Summary

Rick and Mandy from southern Ohio share years of Bigfoot encounters in local woods and cemeteries, including visual sightings, vocalizations, physical evidence like footprints and tree structures, and paranormal phenomena like orbs and shimmering. They describe an active research effort involving gifting food to habituate the creatures and theorize Bigfoot may possess interdimensional or cloaking abilities alongside physical characteristics.

Insights
  • Sustained engagement and habituation through food gifting appears to increase encounter frequency and creature comfort with human presence in specific locations
  • Witnesses report correlation between electronic devices (phones, guns) and reduced activity, suggesting creatures may detect or avoid recording technology
  • Paranormal elements (orbs, unexplained wind, humming sensations, shimmering/cloaking) are integrated into witness framework alongside flesh-and-blood animal theory
  • Forest logging and habitat destruction is cited as driver pushing creatures into residential areas and increasing human-wildlife conflict incidents
  • Multiple independent witnesses in same geographic area reporting consistent phenomena (tree structures, vocalizations, tracks) suggests either genuine activity or shared cultural narrative
Trends
Increased Bigfoot sightings in Northeast Ohio reported in concentrated timeframe (5 sightings in 4 days in single county)Integration of paranormal/interdimensional theories with cryptozoological research among amateur investigatorsUse of thermal imaging, night vision, and parabolic microphones by civilian researchers to document evidenceHabitat loss from logging operations and data center development cited as catalyst for creature displacement into populated areasCemetery locations emerging as hotspots for activity and paranormal phenomena (orbs, electromagnetic effects)Food habituation and 'gifting' practices becoming standard methodology in amateur Bigfoot research communitiesWitness networks forming through social media and podcast appearances to correlate sightings and share evidenceSkepticism toward official reporting channels (BFRO) driving researchers toward independent documentation and community sharing

In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you firsthand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible, from backwoods, trails, and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it. So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. All right, Bigfoot Society. We've got the privilege of talking to Rick and Mandy today. Rick and Mandy are from out there in around southern Ohio, I believe, and they like to hang out in the woods, do a lot of outdoor stuff, but they've also had a lot of Bigfoot related things happen along the way. So we got connected through the internet, of course, wanted to have them on the show for them to share what they've experienced out in Ohio, which is a really active place as we are learning. But welcome to the show. Rick and Mandy, how are you guys? Good. We're doing good. Yeah, good. Good. I had to be on the show. Yes. Yes, very much. Thank you for having us. Yeah, absolutely. So are you able to, when you say southern Ohio, are we talking, I know there's a, southwest Ohio really has a lot going on. Is, are you guys down there? We're pretty much dead south. We're right here along the high rivers. So we're close to southwest and southeast Ohio. Oh, that's nice. So you've got a lot of different places you could go to. Is there anything else that the listeners would want to know about you before we get started, guys? Well, I just, I work in Columbus. I'm working construction up there and I'm always in the city. So when I'm off work, we're always out in the woods, you know, trying to get away from all that. I'm a cook. I'm a lunch lady. We have six kids between the two of us and we have five grand babies. We love being outside and hunting for artifacts, hiking. We love animals. That's awesome. We love being outside. That sounds like a good time right there. So when was it that you started realizing that there is something else going on out there in the woods when you guys were out there having fun? Oh, well, actually our first encounter together, I'd had a few prior before we got together, but our first encounter together, we were out looking at a waterfall. We were about four or five miles out this trail hiking and we had stopped and had a lunch. And I noticed something that was moving off in the distance, cracking around in the brush. And I just took it as a deer. And then the further we started hiking back towards the car, the tree breaks were louder and you could hear something on both sides of us like it was parallel on this out of there. And then we come up on a cedar grove. We got this smell that was just ungodly. It smelled like ammonia. Yeah. Really, really nasty, real musty smell. Had two different smells. We actually had two different smells, but everything went quiet. Right before we smelled that and like all the birds and everything stopped. But it's like they escorted us back to the car that day. Yeah. I got really obsessed with what it was. So I would go back out there and stuff. And things happened. Things were happy to hear whoops and knocks and like rock. We had a rock throwed one day. Oh, man. Different. Yeah, a couple different times. So were you going, did you keep on going out to the same area or were you guys going to different areas and weird things were happening pretty much all the different areas you were going? We were going to different areas. And we'd had different things happen at these different areas, but they were all relatively in a close area, a few miles from each other. But the really crazy one is when we were out at this cemetery. We was walking around looking at the old gravestones out there and just listening to nature, the birds chirping. It was listening to a woodpecker over inside the tree line knocking. And I glanced up and I thought I'd seen something black coming through the trees. And I looked over at Mandy and asked her if she had seen it. I didn't see anything. She didn't see it. So I just dismissed that as nothing. And about that time, all these birds come flying out in the opposite direction where I thought I'd seen the black figure coming through. And I heard the woodpecker squawk and fly off. And then we hear this rapid set of tree knocks on the tree where the woodpecker was. So we're looking over there. Our attention is drawn to that area. And all of a sudden this one tree starts shaking violently. Figurously, like a harvester, like a fruit harvester would shake. There's nothing human that could shake a tree like this. There's nobody out there. This is a dead end road in the middle of the woods, nowhere. But yeah, so this tree's shaking. This goes on for probably a minute straight. And we're just looking at each other in shock. And then all of a sudden it goes quiet. And it goes quiet for a few minutes. And then we hear these two big thuds off to our left side. I mean, these thuds were so loud it sounded like somebody dropped two logs out of an airplane. I mean, they were that. Like, it almost filled the vibrations in the ground. They were so loud. Yeah, like someone dropped a whole tree down. Well, then we're just totally freaked out. I mean, we're close to the car, but we got closer to the car at this point. And I grabbed my phone out. I'm scanned around the cemetery there. And behind us, there's a figure sitting over in the tree line, black figure. And I'm seeing this thing's head move. I'm seeing its arms, its legs moving back and forth. It's like rock in motion. This thing's getting real antsy. You know, the hair on my arms are standing up. I got a sick feeling in my stomach. I could see this thing better through my phone than I could with my eyes because it was getting dusk out. And I'm telling Mandy, you see this thing. I mean, there's something sitting over here. You see this thing. I'm blind as a bat. And she can't see anything, especially when it starts getting dark. But I knew something was there. Like you could feel it and you heard everything all around us. She goes over to walk towards this thing. And I'm down there. Honey, you're getting in the car right now. Let's get out of here. About that time we jump in the car. Well, here's where it gets strange. This strange wind comes out of nowhere. It's almost like a tornado type of wind. It was beautiful out. It was sunny, beautiful out. No wind. And this wind just comes out of nowhere. And that freaked me out. We didn't have any soles or anything to get out. It's one way in, one way out of this place. And I was ready to get out of there. We both agreed we need to leave. We left out of there and I get down the bottom of the hill. I'm snapping pictures. As you go back around the bottom to get out of this cemetery. I'm for sure this thing is going to intercept us before we get out of there. I mean, totally freaked us out. I went back the next day for, I had her take some pictures. I mean, the spot where it was. Try to get like a size comparison. This thing was, I mean, it was on its knees. It hadn't been eight or eight, between eight and 10 foot tall. Yeah. I mean, every bit of it. And its head was four times the size of his. It had to been a foot and a half wide. I mean, looking at the comparison pictures, it was three times wider than I am. And I'm a pretty big boy. Wow. Is that a place that you've ever been back to since then? We do. We go back all the time. We're actually doing current research there. We have things happen to us out there all the time. We started feeding them out there, putting apples in the trees. And we start gifting. I'd put her up on my shoulders and have her stick an apple up in the tree, about seven foot, eight foot high. And we turn around for a little bit, look back and apple be gone. And it'd still be juice dripping off of this thing where we stuck this apple. I fed out, they really liked the, we left all kinds of things. Strawberry cake. They really liked the apples out there. They do. So we kind of made that a constant on the gifting. Have they been leaving any weird things for you in the same areas? We did have some rocks stacked up left where we left some cookies. Tree break, broke the whole top out of the tree. Where we left the apples, they'd break the tops of, there'd be like a branch broke out 20 foot up in the tree where I left these apples. I don't know. I don't know if they were mad or that was. They're showing us. They, yeah. Nothing else can do this. That's what you're looking for. They're not sure what. There's tree structures out there. We hear screams and loops all the time. I mean, it's just, it's real active. We're owls that don't sound quite like owls. That I think they're mimicking other animals out there. Turkeys. It like makes the exact same sound repetitive. You know what I mean? Like turkeys make a few different sounds and it would just keep. Okay. I have some good vocals from out there too. This, all this calls me to get into the research area, but I'm, I just, I got obsessed with it and I just wanted to know what was out there, what was doing this. One lady, Donna Copa, she's been on your show. We've had experience, I think with the same watchers, which he called. That's, that's really wild. That's good. That's good to know. Donna's been through it for sure. Oh yeah. Did you hear then that the cemetery was active from someone else or are you guys pretty much just stumbled upon that as a big foot area? We stumbled upon it as an, as an area. Been other people that's had experiences in this cemetery also that after having ours, we, we found out. Yeah. We've seen something on, on TV and we was like, oh my gosh, that is where we're at. Like, yeah. Like, so we started talking to people like, yeah, we know. Reached out. But that's not our, that's not our only experiences we've had. There's another cemetery we was at close by there. We went in there one day. There was a fresh break off a tree. There was nuts all over this tree and I'm a forager. So I was picking up nuts. I was gathering up these nuts. And the whole time watching her go over to the edge of the cemetery and this is, there's like a cedar forest around this cemetery. Can't see back out. We're hearing this ting, ting, ting, ting, ting sound. That's real light. And like I hear it's always keep going. I see her just keep getting closer and closer. It's ting, ting, ting, ting, ting, ting. And then all of a sudden it goes, ting, ting, ting, ting, what? I mean, this big loud, when she got closer to the edge, it was like a big loud slap. Yeah. That really freaked us out that day. Yeah. And I'm thinking the thing was in there cracking nuts. I think that's what it was doing. And we came up on it because the tree break was fresh. I mean. Yeah, like it had just been done. Like something had ripped the top of this tree out, loaded with nuts and was gathered. I mean, I think they were eating the nuts too. Yeah. We've heard some screams down back in the area as well before too. Oh yeah, the cemetery location. We was in there one night because I'd go back all the time, any available hour I had, back to that location where I had that sighting. Sometimes every day. And we're hearing these screams out in there and they're getting closer. And this, this old man and woman pulls up out there out of blue and they get out and they got a German shepherd dog with them. And I'm hearing this thing scream and I look over at this dog and it tucks tail and winds and goes back to the car and the guy goes over and puts the German shepherd back into the car. And his wife asked him, what's that noise, honey? He said, oh, that's just a bobcat. And I'm telling you, Jeremiah, that's no bobcat. We're in the woods all the time. And that was no bobcat out there. Oh, it is. They eventually weighed me out and we left. Yeah. It sound, makes your blood run cold. Because that was their screen. Bobcats don't do that to me. Nah. I got real freaked out. I mean, I go back to them trails, that other trail we got paralleled. I come over and this hiker come over and scummy ice cream. This guy scared me to death. I thought I would love to see his dog. I thought for sure it was a big foot coming over there old bees. Right, exactly. So, question for you. When it sounds like you are going to the cemetery sometimes without Mandy, would you say it is more active when you are both together or when you're just by yourself, Rick? It's definitely more active when me and her are together. It definitely is. I was scared that that thing was going to take her that night, and I'd never see her again. That's, I mean, I just had the worst feeling. But I'm more used to them now. I'm not as scared as I was in encounters. We have kind of a relationship with them. Like I say, we take out and gift them and they come out and interact with us. It's, they know who we are. We're always out in there. They've gotten used to our car and stuff as well. This happens year-round. I mean, this clan of them, I don't think they leave. I think they're living underground out there in the cave systems. Yeah. I really do. We had done some exploring out, found a cave one time with a big boulder there, and we'd went back the next day, and this huge boulder's gone. It's totally gone. And no person could move this. I mean, this is straight up a hill in the middle of nowhere. Yeah, it's hard to even get to. I'm thinking maybe they, maybe they had that block in an entrance to their spot or what. There's some interesting things going on out here. Definitely. I want to start getting cast because we saw hand prints out there and feet prints. So many. We see tracks all the time. We're going to start doing some casting this year out there. How big are the tracks that you've been seeing? They're probably anywhere from, I mean, we've seen smaller tracks, but mainly about 16 to 20-inch tracks. These things are ever better, four to six inches wide. And even the baby tracks, when we find them, like I have even, like, jumped and tried to get an impression into the ground as deep as they are. I couldn't, I jumped three times and still it didn't go down into the dirt and mud. I liked that. It was wild. We could do a slow print about that big, but barefoot out in the middle of the woods. Yeah, that's the weird part. I mean, why is there, I've heard that, man, I heard that from a researcher. They were out in the woods by Mount Rainier in Washington, just these little baby footprints with the toes. Why would his little baby be out there? I mean, doesn't make sense, right? Yeah, it's weird, really weird stuff. We do a lot of airhead hunting. So we're out in these plowed fields looking for artifacts sometimes. And sometimes we'll run across tracks out there that will just go out and stop suddenly. Like in the middle of the thousand acre field, they go out and then stop. How'd they get in? I just, I can't explain that. I don't know. Because out in the fields, like you just sink to your ankles and mud everywhere you go. And then you get out so far and there's just a few pranks. Like, hmm, there was, there was another time when we were out driving and I was going a little fast out this one lane four straight. Easily don't go that fast. I was going out through there pretty fast that night and I come around a corner and I thought I'd seen something jump off of the hill in front of me. And it's standing there. And this thing's huge. I mean, it's just solid mass of black. You can see the arms and legs. And he was driving. So I seen it outside his window. Men are talking, my window's down. So by the time I got stopped, this thing had come beside of us at a full sprint. Oh boy. And she's looking over at me. And it's first matted and I could see was like, like it was like this and I could see it's back, but just from like the window. So it was not even quite to its shoulders and it took up. First I thought tree and then no. There's a tree there and then we heard crashing. We're crashing the awful break something. And my mind was like, I see like leaves and stuff like in it's fur. Oh my goodness. We went back the next day and found the print. So we're coming down to him. I tried to make a report of that through the BFRO and the guy. I was working right at the time. And he tried to call and I couldn't answer the phones. And then he just started treating me different after that. Well, she's burglary out there too. I was like, well, I'm done reporting these things. I mean, if they're not going to take me seriously, I'm not going to report. Yeah, absolutely. You are. How close was it to you guys when you saw it out the window, Mandy? Oh, it was just. Yeah. Close. Yeah. Five, six feet from us. Yeah, man. Yeah. Yeah. This happened last year too. Yeah. And there's the wild activity down here. That's what I hear because I have talked to, I'm pretty sure I know the area or at least the county we're talking about. And I've talked to a few people from the area and there's some wild, wild stuff that happens down there in southern Ohio where you guys are at. It's just weird, weird stuff. In the cemetery, do you guys ever hear, do they ever whistle at you guys? Yeah, we've heard whistles. Yeah. And I've heard the garbles, what I call it. Yeah, we hear it like they're talking. Sometimes it'll sound like a little kid talking in there. Sometimes you'll catch a word here and there. It's really strange. Yeah. The screaming, I just can't get over the screams of these things. And then the one who was barking, like I've got a video of us. We had something, it was kind of like a deep bark we were hiking out. There were six inches of snow out. We're four miles up in this trail, about to come up on a cliff top. It's a long trail, it don't end together. And something's like, whoo, whoo, whoo. It's doing this stuff. And it's scared her to death. I mean, she took off over the side of this cliff. I had to follow her. I almost couldn't get down there. I'm an outdoors woodsie. I grew me. Yeah, she, I never seen her run that fast. Yeah, I know not to run, but I don't know. That same, that same trail where the cookies were left. Or we'd left some cookies there and we'd come back and there was two rocks stacked up there. There's nobody out in this area. I mean, there was six inches of snow. You couldn't, I mean, it was the only tracks out in there. It's like every time we go out pretty much, we have an encounter. There's something happening. Unless I take a gun or somebody else, like sometimes I'll go out with somebody else. And I don't have much, I don't have much activity. Or if I pack a gun in there, it seems like I don't have much activity. I feel like when I have my phone on me, like I'm always trying to record and that's when stuff don't happen. But if I leave my phone, most generally something will happen. I know they can sense that stuff. Yeah. I mean, it's there's something there. I really think that you are absolutely correct. Last, this July, 2025 in Oregon, it was at the point where you're right. If you leave, you leave the electronics behind or you turn them off or whatever, that's when you can get some weird stuff. And of course, I am. I am being safe out there. But you know what I mean. So yeah, exactly. Yeah. Sorry, the cemetery after we come out took some random pictures and I had these crazy light orbs in this. There's like no light out there. We're all the time getting these crazy orbs in our pictures. And in these areas. At the same time. Yeah. At the same time, we usually have, you know, knocks or whistles. And it's only around the cemeteries that we pick up the orbs. That's right. Right. At first, I thought it was just the cemetery. I can't explain the orbs. Wow, stuff. What color orbs are you guys seeing out there? I don't know. We get them anywhere from blue to purple. The green. To green. Sometimes just clear. It'll be crazy looking orbs in some of the picture. There was another time I got, I was out. I'd stop a little bit, do a couple of knocks here and there. And I'd jump back to the car, drive down the road a little bit, and then take, I'd just take random pictures. And I caught one laying off the side of the road. This thing was black. I mean, had a big conical head on it. You can see the eyes shining. You can see a six pack of stomach and everything. It is wild. But some of these trees, it's twisted. I mean, or they'll be like twisted and then snap, you know, like snap now. And then a lot of structures, like I've seen trees that's hooked up hill into another tree and then have trees laid up like on them. Even that can put the impact and stuff growing. I found, I followed the direction of one of these bows one day off trail. And I got to be there and I found a cave that I didn't know was ever there. There was a really decent size cave back in there. I think this free bow was pointing in that direction. Oh, okay. So maybe some kind of directional marker. That's a cool idea. That's what I'm thinking. There's some, they're used for territorial markers and probably directional markers. Since I found that cave there. But like where there's houses, there won't be, and then there'll be a patch of woods and you'll see some tree bows. Sometimes some doubles, sometimes there'll be an A structure or an X. And like the trees that's leaned up there didn't come from there. Something's put, something's put in there. I mean, these things haven't been cut. They've been placed there. Yeah. And I've watched the thing where they decipher the difference from a tree that's been weighed down or been snapped and how they break different. You can tell. And yeah. You can tell definitely. Yeah. Like most time if they've been weighed down, they splinter. And if they've just been like broke, they just snap clean. Yeah, we're pretty observant. Once you start seeing this stuff, I mean, it's everywhere, Jeremiah. I mean, it's everywhere out here. So how do you guys view Bigfoot down there? I know there are different ways to try to explain what Bigfoot may be. Do you guys have any certain theory that you've come across from your years of experiencing things? I think, yeah, I want to lean towards that they're a flesh and blood animal. But I mean, with the orbs and everything and like that wind experience we had, I mean, there's paranormal linked with it. And the way that I look at it is like they say how cats have different nervous systems. And they say the cats like live on like the fifth dimension all the time. You know what I mean? Because they have a different type of nervous system. And like my cat, she's all black and white. And like when she gets in the light, her hair gets all brown and like stripy if the sun hits her. And I just feel like that's because of her nervous system. It's meant for, you know, and I think the Bigfoot sort of does that. And I just feel like they might have just different abilities. We've seen them like how there's nervous system. We've seen them like shimmering in the moon. We've seen one here a few months back. It was shimmering in the moon like. Oh, wow. I mean, and I'm pretty sure this thing was solid white. And I mean, it was like glowing in this moon line. We watched this thing for about an hour. I had some cheeseburgers baited out for it. We watched this thing come down a ridge was zigzagging around and go back up the ridge and come back down. This thing wanted these cheeseburgers bad. You guys are spoiling the Bigfoot down there. I'm telling you, we feed them good. We've gave them money. They're coins out. No, I need stuff. You know, we've shown you things. But that one in the moon like it almost just looked like it was smooth. It's too fast to just be walking. It was so the one that I had been counting on cemetery. I feel like I linked with that thing. The only newsroom with a panic button. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and gasp in horror as the show spirals completely out of control. It's not just news, it's emotionally unstable. Lunatic in the newsroom. Listen today. Hi, this is Alex Kanshawits. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast, a long-time reporter and an on-air contributor to CNBC. And if you're like me, you're trying to figure out how artificial intelligence is changing the business world and our lives. So each week on Big Technology, I bring on key actors from companies building AI tech and outsiders trying to influence it, asking where this is all going. They come from places like Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon and plenty more. So if you want to be smart with your wallet, your career choices, and meetings with your colleagues and at dinner parties, listen to Big Technology podcast wherever you get your podcasts. I feel like that I linked with that. And the whole time during that, I just kept thinking, this thing's going to eat my wife. This thing, I'm thinking that was maybe putting that in my head. I don't know. I just... Did you get that hum? It's like your ears are ringing. We've had hum and... In your ears. The night we seen the white one coming back up and down the ridge there, we had like a strange humming noise in our ears. So loud. We got some strange old pictures that night. So when you say humming, is it like when you have... Sometimes people get a ringing in their ears. Is it like that or a little different? Yeah. It just kind of reminds me of that. Yeah. It's like a ring. It was real loud. It was almost distracted. Almost like an eye headache on your eyes with the ring. It's so loud. Have you guys ever experienced any other weird physical effects out there? Yes. I have been turned around. Luckily... Luckily, I mean, I knew to know if I needed to get out, how to get out, like finding creaks and stuff, but... I have been going in a completely other direction following him and thought, oh, I thought we was going that way and thought I was really paying attention, but got turned around. I had an incident. It's a completely opposite direction. Before I met, before we got together, I fell asleep out in the woods one day. It just was just weird. I never... I'm like, I just got real tired, laid down and took a nap and woke up in the wood. I was out there digging the yellow root by myself. Never really thought that. I just got real tired. I've heard some people say they completely asleep. We heard that, then we was like, maybe. And then maybe that's what I thought, and maybe that's what it was. Nothing else makes sense. I don't know why I just laid down out there and taken a nap one day. Where's the dioramas hung that you was out there in that raccoon head? Got poor? Oh, God. Yeah, I was digging roots out in the same area. This was years ago, about 15 years ago. And we'd been going in there pretty heavy digging roots out. And we come in there one day and the path was just wrecked. Looked like a tornado come through. It was just trees laid everywhere across. I get up through there and there's a raccoon body laying there. There's like a 40-pound raccoon laying there with its head missing. Just the entrails hanging out of this body of this thing. And up the trail, about 20 feet, laying right in the middle of the trail was this raccoon's head. With the entrails, nothing had touched it. It looked like something had just twisted the head off this thing. I mean, I can't explain that. But I know we got out of there. We didn't go back in there after that. We took the warning. Yeah, I don't blame you. Whatever does something like that, I'm not tangled. There was another time we seen something black and shiny up in the tree. But it couldn't make it out. And I just dismissed it as a bear. But this was before we started having so many encounters. I'm thinking this might not have been a bear out there. We sat there and watched it forever, too. And it was like, what in the world? Yeah, shiny and black. It was definitely. We see bear all the time, but this wasn't a bear. It was too big to be a bear. There wasn't like a lot of looms on that tree for a bear to have like gotten up there. Either the more I think about it, it was just like. Definitely, definitely strange. Very strange. I can't explain this stuff. Some of the things I have on were so baffling. Oh, yeah. It just, it gets weirder the more time you spend in there. Has there ever been a time where you almost didn't go back to the area afterwards? Because it got, it was so bad. The barking. Yeah. The barking for that barking incident. It was more of a cemetery for me. I went back, but I still get scared when I go back out to that place. Like the other night when I caught something there, there's last night I caught something behind us moving in there and just it brought back memories of that encounter. Yeah. He don't even let me out of the truck. Couldn't even get up there. It bothered me for a long time. It still, it still bothers me. I got obsessed with it. I never went out and hunted for bigfoot and tell the stuff happened to me. Now it's an all the time thing. It's weird. Man, I think stuff is revving up. Honestly do. It really is. We were just, we were talking before the show started. This will be coming out in a few weeks, but at time of recording. Right now it's five sightings in Northeast Ohio in four days in a, I don't know, 20 minute radius. I mean, it is so close. It's all in the same county. Portage County. I've been watching where you've been posting about it. I'm going to keep track on it. Sorry. I feel like the bell's getting thinner. Also, where it's supposed to be. It's crazy things. I mean, there was another time out there. We were gifting pretty heavy and I went out one day and we didn't have any gifts. And I noticed a cat had puked on the car. Now I'm going to scrape that cat pee. I'm not thinking nothing about it. So we leave. We come back the next day and there's some feces. There's a piece of feces laying there with hair on it. And I didn't recognize this cat. Yeah. I see it. I mean, I reckon I'm out in the woods all the time. I know what different cat looks like. And this was unrecognized. Look, Connie Yeoman really did. But it had fiber in it like tree, like tree hairs. Oh, that was really weird. Yeah. I have another thing. I think there's a lot of sidings in where the cedar forests and stuff are. I think maybe they use that stuff for maybe a food source. I mean, there's a lot of vitamin C in some of these cedar trees. I mean, the great cover. I mean, the benefits from the cedar and pine are endless, you know, for them. For food, medicinal coverage because they're so thick and bloom all year. There's so many caves around here where we're located. There's a lot of huge underground cave cestals. And I do believe they use those. Yeah. And then he sent me a video one day where these soldiers dig underground and make like them huts, you know, and then use like tree stumps. And it looks like just, you know, regular nature. And I just wonder if they don't do that as well. I'd say they dig holes and maybe make secret doors in there. I mean, they got to. And they're like dead tree stumps. I think they kind of chameleon out. That's my opinion. I think they kind of blend in with the environment around. We call it shimmering. You know, we've seen we've seen a few shimmering. You. Okay. You have. I was hoping that would come up. Okay. Very interesting. Wow. So when you say shimmering, are you it's kind of like the predator thing? Kind of like the predator. Kind of like they blend back into the environment. Kind of like a chameleon or an octopus. You know, it does in the ocean. So that's that's how I think that they stay so hidden. I think they have that power to change. So you just want to make sure I understand it, right? So are you saying that you've seen something that looks like it's the predator or you've seen something that looks like it was a big foot and then it changed into like a shimmering type deal? I've seen something that looked like a big foot and then watched it just blend into the environment. Oh man. Just be and just be gone. Is that your name? It's just not. Yeah. I mean. Oh wow. And I know they move fast, but this is different. I mean, it has to be. It has to be crazy. Yeah. It's crazy. I think that's almost like where the words come from. I almost feel like that is almost like that. I know we're not. I know we're not crazy. Some of the people I worked with are like, oh, you're crazy. You know, they call me crazy. But I'm. Yeah. It eats at you. I mean, you want to go back out in there? I want to be out there all the time. All right. I want to see these things hurt. I want to be protected. Yeah. They're all going to log in a lot of forest. In the forest. They're all going to log a lot of forest out in here. And these things are moving. They're dispersing them out. And they're moving into areas of people, residential. Yeah. You keep hearing. There's a lot more sightings going on. Getting in dogs. They keep getting pushed and pushed. They're really brutal. It'll be interesting. And I'll leave it at this really basic. There's going to be situations where vast amounts of forest that haven't been cut down before are going to be cut down pretty soon. And that that's potentially going to lead to some really interesting encounters as things can't be in the forest anymore. And then they go other places, right? We'll see what happens. Totally agree. We've seen it happen here with these forests. They've been logging thousands of thousands of acres out of our state forest down here. They're pushing them further and further. They're putting these new data centers in now down here. It's going to get worse. They're putting other, it makes other predators. Sorry. No, they're putting all these data centers. We have some other craze. Like there's a serpent man down around here. We're kind of close to the serpent man. And there's Peach Mountain over there where they have that G government facility over there. Wow. It's stuff. Strange things we see over there sometimes. He's a wild stuff. I'm sorry, actually. Yeah, that's not. Wow. But the white one that was coming down shining that moonlight, it was just crazy. It was crazy. That's just weird. And it sounds like you guys, most of the time you're out there, you're not trying to record video or audio, stuff like that, right? Sometimes we do, but like we're working with minimal equipment. We're going to get bad equipment. I get it. We're just got old cell phones. Dollar cell phones. Don't even take a good selfie. We got some stuff coming. We got some night vision and some thermal stuff coming. Oh, nice. And some parabolic microphones. We're going full scale. I'm going to get some tracks casted this year. Yeah. We're going to keep doing our research and document things. Do you guys have... Some people have in their big foot area, they'll also have to worry about other things as well. Or is it primarily just big footed area? Or like, I know some people will have also things like dogman in the same area or... I mean, we've heard a few encounters of the dogman. I was personally, I don't think we've ever had a dogman encounter. But what we hear of them, I mean, they're real violent. It's just, it's mainly the big foot that we're seeing. I guess we sort of... But that opened us up to believe in other things like the dogman. By seeing, having all these encounters, you know, I'm open to about everything right now. When we was down in the LBL, they got some footage of some wild things while we was down there. They did. They got a picture of a dogman. We went down to the LBL, done some research with them. Was that for one of those meetups down there? There's a town hall meeting. Yeah, it went to a town hall meeting down there at the Golden Palm. Okay. The Martin Grove. That's great. People down there. Yeah. Martin is such a great guy. He, I've met him twice and he is just an upstanding guy. They all were. My father had a big foot encounter in the 70s. My dad wasn't a liar and he'd always tell me his story. And so that made me believe her mom a lot. You know, I believe my father and his encounter. It scared him. It bothered him. And his buddy had an encounter. One time I was a kid, I got off the bus and dad had had the tractor stuck down the creek. And I was probably nine years old. So I go down there to look at the tractor, fight my way through the goats, and get down there and something jumps up and starts just ripping up trees. I mean, just, it happened so quick. It scared me. I ran back to the house. I got my BB gun and then I went back down to the creek. And there was four inch saplings ripped apart down there. I mean, something was tearing trees out of getting out there. And I'm sure that was probably my first big foot encounter that I'd had. Hi, this is Alex Cantruids. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast, a longtime reporter and an on-air contributor to CNBC. And if you're like me, you're trying to figure out how artificial intelligence is changing the business world and our lives. So each week on Big Technology, I bring on key actors from companies building AI tech and outsiders trying to influence it, asking where this is all going. They come from places like Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, and plenty more. So if you want to be smart with your wallet, your career choices, and meetings with your colleagues and at dinner parties, listen to Big Technology podcast, wherever you get your podcasts. What's weird is the very first encounter I ever had was just the road right past his house where he grew up and had that. I had something parallel. Me, I was just walking on the road and there was something in the woods. It was probably one o'clock in the morning and I had one. I guess it was one. I couldn't take anything else that would follow me and keep like, there's like little tiny gravels or something. Can't like tossing out when I was walking. I was right there where he had lived. Yeah. That is wild. But what a weird, such an interesting connection, really. Way years apart. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. There was another time we were camping with my dad and I was on a boat it was the 4th of July. We were coming down this creek. Something was start cracking over off to the side there. We're all shooting fireworks at these things. And that just made it more, that made it intense. I mean, things got intense that time. And I always thought that that was a, that was a big foot encounter for us. That's close to where we've had our other encounter. So you're shooting off fireworks at what you think are big foot. What things were happening that made you think that there were big foot involved during the fireworks? Dear and other predators around here, they don't like fireworks and loud bangs. They're going to take off in the other direction. This just made these things carry on worse. I mean, they was cracking some major trees. Like just thrashing around just out of sight off the edge of the river bank. Man. Was you, was you 10 hundred? Yeah, I was young. I was younger. Yeah, we see tracks all the time. I'm going to start plaster casting these tracks and get some more good evidence. There's one spot that we seen and there was tracks going like bunches of them going this way and then you could see them where they come back. Like it was just like a highway. If you want to remember right there, like look at all of these. Yeah, some of the trails. There was so many of them. Some of the trails through there. I mean, just tell my something massive has been through there. But I know when everything goes quiet, like at the cemetery, everything went quiet and then birds flew off. And not, I mean, I just scared me to death. That tree shaking and then seeing that thing sitting over off the side of the cemetery. I haven't experienced anything like, I've experienced the quietness and the stuff going on with your ears and then you know stuff is going to happen. I've not had the visual yet. I'd know one of these days it'll happen. It'll probably be life changing and. It will change in my life when I've seen that thing. There's so much more human looking to me. They look so human in the face. Then you know a lot of people have them like they look like gorillas or monkeys or something. And I don't have that experience. I feel like they look a lot more human in the face than. Yeah. They look a lot more human. Anyhow. The one I've seen, I mean that it looked a lot like a human. It just might be bigger and covered in hair. Very odd looking. I've had a few people describe it to me and I think it makes sense how they're like you know imagine what would happen to you if you went out and just lived in the woods and left everything behind for years and years and years and like what would happen to you out there. Like you know what would you look like and what would you be thinking and what would you be doing. And I think that's the truth from that is kind of connected. They're similar but they're always hungry. They're always looking for food. For food. All the time. Cheeseburgers everywhere. Everywhere. They love it. They're all pertinence. That's right. They're like whatever's available. Yeah. Yep. But they love cheeseburgers and apples. They love them apples. Yeah. They like strawberry cake too. It's stuff. Well Rick and Mandy it has been really fun chatting with you guys. I always like talking to people about southern Ohio just because it's a weird place. I've been there once and it was pre-Bigfoot stuff but I remember we were driving along the back roads and we were lost and this is like back in the 90s without GPS and stuff. And dad was like I'm just gonna walk up to that house and ask for direction and I was like a 10 and I was like that's a bad idea dad. Like I wouldn't do that out here but yeah it's a different world. It's beautiful but it's a different world but you know I just want to say thank you guys for both coming on and keep us in the loop with if more things happen and is there a way that people can keep up to date with things you got going on or is it or a way to reach out to you or anything like that? We're both on Facebook. I'm in Facebook under Richard Stiltner and Mandy Stiltner. And we're working on getting us a page up and we can show over evidence and everything. Are you know we used the one since mine. You know problems right now you know that. Right. Yeah. Forget it. I know what the problem is now. Definitely. Which email would that be that would be good to use Mandy? The probably the southern Ohio. Yeah so I got you. 19. 17. No. At gmail.com. Yep southern Ohio Bigfoot 1979 at gmail.com. Perfect. I will make sure that's in the description too but thank you so much for hanging out guys. It has been a pleasure and you guys are having a good time down there but be safe out there in the woods and in the cemetery. Good point. Thank you. You too. Appreciate it. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Have you ever heard all the accounts of Bigfoot activity around Oak Ridge, Oregon and you think to yourself man I would love to get out in those woods and experience it for myself.
