Friends, today is the final part of our three part of our health series for our legacy wellness series pillar. And today's episode is extra special! Because we're learning how to protect our health on the inside not just the outside. But before we begin, let's do a gentle check-in together! Take a slow breath in! And out! How do you feel body feel right now friends? Calm, tight, happy and so whatever you're feeling is welcome here! We are glad of you for listening! We sure are and as we said today is an important episode! It will help you feel safe, strong and more peaceful. Because we're learning something powerful. Your health matters more than pleasing people. God gave you a body, a mind and a heart. And it also gave you something special called into listen! That's the quiet feeling inside that says this feels right or this doesn't feel right for me. Listening to that feeling helps your body calm, your health peaceful and your mind strong! You said always say what you do and don't feel comfortable with. God never asks us to stress ourselves or hurt ourselves to make others happy. Peace is one of God's gifts and protecting your peace, text your health. That means being around or even talking to people that make us feel uncomfortable. That's what people sometimes got feeling in it! That's right, Destiny! They say always follow your gut! Hey Daniel, isn't it story time yet? Absolutely, Destiny! You know what that means, friends! Start up the time machine, Destiny! It's time to rewind the clock! Friends, we're traveling back to a land long ago! That's right! A land of wide plains, beautiful rolling hills! And today, we need a young lion named Kevin! Kevin lived near a group of animals who followed each other everywhere! Where one went, all went! But Kevin noticed something. Sometimes the group walked into places that felt unsafe. And sometimes they followed just to belong. One day, when the group invited him to come, as they kept walking, Kevin felt something change in his body. His chest felt tight, his heart grew faster, and his paws felt heavy. That was Kevin's God-given intuition sending him a message. Kevin paused. He didn't var! He didn't argue! He didn't feel angry! He simply listened! Kevin decided he wouldn't go into the dark cave with the rest of the animals. He took a slow breath in and thought, this doesn't feel right for me! Instead of following the crowd, Kevin did something very wise! Wow, that takes cohorts to follow your end to withen, Daniel! What did he do, Daniel? What did he do? He politely stepped away! He didn't make fun of anyone! He didn't try to argue with anyone or say they were wrong! He just chose peace. He chose what was right for his beliefs and his life. And then, Kevin walked back towards his family, the lions who loved him and kept him safe. Good choice, Kevin! When he got home, he was so happy to see his little sister and his parents. He gave his sister a big hug and he gave his parents a big hug and he shared what made him feel uncomfortable. He shared how his body felt, how he listened to it and his parents, they listened! His mom understood him. She didn't get upset, she just loved him and they never blamed him. They were so proud of him, for trusting the wisdom, God placed inside of him. Later, when the parents heard about the danger that came to the place where the group of animals had gone, they were so relieved that Kevin was safe, calm, protected and at peace. All because little Kevin listened to his body, trusted his intuition and chose wisdom over pressure. Wisdom over pressure that sets it important lesson. God designed our bodies to guide us toward peace. And he gave us families to help us when we need support. Wow Daniel, that was such a good story! Okay friends, what did we learn today? Can I go first? Absolutely ladies first! Thank you! I learned that when a body feels tight, stressed or uncomfortable, it's asking for care! That's right, it is like it's asking for care. And choosing peace protects our health because strong kids don't follow the crowd. Or uncomfortable pressure from anyone, no matter what it is! They follow wisdom. Sometimes protecting your health means politely stepping away! That's right, you can say kind words like, no thank you, I'm not interested! And thank you for asking, but I got adult plans! That's right, those are so good destiny! You can also come up with some more with your family! You can always excuse yourself kindly and go talk to your parents! You will never be in trouble for choosing peace, over confusion or pressure! That's so good, that's strength! Now weakness! Okay friends, do you know what time it is? We do! Tell them destiny!
