Well, me too, but for like different reasons. They made the right move. We'll dig into it more. I'm very excited. I will say against all odds, I got to watch because my YouTube TV didn't record it. Against all odds. I woke up at five. I was like, is this on demand yet? Before we get there, I want to check in with you, how you're holding up in this tumultuous time in the summer house universe. I have never watched summer house, but I listened to you and Rachel Lindsay on Morley Corrupt break it down and I now feel educated. So first of all, thank you. Second of all, great podcast. Check it out. Morley Corrupt is a really good episode. There's also a lot of comments already when I was looking, except people have noted it. Rachel, I don't ever on one. Where do you look at? I don't even know where you look at. Spotify. Probably best. I don't. I care. People really loved, loved your survivor song last week. So that's what you call it. Maybe I'll go Rizzo Rizzo for the whole episode. So I just want, so how are you doing today? I think we're like day, day three, three confirmation from Amanda and West. And the absolutely embarrassing joint statement. What an unbelievable, even for me, it was nothing. I'm like, oh, we, we're getting a we from you too. I don't think so. I just don't really understand. Like they both have PR teams. Sure. Like that's not, she's been on TV for like, oh, many years at this point, way longer than him. At least, at least eight. But I mean, he's also like, he works for complex. He like has other jobs where does he actually have a job? Like, do you think he actually works? What does he do for them? I think he like writes and stuff. Also, he definitely like has to do content for them. He does content all the time. Okay. Like on his social media. Like sports content. No, I think it's on their page too. Like he does interviews. Okay. So he's much like us. He's a content creator. E sure. How many eyes did this see before they posted? Like it's perplexing. It's been the whole situation bends my brain. I don't understand this joint, the joint statement is awful. Nowhere in this statement does it apologize to Sierra or Kyle, the guy who's married to Amanda, which like, I don't feel that bad about Kyle, but still, Kyle's capitalizing. So he's fine. I saw he did a long TikTok video yesterday. So. But still it's like no apology. Like it's almost like they are in their own world. And I can't understand why separately. I can't understand why West would allow a joint statement knowing he's fucking so many other people. That's been pretty wild to watch all these other women being like over here, here in Chicago, here in New York, like I was with West. Here in Montana. Yeah. Like, did you think they weren't going to come out? He probably thinks so little of them that he's like, even if they do, who cares? Like that's probably what he thinks. I think the only thing I could possibly put together is that he thought he could get to them first and be like, it's all for publicity. It's all for the show. It's all for, you know what I mean? The fact that you guys shared on the pod I wasn't aware of that one of the women said that she made him a tie that he wore on Watch What Happens Live. Like, that is galling. That's like, that's crazy. He said her name. Oh my God. He shouted her out on Watch What Happens Live for the tie. Oh my God. The other women pissed or more like be mused? The woman with the tie apparently has been off and on with West for two years. Oh my God. And more recently she told him like, I don't want to do this anymore. Like we need to be exclusive. And apparently he supposedly was like, okay. So he's a yes man. That's the tie girl. That's what he's doing. That's the tie girl. And she's pissed. Her last post on social media is like, she's at a No Kings protest. And it's like, raging against all men with small hands. Horrible, mere moral compasses and loser tendencies. That's awesome. Thanks to say she's not happy. Sierra liked that post yesterday. Oh my God. That's amazing. I saw that Sierra blocked Amanda and West. But can we go back to the statement for a second? I don't think that's an appropriate form in which to apologize. So I don't really have like a problem with that. I think like acting like they're going through some kind of loss or they're like suffering. Like we're processing this in real time, like whatever they said is so lame. And just like, I don't know. But I think that what they should have done is just confirmed it to like people. I'm just like, yep, give people a statement. Don't use your Instagram. Like you've done enough damage there. I don't know. I guess it's a note to all reality TV stars. No more statements on your Instagram story. Well, what's even crazier is she just put out a joint statement with Kyle like two months ago. Right. She's a joint statement queen. So embarrassing. The joint statement, it being joint horrible, they both were wrong for different reasons. So I feel like these could be two separate statements. If you're going to put a statement out on Instagram, I think the overall tone of the message of the statement or joint statement, whatever the fuck you're putting out, should be one of like, we are sorry. Contrition. So many people. Yes. Instead of being like, we understand that because we're on reality TV, people care about our lives. That's not the problem here. No. It's definitely not. Like people care about your life because you're on reality TV. People are upset because of your choices. So it has nothing to do with you being on reality TV. And it sounds like everyone liked her until this basically. Yeah. I feel like everyone was kind of like okay with her. And then this season, everyone was like championing her because Kyle has been such an asshole. The problem is, is now it's like, maybe Kyle was right. Maybe Kyle should have been worse. Well, I heard what Olivia said in the group chat on your podcast. Same. Maybe she is a dumb bitch. That is an indictment. Very tough stuff. Very tough. Very tough. By the way, she said that before any of this came out. I will never cross Olivia. I hope Olivia never says about me. Maybe she is a dumb bitch. That's a tough. She was like, how do we know Kyle's wrong? It seems like Kyle's right. I think Olivia, which now I'm like, yeah, she was right. Olivia was very annoyed with every season. It's Amanda being like, poor me. Kyle treats me so badly. And Olivia is like, he's always been this way. Like, since the beginning, he has talked you terribly, treated you terribly, stayed out till 5 AM, cheated on you multiple times on this show. You chose to marry him. So at what point is it your fault? Yeah. I can't have a pity party for you every fucking season. Everyone, you knew what you were signing up for is Olivia's message. Yes. Do you think Summer House survives this? Like, first of all, will you continue watching this season? I will continue watching this season, but I have to say, it sucked to watch Tuesday. And people who listen to me podcast know how much I love Summer House. I felt like the entire episode, I was just like, at one point, Sierra talked about how she bought her dad's parents' house, her grandparents' house. And I don't think she has a very close relationship with her dad's family now. She did with her grandparents, and she bought it from his siblings. And I think it was like in North Carolina. I don't know where though, I should find out where. And I think it was like a hard process for her because like, she's buying something from family, they want more money, you know how that works. Like, you're trying to low ball us, whatever. She finally gets the house. She's talking about it on the show very happily. And then Mia, her friend who, thank fuck, is there, is like, wait, this is a huge deal. Like, we don't need to just brush over this. This was very hard for Sierra. This was a goal of hers, and she was able to do it. She bought her first house, blah, blah, blah, whatever. And Sierra like starts crying, like just talking about her family. While she's crying, Amanda's like, I know it was so hard for Sierra. Oh my gosh, I am so proud of you. And I just wanted to be like, shut the fuck up. Like, you're not her friend, and you weren't going to say anything until Mia said something. It's crazy. You know what I mean? It's crazy. Yeah, you guys said this on the pod. It's one thing, I think you said this in particular. It's one thing if you are like, fuck, I think I like this guy, like we accidentally made out, maybe there's more there and like you come clean, but it sounded like they were just like really deceitful for like a long period of time. They just kept lying. It's bizarre. Kept lying. By the way, the only reason why I think they even ever said anything was because they got caught. Oh yeah. Here are my two questions for you. Number one, like everyone was into Morley Kraft. Number one, how did they get caught? Like what was the, what was the smoking gun? There's like a bunch of stories online and I will say, boosts on the ground or in my DMs. I've gotten voice notes. I've gotten recordings. Wow. People say them in New York. Just of people recounting stories of things that have happened. Got it. The timeline is very shaky. No one knows when this started. People are starting to think it started last summer, which was really, really suck. I'm not sure if I want to jump that far. I, I, I, I'm trying to give them any benefit of the doubt that they can. And I, I'm just like, even Kyle and his 10 minute sidewalk talk with his dog and about a time like attacked two people and shit on him. It was pretty, pretty funny. Even said like he's kind of confused about stuff from last summer. So that's not great. But, um, supposedly. Sierra saw Amanda's location at West's apartment very early in the morning. One, one morning. This was like a few weeks ago. I think like probably a right, right after Super Bowl-ish around that high period beginning of March. And I know Dave Portnay. No one asked to hear from you on this. Just keep it moving. Keep going. I'm not a fan, but his beach, um, TikToks were funny to me. I just, I just saw the like no idea what's going on. I just saw him being like chicken fried. Told me that this is Super Bowl. I'm like, okay, we got it. Yes. After he said that, he like went live and was like, I didn't know what I was posting was a big deal. Now chicken fry is on me. She also told me that Tom Brady's fully dating Alex Earl. So there's that. And then like the next post is Briana chicken fry being like, if anyone is around Dave Portnoy, please take his phone. I just thought the whole back and forth. I do enjoy the Portnoy chicken fry dynamic in general, but yeah, Dave Portnoy didn't need you involved. Okay. Okay. So keep going. No. Sierra saw that's one piece of smoking gun. Supposedly this is how it happened. She saw the location. She texted Amanda and asked like what's going on. Supposedly Amanda took 15 hours to respond and said we're just, uh, we are just friends. And, and Sierra was like friends hook up. And Amanda was like, West and I are only friends. Sierra, then supposedly someone got a picture through West's window, which is, Oh yeah, we talked about this. And say earlier. Yeah. Yeah. But apparently it's true of Amanda in his apartment, either naked or in her underwear. Also, why are you taking that picture? Side note. That's like really sick. Okay. So whoever took the picture has not distributed it. So at the very least they know like I'm not sending this around. Thank God. The only reason why it's even anything is because Sierra asked for this person to send it to them, send it to her. And she said, no, she was like, I can't send this. I'm not sending this. And so Sierra met up with this person and saw the picture herself. Okay. Well, I'm grateful that West's neighbor is not distributing porn of Amanda. Yes. So at least there's that. Unknowingly. Unknowingly. Yeah. Still at this point, West and Sierra had, or West and Amanda had not told Sierra. Once they had found out that people had, like there's so many accounts of people seeing them in LA together, seeing them at a restaurant, seeing them kiss, seeing them hold hands. LA or New York or boss? LA. Yeah. They were in LA. Saw Jesse Solomon, saw them, or Jesse Solomon told somebody like a few days ago, like there was just so many things like amounting. I know the rumors were out there. Portland, I wasn't the only one who's known since the Super Bowl, but like, do you think the whole cast has known for a while? I think that the cast found out in the past like six days. I see. Okay. And, and Sierra probably had more evidence earlier to think it, but she saw the picture in the past week. So like, that's what like really confirmed it. I see. Okay. And apparently multiple cast members have come out and said, when the rumors were like swirling, they asked Amanda and Wes and they were told it is not true multiple times. All right. These people are just, they're out. They're out of the frying group. We can't trust them. They're lying. It stinks. Yeah. Multiple people have unfollowed them. Sierra blocked them. People are upset about it. Kyle's worried about Amanda's mental health. Here's my thing, guys. There's no reason to go on her pictures and comment things that are like death threats, all of that. I'm, I just, I'm, I'm like completely against that. Of course. Unless you're like someone killings, babies, you know what I mean? Like go on Trump's Instagram, feel free, say whatever you want to him. I don't care. Don't interrupt survivor again. That's my message. Yeah. But like a reality starts cheating with her friend, or not even cheating, hooking up with her friends, acts, whatever, not caring about the whole race element of it all. Like all that's fucked up. I don't think she needs to die. Like everyone needs to relax. But to be clear, I don't think so either. I laughed. It's a different person. Yeah. It's ridiculous. But Amanda was not worried about Sierra's mental health when she continued to lie to her. Amanda was not worried about her own mental health when she continues to make horrible decisions. Yeah. Life decisions. At some point you have to grow up. And if you want to make a grown up decisions, then you're going to have to deal with grown up consequences and accountability. Is this how you talk to your children? I love it. Yeah. My four year old sometimes. And I, like, you know, again, I don't want her to have dark quote unquote dark thoughts like Kyle said, but I do want her to reevaluate her decision making because it's horrific. It's straight ahead. And earlier we talked, and by the way, West too. West is just gross. I'm just thinking about all the women he's having sex with right now because like obviously he's not just like hanging out with like Ty girl and whoever else. And it's just gross. Men are so, so gross. Yeah. The problem is the expectation for men is so low. And I do feel that. Especially from women. I mean, this is really getting like hammered. I could she portray her friend. But West like West deserves equal energy, I would say. I just think, I just think I don't know if it's equal energy because I do have higher expectations for women. And as you and I talk about all the time on this show, women friendships are so fucking important. Yeah. They get you through the world. So to betray that and at this age, like this isn't a 20 year old, like a 20 years old. So glad you're bringing this up. I love when you have these like arbitrary age cutoffs that in your head, you're like perfect logic like under 27, cheating doesn't matter over 27. I think it's 25. I've really narrowed down to 25 being like a big change. I just think at 18, you're young, dumb and selfish. You're a friend of love. So point. Not that. Yeah. Yeah. You got to grow up. Yeah. I mean, I'm with you. They're these two people, they really stink. So back to my question. Can summer house survive this? Like Banner Pomp and Rose. I think summer house couldn't survive it. Couldn't survive. I just stand a ball. Don't think it's going to look the same. I don't know if West and Amanda can come back to the summer house. Is it I asked you this on Monday but I forget the answer. Is Amanda on In the city? She is. Right. She's the only one. Well her and Kyle. Right. Sierra is not West. I would love for Sierra to completely skyrocket from this. But I think that takes some time. like Ariana was on the next season of Ander Pump. I think that she should be on the next season to Summer House. I think Wes and Sierra should not be on. I, I just can't, Amanda, all of this for this guy is just crazy to me. Yeah. Oh yeah. I mean, I don't know him, but he sounds like just kind of like a regular guy. Doesn't sound that special. He doesn't. Yeah. It's no wrong. It's not like throwing your life away for that. It's not Rob. Also like, Also Rob wouldn't do that is what I think. Yeah. I just, I, it's really, really disappointing from Amanda and from Wes it's more expected. So I feel like that's why the heat is so much lower for him. I don't understand how he's gaining followers. Like who's following him? I don't get it. Well, that's what I was going to say is like the way to punish someone like Amanda, if you feel you need to punish her, it's to unfollow her. It's to take away like what she can monetize. Like that's the only way that people like really feel pain. She has lost followers and people are going ham in her comments. Wes has gained like 50,000. Probably cause people are like, who is this guy? Like who is this new magic dick that we got to talk about? Like it's so weird. It's so weird. As, as I believe I said on Monday, he's not even that cute. You guys explained that he's very charming and charismatic. So I, I, I didn't doubt that. Which is how he got into this pickle. Like he is very charming and charismatic. That's another part of dating in your 30s, right? Like a lot of great guys are married cause women have sussed that out. The sort of like great guy pool is much smaller. And you just sort of like, you get tricked. You just say that maybe you could change them. Maybe you are the one like, you know, there's just a lot of, I, you know, that there's just not a lot of great options. So that's probably, and then I think for him, and Rachel made this point really clearly, like he's never had this kind of attention before like working at like, being like a complex content creator. And he's not the same as like also being on summer house. No shots. No, no, no. He's gotten so much more attention in the past two years than he ever has in his life. I just like the, the, the race element of all of it, like as a human, I'm a man to have a crush, have a crush on West, never act on it. It's not that hard. And the big thing to me is like, you're in New York. There's so many men, like there's so, and so many men. So many men like West. Like there's so many people of that mold. Better. Yeah. But I'm just like, it's like, he's a New York type, right? Like you could find so many interchangeable. Kyle. He is Kyle. 10 years earlier. I don't, I, the, it's the amount of access that Amanda has to men. I wouldn't be mad at her if, again, she made out with him, made a mistake, told Sierra and was like, oh my God, I'm so dumb. I'm done hanging out with him. Like, I think I have a dumb crush on him. He's funny, whatever, whatever. I'm not saying her and Sierra would still be like as close as they were. You can get through that and she could recognize she's stupid and like make better choices. Sure. I just can't imagine being like, yeah, I'm going to double down on this. Also, she must get a thrill out of the sneaking around, honestly, it's one of the only things I can, I can also add to this from the information I have is like, if she's like, you know, lying about her location and shit, like there must be some level of like, or you know, lying. She's like, yes, that's my location, but like here's what I was doing. There must be some element where she's like enjoying the deceit. So. Totally. I would just be like, sneak around with another married man. Not your best friends, ex, blah, blah, blah. Although, you know, that's not great either. I shouldn't be saying that. There just, there has to be another way to get a thrill. It has to, you know. I agree. I don't know, just do drugs for a week, just and then stop. Don't have a drug addict, but you know, there's plenty of plays to be a thrill seeker. It's not pretty. Yeah. My last question for you. You guys referenced Paige quite a bit and her weighing in. Where has Paige been weighing in and when? Is it like from when she was on the show still, or is this like she talking about on Giggly Squad? Like how was Paige? When she was on the show, after the whole West Sierra fallout, she was very anti-West. I see. Like she was like, West used you, he sucks, blah, blah, blah, whatever. And she was right. Got it. Noted. Paige hasn't really weighed in that much. She had an episode of Giggly Squad drop yesterday, but they, they didn't, She's really distanced herself from the show. Yeah. They didn't head on address it. She has like made comments here and there, like Sierra did the carpet for friends and neighbors. And she was like gorgeous, stunning, perfection. That was after all this came out. She was clearly supportive of Sierra. I do think in general, Sierra is much closer to Paige than Amanda. Got it. Okay. And I think a big part of that is just because nobody really likes Kyle. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Certainly not Hannah Burner. So. Right. Okay. We talked about this at the end of December last year. Who do you think is the most appealing man on Bravo? We said that we thought Craig had the most like star power and the most like influence. Given all of this, and after this season of Southern Charm, the breakup of Paige, now where we are with Summer House, who do you think a lot, a lot, a lot has happened to, yeah. To, so two questions here. Who's the most appealing man on Bravo and who is the most powerful man on Bravo? I think I'll just say, let's take Wittner out of this. Cause he's like probably the most appealing, but like does he even count? He's like barely on the network. I don't know if Wittner is appealing or as appealing as he was a month ago. Sure. It's hard. That's tough. Is it KJ? I don't, I'm not familiar, but he sounds like a good guy. KJ like could not be better. Okay. So he's the most. I don't want him to disappoint me. So I'm trying to tread lightly, but I find him very attractive. Everything he says, like he just has a ton of emotional depth. He also only had sisters and has spent a lot of time around women, which sorry, someone DM'd me and made a really good point about West. Rachel and I have talked a lot about how he surrounds himself with black people, black men, not a lot of black women. And I was like, that's a really good point. I saw that your conversation about how he basically exploits black culture and black people was really important and really interesting. Yeah. So anyways, back to KJ on a brighter note. Yeah, he's so attractive. He has a girlfriend that he is so in love with and how he talks about her is like so cute. Really, really like KJ, but I just don't think he's been on Bravo long enough. He definitely doesn't have like any power. So, but he is appealing. Okay. But so he's the most appealing. Who do you think? I think he's most appealing. Power. I mean, I still crack. Is he still crack? Probably. Yeah. It's definitely not Austin. I don't want to say his star is rising. No. I feel like he's just retreated. Treated, yeah. I think he's chip out a lot hard last season. I think he wanted to take a backseat this season. But even this season with everyone against Craig, like the show moves with Craig. I know. Like it is what it is. That raspy voice moves the needle. I think even Austin knows. And that's part of his annoyance. Like Austin's like, I'm the one that's friends with all these people. I'm the one that's nice to all these people. Why is it Craig? Like, I don't know what to tell you, boss, but it's Craig. Unfortunately, Craig also has these successful businesses. Like Trap Pop has done nothing, but Craig has got like, you know, sewing down south and all the other shit he does. Like he's doing stuff. I'm trying to think of back any other shows. Like The Valley doesn't have anybody. Vanne-Rubber-Rolls, I don't know. Oh, you know what? People find what's his name from The Valley really attractive to. Janet's husband, Jason. Jason. Okay. Yeah. So he's appealing. All right. Yeah. Okay. We'll keep coming back to this question. We'll be tracking it. Let's switch gears. Let's talk about survivor. Okay. Let's, ah, a happier topic. Blood moon. I have to say, I was delighted to hear from Tiff. After not getting to hear from her at all last week, thank you for showing her. And one of the main- It's not enough. No, not enough at all. But one of the main things I wanted to note, Tiff and Genevieve. I don't speak French. I know it'll like, I'll understand it a little bit, but whenever I say the name, Genevieve, I think of it in French, I don't know if you have. Anyway, anyway, Tiff and Genevieve. I loved how they wore their buffs as like mini mouse bows on top of their heads. Did you notice that? I just loved it. I needed to note it. It was my favorite thing from the episode. Favorite thing from the episode? Yes, it was. I took note and I really appreciated it. I was like laughing. I mentioned this at the top of the pod. Colby got the send off as if he's like going out to sea and we will never hear from him again. I assume Colby will not be on the show again. Well, who knows? Maybe incorrect assumption, but it was sort of like, it was like this like decades long reflection. And like, I don't know. I'm sure they talked about many other things, but the edit made it seem like it was just like Colby opining on his past. And it was absurd considering like how little we've heard from some of the people on the show so far. I was fine with it because of the group. Because Serene and the coach were there? Yeah, like them having to send him off, I feel like. I mean, it's a pretty star stud group. There's a reason why they got more attention than some of the other groups. Sure. Do you think it was the right move? No. I think the right move is not even being discussed. Serene is running the game. Serene is running. Oh, obviously. Like, obviously, but I would have jumped through this screen and cut someone's throat. So that's not what I want. But you're correct. That would have been the right move. Serene has two different alliances right now. Like Serene and Dee and someone else, so I can't remember. Riz God. And Riz God. Well, there's like, Dee thinks she's in with Serene. But then there's the real trio that I think could go to the end of Serene, Ozzie, and Riz God. They have two idols among the three of them. Serene. Extra vote. The extra vote. Serene made an excellent suggestion to Ozzie of like, take Riz God because she loves him. But the idea that you could just shoehorn them with like, I'm taking the one guy we don't know anything about is so genius. Like, Serene must have also realized that we just haven't gotten to see it. She must have realized that not only does she really like Riz God, but the fact that he's an unknown, she can really use to her advantage. Her benefit, yeah. And I just, I obviously love it. I just cannot believe this is happening. I cannot believe these talented players have allowed Serene to like run this game so far. Like, the edits trying to make us think it's Christian, but it's really Serene. I mean, no, no, no. Right now it's Serene. And what's even more impressive is that the target on Christian is so much bigger than on Serene. I've not heard a single person be like, oh, we should get it out Serene since Dee said it like, in episode two. But yeah, and now she loves Serene, so she starts off the table for her. Um, what a fucking place for Riz God. He's like, I have Serene and Ozzie looking at me. And I know Riz God's very high on himself. I can't why. I would be too. Yeah. If I had Serene and Ozzie eating out of my fucking hand, I, I, send me home today. I have one. Honestly, Ozzie's success so far this season is like so confusing to me. I'm just like, he's not even playing that good of a game, but I guess people just like really revere him. And like, he's so earnest. Well, one, he gives them a lot of food. And I do think that that, and they've, they're not showing it, but I think that's honestly helping him a lot. Yeah. That's why I chose Jonathan too. They're not going to go behind each other's backs for one vote. New kids will vote with their enemy just to get through one vote. Right. And she's like, that's probably the way to go. She's. I thought this, but while watching it last night, he goes to the whole menu and then he's like, and don't forget dessert. I was like, is he about to unveil a whole other fucking platter of desserts? And he did it. He described it instead. And I was like, why didn't the dessert get a feature? That's a great question. Maybe Applebee's could provide the apple caramel strudel, whatever, plus their rum drink that they have. Oh my God. I can't imagine not much as Applebee's paying us for this. Not enough, OK, zero dollars. I can't imagine barely eating for I think they said it was 12 days. And then like eating your body's weight in Applebee's, like you have to feel so sick after that. Like how do you function? Not me. That sounds like right at my alley. I do that all the time. You would throw up. I'm surprised they don't barf, especially with the alcohol.
