So are these people who work at the fair? Efectivamente. Stallholders perhaps? Sí. Ok, so some stallholders vienen al bar, come to the bar, a despedirse to say goodbye, that reflects a verb, hasta el próximo año, until next year. I love the sentence because there's lots in it. Hay mucho, eh? Let's put it up into the different sections. Venga, vamos. So estos días tenemos mucho movimiento. So these days literally we have a lot of movement, but it means there's lots going on. So what are these things that are going on? Well, they're split into three sections. But first of all, got desayunos de resaca o de fin de fiesta. So these are breakfasts of hangovers. Sí, muy bien. Tener resaca o estar de resaca, puedes usar ambas. Ok, so to have a hangover, to be hungover. So, ¿de fin de fiesta? Or the hangover hasn't started yet because there's still the end of party breakfasts basically. And then we have al muertos antes de ir a tomar unas copas con los amigos y bailar. So then we have lunches which are before going for drinks and dancing with friends y cenas tardías and late dinners después de un día de amigos, cantes y bailes. After a full day of friends singing and dancing. Me hace mucha gracia que aquí tengamos el objetivo tardías, cenas tardías. Porque ya sabes que en España las cenas de por sí son bastante tarde. Entonces si estamos especificando que son tardías es que deben ser muy tarde. So what time would you say that una cena tardía would start at? 10 a media, 11. And just to pick up on esperar, because we know that that verb means to wait. That also means to hope. But when we esperar a alguien, we need the personal a. Sí, porque si dices esperaba los resultados del examen, ahí no la necesitamos. Muy bien. And the crucial thing in Spanish is that we remember that the word for is already in the verb, es esperar. So we don't introduce a word for for, while in English we have to wait for. In Spanish it's just esperar. Sí. You can't say someone handsome, you have to say someone handsome. So even if you are referring to a female, you would still use the masculine form. If you use someone, yes. I'm very grateful to Isabel for being so aware of who is having a first date at his bar. I have to admit that when I'm in a bar, and I see a couple of people, I always think, is it his first date or not? The truth is that I can't help it. People watching is just such a good thing. And that's a really great use of that imperfect tense when we're talking about what was happening.
