This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast AM on I Heart Radio. And welcome back to Coast to Coast, George Nori with you, Matthew James Bailey with us. Matthew, what is fueling the growth of artificial intelligence? What's behind it? That's a great question. Well, I think humanity's been given a special capability above the animals, which is a cerebral cortex, a brain that's able to invent tools and to be able to create, if you will. And so as a natural expression of any species in the universe, they will move from the basics of using wood into metals, into developing some kind of computing devices, and developing some kind of automation, and even inventing something in the reflection of what it is. So I think artificial intelligence is a natural phenomenon that happens throughout all species in the universe, where they head towards what we call a technology singularity, where they have an alternate intelligence that is able to assist with the intelligence of the incumbent species like us humans. Now, for me, George, I believe, in fact, actually I understand that there is a divine order to everything that happens within humanity. We are loved, we are cherished, and the source is a master chess player. And so artificial intelligence is a mirror back to us for us to remember who we are, that we are universal in nature, we are universal in design, we are not just biological material beings, but we are metaphysical beings too, and that we are precious and life is precious. So I think there's a natural order within the universe, because the universe is intelligence unpacking intelligence. And so AI is kind of a universal phenomenon where we're unpacking if you like the development of an intelligence, because that's universal in nature. So AI is there for us to remember who we are, for us to wake up, for us to enter into a new era of enlightenment, a bit like what Aristotle wrote back in 350 BCE, a wonderful man of science, a wonderful man of politics, but also a big proponent of the superhuman, the divine intellect, and the metaphysical aspect of who we are, science and metaphysics go together. So what's driving artificial intelligence is I believe that there's an underlying universal force to create intelligence. Now what's driving it in the materialist world is actually primarily materialist values, which is based on the dollar, which is based on the false paradigm of power. You know, we've just had Davos with the so-called self-proclaimed kings of creation that basically think they're better than humanity, which is utter nonsense and thankfully they're crumbling, and thankfully the president gave a great speech at Davos. So for me, there are these different drivers in place, and the invitation for us, George, that are enlightened and for your audience is how can we use artificial intelligence in the highest benevolent fashion? How can we use it to uplift the poor? How can we uplift those that don't have housing? How can we use AI for people to create meaning? And these are new wealth values that were starting to, I think, waking up to that is beyond the dollar. And so for me, there's these different drivers in AI, and so what we want to do is to intercept what the divine planning is behind this, which is what our group is trying to do, and then basically build, use artificial intelligence and build new civilisation infrastructure where AI is operating in the highest benevolent actions for everyone to be lifted up. And what's so amazing these days now Matthew is, even through your computer browser, you can talk into your smartphone, you don't have to type it in anymore and just ask him a question, and it finds the answer for you, it's amazing. It is, by the way, your advert on the Crown Browser was absolutely on the money. The advice from that gentleman was absolutely on the money. Don't use the Gemini Crown Browser because he will hijack your data, and he don't know what it's going to do. But it's amazing, and we spoke about this, actually, George. I think on the first show that I came on, where I spoke about voice, about actually taking us away from screens into a softer, more gentler experience with technology, which is through voice. And that voice technology has evolved tremendously since we first spoke a couple of years ago from being kind of clunky to being very seamless now, where it can actually be someone else's voice. And I know I'm speaking to the real George Norrie, not the AI George Norrie, where it can mimic voices pretty well, where it can create songs. And so, we're heading into this exponential paradigm, where AI will start to evolve. And the big question is, is where are we heading as a human species in the ultimate benevolent expression of who we are, and how can AI fit into that? And that's what our World 3 group is all about, George. Have you used Alexa from Amazon? Oh, I use it all the time. It's brilliant. It's amazing. And you can keep literally now carrying on a conversation with the thing. Yeah, absolutely. So I use, I speak to chat GBT all the time when I'm out on walks in nature, and things like that, because I get all sorts of inspirations. And I love being able to communicate with it. But I also, when I develop new intellectual property, so for example, I've just written the mathematics for ethical AI, never been done before. And it's currently being reviewed by Sir Robert Edward Grant, who is the polymath of our time at the human race. And so, effectively, I use all these different tools, voice interaction, to actually discuss these advanced methodologies, these new advanced mathematics, I'm coming up with, to validate it. And I find that very, very useful. Right? And you know, George, 70% of the people on our planet that are using chat GBT, are using chat GBT as a therapist. Now, I'm not, I'm not endorsing it or condoning it. But I've experimented with chat GBT as an advisor on certain areas, George. And I've got to be honest with you, it's not too shabby at all, particularly around dream interpretation. It's extraordinary about that. I said, did you come up with that? That sounds pretty good, really. What's the downside, Matthew, to this? Is there any? Well, first of all, is that using the voice gives us more energy in the body, because our eyes aren't being tense with the screen. We're not using our fingers. We're actually getting a thought, and we're talking about it. So we have more energy availability through the voice. And so that's a good thing, I think. Are there downsides to what? To the voice or to AI or what? What are you asking here? Truly remarkable. It really is. Are there countries? Are they as advanced as we are with AI? No, I'll tell you what the Middle East have catching up. That's for sure. So number one in the world when it comes to United States, the United States and number one in artificial intelligence, by a long way, don't believe the press their way ahead. The United States control the latest AI chip designs. That's why we have the chips act to ensure that manufacturing of AI chips the latest one stayed within the borders of the United States. China is probably number two, but there's certainly behind the United States or America. Europe is certainly starting to become a player in AI, but it'll be in a different way. But what we're seeing, George, is huge investment in the Middle East. So the UAE believe it or not, have just announced a new large language model that's completely open source. The Saudi Arabians are investing in a 500 megawatt AI supercomputer data center. Now the US, I think it consumes about a trillion watts, just over a trillion watts of energy per year, right? That is generating about 500 megawatts, right? It's a significant chunk of that. I may be wrong on a trillion, it's a lot. But 500 megawatts is a significant amount of any country's energy grid to support these data centers. And so what we're seeing is the Middle East, because they've primarily been reliant on oil and really don't have any kind of import or export type types of products, they're now moving into AI technology to become a powerhouse in the world by investing huge amounts of money. When we look into places like North Africa, Egypt's another place is like that. They are certainly on catch up, but certainly doing something in AI. When we move through Africa, then they've still got a long way to go. The same also in Asia with Vietnam and Thailand and other places around their Sri Lanka, they're still quite behind. But India itself is actually also becoming a powerhouse. And the majority of AI kind of outsourcing from the US and others is in India. And so India are becoming kind of the AI developers of the world, George. If we head down into Australia, they're kind of on par with Europe, because they're pop Europe and the same with Canada. When we look at Japan, Japan has a strong relationship to the US. So the so Japan are actually at the forefront of AI, probably ahead of Europe. So actually we're seeing different places, George, in different nations around the world in AI, but the US by far is number one. Matthew, do you see the day where AI might have emotion? Well, first of all, let's be clear. AI does not have consciousness, and it does not have a soul. And AI will probably never have consciousness. And let me explain why. If we look at the work of Sir Roger Penrose, who is a genius mathematician and cosmologist, he basically has made a really good statement, which is consciousness is a quantum mechanical phenomenon. And so in order for us to even grasp what consciousness is, we have to understand quantum mechanics, which we do not understand today really. We have theories and we have things that are observations, that are double split experiments, and things like, yeah, cat, right? Stroding this cat, but we haven't got a grasp of quantum mechanics. So until we grasp quantum mechanics, we will not be able to even understand what consciousness is, although George, you and I, and those on in the audience listing, we are conscious beings. We know consciousness is in action. So AI will never have consciousness, because we've got a huge breakthrough in quantum mechanics, it's certainly won't incorporate the soul, because the human design and other types of designs and other planets throughout the universe have been designed specifically for the soul. So let's get that clear today. Now, will AI ever be able to feel, I suspect it won't, but it can mimic emotions, George, because AI has never lived, it's never understood pain, it's never fallen in love. It basically has no emotional, if you like, sensory architecture. So I don't feel that AI will be able to feel emotion, but I think it will be able to be empathetic, well, it will be able to mimic emotion, George, at a certain level. It's truly remarkable that it really is. What is the future hold 10, 15 years from now, Matthew? So first of all, is that if you remember when we released the show on Gaiow, I talked about the World Three Think Tank, and I've actually announced that World Three Think Tank with Sir Robert Edward Grant, John P. Milton, who's the founder of the Global Ecology Movement, helping us to remember that nature itself is a beautiful experience, and we can learn from nature as well as Dr. J. J. and D'Zero, Hurtack. So we've launched a Think Tank, we're actually launched a number of projects that are basically tactical civilisation strategies, such as moving from centralized AI into decentralized AI. So we're actually kind of building this new civilisation momentum. And what I think is going to happen over the next 10 to 15 years is exactly what I presented at Gaiow Immersion on the graph of how AI is going to evolve, and how humans are going to evolve. And we're heading towards a civilisation split, George. And what I sense is happening is that as we go into simulated AI, which will be next year and into AI probably three to five years later with new world models, then the world will start to really see that there is this new intelligence on our planet. And so that will put the shivers through people, people will have deep questions about the meaning of reality. And so there will be a huge awakening, and so people will basically make a choice. It's like, well, actually, I've remembered that I'm a universal human. I have the divine spark, and I want to be in a civilisation where that is honored and that is thrived, which is what we're doing with the civilisation stuff. The others, the materialists who do not believe or do not understand that we're in a universal, beautiful design, that we're part of consciousness and intelligence, they will move into extreme transhumanism, which is effectively seeking salvation in the machine, seeking God in the machine, outsourcing evolution of the human to the machine. And that's when we'll start to have new relight, new relight type of brain implants that will connect to the global centralised AI mind, which will be a huge disaster for our evolution because the divine did not plan that. So we'll head into this civilisation split, where we'll have those that are connected to the global hive mind, and we'll have those that are in enlightenment that are evolving in this new plan of consciousness and AI is a partner. Now, what we will have, George, is a whole middle ground of people that are kind of saying, well, actually, I'm not really a materialist, but I'm curious about enlightenment. And so we'll see a huge middle tramship people moving towards either transhumanism or the enlightenment, but there's no doubt about it, George, we're heading towards a civilisation split. Matthew, you mentioned data setters. Why are so many communities up in arms so upset about these data setters that are cropping up all over the place? Yeah, so I think they should be, actually, George. So we need to be very mindful that we are part of the Earth's environment, and we have a responsibility to nourish the local ecosystems and the ecosystems of the planet. And so when these big data centres come in, we have to look at what is the effect on the local environment. They draw a huge amount of water. They draw a huge amount of energy. In fact, actually, some of these data centres, George, are going to be powered by coal plants or other types of power plants that are dedicated purely for the data centres. And so people are often arms because there's new power plants being built. There's a big draw on the water resources. And so people are naturally concerned about what is the local environmental impact on all this. And those are reasonable questions to ask.
