Summary

The hosts discuss Kenan's new SL 65 AMG purchase, major EV sales declines following the end of tax incentives, Jeep's safety recall requiring outdoor parking, and various automotive market trends including Porsche's tunnel mode patent and Saline's crowdsourced supercar design.

Insights
  • EV sales collapsed 50-80% after September tax incentive expiration, suggesting market demand was artificially inflated rather than organic consumer interest
  • High-mileage exotic cars (like the 512 TR with 74k miles at $195k) can hold value well if properly maintained, challenging assumptions about depreciation on driven cars
  • Four-door cars face higher reliability expectations than two-door sports cars; consumers tolerate temperamental behavior in impractical vehicles but demand dependability in family transport
  • Owning multiple high-maintenance vehicles creates scheduling conflicts and family friction, leading collectors to eventually divest rather than enjoy their collections
  • Automotive enthusiasts increasingly value practical daily drivers over exotic weekend cars as life circumstances change, particularly when children are involved
Trends
EV market correction: Post-incentive sales data reveals true demand levels significantly lower than peak months, indicating policy-driven rather than organic adoptionExotic car value stability: Properly maintained high-mileage exotics retain value better than expected, rewarding drivers who use their carsCrowdsourced automotive design: Manufacturers testing consumer input on styling decisions (Saline S11) as alternative to traditional design processesTunnel mode and gamification: Automakers adding experiential features (Porsche tunnel mode, Mercedes air hockey) to differentiate EVs and gas cars beyond performanceStellantis brand fragmentation: RAM and Jeep pursuing divergent strategies (street trucks vs. off-road) while managing quality perception issuesPorsche 993 market resilience: Continued strong demand for analog driving experience despite newer 996/997 models offering better performance metricsLuxury SUV market shift: New Grand Cherokee L and RAM SUV entries targeting wagon buyers seeking three-row practicality with truck capabilityCollector car burnout: High-net-worth individuals divesting collections due to maintenance burden and family time conflicts rather than financial pressure

Hello, and welcome to this car pod! Hi, I'm Kenan. I'm Nick. Nick's here because Filippo is gone once again. Is Filippo even still part of this? He's galavanting. I galavanted the summer, he's currently galavanting, but Nick is here. We got a lot to cover today, but undoubtedly the biggest news story is sitting behind me. Kenan, tell it to us. The biggest news, at least in my world, is that I finally bought a car. Kenan has bought a car, folks. This trumps all a lot of news for the week. Yes, as I've been alluding to there are a lot of cars I was thinking about. I mentioned the R230 SL 55. I can see it's an R230. Is it an SL 320? No, baby. That's the big boy. It's an SL 65 AMG. I've always wanted one of these cars. I mentioned it briefly on the podcast, and someone actually reached out to Nick, who then was connected with me, and here the car is. It's a lovely example. Like I said, 07, Al Bastar White, red interior, and a six-liter bi-turbo V12. Six-liter twin-turbo V12. And Kenan is going to tell us more about it on his... Oh, yes. It's the other piece of very big news on my YouTube channel. So I have my own YouTube channel that I've started by the time this is out. The first video has gone live. So it's just my name, Kenan Rolson, which no one knows how to spell. It's K-E-N-A-N. But they'll figure it out. Yes, if you start looking, we'll have it linked in the description below, of course. But feel free to check it out if you are so into it. Kenan has... folks, folks. Nick, this is the biggest. Kenan has a YouTube channel and an SL65. All right, you know what? I'm kind of salty, all right? If you get an SL65, he got a rent-tech-tuned one. So Mr. Anti-Mod has more horsepower and more torque than my SLR. And I can tell you he paid a little less. Don't even forget it. On top of that, he's creating a new YouTube channel. Sounds familiar. And I heard he's launching an automotive marketplace called Vehicles and Wagers. So, like, come on. Okay, so let's talk about this. Nick just bought his SLR. He talked about it on the pod last week. He revealed it on his own. We've all got YouTube channels everywhere. Yes, everybody except Felipe, who will buy a car and have a YouTube channel soon, hopefully. Yes, he will never come soon. Coming soon, dot, dot, dot. But let's talk about this. He's got an SL65. Yeah. So that SLR, you got a week ago. He picked boy to go. Wrap out of him. Well, look, I had waited for this. I bought it. It was a huge deal. And then both of you bought cars within like a week and took all of my thunder. Well, I could be a chicken. I actually bought my car first. It just took a while to get here. Yes. Both of you actually beat me to having your car actually arrive. But that's due to the dealer. I bought it from that whole thing. But nonetheless, yes, I do now also have a high powered range topping Mercedes. You and I bought cars at the same time. Our friends Sam bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car. I bought a car with my friends Sam bought a car at the same time. There's just the seasons of life where you change out all the cars and get new ones. So I'm thrilled you did it. And it is funny to see the two cars together knowing how similar they are. And Doug, Doug still wants a 193 Turbo. What are you doing? Please buy one. People stop sending me listings. I know, I know, people keep sending me listings to silver ones. It is so Euro one. I had somebody just now, just right now, reach out and be like, do it, buy a Euro one in Europe. I want a U S 193. So white red SL 65 how many miles seventy two thousand three hundred miles are we not a little bit concerned? So no now initially If there's so two things Nick has taught me that you kind of can just go into this and like learn what it's like Like you don't have to be as afraid now. We're waiting the Bentley You know you don't do that you can go to a certain level But just don't go too far or by that crappy of a car right and now I have to listen to Doug at some point right and I did This is the technically in our 230 dot-2 They got a little bit better when they face up to this car for the first time They then face up to it again, which is the one with the different front So this car's got a little bit more reliable But also this car comes with a stack of service documentation Not the previous owner but the owner before him was an engineer and he got an aftermarket warranty and used it a lot And so I have documentation like this that shows the ABC system with service that I think the water pump Which is a known issue on those engines has been replaced a bunch of other stuff too So really not particularly worried about it and I'll do a video talking about you everything There's wrong with my SL 65 but so far I've put about 500 miles on it since I got it and a couple weeks ago And not an issue so far folks Ken and his body would The chickens have come home to roost. I think that that's what I said means but It's a Midwestern it is interesting He's been talking about buying car for a long time some people me included have been giving him Oh, he's never gonna buy car the commenters have been way more brutal, but here it is and not only that Ken and was talking about Oh any Vora or a Lotus or Viper he went above and beyond all that he's got 800 horsepower and nine million pound-feet of torque It's yeah allegedly it's 735 horsepower and 826 pound-feet of with the tune. Yeah allegedly so so with verify on your end I mean, you know he also gets things like parking sensors His keyless entry doesn't require you to put the key in to start it. There's a budget like the folding hard top I believe you have Bluetooth that streams music. Yes, there's a lot of amenities. Well, you have a cassette player though But it's a new 12 and you have a little thing you flip up and you hit you know Yeah, that's pretty cool. It's I will say having them side-by-side the SLR does have a little extra Presence it is interesting I think one of the complaints that people have about the SLR is that it's sort of like an SL But when you actually put them next to each other, it's like the career GT in the Boxster. Oh, it's like a Boxster Well, that's true right up until you get him next to each other and then you realize kind of that the SLR is a more precise tighter like more kind of Insanely created they're both really special and I think seeing them together you can recognize similarities and differences But like the SL 65 is also very under and we have always wanted one in this group the all of us No, we've read about some a few others some of them appear on this I talked about it more in the video, but that engine Yeah, I got now there that is another we can talk about this all day But there's a reason yours is the supercharged v8 and not a v12 It's because it's just a more immediate that engine takes a second to spool like a jet turbine But my god when we both been on the highway together both have laid into it and it's pretty even Nick It takes a second to spool up is a good vibe for you. Yes. I do take a second Where's Ken and I spooling up taking a second here V-tech hasn't caught in yet. Anyway, there's gonna be more on Ken and YouTube channel talking about the SF 65 go there and watch And he's gonna have more stuff and more updates and interesting automotive content like Ken and you there's Ken and fans There are Ken and fans. There are Nick fans. There are Filippo fans. There are Filippo Filippo Filippo doesn't care about any of this though. So you're never gonna any content out of him But these two will give you content and Ken and go to Ken and YouTube channel. I'm very excited myself to subscribe I plan to be subscriber number four. Oh, thank you. That's very kind. Yeah Can you send me a link? I will I'm not a subscriber. I will send everybody links Okay, we got to go on to the actual news starting with SEMA SEMA is going on right now I don't have anything specific to say it just by the time you're watching this it will have gone on a little more But right now it's like just started so there's not that much happening when we're filming this today Toyota released a scion a Scion a scion it is a it is a side-by-side It's an it's an all-terrain vehicle and it's apparently made from Tacoma parts But it is nonetheless called the scion zero one and it is like the oh, yeah The scion brand has returned and actually on the side of it. It literally says scion Huh, yeah, and the Arctic camera, but there's there's other stuff too I might we have a couple friends who are there who are sending us pictures and obviously all of it is tasteless and ridiculous Which is the fun of SEMA? That's what we are looking for. Well, yeah, and then your big mod guy with your rentech tunes. Yeah, this is your vibe. Tell us about it I've never been to see I can't imagine a place to be more out of like fish out of SEMA, but I will say that throttle has their GT for GT. Oh, oh, yeah, that they're TJ Huhn, yeah, it looks incredible. It's a WDWD 40 delivery But it came out really cool as in TJ Hunt debuted a new car there, too So it feels like the the other San Diego youtuber should probably be bringing something to SEMA. You've ever been to SEMA Absolutely not and I have no look at that. I know everything. I'm not a Vegas guy in general It's not like kind of my vibe And I definitely don't want to go to Vegas to have a million people run up to me and tell me about their aftermarket headlight solution There's a lot of it now It is supposed to be a trade show for people in the business not like a car show But there was a video or a photo I saw someone like Snuck into the event through the like the air vents in the ceiling and stuff like that So it's like it's become a total circus as you would expect. Is it even hard to get tickets? You got a hundred bucks show that you're in the industry But like it's like getting a press pass come on. Yeah, it's like getting press photography plates on your car Excuse me. I am a bona fide press photographer Okay, so SEMA is going on that Toyota thing is the first big piece of news I've seen out of there nothing else yet, but I'm sure there'll be more go Google SEMA content get off this video Get out of our podcast SEMA comm slash aftermarket headlight solution Instagram comm is also a good source for more. My Instagram is all tennis So I don't get any car stuff there anymore and oh really no dogs. Well just tennis, you know that just Federer and his back end It's all it's all the car stuff's all stopped and sometimes I get Accident videos crash videos. Oh, yeah, I'm interested in that. I'm interested in that Interesting. Okay, let's move on to the next story. The next story is a great one e v sales I don't want to harp on this because we've talked about it before and we predicted this would happen But the tax the tax incentive for e v's ended at the end of last month and ended at the end of September yep, and here we are in October the spooky month and boy is it spooky if you're selling e v's The numbers are absolutely what we all knew they would drop Ionic six sales were down 52% that car is already a car that was selling pretty lowly I read that prologue sales were down 80% Wow 80 oh My god, you know, I was in DC a couple weeks ago And I saw a prologue drive by with one of those magnet decal things on the side that said we buy junk cars And I'm like for that type of person to get a brand new e v. You know, they were deals, right? But they ate me more Wow 80% decline. It's a complete disaster I mean, it's hard cuz they robbed Peter to pay Paul right last quarters were good because it pulled forward a lot So like Q4 is also not indicated like Q1 should be better because it will have normalized versus if you were thinking like September 30th should I buy now or wait a month like you were buying maybe but I have a suspicion the current Output is probably about what it's gonna be. Yeah, so I don't necessarily think there was like a big Oh, it went up and then it went down But it's gonna know I think it went up and it went down and it's gonna stay down Is the drive is reporting the following Subaru? Soltara in 25 was about to it was about to match its 24 sales total right up until October They sold 10,000 units in 24 so thousand a month. I don't know 800 last month. They sold 13 National Wow Now that car is about to be replaced so there's something to that but it was also a terrible e v and I bet there's an enormous amount of Inventory and they that inventory will never move If you're if you're watching this podcast in 2063 You can still get a new 25 Soltara on the lot right now You know under a couple feet of dust, but it's there Jaguar has to be really worried They're they bet the whole company on an EV and this ain't good news I think Jaguar should be worried for a lot of reasons Jaguar's never not been worried really not since like the e-type Right honest. Oh, all right. Give us our next news story, please Oh Honda I'm looking up news for this pod and I got a motor trans website. Can you pull up motor trans news website? Please latest breaking motor trans. What's the headline Honda getting serious about more actually capable off-road model? You know, it's funny. I've heard that I've heard that they should do that One somewhere has been harping on it on the world's largest automotive podcast. I Wonder who convinced them to do this I Would like to think it was more than just you for the sake that I don't think we'll be able to fit your head on camera If you really think you have that much influence, but I gotta say though I you know what I think influenced it is that they took a look at 14 years of forerunner sales and they said you know we thought this trend would die out after 13 years But I think it's gonna stick around now. So maybe we'll make something capable Why does Honda takes such a long time to realize these things that seem very obvious to everybody else? What is they're just afraid? They're a very conservative slow-moving kind of tepid company and they're very afraid to go outside of their core and Sometimes they do but even then they're afraid to really invest in it I can relate to that personally But they need a nick to like push them maybe your Honda's Nick The Nick was there back when they had the original insight the element they were doing some legit stuff And they pulled that I agree about the insight the original insight But even the element you know it was a CRV right and and they did some weird packaging It was cool some but like ultimately even that they didn't they even made an SC version that yeah Wasn't supercharged it just had the same regular. It was purely cosmetic Like there's just there's never this like Until it is really absolutely proven this is where they have to go. They're just afraid to do it But maybe now that'll change maybe they'll finally go body on frame I hope like the new Camry you are bestowed the honor of being the first person in America to drive one outside Whatever the off-road vehicle is. Yeah, the passport transport cutting it Although mildly lifted pilot or whatever it is that we're looking at I don't think it's lifted I have a I have a neighbor who just I don't know this person or met this person But what by their house they just got rid of a Tacoma and got one of these wow and it's like oh Maybe Honda succeeding but probably not my friends love to poke fun at me and honestly I'm an easy target my love of my M5 my fascination with watches my nerdiness in general even Emily gets on my case Sometimes one thing I am constantly mocked for though is my George Costanza style wallet like George I need everything in it and traditional wallets make my back hurt or get in the way of rowing my own gears And that's why I recently made the switch to Ridge Ridge walls are super thin But they hold a lot up to 12 cards each plus cash They're also available in a wide range of colors materials and liveries meaning that finding one that suits your style is especially Easy they're also really safe You know that I'm a cautious guy and protecting my information is important to me all Ridge wallets have RFID blocking technology Meaning my card data stay secure wherever I go coupled with some great accessories like Ridge air tag attachments Key cases suitcases and much more well They offer a lot of optionality for my daily carry best of all Ridge stands behind their quality These wallets carry a lifetime warranty and if you're not happy with the 99 days, they'll take it back No questions asked for limited time our listeners get 10% off at Ridge by using the code Doug at checkout just head to Ridge comm and use the code Do you G and you're all set after your purchase? They will ask you where you heard about them Please support our show and tell them that we sent you all right time for our next news story, please Ah, yes a picture of a tunnel tunnel Porsche recently filed a patent for an interesting feature in their cars now as car people We approach a tunnel we kind of go through this ritual Oh, yeah, you slow down a little bit you put the windows down you knock down a gear So that you can lay into it and here as you go through the tunnel Portion knows that people want to do this and they've developed a mode But the car will sense you're getting near a tunnel using cameras and GPS and when you do it will choose a Lower gear if it's cold outside it will raise the temperature so it can lower the windows a little bit so you can hear it If you're in a convertible it will warn you so it'll tell you hey put the top down so you can hear the like the engine Which can you imagine pulling over putting the top down then going through the point the top back up ridiculous? But what was fascinating to me is that like this mode will come to existence for gas cars that makes sense They're also allegedly going to offer it for EVs It'll do a similar thing give you more EV noise before you get to a tunnel which I think is Ridiculous, but this whole mode is very silly, but I think it is kind of cool I did I'd like I'd be pretty it's a fun idea And you know in this age of Teslas with the you know the fireplace and Ford pickups with the drawing pad and Mercedes with Air hockey in the screen like weird things like this are gonna be a thing Yeah, and so I'm happy that even the Germans are thinking up ways to be inventive and interesting and odd that goes beyond just function I guess I think it's I think it's I think it's cute and it's fun and it works for the Porsche brand You might call it a quirk you might call it a quirk like as a quirk and feature guy I love this stuff the thing that they're missing so whenever I see a tunnel I do everything you said But then you got to yell something before and afterwards so it's usually fire in the hole How did you drive through and then I asked my passenger. Did you enjoy the song of my people? Do you guys not do that like just you got a like if you ever wanted to know what it's like to ride with Nick in a car Oh, oh, I do that for cold starts to Do you actually yell fire in the hole before entering a tunnel? I mean sometimes it's like hey watch this or is it only You have a passenger or is it when you're solo as well? If I'm in Wyoming get hold my beer That's legal that is not I don't none of them Mississippi for a long time you couldn't go they have like drive through Slushy places, but wait when you don't have a passenger. Do you still do this? No, you got it especially for the past it's further benefit. You don't have a passenger. Do you still do this? I'm sorry. I only heard like three of those Occasionally, I mean I talked to myself I sing to myself you guys don't talk to yourself I do but I don't yell fire in the hole It gets you mentally ready to really enjoy it. Yeah, no, I'm sure it does okay move on to the next Saline this is one for you so saline is coming out with a another super. Wait. Let's let's let's couch that saline Claims they're coming out with the next right. Yes. Yes, allegedly in the future Maybe they released a content called the calling the s11 and this is their super car They're supposedly going to come out with now at the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, Washington They actually have a clay model of this car But the interesting thing is that they are asking people who go through the museum to have input on the design So they have a bunch of elements that they think they want to put on the car They're asking people to choose what they want on the car So they're kind of crowdsourcing the design for this thing So if you want to have input on a say go to Seattle You can make a video go to Seattle and have some input on what you are saline Enthusiast yeah, and I've got some thoughts and a former owner. I love saline I desperately want to buy another one. I miss my XP8 the s7 is like one of my dream cars Money was no object which it would need to be for that car I would absolutely buy one The company has had a hard time They they tried to expand and get a deal in China that went really south and almost bankrupt them They were doing a lot of fundraising where they were hitting up everyone on their email list saying like hey Invest in the future of saline and like promising them stuff. It's gotten a little sad But don't you think that was kind of always the situation with saline? Well the 90s they were like on top of the world and Tim Allen Do you think they were do you know what I mean like right they were more financially solvent than they are as of late So you do wonder I mean they had the s1. Do you remember that concept? More than a con it was a race series that they were trying to yeah the s1 sports car in China They never they never got the budget to make it road legal, but there was maybe a couple dozen I remember the s5 s I Don't remember that one that was one year. I was in Monterey and that was around they started doing Tesla's at one point Oh, yeah, chargers Tesla's With the s why do people complain when we say that yeah, yeah, no me in particular Yeah, so I hope they've always had great styling. I love is a cool looking car I love the car make it look like that very NSX looking I also wonder like if you're so you're walking through your museum and you're giving feedback Like is it like a little post note you put in there? Or is it like the bathroom like they have how clean is our bathroom like thumbs up thumbs down like They have like a bunch of things that you can vote on as a participant They're gonna be like revealing these elements to people who are participating throughout the year So you have like time to do this. I mean, I'm down for a little road trip if you all want to go But I do not I um I worry I hope this happens and I hope that they find their path forward But yeah, the simple reality is that creating a super car especially in today's environment Takes an enormous amount of effort unless you're gonna go EV Which case it won't succeed right so you can either create a gas one That's gonna be really hard to do or in creating any V which won't succeed. Yeah, those are your choices We do not do this because it easy we do this because it is hard so hopefully hopefully they make a gas Do you say Lena saying stuff like that? No, yeah, he would what do you think? I'll tell you that. What do you think how this looks that looks fine? I mean I dig it. Oh That would be his feet. He'd write he would take that road trip all the way up to Seattle to the I think it well That's what I dig it these museum people. What are they gonna say like they're not like automotive engineers or art students? Like well, that's a thing like I'll make the rims bigger Pretty big that might be something I say maybe you could give them that input They're gonna get a bunch of like trolley stuff like name it Bodee McBoat face. Yeah, you know like I don't think that's a great way to Do this but you know teach there on all right. Give us our next news story, please a Jeep outside. I know well Speaking of fires dumpster fires and regular Jeep has a recall on 320,000 four by e-models Which is their plug-in hybrids due to a fire risk and jeeps official statement is park them outside just in case now There's only been 19 incidents and one injury so it hasn't like Been majorly harmful, but anytime a plug-in EV is being say don't park it indoors Remember when that happened during the pentagon? Yeah, a bunch of bolts and bolts and yeah So it's as if it weren't bad enough for Stellantis and it weren't bad enough for the four by e-model line in the Grand Cherokee Now they're saying you can't park them in your car. Oh recalls happen and and don't park outside things happen I mean, yeah hell who hasn't had to be who hasn't had the car down the house what I what's better What's worse press do you think saying don't park your car inside or come to the Tacoma? Automotive you see em and vote on your way to the bathroom this Is like a premiere Museum in the world I I've never been to it, but I've heard of the Peterson Maybe aside from the Peterson those two are like the automotive museums number one number two crowd sourcing a car from a finely tuned Museum clientele is a reasonable way. How do you think the Honda Accord was born? They're all gonna be like oh remember when the Deville was out that was so easy to get in and out Raise the ride height make it a little push kind of museum. It's cool It's they're gonna ask for like a bench seat in the front enthusiasts go to the museum It makes sense that they would reach out to people this is a little weird But any recall is a recall is it that happens there's tons of recalls tons every car The Kia guys yesterday I went I did this thing Jeep right now has a very bad reputation for the quality Especially in the grand Cherokees and saying hey, it's it's dangerous to park this in your garage It's the last thing the normie wants to you know to this day. I Wish I had a new grand Cherokee. I bought my sequoia and what I really wanted was the new grand Cherokee L And the only reason I didn't buy the row Okay, the L does have the third row the only reason I didn't buy the L was because I was worried that it was gonna Consistently strand me which I still think is true not a great thing with a new car an old car Look kuntosh can be forgiven, but my view car I've come to the conclusion that if it has four doors, it can't strand you Two doors can strand you four doors. It's got to be reliable. That's my rule now Interesting in your life or just in general I think people in general are willing to give a bigger wider birth to a two-door car Because you're making a decision to be impractical to begin with but the day you get a four-door car You're looking for practicality And if that thing strands you you got a whole lot less patience for your four-door car the e60 m5 has entered the chat right Right, honestly, I bet you there are a lot of sports cars that are just as unreliable as that car But it doesn't get as much press because That car is supposed to be Transportation whereas a two-door car is supposed to be enjoyment and an experience which sometimes involves some temperamental behavior I don't I don't disagree with this take now my four-door car has only stranded me twice But every one of my two-door cars has stranded me and none of my four-door cars have stranded in true Well mine it was eight years at 80,000 miles ago that it last stranded me But still your point is an interesting one Okay, we got to keep going through news is that there's the other Stellantis story is is the intended to take our minds off the first one Yeah, and Jeep might be having a hard time, but Ram is excited. They're ramen and The the hope is now that EVs are dead and the internal combustion engine is thriving They are introducing two new SRT models one of which sadly will not have the 10-cell inner But will be the revival of the SRT 10 RAM I was really They're not they are dead there is no more there is no way you're ever gonna get a v10 past regulatory ever again There are never be another v10 the tomorrow the hurricane is gone Is it really the tomorrow? Yeah, they get rid of the 10. It's over. I didn't know this John tamarian sign off on He's for his namesake vehicle for God sake, but if they take out the v10 it's kind of a insult to the man I Think regardless the big part of this news story that is most appealing to me Is it is being reported that both of these new RAM SRT models will debut in the next 90 days? This is like happening. Well, I mean just throw a hellcat in it. It's not that hard a couple of cold ones Did you see also there's gonna be a RAM SUV not a dodge SUV a RAM brand like a RAM charger style That makes sense SUV in 2028 that makes sense That makes sense. I think a lot of the wagon ear clientele would But have bought a RAM if it was available if you know what I'm saying Let me let me rephrase. I think a lot of folks on their way To the to the to the pool hall in Texas driving their wagon ear would have also had a ram You know what I'm saying? Well, plus I kind of messed up the wagon ear name So they kind of need like a do-over. Yeah, and this will be that's like what did what did there in us rebrand as like that's kind of They need that so obviously no, I don't think there knows I think there is just done. They're done Yeah, there's a lot of taking the year off to find themselves Her husband is now doing stuff. It's it's a whole thing the other important thing about this is that the SRT RAM is gonna be a street truck Yeah, the TRX which is already a high-performance RAM is an off-roadster Yep, but this is gonna be a street truck Imagine pulling up next to a Lobo and just looking down on them feeling Well, you say that we hope what if they don't do engine stuff? They've got you, you know, I have a new RAM at my house right now It's I don't know if you want to check it out later, but I have a brand new RAM at my house And I all I did was move it It was the press car people parked at one spot and it needed to be another and I simply tried to reverse it and It's grilled the tires I'm like All right, give us our next RAM SRT very exciting. What's next? Oh, yes. Yes Look at the Las Vegas concours the Las Vegas concours just happened right before SEMA your your new story there Insane turnout so there was the largest gathering of Veyrons or bays for short One sold for a new record at sixteen point four for I want to say two point oh four million But just crazy every kind of a round you can imagine there was my favorite the revonton Reventon Reventon, yes Arreios that every special Lamborghini you can imagine why didn't we go to this Nick? How come we didn't know about because it was in Vegas. Yeah, yeah, a lot of a together is pretty cool I got to say I still think the Vey is one of the all-time coolest cars ever manufactured at any point in the history of the Auto, it's also amazing to me this many were functional and able to be there I guess it's not easy to get these cars around me They're the notoriously difficult own and service and all these things but yeah, they're all there Well, it makes sense so the the when I was picking up or dropping my Bentley off two weeks ago There was a Veyron out front that my guy was working on it was there I know Ed Bolian shipped his Veyron out to Vegas to get worked on before going there So it seemed like all the owners knew and we're working once in a while You know what it's like? It's like a Plymouth prowler gathering that they do. Yeah is somewhere in Indiana every year You know slightly different slightly different. Yeah, little things were a little different, but it's sort of like that You bring your prowler trailer you bring your Veyron, you know it does almost look like an error like on a GTA One drawback of this and one big reason not to attend was the Lamborghini Veneno was there Which is of course the ugliest carver mate. No, it's no Disagreed the Veneno you don't think it's a government pull up a picture. It's polarizing. I'll give you that I don't think it's the ugly well the poles are ugly as carver made and then no one is in the other Stradman long swoopy I kind of like the front red one is real get it scroll down There's some really bad photos of it out in the world crazy. Oh dude. It's so bad and the wheels are so like laughable I mean that one looks a little too Dubai spec. It's like you're making fun of your customers. No, it really looks like that to me Yeah, it does. Oh, Vinino. Unfortunately there I've been using delete me for years now and let me tell you I'm still just as grateful for it today as I was the day I signed up the first time I saw my personal info all over the internet It was honestly kind of alarming my full name old phone number old addresses even info about my family It was just sitting there publicly accessible and it wasn't on just one side. It was on dozens I had no idea that kind of data was floating around let alone how easy it was for anyone to get their hands on it and listen as someone Who's pretty visible online? I've had to deal with some pretty weird stuff random emails weird messages people digging a little too deep That's why privacy is something I take seriously Delete me became a core part of how I protect myself and my family and that's why I always recommend delete me It's been one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to online safety in peace of mind delete me is a subscription service that removes your personal Information from hundreds of data broker sites and here's what I love you don't have to do anything complicated You give them your info once what you want removed and they go to work every few months They send me a personalized report showing exactly what they found and what they've removed I've gotten emails like we found your name phone number and address on 38 sites and we removed it It's honestly kind of incredible and they don't stop this is an ongoing thing delete me keeps Monitoring and removing your info so it doesn't just come right back over the years. I've watched the amount of my data online shrink more and more It's like a digital spring cleaning But someone else is doing all the work take control of your data and keep your private life private by signing up for delete me now With a special discount for our viewers today get 20% off your delete me plan when you go to join delete me Dot-com slash demurrow and use code demurrow at checkout the only way to get 20% off is to go to join delete me dot-com Slash demurrow and enter code demurrow at checkout. That's join delete me dot-com slash demurrow code demurrow Okay, what else we got we have one more news story hit it hit it with us hit us with it hit all the twingo Nick what do you got about this? I you know, I didn't really read this article closely. However, it got debuted I just think it's really cute. It would be a great multiple replacement in 25 years If ebbs are gonna succeed is something like this could work is just like a commuter car our basic get around town the twingo It's hard to really overstate the impact the twingo had I don't know when in the early 90s still go to Europe and you still see him everywhere They are still beloved in Europe never really got that much love in the United States But they are still beloved in Europe Europeans still talk about their original 90s Twingo as like almost like the Volkswagen Beetle of the 90s and this card This is an electric concept car really does kind of carry on the the look as sort of like an eevee city car It would make sense for Renault to bring back the beloved twingo. Of course, it won't be offered here I don't suspect but no we don't have that French stuff. It's funny now that I have a multiply everyone sends me Articles about the Oventine. Yeah, and how it'll be legal in like a year and all that it is But do you agree pretty cool? Should we move on the talk car segment for this topic? Yes, we can move on the car segment is that the one sponsored that's Yes, the loading Nick get up on the table like us Oh, no, I'm gonna like crap. Why is it every time we are sponsored the talk car segment? The stock car segment is sponsored by Pilote who makes shoes and I gotta tell you something We got a lot of stuff we say we don't say I don't know I don't know the rules, but someone gave me a pair of these shoes I think it was piloting themselves and anyway, we did a drive this week and I wore the shoes and they are fantastic I love them. They're really good on your like perfect size on your feet They have this roll control heel so you can like swivel it to make downshifting easier Did you find it like I mean because I love the shoe for your cars It's hard to find shoes that are narrow enough to fit in most of the pedal boxes a kuntas in particular I didn't try them in the kuntas yet Although I don't really consider that to be a driver's car where you'd wear a driver's shoe But we took the career GT out loved the shoe absolutely loved the shoe and it looks good Nick show us again Bring it out here These ones these are my dress pilotes, and then I have a casual I was I got a picture of I we stopped on on our drive And I did the captain Morgan's thing with my foot on the top of the windshield. I was pretty proud of that So crazy thing I'm gonna be honest. I had never heard a pilote until they started sponsoring this podcast I don't know if this is one of those where we're like, oh, we've been using them for years But either way I hadn't heard of them until they gave us some shoes I tried them and I thought they were really really excellent. So that's my actual honest take anyway visit pilote calm use the code cars And bids for 15% off here's an actual sponsor that we'd like and enjoy and use and want to experience But now we have to talk about the talk cars segment and specifically let's just start with the multiply and like let's get it out Of the way, let's just get it out of the way to say there. That's in that's you you borrowed it I borrowed the multiply my courage E.T. Broke down. That's one of the other topics But I it when that happened I borrowed the multiply and Yeah, that's the thing with the a-class and The the a-two and the multiple they all look really cool, but they're very pedestrian normal boring When I brought a class within an hour of driving it I realized I had made a mistake namely that I dropped $16,000 into it Because it was horribly boring and when the a-two multiply thing happened. I specifically told everybody at cars and bids I'm not doing it. I'm not putting up my money. I'm not storing it at my house. I want nothing to do with this car They bought it anyway you bought the multiply and quickly we have all discovered. Yeah They wear out fast. They're not they're not a very dynamic car. It's slow I mean, I still find it very useful and practical like I use it as a Means to get from point A to point B And it is nice that a lot of people have fun reactions to it Right at least the multiple looks weird so that that gives you some enjoyment of like hey I'm driving a literal clown car. Yeah, but Just driving it. It's a little boring. It's a little boring and I think that's kind of the reality That's what I learned with the a-class is why I'll never do this again is The thing you don't want and this was true my RS to you don't want a car that looks cool But isn't really Interesting you want a car that looks cool and Is cool because if the looks are the only cool thing about it, you know, this is also some relationship advice Thinking I'm sure you were if if looks are the only thing It's not enough. Yep. It's what's on the inside that counts. It's both like I want a car that looks cool and drive Okay I want a car that looks cool and drives well But like those little Euro hatchbacks, which we've experienced the big three and the Alvin team which you brought up I Suspects gonna fall into that category Don't you think? Yeah, for sure. It's for sure great greenhouse a lot of glass It's a people transport it like it's not built for the most powerful motor was a three liter v6 with up to 210 horses Oh, two but remember is mini-vans. I'm it's a mini van coop. Yeah, I Just think like people are gonna bring this in like we brought in our stuff and they're gonna be all this is so cool And and but like deep down inside they're gonna know I think it's like your s cargo It would be great to promote a business because it attracts a lot of eyeballs if you did like pizza delivery or something Super fuel efficient. Yeah, if you truly just needed like a reliable point a to point B It is a diesel and it gets great fuel economy. There are use cases for it But if you're like, hey, I want to go for a nice drive like it's probably not the keys like You'd want to pick up. Yeah, there are use cases for it And as a $13,000 car, okay That that changes it a little bit like you have to compare it to that price you do I will say you're adding some complications like parts finding and that kind of thing which you wouldn't have to if you just bought a Sentra, you know, and I just I will not be importing an oven team. I did this I did the a-class we all got together and did these I'm out you want to do it on the team you do it. I promise you what ain't worth it There are worse uses of 13 grand like you could buy an IPO of Celine For 13 grand and not get there all of us uses like driving around in the in the multiply It's like kind of a fun. Yeah little point a to point B. Yeah, it's just not actually fun, right? So well, okay, so what's the deal? Are you done with this? No? Well, we're gonna do an adventure series. I'm told that'll be fun so we'll film that and then it's over I am actively shopping for its replacement already Sadly the R63 which we can say for talk cars Somewhat significantly exceeded my budget, so I did not that was an astonishing pull that out Yeah, I wasn't able to last week on the show Nick went on this big thing about how you wanted an R63 I know I hyped it to Matt. Yeah to match his SLR so we had this on the site It sold for $64,500 Which was I mean short of when they were brand new and slightly depreciated. This was a record, right? Like yeah, bring the trailer hasn't had anything like this bring the trailer number So 64 5 so now we worry that the R63 is kind of gone Well, this one was an outlier and that it was low mileage it It's what you want But I would say there will be gettable ones for less than this because this is the nicest one that's transacted and Let's try to learn a lesson here. Let's try to learn a lesson from the Bentley, right? Let's try to get a nice one. There's this is It's not a one or a zero. There's a whole scale and spectrum here So yeah, I don't want a zero. I don't need the one point. Oh like like I'm good with like a point four to point six What do you where would you count the Bentley on this scale? It was like a point two and I think I've got it We're like a point five. I think you've got it from a point two to a point three the problem So David nutley who's working on it now worked on them new and he said oh, yeah They were when they were brand new in 2002 with all sorts of issues with it like factory fresh So Nick we knew this everybody knew this he's pissed dude. I can't believe he's like he's like surprised We deserve to rub it in we get that benefit now. Yeah, cuz you're like, oh, it's not that bad. It's great I love this car now here. We are you know what came home to roost like that. So the multiply I think Might get replaced. I'm now a Mercedes guy. We're we're Ben's boys together What do you mean we I mean I got a G-Wagon flipa's got an E-Class station wagon. Yeah, I got it I got an E-Class station wagon also. I'm leaving in the historic now It is ironic that people have always accused me of being a Porsche guy when I've had like 38 I can't stop buying Mercedes Benz and now look at us. We're Mercedes Benz group. We've all got Mercedes Benz. Yeah So in our 63 feels to me like like a good multiply like it it has a third row. It's so it's very practical It's got a ton of power I could maybe manual swap this because I'm not sure I'm gonna do the SLR manual swap anymore So what do you mean? You're not sure you were never gonna do it You just type that up your YouTube channel so you could get more followers than Johnny Lieberman I have wasted a lot of time of various shops. It's I'm still someone interested I just don't I don't hate the auto as much as then I'm talking to DC motorworks at Williams guys About maybe doing a TCU tune on the SLR. I sort of a stop. Let it be no, okay I wouldn't I we mod things. All right. I want to talk about the courage ET which broke down You got a TCU tune, don't you? No, I don't believe so. He didn't need it. I don't need it because I just just the lowering module You get to my level of torque you understand you just kind of pointed on the straight line you breathe on the throttle You let it go I regret this entire podcast Oh Yeah, I mean it's it is what I remember when the SLR was around and then it was during the SLR's run that they came out with The SL 65 and I remember as a kid thinking I don't understand like the SL 65 is now It's got the same power and it's a v12 It doesn't make any sense and it makes even a little less sense now that the price differential It used to be like this and now it's like this Yeah, like that more like but it's about how it is about how they drive ice It's been a long time since I've driven an SLR, but they will be very different. I suspect we'll say we'll do a comparison you and I It better be different I'm afraid I'm what you I drove the SLR. It is a pretty well put together thing despite what all the Internet nut swingers say Okay Swinging them. Okay. I want to talk about the courage ET breakdown Yeah, he broke down over the weekend the kuntas broke down two weeks ago And then on a Saturday and I missed a child's birthday party not my own but a child Because I was waiting for the toe and you know all that and then the courage ET broke down this week And I guess I'll do a video about it. I don't know it's getting fixed right now. It's nothing major But I I instead of getting in depth about what happened. I Will say I am reminded about why I was off cars Uh-huh Yes work, but the inconveniences are minor those cars have been too those cars have been very solid in your ownership Here except for these two little things like it does have their old cars like it does happen But here's the thing but this is what it will have you'll give it a little bit of time You'll come back to it and be like this is the greatest thing ever Yeah, I still think the courage ET is the greatest car ever made I truly believe that Especially because I got to drive it back to back with the SLR and when you do that Hmm H above But deep regret uh, but I am reminded about you know I am you know kind of an obsessive way I like trying to make sure I spend every possible second I can with my family my children and losing what ended up being three hours on one Saturday and another three hours on another Saturday Uh, not really what I'm looking for and uh, it it haven't touched one of the sports cars since the kundas is back Haven't driven it for GT's been just sitting Uh, career GT when it comes back will be sitting maybe here You think why this maybe this is why so many people get all the cars that they've always dreamed of and then they just sit and rot They just can't be inconvenienced because when you have a fleet of 20, it's even that much harder And it's it's every weekend and because yeah and because I think the cars do break your heart They do break down they do this and that and you don't want to be a part of it And so you're like I want to have it but I don't say want to be around that side Just park it and then eventually these collections kind of thin out and everybody's like why is he selling his car? Well, because he doesn't want to he's old He doesn't want to deal with this BS anymore It is funny because like in order to have the cars you do have to be older and aged to afford them usually And that coincides with a season of life that means you're much busier with kids So like The dream of when you're young Yeah, the reality the boys was that the clothes of the boy don't fit the man It would have been fun, you know when you're when you're 23 you like need a headache Like you just in your life you like need a headache like you should go buy a facebook marketplace bad whatever and like bug Learn cars that way. Yep and and break down a couple times and have to go on a flatbed or learn to fix it or whatever Like that's how I you know, that's how I did it when I was that age When you're 37 And you've paid quite a bit of money for some of these cars I get that that happens and whatever but twice in two weeks was a tough Tough hit and I for years was been like i'm off cars. I'm off cars. You guys made fun of me and now I'm reminded why It's not even about these cars It's why I don't want to add more because another car is another set of tires to keep track of another battery another oil change Yeah, maybe you know what I should do I should get a 993 twin turbo and sell all the other cars No, you're not gonna do it. What you're gonna do is buy an old Porsche and add that to your list of headaches I would Say, you know the ancient school of of stoicism would say to reframe every obstacle as an opportunity So every time the Bentley breaks down I say great free car storage And it sits on a mechanic for a couple weeks. I don't have to worry about where i'm gonna park it It is nice It can't break down again when it's already at the mechanic so it doesn't get worse The sad part about that is the car that I that I wish was out of my garage the most It would be the g-wagon because then I can bring the kuntash down because the kuntash only fits above the g-wagon essentially and um But the g is never broken. So I never get to see the kuntash. It's always just up like I see the outline of the bumper It's a sad. It's a shame. We don't have a car wizard or like Jay Leno's guy We just we need our own mechanics. That's that would be nice. Can you fit that on your payroll here? No, a lot of people know that I was the very first official employee here at cars and bids and in the early days It was a little bit overwhelming for all of us Everyone had to wear many hats and they had to learn a lot on the go Meaning sometimes we had to do things that we had never done before It was an immersive and great learning experience But I also realized the value of having tools that simplify and streamline your life for millions of businesses That tool is Shopify Shopify is the commerce platform trusted by millions of businesses around the world Wild fact 10 of all e-commerce in the u.s. I decided to attend a party about cars Nick take it away. I hope we have photos of this party We do including the cake that my wife spent like a week obsessing over every detail So I was my birthday was two weeks ago now And then the car also came around that time and so we decided to have an slr party But it was also a bit of a belated birthday party. That's not how it was pitched to me But anyway, we called it an slr party, but it felt indulgent just to celebrate the car So we're we called it both in my head. Yeah, but we had slr trivia of which y'all did pretty well Yeah, we had an slr cake The slr was parked prominently one of the trivia questions was What's the top speed of the slr and I raised my hand against 208 miles an hour and I was chose wrong Someone else raised his hand against two or seven miles an hour and that person was apparently we said it was price is right Sorry, that was very clear up front We had like been looking at it the previous day online I do think despite how degenerate this car group is Having a party each time someone gets a new car is kind of a fun little tradition. I'm not doing that. Yeah, there's too many cars We can scale it up like if you get a multiply, we're all gonna meet it in an outburger And if you get like a nice car, we can go to like uh, ruth's chris or something You know one thing we did the sslr party everyone came it was the talk of san diego county It was alers. We all drove to nix cul-de-sac And we filled it up with cars. We filled it up with it was hard to dodge all the Driveways, but we filled it up with cars all of us did and uh I brought this the second most powerful Mercedes Benz my e450 all terrain. Yes. I I did not bring my Mercedes Benz So I didn't have that was the title of the most powerful. I took my m5 instead. I had other things The children came there were There were kids crafts for some reason it was it was a highlight of the year Like I all of my friends and their families together celebrating the slr I mean you can't I will say I was walking out of the party and I realized I hadn't actually seen the slr at any point during the party No, it was in you know the garage. It was a backyard party in Right. Yeah, very very sweet party brought to us by nix's wife who I don't think we're allowed to name But whoever she she she watches the pot She watches the pot is really fun and and like it's really easy to go into the trope of like making fun of your Wife or people that don't get the car hobby, but like it was like above anything like her gesture of i'm throwing you a party Like i'm that supportive of your car hobby and the fact that you are a degenerate was so true It was sweet so many of these guys I meet my wife would never let me the old ball and shane the old ball and shane and boomer humor You know, but nick over here not only does his wife support it She threw him a party with a cake that i'm sure we've shown she actually loves the slr too because Uh, it's more usable than the mercy and we got like a functioning roof and the heat works better Like the quality she looks for in a car the slr does happen to be slightly better than the mercy Uh, all I need left on her is to get her to yell fire in the hole every time I go through a tunnel Uh, okay. She's a patient woman. We got to move on to the market report Which is brought to you It's supposed to be brought to you by cars and bids, but the market report is actually brought to you by the 993 twin turbo A usa 993 twin turbo in arena red folks stop sending me euros Stop sending me someone the other day sent me one that was bone stock and the pictures Did it had an aftermarket headlight solution? It's it's if you're in if you think like nick like how nick would have thought of bone stock back in the day when he modded that But it's only wheels and exhausts alone. Oh, yeah, i'm glad I did aftermarket shift Bone stock different steering wheel Seat race point. This is how this is how the super community is I want to mark for turbo also And I look at the super community and people like bone stock and you look at the list of mods on a bone stock car But relative to what some people do in the community that is bone stock, you know That's like how it's viewed right it's like how my Mormon friends and colleagues drink bang energy drinks because they can't have coffee You know, it's like, okay It's a loophole. I don't think that that's that's how I don't think that's The point we're making here. I don't think that's the oem plus mods don't count as mods Huh, it's the same. It's like bang energy drink to your coffee. Uh, okay But anyway, the mark report is brought to you by the 993 twin turbo for all of uh, our friends out there including nick's friends in the Mormon community Uh, find me a 993 twin turbo usa car. Okay. The first thing I want to talk about we already discussed the r63 Can we talk about the aztec pull up the aztec? Oh, yeah, this is on my list too. I almost featured this I probably should yeah, why now we're talking about it. I can fix that you feature now folks There is an aztec on the site aztec is a meme car. We know it's a meme car There is an aztec on the site how many miles five? Yeah, I think that's right. It's got 50 to 201 owner miles 52 The aztec is a meme car, but if you ever wanted to spend a lot of money on a meme car of the multiple Experience here you go. This is unbelievable It's so nice. And I I know You probably prefer the body cladding ones vastly I strongly prefer the game matched to be clear The paint matched ones were way more attractive. Yeah, but the part of the fun of the aztec is its Hardliness. Yes, like the cladding which o1 was o1 only the cladding the cladding ones fit the profile more I've always wanted one of these after the car bros, which I can't find anymore But he brought a fake enzo to the quail right I wanted to do this and make it a urus So put the lambo wheels and lambo badges, but it looks the yellow especially the paint match lowers Yep, really looks like it looks a lot like an urus no matter what people are love the urus. Yeah, well, it's a panache Yeah, with the right wheels and like some you could really vinyl wrap you're willing to spend money on some good reps You could like yeah get close go back to the as I would not be incredible I want to see the interior of this aztec if you look thoroughly looked at this listing not not on the inside The interior is wild. I've spent some time in aztecs over the year. I'm sure and No gm interior aged as well. They've even got the cooler Which by the way is my actual beach cooler that I use to this day on they've got it in the car dug is a kind of guy I can't believe how nice this is. There's I don't know if there's anyone really willing to oh wait Go back to the cooler. What is this? I think that's just the protection that they put on top of that on mine Well, you don't care as much about it. Nobody nobody is willing to spend this kind of money on a meme car But god if you were ever gonna this is the best I feel comfortable in saying this is the nicest Aztec in the world It's gotta be it isn't like one of those like there's a billion Camrys So there's probably one nicer. They only made a few of these nobody saved him Yeah, you think the lane motor museum is gonna bid on this one because they should yeah This doesn't it belongs in a museum. No the place in Tacoma. Lemay. Lemay. Uh, okay. Ken and tell us about the 512 tr Yes, so we recently I love the 512 tr these cars have been on a run recently They I think people are reusing how much nicer that they are than the standard tester But this further underscores that point this car had a ton of miles on we talked about it briefly last week I believe 74,400 miles and it sold for 195 Feels like a big number for a car with that kind of miles So it's also a euro which they're just worth less than the u.s. Cars generally speaking because Can't register in california all those things But nonetheless, I mean this car sold for serious, you know money as a person who's been Talking up kuntash and talking down tester osa for many years It has been interesting for me to watch the 512 to you on that 512 m Have completely break away from the tester osa. Yeah, the market does not view this car As relevant to the tester osa market. It isn't they're very dramatically different cars. It drives so much better I know I drove one while ago. It's different It's better. I don't know that it's three x different But also don't forget like we start to talk about production numbers like the tester osa. They made a ton of 512 It also looks way better way better including the f5 12m which looks the best There's a there's an incorrect take The five I was talking to a friend Edison today about this the f5 12m is a perfect example of what a company does when they have No clue what to do They like they could not move on to the next thing yet like the 550 and they just were like One last thing that's just threw the book at it. That's what happens when you crowdsource styling Yeah, end up with an f5 12 t a great list of cars would be cars that got face lifted at the very end of their production run In order to fit them in with the rest of the model line And so there was only like a year or two of the facelift and the f5 told them is one the uh, o3 o4 Disco the land rover discovery they facelifted the very end to match the range rover even though it was the very end Yeah, I mean the smile on the front end and the wheels still the greatest oe wheels of all time They are good looking. They're elements of the car that are cool, but In its totality good regardless great f5 12 tr number and further proof that the market really believes the f5 12 tr Is a very special car the testarosa is a desirable car It's cool, but it's never really blown up in value ever and I don't know that I ever will This is maybe may I also pause it that it's further proof that Driving your cars isn't as expensive in terms of the hit you'll take on resale as you might think true This is a lot of miles comes when the Porsche dealer calls and says that you need a new starter motor and it's going to be seven grand Right, that's the expense. That's how much the world of engine out ferrari service seven. Yeah, it's a layup. Yeah, that's exactly right I wonder how many engine outs this car has had I've really thought about that and you have to imagine It's at least 15 if it's done correctly. It's probably in europe though. They do it less That's like a thing on ferrari chat like the europeans like do it less and don't even think it has to be done as much And drive the cars more this is a euro. I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been out 15 times, but it's been out It's been out probably 10. I would I would not be surprised. Yeah, I mean how old's the car to 92 93 and 74 Thousand miles you're supposed to do every 5,000 miles. So yeah, if it's improper it should be around that number Yeah, I bet it's been out I wonder if they had to replace the hardware because they wore out from how many times it had to come in and out in Of the car using the right tool for the job is always Satisfying whether it's some specialized tool for working on my m5 or a brand specific tool for moving casebacks on my watches I love having the right tool to get the job done That's especially true with my shaving routine and that's why I turn to harry's for the ultimate shaving machine harry's has long been known for providing a premium shave at a practical price and we've loved their products for years However, after a decade of development harry has recently introduced their most advanced razor yet called harry's plus For this new razor harry's engineers provide their blade honing techniques pivoting system Blade spacing handle design all in the quest to provide barbershop quality shaves for much less than the competition Each german designed blade is honed at three different angles Which allows it to strike clearly at the root without pulling out your hair meaning a cleaner smoother shave I use the harry's plus razor to clean up around my beard and the shave feels as smooth as the v12 in my sl 65 I also love a company that stands behind their product If you're unhappy with your test shave harry's will make it right. Please support our show and tell them that we sent you I want to talk about edison's box tour. We got a 986 it's not live yet, but it'll be live when this goes up. We got a 96 box dress live right now Great car That particular car Is a 986 box tour it is a used car that has a couple of foibles But you know, I was driving that car and I was just reminded by what a great value these cars are. Yeah, they are Yeah, I Still not opposed the idea of having one at some point just to like mess around with for a little bit It's a toss around car and I I actually kind of the the s's are great and and this the one that I reviewed is going to sell well But the base for eight grand um I mean, you know, you're you're you could really just kind of toss around that car to the point where you destroy it And the parts will probably get you back the money, you know That's like you can just really beat on this thing and rag on it and they were kind of designed for that I just find these cars to be tremendously fun for for the money really really fun cars I agree. I think in a lot of I mean Any meados have come back down in value, but for a time Like these were less expensive than any meados and you're driving around in a Porsche Admittedly it's a boxer, but still like it's if you got 10 if you got 10 and you end up with a z4 a z3 Instead of this you're making a mistake if you're young and you want to not if you want to be like what dog said buy an interesting sports car While you're young and have a headache and have a headache Well, I don't really even think that bad of one. No, but you'll learn how to learn a car and what cars things cost and all that Stuff will break. It's a German car. You're going to learn, but this this is a good place to start Totally nine six. Look at that. That one looks so good. There's a lot of and there's some cool specs That does look nice. I like it that we saw that yellow one recently. I really think it was not that one But I'm over the euro side marker. I agree keep it on save the d.o.t. I'm over it I'm over it saved. Oh, we have read it. I think it looks nice. Look at my euro side marker Uh, okay, we got to move on to questions questions questions questions questions questions Which are brought to you by piloti piloti doesn't actually sponsor the question segment But we love piloti enough that they are sponsoring the question segment But shoes come in pairs and they're two so this is the second segment. That's sweet. Yeah. Yeah, but hang on one sec Hang on one sec. Hang on one sec. I'm getting a telephone call. It's spam Okay, ready Okay questions are brought to you by piloti or ken and or nick nicks youtube channel or the sl 65 You can ask us. Yeah, the sl 65 brings us the earth's rotation. That's it does if I'm not careful Uh, you too can ask us a question and you should the questions were great this week We can't even get to all and they're great But you too can ask us a question go to carsonbids.com click on the community tab And there's a post there in this car pod community where you can ask a question And we will read your question on the air if it's good A lot of good ones this week starting with some aimed at ken and liberty asks In the first episode of 25 Kenan made the new year's resolution to spend no more than $2,000 on his e39 m5 at the end of april We got an update where he said he had spent 837 dollars on that On the m5 in that episode ken also states that his resolution was to spend over the $2,500 So we stuck in an extra 500. It sounds like amily has a new screen now Since then we've had no update ken and it's november. How much have you spent on the e39 and 25 so far? I think at 13 47. What was the other thing beyond the 8 37? I did an oil change it went back up for a I have this weird issue with the ac where it like when it's on it makes this like whirring sound But we we can't forget what it is. We replaced the belts and tensioners a couple of times It's still getting it and I've done the compressor in the past like recently So it's not that so we're still trying to figure that I did a couple little minor things. I bought bushings for the The power steering reservoir a couple little things. I mean really little things but generally speaking car has been Rock solid has not needed anything as I predicted. I'm confident that you know don't tell joseph smith this but his bang energy drink is that he Got a gift card for service from all of his friends for his birthday And oh, I use that gift card. So that was another 800. You got to add. Is that true? It's true I I check you and I both For the tin and windows. I see it was like a zillion dollars and I had to spend like most of it Yeah, no, I I match you dollar for dollar. But thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah the rest of them the rest of them It's cheaped out admittedly I I did use that but then I also then spent more money with kevin. So like The kevin money add that in yeah, it was all I don't remember what it was. Oh, we need a real I'll tell you next week with an update You don't have to include the gift card because I have a suspicion you wouldn't have done that if we hadn't given you the gift card Right away correct. So that doesn't really count. Yeah Uh I'm not even gonna mention the Joseph Smith reference. We're gonna move on You like that you like that? Yeah, but there are gonna be some angry people in Utah in Nevada. I'll come with an update But I honestly feel like it's I'm right there. I'm I'm doing well so far Uh, that happens right up until your starter motor fails. Luckily. I replaced that already. What hit me with no What anything that happens right up until your distributor fails doesn't have a You get my point you get the point. I'm yeah, but I thought I was okay. I'll tell you this Ken and I I have a new year's resolution It's still 25 a new year's resolution. None of my big three get into the shop in 26 None in all at 26 the kuntosh the for gt and the career gt none of them go to the shop in 26 Put money on that. No, absolutely not. But that's my goal That's my dream. It's good to have a goal The career gt and the kuntosh will have just had a big service at the end of 25 I'm gonna stretch them until 26 and the for gt I'm have a goal that it doesn't go back in the shop until next fall two years from now unlikely Unlike for gt will be for two years between the last service It is it does you have to get smog next year Uh for the for gt and the career gt needs smog next year But for gt's going back to the shop. Well, no the shop doesn't need to smog the for what do you mean? We just smog it. It's a complete Some of us drive oe cars. Some have modded cars Maybe you have some mods that need to remove the small shop doesn't count the small shop doesn't count my car Passmark not a single both my cars passmark. No problem. Okay next question This is a good one from a j nickle six go to the go to the car pod questions Auto nation illustration on instagram. You saw this. Yeah, they were cool scroll down made Uh some stickers for the crew. Oh, yes. Yes. Yes these Which one is your favorite? I love that one. That is that is me. Did you see these? I did. Yes. I you tagged me on instagram Wow, that's a they're all surprisingly good filipo. It's it is a surprisingly good filipo That I mean the crazy that does capture you with the slr shirt and everything although that one's a coupe not a convertible. Oh, yeah, and uh Yeah, that's it. That's that's your car. Oh, wow. I have a blue check. Yeah, I know Blue check that yeah, he did give you blue checks are expensive. You look into that stuff. No, I got you got a free for it It's like it's not cheap These are great Which is your favorite? I think filipo the filipo really captures the essence of filipo. It's nice to happy That's true. I've never seen it about Related to cars. He cannot be that happy. Yeah, I think that bicycle. Yes Plus he would never open his arms like that and with a smile It's too like he'd have a phone in one hand and slack would be on it. He'd be checking like your clothes really really close Yeah, so that one's that's pretty that one's good. I am that I am that happy every time I'm around that car Oh How sweet I love that car but the crazy niclun. I can't believe he tried to slip that kevin service under our noses Well, I agree. I don't think that counts like you. Well, I wouldn't know. I would just wait until next year I'm calling kevin right at the end of this podcast uh, okay next question from Uh, imperial south ham. This is a great question And I'm curious to get your guys takes but I have the answer sort of question for dug What cars offer a similar x-factor and rawness like your kuntash for people who don't have kuntash money Oh, let's assume a budget of 30 grand. I want to love a car like you love your kuntash I don't know about 30 grand But I will tell you a car that I think provides the exact same level of rawness and excitement is a lot of syspree I think this is not what I expected I think that this car with the v8 now There was a time when they were 30 grand and it wasn't that long ago But they've gotten expensive and the v8 twin turbos, which is specifically what i'm talking about are now maybe 60 to 80 um I nonetheless feel that this is this car is one of the great bargains in the automotive world today It is it still has the wedge. It is still wide and low and flat The sound is immense behind you. It is incredibly analog incredibly raw even though it was made through like 2003 And it is just so damn cool And it's it's it's expensive. It's it's I I'm gonna be clear, but it's not uh, it's not kuntash expensive No, it's not crazy. And of course, I mean it will be expensive to take take care of of course But like that is a probably but so is the kuntash Exoticness to dollar ratio is very high and I still feel that way about the esprit I reviewed on esprit right when we launched cars and bids that sold on the site probably four or five years ago And it was that one. It was that dark red one there for 70,500 and um, and I in that video I made the point that these are kind of bargains for what they are and they've gotten more expensive since then I still feel like they're complete bargains for what they are This car when you see one of these on the road pictures don't really even do it justice You you have to see how low and wide and flat it is it looks like a kuntash It is a serious car. It is it is eye catching. I don't even recall the last time I saw one on the road But when I see that v8 badge that highly stylized v8 And I'll tell you if you ever driven one no no it is raucous the interior is Raucous it is loud and it's like the kuntash even though actually it's a lot newer honestly It's probably easier to own but it has its own challenges But it is fun. It is loud and fast and cool I would pause it when I think of like the alternative to the kuntash the pantera is the one that comes to mind I granted these cars also again, like you said not in the 30,000 dollar range, but they are Crazy crazily styled the rear of the car is just so cool. It's from the similar era as the early kuntashes There's a lot of compromise in terms of the interior much like a kuntash It's not as nice drive as the kuntash, but you get a lot of that crazy vintage exotic When we had this pantera in the office and I was pretty impressed with just how exotic and cool it looks So many people have modded and screwed up panterras over the years a really clean Just like nice simple pantera is a nice nice looking wedge car that does kind of give you the kuntash Like ideal to it. I agree and even pantera themselves kind of screw up this design with the layoffs of the gt5 Yeah, I will say I think it's still kind of cool one thing that is missing from this car that isn't from the From the esprit. It doesn't have the loud like Kind of rawness to it driving it the motor is a little bit smoother than I was expecting that You put us some headers on that you go to seaman get some headers. I'll bet you you can yeah, probably But you get my point like this car is honestly probably better engineered It was a 40 I'm shy expected both of you to say gen one viper. Yeah, yeah, gen one rawness loud raw n35 ish It's too obvious the the other ones I was going to throw out a Shelby cobra replica from like the sixties is very raw has that x-factor is dangerous, etc I was also going to throw out if you wanted something a little bit more modern and a little less attention getting a Ws6 or a termi cobra for about 30 termi cobra gets you a ton of power and presence and Enjoying factor. Yeah, I guess I think yeah And if you just want something to like blow everyone's minds when they see it plimith prowler Yeah That's not that's not wrong. I lose the driving experience to me part of the the beauty of the kuntash experience is the low slung Is the exoticness of it? Yeah, yeah, and that's why I say a spree But yours give yours provide especially the viper provides sort of the rawness the the emotion of it And I do think that that that would be a car that someone could fall in love with if They have an open mind. Yep. I still want one. I still want one at some point Uh, okay next question from parthe smarty. Did nick actually money shift the ttrs or is this just an inside joke folks? We don't joke about money. I joke we don't joke about money shift I'm gonna tell you the story because he's gonna tell you the wrong story. I'm gonna tell you the real story When I met nick he had a ttrs and this was during nick's modding cars days. He He was he was a young man pre kids And uh, he would mod cars when I met the nick the ttrs had gold wheels. It was dropped. It was always, you know and we would we were talking and he kind of explained to me that A year or so before I met him He had sent the engine out to get built because that's what you do. You gotta get built And uh, one day he was after the engine after the car came back and the engine got built Uh, he he he was driving to work And he was getting on an on ramp and he launched it and he accidentally went from you know Fourth to second and meant to hit third. Well, I don't know what it was. I don't know the exact gearing and I don't think he does And uh a money shift to the car blew the motor and after that He drove around in a Camry with no title The only part of that story that's true is the very end of it There was a title somewhere and he just had been lost And florida requires you to go in person to get a duplicate made and of course He's driving around a florida plate camry with no title after he blows up his motor It's a story as old as time it was a modding community A good friend of mine who is active military and so therefore you don't have to change the plates if you are Enlisted and so that was the loophole much like bang energy drinks I'm glad that you have stepped in to correct that part of the story The rest of it is accurate. First of all, the engine was rebuilt because of the motor blowing not before It was sleeved much like your kuntosh to strengthen it Well, the after it after the money shift That's that's how they fixed the fact that the the piston rings melted and Because so you did money shift it. I did not money shift it. I was driving it normally driving normally all the sudden You know the engine's gotta be built. Let's let's it was never money shifted He was driving normally in the sense that he went to third and got first people did that in those ttrs They got money shifted great car. I agree. It's a great car. It's an underrated car. It is now in west virginia, right? As far as I know unless it's sold since then we gotta have been that then look up that Uh, okay, it's it's an inside joke Doug likes to claim the story. It is not He's money shifted at ttrs. You were not there. Oh, let me tell you I'm gonna I'm gonna give you listeners out there who may not have as much experience in the automotive world as I When someone tells you That they were driving a car in some anger and the engine just blew this is not an old car This is a five-year-old car at the time, right? And it's got a manual transmission They money shift it. They don't want to tell you they money shift, huh? That old cast register over here money shifted No such thing we will move on Money shifted to ttrs. Okay next question From tennis pro 6060 Doug, please explain why automakers are still using 12 volt power outlets. Why why why? It's because people still have accessories That use those things and there will be people who including me believe it or not in my sequoia I actually I found a 12 volt that charges the phone like instantly and i'm like married to it I think it's still better than the in-car plugs because they're just not as quick to charge And uh, so believe it or not. I still use a 12 volt myself in that car I'm like that with usba usba I'm not i'm not down with the c don't force it on me like i'm good What what you prefer usb a to c because I got all the a's I got tons of the a's A lot of the outlets got a's and i'm i'm not ready. Okay. Well, that's another example of this um, however My suggestion my suspicion is that this will go away just like cassette players like for years and years automakers had Cassette players and cars even long past when we all were actually using them But some people are still using them and that's true the 12 volt and I think the 12 volt sticks around for more longer than you think Because there are still people who are not willing to give up their their stuff now as more and more cars are starting to integrate Household outlets which is becoming a thing i'm seeing on at least one out of every two cars i'm reviewing I think that will eventually kill the 12 volt outlet, but it'll be still a few more years Uh, okay next question from luke reinoff's The older generation always says to pay for cars and cash newer would say do a little down as possible invest what you could have Uh spent and make up for depreciation. Do you see pros to cons to either boy? I made a video about this years ago and um Man, there are some real people who are just cash only Here's the deal if you can get a sufficiently low interest rate on a loan And you buy and you use it to buy a car that you these are the two caveats in which I think you should finance a car You get a low interest rate and you use it to buy a car that you could have otherwise afforded So you're not using your your financing to stretch into some rolls royce type thing You go to the dealer you could get a Honda, but instead they're offering 1% And so you take them up on that you finance that car, okay? Smart smart money smart consumers smart finance people will do that always There are a lot of people out there who just don't want a car payment I get that it is not the financially smartest thing to do you will not end up on top If you take the money that you would have spent on the rest of the car and invest that money over time You will come out ahead. Uh, you may not come out ahead that year or even with that car But if you do this throughout your life and get 2 interest on every car and Invest the rest you will come out way ahead in the end You probably have an extra car and cash because of all the money that you didn't tie up in cars And so that's what you should do and I cannot wait for the comments to tear me apart and say that buying cash Is the only way to do it because that's what Dave Ramsey says nick. Well, tell me your thoughts £500 off at linkedin.com slash ai hire terms and conditions apply I've got a couple One the average new price of a car. I'm told is 51,500. So buying cash isn't an option now You could buy used. Yeah, however with the used you you do run a risk that the car blows up the day you get it back Right. So like when people are leasing a car, right often the advice is don't put a ton down Right because if you crash it or what have you like you're never getting that back. That's good advice for a lease. So It could maybe go with sketchy purchases and what you get scammed or something that like hey if you finance it then maybe I mean, I do think that there's a middle ground between the type of used car that will blow up the day you buy it And a brand new car There's a lot of used cars in there that you could still finance still get decent interest rates on That are not going to blow up the day you buy it Like a like a two year old accord is a pretty good. That's probably a pretty good buy You got nothing else that's all you lose your take. I don't I guess since we're on the topic of religions A lot of my muslim friends are not big on debt. So to your point, there may be people were just That's true. There's some people and there's some people who just personally just don't want to have debt and I get it But the smart money Is if you can get a low enough interest rate and you're not stretching to afford the car I want I've made this caveat already twice. I'm making it a third time Those are the two really important points here because in today's environment when interest rates are 6% you don't want to do this It is it is a bigger cost. You don't necessarily want to do this or you want to finance less of the car nonetheless, I will say One of the things I'm really sick of with the personal finance crowd Is people who are bragging about how how old their car is and how long they keep their car running You do not understand the safety benefits of getting in more modern car than your 1986 Honda Accord And there are so many people out there who I still drive the same 1993 Honda Accord that I bought new As a point of pride and I don't find it prideful. I think it's I think it's dangerous at this point If if I'm not saying you need to go buy a new a new brand new Volvo But like a three-year-old Honda Accord is not that crazy of a spend and it really will change your life If you get into a serious accident and I guarantee there are people who have gone to the grave proud of their 1993 Honda Accord For the personal finance reasons. Ken and how'd you buy the sl 65 you take out a giant loan? No pay cash But but still like the the thing with it is like Yeah, I think it depends on every everybody's individual situation your level of comfort with that But I think you can be smart about it just It really depends on the car how you're going to use it I do definitely agree with you about the safety thing for people who are doing big commutes In older cars I drive an older car every day my commute is not that far and so it's I'm at a lower level of risk And the e39 is a very safe car. That's a pretty safe car too. So like I'm less worried about it But yeah, I think that year in particular that's people who drive stuff from the 90s every day It is a little bit It can be a little bit by the way, especially if you have children car like yours You can't finance it the lowest the interest rate level that I'm talking about anyway But you also won't have to deal with depreciation so Really you're tying up the money, but it's not as big of a deal And yeah, and the market's also pretty like defined like on cars like those like I could if I I know what an SL 65 is worth I could sell it probably for exactly the same amount if I needed to whatever like it What gets really interesting on new cars is the manufacturers will buy down the interest So you think you're getting like a zero or one percent But they're kind of baking that into the purchase price also like that could have been Potentially what you negotiated off and yeah, which makes this even murkier is like, okay Am I really getting two percent or am I just paying an extra five grand on the car which they're buying down? That's true and it's difficult a lot of sophisticated a lot of unsophisticated people have even sophisticated ones have a hard time Understanding that the real benefit is to try to get a really low rate and negotiate the hell out of the price in the car Which especially in today's environment a lot of cars you can do that Uh, I did jumble on on the slur What what? The slr I know what that is to use ed bullion's herm I financed it Didn't finance it I financed it Okay, next question from palaiko last question dug you claim to listen to more music than almost everyone I really get personal questions on the pod and I appreciate this one This year is wrapping up. What have you in the group been listening to in 25? Oh, we got to hear your spotify top hits already. I listen to more music than anyone. All right. I have in a top 99.9 I've been listening to more than 1% spotify user for years now when spotify rap shows up, which will be in three four weeks here I'll post it again and I will have been again a top user actually. I'm not sure that I will this year because I don't drive as much um But my very favorite band is a band from austin called night traveler and you should go listen to them Nick give us your musical tastes. I don't listen to a lot of music. It's still the driver's era of of music So late 90s early 2000s mostly he left everything on the field in 2004 No effects pennywise Bands like that no use for a name face to face some 41. I've been into a lot lag wagon really you drive around listen to some 41 Yeah, they're good. I mean I'll sort of like that 90s punk sort of vibe I will go into hip hop that like a tribe called quest and things of that effect But the last that era I was in the car with Ken and he had jazz playing steely dan I do also love steely dan. Uh, there are a couple of more modern bands like uh floor you introduced me to I absolutely love floor I think I've bought I still buy a lot of music. I've bought everything they've ever done Uh, and I I listened like when I run they're my favorite like bands listen to I love floor Uh adam dodson is another artist I discovered recently formula one featured him like it was charles la clark driving around the track And it was like it's very peaceful music. I listen to all that too, but jazz I'm a modal jazz person So I'm a big cold train head and I listened to a lot of stuff like that But have you heard the new taylor's fourth album? No pretty I haven't listened to it. It's so catchy Taylor's the best we all love taylor. I to this day Uh, I sing all too well the 10 minute version loudly in the car when I'm driving Did you if you got into that one yet the 10 minute version of all too well? Oh And he's singing for us this hummet photo album on the counter You know, I'm not embarrassed. Uh, okay Uh, we gotta move on. I think we can do one more one more question if there is one more question Yeah, last one, uh cx nine What was the worst downgrade from a particular model from one generation to the next for example e 39 to e 60 or c2 to c3 Uh, those are it That's a bad one That was it. How about any two nsx to the e 38 d 65 was worse than e 30 90 60. That's a great one Um, oh five nsx to the new nsx is pretty although. I like the new nsx, but the o5 was god Well, and there also was you know 15 years. Yeah, but it's that's right if you talk about a third gen nsx That's what you're talking about. Let's see, uh Old defender to new Thought about that I think I wanted to do an exotic car, but s4. How about when they went from the v8 to the super six? Yeah, uh, I don't mind that guy had to support if it was fun c 63 is a tough one the Twin-term of v8 to the new c 63 is one of the great mess ups. Yeah, 993 to 996 Yeah, I mean, I don't agree with that. I love the 996, but a lot of Porsche people would probably would probably support that To be honest, I think that the 993 to 996 transition was an improvement from a driving perspective I still look at 996 turbos a lot. It just there's phenomenal values. I like how they look great with you I I think the 993 is is is so cool and so analog whatever, but like the 996 was faster It's tighter. It's it's it's more stable. It handles better Like it has all these benefits, but the interior is worse and nobody likes how it looks and of course you lose They are cold and so there's a lot of that stuff. I think now I think now it has more of a charm There's a a sub sect of like diehard fans who like the way the 996 looks Some set well It really is the it really is the only 911 that looks really different I think to the other ones like the 993 does look different than the 964 and the g5 before that But the 996 is a dramatic departure and then they the 997 looks more. I mean the market also It's not just the market the market is pretty clear 993 turbos are like 250 and 996 turbos are like 60 and but nonetheless I think the 996 is on a radar. Anyway, what are other cars that really they messed up? How about the s l facelift the one the one the r2? Yeah, they are 30 33 9 that was tough. That was a bad Yeah, but that wasn't as bad as the stuff we're talking about Sinking with the c63. I think that's probably the one to me that in the c2 c2 to c3 I can't think of any other bad ones. Can you any other really? I was trying to figure out what came before the 612 scagglieri and ferrari Hoping it was the 550. It was the 456. It is the 456. So that's not that far ferrari in that four-seater Relating it just sucked the it has always kind of sucked, but it has always gotten a little better Yeah, the the the the the old four-seater stuff was bad and the 400 wasn't exactly great But then it got a little better the 456 and the 612 and the ff Yeah, all those are progressively better cars. Yeah, now that I learned the john tamarian Lamergeini has a v8 and not a v10 the hurricane to tamarian is a little tough Not not the work you we were there for the launch at quill weeks. We saw it. They told us the motor size. Yeah That's what you listen. Hey, how about for you when the explore went from a body on frame with a v8 down to a little Unibody six four-cylinder turbo thing. No, I love the new explorer. I think it's great Uh, those are our answers e3 1865 might actually be the worst one. Yeah, that was a I remember hearing that in o1 Is that the theory was being discontinued was one of the best sales years for the car because everybody saw the new one Although o2 was up sales increased for the e65 But I think time has proven that to be a bad redesign more than anything else Like the o1 is still beloved and an o2 e65 That aztec and those are the same level of common. I mean serious like There are no original e65s everyone you see is a facelift and even then you're not seeing them that much anymore No, that's you don't I got up behind the other day and I thought to myself This is actually leaving the slr party. I thought to myself this is the last time I ever gonna see one of these randomly on the street an 11 335d Wow. Yeah, you don't really see those. I those are great cars. They're cool torque torque Let me ask them they were auto only but I thought to myself. I will never see another one of these randomly I bet it had been years since the last one Yeah, this is it. Yeah, I've yeah, that's a good point. You don't really see that that area dies will be in w much anymore Yeah, and e70s like you don't see x5d's also not generation that much either Yeah, I don't it's harder to know because it's on the side, but that 335d badge I'm like that was a cool car. It gave you like real fuel economy in range, but like pretty good performance to yeah Yeah, uh, okay, that's our pod. You got any parting words here nick No, that's probably ever done go to Kenan's youtube channel six. Oh, thank you. I haven't seen the video yet I'm incredibly excited to do that.
