I do short form spotlight episodes where we pick great artists from around the world who we think are fantastic and today we are working with Lady Lake Entertainment artists, David Martinez from Corpus Christi, Texas. He is an amazing, amazing artist and just so you know if you're looking for a great independent music promoter, Lady Lake Entertainment is the best one on the planet. Planet Earth, nobody is better. So David Martinez, you guys, he's from Corpus Christi, Texas. His music has aired on independent and terrestrial radio coast to coast internationally. He's from Texas so he's been played on lots of Texas stations including C 101 rocks, 94.7 jalapeno country, Kingsville Community Radio, Radio Free, Texas, KIT 98 El Paso and on AM 1670 in San Antonio. He has a great catalog of music. His rock music has been used in an independent film. He's been nominated for a KICMA Country Music Award and he's received even Latin press for one of his songs. Something real is awards include Artists of the Year on Independent Corner with DJ Daniel Hate on Indy 104 and he's had prominent placement in the prestigious independent share top 40 Artists of the Year compiled by DJ Dave Davis. So he's shared the stage with some musical greats, Ian Moore, Valerio, Billy Joe Shaver, Johnny Rodriguez and the Statesboro Review. He's appeared on tour at the Viper Room and City Winery in Boston and he's also which actually took place at the Lady Lake Showcase with roster greats Lori Diamond and Fred Abitelli who are also amazing artists. He's a South Texas regular at the Executive Surf Club in Rockets and he has a bustling schedule of local and regional shows. He's recorded three professional albums and done four US tours. He's super duper talented. The first song I think that I had heard, no, maybe not the first but one of the songs that I've heard that I've loved and let me know, let you know, like David's been on the Jimmy Starshow with Ron Russell twice and we don't bring on anybody if they're not a super talent but he's got this song here to stay.
