Hosts Bea and Amanda discuss the premiere of Real Housewives of Rhode Island, introducing the new cast and their scandals including affairs, domestic violence allegations, and sugar baby relationships. They also cover drama from Summer House spin-off In the City, featuring Amanda's alleged affair with West, Kyle's threats, and Danielle's relationship with a married man.
Insights
- Reality TV casting prioritizes scandal and conflict over authentic friendships, with production actively seeking and incorporating viewer-submitted intel into storylines
- New franchise launches benefit from fresh faces and diverse drama rather than established relationships, as evidenced by positive reception to Rhode Island's varied cast
- Social media following and influencer status (1.2M followers) doesn't guarantee financial stability or relationship success in reality TV contexts
- Production involvement in cast members' lives extends beyond filming to monitoring social media, relationships, and coordinating with fan communities for story development
- Compartmentalization of relationships—maintaining different friend groups for reality TV versus real life—may indicate performative rather than authentic cast dynamics

Welcome to Cocktails and Gossip, the podcast where we drink cocktails, but you better believe we're going to spill the tea. We chat reality TV, celebrity blinds and the hottest tea from bravo and cocktails.com. And as always, it's all alleged and just for fun. We do not verify our blinds. I'm Bea and I'm Amanda. Let's get into this week's tea. What's up, cocktails? Hello, Amanda. Hi, Bea. Hi, cocktails. I am wondering, okay, so Bea, you have been in Florida. How is it going? What are you doing? It's amazing. Tons of friends, family down here. We're all hanging on the beach, hanging at the pool, meeting up for drinks. It's so fun and I wish I could freeze this age for my kids because it's such a nice mix of them not being babies, but still not being full-on teenagers where they can go off on their own. It's a really nice combination. We're still all together, but I'm able to chill and relax and they can go off for a little bit. Yeah, I just imagine you there on every meal that you've got 40 people at your table. You know what? We didn't. We tried not to go crazy this year and we all have been doing our own thing for dinner, but there's still groups of us. You know what I'm saying? We'll meet up and the kids will get ice cream. Because you know how Florida is, there's these little hubs. Delray has one, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano, and they have a kill wins, which is an ice cream place down here, and a pizza place, and a Mexican place. It's like we can all split up and then meet up. Yeah, so fun. It's cool. It's very cool. I also wanted to mention tons of new cocktailers. Every week, Amanda and I do an extra pod that is only for subscribers. This week, we actually dropped it a little early, a day early, because it was just so much going on with the summerhouse scandal that we wanted it to be fresh and out there. And it really is soup to nuts and it's a lot of stuff, a lot of details that people will like to know. So a reminder, if you haven't joined and you've been considering, please do use our code, mytreet, M-Y-T-R-E-A-T, first month $5. After that, it's $7.50 a month. With that, you don't only get the posts, you get the extra pod, you get our Discord channel where all of our cocktails chat with each other, you get a monthly Zoom with Amanda and I that is in a word wild, and a bunch of other goodies come with that subscription. It's not just posts, which I think is the confusion with people. So many new cocktailers signed up and they're like, oh my god, I didn't realize that we get an extra pod and Discord and all of this. I'm like, yes, it's a whole shebang. Exactly. Exactly. So yeah, and the people, I have to compliment this new wave of cocktailers because people have been coming in and immediately signing up for Discord, which is fantastic. And so we've gotten a bunch of new Discord voices and names and personalities, which makes it super fun because everyone's got like a slightly different point of view on a lot of things. And it's so interesting just to see what people are thinking really real time. Love it. So guys, tuning our own horns, the In the City trailer, which is the spin off from Summer House dropped and it featured posts from our website, BravoAndCocktails.com. We will get to that in a little bit, but wanted to bring that up at the top because we're very excited and flattered to be featured on the show. So excited. So we have so far our Real Housewives of New Jersey, Winter House, In the City, Summer House. It's ending up. I probably am forgetting a couple. And guys, you guys knew that Cringy Danielle would be back. Cringy Danielle, which- And we're going to get to all of that later, but we have to start with Rhode Island. I'm going to go Amanda, we're going to go lady by lady and just talk about what we know, what we've heard, just so you guys have some context as you dive in to this new franchise, Real Housewives of Rhode Island. So excited, a long time in the making. I remember back to the days we got our first email, speaking of which I never posted that New Mexico email. Yeah. Another New Mexico email. I have to find that and post that today. Yeah, because it's- We can talk about it now really quick. I will admit, you guys, a second this announcement comes out, I will admit that I am wrong. I'm not going to admit it yet because it hasn't come out, but we've been told that there will be an announcement about the Real Housewives of New Mexico. Notice it doesn't say Santa Fe or Albuquerque or wherever, just of New Mexico, that it will come out, they think probably around up fronts, which I believe is in May. And I have to post this because I'm going to read it very quickly. We got this a couple days ago, but the tea has been flowing. There's so much stuff we get that we forget to post. Also important to listen to the pod because we do always talk about it. Right. So from Princess Vicki of Gumbelsen, email notvicki at gumbelsen.com. Oh, remind me later, there's something I want to chat about with Vicki. Okay. Tea there. I'll make a note. Real Housewives of New Mexico announcement is imminent. Casting for Real Housewives of New Mexico is being finalized and I am losing my mind. This is happening. Real Housewives of Rhode Island's reception did what it had to do and Bravo got the memo. Random cities are the key of success. Salt Lake, Potomac and now Rhode Island. They always go harder than anywhere else and New Mexico was about to make them all look tame. Old money versus new money. Art world drama. Green Chile, Dynasty Wives. Catholic guilt, meaning Christian healing at the reunion table. We are so fed. If all goes well, expect an announcement around NBC Upfront. Love it. It was so exciting. I'm so excited. I am ready. Before we get into all the ladies of Rhode Island, I know that I first had the thought. I know most people have had the thought that it's a little hard to tell everybody apart because they are all brunettes. We did a graphic at BravoAndCocktails.com. Just go to the site. Just search Real Housewives of Rhode Island or just Rhode Island and it should pop up. We did a little graphic to help you remember and to help you tell apart who everybody is. I will make sure to repost that every time the days of the show, Rhode Island airs. I have to say, I don't know if it's because I'm very used to being around Italians and Greeks and kind of women who look this way, but I didn't find it so hard. I do think Liz looks a lot like Dolores, but with a different shape face, like more angular. Dolores is more around. They really look alike. You do have to do a double take in some scenes, but you can tell them apart. You know who I get confused sometimes and have to really look is Rosie, the reporter, and Kelsey, the sugar baby. Those two. Someone has blue eyes. It's like a Jesse and Demi thing from The Roads of the Island. I was much more confused with those girls than I am with the Rhode Island Housewives. I don't know why. You still can't get over it. I can't. It's the hails. Years later. I can't. Okay. So we're going to start with Liz. Elizabeth McGraw. She is described by Bravo as Rhode Island's cannabis queen. She co-owns and operates a dispensary with her husband Jerry. She is a social force dominant figure in the state's social scene. She has married 11 years and stepmother Jerry's three daughters. One of the daughters is newly pregnant and we see the family celebrating at the grandparents house. There are rumors of a torrid affair that she has firmly denied with a man named Dino, who's she describes as being like a little brother and explaining that she leans on him for support while her husband is away. Okay. Liz is also shown dropping major allegations to production about Rula's husband's affair. Also about this guy Dino, a cocktail abroad to my attention. His baby mother is also- Erin Fernandez's. Yeah. Who was a patriot who is now dead and he because he went to jail for murder. Yeah. Yeah. And we have a post somewhere, but there is something about mafia ties and I think it's Dino. Interesting. I gotta find that one. But so quickly before we- Mafia. Well, while you're looking that up and before we move on, do you think that if you found Liz did in your social media a picture of somebody you know's husband kissing them, don't you think you would tell somebody I would? I don't know that I would go to the woman and I don't, but I might send them to him. I don't know. I feel like I would want to know. Of course. Listen, if I were casually scrolling and on my for you page on Instagram, there was a picture of a woman in the neighborhood that I was acquaintances with, because that's what I think their relationship was. Their kids went to daycare together. Yeah. I would immediately, if I were good friends with the person, I would call them up obviously. And if I were an acquaintance, I would screenshot it and send it to the mom that I am best friends with that knows her. I think Jola is probably just mostly catching heat because she's known for being gossipy is my theory because honestly, I would never kill them. I would never shoot the messenger in that situation. I would be like, thank you. I needed to know that. Yeah. 100%. Regarding the mafia one, I didn't put the person's name in this. One of the Rhode Island women filming has connections to the mafia. Her godfather was John Gotti. I asked her if it was junior or senior Gotti. She's not sure. Okay. I guess this is whoever's telling her. She ships in palm trees and puts them around her pool in the summer. She lives in North Providence in a raised ranch. We'll have to figure out which one that is. But oh, could that be Alicia? Because isn't Alicia the one who lives? Yeah, maybe in Providence. Oh, that could be Alicia. I can't think of who else does. So we'll have to figure that out. Okay. My favorite part about Liz is she said, people say I'm scary. I thought I find that so funny. I love that she runs with a little bit bitchy, a little bit scary, which I just find funny. And yeah, she looks so much like Dolores. So we then met this week. She's kind of positioned to be a matriarch. What's that? I said Liz's position to be the matriarch. I think she's the eldest. She seems like the boss of the group. Yeah, definitely. So we have Rula, who we met this week. We've known about her for a while because we've been getting lots of tea on her. She is a certified financial planner and wealth manager and mother. There is, we will see more about her Lebanese roots, her family focus, her high professional profile. We're going to see her storyline about the rumors around her husband, Brian Panarelli, the podiatrist, that he did have a mistress, may still have a mistress. It's told to Rula on camera. We're hearing about this. We had Intel because apparently there was a big blowout fight about this topic during Filme. And we shared this back in October in cocktail party, but to remind everyone, Rula's husband was arrested on October 3rd for domestic violence. He was processed, arraigned, and released pending a future date. The update to that is that he was accused of placing an electronic device. Without consent, it was on his wife's car. He's a podiatrist in North Providence, although the ladies think he's doing more than feet. Social media pages connect him, obviously to Rula, it's his wife. And court documents show she filed a no contact order. This is all back in October. So the update to that is that her husband was with her at her first watch what happens live appearance this week or last week. And a friend of theirs reached out to say, they're fine and happily still together. This was a while ago. Rula didn't realize it was a domestic offense, but she found the tracker because she had to take it to the state police. No consent is automatically filed once it's a domestic charge. A mess. A whole mess. Sorry, I don't care if they're doing fine now. It is incredibly messy. And prior to this, I did not realize that putting a tracker on a car is a domestic violence offense. And as a matter of fact, my cousin shout out to my cousin, she'll know who I am, joked about one of her friends saying that she were going to do that to an ex. And I was like, no, don't do that. She will be arrested. It's a domestic violence offense, at least in Rhode Island, I assume in New York. I don't know, but not a good idea. Yeah, definitely don't do that. Okay. So then we have Kelsey, who is the sugar baby, as I mentioned to earlier. She has also done a lot of pageant stuff. She was former Miss Rhode Island. She also works as a makeup artist and beauty pageant alum, I'm guessing coach. She has lived for almost 10 years in a relationship with a much older, unnamed Rhode Island figure. But of course, we cocktailers know who he is. So his name is John Caprio. His father is the late judge Frank Caprio. If you guys, you'll know who he is. If you think about social media clips where somebody is struggling to pay a parking ticket or whatever, because they're down on their luck and he's been known as the kind and forgiving judge. Their whole family has a law firm in the area as well that I believe John's daughter is involved with as well. John, the boyfriend, also has another girlfriend and he lives with the other girlfriend the other half of the year in Miami. So far in the first two episodes, rumors are going around that Kelsey also has another boyfriend. We love mess. I think everyone doesn't quite know what to think of this. People always want to label stuff. So people have said her relationship is unorthodox, polygamous, polyamorous. What we're hearing just from the press, obviously, his identity is not fully disclosed on camera. So cocktailers don't say anything. His name is a secret. Apparently on social media, he and his daughter are denying it, but it's okay. The home is likely in his name. She's living there. Who else could it be? It seems silly to deny it. My guess is by next season, they're either not together now or won't be next season is my guess. I find it odd and I think she's pretty honest where she's, listen, I was 19. He has taken care of me for 10 years. I live in this gorgeous house. As I'm now approaching 30 or turned 30, I want my own man. I want a monogamous relationship. I want all of those things. So I do think that this relationship is on its last legs. If it wasn't already over, maybe he was still letting her live in the house. I think next season, if she's back, she won't be with this guy. Yeah, I would agree. Respect to her for realizing what she wants and that she's probably not going to get it from her current situation. And I was thinking like, wow, it's crazy. But then I was like, if you're 19, I've seen pictures, the guy is handsome. I know they say a huge age difference, but he's good looking. He's 70. Yeah, he's good looking, like older than her guy. And he gives you this glamorous life and that's like cool when you're 19, 20, 21. And then all of a sudden on the back end of your 20s, you're like, wait, all my friends are getting married and buying homes with their spouse and my guy's gone half the year. I'm so curious if she went into that relationship knowing that, that he would only be there. It sounded like he was very upfront about it. Yeah. We also don't know the way to evolve over 10 years. Like maybe for the first couple, he was more into just her. And then he was like, listen, I don't really do this one gal kind of thing. So I'm going to head to Miami. And it's also Miami. I just know as a New Yorker, there's so much crossover with Florida. So many of my friends are down here that it's not like he's in another country. It's like you're in Miami. It's not far. Right. I don't know. Right. But it's also all out in the open and the other woman knows and she knows. So then we have Joellen Tabiri, self-described town gossip. She, her career is in aesthetic practice development. She works in medical aesthetics. She's married to her high school sweetheart, Gary Tabiri, three kids. Joellen is shown as the group's information hub. She writes, directly raises some of the anonymous question in group games and is implicated in circulating photos and rumors about other people, which leads to feuds. Joellen has unresolved mother issues and she is the one who tells it like it is and also we're told will create on camera conflict. Apparently her sister also dated her husband before she did. There are swing or rumors, but I will tell you that people from the area have reached out to tell me that they don't believe the swing of rumors are true. Yeah. There's something about Joellen that I really like. I can't really quite put my finger on it yet. I think she seems very smart and very confident. Maybe that's what I'm attracted to in her. I was actually cracking up at her mom watching her kids. I have had friends who have struggled with that with their parents. Some grandparents are hands on and want to take the grandkids for a weekend. Some are definitely not. Joellen's mom just seems a little lost when it comes to that. I can understand how that coupled with Joellen's own upbringing, she even said her grandmother didn't really have the maternal bone either. Yeah. Then there's Alicia. She had the first scene in the show. You'll remember she had that beautiful house pool was preparing her house for her, what, six Italian, five Italian aunts, which I love because they all live 15 minutes away from each other and they're like, we don't know. It's going to take us forever to get to you. I was cracking up about that. She is engaged for, I think, nine years to her fiance, Billy Kitsilis. He runs restaurants. Pizza Mama, as she says, is her favorite. They also have a daughter who we saw in that first scene. Then Bravo has teased that there will be some friction when Alicia opens up about parts of her past that leave a lifelong friend blindsided. Very interested to see what that is. I think it was quite obvious that Alicia and especially her aunts want her and Billy married and Billy doesn't seem to be in any rush. Neither does Alicia. She doesn't seem to be in any rush either. Yeah. I guess it was more the aunts. You wonder what that's about. True. Because they seem, I mean, we've only seen a couple episodes, but they seem happy and sometimes you wonder what's in whose name and you're dealing with cash businesses. There is the mafia looming rumors. Okay. Next. Then we have Rosie DeMar, former Rhode Island TV news and traffic reporter, turned local lifestyle host and media personality. She is married to Rich. Early episodes feature Rosie being asked to address long running rumors about her life, including a specific rumor teased as, did you have sex with the coach? We, of course, have intel on this in our subscription site. I'm not sure if they'll bring it back up, but the basketball coach rumor they brought up in the episode this week is a big deal around these parts, according to some of our sources. And there was a huge scandal with her and the Friars men's college basketball coach. He left and moved cities after years of being a committed local. So the specific intel we got caught in a big cheating scandal. Rosie's name was involved, although she's denied it on the show. Coach now works for Georgetown because rumor is his wife made him move out of the state or the wife was leaving him. Very interesting to see if this rumor comes back up. Rosie's also involved in fights over gossips and she questions other cast members relationships. Yeah, interesting. And she, isn't it Rosie who, yeah, she married her sister's boyfriend. Yeah, there's a lot of that kind of stuff here. Yeah, I mean, I guess Rhode Island is really small. So then we've got Ashley, Ia Kaneti, those of you who knew her from her bachelor and then bachelor and paradise days. That's where she met Jared. I did watch that season of bachelor paradise and it was a little sad because Ashley was like, I'm only here for Jared. Jared kind of went back and forth with her, but then eventually came back to her and they've been together since. So she's an influencer and podcast host. She moved to Rhode Island. So she's new to Rhode Island because Jared is from there. They co-own a coffee shop, which shout out to Janet Rimes with Planet, one of our discord cocktailers. She went and took pictures because she lives in the area. So this coffee shop seems to cause some stress in their relationship. They've got young kids. So her transition from bachelor nation to the housewise world is her storyline. She has also drawn some criticism for putting her son on one of those toddler leashes. I guess he's a runner. She's definitely a crier. I really like her though. She seems so genuine and sweet. And this might surprise you, she has a very big social following, 1.2 million followers on Instagram. So for just some context for you guys, that's more than Lindsey Hubbard has. That's more than Amanda Batula has. That's more than Sierra has. And I think that this show will help her engage those followers. And it seems like I don't, I can't tell if they're complaining about finances or they're just complaining about the coffee shop itself not making enough money. Because if she has that many followers and she's an influencer, I have to imagine she brings in a good amount of money. She obviously has a fan base and now the show will bring in money and also relevancy because you can have all these followers and then you're off the air for a while and people start focusing on people currently on the air. Right. The new bachelorettes and all that. She definitely is looking to engage an audience here. I'll be honest, I don't really see her as a great fit. The rest of them are all raised there and whether or not they're good friends, they get their accents are so heavy. I know that is rich coming from me, but they have really, I was watching it because obviously I'm dead in Florida and my nephew was mimicking them and it was so funny. Are you going to talk about Rue Locke today? Is she going to go to the car? Then we have Dolo, friend of obviously a long time New Jersey star. She appears, her connection is through Liz and they're going to be shown exploring a business venture together. This was just a way to make us tune in. So far the consensus is old school housewife vibes, messy, wanting to make names for themselves, wanting to be the top dog. They all have something to hide. They all have scandal. All of it's getting exposed from what we're hearing. I'm seated. Amanda, are you seated? I am. I am definitely seated. I have to say, and I think this feeling has been echoed in that email that you read earlier about a new city. It feels fresh to have a fresh cast, fresh faces, fresh drama. And yes, it's all, it's not just light shade. There's cheating and all kinds of stuff going on, but I don't know. I'm really loving it so far. I was so excited just sitting down for the first episode because it's just so good. We put this in the newsletter, but it's been a really big couple of weeks just for Bravo fans in general, like summer house scandal aside because of all the new TV. The Valley is back. The last night's episode just aired. Kristen and Janet are still at it. So we won't cover everything that's happened in the last couple of things, but there's a couple of conflicts that we'll talk about. So I wanted to get your thoughts about this. So Brittany had a party, a pool party at her house, like a kid's pool party, and she invited Janet and her son, and she invited Kristen and I think Luke and the baby. Brittany didn't tell Kristen that Janet was coming. Janet shows up, Kristen freaks out, then Brittany didn't tell Kristen to stop freaking out. So Janet packs up her son, pulls him out of the pool, they both leave in tears. I will tell you, I feel really badly for Janet because I think it's table stakes to be insulted on this show. They all do it to each other, but if you have somebody yelling and insulting you and your child, I think that's truly, I just think that's awful. And I'm really going to hope that it was just Kristen's postpartum hormones because I just think I find that to be awful when there's a kid involved. I'm with you. Janet is rightfully mad. I have to tell you, I would love for Brittany to take some fucking accountability. It is your home. If you're going to invite these people, you have a responsibility to call out Kristen's bad behavior and stop Janet from leaving and saying, Kristen, I'm sorry, you have to go. You cannot disrespect anyone in my home. It isn't okay. Also, as far as not knowing Janet was coming, they're all on the same cast. I am sure it was Kristen's postpartum hormones. It's not okay. And it almost feels to me that Brittany set it up, which makes it less okay. And because the children were there. If this was an adult party at Brittany's house, it would have been a different playing field, but you can't do that in front of someone's toddler. It's not appropriate. Yeah. And the poor kid had to get pulled out of the pool and he was seeing that so sad. Meantime at the party for the babies, LaLa learns that it's possible that Luke, Kristen's fiance, might be Sosa's dad because Luke was a sperm donor at the same Cairo bank where she got sperm from Sosa. For Sosa. Can you imagine? Okay. I'm sure we'll see a DNA test at some point. I think that will be entertaining. Luke and Sosa really do look alike, but I don't, I think it's probably a little bit more of a joke than it's something really positive because I think that, I think two things. One, they said LaLa's sperm was a fresh batch and Luke did his a long time ago. And I want to say, yeah, I don't know. We'll see. But I doubt it, but it is funny. Here's what I don't understand. Luke is from Colorado. How long ago was it that he was leaving sperm in a California sperm bite? Doesn't really make sense. I wonder the same thing. It's like a whole in history. It makes me wonder, Luke's just- Is he trying to be out there to get famous? Yeah. He's had Hollywood aspirations. Right. Was he out there for a few years, didn't work out, he went back to Colorado and then like now he's, then he met Kristen and everything. It just, it put a hole in the story. As does his so far behavior this year. I don't know. He seems- His yellow sunglasses are giving reality star. I'm a reality star now, like vibes to me too. Yeah. I don't know. You guys know we had come full circle. First we found Luke odd, then we found him sexy when he was like fixing cars and taking charts. Well, endearing. Enduring. A nice partner. I won't go sexy. And now I'm just like, ooh, you just don't want to see everybody go to Hollywood. So, then we've got Lacey. So she is the allegedly litigious girlfriend who throws out cease and desist like pieces of candy apparently. Jesse's girlfriend. Yeah, Jesse's girlfriend. We know that she was supposedly very against filming. We obviously heard Andy tell Jesse, this is your life and if this is your series girlfriend, she needs to be on. He pretty much yelled at him. I guess Michelle had no idea that Lacey had changed her mind and decided to film. So here's something that if you're not a subscriber, you don't know, but this was on our subscription site way back last season. So Michelle has a lot of anger towards Lacey and I'm sure you're watching this trying to figure out what it is besides just act stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle blames Lacey or blamed her for her breakup with Aaron because you see where Lacey shows up and production is like, why is she here? She doesn't want to be on camera and cameras are still up. That was their rap party for, I believe third season. It was before Aaron and Michelle broke up. Lacey, Michelle, Aaron and Jesse got into it. Apparently Aaron pushed Lacey or something of that regard to where production was like this guy can no longer film and subsequently Adam dumped Michelle and for a period of time after that, Michelle blamed Lacey. Now, did Lacey send a cease and desist to Michelle? Yes. I do see Michelle's point. Like I'm on a reality show where my ex-husband's the cast. I'm going to discuss his ex-girlfriend. So I actually do see Michelle's point that it isn't really fair before Lacey was filming to send that it's like you can't date Jesse then because it's going to be discussed. Right. And Michelle never said her name and Michelle can't be blamed for the fact that people like Amanda and I look into it and figure out who Lacey is and post it for you guys and that's not the cast fault. That's like she just said who, you know what I'm saying? That's what's going on in her life. So yeah, I think and she didn't say the name. We're just good at figuring it that stuff out. But that's where the vitriol came for Lacey from Michelle. Of course, coupled with the fact that her and that Michelle and Jesse have a very not amicable split and there's a lot of tension between them. But at the party, okay, Michelle didn't realize she was filming. Here she is. And Lacey came over for the sake of the kids, be polite. And Michelle just she won't. At this point in filming what we're seeing is she won't. She claims that Lacey is chaotic like Jesse. It just seems that she doesn't want to like her. But yet Michelle says to Lacey, I don't know anything about you. If you which is it, do you not know anything about her or is she a chaotic, crazy, terrible person? A lot of you guys were in my DMs and the viewers seem to not be a fan of Lacey, which isn't certainly isn't because Michelle's a fan favorite because people have their own opinions on Michelle. But they feel like something's weird with Lacey. So there'll be an interesting watch. I think yeah, I think most like Haskell is the same way that there's they're not really completely taking to Lacey either. And that's how I am feeling about Lacey as well. I'm going to give her a chance obviously, just not feeling super excited one way or another about her. And then the fact that Jesse and Michelle are still married, and Jesse just needs to sign the paperwork. What the heck? Wild. Okay, so let's go back to where we started at the top of the pod. So the in the city trailer has dropped. Yes, Bravo cocktails will be featured. Danielle from Summerhouse is back. Nobody seems to want her there. Fans and other castmates alike. But our theory is that when they started filming in the city last fall, obviously the Summerhouse kiosk that we've been all living through over the last couple weeks, that was not going on yet. And Danielle had a very juicy story at the time. So I'm going to read that they knew about things to us because they knew about things to us and asked to use our post. Yes. So this is a post that we shared about Danielle being with a married man production reached out months ago, asked for permission to use the post. So we did know that it would become a part of the storyline. So if you're in our subscription site, you guys would have seen this, but what's so funny like the here's the email from she's a mess, which is so funny because lots of people are a mess apparently subject summer. Oh, the email came from Bravo Bravo at gmail.com. We have the Summerhouse and it says the former Summerhouse girl is a home wrecker. Yes. Lindsey's former BFF, the guy she's with and finally posted his face because before that it was just his arm, etc. He's my friend's husband and they've been having an affair. She has known he's been married since they started dating in the spring. He's Irish and is in the hospitality industry. They are now getting divorced since the Summerhouse alum loves to sputter her life all over social media and we've all found out through that biggest pit me energy I've seen in my life and she's almost 40. And then we shared a post that says so everyone is shocked that Danielle has been spotted filming the Summerhouse spin off, but they shouldn't be Danielle is with a married man. Cocktailers know this, but the blind about her boyfriend being married is 200% true. Obviously a reality show is going to want that storyline. Honestly, here for her having to explain herself. We need his wife or wife's friend to send more emails to Bravo Cocktails with more details. And the worst part of the trailer, which by the way looks absolutely fire and we're going to get to it, the worst part for me was watching Danielle try to spin this and blame Lindsey as if Lindsey had anything to do with Danielle being with a married man. Like we received emails and intel where we knew that this guy was married. Now of course, if I had a guess, what is Danielle going to say? Oh, they were separated. Clearly, whether or not there was trouble in the man's marriage or not, the wife was taken aback and shocked when she found out that he was seeing Danielle. So I really hope and I feel confident that once she blames Lindsey, Lindsey's gonna, Oh, you want me to dig, then I'm gonna dig. You're gonna blame me anyway. So that's not the only juicy part of the trailer. We see Kyle and Amanda addressing their separation and impending divorce, an intense conversation. We're just all seeing Amanda in a different light. And this conversation was one where I was like, wow, Amanda says to him, if you come for me, I'll come for you. And Kyle responds, that would be a losing battle, prompting Amanda to ask, are you fucking threatening me? Whoa. As Tracy would say, my heart rate went like through the roof watching that scene. Because you guys don't remember Amanda did not sign a prenup. So it does seem like she really could come for Kyle if she wanted to, but Kyle could really go for her. That's how not having a prenup works. Whoever edited the In the City trailer, I have, I feel like they must have revised the trailer after the joint statement because we see Amanda and West have a flirty interaction. She hugs him. She says, Hey, cutie. And he responds with, Hey, Mandy gag, gag, Mandy. But yeah, they hug. It could be that production did know. And maybe this scene was in the trailer the whole time. I just have a feeling they adjusted it. And our work decided to release it now to capitalize on all of the scandal happening off screen. Shout out to my friend Mandy in real life, who's goes by Mandy by every person in her life. But Amanda in the 10 years we've known her, nobody has ever called her Mandy. Do I think production knew? I do. People want to know how they could know. Production is very intertwined in these people's lives. And like people send intel to us, people know who production are. Production are young people living in the city. They knew. Do I think West is on the spin off a lot? I don't, but I do think that any footage they have, they will capitalize on. Apparently West is going around telling people he'll be fine with Bravo. He's not happy about his cast members piling up on him, but he'll be fine. He feels confident that they will give him traitors because look at Sandoval, he's mad that Sierra hasn't publicly spoken out telling people to stop threatening him. What? Is this guy delusional? All of this does make me wonder when Kyle started to suspect Amanda and West. I'll be honest, because he has been in bars around town in Manhattan, saying my wife is fucking West for a few months. So it's all getting, but let's get to the in the city cast. Okay. So we have Lindsay. We've got Kyle. We've got Amanda. They're leading the cast. So then, oh my gosh, will you help me with? Yes. We have Yvonne Nager. She is somebody that you always see in Lindsay's stories. If you follow her on social, she's Lindsay's BFF, former VP of marketing at a high profile nightlife empire. She is redefining her success after an unexpected layoff while facing tensions in her new marriage to Nick. Okay. How did it, what I was going to say, can you help me with the pronunciation of Danielle's boyfriend's name? Owen. So it's an Irish name. It's spelled E-O-I-N, but it's called Owen. Oh, I thought you meant Yvonne Nager. No, that's okay. No, Owen, I, that's going to take my mouth a little bit of time because it looks like Ian, which is what I was going to guess. Okay. So we've got Danielle Owen on Andrea, who we remember from Summerhouse, his now wife, Lexie. We've got Yvonne, who you just mentioned. We've got Nick, her husband, Georgina Fairzell, who I looked up. We'll talk about her in a second, Whitney Fransway, who was also just like Ashley I. Canetti on Nick Vial's season of The Bachelor. And she's Kenny Martin's girlfriend. Kenny Martin's girlfriend. She's the one who we see that was moved across country to New York to live with him. Gavin Mosley and Katie Arendelle. So Nick, Yvonne's wife is an entrepreneur. Husband. Did I say, I said wife? Georgina, we won't go with like too many details, but Georgina is, first of all, gorgeous. Looked her up. She is a dermatologist. She has, she's a medical director of two different practices. She's a good friend of Lindsay. She is a single mother and she is also preparing to launch her skincare line. Whitney, we just mentioned Bachelor of Alarm. She moved from LA to New York for Kenny. Kenny is a friend of Kyle's. He's an investor and lover boy. He's a real estate investor. What'd you say? Who is an investor and lovers boy? Seriously. He is known as a blunt truth teller. Gavin Mosley, a fixture in New York City Nightlife who has launched several successful bars. He's described as a quintessential New York Bachelor who avoids settling down. And that makes sense, right? Because Yvonne worked in Nightlife. He were, and Lindsay used to do PR. So this all makes sense that they knew each other. Then there's Katie Arendelle who is Amanda's childhood best friend. She is not afraid to go toe to toe with Kyle. She's got a right or die loyalty to Amanda, but she is apparently friends with Danielle too. So that'll be interesting. I am excited to meet Katie, especially in light of everything we're learning about Amanda. I think she's the one who had the wedding in Italy. She was actually on Summerhouse a couple episodes ago. I wonder. So interestingly, something that we know as fans and experts of Bravo is that these people come on the show and make friendships. And something that Bethany Frankel said, which I saw a lot of comments saying it wasn't a good take. And the piece of it that I think isn't a good take is that Bethany was like, who cares about Amanda and Wes? Nobody's married. But the part that she said that resonated with me was these people met on a reality show. So the idea that they have an authentic friendship just isn't true. And yesterday I was on a live with Bethany and Ramona and Sonia Hopdon and they were saying that they had done a brand deal together. And they were saying they were really excited to do it because they actually got to enjoy each other's company. And what Bethany said was in the past, yes, everything you saw was really happening. But we would say things or bring things up about each other on camera to make things interesting. And so the friendship isn't really. So I guess the point is, Katie knows Amanda from childhood. Right. Was Amanda okay doing this to Ciara? Because although clearly they got along and they were friends and Ciara held her hand through BravoCon. Is there some part of Amanda's brain that compartmentalizes? Because we remember from her wedding, she had tons of real friends there and then she had some summer house girls. Is there a part of a brain that compartmentalizes and it's almost like, yeah, when they're filming, they love each other and when they do press and everything. But really her real friends are Katie and those people and not Ciara, Paige and Hannah. Because if you listen to Ciara, Paige and Hannah, they, excuse me, Paige and Hannah, they said Ciara is our real life friend. Yeah. And so then it calls into question because the relationship with Kyle did cause so much friction and so many people did have issues with him. That wasn't Amanda's in a different compartment. Like, am I making sense? No, it does. And I'm not saying what she did is okay. Oh, I know. But of course you're not saying that. I don't know that I agree with Bethany's premise that you can't become real life friends if you met on a reality show. However, I do think that Amanda may see her friendship with Katie in a different light because they grew up and they knew each other before any of the fame or success. And I do think there is that and that could affect the friendship. But I wouldn't, I don't think that, I don't know, I wonder because did Amanda really feel like Ciara got her through all of this and like she was so grateful for her that she was her sister? Or did she not? Because I don't, it's hard to believe that Amanda really felt that way about Ciara. And then Amanda would go and do that to Ciara, knowing how Ciara would feel. Yeah. Or is Amanda just like holy selfish and she did feel that way. But then she wanted something and Ciara wasn't around and out of sight, out of mind. I guess my question is would she do that to her childhood best friends? That's hard to say. I wonder what your reaction is to that. I personally haven't been in a situation like that where let's say a childhood friend of mine got together with one of her college friends, ex-boyfriend, just to put it in like layman's terms because we're not on reality TV. And I have to feel like if that happened, I, whether or not I knew where was close with her college best friend, I would have to be like, oh my god, I can't believe she's capable of that. Yeah. Or do you just side with your friend? Like she's known that college girl for what? A couple years, she's known me since kindergarten. She wouldn't do that to anyone else. Just, I don't know. I don't think there is a delineation. I think Amanda, if Amanda would do that to Ciara, I think Amanda would do that to anybody, unfortunately. I am excited for the spin-off. I think we were all pleasantly surprised because I think this sentiment was okay, now that we know the West thing, it's all going to be outdated. But it's not centered on only Kyle and Amanda. We have Danielle's drama and Danielle is still with the guy and posts him at Nozium. And they're constantly just eating. I believe her app is completely defunct. He works in hospitality. They're constantly eating in Brooklyn at places. I don't know where she's putting the food because she's very clearly on Osempic, lost a lot of weight. She's just annoying. Yeah. I feel bad that Carl isn't on the spin-off and then because he's doing his book tour, he did speak on it. I wasn't really at the place in my life where I'm in a relationship, but there are single people on it. I do feel this show was in large part Lindsay's show. I have to imagine Lindsay wasn't thrilled that Danielle got on. I really think that the boyfriend being married storyline got her on. Yeah. Oh yeah. I think so too because I don't think Lindsay and Danielle's friendship is what it was a few years ago. I think a big part of it is because Danielle has really acted out towards Lindsay and said really nasty things to her face and behind her back. Yeah. Lindsay's not one of those people who just forget things like that. Nor should she. Yeah. Before we wrap up, I just wanted to ask all of you guys a favor. A really great way to express your feelings about this. One of the cocktailers emailed me pictures, she and her friends. Oh my god, I forgot to repost it. You've got to post it. Created posters and said Carl's a mess and one was like short pants romance and like all this stuff kind of poking fun at the situation and they went and they protested in front of the summer house.
