When you're Jeff Lewis, the drama never stops. Stop fucking apologizing. You're not making it any better. You're just reminding me how late we are. I know I'm specific. I know I'm a little high maintenance, which is why I tip really fucking well. I don't want to start shit, but... Oh, really? Really? Okay. Really? Jeff Lewis has issues. Hey, welcome to Jeff Lewis has issues. In today's episode, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge joined the show. We talk about Tamara's approach to filming season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County and Teddy gives us an update on her health. Plus, we talk about what we're both watching on TV. Good morning. Good morning. Teddy, I have not seen you in like probably, I mean, the last time you were here on the show was three years ago. I did see you at BravoCon, but I, it's been, you know, it's been three years since you been on the show. That's wild. I know. I feel like you've been playing hard to get. Well, you know, the cancel will do that. Right. You've been a little busy. Oh, she's back. You've been a little busy. Yes, I understand. It's been three years. We were on together. Was it three years ago? Three years is what the producers told me. You were on a few months ago, but I like, oh, I like your bag, by the way. Oh, thank you. Because you're a brand whore. That's why. True. True. So you girls had a little lesbian sleepover last night? We did. We did. We cuddled up. Something in the same bed. Teddy made me watch like a crime shows. What do we watch last night? Oh, I forgot, but we watched some kind of ridiculous crime show. About a woman that killed all seven of her kids or something like that. Oh, that's great. Right before you go to sleep. Yeah. Nothing relaxed. And then Teddy's like, I have problems sleeping. So now you guys, obviously everyone has heard of two Ts in a pod. You've been doing it for four years now. I believe you just celebrated 75 million downloads. Is that for a while? Yeah. Congrats. Now, are you, are you the one watching all the shows Teddy? We both are. Are you really? Oh, we have to. We have to. How are, how do you have time? I don't, I don't, Jeff. I don't. When do you watch them? I'm tired. When do you watch them? Weekends. Whenever I can. So I have like this schedule where, no, I have to watch them throughout the week. So I get up in the morning at six in the morning. I get up, I prep for the podcast. I go to the gym. I come back, record the podcast and then like a couple hours later, I watch the show for the next week, take notes, send it to my assistant. He writes them all up for me, puts them on my rundown and then it's all over. It's a cycle. And then what's your process? Five days a week. Wake up in the morning, what time? I wake up in the morning at six, but I watch it the night before. You do? Okay. Yeah. So I watch it the night before. Tamara likes to watch it the day of. Okay. So you're watching. So you're watching it the night before and then when you're up in the morning, are you doing notes or do you do the notes the night before? Do the notes the night before. And then I send them as I'm watching. Okay. So you're already prepped. It's a lot. Yeah. But it's like once you write your notes, they're put into a rundown and then you have to, because we don't see the rundown and then we have to see the rundown with our notes in it and just kind of read over it. It's not that big of a deal, but it's, it's non, it's, it's a cycle. I get it. I get it. Five days a week. I do it too. So you're going and filming and that. But I used to be like Teddy where I think the first couple of years, I would prep the night before and then I would sleep in a little bit later. But now I, for whatever reason, I completely, I've completely shit. Well, I mean, I, not like you do. No, I prepped the night before. So I'm not doing anything that I before now. I, I, I wake up at 530. I do it in the morning before I come here. But yes, we do have to watch the shows. I don't watch them all, but I, on the weekends is when I kind of try to catch up with everything. So I'm always like behind like, we're in real time. Right. Yeah. Are you watching the new shaws? Well, it's not the shaws, the valley version style. Here's the thing. I normally probably would have never watched it, but MJ, but I'm friends with MJ. I'm friends with Reza. I'm friends with Gigi. So, um, I, so of course I felt obligated. I also want to talk about it on the show. I kind of got hooked. I am too. The first two episodes I was sucked in. Now I'm starting to get a little bit pulled back. Why? I think because I feel like it's, um, I feel like some of the girls are acting. Oh, but don't you agree that like two of those marriages are severely strained? I just, yes. But I wonder, did you know that, um, the one, three of those marriages are severely strained? Yeah. Yeah. I think that's why, and her husband clearly that's bombshad or bombshad or what is his name? Yeah. I don't know. I always say her husband because I can never get the same right when we talk about it. I was just at a problem with their kitchen's the size of my bathroom and then they have like, they have like a $200,000 Porsche rolled up in their driveway and he's like, look what I got for you. I'm like, but your, your kitchen is the size of my bathroom. I have to tell you though, I'm familiar with that neighborhood. Is it expensive? It's not a cheap house. It's probably two and a half, $3 million. I mean, it's not a cheap house in LA. The problem is you look at these little homes and these little kitchens in LA and you don't realize they're two and a half, $3 million. Oh, okay. But the house they stayed in when they were in Palm Springs or wherever, that was a little bit tight quarters. I wouldn't have been happy with that. And then, and I also wouldn't have shown up with three kids. No, absolutely not. For 24 hours, get in Annie. Yeah. Seriously. Um, but I, I'm, I'm liking the show a lot. I of course hate Tommy. It's hard to watch. If he had to talk about shitting one more time, like I'm like, dude, stop, stop, on camera, on a date. No, everywhere. He drops off. He's like, I got a shoot. And I'm like, I do too, but I don't talk about it all the time. Take some fiber. So does Jay. No, your system. Yes. He does. And I haven't said it once. He hasn't said it once. I'm with you. Yes. IBS, Teddy. So do I. So I'm on poop number three already. I thought you said you weren't going to talk about it. Of course she's talking about it. But we, I mean, she talked about it on my house. So you like, you like the Valley, but now you're kind of not into the episode three and four. Correct. Well, I think that they had like a slow episode. Like the, and I never like filler episodes on any of the shows. Oh. Like I like there to be like half of real Housewives of Orange County. Oh, I'm sorry. Tamara. I know. Hey, I have no control. I have no control over the cast. I have no control over the cast. That was a big shake up. But fired one person and brought another one. That was a huge. Did they only fire one person? I heard maybe two. I did too. Yeah. Right. Okay. So two people down. I feel like the other person's going to be like, I decided that I'm going to spend more time with my family. Oh, we're going to hear that again. I think so. At least Katie came out was like I got fired. And I respect that. Same. Yeah. But honestly, I was saying about it this morning. I wouldn't, I would much rather have another season with Katie than Gina and Emily and I like Emily, which is too bad. I just think they need to be split up. Like on another show. Split them both up on different shows. That would be interesting to see how one would act without the crutch of the other way and how they would grow. Right. Because they're so intertwined with everything, every move they stay in the same rooms when you know, on the trips. They got to break them up. What do you think about their TikToks? So cringy. You don't want to do one after this? I hope they're being paid a lot of money. They're not. By who? Those are just TikToks. Like there's no one. Those are TikToks. I've seen some paid endorsements. I'm like, okay, well, you know, make the money. I just, I haven't seen anything endorsement. I haven't seen anything endorsement. I heard that Gina got engaged. Yes, she got engaged. I just don't want to see that white trash wedding. Oh, Jeff. I don't. I don't. I don't want to see it. Stop it. What are they going to do it? Tamra's. Tamra's backyard. Beautiful backyards in Orange County. I'm sure they'll find some rec center. Oh my God. Are you not friends with Gina? No. I think it started where I just, you know, it's, it's, here's the thing. Like Emily and Shane, I really like them off TV. Like, you know, I've got to know them. I really like them. I just feel like it's been eight seasons now, right? This is their eighth season. I want to see, I want to see something else. And I think that maybe two new people would be, would be good. There's difference. You know, there's the OG favorites that you really have to keep. You have to. And then there's just people that have been around, you know, six seasons too long. How are you and Heather? Are you guys good? Yeah. Heather and I are good. Yeah. Very simple, very friendly. Vicki and I are great. Yeah. And you know Shannon Shabasti. I'm Shannon and I are good. I like how you brushed right over that. Were you worried that Shannon wasn't coming back? No, I never, she's like one of those, you know, OGs that people love. And I think, you know, was I afraid that they, you know, I didn't know because we kept hearing all of these rumors of these huge shake-up. I thought I was gone. I didn't know what was happening. I thought they were going to fire you. I thought they were going to make Shannon a friend. I thought they were going to, I didn't know what they were going to do. Yeah. Well, we never know. Do you think that Shannon and Tam are going to make up? I don't know. And here's the thing that I, in real life. I tried last year at Denmark. In real life, when people mistreat you, disrespect you, go too far in an argument, we cut them out of our lives. Yeah. Right? But the housewife world is different. And you kind of have to understand that you're being paid to resolve these conflicts. That's because no one wants to see you fighting over and over and over season after season after season. I agree. I think she's going to have to make up with you because I don't want to see, I don't want another season where you two are at odds. I don't. I don't either. I didn't want it last year. And I pray for the Trace Amigos to come back. I love that. But here's the thing, Tam, I like it when you, if you do commit to a resolution, you know, you've got a sharp tongue and sometimes you say I'll tell you right now after how they treated me last year, I'm going to fucking blow things up. So last year was calm Tam. I thought you blew things up last year. No, I didn't blow. I was like in a very sad situation and I wasn't happy and nobody like if anybody else was having a hard time, it'd be like, oh, what can I do for you? Well, let's have a party to cheer you up. No, they're like, you're leaking stories. You're doing this. You're that. You're that. Oh my God, you guys are not my friends. But you need a redemption year. She's needed that for like 20 seasons. Yeah, right? They keep bringing her back. Bring her out. I'm like a punching bag at this time. Just bring your happy tonics and just be sipping on that the whole time. We will. Yeah, you know, we have 10 milligrams now. Oh, they're amazing. I think that's what you need. 10 milligrams of T-A-6. Thank you because you sent me a bunch of samples and Annie took every one of them. She's been high for three weeks. And we have new flavors. We have mango, lime, blood, orange, like you just. Look, I know a big part of your business is to sell these products that kind of relax you, where you can just kick back and forget about your day and your troubles and all of that. I'll be honest with you. I specifically use your products as a sleep aid and it's saved my life. And I've been taking them. Our biggest seller. I've been taking them for years. I don't need to be, I don't know. Personally, for me, I don't. You don't need to be stoned. You just need to sleep. I don't need to be stoned. I need to be very clear, right? Yeah. So, but the problem is, is that in doing that, I'm very hyped up at the end of the day. I know, Teddy, you have trouble sleeping too. And those full spectrum bites and the lights out and that, I mean, it's like last night, I slept eight hours. I know. Thank you, Tamara Judge. You know, there's a lot going on with the cannabis industry right now. Yeah. And they just put, they're trying to regulate it. They just gave us a two-year extension. We kind of shitter pants for a while because we thought, oh my God, we built this business for six years and we could potentially be shut down with the new regulations. So, it's looking like we're going to be okay and it can actually be even a better thing for us because if it's regulated, then it's easier to advertise like on Meta and things like that. Do you think, sorry, I'm going to like, oh, okay. So, and by the way, you changed the code on us. So, if all of your products are available. I did. 30% off with Juff code. His new code is Jeffvena, V-E-N-A. Jeffvena. So, you go to venacbd.com, use Jeffvena, 30% off all products. I, if you have trouble sleeping, this is, this is what is going to help you. Yeah. I'd start with the full spectrum night bites and then if I, if I, if it's a weekend and I know I could sleep like nine hours, I'll do a lights out. But sometimes like, they're stronger. They're twice as strong. Yeah. Sometimes I get like, oh, I don't want to take a gummy. Like, and I'm like, I just want to have like, what seems to be a cocktail, but it's not. There's no alcohol in it. And there's only 40 calories, 10 milligrams of THC. I have one of those and I don't need to take anything else. I will just fall asleep. I'm good. It's a night. You know, I wonder if that would replace the martini too. I mean, yes it would. And you wouldn't feel like shit the next day. Yeah. And then you might sleep and then I might do my two bowl. Tamara, they've never, ever shot one, I don't think one frame of you running your business. No. And I've talked about that to do that. But Koto Insurance is, I mean, she's basically selling sweatshirts on there. Yeah, we've seen, I have one. I have the cap too. I love it. But yes. We have real estate agents that are doing, you know, we're looking at watching that 24-7. The gated group. We have, you know what I mean? That's the first group I'm going to call. Stop it, Jeff. You stop it. But I just feel like I think that I'm going to push for that a little bit for this season to show that, you know. Well, also the podcast network. I know. I mean, you and Teddy have built something pretty incredible. I know. I think the problem is, is it's kind of breaking the fourth wall because we are, you know, recapping Bravo shows. Yeah. But I think they're starting to break the fourth wall more and more. My dream is we're interviewing Lisa Renna and a couple of years. So are we. Yeah. I mean, yours will be a different interview. Yours will be professional. But I would love. But we'll be at, you know, the I Heart Studio and I would love for them to film that. Yeah. They should. Yeah. But I don't think Lisa would do it. No. Do you? Oh yeah. She's very anti-Bravo, isn't she? Yeah. No. Does Bravo send the marshals to you, to your studio like they do me? What do you mean? I guess that's a no. They send like companions. Like they send. Like a PR agent to like zap them if they say something wrong. Oh, well, we're not in person and so they'll just be on the zoom. Yeah, they'll be on the zoom. See, I get them here in the green room or sometimes here in the studio. Yeah. Watching over. And then like you have five minutes. Are you watching Traders? Of course I am. Oh my God. Is it like the best season ever? I just got sucked in. I never watched one through three. Dumb. But now I told Monroe, I'm like, we're going to go back. Of course the best. Would you've been offended if you were Colton? Offended? Oh, and he said. For Michael Raport? Um, I'm not that that sensitive. So probably no. Yeah. Yeah. I understand why people would be offended. Yeah. I personally wouldn't be. Um. We had Michael on the podcast. I like him. How was he? I like him. I was a little bit scared. You know, he's intense. He's intense, but he, he said, he said like I talked to him. We're cool. Like everything's good. Like I that's not what I meant. That wasn't my intention. I wasn't trying to shame him in any way. Just saying like you kept a secret. Yeah. I don't need to see him eat ever again. Oh, we talked about that. Oh my God, Teddy. I, I, no. Did he even use silverware? I felt like he just kind of chipped the plate in his mouth. So it wasn't macaroni and cheese. I don't know what it was. Like fried rice and the fork. And he's like using his shang at the end of the plate. And yeah, that was pretty gross. He said he literally was like by himself in a room and he looked at the camera guys. And he's like, you never thought that you went to school for all this. And then you had to film me eating like an animal. Yeah. He says sometimes he eats like that. I actually thought he was, I thought he was great. I think he, I thought he was good for the show. I was sorry to see him go. Yeah, same. I think he was so entertaining. But they were, but they were like, I thought it was funny. We're like, if you're a faithful, you are the worst faithful. I wish he would have stayed a little bit longer. And I'm sorry. I mean, so many people are hating on Colton. I think he's good for the show. I don't give a shit what he did. I don't give a shit what he did in his past. I'm watching him as a faithful. You gotta give people second chances and third chances. And by the way, Kate in Minnesota, line one. I totally agree with her. Hi, Kate. Wait, are you there? Yes, we are here. Oh my gosh. Hello. Hi, camera. Hi, buddy. Hi, Kate. I love cameras. Yes. Love you. Love you. OG, listener here. Aw. We need to have more fun. That's the plan. Because we're all drunks on the house life. And I love you when you're in your fun mode. I'm really hoping with Vicki back this season that we're going to have more moments of like us being silly and having fun and going to Mexico and her peeing on my bed and all that kind of stuff. Well, we don't need to see that again. But yes. Bring the pee. I want to see all the pee. I want to see the messiness. I love to see you guys in that. It got dark last year. I know the DUI was a story, but it's like, who cares at this point? Like be silly. Be the camera that we all fell in love with. Yeah. And shout out to them. That's about it. Be the camera that you are on this show, which is light and fun and funny. And, you know, I understand these people trigger you. But you have your allies now, right? You've got Heather. You've got Vicki. Yeah, I didn't feel like I was that triggered last year. I just felt like I was sad and I was having a hard time maneuvering through the show. And instead of my friends being like, I know you're going through a dark time right now. Like I had just like spent months of doing therapy and I was already like scared to go back on the show and film again, especially the year before I was getting death threats. I'm sorry. I should never have sent that. I know you fired. How is your mindset now? How are you feeling? I feel great. I feel great. I am so excited. I filmed Ultimate Girls Trip, the first party, the 80s party. And I was like, I'm on fire. I got jazz hands. Like, let's go. So I was maybe a little bit because then I got pulled from the season finale. But don't we don't we all have, you know, friends with like different levels of depth. You know what I mean? Like these are kind of like fun, party acquaintance. I mean, some of them you have deeper friendships than others, but, you know, they can all be like the Teddy Mellencamp friendship you have, you know, and so for sure. And you get it. You're a professional, you know, like, you know, you're paid to party. You're paid to go. That's why I was willing to make up with Shannon last year. You're paid to go on these trips, you know, you just, I don't know. You're very, you know, you take things very personally and then you let I do. Yeah. But then you let it go. But then you let it go. But then you are easy to let things go. Yeah. You will let things go. Really? You think I, okay. Well, I am in my unbothered era. So if anybody wants to screw with me, I'm going to do it. I'm going to take some notes from Stacy. What are you to read? Isn't that her book's name? It is. What is it? Unbothered. Un-something, yeah. Is it really? I didn't know that. I couldn't believe it. That is the chicest. The last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Oh my God. Were, I mean, it was so tragic where Amanda brings up her son. Horrible. And then to read just like doubles down. She doesn't stop. And she says like she's accusing her of not reading the room. You need to read the room to read. I love when she goes, well, we can talk about this another time. However. Yes. It was so cold. What about when she said Zion and Kathy goes, who's dog? Is that your dog? Is that your dog? I know. Because no one knew. My heart stopped. Like I would just froze up cold. No. What are your thoughts on Amanda? She's a kind of a try hard. I don't love her. I think she's probably good for the show. No. You didn't know her. Are you going to have her on your show? Probably not. I have my favorite. I usually bring on my favorites. Where were you at the white party? Well, what happened was is that I got an invite from the Countess to go to the white party on Friday. Oh, okay. And so I texted Kyle and I'm like, hey, this is weird. I got an invite from the Countess for your white party. I go, I go, is this meant for me? I don't understand. And then Kyle didn't get back to me till Wednesday, the day of the party. She's like, no, I'm very busy right now. She goes, I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight. I go, no, no, no, no, I didn't hear back from you. I'm not coming, but it's, you know, it's not a big deal. She goes, well, Jen reached out twice. I said, well, clearly she has the wrong email. But I said, it's no big deal. It's okay. You didn't go. I didn't go. Oh, Teddy went. How was it? It was so much fun. Really? I mean, the Countess, it's... She's a good time. She's a good time. But I got an invite from the Countess to go to Kyle's party. I thought this is weird. I'm not going to show up unless I hear from Kyle. I think what I heard was they were loud. Each cast member was allowed to invite like 15 people. I don't know if that's true. I heard that. So she invited, Luanne invited Shane and I. Anyone else? No, no, no, no, that was it. Did you go Shane? No, not Jeff didn't go. I mean, same thing. Yeah, yeah. Did you want to go? Were there a lot of people there? There was a good amount of people there. Yeah. I mean, filming parties are always different because there's like, the music is not quite... Right. It's like, you know. Right, whatever they can clear. It's like porn music. Yeah. Was there any entertainment? Because remember the one year she had Wilson Phillips? Iconic. I don't want to give too much away, but I mean, we've seen it. I mean, the Countess was... Oh, she performed. She ziplined in. Didn't you see that on social media? She ziplined in. I did not see that. I did not see that. And she danced with a bunch of bushes. Bushes because she fell in the bush. No. Yes. Remember that year she fell in the bush drunk? Yes. Well, does she had a bunch of dancing bushes? And not that kind of bush. Wow, that's creative. We're talking the green kind of bush. Yeah, there's like, look, Josh. It's right there on the screen. I didn't see this. The bush. Okay, that's kind of amazing. Do you think she knows she can't sing? No. No. I don't think she cares. But she's a great performer. She is. But she's so fun. She shows her so fun. I mean, they are. Every time. It's a spectacle. I think she is. I do think so. Yeah, I do. I like her. I do too. I sat next to her at dinner at the 80s party. We've hung out socially. We've had the best time. Yeah. I mean, she's, I mean, she's an icon. Are you shocked that they are allowed to just show all the pictures of them filming for Ultimate Girls Trip? Every day there's new pictures are coming out. Like they had a wig snatch. A wig snatch competition in Miami. Yeah. I just saw that. And then they had the, they showed the white party. They showed some of the pictures from the Bunko party. And I'm like, at first I'm like, I can't post anything. And then I saw everyone like, I'm posting now. Well, we're filming right now and they're, they wanted us to stop doing their behind the scenes, which makes sense to me. What do you mean? You're filming one? We're filming still flipping out. Did you not, did you not know that show's coming back? Okay. Bravo podcast. Hello. It's, it's still coming out. We don't recap that show. I always, I always worry about you because you should piss people off and then you might get put on pause. That's true. No, we are filming right now. So I guess it's like a season 12 kind of a flipping out. Are they going to do it like that? They're calling it still flipping out. So it'll be like season one of still flipping out, but it's kind of flipping out. It's the same thing. Episode 12. And is it Bravo? It's Bravo. Yeah. When's it going to air? Andy's the EP. Oh, Schnapp. Oh. Yeah. Do you guys fight a lot? We do fight a lot, but he's been cool. He, he was, because I was the only one that basically showed up here during the holidays. So he, he said, You're a hard worker. He's like, I really appreciate it. I'm like, I'm like, yeah, I'm keeping the lights on here at serious exam. So he'll like, it's funny because we had a little falling out at BravoCon. And then usually with Andy and I, we'll have a pause and then one of us reaches out. So he reached out. He reached out. We talked after BravoCon. Yeah, like shortly after like Monday. So we very much aired our grievances. And then, but then I already know how it works. But then we both take a break and then one of us calls the other. So we took a break for how long? When was BravoCon? November. So we took a like a good 45 day break, which is a lot for us. Oh, no, he, I think I said something on also New Year's. I think I said, you know, congratulations, all of that. So we, you know, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. But yeah, it's a complicated relationship because we work together. You know, he's, he's my boss here and he's my boss at Bravo. So how did he go 45 days without talking to you if you're, you work with him? Maybe it's 30 days. Maybe it was like a week. No, no, no, no, it was noticeably. Maybe you're exaggerating. No, no, it was noticeably. It was noticeably like a good month. Yeah, it was BravoCon until Christmas time. I think he doesn't talk to me as long as he can. And then he has to reach out. But I feel like he likes his messiest talents the most. You know, here's the thing. That's what you guys tell yourself. You work with 32 flavors, right? I do. They said that I am by far the most difficult talent that they're working with. And it used to be Jareet, by the way, allegedly. Whoa. But they said I'm, and I'm miles ahead of her. Is it Alex tell you that? Alex and Jen Levy. Oh my God. But here's the thing, because I push back, I negotiate, I protect my people. You know you're worth. And I protect everyone around me. So everything is a bit of a pushback here and there. We're all, everything's worked out. It's very smooth right now. Yeah. But I said, you know, Andy was really happy with the first week of shooting. There was a lot, lot, he goes, I've been reading the, what is it called? Hot sheet. The hot sheet. Sounds like a lot's going on. And I said, look, I understand. I'm a pain in the ass. But I deliver. He wrote yes and yes. Yes. And I, I, I can see that. Who's on your new show? Shane, Kean, Annie, Jameson. I mean, everybody here. So it's. Zoila. No, Zoila retired, but her sister works for me. Oh, that's right. And she's like, honey. She's hilarious. And she's on it too. Yes. And then I have a, you know, there's a lot of personalities around me. Yeah. So I feel like. Those are just yours. There are things in life we make more complicated than they need to be. And things that we worry about that we don't need to. Like making tax digital for income tax. Is Jennifer Fessler in your network, your podcast network? It's the dirty rush, right? Yeah. How's that doing? Good. I was just on it. You were? Yeah, I was a guest on it like three weeks, two weeks ago. Oh, that's right. It was fun. By the way, I'm obsessed with Jackie. Jackie Shimmel. Yeah, I love Jackie. In fact, I just bought some under eye concealer that she was posting and I'm like, screw you, you made me buy it. You made me buy it. Can I tell you that I bought something from Bethany Frankel that she was posting? It was a purse. It was, and I did it because not because I'm going to use this purse, but I wanted to see what she was promoting. It was like a look-alike. Birken. Birken, right? So I bought this. I think I bought it too. I bought this piece of shit and it came to me. And then a month later, I was tied into a subscription. No. You subscribed to fake Birkins? I guess so. I'm like, I'll give it to my granddaughter. She can, you know, it was like half the size of the one that she was showing. I just wanted to see what it was. And for $59, I'm like, okay, I can do this. I feel like we bought one for Monroe. It was cute. It was little. We got one on Amazon. It was cute. Then you passed it off to me. But then I was pissed off that I was sucked into a subscription of fake designer bags. Oh, is that what that product is right now? Is that from the subscription? No, this is a real one. But it doesn't ex-a-dupe. I wouldn't say it was like, it doesn't say, you know. Teddy, we are getting calls for you. People would like to know where you are today with your health. You look amazing. Thank you. You look, I mean, you're one of those people that can pull off short hair. Yeah. I'm at an in-between length right now. I'm almost like, I'm almost to the least around the length. It looks, I mean, it looks really good. And I like it blonde for sure. Thank you. So you had a lot of surgeries. How many surgeries have you had? I don't even know. You really lost count. Like, I don't even know. I do know that I had stage four cancer. I still have stage four cancer, but I'm a task to size to my brain and lungs. I had four plum-sized tumors in my brain that had been living there for probably over a year. And the day after I was working with Tamara at the Super Bowl is when I went into the hospital. Well, we had to force her into the hospital. She was at, we were in New Orleans for Super Bowl and she kept like, she was falling, she was stumbling, she was slurring and I'm like, this bitch is drunk. Like, I'm like, what is going on? And she wasn't. And it was the tumors. And by the time she got home, it wasn't one of your eyes. I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it. I don't want to know my eyes. But you flew all the way home. You flew home thinking you was out of migraine? I flew home. Yeah, I thought I had a migraine. For six months. Oh my God. Yeah, for over six months I thought I had migraines. But is it true that, I mean, I mean, you tell me presently there's no detectable cancer? They can't say that because there's scar tissue, so they can't tell. But right now there's no detectable cancer. But you are still considered stage four for over three years. I see. And you have to continue on immunotherapy. Yeah, I'm still on immunotherapy, which kicks my butt. What is that exactly? It's kind of like the up and coming new cancer medication. So it's different. So I did radiation. That's why I lost my hair. And then I did immunotherapy. I didn't do chemo. You got lost your hair because they shaved your head for the surgery first. No, but yeah, right. But remember I had all those bald spots. Oh, you had the bald spots, yeah. So immunotherapy, what is that radiation? Is it chemotherapy? What is that? And it's just a medication. I go in for an IV treatment once a month and then go through. But it lowers your immune system, so you're strong enough to fight off like the negative cells. I don't even really understand it. It's like a healthier version of chemotherapy or something. It uses your own immune system to fight the cancer. But it sounds like it's working. It's working. Thank God. Now, you're saying though that you're starting to feel side effects of all of the surgeries. I'm not sure if I'm feeling side effects from all of the surgeries or I'm feeling side effects from all the things that happened in the past year. I see. So not only have I had surgeries and I have certain tactile issues and things like that that I haven't figured out how to do it. My shaking has gotten better. I was really shaky for a while. But I also, I mean, I didn't even process the fact that I was getting divorced, that I was, you know, sick in the hospital thinking I could still pod from there. No. Do you, so are you, you're separated, but you have not, no one is filed? No, because I'm not considered in a place where I'm strong enough to even do that. I think that's smart. I think that's very smart because it's incredibly stressful. So Edwin is, you're living in the marital home. Yes. And Edwin has moved out. Yes. But it sounds like you have a nice co-parenting relationship. Yeah, we have a good co-parenting relationship. That's good. It's just, it's, you definitely go through highs and lows. Like I definitely, there are days where I've forgotten all the reasons why we aren't together. Because when you're feeling really down or low, when you're having cancer treatments, then, you know. You want that person with you. Yeah. So has he been there for you? I mean, he has sometimes. Okay. So it's, yeah. But you have a good support system around you? I have a lot of good friends. Good. You know, Tamra's one of them, but I have a lot of good friends. You have a great group of girls that you've known for years with Kyle and Chad's been incredible. Now, are you part of managing all of these podcasts, Teddy? Well, right now, we, I don't manage them, but we make sure. Essentially, they've kind of weaned me off of anything that's super difficult because it's just not something I can do right now. And let me ask you this. I don't know where you're, where you are with Emily Simpson, but you guys, you know, this last season, you, you know, there was some conflict. Doesn't she have a podcast on your network? Yes, she does. How does that work with you? I mean, I guess if she's making you money, who cares, right? Exactly. But I was, yeah, that's exactly, yeah. I just had an issue with Emily saying like she's not on our network and she is on our network and she's on our feed. She's just solely be on our feed. And then once the certain time passed, then she was, now she's only on our feed once a month. Twice a month. Or twice a month. Twice a month. So I think she's just for a week, I mean for a month. And then she's on our network. So when you're on our feed, like it goes out to all our subscribers. Right. So anybody that has a new podcast, that is like amazing for them. They're being set up for. Success. Success. However, they have to perform. And Emily's podcast does, she does perform. She does a great job with Shane. And it was kind of one of those things like just say thank you or just like don't sit there and go, I'm not on your, you are on my network. You are. You're on our network. So you felt it was ungrateful. Yes. That's how I felt. And she understood her positioning on your network has really helped boost her podcast. I would like to think so. She's been on the show a couple of times. She and Shane are great. Yeah. I mean, they were great on the radio. I imagine they're good on the podcast as well. Yeah. And you know, we were fighting at the reunion and I did have a conversation with her at BravoCon. And we both apologized to each other. Good. Although I haven't talked to her since then. But then she quickly got up from our table and went and hung out with the other girls. Oh yeah, that's true. What other girls? I think it was Jen Katronite and. We were at a Bravo event and we were all like, you know, we were the only three there and she was from Housewives and she was hanging out with us. I will say that Jen Padrante is very likable. I think she's likable as a viewer. Right. I don't know her as well as you do. She's been on this podcast once or twice. She was lovely. How, where do you stand today with Jennifer Padrante? I don't really have a relationship with her. We don't really talk. I don't think that we had a horrible reunion. I'm hoping that we can move forward and just, you know, start off clean. I know and I acknowledge that I was hard on her the first season coming back on the show. Oh, I was, I was. And, and, um, you know, I definitely regret that. I didn't lie about anything, but I don't, I regret it. And, um, you know, the show's about conflict and resolution and I tried, I've tried to move on. How many times do you plan to quit this season? Um, well, none. Please. Cause we're, yes. Well, I mean, I gave her a big lecture about that. Yeah. Thank you, Teddy. Yeah. Even from my hospital bed, I was like, listen, I know you're not quitting and I don't want to hear another word about it. Thank you. But here's the thing. Like I was going through some tough shit in my life and when the big scheme of things like, why do I want to have somebody yelling at me when I'd rather be sitting next to Teddy at the hospital or at the hospital? Well, she's yelling at me. Right, but you have a job. I understand those places you'd rather be, but you have a job. Yeah, but in my mind, I just couldn't, I just kept thinking about her. I was so worried about her. I knew how, we've talked about this before. Yeah. You and I spoke many times. Why can't I have an emotional year without people shitting on me? I knew you were spread very, very thin. You were spread very thin. Yeah, I was. And then not to mention guys, I was doing therapy and then. Yeah. Do we have to shoot that again? No, I told them never. Thank you. Never. I'm over it. I'm over it. You don't need therapy. I don't want to do therapy anymore. I am very happy with who I am. And if you don't like it, that's a you problem. Right. Thank you. Yes. But so I was going through a lot, whatever, whatever. So what do you think Gina, how does, how is it that Gina has nine lives? I mean, she's going into season eight. She's a cat? How has she been able to skate by eight seasons now? Well, somebody thinks she's great TV, so she stays on. I think she narrates. I do too. I think she does exactly what the producers tell her. Go bring up this. Go talk about this. I do think that she's stepped things up. I think in the last couple of years, like, you know, we don't have any more bad weave and she, you know, I have a soft spot from Regina because, you know, she got divorced. It was a bad situation. She didn't rely on alimony or anything like that. She got a real. I don't think it was an option, right? Yeah. Well, she got real estate license. Like, she's like a hustler. Yeah. So I respect that. Yeah. Okay. I respect it. She went from a casita to a, to a house. Like she's. To a casa. Yeah. Well, we could all rent a house. She bought a house. She bought, she bought that house and now I think. The new one? No, I think the new one's rented, but I think her, she does own a house. She owns a house. She's bought a house before. Yeah. It's rented. I think she rents out her house and then she's renting this bigger house. But I think she's doing well. Yeah. Good. Yeah. And I like to see that. I like to see my housewives like doing other things besides just being a housewife. Agreed. Agreed. So you like watching housewives sell real estate? Well, at least they have a job. I just want, I just want these housewives to have another job because this is not a career. It's not like you're like. Do it the same way. You know what? Oh, I get fired tomorrow. Oh, well, I'm going to go get a job on Netflix. No, it doesn't work like that. Yeah. Right. It doesn't work like that. You're going to go to Nordstrom. You could make good money there though. Yeah, it's true. The shoe department. Oh, very sick. You could make a lot of money. You could make like a hundred grand a year there. Is that true? Yeah. Lyndon, Texas for Teddy, line three. Hi, Lynda. Shout out, Sean. What's up, Sean? Hi, Lynda. Thank you. First, I just wanted to say that I would love to see Amanda from Beverly Hills and Vicki like on a show together. I think that would be perfect. Because they're both so unaware. But I think Vicki would eat her alive. Vicki would eat her up. She'd be like, what do you do? I don't understand it. It doesn't make any sense. Uh-huh. Yes. No, but I wanted to ask Teddy, so since she's been going through this health journey, it seems like, you know, your father's trying to like draw in closer to you. Have y'all become closer as a result of this? And do you also feel like your previous health status, like, you know, working out and stuff like that helped you basically, uh, master through this journey as well? Uh-huh. I would say the first thing in regards to my dad, he calls me every single day. Um, I'm super emotional still about everything. So he knows that I have highs and lows, so he's calling. Um, in regards to getting through this, I don't want to, I can't even say that anymore. I can't say it's because I'm healthier. It's because I worked out so hard. All I can say is that I really fought hard for it. But you were very fit going into this, where maybe a lot of people wouldn't have had the chance that you did because you were so healthy going into this. Yeah. It had to have helped. Yeah. It had to. And by the way, you, your dad would call you before your cancer. Like every time we're together, he's always calling. I know. So it's not like you had like a strained relationship. She was like on the today show or something telling everybody who wanted me to move home. She liked text me. She's like, fuck my life. And you're not considering that. No, I don't think me and Indiana are some problem. I, you know, I'll be honest. I thought in the very beginning, I thought it would be good for you to be home with your, with your brothers and your sister and your dad and just to have that, you know, but you're like, no. My sister lives in South Carolina. So that would be the day. Is that close to Indiana? No. Wow. Also want to promote two Ts in a pod, which is on now five days a week with Tamara and Teddy. And then if you go to vena CBD.com now and you use the Jeff Vena code, you can get 30% off every product. Every product. Yeah. So you're, you strongly recommend these tonics. I, Annie does too. I strongly recommend the gummies for those of you that have trouble sleeping. Yeah. I mean, they're, I take it every night. I get it. And I freak out if, like, if I travel and I forget it, I'm like, I'm fucked. I can't sleep. I know it's horrible. I'm going to have to go find some night. Well, so I know that's the only thing that works. You're right. You're right. The night. Well, you're exactly right. I did want to ask you guys. So, you know, they film you guys getting your hair and makeup all the time. I hate that. I hate it. You know, they tried to do that yesterday to me. I called Michael back and I said, so the guy with the producer, Kurt, he comes in, he's like, Hey, cause Shane and I get like 10 minute. Little, yeah. Quick little touch ups. You get a little powder. Yeah. He goes, not today, but he goes, he goes, Hey, yeah, we'd like to film you getting makeup. I go, fuck. No. I go, this is not housewives. We're not doing round robins. We're not doing makeup. And I said, those are for, those are for shows where they don't have content. I said, but we have content. We don't have to film us getting fucking makeup. And so did you, instead they can pour you, film you like pouring an orange juice or do you? So did they do it or no? No. No wonder there are problems. No wonder they said, you're the most difficult to work with. I know. I said, I don't want this show like any other show on Bravo. I know it's formulaic. I said, but I'm not part of that formula. You count me out. Nobody wants to watch you get a makeup put on. No, it's stupid. No, that would be really upsetting for a lot of people. Now for the housewives, you know, sometimes they have no friends and they own their only friends are their makeup artists. And the only time you ever hear their opinions about the girls is with their makeup artists because they have no friends. I know. And they never show our makeup artists. So I should probably film the makeup. Debbie of release. So my makeup artists and hair, they get like excited, like, oh, we're going to film, but then only their arm is shown. Yeah. With their tattoos. Yeah. That's funny. Now, Teddy, three shows right now that we have to watch. Three shows that you have to watch. I would say. It doesn't have to be Bravo. It doesn't have to be Bravo. It doesn't have to. But we might as well. Okay, start with Bravo. I mean, if you haven't watched Salt Lake City, I would say binge that. Yeah. Of course. I think you need to binge that. I think you need to be up to date. I would say Shaw's. The Valley Persian style. Yeah. And I'm hoping to end up saying Real Housewives of Orange County. We won't be. Sorry, Tamara. It's not enough of a shake up. Not enough of a shake up. Okay. I loved his and her. That I don't think they fixed Real Housewives of Orange County. Sorry. Well, we haven't filmed yet. Maybe it'll be fun and you're all in a good place. Beverly Hills is good. I love Rachel Zoe. I love Rachel Zoe. I love you too. She's the perfect fit. Perfect, perfect fit. She's great. She's great. And Amanda's unfortunately going to be our sacrificial lamb. Do you think that she'll be back? I don't know. Do you think we're going to learn more about the cold? She could be a one and done. There's a cold. We've kind of done a little deep dive too with the courses and all of that. Yeah. And it's a good business model. But it's, you know, I don't. But then now she's showing it on TV. She needs some Vina CBD. She probably takes it. Vina code. Can you believe that? She said that about her husband. She's like, I make more than he does. That was so emasculating. I would kill her. That was so emasculating. She's got a house in Newport too. Or she rents a house. She rents it. Yeah, like Jaina does. Oh my God. You know what? I'm late to the game in this one. But you know what? I started watching Euphoria. Oh my God. He loves it. That's my favorite one. Well, I read that they're going to do a new season. Traders. Yeah, they're from the 30s too. Oh, traders. It's so good. Oh, it's the best season ever. Are you watching the beauty? I want to watch the beauty. It's a new land man. I love land man. I love land man. Are you on third season? No, no, third season. Or second season. No, no, I'm still on first season. I mean second season, yeah. But I know the guy dies. Wait, what guy dies? Hold on. Nobody dies? Yes, it's somebody dies. Somebody dies. Right, Teddy? Somebody dies. Teddy Mellenkamp is so good to see you. I watch the entire season. Why can't I remember? I'll tell you when we're done. I don't want to spoil it. And then I'll be like, oh yeah, I remember. I was very, very happy to see you, Teddy. Oh, thank you so much for having me. Thanks, Sir Cami Tamra. Thanks for listening.
