Summary

The hosts of Ones Ready discuss the recent Iran rescue operation, addressing conspiracy theories and misconceptions about the mission while celebrating Air Force Special Warfare achievements. They introduce new subscribers, discuss the upcoming Operator Training Summit, and reflect on team culture and media representation of special operations.

Insights
  • Special operations missions often involve seemingly impossible tactical elements that would be rejected as unrealistic in fiction, yet are executed routinely by trained teams
  • Timing of public statements and media narratives around military operations warrant scrutiny, particularly when they coincide with documentary releases or major announcements
  • Team culture in special operations embraces diverse music and entertainment preferences, contradicting stereotypes about military personnel
  • The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment represents an elite organization requiring rigorous selection beyond basic military service
  • Media representation of multi-service operations often inadvertently omits or underrepresents certain specialties despite comprehensive coverage attempts
Trends

Quotes
"You're telling me that right before the movie that's coming out exposing what we've been talking about for 20 years now with this event, you're telling me that right now the timing of this one died in the wool pure as the driven snow truth teller decides to come out on Sean Ryan show and say all these things. You're telling me you don't find the timing at least a little bit odd?"
AaronEarly in episode
"Every single part of this mission was impossible. Every single one. So just look at this you're telling me that some kids with a high school graduate a high school graduation certificate got in the military wanted to be a maintainer then went through green platoon over at the 160th got some on the job training."
AaronMid-episode
"This is what we do like and then the task force side of it. That's like setting up farps setting up airfields forward to stage from is such a normal thing. It was so weird to me when people are like questioning that ability."
PeachesMid-episode
"We like to take the sneaky third position which is neither one of the first two because that allows us to make fun of both camps at the same time because we don't care."
AaronLate episode
"Everything that we do every single exercise has a connection to the job that you're trying to do. We don't want people at indoc special warfare assessment selection whatever they're going to call the new course when it inevitably changes somewhere down the road."

I'm doing well Yeah, I got quite a few You know, I did that little 15 minute video or whatever And Boy, it blew up in the comments You know, and people are like, hey, did you not see everything that he said on the anti hero podcast? I'm like, no, I didn't actually But You're talking about one guy saying things And he's got a, you know, great name in the community and all that kind of stuff and that's that's fine But there's also like my thing is is There are thousands of people that have watched the same things that he has That have the same access to the documents he had And they've come to this conclusion So why now come out and say that that's not actually true? And then you know why You know right now Because the movie's coming out Like that's the thing about this like that's it doesn't even get past question one with me I know Because I go, hey guys So you don't find it weird that right before the movie that's coming out Exposing what we've been talking about for 20 years now with this event You're telling me that right now the timing of this one Died in the wool pure as the driven snow truth teller decides to come out on Sean Ryan show and say all these things You're telling me you don't find the timing at least a little bit odd. No. Oh, okay It's about It's about Anyway I I'm not mad. I'm not mad about it. What not mad whatever um But we do have a lot of new subs here who probably have no freaking idea who the hell we are Well, can we say subscribers instead of subs? I don't know just seems Yeah, like we probably just we just got throttled on youtube probably So peaches Yeah, that peaches doesn't understand the underculture of subs. Thank you new subscribers. You're not our subs because that's weird Welcome. I'm erin. I was a pj peaches was a controller And Trent was a weather guy that they turned into special reconnaissance Hi We talk about air force stuff, but we talk about a lot of stuff and we want to say thank you for showing up We appreciate all of you new people. Hello Yeah, we got a lot of people that came over from uh max afterburner Can I give a shout out to neo and max afterburner real quick? Like I said it to him when we got done recording. We had a great episode. It was awesome to sit down with another guy That's really doing it. What I what I think is the right way and I try not to Air out personal conversations unless it's really funny and my dms on my instagram page But I I told I told neo to his face. I was like listen man, you're doing it the right way Like in this world of everybody has to be first and not necessarily correct or everybody that has these immediately They just decide which bias take they're gonna just stand on and that's going to be the hill that they're gonna die on He doesn't do that. He's willing to have a conversation He's willing to talk it out and he's willing to be wrong and correct himself Although that's happened very few times from you know, my interactions with him He's always got great takes. He was great on pierce Morgan and just shout out go follow If you're not if you're part of our audience and you're not following max afterburner, you're wrong. You should go check them out He's great. Yeah, he's a he's a former pilot, dude Yeah, uh And then a bird I think you're a stun bird to be or something like that Is in the two seat camp or the one seat camp because I I gotta know before I can say that I like this dude or not In terms of the f15 ex. Yeah, I don't know These are the big issues that I'm concerned with so it's funny because Active duty is like we're two seats guard is like now we just want one and it's typically the f15c single-seater dudes that are the ones that are kind of touting that but anyway Very insider baseball on that. Yeah, that's good. Welcome new subscribers. Let us give you some technical data that you may not be aware of Yeah We have an ongoing conversation over, you know multiple months of This podcast we bring it up for about 30 seconds every episode. So there you go. Good luck We're doing great guys. We're doing great. It's not cracking. You know, I mean, we're just three knuckleheads that have some experience in the life in life and try and pass some of it down to to people that want to join the military, especially, uh, air force special warfare. So We're still knuckleheads. It's so hot right now air force special warfare is so hot. We're just everywhere. Yeah. Yeah PJ's out there. You my boy steve out on fox news just hitting just long flowing hair You got people like actual pilots that are on talking the navy seals Aren't talking about pr on fox news for the first time in our in my adult life. It's great like no shots of the seals but Man, no pr. You don't know pr. You guys don't do it. We live and breathe this It's great to see subject matter experts out there. Artemis splash down yesterday combine combined navy And pj operation people don't know that pjs have the nasa space shuttle mission we have since the 60s It's something awesome that we did pjs covered the Launch of Artemis 2 and then obviously gave their input and helped with the navy To make comms apparently that was the funniest part peaches texting Peaches texted me there somebody else texted me too like one more dude hit me up and was like imagine You know, you're talking to a test pilot. They're all astronauts But there's like test pilots and guys that have done like crazy things in the flight world And you're literally telling them they have to push the button on the radio to talk Hey, confirm you're hitting the ptt But here's the question in that you're asking them to confirm for them to answer you they would need to hit the ptt so It's just it was just funny that that they're actually, you know, because they're putting all the comms out there during it because this is exciting, right? You know, um and boy, um, there you go. There's some insider look into how things go. This is why I tying it back. This is why whenever I don't get a A text back or a phone call back or acknowledged or an email I get like Dude are like WTF because is it in my scent items? Is it like I was I start going through and I start checking myself and going oh my god Did I actually send it? Uh, man, something must be wrong. Let me check my wi-fi or let me check my phone Oh, let me turn my phone on and off like what because that's what I do if I'm on the range or or I'm on a mission And I'm talking to aircrafts that I could hear them and I'm talking to them. They can't hear me all of a sudden I'm like, oh god. What's going on? We had a rj hunter on Trent from tacp foundation. Yeah, and rj peaches and I were on the same email chain And let me tell you what it was like to be a guy that was not needed for a conversation to watch 75 emails of sent Received brother. I got it. It's a good copy. That was 47 emails of them sending out Yeah, just just letting each other know that they've got good comps. It was great It was really a world a view into a world that I didn't normally exist in, you know Speaking of different worlds the uh, the dude running the the weather for the Artemis too But on the podcast Lance has been here before The Amurstow teaguy No big deal just out there There's like a two-man shop that does all the weather for all that stuff and uh, he's one of those guys Yeah, okay, we're gonna put that in the bucket of good guests that we've had on the show And hopefully it's gonna equal the guests that have done dumb things after they were on the show I feel like you're not safe somebody in particular We're talking high heels or we're talking No, dude. Come on quit it Trenton Quit it Trenton. We have a pretty good track record for guests like being who they are after the the podcast, but when it goes wrong It seems to be terribly terribly. It goes hilariously wrong, right? Yeah, and it's it's really a what came first the chicken or the egg Like where they like that before they came on and we didn't know it or did we turn them into that? And i'm willing to accept both It's like people telling us to get Liam who hasn't been in the pipeline yet on the podcast And I was like bro last time we had someone on before they joined the pipeline. He almost died like two days later So like no kidding died. Oh, yeah, but there's a gonna be a documentary on how this dude should have died And I don't think we should do that anymore. I have never made that connection myself until right now Even if he didn't die He shouldn't be walking He was told to everybody that you will never walk and and the boys squatting 400 something now boys. I'm like 350. I was a deadlift in your car. No big deal It's unreal. So we got him then we got uh, we had a soft tack peon that really Kind of turned a corner or maybe he was always like that like really good cuckoo Well, a lot could happen in six years. I think we had him on six years ago the young man Wesley People are gonna be what they're gonna be man. I don't know what to tell you Yeah, wouldn't have them on it. Well, I I take that back. I would totally have them on again I would I would Open invite anybody that wants to come on and talk about it I got some questions and this is an ms now like people are gonna ask you actual question I would like to know what his testosterone numbers are before Double digits. It's probably like room temperature. Yeah, I guess I'm alive. I guess some theories about what happened there 84 To like a hundred. It's not I'll tell you what if his testosterone level was a temperature. I wouldn't even take him to the doctor That's a medicine joke Hey, pj. All right All right, there you go. Listen, we're so hot right now. I I got a message good good friend of mine Tech p officer led it a lot of the highest levels. It's great He hit me up with a text message. It was probably the funniest fallout of kind of like this last week, you know with the Iran Easter rescue and all the stuff that went on and all the good work that the bros did he was like, dude You guys are untouchable right now I'm trying to make fun of pjs and I got no leg to stand on and I was like, dude, we're too we're too high we're too we're too We feel too good about stuff that's going on Yeah, it's it's a good spot to be in it is It is funny though how Upset people can get when okay, so you you've done a good job, right? You've you've been on news nation news max fox news and all that kind of stuff Uh, you know and obviously max afterburner and you've been all over the place in the last week and you've been Very good about covering pjs. You've been very good. I think about covering seer The air crews the pilots and everything and it's still Not good enough like we still just still comments going like hey, man Aaron you're doing a great job on all these but man I You know, it's great that the pjs are getting some recognition But it sure would be nice if some of the air crew got recognition I'm like bro Aaron is sitting here saying this on it like you're giving a peanut brother peanut butter spread love To everybody that was involved. It could have been involved While still not mentioning combat controllers, but whatever and that's what I had to ask do controllers still exist I don't even know what's going on. Well, they do Nope, I'm not going to talk about that and leave it to air crew to still that's not good enough Bro, we acknowledge you guys did great work flying in a highly contested area After somebody's already gotten shot down dude kudos But there's only so much that you can see here and be on a pedestal going that that that giving people love My my wife was laughing because of the first two spots that I took You know, my wife and my father-in-law as a matter of fact They were like, you know, it was amazing about that is you didn't answer a single question directly And I was like right because I wanted to immediately pivot so that I could talk about other things like it's Super clear like look at look at the first Like two news shows I went on and which is a super weird thing to say in my in my personal life We'll just move past it I literally pivoted right away so that I could talk about the The entire team and I have gotten a couple messages where people are like, oh, it'd be great if you said this like Okay, do you want to come on? Would you like me to pass your name? Like I have these contacts now Like would you like to try to get on and do this thing because it's not easy And I tried to do my best and the the fact that I'm still getting inputs from the bros It just makes me laugh. I'm like, okay, man. Yeah, I'll try I'll try to uh, you know what? I'll try to make it better next time. I'm sorry that I failed you and your niche career field specifically But I will make sure that you are center stage next time I get the opportunity Did you not bring up the controllers because the one piece that they had Is the thing that went wrong? Is that what happened there? Now technically I'd like to provide some clarification. They fixed that problem You may not have liked the way that they fixed it But they fixed that problem. We did fix the problem. That problem is staying solved. We also said Probably not a good idea too Yeah, yeah, no, no, we're gonna gloss over that part and go right to the part where they got stuck like when we start talking about like Advising aircraft like we and and commanders. Hey, we probably they shouldn't do this because this could happen Which guys did And somebody goes fuck it. We're doing it anyway. It's like Okay, hey, you just start writing up that line. Hey, what's the uh, what are the coordinates there? I just need to write them. It's fine four five and six. It's really no big deal. Just what okay Yep, I said this a bunch of times. I want to hear it directly from you In that moment and what we're talking about is the blowing in place of a certain number of aircraft on a farp somewhere Seven and a half hour flight into iranian airspace There had to be a moment peaches and I can only say this from no one controllers There was a moment where that call was a real thing and everybody looked around and they were like guys We're blowing these aircraft up Yeah What was the fight like for who gets that call? What was the was there had to be like rank probably mattered, you know in this flat organization where it doesn't matter what rank You are just what job you do. I have I have I have a feeling That somebody was like I outrank you. I'm the lead j-tack. This is my role. I'm blowing this up Is there any truth to that peaches comment? It would be whoever the lead j-tack is So if if you're the one that's lead j-tack and running fires and it's on you the only time that it may have changed is if Uh, somebody took it back from the talk or the job And then they were like that way they get everybody out of there and then blow it up to which the j-check may not have had Combs with the aircraft I'll tell you a little buddy. You can go pull the the penzel and thermite real quick, but you're not making that call I'm glad you're here I'm the ground fourth commander. I'm gonna go ahead and take this one I can only tell you as a guy that I mean we carried thermite grenades all the time That was part of the pj load out as if you were there you had a thermite grenade You might have to you know, blow it up you use them in training dirt. What's up? Did you have 50 of them? I did have 50 of them in a Gucci bag I had 50 grenades in a Gucci bag. It was great um But there were you know, you'd use them in training and stuff Let me tell you I guarantee you there was some one of my pj brothers on the ground there He had to just be going bro. I finally get to use this or I know we're gonna blow them up Let me just put it in the little bird. Let me just put just it'll destroy a little bird It'll be great and then you can blow it up afterwards the comedy When you can see past the curve like this this event was crazy. It's generational It it deserves all the hyperbole, right? But from our position you can kind of peel one layer back and go dude The bros on the ground had to be so excited like when they figured out that those 130s are stuff There had to be a second where everybody just looks around and goes All right boys. Here we go. Here we go. Yeah There was probably got the whizzle back and they're like You know now we just get to blow stuff up, right? It was probably some uh like all right We got to blow this up. It's not gonna be good I don't know that I want to be the guy like I got it the ground force commander is making a decision on this But I don't know if I want my name associated with just just in case it comes and has some blowback like Gotta be investigation small. Do you want this to be like how many small pieces? Do you want this to be like let's do some math real quick like that they had to do that like Like how destroyed do you want it and they're like all the way it's like Okay We can do that Charlie there wasn't much left like no there was no go it's hilarious and watching the conspiracy theories come out afterwards people connect and dots That don't need to be there You know we've been talked at you know talked about that like the failed operation coming from the europeans being like What do you need failed like we don't care about aircraft You know how excited those views on the ground were to be like, oh my gosh I get a c-130 and a little bird kill not many people get those I can't I'll wait tick Yeah, I like the ones where people were like, though You can't just set up an airfield in the middle of a country and then launch from there and fuel and all this other stuff It's just like Guys that welcome to the air force special warfare special tactics arena This is what we do like and then the task force side of it That's like setting up farps setting up airfields forward to stage from is such a normal thing It was so weird to me when people are like Questioning that ability like oh you just set up an airfield in the middle of nowhere or an airstrip. It's like Yeah, bro The I'll find the twitter the twitter post and pull it up here from one of the text messages But people are like, oh my god. So first of all, you can't fit an ah4 on saw on a c-130 and I was like Yeah, you can They've they've done it. What if I told you the 123rd sts their public affairs people in 2023 Put out pictures of the 123rd of jsoc doing this exact thing somewhere in kentucky Literally, I'll I'll find it right here because I know what group chat it's in but Dude, we do this. This is this isn't we didn't even use anything new other than the cia ghost murmur Which is tight. I don't care if that is propaganda Oh my god, that's good. That's that's the psyops that I want I like it 40 miles We'll pick up someone's murmur like and then it's like an individuals heart You know, that's crazy They can filter out the noise of other heartbeats and other noise from 40 miles away and single you out in a sea of noise And then locate you allegedly it's crazy Fire the peacetime science fair is over boys American Dime dynamism is back. I found that. I found the link that I'm talking about here So we'll pull it up people are saying that you can't do this. I don't know boys looks like they're pulling Let me just pull this picture up. Oh look A little bird and what's amazing is how fast they're able to get those blades turning on that thing and get it Those lord dogs These are the these guys right here the 160 at those farp dogs First of all, they can do anything they want in any desert they want. This is them up getting ready to go That's a hero shot. No big deal the Here's some bros here. Those are probably if I had to guess this boy's a pj from the 123rd and this boy is our simulated survivor with two little birds that came off of a 130 somewhere 130 shouldn't be able to land Dude those we the whole 160th guy like People may not be tracking but to be part of the organization as a loader as anything as the farp team There's a selection process to get into that unit and those guys are incredible I know I talk about the 160th a lot, but like as far as organizations. I've worked with They're my favorite wizards the just again, I've said it like five million times at this point Every single part of this mission was impossible every single one. So just look at this you're telling me That some kids with a high school graduate a high school graduation certificate Got in the military wanted to be a maintainer then went through green platoon over at the 160th got some on the job training These probably I don't know 22 23 year old kids that are working they they are kids the 23 24 25 year olds They're gonna fly seven and a half hours on a c-130 with an aircraft Take that aircraft off in the dark of night in enemy territory They're gonna get this helicopter ready to go within five minutes and they can't fail or everybody dies that Even that part of the mission is unbelievable if you wrote a movie about it You wouldn't believe the movie you'd be like no this part is no first of all you're not going to fly 130s in there They can't possibly land you're never going to be able to do it with the assault force and the helicopters on board Even if you get the helicopters up you're not going to be able to find the guy Once you get to them there's going to be a massive firefight You're going to take heavy casualties and then if I told you the c-130s got stuck We had to blow them in place and get the day saved by the aircraft that came in to come get us And then you take no casualties on the way out people will be like no that's uh, that's unbelievable. That's not how military operations work That sounds like Yeah, I can't to speak of which there's no way a movie is not made about this Zero and and I'm here for they need to put like Christopher Nolan or Michael Bay or somebody like that Spielberg Like it needs Ron Howard like a Nolan movie Christopher Nolan would crush this Do you think that there's just a fight between Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth right now for who plays the lead in this thing? Oh, yeah for sure. What's that fight? 100 out of 100 times. Yeah, he's probably really good then As long as it's not Alan Rickman. I don't mind them, but it's like You know the dude I'm probably saying its last name right the guy who plays Reacher in the in the show was just on that That just had a fight in his neighborhood Hilarious dude hates rich people or something. I don't know but Yeah It's gonna be a banger it needs to be a banger of a movie just an absolute banger christopher Don't crush that now. I'm thinking I thought that the the CIA calls. I was getting were fake But they're like bro your heart rate is like how much monster are you drinking? I didn't know until recently that those were actually the my my handlers calling me to let me know that I was about I was on that store stuff. Yeah, it happens a little bit differently for me My the nsa agent that has to look at all my dumb memes Calls the cia guy and goes hey, can you check in on him? I don't think he's I don't think he's good Like it's taking His social media presence is taking a really dark turn lately. I don't think he's okay. That's really nice I still have a team It's just a team now is the nsa so Well, so speaking of that Um, I don't know. Did you guys see this and this might be old news at this point? But you have the chairman raising kane Uh coming out and talking about let me see here Along the way we consume more than six million meals and by my estimate more than 950,000 gallons of coffee 2 million energy drinks and a lot of nicotine, but I am not saying that we have a problem God, I love it so much I mean, that's just Awesome. He's not wrong that rip it hack was going off boys are just low like 300 milligrams of caffeine a protein shake just before takeoff and you were primed brother Maybe you think pocket tacos along the way Bro that coffee machine did not stop running from the second that f15 and it was dude 4 4 So that was people are misunderstanding a whole bunch of things here. So this is where you get truth data The airplane was called dude. That's the flight like the f15 itself was called dude 4 4 There's a whole bunch of dudes that are probably the same aircraft because that's how it works Dude 4 4 and then there's alpha and bravo alpha is the pilot bravo is the widow So that is when people are talking about the rescue of dude 4 4 bravo. That's where you get that They're not calling him dude. Yes. I'm dude Some dude some dude 4 4 bravo. That's a sick rap title dude. I did just find this just popped up on my phone So I'm gonna give a quick shout out to Nancy uh j 238 The gate decided to give this comment to our youtube quote The black rap and then she puts music in quotes Was totally inappropriate Tell me you don't know anything about the teams without telling me you don't know anything about the team black rap Is she talking about our intro? She is we're gonna we're gonna talk about that here You know, I I don't want to get too far into cultural issues, especially for all new people Nancy that was the dumbest comment that I've ever seen. Okay, so first of all Racist I think are we allowed to say that now like is everything racist or is nothing racist? I don't know. It's just rap music I don't know you could have said I don't like the intro music that would have been fine without making yourself look completely stupid Okay, to be fair Nancy So you're tracking if you think that all the team guys only listen to like classic rock and all the stuff that I enjoy Right I am in the minority In the team room you are understand like like whatever you think it is The the hip hop and rap and all the other stuff that the kids are listening to these days Uh, it's pretty pervasive So and Nancy I'm with you, but you're wrong and also Like travel more, you know what I mean Nancy gets a little more We could easily and this would be aligned 100 with with our community and our culture But I could put Avril Lavigne Taylor Swift Freakin Sabrina Carpenter in there As the intro music and and what what did we have it at the two two is uh teen angst Tuesday or something like that Angst Tuesday and girls run the world thursday. Yeah girls run the world thursday was all pop. It was me and k-dub Slamming weights at 515 in a cold gym that leaked so bad that you would have to have no kidding 55 little Coffee and protein containers guys would donate them to the gym So dan the strength and conditioning coach as the building would warm up it would literally leak onto the turf So you couldn't even use the turf because there were so many little cans that were catching condensation To better believe you twist was freaking playing an avril Lavigne kady perry Paramore, are you joking girls run the world thursday? Get out of here Get out of here guys are guys are pushing 600 pound sleds clean and jerking 315 to kady perry's firework Which is what I assumed they were playing when they had to blow up those 130s Yeah, I mean they could have been playing chief keith They could have been or we take so some mob deep like whatever, you know, ain't no such things as halfway crooks You know that oh, you know that my favorite of all time was uh 2015 we were in a bagram and our deployment song was blank space by taylor swift not the rock version Taylor swiss blank space and we're no kidding cleaning We would go because we were on a really short alert hook for that one We would we'd only had like one day you could like get to the range Because we had to do the timing and everything like can if something happens Could you speed back from the range fast enough to get on the helicopters to make the call? So that it got a little bit like less time like the amount of time was more So it was like less restrictive We come back from the range to start our training day. It was great. I think we went to the range on tuesdays Cleaning weapons downstairs in our team room and a pilot walks in and we were just Viving to taylor swift and he starts to do these like oh taylor swift Is that the is that the vibe the level of aggression that this guy got me? I mean every single young just yoke testosterone at 1200 205 pounds of you know, five foot ten eel team members You get the heck out of here right now We had we had a playlist called questionable workout music that we would put on in bastion And it was all just poppy stuff But the rule was is like whoever got there first got to play their music and then there was an open challenge If you wanted us to turn our music off you had to fight one of us Yes, so people are coming to be like, oh this kid you period is don't like you yet lifted this meanwhile dudes are just crushing And if they were like can we turn it on to something else? Be like, yeah, you want to fight? There's mats right over here. You could take this anytime you want However, people started loving it. Yeah, when pitch perfect hit the the task force share drive It took over that entire rotation That is all anybody did was watch pitch perfect in between everything else that was going on like you I know it's hard to understand But that was the most popular movie on the share drive for like two months straight That's all anybody had up on their screens We had a marine special operations team that came down to it was when we were in bastion and they were like, hey, we're doing this thing We need your help. They basically they were going to be too far out for help And they were like we need to make like a mass casualty kit that you can drag We just don't know how to do it. We're like, oh dude, we do this like we'll pack it in a skedco for I was like bring all the gear over We'll help you out Our team movie was pitch perfect when the teams would change over for the night There was an hour of time where pitch perfect was on the was on the tv until the guys getting off shift would go home and go to sleep And the new guys would like start their day and it was like every thursday This marine walks in the room and he goes You guys were watching pitch perfect and we're like, yeah, it's our team movie He was like, do you want to have a riff off? And I looked at him and I was like you better aca believe it And he sat down with it. He got the whole team immediately called team. He was like guys are watching pitch perfect They came in and watched pitch perfect with us. It was great I think had special operations in a stranglehold for a whole year. Yeah Yeah Going back to your your I think you said it was a doctor or something like that that came in and was Just blown away by your your music taste in the same rotation. I had the same guy This was 2016 so when did the first john witt come out like 14 maybe 15 Anyway, that's a good one that matter we were watching it And um, he was watching it as well and he's he gets up and he's like god, hey man this This movie is violent and without skipping a beat I turned around and go. Yeah, we're in fucking afghanistan right now We're here to kill people. That's what we do We're just incoming. It should get you fired up, right? And I forget what he's an admin dude or whatever So now that I expect him to be like, oh, yeah, but it was just like his hand here a little bit flat He he prefers some vegetation. You know as opposed to me. That's fine. It is the same dude that Uh came into where I was working and I was listening to Taylor Swift Because my daughter and I wasn't working out. I was just listening to it because my daughter Love taylor swift at the time and so it would remind me of her Right. There was just a little way to connect with my daughter And um, and he was kind of coming in like man, really? Taylor Swift you like and I'm like, yeah, man Reminds me of my daughter and he was just like, oh I'm an asshole And he just my daughter went through a hamilton phase if you don't think that I know every single word to the musical hamilton For two straight years get out of here. I gotta say right now in my life I'm taking the kids to school my my daughter djs. It's been a whole lot of metallica And I don't think I've ever been happier Yeah, oh, it's fantastic. There's a uh a song called glitch by parkway drive fantastic song great breakdown really heavy metal My two-year-old loves it problem Is it says the f word in the breakdown? Says give me the f out and we have had to gaslight in him We've had to gaslight him really hard To say give me the heck out like I have had to scream over the word and the girls but he'll just everyone's someone like daddy Play glitch like okay And this little kid just getting ready for soccer just like Two-year-old soccer is the most chaotic thing On the face of the planet On the soccer it could be rugby nobody knows you know Hey, you just it's a blob of kids falling a ball around and me running after him like an idiot. So Well guys, um Like I said, just needed to make sure we made a video to say thanks for all our new subscribers Yeah, thank you and then everybody that continues to be with us and stick with us. So Yes The seals paying people to say stuff is just my alligate. It's not real Everybody I didn't actually I don't have any data saying that I actually paying people is just the time and his suspect That's all all right something that you'll get used to no one is paying you I'm sure no one's paying you to say these things about you know all this stuff out Something you'll you'll find fun on this podcast is that we don't we don't care about that There's drama everywhere We we like to take so there's there's three positions that you can take and this is kind of like the standard that we do here Position one is you can really like a thing position two is you can not like the thing We like to take the sneaky third position Which is neither one of the first two because that allows us to make fun of both camps at the same time because we don't care I don't care about Let's hear a list of things. I don't care about I don't care about aircraft getting blown up on target I don't care about your feelings about a war when i'm talking about a specific operation inside of that war which was dope And we have Discombobulators and ghost murmurs and stuff that you don't even know about that's just objectively cool I can think that that's super awesome and not have to talk about the whole other thing I don't care about individual pipeline students. I don't care about your feelings about what how that pipeline student got in Don't care Don't care about any of them right back into the pipeline. Oh my god That didn't happen What the hell you're just giving him special treatment? I desperately want to make this about me. So how do I have my own personal experience rolled into this to operate from authority on this? Would me shut up. No one cares. No one cares. It's going to be fine in two weeks. Nobody's going to care either It happens or it doesn't don't care. I'm going to make fun of you for it. That's what we do Because that's what you deserved But and I hope that you're happy for coming here because we live we love you. That's right Uh, you guys can find us in other places, you know, if you don't want to watch on youtube We are on spotify apple podcast several of the other podcast platforms and we're also on instagram So you guys can find us at ones ready on instagram You can find me at cct peaches on instagram. You can find erin at erin underscore loves underscore america follow me for culture and politics discussion where I definitely make fun of people and make people mad Yeah, how about you trend? Oh, you gotta look it up because you don't even know what my page is called. Yeah, it's trance underscore Why do I know your tag at you down? This is this is actually really this is a good way to intro peaches and I Know the socials and Trent doesn't look at the dms Yeah, especially if it's more than like two sentences long the odds of you getting a response back for me Yeah, I feel very very low if you're messaging anybody in reality. You probably are only talking to me and erin Right unless we go it's specific Trent and then we screenshot it go Trent. You need to go check the dms That requires another text string. Okay that It requires us to draw his attention to it and half the time his response is like nope You guys got it Then they have to listen to me complain about it and then I'll eventually probably get back to that person I have to talk myself out of like a sarcastic or mean comment and try to be nice It's a whole process My favorite is when you ask straight up. You're like, can I be sarcastic at this person or like no Trent? This was a good I know But this was a good question He's reaching out to you to be authentic and to be vulnerable and to give him some good input So can you please play this one straight and the he doesn't even respond back? He's just like crap This is why I don't go on the OTS text thread. It was because I don't want to you know torpedo that business We talked we talked about this with mark longwith who we just recorded with I literally said this exact thing This exact thing I gave you a shout out For the way that you respond in the group chat like peaches will ask us a business They're like a really important question and Trent says something super unhelpful And then I say something unhelpful to Trent and peaches still doesn't have his answer And he has to deal with 40 messages of Trent and I bantering it's the most it is not a clean process Not a clean process All right, everybody. Thanks for uh being here. Don't forget to like subscribe hit that notification bill Leave a comment review all that kind of good stuff and we'll see you later. See you later So you guys are going into special warfare assessment selection is an attributes based selection model. What does that mean? Guys, are we running right now to get fitter over practicing running? All right practicing right I can't freaking So there's a holistic picture that we're looking for the instructors are giving you input and we're expecting an output And everything is for a reason if you guys haven't heard my spiel yet everything that we do every single exercise Has a connection to the job that you're trying to do We don't want people at indoc special warfare assessment selection Whatever they're going to call the new course when it inevitably changes somewhere down the road I don't care what they call it What I need is you to show me the raw materials for the things that I want to build you into Just like everything else it's a crawl walk run
