Today on this show we're going to be covering Summerhouse Episode 14. I believe it's the penultimate episode of the season. So next week is going to be the finale. Then there's going to be the first of its kind of three part Summerhouse reunion to get into all the scandal. And then also the in the city spin-off airs the night of the finale. So we're getting the Summerhouse finale next week. Then it goes into in the city. Then the following week we're going to get part one of the Summerhouse reunion. So I'm excited for all of that. And I'm kind of ready for this season to be winding down. Although I thought the second half of this episode was fantastic. I mean that insane game that they played which is so Housewives coded where they're sitting around the table and they're like, it's one thing you lost and one thing you got rid of. Like that Lindsay came up with that game and that's why she's a star. That's why they gave her a spin-off because they said you know how to do reality TV. So get in there in front of the red light and launch us a spin-off Lindsay Hubbard. But it was fantastic. House Wifery, although this is Summerhouse, that's kind of thing you would find on Real House's Miami when they played that game. Who do you trust the least or they sit around these tables on Salt Lake City and play dumb games. Like what's the meanest thing you said about each other behind their backs. And then they read text messages, which is an insane thing to do. But that's what they do on Housewives. And so I liked the second half of the episode. And then of course we have that huge fight with Carl and Kyle. But the first half of the episode I was like, okay, I'm ready to wrap this season up. I feel like I don't know. Also I think with Summerhouse, the scandal has reinvigorated in a lot of ways. But then in other ways, I feel like I can't go on the internet these any time now without seeing some information about Summerhouse or something going on with Summerhouse. I'm like, I've had enough. Although it's great. It's great. It's great. It's great drama. And when it's over, I'm going to miss it. You know, when they're done within the city or whatever, I'm going to say, I miss these yahoo's. I do. But I did love the second half of the episode. And then some of the Amanda stuff, you know, they play that game at the second half of the episode, which was like one thing you lost and one thing you found. And we didn't get to hear Amanda's answer, but I know she was sitting there. She was trying to think of something to say because in reality, what she lost was her friendship with Sierra and her husband. And what she found, I suppose, was West Stick. That's not the kind of loss and found game I'm interested in. I would certainly rather have what she lost than what she found. But I know she was trying to think of a way to cover it because this whole season, she's been covering it. She was just sitting there probably shaking in her pants thinking, what am I going to say? What am I going to say when they come around the table? I hope they go to Levi first. Well, they could. That's what she's probably thinking, like, go to Levi, go to Levi. I need time. I need time to think. And then, of course, production edited out if they did go to Levi because they keep editing Levi out of these episodes, even at the beach. Levi was at the beach. You guys, Levi was there at the beach scene. And I don't even think they miked her up or the camera was not even honored for not barely one second. I saw her a couple of times in the background running on. Around behind the main cast members. But, you know, they're just editing her shit out of these episodes left, right, and center. Anyway, I know Amanda was probably shitting her pants trying to think of an answer at that table when they're playing that game. Okay, what else? We open on camp, which this was a nice scene. I sort of like when they do the charity this on Summer House, you know, they've done it a few different times where they've shown scenes of charitable things. And I think that could be fun on this show. It reminded me of camp getaway too. You know, I love I'm the only person who watched that show Bravo as camp getaway. And I did love it, even though I don't remember a single thing from it. I did like that they're at camp. I think there's something about camp. I don't know. I think it's because I always wanted to go to camp and I was never sent away to camp when I was a kid. And I watched all the camp movies like I loved camp nowhere and heavyweights and like all those childhood camp movies, the parent trap. Remember when the first part of that movie when Lindsay Lohan's at the camp and then she's learning to fence. And I remember watching that being like, I want to learn defense with Lindsay Lohan's twin. Like I'm interested in that. And I think who was there? Jane Kazmerick was also working at the camp in the parent trap. I'm like, I want to go to the camp that where I can meet the old lady and Jane, Jane Kazmerick Malcolm in the middle. Like that's the kind of place I want to go on my summer house. I want to go on my summer vacay. But alas, I did not get to go, but it was nice to see this is all for Jesse's volunteering as a cancer survivor. He's wearing, oh, this was interesting to me. He was wearing a shirt that people like wrote notes to him on. And this reminds me when I was growing up and when I was in high school, the young gals that I graduated with, they would have these spirit shirts. I forget what they called them, but on Friday's senior year, the senior girls would wear these spirit shirts where they would do puffy paint and they would put the soul in. That was the name of the town. I'm from Solon in puffy paint, a big ass. And then they would write like inside jokes that they had with friends on these shirts. And so then all senior year on Friday's, you'd go to class. And I remember this one gal who sat in front of me in calculus class or whatever. She, I was like reading her shirt, you know, I was reading the different inside jokes that she wrote in puffy paint on her shirt. And I'll never forget, I'm like reading and I'm so distracted and she had this like very inappropriate, I don't even want to say it on the, on the podcast, but she had this like really inappropriate thing in puffy paint. And the shirts were so covered in different inside jokes that the teachers and the staff, I don't think really was paying attention to what they were writing on those shirts. But this one gal, she was sitting in front of me and in the puffy paint, it just said, I'm not even going to say what it says. It was like really just a very dirty foul thing to write on the shirt. And I remember just being so distracted by that. But they were spirit shirts. People used to do that. And I was also, I was upset that the boys, we didn't get to do it because I don't know. I guess it was not cool. It was only for the gals. And I'm like, I want to make a puffy paint shirt. Anyway, CRS gravitating towards the dummy west and they made friendship bracelets. There were also like these at the camp, there were these young gals who were like teenage, going into college. And I don't know, they were all like Carl's telling the girls he's six, five. And they were like, whoa, you know, and that was interesting to me. Then Jesse's telling the gals he's looking for a summer relation or he's looking for a real relationship. He's lonely. And I'm like, I don't know. You need to be talking about these young gals about this, like going into college. I don't know. I guess he did it in the, did he do in the professional? Maybe I'm reading my notes wrong. But Jesse does say he's lonely. So I'm lonely and I'm looking for a relationship. And then it's like they cut to him just making friendship bracelets with a 18 year old girl. And I'm like, okay, well, we don't need you to have a relationship with these 18 year old girls. Like go find somebody else. But I mean, I guess Jesse just, he's looking for a relationship. I don't think he's looking in the camp for the relationship, but the way they edited it, I was like, I don't think they needed to edit it this way. But I'm happy if he wants to find a relationship. Jesse seems, I'll tell you something, Jesse seems okay this season, right? Like second half of the season, I feel like Jesse really came alive and he seems like a nice young gentleman. But I would like us to all remember that they always edit this way. I mean, obviously he's looking okay right now compared to West, that dummy, all his skis and that's going around behind the scenes. And so of course, Jesse looks good. But I just would like to remind us all that that's not the truth because we've seen this time and time again. And so we know, we know that eventually we're not going to, next season, he's probably going to be up to his demon ways and we're going to have to say goodbye to Jesse, that Jesse that we love this season. Goodbye. That's what's going to happen because there's no way he's just going to be this gem of a man because we know in the history of Bravo, that never happens. The next season, we're going to hate this man again. So I just like to hold on to that. Hold on for one more day. Anyway, Jesse gets a microphone at the camp and he's telling everyone it's time to dance. And I was like, uh-oh. I'm like, ah, fuck, he's going to sing, isn't he? And then he didn't sing. He was just like, I think we all need to dance. And then they had maybe a dance party or something like that. But I was certain, maybe they edited it out too, but I was certain he was going to start singing and trying to croon these people at the dance. I'm like, these kids have cancer. Haven't they been through enough? They don't need to hear Jesse Solomon be singing. So fortunately, he didn't, at least on the episode that I watched, he wasn't singing. But I was scared. I was scared. I was scared. Thought he was going to be singing one of those songs that pop up in my TikTok, you know, about camp. Like, we're at camp and I love camp. In my head, that's the song he was about to sing. I love to be at camp. Here we are at camp. I love camp. That's kind of how a song sound to me. At least, you know, I'm tone deaf, so it's not like I really have an understanding of music, but at least that's what they sound like to me. Okay. But he's, he's nice and it was nice that he's doing this charity thing. You know, more of these people should be bringing charities to show because it's actually kind of nice to see a little boring, a little boring, to be honest with you, if I'm being completely honest. And that's not going to be a popular opinion. Obviously, it's great that they're showing the charity, but was it a little, maybe a little, a little boring. Then we cut to Bailey and speaking of boring, Bailey. That's mean. I'm just kidding. Cause you know, I love me some Bailey. Bailey and Levi are playing in the It Girl event. And she said, you know what? I love Levi in the scene too, because she was crying, because she's supportive of her, of her sister, Bailey. And she says, Bailey said she didn't think that her It Girl thing would become as big as it did. And that was so nice to see. And I do feel like they, those two girls support each other and I love that. I like seeing that friendship. Where Levi crying for Bailey. I was like, oh, that's a, that's a sister. That's a friend. That's a soulmate, a friend that's still made a sister. And so I like that. Meanwhile, Amanda and Lindsay talk, all the gals show up to this event. Amanda and Lindsay talk, they talk about Sharon, Carl's mom. And people were very mixed on this. Cause I heard, I actually got a lot of messages. I was sort of tough on Sharon last week on the podcast. And I got a lot of messages, upwards of six, upwards of six messages saying, like, actually you were way too hard on Sharon. And I stand by it. I stand by it. I mean, I, that might not be popular with those six people that DM me, but I do feel like Sharon, you know, I don't think that she needed to be on camera. That's just how I feel because they don't need to be miking up every parent. I think that was Sharon trying to get on screen and have a moment because look at it. And Lindsay pointed out, she said Sharon went on TV to talk shit. And she's right because none of the parents need to be on TV. It's not like they're paying Sharon. So Sharon got miked up on her own accord. They're not giving her a paycheck for any of this shit. So if Sharon really didn't, if she was just concerned about a relationship with Lindsay, she could have sent another separate text to Lindsay saying, Hey, I hope things are okay with us. Sorry for throwing you the bus last season on the show. But instead Sharon wanted to go up to Lindsay and have that moment with the hair. And she said, your hair is looking good. And then they had the same haircut. It was a great scene. I'm grateful for Sharon for doing it. But I think Lindsay was right. Sharon didn't need to go on TV and get miked up. Lindsay says she's always the villain because Carl and Sharon are the victim. And I agree with that. I do. And look, it's not to say Sharon is presenting herself as like a nice sweet mother. But think about the mechanics of going on TV to do that. Like that, that's where I'm like, I have too much of a, that's where I have too much of a, what's the word I'm looking for? Too much of an eye for this reality TV business. I know how it works. So I know they just aren't having Sharon accidentally walk into this event and say, like, I want to, I want to go apologize or talk to Lindsay or have this moment. Lindsay, it's like she had to pre-plan that. And there's no reason she had to do it because she's not a part of this cast. So it's like, what is the reason you're doing that? It's, that's where I, that's where I step in and my reality TV thinking cap comes in. Is that a thing? Okay. So then we cut to the house throughout the weekend. It's last weekend. Sierra's dressed as the Lorax. Now look, I love that, that little monster Lorax. I just read the Lorax to my son on Earth Day. We love the Lorax. But first of all, they weren't allowed to even say that it was the Lorax. So she just dressed up like that. But I, did she ever, I don't think she ever once said it. It was like, she was very clearly the Lorax from Dr. Seuss. And they weren't allowed to say it. So it was like, are some of the audience, like, if you're not familiar with the Lorax from Dr. Seuss, you're going to be watching that and be like, what the fuck is she dressed as? Like, why does she have a big ass yellow mustache in orange tights? Like, what is going on? And they would just, I guess never explained it. But then you know how I also feel. And look, we're team Sierra all the way, but I don't like when they're trying to be funny on reality TV because they're not comedians. And so I, this whole scene with the, with the water gun fight, like I will not recap this water gun fight because I just hated it. And that's not to say I don't want to see them having fun. Okay. I like when they're having authentic, natural fun. I don't like when they're trying to be comedians and, and have a fun scene. I don't know if I'm making sense. It's like, it's like planning a fun scene instead of just having happening naturally. Like I didn't, that's where I felt like it crossed a line for me. And yeah, why was Sierra dressed as a Lorax? Like what, what even, what was the, how did, where did she get it? Why, what was the reasoning behind it? Was it Earth Day? No, this was summertime. Earth Day just happened in, in April. Anyway, so they did some water fight, water gun fight. And look, I'm happy they had fun. Again, I want them to have natural fun. It just, it felt a little stagey and like, oh, we got to have this fun scene. Also, I thought they would have cut it, but my theory is they're stretching out the season a little bit. I do, I feel like they're stretching out to like, oh, we need to fill the episode. So really up until this point, I was like, I'm bored with this episode. I was, that's my honest truth. But the men bond as they're getting ready. KJ said it changed his life to be bonding with these boys. And then West is wearing, what was West's pants? Those flowy yoga pants. I thought he was ready to sing that song, Gotta Be from the 90s. Remember with Desiree where she's like, you gotta be bad, you gotta be a boulder. And I thought that was what West was going to start singing in those flowy yoga pants, because he looked like Desiree in that music video. And then Sierra suggests Amanda getting an apartment from away from Kyle for space. And Lindsay's, as Sierra's suggesting this on the way to the house, Lindsay's like, well, isn't that like divorce? Like Lindsay says Kyle's in the wrong with all of this, but that he has feelings too. So she feels sort of caught in the middle. Then we cut to the beach. They all go to the beach. It looks crowded. KJ fell asleep at the beach. And I do love when KJ's just like falling asleep every episode. That man can sleep. He can sleep and I'm so jealous because don't you feel that way? Do you get jealous of people who could fall asleep like on a plane? I have to be like heavily drugged to fall asleep on a plane. Like you have to shoot me with a tranquilizer dart or something to be falling asleep on a plane. And then I look at people like my husband who's just able to just shut their eyes. In one second, my dad's like, he could fall asleep anywhere. My dad could fall asleep just upright while he's driving in the car or on a roller coaster. Like it doesn't matter where he is. My dad could fall asleep. It's like if he decides to close his eyes and goes take a nap, he can. And I envy that because there's times when I'm at places and I'm thinking, I don't want to be awake for this, right? Talking to somebody you don't care for. Like I would love to just be able to close my eyes and fall asleep, but I can't do that. I'm not that kind of person. I'm not built that way. And so KJ, it looks like, is built like my dad in that way of like, he could just fall asleep. He's at the beach on camera with a mic pack on and he's able to snooze. I'd feel like I was at work. I'd be like, I got to work. I got to do something. I got to get in there. And he's just like, I mean, goodbye. I'm going to sleep. Goodbye. Yes. Yes. I guess he, I don't know. Then we see Ben, Ben and Sabrina. Okay. Sabrina, who is of course my Northeast Ohio sister. And I'm trying to be on her side, but they do have a lot of footage of them kissing each other. And it seemed to me, did you notice this? It wasn't productions footage. I don't believe it seemed like cell phone footage that Ben and Sabrina had taken of themselves kissing. And I didn't understand that. Ben does say, he wants to say, I love you to Sabrina and ask her to be the girlfriend, which I do believe they already are girlfriend and boyfriend. And he's probably already said, I love you, but they were trying to, I feel like Ben was trying to lie about it. Right. Like, and it seems like everybody's been sort of accusing him that even on the cast of like, I think they were probably together and Ben wanted to pretend he was single for the show. And then he realized like, he didn't have to anymore. And so he's like, oh, Sabrina, I had to get that. That's what I think happened. But I'm more concerned with all these videos they had of them kissing. Like, where did they get those? And then the other weird thing about it is to me, when something like that happens, that means that Sabrina and or Ben had to text production, the videos they have on them, their phones of them kissing. You know, so it's, here's what's, it seemed to me what happened when they showed these, it was like three different clips, I think, of Ben and Sabrina kissing, Smoochon. And I feel like they set up a camera or a phone and videoed themselves kissing. And then they had to what, text it over to production. They just texted it on over and said, here, play this on the episode. Like that is weird to me. And so I've already gotten some strange vibes from them, you know, when they were talking about going away for Christmas and, and I don't know, I get weird vibes. I get weird vibes that Sabrina wasn't even in this episode. And, you know, I do love her. I do love my Sabrina because she's my Northeast Ohio sister. And so I have no choice but to support. And so I hope it was from someone from Northeast Ohio who was videoing them kissing. But it is, I can't imagine setting up a phone and just videoing me at Matt and I, Smoochon each other. And it wasn't in like a sexual way. It wasn't like them kissing for only fans or something like that. It was like, that just them, I don't know. But it was, it seemed like cell phone footage. It did not seem like production footage. So they just texted on over. I don't buy it. I don't get it. Then we have Mia and, oh, Mia and Amanda seen at the beach. Let's take a break here. And we're going to have to come back and discuss this at length. Okay. So go to the bathroom, get a snack, do whatever you got to do. Tell your husband that you'll be up later for bed. Like, and I love all those sounds. I don't know, it makes me feel safe when I just hear the sounds of AOL and Stim Messenger and I don't know, just want to open the doorway to the past. Okay, so then me and Amanda, they're at the beach, you guys. What the fuck was this? So Amanda asks about after soft bars opening, there was that double date situation that happened. And Amanda says, or Mia's like, why didn't you come Amanda? And Amanda's like, oh, I was, she was, I wasn't invited by West. And she's, then she says to Mia, the last thing I would do is invite Sierra and West out on an intimate date. Then I'm like, Amanda, she seems so kind of like upset and butthurt about the fact that they went out and that people are excited about West and Sierra. And I think if we didn't know that the scandal had happened off screen, we would all be watching this and being like, oh, actually Amanda's being a good friend, trying to protect her friend Sierra. Like we would all be on Amanda's side with so much of this, even with all of the Kyle stuff. Like if the scandal didn't happen, obviously at the end of the episode, when Kyle says, fuck you, Amanda, like that was not right. That's not the way you should talk to your wife. Of course we all understand that. But imagine how much worse it would have played. Like it already played bad, but imagine how much worse it would have played if Amanda wasn't sneaking around and then not only that and that scene, which we're going to get to, I have the chills just about to say it, but when West like moved his chair to sit next to Amanda, it was like that would have played. So we would all been on West and Amanda's side. And then now watching it, it's like, oh, actually this feels like fucked up. But anyway, back to the beach, me and Amanda are talking about Sierra. And Amanda says it would make her the happiest in the world if West is ready and they got back together. But Amanda says she's weary of him, which is so weird. She's then she like goes above and beyond to say like, Sierra is a special, incredible person. And you need to treat her different than any other woman in the world. And I don't trust anyone with her heart. And she says, I would die for that girl. And she said, I would cut off West in a second if she gave me the look to, and I'm like, girl, quiet. Because a lot of you didn't have to say all that. Like what do you mean? That's like going above and beyond, like saying some of those words about anyone, even a best friend, like to say those on camera and then be sneaking in the background. But it's like so fucked up to be like going, she's like laying it on so thick to say, you need to treat Sierra different than any other woman in the world. I don't trust anyone with her heart. Say I would die for that girl. I would die for her. And then you, but you won't die for her, but you'll go behind her back and sneak with the West. Girl, I'm disgusted. Get out of here. Get out of here. Goodbye. Get out of here, Amanda. What do you mean? What do you do? You would die for that girl. You would die for her, but you wouldn't even be a good friend and not fuck West. That Yosemite Sam's ass, the dumbass hat he's always wearing and those flowy yoga pants. You got to be bold. You got to be wiser in the words of Desiree. And so Amanda, you need to go listen to that song. You need to love yourself, girl. You need to be bold and wiser and you're not being bold and wiser. You got to listen as the day unfolds and challenge what the future holds. Amanda, did you not ever hear that song? Where were you at? Were you not listening to Delilah or Soft Rock one of 3.5 or love songs on the coast with Karen Sharp? You need to get your ass in a car and listen to Delilah and or Karen Sharp. And when they play that song Desiree, which they do nightly, you need to listen to those words, girl. And you need to love yourself and you got to be wiser. And that does not mean stealing your best friend who you're saying you die for. The man that she likes who looks like you somebody Sam. And you got to come on Amanda, love yourself. What are you doing, girl? Be wiser, listen as the day unfolds and challenge what the future holds. And the future does not hold you scheming on your best friend that you say you died for. And while you're married, what are you doing, girl? What are you doing? And West too, I mean, obviously disgusting West. I shut up West. He didn't even say anything in this scene. He wasn't even in this scene, but I was like, like, shut up, get out of here. Goodbye West. I mean, I'd almost rather see Levi on screen with the conversation with somebody than have to look at West and Amanda talk behind their friends backs and all this stuff. It's skeezy. I don't like it. Then we cut to Sierra and Kyle. Sierra tells them to separate for a month and Kyle's like, are you guys all having these conversations by my back? And Sierra's like, yeah, basically, like, yeah, everybody's talking about it. Then what else is going on? Then they all go to the house. Lindsay invites a chef. She's playing in this dinner party. Everyone's getting ready. Amanda and West have another like weird flirty moment. They're having a lot of weird flir... It was, oh, this was when it was, it was like Amanda was walking past West's room and she looked in there and she stopped and she sort of gave him this like really flirty smile. She's like, oh, like it was very Carrie Bradshaw and sex in the city. Like, oh, there's West. And then West is like, you know, looking at her like a hotty partner or whatever, use some of these Sam's stuff, whatever. And Jesse Solomon's in the corner just practicing and singing like, oh, I'm in the house now. It's summertime. You know, that's what's basically going on here is they're getting ready for the dinner. And Amanda stops at the room and just looks at West. They have this flirty moment and then she gets back to her room with Kyle and Kyle's like, hey, Amanda. And Amanda just walks right past his ass, his pale ass, his pale, young looking ass. He just, yeah, she walks right by him. He's like, hey, Amanda, I'm back to get in the shower. How are you excited for the dinner? And Amanda doesn't even say anything to him. But meanwhile, she stopped at West's door and is like, dumbass. Okay. So then what else is going on? Lindsay got the chef. The chef says he was either going to be a DJ or a chef. And I feel like I missed when like DJs really became a thing. Now it's like everybody's being a DJ and I don't even, I don't even understand what, so what, what do you mean you're all, why is everybody, was that like in a, you know, when you go to school and they tell you all about all different career paths, like I don't remember everybody saying a DJ like chef. I remember. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Or even you get these books, you know, I read to my son and a lot of the ABC books, I'm sure they have some ABC book that's like career path. So it's like F for farmer and I don't know D for dog walk or whatever it is. But I can't imagine D would be for DJ. Like, does that make any sense? Like, I don't remember a time when DJ was presented to me as a career path and it seems like I'm watching the Bravo network these days and they're all becoming DJs. Durinda Medley, Meredith Marks, Kyle Cook, DJ Maddie Reese. Maddie Reese is the only one that I would actually like, you know, I Maddie Reese from Southern hospitality, Southern hospitality. I, I feel like she's a star. I do. And I like her and Joe Bradley together. I do. And I, yeah, I would go see her and like, I'm not the kind of person that was going to is going to go to like a DJ residency in Vegas. But if I accidentally like had to go to a party that was DJed by someone like I would absolutely go to Maddie Reese, her DJ booth. Kyle just DJed actually post SNL. Did anyone see this? Kyle like went to SNL, the Olivia Rodrigo episode this past week, and he DJed, I suppose, the after party. So it's like DJ Kyle Cook is getting some good gigs. But I just, so I don't know, the chef became a chef instead of a DJ. But I'm like, when did this DJ become a thing? Anyway, let's keep it moving. What else we got? We have the chef Bailey, oh Bailey and Carl, like the Bailey and Carl thing. I'm a little, um, a little confused about whether where they go from here. It seems like it's fizzling. They did make out this episode, but I don't know. Was it a real thing? And it feels like production's not even interested in it. Like they just keep wanting to move. They want to, speaking of keeping it moving. Like production wants to keep it moving because they don't even, they're not even really getting into this Bailey and Carl thing. Sierra and KJ, they get the grills that they were fitted for. Carl tells, oh, Carl, speaking of him and Bailey, he tells Bailey how he likes her modest dress. Like his flirting is very, I get a very uncomfortable watching these two flirt. And they're like talking about her see-through dress that she wore at the soft bar. And she's like, yeah, I wanted people to see through it. Like that's why I wore it. And Carl's like, oh, you did? It's like, yeah, new shit, Carl. Like what do you think? She just didn't realize that it was see-through. She wore a thong and a white dress. And like she didn't realize it was see-through. Like people look at their clothes before they leave the house. Like she knew that. And Carl's like, oh, you knew that was happening? It's like, yeah, you dumb shit. No, I love Carl. Carl seems so sweet, but it was like such a straight guy moment of like, what do you mean? Like his flirting was just so awkward. Like, you were in a see-through dress. Did you know it was see-through? Yeah, she did Carl. That's why she put it on and bought it and wore it to your event. You dummy. Now make out with her. She's interested in you. So wake up and do something about it. Bailey, you know what? Carl, you're going to regret not pursuing this Bailey thing because I think Bailey's a star. I love me some Bailey. Okay. Okay. Then Lindsay, they're all, this is when she suggests this lost and found game, you guys, which, oh, it was so, I got the shivers just thinking about it. But she sits around the dinner table that the chef made. By the way, the dinner looked delicious. Didn't the dinner look good? Like sometimes the dinner looks a little weak. Remember Amanda's birthday party where it was like chicken fingers and mac and cheese? Although that sounded yummy. But this looked like a fancy dinner. It did look like a fancy dinner. And Lindsay's like, let's play lost and found. And she's like, here's an example. Carl lost me, but found a lot of thirsty girls in his DMs. Oh, Lindsay, Lindsay Hubbard, you are a star. How many sandwiches have you made for me? All right. So they go around the table play this lost and found game. Now some of them do not get any screen time. I don't think we found out what Ben's lost and found was. Certainly didn't hear from Levi the whole episode or season. Then also, who else did we miss? We didn't get to Amanda. I don't think we got to Carl. So I was a little bummed. Like I kind of would have liked to hear all the answers, to be honest with you. Glad we got some of them. Maybe we'll get some more next week. I don't know. But for now, we did hear that Bailey found her joy again because she had just gotten out of this relationship. And she said this summer she found her joy. And that's when she makes that with Carl. And I'm sorry. I don't know if I need that at dinner. I'm happy that the two of them made out. And I do want to encourage their flirting. And I want to encourage Carl stepping up and making a move with her because it seems like Bailey's interested and she seems like a great gal. And so Carl, you need to step up. So I'm all for A plus leaning in all that stuff to those two. However, at the dinner table with this gorgeous food that I mentioned that the chef made, I certainly don't want to see Carl and Bailey like making out in front of my chicken or in front of my salad. It's not something I'm interested in. And so I look, think they should have done the make out after post dinner. Although post dinner, you can have garlic breath, you can have, but at a dinner table, like it was, it was dinner time at a dinner table. I'm sure they were a little tipsy, maybe not all of them, but it seemed like this was not the place that I want to be eating my, my appetizer and have to look at Bailey and Carl tongue kissing. I don't want to see them tongue kissing at the table while I'm trying to eat my meal. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. I'm sorry to say I do want them together and I'm not some prude PDA against PDA or anything like that. Like I'm all for it. Uh, I'm all for it. Unless it's at a museum park when you're in line for a Texas twister or whatever the, the roller coaster you're about to go on is like, I do not support when they're making out there because you know, there's always some teenage couple. There's always some gothic teenage couple in line for the roller coaster at the museum park who's making out in front of you. And so I don't support it there and I don't support it at the dinner table. But other than that, like hold each other's hands, tongue kiss, all you want, like go for it. There's a time and a place though, where it's not appropriate. And those times and places are when you're in line at the museum park and or at the dinner table when I'm about to eat a meal, a good meal prepared by a professional chef who's not a DJ. And so I don't think they should have been making out there. Isn't the truth that you go to the museum park? There's always a couple. It's like a hot summer day and they're wearing all black and they're just like in line in front of you at the museum park and they just can't keep their hands off each other and they're just tongue in each other left, right and center. And you're like thinking just go somewhere else. Like go in the backseat of your car or or litter a movie theater, a privacy of a quiet theater. But like when I'm trying to go on a Ferris wheel, like I don't even see a tongue kissing. It's like a nap. We're like in your the line will start moving and you have to like interrupt. They're making out to tell them like, Hey, can you move up a little bit? Like the line here for the little mermaid ride at Disneyland is is moving ahead without you. So do you mind picking your ass up and moving forward? Like I don't want to have to say that when I'm trying to just see Scuttle and company and the little mermaid ride at Disneyland. Do you know what I mean? Like I'm trying to go on Tower of Terror like move your ass. So the line keeps moving. It's like there's always somebody there. Anyway, I'm glad that they're I'm glad that Bailey and Carl are making out in general, just not in front of my salad. West says that he found his relationship with Sierra and I'm like, did you did you? Electric chair. Telling the whole table you found your relationship with Sierra and he's like, it means the world to me. It's really important to me. I'm like, get out of here. Get the fuck out. Goodbye. What do you mean? What do you mean? You it means the world to you. It means the world to you, but obviously it means nothing to you because you're not even respecting any of her wishes. You're being a jerk. Sierra says she lost the weight of hating West and she loves him the most. And she also found the bars. You know, really, when I when I'm saying it out loud, this game doesn't really make a ton of sense. Like I get what we're doing, the lost and found thing, but maybe we could have narrowed it down to some more specifics or Lindsey could have maybe given a little more guidance or a little more. There's something about it that I'm a little confused about. And it seems like the other cast members are also confused about like, what is lost and found mean because they're all giving kind of, it's like they all have something they want to say and they're finding a way to fit it into the game. But the game doesn't necessarily fit what they want to say. Does that make sense? Like so, yeah, for Sierra to say she lost the weight of hating West, like it's like, what the fuck does that mean? Like I get when I really break it down, I get it, but it's just like a kind of a loose, it's a little bit of a loose thing. And then, oh, Lindsey, Lindsey could tell the game's not going exactly how she wants. She's like noticing that it's a little too copacetic, like everyone's getting along too well. So that's when Lindsey steps up as the reality star that she is. And she's like, well, Kyle lost his wedding ring, but found his DJ career. And that was a beautiful thing because she's, she's throwing Kyle under the bus for the sake of our entertainment and I support that. And it would have played so differently because that was what really like sparked Kyle's fuse. And Kyle has this big blow up and just again, imagine if Kyle had this blow up and we were all on Amanda's side, it would have played so differently. And then Kyle, this is when he starts talking about how he's DJing, he's about to sign with a new manager who wants him to play Vegas and he hasn't signed with the manager yet. But Lindsey starts grilling Kyle and he's, she's like, so did you have this conversation with your wife and are you guys on the same page? And Kyle's like, oh, I didn't sign with the manager yet. And Kyle says his DJ career has been the butt of every joke this season. He doesn't get it. He's like, this is what I love to do. This is my passion and all this stuff. And Lindsey's like, well, you're not ready for having kids and you guys aren't on the same page. Like just because this is your dream, you didn't get in this marriage and tell your wife that you wanted to be a DJ. Like this is just something you're springing on or after you're married. And Kyle, this is when he points out that actually Amanda's the one who's not ready for kids. And he was hurt that at the reading last season, Amanda had said something about not being ready. And then, oh, Kyle had said he's like worked his ass off for Loverboy with no joy in his life. And I understand who he was saying, but also I just have to say that like Kyle, that it wasn't like someone forced you to start Loverboy. Do you know what I mean? Like for him to say he's been miserable for seven years that he's worked his ass off with no joy in his life from Loverboy. I get he was building the business, but like nobody forced you to do that. Like you didn't, you started that business. You could have worked corporate or just done this TV gig and then done some sponsorship stuff on the side. And it's great that you wanted to make the business a success, but you can't really blame, I don't know, it feels like he wants to blame other people for the fact that he went into Loverboy and had a miserable seven years. And it's like, well, actually it sounds like it's a life of your own doing. Like I hate to say it, I'm on Kyle's side right now, but you know, let's call it as we seize it. But then I'm happy, I guess he's, it seems like the DJ career is doing well and the new manager is going to get him all these new dates. And he says with the new manager, he'll be able to pick and choose when and where he goes. So he can say, oh, go to that Vegas date or I'll do this one. But it seems like he's not on the same page with Amanda. But here's the thing, I do feel, this might get me in trouble. I feel like Amanda plays the victim with it and she leans a little too, and watching it now, knowing what we know now in real life, watching it, I feel like I'm seeing a different side of Amanda where she does like to play the victim with it. And she's very smart about playing the victim with it because obviously she had us all bamboozled. She had me bamboozled. But it seems like you want to side with her because like, oh yeah, he didn't communicate these things. But then when Kyle sort of blows up and he says, fuck you, I mean, I was thinking, I, there must be things also in their household where they have these conversations. And then I read it as sort of Kyle gets frustrated that on screen Amanda acts like the victim when she knows some of these situations. Like maybe she knows Kyle's signing with this manager. Obviously we saw a conversation of him telling her a few episodes ago. So then when she's sitting around the dinner table and she's acting sort of like, yeah, I'm the victim in all of this, which it is, she is the victim in a lot of ways with the marriage. And I can't, we got to, I guess, sort of separate. And I suppose we don't really know if her and West at this point were in a dalliance. But if they weren't, then she was sort of, you know, and then the other thing I want to say is like Carl or Kyle storming out. And when he says, fuck you, like there is a side where it just, he, he blows up and I don't like that. And yeah, I don't like his temper and him saying, fuck you and then storming out. Like it's good that he walks away, but sometimes Kyle's temper, I think like, if you're doing this on TV, I always say that if you're, if this is the way you are on TV, like what's it like behind closed doors? Because I would imagine even if you do reality TV for 10 plus years, you still know you're on reality TV, you know how the audience is going to respond. So you're, there's going to be some level of, of having a little wall up. Obviously we want all our reality stars to just be very natural on camera and live their lives and authentic and all of these things. But there's no way I don't believe for anyone to be 100% authentic on reality TV. Like you still have some awareness that you're putting on a show, you're in a production, you're on TV show, there's camera people, there's going to be edits, there's producers, etc. So I always wonder like, or I always assume that whatever we're seeing on screen, those behaviors, if they're really nice, they're probably even nicer off screen, right? Or everything's sort of going to be different off screen. Am I making sense? Maybe not. Who's to say? Who's to say? But then Kyle storms out, Ben does stick up for Kyle and this is, Kyle, Ben's like, well, I think Kyle's trying to say he can, he could decide where he goes or whatever. And then this is when Kyle says, fuck you, Amanda. And then everyone gets activated. Wes stands up and moves his chair next to Amanda. And I'm like, what? I don't, makes me very uncomfortable. That's where I'm like, oh, Wes and Amanda were definitely like something was going on, right? There's too many like weird, I don't know, too many weird things. There's too many, I'm seeing things. There's too many things that I'm seeing that I'm like side-eyeing and I'm interested. Kyle says he has no partnership with Amanda. He freaks out. He's like, I'm tired of normalizing how much should I deal with? He throws a drink and then Carl chases him and he's like, fuck you, Carl. And then we end on to be continued. And I'm like, I can't end yet. I need the rest of the episode. Like, hurry up next week. Bring us the episode. I need to see it. And you know what's going on next because Carl and Kyle get into it. And Carl is obviously thinking he's like sticking up for what's her face. And now Carl's, this is why Carl's a mess. This is why Carl's a mess in real time because he was sticking up for Amanda, Miss Petula. And then now he's finding out Miss Petula was, he's in the background with somebody's Sam's ass. I did hear there was some interview with one of the executives at Bravo who said they are filming or they filmed more scenes after the scandal for in the city, not for summer house. So you know a lot of people were like, why didn't they pick up filming for summer house? Well, they did have supposedly pick up filming and film a scene or something that's going to be in the city premiere, I believe. That's what I heard. I hope I'm getting that right. I might not be, so somebody double-check my work. Moving on. Moving on. The thing that I wanted to talk about in regards to the valley. Later this week, I am going to cover the valley. Last week I didn't get to the valley and honestly, I'm going to be real with you guys. So remember I said at the end of the summer house recap last week, I was like, I'm going to try to get to the valley, but I didn't know if I was going to because I had a few personal things, a few work things going on and just was like a really hectic. And I knew that by the time I was able to get to the valley, it wouldn't have, the recap wouldn't have come out for a couple of days after and I was like, okay, I'm going to try to get to it, but I didn't know. Anyway, so the valley airs, I watch it as it airs and I took notes, took very detailed notes of the valley and I was going to recap. I was going to do a whole recap of the valley last week and I was excited to talk about the Michelle and Dr. Dre of it all. But I watched the episode and I knew the recap was going to be late and I thought the episode was so bad that I was like, I didn't even want to get to the microphone to cover it. I just was like a little, I just wasn't into it and I didn't want, I hate to, people sometimes will say like, why don't you recap this other show or why don't I try to follow my heart and only recap the shows that I'm enjoying, that I'm enjoying watching, even if I'm hating some of the people on our storylines or whatever. I have to have some level of enjoyment because sitting down and taking notes, people might not realize, but to take three pages of notes for a TV show that you hate is no fun. And then I also don't like coming on the microphone and just like shitting on a show. I like shitting on it in like a fun, silly way, but then underneath it all enjoying the episode, like summer house, like I can shit on them all I want, but like I still am enjoying watching the season or there might be an episode I don't like, but like I'm overall enjoying it. But then with the Valley this past week, I was just like not enjoying it at all. And I don't want to get on the microphone and just talk shit about something that I'm hating. And then it's like, everybody leaves the episode and they're like, wow, that was so negative and nasty and mean and horrible. Like, why did I want to listen to that? You know, that's like a fine line. It's a fine line. Like you want to drag them a little bit, but you don't want to be hating the episode and the show so much. And so that's sometimes why I don't cover a lot of I try to follow what I think is going to be a good season and and sometimes we get into the recapping and then the season is going poorly and I'm like, oh, fuck, I have to continue recapping the season. But that's why I try to go into it. I try to only recap the shows that I think are going to have a good season. And, you know, I do my best sometimes to get it wrong, sometimes we get it right. And yeah, so last week on the Valley, I just wasn't into it. But you know what, I do want to talk about Michelle and Dr. Dre. And the other thing I want to stick up for the Valley with is we had this scandal that sort of reinvigorated summer house, right? And that happened with Vanderpump rules towards the later season. We had the scan of all and it happens on like a smaller level with a lot of the Housewives shows. Like sometimes you get a great season of Orange County or Beverly Hills or whatever. Sometimes they come through like they'll have a few boring seasons than a really good one. And I think with the Valley, I feel like there's a scandal in their future. I don't know what it is. And I'm not talking about Michelle dating Dr. Dre, which is very interesting to me and totally unexpected. It sounds like a mad lib, but there were photographs of Michelle and Dr. Dre, the rapper holding hands. And we all just saw it and thought like, what the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck? And it seems like they might be having a relationship. And so that's a fun, interesting scandal. Great. Not even a scandal. It's a fun, interesting little thing, side quest. But I predict and I do feel that the Valley cast has a scandal in them. Now, I don't know when it'll be, who it'll involve, when it'll happen. It might be three seasons down the road. But one of the things that I want to encourage us is even when we're having these like sort of bad episodes of the Valley, I do trust in my heart that this cast is such a mess that eventually they will have like a national scandal, not a small scandal, not like Jack's getting fired off the show or not something like that. I think they're going to have a national scandal at some point. Might be two seasons from now. They have it in them, I think, I think. But the Michelle and Dr. Dre, but I was like, what the fuck is that? I'm into it. And we better get some information about it on the show or we better get Dr. Dre on the show. I want to hear Brittany's response to all this. I just could imagine her being like, I didn't forget about Dre. Can't you imagine? Can't you imagine just Brittany and Dr. Dre in a scene together? Brittany's scenes are my favorite. I don't know if it's just because I like recapping Brittany's scenes. But I, people hate Brittany and I love me some Brittany, Brit Bananas. I find Brittany just be so fun to watch on TV, even when she's infuriating, it makes me laugh. And I don't know what that says about me, but I do love my Brit Bananas on the Valley. And I feel like I'm the only one. But it was also frustrating last week on the Valley. It was like, it seems like a lot of the cast won't film with Janet and Jason, specifically Janet. And we don't like as an audience, this is what's going to get people on Janet's side because the audience doesn't want the cast deciding who's filming and who's not. The audience wants to be in charge of that. Like we want to be the ones to influence those decisions. Right or wrong, it's like, I think that's how largely the Bravo audience, it's like, let the executives, let the audience tell the executives, like we hate this person, you know, not, not even so directly, but sometimes it's like, let the audience speak and we don't want the cast to be like, I'm not filming with that person, let's push them off the show, because that just makes the audience want to see more of that person that they're trying to push off the show. So I think it's going to backfire with all of them and everybody basically not wanting to have anything to do, Nia, not wanting to have anything to do with Janet. It's like, that's, you gotta, you gotta accept the apology and move on. And even if you want to give them the cold shoulder or something like that, that's fine, but you have to show up to each other's events, whether you like it or not, because this TV show and you could be mean at that event to that person, but like we need you showing up. And so when they're not showing up to Janet's event and stuff like that, it's like, okay, this is, you guys are trying to produce the show and we need the producers to produce the show and let the audience let the show know if we're hating a cast number, we hate a storyline or we hate whatever. And then producers will act accordingly. But when the cast is doing it, it's like really no fun and it sucks a lot of the air out of the show. And I felt like that was what was happening last week on the show. And I don't like that. I don't like that. But what else? Do I have any other information or thoughts on the Valley? Again, I think there's a scan on the future. Hopefully this week is better. We're going to be recapping in full this week. But for now, I just wanted to say that I was going to get to the recap of the Valley, but I just didn't like it that much last week. And I thought if I talk for an hour about it, it'll just sound so nasty and negative. And so I stopped myself. I bit my tongue. You know what is really good right now is, and I told you this, this past week of the Atlanta, we're not recapping Atlanta, although I do think it's a fantastic season. We're not covering any of the housewives right now, but Rhode Island is obviously delivering. And Atlanta, I think is fantastic cast. The end scene between Angela and Pinky, if you have not watched it, you guys, that it was like a 10 minute scene of them arguing across the dinner table. And it was just like, it felt old school classic housewives. And Angela was Angela is such a good housewife, Angela Oakley. Oh, you guys. And even Pinky too, I like find Pinky very interesting for the show. She seems very honest about like her bankruptcies and stuff. But then when somebody comes at her like Angela about it, it's like then Pinky got mad, but Pinky wasn't afraid to like go back at Angela, which for a first season housewife, obviously Angela's been doing this season longer. But Pinky's brand new and seemed like she's already fine getting in the mix with Angela. Although I do think Angela won the argument. I was proud of Pinky for sitting there. She did try to storm off at one point, but then she sat back down. But it was like the fight was fantastic. It was fantastic. And I just, it felt like old school housewives. So if you're not watching it, and I'm like, I highly encourage it because it's so good. And Rhode Island too. But you know, I know people are loving Rhode Island. I'm to be honest with you a little behind, but it's nice. One of the good things about not covering all the shows is like it's nice for me to be able to sit down and watch like Rhode Island or Atlanta and like not have to think about taking notes. Like I could just sit and enjoy it and like have my Danny time. Like because I've always loved the reason why I started this podcast because I love Bravo so much. And I'm so grateful that I get to do this for a living. And I've been doing this podcast for since 2017 now. And I feel so grateful to everybody who listens, but the reason I started it was because I love Bravo so much. And I was always watching all of these shows out of my love for them. And so it's great to be able to take notes and dive in and, you know, pick them apart in that way. But it's also really nice for me to kind of go back to my roots and go back to my roots and just enjoy the shows and not think about like having to take a note or type something up about it or, you know, that kind of thing. It's like, I think they need to program better because then we go through these droughts where there's no shows on. And right now it feels like there's 100 shows on. I can't keep up with all of them. I didn't think it was the best movie ever, but I did enjoy it. And I got a big ass soft pretzel. I went with a friend and it was, it was nice to just sit in the movie theater and just see my gals, see the girls and have a soft pretzel. And it's a good time. It's a good time.
