You know, I mean, they're really creating this role for her to feel in my opinion. Um, and then I'm Joe Ellen again, name iconic. And then she said two fucking words and I was like, where the fuck is the membership of the fan club application? Because I'm ready to fucking fill it out. You know, um, I mean, they really knocked it out of the park with this cast. I really, I really do. And I feel like even the, you know, seeing their families and stuff, I'm like, there is so much story here that we have not even begun to scratch the surface of, you know, um, and I feel like, you know, like, because it is a smaller state, I wonder if it's a harder place to cast. I don't know. Um, but they, to me, they really, like really, really knocked it out of the park, finding this group of women, you know, and that they're all, they're naturally connected to it's not bullshit. You know. Yeah. I think you, was it you that sent me the video? There was, um, a news person that did a roundup of like getting Rhode Island, Rhode Island reactions. And the first guy right out of the gate was like, this is fucking horrible. Like, it did remind me, I, I did have a chat with Tobes who watched, she said a small amount of it, but then she did know who I was talking about when I was like, oh, and so and so, and that was like 30 minutes into the episode. So I actually think she, she watched more than she did, but she was, she was horrified, which is not her accent, but she was very much like, this is not real. The only thing that feels real was the B roll, like the beautiful glamour shots of the coast and all that shit, like she, which they did a great job of honestly, like it looks bright and, and, and lovely and wonderful and a great place to visit, which Rhode Island absolutely is, especially in the summer, but, uh, she was not in any way, please, not that I expected her to. Cosign, she's not a housewives person. I, I do fear I'm going to have to sit her down and force her to rewatch the premiere episode and then record a Patreon. But I just think it's going to go, it's going to go left very quick. It looked very quick. Yo Ellen can't make her a fan of the franchise and no one can. You know what I'm saying? But it's worth a try. I mean, I think we got our answer here. I don't think anybody can. Like, I think she's just going to be like, this isn't real life. And I'm, she's, she's more horrified, um, that, that the show exists. Just, I think in general. So now for it to take place in Rhode Island is like, no, this isn't, this isn't, it's like, uh, she's not, she doesn't come from like this soap opera universe or anything like that. So I think if she was more of like a general hospital person or one of the other shows, like maybe we would find more of a gray area here, but she's, she's all out. She's like, I want absolutely nothing to do with this. And I'm not going to Audrey's coffee either. Well, I think I might just be like, um, but then if she's watched it, I think she would recognize it. I don't know. I'm going to figure out a way to, uh, to do some hijinks here. Cause I, I gotta get there. I got to get there. I just need to figure out how far away it is. If it's more than 15 minutes, which is impossible, then I would be in Massachusetts or Connecticut, then there might be a little bit of an issue. Cause again, Felicia's is in the neighborhood. So why would we go further for, for no reason? But sorry, Audrey Felicia's might win this one. You know what Felicia? I mean, by Audrey's high Felicia is how we're going to go with this. Listen, there is so much more for us to discuss. Uh, Atlanta had an incredible premiere. Also Beverly Hills had a solid episode, which continues to misfire me. Um, so everyone head on over to part two available now.
