Ep. 393 - Why You Feel Disconnected From Your Intuition (And How to Reclaim It) with Taylor Paige
72 min
•Feb 6, 20262 months agoSummary
Taylor Paige, a medium and angel intuitive, discusses why intuitive gifts are activating now and how nervous system regulation is key to accessing intuition. The episode explores the difference between fear-based inner chatter and true intuitive knowing, offering practical techniques like journaling, walking meditation, and 'sitting in the power' to reconnect with spiritual guidance.
Insights
- Intuition is fundamentally a nervous system function—healing the nervous system through regulation directly enables clearer spiritual connection and intuitive downloads
- The collective is experiencing a bifurcation: some people's intuitive gifts are coming online while others feel disconnected; both groups benefit from nervous system work and silence/spaciousness
- True intuitive information is always present-moment, regulating, solution-oriented, and never fear-based; distinguishing this from ego/inner child chatter requires embodied practice
- Spiritual development and personal healing are inseparable; as people clear trauma and regulate their nervous systems, they naturally become more sensitive to subtle intuitive signals
- The greatest collective wound is the belief that humans are spiritually powerless; reclaiming intuition is an act of reclaiming personal power and co-creative agency

The greatest lie in human history is that we are not powerful or spiritually powerful. The more we can just be in the present moment, feeling the love of spirit and sitting in that open container without judging or needing proof, that is when we open up to the most magic. There are two things I'm hearing from people more than ever before right now. One is that they are feeling their intuitive gifts start to come online. They're starting to sense into things, to feel things before they happen, to have a gut reaction, a gut response about what's correct for them in ways that they haven't before. And the other half of people are like, I don't know how to connect my intuition. I don't know how to connect to my clarity. It feels confusing. I can't discern what is fear. What is truth? what is my true voice underneath all of it. So in today's episode, we are going to break that down for you. We have the incredible Taylor Page from Angels and Amethyst. You've heard her on this podcast before. She's a gifted medium. She's a gifted angel intuitive, and she has very practical insights of how to start to bring that connection to self out more. And the reason why, if you are feeling your gifts start to come online, why they're coming online now and what to do about them. One of the biggest reframes around intuition, which actually pairs so much with the TBM work is nervous system regulation. You don't really think about intuition and nervous system because it's science and intuitive science and magic, but really in order to hear our true essence, to hear our future self, to hear our highest self, to hear the universe, God, angels, spirit guides, whatever you want to call it, to hear that peaceful, calm knowing of what direction to take best for you, we need to have our nervous system regulated. We need to feel calm and grounded. We cannot feel overstimulated. We cannot have all of this noise going on in our head, in the silence, in the stillness is where it truly comes in. So make sure to hang out to the end of the episode where we're going to really break down some of our most heavy hitting nervous system tips that can help you reconnect with your intuition on a massive level. And now a word from our partners. One incredible healing tool that has been game changer for my nervous system is the Bond Charge PEMF mat. There is a very specific state your body needs to be in for that deep healing and real subconscious relaxation. And one of the most effective ways I found to help my body actually let go is the Bond Charge PEMF mat. It combines pulse electromagnetic field therapy with red, near infrared, and far infrared heat. In simple terms, it deeply calms your nervous system, relaxes your body, improves circulation, and brings you to a much more receptive, grounded state. They have settings to help you drop into your sleep to get into that delta wavelength to sleep deeper. They have settings to help you drop into your meditative state so you can go deeper with your deep imaginings. And they have settings to help bring a little bit of awareness, awakeness, and activation in your body in a gentle way to help wake up your cells. It also helps your body recover faster because you're significantly lowering your stress load. I love setting it on a high heat, putting on eight Hertz, which is as close to Schumann's resonance, which is the earth's natural frequency. So I can just kind of calm down, get in homeostasis. And I'm telling you the depth and relaxation to which I can get into my deep imaginings with this is next level. The only thing I can kind of equate it to is maybe when you're in a really deeply relaxing massage, but this is something you can do right in your home. In fact, I keep mine in my office. So after stressful periods or busy work calls or when I'm feeling scattered, I take a quick break on the PEMF mat and it brings me back down to regulation. I have the Infraive PEMF mat max, but they also have a Demi, a little bit smaller version, a mini and a waistband version, especially for people who get bad cramps or back pain, hugely beneficial. And for our expanded podcast listeners, we have a special code MAGNETIC, all caps, M-A-G-N-E-T-I-C for 15% off your order. That's code MAGNETIC, all caps for 15% off your order. And you can check out the link in show notes or go to bondcharge.com to learn more. And now onto the episode. Taylor Page, welcome back to the Expanded Podcast. I am buzzing to have you back today. Same. Thank you so much for having me. I love this community so much and I'm so excited today. One place I want to kick off with because I'm just noticing it pop up in the community and I don't know if it's a collective theme or it's just the sign of the times, but I have heard so many people and even myself have had some very wild intuitive experiences more recently. And I thought I'm just like, okay, it's me. Like I'm always open to that stuff. So I'm not surprised things like that are happening. But then I've heard it from people who are not super into thinking about spirit or channeling or intuitive messages or premonitions or anything like that. and they're having moments where they're like, oh, I know this person is gonna say X and then the person says it, or I know this is gonna happen or I feel into this happening and then it happens. Do you notice in your community or have you been feeling into almost like psychic gifts and sensory gifts coming online more and more? Yes, I think that it's the natural evolution of where we're going in our healing journey. And it makes perfect sense to me that the TBMers who are healing their inner child and doing shadow work, they're clearing themselves for that natural birthright of intuitive connection that we all have. So it makes sense because intuition, spirit connection, all of those things are actually a biological function of the nervous system. And so when we heal our nervous system, it helps us get to a place where we can raise our vibe high enough to meet in the middle with our guides, angels, other things, it also on our healing journey, as we regulate our nervous system, as we let our higher self lead instead of our inner child and all of these things, it allows us to actually hear our intuition because I'm sure that's what is happening with your community is that they've always been getting these messages, but the mind has spoken over them. Fear has spoken over them. And now they're just clearing their vessel enough to receive. And I think that we've all been done such a disservice to think that somehow spirituality can't also be evidential, can't also be grounded and rooted in proof. and it's like spirituality is this ineffable, numinous, mystical thing for the select few. And it's this pattern of wounded consciousness of spiritual victim consciousness or submission instead of tapping into the very real power that every single one of us has. Okay, that just like hit a light bulb because I definitely have been someone who like watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch growing up and watching Charmed, I was like praying for the one day I wake up and all of a sudden I could like move things with my mind or I could fly or I could, you know, all of these things. And you see sort of the commodification of spirituality in media, right? Like I think that's a lot of people's first imprintation of what this relationship looks like. But as I got older and started learning more about it, it was way more delicate and nuanced. And I realized I did have a connection to it, not in the way that I thought it would look like as a kid, but in sort of this deeper, more grounded, more truthful. But you talk about how the connection to intuition is the sum of the times you trust yourself. Talk about that because there definitely, while there is a part of our community that their pings are going off like crazy, they're getting messages, they're awakening to their sensory environment more so than ever. there's also a part of our community that's still fighting with their mental chatter and they're not able to like really trust and listen to the very subtle pings of their intuition. Yes, there's so much to say about this. And yes, intuition is 100% the sum of all the times we've trusted ourselves, ourselves with a capital O, because there's also that inner villain voice that I talk about, the wounded inner child, our shadow, that resonates with our wounds. Our intuition resonates with our higher self. And when intuition comes in, it's always in the present moment. All intuition, all mediumship, all connection of any kind spiritually happens in the present moment. And when we are in our head, when we're ruminating on what happened, when we're in fear fantasies of what could happen, when we're trying to connect in a very dysregulated way, trying to control the outcomes, that makes it really hard to listen to capital O ourself. So that's one thing I want to say. The other thing with like our intuitive journey is that so many people are like, I'm not intuitive. And to me, the energy underneath that is a protector. And I think that if intuition can be so hard to talk about and find language to describe because it's so ineffable. But if we compare this energetic pattern to other areas of manifestation in life, it's kind of like how people in love life will either be like hurt over and over again and still replay those patterns or the other spectrum side of the spectrum of wounded consciousness is like, I'll just never find love. I'm just done. I'm just going to focus on myself. I'm completely rooted out, which isn't that co-creation open heartedness in the present moment either. And that's the wounded spectrum of consciousness that I see in the spiritual world. We're on one end of the spectrum. It's this chronic guru consciousness of outsourcing your wisdom to other people. And on the other end, it's like, it doesn't exist. It's not real. Death is the final ending of everything. And that's that. And I think both are coming from a place of protection and control instead of that middle ground of just what I like to say, the best way to approach this work is playful curiosity. I mean, I love that you said that because that's the best way to even approach a healing work. You know, our winner challenge was really about return to magic. Your inner child's play, the joy, the fun, like in that state of play and joy and curiosity and wonder, so much can clear out and you can move through heavy emotions easier because you have this trust muscle with this play. So, you know, OK, even if things get heavy, I have evidence that I can go back into this state this emotional joy and this can help support me through the heavy stuff. Journaling was actually my entry point into communication with my intuition where I couldn't really hear it super loud, even though like now looking back, I'm like, oh, it was there the whole time. I just couldn't differentiate between that and fear. But when I started journaling and I would be like, okay, intuition and spirit, the channel is open. Tell me what I need to know. And I would just like write a question to myself and then I'd let my pen just go. And then I was like, whoa, that was like pretty profound or that was spot on or wow, I feel calmer now or more grounded. And it wasn't this crazy thing. It was almost just in a way of relating to me and sourcing into my higher power. So do you have any tips for people who are like, the mind chatter is chattering? Absolutely. And it makes a lot of sense that you're making this connection with the intuitive development journey and all of the healing work that you're doing because they're one in the same and 99% of like mediumship and intuitive development is personal development because we are the instrument and so if you are living in and I always say like society is a playground for the ego and we're so locked into it and everything is so loud and we're programming our brain to like have a short attention span with our phone and we're just always on that it's a totally different frequency than intuitive connection, which again is regulated, solution oriented, present and happens in the present moment. And so what is happening is people are like, okay, I'm going to sit down and I'm going to meditate for 10 minutes. And I am going to subconsciously or consciously use this as a litmus test to prove to myself if I'm intuitive or not. And then what happens is what I call the need to clear the cobwebs. When we don't have any silence and spaciousness in our life, which by the way, time plus silence plus spaciousness equals intuitive connection. When we do not have any silence, one of my mediumship teachers, Eileen Davies says, silence is for the soul, what food is to the body. and we need silence to hear. And so what happens is we sit down trying to raise our vibe and connect. And also I think people put a lot of pressure on themselves to like hold on to answers or look for a certain sign or like grasp instead of just allowing present moment heart listening. And so what happens is your mind, your inner child, your nervous system finally has your attention. You've been go, go, go mode. And first you have to do what I call clearing the cobwebs, which is sitting in spaciousness long enough for that voice to get it all out. The to-do list, the fears, the awkward thing that you did last week. And then it made people laugh at you. Like you just need a moment to clear all of that out. And so I think with your intuitive development journey, instead of focusing on the results, it's all about the process. And I think that we can be so hard on ourselves with our intuitive development journey. And we throw the baby out with the bathwater all the time and just go back to that protector story of I'm not intuitive, but yes, you are because we all are. It's like when we have time to just listen to ourselves. That is equally as important as listening to our guides. For some reason, we're always outsourcing our power. And sometimes our inner child needs to talk to us. Sometimes our heart has an emotional thing it needs us to process or look at. Sometimes there's something we forgot and we have to remember in that moment of silence. So it's okay to just let the process unfold and continue to show up for more silence and spaciousness. And eventually when you've cleared the cobwebs, you'll plug into this deeper sense of peace. And even that is part of the intuitive development journey, because you'll feel when you've lost that and you're back in the mind and you start to have a somatic experience of what it feels like to connect with your higher yourself, to connect with your angels and your guides, and you'll start to be able to get back to that place easier. It's harder in the beginning. I love that. Like even I'm such a structure person. So I'm like, I love even that protocol of if you're having that season where it feels harder to hear your truth, your clarity, what you should do, how you should move. It's like you have to process all the things coming up in the way of it, that's blocking you to just be in stillness, to feel safe to be in stillness. And I think in an age of social media and our phones and the attention economy and all of that, like everything is pulling our threads to pay attention to things. So the more we can take our power back and say, okay, this is a silly example, but our team is obsessed with, have you heard of Brick? The phone thing? No. I'm the worst though. I never know what's going on. We are literally at a time where it's like a little magnet you stick to your fridge and you put your phone, whatever apps you want, not on your phone for a certain amount of hours and you have to physically tap it. And sure, you can set time limits on your phone with a bunch of different apps. I think there's like Opal and a couple other ones, but something about the fact that you have to like go back to your fridge to unlock it means that like you could go out to dinner with friends, lock all the apps that like take your attention without even noticing. And then you can't unlock it until you come back. So our whole team is like, we have to get the brick. We have to try it out. Like see if it gives us our silence back. We try to fill silence in every second. Can we notice that compulsion to grab something, to fill the stillness, to fill the silence so we can sit with those cobwebs, which might not feel great at first, but it doesn't take that long to move through the cobwebs for the peace to come. And this is why I love doing like the deep imaginings Cause it like at first you like Oh here are all my triggers And then by the end you like I starting to get all these new channelings and ideas Yes And I want to say too humans love to control everything And I think something so beautiful and yeah, me too. And I speak from experience, by the way, something that's so beautiful about our connection with spirit is that we cannot control how spirit shows up. And that is why we have so many protectors around our perception of our spiritual practice and our perception of us as intuitive because we are completely out of control. And I think that when we go into like our meditation practices or our card pulls or our spiritual containers, we're so hard on ourselves and we judge ourselves and we go into the pitfall of if then thinking. If I was really intuitive, then I would know X, Y, Z thing. If I was actually tapped in, then my guides would show up as this in this exact way. And that's 100% ego projection and control. And sometimes our guides just want you to feel love for that 15 minutes that you're meditating. Sometimes they're doing energy work on your heart space that's opening you for a synchronicity later in the day. We always think that it has to look a certain way, but the more we can just be in the present moment, feeling the love of spirit and sitting in that open container without judging or needing proof, that is when we open up to the most magic. I mean, the parallels between that and manifestation is like visually exactly the same. I'm like in the healing work, when you're trying to go in and be like, cool, I need to get rid of this block today so I can manifest X tomorrow. It's like, that's that control. That's that ego. But you almost have to sit into the surrender. Like even in our deep imaginings, when people are going back and I'm blocking and healing all these things to have no expectation of the experience. Like you're saying one time, it might be, you just feel a little bit later. Another time it might be you move through a huge emotional journey. Another time it might be like, wow, I feel okay. Just like kind of calmer today, but I don't know if I went super deep. All of it means something. And to surrender what type of experience you're going to have today with it to spirit and to the universe in a lot of ways. Let that high intelligence of the how be beyond your mental model control. can you trust that there is a divine orchestration that each little aspect of your healing or the times that you connect with your intuition or the times that you leave stillness and silence is all part of a plan to get you closer and closer to yourself and the more you get out of your way and try to control it and orchestrate it the faster it ultimately comes and the stronger it comes One million percent. And by the way, every time we do that, it sensitizes us to spirit. So it also allows us to get in real time hits and downloads about what's right for us and what isn't because of those like plug in check in moments with just sitting in silence. So it's also attuning you in a very beautiful way as well. I think one of the things that I keep thinking about, especially entering into like a new paradigm in this new piece is just how important it is for the individual to have a very strong connection to self, to be self-aware, to understand why they behave or act or react to things the way they do. but even deeper than that to plug into like their power, their safety, their intuition, their connection with the divine. How do you see that playing out? And I know you mentioned like some people guru-ify spiritual leaders and it's like the way I see it or try to play with it is I let them be inspiration point, but I know I can always have my connection that's authentic or correct for me. Like I don't have to take everything everyone says, but I can still get something good out of it. How do you see this playing out and like how to, can people develop this safety? Yeah, I completely agree with you. First of all, as people are giving information, we can run through the own barometer of our heart if it resonates with us. And that already is being in our spiritual authority. And to everybody, including me as a human being, And we all have sometimes our shadows or our blind spots. And so not everything will resonate with every person and that's okay. But yeah, I think that this is hitting on something that I've really been contemplating a lot with like the heaviness in the world. And you and I were talking about it a little bit before we hit record. And I want to give this message with so much love and grace and hope and also say, I'm not claiming to have every answer about the universe or the world. I don't think while we're in human form, we can, but I appreciate you also sharing the parallels between the healing journey and the spirit journey because we are human and spirit and they're both mirroring both to each other. And I think that there's a deep wound in the collective consciousness of humanity that says we are spiritually inferior beings. We're not powerful. We're not connected. We're at the whim of higher powers. That infiltration of our deep consciousness is being mirrored just like every spiritual pattern is mirrored in the physical world in some way because it's all a mirror helping us heal. And I know like the universe is such a holding up a big mirror to us with all of our patterns, mind, body, soul. And I think that there's this outsourcing of power, this perception of powerlessness that is like the great lie. The greatest lie in human history is that we are not powerful or spiritually powerful. I do believe in like God in the universe I believe in higher intelligence that we couldn't understand while we're here but as physical beings in a physical world God in the universe can only work through us to the degree that we listen to them and that we let love win through us and I think it does a disservice to like God the universe whatever terms you want to say when people look at the world and say well if God was really real how could they allow this to happen and it's like humans are allowing this to happen. We have to wake up to the piece of us that is God consciousness and remember our power and take responsibility as the stewards of the land and the animals and each other and community. And I think right now on like a massive scale, there's this feeling of hopelessness and anger and frustration. And just like you said, a disconnection from self. And I think it's no accident that nervous system healing is everything right now. To me, it's been the single-handed most important part of my healing journey has been my nervous system regulation, and it's completely changed how I connect with my spiritual practices as well. And I think that we're learning, our consciousness is evolving to learn that we are in charge of us. We are releasing victim consciousness. We are feeling safe in our nervous system, to be the creator of our own life, to be in the present moment and co-creation with love. And now I think we need to be so rooted in our spiritual power and our ability to trust our wisdom and our ability to be creators and high powers here on earth. And just like you were saying earlier about like Sabrina, the teenage witch and thinking it would look a certain way, like in almost all media, humans are always like the weak ones. We're always the ones. It's so indoctrinated into our consciousness that like we are morally and spiritually inferior and there are higher powers that we are at the whims of and my connection to these higher forces of love is all love and is all trying to help us and even in the way that spirit guides us and directs us it's always like kind of a riddle or giving us a next step. It's always in a way that empowers us to come back to us, us to trust us. And so I think that everything is guiding us to wake up to our own power. And I really hope that collectively we remember that too. Oof, bars, that just like that hit in such a way. And it makes me emotional because I feel like I also feel into just even as a human, like I feel into that powerlessness sometimes. You feel, you see things happening in the world and you're like, it's so easy to feel like, well, what am I going to do to help this, to fix this, to move with this? And what I'm hearing from you and what I think feels so hopeful is it really does start with our relationship to self and the energy that we can reverberate out into the world and the decisions we can make from that different level of awareness and that different consciousness state. Because if we are responding to things in the world that we don't like from the mirror of humanity, and we're responding from ego and anger and frustration and fear and all these things, we're going to create more of that effect in the world. And so obviously there are, there are actual actions we can do, but from a very simplistic state, the thing that's most in your control is clearing your energy back to you, getting back to your heart, remembering your power and letting that energy frequency reverberate because that'll also reverberate, not just energetically, but the decisions you make, how you interact with people. Yeah. That it just feels a lot more hopeful because it's like, okay, there is at least one thing I can do today, even if it's not a grand action yet, there is something I can do to help shift this mirrored humanity consciousness. Yeah. And just like we judge what our meditation should look like or how our guides should show up, or if my boyfriend really loved me, he'd show up this way. We're putting that same pressure on our activism. And I feel like we are like, if I was powerful, then I could maybe show up to the Capitol and do XYZ thing. Like, I don't know what it is, but there's ways that we think power has to look a certain way. When in reality, spirit makes its art through all of us in different ways through love. And we're all different parts of a greater whole. And for some of us, we're programmed to be on the front lines, using our voices, being loud in the streets. We all have different gifts. Some of us are caretakers for the elderly. Some of us are helping our family Like love wins through all of us in different voices and feeling like it has to show up in just one way limits us from how it can work right now. Having recently celebrated another birthday, I have been thinking a lot about aging, not in the fear based way, but in a how do I want to feel in my body for the rest of my life type of way. Because for me, healthy aging isn't about looking younger. It's about energy, sleep, mental clarity, longevity, feeling vitality, and my body actually feeling like it's supporting the life I want to live. You guys have heard me talk about fatty 15 before, and I truly think it has been a key to help support my cells on the most basic level, especially around aging. Fatty 15 contains C15, the first essential fatty acid discovered in more than 90 years. Co-founder Dr. Stephanie Van Watson was working with the U.S. Navy to improve the health and longevity of aging dolphins. And based on over 100 studies, we now know that C15 strengthens our cells, supports healthy aging at the cellular level. Which means if our cells don't have enough C15, they become fragile and age faster, meaning our bodies do as well. Their research even identified the first nutritional deficiency in over 75 years called cellular fragility syndrome. and as many as one in three people are low in C15. Fatty 15 helps repair age-related cellular damage and activates pathways tied to sleep, cognitive health, metabolism, energy, anxiety, memory. In fact, 70% of customers report noticing benefits within 16 weeks. And it has three times more cellular benefits than omega-3. Personally, I have noticed a massive shift when I'm taking it consistently, especially in brain function, cognition, memory, and even digestion. Also in periods when I'm in high stress, it seems to help support my anxiety levels as well. Best of all, Fatty 15 comes in a gorgeous reusable glass and bamboo jar, and the refills are shipped right to your door. Fatty 15 is on a mission to optimize your C15 levels to help support your long-term health and wellness, especially as you age. You can get an additional 15% off their 90 day subscription starter kit by going to fatty15.com backslash TBM or use code TBM at checkout for 15% off. Check the link in show notes for more. This is something I've kind of been pondering and playing with a little bit, but distraction from the way that we uniquely as individuals can show up. So I think about, you know, push energy versus pull energy. And when I feel like I'm aligned with my purpose, with my soul, with my mission in this season, in this life, it feels like pull energy. It feels like I can't stop thinking about it. I'm so passionate about it. It just generates more energy within me. And maybe that's because I'm a generator of human design, but like, that's how it presents for me. And I've gotten really curious of like, what are the things that get me there? And what are the things that don't? And I've been playing with this idea that so often we bring in the force energy, the things we feel like we should do, the things we feel like we have to do to be a good person, to help others, to maintain our sense of who we think we are in the world. And every time I let in that push energy, it takes away from the pull. And so I guess I'm kind of asking your feelings with this, but also as it relates to connecting to spirit, do we take our power back by really trusting the thing that's pulling us is for us and that it almost gives us more permission to let go of the things that are not? Yeah, I think that our connection with spirit is really about deep heart listening. Really listening without judgment, without filtering it through the story of who we think we should be or who we are or what other people think we should do, but deep heart listening. And I think for a lot of us in these moments, I interviewed Megan Watterson on my podcast and she said something that I really loved about how sometimes anger is love's boundary that's been crossed. And I think that right now we're all feeling these feelings of anger or this isn't right or some people are feeling powerless or judging themselves for what they aren't doing or being hard on themselves. And again, that pattern will be replicated in other areas as well. If it's coming up energetically, it will come up physically too, because it's all connected. And I think that for us, it's about listening to the emotions with openness, honesty, and little resistance. That is how we will get the instruction manual for how we can be of service in these times. And I think maybe the pendulum has swung a little too far to individualism. We're in this world where we have to fight so hard to survive. And maybe this collective lesson is more about community and having each other's backs. And maybe the pendulum is swinging that way. And I think if a nagging emotional messenger is coming up that something isn't quite right, or you could relate more authentically, powerfully, or from love or service in these times, then listen to that and be open to how it shows up. It doesn't always have to be so literal. Sometimes spirit works in very roundabout ways that turn out to be even more beautiful than we could plan. I think too, like having this connection to spirit, especially within ourselves and being that channel first and foremost, is going to help people trust themselves, especially when they face opposition in their day-to-day life. When they're like, okay, I'm going to start doing things that are more aligned with my soul. you're almost always going to be immediately faced with a test or a trigger or someone being like, are you sure you're going to do that? Like, I don't think you should do that. You should really do this instead. And it's going to feel easier to live the life you've been living. But if it's against your soul, it's costing too much. And I think that's where people have to start to really wake up and say like, I have the power to shift this. And I also have the power to hold the boundary to not go back to the old ways, even though they feel easier. They're the paths that are most trodden at this point. Yeah. And sometimes making the new choice and alignment with power and love like feels like dying. Sometimes it's so uncomfortable because a version of us is dying and we are being reborn. So I think there can also be this sometimes misnomer in the spiritual space of like, it's always a full body, yes. But because the nervous system is so tied to our intuitive muscles, sometimes the nervous system is gonna be anxious as hell and our higher self is telling us what really feels aligned with love And sometimes it is clunky and scary to step into that space as well What about grief Would you consider that part of that process as well? Because I know at least for me, especially as I did so much healing through our inner child workshop this past season, it felt like my senses were firing on a higher level. Like I was, smells were stronger. I just felt a little bit more sensitive to things, which also made me feel almost like the polarity, like high highs, but also like deeper, sadder aspects of grief. Time passed, sadness for a family that maybe didn't have the experience that I would have wished for them. Just feeling everything everywhere all at once a little bit more. Have you experienced that as you're tapping into spirit more and more? The more sensitized you become, the deeper you feel. I think that as like a Scorpio sun and moon in the eighth house, I was like really afraid of my big emotions for a long time. And so I cut them off and that wasn't the answer either. And I think that we can get the message from the feelings. And then it's our choice if we want to co-create with them and stay in that space. And that like inner villain voice is going to keep being like, but isn't this so sad? But what about this? And once you get the message from it and you heard it and you regulate yourself and you understand what you needed to understand from that emotional messenger, then it's up to us if we want to stay in that space or not. But I do think that it is part of the human experience to feel the spectrum of emotions. And that's so beautiful from a spiritual perspective. I saw this really beautiful Sufi quote about grief that is so much more eloquent than what I could say right now, which is, and I'm sort of paraphrasing it because I don't remember exactly, but it's to the effect of when the personality or the mind grieves what it has lost, the soul rejoices in what it's found. And so I think that grief, it makes perfect sense. And I talk a lot about grief because I lost my mom in 2021 and I'm a medium and I hold space for people through grief. And it's really love that doesn't know where else to go and feels, well, you know, sad and it's so deep, but, and I think it shows us how connected to love we are. And I think all of these emotions are so beautiful, but through the process of exploring our grief, our soul truly finds treasure and gold and sees how powerful we are. And I always say the silver linings are proof of our guardian angels. And that truly through these moments that test us and show us how far we've come, our soul has grown so much in that process. And it might've been really uncomfortable for our mind and our inner child and our body, but for our soul, it's like, wow, my wings are spread. I feel like you are someone who's really good at both holding space for your emotions, but then also knowing when it becomes like that indulgent sense, when it is like, okay, this is no longer serving me. You're not someone who shoves down your emotions. You create space to feel them. What does that practice look like for you? Just to give an example for someone of like how they could relate to that differently. Yeah, I think it comes back to silence and spaciousness. The more I create space for silence and for anything to come up, the less the intense emotions need to get my attention because I'm listening. And I really believe that all of the heavy and happy emotions are messengers showing us getting our attention. And I know so many people, they come from families where that wasn't modeled for them how to talk or speak about emotions, where it feels really unsafe to feel the feelings. It's really interesting because I was just at like a spiritualist church in Santa Barbara and I was getting an energy healing. And I had been like having some lower back pain. And my angels were basically telling me like, this is actually tied to grief in your heart. And when you have grief in your heart, it puts your body in stress. There's tension and inflammation and rigidity in other parts of the body. And I think that science will catch up one day to how emotions affect physical health. They were basically saying like that opening of the heart and that processing of the grief has ripple effects in other parts of your mind and your body as well. And so I think like the more we can just allow ourselves to feel, the more that we are deep heart listeners, then our emotions can whisper and sort of scream at us. And if you're in a process of them screaming over and over and over, there needs to be Like take the amount of silence that you think you need and triple it. So good. I love that. I also probably needed that message personally. But it is interesting because I think my most healing practice that I've really just without any force talk about pull energy is my regular evening walks. It's usually at least an hour and it's a full dumping, processing, moving through. sometimes it's di's for 15 minutes then it's silence then maybe music that you know but like it is whatever it needs to be but i really do need that full hour while moving to get everything to move through and i didn't really understand why like i think initially i was like oh i just need to walk to like get my movement up but it has become my most spiritual practice yeah and i think for some of us it is really hard to just sit still for an hour i think walking without music and especially bonus points if there's nature, like that is such a great practice. And something I wanna offer the community too that I learned while I was studying at Arthur Finley College in the UK is the spiritualist practice of sitting in the power. And to me, this changed everything because I think the connotation of meditation is cerebral where it's kind of like clear your mind, empty your mind. And that was just torturous for me. I'm pretty sure I've undiagnosed ADHD. and I just couldn't do it. And also for me, clairsentient psychic feeling is my strongest psychic Claire. I think it's the most overlooked Claire, but I think everybody, it's one of their first Claire's that comes online. And it's amazing because you can see through feeling, you can hear through feeling, you can touch. Like it's very beautiful. It's kind of like how the hands are your second eyes. It's such a beautiful Claire. And I think it can be misunderstood. But sitting in the power is the practice of, It's the spiritualist version of meditation, except you're opening yourself to the power, which is really another way to say the spirit world. And I like to say sitting in the love of spirit instead of sitting in the power. When you shift that from clearing your mind to sitting in the love of spirit, it plugs you into a feeling. And don't be hard on yourself if you don't feel it right away, but you'll get to a place that when you do this practice, I can feel the love of spirit in a nanosecond if I tune into it. And so when you sit in the love of spirit, it's a felt experience that's more about the heart and the body. And I even sometimes tell my students to put their hand on their heart and bring their consciousness to this area out of the mind. The cobwebs are gonna come up, whatever it is, let it, don't fight it, just notice it. and then just open to the love of spirit. And to me, it's this like euphoric experience that can almost be addictive that feels a lot different than just clearing my mind because it's this felt experience attuning me to the love of spirit, feeling the love of spirit. And then sometimes when we're doing these practices, the blocks come up that show us what is blocking us from feeling the love of spirit and listen to that. It's all part of the process. That's where I transition out of sitting with the love of spirit and into what I call angel therapy. And angel therapy is when I'm having an off day. There are a lot of triggers going on. I'm like in my head. I'm my quote unquote not self. When that happens, I'm like, I'm not even going to try to sit in the love of spirit right now. I'm going to just open the container for conscious heart listening and ask my angels, how can I show up more powerfully? What is my lesson in this? What would you have me know right now? What do you need me to know, inner child? Full team on deck, what's coming up? And just listening to that. So good. I mean, it's really, it's like parts work meets every spiritual like presence teaching. Somehow the intention of just shifting like why I'm showing up and listening or why I'm sitting in meditation or sitting with the love of spirit, that just one degree of I'm doing it because of this, or I'm opening the door to this, or I'm open to this potential happening. I feel like it really does change the entire trajectory of the experience. 100%. And I think it takes the pressure off of it because just like you said, I watched Sabrina, the teenage witch, and I thought my powers were going to look a certain way. And it's the same as maybe people comparing themselves to me or other people in the spiritual path. Like some people are out here on YouTube being like, every time I meditate, I see Archangel Metatron and then they tell me detailed specific things and then we can like get into that comparison trap. I think it's so gentle and loving to just be present with the love of spirit and to sit in that and that's it. You're doing it right. Just sitting with that openness to love. And from there, your guides can give you the better guidance of your personal journey than I ever could. And you're opening to what they're going to tell you to do next. If there was one practice that I could recommend to you that has transformed my life more than anything else, it has been the 2B Magnetic work. Obviously I may be biased because I am the chief content officer. I'm the host of the podcast. I develop all the workshops with the brand, but it is also the tool that has helped my life the most. When I am in a season of doubt, when I'm in a season of fear or tests or triggers, when I am trying to get clarity on my next chapter, when I'm trying to design a life for my future that I want to be really deeply connected to my soul, to my potential, to my purpose, to my ambition. TBM houses all the tools and workshops that you need to connect deeper to yourself and not let your past patterning, your past programming, your limiting beliefs run the show anymore. Because every time I get tripped up on one of those things, it is always younger versions of myself coming in, taking the driver's seat and running rampant. And until I can connect with them through the TBM work and really learn to process it in a new way and recontextualize the things, that is when my life actually shifts and I reprogram my neural pathways to be in alignment with what I truly want, which is how you manifest. If you are interested in joining the pathway, we have a special offer for our podcast guests where you can get the first month for $20 and then join our annual membership. You can use this work through our various workshops that we teach you how to manifest. We go through an inner child program. There's a shadow program, one for rut, rock bottom, money, love, you name it, or you can use it as a daily tool to reprogram in the moment issues as they come up to reset your nervous system, give you high self-worth, reconnect with your magnetic self, or talk to your inner child part that may be in the way and running the show and self-sabotaging. So if you're getting the ping to join TBM, now's the time and you can use code EXPANDED, all caps, E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D for $20 off your first month to join the pathway. Talk a little bit about the Claire's because I think a lot of people are having different gifts start to come on or they're getting more curious about like, what are my gifts and how can they start to register them or notice them or find patterns in them, especially when they're first awakening? So the most common two clairs that my students report starting out with that I also started out with are feeling and knowing. Feeling to me is the most important psychic sense because all intuitive information comes with a feeling and that feeling is never fear or anxiety or trepidation. It's urgent. It's powerful. It's resonant. It's all of those things. It's settling. It's regulating, but it's never fearful. It doesn't mean that once you get the message and you have that full body knowing and feeling of resonance that then your mind might not ruminate on what that message means and it can like turn into fear in the mind. But as it's coming in, it's never fearful. And so I think like clairvoyance is kind of the Taylor Swift of psychic senses, for lack of a better analogy. Like it gets all the attention. Everybody's like, oh my God, clairvoyance, like I saw a vision. But seeing, hearing all of these things that are beautiful psychic senses. And as you continue to practice, they'll all come online and we all have access to all of them. Without feeling, it is missing a huge chunk. Like it's so easy for imagination to come in without the feeling. The feeling is what plugs us into knowing that it's psychic information and not imagination. It's almost like the other psychic senses. There's a mediumship teacher named Steve Henman, I think is his name. I don't agree with all of his teachings, but he said something that I really like, which is if you watched a movie, but you only had certain images or you only heard certain words, that's psychic information without the feeling. The feeling like plugs you in to the emotional experience, to what it means, to the fact that it is spirit. So just want to tell people like if you feel, if you're a strong feeler and clairsentience is your big one, don't be discouraged by that. I think it's so powerful. And so, yeah, I think noticing your Claire's, I think one of the biggest ways we sabotage is imposter syndrome coming up, judging ourselves, saying, am I just making all of this up? Is this really real? And I think you have to promise yourself that when you're in sacred space, when you're sitting in the power, when you're pulling cards, when you're journaling, allow yourself to be in the moment without that editor brain, that questioning brain. And, you know, it's a lot of the same mechanics as creativity. When we're in creative flow, it's like sister languages. Things are like being channeled through artists all the time. But if they let that inner editor voice edit the project, wonder how it's going to be received, question how they'll do X, Y, Z thing with it, it takes you out of the present moment. And so intuitive information, how you know it's intuitive information is always present, regulating solution oriented and I think that the best psychic and intuitive evidence and information is what surprises you because when it surprises you it shows that it's not your imagination guessing the next step which is so common okay so that's this kind of brings me to my next question as people are noticing these things come online my next thing is like well what do I do with this obviously you want to connect to yourself but if you're getting messages let's say someone messaged that they had been able to tell that some other person that they were interacting with was going through something and they were like am I supposed to tell them do I keep this to myself like why did I get this message and I guess that's kind of the next layer of this is as things start to come through how does someone discern and where do they go like you have a great program you can talk about too but like where do they go to understand like wait why is this coming online and why am I learning this information? Like, what do I do with this information? So some of the information, like picking up on a friend who's going through a bad day or a hard time, that might just be psychic information that you're picking up because you're close with that person instead of like a guide actually being like, Melissa is having a hard time at home. So sometimes we have to distinguish between psychic information and mediumship information. And I think if we learn something about someone through that, just the ethics of saying, okay, how can I make this not about me and how can I be of service for my friends? So if that's coming up, instead of being like needing validation for what came through for your own reasons, saying, hey, I just felt like checking in on you. How are you today? Do you want to get some coffee? Or just using that as an invitation for connection in a way that isn't about you. The second thing is that intuitive connection is everything. It connects us with our highest timeline in this life. It helps us find pathways new open solutions Like in the TBM community The pings are so powerful and they so important and they might surprise you And another way that intuition can show up is like a hunger for knowledge or resonance or things calling to us or grabbing our consciousness in different ways. So it's our GPS system. So that's what you do with it. You attune to it so that you're more sensitized to moving forward for the highest good and love and growth and authenticity. But I think also, so in my mentorship program, not everybody wants to do this work professionally. Some people are doctors that take this program. Some people are therapists. Some people are XY artists, but tapping into your connection with spirit and with your higher self and with your guides enriches every single area of life. It is going to help you show up more sensitively and attuned and empathetically. It's gonna give you action steps to fast track your manifestations. It's gonna show you the lessons and the soul themes as why these tests and lessons are coming up so much. It connects you into the answers that are available to all of us if we can learn how to listen. I love that you said too, like, this doesn't mean that you have to make your whole career this, like this isn't going to be everyone's career path and everyone can and should. And my hope is everyone can connect to that for themselves. Cause like what a beautiful way to interact with life in this lifetime. But I love that, that there's not like this. Okay. Once you realize this is coming online, now you have to start the track of learning how to do it professionally. you can imbue that into whatever pocket of the universe is already your passion, whether that's being a parent, being a doctor, whatever it is. It would be like saying, okay, I'm on my therapy healing journey. Now, what do I do with this? It makes you a better person. It helps you show up healed. And so I always say that this is the path of the deep heart listener and our heart is our GPS. And I always say like true abundance comes from the ability to give our heart what it asks for. and when we're connected to that like the mind can try to control things like the heart says I want love and the mind is like and only this person can give it to me and so I'm going to attach to that and control that whereas this intuitive development journey is like actually mind you're not holding the reins of control anymore I'm deeply connected to my heart I'm cutting below the noise getting to the source cutting out the middleman and moving in alignment with the GPS system of my heart I feel like this is our philosophy behind TBM and the work that our community does is that it is manifestation that connects you to this first. It sees this soul connection. If you guys are not watching the video, I'm like holding my heart. It has you connect here and get more comfortable and helping you get rid of the cobwebs and big emotional layers to connect here before you start seeking your manifestation because everyone's manifesting all the time. You can manifest from ego, from this, from that, especially if you're expanding, unblocking, believe that you're worthy for that thing, et cetera, taking the aligned action. But what does that bring you? It's more of the ego mirror in consciousness. And so if we can start the process from the heart, from our authenticity, from our soul, from our purpose in this season, in this moment, then you can manifest the magic. Then you can manifest something that's going to actually help the collective and change your life and make you feel more fulfilled and all the things. But it really is about starting here because if we don't check in here, I'm kind of like, what's the point of that? Let's, why are we even doing that? Like, don't go down that route. And I think that it's so on the money and I just, I vibe with TBM so, so much. Like there's so much beautiful resonance. I think that what I see in so many of my client sessions is people get to a place where life isn't feeling good anymore. And what we're talking about with connecting with your heart is feeling, not thinking. Thinking has a place. Thinking is great. It's just that it's so out of balance and overused in this society. And so when you get to a place where life isn't feeling good anymore, that is the surefire sign that you're not following your heart or listening to your heart that you're living from should or a carefully crafted plan that your mind thinks will keep you safe. And I actually think that when you're feeling stuck and blocked and life isn't feeling good anymore, it's a surefire sign that you've healed and grown, that you've outgrown the story that your head is saying will meet your needs and your heart is open enough to actually create something more authentic. And intuitive development is the process of getting in touch with that so that you don't, going back to what you said, Jessica, about the need to connect to ourself. Our heart is like where that self is. And when we aren't connected to our intuition, when we aren't making space for silence and spaciousness, when we aren't listening, that's when every opinion online gets to us. That's when we outsource our power and look for answers everywhere outside of us, instead of having the tools and practice to come back inside. It's where we externally validate. It's where we source our safety with the outside world, our self-worth with the outside world, how much we can reach our potential with the outside world. It's like fully, fully giving our power away. And this is the way to connect to it in such a deep level. And I think so much of our society, and especially if you look at people in very successful, I say based off of like old paradigm of what someone materialistically thinks is success, so much of it, if you hear the stories of the people are rooted in their survival frameworks, they're like, I felt stuck here. I wasn't going to live that life anymore. So I'm going to force myself through. And I know if I do that, I won't have to deal with those survival emotions. But then there's always a tipping point where their body catches up or their soul catches up. And they're like, this doesn't feel good anymore. The material things don't feel like I thought they were going to feel the sense of security that my mind thought was a surefire way to feel safe and secure is not feeling safe and secure. I'm lost. And that is where it's like the connection to soul, the sooner you can recognize that that's actually going to give you the thing and that you can build whatever dream world you want to build. But if you can get really clear and deepen that connection year after year after year, like that is what's going to give you that ultimate feeling of fulfillment and safety. So then you can have the self-worth and the safety to manifest whatever you want to manifest. It does feel like, yeah, of course I can do that because I don't need for that to fulfill what I was lacking. And it shows that the need has been met, that whatever you thought those material things would meet for you, that need was met. And it just shows that a new need, whether it's authenticity or coming back down to let your heart open again, whatever it is, like a new need is ready to be revealed. And that's why the emotional messenger of stagnancy, stuckness, heaviness is coming up to get your attention. So good. Okay, wait, last thing that was pinging me. There's so much astrology this year that's going nuts and you're so versed in all of that stuff. Is there anything on your heart about the astrology of this year that you think our community needs to know or that's coming through or you feel like you want to share? Yes, I think this is so big and so important. And I first want to say that I take a very angelic approach to astrology, meaning I really believe that free will and how we meet the present moment is more important than anything else, like any part of our birth chart. And I think sometimes with like how big and intense the astrology is, it can be so easy to like fear monger and get into this like doom and gloom consciousness. But just remember, like, we are the creators. We are the creators. And all of this doom and gloom astrology might be showing us the shadow that we're ready to overcome to create something more beautiful. But I will say, like, when this comes out is February. And February is a heck of a month. Like, we are starting 2026 off really strong. And I feel called to talk about Neptune and Saturn's conjunction because they're a pretty big energetic signature of 2025 and 2026 and energetically I've been seeing 2025 and 2026 as two parts of the same whole so it's like one chapter because the planets are doing really similar things. Neptune and Saturn are like complete opposite polarizing forces that have been conjoined. I think that we see that polarization on earth right now and I think that we also are seeing it in ourself. And it can be very dysregulating, the different pieces of ourselves. And Neptune is like dissolving boundaries, spirit, higher love. And it can also be like secrets, escapism. Those are like the shadow side, addiction. And then Saturn is like boundaries, discipline, karma, time, lessons, rigidity, structure. And I feel like there's a greater spiritual message of like, neither of those forces are wrong. And I think that like astrology holds up such a beautiful mirror to humanity. And I feel like humanity is always like, this is the ultimate truth. And if we all don't agree on it, you're stupid. And we like go into these really intense places, which I understand. And I think the astrology of Neptune and Saturn dancing in polarity together is highlighting a bigger message around integrating the best of both worlds instead of letting the polarity rip us apart, finding the best of both and finding, and knowing that this is a big chapter of integration of different parts of us. And the other thing I wanna say too, that's really interesting to me about 2026 is that there's three Mercury retrogrades and they're all in water signs. So this month, February, Mercury will be retrograde in Pisces. and then there's one in July in Cancer, it's either June or July and then Scorpio season in Scorpio. This conversation couldn't be more in tune with what the universe is telling us with those Mercury retrogrades where we're so used to the fire element of our anger and our outrage and our passion. We're so used to earth and like manifestation and money and creation and goals. We're so used to air of like technology and connection and ideas and like quickness. And I think that Mercury being retrograde in all three water signs is like, hey, you also have to feel. And how can we go back and review and assess and look at our relationship to emotion, intuition, depth, and letting ourselves feel our feelings so that we can crack open to deeper compassion? The one word that kept like ringing in my mind as you were talking was like, we need to be more mutable with the different parts of selves. And I've definitely felt that that inner conflict of like, this is how I've always done things. This feels normal to, but I'm also being awakened into this more fluid, trusting heart, like exactly what you were saying between the Saturn and Neptune energies. And one thing I'm recognizing is picking up on when my, it's probably inner child parts, wants to know the answer between the two. What do I need to do? And I think the real healing is catching that pull of wanting to do that and saying like, there is no truth. You have to pull from what you want here and what you want here and what is going to feel the best for you moving forward versus an undeniable truth because choose either path and you can have different experiences on either one. But what it's actually asking is like, can you sit with the discomfort of not having certainty? It's a level of nervous system regulation to feel safe in duality. It's like we just want to know and we just want to have one answer. And it meets our needs to have one answer and never question it. And our sense of safety and community is totally uprooted if we question it. And I think that it's really interesting how these two planets are teaching big lessons around that. And I also have been telling my community, like Saturn meeting up with Neptune is a major mental health warning. and it can cause a lot of like disillusions and what's real and what's not or feeling a little lost, feeling a little heavy, like a sense of ennui even. So just, I think that with the North Node in Pisces, your keyword of mutable is dead on because we are shifting toolboxes right now. That's why I also think that this talk is so timely because the South Node in Virgo is moving away from like worry, overthinking fear grasping control to the north node in virgo which is shifting from thinking our way through life to feeling our way through life which is not modeled for us really or encouraged or taught it's dismissed it's seen as weak you know patriarchy hurts all people men women everyone with that myth i think right now with pisces the north node it's like how can we be more in the present moment, in touch with our feelings and letting your life be the summation of present moment alignment instead of like a big plan that we try to push ourselves into. Oh, so good, Taylor. Okay, where can people connect with you? What programs are you offering right now? Yeah, just share all the things. I've been a busy lady. There's a lot to say. The first thing is I'm creating a really powerful, one of its kind workshop called Healing the Spirit Wound. We touched about it a little bit in this episode of just this spiritual victim consciousness. This is really for people who are afraid of spirit, who are afraid of their own intuitive gifts. And when you have that fear, it makes it really hard for you. Like Lacey says, that subconscious fear blocks your manifestation. And if you're manifesting strong pings and strong intuition, but you fear spirit, there's a big block there. So I'm creating a three-part mediumship workshop called Healing the Spirit Wound. That's all about reprogramming that, reclaiming our power, and also opening to our own mediumship gifts, which I'm so excited about. So you can use code TVM333 for $33 off of it. You can find it at angelsandamethyst.com. We're going to start on the full moon eclipse, of course, on March 3rd. And then I also have my mentorship program, Becoming the Oracle, that we were talking a little bit on here. I take eight mentees at a time. I'm currently in round two. And then as you sign up on angels and amethyst.com, I'll look at your form. I'll email you. We can be in touch. And I have a few UK, EU and Australia people that want to take it. So I'm waiting for people around the world to join those cohorts so that they can be on the same time zone. So it is open internationally as well. You can also book a reading with me at angelsandamethyst.com. And then I have my own podcast, Magic Hour podcast with Taylor Page, in case you're interested in this type of intuitive, spiritual, grounded in evidence and ethics space. So good. Thank you, Taylor. Such a pleasure as always. Thank you so much for having me. I know I have a lot of homework to do to connect with a lot of the intuitive messages that I know want to come through me right now. And one of the ways that I'm going to start doing that, and I started this week actually since Taylor and I had recorded, was our reset Deep Imagining. This one's a gem. We made this like two or three years ago with Janelle Nelson, licensed marriage and family therapist, somatic practitioner, EMDR practitioner. and we said to her, what are the most heavy hitting nervous system regulating techniques that will help you drop into your body and kind of ask any part of you, any chatter, any fear that's very loud in your voice to kind of step to the side for a moment. And that's what this Reset DI is. So you can find it in our app, just search Reset. If you check out the calming deep imaginings, it's in there as well. It's in our nervous system playlist. but this one is like some of the best tools. It's the voo, it's the breath, it's the body, it's the grounding into the scenario. And honestly, just 15 minutes doing that and then being like, okay, universe, like what are the messages you wanna share afterwards? Magic, magic, so much comes through. So definitely check that out. You can check out any of our nervous system playlist. Those are amazing for just clearing the noise, clearing the voices, clearing the fear so you can then come back in and tap into that intuitive knowing within you. See you next week.
