1140: Augusta Preview Show

•Apr 6, 2026about 2 months agoSummary
No Laying Up's Augusta National preview show features hosts analyzing the 2025 Masters field, discussing why this year feels unusually open without clear favorites like Rory or Scotty dominating, and conducting a four-round draft to identify their top picks for the tournament.
Insights
- The 2025 Masters lacks a dominant narrative compared to recent years, with no clear favorite emerging—creating genuine uncertainty across the field rather than focusing on one player's ascent
- Around-the-green play and chipping accuracy are significantly more important at Augusta than putting, with winners gaining 5.5+ strokes around greens since 2021—more than any other major
- Course conditioning appears exceptionally firm and dry this year, which historically favors certain playing styles and could elevate unexpected contenders while neutralizing others
- Statistical modeling shows the typical Masters winner is a 32-year-old American, approximately 6 feet tall, with elite iron play and an under-par scoring average at Augusta—a profile that fits multiple contenders this year
- The absence of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson marks a generational shift, with younger players like Scottie Sheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Collin Morikawa now representing the sport's future elder statesmen

"I think Bryson's going to win. I know that's not really what I want to be rooting for, but I think it is incredibly high floor."
Sully•During draft round one
"The story is a boring one of how wide open it is. I do think I have, you know, I don't want to go down the leaderboard or all the storylines, but I'm still really, really curious on Scotty."
Dige•During storyline analysis
"Around the green makes a determination of who wins this thing. That skill, especially who is good at playing shots from around the green from short grass, how that has rung extremely true."

The right club. Be the right club today. Yes! There's a lot! Now that's better than most. How about in? It is better than most. Better than most! Expect anything different? Win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win to see. Oh, I can happily report that the Zertek is working well. No free ads. And we are on the, we're on the backside of the allergies. We're, we're in a good place. I think we shall certainly see big Randy is here. Hello, Mr. Big. Hi guys. I slept in this chair last night. I've been so excited for master's week. I'm ready to go. I've been thinking about a lot of things. Let's get at it. The pie man is here. Hello, Dige. Hello, Sally. Randy, I'm with you, man. I've, I've, I've hit the point in my prep where I've just, I get like mid afternoon. I'm like, Oh, it's Jake Knapp. Like the obvious favorite. I'm like, okay, I think I need to, I need to chill just a little bit, check in with everybody else. So I'll be happy to stress test some things today. Icarito, Mr. Neil Schuster going to be joining me here shortly in Augusta, Georgia, but is calling in from home. That's of this Monday. Hello, Neil. Hello, Sally. Good to be here. I'm trying to pace myself. You know, I don't want to, don't want to go get into DJ's lane there. I know how that can go. You get, you get out of your skis on Monday, Tuesday, but I'm can't win it. Fantastic. And I'm happy to be here. I was like, first, I got up early this morning, got out there early, just went up right to the first day. I was like, all right, it's time for stuff to start happening. And just for like an hour and a half was like, I forgot nothing really actually happens on Monday morning. I might be a little, a little too jazzed up, a little too excited, but we have a lot to discuss on this here episode. We're going to be talking a lot of course about Augusta this week and what separates this test from other weeks on tour. But one thing is for sure, you need to have trust and confidence in your equipment around Augusta case in point Saturday's final round, the Gus National Zopper amateur, the champion, the runner up in six of the top eight finishes. We're all playing a pro v1 or pro v1 X golf ball and title list, irons, drivers, Voki wedges and Scotty Cameron putters. Each one of those players is gaming a setup that's unique to her game and her end of her performance demands. The only way to be sure that the equipment in your bag is right is by working with a professional fitter. Go to title list.com to find a fitting near you, get your setup dialed in. The best players in the world are using a fitter. You should be using a fitter as well. You do not need to be making these decisions on your own. None of us need to be making these decisions on our own title list.com to find a thing near you and they will get you dialed. Dij, I'm turning it over to you. Where do you want to start? A lot of directions we could go. So, Ali, I love that ad read, but none of us should be making those decisions. The stakes are too high, man. The stakes are too high. A lot of stuff to cover today. We're going to talk about the biggest story of the week. We're going to, we're kind of ODing on, on drafts. We're going to do just a little micro, a little micro draft, nothing like the master's draft that we, that we did a couple of weeks ago that everybody seemed to really like. Do a little micro draft looking at this week. I got a little quiz I put together for everybody. I got word. We got white smoke. We got a new fedora five for the first time in a couple of weeks. That's Lord. That's very exciting. And then we got just to catch all notebook. We kind of debuted a little bit of a going down the notebook yesterday. We got some more stuff that we're going to circle back, but solid. I want to, I want to start with you. What's, you know, you're on site. You're, it looks like you're in the champions locker room in, in there. What's, what's going on? Anything you can report for the early tipsters here? I had a more eventful Sunday than I did Monday. I shared some of this kind of deeper into the show last night, but the Intel on the ground, 11, 14 and 16 are new surface greens, potentially applying a little bit firmer than they have in, in, in prior years. This is a pretty normal thing to have a few new green surfaces every year, but 16 was the one I heard the most feedback on that being potentially a little bit, a little bit different. But again, you kind of hear something different from everyone you talk to. I thought, oh, I thought this slope was different. It's like, yeah, I didn't see that. And I think people kind of get in their own heads, estimating some of these things. But I, I said this last night as well, but I was convinced that there's even less trees on left of 10. I did a little Zabruder film examination from like the views from on camera last year in 2025. And I was counting like eight trees just left of the team. I went back out there and now I'm only counting five. So I don't think I'm imagining this. Again, I'm kind of trying to piece together info. You can't really take a phone up there and compare it up there. But it looks even more bare and left of 10. And we talked about this a little last night, but you should ask Gary player about it. I know he's devastated about that. It does, it just doesn't look like you need to hit that big hook around the trees there. And as you think about it, it's like, well, as soon as those trees fell last year, Rory finally gets his first masters after famously hitting the tree back there in 2011. Makes you think I'm worried, Randy, about the Azaleas now they're starting to see some pedals on the ground. It's going to be warmer here as the week goes on. It was nice and cool out there today, but it might have just peaked a little bit too early. You know, if it's a little too early, I'm worried about the Azaleas as well. So yeah, the peak was, I think the peak was about five or six days ago. So I hate that. I feel like we've had a couple of people in the chat asking about like, is TC in a cabin behind the 13th green? Like where is it? I think there's all compliments to the franchise back there. TC, I've just, that's more of saving you from, you know, any kind of on the ground, Azalea reporting. This is actually same state. He's in Atlanta. He's in Atlanta. He's got some white Azaleas. The dogwoods are popping in the background, but the things you see back there are actually Japanese maples, which I know Randy is very fond of those, but he's got, he's got Japanese maples galore back here. So anyway, it looks wonderful. Again, I'm into this stuff, not the birds, but I'm into that stuff. Yeah. How many did you block anybody on Instagram today for sending birds? Only had one guy bird me up and I don't think he actually heard the show last night. So I didn't have the heart to block him. So I'm gonna block him. Sorry. A question about the trees on 10. Were they, do you think they were taken out because of the storms or is this a strategic move by? I don't think it would be strategic because I do think it just looks a little barren. I'm usually in favor of tree removal, but I feel like those trees served a very specific purpose. You know, and I guess at the last night, but like Michael Brennan just like teed it up and Ollie bread gave him the number to a tree through the fairways. Exactly 350 aim it right that one driver won't reach that one. It almost did. But he, you know, just sent it on that line didn't have to draw it at all. And that just feels, that just feels very different than, and so I would be curious to flag. It's going to play a little different. I'd be curious if they ever move that to you a little bit farther left because of kind of what, what either what they've lost or maybe some of the trees weren't healthy. I also could be imagining this. I really, I really could. But as Cody is doing, be dirty here on the bottom scroll here, but it won't drastically affect the tournament. But everybody I talked to said, notice no changes on the front. Heard a rumor of maybe there's a new tree on two. I couldn't find it when I went out there, but I walked the whole course today. And, and, and yeah, not, not a ton to be gleaned so far early in the week. That's why we have Wednesday show. We'll learn a lot more between now and Wednesday as well. Are we doing who will not win today? Or is that a Wednesday? I think that's a Wednesday thing. You can, you can ease into that. You're welcome to go on the record today if you like, but that's going to be an official declaration until Wednesday. Okay. I just wanted to get that out there. So we had any controversy later on in the show. I appreciate that. Well, let's get into it. We kind of started on the hyper nitty gritty there. We'll zoom out a little bit. I think a little bit of a weird one coming into the masters this year, just with the last four years, I feel like we've had pretty damn clear storylines as far as what was going on 2022. We had Scotty had won three times, I believe before, before that masters, he looked like he was about to ascend. He did 2023. We had John Rom. He looked like he had won three times. He was about to ascend. He did Scotty again in 2024 was a clear cut favorite. And Rory last year coming in was, was heavily picked on this year podcast to be that same person this year. Not really the same story. We've got Scotty's in a bit of a weird spot. Rory's been quiet with some injuries. Colin Morkow has had injuries going on. We've had Akshay playing gray. Chris Goddard of Jacob Bridgeman came young when the player, it's a little bit kind of all over the place and a little bit open. So I want to start with just, you know, people show up to their masters viewing parties, whatever you have on Thursday. What, what is, saw that start with you? What's, what's the biggest story of the week? What do you got? Oh, it's Pete for sure. Everybody on the ground is talking about speed. It's all, I mean, it was, even though all these prior years, the story has always been speed coming into this week. No, it is, um, you know, we've all wanted a lot of us have wanted Rory to win, win a masters for the first time, but now in this world post Rory winning one, it is kind of like a, huh, what is the big, what is the biggest story? I kind of, I missed having that to chase every, you know, every Thursday was always the, how did Rory screw it up this time on the front nine at Augusta? We won't really have that this year. The story is a boring one of how wide open it is. I do think I have, you know, I don't want to go down the leaderboard or all the storylines, but I'm still really, really curious on Scotty. We are in a very, who knows how long this window is open. It hasn't been his best play in recent, recent weeks and months, but how long is this period of greatness going to last? And he has, there's a lot of guys that have won two masters, a pretty long list actually, and as you get through. But if I had to ask you guys, how many, how many people have won three masters or more? I was going to say six. I would say five. There's been eight actually, but only, only the three guys have gotten to four as well. So is, is does Scotty have like, is he going to get to that fill level, that Fowdo level, that kind of, you know, very repeatable or the names that just kind of roll off your tongue of masters champions, Jack, Tiger, Arnie, Jimmy DeMarratt, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Fowdo and Mickelson are the golfers with, with three or more. That's still like kind of my number one thing. I'm going to be like the most curious. If you, if you locked me up and said, you can't check anything until 4pm Thursday, like the first thing I would go check is Scotty's score. Yeah. Cause he's chasing history now. You know, so it immediately, immediately makes him more interesting than he was two years ago or, and also like, you kind of made, what if he stinks now? I mean, he's played like, you know, it's unbecoming stuff the last two months. What if he stinks, Deige? Great stat. He's now been three starts without a top 10. This is his longest stretch in almost four years without a top 10 is three starts. What? This could be a rare chance for the beluga to be really early on this one. If you want to call it now, just say it's over. I think people, I mean, imagine you could, you could die now on that for the rest of your life. He called that right now. I think pro golf critic called it in 2024. He won like 14 of the next 30 tournaments, but I think he was earlier in calling it a layoff pro golf critic. Duke lost last week. Uh, Randy, I'll go to you next. What do you, what do you got? Top story. We've got Scotty and we've got the wide openness already off the board. So apparently had a lot of water. I'm very caffeinated guys. Yeah. I honestly, I saw these fishing in the same ponds. Let me throw this out first time in quite a long time. No filled, no tiger at the master's tournament. I think that's worthy of a mention. Those guys, uh, have obviously been stalwarts here. And I think too, they represent that generation, uh, the, the, the greatness of the generation that is now has aged into their fifties and, um, you know, no, no offense to VJ and, and some of the other guys that would fit in that generation, but tiger and fill man, that's, that's been it for the last 30 years. And so without them, I think it underscores the wide open nature of this year's masters. And I think it, it also, for me underscores a little bit of, you know, Rory and Scotty and Kepka. And I wish Jordan Spieth, but like these guys who are the it guys, right? That, that are going to be kind of the next elder statesmen. And so the only thing I'll add here, I was researching masters winners and I found a bit of a peculiar stat, I guess, but you know, going back to tiger and 97 for guys that have won the masters for their first major and then have gone on to win other majors. It's, it's a very short list. It's tiger, it's Phil. Uh, you know, you could count Bubba Watson winning just the two masters. Zach Johnson won the masters and then won the open championship. Uh, but then you get up to Spieth and Sheffler as guys that won the masters for their first major and then went on to win, uh, other majors. And so I guess I say that looking at a Ludwig looking at a Cam Young looking at an Akshay, right? Like are any of those guys that dude that's going to break through at Augusta and go on to a multiple major career? I don't know. That that's part of the uncertainty for me, but I do kind of dig how open it feels this year. That's really well said. And I think we said some of that during the players preview as well is like, what, what's kind of fun about it is even in that vacuum, there's a lot of really interesting, a lot of guys I find really captivating that I mean, Ludwig is kind of the headliner of, of that group, but there, there's just a lot of people that I'm, I would be excited to see take the next step. So it's, it's a good year for that big. That's, that's a good call. Can I just, I hear you guys say wide open and I think the way I'm seeing it is it's more like all the horses are like, you know, kicking dirt at each other. Like, you know, like, it's not like there's no, like, oh, there's no dudes. It's just like, Oh my God, there's like, all of a sudden they're all lined up at the starting line and more so than a clarity, I think, than ever. Yeah. It's like one of those Kentucky derbies where there's like 22 horses in the starting gates instead of six to eight, you know, I think, yeah, just because of the question marks around some of the, the favorites, right? Scotty just had a kid. Xander's still coming back from injury. Rory had the back and you know, it's like, I just don't know who to feel truly confident about. And one other thing, Randy, I want to follow up on with what you just said. Would you put Scotty in that more elder statesman category? He's almost stuck between generations a little bit for me. Like, is he a young, like a younger guy? Like, where is he at in his career? You know, you kind of, you batch him with Rory and Kepka, but I'm like, man, he's, he almost feels like he's the generation 20s. That's a good call. He's not 30 yet. It looks, my guy looks like he's had some sleepless nights. No, it's just like, you have to remind yourself of that because you're saying, I'm like, yeah, I do think of him as like a veteran, but it's like he hadn't really been around that long. That's a good call. Yeah. T.C. I'll throw it to you next because I think Neil's got the first pick in our, in our upcoming draft. So what do you got? I was going to go a lot, babe. I'm going to go a different direction. I think it's the live boys. Can, can Rom and Bryson stay relevant? Cause other than Solly and Porter kind of simping for Rom the last six months or so, saying that he's, he's been doing some of the, like he just go ahead and give him a major this year because he's been one of the most, you know, like far and above better than anybody else, minus Scotty over the last year or two, ball striking wise or last three months, whatever. Total strength over the last 12 months. He's been second best in the world. Yeah. Something like that. Something like that. But no, I think Porter's newsletter, I wrote that. I saw that. It's just, I don't know. I think it's, it's all been a bit much and, and Rom hasn't even been winning on live, uh, except for once this year. So, you know, Bryson's put him in a locker twice in a row. Can Bryson get back to the, the heights that were predicted for him at Augusta National with a being a part 68. Uh, we'll see. We'll see. I think those two are, are fascinating, fascinating storylines this year though, especially host P's departure, post captain's departure. It's, I get a rom defense in at this point. I'm with you. I'll join the sim club on, on rom too. He's still an incredible golfer. Like his major results of the last two years have not been ideal, but he is still, if not the same golfer, a very similar golfer to when he left for live. I still have immense belief in his talent. He has one on this golf course before he's a better course fit for this golf course than somebody like Bryson. I, I, he's playing good golf on live. I honestly could care less if he's winning or losing. Like his game just looks like it's in solid shape enough that like I only care about his results four times a year. And just because he hasn't played well in these events the last couple of years, like by his standard, I do not think I would immediately dismiss him. I think he is, I'm not dismissing him. I'm just saying like I'm acknowledging that he's played like shittier the last two years and in most of the tournaments that actually matter the last two years, I call it out on the season preview pot. I feel like this is a massive year for John Rob. Huge. Oh, like there is a ton of pressure because he only, you know, for the wider golf world, like it feels like if there are four events that matter for him. And I got to think that's how he's judging himself against his peers and, you know, they play on the PGA tour. Yes. So I'm, I see, I had the live boys circled for me too. I got a guy's. I got a bad feeling about Bryson. Like I think he's going to, I think he's going to win it this year. That's, that's what I think. I think that's, that's, I feel that. Wow. Neil telegraphing the first pick. Interesting. Bryson. No, no, I got to get chalky because I might get him later emails. Bryson, Bryson's been incredible. I'm so with you TC. I'm like, I do think that that is you know, especially in the absence of, you know, I don't want to say in the absence of Rory, because Rory is the defending champion and obviously is like, is, you know, the most interesting draw probably still and Scotty, Scotty and all of these things, but Bryson's won twice in a row and live. Say what you say what you want about that. T degree. He's been f**king awesome over the last 12 months. Like he's, he's, you know, had a couple of years now to get a little more comfortable on this golf course. He's in the final group last year. He's playing with a chip on a shoulder. So I declared him not a dude. You know, I think that's, that's not nothing. So it's just, yeah, I think I was going to go Bryson with my, with my pick as well. So sorry, sorry to squat on both those guys, but it's all a good point. Like I think it's more about, it's more about like we have higher expectations for Ram than, than finishing T 45 and T 14 here in the last two years, you know, and I think, I think at this point in Ram's career, he's how old he's 31 years old. I would expect someone of Ram's stature to have more majors than he does. And I know they're tough to win and I know that he's going up against Scotty and Rory for some of the, like those said majors, but he's a generational dude, like you said. So let's, let's see it. Right. Yeah. I, I, I just, maybe call it a gut feel, but I just, I've been as hard on Ram over the last couple of years as anyone and think that if you're going to go leave for live, the worst result of all this is, is to like not show up in majors, but I, I've, I've, I just don't think what he's on is sustainable, like in a good way. Like I just don't, I think he's too talented to, he's proven he can play well in majors. There's no mental hurdle with that. And with it all opening up and him just being the buoy, people forget he's the buoy. A lot of people have been saying that around the grounds out here. And I, I'm, I think I'm telegraphing that I'm leaning that way of my pick this week. Wow. Wow. I know that's draft stuff. I mean, seriously, second biggest favorite. Yeah. I think it's draft stuff. Cause just, yeah, you just kind of forget about him. Yeah. Uh, Neil, what do you got? Well, I had Bryson was one, but I'm also, I'm concerned just last year was so awesome. I'm concerned that the storyline is like, can it live up to it this year? Are we in for a stinker? You know, like just a, like could, not every masters can be amazing. I hate to be the downer, but I'm, I'm concerned about that, Deej. That's on my mind. And you're asking storylines here. What, what constitutes a stinker for you? Because my, my counter question, my counter argument would be, that's a really good question. And I don't mean to paint it in this light, but when I turn on the ANWA, I'm like, I don't really, I know Astros tally. I know Anna Davis. I know, you know, a couple of these players, but like by and large, I don't really know any of these players. And I have a fucking blast watching it. And so I guess my, my only counter would be like, Augusta still is Augusta and it still tends to deliver even on the years. And that was kind of one of the fun parts of that master's draft is like, even on the years when you get a quote, unquote bad winner, it's like, yeah, but that was that year was still awesome. You know, it's, I, I don't know if I would just push on what, what would be a stinker? It's not impossible by any means, but I'm curious for a definition there. That's, that's a good question. Well, it's in the eye of the beholder. Like, of course, I think that Bryson's going to win. I think that might be unbearable for me, but I guess it would be really exciting. It's so good. It's so good. We need a counterweight, man. I think it's good drama. So I should, I should probably take that, you know, strike that from the record. I don't know. But then you go down the list. You're like, okay, no, I don't want to offend anybody here. But if you know, you got a guy like Fitzpatrick or Jacob Bridgeman, like one of these kind of guys that are playing really well, sure that that aren't super exciting. Just kind of, you know, pull a Zach Johnson is, and listen, I like Fitzpatrick, but like, would I be fired up if he wins the masters this year? No, I wouldn't be. Neil, I was just run away as feel is totally possible. And that, that would constitute a stinker. No offense to it. Let's, let's just say this though. There's a difference between a stinker and Zach Johnson winning. Like those two things are, I mean, there's stinkers and then there's a hundred miles of shit. And then there's Zach Johnson winning. Like that's how, that's how stinky that was. I just, I do want to reiterate, I do like Fitz. I just, I don't get super excited watching him play golf. That's, that's how I feel. So what do you like about him then? I liked that he's data driven. Randy, I respect him. I think, you know, he seems like, it seems like a genuinely good guy. That's what I'm trying to say. That's true. That's true. All right. Well, a lot of, a lot of stuff off the board here, but I will, I'll just kind of sprinkle a couple, a couple of little things left over in my, my notes here. I had that. I had kind of the first timers, you know, nobody's with it being quote unquote open. Nobody's, you know, one in their first master starts. It's 1979. Still we're like coming up on 50 years of that stat. That's just fucking unbelievable. And I know that the more, you know, the firmer the golf course gets, the more they try to push it right to the edge, the less likely that is of, of happening. But still there's, there's good first timers. Chris Goddard up, Bridgeman, we've mentioned, of course, Michael Brennan, I'm here and he's driving at 350 out there in the 10th hole. TC and I, you know, the fellow Brennanites are going to be amped if that happens. Well, it's not take Brennan out of the oven quite yet for the masters. I'm just, I'm just, you know, you guys kind of took, you guys took all the good ones. So I've done, I'm just saying what else is in my notes here. And then P is the other one. You know, Patrick is like big spot for P T.C. and the four five. I mean, we're going to see if the four five is a legitimate Did you see P? CP on the PGA today. Can't spell PGA without P. He looks great. Looks felt. Yeah, man. He's got a new, got a new sponsor. I'm so in. I love it. The one of him sitting down in, in this seat. It's like class picture day, but I think incredible. I think we've got a little bit of like, um, you can hear it in our voice. Like whenever Patrick Reed comes up, it's always like, ah, Patrick Reed does so fun. It's like, no, no, no, I mean, he's a legitimate threat to play really good golf this week. He's played great the last like six years at this event, live, you know, leaves live golf and goes wins like two of his first four events. It's just, it's, it's captivating stuff, man. Past champion coming back and what's he going to do? We'll see. I'm excited. I, I, I, we're winding on the Bryson stuff real quick. I still can't get last year's iron play out of my head in that, in like trying to picture him winning it. Uh, like, and, and, and like, I, I, I say that in response to Reed and like Reed has a, a, sorry, P as a distinct like course history of I play this course well and Bryson, like over, he's had T 65 last couple of years, like has a good couple of years, but his overall data would say like he plays this course worse than he plays a normal golf course. And I don't feel like he's reinvented himself in a way that can overcome a lot of some of his like shortcomings. Like I dove into the numbers a little bit. Like he has more holes that he loses strokes on compared to the field than a lot of the other top guys do on this golf course. Like you'd be surprised. Like some guys only have like one or two holes where they lose strokes to the field and Bryson has like four or five, um, to the point where I just think there's enough landmines out here that I, I, I don't know. I feel, I feel less threatened by somebody to like, like Bryson at this course in particular than someone like P who I think Bryson is a much better player than P overall. But that guy has figured out how to play this golf course. And no matter what form P is in, he does something, something top 20 is almost always in this tournament. And P is in great form. He's doing top 20 everywhere right now. Right. That's true. All of Mr. Worldwide. What? Uh, good stat. I saw, I saw it from, uh, I think it was ESPN research had this, uh, Bryson has been inside the top 10 after each of the last eight rounds of the masters. Like, like each of the last two years after every round has been in the top and around, which is where I would, I would love to meet you in a, uh, a Bryson versus a P heads up bet. If you're out on Bryson, I need a little bit of odds on that. Just a little bit of odds, but I might, I might take it. I think Bryson's going to the whole, uh, will you challenge me on the reds over type of situation? Wait, solid solid. You're saying you need odds on, on take P on Bryson side or on P side. I was on P side. I would come some odds on a little bit. Yeah. T C's. Stick your neck out. Stick your neck out. Nobody remembers what we say. Why'd she stay? That's true. I'll take P over Bryson this week. Come on. All right. I'll see you. I'll see you out there. I love that. What are people work out the fighter details? If you need, if you guys, yeah, you won't be able to, you won't be able to find me out there. You can't take your phones out there. There's no, uh, you know, you can't, you can't be sending me harassing texts. There'll be no connecting with me out there, but AT&T believes in connecting people to greater possibilities. And they do that through a network that keeps people meaningfully connected to those who matter most friends, family, and more. So the moments that matter, feel closer and clearer because it's not just about being more connected. It's about being better connected wherever life takes you. When the connection matters, it has to be AT&T to find out more head to ATT.com backsplash connect to change AT&T connecting changes everything. Not my best transition, guys, but it's Monday. I got a few days to get into form here. I thought that was really great. As we said, can't win it today, you know, but you can lose it. I thought you handled that really nicely. Uh, guys, let's get into our draft, our micro draft. Should be, here's what, here's what we're going to do. We were kind of thinking about Fedora five first, just for, uh, interesting. We need to do a little more research. Yeah. We're going to do the Fedora five after, and then you can, you know, I don't, I don't want to, you know, his large, his large land us model. So we were kind of talking, we're like, okay, well the field feels, you know, quote unquote open. We got a lot of, you know, a lot of variety, a lot of ways we could go. What's the best way to do it, you know, to kind of see where everybody truly stands. And it's like, man, we've been going to the well here, but it's, it's a draft. Who, who are you going to put your name on? Who are you going to actually, you know, try to sign to a contract here? And so we're going to do a four player draft here of who we like this week. The point here is to, uh, accrue the most aggregate dollars that you can. So you get, you get dollars for everybody that, uh, you know, that you pick whoever's got the most money at the end of the week wins. Obviously you'd like to pick the winner and somebody who's going to finish high. The winner of this draft, I came, I think they get the first pick in our next draft, whatever that's, you know, that's something I also think the other members of this here podcast have to, uh, say something nice about him. You compliment compliment. I think that's great on Sunday. The loser, I think, solid, if you're up to accommodate this, uh, has to wear one of those now driving hats on either a podcast or a video and with no explanation, you guys just, you gotta just wear it. Can we just get those out of the way real quick too? Like sure. There's a few things every year that are just so unbecoming of the masters. Like they do such a wonderful job with most everything. I'm hearing mixed reviews on this, this candy bar this year. Um, really? No good. Just chewy. It wasn't for me. I couldn't get it. R texture. Yeah. I couldn't get it down. I'd be honest and I'm a, you know, you know, I got a sweet tooth. I could not finish it. Well, this, these, there's one that's got just peach on it and it's a peach color and then the now driving one is reprehensible. Uh, and then, yeah, of course, Blackstone hat. Yeah. I don't know if this gets out to talk about the Blackstone hat as well. Yeah. Honestly, I've been searching for a Blackstone hat. They're $175. This guy on eBay has the whole market cornered on these things. It's kind of their business model, isn't it? Yeah. That tracks pretty well. It's probably one of their animals. Yeah. I'm trying, listen, I'm trying. I'm still trying to figure out how to spin this properly. I can't guys. It's bad. It's a bad hat. It's a, it's a bad company. Uh, Neil, Neil, we, they have not ruined Jersey Mike's yet. I will say that. Yeah. No, they haven't. Um, not yet. I also thought, I thought of just a note on that. I thought it was so funny how much free advertising the, the grill company got last week, which just cracks me up. It's like the biggest financial burden in like the world. And like nobody knows who they are, which just kind of sums up our times right now. You know, it's like, Oh, the griddle company. That's great. Man. It's like, no, man. No. Oh God. All right. Uh, anything else on merch? T C or more of this story as it goes? Just, just keep an eye on it. I think it's just so beneath the masters to have it started with the skippet hats. I'll, you said earlier, the skippet hats were like a gateway into just a really bad realm. Here's the problem T C. They're probably going off the sales data. People are buying them. And that's, that doesn't, yeah, I'm sure like if they sold, I'm sure if they sold, you know, for loco there, people will buy it too, but they're not doing that. I think we'll, we'll look back at like 10 years ago, pictures of the masters. Like we, like we do old photographs of nobody having phones out before we put phrases on hats. It will be a different era. Cause I think we are heading in a tough direction guys for local, for a local Azalea theme for locos. Exactly. Great. That's a little piece of the market that they have a nap up there next to two little stinky Nandina blunt or something. Yeah, exactly. Three rolls. Yeah. I'm sure those would be moving off the shelves. All right, let's get it. Let's get into our draft round one. This was the draft order was declared by an official duck race. I certified the results myself, sent them to the library of Congress. Our first pick is going to be Neil followed by Randy. How can you hate it? That's outrageous. Followed by Randy, followed by Tron, followed by myself, followed by Solly on the snake. Producers out to get Solly here. It appears for sure. Eternal battle, me versus the producers. Again, four players. Let's keep it moving. Neil, you've had some time to think about this, you know, lottery pick. Where do you get to go with? Yeah, we're going to shock. I'm taking Sheffler. Let's get it out of the way. The reason I don't like the first pick is because it's no fun. There's, there is an answer here. There's a right answer. It's Sheffler. He's, I'm just looking on data golf. He's exempted in the masters for in nine categories, category one, two, three, five, six, seven, eight, 10 and 11. Just, you know, that's enough evidence of like, yeah, let's take this guy. If we're going off a total purse as well, I feel like he's got a high floor. I'm taking Scotty. Wow. Big giraffe take there, Neil. Yeah. I was surprised I didn't follow the fifth pick. ESPN research, another stat here. He's 111 under par at the majors since 2020, which is 45 strokes better than second place. That's how good he's been at the majors. It's, it's a true joke. And I think it puts Randy in a very interesting position, by the way, because Randy with that second pick, having to really take the live guys seriously, Rory, what that is a lot of stuff that is, I don't got to do any of that. You don't get fired higher in IBM, you know, like I got to take Sheffler. I just, I think you're going to like the way you look there, Neil. That's, that's yeah, enough said. Randy, where you going with the second pick? Uh, yeah. Like you said, don't love the options on the board. What? The options on the board. Yeah. Don't like anybody. That's kind of my, that's kind of my big issue. Um, it's got the entire field minus Sheffler. He doesn't like the options. I didn't have to take his guy, call it after you just said he's still a game time decision. I'm going to take, uh, I'm going to take a guy who, I think his floor is a, is a comfy top 10. We don't have to sweat it. We're going to take Xander Shoffley. I actually think he could win this week. Uh, I think he's a little under the radar has been, uh, starting in 20, well actually going back to 2019, he's got a T two, T 17, T three, missed a cut T 10, eight and tied for eight. So I just think Xander is going to be there. I don't love rooting for him, but if we're playing to win, give me, give me the X. All right. Well, I think, uh, God, I gotta think the, the, the, you know, people on Tron Twitter right now are just going nuts. I can't believe he fell to us. This is the, what a dream situation was, was the draft rigged. Yeah. I've already sent in the envelope. You guys know what it is. I'm going to guess we're going Ludwig Ober. We are. We are. Uh, I love it. Wow. Not Tommy, not Tommy's week. Huh. Any, any response to, uh, you know, the conversation last night, you know, is you were getting pretty hot and bothered. You kind of a live, a live posting as you were listening to the podge is firing into Slack, responding to every sentence. Just feel free to air any of that publicly if you like. Yeah. No, I mean, definitely playing poor. I think he's had two, two fifth place finishes in a second. There's last three starts. He's obviously played well here in his first two starts at Augusta. He's only 26. This is his third full season on tour. Guys are wondering why, why he can't win more, uh, which listen, I'd like to see him win more too. I think it's, I think it's, I think it's coming and, uh, but the, the, the big tone, uh, comparisons are, are frankly disgusting. Big tone didn't win at all until he was like 31 and just like, uh, like Randy, you're better than that. I'll just say that you're better than that. We'll leave it there. As I said on Slack, I thought Ludwig was better than this. So I think we were both feeling hurt. Okay. We're just asking for a consistent application here. You rode Fina for not winning and then he, it being close to winning and not getting it done frequently. Ludwig is, is close to winning and not getting it done on Sundays. Like we've seen it a fair amount. I just want, no, no, no. Like this is how it feels. Tony didn't win it all. Tony didn't win at all other than like the Puerto Rico open six times. Anyone, anyone that over there trust you still, and then he won six times when he was like 31 or 32 years old. So let's, let's just be consistent with that application. We're comparing the situation of all the things, all the things that we're ignoring all, you're throwing all the context away. It's absurd. Okay. My pick. He's not a decade into his career. I just want to be clear though. TC just took the 10th, 17th ranked golfer third overall. Yeah. There are a lot of names on that board. TC four or five, the six, six on the odds maker. Right now, which point, I mean, I, I think, you know, the word simp comes to mind here, but also just playing defense against solid, like John Rom, biggest no brainer ever at plus nine 50. I think it puts solid a hilarious spot. I really enjoy that. I like John Rom. I helped John Rom wins the masters. I'm, I'm, I'm written for him and yeah, massive no brainer. I, if you're going to let Rory fall to me at five, I'll take it. You know, yeah, pretty big, pretty big, you know, still fourth favorite on the board as it stands there right now. I'm not going to let that one slip by me. And I feel like we have not talked enough about this guy leading up to this and as much as we were talking about him just a few weeks ago and flagging him as a guy for Augusta and he's been a completely different player. I am going a little bit farther down the board and I'm going to take Cameron young with my first pick on the way back on the sneak. So of course, Rory and young at that little five, six spot. I knew as soon as Xander came off the board, I was going to get two guys I really liked there. So I really appreciate that guys. Thank you. Oh man. Yeah. That's, that's great. I mean, I'm obviously going to take Bryson. I can't believe he's still, still here. Seventh pick. That's got a win. I know that's not really what I want to be rooting for, but I think it is incredibly high floor. I love it. A lot of volatility there. I'm not, I'm not picking up what you guys are putting down with Bryson. There's something about the short game, the decision making. I'm not convinced. Is there, I mean, less volatility here than there used to be though. You know, I mean, T 65 in his last two starts, he's coming off two victories and he's like nobody's possibly ever been feeling themselves more than Bryson is right now. Bryson, for sure. He seemed willing his way into that champions dinner though. Totally. Like I'm here to stay guys. Yeah. So I, I don't know my true pick to win. I think it's still on the board and I'm hoping he's going to keep falling, but the floor is I got to take Bryson. Okay. TC. Yeah. I'm going to go a little bit off the board here and, but I got to do it. I think he's, I was looking at his run up. Got to do it to him into the masters last year and it's a better run up this year. Play well at the players. The great man team rose. Oh, I forgot. The great man team rose. I'm putting my money where my mouth is. Nothing, nothing, even a Ludwig victory, nothing would make me happier than seeing the great man get it over the line. I just, it would be, I mean, if there's a guy that deserves to be in that champions dinner, it's, it's the great man team rose. Got to have you do a Sunday roast for the if this, this that surprised me since 1983. This is an obvious answer given who was just taken, who has the most runner up finishes at Augusta. A great man. The great man team rose tied with Tom Kite, Greg Norman and Ray Floyd are the guys with the most runner up finishes. And how three, three, all they have three runner ups. Yeah. And rose, you know, what, he could do it on the 30th anniversary of the great man, Nick Faldos, six back in 96 that he's been celebrating all day over on the gram. Yeah, it would be delectable. Thank you. And at some point we will desperately need you to check the private chat here in stream yard as well along those lines, but thank you, TC. It's got some ambient audio going on. Yeah. Man, I love that. I'm a little worried. TC might be just buying at the absolute peak of the market on that one, a bit of a Randy Collins situation, but I am with you that how much I would love to see that big your pick coming off of Xander in the first round. I hate your team. I really that's such a hater. I that's, um, especially for guys, you hate your team. We're talking about a guy that you don't even like your team or you don't even like your team. What about his game is fun? Let's see. So many different directions we can go here. I'm gonna, I'm gonna take, I'm hoping, I have a guy in mind, but I'm hoping he's going to be there. Somebody with a guy I think played really well. I mean, I don't think he has played really well. He's made the cut in 10 of his 11 masters. A lot of experience here. I'm going with Fitzpatrick. Give me Maddie Fitz. Exciting, exciting team you're building there big. He loves them off the course. I do. I do. I think he's a genuinely good dude. But yeah, I'm not that just not, you know, not for me this week. Thanks. Yeah. I don't know if I love the culture. You're, you're billed over there. Oh, so I'm saying, am I snaking back the other way? You are. Oh man. Good stuff. I guys, I'm going to reach big time here and I'm going to take, You know what? I'm going to take P. Give me P. Badore five member. I just got done hearing about how, how good he plays the course. One of the hottest players in the world right now. Maybe the hottest player that we're about to find out. Oh, Ryan Gerard's in the field too. We will be, we'll be fun to root for it. And then I'm going to take Oxshade. Hmm. Lefty. Yeah. Andy lefty's play well at Augusta. Right. Joe, Reiner had success here. I know I went right by big Bob, but I just feel like Oxshade's game might be a little bit, I don't know, with that Bay Hill win. I know it's not like they're not similar courses, but he's ball striking the shit out of it right now. I'm just good. I feel better about he's, he's like my top lefty. I know that the data would say that big Bob's the top lefty right now, but I'm going with Oxshade. I love it. Yeah. I like that pic. Neil, I was hoping to grab him with my third pic here. All right. You guys want to call it your pic? Give me Jordan's speed. I believe. Damn it, Randy. I believe. DJ said it best last night. I think Astrix, Tally. What's the horror movie? The ring or the phone? You know, she, something happened and now she's got the curse of number 12. It's been lifted from Jordan's speed. I think we see him totally freed up. And what a story it'd be if he could win the Masters 10 years after his epic collapse. I got some, I got some good stuff on, on speed that we're going to get to in a little bit here. Big love, love this pic inspired stuff. I think you got to, like you got a real leader. You got a franchise quarterback on the team now, which is good. TC, that's, that's got to just blow up your whole board, man. Yeah. I was really, oh man, Oxshade and speed with the two guys like next up on my, on my big board. And then P went before them too. You know what? Give me, give me Bob. Nobody wants him. Give me Bob. I'll take that one. TC, this is damning. This is damning. I can't believe you're not picking Tommy. Yeah. This is damning. It's nice. It's like the fifth, sixth favorite or, this is damning. I just, I don't think you guys are going to pick him. I think I can get him coming back around. I'll take Tommy Fleetwood. I feel like I'm on auto draft here. There's just such, you know, my shareholders got revolt. If I'm not, if I'm not taking these guys that are available to me right now, I have so many shares in Tommy. Like I'm, it's like the private credit market. Yeah. Like I have to, I have to diversify a little bit here. I think with Tommy, I've already got him winning both the US open and the, and the open championship this year. So I can't go in anymore. Yeah. Well, I will take him if you're going to, if you're going to give him to me, which I think, yeah, what do I have? John, Ron Bryson and Tommy Fleetwood. That's, that's God like our chances. That's a good team. Uh, solely, It's going to be so uncompetitive. I am going to take a Hideki Matsuyama, past master's champion and I'm not going to overthink that one. And another one on the snake. I have, I was teasing this one. You know, yeah, he's not played really great in the lead up here, but was just flagged this one talking about don't forget about him. I want to have forgot about him. Brooks Kepka. I'm the take him there. And I feel, I feel, feel solid about my team. Rory, Cam, young, Hideki and Brooks Kepka. I feel like I got a winner in that group. Yeah. It's very solid. Uh, okay. My last pick here. I'm going to give a long, hard look at Min Woo Lee. We've said a lot of nice things about the way he's been playing. Alan more. Cow. Oh God. That's a value pick possibly. Um, uncertainty there though. You know what? I'm going way, way, way off the board with my last pick here. Uh, just cause I feel like I've been so on auto draft. I'm going to really inject a little bit of my own, my own flavor into this thing. I think there's a val, I think there's value to be had on a guy that has not played since the players didn't see him at all in Texas play, obviously played great in Florida. It's played nice here in the past elite iron player. Give me Daniel burger on my team to round it out. Uh, just in a, in a surprise seems like he's going to contend here at some point. Not a great chipper, but you know, it's interesting. Yeah. That's all right. Let's, let's see how it goes. Let's see how it goes. It seemed to work out at Bay Hill, which was firm as fuck as well. TC. I am going to go with Chris Goderup. I know he's a rookie. I just think I think he's a dog and I think this place suits him and it sounds like it's going to be firm and crispy and the forecast might look too good. And I think overall, I don't know, Goderup, I just, I like his traits, loud traits. I think he has all the tools. It's got the makeup TC. I like it. I like it. I think he's got the minerals too. Good to know. Who we got? Randy and the Neil. Yeah. Um, God, I don't even know if I need a fourth guy, but I guess I'll take it. It's thinking about throwing it heavy. I'm thinking about throwing an amateur in there. Yeah. You should take Mickelson. Just as a show of support. Yeah. Yeah. Let's see. I'm trying to think who are the big names that have not been taken. I mean, Vic Hovland. Can you imagine sitting here a couple of years ago and nobody taking Vic in the first three and a half rounds or Colin? Colin. Yeah. Collins is more injury related, I think. Russ Bentley on the board. You know, Neil wants to take Rosette. I kind of, I have a great, great track record here, but I'm definitely I have. You know why ready's not going to take more cow? This will be buying low coming up. There's no way to stop. There's a potential value. No, thanks. I'm going to go with the guy that I'm just curious about. And I don't know if he's going to play well, but I'm going to take Jake now. Oh, hell yeah. Took him right out from under me. Yeah. I like it. Second Masters, I think for him. Second start. A really good statistical start to 2026 season. We'll see how it translates or not this week. Yes. Scoring average leader on tour. I mean, could be a Fedora five nominee that not winning, but he's playing. I ain't good. So Neil's Neil's got it open here. We got a lot of names out there. Me, I mentioned Colin, Russ Henley, Hovland, Shane Lowry hasn't. True. Another round. All kinds of boy guards out there on the board still. Yeah. And E round. You know what? I'm going to take I love Russ. I'm taking Russ Henley. I would love to have him on my squad. That's just that feels like a no brainer. Like, that's not overthink this. Get chalky with it. You guys want to do one more round? Whoa, that changes the models. I would love to do one more. We're just kind of getting into the valley. It's getting interesting. He's on the board. Have we even said his name? No, no, we haven't. Let's do one. Let's do one more round. Neil, what do you got? You're on the clock. Yeah, I'll take JT because I was thinking about JT before the pod. I forgot about him. Ready? Give it to me. All right. Because I don't think there's a lot of chatter around JT as there usually is coming into Augusta, like, oh, is he going to get it done? I feel like he could be a sleeper pick here. We have a super weird record here. Super stinky record here. Yeah, I know. But I think a lot of that's him putting a ton of like him. There being a ton of pressure on him going into masters. We set like weirdly similar to Rory. Like, when's JT going to get it done here? He's a ball striker. Like, why? Why? He should he seems like a course fit. He just like freaks out and doesn't play well. He's always at the Delta counter. T 36, miscut, miscut T8, T21. And his last five stars. I'll fake him. Streak starts now, baby. All right. I love it. Randy, I mean, you didn't need a fourth player, let alone a fifth, but no, let's see what you can do. Two of this. Let me take. Who would I enjoy rooting for? Let's go with my guy, Mav McNeely. Love it. Take Maverick. Love it. I was I was probably on TC's short list, I'm guessing. Yeah, he was. You know what? I'm going way down the board. Give me the flashy wide boy, Marco, Penge. That's great. This is the first place suits. Oh, yeah. Mega first masters. No one's ever played more in their first. I was going to take Mav, but Randy's still about to lunder me. All right. That leaves me. I think I know who I want to take. Corey Connors is still on the board. He's good for like an uncompetitive T11. He's definitely good for some money value. Let me take it. Give me Min Woo Lee. Why not? Why not? You know, I'm into a redemption story. He's playing real golf these days. I love it. I think it's going to continue. I'm going to take John Maxwell, Homa. Wow. Hell yeah. T3 T12 the last couple of years. I don't see forgot he's in the field, but I forgot he got in through the T12 finish last year, plays this golf course really well. And I I'm feeling my boy Max this week. Did you see him out there today? Have not seen him yet. Max has the subtle dog in him. Sorry. Currently 116 on the data golf in 163 in the official World Golf ranking. Thank you. Thank you, Neil, for one more time. Did you see what he got in him? He's got the subtle dog in him. The subtle dog logo calling our name just in time for Azalea season. Robax Azalea collection is here. Fresh Prince clean colors. Just enough spring energy to make you think this is finally your year. The classic Azalea print plus new designs to fit whatever you need. You know how much we love row back layering. I am layering some row back right here. A lot of subtle dogs out there on site. If I may say they just introduced a new Highlands hoodie. No drawstrings. It's got great stretch, really smooth feel, lightweight, but warm for those early tea times. I was saving that one for non practice round day because I that is one of my favorite pieces I have. It's a true golf hoodie. I'm absolutely here for it. They also recently dropped a lightweight vest, the Brookline vest. It's got great stretch, two pockets, really good for the first couple of holes. Then you kind of throw it in your golf bag from there. It rolls up very, very, very small. Perfect weight for spring ball, spring golf. If you're building the 2026 rotation, Robax got you covered. Robac.com, RHO, BACK.com use code NLU for 20% off your first order through the end of the week. RHO, BACK.com code NLU. Thank you to Robac. Anyone else? We got, we got five rounds. We got 25 players covered. Anyone else that, you know, we feel like we need an obligatory shout out on here. I was just looking who would be like the biggest snub here. Rich and Lourie. Like Cantlay and Lourie kind of stick out. Victor Hovland. JJ Spahn. You know, he's... World number five I learned. Yeah. I mean, you got, but the numbers would say that's a little snubby. Right a couple of times. JJ Spahn's five in the world. Sepsiraca. Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. Not, not even a mention of Cam Smith. I mean, which I don't think he deserved to be mentioned at this point, but it's going to be a really firm, fast masters. What it sounds like, very dry. And that's what he normally thrives in, but you can't even put him in consideration. It's done in his form last year and a half. Siebel Cam I wanted to take. Had a great start to the year. He's cooled off a little bit. I've never finished in the top 10 here and a bunch of starts. So he, he was dropped from my big board, but this counts as me mentioning him. What about the sneaky lefty Matt McCarty? Oh, T 14 here last year. Uh, not in great form right now, but I think this place suits into a T. Loves to make birdies. Makes him sneaky, Randy. Wow. Just thought he had a sneaky good result last year. Andy's left handed. He's also a lefty. Yeah. His favorite. Makes a ton of birdies too. Uh, Adam Scott also, he really double clicked on him at all. Yeah. I had him on my list. He's the fourth, fourth and approach this year, like striking the shit out of the ball. It hasn't had a top 20 here though, since like 2019. Like he hasn't, hasn't really put it together at Augusta, but it's, it's playing really good. Uh, Corey Connors, we mentioned, uh, did not, uh, did not get picked, but top 10 in four of the last six masters. That's fucking crazy. Uh, that that keeps happening, but Jason Day, Jason Day, uh, you know, he'll have to rise above this whole kerfuffle going on. You want to, you want to weigh in there, offer some support? Yeah. Yeah. You were talking about this last time. I think it stinks. And I think at a place that, that celebrates the local flora, there's a guy that's trying to celebrate the local fauna in a really classy, tasteful way. And they won't let him. And I think, like truly, I think this sucks. I think it's bullshit. Cause I think this stuff that they, that, that he was trying to wear is really tasteful and it's, it's a cool capsule. So DG, I stand in solidarity with you from your take last night. I might be rooting for Jason Day now, just because of this, just to, to, to, if you can overcome some of this adversity of not being able to wear these pants. It doesn't help that he's a second strike for him at Augusta with, with Malpin, uh, them trying to push the envelope. I'm sure. Yeah. But the last one was gaudy. This one's, this one's sick. Oh, are you, are you not standing in, in solidarity with your, your Audubon society brought it? Absolutely not. I'm gonna give it up on the birds. Everybody's ruined bird. You guys have ruined birds for me. Actually, I'm just sticking, just sticking with trees now. He turned his back on the whole community last night. It was pretty troubling, troubling scene on the pod last night. Uh, I think we haven't just taught, as we're talking about guys and then we're getting ready to move on, but just one thing we probably don't like talk about enough and is how much, uh, it, and past masters, and this was in the data golf newsletter as well, but like how much around the green makes a determination of, of who wins this thing. And that skill, especially who is good at playing, uh, shots from around the green from short grass, how that has rung extremely true. You think of, you know, Rory's chip in on two for Eagle last year and, and how past champions are gaining about, uh, since, since 2021 are gaining five and a half shots around the greens. And that's more than two shots around the greens anywhere other than the US open, which was a close second in that one, but it's massive. It deemphasizes putting like putting has been deemphasized at Augusta. And it's way more important, uh, how you handle shots from around the greens and where you're missing them is, is a stat that, you know, we'll have more on that on Wednesday, kind of with some whole insights as to, you know, where locations are good to hit it for certain pins and where the, uh, where the data is kind of sending guys, but that's just something I don't think we have. I've, I've ever really fully led with of like, dude, you got to chip it really, really good at Augusta. Well, it's, yeah, you're kind of hinting at this too, but it's a chipping stat, but it's also an iron play stat, right? Where it's the, the, you know, the guys who have the best chipping numbers are usually the guys who are leaving it in the best spots as well, because they all kind of count the same, uh, you know, theoretically they kind of even out over a week, but it's like, there's some, some spots where you can cost yourself capital S shots, uh, by missing in the wrong spots and that, that lead to doubles and, uh, things like that. So yeah, it's, you got a little look at, uh, some, some data today. Oh, you're just kind of in the data, the data lake. I went to the center of the center of the light dice would scuba diving in the data lake and it was in the tributary to, uh, the data lake. Uh, and it's, it's, it really is mind boggling, but another thing that, you know, it especially sticks out after, uh, after playing it, go ahead and putt face if you want, but how, how like, I don't think I fully noticed and appreciated the greens at Augusta and how they're shaped into like, I don't know what the shape would be. I'm almost like fidget spinners. Like there's different little quadrants of the greens and how the fringes cut into them and the fringes are on down slopes and there's two edges to them. Like the, there's the fringe and obviously the second cut or whatever it is and how it is requiring a certain shot from around the greens that if you are landing it anywhere near either of those collars, one, the shoot forward is really dangerous like anywhere else, but it's also on down slopes and it's really uncertain to bump balls into, uh, if you're bumping balls, you're bumping it into an upslope and trying to get it to trickle onto a downslope onto the greens. And if you're carrying it onto the green, you've got to have enough spin, usually with the green moving away from you to be able to hold on those lips. They're really, really challenging shots and a lot of the shots, uh, the game, the name of the game is avoiding putting yourself in those really bad spots, the next one is getting them inside six feet, which is more challenging at Augusta than it is most places. And guys will end up in that eight foot range, end up with those 50, 50 putts that like end up, uh, you know, couldn't make or break you, but the, the, the name of the game is just getting, getting it close where you don't have those eight footers that are usually very difficult at Augusta. Yeah. Uh, oh, we've kind of gone pretty far down the odds sheet here. I guess just to sort of reiterate, these are, uh, I'm pulling these from, from Fandall here, but Scotty is the clear favorite plus 500 followed by John Rom plus nine 50 Bryson is next at plus 1200 Rory is after that plus 1500 ma Zander plus 1500 as well. Matt Fitzpatrick plus 1800 Ludwig Oberg plus 1800 Cam, young plus 2000 value. Uh, my pick Tommy Fleetwood plus 2000 love, love where we're at there followed by Hideki, the great man team Rose and, uh, Bobby Mack, uh, just, just reading those into the record, but going down the field list a little bit. I, I, I always love this. One of my favorite parts of the masters, so many different ways to qualify. So I wanted to put together a little quiz. I didn't tell you guys what this was cause otherwise you would have looked them all up. I'm just going to read some people off. You tell me how and why they're in the masters this year. Okay. Uh, Carlos Ortiz national open of some sort. It's not number one on, well, sort of, but not the, or finish of, uh, number one on live without, uh, already being qualified. That's us. The walking nemen giveaway. No special invites this year. It wasn't national open TC finished like top three at a national open. The first guy that wasn't finished. Otherwise top four at the U S national open, uh, last year at Oak. That's right. Which, which got him in, uh, this year, uh, Christopher right. Tan. Top 50. Oh, WGR top 50. That shocked me. Did not realize he was that high up, uh, at the end of, uh, end of 2025, uh, Davis Riley playing some bad, bad golf right now. No offense to anybody. But it's not going well for Davis Riley. Did he win last year? He did not win last year. It was not top 12 last year. I mentioned this. I forget when I, when I said this, we were doing a little Davis Riley drive by, uh, runner up to Scotty at the US junior sponsor exception. Wait, what the fuck are you talking about? That's the stat I brought up for in the players. He was runner up to Scotty. That was like 20 years ago. I was a joke. Oh, PGA. He was top four. PGA. That's right. Top four at the PGA. Right. Uh, yeah. Good stuff. Uh, Matteo Puccini, the amateur, Latin American, American champion. The great man. How long Lee open the open. Yeah. He was top four at the open. I totally forgot about that. Uh, all right, we're getting the TCs quarter here. Tom McKibbin. I was wondering this one. Uh, I think that's that. No, national open. Yeah. He won the Spanish open. He won the Hong Kong open. Hong Kong. Not really a national open. It's more of a territorial open. Yeah. We don't have any way to do that one. Uh, Casey Jarvis. South Africa. One of the South African South African open. All the, all the, all the, all the African, one Africa, the door of five South African opened. Uh, Kurt Kediama. Oh man. Oh, how you won 3M? One 3M. Very good. Good stuff. Uh, the great man, the hard rocker, Harry Hall. Top 50. Top, FedEx Cup. Top 30. Tour championship. Okay. So maybe he might have been top 50 as well, but tour championship was lifted, listed. Uh, finally, Ethan Fang, runner up us. No, let's see. No runner. Oh, the AM won the AM. He won the AM, the amateur over the, across the pond. Uh, yeah, I don't know. I just always love the exemption categories and, uh, you know, who got in, why and when and how and all that stuff. But, uh, let's get to, uh, let's get to the main event here. Should we TC the fedora five? I believe we've got it. We've got a new one in. I don't know the last time we did one of these. It's been a while, right? Yeah. Last time we do it was March 12th. We had P Ludwig, Rick Castillo, Jackson, Coyman, Sahith. Uh, I feel like we're going to have some turnover. Yeah. I, God, I hope with you. And again, this was supposed to be a predictive index, wasn't it? It is. I mean, well, a lot of them are hallucinating in March. A lot, a lot of them played pretty freaking well. Um, I think the, we thought about doing one last week, uh, Michael Kim's been trying to talk his way into this thing. He says it's, it's one of his goals for the years to make the fedora five. Uh, he, he, he is on the watch list after his, he had a great weekend. Uh, but number five right now is Ludwig. Uh, I think that's, it's only fair to include him. He's playing great golf, Randy. We, you know, if he wins this week, he moves up to one. Uh, but he's not there yet. He four, we have a tie between the Fitzpatrick brothers and Jackson Coyburn. Jackson Coyburn, one, one yet another collegiate event, not a very strong strength of field, the Mason root off of the Tational's better than losing. You know, it is, it is. Uh, but if it's Patrick brothers after the Valspar and DL, I think winning a DLF automatically gets you on there. Uh, winning a shadow Greek. You know that? Oh, PGA, uh, Bryson is number three. Okay. Um, you know, just for a variety of things, both on and off the course, Bryson is number three. Cam young is number two at the moment. Um, we'll see if that form carries over, but I have, I have high hopes for him. And then number one P it's going to take so much to, to unseat P, especially as we haven't had a major yet, uh, but it could happen this week. So we'll see what happens. We might even get a mid week for door five. It's graphics. Great five, four, four. And there's two people fits brothers. I mean, a lot on the table for, for those that are playing in the masters this week, uh, which is not everybody, but, uh, you know, Jackson, Coimbaton, Alex, Fitzpatrick, we'll see what, what he, uh, what they have going on. Coimbaton's got it in the house. He's just going to be rude. Yeah. Yeah. That won't be held against him. D. It's that you see Darvis can, can, can definitely earn his way back on. If any of these guys play really poorly. He could bump back in. Well, I mean, Scotty, if Scotty wins, I gotta think we're getting a look. Scotty, I don't know. Has he hasn't been mentioned yet. I don't think I'm the five. I'm not even sure if a win would get him back in five. I think no, Scotty was, Scotty was, Scotty was T four as of February 15th. So that was after what? Phoenix or something or pebble probably. Correct. Yeah. Uh, well, thank you, TC. That's, that's good stuff. Oh, is Randy, is that impacts, uh, how you would have, you would have gone. I mean, you have Fitzpatrick. So you did take this. Got to make you feel pretty good. It's a little bit of validating. Yeah. I do feel better. I'm thrilled to have P. Uh, all right. Well, rounding things out, I just, you know, a couple of things in the, in the notebook and, and please, if you guys got stuff, uh, in your notebooks, you need to, you need to get out there. You, you just shout them out. First thing I'm going to do is, uh, we're just going to have a little fun with numbers here. Okay. Um, everybody likes to. Everybody likes to, I feel like I see more and more of this all the time now. Jason Sobel always used to do this, which always, always gave me a chuckle, you know, taking all the trends for the masters, like, what's the average age? What's the, you know, yada, yada, yada. And it's like, Oh, well, according to the data, you know, this is who's going to win. Right. So I'm going to just pull back the curtain on my own proprietary models here. And I'm going to, I'm going to throw some numbers at you guys. All right. Uh, looking at all the past champions of the masters, 70% of the winners roughly have come from the U S. So let's just start there. A lot of American winners average age. Everybody always knows this. You guys know the average age of the masters. Winner hasn't changed 32, 32, right? Usually, uh, this is a, I believe this was a syllable thing. Usually they're right about six feet, six feet tall. That's like a good, just kind of indicator. Of course elite iron players. We know that. Uh, I like this one. I found, uh, the average about a year and a half of college time. It's interesting. File that away. John, this is setting up for John Rom. All they're looking, he's not American, but yes. If you're looking at a, uh, at a state level, you know, for, if we're saying, okay, it's 70% chance is going to be an American. What, what state are they going to come from? Who's produced the most masters winners? You guys know what state that is. Texas. Texas. Texas is exactly right. Uh, a couple of other stats. This was, I, I think the most masters wins or the most winners, both, I believe. Oh, yeah. Interesting. Uh, sad. I think this one was from Will Gray. Uh, love this stat. The last seven masters champs have each boasted an under par scoring average at Augusta national. Keep an eye out for that. Like a career leading into their career for their career. Uh, this was a great one. Didn't know this only once in the last 20 years has the pre tournament betting favorite one, the masters. I think that's the right way to read that. Scotty in 2024. Yeah. Which is kind of crazy to think about. Uh, each of the last 14 winners picked up at least 18 strokes gained T to green in their last four starts leading in. And finally, uh, since 1998, 27 of the 28 winners have made the cut the previous year. So let me recap all of that as far as what we're, what we're looking for, who we're looking for here. Okay. We're looking for a 32 year old, six foot tall Texan, who's a great iron player. Oh my God. Went to college for a year and a half is not the favorite. Has an under par scoring average at Augusta national and who made the cut last year. Cody, who fits that bill to a fucking T Jordan, Spieth guys. This is, I mean, I don't know how much clearer it could be. You know, if you would, you would lay it all out like that. So I don't know how that just hit me like a lightning bolt today. I started thinking about that 32, just pulling all the threads and it just is, I mean, it's meant to be, I think he's going to do a Dage. I'm riding with you. Oh, I would love nothing more. Did that fall up to Rory last year? That would be good stuff. Would love to see it. So there you go. Weird things happen to Augusta. You know, it's a storybook place. We, like we said, Randy, I think she's, you know, he's free from the, from the evil genie's curse. So apologies to ask for tally, but you know, I just carries that. I'll ask this. He's playing pretty, he's playing good, man. It's not great. It's not like world-leading stuff. It's solid. Okay. In a year where a lot of T11s, T12s. Yeah. But in a year where nobody's kicking the door down, it's, I don't know. It's interesting. Fun, fun. We'll dive into this more on Wednesday, but fun stat for you. Jordan Spieth has gained strokes on the field on 17 of the 18 holes at Augusta National. Oh, I wonder what the, any guess what the other one is? Now, listen, who's another 32 year old American? Bryson. Bryson. Texas. Well, he's from California, right? California, but SMU. SMU. Clovis is kind of the Texas of California. It is. So I don't know. I just got a kick out of that this morning, because that was, that was kick at some stuff around. Is he still playing the Hebrew hammers? Uh, I don't know. Be a good thing for you to, to look into. That's a good look into the, the, remember the 3D printed irons now? Yeah. I haven't heard any gear talk out of Bryson lately. I'm not sure. You get my six. Yeah. Let me ask you this before we see T times and it's, it becomes easier that you're like, Oh, two of three guys. I want to see that. If you guys had to pick one guy to follow Thursday morning, like if you were like, who, who's, who'd be the, assume everyone's playing in the morning or whatever that would be, who's the one guy you'd be most curious to go follow? On a Thursday. Yeah. I mean, speak. Yeah. It depends on what the, what the, right? I mean, you don't just watch. Yeah. The answer would have been Rory, but now it doesn't feel like it says, uh, um, dramatic now. Uh, I mean, for that reason, like Bryce and I think would be in the conversation for me for sure. Yeah. I think Cam, young would be in the conversation for me. Go see what kind of start he gets off to. Yeah. That would be a great three ball right there. Speeth, Bryson and, and Cam young, give me that one. Um, I had this one on my list. I just, you know, kind of a weird naming conventions thing. Uh, the master's, I can't quite wrap my head around why they have, they always have scorecard as two words and they always have leaderboard as two words. Choice drives me crazy. Just needed to air that out. And then they also had, uh, Cody and I were laughing about this one earlier. Uh, sometimes it'll change people's names for what you see it as normally. Uh, and rather than Johnny Kiefer, they have a listed as John Kiefer, which just really makes me as well as Samuel Stevens, which, uh, always again, I don't know the rhyme or reason, but just, uh, something interesting there. Can we get a Scott's, a Scott Schaeffler? Scott Schaeffler. I think that'd be great. Tom Fleetwood, you know, if we're gonna, yeah, let's, if we're going to make, we're going to make everyone grow up. You know, I think we got to, we got to be consistent. Um, no special invites this year. We mentioned that, uh, TC, we kind of covered the, the merch overview. So I would love, and Neil would love a more detailed, uh, on the ground report from you guys. Dwight, so I have to go buy a now driving hat. You do. You're allowed to expense that through the, through the normal channels though. If you, if you'd like submit the receipt to Randy. Okay. Thank you. Uh, I had a couple of head to heads. I want to throw it. You guys just, you know, what, we kind of covered some of these in our, in our draft picks, but Scotty versus Rom. So I'm going to start with you talking to big game on, on rom. The head to heads, the reason I like the head to heads is it's just so easy to just in a vacuum, say anything about anybody that's like, okay, well, do you think he's going to beat this guy? He's like, wow, fuck. I don't know about that. I've got, I've got like some PTSD of just like dismissing Scotty ahead of the PGA last year and the open, the only two major I didn't win last year. I guess did pick the masters either, but I picked him in the U.S. open. That was the only one he didn't come close. Um, Oh, I, I was Scotty. I still asked me. Yeah, I know. Yeah. Sully, I think the thing that you said earlier of like how important it is around the greens. Yeah. And how Scotty's like the best chipper in the world by a pretty wide margin and how it's trickier there. Cause there's like this little bit of grain and they're so tight and it's like, it just puts everything under a microscope. That's where it's like, you talk yourself out of Scotty as far as his trend and everything, and then you talk yourself back into him when it's like, holy shit. All right. Like he's got all these little micro skills too. Yeah. Anyone want to take the wrong side of that? Are we unanimous? I'm going to go Scotty as well. Yeah. Yeah. I'm glad we have two more days to pick, like think on a winner as well, because like not only is he the best, he's also just so good at Augusta. Like, and I, last year was the ravioli period. And I think that was different than, than this phase. Uh, I don't know. I got to think on, I might need to go follow him for a little bit of practice. Wait, last year was the ravioli. Yeah. Yeah. That feels like it was four years ago. That was last year. That's crazy. I'm speeding up. I always feel any concerns about perspective and. I think you just gotta read. Just read up. I almost think like a little variable thrown in there, uh, kind of distracting for the poor recent play could be, could be a good thing. I think good mood. I think as I was gathering my, uh, my data points for that elaborate setup there, uh, I think Shane Ryan had something about how the, the, the masters, like the average champion has like one point. So like 1.1 kids or something like that. I'm like, well, that's, you know, he's got one and another one that's like 11 days old. That's not a full kid yet. That's pretty, you know, that's pretty, he might be statistically just dialed. Uh, all right. Other head to heads, Rory versus Bryson. Shout him out. I'll take Bryson. Rory. Yeah. I'll take Rory. Take Bryson. I'll take Bryson. I did. Uh, this year I'm taking Bryson. Xander versus Ludwig. Ludwig. Man, that's a hard one. Love it. Randy, what's your deal, man? Tron, here's a question. You're bad mouth and Nellie in the slack yesterday for being runner up three straight weeks, but yet we're, we're. Wanting Ludwig saying he's been playing well. I just don't understand where the line gets drawn. I, I got to call balls and strikes. Ludwig's not doing it. Ludwig's not the number one player in the world. And, and anointed by everybody is like the superstar in, on that entire side of the game and Nellie just, she's gotten run down and just shown no dog in her at all. So Nellie's also the number one player in the world. That's true. I mean, Nellie's won 16 times in two major. And they're the same age. Wow. That's a little misleading, Randy. The age thing. Gosh, TC, I'm just such a, I'm a massive Ludwig appreciator. I just dog is not the term that comes to mind right now. I'm not calling him a dog, but I don't think he's, he's like, we got to give him a little bit more time here to, to the die is not cast yet. Well, I don't think anyone's saying that. I don't think it's, you guys are though. No, I'm just saying there's nothing to go on right now. I know that's where belief and faith come in. Maybe I know the numbers don't say it. It's, it's what do you believe in your heart? And what are your, what are your scouting reporters telling you, Randy? That's, that's what we're about on that note. I'll take Xander. Give me Xander, Dij. Uh, all right, I'll take Ludwig. It's more fun Xander, uh, 32 years old, close to six feet. I don't know. He's no idea. I don't think he's very close to six feet. ABS measured height or normal, like want to be listed. That is a good one though. That's a, that's yeah. It fits, fits a lot of it. Checked a lot of the boxes. Uh, I think he's also Wilton a few times before, before breaking through in majors, like it's part of the process guys. It's true. Uh, Cam, young versus Fleetwood. Cam, Cam, Cam. Whoa. I got Fleetwood, I think you're a great man. At the end and beat Cam young with that. I think Fleetwood floor is higher this week. So I give me, give me Tommy. I did discount that out of contention round four possibly, but that's true. Yeah, exactly. Scoring average in the final rounds, like 62. Uh, yeah, I, I Cam could be, I really hope the floor is as high as I think it is, but it also feels like one of those, like if he, you know, laid an egg, like, would you be crazy surprised? No, I'm, I'm getting a little turned off on how popular of a pick Cam young is. Yeah. Is it that popular this week? I feel like every, yeah, I mean, everybody's pretty popular. But, uh, TCA a couple, a couple off the board ones for you. Uh, Rasmus Hoygard versus Rasmus Neargard Peterson. That's not the only one that matters. I know. Uh, exactly. This of course, Harkins back to our, uh, Rasmus bed. I believe I have Rasmus Hoygard and you have all the other Rasmuses, uh, you know, kind of from present and future. Yeah, exactly. So I really feel like I need Rasmus to kind of make hay while the sun shined it here. You guys, you guys kids debating this in the future. I'll go near guard Peterson. Love it. Uh, Min Woo Lee versus Si Woo Kim. Well, three name, three name heads up there. I think Si Woo. I'm going to, I'm going to stay on my guy, Min Woo Lee. What could go wrong with Min Woo Lee? I'm buying high. Yeah. Give me Si Woo. Uh, that's all I got. Anybody else want to throw anybody? Uh, Dage, there's, there's a really good one on here. Dustin Johnson versus Sergio Garcia. That's a fun one. I like those. They're playing together yesterday. The ACEs versus the fireballs. I'll take Sergio. I'll take DJ. DJ Sergio had a presser today saying he's not, not in good form. Let's just go off that. You said that? Yeah. Just, yeah, I'd like to be, yeah, something, a paraphrasing, but yeah, just not playing very well. It's not where it needs to be. DGC, one of those masters winners from Texas. Yeah, exactly. Uh, light on the college years, you know, probably about six foot. There's some interesting stuff there. Uh, man, you're talking about, uh, Dustin and, and you know, speaking of ACEs and four ACEs, I had a couple of stats here, a 12th hole. They mentioned this during the ANWA. Uh, no ACEs there since 1988 on the 12th hole. Just kind of shocking that that hasn't happened. Uh, not the longest stretch at Augusta. I dug into this. It took 58 years for somebody to ace number four, uh, zero ACEs at number four until Jeff Sluman in 1992. Uh, and I think he's, unless somebody made one last year, which I don't remember. Uh, I think he's the only one to ever do it. It's very interesting. Uh, another stat, just file away for fun. Uh, since 1998, only two people that have birdied the 72nd hole to win. You guys know who they are? You can get these Marco mirror since 98, since 98. So not a mirror, not including Charles or four, or Nicholson, Nicholson and Schwarzle only guys to, to birdie the 72nd hole to win. To win, uh, one by two, but yeah. Um, yeah, just something that always like, it just seems like it happens all the time, uh, and it really doesn't, you know, where that pin is and birdied the last hole and one, but he wanted to play off birdie it to win. A catch. Hmm. Roy birdied in the playoff, but it wasn't the 72nd hole, but Schwarzle, he won by two, you said, right? So Adam Scott would technically technically went to a playoff. Went to a playoff. I'm throwing it out. I'm throwing it out. Uh, other than that, guys, uh, we're kind of, we're kind of winding it down here. We've got Amazon Prime video in the mix this year. This was a big deal when it was announced, but that means we've got expanded coverage, like a full blown telecast on Amazon Prime video from one to three, rather than the normal telecast starting at three o'clock Eastern. Obviously still have all the same featured groups and all that stuff. Sounds like Terry Gannon, I believe at the helm, uh, on that one, any, any thoughts there or anybody? Is where does ESPN fit in? Three is three to seven, like after the, after the Amazon window. I love the early stuff. Like the feature groups and the screens and all that. Or that I'm not like, I'm not craving the broadcast to come on. Unless there's somebody in the window, uh, like a group, I really want to watch it doesn't make feature groups, which usually they madden, maddeningly will, will throw one that's like, obviously should be in one, but just isn't one in one for some reason. That's kind of the only thing that's really covering off on for me in that period of time when there's so much golf on the golf course and all the other camps can kind of keep you on, on things. So, um, it's a positive. It's all positive. I feel it. I don't know, unpopular take. Maybe I feel like I'm always craving the telecast over the streaming stuff, whether it's featured groups, featured holes, featured, whatever. I just, you can send me the tailspin. Yeah. Yeah. Lot box going for too long. Yeah. So I am, I'm expanded, expanded telecast coverage is so in. And I feel like there's always somebody who's like, you know, kind of finishing right as that three o'clock window is coming around. And it's like, ah, we didn't really get to see him play the best holes. You know, unless you're watching on an iPad or on, you know, whatever. So it's, I don't know. I think it's nothing, but nothing but positive. We'll see, uh, see how it goes. But these, these, can I go back to who I would watch on a Thursday morning? Sure. Cause I've done this a few times out there and I think it's a really interesting thing to do. I would go watch Mason Howell. It's a good one. Or like one of the amateurs. Cause I think you're watching someone with this once in a lifetime experience who's totally out of their depth, whether they're prepped for it or not. And see if they can sink or swim in what to that point is the biggest setting stage moment of their life so far. And I think that this year I am really, really excited to see Mason Howell play in this thing. Cause I think, I think Mason Howell could like be a Kutcher type performance as, you know, a Kutcher, Lucalus type performance as, you know, as the USM champ this year, like it's, he's so good and he's in his game fits this place to a tee. Yeah. He was, he was awesome to watch in Walker cup and seeing that golf swing up up close. Um, TZ, what do we got for weather, man? How are we looking? Unless everything's changed, it looks awesome. I mean, it just looks like partly cloudy and warm and dry the whole week. Um, so are you seeing anything different? No, I mean, just kind of cool in the early parts and then yeah, getting hot over the course of the weekend. And yeah, they should be in complete and total, total control. Only thing I'm worried about is the Azaleas when it gets hot out there. I think the, like it rained less yesterday morning. There was some weather that rolled through here in Atlanta yesterday, rain yesterday, rain less yesterday there than, than, than expected than forecasted. So, you know, enough to kind of take the place of, of the sprinklers, but not enough to, to slow it down or a drench at all. So it should be like one of those years where it's like, holy shit, this is setting up to be an epic, epic canvas for this golf tournament. What's, uh, I mean, I feel like we're, we're going to get to this on, on Wednesday when we do like, you know, picks and some, some of that stuff. Beluga's big board I'm hearing is, is coming on Wednesday. Uh, but what's the, I mean, what's the ideal scenario? Like I feel like we've danced around this a couple of different times, but with the Rory Grand Slam finished, uh, obviously Tiger and Phil, not like just some of the like first ballot hall of fame. Like I wish that would happen type of stuff. Having either happened or been not possible. What is right now, let's start with you. What are you, what would be just like Jeannie grants you one wish you could see this week. TC was talking about Justin Rose. What would be on your list? It's the return of the speed. I don't know what else it would be truly. Yeah. You know, totally with you. I'm just kind of checking my time ago. Uh, when's his last major? 2017, 2018. Oh, 17. It's been way too long. 10 year anniversary of the collapse. Yeah. That would be incredible stuff. I don't know what second is. That's a good question to each like, I mean, just being there when Bryson's army is formed, you know, as he becomes the conquering hero, takes over Augusta and YouTube all, all in one year. I'm gonna be a conscripted. I think a low key cool one would be, uh, Sally would be Brooks. Yeah. Big one. Six. And then that would, yeah. And then that would really then, you know, kind of set the stage for, Oh, for him to, yeah. And then Scottie, you know, Jason history starting to really get like, oh, right, we are way ahead of schedule and we got three of them. Like that, that has, um, that has some gravitas for sure. It's like not, not insane to, if Scotty won his third this week, it's not insane to think that he could win six. Oh, it's a, it's a big F. But like, uh, he could be tie jacks record. Yeah. I mean, if we're talking like Jeannie and what I would personally really get Sandra, the thrill from would be max homo winning the masters. Sorry, I stepped on that. That was a nice, a nice moment there. Big, I'm sorry. Fallen, I think he might have me out next Sunday before the week to play with him. You know, we were talking about last night. Yeah. God, that'd be ideal. You and Jerry backer Roy and Jerry players, great sons and stuff in your face, peach ice cream sandwiches. Uh, it'd be great. Uh, solid. What else we got? Anything else on the, on the way out here? We got a lot of shows coming this week. We're going to be back when around the same time, 4pm Eastern time, uh, our final kickoff show, final picks, who's going to win, who won't win. Uh, we'll be recapping every single round after play-ins estimated jump time on Thursday, Friday around 730 Eastern time, uh, around seven o'clock on Saturday, probably the 745 ish window, a playoff depending, presser depending, but Butler cabin, depending there on Sunday night. Give us a little bit of time to get organized on Sunday. Uh, but a lot of live shows come to you presented by titleist biggest live, biggest live show week of the year. First order of business, the hat situation. We're in the final days of what has quietly become a very aggressive spring hat distribution campaign. We've got lids that need homes. So here's the price to move people. No codes, no puzzles, no adventure book. There's no enter your email and solve a riddle. It's a simple buy more, save more deal by two or more hats. You save an extra two 50 per hat by five or more hats. You save an extra $5 per hat. That's per hat. Not total per hat. So you started doing the math on five hats. You're basically running a small, just think about it. Go, go test it out. Go see what that number gets to. All right. And they're already priced to move. Come on, treat yourself people. If you're a nest member, you're just out stacks on top of this. It's completely legal. It's full of sanction and this runs through April 16th. So consider this your final notice is your last call. The garment council has made it very clear. We are not doing this again. They've already adjourned for the season. Second, first major collection. We got greens, golds, subtle nods, respectful references, nothing that's going to get you escorted off the property, but enough. The right people will know exactly what you're doing. These pieces are moving, not in a fake selling fast way. We already sold out of the wayward caddy tea and green and inventory, leaving the building. If you're looking for some limited edition thread from boys, go make your move. Finally, spring drops from Holderness and Born and Roeback. Very good stuff. The council spent a concerning amount of time on these. The fabrics were discussed, palettes were debated, TCUs the term transitional layering narrative at some point, which kind of tells you everything you need to know the end result, some very clean polos, hoodies, quarter zips stuff you can wear at your club at work or while explaining to your family. They're breaking too much news from on site. You can't have people using the phones for news. Guys, I'm not going to be on the show on Wednesday. So I'll just get my my pick not to win out there. I'm going to go with John Rom not to win. OK. Hell yeah. Do you want to get your pick to win on the record? Or would you like to phone that in at a later date? Yeah. Tommy. No, I'm going to go. I'm going to go off the board here. I think as much as I want to pick Ludwig, I'm not going to pick Ludwig. I'm going to speak. I think he's going to win. Legitimately thinks he's going to win. Wow. Watch the space. I may have sealed that. I'm a little myself. But hell yeah, is what I got to say about that. Hell yeah. You know, again, they don't remember when we get them wrong. You know, you only remember if you get them right. Imagine being there. You can be a hero for salt for glory. Dude, it's just a bunch of simps in here. Speed. Simping. God, that's good stuff.
