Promise you, when you save our station as your favorite, you will not be disappointed. We have been with iHeartRadio now for three years. We play the dopest music in the world of hip-hop, R&B, EDM, and pop. We also break records. We play music with some of the dopest artists in the world of independent music and content creators. The Bidin' Wars podcast is special because I interview artists that we feel are making music that's making the ground shake. And their music can create Bidin' Wars. The young bull I'm talking to today is truly a young visionary. I love his confidence. Most importantly, I love the fact that he's willing to work for everything that he dreams about. And that's a lot of young people not willing to do it. They don't talk about it, but they're not willing to put the work in. My brother, Christian Viore, definitely puts the work in. So I'm honored, super honored to have my bro, a rookie of the year, Christian Viore, on the Bidding Wars podcast. Viore, what's good, fam? What's good, JP? Listen, man, you know how to give you that big boy intro. Hey, man, you already know. It's been a minute, man. I want to jump in. Absolutely, man. But we back like we never left. I want to jump into it this way, man. Give the Bidding Wars audience your thoughts on the music game right now. Where is it? How do you feel about the technology in the music game, the competition level, the quality of music being distributed out right now? Just give us your thoughts on the whole thing. It's different, man. And I say this, it's definitely changing. Like, every year is a different wave. And you're not just going to ride the wave or whatever. You got to create your own wave. But you got to make that sound and people's going to listen to something they're going to fiddle. Yeah, you know, the reason why I asked that question about, you know, what you think the state of hip hop is, is because of the fact that, like, there's, with the rise of artificial intelligence and, you know, with so much technology in the game, it's kind of technology it's kind of like ai has kind of squeezed out the life of the music game because of the fact that you really can't be fake no more of you trying to make you know what i'm saying definitely definitely takes away from the artists you know it's almost like it's like you've got to have a fan base you got to yeah because you got ai now that can write your raps make beats make artwork so it's almost like you could create a rapper or singer but but the thing that that you can never replace as a solid fan base with that being said how has in your opinion technology changed music kind of changed it in a way like you can just like create a player pretty much like on 2k you can create a rapper with these tunes and melodies they come up with the ai it's crazy like it's so it sounds like it's real it does on the flip side of that coin how do you feel social media has helped the music again man like i feel like it's getting easier and easier to get to the masses because everything is accessible like in the palm of your hand get on your phone instagram just you know putting hashtags with music or beats you're gonna find other people going music beats artists around the world a lot of you know i'm a big fan of i'm a big fan of artists telling their story you know getting the story out there because people fall in love with stories you know i'm a big mary j blige fan i know so much about her you know what i'm saying And so in your mind, how important is it to share your story in the music game? It's important to have a voice, you know, like you got to speak for the people that didn't have a voice and show them, you know, this is possible. You can do it as long as you put your mind to it, do anything you want to do. And that's my love for music. No doubt about it. I want to tap in from this way because you know how much I respect, you know, your maturity and your ability to look at things from a panoramic view. you know, 360 degrees. Explain to the generations, the audience that's listening to the Bidding World podcast, like how difficult is it being independent and then trying to make all the right decisions, make all the right moves to get your career going in the right direction? That's where you're going. You're going to take them losses before you get them wins. You're going to fail before you succeed. And you got to take that risk in order to elevate to the next level. At the time, you might not know it, but that one risk can really change your life. I want to tap into this part of it. When it comes to like your happiness, you know, I think a lot of times in the game, especially hip hop, people don't really talk about being happy. You know, they talk about money, talk about girls, talk about this lifestyle of pleasure and hedonism, but they never talk about being happy and what makes them happy. So I would like for you to break down to the Bidding Wars audience, like what is your definition of happiness and what makes you happy in this life? What makes me happy the most is the little things like six months ago I just threw my Achilles and just the little things of being able to walk again Really made me grateful for the little things And that just made me look at that in my everyday life Like, I'm thankful for all the little things. So when you couldn't walk because you tore your Achilles, man, like, what were some of the things that you were limited from doing that you now appreciate even more? I couldn't do the everyday things. Like, I wanted to do activities around the house and stuff. And not only physically, but it played a toll on me mentally. and it made me not want to make music and made me kind of like in a depressed state and then as I get better, got better and better and I just started to feel like myself again. Definitely. You know, I always tell artists that on your Instagram, you should always have an Instagram highlight that says, who is Vior or who is whatever your artist name is because, you know, you want people to know your story in your own words. You don't have to tell us everything, but like, what was it like for you coming up as you were young, like, you know, during your childhood? Like, what were some of the experiences that you went through that made you through you are now and that made you who you are now and also part two like what were some of the things that you learned early on in your life whether your parents taught you or uncle that really helped you to be where you are now what's something to talk about the lessons to talk about the type of upbringing you're being around the older crowd at my young age just really brought my growth and i say i was a much older mind than i should have been early and that That really put me ahead on some type of things. But basically, I spent a lot of time with my grandma growing up and my cousin. My cousin used to watch me. And there was times I was just, you know, by myself. But just being around that crowd, that really elevated my mind. Got you. You a big Kobe Bryant fan, right? Definitely. Definitely. Remember that article I wrote about you when you got the Black Mamba photo? Remember that? Mamba mentality. Explain. Great article, by the way. Thank you, man. Thank you. I ain't pleased. Explain to the Bidding Wars audience, number one, why do you like Kobe so much? And that's number one, why you like Kobe so much. And number two, talk about his game. What part of his game did you like? And how has the Mamba mentality helped you? You know, Kobe, he took that negative and made it a positive every time. And that Mamba mentality is just having the willpower to keep going through anything. Adversity, you're back against the wall. You just got to keep moving, keep pushing. The thing I like about Kobe's game, just the dog in him, man. It was no one like him at all. Like, even his teammate, Paul Gasol, he ran right through the Olympics. Yeah, you talk about that, man. He's a dog. Yeah. Yeah, man. You know, Kobe was a one-on-one, man. It's tragic how he died, you know, in the helicopter. But, you know, his relentlessness was just unmatched. You know, it's definitely been. I want to talk about the creative process of you, if you don't mind. When it comes to creating the music, where do you go to pull that inspiration? My childhood and just not having a voice and being able to spread it now, like being from antisocial to pushing myself out of my comfort zones and being outgoing and just doing stuff that you wouldn't do. That really makes you comfortable. When you're in the studio, you're in that booth. The engineer is behind that glass wall. explain the difference in you in that moment because you turn into the artist so explain the euphoria you feel type of person you are in the moment when you're creating at your highest level it's like the cameras are you know you feel like you're in an arena hundreds of hundreds of thousands of fans like you really feel that it's like in Miami when I was down there house it hits It's like no other feeling. Like major artists come here. Major records was placed here. Yeah. Major plaques were created. Major plaques. Yeah, no doubt. No doubt, man. You did a great job in that interview. You were nervous, but you was cool about it. That's what I love. You were nervous, but you were cool with it. You know what I'm saying? That was cool. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then because you came to Moxie's with us too, right? Did you come to Moxie's? Definitely. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We ate. It was dope. Yeah. Real good. It was dope too. Yeah, Moxie, that chicken sandwich, crazy. Yeah, no doubt. No doubt. And then, you know, he was at the Magic Performer, just like, you know, in front of that pool on that water. That was crazy. It was a movie, man. No doubt about it, man. Definitely got to do it again. Yeah, we doing it, man. L.A. L.A. in November this year. We in L.A. Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, for sure. We all going to Roscoe's. I want to ask you this, man, and I'm not trying to scare you, but one thing I love about talking to you is like, you don't mind. oh you you accept things you're willing to deal with the reality there's over 2.5 million artist people waking up every day trying to make it as a hip-hop artist obviously everybody's not going to have the same ending i want you i would like for you to explain to the bidding wars audience why you feel you will have that positive ending where you get what you want to end which is a lifelong career in the music you know just separating myself and canceling all that outside outside Norris and just keeping my faith in God and my family close. And with that by my side, I persevere no doubt What is quality about you that people say you know I mean I know you got several qualities but you know just for the sake of time we ain got to mention all of them We just mention one But what are some qualities about you that people say you know what I love that about you I'm just myself. I'm not trying to be something I'm not. And what's one thing about you that you need to change in order to be a better person? What's a trait about you that you know? Like, man, I'm procrastinator. I'm this. Or sometimes I get lazy. What's something about you that you know or sure you need to change in order to be a better person? It's not getting caught up in my mind and remaining stagnant. that can really just slow everything up. And I just want everything to be consistent and live a happy, healthy life. No doubt about it. I would like for you to explain to the Bidding Wars audience like your relationship with music right now. How do you feel about music? What does it mean to you? And I would like for you to explain how do you feel music can change your life? It's been part of me since I was young. It's been on and off, dreaming. Sometimes when I'm one foot in, one foot out. But at the end of the day, the love of music, it just always keeps coming back. It's 2024, August right now. What do you, how do you feel about the world? There's a lot going on. The world is, we live in a dark world, in my opinion. A lot of hate, not a lot of love, a lot of separation. You know, politics, people, classisms. Like, as a young person who represents Generation Z, tell me what do you see from your eyes when you look at the world? I don't get too much into the politics, but what I do see, I see that we just need a little more common sense and awareness. Amen to that, bro. Definitely. Like, it's kind of sad. And when you say common sense, kind of expound on that for me. Like, what's some common sense change you think the world needs to pay attention? Just be thoughtful of one another and just not to be biased on one thing. Just think of all types of aspects. Like, you don't know what someone's going through right now. Absolutely. Let me tap into this part. And great answer, by the way. Thank you. Thank you. When you're creating music, one thing I want to want the audience to hear from you, within your mind, what type of happy place does it take you to? Like, what place does it take you to? Just puts me in my zone. Nothing can bother me. Like, I'm just, I'm locked in, man. You represent Generation Z, young people. Right now, when it comes to your voice, how do you feel young people have been? How do you feel young people? I responded to them, you know, just to have that power and, you know, not give up, giving that willpower and determination to stay on their job, hustle, whatever they're doing, and whatever it takes to succeed. But not a no, you know, backdoor somebody or something like that, nothing like that. Right. Now, you hear me always say knowledge is power. From your perspective, how important, explain how important is it to have your business set up right in the music industry as a young person? You have to have it set up right because you can take losses here and there. If you don't do the splits right, you could be losing out. You might not have the rights to the song. You might not have got the exclusive rights to it. You really got to read and do your own research. No doubt about it. When I met you about two years ago, I mean, you're still very young. But the thing about it, you've accomplished a lot in a short period of time. So salute to you. When you think about trying to make sure your business line, your LLC, your tax ID numbers, split sheets, a BMI, ASCAP, the registering of songs, have a marketing team to help you create dope banners. You have a social media team. You have a radio team. You know what I'm saying? All these different moving parts. What is the hardest part in your mind when it comes to trying to select the right team? it's like explain how difficult it is to build a great team around you as a generation zero first you gotta be able to trust your team you know your team gotta be family and not in a sense of blood but someone you can trust and be loyal and they have to be reachable yes and willing to communicate as well for sure no doubt about it i want you to break down to the audience the future of your music like what's some of the projects you want to get off the ground in 2025 we're not going to talk about 2024 that's basically over but in 2025 man what are some of the things you really need to do in order to take your career to that level at least i want to stay consistent consistent in the gym consistent in the studio consistently putting out new music reaching new fans and continue to expand not staying in the same place you know definitely what is what are some of the things that you do to unwind, man, to like get away from it all? Definitely the gym or just going out for a walk. That really eases my mind. Get all my thoughts together and just planning my next move. You read books here and there? Not too much, to be honest with you. Yeah. When you get a chance, I want you to download this app called Audible. A-U-D-I-B-L-E. Audible. Audible allows you to listen to books on the go. I read. I got so busy, man. I was alone. I stopped reading books for a while because i was reading so much information and i downloaded audible bro and um it was dope so audible allows you just to stream a book you know what i'm saying and yeah yeah listen to them no doubt about it man one thing i love about you bro is you know you willing to be honest with yourself and you willing to put in the word i mean that may sound simple but it's not because most people can't look at them look in the mirror and see the original version of themselves they like to see the alternative version you know i'm saying yeah of themselves what do you appreciate what do you appreciate the hustle i appreciate the ups and downs, the whole journey itself, you know. Like I said, I'm grateful for the little things, and I'm down to take that challenge, whatever it takes to get to the top. Yeah, no doubt about it, man. Let's talk about sports for a minute, man. What's some of your teams you like to watch? You know, like Philly. Okay, the Sixers or the Eagles? The Eagles, Philly, Phillies, all the teams. All right, yeah, yeah, yeah, man. Eagles got a very crucial year this year coming up. It's crucial. Rents do, man. Shout out to Allen Hurts. I like that. Yeah, Jalen Hurts got a bounce back. I have Saquon now. So that's definitely giving y'all a different vibe and ring to it and everything like that. It's very important. The question I want to ask you is this. When you think about, well, let me say it like this. What's your definition of a fan? Something that's ride or die for you no matter what. Yeah, and that's really the definition of a super fan, to be honest. I'm glad you did that because it goes to my point. It's beautiful you said that because super fans are the people that, like, jump on your live streams, comment on your posts. They're always sharing your stuff. They're watching your story because they're pretty – really, they're just invested at a higher level. Definitely, most definitely. In you. So that's why the Monday boys are so critical. As you think about the future of your career, you know, record label, clothing line. I what's some of the like what's some of the business ideas you have like do you want to start a clothing line or a particular merch line yes I do I don't have the exact name for it but it's in the works exactly um have you ever thought about acting maybe get into a little bit you know go and get your ludicrous on I did not but I think that would be cool I'll be willing to take a shot at it yeah I can see you on law and order yeah you know you know I can see a lot or do your list Doing a dope scene from the studio. I mean, I didn't kill him. I don't know. That'd be cool, man. I had to bring Ice-T, bet. Ice-T on the show. He's been there for five years. He never left. He stood up, man. Ice-T been there, man. Hey, first of all, he does a great job. Second of all, it's easy money. Oh, he's dope. He's dope acting, man. Yeah, dope artist. I want to go into this part as we close out the interview. I want people to get to know you. because when people know you, they believe in you, and then they tell other people about you. So that's a three-way you-ism I like to share. But, you know, I love you humility. I love you grace. I love your honor that you put on yourself and your career. So I love that totally. Any final shout-outs you want to give anybody that's helped you or whatever? Hey, shout-out to you. Shout-out to you, man. Shout-out to my family, close ones, real friends, Miami the Heat. Yeah, no doubt, man. And Power Los Angeles. Well, listen, you already know, man, like when you text me and say, yo, I'm ready to fly. You know, that's why I always treat people the same, man. But like, you know, you're one of those people that. That you want to help grow, you want to work with them, you want to see them fly because of how you look at life, you look at life with such a human. And people will always do great things for you when you are humble, when they feel like you're a humble person, because they know that you understand. the environment you're in. So that's why I respect you so much, fam. I respect you too, fam, and I want to see everybody win, including yourself. All right, give out your Instagram handle nice and slow.
