We have lift off. Finally, Celesera, Fox News, the next step taken that will lead to Americans once again setting foot on the moon. 4, 3, 2, 1, booster ignition, and lift off. The crew of Artemis 2 now bound for the moon. Four astronauts are on their journey around the moon and back. The crew will work together on several tasks while mission control is looking toward getting them back on Earth. NASA Press Secretary Bethany Stevens told Fox News, the astronauts' relatives are closely watching. Hoping that their family members come home safe in 10 days when they splash down off the coast of San Diego. This mission will set up future phases, including Artemis 4, set for 2028, marking the first moon landing since 1972. Fox's Gernel Scott. President Trump said to update the nation on the military action in Iran in about an hour. The White House tells us this. President Trump is going to give an operational update on the progress of Operation Epic Fury. He will highlight the United States military's success in achieving its stated goals prior to the operation, which were destroy Iran's deadly ballistic missiles and production facilities, annihilate their Navy, ensure their terrorist proxies can never destabilize the region. Again, guarantee that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon and the military is going to reiterate the two to three week timetable for concluding the operation. Fox's Peter Ducey at the White House. The Supreme Court heard arguments today over President Trump's executive order banning birthright citizenship. The Trump administration is arguing people in the country illegally should be excluded from citizenship. But Associate Justice Samuel Alito argues... A delay in the federal trial of Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the shooting death of CEO of UnitedHealthcare. The US district judge pushing back jury selection from early September to October 8th to give him more separation from his state trial, currently slated to start in June. The defense, which was hoping for a move to January of 2027, had argued the 27-year-old is in the position of needing to prepare for two complicated and serious trials at the same time. Mangione, who's pled not guilty, also faces two federal stalking charges and, if convicted, could be sentenced to life in prison. The death of a nearly blind refugee from Burma, who was left at a donut shop by Border Patrol agents in Buffalo, New York, has been ruled a homicide. The Erie County Medical Examiner's office didn't reach any conclusions about responsibility for Neural Amin Shah Alam's death. Job growth held up better than expected last month. Private employers were hiring in March. Job gains came in stronger than expected. Payroll Processing Company ADP reports 62,000 new private sector jobs were created last month. Economists were expecting only 40,000 positions. Also, February job growth was revised higher from 63,000 to 66,000 positions, and people were making more. March annual pay increased 4.5%. Hiring declined in the Northeast and Midwest, but increased in all other regions. ADP Chief Economist Neela Richardson says job growth continues to favor certain industries, particularly healthcare. Ginny Kosilda, Fox News. Retail sales rose a better than expected 0.6% last month from a revised 1.1% decline in January, that's according to the Commerce Department.
