Summary

Tim, a member of the Seminole tribe in South Florida, recounts a close-range Sasquatch encounter in April 2021 while riding his ATV near the reservation's south border, followed by subsequent strange experiences including vocalizations, unidentified creatures, and participation in a Seminole spiritual ceremony involving apparent paranormal activity.

Insights
  • Close-range Sasquatch encounters (15 yards) produce intense physiological responses including sustained fear, sleep disruption, and delayed shock reactions that can manifest hours after the event
  • Sasquatch behavior in Florida differs from Pacific Northwest reports—the creature remained stationary and made direct eye contact rather than fleeing, suggesting territorial or investigative behavior
  • Indigenous spiritual ceremonies in Seminole culture incorporate elements that align with cryptid encounter reports, including unexplained vocalizations, light phenomena, and missing time experiences
  • Three-toed track evidence in Florida swamps challenges conventional animal identification and suggests either unknown species or misidentification of known animals
  • Infrasound exposure or electromagnetic phenomena may explain dizziness and disorientation reported during and after Sasquatch encounters, though adrenaline response remains a viable alternative explanation
Trends
Increased documentation of Sasquatch encounters on Native American reservations with cultural context and oral tradition validationReports of non-aggressive Sasquatch behavior challenging predator/prey assumptions about cryptid encountersCorrelation between spiritual ceremonies and paranormal phenomena in indigenous communities suggesting potential shared mechanismsGrowing interest in three-toed track evidence as alternative to traditional four-toed animal tracks in cryptozoologyDocumented cases of missing time and physiological effects (dizziness, lightheadedness) during cryptid encounters suggesting potential infrasound or electromagnetic exposureIntegration of indigenous knowledge systems with cryptozoological investigation methodologyIncreased witness reluctance to photograph encounters due to shock response, limiting photographic evidence collectionReports of multiple entity types (Sasquatch, smaller humanoid creatures, light phenomena) in same geographic areas suggesting ecosystem complexity

It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind. And it either heard me or smelt me. And he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up and that that shocked me. They don't make people that that big. The way it moved. Almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything move like that in my life. They were screaming at each other in gibberish. It sounded like a language and they were chunting away back and forth, back and forwards, back and forwards. I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet that what I saw was bears. 911, what are you reporting? Jesus Christ, you better care. See ya. Hello. Get somebody out here. What's going on now, sir? That son of a bitch is about six foot nine. I don't know. Do you see him now, sir? Yes, I'm looking right here. Oh yeah, this is the Macho Man and you're listening to the cream of the crop. Yeah, podcast Sasquatch Chronicles. Here it comes! Welcome to the show. Tonight we'll be speaking with Tim and Tim is a part of the Seminole tribe. He grew up in south Florida and back in April of 2021 while riding his four wheeler in the woods. He was a member of the Seminole tribe and he was a member of the Seminole tribe. In April of 2021 while riding his four wheeler in the woods, he rode up on a Sasquatch. Tim had made the comment to me that he was kind of going through the Rolodex in his mind trying to figure out what he was actually seeing. And while in this same area, Tim had another strange experience, including finding a trackway, very large tracks that had three toes. And I'll let Tim go into it. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email. My email address is west at Sasquatch Chronicles.com and if you get a chance to check out Sasquatch Chronicles.com, you can become a member and get additional shows. There's no commercials on those either. Let's jump into it tonight. I want to welcome Tim to the show. Tim, thanks for coming on. Hey Wes, thanks for having me. Yeah, I appreciate you being here. And if you would tell us a little bit about yourself and kind of your thoughts about Bigfoot before this incident that happened to you in April of 2021. Yeah, I'm out here and I'm a member of the Seminole tribe out here in Florida, South Florida. I live on a reservation out here kind of out in the middle of nowhere. I've lived out here my entire life. I guess with just with Bigfoot, you know, kind of you grow up hearing stories, you know, ghost stories, that kind of thing, Bigfoot stories. And I never doubted their existence. So I always thought that they were they were real. But yeah. Well, if you would, would you take me back to April of 2021? What were you doing and and what happened? Yeah, so this encounter that happened in April about five years ago was my most definitive encounter, like the one I can say for sure was Bigfoot. I was out riding on my four-wheeler, my ATV out in the south side of the reservation. And if you you look on a map, the south side of the reservation is just completely just woods. No one lives out in this side of the reservation. It's just woods. And it comes up right next to the Big Cypress National Preserve. So even once you get off reservation, it's just woods for miles and miles. And then you come up to the interstate I-75 Alligator Alley. And then past that, it's just nothing but woods. So for just miles and miles and miles, it's just a vast wilderness, just swamps and woods. But I was out riding in this area in the reservation, this south southwest corner of the res. And I've been out there before, not too often. I mean, now I have been, but when I started really like riding around in the woods, not too much in that section. So I was trying to navigate my way through there. I knew the general area, but I didn't know some of the trails too well. So I was just, you know, riding around looking and it was getting late. It was about seven o'clock in the evening. So the sun was setting. I was riding along the west fence line of the reservation. There's a border out in the woods. There's a fence line that runs the border of the reservation. Kind of like to let you know where you are. And like you're on the res. And then once you get past this, you're off res. And, you know, it's about the fence is probably about seven feet tall with about like with wire running along the entire length of it. There's areas where there's no wire. Almost like somebody moved it or just got it's just gone or just fell off. But I was riding along this and up ahead, up ahead of me on the trail, it got really swampy. And this, the April that time of year, I guess this time because it's April even now, it was, it's dry out there. There's, there's a few spots where it can get muddy, but it's mainly dry this time of year. So I was, you know, comfortable driving up there, but this spot was really muddy. And I didn't know if I could, you know, get stuck or lose the forerler because, you know, the people have lost their ATVs and side by sides out there, you know, just because of the mud and everything. So I, I cut off into this off the fence line. I cut off into a trail on my left side. I'm driving down this trail as I'm going down this trail. You know, I'm listening to music. I'm enjoying myself, you know, just riding, having a good time. And then the hair on the back of my neck stands up and just out of nowhere, I get the sense of dread. And I get scared for like no reason. Like I said, I'm just riding and enjoying, you know, just to ride the drive and then I get scared out of nowhere. And I don't know if it was my self-conscious, like, you know, just my conscience speaking to me or whatever else, but I just, just this voice in my, the back of my head was just telling me, turn around. Go home, turn around, getting dark, getting late. Go home, turn around. But you know, me being me kind of being stubborn, I'm like, no, I'm okay. I know how to get out from where I'm at. So I kept going down this trail and then eventually I went from the west border of the reservation to the south border, the south fence line. And I come out to the fence line and I'm looking, I'm driving along it. And there's, it's woods on both sides of me. I'm just completely enveloped in woods. And then it opens up into this clearing on my right side, the right side of me where the fence line is. And I look out there into this clearing and it, he was just standing out there. It was just standing out there. This, when I saw it, when I initially saw him, I thought it was a bear. Me being me, I'm trying to rationalize what I'm seeing. So I think, okay, this is just a really big bear. And when I saw just how he was standing, you know, because he had broad shoulders and standing really comfortably. And I was like, yeah, and he was, he was brown. He was a really dark brown and I've seen black, we got black bears out here, but I've seen bears that are like a really dark brown. So I thought maybe it was that, but it, because it was, this thing was too big. I thought, okay, it's not a bear. It's a dead tree. And the only reason I say that is because, like I said, the hair was dark brown and where what I would I come to realize was its face is it was lighter than the hair. So I thought what where its face was, it was a broken branch because you know how, um, in the inside of a tree, the, the, the barks like lighter than the outside. Yeah. Yeah. And so that's what I thought. I thought the, the, where the face was, that was just where a branch was broken off at. And as I was looking at it, you know, trying to figure out what I'm trying to, I'm looking at trying to rationalize it. It's facing me. It kind of bends its head down and locks eyes with me. And I realize, oh no, that's a face. Those are two eyes looking at me and he blinks because I know, I know their eyes because he blinks. That's a no, and I was thinking that's a nose. That's a mouth. This is a big split. This is a Sasquatch that I'm looking at right here. And we, um, we locked eyes from, I, I, the whole thing lasted maybe no more than five seconds. But I mean, I got playing as day. Look at him and West the thing. I don't know why this detail sticks out to me so much. But, um, I just, I just, um, remember the, the sun kind of like shining off of his hair. I don't know why that sticks out to me, but like, because I, I, I, looking back, I might be thinking. I'm just like imagining it, you know, like it's, it's in my head, but I don't know why the, what the sun, the sun's light on the, the side of his head and on his shoulder, just like stuck out to me like, like he was actually there, you know, he was interacting with. Nature, you know, the sun was on his shoulder and, but no, he was, he was huge. And when I, when I realized what I was looking at, and we looked at each other for a couple of seconds, I turned my head and I start, you know, hauling butt out of there. And unfortunately back, back where I was at, you can't drive too fast because, like I said, this is a trail and, um, in the summer months, this area gets really swampy. Really muddy underwater. Basically people take their swamp buggies out there and so they'll drive around and they'll kind of like dig up the ground. They'll get big ruts in the, in the trails. So you kind of have to maneuver around them a little bit in some spots. So the fastest you could go comfortably, I would say it's maybe about 25 without, you know, risking your flipping or anything like that. But I was going as fast as, as I could without wrecking. And, you know, I kept as I was going out this, this trail, this fence line, I kept thinking he's behind me. He's behind me. I'm going to turn around. He's going to be right there. He's going to grab me and he's going to kill me. And I kept looking back, nothing there. And eventually as I'm going along this fence line, it comes out to this, um, forestry, I guess forestry road, these, um, the forestry guys use. I got onto that. And of course, you know, you take that you get back into the community. So I was going along this, um, trail basically. And even then I was still thinking he's right behind me. He's going to grab me and I kept looking back, nothing there. Well, eventually I get out into this, um, dirt road, this main dirt road. And, um, I'm driving along it and I'm still thinking he's right behind me. He's going to turn around. He's going to grab me. I keep looking back, nothing there. And, and, and Wes, I was so scared that I even got to the edge of the community and now I'm on paved road. Now I'm passing houses. Now even cars are passing me and I'm still thinking he's right behind me. He's going to grab me and I keep looking back, nothing there. And I get all the way down to the, my, um, the street that I live on and I turned down it. And even then I'm still thinking he's right there. He's right behind me and there's nothing there. And so, you know, I get home, I park my forer. I tell my dad what happened and my little brothers are there. I tell them what happened and, and then I started drawing, you know, kind of what I saw. I was just trying to show them what I saw and I'm not the best. I'm not the best artist. So it kind of looked rough. And I wish I still had the picture, but I lost it. You know, this happened five years ago and, you know, and then after that happened, you know, it's nighttime. So I go to, I try to sleep and I'll be honest, Wes, I only slept like an hour that night. It's cause I was so spooked and the only, um, the hour I did sleep, I woke up to just a noise outside. It was probably just, you know, like one of the dogs or something or a cat, but I woke up in a cold sweat from that. And it just, I was just shook up the entire night. Yeah, I would imagine you're probably still in shock at that point. And even if you believe in Bigfoot, it's a whole different thing actually seeing one. This thing was pretty close to you. How far away was he? And what, what are some details that kind of stand out to you? Man, Wes, here's the kind of scary part. He was maybe 15 yards from me, not far at all. And the biggest thing that stuck out to me was just, you know, how big this thing was. Cause, you know, I hear stories of, you know, skunk babes out here and everything. And a lot of people, you know, I guess the thing I hear a lot is they're not as big as like the ones and like, like where you're at, you know, the Pacific Northwest or anywhere else. You know, they say they're, the skunk babes are kind of smaller, but this one was huge. He was big. If I had to put a height to it, he was probably almost eight feet tall at least. Yeah, the reports in the Pacific Northwest might be a little bit bigger. But my attitude is once you run into something seven or eight feet tall, what does it really matter if they're running into ones nine or 10 feet tall in Washington? It's kind of like comparing apples to apples. What did your dad say when you, when you got home? The funny thing is, um, he didn't, he doesn't really believe in Bigfoot. I mean, he thinks maybe they could be out there, maybe not. Um, whenever I came into the house, he was on the couch watching TV and I told him, you know, dad, I saw Bigfoot. You know, I just saw him out there. His response was after I told him everything was, well, you better not go out there by yourself anymore. That was pretty much it. Your dad sounds a lot like my father. That sounds like something my father would say. You know, you were pretty close to this creature. Did you smell anything? No, that's the thing. Cause like, you know, that's the, that's the iconic thing about this skunk ape, right? Is the smell, right? It's supposed to have a smell. I didn't smell anything. I would like to say this creature's behavior surprises me, but it really doesn't. I mean, I could see it just standing there being like, what in the world are you doing here? What do you make of its behavior? Cause it must have heard you coming up on that four wheeler. Oh yeah, absolutely. I don't, I don't know. Cause like you, like you said, their behavior is so weird because you know, these are things that try to, I guess in general, just try to be elusive, not be seen. He was just standing out in that field. Like he didn't take off. He was just standing there. It was like, almost like he was expecting me. Like he wasn't caught off guard by it. The thing that caught me with the face the most was his eyes. He had large eyes, kind of not spaced out, but like, you know, like a decent, decently apart. They weren't close, close together. They're kind of farther out. And I don't know the eyes seem, they weren't animal eyes. You know what I mean? Like, you know how animal eyes kind of have that look to them? Yeah. I think I know what you mean. Like it wasn't just your normal average predator that you're looking at. There was something more to it. Yeah. They kind of like, they kind of seem more human-esque, if I could say that they kind of had like a, there was an intelligence there. And I know the sun is actually setting. I don't know how light it is out there, but did you notice his facial expressions changed at all? Um, like, it was about seven o'clock. So the sun was still out, like barely, but it was still there out. The, the expression I would say he wasn't like angry. He wasn't showing no teeth or anything. Kind of like, like I said, like kind of like he was expecting me there, just to calm like, you're here. Yeah. Kind of that stone face, you know, beyond the eyes. And I get completely what you're saying about the eyes. But as you were looking at this saying, did you get the feeling you were looking at more of an animal beyond the eyes? Or did you get the feeling like it was some sort of weird ancient man? What was kind of your thoughts on its overall appearance? Honestly, I would fall more on the animal side. Yeah. That's interesting. Did you ever go back? A few times to that same spot, I took a picture of where the clearing was, where it happened. And when I told my, my sister about, you know, what happened and, you know, I've told people, they get mad at me. They said, why don't you take a picture of it? Why don't you take a picture? I tell them, I said, look, the last thing I was thinking when I saw this thing was, let me pull my phone out and take a picture of this. Because it caught me off guard. But I've been to that spot a few times. And this had, this had to be a year after it happened, just about, I think of November of 2022. I went out there with a couple of my, my buddies, because I told them what I've seen and everything. And they've, you know, heard stories and they tell me stories of people they, they've, that's gone out there and seen stuff or heard stuff. And one of the things we're told in our culture is at night, don't make noise. Like you're not supposed to yell or shout or scream or play or anything like that. You're supposed to just be inside and, you know, go to bed basically. Another thing they tell us is don't whistle. You're not supposed to whistle at night because that attracts spirits. And the same thing with a noise thing. They say that attracts spirits. Another thing they say, this might be interesting to you. They say, don't throw anything into the woods at night because something will throw what you threw in the woods right back at you. But anyways, we went out there one night. And of course I'm going to, I told them, I said, I'm going to scream and yell and let's see if we get anything. So I screamed and they yelled and everything and made noise. And we're sitting out there and we're at another clearing or on another trail in my truck. And in the distance, maybe about a hundred yards away in the tree line. We hear at something like it's talking. Like in the distance, we can hear like chatter can't make it out, but there's something talking in the distance. And we're trying to, you know, make it out. We're like, you hear that? And they're like, we're all quiet in the truck. And one of my buddies is like, yeah, it sounds like someone's talking out there. And right when he said that. And West went when this one, I don't know if it was Bigfoot related because once when he said, yeah, it sounds like someone's talking. It turned into the talking turned almost into chanting. Like something started chanting out in the woods. Like it was like rhythmic like speech rhythmic noise. You know, that's when I said, OK, let's get out of here. And I started the truck up and we took off out of there. And that was the that was the next encounter in that or not encounter, but incident in that same area where I saw the Bigfoot the first time. Yeah, the chanting part is kind of weird. The talking that you heard in the beginning. I don't have it queued up at the moment, but it's in the intro of my show. The Sierra sounds. Did it sound like the Sierra sounds? I wouldn't say not like that specifically because you know how the samurai chatter kind of sounds like more jumbled. It was like like someone was like talking in the distance. Like not like like, like, you know how they were like kind of like it was like mumble just like constant like just. Chatter it was just like someone having a conversation. I don't know how to differentiate it, but. That's what I thought at first. Is this are they is this like samurai chatter, but it didn't sound like it was. The chanting is kind of creepy. Could you make out what they were actually chanting? No, no, I couldn't because like I said, they're probably. Wherever this was, maybe at least 100 yards where the truck was. But like I said, this was out in the woods way out in the woods. And, you know, for someone to be chanting out there, you're looking to get, you know, if you're trying to scare someone, you're going to probably get. Yeah, I'm kind of losing you a little bit there, Tim. If you would tell me about these tracks that you found, then I want to ask you about this weird ceremony that you attended. Oh, man. Okay. Yeah. So after the the chanting encounter one. A couple weeks later, we went back out there with a few more people. And, you know, started making noise and yelling and screaming. See if we could get anything where we were at. We were along the canal. So we're in a like a more open area. We were along a big canal, one of the big canals in the community. It's still a remote area, but we were out there and screaming around making noise and. There's an abandoned house out there and abandoned, I guess, mobile home. And they had a streetlight that's still on. And in that light, whenever we made the noise, we were facing. We had our backs turned to that where that mobile home was along the canal. And. Sorry, this is a. This one kind of freaks me out because I don't think this one was bigfoot. But we turn around and kind of look towards that. Mobile home along the because it's right next to the woods and right where the light from that street lamp meets the woods. There was something standing. Right above right next to the right next to one of the trees. And it's kind of like poking its head out. And we were looking at and this thing was probably maybe six feet. If I had to guess six feet off the ground. And it was poking it poked its head out and right whenever I told my buddies look, there's something looking at us right there. It went behind the tree. But then it poked its head out again. And it kind of like kept doing that. Like kind of like a peekaboo kind of thing. And the reason I say it is proud. I don't think it was a big foot because. I mean, at least for me, it didn't look like the one I saw. Because the one I saw kind of had like a cone, a conical kind of shape, like a cone head. I guess that's what they call it. But this one kind of seemed like just like a person. Kind of like, you know, I had a neck and a head and it was kind of like playing peekaboo with us a little bit. And that's when we got kind of creeped out and I was like, okay, let's go. And as we were leaving the canal, we were going along the dirt road. We get away from the light and everything we leave that that area. And I was like, what do you mean there's a light? He said, look, and I when I look, whatever he was looking at disappeared. And I said, what did you see? He said, there was a ball of light. And then it just, it was just gone. And it's like, are you sure? He's like, yeah, I'm sure I saw there was a ball of light on the road and it just disappeared. And I was like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. So then I was like, okay. And that was one of the last times we kind of poked around out there. There was another time. So the next time we went out there. This time we went all the way to the south fence line. And this trail we were on is actually part of the Florida trail. If you look on a map, it's you can see the Florida trail comes up right to the reservation and it keeps going up. And then then we got to the next. It's a little bit of a long way. It's a little bit of a long way. But then then we got to the next destination and then it keeps going up. And we were right there on that Florida trail. And you know, we got to go out. We go out there. I backed the truck up. So where, so to where the back of my truck is facing the fence. Or the gate is technically. And I'm facing the back of my truck's facing south. And then we were going to the exit exit exit exit exit exit exit exit exit goes along the fence and we had, you know, scream or, you know, we did what we did, you know, scream and yell and shout. See if we get anything. And this happened. This, this one was probably about close to midnight when we went out there. And this time we had our spotlights. And so we were just, um, saying they're listening. We hear, you know, owls go off behind us to the, um, I guess southeast. So behind me, we hear like a, it's in the distance. And I don't know if it was an hour or not. It didn't really sound like an hour almost. It almost sounded like something made a shout, like just like a yell. And then so we were listening to that for a little bit. Trying to see if we get anything else. Nothing, you know, it's just quiet. The, um, the woods are live, you know, it's not dead silent. There's, you know, still bugs and everything. And so I pull out my spotlight and I have my spotlight facing down this trail that goes on West. And it's like I said, it's a big clearing. And my spotlight maybe goes about maybe 75 yards, you get decent light. And then after that, it kind of like it fades out kind of, but right at the edge of my spotlight, something tall and dark runs across. I can't make it out. I just know it was a tall, dark shape runs from one end of the woods to the other end from one end of this clearing to the other. Now, you know, at night, like, you know how sometimes your eyes can play tricks on you. So I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be like, Oh, there's, I saw something, but my friend sitting behind me says, Tim, did you see that? And so I didn't, I didn't want to lead them on. So I said, well, no, what did you see? And he was like, there was something tall and dark that ran across that clearing. And then now, then I was thinking, Oh, my gosh, he saw it too. There was so there was definitely something there. And West, what happens next? I don't know if you've gotten reports of this, but me and my buddy who was sitting in shotgun with me in the truck, we kind of kind of started like getting lightheaded. Almost like we were like kind of like zoning out a little like spacing out. And then he kind of got like dizzy a little bit. It was like, we got dizzy kind of like really dizzy. And he was like, Whoa, and he grabbed the, um, he grabbed onto the door of my truck. And I was like, you get, are you getting lightheaded? He's like, yeah, I'm getting lightheaded. He's like, let's get out of here. This is getting freaky. I was like, yeah, me too. That is. And so then that's when we took off out of there. But yeah, that was a next incident. That was the last time we ever went like poking out in the woods like that. Yeah, that does get reported in some encounters. I haven't experienced that in my own encounter that zoned out feeling. It's kind of like being high, but not really, but it's kind of that foggy type feeling. I mean, we were high during my encounter, but that's how I would like it. And it's kind of that real foggy feeling. And I always kind of assumed it was like an adrenaline dump. What are your thoughts? I've wondered that too. Like if it was just my adrenaline kicking in, but I mean, up to that point, there really wasn't like, I wasn't like freaking out, you know what I mean? Because like I said, I just we just saw that thing run across and it was a good distance away from us. And I wasn't thinking in my head like I wasn't like freaking out up to that point. So I was just kind of like, what was that? Like, you know, what's this? What's going on? Not like, oh my gosh, you know, like a, but I mean, maybe it was I could be wrong. I could be wrong. In some encounters, people, what they're describing sounds like infrasound sickness and infrasound sickness can last for a while. How long did you feel these effects? And maybe about 15 seconds, we were like, whoo, I don't like just like getting real dizzy. And like towards the end, that's when I got like more bad. That's why my friend like grabbed onto the side of the door. And like, whoa, like he's kind of like trying to like steady himself. You know, even seeing at a second time will shock you. And it kind of sounds like what, and I wasn't there. So take my opinion with a grain of salt, but it might have just been kind of the shock, you know, your blood pressure goes up. And you say in the moment, hey, I really wasn't like freaking out. But you'd be surprised sometimes how the body reacts. You know, there's many times when I was a bouncer that I would be in situations and I was stone faced. And on the outside, it looks like I'm confident, calm and cool. And then when it's over, I'm like, I can't believe I just looked down the barrel of a gun. What am I doing with my life? You know, I'm like throwing up in the corner. It kind of hits me afterwards. And I almost wonder if that's what was going on with you guys. Backing up for a second, on that very first incident of that thing peeking around the tree, would you kind of describe what you saw? Yeah, so I mean, it was probably like I said, maybe 75 yards from us. Like I said, it wasn't it was no more than six feet tall. It wasn't the biggest thing. And like I said, it was like, it wasn't chronicle shaped. It was almost like a like a person that was just behind that behind that tree, like poking and looking at it. So it wasn't like his whole shoulder came out. It was kind of just like his head was poked out and then he went back in and went behind it. And I mean, like I said, it was it was night. The street lamp wasn't the best. But I could tell that there was a head that was poking like in and out. And I don't know. I guess I don't think that was Sasquatch related. And at that house, even we have a I have a friend he used to live at that house. That's actually his mom's house. And he doesn't live out here no more. But when they did live out there, they had stuff going on in that house before. So at times he was at home by himself where he thought his mom was home. Like he thought his mom came into the house because he heard footsteps and you know, noise like someone like like someone's coming into the house. So he went out there. So just to say hi to his mom. No one was out there. And at one time they they kept hogs in their yard and hogs in their own their backyard. And one night something came in and took off with one of their hogs because they went out there because I heard squealing like it was freaking out and then they went outside and they could hear the hog like being taken off. Like it was like squealing like it was freaking out as it was running off. And so they try to see if it broke out or not or something. There was no like breaking the fence. It would just like some it seemed like it would just took off. Makes me wonder what it was you guys actually saw if it wasn't one of these things. Before we get into the ceremony I want to ask you about. Tell me about these tracks that you found the three-toed track. Did you ever get a picture of it? And Wes, I'm kicking myself up and down over that. And I didn't. But I was it happened. I saw a few weeks ago, couple weeks back. And I was out in the same area. I was riding. It was the middle of the day. I was on the fence line. And I come up on it and I thought it was like a gator track at first. And then I look at it and I know it's maybe it's a bear track. But I was like, it's too long, not wide, but long to be a bear track. Maybe it's a person, but it had three toes. And there was there was no one out there. There was no tire tracks. No one else. No one had been back in this area in a while. I was the only one. And the tracks looked fairly fresh. So it wasn't one track that you found. It sounds like there was multiple. No, yeah, yeah, it was a it was a decent set of tracks. It wasn't. Like I said, I thought maybe it was a bear or like a gator, but they weren't wide tracks. They were kind of like, like if it was on two feet, does that make sense? Yeah, it does. I've seen it one time before in Texas. We only found two tracks. And I remember looking at it going, I don't know, kind of reminded me of like a bird track, but the bird weighs like 800 pounds. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I thought too. But I'm like, there's no bird that's big enough out here unless it's like a ostrich or a dinosaur than the maybe but like like the track was probably at least my size. And I wear 11 and a half in shoes, if not a little bigger. But there's no way like there's a there's a bird out here that could do that because it was kind of deep too. Yeah. And that's kind of what I was thinking to Tim with the truck, the two tracks that we found in Texas. And I would say they were about a size, you know, a men's shoe, 11, 12, maybe 13. But my mind went to bird because imagine like a chicken track. Everyone's seen a chicken track. It was kind of like that just huge. The toes were huge. To this day, I can't explain what made that track. And that's the thing, like, because like, when I saw it, I thought maybe a gator. But gator tracks aren't that long. They're they're wide, you know, and if it was if this was a gator, it had to be a big gator. But like I said, his feet would it's where the track was. It wasn't as long as a. Or if it was a gator, the track was not as long as it should have been. And also gators on drag their tails. So if it was a gator, you would have seen the the tail dragging through the mud. There was nothing there. And then if it was a bear, like I said, the same thing with a bear, it wasn't long enough to be a bear. That'd be a very odd shaped bear if it was. Yeah, we kind of did the same thing too. I was asking the guys, I was like, maybe gator tracks. But why is there only two? You know, we're out in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forest. And like you were saying, Tim, I mean, you would think you'd see four sets of tracks and a drag mark from the body. What I saw was only two tracks. I don't know why there was only two. My mind really went to more of like an oversized chicken than a than a gator. Very strange. Let me ask you, what do you think Sasquatch is? What's your take, Tim? Honestly, I mean, I don't I don't know. I don't think it's just an animal. Because I mean, if it was, we should have caught enough with it by now. Like we should have gotten one. There's too much. There's too much intelligence involved in it. I don't I don't think it's like a proto human. I'm not. I don't believe in evolution. But that's a whole another can of worms right there. But I don't think it's that I think they are, you know, flesh and blood. You know, they leave tracks. They leave in some instances, you know, like scat, like poop or dung. But I mean, they're very physical. But then I mean, like, you know, you hear those stories where they're like, they say there's something walking right, something big walking right behind them. And then they turn around. There's nothing there. Or there's something that yells at them or or roars at them. And then they turn around to see it and there's nothing there. And I don't know. I think there's definitely a supernatural element to it. I mean, I could be wrong, but that's kind of where I'm at. I don't think it's just an animal. Yeah, you would think if it was a normal animal, we would have caught up with that. By now, I always kind of liken it to the mountain gorilla. You know, when the locals would report seeing this man like creature, they never talked about anything supernatural. Everything they described sound like an animal. And most Native Americans have in their oral tradition, a lot of really weird, paranormal type activity that goes on when they encounter these beings or these creatures. Makes me wonder, tell me about this ceremony. I'm very curious about what this whole ceremony was about. And what happened? So this ceremony happened also on the reservation. One night, I was about 10 o'clock at night. One of my friends calls me up and says, Hey, do you want to, in his own words, he said, Hey, do you want to sponsor a dinner? And I was like, sponsor a dinner. He's like, yeah, do you want to come over and sponsor dinner? I thought he meant I give his family like 15 bucks and they'll give me like, I thought they were hosting like a party or something. And I like pay for a plate or something. That's what I thought. And I said, okay, yeah, sure. And he said, okay, yeah, if you want, you can bring, you know, or other friends over and so I go, okay. So I called my other friends up and they're like, yeah, we're willing to go over there. And so we went, we went over there. We got there about it was almost 11 o'clock at night. And we come to my friend's house and it was a mobile home. It's a double wide trailer. And so we walk in and when we walk in the dining, we walk right into the dining room and then to our rights is our right is the kitchen. It goes dining room, then kitchen. And then I guess another like living room area they had because they had a living room in front of us, but there was a living room off to our right side. And where that living room was to our right, they kind of had blankets taped up along the ceiling. Kind of like they kind of like made them like drapes out of the blankets, but they are kind of they were taped up to the ceiling. It kind of like walled it off. It wasn't completely closed in, but they were starting to like seal it up. And I saw that and I was like, oh, what's going on? He's like, oh, we're doing a ceremony. And I thought something, you know, just along with the cultural thing because he's also he's seminal, but he's also, um, I don't want to say Sue. He's one of the tribes in South Dakota. He's part that too. So he has mixed blood and I mean, I do too. I'm part Cherokee as well, but mainly Seminole. But anyways, so I thought, oh, okay. And I was going to, I decided to stay because I wanted to, you know, check it out, you know, see what was going on. And in the kitchen, they had, um, food. There was food there and everything I thought we were going to eat. But he said, no, that's after the ceremony. We're going to eat after the ceremony. So I said, oh, okay. And then so he's like, yeah, we're going to be in that, that living room. See where the blank where the, um, the blankets were kind of like cutting off that living room. We're going to be in there. And so we were hanging out talking and then for, and then about close to, um, midnight or probably was midnight. We, we all get gathered into that, that room. And in that room, there's, there's no furniture except for like three chairs, like fold out chairs. And the, the windows that are along the walls, they're completely like, there's blankets over them and they're completely like duct taped, completely sealed. And in the middle of this room, there's a blanket. And on the four corners of this blanket are the sticks or like poles. And on top of these poles, there's, um, shakers. What would I, what would I would come to realize our shakers and running along the border of this blanket is like tobacco tied to like string. It kind of looks like a, um, it kind of looked like Christmas lights, you know, Christmas lights look when there's like, they're along the string and there's like a little light. And then you go down, there's another light, kind of like that, you know, you know what I mean? Yeah. Kind of like that. So yeah, that kind of look. And they were, um, going along the border of this blanket. And in the middle of this blanket, this guy, what, um, my friend told me that's the, that's the medicine, man. He's the one doing the ceremony. I said, oh, okay. This, uh, the medicine man, he's talking to another man and he's telling them, you know, put the blanket over me and then tie me up. And I'm thinking that's kind of weird. But, you know, I'm not, I'm going to hold my tongue, try to be respectful. But so then everyone gets into the room. There's no furniture except for the three fold out chairs that are in front of this. Blanket in the middle of the room. They're kind of, they're facing towards this blanket. And my friend told me that his mom and his aunts were the ones that we're going to get prayed for in this ceremony. They're going to get prayed over. And so they were the ones that had to sit at these chairs. So they sit down at those chairs and then the rest of us sit along the wall. We, you know, we get down on the floor, sit along on the wall. And then the medicine man gets a blanket put over him. And then this other guy, like kind of like wraps a big rope like over his whole body ties them up. That puts like, I don't know how many knots, but he's like constantly knotting it up. So like making a real tie to where he can't get out. And then he, he guides him down into the middle of this blanket and like lays him on the ground and flips him over. So now his, he had his back on the ground, but now he's down on the, on his stomach. And then when that happens, they turn on flashlights in this room. And then this is when I realized I probably should leave when, when the medicine man said cut the power to the house. And so then someone went outside and turned the breaker off to the house and killed the power. So now there's only the flashlights that are on. And so then he said, okay, we, we're going to start the ceremony. Oh, I should back up and say, when we came into this room, we were not allowed to bring anything that would emit light. We were not allowed to bring our phones or a watch or anything like that. Anything that would emit light, we had to leave them out in the kitchen. So I'm sitting there along the wall and the guy that tied up the medicine man, he also comes up to the wall, sits down with it and he has a drum. And so while he's, we're sitting there, he's like, okay, we're going to start. And then he turned all the lights go off and it is itch black in that room. It's so dark. I mean, I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. That's how dark it was. Can't see nothing just pitch black. And so then the guy that tied up the medicine man, he starts beating a drum and starts singing in the language, whatever language I can't remember to try, but he starts singing in his tongue and starts being the drum. And sorry, I get, I get goosebumps every time I recount this. But he, he's beating his drum and it's pitch black. Can't see nothing and then the shakers start going off. You start and I start, you know, like, like a rattlesnake noise like the shakers are shaking and this guy is beating his drum. It's, it's shaking the, the shakers are going off. And this guy, the medicine man in the middle of the room, the, the, the, the drumming stops, the guy stopped singing. And then the medicine man says, this spirit is here. And he, he lists the name. I can't remember the name. And frankly, I don't, I don't want to remember the names of these spirits who was lifting off. But he said, this spirit's here, this spirit's here. And he said, he was talking to the, to the women that were getting prayed for. He said, oh, they're going to, they're going to look into your lives and they're going to, they're going to help you out. They're going to help you out. They're here. They're looking into your lives. They see this and they see that they're going to help you out. And then, so then they start the ceremony and they started beating the drum and singing the, the guy starts singing in his tongue. And then the shakers start going off again. And it, this part kind of creeps me out a little bit because then it sounds like there's a bird in the, in the room, West, that a bird starts flying around. Because you can hear like the flapping of the wings and kind of hear like the chirp a little bit. Like it's something flying around in the room. It's pitch black. Can't see nothing. Something starts like flying around chirping. And as this guy is beating his drum and singing and the shakers are going off and they stop again. And the medicine man starts saying that this spirit is saying this, this spirit is saying that this spirit is going to do this for these women that we're getting prayed for. And then they start beating the drum again. And, you know, the shakers start going off again. And then now instead of a bird, there was like a little green light, almost like a firefly kind of light, but it wasn't like emitting light. Like it was like kind of like its own self-contained little green ball of light. It kind of like started whizzing around the room a little bit. Can't see nothing still. You can only just see this little light going around. And then it stops. And oh, I forgot to mention this too. Along right next to this blanket, this blanket in the middle of the room, there's these four bowls of food that they put into it. They called it an offering. And Wes, something started eating out of it. Like you could hear this thing like start like kind of like smacking like like like smacking this little like like it was eating like like kind of like that, like eating like eating what's in that bowl. And this is where it gets weird because I mean, if it isn't weird already, but this is where it got really weird because the next thing I hear is a woman scream. But when I asked my friends if they heard that woman scream, some of them said, yeah, I heard a woman scream. But then others said, no, I heard children playing instead of the woman screaming. They some of them heard both. And when the ceremony when he stopped when the guy stopped beating his drum and the the shaker stopped going off, they turned the lights back to turn the lanterns and flashlights back on in the room. The the poles that were at the four corners of this blanket were all over the room. The blanket was disheveled all over the it was moved out of place. There was food missing from this bowl. There were there were chunks of food missing. And this guy this medicine man that got tied up and got put down in the middle of this blanket was sitting. Chris Cross applesauce in the middle of this blanket looking at us with a blanket completely off him with the ropes completely off him. He was just sitting there. And then after that they they um, you know, he said that the spirit said they'll help them. They'll do this for you to do this for these people. And then after that they passed around. I guess it was like a tobacco pipe to like smoke out of and then after that they passed around the the the food that the bowl out of what whatever it was that ate out of this bowl. They passed that around and everyone ate from that too. And then afterwards that that was the end of the ceremony. They they turned the power back on. We went back out and started eating the food. And Wes we went into that room at about. It was past midnight, but it wasn't one o'clock in the morning yet. But we got out of there almost four in the morning, but it didn't even feel like three hours past. It fell at most maybe 45 minutes. And then when the ceremony was over. My friend came up to me and he said, because I'm a Christian. And he came up to me he said, see, he said, what we believe is real. What you believe talking to me, he said, what you believe isn't real. And I told him, I said, look, I said, what I believe would just happen there was real, but I don't believe for a second it was anything good. And so that was kind of that that encounter right there. So what did they serve for dinner afterwards? I'm just I'm just joking, man. I think the minute they started tying up that old man and been like, you know what, I think I'm just going to hit Mickey D's on the way on the way home. It's been a very lovely evening. Thank you so much. I'm not sure what crime is about to be committed here. What was the purpose of the ceremony or were they trying to accomplish? They were trying to. I guess there was turmoil in their family, so they were trying to reach out to these spirits, these good spirits to come and help them out. They were basically praying. It was like a praying ceremony. Yeah, it's very strange. And then your friend's kind of a dick. I mean, after making me sit through that, he's like, I'm going to go in and insult your religion now. Well, why did they have the lights off? What was the purpose behind that? Did they say? No, I mean, I should have asked that. But I mean, my if I had to guess, maybe it's because they didn't want to be seen. Because I mean, like I said, we kind of go in there with our phones or anything that would emit light. And it was pitch black in that room. They taped off the the window so no light could come in, even though it was already like past midnight. But no, they didn't want no light in there. I don't know why. Yeah, I think I would have. I think I would have gotten out of there. I must promise meat and potatoes when I got here and are we sacrificing someone or what the hell is going on here? I think I would have just left. Yeah, but I didn't want to be rude to just like, I'm leaving, you know, because they invited me over. I mean, I should have gone looking hindsight's 2020. I should have just been like, I'm leaving. It's an odd account, man. I really appreciate you sharing it. You know, I kind of have an odd sense of humor. Some people laugh. Most don't. Probably why I don't get invited to stuff like that. But yeah, I appreciate sharing that. And I appreciate sharing the Sasquatch encounter. I really enjoyed chatting with you, man. Yeah, thanks for having me on. I appreciate the show, Wes. I appreciate all that you do and just keep up the good work, man. Thanks again, Tim. And that's it for tonight, everyone. Remember, if you've had an encounter, shoot me an email.
