The Bigfoot Society podcast features firsthand accounts from witnesses claiming encounters with Bigfoot and similar cryptids across remote wilderness areas in Oregon, Kentucky, and Washington. Multiple callers describe physical evidence, vocalizations, and aggressive behaviors, with one paranormal investigator sharing thermal imaging data suggesting a 7-foot creature.
Insights
- Witnesses consistently report wildlife going silent before encounters, suggesting prey animals detect predatory presence before humans do
- Physical evidence patterns (tree knockings, displaced logs, large footprints) appear corroborated across geographically distant regions, indicating either widespread phenomenon or shared cultural narrative
- Experiencers show reluctance to report encounters publicly due to credibility concerns, suggesting significant unreported incident volume
- Thermal imaging and forensic analysis methods are increasingly being applied by amateur investigators, creating new data collection approaches outside institutional frameworks
- Certain geographic hotspots (Rainier OR, Marion KY, Wolf Creek Wilderness) show clustering of recent reports, suggesting either migration patterns or heightened witness awareness

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. You're listening to Bigfoot Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you firsthand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible. From backwoods, trails, and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere, and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it to settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. Hey, how's it going? How's it going, man? Hey, good. Feel free to share, man, what you experienced. Yeah, so I was out. So I live in Eugene and I'm mushroom hunt. Oh, yeah. Out in the... up in the Wolf Creek wilderness. Seuss La Forest up there, up that way. So I was up there and I had two experiences. I'll just tell you about the one, though. So the one experience, I was probably about... I don't know, maybe a eighth of a mile away from my truck. Pretty far out. I mean, I was probably a good, maybe 10 miles from the highway of the Login Road. So probably halfway in between... Oh, halfway in between, like, around the Von Road area between there and the Highway 126. So that area is very remote. Really, there's no people out there. In fact, they actually close off a lot of the logging roads periodically. There's only a certain times of the year that you're able to kind of get back there. But anyway, so all of a sudden, all the wildlife just got... Like the birds and stuff just got super quiet. Like there was... You could just... Like the hair on the back of my neck was standing up. And I'm not saying that that's what that was, right? But something really odd was going on. There was just a feeling of sense, sort of like a, hey, something... I'm not alone, but there's nothing else out here. Like everything quieted down. You know what I mean? Absolutely. And so I'm telling you this, I'm getting this off my chest. You're the only one that knows. Oh, wow. I appreciate that. I don't take that for granted, man. Thank you. So, but I do follow you and I like your stuff. And actually, there's a video on my... I do have a video on my page of this encounter, but I haven't talked about it. The first person I've talked to about it. I'm like, I'm gonna do a call. I'm just gonna see if I get an answer back. And so I did this call, right? And I got a response back. Right? And it's faint, but you can hear it. And right about then, so once I cut the video, I was on my way back to the truck is when I had the encounter, right? So I kind of got scared and I started kind of like moving with a quickness. And I had to go uphill. Not a really steep grade, but I had to go uphill. And I could hear something behind me, probably a good maybe 30 yards behind me breaking brush. Right? And it was and that was the only thing that really broke the silence was all of a sudden like big brush was being broken. You know, and so I just started running. I was terrified. I started running, right? And as I'm running and I'm yelling to my mom, my mom is disabled. She likes to go mushroom hunting with me, but she just likes to sit in the truck and it's like hang out like look around the truck type type stuff. Just kind of get out of nature and I'm yelling at my mom. I'm like, start the truck. We got to go. Yeah, right. And she's like, what? She can't really hear me. And just then I look over my left shoulder and a log and I want to say probably about I want to say probably about about as big around as a football, you know, about this big around. And probably about three feet long came whizzing by my head like a boomerang and and hit in front of me, right? And at that point, you know, I just kind of like I just kind of like, I don't really remember much, man. I just just run in and I got back to my truck and then that was it. Oh my goodness. That's wild. I was laughing because it reminded me of that part and Raiders of lost Ark when he's like start the plane. Jack and he's like running back to his plane. Right. When the sound went out. Was there any pressure change in your ears? You know, I wouldn't say there was a pressure change in my ears, but there was a but you could definitely you could feel like a barometric pressure drop. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, totally. I almost like I want to say a thickness. I don't know something like that. You know, I don't know how to I don't know how to describe it. You know, I just know that I spent a lot of time out in the bush mushroom hunting that time of year. You know, and I can tell when it suddenly goes from one state to another state. You know what I mean? And I've also come across some bears where where where bears have like wildlife quiet down when they're when the bears are around there too. Like, I've seen that. The only time I've seen that is when I came across bears with cubs, you know, and they're and they're not they're not super friendly, you know, and I got my bear mace and everything else like that. And I got those and this was not that because there was a the the the sort of the the sense the the the general you sort of like ominous feeling, you know, the other encounter. I'll just tell you so I was so I have my 357 out there. I just like to go out there and just shoot right. Sure. And I was in this spot. Okay, well, okay, look, I'll tell you this. I'll tell you how this whole encounter culminated right. So I go into this little cul-de-sac and some of these logging roads are just sort of built, like to bring equipment out to an area so they could log and then so there's a bunch of like dead ends cul-de-sacs and stuff and a cul-de-sacs really but there's dead ends. You know, and one of them I went I went on that I hadn't been on as probably about maybe a hundred yards, 200 yards, right. And this is in about a 20 foot stand or 20 year stand, right. It's a 20 year old trees, right. And so I get in there and I'm doing a mushroom hunting and stuff around there and on my way back out. There were there were these, you know, trees. I don't know if there are 20 year stands, maybe 10 year, 20 year, yeah, 20 year stands about right. They're probably about maybe like eight to 10 inches in diameter that were neatly laid across the road. And I was trapped in there. Right, so I had, there's probably about four trees and I was, and it was not far from me. I didn't hear any of the trees go down and they were ripped up from the roof. And so I had my truck and I was able to hook my, my, my, my toe rope on them and pull them out of the way. You know, but that really kind of scared me a little bit. I drove a little ways, you know, to where I normally go shooting. This is on the same wilderness. This is probably about two miles away from where I had that encounter. And, and I went to this one other place where it was kind of kind of like where I can kind of shoot where I know there's a backdrop of a hill, you know, so I'm not going to like, you know, because I'm really careful about that. And, and I was just messing around and I was like, I was like, all right, listen, Squatch, I'm going to shoot into the wilderness, but I ain't shooting at you. So don't, you know, I don't want you to give me the business. Right. And, and so I fired off around and right after I fired this round off, it goes, I heard this. It was like 20 feet from me, almost like it scared it, you know, and, and it was like, I'm talking to you. That's how loud I heard it. Like someone was there with me, you know, like, and I'm, and I'm telling you, I'm in the middle of nowhere. Like there's absolutely, you know, it was, it was, it was crazy. And that was the same day that the trees in the road and then the firing off that round. And that was, and there was probably three years in between those encounters. That's wild. How, how long ago were the years on that? Would you say? Well, I'm not, I'm not sure. I want to say like maybe two years ago was that was the, was the encounter where the, where the log got thrown. At me. I don't know. You can look at my, my video on my, I posted it. I can't remember what day it was. Sometimes it was two years before that. Actually, I know it was more than that as well. Like four years before that was, was when I had the like trees laid out in the road. Oh my goodness. Those, those are wild. Thank you for sharing. So that's size was how you say it's a sea slot national forest. Yeah. So you say the national forest in the Wolf Creek wilderness. Yep. Okay. Wild, wild stuff. Have you ever, do you do any mushroom hunting out by Oak Ridge and the woolen? Now, most of my spots, the only spots I have are coastal and those are pretty well, pretty high populated areas. You know, I wouldn't imagine there'd be a lot of squatchy stuff going on there. I do know I do have I do have some friends that are that are from Siusla that have had some that have had some encounters around the It's like the I'm trying to think the name of the creek Whitaker Creek area Okay the the local fable is that There's a bridge or there's a there's a tunnel that you have to go through on the way to Florence and it's right around that area and That tunnel there's this this huge steep like like huge steep Terrain all around that tunnel entrance right and There was a lot of these in count. There was a lot of these Encounters where like a bunch of people that were driving by a saw and injured bigfoot around that area That had fallen Well, I mean they suspect that he was fallen that he had fallen and he could not get back up that area So there's like like a whole afternoon of people that saw a big foot in that area and that's that's the local town there in Mapleton That's kind of the local the local story. So every time every time Me and my family drive through that tunnel we we my kids yell for squash out the window That's awesome, I was gonna guess it looks like that's the Knowles Creek Tunnel is what I can see on a map and yeah If you look it up on Google Maps, it's very high steep ground By that tunnel the eastern the eastern front of it is very very steep so like going from Eugene to the coast like that eastern part is very very steep Gotcha My goodness, are you thinking of going out to Oak Ridge for the Bigfoot Festival destroy? Oh I don't know. I might that would be kind of fun. I know that my I got a couple of my daughters are firm believers a couple of them are not Gotcha, got you. Well, yeah, it's a fun time if you if you end up If you end up making it Be sure to say hi, I'll be there speaking this year. So perfect It'll be my third year out there, but thank you for coming up man is fun chatting with you Absolutely, you have you tonight Bon site. What's up, brother? Hey having a good day. How about you? Hey doing well just hanging out and not too bad in Iowa. What are you up to? Just kicking back and resting I thought I had enough time to give you one more short story it was actually the very first time I ever had a Experience where I visually Visually saw a big foot and We were building a bridge down on the Applegate never grant pass and One of the guys that worked with me he Was friends with a minor that had three minds in the commie opposite wilderness area and He said he asked me said so Would you like to go with us this weekend and go stay at the mines and maybe do some gold sniping and Fish in and whatnot. I said, yeah, that'd be that'd be great so So we pull onto the ridgeline. There's a green lock gate So you have to have a special key and the miners He had the key And we drove down in there. It was approximately approximately six miles of four-wheel drive low range just crawling down in there and We get down to his main little cabin and he was living in a small cabin and he Pointed us in the right direction to go up the draw above his cabin to get to the cabin. We were staying out so we headed up there and we're pulling up there and Here's this beautiful huge log cabin and it's got a It's got an outhouse about No, but 150 yards from the cabin Yeah Anyway, she she checks that out and she goes she goes I'll tell you one thing and I said well, what's that? She said well, I'm not going out to that outhouse by myself at night I said, oh, that's fine. I'll go out with you So anyhow, we we got out at the cabin and Immediately noticed that it was just absolutely dead still silent around the cabin It's hard to concentrate when you're worried about your health It can feel like there's a wall between you and the rest of the world Like you can't be fully present Hello, Axa health, how can I help? At Axa health insurance we build our teams with people who care so when you need us we're here to support you For cover that cares search Axa health insurance Pre-existing conditions are not covered when you manage procurement for multiple facilities every order matters But when it's for a hospital system, they matter even more Granger gets it and knows there's no time for managing multiple suppliers and no room for shipping delays That's why Granger offers millions of products and fast dependable delivery So you can keep your facility stocked safe and running smoothly Call 1-800 Granger click Granger.com or just stop by Granger for the ones Get it done If you work in university maintenance Granger considers you an MVP because your playbook ensures your arena is always ready for tip-off and Granger is your trusted partner Offering the products you need all in one place from HVAC and plumbing supplies to lighting and more and all delivered with plenty of time left on the clock So your team always gets the win call 1-800 Granger visit Granger.com or just stop by Granger for the ones who get it done I Mean there there wasn't frogs making noise or weren't crickets. Nothing was making any noise It was just dead calm still and a slight slight must be smell Not unlike a pack rat, but it was not a pack rat I've because I was raised in the woods and I know what pack rats smell like so anyhow Nothing occurred the first night. I got up the next morning and and they told me that the cricks just just below the cabin and We were only like three miles from the ocean. So it's really good fly fishing So I took my my cow dog at the time. His name was Gris. He was a Australian kepper Kelpie shepherd cross and He was a bad Bad dog as far as hunting bear Getting bulls out, you know bull like beef out at Boggs If if I put him on something he went after it. He got it. He got it out or Send it up a tree or whatever So him and I walked down over the edge or just trail heading right down to the Crick and get down there and Right off the bat the side I was on Was brushy and the other side was the start of a big elongated Gravel bar and up at the head of the gravel bar It made a bend and there was a really nice hole up there So I thought well, this is this is just a perfect setup for fly fishing I'll we'll just creep up there and stay away away from the creek because the water was pretty clear and I cast my fly over into that pool and see what we get get out of there and so I started walking up there and and started stripping line out and and I'd made about three overhead cast and I finally landed the fly in the pool and Just as the fly lands in the pool I heard a big crash on the ridge line up above me and This was big old growth dark forest that started right at the cabin and Went down into the creek bottom and across and up the ridge line It went for miles of old growth forest in there. Like I say it was the commie opposite wilderness and and I Look I stop and totally forget about my my fishing and I look up the ridge and I can see this big tall black thing I Could just tell that it looked like a man or something upright and It started coming down the ridge line to my left towards that point and He would hit trees that were 12 14 inches around and Just slam into them and shake them and if there was any branches in The area where he grabbed he'd rip those branches off and just throw them like they were twigs, you know so it looked like a thrasher coming down off the hill and He's Unfortunately, well, maybe it's fortunate because probably would have scared me to death to have an absolute visual on him but fortunately for me all I ever got to see was a big tall black upright figure and He went he came all the way down that ridge line and probably hit five or six different trees and He got to the point right directly in front of me and Got right next to a tree and he's still in the shadows So I can't pick out specific details all I could tell was Was he was tall? He was wide and big and and So I stopped He stops and he stopped. He's just dead still Didn't make a move once he stopped and my dog he He caught wind of it or he Heard and seen what was going on He ran by me ran up to within about 50 yards of where this thing was standing. He was very brave Yeah Dog, I thought he was gonna chase it off What was in my mind? Good? Grizzled chase up chase off whatever it is. Yeah, I'm safe Anyway, so Grizz he stops Put his nose in the Here and then he basically Just put his nose back between his back legs and took Back towards the cabin. He went by me so fast. I felt the wind blow when he went by And I'm like, holy cow. This isn't gonna work. This isn't gonna work out So I did have my My little 22 pistols strapped on my hip totally forgot about it. It would have been useless anyway and Unless something attacks me, I'm not I'm not going to use anything for protection anyway, but this thing it just seemed like it was Trying to give me every Option in the world to just get out of there. It was telling me I Don't want you here You're not welcome here get out of here So so I took off after Grizz and all I could see was his tail going around the corner Right before he ran up the hill to the Up towards the cabin So I get down there and I get I walk up the trail and and get towards the top and there there stands my wife and Grizz sitting there looking down the hill towards me and less and my wife says What happened what grizzly he's never left you before and Do me a favor and close that door We're babysitting eight little dogs right now. Oh my goodness Wow If a bug flies by they're after it Yeah, so anyway, my wife says what happened white white grizz leave you and so I told her to the story and she goes well let's let's go back down there and check it out and I got to thinking about it and I thought well, okay, I Just happened to have a 12 gauge shotgun in my pickup with double-op buck because we'd been Me and the guy that Went in there had been bear hunting in the Agnes area in its oak brush so basically use shotgun shells and double-op buck and So I got it out made sure it was loaded up properly and Jacked one in the chamber and we started down the hill down the trail towards the creek and I did fine Getting down to the creek and I made it about Probably about 50 yards and it felt like something just Put its hand out and put just right directly on my chest and just stopped me And my wife says what's wrong? Let's go. Let's go see what what that was and I said well I'm pretty sure what it was. I said they I didn't get You know absolute detail of every Thing about it, but I'm pretty sure I know what it was And she says well, let's go. Let's get up there and I looked at her and I said I Can't go any further. She said what do you mean? You can't go any further. I said Something feels like it just stopped me like it felt like I ran into a wall basically and so She goes well, what do you want to do? And I said well, I want to go I want to go back down to the cab and load Her stuff up and get out of here. I said I'm not staying another night with with this With this saying telling us to leave, you know, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, so anyhow, that was That was my first encounter Where I had visible sight of Creature upright creature and like I said, unfortunately, I didn't get a super good view of it which May or may not be Might be better. I didn't get a that good a view of it. I may have never wanted to go back in the woods again I don't know What what a first what a first encounter to have though was that near the big foot trap down there? Um, I don't know anything about it. They're there are three mines on the property and When you come in from the grants past side Yeah, it's just the first quick that you get to after you come through the lock gates I I don't okay. I haven't heard anything about a big foot trap in the area Yeah, there's a there's a big foot trap in Applegate, Oregon spend their sense of 70s. What a what year did this happen to you though? this was 1979 it was a year after we've been up in all and So anyhow, that's my little short story for the day, you know, I'll save more and come back Yeah, that's awesome. I appreciate you come you both coming up. It's hot and see you sir You got you talk more later. He so wouldn't go out to the outhouse after that. Yeah, there wasn't going there Wasn't anywhere. I was going out to the outhouse. So we just we just loaded everything up and left Never went back either I got lots of good stories for you. We mushroom hunt three times a week Wow every week all spring long and we go for mushroom hunt the berry pickin and We have we have things going on almost daily, but My goodness dude. Oh all yet. All right, I'll connect with you on Gmail I believe it was and We'll do a longer cast Yes, sir, we'll talk later. Good to talk to you again, man All right. I'll watch to see what you got going on here for a while. Have a good one. Thank you. You too. Hi there How's it going? Hey Good good. How are you? Hey doing really good. Thanks for coming up. Feel free to share what your experiences would love to hear it. Yeah, I was a I'm a retired army major of 21 years. I just retired last year in my early days I was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 2004 to 2010 and My wife and I thought it would be really cool to live out in the country and the backwoods way down South and to the west of The base kind of like where the where the back 40 ends and so we ended up Renting a nice acreage in the land between the lakes and It wasn't too far into After we got there, I just got back from Iraq the second time and I Heard a loud growl That did not sound like a dog. It didn't sound like a bear. It didn't sound like a tiger or lion It was it was something I've never heard of before And with me being just back from Iraq fresh. I wanted to kill And so I ran into the house. I said Julie Where's my bat? And she said, oh, am I supposed to know you just got back check the closet? I Said, oh, yeah, I checked my closet There was my bat. I Grabbed the bat. I ran fearlessly back to the tobacco barn Because we had a tobacco barn for this rental property I went right where the growl was and I started banging on the tobacco barn and said Where are you at? Come out here right now. Face me. You M. Effer face me now and I kept Banging the bat on the barn on the tobacco barn. I Felt like I was being watched the whole time and studied And I just kept getting more angry and I banged that barn until I didn't want to bang it anymore And for the rest of time that I live there There was any time I was if I stepped outside to have a cigarette or Anything like that or tending to the dogs. There was always this Rustling more than just like a possum or something like that sounded like a walking or and I would run up into the holler With my bat and say where you at Come out here now and I and I would egg this thing on and it would never face me And then one night It was a Saturday night I Wanted to go into town because we were about three miles outside of town. We were in the country road My Jeep was gone. I thought it was stolen. I Called the police I Told them my Jeep was gone as a brand new Jeep And then I went went out there again And it was pushed all the way into the edge of the creek bed Like it it stopped right before the tires went into the creek And I called the police bag I said don't come out here somehow My Jeep rolled 50 yards and Stopped right before the creek. I'm fine When you manage procurement for multiple facilities every order matters But when it's for a hospital system, they matter even more Granger gets it and knows there's no time for managing multiple suppliers and no room for shipping delays That's why Granger offers millions of products and fast dependable delivery so you can keep your facility stocked safe and running smoothly Call 1-800-GRAGNGER click Granger.com or just stop by Granger for the ones who get it done And They said are you sure do you still want us to come out to investigate I said No, it's fine. I don't know how my brand new Jeep slipped out of gear but it's right here and it's about to go in the creek and It's all good So this thing and I went back and forth Since I got back from Iraq the second time until I moved on base in 2010 and It was a very it was just a very caddy back and forth experience with this thing I don't think it was big foot. I think it was dog man Sure, I was gonna ask. Yeah, definitely. I think it was more of it. I think it was a more of a dog man Anyways, that's my story How far did it have to push your Jeep to get it 50 yards? I lived on the 40 I Lived on a 40 acre acreage. It was a beautiful rental property out in the country and land between the lakes and When I didn't see my I would park I'm just gonna say this and I'm not saying this, you know to sound like a coward, but You know with all this back and forth I was doing with this creature. I Actually pulled my Jeep Onto the front yard So when I came down the steps of the front porch, I could get in my Jeep Started up and go not walk over to the driveway So when I when I walked out that night to have a cigarette on the porch It was gone and I couldn't see it and so that's when it all started, you know until I Actually went out and investigated like there it is way down in the creek. Wow. How did that happen brand new Jeep slipped out of gear really? Oh my goodness, but thank you for sharing we don't get a lot of dog man stuff on here And also thank you for your your service during Tour over there. Absolutely Appreciate it. Thank you so much Man that's that's a lot to go through and and That could have gone a whole different way. I'm glad it didn't it didn't get too wild I think you gotta stand up to these things. That's all I can say is I you gotta stand up to these things and Beat your chest a little bit because that's what I did the whole time and it never mess with me physically They mess with me more on the mental level, you know I'm mess with me like sure, you know, so Whoo, yeah beat your chest against these things out there beat your chest, you know, don't don't back down. That's all I can say I'd say dog man for dog man. You're right. I've done that with Bigfoot and it turned out a little differently for me It turned into an infrasound experience, but I think dog man. You're on the right track Yeah, thank you for coming upstairs. Great talking to you. I appreciate it. Thank you so much for having me All right, there is reckoning I I need to talk to you I saw your comments about Rainier, Oregon and you're having activity Reconing if you can hit one of those plus signs in the but okay, here we go. Hey, how's it going? Good. Can you guys hear me? Yeah, yeah, so just a few things before we get going So it sounds like you are having activity in Rainier, Oregon, correct? Have you heard my episode about Rainier, Oregon? So I actually we moved here in October just this recent October You know the activity I didn't I've had it previous experiences with Bigfoot I'm originally from Eastern Washington ever since I was a child. I've had experiences So I kind of the noises and stuff, you know all with all the activity of moving in and everything I didn't really pay too much attention wasn't until around Christmas time when I actually Was outside and heard tree knocks and it was solid. It was solid I mean, you know what it sounds like So I started looking into I knew there was activity. I knew Rainier here in Oregon, you know I've always been interested in Bigfoot and any any truth that I can find in regards to him him and I It's just been so it's just been so wild So I yes ran across ran across your episode on Rainier, Oregon So I ended up running into a guy Down at the gas station here and this was probably four or five days ago and I we were just chatting and I told him, you know, hey, I you know just moved up here He goes, oh, you're not very far from near City Road. Are you and I said no, I'm not and he asked me point blank He says, oh, have you seen the Bigfoot's yet? And I said, I knew it. I knew it. I absolutely knew it I said, I just didn't want to go around town being like this is going on Was that guy on the motorcycle? He was not he was an older gentleman working down at the gas station. Yeah He's lived here in Rainier most of his life and he said So a couple of people that I have talked to kind of I don't make a big deal about it, you know But once I hear something I kind of feel I can open up and kind of ask, you know And from what I have gathered is the Bigfoot's they're seeing up here are incredibly large Incredibly incredibly large And they're black. They're very big and very black And they're not kind They're not kind at all I heard the family that was harassed on your City Road. They were not treated kindly by them at all They from what I've heard From this older gentleman the conversation he was getting other people gas at the same time So I was kind of he was kind of back and forth and he was like just wait a second. I got to talk to you I'm like, yeah, man. So what really what really got to me Was he asked me do you have young children and I do I actually have a six-year-old son and He said, yeah, you just got to be careful run. I you know, I got bakers out here. We're pretty rural out here And yeah, he specifically mentioned that so now I'm like Okay, so how far can I go on my property? You know, it's a solid every other night. I'm here in tree knocks and it's right across from my back deck probably Probably a hundred fifty two hundred yards. It's it's every night every other night. I'm out here and it is solid tree knocks We hear yelling But sometimes I can't make it out if it's coyotes It's just been it's been so different for the last couple months I thought it was gonna be quiet up here, but it's definitely not quiet. It's not quiet at all Okay, holy mackerel Have you have you seen anything weird yet? Not particularly me and my son when we first moved here We went we weren't too sure what it was we found some we found some scat in a tree with some weird fur and We were just like why would there be scat that there must be a bear it must have been a bear My son looks at me to goes mom. That's that's pretty yes I'm not sure if that's I said we better just roll on out of here. We probably shouldn't be this far back here, you know There's just been things where we've questioned like that just doesn't fit You know what this doesn't make any sense. It kind of shows off an alarm bell in your head or something, you know Any Any tracks or anything showing up around the house Not around the house, but along the tree line down at the bottom of my hayfield we have some pretty thick mud because it leads down to a creek and We went down there about a month ago And we were walking along because we got a bobcat on our property and he took some of our chickens So we were kind of trying to follow the path and we came across We came across I mean it was funny because my son looks at me and I looked at him and I was like dude Those are what are those and he was like, I don't know mom and they were twice the size of my work boots It it almost looked like something stepped in slid, but there was no slide mark underneath the foot. It was like It was just like a solid stomp, you know, like usually if something steps on mud it'll slip and it'll leave that slide mark This was just like a solid stomp And it was like I said twice the size of my boot my work boots. So I Couldn't really make out any like Toes or any but man, I'm telling you we both looked at each other and we were like this just don't look right You know like nothing slid here. Nothing fell here. These are like a couple of solid big round stumps, you know There's just things where I'm just it's not making sense and it's not adding up and then you add the The noises that I hear and things and it's I'm just starting to kind of Kind of get I don't know if I'm worried or I don't know. It's it's a weird feeling No, I I totally get you. I don't blame you at all. What's your size shoe? What would be double of that? I wear a size 11 in women's I I've got a pretty large foot for a woman Um, I'm a mill worker. So I wear pretty heavy work boots and yeah, I was wearing them down there And they were easily twice the size of my work boot So that's why I was looking for the slide mark because I was like what would be Something must have stepped and slid but even if something did that what goes down at the end of my property that has A boot size the foot the size of my boot that would be down there and there was no slide marks So you're saying it's 20 to 22 inches? It had to have been I mean it had to have been I mean it was I I think it was it was bigger than a foot I mean it was I put my foot down next to it and was like no way just no way like What would have done this, you know, and it was you can kind of see it trail off because it went into like some sallow It was just I just couldn't make any sense of it, you know just sticked my boot next to it and I'm just like what the What would be going on here, you know So were you able to see more than one track or were there multiple tracks? There was multiple um, and they were all just straight like stops They like the ground was just pressed in one one motion not like stomped and slid on like it was just pressed down Okay, and you could see you could kind of see it kind of go down the hill And there's like a little trail in between the sallow And then it just kind of went off into the sallow and I was just like man I don't know I I I came across that and I just looked at my son and I was like we got to go man Because I'm just I'm not so sure about all this. I don't know. I totally got it. I don't know what's going on So yeah, it's kind of unnerving How So let's say you're seeing multiple tracks in a line How far distance between the tracks like how How a lot oh, I would have to jump That's what that's what caught my eye is I was like well, where's the next one? And I'm looking and I'm like well these are footprints. Where's the next one? I'm walking and walking and it's a good ways I mean, I would have had to I'm six foot tall. I've got a meter long stride I had to walk a couple steps to like find the next one. So It was kind of interesting. I was like, well, all right See something fall from the trees did like, you know, what is this? I couldn't make any sense of it. Okay um Are you seeing Okay, first off. So I'm the first one you've really talked to about this beside the old guy at the gas station Yeah, I've uh, okay You know, because when it first started when you first start hearing things and things start happening I've had experiences when I was a child. Um all the way up into my adult years And those one of the experience was absolutely utterly terrifying. So I'm really not interested in trying to figure out, you know Like where yeah, I'm not going to go looking for you. You know, right exactly. Exactly Okay, um, yeah, are you are you having like weird stuff show up around your house or close to your house or like Is anything messing with the house itself? So I've had two nights in a row um, oh it was The first night was probably about a month and a half ago I woke up at one o'clock in the morning and something was knocking on the side of my house And it was going around the house And I woke up to it because I fell asleep on the couch And I was like did somebody get into the door? Or are they in the garage, you know, so I go down to the garage and I flick on the lights doors locked everything I'm like, okay. All right, and I just had I'm telling you I just had this I didn't sleep for the rest of night. I'll put it that way It was the most unnerving feeling And I'm listening and there is something knocking on like the south side of my house And it is it's not like a bam bam. It's like a knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock Like going alongside the house and I was just like I just I just locked all the doors shut all the lights off And it's like I'm not gonna move. I don't know what's going on Um, and it happened again about two weeks ago Uh was sitting here same thing same darn thing I woke up and it was like somebody is messing with the door There's got to be something going on went down same thing doors locked everything Something's knocking on the house again So I haven't heard it since then Um, but you know, basically when the sun goes down, we just kind of lock everything up I don't blame you. Holy mackerel. Um The you were saying the yelling Or you're hearing some kind of vocalization does that does that sound is it unique? Or does it sound like anything else that you've ever heard? It's the talking It's the talking talking I've heard the talking. I've heard the talking before in eastern washington when I've gone hunting with my dad Um, this was in the okanagan highlands And I've heard the talking before and it is the talking in the treeline That's what makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck is because you'll hear coyotes and then the coyotes will trail off And then you'll hear what sounds like people talking in the treeline And I'm just sitting here listening and it's like you can hear it, but it's You can't uh, it's just there's something there Absolutely 100% So When you say talking are you saying kind of like have you heard the seer sounds like that kind of thing? Yes It is so it's it not as loud though. It's like it's more like just chatter You know, it's not they're not like screaming screaming um But yeah, it's the same kind of garbled It's you can hear it in the treeline. I'm like what is going on and then you listen and you're like, yeah, no No, I'm going back outside It's got you. It's not a comforting feeling So you got you said you have kids with you Yeah, yeah, I've got a couple of them. Um If any of my questions are ever Too far just say I don't want to answer that. That's fine. Um, are they autistic at all? No, no, do you have neighbors by have you talked to them if they're having activities stuff like that? Uh, I have not got a chance to meet all my neighbors yet. Um, there is one lady that lives next door to me Uh, her dad actually built the logging road that goes behind art. We share a logging road and it goes up into the the warehouse or property On her dad actually built the road 90 years ago and maintained it up until his death Uh, I have a feeling that I might want to go over and talk to her I just haven't had a time to go over and bring some coffee yet, you know But I would recommend you do 100 100 it's been all my life to do because if anybody's going to know anything about this It's going to be her her family's been stewards of this land for a long time. So She would be the one to talk to Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, I mean you either You have two things either going on either it's you have bigfoot on your land Or you have someone messing with you and either one of those isn't Probably not a good situation. Um, I think it's bigfoot personally, but um, well, that's the thing is i'm from So i've been living in Astoria, Oregon for the last 26 years. I just moved over to rainier I don't know anybody over here. I don't have any friends over here. I moved over here because I loved the property I found a piece of property. Absolutely love. It's not too far from work. I don't know anybody over here Nobody even really knows where I live So I really because I've thought about that. I'm like, well, maybe somebody's trying to you know, no, I don't think that's a possibility Nobody really knows where I'm at But thank you for for Cheryl. What's going do you have cameras up on your property? Uh, I do not at the moment They're still sitting in a moving box in the garage, but yeah, that's another thing on my list to do To be honest, I'm mildly nervous to I mean I don't know it would be interesting to see what's going on, but do I really want to know? I don't know I mean, I don't know. It's yeah It'd be kind of scary to catch something on camera, but it'd also be pretty darn Pretty darn cool. So yeah, we're gonna have to get those up Usually when people set those up, it's a thing where It'll Get the activity at least a bit away from your house You know, it kind of pushes them out a little bit But that might be interesting Or even if you have any like I don't know if you have any audio recorders that might be fun to to put up and see if you can I mean if you're hearing Sierra sounds on your cop like that's incredible my no, it's the chatter. Yeah The chatter. Yeah, that's wild. Um Please Keep in in touch with me. Um if stuff continues to happen, uh, my email is bigfootsocietyjima.com I have no curls with any of this. I've had so many experiences with bigfoot. Um, all ranging from five years old Up until when I last one was when I was 36 and I'm 42 now So it's uh something that I talk about a lot And you know, the responses are all across the board, you know, um, I don't care. I know what I've experienced I know what I've seen. I know what I've heard um Yeah, somebody could explain it for me. That would be great, but Until then, you know, this is what I've got um Oh, this is this is really uh, really wild stuff. Let's definitely keep in touch and thank you for hanging out Very welcome. I appreciate it. Thank you for listening to me. Hopefully Yeah, hopefully be safe up there. Okay Yeah, I appreciate it. Thank you very much. We'll stay in touch You got it Thank you My goodness that is that was intense that was really really intense. Um It's a great night Let's continue Hey, what's up, man? Hey, hey, Stephen. How's it going? I'm pretty good, dude So like, uh, is it cool to tell my story? Feel free to share what you've got going on, man. Okay. So I'm a paranormal investigator, right? Um, I actually Um, found your page last week, right? Um, I think it was last sunday or something like that. Maybe monday anyways, um, so I I was actually going to set out to prove you wrong. Um Because of the fact but I was skeptical Um, what I found though, I will no longer say that I'm trying to prove you wrong. Um, so Yes, so um, I went out and I took about four days to stay out in the woods. Um, I've heard big-footed counters I heard all this stuff and I was like, this is malarkey. There's no just thing Um, and I was one of the biggest skeptic like I was skeptical, right? I mean like I was like, there's no way this exists Um, went out there. I live in Kentucky Um, I have people that I know and I decided to go out there and just see what's up Um, so make a long story short. I was out there for three or four days Um, I went fishing uh while I was out there. Um, and the first thing uh that I saw that was a little different was Uh, when I went fishing I caught my fish a skinned them had a you know, of course I ate the fish and everything and I set the fish out, right? Um, and I noticed that uh I kind of put my fish carcasses Away from the tin a little bit because I didn't want to attract coyotes and stuff So I saw that the fish were gone and then I was like, okay. That's just coyotes and stuff, you know like nothing big Um, but then as I was looking though like I didn't see no footprints and I was like, well, it's odd You know, you usually see coyote You see scrapes from coyotes and stuff like that because I've always been an avid hunter nothing. Um, the second night I was there um I heard a knock and I was like, okay. Well, I've heard of people here knocks Supposed to associate with bigfoot, but I was like, that's nothing. You know, I was like, I just probably something I thought I heard Um, about three o'clock in the morning. I heard another knock actually. I heard three knocks I was like, wait, what is this? It's like someone's taking a stick And hitting against a tree and I was like, I've never heard this before Um, and that's all I had my second night the third not the third night. I was out there I think it was out there for three nights. Maybe three nights and it was like three nights. I think in four days I think I went home on the fourth day um, but that third night I was there I heard a knock right and I was like, okay. I'm gonna go ahead and see what this is. Um, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna pull this. I'm not gonna like have this being like something. I think is not there. I'm gonna see the truth I went out there and I decided to go about a mile or two. Um And then that's when it kind of like hit me. I was like, oh my this guy. He's actually on something I used my thermal gun. Um, I had yeah, I had a thermal gun. Okay I actually used my thermal gun and what I saw Um, I thought it was a man. I thought it was a man that was possibly uh, Taking out a tree center or something because he was sitting there. Um, and or he was sitting there and he was just walking Um, and I had him on thermal gun. I didn't think to take a picture because I was like, oh, this is just a guy. Um, I then I went over there and I was I looked around and I I saw a footprint right and I have this I have this footprint. Um on my Other phone. Um, the team is actually have a team that does paranormal with me and they're like just sitting there saying, okay Let me look at this. Let me see what it was. But the footprint was a little bigger. It was actually a lot bigger And I thought would be um, it was around it was it was I guess in measurement this footprint would have been about 16 inches It would have been or like, you know, like I would say 16 maybe 17 Um, and then I was like, okay. Well, if that's the case this guy would have been big So what I did was I took the picture that I have the thermal gun and I told uh, I had my son to go over and stand He's five foot eight and I told my son to stand over there. Um as he was standing there, uh And the the picture I saved He was still about two foot shorter two and a half foot shorter than what the picture I took You know I'm saying because I I recreated that and I was like this So so whatever I saw had to have been in the range of seven foot two to seven foot five So man, I'm over here thinking like what did I catch? I'm I'm a skeptic. I ain't gonna lie to you, but I'm not a skeptic as much as I was I'm over here. I asking you like did I see something I thought it was or was it a big man or I still don't know, bro Like I don't know what I saw. So I'm just asking you wow So, I mean What you're what you're sharing with me? It sounds like you had a definite encounter of the stuff you were hearing and the stuff you saw definitely Didn't you say this is just recently that happened this was okay. This was I think this would have been Wednesday, yeah, it would have been Wednesday night. Um, and I still yeah, I still don't know what I saw Um, I'm I'm not as skeptical as I was Um, I actually I'm I'm like 30 on the fence. I still I'm still like hey Did I did I actually see something or or was this just a really tall guy? But the town I live in is really small And I pretty much know everybody in my town and I'm like no one here is seven foot three What did I see like like was it something was was it that you know, so I still don't know I didn't get a footprint that was uh, I would I would say about 16 inches something like that So I don't I still don't know though like I I'm I'm gonna say I I have pictures that I can show you later on I can sit to your thing. Um, I love to have them with the yeah, so I don't know Can you share what part of Kentucky? Yes, sir. This is west Kentucky, right? So there's a little place. Um, I don't know if you've ever heard of it It's called Marion Kentucky Let me look it up Marion Kentucky, let's see Oh, yeah, totally so that is uh, you're kind of over by Uh, Ohio river and on the other side is Garden of the Gods and Shawnee national force Yeah, dude that area is pretty wild So I guess they're like is there been sidings there before or oh, yeah, man So okay, so if you go to my website, which is uh, bigfootsocietypodcast.com and then you go on siding map Where you're talking about Is surrounded by dots of people that I've talked to in Illinois land between the lakes uh east of it East of you. I mean that whole area has had sidings and encounters and stuff. Oh, well um, I mean if you have you ever looked up, uh Charlie Raymond with the kbro. They're the Kentucky Bigfoot research organization No, sir. Like I'm like I said, I've been paranormal investigating for like five years. This is the first time I've ever Done anything and I know disrespect to you. I respect you 100 now I try to go in with like a thing of like I'm gonna show this guy. This is fake I I you know and then what I saw was like I am sorry. I'm sorry, man. That's wild. That's wild, man I'm glad that you had that experience though um In charlie raymond would love to hear for me. He keeps track of all the kentucky bigfoot reports to Uh, if you can look him up, but dude, man, that's why sorry you're gonna go out and try to do some more bigfoot stuff Or what yeah, so it's supposed to rain. Um, the rest this week where I live I'm actually I actually I'm going to I think uh next I think it's gonna be this monday I have a full week off. Um, I have a little uh tent that I set up Um, I'm gonna go out there again, but this time um since I did see something. I went ahead. I bought two more thermal guns um, and I'm gonna give it to uh, uh two of my team members that way I have one They have one they have one and then I'm gonna also to uh, we also have these uh, little um cat balls that we're going to We're gonna like put up somewhere And and I have cameras there so and they also make noise So I'm thinking like if I don't know if this is the way it works But I'm thinking maybe like if if they see something shiny Do they tend to pick stuff up like that or or they know or like how would that work? Uh, some people think so some people use even like CDs Okay, and hang them up with string. I don't hear that a lot, but I hear it every once in a while. Okay Yeah um You I mean really what it comes down to is like just be like Be like normal normal campers out there making a lot of noise and It's if they're in the area, it's gonna bring them in because they're super curious, you know, so okay Um, listen man, I thank you so much for letting me up. Um, like I said, man, I appreciate you god bless you brother um And I'll send you some pictures that I took um Probably tomorrow that way you have something that you'll see and you'll see that big footprint and stuff But yeah, man.
