Jesus reached out his hand and touched the leper and said, of course I want to heal you. Be healed. And instantly all signs of leprosy disappeared. Jesus touched the leper before he healed him. This is an excellent picture of how Jesus knows our needs and he meets us there. In a culture that ostracized the sick, he knew the man needed to be touched as much as he needed to be healed. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If he understood and met the needs of people thousands of years ago, he can and will do the same today. God created you in a specific way with specific needs. If you have a lack of a healthy touch in your life, Jesus sees you. He is aware of your hurt and he has not abandoned you. Through His Spirit, He can reach the broken parts of your life and heal them with His touch. Through every season of life, He is capable of compensating for whatever you are lacking. God, You know exactly what I need. Thank You for seeing me and providing for me. Take the broken parts of my life and make them whole with Your miraculous touch.
