From ABC News, Wall Street weekend. We kick off earnings season this week. Highlights include reports from industry leaders J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, and Goldman Sachs on Tuesday. ASML and Morgan Stanley Wednesday. Netflix and UnitedHealthcare on Thursday. And then we'll hear from HDFC on Friday, among others. Investors will be listening for clues as a number of Federal Reserve governors speak this week, including Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, who will be testifying before Congress Tuesday morning. On the economic calendar this week, on Tuesday, we got the government's June Consumer Price Index data. Producer Price Index data comes out on Wednesday. That's a measure of how much products or services cost manufacturers to produce and a closely watched measure of inflation. Compared to last month, the street expects no increase. Thursday, initial jobs claims for the past week. That number expected to stay flat at 215,000. And finally, the Census Bureau's June retail sales data will give us a gauge on whether Americans are in a spending mood. Dave Packer, ABC News.
