So, without further ado, let's start the show. Happy listening. welcome back to the exorcist files the show where we tell demons where they can go i won't say the word but you know what i'm thinking today we welcome to the show a very sobering very powerful very interesting discussion you're not going to want to miss and with me today is rian swigler which i'm probably not going to pronounce correctly and adele vraie hopefully i pronounced that correctly not only do they sound like characters straight out of lord of the rings their stories are even better than tolkien's book they are former satanists and they're here to talk about their conversion to the good guys aka the jedi aka god's team without further ado i'm going to turn it over rian could you give yourself an introduction that is worthy of it because i'm not going to be Sure. So my name is Reem Svigelor. Firstly, I probably need to say that I am by no means worthy of anything. I'm here because of God's grace. It's all because of Jesus. But I was once the founder and leader of the first satanic church in South Africa, called the South African Satanic Church. I was also involved with the occult and the holistic industry for 15 years prior to that. So in all in all, I worked for the devil for 20 years of my life. And I had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ, an in-person encounter that completely transformed my life. And for the last almost four years, I've been serving the Lord. I've been in ministry now for two years with Adele. We've got a ministry called Deliverance Hub. So that is me in a nutshell. Awesome. Thank you for being here and welcome to the team. And Adele, I know, you know, in case there's any doubt for those who are not watching the show, it's not Adele the singer, but even more impressive. Because Adele, this Adele can sing as well, but is also filled with the gifts of the Spirit. So Adele, can you give us a little bit of your background as well? Yes, I come from generational Satanism. And at the age of 19, I kidnapped a prophet, a pastor's son in South Africa. The boy was nine years old. And that is in that encounter that I met Jesus and it changed my life. So I've been saved for, I think, more than 30 years now and love Jesus. I'm married. I have three children. I have grandchildren. I have a lot of pets. I have a pet sheep. So there's just so much going on. But I love ministry. And we also have, as Rian said, we have the MBO and we provide training on things like deliverance because we believe that any believer should be able to do deliverance. It's not just for us. And there is a lot of people who think that we are the only ones knowledgeable enough to help them, but everyone can do that. So we know it's possible. And we just want to see people experience the love and the grace and the freedom that only Jesus Christ can provide. Amen. Yeah, and you have a sheep. For those who doubt, we get constant barrages of emails and letters saying, you know, a genuine ask, genuine inquisition about, hey, is this real? How do you know that all this stuff is robbing demons and witches and a cult? It just seems so far-fetched. But for the skeptic out there, and I ask each one of you perhaps you could share a story or just an account of this, why should people take this seriously? Well, I have seen so many things. And I think faith in Christ and the belief that God does not exist, atheism, both, demands faith in something. Either it's in God like there's something or in nothing. It demands an action, a faith that there is nothing. And regardless on which part of the line you are or the border you are, these things are real. And I think there's more than enough witnesses to point in the right direction. When people question my testimony or Rian's testimony, I actually tell them that they should be privileged to not live the life that we've had. So if they don't want to believe, really, they're not missing out on anything because the kingdom of Satan is really overrated because God has just so much more depth and glory and things to discover. But if people don't want to believe, you can't make them believe. but they can be thankful that they didn't have a life where they had to experience something like the paranormal or demons or you know the supernatural rian i know you've mentioned that you've had experienced tarot cards psychics you know crystal i mean it seems like you've kind of run the gamut of that you know we've had case files that profile that stuff but in a nutshell what's your experience of that stuff is it does it yield results so here's the thing for like Like I said, that long period of time where that was my full-time career, I actually thought I was helping people. I actually thought in the years, the thing about that is that many people in those industries really have good hearts. So they have good intentions, they have good hearts, but they are deceived. And during the time where I was, you know, a shaman and where I was working as a psychic medium and I was doing redshelves for clients, I saw lots of results. because there is results. There is instant gratification, but it always comes at a price down the line. So I often say that the devil always comes to cash his check at the end of the day. The devil always comes for his pound of flesh. And whether you are involved in the New Age or the occult or the holistic industry or Satanism, that is the case. And I remember during my own deliverance, which was about a nine-month period where I had to go for 10 different sessions in a nine-month period after I came to Christ. So around about the middle of that, halfway through, my illegal connection that I had to the spirit world for 20 years was severed. So I realized that God doesn't actually want me to have that connection. And just over two years ago, when it was very apparent and clear, because there was so much confirmation that God is calling me into full-time ministry, the one thing I say to God that I want before I take that step is to see whether what I've experienced and seen in terms of the spirit world, and so now I'm talking about, you know, seeing spirit guides and people's ancestors and seeing results in that industry. And if that is actually accurate and real, I wanted to know, and I wanted God to show me that. So after five days of intense prayer and fasting, I remember becoming almost very despondent, and I became desperate. So I fell on my bed that day, and I cried out to God, and I said, God, if you really want me to go into ministry, show me the spirit world. Show me what it really is. And I almost regretted it instantly because God removed the veil between the physical and the spirit just for about two minutes. And those things and those results, as you asked the question, and what I've seen and witnessed, and what was portrayed to me as spirit guides and even angels at times, etc., was demonic all along. So it was demons masquerading as these beings. And the spirit world isn't something that is on another dimension. It is actually around us all the time. And I understand why God does not want or allow us to see the spirit world all the time, because we will not be able to cope with that. But I can say that the spirit world is very real. Demons are very real. And for somebody that's not, let's address this issue for someone that's maybe not, that doesn't believe in that. So if we look at the world today, if we look at humanity. Now, as Christians, we know that every person on this earth is created by God. Every person on this planet is created in God's image, in God's nature. So is it in our godly created nature to murder people, to abuse animals? Is that in our godly nature or is something else influencing people to do that? So let me leave that question there. So I want to start, you hinted a little bit at your start. I'd like to get each of your journeys and how you eventually intersected. Could you set the table a little bit with, there is a distinction between the official, I think the Church of Satan as it's organized in the United States and it's known, and then other sort of satanic activities, and then perhaps even people who are involved in activities which may be associated with Satan, but actually be completely unaware of it. The Church of Satan, which a lot of people will see as the umbrella, really, of Satanism as a religion. So if we take it in contents of, let's say you have a big church body globally or movement. So the Church of Satan that was founded in the 60s by Anton LaVey would be that umbrella, because what he did is he codified Satanism in a book as a dogma, right? But that is not all that Satanism is. So not every organization that is satanic or a satanic cult organization falls under the church of Satan. So that is the, if you want to call it the first or original form of Satanism. And then devil worship precedes that. Obviously, I mean, I'm talking about centuries ago. You already had devil worship. But the Church of Satan and Satanism as a formal, organized, codified religion was Antoinette Church of Satan. Then from there, you had different organizations who split off, and even some of his children started similar organizations. and it will still fall under atheistic Satanism. But then you also get spiritual Satanism. You also get Luciferianism. So you get various, if you want to call it dogmas, in Satanism. And then globally, there is, from what I remember in my time, because I was at the leadership of a satanic organization in this country, So we connected with other satanic organizations around the world at least twice a year online for kind of, you know, symposiums and conferences to discuss the satanic agenda, etc. But what I can say as well is that Satanism has changed immensely in the last 20 years. So the problem we see in the body of Christ at the moment and in Christian churches is many people who teach on the Ukkot and many people who teach on Satanism, they're still teaching from the satanic panic era. So they're still teaching from the 80s, from the material that was available, etc. But the fact is that Satanism has changed a lot. And it is because of social media. It is because of the internet. The way that people connect at the moment is very different than 20 years ago. In terms of the satanic calendar and in terms of certain hideouts and stuff, globally there's two days that correspond with people or Satanists and some people who consider themselves occultists and maybe not Satanists, they practice certain rituals. That even gets synced with the time zones. But then month to month, most satanic covens and grottos practice their own forms of rituals. In the Old Testament, we read about a famous judge known as Samson. Now, Samson had superhuman strength and awesome hair uncut from his Nazarene bow. Now, God gave him this strength, but there's another assumption we can make, and that is he probably had excellent collagen levels. So speaking of collagen, there are a few things I do every day. So there's various forms and if you want to call it paths in Satanism. At the end of the day, though, it comes down to devil worship. And this is the thing that many people who get involved in Satanism don't actually know. The moment you get involved in Satanism to a degree where there's initiation ritual, the devil and the demonic becomes very real. And many Satanists, and I was certainly one of them that was a spokesperson for organization, will tell you that no, Satanists don't really believe in the devil. It's an archetype. It represents a way of life. Whereas as once you are involved in Satanism and you go beyond a certain point, there's no denying it. The problem, though, and this is what we see in our ministry a lot, because we help people to get out of the occult and Satanism. And we are contacted frequently by people who really want to get out of the occult and Satanism, but they believe this lie that they've sold their soul to the devil, which is impossible to begin with because your soul doesn't belong to you. But what we also have to understand as Christians, as followers of Christ, is that Satanists do not actually know that Jesus is an option for them. Okay. I wanted to double click on that because what is interesting to me is enough people grow up. They've heard of the concept of God and the devil. And so why is it, and Adele, let me start with you. Someone has some encounter or interaction with individuals who are either demonstrating some satanic power or just involved in some sort of satanic community. Wouldn't that immediately, I would think you would go, oh, well, if he's real, then God must be real. And based on all the stories, I don't know anyone who has heard the story that he's more powerful. So why are people getting snagged into this? And maybe, I know you mentioned this was a generational thing for you, but why do people even buy into that? Because I would think the second they learn that he's real, they would go, oh, well, God must be real too. Yeah. But Rian usually say that an open door is never marked 666. So it's never obvious. And if sin wasn't nice to do it, sin wasn't fun, no one would do it. and when people get involved it's never usually with the intention that they are going to get involved with the devil and the devil's work usually it is very subtle or it is things that like rian talks also about i mean doing crystal healing even after he met jesus he didn't know that there was something wrong with that like the holy spirit had to convince him that it was wrong because he had good intentions and he was helping people. And that is a very good example of how people are very subtly pulled into something. And before they know it, they realize that they are surrounded by death and forces and destruction. Or even if they don't know about it, the Holy Spirit has a way of, you know, revealing himself, like Jesus revealed himself to certain individuals and, you know, they meet him. But it's never obvious. Very few people will tell you that they've made a decision for destruction and they're going down that path. People in general don't self-destruct automatically. And we have to remember that the enemy is the father of lies. How much should you lie to be known as the father of lies? And if he can lie to people and with lies comes deception. So the lie and the deception go together. People are deceived. People are blind. People don't hear God's voice anymore. And people also, when it comes to the reality of who God is, we have to know and realize that this world is desensitizing people for the supernatural. and the church or the body of Christ is not saying is not doing as much to show the world that there supernatural power Like I always say that if my children go to church on a Sunday night and people are getting healed and delivered and, you know, like all the things that we are supposed to experience as Christians, No one will be able to recruit them for Satanism on a Monday morning because they've experienced the power of Jesus Christ. And the enemy is going full blast with the power that there might be for people, and he's disguising it as life. And the church is not running after the power. You know, this is not a church conversation, but it's like people are comfortable and they are lukewarm and they compromise. And that is exactly what the enemy wants from the church because he's capitalizing on it. And we also have to understand nobody becomes a Satanist overnight unless they were born into Satanism. So unless we're talking about generational Satanism. But a person like myself, for instance, I didn't wake up one morning after I left the Christian church in 2001 because I grew up in the Christian church, etc. But I didn't leave the Christian church 23 years prior. And then overnight, I became a Satanist. That's very rarely how it happens. And I've met thousands, literally thousands of Satanists in my life. And most of them, it wasn't a decision overnight. It's either like severe church hurt or there has mostly been some type of path or journey down the occult, starting with very supple things. And then from my experience, you get about 20 to 30% of Satanists who were born into Satanism, meaning generational Satanists. But now that number is increasing, you understand, because you have more Satanists at the moment having actual children that are now born into Satanism. So, unfortunately, we will see a rise in the numbers of generational Satanism. Rian, what was your journey and how were you snagged and how were you deceived into the kingdom of darkness? And then ultimately, how did God pull you out? so like I said I very much I grew up in Christian church in the 80s both my parents were the Christians went to Sunday school I even after I finished high school I went over to a more apostolic church and I got baptized again as an adult I started with seminary school I was very much devoted to the church. I was very involved in religion. So I can definitely say I didn't know God and I didn't know Jesus, but I knew the Bible exceptionally well. So because of certain things that happened at the church and the way certain people were treated, I was completely disillusioned by it. And I actually thought, if this is God, then this is not what I've signed up for. So at the age of 22, I then left the Christian church. I left seminary school. I started looking for God in other places. So after a six-month period of going to Buddhist centers, going to Buddhist retreats, going to Hare Krishna temples, I went to a mosque at one stage. I went into transcendental meditation. I remember at one stage as well. But I found my way to a holistic center, and I had a reading done. So this was my first experience with going to a psychic. And because of what that psychic said to me that day, I thought, well, yes, I am supposed to help people. I always had a heart for people. But according to what she said, it wasn't in the conventional churchy type of way. So within a year, I started doing readings myself. And I remember still when I purchased my first deck of tarot cards. Suddenly, it just seemed very natural to me and I could interpret this. And you see, here's the thing. Because the enemy corrupts a lot of things. What a lot of people don't understand as well is that information is so accurate because it's given to you by familiar spirits that observe people their whole lives. So from there, I ventured into more of the healing modalities. I started training in Reiki. I did a crystal healing full course, like I did three modules. I also went through a period of training to be a traditional healer. And in 2010, I was initiated as a traditional healer. and soon after that I opened my own business I opened my own shop where I sold muti and I sold medicine and charms and spell jars and I did rituals for clients and consultations like every day that was my life from the the moment I woke up in the morning till I went to bed and in 2015 one of my clients actually came to me asking me if I've ever read the Satanic Bible. So I was introduced to Satanism through a client. And I remember when I read the Satanic Bible, it resonated with me at that time because the Satanic Bible is written in such a way that it will appeal to the person who feels that they do not really belong anyway, that they are outcasts. And it will tell them there's a reason because you are actually a Satanist. You are meant to be unique and different and you won't fit in. And there is people who will celebrate you and they are the other outcasts and you are the leaders of this physical earth. So that is how it appeals to people. So when that person came back to me about three months later and asked me, so why did you think? I said, well, I'm definitely a Satanist and I didn't even realize it. And for me, it was also the appeal of the ability to do rituals on another level because I was already practicing rituals for people who paid me immense amounts of money. So I thought if this can go to the next level, this will be very beneficial. And I then started meeting other Satanists. And this is the other thing. So growing up in the church in the 80s, I had a perception of what Satanists would actually look like and who they would be. So when I started meeting other Satanists, and I saw, but no, these are people that I saw on television as I grew up. These are well-known sports personalities in this country these are people that's in parliament these are surgeons and doctors and lawyers and etc i thought well if these are going to be my new friends of course now were these people outright are these people those who are are knowingly following satan or they're just part of this broader they know they they practice ritual they know they are sickness, but they are not out and open about it. Thank you, hallow, for sponsoring this episode. interesting yeah so this led to 2019 where seven of us were sitting in our office and it was decided that South Africa needed an official body or organization to address certain crime stories that was doing rounds in the news to say that, no, but that is not Satanism. We are actually Satanists, and this is what real Satanism is. So it was whitewashing Satanism firstly. But the other point of the organization was to connect Satanists throughout South Africa so that if you have somebody in wherever that want to connect with other Satanists, they could do it via the organization. and in February 2020 the South African Islamic Church was officially launched it was registered with the Department of Health Affairs and Social Development sorry and there was also a building that was obtained it went very big in terms of the press because a lot of satanists were in the media and still is so we could get this story out and it was also decided before that that I would be ideal spokesperson and the face of the organization because I was already involved in the occult. I didn't really have much to lose, and I knew the Christian Bible very well. So those were the reasons I was actually nominated. Let me ask you this real quick, Rian, because you're getting deeper involved in Satanism. I can see the Time magazine, you know, End Times magazine, the new face of satanism and yet you've gone to seminary you know the christian story so at this point were you believing the christian narrative was just one iteration or was actually just wrong because you were seeing demonstrable power elsewhere or did you have a sense that you knew what was wrong and you just didn't care what was where was your head at no so i was already severely possessed by then um so obviously this is the thing about possession that i that i think a lot of people don't understand so a lot of people think if you are possessed that you have no idea what you're doing you're blanked out and you're just doing things the truth is though my experience is that you know exactly what you're busy with but there's no moral compass so you do not actually question, why am I doing this? But you are completely aware of what you're doing. So I was completely aware of what I was doing, but I didn't question, there was no moral compass or even thinking about, you know, what is possibly the consequences? What is the truth in terms of the afterlife? And because of my background before then in plant medicine journeys, where I had these, you know, spiritual experiences, I came to understand God in a different way, that God is actually a force, and it's not a Godhead. It's not the Trinity. It's not, you know, those were all false teachings to control people. That's what I thought. So that's what a lot of atheists or so-called spiritual people will tell you. It's like, no, God is energy. God is just, and that's what I thought at the time, because of, like I said, there was 15 years prior to being involved in other spiritual things. So you are under demonic doctrine, and I know a lot of Christians don't get it. It's one of the most difficult things because they're trying to look at Satanism through a Christian lens, and you cannot do that. You have to understand that there's deception. You have to understand that there's demonic doctrine. You have to understand that there's a reason Paul says we're not fighting against flesh and blood. We are like, hello, because people tend to look at the people and say, they are the problem. We need to attack them. No, no, there's another influence here. There's principalities, there's forces. And like I said, because I was severely oppressed and possessed, I didn't ask those type of questions. You don't actually think about that. Wow. Okay, so you got deeper and deeper, and then I know it's a long testimony, But in short, how did God rescue you? So you're kind of commanding the ship. You have this massive church. There's thousands of Satanists all over the place. And then God had other plans for you. So what happened? I think it's also important to mention that because my name and my face were so public, thousands of Christians around the world were actually praying for my salvation. and this i want to say that because for six months after i actually had that encounter with jesus i was still questioning but how and why why did jesus come to me of all people why would god even you know like abdell said this so beautifully once god ran down like water to where i was And I questioned, but why? And then God showed me thousands of Christians, the prayers of the righteous around the world were praying for me by my name. And remember, when I had this encounter, I wasn't looking for God. I wasn't even searching. I wasn't at a place in my life where I thought I need anything, because the truth is materially I had opulent plenty, everything that I wanted and desired, and I actually thought I was happy. If you would have asked me four years ago, Rian, are you a happy person? I would have said yes, absolutely, because I'm successful. I have all the money. I've traveled the world. I have Harley-Davidson's. I have cars. I own properties. I have access to as much cocaine as I want. Why would you think I'm not happy? Yet, I didn't actually realize that I have a Christ-sized hole in my heart. So when I actually had this encounter, there was a few things that happened prior to that that I think is maybe important to mention briefly. The first thing is Adele and myself started making contact around Halloween before I had that encounter. So I was still very much involved in Satanism. And Adele wrote a brilliant book about her journey and her encounter with Jesus and her testimony. And I was given this book by the Satanic Church Council to trash on social media. So I did that. That's how you all met, is you were assigned to be a critic of her book, Two Thumbs Down? Not just a critic, not just a critic. But so I, and this is the thing. So I actually try to discredit her because it was such a threat. The book is such a threat to Satanism, especially in South Africa, because it shows people that you can actually get out of Satanism. And here's somebody that was born into Satanism and who practiced certain things and got out because of Jesus. So very much threatened Satanists, especially in this country, very much threatened by the book. So I trashed this book on social media. Adele then actually made contact with me personally. So Adele reached out to me. She firstly thanked me on social media publicly for the brilliant review on her book. And then she actually sent me a message. And it was one of the first kind messages I received from a Christian. because I literally received thousands of death threats from Christians every day. Death threats from Christians? Yeah. I still have them. But yeah, so Christians and praying that God will kill me, things like that. Oh, that's nice. The first time a Christian was actually nice to me in a DM was Adele. This was Adele. And I didn't respond well to it. I actually didn't like that at all. At the Halloween of 2021, I actually gathered as many satanic witches online as I could to curse her. So I cursed Adele with 8,000 Satanists on Halloween of 2021. That's how we connect. That's how we originally met and gotten that into this ministry. Another thing I think is, you see, it's also the Ministry of Reconciliation. Very much. You're telling me. What a story. 8,000 witches got nothing on a saved Christian, it sounds like. Of course, because of her righteous connection with God, because of her covenant with God. I just have to say something about this. if 8,000 Satanists could not curse me or do anything against me, imagine the power of an open door. Because if one open door can cause manifestations and possession and all of these things, that is the power of an open door. So if 8,000 curses, well, it's not just 8,000 curses, it's 8,000 witches. so you can that's a lot of curses it's not just 8 000 so we have to know and then begin to grasp that if we have open doors we should shut them as soon as possible because it can bring and do a lot of damage did you know you were being cursed unfortunately not it would have been fun though because i would have just made jokes and you know enjoy the moment but it was during covid um we We were in lockdown. So how would you know the difference between a curse or just life's really tough right now? Because we have people who have, you know, we've talked about curses on the show a little bit. And we can talk more about it in another segment here. But, you know, sometimes people have said they have felt when a curse, you know, is on them. And there is, you know, there's some biblical testimony. If I can say this, if I can say this, I don't know. We're jumping back and forth now. So when I was involved in the occult as a professional practitioner, I did a lot of curses on people. And especially, you know, the majority of them being women coming to me, wanting a man that is married to somebody else. So when those men already had an affair with these clients, you could influence them very easily with Rich Graf because of that open door. The moment that you would attend to curse a person or influence the outcome with witchcraft on someone that, like I said, has a righteous connection with God or don't have open doors, it falls on the ground. It literally goes nowhere. So I think that is maybe also important to mention. And just two more things I wanted to say, and then I'm going to be quiet for a while. So the other thing that happened that was significant before my encounter with Christ is I had early May in 2022 I had an interview on a radio station And this was actually my last interview I was doing for the South African Satanic Church without me even realizing it So I did a lot of those interviews where I would speak on behalf of Satanists in South Africa. And during this interview, there was a lady who organized the interview, and there was a man who actually called into the radio show. and he asked me, like live on the radio, do you believe in Jesus Christ? And I said, no, absolutely not. Jesus is like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, right? I said early May. So this was almost three weeks before my encounter. I still said that. And this lady who organized the interview came into the studio, and she literally from the right-hand side walked up to me and put her arms around me and hug me. This hug, though, this embrace was extremely intense and warm. And I didn't really hug people at that stage of my life, but I found myself melting into this like embrace. About four days later, I found out that this woman is a Christian. and you see that blew my mind forward a few days later on the 24th of may 2022 i was supposed to be performing a ritual that was being performed globally by every satanic organization that that was connected to that network they had to appoint a person to look into the spirit world in regards with this specific thing. So I was actually preparing for the retro, and there is five candles that you have to light on the ground that's in a circle, and I got to light the second candle. And this dark room literally lit up as if people were or someone was shining a light into it. and I stood up from the ground and as I turned around, this man was standing there. And my first thought was, this is a homeless man that came in off the street into the space. So I asked him, who are you and what are you doing here? And he said to me, I am Yeshua of Nazareth. And I said to him, I'm sorry. I don't actually believe you. You're going to have to prove it. And the next second, he flooded me with love, with so, so much love. And I recognized it from the woman at the radio station because she had Jesus inside of her. and in that moment you come up against everything you you come up against all your sin you come up against everything that you've done and still there's that unconditional love wow and i i also realized that this is what i've been looking for the whole time the last 21 years of my life my searched, this is actually, it's this. And I also realized in that moment that there's no way that after today I will not follow Christ. Yes. However that is going to look. And it wasn't easy. The first year and a half was extremely intense. Like I said, nobody, I don't even think if I knew what was coming, but God knew, you understand, and God kept me safe, and God revealed things to me little by little as time goes on. And it was extremely hectic after it, like in terms of reparation and going, you know, through repentance, deliverance, being under public scrutiny, getting out of Satanism, resigning from the satanic church, stepping down from that position that was so powerful. Like the legal process involved. I mean, like I can talk forever about it. But yeah, so that's it. Now, I think the big question before, Adele, before we get to your testimony. Thank you, Adele. You've been very patient. I didn't want to interrupt. That testimony is wild, and I wanted people to hear it in its full effect. But I think the question everyone's wondering right now, Rian, is are you a hugger now that you're out of Satanism? Absolutely. Like you have no idea. I cannot help but to share the love of Christ with everybody. It's like I – yeah, it's the craziest thing because strangers come up to me now in public. and heart clean. Oh. And I mean that when you've actually given your heart to God, when your heart really belongs to God, he will work through your heart with the Holy Spirit to pull people into the kingdom. And it's love. Like Jesus is about love. And, you know, I've figured out so many things recently by listening to God and spending time in conversation with the Holy Spirit. And it's all about service. It's really all about service, the purpose of it all, and how God operates on this earth. And it's like, I get it. I finally get it. And we live in such a fallen world. We do. But wherever we go and we can represent Jesus, I was blessed enough two weeks ago to go into a prison and baptize two inmates and it wasn't glamorous, it wasn't but the way the Holy Spirit moved in that place and the glimpses of the kingdom that I get to experience by doing this and being in this ministry, it I'm so honored and I'm not worthy. This is the thing. I am not worthy. It's all Jesus. I'm so glad you're a hugger now. That's so vital. Adele, you've come to this from a different angle. And you mentioned that you were born into generational Satanism. And so I'm curious if you could share a little bit of your story. And then how did you get free? So my father's brother and family on my father's side and then also actually on my mother's side, but not as the who are involved in the occult. So I think in South Africa, especially under the Afrikaans people or the Boer people, a lot of them have been practicing the occult for many years. Like people would get together and then take off their wedding rings and, you know, put a string on it. And if someone is pregnant, you swing the ring on the string over the belly. And if it goes in one direction, it's a girl. And if it goes into another direction, it's a boy. I mean, those are all occult practices. And then, you know, like reading tea leaves. And there's a lot of things that people practiced over the years along or alongside their Christianity. So my grandfather's brother was a satanic high priest. But he was also the pastor of our church. So that was a dual position that he had. And since I'm seeing your facial expressions, I just have to say this, that it is more common than people think. To be a pastor, someone to be actively involved in leadership, Christian church or ministry, and be involved in Satanism. That's correct. We also see on very high levels of Illuminati practices, which we are not necessarily going to discuss today, where someone would have the highest position or ranking, but in order for them to achieve that, they must be a master mason, a Catholic priest, and a satanic priest. Wow. Okay. Yeah, we'll talk about that some other time. Exactly. So it's like a dual position. So I grew up in that. So for all known purposes, it was a Christian household. Went to church on a Sunday, but then obviously stuff would happen after church or satanic rituals. And that's some of my very earliest memories. And then my earliest memories also included astral projection. I don't even have an earliest memory because I can't remember. It's just astral projection has always been part of my life. I would, even if I was in church and I wanted to pray or think I would pray to God, I would, if I closed my eyes, I would just leave my body. It was a natural response to the spiritual realm. Can you, you're asking for a friend here. Could you define a little bit about astral projection? We've heard about this. So you say you leave your body. Is this a thing where you leave your body and it's akin to dreaming where you can just fly and you're just going wherever you want? What is the experience of astral projection? Okay, so there's a couple of reasons why people would astral project or can astral project. Now, you get the people who are so used to it, it's like an automatic response. But in that case, people can just go anywhere really in the spiritual realm. I mean, there's a lot of planes. But again, I'm talking from my perspective. So from my perspective, obviously, I was guided by guides and then also sometimes called to other places because of the connection that I had with the cult. And, you know, sometimes they would call me in the spirit and I would go wherever they called me. But then if someone wasn't born in this and they want to do astral projection and they are kind of, you know, learning from a book and they practice astral projection, it's not so easy to get used to it and to do it as a professional. Like most people can go out for like five minutes or 10 minutes maybe, but to stay out for long periods of time really take a lot of skill and a lot of practice. So if you are not desensitized in your spirit to do that from, like I said, from a young age, that doesn't necessarily come naturally. So people often confuse depersonalization with astral projection. So if I go, for example, through trauma, like an operation in the hospital, a lot of people talk about them standing in the corner of their room watching their bodies while the doctors are busy. That's not astral projection. You're still standing outside of your body, but that's depersonalization. So astral projection, you can literally go anywhere, but it takes skill again. And it's not like you think about it and now you're in Germany or in America. It really takes a lot of practice to just go like a couple of, we talk about kilometers in South Africa, to just go that far. So yes. And also, we are always very careful not to glamorize any occult practices or things like astral projection. We don't want to teach people how to be skilled at the occult or astral projection. But yes, the possibilities are really endless. Okay, so this is a part of your life and you would come home from Churso, choir on Sundays, then astral project in the afternoon, just a normal Sunday at the house? something like that but then um it wasn't all glamorous because there's a lot of sexual abuse and there's a lot of things that you are not in control of and a lot of trauma i'm talking about sacrifices i'm talking about experiences with blood and animals these are things that people don't really want to hear because you know like people think satanism is like a good harry Potter book or movie. And it's very far from that. And if adults come out of that traumatized, you can imagine what it's like for children to be in that. And we are actually in possession of a coloring book that Satanist gives to their children, like my first ritual or my first mass. It's like they are really desensitizing children, either through trauma and trauma programming and trauma bonding, to think, you know, in a certain way. So I was programmed and I went through all of that levels of trauma and a couple of abortions and stuff before the age of 19. And at the age of 19, as I said before, I kidnapped this boy and the plan was actually to murder his father. But that night the father was ministering at a church And as I wanted to get up from my chair in church with my dagger to kill the father, just to bring a blood sacrifice, I couldn't get to him. And again, Rian spoke about the prayers of the righteous. And that is the reason why I couldn't touch the father. But as I walked out of church and had a meeting with the powers in the air, they said that I should then kill the boy instead if I couldn't get to the father. so I took the boy with me and I just walked up to him really and I asked him to come with me and I took him to a different building and I locked us in a small room and I really wanted to either slit his throat or stab him with a dagger but for four and a half hours he repeated the armor of God and I was just totally hopeless and helpless I was I couldn't do or you know like I wanted to say things he asked me some questions but I had these weird nonsensical answers that I gave him and eventually the people found us and I didn't bruise the child I didn't you know hurt him at all I'm sure he was traumatized afterwards but they found us and they called the father and his dad came in and I can remember him asking because I could hear his voice asking what does she want? And they said she wants to negotiate. And the father said, God does not negotiate with the devil. Now, the foundation of my faith was late that night. Like God doesn't compromise. He doesn't negotiate. God is greater and bigger than anything else. And then a lot of the things that happened that night was a blur. But the father jumped over the wall. The son was sent out of the building. and the father ended up in front of me and he looked at me and he said to me, how dare you come against a child of a servant of God? And in that moment, I realized that I didn't have a one-line answer because all the abuse in the world wasn't an excuse for me to harm anyone. It wasn't an excuse for sin. And I couldn't answer him and the father sent me home. He actually took me in his arms first and he said to me, I love you with the love of Jesus. Go home and rest. So he sent me home and I was so shocked because I know like at that moment, mercy and grace absolutely ministered to me. Like I didn't deserve forgiveness, but I got it. I deserve jail and death and like for many years after that. So I gave my heart to the Lord just after that moment. But I couldn't forgive myself for years after that because I felt that I've done this terrible thing to this boy. And I know that if God didn't intervene, I would have probably be a serial killer or something today, like killing people and doing weird stuff. But I, you know, purposefully decided that I wanted to have a new life. and I was obedient to the voice and the call and the word of God. But the testimony that I wrote, the book that I wrote, went so far. It was translated in English and now very recently in Polish. But a lot of the worst criminals in our country that was involved in satanic crimes got to read that book and came to salvation. it is amazing because some of them were even released on parole last year and there was a public outcry and they were you know sent to jail again but knowing that I've been on a journey with them I'm talking about really vicious crimes I'm talking about slit throats and cutting open bodies and whatever and those people finding Jesus because of my testimony and that was everything that I ever prayed for, like, Lord, use this testimony. Like, it shouldn't be to the glory of Satan, but it should be to your glory and to what you are capable of. Wow. Good light be treated, right, Adele? Something to drive after him. I want to, so what was the moment for you, just for clarity, what was the moment when Jesus became real? And did you have to go through renunciations? I mean, it sounds like both of you had to do a lot of post-op deliverance. But for you, what was your journey like as you stepped into the kingdom of God? What did you have to do? The first thing that I wanted to do is obviously go through deliverance. But at that stage, I'm talking 30 years ago, there wasn't any ministries to help someone coming out of their cult. There were like one or two, and we didn't have the internet. So you have to like word of mouth, hear about someone somewhere. I mean, the biggest thing that could ever happen was a Rebecca Brown book. It was like the Bible of 30 years ago, apparently. But it was very hard. I actually ran for my life, you know, the first month of my salvation because I thought that the stuff that we did to people during rituals would, you know, would happen to me, that they would get to me and they would do. There's actually one person that I'm aware of that was skinned alive. It was a pastor and obviously didn't make it. But that was the thing that I was most afraid of. And it was really hard. And, you know, the gossip. And when people met me, they would ask me, you know, what's your testimony? Where do you come from? And I would say I was a Satanist. So the first question they would ask me is if I ever read a Rebecca Brown book. The second thing they would ask me is if I ever heard of this witch who kidnapped Pastor Mark Riddinkum's son. And then I would say to them, well, I was that person. And they would like. No, tell me about that. Who was that? You don't look like a Satanist. Well, we actually don't look like, you know, Satanists look like you, Ryan. They don't look like us. They look like you. Good hair, broad shoulders. Yeah. yeah yeah absolutely yes yes and so it was really hard but i stopped running and i think this is the this was the crossroads for me i stopped running the moment when i realized who i was in christ amen sister and that is exactly what has been sustaining me all these years That is what is sustaining me through the process of 8,000 witches. I know who I am in Jesus Christ, and my foundation will not be shaken. I have made up my mind, and I'm following him regardless of what might happen with me, around me, in spite of me, because of me. God is king. What happened to your family, Adele? I mean, you come from a generational family of Satanists. Did, I mean, did they get saved? Did your conversion, you know, as we've seen a lot of times people convert and their families, you know, follow, you can, I love the dynamic that any of us can draw a line of the sand and say it stops here, right? And we all have the potential to lead a family revolution. So how did things play out? What was the aftermath of your conversion and your family? My uncle died without me knowing his salvation. I actually never made contact with him again. My sister got saved because of me. And then she led my brother to the Lord and my other brother to the Lord and my stepfather and my mother. So like the one after the other came to the Lord, which is really good news. But it has, my brother unfortunately committed suicide. It was extremely sad. But he's been through a lot of the same trauma that I've been through as a child. But this happened more than 10 years ago. But yeah, it really influenced my immediate family and my entire community. And I believe that God raises up the people that he wants to raise up that's going to not be afraid of using their voices, that will not be intimidated by darkness. I mean, we will not back down. So I'd like to spend our remaining time getting a little practical. I know a lot of our listeners are always curious about take-home messages and tools that we can implement right away. Let me start with this. We've profiled a lot on the show, and actually I'll ask you this. Adele, you had a chance to listen to, I believe, an episode with Father Martin's, one of our favorites from season one, Infested. And what was your reaction? Did we capture some of the dynamics that you've experienced, some of the pre-ternational activity? What was your experience as you listened to that? yeah now rion didn't have time to listen to it but it is very much the thing that we work with all the time is infestations rion is um you know the the knocks on the walls or the the shaking of furniture or things that are being moved around i mean that's like the most normal thing well normal general things that we usually work with i loved your estate joke at the end that was very funny so So if people can just listen to the entire session and then hear the estate joke, and by the way, I have one of my own, if you do not pay your exorcist, does it mean that you will get repossessed? I love that joke. We've actually used that on the show as well. So great minds think alike. So that is, it's very good. We trying to corner that market on that on exorcist tumor But yeah I curious So in your experience especially as battling I curious since you both have had this unique lens of being on the other side what do you wish people understood more about perhaps the nature of demons? We've discussed on the show that we kind of, the father describes them as kind of petulant toddlers, but there's a weird paradox where they're in one sense, very stupid because they committed the dumbest thing you could ever do to rebel against God. And yet they observe, you've mentioned, they're highly legalistic. They respect permissions in a sense, right? We go through open doors, but maybe you could walk us a little bit through what you want people to understand about the nature of demons and how they assault us. That is a big question, but I have a very small answer to that. I'm sorry. But I can talk a lot about the nature of demons. But I think that the one thing that I can say about demons is they are always ready and waiting for an open door. And it seems like we are really putting so much emphasis on open doors because here's the thing. If the doors are not open, it doesn't matter what the nature of a demon is. Like the character and the nature of a demon really doesn't matter if we don't have open doors. The only reason why we should worry is if we have open doors and it comes closer to us, like there's an investation or a connection or whatever. So they just wait for that. They don't sleep. They are always alert. They don't go on holiday. They are just sitting and waiting for you. Because here's the thing. We all have a reputation in the spiritual realm. The enemy knows exactly, Ryan, who you are. Because they have been observing you. I don't want to be wrong here, but let's say you're 29 years old. And then it would mean that the enemy has been observing you for 29 years. So they know exactly what angers you, what frightens you, what causes you to be depressed or give up or whatever. So the moment when you give them the slightest opportunity, and they will take advantage of that. And when you open a door, you cannot decide whether it's opening five centimeters or opening up the entire way. And you cannot choose whether it's a skinny demon coming in or a legion of demons coming in. Like you don't have the choice. You can choose your actions, but you cannot choose your consequences. Absolutely. That's how Father describes it all the time. You know, I'm curious, you know, Rian, maybe you could jump in here. We talk, most of the cases that we profile in The Exorcist Files, they are extreme cases, people who had overt occult dealings, you know, psychics, tarot cards, perhaps even involvement with the adversary directly. But also, it was one of the most surprising things for me as I started kind of venturing into this world and producing the show was the amount of cases that were either directly caused by or significantly compounded by unforgiveness, sexual sin, stuff that you would think, okay, sin is bad in general. But you thought, wow, I thought it was mainly only people who go to psychics or get involved in crystals and weird stuff. But it's like unforgiveness was so interesting. And people who had serious wounds and a right to be mad had to be led through renunciations of that. So I'm curious, have you encountered that in your ministry? Yes. So two years ago, when Adele and myself partnered for this ministry, I remember I said to Adele on a call. I remember this day. I said to her, you know, we're going to see so many occultists and satanists coming to us for deliverance. And lo and behold, two years down the line, more than 80% of people coming to us for deliverance are Christian. They're not in the occult. And it is because of that thing. It is because of that unforgiveness or trauma that they haven't dealt with. Now, what I wanted to add to earlier in terms of strategy and how the army of the demo operates, we have to understand it's a very well-structured, very well-organized army. And the first area of attack is our mind. So Paul speaks of this. He speaks in Ephesians of the fiery arrows that's been shot at us the whole time. Now, these are thoughts. So we as the followers of Christ, we're supposed to be able to capture thoughts and rebuke it in the name of Jesus and renounce things. And it's also important for us to daily sit with God in conversation because God actually wants a close relationship with His children. He really does. He wants us to know Him in all things. And we are supposed to every day go to God and ask Him to reveal to us, is there anything in my heart that I need to repent for or need to sort out or do I need to renew? And I mean, not need to, the word says constant renewal of heart and mind. But the enemy bangs on the fact that people will follow certain thoughts and ideas. And the devil and demons can't read our mind. they can plant thoughts and ideas into our mind. And then they sit back and they observe us. So the moment that thought becomes more, so let's say, for instance, as an example, I sit and I get an idea, I want to pick up my phone and start looking at things that I know I shouldn't. So that idea is not from me. It's actually, it's a projection. It is a fiery arrow. it is a satanic suggestion. The moment I do pick up the phone and I start going to certain websites and things or looking at things, it becomes sin. So then I'm sinning. But it starts with an idea. That is how the army of the devil operates, first and foremost. So it's temptation, it's ideas, it's suggestion. So they're constantly looking for us. Where do we compromise? and then they take it to the next level. And then the other thing that we've noticed is that people don't actually listen to the Holy Spirit. So do you know in my time as a professional psychic medium how many Christians came to me for sessions? And the moment they sat down, they would ask me, do you think for me as a Christian to be here is wrong? Because you see, the Holy Spirit tries to convict him in that moment. But they will rather listen to the psychic. And obviously I say, no, why would it be wrong? So you're rather going to listen to the psychic than the Holy Spirit. And this is the thing. We always say this. I mean, just in the last three years, I've been to over 350 different churches, giving testimony speaking teaching with Adele teaching our workshops doing talks we have seen that 80 percent at least of Christians do not hear the voice of God they don't actually have discernment and it's because they're not spending time with God they're not taking time they would rather spend time on their phone or watching television or whatever but what I've experienced in my walk with God since I met Christ. And with the exception of 12 days up to date, I spent at least three to four hours a morning with God in conversation, reading the Word, writing down what I don't understand, speaking to God about that, worship, prayer. But that's how you get to know the voice of God. That's how you actually, it's like a conversation. You're growing a relationship. And I often use the example, and this is going to tie into the question. So think of a person, of a human being that you know very well, that you've grown a relationship with. If you would be standing in a crowded room with that person, and let's say there's a hundred other people between you and that person in this crowded room, you will still recognize their voice over the hundred voices because you've grown a relationship because you've got to know it's the same as our relationship with God and trust me because of the times that we are in because of the tactics of the enemy there's thousands of voices at the moment some of them even sounding like the truth but the person who have actually spent time with God the person who's actually got to grow that relationship and covenant will recognize God's voice, will recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, will have discernment. So I want to ask you both on this note of tactics, there was a viral interview that went around about this former African warlock who claims he's heavily involved in witchcraft. And it was just a fascinating interview. And if half of it's true, and again, you know, we don't know these people and we're just, you know, we hear a lot of the same stuff from all different corners. But one of the things that he shared that I found so interesting, and I'm curious if this has been your experience, is he said that when he was a witch and they had an agenda similar to what you're mentioning at the Church of Satan, that they would be led by the evil spirits and be told, this is the church you're going to target. This is the person you're going to target. An exact perversion of Holy Spirit led. But he said they would attack the prayer groups first. And their job was to destroy the prayer group because if people were able to pray for certain amounts of time or reach certain milestones, for lack of better term, then this authority level would be reached and they would not have power. And it was wild to hear, but I'm curious, what is the role of prayer when you were on the other side? What was the role of Christian prayer? Is it something you could detect? Would it deflect your powers? And then what is the role and importance of that in the believers battle with spiritual warfare today yes you definitely want people not to pray um if you're on the other side if we just take today's conversation and we see what prayer did for ryan how it acts i'm not going to say it activated god to move but god wants people to pray because we can speak things into existence within the boundaries of his word and his will right and and the enemy is totally aware of that and if he can stop a person from praying he has achieved 80 of his goal really because we have to really we have to realize that the spiritual world only have like it's one spiritual world but there's only two sides to the spiritual world the one side is the kingdom of god which is father son holy spirit I'm talking about Jesus Christ. Anything outside of that, it doesn't matter what name you give it. It doesn't matter what label you give it. It's part of the kingdom of Satan. So if the enemy can prevent you from praying, he has accomplished 80% of his goal with you. And I usually say that if you want to see how healthy a church is, look at their prayer meetings. like if a church and i see that a lot of churches don't even have services anymore like they only have one service and they have to limit the time because people's time like is very very important and so there's less and less and less activities or participation in really godly stuff most of the people that we get to work with that contact us do not have an active prayer life but they want deliverance i mean how are you even going to maintain your deliverance without an active prayer life but yes that is exactly how the enemy works and he wants to disarm the church and that is how you disarm the church is take away the prayer life yeah what what has changed for me just in the last two years and again from what god has revealed so and i'm going to address the power of prayer Okay, now the moment God revealed to me that His Word is the final authority over heaven, over hell, over earth, it's the final authority. And that the Word of God is also a legal binding contract. and the Word of God tells us what our authority and our rights, etc., is when we are in Jesus Christ and what we actually can do in His name. The Word of God also tells the enemy and demons how far does their power go and what is their ultimate destiny. Now, the devil and demons are very much aware of this. They are aware that they are bound by the Word of God. They do not want you to know that. But the moment you incorporate Scripture into prayer when it comes to spiritual warfare, it is extremely effective because you are showing the enemy. Because remember, they can't read your mind. So the moment I pray out loud and I bring Scripture into it, and this is part of what we teach in our courses. So the moment we stand on that word and we remind the enemy, this is what you can and can't have. This is your ultimate destiny. This is what the word of God says. And every knee shall bow to this. It becomes a completely different ballgame. And guess what? At the end of the day, God wins. Christ has already conquered the enemy on the cross. But people forget this. People don't know their identity in Christ. They don't know their authority. So something Adele always says, and I love it, is that if you know one scripture to use in spiritual warfare, you have one bullet in your gun. And what we also need to remember is that the more we read the Bible, the more we worship God, the more we go to church, the more we grow in our relationship, we are moving further and further forward in the lines of spiritual warfare, to the front. Now, many Christians then get surprised when they get attacked or they're suddenly under attack or their family or their marriage or their finances is attacked. And it's like a soldier then asking, why are I being shot at? Because you're in a war. We are in a war. And it's time for the body of Christ to realize that we are not at a wedding yet. We are still in a war. the wedding is coming later we're not there but so many many christians have this idea that it's all good it's all fine and we can be comfortable and we act the wedding bouquet and no we are in a war and i love i absolutely love how when we teach our workshops whether it's online or in person christians would come to us and say now i just put on the armor of god and i know I'm good. And they miss it completely because it's not actually about the armor. It is what the armor represents. It's what does the helmet of salvation actually mean? How do I live out my salvation? And another important part that they missed there is what Paul actually wrote in one translation say the full armor. The other one says the whole armor. And it's right at the beginning of that passage, put on the full armor. And then it speaks of the shoes of peace to spread the gospel. When last have you told somebody about Jesus? Because if you don't tell people about Jesus, if you're not spreading the gospel, you do not have the full armor on, and you will not be able to resist the enemy. I'm sorry. This is in the Bible. This is not me. So people, like to answer your question, this is the important, very basic things that the body of Christ needs to wake up to when it comes to spiritual warfare. I'm curious. So as a take-home message for families, and maybe you can speak to parents, you can speak to young adults, you can speak to professionals, anyone, but based on your experience working for the other team, what are the main vulnerabilities you think for a lot of Westerners and a lot of folks who are just living an active, you know, trying to live a good life, et cetera. Where do you think they need to be the most vigilant and the most aware? The devil walks around like a hungry lion and you deny the existence of the devil. It's like standing in front of the hungry lion and expecting him not to eat you because you are a vegetarian. You cannot deny his existence and you cannot deny his influence. And there's a huge desensitization. People think that they can dance with the enemy, that they can play with the enemy, and he's not someone to play with. You cannot play with a lion. He will devour you. Rian? Yes. I would definitely say, and like I said, coming from that side very recently, and I know the tactics and how to recruit young people, especially into Satanism, and it's very high on the agenda at the moment, is to get younger people involved. and to desensitize them to the occult for a future type of recruitment. But social media is used immensely by Satanists, by occultists, by the satanic agenda as part of it. So it's a very effective tool to get young people. And I'm not saying to parents, don't let your children have that. I'm saying be vigilant, be aware. at all times what your children are doing when it comes to things like social media when it comes to certain online games because it's used as platforms for it and it's been going on for quite a while and it's not always as obvious as yes the inverted pentagram join satanism it is it's making witchcraft and the occult and demons and things entertaining and seen fun and innocent that's how it starts and sooner or later your child will have conversations with what they think is other children talking about certain things and it's not they are actively doing that there is what is known as contacts in satanic networks that their absolute mission is to desensitize young people to recruit people into satanism it's a fact so pray first and foremost Pray the blood of Jesus, declare the blood of Christ over your children, over your family. Know that as a Christian parent, your children were given to you as a gift by God. Therefore, you have authority in the spirit world, and you can do that, and you can cover your family and your children. So that's what I would like to say as an ending. Amen. Amen. I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you before we parted ways, because obviously we have a wonderful, huge Catholic audience. Any angelic stories or any encounters with the good guys on the other side? So I'm going to end with a lovely story from Rebecca Brown, actually. I heard her speak in Pretoria a couple of years before she died. and she said she asked God out of curiosity one day, like, Lord, if we have to spend eternity saying, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, was and is and is to come, that might be a very long time. It's like every 3.5 seconds you are repeating the same phrase for eternity. It might get kind of boring. And then she had this revelation, and I believe it was the Holy Spirit saying this to her. He said to her, every time the angels cry, holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come, it is in response to a revelation of the Godhead. So every time that they cry that, it's because they have a new revelation of the Godhead. And I've had a lot of very powerful experiences with the Lord at His presence. And I think it's so important to know that the devil is a creation. He's on the same level. Well, not even the same level because he fell even further. But he's on the same level as Michael and Gabriel. And he fell even further. And for some reason, we team on the same level as God. if we can just change our perspective a little bit, things will really change for us. My head is spinning, but in the good way. And so Rian, Adele, this has been incredible.
