We'll be right back. We'll be right back. You're listening to Mundo in the morning on 95 7 fm KCMO. So you know the Las Vegas Raiders. They brought in Kirk Cousins and Kirk Cousins. After next season will have earned $341 million in NFL salary earnings alone. That is Platinum Clipboard status. That is unbelievable. Wow. I'm telling you what, I know I have three girls, but if I had a boy right now, I'd get that football on his hand and say, Son, you're going to try to be Kirk Cousins. Okay That's that's how you make it in life. Unbelievable. All right. It's that time of the morning. Let's get started. It's time for the six at six on KCMO talk radio. Number one top of the list. The severe weather today is something we'll be watching this morning. It's going to be windy. It will start to warm up. It's not warm out there right now, but it will start to warm up quickly this morning. Turn windy and warm throughout the day Southwest Gus reaching 40 miles an hour. We'll get to the next one. We'll get to the next one. We'll get to the next one. We'll get to the next one. Between storms are going to be moving through the region between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. The window for storms in the Kansas City area specifically. Right at about five o'clock. Until maybe nine o'clock tonight. They'll arrive sooner Northwest of KC and later Southeast of the Metro. KCTV five is calling it a level two out of five risk! It's going to be a little bit more of a storm into a line. Linear systems like today's typically produce powerful straight line winds and brief tornado spin ups. Those are the main threats. It will be a fast moving system blow in and out quickly, but it still is going to impact Friday. Late afternoon, early evening plans but what to expect damaging straight line winds. It's going to be a little bit more of a storm in the region. It's going to be a little bit more of a storm in rainfalls anywhere from half an inch to one and a half inches with isolated higher amounts. The highest rainfall amounts most likely in the southeastern parts of the Metro. So there is going to be a level two of four flood threat for southeastern areas around Kansas City. So something to keep an eye on is the the Strip Mall. Well, the Coana's Club and the Chamber of Commerce have organized the official disaster relief fund benefitting the fire impacted businesses and their employees, but the chamber has been made aware of fraudulent Venmo accounts claiming to collect donations for fire relief efforts. This happens all the time. The Chamber of Commerce employees impacted by the fire in Smithville only use the official Smithville Chamber Venmo that is at Smithville Chamber. Now I probably would bring a check down, but I might be old school. I'm not sure I'm Venmoing any official chamber account to be honest, but that's the chamber account. You can also drop off cash and check donations at the following locations. The Edward Jones Chamber of Commerce. Sounds like a radio host. Starla James. That's a good radio name. I don't know. Yeah, that's a good radio name. Not away Valley Bank with Holly Sullivan. And then the Smithville Chamber right on Main Street. So those are the places that you can bring a cash or check donation to help out those who were impacted by the fire up in Smithville earlier this week. Number three. All right. Speaking of fires, let's go back to the fire. The fire was reported at about 10 o'clock on the northeast side of the city on Smart Avenue near Hardesty. Arriving firefighters reported seeing heavy smoke coming from the two story multifamily apartment. Two people inside the apartment were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and smoke inhalation. The Kansas City Police Department's Bob and Arson unit was requested to investigate the cause of the fire. The fire was reported at about 10 o'clock on the northwest side of the city on the northeast side of the city. They were requested to investigate the cause of the fire. Number four. Next up. Let's go to Harrisonville, where an administrator is accused of damaging the Margaritaville resort bar. Harrisonville's assistant superintendent is charged in damaging a bar. While on a district trip in Osage Beach, the district is charged with the same amount of damage caused by the fire. Number three. Court records list that he lives in Harrisonville and the school district's website lists him as the assistant superintendent of HR and operations. Remember the old days when you just had an assistant superintendent? Now you have an assistant superintendent of HR and operations. What like this is exactly what we talk about. What does that mean? You have the assistant superintendent of the last town to his office. Yeah. Yeah. He has an initial court appearance on April 21st at nine a.m. Down down by the Lake. So unbelievable. Here's just the quick story. Depete said that inside the Landshark bar, they found multiple plastic cups that Parkhurst had allegedly drunk from. Have served pitchers a broken margarita mix, several empty beer cans and a computer knocked over and broken beer taps. When deputies went to the wall. A plastic light cover damaged and a roof tile out of place. They said he was highly intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the adult detention center. So boy, that went downhill quickly. Yeah, geez. That's a climb out here. Let me stand on this beer cake. Oh my gosh. Okay. All right. What's next? Number five. Well, the Royals lose to the twins yesterday. They could not complete the sweep falling five one, but they got national attention because backup catcher Carter Jensen did not wake up. He slept through his alarm. Terrible look for him and he has been roasted getting national attention for it as well. Number six. And I'm realizing I am running out of time. So let's wrap it up here. Today is good Friday.
